  We got bowl games all day and they're the two late night games

  that I'm focusing on Wake Forest and Mississippi State, Arizona

  and SMU both with some really sharp line moves here.

  So 3 pack overall, 2 bowl games and then one really big college

  basketball game. Kind of a sneaky big college

  basketball day. It's about 30 games overall, but

  there is a late night game between 2 ranked teams.

  It's the most heavily back game of the day.

  And we also have a really good feed the trendy dog opportunity

  And then also the NFL slate. And just remember, you know, we

  have two huge games on Saturday, Carolina, Tampa, Seattle, San

  Fran. We did see Tampa Bay -3 but

  there's juice on the Carolina plus three side.

  And also that line did go to Seattle, like plus one to -1

  1/2. There's some injuries, question

  marks for San Fran. Those are the games that really

  matter because there's playoff stakes and implications.

  But we're going to talk about how to handle basically Week 18.

  ton of backup quarterbacks. A lot of teams are packing it

  I just wouldn't fall totally into that trap.

  But either way, we'll talk about the rhythm recommendations and

  matches for NFL Week 18, which can be a little bit tricky, but

  Rundown. Now, without further ado, let's

  a winning day, which is always the goal.

  And I want to start off with some college football.

  So these are not College Football Playoff games, but they
• 5:59
  are bowl games. And again, we got to be aware of

  kind of the way we approach them.

  You know, you look at some of these, you know, playoff games.

  It's, I'm not going to say easier.

  Again, I don't want to, you know, make it seem like it's
• 6:10
  easy to cash a ticket. It's not.

  It's hard to make winning bets, but it's a little easier from a
• 6:15
  capping standpoint because, you know, everyone's playing.

  You know, the coaches are all there.
• 6:19
  Like the bowl games. We've talked about it all bowl
• 6:21
  season long. I think we've done a pretty
• 6:22
  decent job of not only looking at what the market is doing, but
• 6:26
  why these lines are moving. What's the deal with opt outs,
• 6:28
  guys going, you know, for going the game to go in the draft,
• 6:31
  going in the portal, coaches, you know, interim coaches, all
• 6:34
  that kind of stuff. So we definitely want to be
• 6:37
  cognizant the fact that these are bowl games and not playoff
• 6:40
  games. But with that being said, I got
• 6:42
  a couple plays for you, so I'm going to focus on both of the
• 6:45
  8:00 games. Now this is me going to complain
• 6:47
  one more time. Why do we have a 28 o'clock
• 6:50
  games? Can you give me an 8 and a nine
• 6:52
  and eight and a 10? You know, of course this means
• 6:54
  I'm going to have to be watching sweating 2 games simultaneously.

  But anyway, start with the first one, the Dukes Mayo Bowl, 8:00
• 7:01
  PM Eastern Time. We got Wake Forest versus
• 7:04
  Mississippi State, so let's set the stage.

  Talk splits, line, movement, rhythm and juice reel.

  I'll give you my play here. Now, this game will be played at
• 7:12
  Carolina Panthers and by the way, Duke's Mayo bowl.
• 7:14
  That means the winning coach usually gets have a huge bucket
• 7:17
  of Mayo dumped on their head, which pretty disgusting to me.
• 7:20
  But anyway, look forward to that.

  But we do have Wake Forest coming in eight and four.
• 7:25
  However, they did have a three-game win streak come to an
• 7:27
  end. Final game of the year they lost
• 7:29
  to Duke kind of got beat up 49 to 32 did not cover as a 1 1/2

  point Rd. dog. You know, Mississippi State 5:00

  and 7:00 on the year they've dropped three straight just got
• 7:39
  rolled by Ole Miss. As we just mentioned, 38 to 19
• 7:43
  didn't cover as A7 half point home dog.

  Now you might be asking yourself, don't you have to have

  six wins to get a bowl game? Yes, you do.

  And I was researching this game. There are a couple teams that
• 7:53
  were offered this bowl game and and denied it.
• 7:55
  So they needed someone to play this game.
• 7:57
  So that's why A5 win Mississippi State team is playing in this
• 8:00
  matchup. Now we open this game with
• 8:03
  Mississippi State listed around a three-point neutral site
• 8:05
  favorite. And early in the week, we did
• 8:07
  see this line tick up toward Mississippi State.

  They went from -3 up to as high as -4 1/2, but any as soon as it
• 8:14
  got up to 4 1/2 and it would did not stay there very long.

  Immediately back down to 4, back down to 3 1/2.

  Now it's down to three. And as I'm recording this pod

  right now, I'm seeing some of these lines now get down to as
• 8:27
  low as 2 1/2. So basically the early move was

  toward Mississippi State. Now it's coming back all the way
• 8:32
  toward Wake Forest. Key here is getting the hook, so
• 8:37
  I'm looking at the numbers right now.

  I got Wake Forest earlier today, wrote about them in the Sharp
• 8:41
  report, put them in the juicer lap.

  I got them plus 3 1/2 at -120, the only book still offering the
• 8:47
  hook. I'm in Massachusetts, might be
• 8:49
  different for you, but the score is offering plus 3 1/2 at -125
• 8:54
  but all the other books are +3. And I'm actually seeing FanDuel

  get down to 2 1/2. So important here that at least
• 8:59
  you get the three, which is pretty widely available.

  But if you do want to find a book in the hook, 3 1/2, as long

  as it's not like -120 is -125 that's about as high as I want

  to go. But again, lose by three.

  You want to cash by the hook there.

  So we're seeing a sign come back toward Wake Forest.

  And why is that important? One game day movement is

  important because that's limits are raised bigger that's coming
• 9:20
  in. Like we saw what the you that
• 9:21
  game day movement in their favor, but also because it is a
• 9:24
  contrarian play. So it's basically becoming a
• 9:27
  line freeze or even some reverse line movement because you are
• 9:30
  getting 59% of spread bets at DraftKings backing Mississippi
• 9:34
  State. And I think that's kind of just
• 9:36
  like SEC bias, maybe kind of a big bigger name school.
• 9:40
  But you flip it the other way. 8:00 game.

  Even if you take away the sharp buyback on Wake Forest, Demon
• 9:46
  Deacons are in a good contrarian spot, only getting 41% of spread
• 9:50
  bets at DK in a ESPN 8:00 primetime game.

  If we do focus at DraftKings and stay there, we'll notice 41%
• 9:59
  spread bets but 52% of spread dollars on Wake Forest.

  So good little low bets, higher dollar split in favor of the

  Demon Deacons. Now we did see this total fall.

  I didn't play it. My one play here is Wake Forest

  plus 3 1/2, but it did fall 56 and half down to 53 1/2.

  I'm seeing some 50 threes now. Did notice a pretty good 40%

  bets but 90% dollar edge from circa Sharps and Vegas playing

  the under motivation is important here to me because you

  got to think about, you know, what these games mean to both

  programs. So there does seem to be some

  opt outs on both sides. But here's here's an angle that

  hopefully will benefit Wake Forest.

  Their coach, Jake Dickert, he's in his first year with the team

  and he I believe was at Washington State prior, but he's
• 10:45
  never won a bowl game. So first year new team Wake
• 10:50
  Forces had a pretty good year. Think there's motivation here to

  win a bowl game, you know, cement your your program.

  Also, Mississippi State, you know, how much do they want to
• 10:58
  play this game? This is like, you know, getting
• 11:01
  picked last at recess for for, you know, dodgeball or whatever.

  They were not expected to play in this game and two teams had
• 11:09
  to bow out for them to get in. So what's their motivation to
• 11:12
  play this game? I mean, you weren't even
• 11:13
  expecting to have a bowl game. We look at the defenses
• 11:16
  advantage here for Wake. They're only giving up 22 1/2
• 11:19
  points per game. That's 42nd best in college
• 11:22
  college football. And Mississippi State, they're
• 11:24
  giving up 31.8 points per game, 109th.

  So their defense wasn't very good all year.

  Lastly, did you notice Wake Forest?

  You know where they're at, they're in North Carolina.

  Where's this game at? Carolina Panthers home stadium.

  So even though it's a quote UN quote neutral site, is there a

  little bit of home cooking with a friendly crowd toward Wake

  Forest? So add it all up here, guys.

  Publix on Mississippi State, but this line is creeping back

  toward Wake Forest. You are contrarian with a low

  bets higher dollar split. Maybe get some home field
• 11:52
  advantage. Maybe you got a coach who's

  going to really, you know, try hard to win this game or at

  least cover for us. I did take Wake Forest plus 3

  looks basically most of the markets down to three.

  So try to get the hook if you can.

  It's going to be played at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego,

  CA. Now Zona comes in nine and three

  ranked 17th in the country. They've won five in a row, just

  beat Arizona State 23 to 7, easily covered as a 2 point Rd.

  favorite. Meanwhile, SMU 8 and four did

  just lose their last game though that snapped A3 game-winning

  streak and it was kind of embarrassing.

  They lost to Cal 38 to 35. They're a 13 1/2 point Rd.

  favorite and lost out right. So what are we seeing across the

  market here? Well, this game open, Zona

  listed as high as a three-point neutral site favorite and the

  public says this line is way too short.

  Zona is the better team. They're on a win streak, better

  record, and they're ranked and SMU is not.

  And they just lost straight up to a Cal team on their favor by

  two touchdowns. Nearly.

  However, even though 60% of spread bats are going with the

  Wildcats, Wildcats didn't move -3 to -4 - 5.

  No, this thing has gone completely the other way toward

  SMU. So SMU went from +3 now to -1 -

  1 1/2. So you know what that means?

  We got a dog to fave line. Love it when you flip and go dog

  in on SMU. Not only is SMU and a really

  60% of spread bats are on Zona. I want to be on the 40% side and

  they heavily bet primetime game and we do have that contrarian

  value here to go with SMU. Now you guys know me, I'm not

  going to lay A1 or 1 1/2 win by 1 and lose my bet.

  So I money lined SMU, I got SMU at -112 on the money line.

  I think that was, I want to say FanDuel, but again, shop around

  some books -115 but if you look at Circa SMU, 88% of money line

  bets, 93% of money line dollars. So out in Vegas, you're getting

  a big, big wave here of pro and Joe bet splits from Circa.

  And again, the key with these splits is like if it's heavily

  back game, you know, and it's DraftKings, like I definitely

  want to be against it because that's really the public

  barometer. But Circa their clientele is

  sharper betters. So the fact that it's 88

  percent, 93% that tells me heavy, heavy money for mostly

  sharp players with the line move on.

  SMUSMU is a buy low play unranked home fit, not a home

  unranked home fave, but an unranked neutral site fave

  against a ranked opponent. It's a system we love to play

  like again, if Arizona is the better record, better team,

  quote UN quote, then why is the line going SMU?

  Dead giveaway to me that pros are on the Mustangs here.

  straight up contrarian play. Like even if you know the line

  didn't move further in their favor, this is just your number

  one contrarian play to bet against the public.

  Who's hammering Sparty. But again, classic fade the

  trendy dog play. I'm going to or what I did was I

  here. We do have some very clear

  advantages toward the Cornhuskers.

  One, they have the better offensive efficiency.

  They are ranked 37th in the country versus 46th.

  They also have the better effective field goal percentage,

  ranking 41st versus 107th for Michigan State.

  They also take better care of the ball, so they actually rank

  15th best in the country at not turning it over versus 166th for

  Sparty. They turn it over quite a bit

  more. Lastly, we do have a free throw

  advantage. If this becomes a tight game,

  hopefully Nebraska makes their their free throws.

  Then lastly, you know, I got a system for this 1-2 ranked teams
