Chase Ends at Gas Station After Assault | Venice Beach News
Early Friday morning in Covina, a tense chase erupted on the eastbound 210 Freeway after a tow truck driver was assaulted. CHP officers pursued the suspect, who eventually crashed at a gas station on Arrow Highway and Citrus Avenue. Officers fired their weapons, hitting the suspect—later transported to the hospital—while no officers were injured. The tow truck driver, also hospitalized, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
