- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue Recap.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hot takes, cold facts, and zero respect for the official narrative.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Sit back, roll your eyes, and let's recap rogue style.
- 0:14Speaker 1: What's up, everybody.
- 0:15Speaker 3: This is Linda, a host of the Rogue Recap, excited
- 0:18Speaker 3: to be with you. It is Wednesday, August nineteenth, around
- 0:21Speaker 3: seven o'clock when I'm recording this, and I want to
- 0:25Speaker 3: talk a little bit about some folks that are running
- 0:29Speaker 3: for office here in the United States of America, and
- 0:34Speaker 3: it is it's shocking. Last night we had another DSA
- 0:39Speaker 3: candidate when in Florida, and I have to say, I
- 0:45Speaker 3: am I'm really not very familiar with this candidate. Her
- 0:49Speaker 3: name is Angie Nixon, and she is radical, is all
- 0:56Speaker 3: get out black woman.
- 1:00Speaker 1: About kids.
- 1:00Speaker 3: She's mom, she was in the Florida State House as
- 1:05Speaker 3: a representative, and she's really poorly educated about how things work.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Have a few cuts of her here today and I'm
- 1:16Speaker 3: going to play some of them, and I obviously want
- 1:18Speaker 3: to talk to you guys about them. But I am
- 1:21Speaker 3: afraid of what people think normal is. I understand that
- 1:27Speaker 3: we want to be individuals and we want to be unique,
- 1:30Speaker 3: and we want to carry our own message. And you know,
- 1:34Speaker 3: walk to the beat of our own drum, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 3: whatever stupid cliche phrase.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You want to use.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Okay, fine, but this is some really strange stuff.
- 1:44Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:44Speaker 3: This is a woman who in the middle of the
- 1:48Speaker 3: Florida House a representative started screaming through the house with
- 1:53Speaker 3: a bullhorn. And I'm not even gonna play it because
- 1:55Speaker 3: it doesn't really translate well in my opinion on radio
- 1:59Speaker 3: and podcasting. But she's running through and she's screaming that
- 2:03Speaker 3: she won't be silenced, and you know, the things that
- 2:05Speaker 3: people are doing are against the Constitution, and it's like
- 2:09Speaker 3: she's not making any sense.
- 2:10Speaker 1: She's just making a scene.
- 2:13Speaker 3: And it's it's this whole idea of like, well, I'll
- 2:16Speaker 3: make a scene and people are filming it on their phones,
- 2:19Speaker 3: and I'll go viral for looking like I'm standing up
- 2:22Speaker 3: for those who can't stand up for themselves, right, Because
- 2:25Speaker 3: that's sort of the mantra that we've been going with
- 2:27Speaker 3: for the past couple of decades, is that people who
- 2:30Speaker 3: speak out and they're wildly uneducated and incredibly misinformed and
- 2:37Speaker 3: literally are the loudest person in the room for no
- 2:39Speaker 3: other reason than to just be the loudest person in
- 2:41Speaker 3: the room, you know, hat tipped to AOC. She's a
- 2:45Speaker 3: perfect example. Iljan Omar another example, Ayana Presley, another example,
- 2:51Speaker 3: Bernie Sanders another example. Abdul sayed another example, Like the
- 2:56Speaker 3: list goes on and on and on, and they'll say, oh,
- 3:00Speaker 3: so you can't attack these people because they're people of color.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I could give a shit less what color they are.
- 3:05Speaker 3: They're really annoying, stupid people and they can't be in
- 3:08Speaker 3: positions of power. And unfortunately, because people have forgotten the meritocracy.
- 3:14Speaker 3: And I'm going to be talking about meritocracy a lot,
- 3:17Speaker 3: because I'm starting to realize that a big part of
- 3:21Speaker 3: where we are right now and why we're here is
- 3:25Speaker 3: because people are actually stupid and ignorant. Not saying that
- 3:29Speaker 3: as an insult, saying that is a fact, right Like, truly,
- 3:32Speaker 3: in the most honest sense of the word ignorant, you
- 3:36Speaker 3: are unaware of what so and said and what not means.
- 3:40Speaker 3: You're literally just spouting talking points that somebody else said
- 3:44Speaker 3: to you, and you're actually too lazy to do your
- 3:48Speaker 3: own work to look into what that next thing would be,
- 3:53Speaker 3: to find out why you feel the way you do,
- 3:56Speaker 3: or why you act the way you do, or why
- 3:58Speaker 3: you're saying that people should do something they're doing when
- 4:01Speaker 3: in actuality, you actually don't know why. You're just saying
- 4:05Speaker 3: whatever your campaign manager told you to say because you
- 4:08Speaker 3: checked a box for them, and that should frighten everybody.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So we're going to start out with Angie Nixon. We're
- 4:15Speaker 3: going to move into Karen Bass. Karen Bass has made
- 4:19Speaker 3: this comment, and it's funny. I was watching the video
- 4:22Speaker 3: of her making it on x She's reading from a script,
- 4:26Speaker 3: So again, this harkens back to people being stupid, which
- 4:29Speaker 3: I just talked about a moment ago. She's reading from
- 4:32Speaker 3: a script that she wants people to donate to her
- 4:35Speaker 3: campaign and that the city of Los Angeles is going
- 4:40Speaker 3: to match donations six to one. Now, from everything I've
- 4:46Speaker 3: ever done in my career in politics, and I've been
- 4:48Speaker 3: in politics for a long time, the campaign is always
- 4:52Speaker 3: an independent, siloed entity from anything you're already doing in
- 4:57Speaker 3: public life. So if you're a senator, if you're congressman,
- 5:00Speaker 3: if you're a governor and you're running for another office,
- 5:04Speaker 3: that entire campaign is handled by independent money, independent staff,
- 5:09Speaker 3: independent website. I mean, you are completely and totally separate
- 5:13Speaker 3: from your role in whatever you're doing. And most people,
- 5:16Speaker 3: when they start doing that, they give up their other
- 5:19Speaker 3: role if they do the right thing. A lot of
- 5:21Speaker 3: people don't because they're not sure if they're going to
- 5:22Speaker 3: win and they still want to keep the role they're
- 5:24Speaker 3: in and blah blah blah blah blah, okay, fine. Karen
- 5:27Speaker 3: Bess is one such person. She is currently the mayor.
- 5:31Speaker 3: So if you're the mayor and you're running to be
- 5:33Speaker 3: mayor again, and you're telling the people that are voting
- 5:37Speaker 3: for you that if they donate five bucks that the
- 5:40Speaker 3: city is then going to not even triple, they're gonna
- 5:44Speaker 3: they're multiply it by five or things. She said six
- 5:47Speaker 3: to one. I have to look at the copy here,
- 5:49Speaker 3: but yes, six to one. So you donate five bucks
- 5:52Speaker 3: and you get thirty What how's that?
- 5:54Speaker 1: I mean, it's not legal, guys, it's not legal. Period.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So you know, let's start with her because I on
- 6:00Speaker 1: a tangent about her.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Take a listen, this is Karen Bass encouraging people to
- 6:04Speaker 3: donate because the City of Los Angeles is gonna go
- 6:09Speaker 3: six to one on any money that they donate.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Your donation to our campaign is more critical right now
- 6:15Speaker 2: than ever before. Let me explain. Thanks to LA's Supermatch Program,
- 6:21Speaker 2: every qualified donation from Los Angeles residents is match six
- 6:25Speaker 2: to one by the city. But after the primary, we
- 6:28Speaker 2: had to start over from scratch. So we need you
- 6:31Speaker 2: to rush your matching donation right now to help fuel
- 6:35Speaker 2: this campaign. Chip in five dollars right now, and the
- 6:38Speaker 2: city turns it into thirty five. Chip in twenty five
- 6:41Speaker 2: dollars right now, and the city turns it into one
- 6:44Speaker 2: hundred and seventy five dollars. Make your matching donation today.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 6:51Speaker 3: So I've looked up what the Los Angeles Supermatch Program
- 6:55Speaker 3: is and this is what it says. You tell me
- 6:58Speaker 3: if this doesn't sound like something super sketchy. Los Angeles
- 7:02Speaker 3: Super Match Program is a public campaign financing system that
- 7:07Speaker 3: multiplies small dollar donations from city residents six to one
- 7:13Speaker 3: using municipal taxpayer funds. Let me repeat that, Los Angeles
- 7:19Speaker 3: Supermatch Program is a public campaign financing system that multiplies
- 7:24Speaker 3: small dollar donations from city residents six to one using
- 7:30Speaker 3: municipal taxpayer funds.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So you're using.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Taxpayer dollars and it's not indicated like these are Democrat taxpayers.
- 7:41Speaker 3: These are taxpayers that have previously donated to Karen Bass.
- 7:44Speaker 3: These are taxpayers that have said that they're okay with
- 7:48Speaker 3: their taxpayer dollars going towards the elevation of a certain
- 7:52Speaker 3: candidate over I mean.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It says here that the public matching.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Funds have existed in Los Angeles since nineteen ninety and
- 7:59Speaker 3: the six to one match ratio was implemented in twenty nineteen.
- 8:04Speaker 1: That's not a surprise under Newsome.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I mean, it feels wrong, right. It's not like this
- 8:09Speaker 3: is happening for every other candidate.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It's not like.
- 8:13Speaker 3: This is happening for the other people that are running
- 8:16Speaker 3: for the role. It's just her. I just I don't know.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It feels really strange to me, guys, and I think
- 8:22Speaker 3: what we've learned of late is that there is a
- 8:26Speaker 3: lot going on in.
- 8:28Speaker 1: These blue cities and states that are completely unknown.
- 8:32Speaker 3: There's so much fraud, whether it's medicaid fraud, welfare fraud,
- 8:37Speaker 3: marriage fraud, immigration fraud, subcity fraud, COVID fraud, PPE fraud.
- 8:43Speaker 3: It's just people lying on paperwork getting pushed through the
- 8:48Speaker 3: system by other people who are there from eight to
- 8:51Speaker 3: four or nine to five, can give a shit less
- 8:53Speaker 3: about what they do.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And don't check.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It just feels like so many programs have been initiated
- 9:01Speaker 3: and they use words like public financing through municipal taxpayer
- 9:06Speaker 3: dollars and you think, oh, yeah, that sounds legit.
- 9:09Speaker 1: It's not legit.
- 9:10Speaker 3: It's actually completely fraudulent. Why should taxpayer dollars go towards
- 9:15Speaker 3: elevating any candidate over another who's running for the very
- 9:19Speaker 3: office that the taxpayers are going to be under. You
- 9:22Speaker 3: would think that taxpayer dollars would be independent of supporting
- 9:26Speaker 3: one candidate over another in a fair and free election,
- 9:28Speaker 3: But I guess not. I mean, it's la what do
- 9:31Speaker 3: I expect. I'm sure it happens in other cities and
- 9:33Speaker 3: states as well, because people aren't paying attention because, like
- 9:35Speaker 3: I said the other day, we forgot what we forgot
- 9:38Speaker 3: because there's so much wrong. That's the other issue. There's
- 9:42Speaker 3: so much wrong. People are doing wild and crazy shit
- 9:48Speaker 3: every day.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And I'm going to get to that in a second.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I'm going to get to like the whole I'm really
- 9:53Speaker 3: worried about the state of humanity kind of thing, Like
- 9:57Speaker 3: I'm worried, like I played that one and yesterday, who
- 10:01Speaker 3: thinks that a maga hat is more frightening than someone
- 10:05Speaker 3: screaming a lot who walkbar running towards them. Just really
- 10:09Speaker 3: hold on to that for a minute. You know, the
- 10:11Speaker 3: amount of crime committed against humanity overwhelmingly is by radical terrorists,
- 10:21Speaker 3: typically Islamic terrorists that come to cities, states, countries that
- 10:27Speaker 3: are not Islamic followers, with the goal to conquer and dominate.
- 10:31Speaker 3: And if you speak to any of their clerics, or
- 10:34Speaker 3: you listen to any of the information taught in the madrasas,
- 10:37Speaker 3: if you look at the way that they take over
- 10:39Speaker 3: every community that they move into as opposed to becoming
- 10:42Speaker 3: a part of a community, this isn't a hard concept.
- 10:45Speaker 3: But I'm not going down that road right now. I'm
- 10:48Speaker 3: just saying that there just really seems to be very
- 10:53Speaker 3: odd and unpredictable si up happening on the daily where
- 10:58Speaker 3: people are just wild'ing out for no reason, to a
- 11:02Speaker 3: point where you really look at people and you say, sincerely.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Are you all right? Like are you good?
- 11:06Speaker 3: Because I'm feeling like you're not good. I'm feeling like
- 11:09Speaker 3: maybe you belong in a rubber room for like ever,
- 11:11Speaker 3: or at least till we get this out of your system.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Anyways, we'll come back to that. So Angie Nixon, Florida
- 11:17Speaker 3: State Rep. Just won the primary to be the Democrat
- 11:21Speaker 3: Senate nominee for the general election now on November third,
- 11:26Speaker 3: and she'll be running against the current incumbent, Ashley Moody,
- 11:30Speaker 3: who took over for Marco Rubio when he took the
- 11:33Speaker 3: position with the White House Administration in the State Department
- 11:36Speaker 3: as a Secretary of State. And Ashley Moody's great, I mean,
- 11:39Speaker 3: she did a great job. She was formerly the Attorney
- 11:41Speaker 3: General in the state of Florida. She's fantastic, no nonsense,
- 11:44Speaker 3: kind of gal, really just kind of at it. Husband
- 11:46Speaker 3: as an FBI officer, you know, just a really really
- 11:50Speaker 3: good law abiding family. These are people who live their
- 11:54Speaker 3: lives according to the rule of law.
- 11:57Speaker 1: They uphold the law, they enforced the law, and.
- 11:59Speaker 3: They understand it. So you know, from what I've seen
- 12:02Speaker 3: of Ashley Moody, it's really not a contest be heurt
- 12:05Speaker 3: between her and Angie Nixon. And I think these next
- 12:08Speaker 3: three cuts will enlighten you as to the upcoming race
- 12:13Speaker 3: as we head now into these final few months up.
- 12:15Speaker 3: We've got about seventy six days now until November three.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Here's Angie Nixon, Number one.
- 12:22Speaker 4: You want medicare for all and for universal childcare and
- 12:25Speaker 4: pre K. How are you suggesting taxpayers pay for that? Yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 4: for sure, So thank you for that question. I have
- 12:33Speaker 4: been traveling all across the state of Florida having conversations
- 12:36Speaker 4: with folks.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And what is evidence is.
- 12:40Speaker 4: That everyone wants the same things, right to be healthy, prosperous,
- 12:44Speaker 4: and save and a lot of folks it crosses party
- 12:48Speaker 4: lines as it relates to universal childcare and medicare for all,
- 12:53Speaker 4: and how do we pay for that? Actually, Medicare for all,
- 12:56Speaker 4: We're already spending the amount we would be paying for
- 12:59Speaker 4: Medicare for all right now, even while folks are still
- 13:02Speaker 4: paying for copays and deductibles and co insurance.
- 13:08Speaker 3: So I don't know about you, but I didn't hear
- 13:10Speaker 3: an answer there. She literally could not answer that question.
- 13:13Speaker 3: The question was how do you pay for Medicare for all?
- 13:18Speaker 3: Because you can't give an answer to that question unless
- 13:22Speaker 3: you are able to be honest about the fact that
- 13:26Speaker 3: you are actually unable to do that, because, first of all,
- 13:30Speaker 3: we have to determine the word all, which, since we
- 13:33Speaker 3: in this society are unable to determine what a woman
- 13:36Speaker 3: is I can't even imagine how they would tackle the
- 13:39Speaker 3: word all, because it's inclusive, right, God forbid, we figure
- 13:43Speaker 3: out what everybody is and where everybody goes. But she
- 13:47Speaker 3: is literally just saying, like, well, we're already paying for
- 13:51Speaker 3: Medicare for all, and like we're already paying it, and
- 13:54Speaker 3: you know, and then we have deductibles and you know,
- 13:56Speaker 3: we have those two. What are you saying? That's actually
- 14:01Speaker 3: not what's happening. Medicare for all is not a real thing.
- 14:04Speaker 3: And the reason why is because we have thirty million
- 14:06Speaker 3: people if not more, living off of the system, burdening
- 14:11Speaker 3: the healthcare system completely, robbing it blind. And then we
- 14:15Speaker 3: have a much much smaller portion of people that are
- 14:19Speaker 3: feeding into the system. They are paying the taxes, and
- 14:23Speaker 3: they pay the largest portions of the taxes. I mean,
- 14:25Speaker 3: those people that are paying fifty to sixty to ninety
- 14:27Speaker 3: percent of their overall income because they're trying to do
- 14:30Speaker 3: everything that they can to get some money home for
- 14:33Speaker 3: their own families, but they're taxed out the yin yang
- 14:35Speaker 3: for being successful. That's essentially what happens now. You know,
- 14:39Speaker 3: in the Land of the Free, where capitalism is supposed
- 14:43Speaker 3: to be that we the way that we live so
- 14:44Speaker 3: that we have a free and fair society where people
- 14:46Speaker 3: are allowed to achieve the American dream of being successful,
- 14:50Speaker 3: paying for your own family and working hard. These people
- 14:54Speaker 3: come in and they say, well, actually, we want to
- 14:55Speaker 3: tax you, and then we want to tax the taxes
- 14:57Speaker 3: that we've taxed, and then we want to tax you
- 14:59Speaker 3: when you die, and then we want to tax some
- 15:01Speaker 3: money that we already tax when you leave it to
- 15:03Speaker 3: your errors. I mean, it's so it's so egregious.
- 15:07Speaker 1: But you talk to.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Someone like Angie Nixon, she doesn't know any of this stuff.
- 15:11Speaker 3: That's clear because the real answer would say, well, first,
- 15:14Speaker 3: we're going to have to do a detailed analysis of
- 15:17Speaker 3: the current Medicare system to truly understand who is involved,
- 15:21Speaker 3: who is already on Medicare, and then figure out what
- 15:24Speaker 3: we have left in the budget and who we can cover,
- 15:27Speaker 3: and how we're going to change the pay scale of
- 15:29Speaker 3: what we do with our partners across all of these
- 15:32Speaker 3: various offices throughout the country. So we have to take
- 15:36Speaker 3: a deep dive and look at this. Oh and then
- 15:38Speaker 3: once I do that deep dive, I'm going to find
- 15:40Speaker 3: out that there's no way for me to offer Medicare
- 15:43Speaker 3: for all because there's far too many people that shouldn't
- 15:46Speaker 3: be on it that are on it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's kind of like when you talk to people. I
- 15:49Speaker 1: tell this story a lot, and it's a true story.
- 15:51Speaker 3: But I had a friend of a family, you know,
- 15:54Speaker 3: like a family member, but like they were a friend,
- 15:56Speaker 3: and she was on welfare, and she was an old person,
- 16:00Speaker 3: and I said, how come you're own welfare? Like you're good,
- 16:03Speaker 3: like you could work. You could have worked your whole life.
- 16:06Speaker 3: And she was like, yeah, but you know, I got
- 16:08Speaker 3: divorced and I had the kids, and I didn't have
- 16:10Speaker 3: enough money, and so I went into you know, government housing,
- 16:13Speaker 3: and that was great because I didn't have to pay
- 16:14Speaker 3: for it, and then you know, the kids were in
- 16:16Speaker 3: public schools, so don't have to pay for it. And
- 16:18Speaker 3: then I was getting food stamps so I didn't have
- 16:20Speaker 3: to pay for it. And if I went to work
- 16:22Speaker 3: and I tried to earn any of that money, they
- 16:24Speaker 3: would have taken away my free money. And I was like,
- 16:27Speaker 3: what's free money. She's like, you know, like food stamps
- 16:31Speaker 3: and welfare checks and all that stuff, like you know,
- 16:33Speaker 3: it's all free. I'm like, it's not free. It's all
- 16:35Speaker 3: the other people that are working, paying into the system
- 16:38Speaker 3: so that you can live off of what they do
- 16:40Speaker 3: and how they work. Don't you want to be a
- 16:43Speaker 3: part of a working society and make money and do
- 16:46Speaker 3: all the things, Like, isn't that where you want to be?
- 16:49Speaker 3: She was like, well, no, because if I work too much,
- 16:51Speaker 3: I'm going to make too much money, They're going to
- 16:52Speaker 3: take away all my benefits. And I was like, oh
- 16:55Speaker 3: my god, okay, I mean that is the current mindset
- 17:00Speaker 3: of the dependent society, right, like government says, let me
- 17:04Speaker 3: help you. Because if you're leaning on the government, guess
- 17:07Speaker 3: who you're not leaning on yourself. You're not independent. You're
- 17:11Speaker 3: not working on you. You're not working on anything that
- 17:14Speaker 3: has to do with growing you for who you are.
- 17:17Speaker 3: We're getting ahead any of that. It is so frightening
- 17:21Speaker 3: to me that people believe that it's free money. How
- 17:25Speaker 3: many times have you heard that? And it's funny, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 3: I saw this. I'm actually gonna flip this in really
- 17:30Speaker 3: quick here. This isn't a piece of audio, but it
- 17:32Speaker 3: was something that I read today and I thought it
- 17:35Speaker 3: was so great. This guy put it up on X.
- 17:39Speaker 3: You guys know how much I love X and He
- 17:41Speaker 3: was talking about his son, who teaches ninth grade, and
- 17:46Speaker 3: his name is Georgia red Clay. The handle is legal
- 17:49Speaker 3: Legal fifty two. I just love everything about this, but
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm going to read this to you. It's pretty great.
- 17:54Speaker 1: He says.
- 17:55Speaker 3: My son is a ninth grade teacher, and today he
- 17:57Speaker 3: gave his students three options for their grades for the semester.
- 18:01Speaker 3: The first option he called capitalism. Each kid gets whatever
- 18:05Speaker 3: grade they earn based on effort and merit. They are
- 18:08Speaker 3: all taught and tested in the same manner.
- 18:11Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:12Speaker 3: The second option was socialism. They are all taught and
- 18:15Speaker 3: tested in the same manner. All the grades are gathered
- 18:18Speaker 3: at the end, and then he takes points away from
- 18:20Speaker 3: the achieving students and gives them to the ones who
- 18:22Speaker 3: are struggling to lift them up, bringing the achieving student
- 18:24Speaker 3: grades down. And the third option was communism. He figures
- 18:28Speaker 3: out what each kid is capable of, makes them work
- 18:31Speaker 3: according to the ability level.
- 18:33Speaker 1: He determines.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Some get easy classes and tests, others get very difficult ones,
- 18:37Speaker 3: and at the end he hands out the exact same
- 18:39Speaker 3: grade to everybody, no matter how they performed. So of
- 18:43Speaker 3: course everybody starts freaking out. They're like, oh my god,
- 18:46Speaker 3: that's amazing. Some people are like, how can your son
- 18:47Speaker 3: teach this? Blah blah blah, And so they said they
- 18:51Speaker 3: were trying to figure out, like, you know, so what
- 18:53Speaker 3: was the answer, Like what did the kids pick? And
- 18:56Speaker 3: this one guy writes and he says, if I know, kids,
- 19:00Speaker 3: the ones that didn't want to do anything picked socialism
- 19:03Speaker 3: and communism, and every kid that works hard voted for capitalism.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And the father said, you're exactly right. So even then,
- 19:10Speaker 3: this idea, right, like, these kids are in ninth grade,
- 19:14Speaker 3: they're blessed to actually get a conservative teacher that is
- 19:16Speaker 3: putting forth their ideas and the agendas of those ideas
- 19:19Speaker 3: so that they can make an informed decision, right, Because
- 19:21Speaker 3: that's what we come back to from the very beginning
- 19:23Speaker 3: of the show today is like people are actually ignorant.
- 19:26Speaker 3: They don't even know what they're talking about, but.
- 19:28Speaker 1: They'll talk anyway.
- 19:30Speaker 3: And everybody's afraid to say I don't know, which is
- 19:32Speaker 3: another massive problem. But again, it's this idea of Karen
- 19:37Speaker 3: basketting six to one. Nobody's raising an eyebround, nobody thinks
- 19:40Speaker 3: that's weird. This woman can't, you know, finish the sentence
- 19:45Speaker 3: cannot answer the question about how she's going to pay
- 19:48Speaker 3: for Medicare for all.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Because she doesn't know.
- 19:50Speaker 3: She actually doesn't know, and she can't say she doesn't
- 19:53Speaker 3: know because she's going around saying she's going to do it.
- 19:56Speaker 3: So if you're saying you're going to do it, then
- 19:58Speaker 3: the idea is that you probably should have. I've had
- 20:00Speaker 3: a little bit of thought process into saying, Hey, I'm
- 20:02Speaker 3: gonna do this, like I'm gonna make you a chocolate
- 20:05Speaker 3: cake for your birthday. Well, if you say that, then
- 20:08Speaker 3: I would think that the onus is on you to
- 20:09Speaker 3: make that cake. And then hopefully you have a recipe
- 20:12Speaker 3: and you know how to make a cake. You know,
- 20:14Speaker 3: this one has never made a chocolate cake, clearly, So okay,
- 20:17Speaker 3: this is Angie Nixon talking about drag shows for kids.
- 20:25Speaker 6: Yes, I don't understand, Like there's no sexualization at a
- 20:30Speaker 6: drag show. It's just people dressing up and singing and performing.
- 20:33Speaker 6: I've taken my children to drag shows.
- 20:37Speaker 7: And it's fun, it's entertainment, it's wholesome entertainment, and it's
- 20:41Speaker 7: nothing wrong.
- 20:42Speaker 8: It's just.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Like I don't I don't get it. I don't get it.
- 20:49Speaker 1: So she literally just.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Said that drag shows there's nothing sexual going on.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Ma'am.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I do not know what kind of show you have
- 21:00Speaker 3: been to, but drag shows are always sexual in nature.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Drag shows are always people wearing the most ridiculous and
- 21:12Speaker 3: salacious of costumes. These are not you know, these are
- 21:18Speaker 3: not people that are at peace with coming out and performing.
- 21:22Speaker 3: They're not dressing up like the Wizard of Oz or
- 21:25Speaker 3: Daffy Duck or Mickey Mouse. These are men dressing up
- 21:31Speaker 3: in gender affirming clothing like chicks. And they got all
- 21:37Speaker 3: this makeup on, and it's not normal makeup. It's scary
- 21:40Speaker 3: freaking makeup. I gotta say, I really don't understand the
- 21:43Speaker 3: whole drag queen makeup thing. It is some scary shit,
- 21:46Speaker 3: Like is there a reason why you have to look
- 21:49Speaker 3: like that? Like it's not I'm uncomfortable looking at it.
- 21:52Speaker 3: But it's always this very exaggerated you know.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Look, the clothes are always tight.
- 22:01Speaker 3: They are always doing very sort of almost like burlesque
- 22:06Speaker 3: type of stuff, you know, very sexual in nature. And
- 22:09Speaker 3: for her to say that it's not sexual in nature
- 22:12Speaker 3: that she takes her kids there, I'm like, why do
- 22:15Speaker 3: you take your kids there? Was Paul patrol not available?
- 22:20Speaker 3: Are they not able to go to the park? I
- 22:22Speaker 3: mean where on the playdate schedule where you're like, yes,
- 22:25Speaker 3: drag shows, definitely got to get that one in.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I don't understand.
- 22:30Speaker 3: It's the same idea as if I took, you know,
- 22:33Speaker 3: my sons to a strip bar, and my support and
- 22:39Speaker 3: defense of that decision to take my young boys there
- 22:43Speaker 3: would be well, they're just dancers.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I mean they're really artistic.
- 22:47Speaker 3: You know, really truly are to especially when their boobs
- 22:51Speaker 3: are completely out. I mean that's when they really strike
- 22:54Speaker 3: the high note.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That's insane. When you have a man coming towards a child, sick.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Foot four, he's wearing platform heels, he's got lipstick around
- 23:03Speaker 3: his face like it got attacked by a clown. He's
- 23:06Speaker 3: got a fake boop set on you. Why does your
- 23:09Speaker 3: child need to see this? What about that says yes,
- 23:12Speaker 3: bring me children. I'm sorry, I do not understand this.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I cannot believe that people think this is okay. I've
- 23:20Speaker 3: seen people take their kids and these things and they're
- 23:22Speaker 3: putting dollar bills in the jockstrap that's right, the jockstrap
- 23:28Speaker 3: of the man pretending to be a woman. I mean,
- 23:31Speaker 3: the kid's gotta be sitting there going How am I
- 23:32Speaker 3: doing here?
- 23:34Speaker 1: Is there any like?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Do I have any army guys or some Barbie dolls?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Or is there a bike I can ride?
- 23:39Speaker 5: Like? I?
- 23:39Speaker 3: Oh god, it's so frustrating. How screwed up these kids
- 23:44Speaker 3: are gonna be because their parents are so interested in
- 23:48Speaker 3: bringing them into their world of sick But you can't
- 23:51Speaker 3: leave the damn kids alone. I cannot understand why people
- 23:55Speaker 3: think that it is okay to hurt kids or to
- 23:58Speaker 3: hurt animals. Just I don't freaking get it. Man. Okay,
- 24:03Speaker 3: this is my last Angie Nixon cut. As you can
- 24:05Speaker 3: clearly see, she gets me pretty pissed off.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Some of the agenda includes things that have been controversial,
- 24:12Speaker 5: things you did not name, by the way, and what
- 24:14Speaker 5: is most important to you and the voters of Florida,
- 24:17Speaker 5: including defunding police or abolishing prisons, because.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Those are part of the platform.
- 24:23Speaker 5: The DSA officially agenda has talked about do you support
- 24:26Speaker 5: those or want to be distanced from those in people's consideration.
- 24:30Speaker 7: So I want to be clear there are things that
- 24:32Speaker 7: are a part of the democratic clearly platform. Since Hakien
- 24:37Speaker 7: Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are not supportive of Medicare for All,
- 24:42Speaker 7: which should be a right for folks to have access
- 24:45Speaker 7: to quality health care. I want to abolish for profit
- 24:49Speaker 7: prisons because I believe right now people aren't educating our children,
- 24:53Speaker 7: and they're usshering them into the school to prison pipeline
- 24:56Speaker 7: because they want to exploit labor. They're enhancing penalties because
- 25:00Speaker 7: they want cheap labor. And so those are some of
- 25:03Speaker 7: the things that I am supportive of.
- 25:06Speaker 3: So you want to stop prisons because you think that
- 25:10Speaker 3: they're using them.
- 25:11Speaker 1: For cheap labor. What I Oh, here's what.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I want to know. Have you been to one of
- 25:20Speaker 3: these prisons that you want to close? Have you visited
- 25:23Speaker 3: and met with the staff there. Have you talked to
- 25:26Speaker 3: the person that is in charge of said prison that
- 25:28Speaker 3: you want to shut down? Have you met with the
- 25:30Speaker 3: people that are in the prisons? You know Jack Brewer,
- 25:34Speaker 3: who's an amazing, amazing guy, great friend, great patriot. He
- 25:40Speaker 3: runs a whole program where he goes into prisons and
- 25:42Speaker 3: he meets and rehabilitates people, and he'll tell your first
- 25:46Speaker 3: hand there are people who belong in prison, and then
- 25:48Speaker 3: there are other people who don't. And you'll know right
- 25:52Speaker 3: away which one of those people you're meeting with when
- 25:55Speaker 3: you go in, and the idea that they just go
- 25:58Speaker 3: in with this like general of yeah, I want to
- 26:01Speaker 3: shut down all the prisons these four it's it's for
- 26:04Speaker 3: cheap labor.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not what's happening.
- 26:06Speaker 3: That's it's actually really insane that people say things like this,
- 26:13Speaker 3: particularly in light of the amount of people and the
- 26:16Speaker 3: recidivism rate and how people go in and out of
- 26:20Speaker 3: prison because they keep committing more crimes. It's not like
- 26:23Speaker 3: they come out of prison and then they're like, you
- 26:25Speaker 3: know what, I'm gonna turn I'm gonna turn my life around.
- 26:27Speaker 3: I learned a lot that was no good. No, they
- 26:30Speaker 3: commit more crime and they go back in and the
- 26:33Speaker 3: judges are allowing them to do it.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I mean.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Again, it comes down to ignorance. Do your homework, got
- 26:40Speaker 3: put the work in before you make these statements, because
- 26:44Speaker 3: you're just talking points, that's all you are. You know,
- 26:47Speaker 3: these socialists are all young, privileged, elitist pricks whose parents
- 26:54Speaker 3: have money. They don't know what it is to be
- 26:57Speaker 3: a part of the working class. They just talk about it.
- 26:59Speaker 3: There's the whole big thing about this guy from New
- 27:02Speaker 3: York right now, because he goes around touting that he's
- 27:04Speaker 3: a union electrician. Meanwhile, there's no record of him ever
- 27:08Speaker 3: working as an electrician. Nobody has any record of him
- 27:10Speaker 3: on any job. There's one guy out right now, he
- 27:13Speaker 3: says he's in the union. He goes, yeah, this guy
- 27:16Speaker 3: applied for an apprenticeship and he failed, and then he
- 27:18Speaker 3: skipped out on the bills. I mean, this is one
- 27:21Speaker 3: of those things where you're kind of like, we have
- 27:24Speaker 3: hit a wall of so much misinformation that the voter,
- 27:29Speaker 3: the average person out there, is like, I don't even
- 27:32Speaker 3: know what to make heads or tails of what's being
- 27:33Speaker 3: told to me.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I don't blame him. I feel the same exact way.
- 27:38Speaker 3: So Angie Nixon, I pray will lose to Ashley Moody
- 27:44Speaker 3: this November. Now obviously, are feckless and weak and completely spineless.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Republican Party senators have taken five weeks off and are
- 27:56Speaker 3: doing nothing for the month of August, while the rest
- 27:58Speaker 3: of us are working getting our kids ready to go
- 28:01Speaker 3: back to school, getting ready for fall sports, and trying
- 28:05Speaker 3: to survive in an economy and a nation that is
- 28:08Speaker 3: being objectified at every single turn. So while they're all
- 28:12Speaker 3: jerking off on their five weeks trying to figure out
- 28:15Speaker 3: how they're going to get reelected, which actually had a
- 28:17Speaker 3: very simple solution, a very simple, peaceful and logical solution.
- 28:22Speaker 3: It was called, don't take five weeks off, be like
- 28:24Speaker 3: the rest of America, work through the summer and actually
- 28:28Speaker 3: pass the bills and the legislation that matters to the
- 28:33Speaker 3: American people.
- 28:34Speaker 1: But John Dune and his douchebag.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Rhino friends like Cornyn and Tillis and Murkowski and Collins
- 28:41Speaker 3: and all the other scumbags said no, no, no, we
- 28:44Speaker 3: don't want that. So you know what up yours. So anyways,
- 28:47Speaker 3: they're going to lose in November. I have no hope
- 28:50Speaker 3: for them whatsoever because what they've shown us, and I
- 28:55Speaker 3: do believe this is that the Democrats and the Republicans
- 28:58Speaker 3: are the same. There are very few senators and very
- 29:02Speaker 3: few congressmen that actually step out of the status quo
- 29:06Speaker 3: lane of being on Capitol Hill and do their own
- 29:08Speaker 3: thing and march to their own you know, their own beat,
- 29:10Speaker 3: of their own drum. Brandon gill is one, Senator Mike
- 29:14Speaker 3: Lee is one. You know, these are people that are
- 29:17Speaker 3: really towing the line and they're like, no, I'm not
- 29:20Speaker 3: doing that. That's wrong. That's not why I'm here. Pretty
- 29:22Speaker 3: Much everybody else could give a shit less. You know,
- 29:25Speaker 3: they're there, and they're just they make noise when it
- 29:27Speaker 3: works for them, and then the rest of the time
- 29:29Speaker 3: they're quiet, and it's actually super frustrating. So now they're
- 29:32Speaker 3: all on vacation for five weeks and they think they're
- 29:34Speaker 3: going to come back in September and that we're going
- 29:37Speaker 3: to care. I know, I am a staunch conservative. I
- 29:41Speaker 3: am somebody who believes that you know, I'm an equal
- 29:44Speaker 3: opportunity hater. I really do believe in that it doesn't
- 29:47Speaker 3: matter to me what your party line is. It matters
- 29:49Speaker 3: to me if you're four or against America. And what
- 29:52Speaker 3: I have learned from these Republicans is they're against America.
- 29:55Speaker 3: They're not for us, no way. If they were for us,
- 29:58Speaker 3: they would have stayed, they would have worked, they would
- 30:00Speaker 3: have done the right thing. And when I say the
- 30:02Speaker 3: right thing, it means close our borders, get these illegal
- 30:04Speaker 3: immigrants out of our country. No more Haitian coverage, no
- 30:08Speaker 3: more illegal immigrant coverage, no more Somali coverage. Protect our elections,
- 30:12Speaker 3: get election integrity back on track, and knock it off
- 30:16Speaker 3: with the pro forma vot votes against President Trump's nominees
- 30:20Speaker 3: like enough.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But again, they didn't do any of it.
- 30:24Speaker 3: And they think they're going to come back and that
- 30:25Speaker 3: we're going to forget it all, and I hope we
- 30:27Speaker 3: don't and we're going to vote them back in. You know,
- 30:29Speaker 3: what's the difference is absolutely nothing. So now the Democrats
- 30:32Speaker 3: will win. They'll make it a lot worse than the
- 30:34Speaker 3: Republicans made it. But the Republicans weren't doing us any favors, right,
- 30:38Speaker 3: they had control of everything. They did nothing for two years, guys,
- 30:42Speaker 3: they did nothing. President Trump's been in office for almost
- 30:45Speaker 3: two years and these assholes did nothing.
- 30:48Speaker 1: So there's that.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Okay, I have to tell you guys about one other thing,
- 30:52Speaker 3: because this is so insane. There is a guy running
- 30:56Speaker 3: around Philadelphia right now, super weird, wearing a chucky mask
- 31:01Speaker 3: and going up to people. At first, it looked like
- 31:04Speaker 3: he was going after white women, then he included some
- 31:07Speaker 3: black women. Now he's included black and white women, black
- 31:10Speaker 3: and white men. He's going to people walking into other offices.
- 31:13Speaker 3: So it looks like he's just like an equal opportunity shithead,
- 31:16Speaker 3: Like he's like, whoever he sees is gonna go up
- 31:18Speaker 3: to So he's wearing this chucky mask, he's in this
- 31:20Speaker 3: weird sweatshirt, and he's got a backpack on and he
- 31:25Speaker 3: runs up to people. He doesn't have a weapon, it seems,
- 31:28Speaker 3: but he ran up to this girl in Philly. And
- 31:31Speaker 3: I've been following this because it's been going on for
- 31:33Speaker 3: a couple of days. I'm trying to figure out who
- 31:34Speaker 3: the hell this person is and why they're doing what
- 31:36Speaker 3: they're doing, because it's so bizarre. And this girl fought
- 31:40Speaker 3: him off, and she's so funny. You just have to
- 31:42Speaker 3: hear how matter of fact she is about the whole thing.
- 31:45Speaker 9: Jamika says she screamed for help, kicked him in the chest,
- 31:48Speaker 9: and was prepared to try to fight him off.
- 31:50Speaker 8: He just seems so disoriented about what his goals actually were.
- 31:53Speaker 8: Like I had bags, he wasn't reaching for those. It
- 31:56Speaker 8: didn't seem like he had a clear goal to like
- 31:57Speaker 8: actually get a lock alone, to do anything. So I
- 32:00Speaker 8: was like, Okay, well let's see if you can fight it,
- 32:03Speaker 8: and he could.
- 32:03Speaker 9: Police believe the man attempted to antagonize at least six people,
- 32:06Speaker 9: including men and employees at nearby businesses, and indicated he
- 32:10Speaker 9: had a weapon, but witnesses have not reported seeing one.
- 32:13Speaker 9: If Cop Police say the suspect is facing multiple charges,
- 32:16Speaker 9: including terroristic threats, simple assault, and intimidation.
- 32:21Speaker 1: So how weird is this?
- 32:23Speaker 3: The guy's wearing a Chucky mask, black sweatshirt, black sweatpants,
- 32:26Speaker 3: he's got a book bag, nothing on him to identify him.
- 32:30Speaker 3: The only thing you see is that he's black because
- 32:32Speaker 3: his hands are visible, so he has black hands.
- 32:36Speaker 1: That's it.
- 32:37Speaker 3: You can't see anything else about this guy. And I'm like,
- 32:40Speaker 3: what in the world is going on in your life
- 32:44Speaker 3: that you got up and said today I'm gonna wear
- 32:47Speaker 3: a Chucky mask and just scare the shit out of strangers. Like,
- 32:50Speaker 3: but I can't even wrap my head around the thought process. Honestly,
- 32:54Speaker 3: it's just it's a lot of guys, It's a lot.
- 32:57Speaker 3: This has been the Rogue Recap. I hope you've enjoyed
- 33:00Speaker 3: this show as much as I enjoy always talking to you.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Please follow me at Lindamick at Rogue Recap, Rogue recap
- 33:07Speaker 3: dot com. We will be here tomorrow night. I want
- 33:09Speaker 3: to thank you all for listening. Stay safe out there, guys.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Good night,
