- 0:02Speaker 1: for you what this could mean to the market. Let's

- 0:50Speaker 1: go over and kind of lead off here with a
- 0:52Speaker 1: few points I want to get at. Of course, speaking
- 0:55Speaker 1: of gold and silver, gold and silver just wiped out
- 0:57Speaker 1: bitcoin's entire market cap. What we mean by that is
- 1:01Speaker 1: that we saw one of the biggest reversals in commodity history.
- 1:06Speaker 1: And this is in less than four hours, gold and
- 1:08Speaker 1: silver erased one point seven trillion in market values. And
- 1:12Speaker 1: of course I always look at this and know what's
- 1:14Speaker 1: going on. You guys understand this is just games being
- 1:17Speaker 1: played within the market. But does this syndicate or indicate
- 1:21Speaker 1: that we are nearing a top as you look at
- 1:24Speaker 1: what's going on in the market overall with crypto, of course,
- 1:27Speaker 1: you have to look back at where we have been
- 1:30Speaker 1: and if you go all the way back to a
- 1:31Speaker 1: year that high right there, ten to seven before the
- 1:34Speaker 1: big dip four point one four point three trillion, and
- 1:37Speaker 1: here we are hovering right now at around two point
- 1:40Speaker 1: nine trillion, under three trillion dollars. Of course, this means,
- 1:44Speaker 1: guys that are we near the bottom? Is this the
- 1:47Speaker 1: opportunity for crypto, bitcoin, all these digital assets to truly
- 1:51Speaker 1: make a comeback and get in the right place at
- 1:53Speaker 1: the right time. If you look at the history a
- 1:56Speaker 1: little bit surprising. Over the last twelve months, we saw
- 1:59Speaker 1: silver up two hundreds sixty seven percent, gold up eighty four,
- 2:02Speaker 1: copper up thirty eight, NASDAQ twenty two s and p
- 2:06Speaker 1: sixteen percent on the S and P five hundred. That
- 2:10Speaker 1: is unbelievable in these market conditions of what we're seeing
- 2:13Speaker 1: right now. Market is going strong, and of course we've
- 2:16Speaker 1: continue to see the Trump administration talk about this is
- 2:19Speaker 1: that they think this is still the golden years are
- 2:22Speaker 1: yet to come. Maybe they see something with of course
- 2:25Speaker 1: crypto coming in. But Tom Lee has another take on
- 2:30Speaker 1: the commodities.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Take a look, and as you know, like when you
- 2:33Speaker 2: look at extensions like this, it's dangerous to fade it
- 2:37Speaker 2: because you don't know how long it will go. But
- 2:40Speaker 2: you're right, a parabolic move hobly marks the end of
- 2:44Speaker 2: the move, not the beginning of the move. So it's
- 2:46Speaker 2: a good question of timing. But it sure seems like commodities,
- 2:50Speaker 2: especially precious metals, needs to have a place in people's portfolios.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And it's hard to tell how much of it is
- 2:55Speaker 2: geopolitical uncertainty, dollar in current weakness versus dubbish central banks.
- 3:02Speaker 2: But maybe if it's all three, that explains why gold's
- 3:06Speaker 2: done so well. I don't think that those are bad
- 3:09Speaker 2: for equities because if this is anticipating dollar weakness or
- 3:12Speaker 2: more dubbish moves by central banks, then it's good for
- 3:15Speaker 2: asset prices, So I almost think the goal move could
- 3:18Speaker 2: be sort of a glimpse into sort of risk app
- 3:21Speaker 2: tite growing for stocks. The tariff headwinds disappearing. But now
- 3:26Speaker 2: if we have dollar weakness, I think it puts more
- 3:28Speaker 2: upside to the earning story. Investors aren't necessarily paying for
- 3:32Speaker 2: that right now because multiples have been compressing, but I
- 3:35Speaker 2: think it really helps anchor stocks. So between now and
- 3:39Speaker 2: the end of the year, I think there can be
- 3:40Speaker 2: a lot of reasons for speed bumps, but I think
- 3:42Speaker 2: as we exit the year, the earning story is anchoring
- 3:46Speaker 2: i'd say, upside to our seventy seven hundred target.
- 3:49Speaker 1: All right, let's take a look at bitcoin silver real quick,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and you can kind of see it is at a
- 3:54Speaker 1: very pivotal point right here, holding in our one point
- 3:58Speaker 1: three ninety seven And if you look back at some
- 4:01Speaker 1: of the other pivotal points from all the way back
- 4:03Speaker 1: to twenty twenty one, where we saw that bottom come
- 4:06Speaker 1: in around the end of December or of twenty twenty two,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and then of course of skyrocketing and bitcoin, maybe that's
- 4:12Speaker 1: where we are right now. When you look at where
- 4:14Speaker 1: silver is, do we get that rotation of capital. The
- 4:18Speaker 1: question is if you overlay the value of the Dixie
- 4:22Speaker 1: on top of this, take a look at that, because
- 4:24Speaker 1: this is something that we haven't seen in correlation to
- 4:27Speaker 1: the dollar value in sometime. And remember the lowest trend
- 4:31Speaker 1: that we saw on the dollar was all the way
- 4:32Speaker 1: back to twenty and eight. Twenty one was another dip
- 4:35Speaker 1: that we saw, but we haven't come back to that
- 4:37Speaker 1: level yet. So it is something that I think will
- 4:40Speaker 1: continually push assets up, especially in this environment. Here is
- 4:45Speaker 1: Mohammed coming in from CNBC. He basically says, contrast continues
- 4:49Speaker 1: between relatively comm markets in Asian trading. Yet more economic
- 4:53Speaker 1: news with the US increasing tariffs on South Korea to
- 4:55Speaker 1: twenty five percent. This came off of one hundred percent
- 4:59Speaker 1: threat and and of course right after that, Korea says, well,
- 5:02Speaker 1: wait a minute, hold my beer. The market just absolutely bound,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you know, because you have Trump doing these swings of
- 5:10Speaker 1: going from one hundred percent and the market has hit
- 5:12Speaker 1: and then there's traders out there, but you've got to
- 5:14Speaker 1: be able to kind of see where this is heading.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And Korea of course started to take a little bit
- 5:19Speaker 1: of that all on taco, which is trumpeting checking out
- 5:22Speaker 1: on some of these executions. I want to go to
- 5:24Speaker 1: another clip real quick. This one, of course, is talking
- 5:27Speaker 1: about is this good for investors or traders when you
- 5:31Speaker 1: have these kind of market swings like this. Take a look,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it's everyday Taco Tuesday.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Now suddenly everyone's no longer is worried by these tiff threats. Now,
- 5:40Speaker 3: it's really important before Bill get too carried away that Hey,
- 5:43Speaker 3: wait a second, if twenty five percent tariffs on Korea
- 5:46Speaker 3: got a two point seven percent game, what would happen
- 5:47Speaker 3: if they got one hundredercent TIFFs? We need to emphasize
- 5:50Speaker 3: that the extraordinary gaining costme here was really because the
- 5:53Speaker 3: market is very much dominated by a couple of stocks,
- 5:55Speaker 3: and one of them is sk Highnecks, which surged today. Therefore,
- 5:59Speaker 3: that kind of points that's the fact that the AI
- 6:01Speaker 3: theme is still ultimately what's really driving everything in markets
- 6:05Speaker 3: over the last year, not so much the geopolitical noise.
- 6:08Speaker 3: The geopolitical noise causes all the disruption, and that's what
- 6:11Speaker 3: traders need to care about. But for long term investors,
- 6:14Speaker 3: they need to care about the AI theme, and that's
- 6:16Speaker 3: what's driving the cost b All.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Right, so you've got it there, this is something that's
- 6:22Speaker 1: really good. I think, well, if you're playing it as
- 6:24Speaker 1: a trader, you could get easily stopped out on trades
- 6:27Speaker 1: quickly with these kind of rash decisions that are coming
- 6:30Speaker 1: out of the White House that affect major global markets.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But if you look at this long term, I think
- 6:36Speaker 1: a lot of players and investors are saying, let it
- 6:39Speaker 1: settle down. See what happens in thirty days, sixty days,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and that is something that starts to benefit you because
- 6:46Speaker 1: holding assets what we've already seen and just showed you
- 6:49Speaker 1: guys pretty consistent right now in the standard markets. If
- 6:53Speaker 1: you look also into how does this affect other countries, well,
- 6:57Speaker 1: coming out of Davos, we started to see a lot
- 6:59Speaker 1: of activity. This was one of them. These were details
- 7:02Speaker 1: of a historic trade deal between the India and the
- 7:04Speaker 1: EU have emerged. Remember the EU and India we're never
- 7:09Speaker 1: really big trading partners. They have been working on this
- 7:12Speaker 1: deal for a very long time and now the EU
- 7:15Speaker 1: is looking at it. We're going to open this up
- 7:18Speaker 1: wide open. This is going to bring a lot of
- 7:20Speaker 1: goods and services into the EU from India. This of
- 7:24Speaker 1: course could be good for that portion, but I think
- 7:26Speaker 1: this again is still one of those scenarios where the
- 7:28Speaker 1: EU is really trying to do everything they can to
- 7:31Speaker 1: stay relevant in the global stage. This is a good
- 7:34Speaker 1: thing because it partners with one of the big powers. Overall,
- 7:38Speaker 1: We'll see how it comes together other things. You got
- 7:41Speaker 1: to have to kind of look at Donald Trump deserves
- 7:42Speaker 1: some of the credit on this. With his adventurism. He
- 7:46Speaker 1: is now pushing a lot of people into deals like this,
- 7:49Speaker 1: which of course is what we're talking about here. Does
- 7:52Speaker 1: it alienate allies? It's still yet to be determined. I
- 7:57Speaker 1: think the key here is the United States still is
- 8:00Speaker 1: the global power that a lot of people are trying
- 8:02Speaker 1: to coordinate with. It's still one of the best, if
- 8:05Speaker 1: not the best markets in the world. It has the
- 8:08Speaker 1: most innovation. The key here is can it hold it?
- 8:12Speaker 1: And what is Trump's strategy going forward? Because this gets
- 8:15Speaker 1: into some very global shifts that are occurring. If you
- 8:19Speaker 1: think about it. Now, let's take a look at what
- 8:22Speaker 1: this might impact in terms of the dollar. This is
- 8:24Speaker 1: the US dollar potentially dumping hard, and there's a little
- 8:28Speaker 1: bit of issues that are happening where we've seen these
- 8:32Speaker 1: rate checks. Of course, always coming out of the stress
- 8:34Speaker 1: that we've seen with the Japanese yen. But here's something
- 8:38Speaker 1: that was new and that is DIMF also confirmed that
- 8:41Speaker 1: it has now stress testing scenarios where there's rapid sell
- 8:44Speaker 1: off of dollar assets, treasuries, and now even going to
- 8:48Speaker 1: the level of the unthinkable events. So if we saw
- 8:51Speaker 1: a fast exit on the dollar, what could that look
- 8:54Speaker 1: like globally? If you look at how much the dollar
- 8:57Speaker 1: has really accelerated over the last few years. I'll go
- 9:01Speaker 1: to the Dixie right here. Let's go all the way
- 9:03Speaker 1: down here from two thousand and twenty eleven, and if
- 9:07Speaker 1: you look at the just the amount of movement that
- 9:10Speaker 1: we've seen on the dollar all the way to the top,
- 9:12Speaker 1: almost fifty five percent. But right there is a good
- 9:14Speaker 1: example of where it's trading right now for the Dixie.
- 9:18Speaker 1: There's a lot of room here yet to come into
- 9:21Speaker 1: that bottom that we saw in twenty twenty one. That
- 9:24Speaker 1: of course starts to push assets into the right zone,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and of course we all know what that means. Risk
- 9:29Speaker 1: assets will be one of the biggest opportunities. So when
- 9:32Speaker 1: you think about that the dollar debasing, I won't see
- 9:35Speaker 1: debasing devaluing. You look at the stronger play that's going
- 9:38Speaker 1: into assets. Black rocket course is now kind of backtracking
- 9:42Speaker 1: on this, saying that maybe this is the opportunity to
- 9:45Speaker 1: go ahead and buy up on bitcoin because there's an
- 9:48Speaker 1: opportunity of rotation here. We've already seen the explosion on
- 9:50Speaker 1: silver and gold. All of this could play right into
- 9:54Speaker 1: the cards of this is the bottom and if it were,
- 9:58Speaker 1: if this is near the bottom or at the bottom,
- 10:01Speaker 1: what kind of reversal could we see into risk assets
- 10:04Speaker 1: When you look at the size of these markets, asset
- 10:08Speaker 1: owners are going to be the winners out there. And
- 10:11Speaker 1: look at the ones that have been winning gold. There's
- 10:14Speaker 1: XAU right there, silver, copper, crude oil, a lot of
- 10:17Speaker 1: the commodities have been absolutely killing it just in the
- 10:21Speaker 1: last few days, but not only in the last year.
- 10:24Speaker 1: All right, so let's go over to WEF and Davos.
- 10:28Speaker 1: This of course all finished up the global stage. You
- 10:31Speaker 1: had Trump and all of his cronies over there basically
- 10:36Speaker 1: telling the EU and the rest of the world what
- 10:38Speaker 1: we're going to do, and of course there's been some
- 10:41Speaker 1: pushback on that. I think the financial markets have been
- 10:43Speaker 1: part of that. Here's a clip that kind of explains
- 10:46Speaker 1: why we're seeing what we're seeing. Take a look.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I feel like we have a pre Davos market and
- 10:52Speaker 4: a post Davos market. Pre Davos, everybody's all bulled up.
- 10:56Speaker 4: It's hard to find a bear just about anywhere. Now
- 11:00Speaker 4: we're talking about renewed volatility, the sell America trade, Gold's
- 11:04Speaker 4: continuing to ramp the dollars week Still, what do I
- 11:07Speaker 4: do with that?
- 11:08Speaker 5: I think one of the most important things that came
- 11:10Speaker 5: out of Davos that was a change in language was
- 11:13Speaker 5: going from deglobalization to now the phrase New World Order.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Deglobalizing felt a little more like conscious uncoupling, and new
- 11:21Speaker 5: World Order has a much harsher tone to it, which
- 11:24Speaker 5: means that the urgency around reimagining supply chains, partnerships, and
- 11:29Speaker 5: frankly advancing AI and automation manufacturing here in the United States,
- 11:33Speaker 5: along with the dollar that's now lower because I think
- 11:35Speaker 5: even more urgent, and the emergence I believe is moving
- 11:40Speaker 5: away from the mag seven into what I'm calling the magnificent.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Thematics and if you follow these thematics of new World Order,
- 11:47Speaker 5: of AI, automation, innovation, longevity, and not necessarily moving to cash.
- 11:53Speaker 5: There's a convergence between corporate spending and government spending in
- 11:57Speaker 5: the AI space. It's so powerful. This is not like
- 12:00Speaker 5: the early two thousand when it was sort of the
- 12:02Speaker 5: domain land rush for beer dot com. You know, I
- 12:04Speaker 5: think these comparisons to the early Internet just once again
- 12:08Speaker 5: do not hold true.
- 12:10Speaker 1: All Right, so comparisons here, I think, you know what
- 12:13Speaker 1: she's talking about is the fact that the United States
- 12:17Speaker 1: kind of came in and staked down a statement that
- 12:20Speaker 1: this was a decoupling. This of course created those trigger
- 12:23Speaker 1: events that we saw with the EU and India, but
- 12:27Speaker 1: there's going to be many more. And you know, you've
- 12:28Speaker 1: heard Carne even talk about this new world order. A
- 12:31Speaker 1: lot of these major especially the G seven, are starting
- 12:35Speaker 1: to try to figure out where do we land. All
- 12:38Speaker 1: of this is going to kind of fall back on
- 12:39Speaker 1: the Monroe doctrine, very similar to what was happening back then,
- 12:43Speaker 1: which was this I will say isolationism. But it definitely
- 12:47Speaker 1: starts to go into this hemispheric model. And this is
- 12:51Speaker 1: something Trump also talked about here recently when he was
- 12:54Speaker 1: compiling a lot of South American countries and looking at
- 12:58Speaker 1: what we are, and that is the West Hemisphere. So
- 13:01Speaker 1: this is intriguing because it does start to establish new
- 13:04Speaker 1: world order. There's going to be some big winners in
- 13:07Speaker 1: the eastern regions. Obviously in the Pacific Rim. We're going
- 13:12Speaker 1: to see big winners here in Middle America and what
- 13:15Speaker 1: we'll see, you know, within Central America and the growth
- 13:19Speaker 1: of the United States, and then you're going to have
- 13:21Speaker 1: the eastern blocks that are going to grow outside of
- 13:23Speaker 1: what the EU is. So it's a very very interesting
- 13:26Speaker 1: time because power plays are being made right now. Speaking
- 13:30Speaker 1: of that, you've got Wall Street making these power plays.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And this, of course was Moregan Stanley saying, wait, we
- 13:36Speaker 1: need a head of Digital assets. This pushes more awareness
- 13:40Speaker 1: into blockchain. Everybody's going to be using this. All the
- 13:43Speaker 1: banks are going to be using this. It is just
- 13:45Speaker 1: a matter of time. Here's, of course Bitwise saying hey,
- 13:49Speaker 1: don't worry about it. We think this new world order
- 13:51Speaker 1: is going to operate on ETH. And if you look
- 13:54Speaker 1: at all of the growth that we're starting to see
- 13:56Speaker 1: right here, the number of public companies that are holding
- 13:58Speaker 1: ETH increase forty percent. That's right now, while we have
- 14:02Speaker 1: no clarity. Imagine if clarity comes together in the United
- 14:06Speaker 1: States and what that might look like. Eighth corporations account
- 14:09Speaker 1: for five percent of eight holdings. We've already seen what
- 14:11Speaker 1: Tom Lee is doing and what he's trying to do,
- 14:14Speaker 1: which is mainstreaming EVE through his partnership with mister Beast.
- 14:18Speaker 1: A lot of things brewing right now. Now where does
- 14:20Speaker 1: this put central banks? Well, here's a clip to talk
- 14:24Speaker 1: about that. Take a look.
- 14:25Speaker 6: So just remember that the banks want CBDCs and control
- 14:29Speaker 6: over what corporations can and can't do with them. But
- 14:32Speaker 6: they also have some competition and their biggest competitor is
- 14:36Speaker 6: the crypto lobby. Now, the crypto lobby is challenging the banks,
- 14:39Speaker 6: and what the crypto people want is fair competition because
- 14:44Speaker 6: in a fair game, crypto wins. Crypto knows that, and
- 14:48Speaker 6: the banks know that. And I think you can tell
- 14:50Speaker 6: that from this conversation between Larry Fink and Christine Leguard,
- 14:54Speaker 6: which she drops a hint that central banks might not
- 14:58Speaker 6: always be around.
- 14:59Speaker 7: So I'm not going to tell you that there is
- 15:00Speaker 7: a red line. I'm not going to tell you that
- 15:02Speaker 7: central banks will always be around either. Speak to what
- 15:05Speaker 7: you did do You just said something very interesting. You
- 15:07Speaker 7: think to speak more to it.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Not to the idea that central banks might not always
- 15:12Speaker 4: be around.
- 15:13Speaker 6: What do you know?
- 15:14Speaker 7: I like that? Look I went through my lot of crisis,
- 15:17Speaker 7: as many of you have as well. And I remember
- 15:19Speaker 7: the days when it was mentioned that, you know, central
- 15:22Speaker 7: bankers are the only game in town. This is not
- 15:24Speaker 7: the right approach to a balanced and durable equilibrium.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So what happens next is the question. I think if
- 15:31Speaker 1: you look at bitcoin where it has what's treading at
- 15:34Speaker 1: eighty eight as we record this right now and some change,
- 15:38Speaker 1: you look at bitcoin versus gold, and yeah, the chart
- 15:42Speaker 1: looks broken, especially if you kind of consider but if
- 15:44Speaker 1: you zoom out and you kind of look at bitcoin
- 15:46Speaker 1: versus goal over history, it's a little different story. And
- 15:49Speaker 1: here's Raoul talking about that. You can barely see the
- 15:52Speaker 1: recent gold out performance over bitcoin. Now, remember this is
- 15:55Speaker 1: a log chart, so it moves looks less dramatic, But
- 15:59Speaker 1: that's the point, is that maybe there is a play here.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Now.
- 16:02Speaker 1: It's also to the point that we have not seen
- 16:04Speaker 1: these kind of highs before with gold and silver. Is
- 16:08Speaker 1: this and this of course has been discovery price zones
- 16:10Speaker 1: that we have never seen. So it's very possible that
- 16:13Speaker 1: we could see the beginning of an era around precious metals. Again,
- 16:17Speaker 1: we've had those before. So that's the one caveat I
- 16:20Speaker 1: would place within this. But when you look at it
- 16:23Speaker 1: from twenty twenty two peak gold down forty seven percent
- 16:26Speaker 1: versus bitcoin, and from twenty nineteen peak gold, it's down
- 16:30Speaker 1: eighty five percent bitcoin. So think about that. Granted at
- 16:33Speaker 1: that time it had never seen those highs, but it
- 16:36Speaker 1: had not seen those highest prior to that either. So
- 16:39Speaker 1: just interesting days right now, guys, we are very very
- 16:43Speaker 1: intriguing in terms of how the markets are playing out.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So where's bitcoin? Silver price is now outperforming bitcoin, one
- 16:49Speaker 1: of their wildest margins on record. You've seen it, and
- 16:52Speaker 1: of course we saw the crazy manipulation if you want
- 16:56Speaker 1: to call it that where silver was. But in thirteen months,
- 16:59Speaker 1: silver'sup tw hundred seven twenty percent and bitcoin is down eleven.
