- 0:16Speaker 1: I lost my voice. There wasn't that nice? Hey, everybody, Well,
- 0:20Speaker 1: I just watch everybody.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Back to one.
- 0:24Speaker 1: All right, Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's pap
- 0:29Speaker 1: and Bravo Thursday. I've got Doug been here. I did
- 0:32Speaker 1: have a little happening right as I was about to
- 0:34Speaker 1: say hello to Doug. Doug and I have spent the
- 0:37Speaker 1: last ten minutes talking about pill sorders and trying to
- 0:42Speaker 1: get your office in order. And you know, that's just
- 0:45Speaker 1: what you do when you're elderly. You just talk about.
- 0:48Speaker 2: This is it when we're this is the age.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I said to Mary, paying like, the most exciting thing
- 0:54Speaker 3: is that I bought socks that have tread, so.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I don't Yeah.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Yeah, And I got a chic pill case.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I tell you, I've fallen for these chic pillcases before
- 1:05Speaker 1: it and they come and either they're like metal, and
- 1:08Speaker 1: I'm like, that's not going to work for my aesthetic.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I like the one that you showed me, so once
- 1:13Speaker 1: once it arrives, I'll take a picture and I'll post
- 1:15Speaker 1: it and say thank you to Doug. Because Doug introduced
- 1:17Speaker 1: me to this.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Well, I googled like best or coolest pillcases, and this
- 1:22Speaker 3: was the reco of the interweb.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So okay, okay, I like it that you showed it
- 1:28Speaker 1: to me. I like it. This is what you do, everybody.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So we're going to talk about the Salt Lake City
- 1:34Speaker 1: reunion mostly, Okay, have you been watching Potona because I
- 1:39Speaker 1: have not? You have? I feel bad. It is the
- 1:43Speaker 1: people in my area, but that's sort of lost interest.
- 1:47Speaker 3: It's sort of local. I don't know, really, I don't
- 1:50Speaker 3: know why. People, But what is it that you're not liking.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I've been enjoying it. I mean that there I love
- 1:56Speaker 3: a cast trip and they're on a trip now, and
- 1:58Speaker 3: that's you know, continuing. There was crossover with Mauricio, and
- 2:03Speaker 3: I'm enjoying it.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I think I love some of the original cast. With
- 2:08Speaker 1: some of these new people, I just don't feel a connection.
- 2:11Speaker 2: With it takes sometimes you can't remember who.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Is whom and what the story is.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and Tia, I couldn't remember who had been changing
- 2:22Speaker 2: her pictures. You know that we saw a few weeks ago. Whatever.
- 2:26Speaker 2: So now I feel like for me, each person has
- 2:30Speaker 2: been defined. I sort of I know. Okay, yeah, but
- 2:35Speaker 2: I've been.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'll catch I'll catch up at the reunion. Beverly Hills.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I assume those are your local people. You've been watching.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yes, of course I've been watching. And again I feel
- 2:46Speaker 3: like that's also getting a lot of criticism. But maybe
- 2:49Speaker 3: I'm just such a loser. I mean, I'm fine with it.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I really There are there are shows that I don't watch.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I don't watch, you know, like this, so I'm not
- 2:59Speaker 3: I don't look at the critic so some of them,
- 3:00Speaker 3: but the watch I don't know.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I feel like they're fine.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've seen criticism of Beverly Hills as well, but I'm
- 3:07Speaker 1: the same way. I'm like, Okay, I'm enjoying it. I
- 3:10Speaker 1: like to look at the wealthy people. I like the lighter,
- 3:13Speaker 1: brighter Erica. I enjoy are. Yeah. I always love Sutton,
- 3:18Speaker 1: so yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 3: And I'm watching Traders, so I'm getting like Lisa Renna.
- 3:23Speaker 3: In fact, I was just picturing Beverly Hills and I
- 3:25Speaker 3: kept seeing Rina and I was like, why did I
- 3:27Speaker 3: pictureing Renna?
- 3:27Speaker 2: But it's, of course because I'm also watching Traders.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You got the Traders on your mind? Yes, I love it.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Traders is so good. It's so good, so good love.
- 3:37Speaker 1: And I was excited because I was flying last week
- 3:40Speaker 1: and I was like, Okay, I'm going to download Traders
- 3:43Speaker 1: to watch, and there was two episodes there.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I was like, yes, I didn't realize I was.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I didn't realize I was one episode behind. I was like, oh,
- 3:51Speaker 3: I have to wait until Thursday. And it turns out
- 3:53Speaker 3: this last episode somehow escaped me. So I just watched
- 3:57Speaker 3: last Threek's episode. So now I'm caught up with Traders.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Also, yeah, they gave you three and then they gave
- 4:03Speaker 1: you two, and I'm like, oh my gosh, how exciting. Yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 1: so Beverly Hills I'm watching now. I think you and
- 4:12Speaker 1: I have discussed this before. I am not a summer
- 4:14Speaker 1: house person. Are you a summerhouse person?
- 4:19Speaker 3: I've been watching it since the very first episode.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That's so surprising to me. Why because I think you
- 4:27Speaker 1: never watched the original vander Pump.
- 4:30Speaker 3: No, No, I did watch vander Pump. I think I
- 4:34Speaker 3: watched the first two seasons or the up until when
- 4:39Speaker 3: is it Billy like a trans.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Hostess Billy Lee.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yes, that season was.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I'm just remembering that character being introduced. That's when I
- 4:47Speaker 3: stopped watching. So I think that's got to be at
- 4:50Speaker 3: least three seasons or two seasons that I watched and
- 4:53Speaker 3: I liked it, but it is I don't watch it
- 4:56Speaker 3: now now I feel like it's too Oh.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I'm not watching it now. No, and and I tried.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I tried.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I didn't watch The Valley.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Oh, well you're you're then you're really missing something because
- 5:09Speaker 1: the Valley is great.
- 5:11Speaker 2: And there's something.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Are you watching the Persian Valley? Yes, of course, Okay,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I gotta, I've gotta, I gotta binge that. As to
- 5:20Speaker 1: where we are now, because it's a few episodes out.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I love Southern Term but I don't love South. I
- 5:26Speaker 3: didn't ever watch is it Southern Hospitality?
- 5:29Speaker 2: The Woman Love Are?
- 5:31Speaker 3: I never got into that, but I love and I
- 5:34Speaker 3: love Summer House and I loved Winter House.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I love all the houses.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I think I watched Winter House when Tom Schwartz was
- 5:44Speaker 1: on and then we had one guy whose name will
- 5:48Speaker 1: come to me eventually. That was on Family Karma, which
- 5:51Speaker 1: is one of my all time favorite Bravo shows that
- 5:53Speaker 1: I'm hoping they'll bring back.
- 5:56Speaker 2: And I loved that show The Mothers.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And the Great so good, so great, and so I
- 6:04Speaker 1: did watch that Winterhouse, but I just couldn't understand, like,
- 6:07Speaker 1: what are they doing? Are we just watching is it
- 6:10Speaker 1: just like Big Brother? I just could not understand what
- 6:13Speaker 1: is the point are they going to? What are they doing?
- 6:15Speaker 2: I mean it was a nice little mix.
- 6:17Speaker 3: What about this news of Amanda and Kyle are you
- 6:22Speaker 3: are you surprised?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Well be I don't watch it, but like I know everything,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and so just from everything that you've heard, you know
- 6:28Speaker 1: that that has been in the works for a while.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And I did like in their statement that they were like,
- 6:34Speaker 1: we do ask for privacy, and we do understand that
- 6:36Speaker 1: that is rich coming from us, do you know what
- 6:39Speaker 1: I mean? So, yeah, I appreciate that you could be like, look,

- 8:45Speaker 1: I watched the last one just because I was interested
- 8:47Speaker 1: in the Page and Craig of it all. And I'm
- 8:49Speaker 1: I think Page is pretty fascinating. Although I've never watched
- 8:52Speaker 1: her on my television, I just enjoy her.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Well, it's funny because she's got a very popular podcast. Think,
- 9:00Speaker 3: I don't know, I've never seen her outside of the
- 9:03Speaker 3: Summer House show, you know, Universe.
- 9:06Speaker 2: So Craig I'm now.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Watching because he's still on Southern Charm and so that's
- 9:10Speaker 3: airing right now. Oh yeah, I haven't seen Paige in forever,
- 9:14Speaker 3: and she's not going to be on the upcoming season,
- 9:17Speaker 3: I think.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Right probably not. She's the podcast that she has is huge,
- 9:22Speaker 1: like huge, like Crappin's levels huge huge. So you know,
- 9:27Speaker 1: it's it's a younger set of people than then you
- 9:30Speaker 1: and I would pay attention to.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Don't marvel up chic pillcases that the people who watch those.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I'm assuming that that conversation we have for timnus would
- 9:41Speaker 1: have no interest to the giggly squad set.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Is that? Is that what it's called giggle squad?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Giggly squad? I have heard of that squad.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Like there's like Amanda and Kyle for me, like the
- 9:53Speaker 3: heartbreak news is not about Amanda and Kyle, It's that
- 9:57Speaker 3: crue Leaf is leaving Great British Bake Off. Like I
- 10:01Speaker 3: saw that and I was like gun with all my friends.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I'm like, pru is leaving like to me, so that
- 10:08Speaker 3: I understand, like how that affects me?
- 10:10Speaker 2: Is the equivalent for other? Yes?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yes, yeah. My good friends Kimberly and Katie have a podcast,
- 10:19Speaker 1: a Date with Dateline, and Kimberly's a co host here
- 10:21Speaker 1: with Me every week, and they had a spin off
- 10:24Speaker 1: show called A Date with the bake and they covered
- 10:28Speaker 1: Great British Bakeoffs. So I imagine they're upset as well.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah, trust me, they are. Yeah, check in with them.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'll check in and see how they're doing. Well. Let's
- 10:37Speaker 1: talk about Salt Lake City because we everybody, everybody is
- 10:41Speaker 1: watching Salt Lake City, so we opened up with Angie
- 10:46Speaker 1: with her scroll, which was something that bothered me because
- 10:49Speaker 1: in episode one the scroll was sitting next to Andy
- 10:53Speaker 1: half the time, but so they were piecing it out
- 10:57Speaker 1: of order, and I didn't I like the continuity.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I'm like, it was a rather odd scroll.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Can we just talk about the physical nature of this scroll?
- 11:09Speaker 2: It was a scroll on a stand and then you
- 11:14Speaker 2: had to like cast it down's two pieces. The scroll
- 11:20Speaker 2: was a phone number, like, was the scroll the screen shot? Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 2: Lisa's phone number.
- 11:27Speaker 1: It was screenshots because when he unrolled it, you could
- 11:29Speaker 1: see like the little pieces of paper sort of lifting,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know, or maybe they hadn't glued it.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Is that some sort of Greek thing?
- 11:37Speaker 1: A scroll?
- 11:40Speaker 3: All I think of, like, you know, ancient Egypt and papyrus, and.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I just.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Minored in history but went right over my head, don't remember.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'm taking a note Google the scroll.
- 11:56Speaker 1: The scroll. So she says, Lisa trolling me, and of
- 12:00Speaker 1: course I'm like a troll with a scroll. So we
- 12:05Speaker 1: see this account, okay, it's called Candace Story seven, Okay,
- 12:10Speaker 1: and Lisa's the whole time it's not true, it's not true,
- 12:13Speaker 1: not true. So she's trying to show Andy something on
- 12:15Speaker 1: her phone. He's like, okay, like enough, and Whitney's like,
- 12:19Speaker 1: tell how we figured it out. This is important. So
- 12:22Speaker 1: Lisa goes, I don't know what you're doing. It's a
- 12:24Speaker 1: prop flop. It's a prop. It's a flop.
- 12:26Speaker 2: It's a flop flop, so.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Whitney says, and this is genius. Whitney says, she tried
- 12:33Speaker 1: to log onto Candas story seven and clicked forget password,
- 12:38Speaker 1: send password to the phone number associated with it, and
- 12:41Speaker 1: then it pops up and says is this your number?
- 12:44Speaker 1: And it was Lisa Warlow's number, But is mark.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You just the last four digits?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Because when you do that, it says we sent her
- 12:53Speaker 3: to the phone number xxxxxxx with the last few got it?
- 12:57Speaker 1: Got it? Okay, but still that's damning.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yes, But then Lisa and then she she apparently she
- 13:05Speaker 2: finally h come to and said that's when that was
- 13:08Speaker 2: my number or something, but they didn't really mine that
- 13:12Speaker 2: moment they sorted that to me. It slipped by.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, this is was her number? Yeah?
- 13:19Speaker 1: And a she goes, this account's been shitting on me
- 13:21Speaker 1: and cast members for years, the same canvas story seven.
- 13:25Speaker 1: You know, she goes and here's another thing. I figured out.
- 13:27Speaker 1: These ladies are all sleuths. I love it. She says.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I made a post for my daughter's Electra's birthday, and
- 13:34Speaker 1: right after that, Lisa sent me a text Happy birthday
- 13:37Speaker 1: to Electra. And then I looked and Lisa had not
- 13:40Speaker 1: seen my post because you can tell, but that other
- 13:43Speaker 1: account had seen my post.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was like, that's I mean, it's it
- 13:51Speaker 2: makes sense right, It's like a come's razor, like all
- 13:55Speaker 2: things being equal, what is logical? That does make sense
- 13:58Speaker 2: to me?
- 13:59Speaker 1: M And then you know, Hea, there's like there were
- 14:02Speaker 1: post from this Candice with details that only Lisa Barlow
- 14:06Speaker 1: would know. And Lisa is just going, it's not me,
- 14:08Speaker 1: it's not me, and and she goes, everyone knows it.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Meredith knows it. And Meredith, Meredith and Lisa were such
- 14:13Speaker 1: statues the whole time. They're like, I.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Thought it was such a bummer, like the they definitely
- 14:21Speaker 3: what was they saying like that Meredith is Lisa's mouthpiece
- 14:23Speaker 3: and she's like, I'm not.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I mean to me, it is. It's the whole time.
- 14:28Speaker 1: They're like, did I hit all my subjects?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Right? Yeah?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Good job? You know, makes for bagging me out break.
- 14:35Speaker 2: She's like, I got all my talking points thought essentially,
- 14:38Speaker 2: is what she was saying.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean they definitely had a meeting beforehand to
- 14:40Speaker 1: make sure they were hitting all their points, you know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: And who's to say I wouldn't do the same if
- 14:45Speaker 1: I had a good friend there. But they haven't been
- 14:47Speaker 1: good friends, you know, so like.
- 14:49Speaker 3: There's the accountability, Like they both got sort of indignant
- 14:55Speaker 3: and self righteous, but if they had, just if you
- 15:00Speaker 3: did it, I would expect you to say, well, you know,
- 15:03Speaker 3: Doug and I did get together just to make sure
- 15:05Speaker 3: we were going to hit everything.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Like you wouldn't get indignant and.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Deny it, right, yeah, just I would never I speak
- 15:11Speaker 1: for myself, like, no, you're obviously together.
- 15:15Speaker 2: In a world like own it or whatever it is.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Just yeah, yeah, yeah, it's okay.
- 15:19Speaker 2: That behavior is the behavior, but don't make it.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Worse by, you know, gas lighting or just being so
- 15:27Speaker 3: self righteous.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So self righteous. So you know, Heather's like, I wouldn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: accuse you if I didn't know it in my soul.
- 15:33Speaker 1: And everybody's yelling. Now you get this zoom in on Andy,
- 15:36Speaker 1: which I loved. He did seem to sort of leave
- 15:38Speaker 1: his body. He sort of seemed to something when he departs, Yeah,
- 15:42Speaker 1: and he just got off. He just gets up and
- 15:45Speaker 1: walks off, which was hilarious because they're all like, Andy,
- 15:47Speaker 1: please go back, We're sorry.
- 15:48Speaker 2: And no Andy, no, Andy.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Mary's going it's not funny. It's not funny. So then
- 15:58Speaker 1: there's some hullabaloo about a guy at Red Rocks that.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So Andy leaves. He doesn't, I mean, he leaves and
- 16:07Speaker 3: he just like stands aside for ten seconds.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You know, I loved it.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I want I want someone to like dress them down.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I want them to be like, shut up, Yeah, you
- 16:19Speaker 2: have a job. Unless that is there, it is their
- 16:23Speaker 2: job to make such commotion. I don't know, like that's
- 16:25Speaker 2: always sort of a.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But one at a time, one at a time, he
- 16:30Speaker 1: always says, one at a time. And then they just
- 16:32Speaker 1: are so eager that somehow they don't think they're going
- 16:36Speaker 1: to be able to make their points. So there's just
- 16:37Speaker 1: yelling and it's just like if you could just talk
- 16:39Speaker 1: and then you talk and then you talk and point counterpoint,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it's just noise, it is. And then I as a
- 16:46Speaker 1: person writing notes, I'm always trying to like pause and
- 16:49Speaker 1: go back, because now I'm trying to listen to the
- 16:50Speaker 1: under yelling, because on that last round, I listened to
- 16:53Speaker 1: the over yelling, and I'm trying to write down both
- 16:56Speaker 1: it's hard.
- 16:56Speaker 3: It's hard, and the robot that has to do the
- 16:59Speaker 3: close cap. I mean, you probably just kept garb more.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and it makes no sense. So there's a hall
- 17:06Speaker 1: of balloo about a guy Meredith dated. She took a
- 17:08Speaker 1: picture of him on a motorcycle at Red Rocks and
- 17:11Speaker 1: she's like, nobody cares. Seth and I were separated, so
- 17:13Speaker 1: that was kind of a you're on a break on
- 17:15Speaker 1: a break. So during the break, Andy says, let's take
- 17:20Speaker 1: a break now, Heather says, have you noticed like Meredith
- 17:24Speaker 1: really doesn't say anything in Lisa's defense, which she really
- 17:29Speaker 1: doesn't too much as much as Lisa does for her.
- 17:33Speaker 1: And then Lisa goes in there to talk to Meredith
- 17:36Speaker 1: and she's like, you have to be prepared. We're here
- 17:37Speaker 1: to back each other, and Meredith goes everybody's just so
- 17:41Speaker 1: obsessed with us. Sounded it sounded like something Brooks would say,
- 17:46Speaker 1: didn't it.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, And it looked so good.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I thought they both looked great.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Meredith's hair in particular, I was like, oh, she looks fantastic.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Lisa and Angie were best dressed for sure. So on
- 18:00Speaker 1: to Mary, Andy says that em and Mary n. Cosby
- 18:03Speaker 1: stands for mediator. We see her preaching, we see her
- 18:07Speaker 1: with their son, we see her trying to mediate between
- 18:09Speaker 1: the women. And Andy asked her, of course, about Robert Jr.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And what's going on, and she says like many parents
- 18:17Speaker 1: feel with children who are addicts, like I'm happy he's
- 18:20Speaker 1: in jail because at least I know where he is
- 18:23Speaker 1: and he's safe. She explains that, you know his his wife,
- 18:27Speaker 1: who's foll for divorce, has a restraining order against him,
- 18:30Speaker 1: but somehow in his mind he thinks that she wants
- 18:33Speaker 1: him to come save her, so he keeps going to
- 18:35Speaker 1: the house. It's very sad.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You surprised. I was surprised.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I know I don't have kids, but I was surprised
- 18:43Speaker 3: when Andy said have you visited him in jail? And
- 18:46Speaker 3: Mary with she was like an immediate reaction like no,
- 18:51Speaker 3: And I think she even said that would be weird,
- 18:55Speaker 3: And Andy said, because you don't want to see him
- 18:58Speaker 3: that way, and Mary kind of just went along and
- 19:01Speaker 3: said yes, I didn't know. Is that did that make
- 19:05Speaker 3: sense to you? Like did that resonate with you that
- 19:07Speaker 3: you wouldn't even want to see him? I mean, he's
- 19:10Speaker 3: clean if he's in jail, so and you know, presumably
- 19:15Speaker 3: on the right road if he wants books or whatever.
- 19:17Speaker 3: But what did you How did that sit with you
- 19:20Speaker 3: that she didn't want to go visit him while he's
- 19:22Speaker 3: in jail.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I think her initial reaction when she said was no,
- 19:26Speaker 1: that would be weird. She was like me in a jail,
- 19:29Speaker 1: That's what she said, Like, like for me to go
- 19:32Speaker 1: into a jail like that would be that would be
- 19:34Speaker 1: like Julia Roberts walking into the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Like,
- 19:37Speaker 1: what are you talking about? We just did a we
- 19:39Speaker 1: just did a show about the Fulton County Jail.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Go visit people in prison? Kind it was.
- 19:44Speaker 1: That was kind of her initial And then, like you said,
- 19:46Speaker 1: he said, because you wouldn't want to see him that way.
- 19:50Speaker 2: But I didn't know if that was a real if
- 19:53Speaker 2: that was like a real sort of thing. I mean,
- 19:56Speaker 2: I can't think. I don't know. I don't I've never
- 20:00Speaker 2: would go.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I would go.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I would too. Have you ever visited somebody in jail? No?
- 20:07Speaker 1: But I cover so many jail shows that I think
- 20:09Speaker 1: I'd be great at it because I would know what
- 20:11Speaker 1: to do, I'd know what to expects. But I think
- 20:15Speaker 1: that I know people who have had children that are addicts,
- 20:20Speaker 1: and they end up in jail here and there a lot,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and then maybe by the third or fourth time, you're like, no,
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm not going like when they get out, you know,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I'll see him then, And I don't know. I mean,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I assume they're sending a lawyer over there for him
- 20:33Speaker 1: and whatnot. But until he gets into a really long program,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you know, thirty days is not going to do anything.
- 20:41Speaker 4: No, you know.
- 20:44Speaker 1: So they asked her about the documentary and I did.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I interviewed the director and the producer.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Oh cool, uh huh.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And I watched it twice because I covered it, did
- 20:56Speaker 1: a recap of it, and uh, you watched it, yes, it, Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I it was too long, number one. But I did
- 21:06Speaker 1: like that her sister was on there. I liked that
- 21:09Speaker 1: the church members that were like her cousin and his
- 21:12Speaker 1: wife and long term members of the church that were
- 21:15Speaker 1: there when Mama was there, especially the one that was
- 21:18Speaker 1: the family of the girl that she sort of was like.
- 21:20Speaker 1: And she got ejected out of the window and woo,
- 21:22Speaker 1: let's eat. You know, I found all that anything they
- 21:26Speaker 1: related back, A.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Lot of things sort of made sense to me. It
- 21:30Speaker 3: seemed logical. Everything everything seemed logical.
- 21:33Speaker 2: It didn't. It didn't seem like just an axe to
- 21:36Speaker 2: grind from other people. Yea, yeah, yeah, there was enough perspective.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I think I.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Thought it was most people will disagree and they didn't
- 21:46Speaker 1: like it so much, but I thought I gat some information.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Now I listen. I still enjoy Mary Cosby on my TV.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I think she's really great television. And my hope is
- 21:56Speaker 1: that she's doing a bron when or any of these
- 22:00Speaker 1: other women that we've seen trying to get away from
- 22:03Speaker 1: a husband. My hope is that next season it'll be like,
- 22:06Speaker 1: well we just thought it a divorce and he's going
- 22:08Speaker 1: to keep the church and I'm gonna go this.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Way, you know what a turnaround.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Though, Remember that was at the I guess her first
- 22:15Speaker 3: season she just was sort of first season, she was
- 22:18Speaker 3: just sort of like this cooky aside. But remember when
- 22:23Speaker 3: they awn camping? Did they go camping and she's stayed
- 22:26Speaker 3: in the car with her McDonald's, Like she was so
- 22:28Speaker 3: disengaged that she definitely has I think made a reversal.
- 22:34Speaker 3: She's much more engaged and active part of the group
- 22:38Speaker 3: in a way that she wasn't before, and I enjoy
- 22:40Speaker 3: that for sure.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Y'all know how much I'll love to go to concerts
- 22:46Speaker 1: and live events. I love to go to sports events

- 24:50Speaker 1: Motel and they were all sitting out by the pool,
- 24:52Speaker 1: and I think Angi's like, Mary, do you want to
- 24:54Speaker 1: come sit with us? She's like no. She were like, Okay,
- 24:58Speaker 1: we are here to shoot a TV show. But right
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm into it. So Mary says, look, the whole thing
- 25:04Speaker 1: hurt my feelings, but you know I'm tough, and Whitney says,
- 25:07Speaker 1: you know a lot of people when it came out
- 25:09Speaker 1: were really standing up for Mary. And Lisa goes, yeah,
- 25:12Speaker 1: because it's old news, and Mary goes, I don't know
- 25:16Speaker 1: why it's all resurfacing. People just maybe aren't used to
- 25:19Speaker 1: a Pentecostal church, a black Pentecostal church in Utah, Like,
- 25:22Speaker 1: I don't know. So then Andy asked Mary about when
- 25:27Speaker 1: she said Meredith is not a good friend to Lisa.
- 25:31Speaker 1: She didn't stick up for Lisa when everybody was bringing
- 25:33Speaker 1: up this lawsuit stuff. And Lisa goes, Meredith and I
- 25:36Speaker 1: have always been good friends, and Mary goes, oh, even
- 25:40Speaker 1: when you called her a whore and said she slept
- 25:41Speaker 1: with half in New York. Yeah, I will I don't
- 25:46Speaker 1: care how many seasons we had. I'm never going to
- 25:48Speaker 1: get over that either. Yeah, I would never speak to
- 25:52Speaker 1: somebody again. Ever, we take a lot.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, concile from that bad it's that's that was so
- 26:04Speaker 2: or not even to reconcile.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I guess listen, you could, you can share space with
- 26:09Speaker 3: everybody to put your trust and your faith in and
- 26:16Speaker 3: and respect to somebody, I would have a really really.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Hard time, I think.
- 26:24Speaker 1: And then Lisa's come back to that is do you
- 26:26Speaker 1: want to go through the list of everything everyone has
- 26:28Speaker 1: ever called Meredith or do you just want to fixate
- 26:31Speaker 1: on me?
- 26:31Speaker 2: I was like, I don't.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Like the way she argues. It's not it's it's it's
- 26:35Speaker 3: not good. Like I love to argue when you're when
- 26:38Speaker 3: you know how to argue, But she just she just.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Goes low and deflects, and a lot of like what
- 26:44Speaker 2: about you know, what about is? And what about what
- 26:47Speaker 2: you did? It's like, but that's not what yes precipitated is.
- 26:50Speaker 2: It's about what you did. So through that, there's there's
- 26:55Speaker 2: no awareness there.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I think Lisa says she's frustrated or frustrated, however you
- 27:01Speaker 1: say that, however you say that word that was interesting.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Then maybe they cut out somebody correcting her because she
- 27:07Speaker 3: said frustrated, frustrated.
- 27:11Speaker 2: On how you say it, so she knows how to
- 27:12Speaker 2: say frustrated.
- 27:14Speaker 1: She just a lot of people say frustrated.
- 27:16Speaker 2: We heard a lot a lot of people say frustrated.
- 27:18Speaker 2: There's a lot of words library, irregardless.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Regardless, bothers me a lot. Yeah. So Andy's like, look,
- 27:29Speaker 1: it's people marvel at how you were able to get
- 27:32Speaker 1: over that, like you know, like it was four years ago,
- 27:34Speaker 1: but people marvel over how you could move past it.
- 27:38Speaker 1: And then Andy says, Lisa, were you surprised Mary took
- 27:41Speaker 1: your side on this thing, saying that Meredith didn't stick
- 27:43Speaker 1: up for you. And Lisa goes, and Mary goes, Lisa
- 27:46Speaker 1: don't care, Lisa cares about Lisa, and and she goes
- 27:51Speaker 1: and Lisa probably doesn't even know what you're talking about
- 27:53Speaker 1: right now. And Lisa is just like looking forward and
- 27:56Speaker 1: they all laugh, They're like, look at her. She doesn't It.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Was convenient, yeah, camera that, I mean, it is true.
- 28:04Speaker 3: She's just like that absolutely not there.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Not there. So but Mary says to Lisa, she says,
- 28:13Speaker 1: and Whitney says, I remember when you too Lisa and
- 28:16Speaker 1: Whitney said my church was a cult, and you brought
- 28:18Speaker 1: Cameron on the show, and that's top of mind for
- 28:20Speaker 1: us because we just watched the documentary. And Mary says
- 28:25Speaker 1: to Lisa, you know you live in the negative. You're
- 28:27Speaker 1: very dark. You're a very dark person. And Lisa goes,
- 28:30Speaker 1: oh my god, where's this coming from. So meanwhile, this
- 28:34Speaker 1: is when Heather and Angie are just like meanwhile, this
- 28:40Speaker 1: is when Heather and ange are like, look at her.
- 28:43Speaker 1: She's like a statue and she's just like, Okay. Now
- 28:47Speaker 1: we see Britney mentioning the TikTok rumor about Seth and
- 28:53Speaker 1: then we see you know, Brahmin and Meredith throwing Uni
- 28:55Speaker 1: the unicorn in the ocean, and we talk about Merediths
- 28:58Speaker 1: behavior on the plane, and when we see them all
- 29:01Speaker 1: yelling in the George Washington wigs, and Meredith apologized to
- 29:05Speaker 1: Brittany for what she did or didn't do, but no,
- 29:08Speaker 1: they're not friends, and Brahman goes, I don't understand what
- 29:12Speaker 1: the big deal is. Like marriages on the show were
- 29:14Speaker 1: talked about all the time, but we don't flip out
- 29:16Speaker 1: bully people. And so Brittany tells them that she yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 1: she does have faith, she does have proof that Seth
- 29:25Speaker 1: has been unfaithful. Seth told someone Jared, that he has
- 29:31Speaker 1: two girlfriends, right, and Lisa says yeah. And Jared told
- 29:37Speaker 1: all of them that Todd wanted to go to Dubai
- 29:39Speaker 1: or something to get ed meds. And then we see
- 29:43Speaker 1: Lisa at Amy's party trying to get Jared to repeat
- 29:46Speaker 1: it on camera to Amy, and Jared's like, uh, hilarious, hilarious.
- 29:52Speaker 2: He said, I won't vote for you unless you say.
- 29:56Speaker 1: It is he running for mayor.
- 29:58Speaker 3: He's running for something, but that if he if he
- 30:00Speaker 3: said okay, he would be that on camera taking a bride.
- 30:03Speaker 2: You're right, you can't. You can't accept a bribe when
- 30:07Speaker 2: you're ready for office.
- 30:08Speaker 1: That's a great point. That's a great point. So then
- 30:11Speaker 1: they talk about why no one recorded it on the plane,
- 30:13Speaker 1: and we do sort of find out that this plane
- 30:15Speaker 1: incident did happen towards the end of the six hour
- 30:19Speaker 1: flight on descent upon descent.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Upon descent. But then I think Heather said the last hour.
- 30:25Speaker 3: And I've been on enough planes to know you don't
- 30:28Speaker 3: really start your descent an hour because an hours when
- 30:31Speaker 3: they're giving you the chocolate chip cookie if you're in.
- 30:33Speaker 2: The front of the plane.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, started your descent yet, so true descent is probably
- 30:38Speaker 3: about twenty five twenty Yeah, about twenty five minutes before.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yeah, they said it was with an hour. And then Brittany,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you know, makes it worre. She was like, the plane
- 30:46Speaker 1: was in a nose dive. Okay, well that was.
- 30:50Speaker 2: A little crazy too.
- 30:51Speaker 1: She's a little crazy, you know, so they just you know,
- 30:55Speaker 1: Heather's like, Meredith, you have ability to remember all these
- 31:00Speaker 1: details of everything, but you can't remember what happened on
- 31:03Speaker 1: the plane. Now, you remember what I said to you
- 31:05Speaker 1: on the plane, but you can't remember what precipitated me
- 31:07Speaker 1: talking to you on the plane. And Meredith says, I
- 31:10Speaker 1: don't I don't want to hear this. Heather has screeched
- 31:13Speaker 1: at me for two months and this makes Heather so mad. Screech,
- 31:19Speaker 1: I just screeched a you fuck you. I didn't screech
- 31:22Speaker 1: at you, but I'm going to.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Start Davidson going beast beast. It was like, because it
- 31:28Speaker 2: just goes screech, this is great.
- 31:32Speaker 1: That really that really got her, And she says, our
- 31:34Speaker 1: friendship is over. Should buckle up, Meredith, it won't be
- 31:37Speaker 1: a fun ride. I was like, whoa, I enjoyed that.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I that's a stupid thing to say, because then they're
- 31:44Speaker 3: going to pick up the cameras again and they're all
- 31:46Speaker 3: going to be like, I'm willing to look past it
- 31:48Speaker 3: and give you a second chance or fifth or a
- 31:50Speaker 3: seventh chance. I don't like I don't like those proclamations
- 31:54Speaker 3: I'll never or yeah, I just I don't like.
- 31:57Speaker 1: It because they have to film together. So if you
- 31:59Speaker 1: like you want to end up like New Jersey and
- 32:01Speaker 1: then you don't have a show when people refuse, you know,
- 32:04Speaker 1: so if you want people to.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Take you out your word, because the minute you say
- 32:08Speaker 3: they I'll never and then you do it, then I
- 32:11Speaker 3: don't trust you ever.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Right, well not right? So Andy goes, Okay, should Brittany
- 32:18Speaker 1: say what happened on the plane? And should Meredith say?
- 32:20Speaker 1: Should we each get to say what happened on the plane?
- 32:22Speaker 1: And Meredith goes, before we do that, I'd like to backtrack.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'd like to backtrack a little bit, you know.
- 32:30Speaker 2: So revisit. I love I love a revisit.
- 32:35Speaker 1: She's like, I'm going to distract you from asking me
- 32:37Speaker 1: if I was on pills and then She says, if
- 32:40Speaker 1: all of you were such good friends with Brittany, why
- 32:42Speaker 1: didn't anybody get up to help her? And if anybody
- 32:45Speaker 1: was so concerned about me, why didn't anyone say are
- 32:47Speaker 1: you okay? And she goes, I did, and Heather said,
- 32:51Speaker 1: I sent you a text and we see it like
- 32:53Speaker 1: are you okay? So Heather goes, we should talk about
- 32:57Speaker 1: the horrible things you said to her, the horrible things
- 32:58Speaker 1: you called her. We're protecting you by not saying what
- 33:01Speaker 1: you really said, and let's talk about what's not being
- 33:04Speaker 1: spoken about, like horrible lies that you were yelling about
- 33:07Speaker 1: Brittany on the plane and in the airport. So of
- 33:11Speaker 1: course I'm like, what was it she was calling her
- 33:12Speaker 1: a prostitute? Like what was she saying? I mean, well,
- 33:16Speaker 1: was it?
- 33:17Speaker 3: Well, what wasn't it the whole manicurist story.
- 33:22Speaker 1: No, I don't think that's what she was. She was
- 33:24Speaker 1: saying that she was yelling, she was yelling lies about
- 33:27Speaker 1: Brittany in the airport. Was that the manicurist story?
- 33:30Speaker 2: She said, before I talk about the plane, let's talk about.
- 33:34Speaker 3: What led us there, Okay, anti Semitic, manicurist.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 33:40Speaker 2: That so that's what.
- 33:42Speaker 3: That's what I thought, so that Meredith was saying, I
- 33:45Speaker 3: protected you by not calling you an anti semi, which
- 33:48Speaker 3: so I'll just do it here like that was the
- 33:50Speaker 3: other like that we've got to do that whole thing
- 33:53Speaker 3: about the anti Semitic manicurist who you know, Meredith led
- 33:58Speaker 3: into her home.
- 34:01Speaker 2: You know, but apparently did a good job on the nails.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But that's what I thought they were avoiding talking about
- 34:09Speaker 2: until they started talking about it.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I mean, I guess Marret is trying to say, I
- 34:12Speaker 1: was already mad about that, and then you brought up
- 34:15Speaker 1: that TikTok, and then that just fueled something in me.
- 34:18Speaker 1: And when she got up to go to the bathroom,
- 34:20Speaker 1: maybe she used her seat, and you know, when the
- 34:23Speaker 1: Brittany goes to the bathroom comes back, there's wine all
- 34:25Speaker 1: over her seat and maryag just like that didn't happen,
- 34:29Speaker 1: and Marya's like, this is ridiculous. So this is when
- 34:32Speaker 1: Andy's like, did you have a drink on the plane?
- 34:35Speaker 1: And then she says she explains the whole thing about
- 34:38Speaker 1: the anti Semitic manicurist, which is just like you couldn't
- 34:43Speaker 1: make it up. These are these things, these like like
- 34:46Speaker 1: the Haitian mortician, like you just like what, like it's
- 34:51Speaker 1: in theaters next spring. It's just like, it's a crazy story.
- 34:57Speaker 1: It's a crazy story. The manicurists posted something on social
- 35:00Speaker 1: media terribly anti Semitic. Meredith, of course, is Jewish, and
- 35:04Speaker 1: she was very offended. But the manicurist asked Brittany and
- 35:09Speaker 1: Jared to write a nice review. They didn't know why,
- 35:12Speaker 1: they didn't look into why, and they just did it,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and then of course took it back once they realized
- 35:18Speaker 1: what the guy had done. Because Brittany goes, I mean,
- 35:20Speaker 1: it was the least I could do. He was doing
- 35:22Speaker 1: my nails for free.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Did a good job, or he did my nails for free?
- 35:25Speaker 3: But she did also she started by saying it was
- 35:27Speaker 3: in exchange for a post.
- 35:29Speaker 1: In exchange for a post. And I like when they
- 35:31Speaker 1: are transparent with stuff like that.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I totally agree. I totally agree.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Don't just be like it's a manicurist. We both knew.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Just go ahead and say it's something you were getting
- 35:38Speaker 1: for free.
- 35:39Speaker 3: You know, said I do Meredith's nails, I'd like to
- 35:42Speaker 3: do yours in exchange for a post.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:45Speaker 3: He followed up, and he said I've been getting bad reviews?
- 35:49Speaker 3: Could you write a positive review? If he had said
- 35:53Speaker 3: I'm getting bad reviews and it's because I don't like Jews,
- 35:57Speaker 3: like then maybe Britney would be like, well that I'm.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Not you know, I'm out say that.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yeah. So she explains it and she says, you know,
- 36:05Speaker 1: she says more the ones I handled it the right way.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I handled it the right way. And then when I
- 36:12Speaker 1: talked to Meredith at the whatever that camp out think
- 36:15Speaker 1: they did, she cried and I held her in my
- 36:18Speaker 1: arms like a child like this, and they were I
- 36:20Speaker 1: was like, okay, Brittany, it was so.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Awkward, and they were like, she's putting on her acting voice.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I was like, it's just always like one step too far,
- 36:28Speaker 1: like we were with you, We were with you, and
- 36:30Speaker 1: then you have to go and to do this holding
- 36:32Speaker 1: Angie and showing her how she rocked her. And Meredith
- 36:36Speaker 1: was like, oh my god, this is a good performance.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And Meredith says that she does feel that the reason
- 36:42Speaker 1: Brittany is attacking her is because she's anti Semitic, and
- 36:45Speaker 1: they were like, yeah, okay, that.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Was really far, Like she goes, yeah, I was like
- 36:53Speaker 3: she picked me out of everybody else. I really thought
- 36:57Speaker 3: that was I certainly don't know, Brittany, but that seems.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Like a reach.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It seems like a reach. And again, it's always just
- 37:06Speaker 1: like we're getting somewhere with these conversations and then it's
- 37:11Speaker 1: a step too far and then you're off the rails
- 37:12Speaker 1: and people are yelling back and forth. Y'all. My entire
- 37:16Speaker 1: family wears glasses, so I think glasses are as important
- 37:19Speaker 1: as a haircut or your makeup or your clothes. They're
- 37:21Speaker 1: one of the first things people notice when they look
- 37:23Speaker 1: at you. So it's wild how buying glasses has always
- 37:26Speaker 1: felt hard and impossible to find styles you actually like,
- 37:29Speaker 1: Like you think you find something online and you get
- 37:31Speaker 1: them and you're like, oh my gosh, these are outdated.
- 37:34Speaker 1: They're like the wrong size for your face. And this
- 37:36Speaker 1: is why I'm obsessed with Warby Parker. Seriously, nothing comes
- 37:40Speaker 1: close on quality, price selection, customer service. My entire family
- 37:44Speaker 1: currently wears Warby Parker glasses and sunglasses. I have three
- 37:48Speaker 1: pair right now in my purse. So you need to
- 37:51Speaker 1: check out the Warby Parker Virtual try on. It's a
- 37:54Speaker 1: game changer. You could literally try on glasses from your
- 37:57Speaker 1: phone before you buy, and it's crazy how well it
- 38:00Speaker 1: actually works. I've tried other virtual trials that feel real janky.
- 38:04Speaker 1: It looks like they're doing like a cut and paste.
- 38:06Speaker 1: But with Warby Parker, you can genuinely tell how the
- 38:09Speaker 1: frames are going to look and fit, so you don't
- 38:11Speaker 1: get something like huge on your face or too tiny
- 38:14Speaker 1: on your face. You just point your camera and boom,
- 38:17Speaker 1: you can see tons of frames on your face in
- 38:18Speaker 1: real time. I love it. And when it comes to
- 38:21Speaker 1: quality for the price, Warby Parker is the best. Their
- 38:24Speaker 1: prescription glasses start at ninety five dollars, so you can
- 38:27Speaker 1: actually get quality and stylish frames at an affordable price.
- 38:31Speaker 1: And they don't just offer the incredible prescription glasses. They
- 38:34Speaker 1: have everything you need for happier eyes. That includes contact lenses,
- 38:39Speaker 1: online eye exams, and sunglasses. It's all in one place,
- 38:43Speaker 1: which makes everything so much easier. My daughter has her
- 38:46Speaker 1: prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses from Warby Parker. Really cute.
- 38:51Speaker 1: They also have over three hundred retail stores across the US.
- 38:54Speaker 1: We have one right by my house. We love going
- 38:56Speaker 1: in there. The staff is so fun and nice and
- 38:59Speaker 1: they really know their stuf and mean. They will look
- 39:00Speaker 1: right at you and say, girl, those are too big
- 39:03Speaker 1: for your face. And you know, I'm always like what
- 39:05Speaker 1: about this? What about that? And they're very honest and
- 39:08Speaker 1: I love the people in there, So it's nice to
- 39:10Speaker 1: know you have that in person option if you ever
- 39:12Speaker 1: want it. And as you know, for every pair of
- 39:16Speaker 1: glasses they sell, they give a pair to someone in need.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Warby Parker has distributed over twenty million pairs of glasses
- 39:23Speaker 1: to people in need through its buy a pair, Give
- 39:25Speaker 1: a Pair program, and they're covered by major eye insurance plans.
- 39:29Speaker 1: So when you're online, you just enter your information to

- 39:33Speaker 1: they will automatically apply them for you. Warby Parker gives
- 39:37Speaker 1: you quality and better looking prescription eyewear at a fraction
- 39:40Speaker 1: of the going price. Our listeners get fifteen percent plus

- 39:52Speaker 1: fifteen percent off when you buy two pairs of glasses
- 39:55Speaker 1: at waar By Parker dot com slash pink Shade. After
- 40:01Speaker 1: you purchase, they will ask you where did you hear
- 40:03Speaker 1: about us? And please support our show and tell them
- 40:05Speaker 1: we send you, and then Brittany says she's tired of
- 40:11Speaker 1: being attacked and she's not a victim, and she storms
- 40:14Speaker 1: off the set, second storm off? Who this like? Are
- 40:19Speaker 1: we gonna get a are we gonna get a third one?
- 40:21Speaker 1: The next episode?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Off? And then she stops, Yes, I'm not a victim
- 40:26Speaker 2: and then storms off again. She is a very very dramatic.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Yes it was. And then that was the end. And
- 40:38Speaker 1: next week, I guess we're going to be discussing bron
- 40:41Speaker 1: Win's marriage.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Right have do any of the husbands come on?
- 40:46Speaker 1: Or No? I haven't seen any clips of that, And
- 40:49Speaker 1: I guess we're going to have to discuss the Angie
- 40:53Speaker 1: Lisa fight, with Lisa sending her assistant to collect the
- 40:57Speaker 1: fresh wolf from Angie's salon, and then they were dusty.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Last year, No, it was this year.
- 41:04Speaker 1: It was yeah, yeah, so we gotta I'm just trying
- 41:09Speaker 1: to think of like other storylines we haven't discussed, because
- 41:11Speaker 1: it can't be another it can't be an hour about Brahmin. Oh,
- 41:14Speaker 1: they're gonna ask Whitney about her marriage and she cries
- 41:20Speaker 1: hmmm because she's upset that Justin had her do an
- 41:25Speaker 1: MLM and then she lost the money for her company.
- 41:27Speaker 2: There's a scene they show a clip or she's like
- 41:30Speaker 2: I need a minute or.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Something, and maybe she walked. Maybe that'll be our third
- 41:33Speaker 1: walk off because I'm trying to figure out, like what
- 41:36Speaker 1: else is left? I mean, they're definitely gonna show all
- 41:39Speaker 1: the clips of Todd, you know, taking the cherry off
- 41:43Speaker 1: the Sunday and just her saying like, you know, maybe
- 41:46Speaker 1: we could just have an open marriage, and he's like,
- 41:48Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about us.
- 41:51Speaker 2: He's really unsavory.
- 41:55Speaker 1: He's a grumpy old man, and the whole.
- 41:58Speaker 2: A grumpy old man. He unsavory. Are we on the
- 42:03Speaker 2: same age?
- 42:05Speaker 1: No, let's look him up. I think I've done this
- 42:07Speaker 1: before because I was concerned that I was his age
- 42:12Speaker 1: Todd from our hslc age. Okay, okay, he's sixty seven. Oh,
- 42:21Speaker 1: thank god, thank the Lord.
- 42:24Speaker 2: He's nowhere near my age.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Nowhere near my age. So but you know the story
- 42:31Speaker 1: about him making out and farting, I mean, whatever, how embarrassing, horrible,
- 42:42Speaker 1: how embarrassing?
- 42:43Speaker 3: Who wants to talk about it and who wants to
- 42:45Speaker 3: hear it?
- 42:47Speaker 4: Not I?
- 42:48Speaker 1: And then what do you think about bron Win saying
- 42:53Speaker 1: I guess we are going to discuss this the next episode.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Seeing Seth in New York with a woman that then
- 42:59Speaker 1: they spoke to him. Now, if Seth was smart, he
- 43:02Speaker 1: would have seen Bromwin and Todd walk in and walked
- 43:05Speaker 1: right up to the table and said, this is my coworker,
- 43:07Speaker 1: Susie Q, and then.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Called Meredith and said, oh god, I just run into Bromwin.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Right, But it sounds like that's not what happened, right, Well,
- 43:17Speaker 1: what do you think of that? What do you think
- 43:18Speaker 1: of that?
- 43:20Speaker 2: I don't really care. It's not going to affect me.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Do you not like Bronwin? No?
- 43:26Speaker 2: I do like Bronwyn.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I went back and forth, but now I feel like
- 43:30Speaker 3: she's a little bit of an underdog, and I always
- 43:32Speaker 3: like the underdog, so it's difficult for me to not
- 43:39Speaker 3: have like a just find your endearing as the underdog.
- 43:44Speaker 3: But I didn't like her in the beginning. I don't
- 43:46Speaker 3: like when they just are just all showy, showy, showy,
- 43:50Speaker 3: and I think she was, and maybe that is who
- 43:54Speaker 3: she really is. Just in this moment, I appreciate her.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I think that you could tell from her home to
- 44:02Speaker 1: Core that that's just how she is. Yeah, you know,
- 44:05Speaker 1: what I mean, like make.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Sure her house is yeah, I can't is it contemporary?
- 44:10Speaker 3: I can't really remember now.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Remember it's all it's all like weird, colorful statues and
- 44:17Speaker 1: then like very minimal furniture but then like perfect.
- 44:22Speaker 2: But also her mother that that now I'm remembering. The
- 44:25Speaker 2: other thing that sort of makes her an underdog for
- 44:27Speaker 2: me is that that her relationship with her mother, which
- 44:30Speaker 2: is very difficult to watch, very at least, so I
- 44:37Speaker 2: think that also helps make her an underdog. And so
- 44:42Speaker 2: because it's it is always so so difficult to see,
- 44:46Speaker 2: there's there have been so many shows on Bravo where
- 44:50Speaker 2: you know that you see the parents and you're like, oh,
- 44:52Speaker 2: I mean Sultan's mother to me, like that, that's a
- 44:56Speaker 2: really really tough relationship. And Kenya more uh yes, father,
- 45:09Speaker 2: remember Curtis. I that I'm remembering so clearly because I
- 45:13Speaker 2: just started rewatching Atlanta. You did well.
- 45:16Speaker 3: Yes, Just this morning, I had their alter Ego photo
- 45:20Speaker 3: shoot episode was playing from like season two when we
- 45:25Speaker 3: we they got their alter ego and that's when they
- 45:28Speaker 3: played don't be tidy for the party in the car
- 45:31Speaker 3: because Kim fell at the alter Ego party and she
- 45:34Speaker 3: was all scraped up and she wouldn't go inside for
- 45:36Speaker 3: the reveal anyway.
- 45:39Speaker 2: So I just started watching it again. But there, you know,
- 45:41Speaker 2: like with meeting it, I remember when watching that when
- 45:44Speaker 2: I first aired, and her finding out that, you know,
- 45:47Speaker 2: the guy that she thought was her father really wasn't
- 45:49Speaker 2: her father.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I just you know, I grew up in a even
- 45:54Speaker 3: though I grew up in New York City and it
- 45:55Speaker 3: was very sheltered. I guess, like I I didn't have
- 46:00Speaker 3: I didn't know people who had that kind of relationship.
- 46:03Speaker 2: And as it turns out, as an.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Adult, a very close friend of mine, at her father's
- 46:09Speaker 3: deathbed in the hospital, his last breath was letting her
- 46:16Speaker 3: know that he was not her biological and then he died.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it's true, true, Wow, and it when she was
- 46:28Speaker 4: telling me the story, I was like, oh, she's writing
- 46:31Speaker 4: this as a script, and she was like, this is
- 46:33Speaker 4: what happened.
- 46:34Speaker 2: I mean, it's shocking.
- 46:37Speaker 1: And what did her mother have to say about that?
- 46:39Speaker 1: Or was the mother also passed?
- 46:41Speaker 2: No, the mother is alive. And I created a created
- 46:49Speaker 2: tension and relationship.
- 46:52Speaker 5: I would imagine, but he wanted he didn't want her
- 46:58Speaker 5: to know until after he died because he raised her
- 47:01Speaker 5: as she as the.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Father, and so.
- 47:07Speaker 3: She ended up then finding her real father who had
- 47:11Speaker 3: passed away, but she became very close with his other children.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I have, I have two three I have I know
- 47:21Speaker 1: three people who late in life have gone on like
- 47:24Speaker 1: twenty three and mes, you know, and they were adopted
- 47:26Speaker 1: and found the you know, original birth family. Yeah, and
- 47:30Speaker 1: are close with them now and all that.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean it happens. So anyway, I'm sorry
- 47:37Speaker 2: to take you on that. True.
- 47:39Speaker 1: No, we were talking about Nanni. But remember like Ashley
- 47:42Speaker 1: Darby had something similar, like she went to her dad's
- 47:45Speaker 1: house and he refused to see her.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Oh, vaguely. I remember my father as a big presence
- 47:52Speaker 2: on the show. I'm not remembering her father at all. Yeah.
- 47:55Speaker 2: And Nicole doctor actrinal Yeah, her dad, Yeah, I remember
- 48:04Speaker 2: her dad and her dad he passed away. Yeah. Listen, parents, parents,
- 48:10Speaker 2: We don't choose our parents.
- 48:11Speaker 3: And it's really it's just heartbreaking for me to see,
- 48:17Speaker 3: you know.
- 48:17Speaker 2: And I come from a family with obviously, uh, there's
- 48:22Speaker 2: a lot of service and drama in everybody's family. But
- 48:25Speaker 2: at the core, at the heart of it, I grew
- 48:28Speaker 2: up with two extremely supportive parents and when you see
- 48:33Speaker 2: what other people endured, you know, growing up, or what
- 48:38Speaker 2: they what they current the relationship with their parents as adults.
- 48:42Speaker 2: It's just really really heartbreaking. And I know that a
- 48:45Speaker 2: lot of times people are contemporaries will say, like I
- 48:48Speaker 2: need to break.
- 48:49Speaker 3: That chain, I need to housewives. We hear that, like
- 48:53Speaker 3: I can't do the same. But I think it happens
- 48:57Speaker 3: a lot because you only know why.
- 49:00Speaker 1: You knew, Yes, Doug, how old were you when your
- 49:05Speaker 1: father passed away?
- 49:07Speaker 2: He died in twenty twelve, thirteen or fourteen years younger
- 49:14Speaker 2: than I am now, very much an adult?
- 49:17Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, I didn't know. I didn't know if he
- 49:19Speaker 1: died when you were young.
- 49:21Speaker 3: Fell in twenty ten, landed on his head New York City,
- 49:28Speaker 3: and he had an inoperable hem a hem a tauma
- 49:32Speaker 3: atoma came in his brain. They couldn't operate, see, so
- 49:38Speaker 3: he was home in the apartment and my mom they
- 49:42Speaker 3: he had to have twenty four hour care, and so
- 49:45Speaker 3: they brought a hospital bed and put that in the
- 49:47Speaker 3: in my parents' bedroom, and my mom kind of moved
- 49:50Speaker 3: into the guest room, but in their little apartment in
- 49:53Speaker 3: New York City for two years, around the clock, care.
- 49:57Speaker 2: My dad was mostly non responsive. I mean, oh a
- 50:03Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, it was terrible. I mean that more.
- 50:06Speaker 2: I spoke to him. That was on his birthday that
- 50:07Speaker 2: he fell. I spoke to him that morning. He had
- 50:10Speaker 2: been on the treadmill, he you know, he was working out,
- 50:12Speaker 2: he went to the office. It was totally fine. And
- 50:15Speaker 2: then that night, so it was very, very sad.
- 50:20Speaker 3: He ultimately passed from pneumonia, put him into hospice at
- 50:27Speaker 3: the hospital because he had a d n R. And
- 50:30Speaker 3: so I was there when he passed, and I feel
- 50:34Speaker 3: incredibly blessed.
- 50:36Speaker 2: I was able to, you know, hold on to my sister.
- 50:38Speaker 2: My mother, and I were there and we said goodbye.
- 50:42Speaker 2: We played Frank Sinatra, and I associate my dad's passing
- 50:46Speaker 2: as really a beautiful experience, and I am so lucky
- 50:51Speaker 2: that I was able to be there. It just happened
- 50:53Speaker 2: to be in New York when he got pneumonia, and
- 50:56Speaker 2: they were like, it's happening.
- 50:57Speaker 1: So oh god.
- 50:59Speaker 2: That was twenty twelve.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Wow. Well, I just always hear you talk about your
- 51:04Speaker 1: mom the widow, which is always it's funny to me
- 51:07Speaker 1: every time when you call her the widow. But she's
- 51:11Speaker 1: so you know, with it and active, you know, at
- 51:14Speaker 1: almost ninety years old, and she you know, goes to
- 51:16Speaker 1: work and does her thing and does her walking, and
- 51:18Speaker 1: she's tired.
- 51:19Speaker 3: She doesn't go to work, but she does walk between
- 51:22Speaker 3: four and five miles a day every day in Central Park.
- 51:26Speaker 3: And she's taking classes at Fordham and so, you know,
- 51:31Speaker 3: at her age, it's very important that you do things
- 51:36Speaker 3: to keep your brain active. I mean, she takes these
- 51:40Speaker 3: courses at Fordham and I said, what are you taking me?
- 51:41Speaker 3: And she said, I can't remember, but she goes, you know,
- 51:45Speaker 3: she walks to class and she is able to engage
- 51:50Speaker 3: in conversation with it's at Fordham. There's a program called
- 51:55Speaker 3: I think it's called College at sixty or College after
- 51:58Speaker 3: sixty and it's like adult edution courses. But it's on
- 52:02Speaker 3: the Fordham campus which is at Lincoln Center, which.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Is very very close to my mom's apartment. So for me,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I just love that she has a place to go
- 52:10Speaker 2: and that she wants to go, and that she's so
- 52:14Speaker 2: physically active is great.
- 52:16Speaker 1: That's really cool. Now my next question I'm going to
- 52:19Speaker 1: ask you is, now this is interview Doug time. What
- 52:21Speaker 1: because since you are you know, artistic in an actor,
- 52:26Speaker 1: what is what does your sister do? Because I'm wondering
- 52:28Speaker 1: if you have two artistic children.
- 52:30Speaker 3: So my sister is an attorney, but she's not a
- 52:34Speaker 3: practicing attorney. My mom and I are pretty much the
- 52:36Speaker 3: only non attorneys, uh in the entire extended family. Like
- 52:41Speaker 3: my father, his two brothers, Uncle Pool and Uncle Bobby,
- 52:45Speaker 3: they had a law firm called Buden Buden and Butten
- 52:48Speaker 3: and then swear About. And then Uncle Bobby's son Harlan,
- 52:54Speaker 3: he became an attorney. And Uncle Pool's daughter, my cousin's
- 53:00Speaker 3: Ally and Pammy, they both.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Became Do they all work at Muden?
- 53:05Speaker 3: I think now, well, people, most of the Budens did Harman's.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Now it's a different from altogether. Then they merged with
- 53:12Speaker 3: their friends and it became Buden Rieseman, Schwartz and Goldberg.
- 53:16Speaker 3: And now it's Buden cup for Berg and Bernstein maybe.
- 53:19Speaker 3: And my cousin Harlan is still there.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Doesn't roll off the tongue.
- 53:24Speaker 3: No, But and my mother's father, my grand grandpa George,
- 53:28Speaker 3: he was an attorney, so it was natural and they
- 53:33Speaker 3: all all of the Budens, and I mean I think
- 53:36Speaker 3: it's about nine or ten, they all went to Brooklyn Law.
- 53:40Speaker 3: And when my cousin Pam, who was the youngest one
- 53:45Speaker 3: to graduate from Brooklyn Law, when she graduated, it's it's
- 53:49Speaker 3: sort of a tradition of Brooklyn Law, like if your
- 53:51Speaker 3: sibling or parent went, they get to confer your degree
- 53:56Speaker 3: or diploma on the stage.
- 53:58Speaker 2: And cousin Pam, because my mom and I were there,
- 54:01Speaker 2: they said, you know, Pamela Buden receives her Juris doctorate
- 54:05Speaker 2: from sister Allison, class of whatever.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Cousin Laura, my sister, class of whatever. Cousin Harlan, father Paul,
- 54:14Speaker 3: uncle Jay, and lady said ladies and gentlemen, the Budens,
- 54:17Speaker 3: And it was like my whole family up on the
- 54:19Speaker 3: stage except my.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Mom and me.
- 54:21Speaker 3: So she she then practiced law. Most of them went
- 54:26Speaker 3: into They were like, like, my cousin Pam was an
- 54:30Speaker 3: a DA like out of law and order. She's in
- 54:32Speaker 3: the public Is that a public assistant district attorney?
- 54:35Speaker 1: Yeah, a public defender in Brooklyn. No, if you're a
- 54:39Speaker 1: district attorney, that means you're a prosecutor.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Right right.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Most of them had tried cases in front of Judge
- 54:46Speaker 3: Judy at one point or other. That was like a
- 54:49Speaker 3: big Buden Badge of Honor that all had to appear
- 54:53Speaker 3: in front of Judge Judy. But my sister now has
- 54:58Speaker 3: like a corporate job. She works in Westchester where she lives,
- 55:04Speaker 3: and she has more of a corporate like hybrid where
- 55:07Speaker 3: she can stay home a couple of days a week
- 55:09Speaker 3: and has to go into the office a couple of
- 55:11Speaker 3: days a week.
- 55:14Speaker 2: They met in law school. My brother in law is
- 55:15Speaker 2: also an attorney.
- 55:17Speaker 1: They should name a building or something there a Brook Law.
- 55:21Speaker 1: It should be that to pay for that, Well, yeah,
- 55:24Speaker 1: you have to pay for that, but you know there's
- 55:26Speaker 1: enough lawyers there that everybody, everybody could throw in a
- 55:29Speaker 1: couple of grand and slap your name on a bathroom
- 55:32Speaker 1: or something or stall. Still just something, just something.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Bench.
- 55:38Speaker 3: She asked me to get a bench named after her
- 55:42Speaker 3: in Central Park, and you know that's when you go
- 55:45Speaker 3: to Central Park. Every single bench has a little plaque
- 55:48Speaker 3: on it. But it's hugely expensive. I want to say
- 55:54Speaker 3: fifty grand, but that that sounds even maybe it was
- 55:57Speaker 3: only fifteen.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Whatever it was. I was like, I don't have that,
- 56:01Speaker 2: and I.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Could just go to Amazon and order a plaque and
- 56:04Speaker 3: I'll just double tape, you.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Know, stop it and take a picture and be like, here, mom,
- 56:09Speaker 2: here's your bench.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Just you don't don't do that by your mother the bench. Parma,
- 56:16Speaker 1: I agree, you got to get your mom the bench.
- 56:19Speaker 1: There's a bench at the University of Oklahoma where we
- 56:21Speaker 1: were this weekend celebrating my father in law's birthday. There's
- 56:24Speaker 1: a bench there that has his name and his wife's
- 56:28Speaker 1: name on it. Yeah, and so you go and you
- 56:30Speaker 1: look at the bench and you point to the plaque
- 56:32Speaker 1: and you take a picture.
- 56:33Speaker 2: I love it. I think it's wonderful. I think.
- 56:37Speaker 3: All the benches are spoken for in Central Park already.
- 56:41Speaker 3: So I'm sure you go on some sort of weight list,
- 56:42Speaker 3: but it truly it was like a cost prohibitive.
- 56:46Speaker 2: I couldn't. I don't have it.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I said, get on the wait list and tell your
- 56:50Speaker 1: mom for her ninetieth birthday that you're on the wait
- 56:52Speaker 1: list and you're trying to do it. And now your
- 56:55Speaker 1: time may come off the wait list, and you'll say,
- 56:57Speaker 1: put me back on the wait list. But she doesn't
- 57:00Speaker 1: have to know that part, and she's not going to
- 57:01Speaker 1: listen to this. No, that's true, that's true. Doud tell
- 57:05Speaker 1: me what all you're doing, because I know you're on
- 57:08Speaker 1: Jeff Lewis Live a few times a week and you're
- 57:11Speaker 1: doing cooking kibbuz and what else is going on?
- 57:14Speaker 3: Oh, that's basically it. I mean, I have like my
- 57:17Speaker 3: regular work, I do the radio. I love doing cooking kibbits.
- 57:23Speaker 3: I'm planning a vacation for late spring to go to
- 57:29Speaker 3: Europe with see. My best friend who moved to Rome
- 57:33Speaker 3: is Sal.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Yeah, Sal Sal moved to Rome.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Sal moved to Rome and wow it's been it's been
- 57:41Speaker 3: very tough. But yeah, he moved to Rome and I'm
- 57:46Speaker 3: gonna go visit him there. Uh, and then he and
- 57:50Speaker 3: I are taking each other away for our birthday. So
- 57:53Speaker 3: we're we're choosing right now between Croatia, which I've never
- 57:57Speaker 3: been to but he's been, or Finland, which neither of
- 58:01Speaker 3: us has been to before.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Of our Croatia is just incredible, yeah.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Same, But you don't want to go in the summertime
- 58:08Speaker 3: because it's just to overrun with tourists.
- 58:11Speaker 2: And cruise ships. Yeah, and too hot. So depending on
- 58:17Speaker 2: when we go, maybe that will help decide. But he's
- 58:19Speaker 2: also he's already been to Croatia, so I may have
- 58:22Speaker 2: to save that for a different trip. I'll just take myself,
- 58:26Speaker 2: but I have been wanting to go to Finland for
- 58:30Speaker 2: many years. I love I love Scandinavia. I spent a
- 58:34Speaker 2: fair amount of time in Sweden, sometime in Denmark, and
- 58:39Speaker 2: just like two days of Norway, but Finland zero, so
- 58:43Speaker 2: I'd like to check it out.
- 58:45Speaker 1: You're very well traveled, and anybody that listens to you
- 58:48Speaker 1: on the radio knows that you know all about the
- 58:50Speaker 1: airlines and whatnot. And sometimes I wilsend dug a picture
- 58:53Speaker 1: of my meal if I get a meal on a plane.
- 58:56Speaker 2: I love to travel, I really, you know, it just
- 59:00Speaker 2: reminds us of how big the world is, also how
- 59:05Speaker 2: small the world is, But just seeing how different people
- 59:09Speaker 2: approach life, and how you know, when you go to
- 59:15Speaker 2: I don't know in China, how the mailboxes look different,
- 59:18Speaker 2: just how different life can be everywhere else. It makes
- 59:24Speaker 2: me both appreciate sometimes things that we have here that
- 59:28Speaker 2: we take for granted, but also just how small minded
- 59:34Speaker 2: we can be in our approach to things, just how
- 59:38Speaker 2: different people do different things. Really just experiencing it through
- 59:44Speaker 2: someone else's life. And that's why I always love to
- 59:47Speaker 2: go to a farmer's market or definitely a small grocery store,
- 59:52Speaker 2: even a big grocery store when you're traveling around the world,
- 59:55Speaker 2: just you know, like I remember Sala and I were
- 59:57Speaker 2: in Lisbon. We went to a grocery store and there
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: were like three aibles of ten fish.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: We just we would never have here, and you know,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: so I just I find it fascinating.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Well, and other people come here and they can't believe
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: that we have choices of milk or ketchup or things
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: like that. They're like, why would you have so many
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: choices of these things? I'll tell you that Ingrid, You
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: know Ingrid. We she went. She's gone twice now on
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: these like big European cruises with their parents. So she
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: goes as sort of you know, they want her to go.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: So she's you know, her people are Norwegian. She's from Minnesota,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: and they went to Norway on this last cruise. And
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: first of all, she made a funny joke which was
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: like I'm going to just stay here and claim political
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: asylum because they have to accept me. My name is Ingrid.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: But she said in Norway that what they do in
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: the winter months is this, the government will pay you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to start a club. And if you start a club
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: like a knitting club or a majong club or you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: know checkers. The government will fund your club because they
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: want you to get out of your house and do
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: things and be with other people and not hole up
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: indoors when it snows so much. So she's like, can
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you imagine, you know, and it's also dark, yeah, and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: so dark that they want you to they want you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to keep your mental health.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it bright. You know, in northern Europe in winter time,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: it just doesn't exist.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: And I was so fascinated by that. I was like, wow,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, it could be a wine tasting club.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: They don't care as long as you're doing something to
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: interact with other people. Isn't that crazy?
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: I mean that's the thing is like. Then they don't
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: think twice about it, but to us it's crazy. Or
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: the same thing in those Scandinavian countries where the parents
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: get a year of maternity and paternity leave. Yeah, you know,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: there are a lot of pros and a lot of cons.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: I remember we were in Sweden and everybody was talking
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: about how, you know, they got their free education and
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: they get their free healthcare. And we ordered a round
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: of drinks and we were like a dive bar and
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: around it it was like a couple of hundred dollars
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: and like beers, and they said, oh, yeah, well the
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: tax on alcohol is one hundred percent, things like cigarettes
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: and alcohol, and I guess some other things are one
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: hundred percent because they say, you're like paying for the
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: healthcare in advance that.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: But yeah, so that's I hope I never lose the
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: wonder of traveling around the world, you know, wherever I go.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I know, I hope that too, because I'm always if
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I'm ever thinking about going anywhere, I know that you're
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the person I can ask because you feel like you've
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: been almost everywhere.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: The research it.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: No, that's that's the thing. Think of all. I've still
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: never been to Key West in Florida.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: That is so crazy that you said that, because I
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: have an either my husband's been a few times. He
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: has a work trip he does there, like you know,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: every year or so, and I've never been. But now
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: you're going to love this. So for Ingrid's fiftieth birthday,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: she's just turning fifty this year, a group of us,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: six or seven of us are going on a virgin cruise. Yeah,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: because we were just like, well, it's easy, it's not
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: like crazy expensive. It's not like gross like Carnival, and
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: it's all adults. It'll be fun. So a bunch of
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: us are going. We can each get our own room,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: which I'll love. You have to share. I'll just be
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: an adult. But the first office, Key West, Okay, you
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: have to. You're so excited.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: A friend of mine from high school owns a restaurant there. Okay,
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: it's like a breakfast lunch spot.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never and I've never been, and every time
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: somebody tells me they're going to Key West, and I say, go,
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: say hi to Susie at the breakfast club two toh,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: and I love when people do, and they'll send me
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: a picture because Susie and I were friends in high
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: school and now she and her husband have this very
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: successful you know. It's like a diner, like a like
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: a casual breakfast eatery. Okay, but it's really on my list.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: And the problem is everybody I know has already been,
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: and they all say, you would hate it. You're not
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: gonna like it, it's not you're scene, but I still
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: want to experience it.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna we're literally doing like get on a
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: hop on, hop off bus because there's we're only there
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: a few hours. Yeah, and so we're like, why not,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: we don't know anybody. We're not going to be embarrassed.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: We'll just hop on, hop off.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Give me your other ports of call.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: The others I'm telling you is one of these really
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: tiny things. The other one is in Bimini, and that's
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: where they have like their private islands, and you just
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: go to the private island for the day and otherwise
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: you just float around to the ocean.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Don't say just Bimini, Like, that's not where Danielle Stow
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: had her wedding or her bachelorette party.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: You know, you're right, it's her wedding with a big
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: was it was it her wedding they all went and
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: it has and they decided to play that joke on Marty.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Yeah, the guy she was marrying.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Yeah, they were like she's a pull both or whatever,
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: and then he got angry and they're like, we're just kidding,
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: We're just trying to but they really weren't kidding, and
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: she was a bridezilla.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Is this when Margaret was like, your husband's in
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: the pool, No.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Your husband's in the pool.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: Was back in Jersey, Okay, this was when Yeah, it
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: definitely was inbimity because it just flew into my head.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: PS I was on the phone. I was on the
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: phone with a friend of mine today who reminded me
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: that I reset his password for something and his password
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: is your husband's in the pool on three and that
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: that was because for whatever reason, I was resetting his
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: password because he couldn't do it, and then he was
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: going to log in to change it to something else.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: But what I said it to is your husband's in
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: the pool one, two, three, And he said he never
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: changed it. So that's fast word.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: That's not a bad idea actually for passwords, because you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: constantly have to change. You could just be like, it'll
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: just be different. Bravo quotes.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I use phrases for mine.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: My father in law password used to be on his
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: WiFi because he's a geologist. Rocks are the stuff from
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: which the earth is made. That's too long, and you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: try to do that on your iPhone, You're like, oh
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: damn it, you know, yeah, God.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Forbid on your like TV where.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: You have to you know, move Doug. That's going to
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: be the downfall of our generation, is that doing it
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: on the TV.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: You have to go.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: If there's one of my kids around. I hand it
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to them and they can do it so fast, and
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I'm like, em.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: A, where's back? And then I now have to switch
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: to all caps?
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: How do I switch to cat? Oh my gosh, this
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: is going to be This will be the downfall of
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: our generation. Between that and the remote that you can
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: talk into that doesn't understand my accent. It's like, forget it.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: I just got a text Lap Corp Billing. See, I
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: feel like this could be a scam.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Well did you recently have any blood work done?
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, I was in the er though.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: There you have it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: That's Cedars.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: No, that's it's lap Corp. That's what it is.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Here's what it says.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: It says lab Cork Billing Services. Welcome to lab Corp
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Billing reply, help to help stop to opt out.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: There's no other message, though.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I would wait and see if you got an email
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: where you click to pay the bill. All right, Doug,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: how is your kidney stone question mark?
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Growing? So I passed one.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: I passed the five millimeter, but I still have a
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: nine millimeter stone in my left kidney, which is too
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: big for the human body to pass. So I'm going
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: to have it an electro shock, but it's e s WL.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I forget what it's saying.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Break it down.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: So you lay on the bed.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: They put you out well, because the doctor said, we can't.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: He's like, even if you take a deep breath, because
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: obviously you can't move. And he said, even if you
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: take a deep breath, all of your organs in your
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: body sort of move. And he said, we're we're sending
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: a shock wave strong enough to pulverize a rock. So
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: if we hit something, we don't want to imagine what
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: it would do to your organs. So they put you
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: totally out, and then they zap it with this sound
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: wave that will, in best case scenario, pulverize it to
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: grains of sand, which I'll just pee out. Less ideal
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: will be grains of sand and fragments which I'll just
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: have to hass as very small kidney stones.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Least ideal would be that doesn't break up at all.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: And that's it. Oh, February twelve.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I'm going to write that down so I can make
