- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I begin?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 3: Say?
- 0:02Speaker 4: What are you trying to do?
- 0:03Speaker 5: Beyond the usual controversial talking.
- 0:10Speaker 6: Welcome to one.
- 0:12Speaker 7: To prepare yourself, okay for Craig preparing dext to.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Go here, particulate, stimulated.
- 0:25Speaker 3: There there you go.
- 0:27Speaker 8: You start becoming a gen. Is the Craigncullin Show.
- 0:33Speaker 9: Jesus, oh no dot.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Talk This station is well the ultimate power in the universe.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Your host.
- 0:41Speaker 10: Creg Oh yeah, it's the Craig Collins Show. K SV
- 0:46Speaker 10: the Voice of Texas seven hundred am thrilled to be
- 0:50Speaker 10: with you. So much stuff out there to talk about.
- 0:53Speaker 10: By the way, we have a brand new app. KSV
- 0:56Speaker 10: Radio does have an app. I have been told by
- 0:59Speaker 10: some the it's a little wonky as to whether or
- 1:02Speaker 10: not it's telling you to update or not, although by
- 1:05Speaker 10: and large it seems that the data we have on
- 1:08Speaker 10: the back end, people are figuring it out.
- 1:10Speaker 9: But if you're someone that uses the app and.
- 1:12Speaker 10: You're listening to the radio right now and you're like, hey,
- 1:15Speaker 10: my app isn't doing what it's supposed to do, just
- 1:17Speaker 10: update them. And the best way to do that is
- 1:19Speaker 10: open your app store, click on your name at the
- 1:22Speaker 10: top of the App Store where your profile would be,
- 1:25Speaker 10: and then you can find where you update all your
- 1:27Speaker 10: apps and just say update all, because if you don't
- 1:30Speaker 10: have it automated, there's probably a crap ton of apps
- 1:33Speaker 10: that you don't app to update regularly, and you can
- 1:36Speaker 10: do that. This is for our iTunes app store. Also,
- 1:40Speaker 10: our website has been updated for a live stream that's
- 1:42Speaker 10: a little different than it was before.
- 1:44Speaker 9: And my favorite thing about the.
- 1:46Speaker 10: App, and yes I did make it, so that's probably
- 1:48Speaker 10: one of the other things I like about it. But
- 1:50Speaker 10: my favorite thing about it is that you can watch
- 1:52Speaker 10: YouTube natively, which means you can watch YouTube directly on
- 1:55Speaker 10: the app. So on the bottom you'll see a bunch
- 1:58Speaker 10: of tabs for anybody that actually does this and listens
- 2:01Speaker 10: to this whole tutorial and downloads the thing because of
- 2:03Speaker 10: what I'm saying. But on the bottom, if you click
- 2:05Speaker 10: on the YouTube, you'll then see if somebody's live on YouTube,
- 2:09Speaker 10: the video will be there. Myself. I'm live right now.
- 2:13Speaker 10: Chris was live for the two hours of his show
- 2:15Speaker 10: Chris X just a little bit ago. And then Salsato
- 2:18Speaker 10: does a funny thing and this is very inside the weeds,
- 2:20Speaker 10: So we're gonna immediately get to other stuff, I promise,
- 2:23Speaker 10: But Salsato puts this video up that looks like it's live,
- 2:26Speaker 10: but it's not, so whenever we're not live. If Chris
- 2:29Speaker 10: Salsato has a show the next day, his video will
- 2:33Speaker 10: be there for a while.
- 2:34Speaker 9: But who knows.
- 2:35Speaker 10: We might be able to fix that sometime soon. I
- 2:37Speaker 10: saw I already got a call.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I call her.
- 2:39Speaker 9: What's your name?
- 2:42Speaker 6: Jimmy X. Jimmy X calling from Texas.
- 2:45Speaker 9: Hey, buddy, did you download the brand new app?
- 2:49Speaker 6: I did download the brand new app?
- 2:52Speaker 9: Okay, cool?
- 2:52Speaker 6: I was getting playback failed on the old app. Yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 6: And after three or four turns, I kind of remembered
- 3:00Speaker 6: you guys mentioning that you were upgrading. So I just deleted,
- 3:03Speaker 6: went to the app store, found KSDP, downloaded it, and
- 3:08Speaker 6: I gotta sell the listening audience the new app is smoking.
- 3:13Speaker 9: That's awesome.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Look the feel thank you. All you have to do
- 3:17Speaker 6: is press the button call the show. It's awesome.
- 3:22Speaker 9: Well, and I didn't get You're right, there's a button
- 3:24Speaker 9: that lets you call the show. Thank you. I just
- 3:26Speaker 9: saw that.
- 3:26Speaker 10: Thomas commented on a rumble page that the app is
- 3:29Speaker 10: not working, So do what Jimmy X did. If you
- 3:31Speaker 10: can't find another way to do it, delete the old app,
- 3:34Speaker 10: go to the app store and download it all over again,
- 3:37Speaker 10: and that should be a way to circumvent any of
- 3:39Speaker 10: the challenges you might be having.
- 3:40Speaker 9: But it does auto update.
- 3:42Speaker 10: My mom was able to auto update it, so some
- 3:44Speaker 10: people can do it one way, some people can do
- 3:47Speaker 10: it a different way.
- 3:49Speaker 9: And mom, no offense to her, is.
- 3:50Speaker 10: Not as tech savvy as I am, so I hope
- 3:53Speaker 10: that it's easier than it sounds for everybody.
- 3:55Speaker 9: To get it. But thank you, Jimmy. Did you check
- 3:57Speaker 9: out the YouTube videos to onuit or No?
- 4:01Speaker 6: I did and that was really cool as well. You
- 4:03Speaker 6: just press the YouTube icon, yeah, and you can watch
- 4:07Speaker 6: the show live. What one suggestion and I know you
- 4:10Speaker 6: know it's a higher one process.
- 4:12Speaker 9: It is.
- 4:12Speaker 6: But at the bottom it has the different shows Chris Salsato,
- 4:16Speaker 6: the Three Migos, Chris Back. Yeah, does not have the
- 4:19Speaker 6: Craig Collins show yet, but it would be kind of
- 4:22Speaker 6: instead of just having a little red person sure deal there,
- 4:28Speaker 6: it'd be kind of cool to have the actual icon
- 4:30Speaker 6: of the show.
- 4:31Speaker 9: Share.
- 4:31Speaker 10: I can add the logos, that's fine, I can I
- 4:33Speaker 10: can update that and then I have one sneaky thing, Uh,
- 4:37Speaker 10: Jimmy that I'm only going to tell you. Nobody else
- 4:39Speaker 10: listening pay attention to this. This is just a secret
- 4:41Speaker 10: between Jimmy X and I just us. If you click
- 4:44Speaker 10: click on Salsato's icon, it does not take you to
- 4:48Speaker 10: sal Sato's podcast. It takes you somewhere else. A different
- 4:52Speaker 10: podcast pops up if you click on sal Sato's icon.
- 4:56Speaker 9: At least right now.
- 4:57Speaker 10: I'm promised we're probably gonna fix that too the near future,
- 5:00Speaker 10: before Salsato sends me an email like, Hey, dude, what's
- 5:03Speaker 10: going on here? But if you click that, somebody else
- 5:06Speaker 10: maybe that you mentioned that doesn't have an actual like
- 5:08Speaker 10: on their podcast might be available for you to listen
- 5:11Speaker 10: to if you click that button.
- 5:13Speaker 9: But do you want to? Do you want to talk
- 5:14Speaker 9: about anything? That's go ahead?
- 5:16Speaker 3: No.
- 5:17Speaker 6: The other question I would ask though, is will there
- 5:20Speaker 6: be links to the different podcast as well? So yes,
- 5:25Speaker 6: you know, if you missed the show and you want
- 5:26Speaker 6: to watch it, then you can just go back to
- 5:29Speaker 6: the archives on the app.
- 5:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 10: So the other two buttons should work very soon to
- 5:35Speaker 10: allow you to go listen to like the SoundCloud pages
- 5:38Speaker 10: for Chris X and for the amigos that that'll be
- 5:42Speaker 10: in the next update that's being rolled out here, and
- 5:44Speaker 10: then we'll probably fix the accidental thing that's causing the
- 5:48Speaker 10: wrong podcast to pop up for Salsato, and.
- 5:51Speaker 9: Then maybe my name will be on it too. We'll see.
- 5:53Speaker 10: But yeah, in the next couple of days, I think
- 5:55Speaker 10: there's already gonna be a bug fix update that goes.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Out, Greg, would you and better doing on the on
- 6:02Speaker 6: the station is phenomenal, man, I really appreciate it. You
- 6:06Speaker 6: really brought it into the twenty first entry in twenty
- 6:11Speaker 6: twenty six. But that's okay, and better better late.
- 6:18Speaker 10: Than never, right, Well, Tom, just the same guy commented
- 6:21Speaker 10: the second he has got my app working now. It's awesome.
- 6:24Speaker 10: So another guy, apparently happy with the app changes. I think,
- 6:27Speaker 10: do you want to talk about any news?
- 6:28Speaker 8: Man?
- 6:29Speaker 10: I didn't mean to do like a ten minute app
- 6:31Speaker 10: segment to start the show.
- 6:32Speaker 9: Is there any news you want to discuss?
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:36Speaker 6: Man, I wouldn't mind talking a little. And I cannot
- 6:40Speaker 6: believe these words are going to come out of my mouth.
- 6:43Speaker 9: W NBA, dude, you're not alone. It's crazy how much
- 6:49Speaker 9: we're paying attention to this. Go ahead.
- 6:52Speaker 6: I know, I know, but that for first of all,
- 6:56Speaker 6: God blessed. There's now three former NBA guys NS Freedom, Cancer,
- 7:03Speaker 6: Royce White, and I can't remember the other gentleman's name.
- 7:06Speaker 6: He's a point guard though, which would be really cool
- 7:09Speaker 6: to have all three of them on one team. Okay,
- 7:12Speaker 6: but God bless the courage and their incredible boldness to
- 7:18Speaker 6: come out and push the boundaries right, because that's what
- 7:21Speaker 6: sports is about. But put all three on one team.
- 7:27Speaker 6: I think there's another station in town that won't mention it.
- 7:33Speaker 6: A couple of hosts. One rhymes with Clay, one rhymes
- 7:38Speaker 6: with boss.
- 7:39Speaker 9: Can't figure that out, but that's too difficult. Continue.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Yeah, Clay is actually he got a little bit of
- 7:47Speaker 6: cash and he has talked about bringing a team to Nashville,
- 7:52Speaker 6: where he's from, and he's decided he would like to
- 7:56Speaker 6: call the team the Nashville Balls and have nothing but
- 8:01Speaker 6: transgender players on his team. Very appropriate.
- 8:06Speaker 9: Okay.
- 8:06Speaker 10: Look for anybody that's just becoming aware of some of this,
- 8:09Speaker 10: And as Jimmy said, the WNBA is oddly benefiting in
- 8:14Speaker 10: the sense that there's a lot of people that would
- 8:15Speaker 10: not closely pay attention, maybe to Caitlin Clark and some
- 8:19Speaker 10: of the stuff she's doing for the Indiana fever, but
- 8:21Speaker 10: by and large not really invested in the ongoings of
- 8:25Speaker 10: the WNBA or news stories that surround them. But these
- 8:28Speaker 10: constant controversies seem to be making a lot of US
- 8:32Speaker 10: casual sports fans or fans of other things not the WNBA,
- 8:36Speaker 10: at least pay attention. And there's this dude in France
- 8:41Speaker 10: who's playing, like in a lower level women's league, transgender
- 8:45Speaker 10: guy that pretends he's a woman, that was going to
- 8:48Speaker 10: maybe join the WNBA. The WNBA said that was fine.
- 8:51Speaker 10: And if you look at pictures of this guy, he's
- 8:53Speaker 10: got muscles like a dude. And I think he's dominating
- 8:57Speaker 10: the secondary version of the women's in France because of that,
- 9:02Speaker 10: not just because these guys wanted to troll the WNBA
- 9:05Speaker 10: in general. These former NBA players are now saying, well, look,
- 9:08Speaker 10: if you let one person in that's biologically a dude,
- 9:11Speaker 10: how about a few more, and then the WNBA will
- 9:14Speaker 10: be a joke of a thing. But that's why all
- 9:16Speaker 10: this is happening in the first place. And it is
- 9:19Speaker 10: both bold, as you said, it's courageous, it's also hilarious,
- 9:23Speaker 10: Like I find it very funny and I don't know
- 9:25Speaker 10: if I should. I don't know that I'm supposed to,
- 9:28Speaker 10: but I'm wildly amused by this. And then eventually they're
- 9:31Speaker 10: gonna have to say no to these guys, which then
- 9:33Speaker 10: you think you got to say no to all dudes.
- 9:35Speaker 9: In the WNBA. It shouldn't be this hard to get there,
- 9:38Speaker 9: but somehow it is.
- 9:39Speaker 6: Go ahead, Well, I've seen the video of that person
- 9:44Speaker 6: in France, yeah, and absolutely dominated.
- 9:48Speaker 10: Yeah, Yeah, he's Shaquille O'Neals.
- 9:51Speaker 11: Go ahead, yeah, and so hey, it's a great chance
- 9:55Speaker 11: for some of these former players to go get paid again, right, yeah,
- 9:59Speaker 11: and so why I mean there's no seniors golf tour,
- 10:03Speaker 11: you know, like there is an in professional golf. Let
- 10:06Speaker 11: them go play in the WNBA, right, but force them
- 10:11Speaker 11: to define what a woman is. Okay, maybe you could
- 10:16Speaker 11: bring Kadangi Jackson Brown, whatever.
- 10:20Speaker 9: Her name is, Katanji Brown, Navy.
- 10:23Speaker 6: She could be Yeah, she could be the commissioner. She
- 10:26Speaker 6: would be forced to define what a woman is. Just
- 10:29Speaker 6: say it. I don't know.
- 10:30Speaker 10: Well, the other thing that's really interesting to me, Jimmy
- 10:33Speaker 10: about all this is the idea that Caitlin Clark goes
- 10:35Speaker 10: off and starts her own league Dave Portnoy and other
- 10:38Speaker 10: people have been telling her that Sophie Cunningham is her
- 10:42Speaker 10: teammate who said that transgender dude shouldn't play women's sports.
- 10:46Speaker 9: She got the crap kicked out of her over the weekend.
- 10:48Speaker 10: I guess, which I wouldn't normally know, but as you said,
- 10:51Speaker 10: I'm paying attention to stuff more than I usually do. Like,
- 10:54Speaker 10: somebody elbowed her and knocked her to the ground, and
- 10:57Speaker 10: I don't know if it was just a flagrant fowl
- 10:59Speaker 10: or go ahead.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Greg, No, it was not an elbow. That's came from
- 11:05Speaker 6: behind literally and took her arm and wrapped her arm
- 11:08Speaker 6: around her yack and throw her to the ground.
- 11:10Speaker 9: Christ it was disgusting. Yeah, it's disgusting, yes, and then.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Got on social media instead she was kicked out of
- 11:17Speaker 6: the game because of white privilege.
- 11:19Speaker 9: I remember that part too, Yeah, she tweeted white privilege.
- 11:22Speaker 9: It was disgrace. So it's disgusting.
- 11:24Speaker 10: Yeah, But so part of what they're also talking about,
- 11:26Speaker 10: and Dave Portnoy is pushing them to do this is
- 11:28Speaker 10: some of these women just start their own league, whether
- 11:31Speaker 10: it's here in Europe where they pay more money anyway
- 11:35Speaker 10: for women's basketball and.
- 11:37Speaker 9: I think she should.
- 11:38Speaker 10: I think Caitlyn Clark because I was looking it up.
- 11:41Speaker 10: I don't know if you know this, Jimmy, and I'm
- 11:42Speaker 10: assuming a lot of people kind of do, but don't really.
- 11:45Speaker 10: I was looking up the amount of money that Caitlyn
- 11:48Speaker 10: Clark has assumed to have brought to the w NBA
- 11:51Speaker 10: compared to what it was before, and it is in
- 11:54Speaker 10: the hundreds of millions of dollars. That is the assumption
- 11:58Speaker 10: from this new television deal and the viewership numbers and everything.
- 12:02Speaker 10: One person, Caitlyn Clark has brought a failing league, a
- 12:06Speaker 10: league that needed to be subsidized by the NBA for
- 12:09Speaker 10: years and now is expected moving forward to no longer
- 12:13Speaker 10: need that because of a television contract, solely because of
- 12:16Speaker 10: Caitlyn Clark.
- 12:17Speaker 9: And she has the crap kicked out of her every
- 12:19Speaker 9: day too.
- 12:20Speaker 10: And the players say she's the thirteenth best guard in
- 12:22Speaker 10: the league, which is It's insane to watch people hate
- 12:26Speaker 10: on individuals that I think they're hating on for jealousy
- 12:29Speaker 10: and jealousy alone.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Well, I've never watched the game, but if Ennis Cancer,
- 12:37Speaker 6: Freedom Cancer, and Royce White and this other guy gets
- 12:41Speaker 6: on the team, you bet your I'm watching.
- 12:44Speaker 9: That of course. Of course.
- 12:45Speaker 10: Well, the last thing I'll say, and thank you Jimmy
- 12:47Speaker 10: for the call up. I'm gonna tell you this and
- 12:48Speaker 10: then I'll let you go. If you go and look
- 12:51Speaker 10: up the best w NBA dunks of all time, They're
- 12:56Speaker 10: not great and there's not many of them. I think
- 12:58Speaker 10: there's only like four, and I think Britney Grinder is
- 13:02Speaker 10: one of them. But they're all essentially like just barely
- 13:05Speaker 10: not laying the ball up and dunking it. The amount
- 13:08Speaker 10: of dunks that would happen if you have X NBA
- 13:10Speaker 10: guys in the w NBA and no, that would be
- 13:13Speaker 10: worth the price of admission right there, because the highlight
- 13:16Speaker 10: reel would be insane for that season and it would
- 13:19Speaker 10: all be the dudes actually able to do something different.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Gohead and you know kind you've got a walk up song. Yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 6: imagine them coming on the court and they're and the
- 13:33Speaker 6: and the and the music flairing is right, dude looks
- 13:36Speaker 6: like a lady.
- 13:37Speaker 11: Yes, that's what we.
- 13:38Speaker 6: Want to hear.
- 13:39Speaker 7: Man.
- 13:39Speaker 10: Absolutely, thank you very much for the call Jimmy X
- 13:41Speaker 10: and I want to be clear about something and I
- 13:43Speaker 10: know Jimmy would agree with me on this too, Like
- 13:45Speaker 10: I'm not cheering to laugh at the w NBA itself.
- 13:50Speaker 10: I don't know if I'd really watch the WNBA all
- 13:52Speaker 10: that often for me personally, but a lot of people are.
- 13:55Speaker 10: I'll admit for sure that the viewership, especially for Caitlin Clark,
- 13:59Speaker 10: featured games where the Indiana Fever playing somebody on television,
- 14:03Speaker 10: she gets like one two three million of people tuning in.
- 14:07Speaker 10: The reason this is funny is the policy decisions. It's
- 14:10Speaker 10: not that you're trying to make fun of women's sports
- 14:13Speaker 10: in general, and that NBA guys just want to join
- 14:16Speaker 10: the WNBA because they think it's stupid to begin with.
- 14:19Speaker 10: This wouldn't be happening if the policy itself made sense,
- 14:24Speaker 10: and it just simply does not make sense to the
- 14:26Speaker 10: vast majority of us. We don't comprehend all of the
- 14:30Speaker 10: different aspects of this that make it so wildly stupid
- 14:34Speaker 10: in the first place. That they're doing what they're doing,
- 14:36Speaker 10: I just I don't understand. And so that's part of
- 14:39Speaker 10: the reason I find this funny is that they're allowing
- 14:42Speaker 10: for this version of a discussion to happen around a
- 14:45Speaker 10: league that doesn't need it. They truly don't, and as
- 14:48Speaker 10: far as any sort of jealousy at Caitlin Clark goes.
- 14:53Speaker 10: When Michael Jordan was changing the NBA, and I remember
- 14:57Speaker 10: this as a little kid. I didn't I think full
- 15:00Speaker 10: understand it till I was an adult. But it became
- 15:02Speaker 10: a worldwide league that people cared about, that they watched
- 15:06Speaker 10: that like Michael Jordan was the most famous person on
- 15:09Speaker 10: the planet is what people said about him. And he
- 15:12Speaker 10: absolutely transformed not just the way the game was played
- 15:15Speaker 10: to an extent, but the way in which the game
- 15:17Speaker 10: was consumed well beyond the United States of America and
- 15:20Speaker 10: probably is the reason that today so many great players
- 15:24Speaker 10: in the NBA come from other countries when and I
- 15:28Speaker 10: love this too. This is not the intention of the show,
- 15:31Speaker 10: but I can't help it. I'm a sports fan, and
- 15:33Speaker 10: we did it. I'm gonna blame Jimmy X for this.
- 15:37Speaker 10: I love that when they say the old NBA, the
- 15:39Speaker 10: one where Jordan was the best player, wouldn't be the
- 15:42Speaker 10: same like today's NBA, those players wouldn't be as good
- 15:46Speaker 10: now as they were back then.
- 15:47Speaker 9: Because it's ridiculous.
- 15:49Speaker 10: And also one of the arguments for that is that
- 15:51Speaker 10: the rest of the world is sending their talent now
- 15:54Speaker 10: and back in the nineties, there weren't a ton of
- 15:57Speaker 10: players from other countries. There were some ton We would
- 16:01Speaker 10: go play in the Olympics and just obliterate everybody else.
- 16:05Speaker 10: Everyone else was terrible compared to our team. They're still
- 16:08Speaker 10: supposed to be. The US is still supposed to get
- 16:11Speaker 10: the Olympic gold medal every single Olympics. They don't always
- 16:14Speaker 10: do that anymore, but they're the favorite every single time.
- 16:18Speaker 10: But I remember the way that, like the Dream Team
- 16:20Speaker 10: in ninety two just dominated other people. Similar to this
- 16:23Speaker 10: French dude who's playing in the women's league in France
- 16:26Speaker 10: and crushing people there. So the league itself didn't leave
- 16:31Speaker 10: out talented players that exist at other places. Michael Jordan
- 16:36Speaker 10: created a level of interest in basketball that now exists
- 16:39Speaker 10: throughout the whole world, and it's why so many great
- 16:41Speaker 10: players come from other places. Caitlin Clark, to an extent,
- 16:45Speaker 10: is doing that for the WNBA and on a lower scale,
- 16:48Speaker 10: because she's making it something that people here in the
- 16:51Speaker 10: United States are interested in, because a lot of us
- 16:54Speaker 10: weren't for a long time, and some people are becoming
- 16:57Speaker 10: interested in and for some reason, the people who who
- 17:00Speaker 10: are benefiting from this the most. The people who are
- 17:02Speaker 10: literally making more money because of the interest in Caitlin
- 17:04Speaker 10: Clark are mad at her. And it's just it's surreal
- 17:09Speaker 10: to watch this continue to be a thing that happens.
- 17:10Speaker 10: I just don't I simply don't understand it and the
- 17:13Speaker 10: way that they're now beating the crap at a Sophie Clark,
- 17:15Speaker 10: her teammate, who is a bench player, comes off the
- 17:18Speaker 10: bench for the Indiana Fever and is now a household name.
- 17:22Speaker 10: A WNBA bench player is actually a household name in
- 17:26Speaker 10: twenty twenty six, mostly because of the ridiculous way the
- 17:29Speaker 10: league is governing itself and not necessarily just what's happening
- 17:32Speaker 10: on the floor. And Sophie Cunningham's attractive. I'm sure that's
- 17:35Speaker 10: playing a part of it too. Will take a break.
- 17:38Speaker 10: There's a lot to get to. That's not that, that's
- 17:40Speaker 10: not the WNBA at all, That's not you know, any
- 17:43Speaker 10: of that, Although I do want to talk about AOC
- 17:46Speaker 10: and the fact that she's freezing her eggs, which she's
- 17:48Speaker 10: proud of, which is odd to me because as you
- 17:52Speaker 10: heard on other shows in this station, I like Chris
- 17:55Speaker 10: X talking about it earlier, she's got a fiance. I
- 17:58Speaker 10: don't know why they can't start trying to make babies.
- 18:00Speaker 10: I know you don't always succeed when you do that,
- 18:02Speaker 10: but you can try. But she's going to freeze her eggs,
- 18:04Speaker 10: and part of that feels for like different reasons.
- 18:08Speaker 9: That maybe I'll get into.
- 18:09Speaker 10: And then also I thought something that President Trump said
- 18:11Speaker 10: about some of those winning elections, winning primary races and
- 18:15Speaker 10: whatnot is a really great point. So we'll play some
- 18:18Speaker 10: Trump audio, some AOC audio. Quite a bit coming up
- 18:22Speaker 10: after a quick break. This is the Craig Collins Show KSV,
- 18:26Speaker 10: The Voice of Texas, Thrilled to be with you, every
- 18:29Speaker 10: single a Monday through Friday, from six to seven o'clock
- 18:33Speaker 10: right here.
- 18:33Speaker 9: As I said on the Voice of tex this is the.
- 18:35Speaker 10: Craig Collins Show KSCV, the Voice of Texas, Thrilled to
- 18:39Speaker 10: be with you. A whole lot of stuff out there
- 18:41Speaker 10: to talk about. Let's play some news audio. Let's actually
- 18:44Speaker 10: get to some of these crazy things that I think
- 18:46Speaker 10: are interesting.
- 18:48Speaker 9: AOC, who is freezing her eggs, has.
- 18:51Speaker 10: Also talked quite a bit about if she's still a
- 18:54Speaker 10: member of the Democratic Socialists of America, the New York
- 18:58Speaker 10: City chapter she is in fact, one of those said
- 19:01Speaker 10: members and the Democratic Socialists of America, who I'm going
- 19:04Speaker 10: to make fun of probably every day on this show,
- 19:07Speaker 10: or at least once a week via the three craziest
- 19:10Speaker 10: people that are out there saying stuff every twenty four hours.
- 19:14Speaker 10: But the Democratic Socialist of America, they really do believe
- 19:17Speaker 10: in inevitable communism. They don't all say they believe in
- 19:20Speaker 10: it right away. They want to slow roll us to communism.
- 19:24Speaker 10: So we start with something that looks a whole lot
- 19:27Speaker 10: like communism but still has some level of capitalist society
- 19:32Speaker 10: within it, and then we slowly destroy that by taking
- 19:35Speaker 10: over more and more stuff. But here's AOC saying she's
- 19:38Speaker 10: a proud card carring member of the Democratic Socialist of America.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Are you still a member of Democratic Socialists of America?
- 19:45Speaker 12: Of the New York City chapter?
- 19:46Speaker 6: The New York City chapter, not the national.
- 19:49Speaker 2: What's the difference?
- 19:51Speaker 12: So every DSA chapter is formed locally, and so the
- 19:58Speaker 12: New York City DSA chapter, those folks that you know,
- 20:00Speaker 12: it's my it's kind of like your local union chapter.
- 20:04Speaker 10: Okay, yeah, yeah, And I like them, and I like
- 20:07Speaker 10: the things they say. Apparently, is what AOC is saying there,
- 20:10Speaker 10: And some of the other crazy Democratic Socialists of America
- 20:13Speaker 10: other places are saying more insane stuff, and so she's
- 20:16Speaker 10: not a fan of them.
- 20:17Speaker 9: I love that she needed to make that.
- 20:19Speaker 10: Specificity like important to all of us, that it's just
- 20:23Speaker 10: the New York chapter, not the rest of the country
- 20:27Speaker 10: and all the again crazy stuff they're saying because they
- 20:30Speaker 10: are insane. They want to get rid of a lot
- 20:34Speaker 10: of the things that these politicians have, which.
- 20:36Speaker 9: Are their jobs now.
- 20:38Speaker 10: Granted, I love the idea of firing a whole bunch
- 20:41Speaker 10: of our politicians. I don't love the idea of putting
- 20:45Speaker 10: in the head honcho of whatever instead of the president.
- 20:49Speaker 10: Like I don't love that. I love a lot of
- 20:51Speaker 10: the people who are currently part of the the political
- 20:55Speaker 10: establishment that is absolutely fraudulent and corrupt. I like the
- 21:00Speaker 10: idea of them getting fired, but I want other people
- 21:02Speaker 10: to be put in places and positions of power how
- 21:05Speaker 10: the founding fathers envisioned it, that actually would do things
- 21:08Speaker 10: for us and not just do things for themselves instead
- 21:11Speaker 10: of the thing that the Democratic Socialists want, which is,
- 21:14Speaker 10: you know, just fire people and have nothing. That's part
- 21:17Speaker 10: of the plan that makes the least sense to me,
- 21:20Speaker 10: Like you get rid of the police, and instead of
- 21:23Speaker 10: the police, you got nothing. Or I think you have
- 21:25Speaker 10: a bunch of social workers that show up to situations
- 21:28Speaker 10: that might become violent, that have no training for anything violent,
- 21:32Speaker 10: and the assumption is that the social workers will be
- 21:35Speaker 10: able to calm everybody down, so nobody violent does violent stuff.
- 21:38Speaker 10: That's not a good plan, every single version of I
- 21:41Speaker 10: want to replace this with this, and then of course
- 21:44Speaker 10: taking over like the means of production and make it
- 21:46Speaker 10: impossible for businesses to succeed as bad. But the thing
- 21:50Speaker 10: I think is really crazy about the socialists, the Democratic
- 21:54Speaker 10: Communists is how little they seem to plan out the
- 21:57Speaker 10: what comes next part, Like they're evidently dumb in how
- 22:01Speaker 10: they expose themselves as being incapable of coming up with.
- 22:05Speaker 9: A new plan.
- 22:06Speaker 10: It's actually very similar to Kamala Harris and how she
- 22:09Speaker 10: ran her terrible presidential campaign in the few month windows
- 22:13Speaker 10: she got to do it. What I mean by that
- 22:15Speaker 10: is there were a whole bunch of this is bad,
- 22:17Speaker 10: it's broken, it needs to go away. What's your plan
- 22:20Speaker 10: to fix it? I don't know who knows A version
- 22:23Speaker 10: of it, which is probably not a good road to go.
- 22:26Speaker 10: The President of the United States also talked about the
- 22:28Speaker 10: jahadists who are being elected, the communists and the Jahadists.
- 22:32Speaker 10: There are a lot of people who seem to be
- 22:34Speaker 10: very much in support of what seems to be terrorists,
- 22:38Speaker 10: what I would describe as terrorists and what most people
- 22:40Speaker 10: used to call a terrorists. Here's a little bit about
- 22:43Speaker 10: here's a little bit excuse me of the president talking
- 22:45Speaker 10: about that. What recommendations do you have for Republicans, you know,
- 22:49Speaker 10: heading into mid terms right now, and our Democrats put
- 22:51Speaker 10: the candidates they're putting forward making life easier for all.
- 22:54Speaker 3: The one thing is we have jihadis being elected all
- 22:57Speaker 3: over the place. We have this, whether it's communism, gidism.
- 23:01Speaker 3: It's a lot of friend of mine called up you said,
- 23:04Speaker 3: you don't really you should use the word jihadis because
- 23:07Speaker 3: that's what's happening. And I'm not sure that anybody if
- 23:10Speaker 3: you take a look at what happens and other countries,
- 23:13Speaker 3: I think that's not going to be necessarily the way
- 23:15Speaker 3: we want to live.
- 23:16Speaker 9: But probably not when.
- 23:18Speaker 3: We look at the radicalism and the craziness of the
- 23:20Speaker 3: candidates and the stupidity of what they're suggesting. Let's get
- 23:24Speaker 3: rid of the Supreme Court let's get rid of the presidency,
- 23:26Speaker 3: Let's get rid of the Senate. They want to get
- 23:29Speaker 3: Sometimes I'd like to get rid of the Senate too,
- 23:32Speaker 3: but I don't say it, and I wouldn't do it.
- 23:35Speaker 3: But you know, they want to get rid of the Senate.
- 23:37Speaker 3: They want to get rid of ideally the House, but
- 23:40Speaker 3: they're thinking about maybe keeping the house. You know, it's
- 23:43Speaker 3: back for These are people that have been not successful.
- 23:47Speaker 9: They are people that have been in my kay.
- 23:49Speaker 10: Well, I actually want to stop right there because I
- 23:51Speaker 10: love that point. And you can hate it or love
- 23:54Speaker 10: it because Trump said it if you want to, but
- 23:57Speaker 10: I do love it people that are not successful because
- 24:01Speaker 10: there's a lot of people in this society that want
- 24:03Speaker 10: to blame everyone but themselves for any level of struggle
- 24:07Speaker 10: that they have. And look, I've been through ups and downs.
- 24:09Speaker 10: You've probably been through ups and downs listening to this
- 24:12Speaker 10: radio station. You know, not everything that happens to you
- 24:15Speaker 10: is one hundred percent your fault.
- 24:17Speaker 9: Like you know that.
- 24:18Speaker 10: You know you've been in a situation where you might
- 24:20Speaker 10: have been treated unfairly for one reason or another. But
- 24:23Speaker 10: the solution to that problem, the issue of man, this
- 24:27Speaker 10: didn't go my way isn't to go ahead and try
- 24:30Speaker 10: to blame other people until someone gives you something for free.
- 24:34Speaker 10: Because the thing that most people have to teach their
- 24:36Speaker 10: children is that life doesn't work that way. You don't
- 24:40Speaker 10: get what you want just by screaming louder than everyone
- 24:42Speaker 10: else that you want it. You only actually get what
- 24:46Speaker 10: you want by going out and taking it, and you
- 24:48Speaker 10: might have.
- 24:49Speaker 9: To try multiple times. I've said this.
- 24:52Speaker 10: I don't know if it's on this show, but other
- 24:54Speaker 10: times other places that Rush Limbaugh in my field my profession,
- 24:59Speaker 10: is a great exam of someone who refused to lose
- 25:02Speaker 10: because he was fired. A bunch a bunch of people
- 25:05Speaker 10: who listened to the station will tell me how much
- 25:07Speaker 10: they love Rush, And I was a fan of Rush,
- 25:09Speaker 10: so I'm not criticizing you for saying that, but I
- 25:12Speaker 10: think people are unaware of how many starts and stops
- 25:16Speaker 10: he had in his career, the amount of people who
- 25:18Speaker 10: ran him out of places. I actually have worked with
- 25:21Speaker 10: a consultant who was a traffic guy for Rush Limbaugh
- 25:25Speaker 10: when he was in Sacramento, and the consultant became pretty prominent,
- 25:29Speaker 10: wound up working with a lot of other people like
- 25:31Speaker 10: Glenn Beck and whatnot. But I remember him telling me
- 25:34Speaker 10: the first day he heard Rush on the air, he
- 25:37Speaker 10: thought a listener got a hold of the microphone and
- 25:40Speaker 10: was saying a bunch of crazy stuff and it wasn't
- 25:43Speaker 10: actually a radio host.
- 25:44Speaker 9: That was how the.
- 25:45Speaker 10: Industry first perceived Rush, and it took a while for
- 25:50Speaker 10: Rush to demonstrate his skill set to the morons that
- 25:53Speaker 10: run a lot of radio places and not KSV. By
- 25:57Speaker 10: the way, this was one of the first places to
- 25:59Speaker 10: take his national show, so KSV is an exception to
- 26:02Speaker 10: this rule for sure, But a lot of dumb people
- 26:05Speaker 10: who run a lot of stuff within this industry thought
- 26:08Speaker 10: he was terrible, and they kept firing him, they kept
- 26:10Speaker 10: taking away his jobs, and eventually he became the most
- 26:13Speaker 10: successful radio guy in the last however many years, and
- 26:17Speaker 10: certainly someone that most people say will never have a
- 26:21Speaker 10: person like him again. And so it's just fascinating to
- 26:24Speaker 10: me that if you talk to someone again, not specifically
- 26:29Speaker 10: about radio, but about anything, and they tell you that
- 26:32Speaker 10: they've had a lot of unfair stuff happen in their life.
- 26:36Speaker 10: I also think about and I know I opened the
- 26:38Speaker 10: show with this, so I'll go ahead and say this
- 26:40Speaker 10: now too. Michael Jordan Michael Jordan talks about all the
- 26:44Speaker 10: shots that he missed in his career, his very very
- 26:48Speaker 10: famous NBA career, and all the last second shots he
- 26:51Speaker 10: made and how clutch he was. And there's a whole
- 26:54Speaker 10: commercial out there. You know what, I'm going to find
- 26:56Speaker 10: the MJ commercial, MJ missed shots commercial, because I feel
- 27:00Speaker 10: like this is worth playing. And this might be the
- 27:04Speaker 10: most preaching to the choir kind of thing I've ever
- 27:07Speaker 10: done on this radio station, because by and large, my
- 27:10Speaker 10: assumption is the vast majority of people out there who
- 27:14Speaker 10: listen to this radio show are not people that need
- 27:17Speaker 10: to be told this, but young people do. Young people
- 27:20Speaker 10: need to be told the solution to your problem, regardless
- 27:23Speaker 10: of who caused it, you or someone else, is you.
- 27:26Speaker 10: It's not other people. It's not getting a handout of
- 27:29Speaker 10: some kind. It is one hundred percent you doing whatever
- 27:32Speaker 10: you need to do to push yourself to the place
- 27:35Speaker 10: you need to get to to where you, in fact
- 27:37Speaker 10: are successful. And until you get there, until that happens
- 27:41Speaker 10: for you, no one else is going to give you
- 27:44Speaker 10: anything for free. That's the best way to say it.
- 27:47Speaker 10: And a lot of young people just seem to refuse
- 27:49Speaker 10: this basic concept. And I don't know why, but here
- 27:52Speaker 10: I want to play this. This is Michael Jordan talking
- 27:55Speaker 10: about failure, which I always think about whenever I have
- 27:58Speaker 10: something challenging happen to me. Whether I can find some
- 28:01Speaker 10: sort of fault that I believe I could have done different,
- 28:05Speaker 10: like I could have fixed this or that, whatever the
- 28:07Speaker 10: situation might be professional or you know, with my wife
- 28:11Speaker 10: or something.
- 28:13Speaker 9: And then you also reflect on what you need to
- 28:14Speaker 9: do next. And what you need to do.
- 28:15Speaker 10: Next is is not give up, not surrender, and not
- 28:18Speaker 10: tell other people they have to give you stuff.
- 28:20Speaker 9: Here we go.
- 28:24Speaker 2: I've missed more than nine thousand shots in my career.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I've lost almost three hundred games twenty six times. I've
- 28:35Speaker 2: been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Have failed over and over and over again in my life.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And that is why I succeed.
- 28:50Speaker 9: Oh, it's such a good commercial.
- 28:51Speaker 10: That was a Nike commercial that I loved, loved, loved
- 28:54Speaker 10: when it first came out. That had to be in
- 28:56Speaker 10: the late nineties. But it's one hundred percent true. Michael
- 28:59Speaker 10: Jordan was the kind of person that allowed failure to
- 29:03Speaker 10: motivate him. The failure could be his, the failure could
- 29:06Speaker 10: be somebody else's It did not matter what Mike did next.
- 29:09Speaker 10: And what winners do next is they keep going, They
- 29:13Speaker 10: keep pushing as hard as they can through whatever this
- 29:16Speaker 10: stuff is that winds up being the roadblock, and that inevitably,
- 29:19Speaker 10: whenever you get to the point where you're trying to
- 29:22Speaker 10: get to, you get to take all the credit. That's
- 29:24Speaker 10: the best part of it too. If somebody gives you
- 29:26Speaker 10: too many helping hands, you don't get to take the credit.
- 29:29Speaker 10: I'll tell you one other thing that I probably shouldn't
- 29:32Speaker 10: say on the radio, but I'm going to say it,
- 29:33Speaker 10: and then I'll take another break. I have a family
- 29:36Speaker 10: member that's a very high falutin, very fancy radio person,
- 29:40Speaker 10: and at a lot of times in my career, through
- 29:43Speaker 10: ups and downs, especially more recently when the person became
- 29:47Speaker 10: more well known, and I've been interviewed him on the
- 29:49Speaker 10: show before. So i can tell you who it is,
- 29:51Speaker 10: but for the sake of this point, I'm not going
- 29:53Speaker 10: to do it. But you can promptly figure it out.
- 29:55Speaker 10: But anyway, I've been told by friends, by family like
- 29:58Speaker 10: just ask that guy, just that guy, to help you
- 30:00Speaker 10: get some gig somewhere. I get a favor from him,
- 30:04Speaker 10: and I never want to do that. I'm cut from
- 30:06Speaker 10: that cloth of go out and earn it yourself, because
- 30:09Speaker 10: otherwise it doesn't mean as much. You should go do
- 30:12Speaker 10: something without the favor being handed to you to be
- 30:15Speaker 10: the thing that you need to do. And so I'm
- 30:18Speaker 10: more proud of myself when those things occur, and I
- 30:22Speaker 10: think a lot of younger people need that sense of man.
- 30:26Speaker 10: I feel a different version of pride when I go
- 30:30Speaker 10: win when someone doesn't actually hand most of the win
- 30:34Speaker 10: to me, but when I do it on my own,
- 30:36Speaker 10: I want to play one more thing before I take
- 30:38Speaker 10: a break. Actually, because it is specific to the Democratic
- 30:40Speaker 10: Socialist of America, this is Joe Scarborough losing his mind
- 30:45Speaker 10: talking about Hamas and other stuff on his show. I
- 30:49Speaker 10: do think it's interesting this went pretty viral that part
- 30:53Speaker 10: of the Democratic establishment is in and of itself melting
- 30:57Speaker 10: down because of the Democratic Socialists crazy things they think.
- 31:01Speaker 10: I don't think it will save the Democratic Party in
- 31:04Speaker 10: the midterm election. I think a lot of the Democrats
- 31:07Speaker 10: who are actually in positions of power are selling out.
- 31:10Speaker 10: They believe that the Socialists could win elections. So let's
- 31:14Speaker 10: let them go ahead and do that. Let's pretend we
- 31:16Speaker 10: all agree with them, and then once they actually get
- 31:19Speaker 10: into positions of power, if that very scarily like happened.
- 31:23Speaker 9: Then I think they'll tell them all to shut up.
- 31:25Speaker 10: And I think some of the socialists will struggle to
- 31:27Speaker 10: shut up the communists. There's another way to say it.
- 31:30Speaker 10: But I didn't think this was interesting on Morning Joe.
- 31:32Speaker 1: But you also have people in New York City that
- 31:34Speaker 1: have been saying some whacked out things. I think most
- 31:38Speaker 1: mainstream voters would say they're whacked out things when they're
- 31:41Speaker 1: talking about going to pro Hamas rallies the day after
- 31:46Speaker 1: Hamas lauted more Jews and on any day since the Holocaust,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I think ninety percent of Americans would think that is abhortant.
- 31:55Speaker 1: And so you know, again they'll try to blur lines,
- 32:00Speaker 1: Oh well, they just don't support healthcare for all, or
- 32:02Speaker 1: oh no, we're not saying that, we just support hate
- 32:05Speaker 1: speech and and but.
- 32:08Speaker 3: It is old.
- 32:09Speaker 10: He did say we support hate speech.
- 32:11Speaker 9: If you were thinking that you misheard that, you didn't.
- 32:13Speaker 10: I think he meant to say something else Scarborough right there,
- 32:16Speaker 10: but he did say we support hate speech.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Very important though, Why are we talking about the essay now?
- 32:21Speaker 4: Because the Democratic Party has a choice to make now.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I said this, stay in and day out leading up
- 32:27Speaker 4: to Kamala Harris's election. You couldn't watch an NFL game
- 32:35Speaker 4: without seeing three hundred taxpayers are going to pay for
- 32:40Speaker 4: trans surgeries for convicts ads.
- 32:44Speaker 10: Yes, because they were terrible, because the positions were terrible.
- 32:47Speaker 10: And by the way, I want to correct one other
- 32:49Speaker 10: thing that Joe just said there. He said Kamala's election,
- 32:53Speaker 10: she actually didn't get elected to anything. She, of course,
- 32:55Speaker 10: thank god, did not get elected to be the next
- 32:57Speaker 10: president of the United States. President Trump won that game,
- 33:00Speaker 10: but she actually wasn't elected at any time before that,
- 33:04Speaker 10: and that seems to matter. Within the twenty twenty four
- 33:07Speaker 10: campaign season, she didn't win a single primary. So they
- 33:11Speaker 10: often talk about how a certain side of the political
- 33:14Speaker 10: aisle of the socialists or whatever you want to call them,
- 33:17Speaker 10: the dictators, the communists of the world, the totalitarian state,
- 33:23Speaker 10: you pick your own adjective. And yet the only person
- 33:27Speaker 10: who actually almost became president and thank god that didn't happen,
- 33:31Speaker 10: who didn't win a single primary, is a Democrat.
- 33:34Speaker 9: We'll take a quick break, we'll come back.
- 33:35Speaker 10: We'll have a little bit more fun with some news
- 33:38Speaker 10: stuff in the fastest hour in radio.
- 33:41Speaker 9: And then after that we'll try to have fun that
- 33:43Speaker 9: has nothing.
- 33:43Speaker 10: To do with news, because you got to talk about
- 33:45Speaker 10: stuff that is not news, otherwise we all go crazy.
- 33:49Speaker 10: But thrilled to be with you, as I am every
- 33:51Speaker 10: day on this radio station a KSV, the Voice of Tech.
- 33:55Speaker 10: This is the Craig Collins Show, KSSEV, the Voice of Texas.
- 33:58Speaker 9: Thrilled to be with you.
- 34:00Speaker 10: So I do want to play some audio of Robert
- 34:02Speaker 10: of Kennedy Jr. Because it's very often that I personally
- 34:06Speaker 10: think about the thing my wife is most happy about
- 34:10Speaker 10: within the current administration, or that probably a lot of
- 34:13Speaker 10: people I, like my wife, were happy about, and it
- 34:15Speaker 10: is the attempt to make our food healthier. Like that's
- 34:18Speaker 10: way above. They call these the MAHA people that make
- 34:21Speaker 10: America healthy again individuals, and Robert of Kennedy Junior has
- 34:26Speaker 10: done a tremendous job in trying to force that down
- 34:29Speaker 10: the gullets of the American people and thus also our system,
- 34:34Speaker 10: because he's gotten a lot of things done in doing
- 34:38Speaker 10: a way with harmful additives and food. Some of it
- 34:41Speaker 10: it's still going to be a bit before we see
- 34:43Speaker 10: the significance of this, But like red forty is a
- 34:47Speaker 10: color additive in food that my wife hates, and I
- 34:49Speaker 10: know Robert of Kennedy Junior got rid of it, so
- 34:52Speaker 10: in the near future nobody can have it anymore. That
- 34:55Speaker 10: seems like a good thing. That seems like just a
- 34:57Speaker 10: wholeheartedly good thing. He went viral. The secretary did HHS
- 35:03Speaker 10: secretary talking about a lot of the changes he's made.
- 35:07Speaker 10: I like a lot of this stuff, and I feel
- 35:09Speaker 10: like this does not get touted enough here we go.
- 35:11Speaker 7: That brings me back to grass. When I came to AHHS,
- 35:15Speaker 7: I asked the FDA how many ingredients do we have
- 35:19Speaker 7: in our food? And they said they didn't know.
- 35:22Speaker 2: They said it.
- 35:23Speaker 7: Could be four thousand.
- 35:24Speaker 9: That's not good. It could be twelve thousand, this isn't good.
- 35:27Speaker 7: It's probably somewhere around ten thousand. To think about that.
- 35:32Speaker 7: We don't even know exactly how many chemicals are in
- 35:35Speaker 7: the food at Americans eat every day, and the food
- 35:39Speaker 7: industry continues to develop novel compounds and chemical combinations that
- 35:45Speaker 7: do not exist in nature. Our bodies did not evolve
- 35:50Speaker 7: consuming many of these substances, and that makes rigorous science
- 35:56Speaker 7: and transparent safety review even more important, especially as we've
- 36:02Speaker 7: learned more and more about the role of ultra processed
- 36:05Speaker 7: food and children chronic inflammation.
- 36:09Speaker 10: And all other diseases. Ultra process food is terrible for us.
- 36:14Speaker 10: We're aware of this. I thought it was really interesting too,
- 36:16Speaker 10: because he goes even deeper into the past year the
- 36:19Speaker 10: amount of real food that has outpaced ultra process food
- 36:23Speaker 10: being sold here in the United States. Cereal is one
- 36:25Speaker 10: of the bigger examples of a thing where changes are
- 36:28Speaker 10: happening again. And they say that Republicans or Conservatives aren't
- 36:32Speaker 10: good at delivering their positive messages, like they're just bad
- 36:36Speaker 10: at communicating, which is true. The good things, the winds,
- 36:41Speaker 10: these are wins, and they're wins that a lot of
- 36:43Speaker 10: people in the suburbs, a lot of women who hate
- 36:46Speaker 10: Trump so much they can't vote for anyone like Trump,
- 36:49Speaker 10: they claim in a lot of the media places the
- 36:51Speaker 10: claim it they actually are like really happy with this stuff.
- 36:54Speaker 10: So if you believe that there's conservatives out there who
- 36:57Speaker 10: are as anti Trump as the left claims that there are,
- 37:01Speaker 10: which I don't actually believe that, then maybe those individuals
- 37:04Speaker 10: need to hear this message.
- 37:05Speaker 7: Changing the dietary culture in our country. And we're seeing
- 37:10Speaker 7: those results already Over the past year, sales growth of
- 37:14Speaker 7: real food outpaced ultrass food for the first time by
- 37:18Speaker 7: approximate at least seven an industry is responding. Food companies
- 37:24Speaker 7: across the country have made extraordinary commitments to reformulate their
- 37:28Speaker 7: products and remove artificial dies. Just last week, Kellogg announced
- 37:34Speaker 7: that it will eliminate artificial colors from all of it
- 37:37Speaker 7: cereals Good Are the end of twenty twenty six, full
- 37:41Speaker 7: year ahead of schedule. Graft Hinds, General Mills, Nestley, ConAgra, JM, Smucker,
- 37:50Speaker 7: and Oots are all among the companies that have also
- 37:53Speaker 7: made major commitments to remove artificial colors and many other additives.
- 37:59Speaker 10: From their Yeah, you know what's really interesting about this
- 38:02Speaker 10: is that definitely my generation grew up eating a bunch
- 38:05Speaker 10: of stuff we probably shouldn't have eaten. And I think
- 38:07Speaker 10: the idea and the reason that I don't blame my
- 38:10Speaker 10: mother at all for this, or anybody should blame their
- 38:12Speaker 10: parents for this, is they used to say the kids
- 38:14Speaker 10: could eat whatever they wanted and it's just going to
- 38:16Speaker 10: spit back out of their system and be fine.
- 38:19Speaker 9: And we didn't know how bad some of these ingredients were.
- 38:21Speaker 10: But a lot of these foods that are changing are
- 38:23Speaker 10: foods that kids consume a whole lot of. And when
- 38:27Speaker 10: you see an uptick in the amount of people and
- 38:29Speaker 10: say their thirties and forties that have serious illnesses, you
- 38:32Speaker 10: know it came from somewhere. And so what I find
- 38:35Speaker 10: so fascinating about this a simple topic, and part of
- 38:38Speaker 10: the reason I wanted to talk about it before we
- 38:41Speaker 10: do some sillier stuff and get out of here, is
- 38:43Speaker 10: how universal this should be, you know, And I feel
- 38:47Speaker 10: like that's an ongoing theme in the show. There's certain
- 38:49Speaker 10: things I talk about the fight against Iran. There is
- 38:53Speaker 10: an aspect to it that should have universal praise. Trying
- 38:56Speaker 10: to upend a regime that kills a bunch of innocent
- 38:59Speaker 10: civilians all the time is the kind of thing that
- 39:03Speaker 10: the left is used to praising. When the left does it,
- 39:06Speaker 10: when their own leaders, their own politicians, fight against, you know,
- 39:09Speaker 10: the atrocities in the world, they all sing how great
- 39:12Speaker 10: these people are. For some reason, that's not a component
- 39:15Speaker 10: of the Iran conflict as far as mainstream media is
- 39:18Speaker 10: concerned and President Trump is concerned. This also feels like
- 39:22Speaker 10: another moment where or even just outing a bunch of
- 39:24Speaker 10: corruption that I talk about a lot on this show,
- 39:27Speaker 10: and fraud mostly within a medical you know, things that
- 39:31Speaker 10: we should not be paying for. The amount of fraud
- 39:35Speaker 10: in the world of medicine, at least with our government
- 39:38Speaker 10: is ridiculous. Not just Anthony Fauci and all the fraudulent
- 39:41Speaker 10: things he did, but the amount of fake companies that
- 39:44Speaker 10: can get money from the government by claiming that they're
- 39:46Speaker 10: doing it for some sort of medical nursing home type
- 39:50Speaker 10: of reason is scary and that should be just a
- 39:53Speaker 10: universal thing that hey, good.
- 39:55Speaker 9: Job, well done. There one last thing I want to play.
- 39:59Speaker 10: I thought this was a interesting Fox News put Mamdami's
- 40:03Speaker 10: free agenda under the microscope to show how the true
- 40:07Speaker 10: cost of everything that he's claiming is going to be
- 40:09Speaker 10: free or is starting to become free in New.
- 40:12Speaker 9: York is actually exactly what everybody thought.
- 40:14Speaker 10: It was tremendously expensive and that you know, essentially, you're
- 40:19Speaker 10: gonna wind up paying a crap ton more money in
- 40:21Speaker 10: taxes if you live in New York because Mumdanie is
- 40:24Speaker 10: doing free stuff that he then needs to make money
- 40:28Speaker 10: in order to pay for and the government has a
- 40:30Speaker 10: unique way to do that.
- 40:32Speaker 9: You get it.
- 40:32Speaker 10: You can figure this out. Here's Fox News talking about it.
- 40:35Speaker 5: So let's take a look at what his agenda is.
- 40:37Speaker 5: We're talking about the mayor of New York City, which
- 40:39Speaker 5: could be a mayor in coming your way. Independent estimate
- 40:42Speaker 5: is a nine billion a year for universal childcare. Guess
- 40:45Speaker 5: what he said it was going to be five to
- 40:47Speaker 5: six billion dollars a year. So it's forty percent more
- 40:49Speaker 5: than he thought.
- 40:49Speaker 8: The word the keyware here, folks, is estimate. Okay, remember
- 40:52Speaker 8: the runaway train. The train of nowhere in California, I
- 40:55Speaker 8: think is somewhere like ten twenty thirty times overestimate. They've
- 40:59Speaker 8: got enough track to go from me to you. I mean,
- 41:01Speaker 8: so these numbers are scary. This is an estimate. To
- 41:04Speaker 8: your point, it was almost half of that just a
- 41:06Speaker 8: few months ago.
- 41:07Speaker 9: This is never going to happen.
- 41:08Speaker 8: The free buses.
- 41:09Speaker 5: People are getting on the bus and they're not paying
- 41:11Speaker 5: because they think it started already. TA can't afford not
- 41:14Speaker 5: to charge Independent. That'simate one point one billion dollars. It
- 41:17Speaker 5: would bankrupt the system. Don't expect the free buses.
- 41:20Speaker 8: It would be a boondoggle anyway. It would just be
- 41:22Speaker 8: an absolute, unmitigated nightmare. And again it's you know, this
- 41:26Speaker 8: whole thing is Brian. Systems are created right. Capitalism build
- 41:30Speaker 8: of wealth, it builds systems, and socialism, communism, it's a parasite.
- 41:34Speaker 8: It's a parasite that has to be on top of capitalism.
- 41:38Speaker 5: He's got to fail for people to realize this city
- 41:40Speaker 5: run grocery store seventy million dollars.
- 41:42Speaker 10: He's gonna, yeah, seventy million dollars a startup investment, by
- 41:45Speaker 10: the way for a city run grocery stores, and then
- 41:47Speaker 10: a whole bunch of more money is going to have
- 41:48Speaker 10: to be found because they're definitely going to be losing
- 41:51Speaker 10: money at those grocery stores with how much they're claiming
- 41:53Speaker 10: they're going to.
- 41:54Speaker 9: Sell stuff for.
- 41:55Speaker 10: It's it's just it's insane. There's so many versions of
- 41:58Speaker 10: the same repair. This is a terrible idea that you
- 42:02Speaker 10: shouldn't do. And some of it New York's going to try,
- 42:05Speaker 10: and a whole lot of it New York's going to
- 42:06Speaker 10: fail at and they're going to demand more money from everybody,
- 42:09Speaker 10: claim that they're taking it from the rich. I say
- 42:12Speaker 10: this all the time too, whenever I talk about this topic.
- 42:15Speaker 10: The rich are very good at avoiding giving you money,
- 42:18Speaker 10: and they'll do anything to avoid giving you money, including.
- 42:21Speaker 9: Leave, which they have every ability to do.
- 42:23Speaker 7: So.
- 42:24Speaker 10: Eventually, most democratic plans that heavily involve taxing the rich
- 42:29Speaker 10: wind up being man, we didn't make enough money off
- 42:31Speaker 10: of those guys, so now we got to take it
- 42:33Speaker 10: from the rest of you, because again, the people who
- 42:36Speaker 10: are wealthy have the means to pay the right accountants
- 42:40Speaker 10: to figure out the loopholes.
- 42:41Speaker 9: Actually, I saw this.
- 42:43Speaker 10: I'll talk about this just real quick because I want
- 42:45Speaker 10: to play something silly before we get out of here.
- 42:47Speaker 9: I saw a comment on one of the Facebook or
- 42:50Speaker 9: YouTube videos that we.
- 42:51Speaker 10: Put out and we're putting more shorts out there. Lucas Hall,
- 42:56Speaker 10: who's one of our producer people here, is doing a
- 42:58Speaker 10: great job of putting a lot of this content out
- 43:01Speaker 10: on social media, and you should check it out because
- 43:03Speaker 10: like it's just one two minute clips of all the
- 43:05Speaker 10: different shows of Chris X, of myself, of the Amigos.
- 43:10Speaker 10: I think Salcedo has got some in there too. But essentially,
- 43:13Speaker 10: these these little things are gaining a lot of traction
- 43:16Speaker 10: on social media, more than we had before. And I
- 43:20Speaker 10: saw somebody make a comment about how IBM and all
- 43:23Speaker 10: these big companies don't pay any taxes year over year,
- 43:26Speaker 10: they pay nothing, and that's not true, just for the
- 43:30Speaker 10: sake of arguing within that argument. For a second, there
- 43:34Speaker 10: are definitely years where those big companies do not pay
- 43:37Speaker 10: taxes and in fact write off a whole bunch of
- 43:39Speaker 10: losses like every other company that exists in our country.
- 43:43Speaker 10: But if you look back in the last ten years
- 43:44Speaker 10: and you just use one example that the person who
- 43:47Speaker 10: commented on social media use IBM, it's a bunch of
- 43:50Speaker 10: years where they paid a ton of taxes because if
- 43:52Speaker 10: they admit they had some profits, or if they can't,
- 43:55Speaker 10: you know, find a way to lose said profits, then
- 43:58Speaker 10: they pay a bunch of money to the government. So first,
- 44:00Speaker 10: the argument is flawed because it's just simply untrue. But
- 44:04Speaker 10: the second thing that I find so fascinating about it
- 44:06Speaker 10: is that, of course, these giant companies who are overwhelmingly successful,
- 44:10Speaker 10: find all the loopholes they can. President Trump himself was
- 44:14Speaker 10: very famous for saying that using certain tax loopholes to
- 44:17Speaker 10: save himself money didn't make him bad, it made him smart,
- 44:21Speaker 10: and that as a leader, as a president, he would
- 44:24Speaker 10: close the loopholes. He wouldn't necessarily try to tax the
- 44:27Speaker 10: rich more money. He would just find a way to
- 44:30Speaker 10: not allow as many avenues to get out of that stuff.
- 44:33Speaker 10: That was the president's position, which you would think would
- 44:36Speaker 10: be more popular, and somehow it isn't all right before
- 44:39Speaker 10: we get out of here, I thought this was interesting.
- 44:42Speaker 10: A man and a woman switch shirts shirts to allow
- 44:45Speaker 10: themselves into a restaurant. There was a dress code thing
- 44:49Speaker 10: where men weren't allowed to wear sleeveless shirts, but women were,
- 44:53Speaker 10: and so a guy named Mike and a girl named
- 44:55Speaker 10: Katie decided to swap shirts outside so they could get
- 44:59Speaker 10: inside their e restaurant. And this went very viral. Here's
- 45:02Speaker 10: a little bit of audio to that. There's a restaurant
- 45:04Speaker 10: that won't allow him to wear sleeveless, but I can,
- 45:08Speaker 10: so we're switching.
- 45:09Speaker 6: I can't believe we're doing this.
- 45:11Speaker 7: He looks so good in my shirt.
- 45:13Speaker 9: No, no, he didn't look at this.
- 45:16Speaker 10: He did not look at that. You know, that went
- 45:18Speaker 10: very viral. The guy looked like a moron in a
- 45:21Speaker 10: lady's shirt, but he was allowed in inside the restaurant,
- 45:24Speaker 10: and she was allowed inside the restaurant because the guy
- 45:26Speaker 10: had the sleeveless uh you know, shirt on and he
- 45:30Speaker 10: had to switch. So I just thought that was pretty
- 45:32Speaker 10: funny that these people went viral for doing this thing,
- 45:35Speaker 10: and now the WNBA has their own version of Mike
- 45:38Speaker 10: and Katie, and how many different mics are going to
- 45:40Speaker 10: try to be members of the WNBA in the near future.
- 45:43Speaker 9: Then one other story, and I just like this piece
- 45:46Speaker 9: of audio. Two.
- 45:48Speaker 10: This is the moment that someone was pulled over after
- 45:51Speaker 10: she stole an ambulance in Wisconsin. The woman's name is Emily,
- 45:55Speaker 10: and just so you know, naked, naked while she was
- 45:58Speaker 10: stealing an ambulance.
- 45:59Speaker 9: No reason why.
- 46:00Speaker 10: I always wonder why people commit crimes nude, and I
- 46:04Speaker 10: never have an answer for it. But here's a little
- 46:07Speaker 10: bit of a moment where somebody gets pulled over and
- 46:09Speaker 10: they're not wearing any clothing.
- 46:11Speaker 11: Stop.
- 46:12Speaker 9: Put it in part put it in part theater.
- 46:14Speaker 12: Yeah, okay, are you supposed to be driving this truck?
- 46:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 46:17Speaker 6: Why are you naked?
- 46:18Speaker 9: Right now? That's my favorite of the three things.
- 46:22Speaker 10: The lady claims that she absolutely was supposed to behind
- 46:24Speaker 10: the wheel of the vehicle.
- 46:25Speaker 9: She was not.
- 46:25Speaker 10: She stole the thing that she definitely didn't actually have
- 46:28Speaker 10: any access to. And that's the last part, is that
- 46:31Speaker 10: are you supposed to be behind this I'll play it
- 46:33Speaker 10: again because I really like it.
- 46:34Speaker 9: Why are you naked right now?
- 46:36Speaker 10: Is the clue you needed that this whole thing was rotten,
- 46:39Speaker 10: The whole thing was broken.
- 46:40Speaker 9: Here we go stop it in park. Are you a
- 46:42Speaker 9: free dator?
- 46:43Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 46:44Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 46:44Speaker 6: You're supposed to be driving this truck.
- 46:46Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't know.
- 46:46Speaker 6: Why are you naked right now?
- 46:48Speaker 9: That's the best question. Again.
- 46:50Speaker 10: I don't know why people do this. I don't know
- 46:52Speaker 10: why they commit they commit crimes in the nude. I
- 46:54Speaker 10: don't know if it's something that you go in this
- 46:56Speaker 10: is I've asked it before, I'll ask it again. And
- 46:58Speaker 10: you say to yourself, I'm going to get naked because
- 47:00Speaker 10: it's going to make the crime easier or harder, or
- 47:04Speaker 10: if you just allow the nunity to be of the
- 47:06Speaker 10: spur of the moment kind of thing, like you didn't
- 47:08Speaker 10: go in planning for this, but it's what happened.
- 47:10Speaker 9: I don't have an answer. I just have questions. Well,
- 47:13Speaker 9: that's it. That's the whole show.
- 47:14Speaker 10: Thrilled to be with you as always, The Craig Collins Show,
- 47:17Speaker 10: KSV KGBC, the Voice of Texas.
- 47:21Speaker 9: Talk to you next time. Everybody,
