- 3:25Speaker 3: I'm just trying to figure out how fucking this passport.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Shit you still don't have it.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It's a nightmare.
- 3:33Speaker 7: I have a similar nightmare. I'll tell you about. Okay.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I don't know if I can't talk about this on
- 3:38Speaker 3: the podcast though, because i'd say there's probably like a
- 3:39Speaker 3: seventy thirty chance that I'm not going to Edmonton.
- 3:46Speaker 7: Holy shit. Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Luckily on the bright side for that, I think there's
- 3:51Speaker 3: about nine tickets sold.
- 3:53Speaker 10: Oh my god.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I need my so I needed to get my
- 3:58Speaker 3: birth certificate too.
- 4:00Speaker 7: You know what about a Social Security cards?
- 4:04Speaker 3: It doesn't it doesn't matter.
- 4:05Speaker 7: That wouldn't work.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Now, come on, I have a real ID. You can't
- 4:09Speaker 3: even use that.
- 4:10Speaker 7: Yeah, of course not that makes sense.
- 4:13Speaker 3: No, it doesn't. Alrighty, welcome back to the Son of
- 4:17Speaker 3: a Boy Dad podcast.
- 4:18Speaker 7: The real ID doesn't mean anything.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Oh you're going back to I thought we were cutting
- 4:21Speaker 3: that out.
- 4:23Speaker 7: You want to continue, you want to keep cutting stuff
- 4:25Speaker 7: from the podcast? King cuts over here.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I'm not King Cuts. It's April sixteenth, it's two twenty
- 4:31Speaker 3: five PM. Yeah, I did the stream yesterday and all
- 4:36Speaker 3: the people were like, all the comments were just like
- 4:39Speaker 3: you totally fuck your neighbor, and I just had to
- 4:43Speaker 3: be like, guys, that's not even close to what I
- 4:45Speaker 3: was like. It was literally just I didn't feel like
- 4:47Speaker 3: talking about someone who I barely know on a big podcast.
- 4:52Speaker 3: That's true, that was the entire reasoning.
- 4:54Speaker 7: But what made it funny was that I held hair
- 4:56Speaker 7: Ball's feet to the fire about whether or not she
- 4:58Speaker 7: was attractive, and he just was so he's such a
- 5:01Speaker 7: gentleman that he would not answer that question, and it
- 5:05Speaker 7: got real squirrely, which is what made it funny.
- 5:08Speaker 3: That is that's literally the entire thing.
- 5:10Speaker 7: Yeah, it got squirrely.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, so no big, no, big surprise. People were really
- 5:16Speaker 3: hoping for something. People were hoping that it was gonna
- 5:19Speaker 3: be like yeah, and then I scooped her up off
- 5:21Speaker 3: the ground and we ran off into the sunset together.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Now the reality was I just went back into my
- 5:28Speaker 3: room and played video games. Nice. Yeah, I could have guessed, yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 3: she's something that's uh that. Did you do you watch
- 5:37Speaker 3: Black Mirror?
- 5:38Speaker 7: No, but everyone's talking about it. Did it just come out?
- 5:41Speaker 3: The new season? Just came out. Did you watch it owen?
- 5:44Speaker 7: Now?
- 5:45Speaker 3: I didn't love it, and I and I and I've
- 5:48Speaker 3: liked it the other seasons.
- 5:49Speaker 7: How many episodes are there per season?
- 5:51Speaker 3: Like six or seven? I want to say, you watch
- 5:53Speaker 3: all of them? Yeah, you can skip around because they're
- 5:56Speaker 3: all it's pretty much like they're all like a short movie.
- 5:58Speaker 7: I know, I've watched a few episodes and not for nothing,
- 6:01Speaker 7: I do. I admire the show.
- 6:04Speaker 3: The early like the first couple of seasons are really good.
- 6:07Speaker 3: This season kind of felt like like someone just threw
- 6:12Speaker 3: in a prompt to like jat GBT, and they were like,
- 6:15Speaker 3: make the strangest show you can. Like it was like
- 6:19Speaker 3: it's all like a like a metaphor for like shit
- 6:22Speaker 3: in the real world, but it's like futuristic. But it
- 6:26Speaker 3: was kind of like this season's just like silly, Like
- 6:29Speaker 3: the whole thing is like the first episode, the girl
- 6:31Speaker 3: gets a she used to get brain surgery, and they
- 6:34Speaker 3: have like this new futuristic brain implant they can put
- 6:37Speaker 3: in your brain that's like a connects to satellites and
- 6:40Speaker 3: stuff and does those things that that part of your
- 6:43Speaker 3: brain is missing, and it'll do it electronically. But then
- 6:46Speaker 3: it's like you have to pay for a package and
- 6:49Speaker 3: then you can only go within a certain range. And
- 6:51Speaker 3: then it's like you're like, okay, this is kind of interesting,
- 6:53Speaker 3: like it's kind of showing like you know, like cellular
- 6:57Speaker 3: data and all this shit. And then it's all of
- 6:59Speaker 3: a sudden, All of a sudden, she's reading ads like
- 7:03Speaker 3: just in her day to day life. And then they
- 7:04Speaker 3: go back to the place and she's like they're like, oh, yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 3: you're now on the standard packet. You have to upgrade
- 7:11Speaker 3: to plus if you want to remove ads. So she's
- 7:13Speaker 3: a teacher and then in the middle of her class,
- 7:16Speaker 3: she'll just be like red Bull gives you wings, like
- 7:20Speaker 3: just add of nowhere, just we'll do a full ad
- 7:22Speaker 3: read for a random company.
- 7:23Speaker 7: Boy, can't imagine that listening to someone talk.
- 7:27Speaker 3: For well, I think that's the point, but it's like,
- 7:31Speaker 3: what are we talking about. It's like, that's never gonna happen.
- 7:34Speaker 7: What it was, Yeah, the hitted product placement in that Oh.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Really I don't remember that, but yeah it was stupid.
- 7:41Speaker 3: And then there's a whole thing where like the her boyfriend.
- 7:43Speaker 3: This is where it comes back to the streaming thing.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Her boyfriend or her husband has to like pay for
- 7:50Speaker 3: this package to keep her alive. And he starts streaming
- 7:54Speaker 3: and he's just like drinking piss. It's like he has
- 7:57Speaker 3: like a bottle of piss and it's like, if we
- 8:00Speaker 3: to one hundred donations, I'll drink the piss. And then
- 8:03Speaker 3: it gets to it and then it like leaks and
- 8:05Speaker 3: like it's called his coworkers find out and.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Shit, this is your generation. You did this.
- 8:10Speaker 3: And I was like that. Then I'm like I'm like, well,
- 8:12Speaker 3: i just started streaming and this is the first thing
- 8:15Speaker 3: I'm seeing is this dude drinking piss raise money.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Now.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It kind of just made me feel weird though. It
- 8:23Speaker 3: kind of made me like I've been enjoying the streaming,
- 8:26Speaker 3: but like something about like when you when you end
- 8:29Speaker 3: the stream and then you're on the twitch homepage and
- 8:32Speaker 3: you see everyone else streaming and you're like this is
- 8:35Speaker 3: kind of dark.
- 8:36Speaker 9: Like I kind of feel like a cam girl right now,
- 8:42Speaker 9: like locked in a fucking because it's like even different
- 8:45Speaker 9: than like what Mooke does because.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Mook's is more of a show than it is streaming me.
- 8:51Speaker 3: It's just like I'm just talking.
- 8:52Speaker 7: Alone in my room.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's uncomfortable and then you like and then it ends,
- 8:57Speaker 3: and then you just you see like the girls with
- 8:58Speaker 3: like the caddiers and ship and you're like, this is freaks.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I'm on the freak website now. Is that the weird?
- 9:05Speaker 7: Is that where people do the yum yum ice cream?
- 9:08Speaker 3: I think that's on TikTok, isn't it?
- 9:10Speaker 7: But are those streamers?
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Technically I think Twitch is mostly like gaming streaming.
- 9:18Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, it.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Was a little bit.
- 9:21Speaker 7: How do you think all this ends?
- 9:23Speaker 3: I don't know. How does it?
- 9:25Speaker 7: How does it keep ramping? And what is what is
- 9:29Speaker 7: the outcome?
- 9:30Speaker 3: Dude? I really don't. I've kind of been going through
- 9:32Speaker 3: like a little bit of an existential crisis with the
- 9:34Speaker 3: entire thing, because it's like, you want to do comedy, right,
- 9:40Speaker 3: that's what you want to do. You want to like
- 9:41Speaker 3: you enjoy stand up comedy, or at least I guess
- 9:44Speaker 3: maybe that's me.
- 9:45Speaker 7: Well why wouldn't because.
- 9:47Speaker 3: You're not responding to what I'm saying.
- 9:48Speaker 7: To be honest with you, I thought you were talking
- 9:50Speaker 7: about yourself.
- 9:51Speaker 3: No, no, I just meant like both of you, as
- 9:53Speaker 3: in one no.
- 9:55Speaker 7: To do stand up yeah, one cannot. I thought it
- 9:58Speaker 7: was the sort.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Of like loyal no, No, I really did. No, that's
- 10:02Speaker 3: not what I meant.
- 10:03Speaker 7: But you and one's life one wants to do. Yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 7: I didn't know you were talking to me.
- 10:08Speaker 3: No, I was using you as an example. Sure, or
- 10:10Speaker 3: I guess it could apply to both of us.
- 10:12Speaker 7: The reason I didn't catch that is because I've never
- 10:14Speaker 7: done any streaming. Yeah, so I didn't think that you.
- 10:18Speaker 7: I thought the natural whatever, please continue. That confused me?
- 10:21Speaker 3: My bad? Yeah bad, My apologies.
- 10:24Speaker 7: No, that's okay, but uh, you're better.
- 10:29Speaker 3: What I was gonna say was like, my, what I
- 10:32Speaker 3: want to do is I want to do stand up comedy.
- 10:34Speaker 3: That's like the big thing that I care about, right,
- 10:37Speaker 3: But it's like now it's like you got to do
- 10:39Speaker 3: You can't just be You can't just get good at
- 10:41Speaker 3: comedy and be good at comedy. You gotta do a
- 10:43Speaker 3: million other things. And it's like then it started with
- 10:46Speaker 3: like the clips. Everyone started posting the clips, and then
- 10:48Speaker 3: it's like, oh, clips aren't even enough anymore. Even if
- 10:51Speaker 3: you have stand up clips that are doing well, that's
- 10:52Speaker 3: still not enough. You gotta do something else now on
- 10:55Speaker 3: top of that. So then it's like we do the podcast,
- 10:57Speaker 3: which I love doing the podcast. That's easy. But now
- 10:59Speaker 3: it's like, now feel like I need another thing?
- 11:02Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, So I have two thoughts on this. My
- 11:04Speaker 7: first thought, My first answer to that is that I
- 11:06Speaker 7: think that you know, the age old adage of be undeniable, yeah,
- 11:11Speaker 7: still pertains, meaning you know, like, if you get good,
- 11:17Speaker 7: if you were if you were good enough, then even
- 11:21Speaker 7: without streaming on Twitch or posting crowd work clips or
- 11:25Speaker 7: doing this and that, people would find you.
- 11:28Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean? I agree with that
- 11:30Speaker 3: to an extent.
- 11:32Speaker 7: So I think at that point, if you're that good,
- 11:36Speaker 7: then those other things are just additional income streams and
- 11:41Speaker 7: then it just becomes a question of how much money
- 11:43Speaker 7: do you want to make, right, or perhaps they accelerate
- 11:48Speaker 7: your visibility and provide other inroads for people to find you,
- 11:53Speaker 7: and they'll through your Twitch, find your stand up, come
- 11:56Speaker 7: to your shows, help.
- 11:57Speaker 3: You get better. That's the goal, right for everything.
- 12:02Speaker 7: I also think that the bottom line is when you
- 12:06Speaker 7: talk about adding things, right, you say, well, I do
- 12:09Speaker 7: stand up, I do the podcast, which you like, and
- 12:13Speaker 7: now you feel like you need to add another thing.
- 12:16Speaker 7: It's still not that much, you know what I mean,
- 12:20Speaker 7: It's just not that much work.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Now, I agree It's like if you.
- 12:24Speaker 7: Were to say, okay, let's flip this into a different illustration,
- 12:31Speaker 7: which is, you know, a single mother has a son
- 12:36Speaker 7: who is a prodigy at hockey, I guess, and she
- 12:42Speaker 7: has to afford skate sharpening and new sticks because he
- 12:45Speaker 7: keeps breaking him because he's got a temper problem. Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 7: and therefore he needs sports psychology sessions as well, and
- 12:52Speaker 7: needs to travel and all of these things and create
- 12:54Speaker 7: game films so he can be recruited and join juniors
- 12:57Speaker 7: and all that. So she takes on night shifts. Yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 7: in addition, and that's still not enough that woman. You're like, yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 7: that's hard.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's tough. You're doing a lot. I mean, yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 3: in the grand doing a lot. Yeah. Ron always says that,
- 13:17Speaker 3: he says that our job is the easiest job in
- 13:19Speaker 3: the world, and he's right.
- 13:20Speaker 7: There's so much more fundamentally we could add. I thought
- 13:25Speaker 7: I was at my breaking point last year, Yeah, when
- 13:30Speaker 7: I was just doing the most I've ever done professionally.
- 13:34Speaker 7: But if someone had been like, hey, man, if you're
- 13:37Speaker 7: willing to wake up two hours earlier in the morning
- 13:40Speaker 7: and do a daily stream of yourself making breakfast and
- 13:45Speaker 7: walking us through it, and we'll pay you an additional
- 13:49Speaker 7: twenty five thousand dollars a week. Yeah, I would have
- 13:52Speaker 7: been like, oh, I can do that.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 7: Do you know what I mean? Now it just becomes
- 13:57Speaker 7: it just becomes a time val you calculus where you
- 14:02Speaker 7: have to say to yourself, well, is it worth it
- 14:06Speaker 7: for me to do to keep adding these things? Do
- 14:10Speaker 7: I believe that that is an investment in my career?
- 14:14Speaker 7: How much do I value having my own time to
- 14:18Speaker 7: play video games and blow off steam and decompress and
- 14:21Speaker 7: the value that brings to my stand up career. If
- 14:25Speaker 7: all of this is to feed the goal of winnowing
- 14:30Speaker 7: your career down to just stand up and being able
- 14:33Speaker 7: to make the most money you can from that, is
- 14:35Speaker 7: that kind of.
- 14:36Speaker 3: What you're saying, Yes, exactly what I'm saying.
- 14:38Speaker 7: Again, keep in mind, if Louis is our example, which
- 14:42Speaker 7: I think he's the most clear cut stand up stand up,
- 14:50Speaker 7: he created a brilliant show that was an extension of
- 14:57Speaker 7: his voice in that and I think was something he
- 15:00Speaker 7: believed in. He also to get there, wrote on The
- 15:05Speaker 7: Dana Carvey Show. He wrote and directed I think Poodi
- 15:10Speaker 7: Tang he did. He You know, there were a lot
- 15:14Speaker 7: of things he did that he was probably like, what
- 15:16Speaker 7: the fuck am I doing this for? But he had
- 15:19Speaker 7: daughters and of life, and you know, eventually it took many,
- 15:24Speaker 7: many years, but he got to a point where, yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 7: he can just turn down.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Twitch streaming.
- 15:30Speaker 7: Yeah, in order to do his stand up.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Yeah. I get that. I guess.
- 15:34Speaker 7: I guess. I just feel like I'm and he's the
- 15:37Speaker 7: best comedian of all time, probably like one of them, right,
- 15:41Speaker 7: so if he had to do that, then why the
- 15:43Speaker 7: fuck wouldn't we? Yeah, do you know what I mean?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you're definitely right.
- 15:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not saying it in like uh like I
- 15:50Speaker 3: get it. I get I get it. It's obviously still easy.
- 15:53Speaker 7: And I'm not even saying that it's easy. I'm just
- 15:57Speaker 7: saying that one more thing.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not the end of the world.
- 16:00Speaker 7: We're not adding the graveyard shift at seven to eleven
- 16:03Speaker 7: so that our son can play junior.
- 16:05Speaker 3: High now, said Billy Elliott.
- 16:08Speaker 7: Can go to the fancy dance school. We're not selling
- 16:11Speaker 7: our dead wife's jewelry. Yeah, and you know, turning scab
- 16:15Speaker 7: on the mining strike, Yeah, fuck you, Maggie Thatcher. Yeah,
- 16:21Speaker 7: do you know what I'm talking about?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Not at all?
- 16:22Speaker 7: You never saw Billy Elliott.
- 16:23Speaker 3: No, come on, I never saw it.
- 16:25Speaker 7: Oh, it's one of the greats.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Really. Yes, you always recommend movies that I've never heard of.
- 16:30Speaker 7: Buddy Billy Elliott was a seminal movie at my childhood.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I'll check it out.
- 16:34Speaker 7: You're gonna love it. I'll check it out and I
- 16:36Speaker 7: give you the premise. Sure, a boy, a boy Billy Elliott,
- 16:42Speaker 7: that's right, grows up in Uh. I think he's in Ireland.
- 16:48Speaker 7: It's got to be Ireland, yeah, or or Northerning.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You're looking at us like we think it's talking about.
- 16:55Speaker 7: I think it's Ireland. And his dad is a coal
- 16:58Speaker 7: miner and he lives in a very poor coal mining town.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Can you start streaming on Twitch? No, he's just this.
- 17:05Speaker 7: He's a dance he's a dancer. Oh okay, and his
- 17:11Speaker 7: dad wants him to be a boxer.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Similar tough boy, kind of similar. You know what do
- 17:18Speaker 3: you mean you can use your dancing skills in the ring.
- 17:21Speaker 7: Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I thought you
- 17:23Speaker 7: meant boxing. Wanting to be a boxer would be similar
- 17:25Speaker 7: to like, I guess your parents wanting you to be
- 17:28Speaker 7: something and you wanting to be a comedian.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, no, not at all, not at all
- 17:32Speaker 3: the case.
- 17:33Speaker 7: We're not quite on the same way of life today,
- 17:37Speaker 7: but we're getting closer. So it's during the strikes the
- 17:44Speaker 7: coal miners were striking, yeah, and trying to earn higher wages.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Margaret Thatcher, the familady I'm familiar.
- 17:53Speaker 7: Prime Minister of England, famously told all the coal miner
- 17:56Speaker 7: unions fuck off, we are not going to into your
- 18:00Speaker 7: will and she they all. I think they all went
- 18:04Speaker 7: back to work after a while because they needed their wages.
- 18:08Speaker 7: But it was a very dark time and these mining
- 18:12Speaker 7: towns were destitute and uh Billy in that darkness discovered
- 18:18Speaker 7: how his love for dance and ballet specifically, and his
- 18:22Speaker 7: dad it was very you don't have our town, you
- 18:27Speaker 7: don't be a fruitcake.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Yeah no, I agree with that.
- 18:31Speaker 7: Yeah, it is what they call them.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I'd be like, could you at least get into like
- 18:35Speaker 3: break dancing or something cool like that. Sure, wear one
- 18:38Speaker 3: of the masks, you know, jabwake.
- 18:42Speaker 7: So then the dad, in a moment of realizing he
- 18:48Speaker 7: has to support his son because his day his son,
- 18:51Speaker 7: he walks in on his son dancing. Tough.
- 18:55Speaker 3: But I got to watch this movie.
- 18:58Speaker 7: Its phenomenal son is so good that in a moment
- 19:02Speaker 7: of defiance, in one of the great scenes of the movie,
- 19:05Speaker 7: he starts dancing because he's.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Like, come on, Billy, well we're going we're going.
- 19:11Speaker 7: Out here, and Billy says no, and he starts dancing
- 19:15Speaker 7: in his face and it's really amazing, and the dad's
- 19:18Speaker 7: getting redder and redder in the face, you know how
- 19:19Speaker 7: those people get very red in the face. But what
- 19:24Speaker 7: he realizes is.
- 19:25Speaker 3: That his son's got actually a prodigy, and in order
- 19:29Speaker 3: to help him go audition for the school, he sells
- 19:34Speaker 3: his dead wife's jewelry at a pawn shop, and it's really,
- 19:38Speaker 3: why do they need to do that to audition at
- 19:39Speaker 3: the school, because it's there's a probably an entry fee.
- 19:42Speaker 7: He's got to send him on a bus, all these things.
- 19:46Speaker 7: And they adapted a musical from this.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I could I could definitely see that it was on the.
- 19:51Speaker 7: West End in London. I saw it on the West
- 19:53Speaker 7: End in London. I think it might have come to
- 19:54Speaker 7: the Broadway.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Did you go to London strictly to see it?
- 19:57Speaker 7: No, I would never do something like that.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Well, you said the movie was like shaped your childhood.
- 20:01Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not gonna travel across the Atlantic to go
- 20:03Speaker 7: see a musical.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I mean it's if you have that deep of connection
- 20:06Speaker 3: to this movie, I would go to London to see it. Really,
- 20:10Speaker 3: if they made like Goodwill Hunting a play, add consider
- 20:14Speaker 3: if you go see it in London, I'd consider it.
- 20:18Speaker 7: Have you been to England?
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah? Really? Yeah?
- 20:21Speaker 7: When'd you go?
- 20:22Speaker 3: When I was thirteen? What'd you go for? I just
- 20:27Speaker 3: went with my mom. That's fun. Yeah, for a couple
- 20:29Speaker 3: of days when I saw Wicked. Oh my god.
- 20:33Speaker 7: Yeah, that's why you're saying this, You have traveled to
- 20:38Speaker 7: London for a musical.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Well, we didn't go for the music.
- 20:42Speaker 7: It sounds like you did.
- 20:43Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 20:43Speaker 7: I was because you suggesting that seemed insane to me really,
- 20:47Speaker 7: but it's because it's.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Just popping across the pond to go see Billy Elliott live.
- 20:51Speaker 7: When we live close to Broadway.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but it hadn't come to Broadway yet, and yet
- 20:57Speaker 3: it certainly was going to did it? Of course?
- 21:00Speaker 7: It was on Broadway for twenty years. It's the highest
- 21:03Speaker 7: grossing musical in the world.
- 21:05Speaker 3: See where still where we're not on the same page
- 21:07Speaker 3: at all. I'm still talking Billy Elliott and you're talking Wicked.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I see separate conversations.
- 21:20Speaker 7: Did you think he had switched back to Wicked or
- 21:23Speaker 7: to Billy Elliott?
- 21:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:26Speaker 7: Smart, I feel like I'm in an episode of Black Mirror,
- 21:32Speaker 7: Billy Elliott? Did it did come to Broadway?
- 21:34Speaker 3: Came to Broadway? Yeah? Eventually? Yeah, and you saw it? Yeah?
- 21:40Speaker 7: Yeah, there was a There were three main boys that
- 21:43Speaker 7: that played the title role. And that's because when you're
- 21:47Speaker 7: a lead actor in a child in a musical like.
- 21:50Speaker 3: That, you got to go to school.
- 21:53Speaker 7: Yeah, so they can't let one kid play it the
- 21:57Speaker 7: whole time because he would.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Fall way behind.
- 22:01Speaker 7: Yeah, and so they rotate them, but there's usually one
- 22:05Speaker 7: boy who's better than the others. Yeah, of course, and
- 22:08Speaker 7: you want to see it with that boy.
- 22:09Speaker 3: That's Friday night, Yeah yeah, yeah, you get the B
- 22:13Speaker 3: team on Wednesday and Tuesday not wrong? Yeah yeah. So yeah, Well, anyways,
- 22:21Speaker 3: you were saying. The whole thing that sparked the entire
- 22:23Speaker 3: conversation was you were saying, when does what, how does
- 22:26Speaker 3: it end with the content stuff?
- 22:29Speaker 7: Can I ask one more question of coour we go
- 22:31Speaker 7: back to that?
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yeah? What else?
- 22:32Speaker 7: Did you and your mom go to London? Four?
- 22:35Speaker 3: That was literally it was me, my mom and my
- 22:37Speaker 3: older sister, and we went and we got tea one day,
- 22:40Speaker 3: and then we like walked around one day and then
- 22:43Speaker 3: we saw the play. I was very young.
- 22:44Speaker 7: I don't really remember it that well. Thirteen, Yeah, I
- 22:48Speaker 7: mean I remember like every moment. That's not that long
- 22:51Speaker 7: ago for you.
- 22:52Speaker 3: It's over ten years ago, and I was a child.
- 22:55Speaker 7: Yeah, it'd be twenty two years ago for me.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Well, I mean I told you we went and saw Wicked.
- 23:02Speaker 7: I know, so, I guess My question is, it seems
- 23:05Speaker 7: to me.
- 23:05Speaker 3: There was no like there was that could have been
- 23:08Speaker 3: the reason that we went. It seems like I have
- 23:10Speaker 3: no idea what the reason was though, and that I
- 23:12Speaker 3: have a feeling that's not the main reason we went.
- 23:15Speaker 7: But let me say that it's starting to shape up
- 23:19Speaker 7: that way. It's starting to feel like the reason you
- 23:21Speaker 7: guys went to London was to see Wicked.
- 23:24Speaker 3: My mom's like obsessed with like London and like the
- 23:26Speaker 3: royal family.
- 23:27Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, she's obsessed with Wicked.
- 23:29Speaker 3: No, no, I promise you she isn't. Your whole family was,
- 23:33Speaker 3: No you did. If our whole family was, and my
- 23:36Speaker 3: whole family would have gone.
- 23:37Speaker 7: Well, your dad was like fuck, that it's probably coming
- 23:39Speaker 7: to Broadway. Yeah, true he was, and he was right.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I think it was already on Broadway. Oh man, no way.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I think this was the thing where we were, like,
- 23:50Speaker 3: my mom wanted to go to London. She was like,
- 23:53Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with me and my older sister and
- 23:56Speaker 3: then you know, you book things to do when you're there.
- 23:58Speaker 3: And one of the things that we did go see Wicked.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I think she bought the tickets to the play before
- 24:03Speaker 3: she bought the flight. No, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 24:07Speaker 7: Don't you feel I feel like it's shaping.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Up that way? I mean it could you all I'm saying,
- 24:12Speaker 3: is I love that. I like that. I like that.
- 24:18Speaker 7: That's why you said, did I go to the West
- 24:21Speaker 7: End in London to see Billy Elliott? Because from your experience,
- 24:27Speaker 7: one travels across the Atlantic for the sole purpose of
- 24:32Speaker 7: going to a play.
- 24:33Speaker 3: You've got this all mixed up. You're putting the way
- 24:35Speaker 3: too much thought and did you go see it in London?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Literally just it was literally just me going, oh did
- 24:41Speaker 3: you go see it?
- 24:43Speaker 7: You said, did you go across the did you travel
- 24:46Speaker 7: to London? Fantas you you go.
- 24:48Speaker 3: You started the conversation being like, have you got you
- 24:50Speaker 3: haven't seen Billy Elliott? And then you're and then you
- 24:53Speaker 3: were I could see tears in the back of your eyes,
- 24:55Speaker 3: being like, this movie changed my life, this is this
- 24:57Speaker 3: is straw Man and then and then you go, you go,
- 25:02Speaker 3: and then you know, it came to it was it
- 25:04Speaker 3: was on, it was in in London. They were they
- 25:06Speaker 3: made it a play. And I said, oh, did you
- 25:08Speaker 3: go see it? No?
- 25:09Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, no, no you didn't.
- 25:12Speaker 3: That's not what happened.
- 25:14Speaker 7: You suggested that I that I went all the way
- 25:16Speaker 7: to England for the musical. That that's the only reason
- 25:19Speaker 7: I would have asked. That's how that's how we got here.
- 25:22Speaker 7: Do you know, by the way, do you know what
- 25:23Speaker 7: straw man is? Straw man argument?
- 25:26Speaker 3: I do not. Have you heard that before. I've heard
- 25:29Speaker 3: the term.
- 25:29Speaker 7: I had to look this up because I've heard it
- 25:31Speaker 7: a lot, but I never really understood what it was.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Yeah, straw man straw man.
- 25:37Speaker 7: Yeah, it's when someone, Uh, let's say that you and
- 25:40Speaker 7: I were arguing. Right, if I were to create or
- 25:47Speaker 7: summarize a version of your argument incorrectly, okay, for the
- 25:53Speaker 7: purpose of defeating a lesser argument, right, does that make sense. Yeah,
- 26:03Speaker 7: it's like I incorrectly attribute your point or I make
- 26:06Speaker 7: I make it a slightly different, weaker version of your
- 26:09Speaker 7: argument so that I can come over the top and
- 26:13Speaker 7: slam dunk dunk it. Yeah, and you're like, well that's yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 7: You're like, that's not even really what I was saying,
- 26:19Speaker 7: but nobody cares.
- 26:21Speaker 3: It's it's very Yeah, you're kind of just describing my
- 26:24Speaker 3: day to day, like.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Yeah, and that's what you just did.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you just did. Yeah. I am the
- 26:28Speaker 3: straw man, Your straw man me.
- 26:31Speaker 7: He made me the straw man. I'm not made of
- 26:33Speaker 7: straw you are. I'm no scarecrow.
- 26:35Speaker 3: You're a scarecrow. No, you're the I'm the Wizard of Oz.
- 26:38Speaker 3: You're the scarecrow.
- 26:43Speaker 7: What did the tin man need? Oil?
- 26:45Speaker 10: Oil?
- 26:46Speaker 3: That's all he needed. He was useless.
- 26:47Speaker 7: No, come on, he needed something else. That can't be
- 26:51Speaker 7: They went all the way to Oz to get oil
- 26:53Speaker 7: for him. The idea, I think the lion needed a heart.
- 26:56Speaker 7: The lion got a heart for courage, for courage, brain,
- 27:00Speaker 7: that sounds.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Right, and the wicked witch of the what was the
- 27:05Speaker 3: girl's name? What was the girl's name? Glenn Dorothy Girl
- 27:10Speaker 3: Dorothy Dorothy Dorothy needed some good dick. That's why they
- 27:15Speaker 3: went to the Oz.
- 27:16Speaker 7: I'm glad you used the right nomenclature.
- 27:18Speaker 3: There, My tin friend talk, my scarecrow, he needs a
- 27:29Speaker 3: heart for courage. Me I need some cock? Is there
- 27:36Speaker 3: no cock in this town?
- 27:38Speaker 7: Follow the the midget's over at the fucking at the factory.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Weren't getting it done. What are they called the munchkins?
- 27:47Speaker 7: Munchkins?
- 27:48Speaker 3: The munchkins did not do what I needed to be done. Yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 3: so I'm here to see you, mister Oz.
- 27:57Speaker 7: Dorothy. If you just tap your shoes together, a rock
- 28:01Speaker 7: hard cock will up here. That movie there's no place
- 28:07Speaker 7: like cock.
- 28:07Speaker 3: There's no place like cock. All right, I was good.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I was Uh. I don't forget what I was gonna say.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I was gonna say something about your marquise. Oh yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 3: I just keep on thinking about the story and laughing
- 28:25Speaker 3: so hard.
- 28:25Speaker 7: I'm glad. Yeah, I'm so glad. Marquis of Marquis is
- 28:29Speaker 7: also I think a French term for a a nobleman
- 28:34Speaker 7: or something, the marquise of sod. There's DoD or something
- 28:38Speaker 7: like that. Isn't that a thing you ever heard of?
- 28:40Speaker 7: That it might mean the bishop or the prince or
- 28:44Speaker 7: something like that.
- 28:45Speaker 3: I've heard. I kind of know what you're talking about. Yeah,
- 28:48Speaker 3: we talked to Rone today.
- 28:50Speaker 7: We spoke to Rone.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Yeah, briefly ran on the phone business call. Mm hmmm,
- 28:55Speaker 3: just talking business.
- 28:57Speaker 7: He's good, Yeah, he's well.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Didn't hear any baby crying in the background? A little
- 29:01Speaker 3: bit suspicious?
- 29:02Speaker 7: No, there, he hasn't taken the duct tape off. Does
- 29:06Speaker 7: that right before feeding time?
- 29:09Speaker 3: Mouth tape? He's sleep taping them getting him started young. Yeah. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 3: imagine if Roan posted it the photos of.
- 29:26Speaker 7: You'll thank me later, that would be one of nature's
- 29:29Speaker 7: most wonderful filtration systems.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Their jawlines are going to be fucking phenomenal. That's like
- 29:36Speaker 3: the whole thing apparently improves your jaw line.
- 29:39Speaker 7: Isn't there wasn't there another term for something? Uh not joking,
- 29:43Speaker 7: but like uh mewingwing?
- 29:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, mewing is a different thing though.
- 29:49Speaker 7: I don't really know what it is.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I think it's just like tightening everything. It's like when
- 29:54Speaker 3: you go like this, Yeah, it's something like that. I
- 29:57Speaker 3: think something like you on that thing though. Yeah, I've
- 29:59Speaker 3: always thought that was crazy.
- 30:01Speaker 7: Hey, do you know what what yesterday? I played in
- 30:04Speaker 7: a charity golf outing.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Oh, very fun. And on the.
- 30:07Speaker 7: First tea good weather yesterday too it was okay, it's
- 30:11Speaker 7: like sixty five and sunny morning was cold and there
- 30:14Speaker 7: were spits of rain.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Oh okay, not where I was.
- 30:17Speaker 7: This was an event put on by Mizuho, which I
- 30:21Speaker 7: think is a Japanese bank of some kind. And I
- 30:24Speaker 7: walked up to the first to the driving range where
- 30:28Speaker 7: my buddy was talking to someone woman, and I said
- 30:31Speaker 7: hi to him, and he turned and said, this is
- 30:33Speaker 7: Michelle m Who do you think it was?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Michelle Obama?
- 30:40Speaker 7: No golf, no idea. Do you remember Michelle Wee? Now
- 30:49Speaker 7: Michelle Wie was the tight next Tiger Woods of golf,
- 30:54Speaker 7: really yeah, of women's golf. Damn, she was supposed to be.
- 31:00Speaker 7: What happened, I don't know. She ended up having more
- 31:03Speaker 7: of a sort of Jordan Speef moment. Ah tough. She
- 31:06Speaker 7: won a couple majors I think, but then faded a
- 31:09Speaker 7: little bit and then.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Was the Jordan's speech. So the Jordan sped thing was
- 31:12Speaker 3: a huge deal, like he was really good and now
- 31:15Speaker 3: he saw.
- 31:15Speaker 7: Yeah, he won three majors. I wouldn't say he sucks.
- 31:18Speaker 7: He's had near comeback moment. Look, unfortunately, in golf, most
- 31:24Speaker 7: people only care about majors, yeah at all, And so
- 31:28Speaker 7: if you don't win a major, you know, you're not considered.
- 31:33Speaker 7: And I think part of the problem.
- 31:34Speaker 3: I know, he doesn't actually suck, no, I know, he's
- 31:37Speaker 3: still one of the greatest golfers on the planet.
- 31:40Speaker 7: I think, my guess would be part of the problem
- 31:42Speaker 7: there is that for some reason, in tennis we have
- 31:46Speaker 7: four majors, yeah, or four Grand Slams, and then golf
- 31:51Speaker 7: there are four majors. And in tennis we in our
- 31:55Speaker 7: lifetime have experienced runs of dominance where every single final
- 32:01Speaker 7: of all four majors, it seemed, had one of Federer, Nadal,
- 32:07Speaker 7: Djokovic and maybe Murray. Yeah, and that was it. These
- 32:11Speaker 7: guys just won every time, whereas golf's not like that, now,
- 32:14Speaker 7: you know what I mean. There's it just seems much
- 32:17Speaker 7: harder to actually win every major. Uh. And we were
- 32:21Speaker 7: also led astray because of Tiger Wood's dominance. That just
- 32:24Speaker 7: his run of foremost unlike anything we've ever seen.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:27Speaker 7: So for Jordan speF, mostly I think guys get hot
- 32:31Speaker 7: for like a year or two. John Rahm was unbeatable.
- 32:35Speaker 3: For a year.
- 32:36Speaker 7: Yeah, Dustin Johnson got hot for a year. Colin Morrikawa
- 32:41Speaker 7: has had had moments. And Jordan Speth obviously won three
- 32:46Speaker 7: majors out of like five or something like that.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Yeah, he was on fire. I remember, like so vividly,
- 32:51Speaker 3: like Jordan's beef winning all the majors, and then like
- 32:55Speaker 3: everyone was like, Jordan'speth, he's got his mental game is
- 32:58Speaker 3: out of phases him. He's he's so sharp in the
- 33:02Speaker 3: brain and can't can't be hurt. And then like the
- 33:06Speaker 3: week later you see him and he's like throwing his
- 33:08Speaker 3: potter like into the fucking pond next to the eighteen hole,
- 33:12Speaker 3: and then you just haven't he hasn't won anything since.
- 33:15Speaker 7: No, but he's won He's won PGA events.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Yeah, just no majors. I just don't.
- 33:19Speaker 7: He hasn't won any majors, and so people don't I
- 33:23Speaker 7: don't know for some reason that that you know, look
- 33:25Speaker 7: at Rory Yeah, I mean people were kind of like, oh,
- 33:28Speaker 7: he's a choke artist, he's he's all fake news. Yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 7: because he hasn't won a major in eleven years. Well,
- 33:34Speaker 7: he was still winning a ton of events.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah, how much money those guys make for winning an
- 33:38Speaker 3: event a lot. Yeah, millions, just not the twenty million jackpot.
- 33:44Speaker 7: That twenty million has split. The winner of the Masters
- 33:47Speaker 7: wins four point two one four point two this year
- 33:49Speaker 7: and last year was three point six.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Is four point two the highest ever men.
- 33:53Speaker 7: I think at the Masters?
- 33:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:55Speaker 7: Interesting, but there's uh, there is. The Players Champion is
- 34:00Speaker 7: also a very high purse, even though it's not a major.
- 34:03Speaker 3: What's the purse on that?
- 34:04Speaker 7: I'm not sure it might be higher than any of
- 34:07Speaker 7: the majors. You don't say, Look, we don't need to
- 34:10Speaker 7: talk about golf. Why because it's just too specific. I
- 34:15Speaker 7: really don't think it is.
- 34:17Speaker 3: I think it's actually probably like one of the most
- 34:20Speaker 3: popular sports on Earth. Well, let's get back to our
- 34:23Speaker 3: demographic of white men.
- 34:25Speaker 7: My personal experience yesterday, Yeah, Michelle wee, Michelle, I mean
- 34:32Speaker 7: she was on weedies boxes and of course she was.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Do you remember Freddie you do? Nope?
- 34:39Speaker 7: Hmmm.
- 34:41Speaker 3: We've had a few.
- 34:42Speaker 7: Athletes in America who were spoken of as though they
- 34:47Speaker 7: were the next of course, yes, yeah, Freddie ad was
- 34:51Speaker 7: supposed to be the savior of American soccer. He was
- 34:55Speaker 7: supposed to be the guy that was going to break
- 34:58Speaker 7: American soccer. Open and turn it, you know, have us
- 35:01Speaker 7: competing on the world stage, and that he was going
- 35:04Speaker 7: to end up playing for Manchester United and all these things,
- 35:06Speaker 7: and he didn't pan out. Yeah, there was a lot
- 35:08Speaker 7: of hype around Freddy a day drugs. I don't know
- 35:11Speaker 7: what happened to him. I just don't think he was
- 35:13Speaker 7: ended up being as good as people thought he was
- 35:15Speaker 7: going to be. But Michelle Wee was was very, very good.
- 35:20Speaker 7: And she I said, I turned to her, Hi, Michelle,
- 35:23Speaker 7: and she goes, oh, I'm a big fan. And I
- 35:26Speaker 7: was like what she because I loved your Game of
- 35:29Speaker 7: Thrones songs. I said, oh my god, deep cuts, this
- 35:35Speaker 7: is surreal. I couldn't believe that she knew who I was.
- 35:39Speaker 7: That's crazy because I knew a big time who she was. Yeah,
- 35:43Speaker 7: and I said, I'm a big fan. Yeah. And then
- 35:48Speaker 7: one then we went to London to watch the Book
- 35:52Speaker 7: of Mormon and it was awesome.
- 35:57Speaker 3: That's great. We should have her on the We should
- 35:59Speaker 3: have brought her in today. Would have liked open we
- 36:01Speaker 3: have an open chair. Yeah, had Michelle Wie on.
- 36:04Speaker 7: Yeah, she's awesome.
- 36:05Speaker 3: She's did you get to see her play at all? No?
- 36:08Speaker 7: She was just sort of going around shaking hands.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Yeah, shew her a bit.
- 36:11Speaker 7: I think she works with that bank, but I don't know.
- 36:15Speaker 3: I was. It was a starstruck moment.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Yeah, and even more took my breath away because of
- 36:19Speaker 7: the fact that she knew who I was.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, which was crazy. Yeah, that would be sick.
- 36:23Speaker 7: For some reason, those songs got around the golf community.
- 36:26Speaker 7: Do you know who Gary Woodland is?
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you do. I've heard that name before for sure.
- 36:30Speaker 7: He won the US Open at the Beach about four
- 36:33Speaker 7: or five years ago and he Do you watch the
- 36:37Speaker 7: Full Swing doc on Netflix?
- 36:39Speaker 3: No? I haven't.
- 36:40Speaker 7: Oh it's good, I'll check it out. So he very
- 36:43Speaker 7: good American golf, a very popular guy. And he was
- 36:47Speaker 7: diagnosed with a brain tumor or a lesion or something
- 36:50Speaker 7: like that on his brain and had to have brain surgery.
- 36:53Speaker 7: And that was a year couple of years ago. But
- 36:56Speaker 7: right before that happened, his man at your assistant something
- 37:02Speaker 7: like that emailed me and said, Hey, it's Gary's birthday
- 37:07Speaker 7: in a week or so. He loves your Game of
- 37:09Speaker 7: Throne songs. Any chance you could make one for him?
- 37:13Speaker 3: Damn? And I was like, oh my god, that's hilarious.
- 37:15Speaker 7: So I strapped on my fucking cape, sat down at
- 37:20Speaker 7: the piano. It was like Sundayday, Gary's birthday. I'm excited,
- 37:25Speaker 7: I'm excited. I'm excited. I had to cater that song
- 37:31Speaker 7: to Gary Woodland's birthday. And then like a week later,
- 37:35Speaker 7: he has a brain tumor and I felt responsible.
- 37:38Speaker 3: So did you send him another No?
- 37:40Speaker 7: I didn't want it. The damage had been done.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's tough, but at least he got the He
- 37:44Speaker 3: probably watched the video when he was in the.
- 37:45Speaker 7: He did say he liked it. He messaged me. I
- 37:48Speaker 7: think his brain tumor happened more than a week or
- 37:51Speaker 7: two late. Yeah, but he he messaged me. And then
- 37:55Speaker 7: I asked if he wanted to play around at my club,
- 37:58Speaker 7: and he said he wouldn't be around for a bit,
- 37:59Speaker 7: but and he ended up going to play at my
- 38:02Speaker 7: club and asked if I wanted to join, and I couldn't.
- 38:04Speaker 7: Sadly why, I don't know. I was busy that that
- 38:07Speaker 7: I can't remember. It was really sad.
- 38:09Speaker 3: And that's a schedule clear, I know. Gott to find

- 42:56Speaker 7: Unfortunately, the bar for what is it schedule clearer now
- 43:01Speaker 7: for me has gotten pretty high, and that's not because
- 43:04Speaker 7: I'm like a hot shot. It's because I just don't
- 43:09Speaker 7: like to do stuff.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Oh.
- 43:10Speaker 7: Absolutely, what's something that is a schedule?
- 43:13Speaker 3: What a schedule? Clear is something that is so appealing
- 43:17Speaker 3: that you say, I'm gonna I'm fine facing the consequences
- 43:20Speaker 3: of canceling all of this stuff so that I can
- 43:21Speaker 3: do this. I know.
- 43:23Speaker 7: And it's not even so much canceling everything now as
- 43:27Speaker 7: it is getting over the hurdle of I didn't have
- 43:31Speaker 7: that planned. That's a bit of a grind to get
- 43:36Speaker 7: the course or to yeah, to whatever, and therefore it
- 43:40Speaker 7: had better be really worth it.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 43:44Speaker 7: What's that for you? Let's say that you had you
- 43:48Speaker 7: were in the middle of a really heavy work touring season. Yeah,
- 43:51Speaker 7: and you are doing tons of work shooting and heavy
- 43:55Speaker 7: podcasts and all this, just like pretty burned out, and
- 43:59Speaker 7: someone said, hey, dude, what do you think of this?
- 44:03Speaker 7: M You're gonna have to rent a car and spend
- 44:06Speaker 7: the entire day making it happen. But it's gonna happen.
- 44:11Speaker 7: I think I have an idea of what it might
- 44:13Speaker 7: be for me. Do say, Okay, you ready for this?
- 44:17Speaker 7: I'm ready, Harry, I've got Stephen Renaldi, the outdoorsman.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Okay, is that name Stephen Ronaldi?
- 44:34Speaker 7: Who am I talking about? The most famous hunter right now?
- 44:39Speaker 7: He's like the biggest guy.
- 44:40Speaker 3: I'm not really I don't think.
- 44:41Speaker 7: It's Stephen Ronaldi. Well, but he's also just an avid
- 44:44Speaker 7: outdoor Stephen Ranella. Yes, Stephen Ranella. I got Stephen Ranella.
- 44:50Speaker 7: He's a huge fan of yours, specifically hair ball. His
- 44:54Speaker 7: favorite thing is the me meme. Yeah, in fact, he
- 44:59Speaker 7: uses it all the time to respond to text People
- 45:01Speaker 7: are like Steve and you want to come fishing, and
- 45:03Speaker 7: he's like me, he's a big fan of you, and
- 45:08Speaker 7: he has access to private rivers on private land with
- 45:17Speaker 7: only wild rainbows. And these are the big these ones
- 45:22Speaker 7: are they've been fed by the chemical off waters of
- 45:26Speaker 7: a recent pharmaceutical processing, so they're fucking gigantic and they're
- 45:34Speaker 7: then they're making for good eating.
- 45:35Speaker 3: You eat them.
- 45:36Speaker 7: And Steven knows how to prap him right there over
- 45:39Speaker 7: an open flame, and he wants to fish with you
- 45:43Speaker 7: in this place that's private because he's buddies with the owner,
- 45:48Speaker 7: and uh, you want to come out? Do you think
- 45:51Speaker 7: you could do that? You can make that happen?
- 45:53Speaker 3: You would do that? You'd drop everything, Steve. Unfortunately, I'm
- 45:57Speaker 3: swamped this week, not going to be able to hate it.
- 46:02Speaker 7: You're telling me me, Steve Ranela, that you're not gonna
- 46:10Speaker 7: come fish me with me the the Nuclear Chernobyl Trout
- 46:16Speaker 7: of the Pittsburgh of the Pittsburgh Private Waterways.
- 46:19Speaker 3: It's tempting, it's definitely tempting. But I don't know if
- 46:22Speaker 3: that's a schedule clearer farm.
- 46:23Speaker 7: Damn dude. All right, well then you tell me what
- 46:25Speaker 7: is the schedule?
- 46:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 46:25Speaker 7: Actually I know I got one ready. Hi, Harriet's mom.
- 46:30Speaker 3: I've got tickets to uh Wicked.
- 46:34Speaker 7: Wicked it's only doing a limited run in London.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Yeah, i'd have to clear the schedule for that.
- 46:42Speaker 7: You sure would.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I mean yeah, I would say
- 46:46Speaker 3: he's going fishing with Steve. Probably wouldn't be a schedule
- 46:48Speaker 3: clear just because I don't know him personally.
- 46:51Speaker 7: You know him well enough to call him Steve, not Steven.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Like I would say, Like if my if my friends
- 46:55Speaker 3: called me and were like, hey, we planned a surprise trip.
- 46:59Speaker 3: We're gonna go fishing in central Pennsylvania, big big browns streamers. Yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 3: I'd say, yeah, clear the schedule.
- 47:07Speaker 7: What if they said it was in Montana.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, I would clear the schedule.
- 47:11Speaker 7: More likely for Montana than Pennsylvania.
- 47:14Speaker 3: They could say we're gonna go fish in Central Park.
- 47:18Speaker 3: We just all got here, and I would clear the schedule.
- 47:20Speaker 7: I love that. I love that. That's great.
- 47:23Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Cool.
- 47:25Speaker 7: So it's it's fishing, it really is.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Yeah, probably fish is something fishing related. I guess, like,
- 47:30Speaker 3: you know, I like going to I'm trying to think
- 47:35Speaker 3: of what another schedule clearer would be, you know, maybe
- 47:39Speaker 3: like a maybe like a football game. H Like if
- 47:42Speaker 3: someone was like, oh, we got you know, field passes
- 47:45Speaker 3: to go to at Gillette Stadium, Clear the schedule, Yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 3: call Mike, Mike, cancel everything.
- 47:53Speaker 7: You know, if one of the big esports cod teams clear,
- 47:58Speaker 7: clear the schedule, come.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Come, come shoot with us, come hang out, come toward
- 48:02Speaker 3: the facility. Yeah, schedule is cleared.
- 48:06Speaker 7: Well, you're lucky in that your schedule remain you keep
- 48:10Speaker 7: it open.
- 48:11Speaker 3: No, No, mine's jam packed. Yeah. I'm the busiest I've
- 48:16Speaker 3: ever been, easily non stop grinding what I.
- 48:22Speaker 7: Pull up, pull out your do you can put your
- 48:24Speaker 7: ship in your Google calendar. No, how do you keep
- 48:26Speaker 7: track of what you have to do?
- 48:27Speaker 3: H well.
- 48:32Speaker 7: I did.
- 48:33Speaker 3: I used to, and I kind of stopped.
- 48:35Speaker 7: You just don't even put stuff in anymore.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Like that's like I have like my tour dates.
- 48:43Speaker 7: To your go to your month, the whole month view,
- 48:46Speaker 7: go to the month view.
- 48:48Speaker 3: How do you do that? You hit you hit them?
- 48:53Speaker 3: H this is this is Apple, that's mine.
- 48:57Speaker 7: Yeah, we're using two different platforms. Look at this, check
- 49:00Speaker 7: out that week. Look at this month, dude, I was
- 49:03Speaker 7: home for four days.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Damn, that's tough.
- 49:08Speaker 7: Maybe maybe yeah, four days. I think check out these
- 49:10Speaker 7: weeks right here. Look, I don't want to get into
- 49:13Speaker 7: I mean, if we're.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Going to be, you know, showing off a lot of
- 49:16Speaker 3: free days on that, I think there's about one just
- 49:23Speaker 3: saying we're going to be flashing schedules. Yeah, we're having
- 49:27Speaker 3: a busy off.
- 49:29Speaker 7: What would it be for me? What would I what's
- 49:31Speaker 7: my schedule? Clear?
- 49:33Speaker 3: I mean, what if someone called you this weekend and
- 49:35Speaker 3: they were like, you were in port, you had Providence
- 49:37Speaker 3: booked right, and they were like Master's, free tickets, free flight,
- 49:40Speaker 3: What do you say, fuck man, free flight, free hotel.
- 49:47Speaker 7: Yeah again, I'm gonna put you up in the body
- 49:49Speaker 7: on my right now. This is what I'm taking this
- 49:51Speaker 7: is exactly what I'm talking about. You'd say no, so
- 49:55Speaker 7: it sounds amazing. Yeah, and you know, remove the body
- 50:00Speaker 7: artur part because that makes it conflicting, because that makes
- 50:03Speaker 7: it like a work thing.
- 50:05Speaker 3: Okay, so I'm.
- 50:06Speaker 7: Talking about canceling work for something pleasurable.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Yeah right, but it's kind of like a once in
- 50:13Speaker 3: a lifetime opportunity. Sure.
- 50:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I know that to go do that requires of
- 50:24Speaker 7: me flying, staying in a hotel, doing this and that.
- 50:28Speaker 3: But it's one of your nice hotels. It's not you know's.
- 50:32Speaker 3: We'll put you up at the Four Seasons for the weekend.
- 50:36Speaker 7: Yeah. Again, My initial reaction is, this is an amount
- 50:42Speaker 7: of exertion from you know, walking around probably entertaining doing whatever.
- 50:48Speaker 7: There's gonna be some expectation. I'm gonna have to do
- 50:52Speaker 7: something for this. Nothing.
- 50:54Speaker 3: There's no free lunch, right, I'm telling you, this is
- 50:56Speaker 3: a free lunch. There's no free lunch. This is my Okay,
- 50:59Speaker 3: I'm gonna this is this is ten years in the future.
- 51:02Speaker 3: I've hit it big. I'm worth billions. Francis my gift
- 51:06Speaker 3: to you for your birthday, all inclusive, free Master's tickets.
- 51:12Speaker 7: Yeah, but.
- 51:14Speaker 3: You've got comedy works Denver sold out five shows.
- 51:18Speaker 7: See, then I wouldn't be able to cancel that. I
- 51:21Speaker 7: wouldn't be able to cancel.
- 51:22Speaker 3: And I'm gonna pay you ten grand on top just
- 51:25Speaker 3: to go. Now we're talking, so your schedule clearer is
- 51:28Speaker 3: a little then even then i'd have you're a little
- 51:31Speaker 3: bit more picky on the schedule clearing than I am.
- 51:34Speaker 7: Yeah, even then, I'd have this weird guilt. I'd have
- 51:37Speaker 7: a ton of guilt about peeling on the people who
- 51:40Speaker 7: had bought tickets to that show.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Also, I don't think I would get I don't think
- 51:44Speaker 3: I would cancel a full weekend at Denver Comedy Works. No,
- 51:47Speaker 3: because that's already gonna be fun.
- 51:49Speaker 7: And so I wouldn't do it at Providence, any any
- 51:51Speaker 7: place that where the ticket sales and that I and
- 51:53Speaker 7: I think that I don't know if it's Master's tickets,
- 51:58Speaker 7: What is it? What is something that I'm really dying
- 52:00Speaker 7: to do. I'll tell you I know exactly what it is.
- 52:04Speaker 7: It's playing Augusta myself. That's what it would be. I
- 52:09Speaker 7: would cancel everything to play Augusta. I would cancel everything
- 52:14Speaker 7: playing it myself, not anywhere near the mast.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Okay, I think Augusta.
- 52:22Speaker 7: Well, as far as you're seeing like a public course,
- 52:26Speaker 7: I mean, as I've said, I've played Pine Valley, which
- 52:29Speaker 7: is the rank of number one course in the country.
- 52:33Speaker 7: That's probably the nicest I've played, Shinnacock, I've played National.
- 52:39Speaker 7: I wrote a blog about this. I wrote a blog
- 52:41Speaker 7: that was the top ten golf courses I've played that
- 52:45Speaker 7: make other people jealous that I've played them. It's the
- 52:48Speaker 7: very specific criteria. It's not the ten nicest courses I've played.
- 52:53Speaker 7: It's the courses that have the most cachet, right, So
- 52:58Speaker 7: there are courses that are in people's minds more coveted.
- 53:06Speaker 7: Wearing a hat with that logo, people say, oh my god,
- 53:09Speaker 7: are you are? You got on there?
- 53:11Speaker 3: So now I got a good question for you because
- 53:13Speaker 3: I saw this on Twitter yesterday. Are you like so
- 53:16Speaker 3: you said, you got the hat, You get the hat,
- 53:17Speaker 3: you go to the course, you get the hat, you
- 53:19Speaker 3: rock the hat. People look, they say, you know that guy,
- 53:23Speaker 3: something's up.
- 53:24Speaker 7: He's got a connect.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Where do you get his hat? Yeah? Yeah? Do you
- 53:28Speaker 3: think people should be allowed to wear master's gear if
- 53:31Speaker 3: they don't go to the masters? Good questions? People on
- 53:34Speaker 3: Twitter are saying, you shouldn't be able, to which I
- 53:37Speaker 3: strongly disagree.
- 53:38Speaker 7: Yeah, good question. I mean I don't have any problem
- 53:41Speaker 7: with people wearing Masters gear. And here's why anyone say.
- 53:46Speaker 3: They they made good gear, they got good gear.
- 53:48Speaker 7: Well, it's not just that, it's that there to me.
- 53:52Speaker 7: You know, you go to the Masters, you buy Master's gear,
- 53:56Speaker 7: super cool? Have you so great? There's a gigantic difference
- 54:02Speaker 7: between wearing Masters gear and Augusta National gear. I say,
- 54:08Speaker 7: you go and you get that invite to go play
- 54:10Speaker 7: Augusta National, and you get a piece.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Of gear, you head into that pro schure and you're
- 54:14Speaker 3: in that pro shop. Now, I don't know pro shops
- 54:17Speaker 3: like a fucking Walmart.
- 54:19Speaker 7: I've never been. No, wait, what do you mean by that?
- 54:23Speaker 3: I don't know if it is multiple floors. The one
- 54:26Speaker 3: in Pine Valley's tiny. Really Yeah, pro shops are sick.
- 54:30Speaker 3: That's just because on my gearhead then me too, me too,
- 54:33Speaker 3: that's my favorite part. Hitting the pro shop.
- 54:35Speaker 7: Ohoopy Ohoopy was my favorite pro shop.
- 54:37Speaker 3: I don't know if I've really been to any really nice.
- 54:39Speaker 7: Pro Shopshopy match Club.
- 54:41Speaker 3: I like taking all the free ball markers.
- 54:45Speaker 7: Yeah, grab Frankie BURRELLI collects the score card pencil from
- 54:49Speaker 7: every golf course that's played, and he's going to create
- 54:51Speaker 7: a giant sort of display of them in a frame.
- 54:53Speaker 3: That's sick. That's a cool.
- 54:55Speaker 7: Yeah, some people take a golf ball with the logo
- 54:58Speaker 7: from every place. Oh yeah, I like that. I like
- 55:02Speaker 7: I get hats because it's the cheap. I don't need
- 55:04Speaker 7: any more quarter zips at this point.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Now you know what I mean, you really only need one.
- 55:08Speaker 7: Hats are cheaper. They're like thirty bucks. Yeah, so I
- 55:11Speaker 7: buy a hat, I have the logo, I wear them.
- 55:15Speaker 3: You a visor guy at all?
- 55:17Speaker 7: No, I could see it, not really. I bought one
- 55:20Speaker 7: when I was out in La. I played a course
- 55:22Speaker 7: out in La and I bought a visor. And it
- 55:24Speaker 7: just makes me look like I'm heading to a NASCAR race.
- 55:28Speaker 3: When I wear a visor. My hair is so straight
- 55:31Speaker 3: that it and it's long that it it goes over
- 55:34Speaker 3: the rim of the visor, getting perfectly flops over them.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Like this looks terrible.
- 55:42Speaker 7: God, see, you weren't a nineties kid.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Visors had a moment. Oh, I know. We wear
- 55:48Speaker 3: people all.
- 55:50Speaker 7: Through the late nineties, early two thousands. It was really
- 55:54Speaker 7: early two thousands. Yeah, when we were shopping at Hollister, Aeropostale,
- 56:00Speaker 7: American Eagle, and Abercrombie. Yeah, but we I mean, I'd
- 56:03Speaker 7: go to Lids in the mall, a pickup.
- 56:06Speaker 3: I'd wear Advisor. Would you get a flat cap visor?
- 56:10Speaker 3: That would be hilarious.
- 56:11Speaker 7: I got the one with the sea through blue cellophane lid.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Oh it's got a see through lid like a dome.
- 56:20Speaker 3: I didn't have that.
- 56:22Speaker 7: But who are elderly people playing shuffle board wear those?
- 56:26Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:26Speaker 7: The one that's not with the dome, the light blue
- 56:29Speaker 7: fucking lid. I don't know if I've seen it, and
- 56:32Speaker 7: it's like plastic.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, yeah, you know what I'm talking about. Yeah,
- 56:36Speaker 3: I know what you're talking about. Those are great. Yeah,
- 56:39Speaker 3: those are strictly sun protection. Is there? Do you wear
- 56:42Speaker 3: style points?
- 56:42Speaker 7: Do you wish let me ask you something?
- 56:45Speaker 3: Ask me. You were a child of the of the aughts? Sure?
- 56:49Speaker 3: The aughts is.
- 56:50Speaker 7: The decade of twenty twenty ten?
- 56:52Speaker 3: Right? Yeah? What is that?
- 56:56Speaker 7: What is that decade?
- 56:58Speaker 3: What is it?
- 56:58Speaker 7: What is your nostalgia of that decade as a kid
- 57:01Speaker 7: growing up in that time? We were born in what
- 57:04Speaker 7: ninety seven?
- 57:05Speaker 3: Ninety eight? Me? Yeah, I was born in two thousand
- 57:07Speaker 3: and one. Okay, so my I guess growing up, I
- 57:12Speaker 3: mean right off the bat nine to eleven.
- 57:14Speaker 7: Okay, we're not doing that again, doing what We're not
- 57:19Speaker 7: doing this. We're not going down that road.
- 57:21Speaker 3: I don't understand. You're asking me what what it was
- 57:23Speaker 3: like growing up for me. Yeah, but I remember I
- 57:27Speaker 3: was born and then I remember I was scared, terrible,
- 57:29Speaker 3: damn it. I knew it. I remember I was horrified
- 57:34Speaker 3: for years. I had to go into therapy when I
- 57:37Speaker 3: was like three. A lot of us did, a lot
- 57:41Speaker 3: of us two thousand.
- 57:46Speaker 7: We've just done this. We've done this so many times.
- 57:49Speaker 3: And it never gets old. It's a hitter, it is. Yeah.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Now I would say, like a nostalgia for me is
- 57:57Speaker 3: like I don't know, like Zach and Cody TV. Yeah, TV.
- 58:03Speaker 3: But all right in Disney Shan that's fair. Club Penguin, Yeah,
- 58:07Speaker 3: what's Club Penguin? Yeah, Webkins was big when I was
- 58:12Speaker 3: really young. What's that like a stuffed animal that you
- 58:15Speaker 3: would you would buy at the store. It's actually a
- 58:16Speaker 3: pretty good idea. You'd buy the stuffed animal at the
- 58:18Speaker 3: store and then it had a bar code or like
- 58:21Speaker 3: a QR code on it, and you would you'd scan
- 58:24Speaker 3: that and then it would like upload your stuffed animal
- 58:27Speaker 3: onto the game and then you and then it was
- 58:30Speaker 3: like kind of like sims like you had like a
- 58:32Speaker 3: house and you could like build on and stuff, but
- 58:34Speaker 3: it was your stuffed animal in the game. I love this.
- 58:36Speaker 3: I don't know, was great.
- 58:38Speaker 7: That's your version of our Tamagatchi.
- 58:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but I we had Toamagatchi.
- 58:42Speaker 7: Too, No, you did, did, No, the technology had improved.
- 58:45Speaker 3: The absolutely had a tomachi.
- 58:47Speaker 7: But that's the cat bought them at like a nostalgia short.
- 58:50Speaker 7: Probably bought them at like a Walmart one that was
- 58:53Speaker 7: going out of business because of how successful Amazon had
- 58:59Speaker 7: become by that.
- 58:59Speaker 3: Now, Amazon was not successful when I was a child.
- 59:03Speaker 7: All right, So you I had as a nineties kid
- 59:08Speaker 7: growing up in the nineties. I remember the bare naked Ladies.
- 59:12Speaker 7: I remember the music Sublime, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears in Sync,
- 59:20Speaker 7: things like that, Jewel mansm No.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Yeah, you're thinking music when you're a child, though, you're
- 59:31Speaker 3: thinking when you were like a teenager. But it's like
- 59:33Speaker 3: when I was a child. So my nostalgia from being
- 59:37Speaker 3: a child is the same as yours of being a teenage.
- 59:39Speaker 7: But I was twelve when you were born.
- 59:42Speaker 3: Okay, so, but like I was just like Britney Spears
- 59:46Speaker 3: was big when I was very young. But you don't
- 59:48Speaker 3: remember her. You weren't country, Yes, I did. We weren't
- 59:51Speaker 3: sing her sing Star two on PlayStation two. I remember singing,
- 59:56Speaker 3: Oh Baby Baby, hit Me Baby one more Time? Yeah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: When did that come out? I don't fucking know, but
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: I remember it.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: I thought that was in the late nineties.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: I think you're wrong. Thing tight. She was on SingStar two,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: not one.
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: Did you have dance Dance Revolution?
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: We didn't have it like at home?
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Uh? Okay, you ready for this?
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: Hit Me Baby one More Time debut single nineteen ninety nine.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: Really, yep, I wonder why it wasn't on Singhstar one
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: right the.
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: Fray, Yeah, there you go. That's that makes sense. I
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: was a heartbroken teenager making mixtapes with Fray songs for
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: girls that didn't like me on Valentine's Day.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and you were singing in on SingStar too.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: That's when you were a kid.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Yes, I was a kid.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: Perfect. What was the style when you were in ten
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: to thirteen? What was the what were clothing? What? What
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: was that like?
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: Pretty similar to just what I wear now, kind of
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: just shorts and a T shirt. You know, maybe we
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: wear some jeans. I wanted jeans, Jenkos, but we were
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: rocking like like there would be kids walking around in
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: like am one basketball shorts, like fucking down to the ankles. Yeah,
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: oh yeah, neon green basketball shorts pulling up to school
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: like the brightest green you've ever seen. If you were
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: deep in the Canadian woods, you'd be able to spot
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: me a mile away with those shorts on. And zigsis
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: what's that? Rebox rebox zigs?
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: What were they?
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: They were just shoes that the soles were zigs. We
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: had Nike shocks.
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: Yeah, that was our big.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Shoe like that.
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: Yeah, forces I was obsessed air Maxes with Allen iverson.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: You ever have air Max's air Max ninety fives.
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: I wasn't cool enough to know that those were cool.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: I had them, and I told people said, I'd kill
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: you if you tried me for these.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: In high school, kids started wearing those.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Get it the game, What I kill you if you
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: tried me for my MX ninety five's the game said
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: that yeah, M hate it or love it? Fitty, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: that's that's your nostalgia. You should be up on that.
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: G Unit had a pair of rebox that they made.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Really the units, the G Unit box. I got to
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: take a peek at these things.
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: They were cool, people had them. They weren't that expensive.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: I don't think I thought about it for a while,
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: didn't do it, didn't pull Trigg.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Pretty generic.
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: Yeah they were.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: It just looked like my shoes.
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: Yeah, they were.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Understated, So that's cool. I'm glad.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: I'm glad I got to the bottom movie.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Guess how much they are? Now? Yeah?
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: Are they expensive?
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: They're not crazy expensive for shoes?
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: What two hundred bucks?
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Now they're fifteen hundred? What there's the women's are fifteen hundred,
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: five hundred, five hundred?
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: Are you looking on stock.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: X eleven hundred? It's all like eBay and yeah, well
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: but that's how much people pay for like crazy shoes.
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: I guess so right, Yeah, we're just.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Not shoe guys.
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: I was you were, remember you weren't around yet. I
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: went through a big shoe face.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: I just have always been obsessed with trying to find
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: ways to get things that other people have a hard
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: time getting. I'm a treasure hunter. Yeah you know what
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: I mean.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: So if you were to tell me right now, if
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: you're like, dude, I am obsessed. I'm obsessed with you know,
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: golden jewels, like the jewel that you smoke. Okay, I
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: don't even smoke jewels.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: You'd go get one, though, I would.
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: Do everything in my power to dedicate all of my
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: time to finding as many of them as I could.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: What if it costs ten g's, I would.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: Find a way to get them for retail. I would
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: travel to London if I had to.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not like that at all.
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: Taking a show then meet some guy in Piccadilly or
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: Covent Garden.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Interesting, very interesting.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: I still can't get over the fact that Pat Bev
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: came on the pod and carries loose diamonds.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't really understand that either.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: I said at the time, are you doing an arm steel?
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: That's what it seems like.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: That's the only time I've ever seen people trade in diamonds.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not like he's going to Dwayne Reid being like,
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: all right, let me let me cut you off a
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: sliver and takes out of diamond cliff bar because the.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: Only thing I can cut it is a diamond, right, Yeah,
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: of course, I don't know if that's true.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: In Minecraft, iron I think actually cuts Diamond.
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: The the Minecraft movie, you saw that theaters around the country, people.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Are destroying, destroying the teens. That's your generations everywhere. No,
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: not my generation, that's teens.
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: Why are you guys such ruffians?
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: I don't really know why they're doing that. But that's
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: not like a new thing. I remember when I went
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: to see the Life of Timothy Green with my mom
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: and my and my friend and my siblings and and
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: go to London. We went to London and uh, some
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: teens set off fire crackers in the theater. We had
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: to evacuate the building because we were like, there's a
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: shooting happening right now. Yeah, that's scary. It's pretty crazy.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: And it was like two girls, hmmm, Wow, they're probably
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: not only fans.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: I actually think that. Can I can you tell me
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: if this is wrong?
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: They would be firecrackers in the in the theater is
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: a one way path to only fans.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: Yeah, those girls do not have a consistent relationship with
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: their fathers.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: It just feels like I'm going down the same path,
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: Like I feel like twitch streaming is not as far,
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: not that far off from being an OnlyFans girl when
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: you end the stream and then it's just you sitting
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: there sick.
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: Is there an amount of money that if someone said, hey,
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: I want you to crank your hog at the end
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: of the stream.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: No, there's no amount of money. None, none, No, there
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: really isn't. No. I really don't think there's amount of
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: money because I think I'm pretty like I'm comfortable enough
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: right now that like, yeah, obviously a billion dollars, I
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: would never have to work again in a day in
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: my life, and no one I know would ever have
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: to work again. But the shame, like I wouldn't be
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: able to have a normal life after that. Imagine like
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: going out to dinner with someone, They're like, how did
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: you get this reservation? And you're like, I jerked off
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: on stream a decade ago and got a billion dollars
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: for it.
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: Yeah, And at which point nobody would care because you
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: know why, hairball.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Because everyone's gonna have to do that eventually. It's going
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: to be the new that's gonna be how we live.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: It could be talk into the jerking off fucking stream.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: But it also could be that, uh, the people you're
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: talking to weren't assessing your candidacy for.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Catholic school. You know what, everyone that has what that
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: amount of dis qualify. If you have a billion dollars,
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: all people are asking is how did that person get
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: a billion dollars? Fine? Oh what do they do? Oh?
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: He jerks off on camera. All right, Yeah, that's not
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: what I want people to say about.
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: But people, we know, people that have only fans, and
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: you say, well, how do they they We don't even
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: say that. We say, oh, they make this amount of
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: money on OnlyFans. And my reaction isn't whoror it's holy shit.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: I don't blame her. I would do the same. Now
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: I don't actually know because my circumstances are different. Right,
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: it's to your point, who knows what went behind that decision.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: I think that's what we want to believe, is that
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: we say, right, good for them, Okay, I think deep
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: down you go whore. No, I don't. I don't care
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: if anyone does OnlyFans. I don't. I'm saying that's not
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: something that like. I think there's also I think it's
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: also a lot more socially acceptable for a woman to
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: do OnlyFans than it is for me to be playing
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: video games for three hours and then at the end
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: of it wrap it up with me cherking off on camera.
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: Is there a nudity thing on Twitch?
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Band span Yeah. They would shut my stream.
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: And I saw this clip once of like a girl
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: pulling her tits out on a Twitch stream and all
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: the people that were on the mic were.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Like, no, no, yeah, I think you just get banned immediately.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: It'd be like if we uploaded the podcast to YouTube
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: one day and all of our dicks were out in
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: the fucking thumb now, and they'd be like, yeah, no,
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: this is not You're not allowed to do that. This
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: isn't a website.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: I just don't know the I don't know the different
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: streams because it's Twitter. You can do it on Twitter.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: You could kill someone on stream, yeah, and they'd be like,
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: it's it's not against our terms of service, so we
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: have to leave it up. Technically.
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: This is what I was going to say to you
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: last episode that I forgot. I've been seeing I've been
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: getting fed this new thing that is amazing. It's Thailand
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: Military Service and it is apparently, and I have no
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: idea if this is true or not, but apparently it's
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: a lottery. If you get selected for mandatory military service, right,
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: and they draw a card and if it's red, you go,
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: if it's black, you don't, and they hate the soldiers
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: are there, and then the new candidate comes forward and
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: they keep showing videos on this particular channel of the
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: most effeminate gay presumably gay men walking forward for this
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: selection process, wearing high heel lipstick rouge, and the soldier
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: takes their hand and like twirls them and then they
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: draw the card and then they tell them you're not
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: in the military. And then these guys start like weeping
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: and like trying to kiss the cheeks of the soldiers,
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: and everybody's part of it. Everybody's on board. Yeah, it's
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: very funny.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta see this.
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: I want to find one of these.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: You gotta send me that. I will.
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: It's it's great. That's what I've been seeing a lot
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: of lately.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: That's crazy. The mandatory draft lottery shit is insane. That's
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: like the that big K pop were they in Thailand?
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: That's Korean? Yeah, they got they're just in the military now,
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: all of them, I think so. Yeah, and they were
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: like the biggest band probably on the planet.
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: There are exemptions there was that golfer who in the Olympics.
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: If he had won a medal, I think he would
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: have been exempt from military and he missed it by
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: he missed it by like one putt.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: That's so fucked up. I know, that's unbelievably make this putt.
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: And you don't have to do basic training in two
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: years of you know, military service in a country that well,
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: I guess it's better that they're not really in any wars,
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: although there's always the threat from North Korea.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: Of course, the looming threat. All right, that was fun,
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: that's it?
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: Okay, No, we've been going for well over an hour.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Is that so?
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: How fun? Hey, I'm enjoying this. I'm enjoying getting to
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: know you again. I'm learning so much about you totally.
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: Was England the only place that you guys went as
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: a family for that trip?
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:12:24Speaker 7: How many European have you been to? Any other European countries?
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: France and Italy with your family? Now buddies, Sololo, you
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: went alone.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Out with my buddies. That's not solo. I didn't go
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: with my family.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: Italy and France on the same trip with them. Yeah,
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: that sounds cool. I'd like to hear about that.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it was fun.
- 1:12:43Speaker 7: Might as well save it for our next episode. We

- 1:12:53Speaker 7: couldn't make it.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Frances couldn't make it. All right, awesome, all right.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: I'll be in Kansas City, West, Naiak, Dallas and Chicago
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: to round out my spring tour.

- 1:13:05Speaker 7: I'm excited about that. Chicago's flying tickets at punch Up
