- 1:38lineup, The Nicely nixt Nixon Case. Ladies and gentlemen, wait, take
- 1:45you now behind the scenes of a police headquarters in a great American city.
- 1:49We're under the cold glaring lights, will passed before us, the innocent,
- 1:53the vigrant, the thief, the murderer. This is the line up.
- 2:28Hello, yeah, here's mister Bullmash. Oh, how do you do,
- 2:31mister Bomash. It's still a little nervous, Lieutenant. Why sure you are
- 2:37and we can sit right here. This isn't exactly the kind of day I
- 2:42want to remember me. Look, no, thanks, I'll see you then.
- 2:45Goodbye, mister Bullmash. Oh, goodbye, Sarden. I wish you
- 2:50had been at my place this afternoon when it happened, So do I,
- 2:53mister Bullmash. We picked up a couple of men in the neighborhood that you
- 2:57might recognize. Now just take your time and look them over us room,
- 3:05May I have your attention? Please sprain the line up to you. Each
- 3:13of the suspects you will see will be numbered. I'll call up a number,
- 3:15the name and charge. If you have any questions or identifications, please
- 3:21remember the number. A sign to the prisoners, I call his name at
- 3:24the end of each line. When I ask for questions their identifications, call
- 3:28out the number. Give you a sure or not too sure of the suspect.
- 3:30Tenant Holp, the officers who took your name will assist you there seated
- 3:35among you. When the prisoners lead here, they are sent to the washroom
- 3:38and dress back in their jail clothes. It makes it quite difficult to bring
- 3:43them back after they leave here. The questions I asked these suspects are merely
- 3:46to get a natural to the voice, So do not pay too much attention
- 3:51to their answers, as they often lie. Bring on the line, all
- 3:55my boys, come on all the way over to the end of the stage.

- 22:11as a hold up man, been arrested several times in the last twenty years.
- 22:17We think he's been working with another man, recently holding up loan officers
- 22:19around town. Oh. No, three days ago Johnny and his partner killed
- 22:25a man in a loan office. We know it was him. He wouldn't
- 22:30do anything like that. Let's think about it, missus. McCall, the
- 22:34record, way he's conducted himself as friends, and the information about him we've
- 22:40just given you. He's lied to you from the very first look. I
- 22:44want to see him. I want to talk to him and tell him I
- 22:45don't believe anything you've told me. Judy, I won't talk to you anymore,

- 31:00be speaking, this is the CBS Radio Network, Welcome back. I have
- 31:52to admit the most stuff uneasy and challenging part of this program was when we
- 32:00were dealing with the fifteen year old quote unquote wife of one of the suspects,
- 32:09and I think they had to be really sensitive around the topic, particularly
- 32:19in the error they were at, because what had happened and obviously been a
- 32:24very bad thing. The acting in that scene I thought was really important,
- 32:32was really well done, and it was vital the role of the fifteen year
- 32:37old in essence. To really do that right, you had to play the
- 32:43character as someone who was really trying hard to be a full grown woman but
- 32:49was still a girl with a lot of growing up to do, just been
- 32:54through something very traumatic. I think did a great job. I think the
- 33:00story with subtlety so nicely note on that, and that'll actually do it for
- 33:08today. We will be back on Monday with yours truly Johnny Doller. Join
- 33:15us back here on Saturday for another episode of the Lineup. In the meantime,
