- 0:02Speaker 1: On scorn lives Australia. This is the Reader Panalty Show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Riata Patty Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 2: up tonight, the Great Douglas Murray weighs in on Australia's
- 0:15Speaker 2: latest anti Semitic scandal, and he also explains why Donald
- 0:19Speaker 2: Trump has waged war on the racist South African government.
- 0:23Speaker 2: The Albanezi government, together with the Coalition, is looking to
- 0:26Speaker 2: introduce more laws to curb free speech. Dan Wilde will
- 0:30Speaker 2: be witnessed shortly to discuss that and much more, and
- 0:34Speaker 2: m Horowitz will have the latest from the US, Ukraine
- 0:38Speaker 2: and the Middle East. As President Trump's deadline for her
- 0:41Speaker 2: mask to release all the hostages draws closer and in
- 0:46Speaker 2: Left he's losing it. We've got preachers calling for violence
- 0:50Speaker 2: against Elon Musk.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Sometimes the devil will act so ugly that you have
- 0:55Speaker 3: no other choice but to get violent and faint.
- 0:59Speaker 2: But first's former New South Wales nurses Sarah Abu Lebdie
- 1:03Speaker 2: and Armored Reshad Nidia have made headlines around the world
- 1:08Speaker 2: after they bragged about killing Israeli patients, apparently threatening to
- 1:12Speaker 2: kill more.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Let's say, let's say an Israeli.
- 1:17Speaker 1: God beat them.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I won't treat them, I'll kill them.
- 1:20Speaker 1: You'll kill them.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Okay, you have no idea how many Israelis A dog
- 1:24Speaker 5: came to this hospital and Jehannahanna.
- 1:30Speaker 2: The video generated horrified reactions in the global media. The
- 1:35Speaker 2: UK Telegraph reported nurses suspended for threatening to kill Israeli
- 1:39Speaker 2: patients in Australia. Australian hospital examines patient records after nurses
- 1:45Speaker 2: claim to have killed Israeli's. That was from the Washington Post,
- 1:49Speaker 2: and the Jerusalem Post had the headline Australian Jews questions
- 1:53Speaker 2: safety at hospitals after nurses threatened Jews. Now authorities are
- 1:58Speaker 2: investigating Nida's class that he has killed Israeli patients who've
- 2:02Speaker 2: presented to the war he worked in. Nadea has since
- 2:05Speaker 2: apologized for his remarks, telling the Daily Telegraph that he
- 2:09Speaker 2: was joking in the video. Meanwhile, his left his family
- 2:14Speaker 2: reacted when journalist Liam Mendez approached them for comment.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Why are you.
- 2:22Speaker 2: What do you say about the allegation?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Tell me, Zara?
- 2:29Speaker 7: Walking towards the Nate Nate Nate, they said to me
- 2:33Speaker 7: about all right, all right, okay, I need my phone back.
- 2:35Speaker 2: What has happened?
- 2:36Speaker 4: I don't understand what's happened. I haven't been able to
- 2:38Speaker 4: talk to us. She's in a freaking extreme panic attack.
- 2:40Speaker 5: At the present time, I'm trying to calm it down
- 2:42Speaker 5: to see what she's been a nurse for.
- 2:45Speaker 4: God knows how long She's never done.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Anything to her anyone, do you know? I mean now
- 2:48Speaker 2: for more on this. As the Deputy executive director of
- 2:51Speaker 2: these Schute of Public Affairs, Dan Wild, Dan, not only
- 2:55Speaker 2: is this deeply disturbing, but it's again painted Australia in
- 3:00Speaker 2: a terrible light around the world.
- 3:05Speaker 8: Yeah, it has, Reader, I think it shows how far
- 3:08Speaker 8: our country has fallen and how deep the problems are here.
- 3:12Speaker 8: Of course, you know, maybe this is an isolated incident,
- 3:15Speaker 8: as Premier Chris min suggest, I don't know, But as
- 3:18Speaker 8: Peter Dutton has quite rightly said today, there should be
- 3:22Speaker 8: a probe into the citizenship situation with these individuals. I
- 3:26Speaker 8: understand that they are citizens of Australia. How did someone
- 3:30Speaker 8: like this become a citizen of our country? Who granted
- 3:34Speaker 8: their citizenship? And it gets to this broader point, reader,
- 3:37Speaker 8: that we've been talking about, you know since you know,
- 3:39Speaker 8: over the last couple of years, which is there's a
- 3:43Speaker 8: much deeper issue to do with our citizenship and migration program.
- 3:47Speaker 8: We have many people that have been taking to the
- 3:49Speaker 8: streets engaging in anti Semitic conduct that are not just
- 3:52Speaker 8: temporary migrants, but our citizens of our country. Either they
- 3:55Speaker 8: became naturalized citizens or they were born here, which is
- 3:58Speaker 8: even more concerning. So yes, of course these individuals should
- 4:02Speaker 8: be sacked. I think that's pretty straightforward. But you know,
- 4:05Speaker 8: until we're going to have a deeper probe into our
- 4:07Speaker 8: migration system and actually fix it, I'm not convinced that
- 4:10Speaker 8: these deeper problems are going to go away anytime soon.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Now. Further information about armed Rashad Nadir, the male nurse
- 4:19Speaker 2: in that video. Let's have a look at this coverage
- 4:24Speaker 2: from SPS and it came to Australia as a refugee
- 4:27Speaker 2: fleeing with his family from Afghanistan. He has since become
- 4:30Speaker 2: an Australian citizen, got his citizenship back in August twenty twenty,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and he's featured in media on a couple of occasions,
- 4:41Speaker 2: held up Dan as an example of the success of
- 4:45Speaker 2: multiculturalism in Australia. This is him as a high school
- 4:49Speaker 2: student being interviewed by SBS back.
- 4:52Speaker 5: In Afghanistan, there was not much opportunity to go to
- 4:55Speaker 5: school in.
- 4:56Speaker 9: A freeway, in a freedom Rushad and his family fled
- 4:59Speaker 9: Afghanistan for Australia when he was just twelve years old.
- 5:02Speaker 2: That was back in twenty and fifteen, and he was
- 5:05Speaker 2: also the subject of this write up from the Helmsman
- 5:08Speaker 2: Project in twenty twenty one, says Rashard's story from Afghanistan
- 5:13Speaker 2: to Auburn the Power of Hope, Help and Love. The
- 5:17Speaker 2: headline reads that Dan, the online story appears to have
- 5:20Speaker 2: been scrubbed from the internet. You can understand why.
- 5:28Speaker 8: Yeah, And I don't want to tire inyone with the
- 5:30Speaker 8: same brush. I'm sure a lot of people that come
- 5:32Speaker 8: into the refugee program are doing the right thing, and
- 5:35Speaker 8: we want to have a welcoming and tolerant migration system.
- 5:38Speaker 8: But you know, as we're just talking about, we don't
- 5:41Speaker 8: have the processes in place to deal with this properly.
- 5:44Speaker 8: We've had just this massive expansion to migration, particularly of
- 5:47Speaker 8: the last few years, but actually, you know, many years
- 5:50Speaker 8: before that, and I'm not convinced this proper checks and
- 5:52Speaker 8: processes that are in place. And look, the reality is
- 5:57Speaker 8: that you know, you mentioned multiculturalism. Well, it's very divisive concept, multiculturalism.
- 6:02Speaker 8: I think that where you know, multi ethnic, yes, multiracial, sure,
- 6:06Speaker 8: but multicultural is is a divisive concept because it dilutes
- 6:09Speaker 8: the concept of a majority culture. And unfortunately, many activists
- 6:13Speaker 8: have used mass migration as a weapon to undermine our
- 6:17Speaker 8: shared Australian values. And that's not only to the detriment
- 6:19Speaker 8: of all of us, but particularly to the new migrants
- 6:21Speaker 8: who want to do the right thing. So you know,
- 6:23Speaker 8: again this gets back to the much deeper issue that
- 6:25Speaker 8: we have a failed migration program and it needs to
- 6:28Speaker 8: be fixed.
- 6:31Speaker 2: And words matter, what you said there is so correct
- 6:34Speaker 2: where we should be celebrating the fact that we're a
- 6:37Speaker 2: multi ethnic country. That's something to be treasured. All ethnicity is,
- 6:45Speaker 2: regardless of your background, your equal in this country. You
- 6:48Speaker 2: have equal opportunity. But to pretend that all cultures are equal,
- 6:53Speaker 2: that every culture will be celebrated in this country, that
- 6:56Speaker 2: we will overlook the shortcomings of some cultures where their
- 7:00Speaker 2: values do not align with ours, I think you're just
- 7:04Speaker 2: asking for trouble there. Now, let's turn our attention to
- 7:07Speaker 2: a bipartisan push for tougher workplace laws in order to
- 7:12Speaker 2: enable universities to sack anti Semitic staff. Part of the
- 7:16Speaker 2: reforms would involve a mending the Fair Work Acts so
- 7:20Speaker 2: that discipline reaction can be taken against staff and Australian
- 7:23Speaker 2: Research Council grant recipients for hate crimes or breaches of
- 7:28Speaker 2: the Racial Discrimination Act DAN. I can see this being
- 7:32Speaker 2: misused within I don't know five minutes. Do we really
- 7:36Speaker 2: need more anti free speech laws? We already have laws
- 7:41Speaker 2: in place for inciting violence, for anything that is a
- 7:46Speaker 2: violent to act. Why do we want to have more
- 7:50Speaker 2: laws introduced into the workplace.
- 7:54Speaker 8: Yeah, I think that the first step is to enforce
- 7:56Speaker 8: the laws that are there, like you say, And one
- 8:00Speaker 8: of the I guess concerns that I have and a
- 8:02Speaker 8: lot of people have, is that we've never had more
- 8:05Speaker 8: hate speech laws on the books, so called hate speech
- 8:07Speaker 8: laws or any freement laws on the books, and anti
- 8:10Speaker 8: Semitism has never been worse, at least since World War
- 8:13Speaker 8: Two in this country. So the first point is these
- 8:16Speaker 8: laws often don't do what they say that they're going
- 8:19Speaker 8: to do. And the second issue is that they can
- 8:22Speaker 8: often be used not in the manner which they're intended.
- 8:27Speaker 8: I mean, just look at section eighty in see of
- 8:28Speaker 8: the Racial Discrimination Act. I mean your colleague Andrew Bolt, Well,
- 8:32Speaker 8: he was targeted by that Bill Leak, the prominent the
- 8:36Speaker 8: late Bill Leak, who was a prominent cartoonist and social commentator,
- 8:39Speaker 8: was targeted under section eighten CE. So it was never
- 8:42Speaker 8: used for the purposes it was intended. Soquite often these
- 8:44Speaker 8: laws can get hijacked by activists to shut down the
- 8:47Speaker 8: opinions of mainstream Australian So I could I totally understand
- 8:51Speaker 8: where people are coming from. You know, when they say
- 8:52Speaker 8: they want to have more laws and they want to
- 8:54Speaker 8: crack down on anti Semitism. I get that, and I
- 8:56Speaker 8: agree with cracking down on anti Semitism, but I think
- 8:59Speaker 8: in forced laws that are on the books is the
- 9:01Speaker 8: first step and have better policing of the issues.
- 9:06Speaker 2: We've seen these laws that are already existing be breached
- 9:11Speaker 2: every weekend in our major cities. We've seen police do
- 9:16Speaker 2: next to nothing, and the solution seems to be, let's
- 9:20Speaker 2: introduce more laws where there is the scope for those
- 9:23Speaker 2: to be misused. Just last week, the Albani is a
- 9:26Speaker 2: government with the support of the Coalition, pasted more hate
- 9:30Speaker 2: speech laws and we've had Christian schools for examples, say
- 9:34Speaker 2: that these laws can be misused to attack religious schools
- 9:41Speaker 2: for example. I mean, is that really something that we
- 9:44Speaker 2: want to enable? Now, let's move on to Football Australia
- 9:48Speaker 2: being labeled. Week after it refused to remove Sam Kerr
- 9:53Speaker 2: from a position as the captain of the Matilda's in
- 9:56Speaker 2: response to her infamous incident in London. Found not guilty
- 10:01Speaker 2: of racially aggravated harassment, Football Australia released a statement supporting her,
- 10:07Speaker 2: without confirming whether she'd stay honest captain. There's been no
- 10:11Speaker 2: update from them since Dan The point has been made
- 10:15Speaker 2: if the word black was used instead of white, regardless
- 10:20Speaker 2: of the court case, the ramifications for Kerr would be
- 10:24Speaker 2: dramatically different.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Yeah, and I don't think Sam Kerr should be captain
- 10:31Speaker 8: of the Matildas. And I think her broader role in
- 10:33Speaker 8: the team also needs to be questioned. As many others
- 10:35Speaker 8: have said, there's been kind of a sycophantic media sort
- 10:39Speaker 8: of worship of O Samantha Kerr. And you know, I'm
- 10:43Speaker 8: not sure whether what she said, you know, should have
- 10:45Speaker 8: been taken to court and gone through that process. To
- 10:47Speaker 8: be honest with you, it's more so her behavior throughout
- 10:50Speaker 8: the trial and the fact that she's never really properly apologized.
- 10:53Speaker 8: I mean, she gave kind of an apology, but it
- 10:55Speaker 8: was a bit merely mouth. And you know, I think
- 10:57Speaker 8: when you're the captain, you're probably the most prominent women's
- 11:00Speaker 8: soccer player in the country and one of the most
- 11:03Speaker 8: prominent in the world. Well, there are expectations people will
- 11:06Speaker 8: look up to you. She's also violated Football Australia's Code
- 11:10Speaker 8: of Conduct that all the players are held up to.
- 11:13Speaker 8: So you know, Football Australia is weak. They're also woke
- 11:17Speaker 8: because they supported the Voice to Parliament. They were one
- 11:19Speaker 8: of the first organizations in the sporting world to support
- 11:23Speaker 8: racial division in the Voice to Parliament. So I think
- 11:26Speaker 8: a lot of people look at this and say exactly
- 11:27Speaker 8: as you've identified. And we saw this with the AFL
- 11:30Speaker 8: when tex Walker went through this issue of alleged racist
- 11:33Speaker 8: comments or he was rubbed out for six matches and
- 11:35Speaker 8: many other consequences. But Sam Kirk gets a magic carpet, right.
- 11:38Speaker 8: It's just not fair.
- 11:41Speaker 2: The double standard is glaring, and particularly when these organizations
- 11:46Speaker 2: do getting involved in political grand standing, taking positions on
- 11:50Speaker 2: the Voice, then you're expected to follow through with that
- 11:54Speaker 2: and walk the talk, and football Australia have definitely failed
- 11:58Speaker 2: to do that. Dan Wild, thank you so much for
- 12:00Speaker 2: your time tonight. Johnny me Now is best selling author
- 12:04Speaker 2: Douglas Murray Douglas, I'll get your thoughts on the latest
- 12:08Speaker 2: anti Semitic incident in Australia that is making headlines around
- 12:12Speaker 2: the world. I'll get your thoughts on that shortly, but
- 12:14Speaker 2: let's start with President Donald Trump and his Department of
- 12:18Speaker 2: Government Efficiency headed by Elon Musk. They're gutting USAID, something
- 12:24Speaker 2: that has alarmed the Democrats, the activist class, and even
- 12:28Speaker 2: the Vatican. The Vatican claims this will cost millions of lives,
- 12:32Speaker 2: but you wrote a piece for The Spectator arguing that
- 12:35Speaker 2: this money has been going to essentially insane people who
- 12:40Speaker 2: hate America and that the UK and perhaps other Western
- 12:43Speaker 2: democracies should follow America's lead.
- 12:46Speaker 7: Here absolutely, Rita, It's amazing, isn't it. I Mean, everyone
- 12:52Speaker 7: knows about government waste, and we often talk about it,
- 12:57Speaker 7: but when someone comes along and actually tries to stop waste,
- 13:00Speaker 7: there are.
- 13:01Speaker 1: All of these howls.
- 13:03Speaker 7: What Elon Musk and his DOGE team found in us AID,
- 13:08Speaker 7: and it's merely the surface of it.
- 13:10Speaker 1: What we've actually read about is an.
- 13:13Speaker 7: Incredibly corrupt, wasteful, and what's more, anti American system. It
- 13:19Speaker 7: would be one thing if there was a foreign aid
- 13:22Speaker 7: body in your country which was doing sort of soft
- 13:27Speaker 7: power pro American, pro democracy, pro on the side of freedom,
- 13:31Speaker 7: pro free market sort of movement. But what you find
- 13:35Speaker 7: in usaid, what the team found is what you can
- 13:40Speaker 7: find in the UK's foreign aid budget and many other countries,
- 13:44Speaker 7: which is actually the American taxpayers were paying for systems
- 13:50Speaker 7: that actually seemed to rather dislike America and seemed to
- 13:53Speaker 7: be rather anti American, and in many cases were examples
- 13:58Speaker 7: of the American taxpayer funding versions of the hopefully now
- 14:03Speaker 7: increasingly defunct American Woke Mind virus around the world. There
- 14:09Speaker 7: was a bit of a hulla baloo because early on
- 14:13Speaker 7: it was said that there was fifty million dollars that
- 14:17Speaker 7: had been used to buy condoms to send to Gaza,
- 14:21Speaker 7: and it turned out that actually that was a slight
- 14:24Speaker 7: misreading and it was fifty million dollars for condoms in
- 14:29Speaker 7: part of West Africa. I don't really see that that's
- 14:33Speaker 7: the biggest misreading imaginable the question. I think for a
- 14:39Speaker 7: lot of American taxpayers is why are we selling a
- 14:41Speaker 7: very large number? Why are we paying for a very
- 14:43Speaker 7: large number of condoms to be sent anywhere in the world.
- 14:47Speaker 7: Other people buy their own condoms. But I mean that's
- 14:52Speaker 7: just the sort of easier end of it. I mean,
- 14:54Speaker 7: there were things like the American taxpayer was paying for
- 14:57Speaker 7: people to have sex changes in col Colombia. And when
- 15:02Speaker 7: the Democrats and certainly the international critics of Elon Musk
- 15:07Speaker 7: and Doge weigh in on this, I have a challenge
- 15:10Speaker 7: for them, which is, you know, if you think the
- 15:14Speaker 7: American taxpayer is so flooded with money that they can
- 15:19Speaker 7: pay for Colombian sex changes, and if you think it's
- 15:22Speaker 7: absolutely outrageous that that fund should have been stopped, there's
- 15:27Speaker 7: a great opportunity, you know, for all of the left
- 15:30Speaker 7: wing governments in Australia and elsewhere. Why don't you pick
- 15:33Speaker 7: up the slack. Why don't you pick up the slack
- 15:36Speaker 7: if that's not the wrong metaphor to use, and you
- 15:39Speaker 7: pay for the Colombian sex changes, and then you can
- 15:44Speaker 7: feel really good about yourself and not just beat up
- 15:46Speaker 7: on Elon Musk.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Now, last week, President Donald Trump also signed an executive
- 15:53Speaker 2: order freezing aid to South Africa after the government they
- 15:57Speaker 2: introduced these laws where lend can be seas, typically from
- 16:01Speaker 2: white farmers without compensation. The Trump administration is also formulating
- 16:06Speaker 2: a plan to resettle white South African farmers and their
- 16:10Speaker 2: families as refugees. Douglas, The question has to be asked,
- 16:14Speaker 2: why aren't other Western nations that supposedly value equality, value
- 16:20Speaker 2: property rights. Why aren't they stepping in here? Why are
- 16:23Speaker 2: they still sending millions in aid to a rogue nation.
- 16:29Speaker 7: Well, because, of course, the corrupt ANC in South Africa
- 16:34Speaker 7: in particular loves receiving international aid money and loves squirreling
- 16:39Speaker 7: it away into their own pockets. I saw that myself
- 16:42Speaker 7: in South Africa in recent months. You know, all of
- 16:46Speaker 7: the dophins, the princelings of the ANC leadership all drive around,
- 16:50Speaker 7: including in townships like Soweto, in Ferraris and Lamborghinis and
- 16:56Speaker 7: the most extraordinarily expensive cars, and they've basically rub the
- 17:00Speaker 7: faces of the poor of the townships in their enormous wealth.
- 17:05Speaker 7: So that's where a lot of our foreign aid money went.
- 17:08Speaker 7: It went into the pockets of the ANC and their princelings.
- 17:13Speaker 7: And if anyone thinks that that's a good deal, then
- 17:15Speaker 7: I've got a bridge to sell them. But you know
- 17:18Speaker 7: that the problem is with South Africa and the ANC
- 17:21Speaker 7: in particular, is that they run off the moral fumes
- 17:26Speaker 7: of the successful overthrow of apartheid. And that's all well
- 17:30Speaker 7: and good, except that that's decades ago now, and just
- 17:33Speaker 7: because you were part of the anti apartheid movement does
- 17:37Speaker 7: not mean that for the rest of time you should
- 17:40Speaker 7: be allowed to be corrupt and to misgovern your country,
- 17:43Speaker 7: and to loot your country and to pretend that there's
- 17:47Speaker 7: something better about you when in actual fact, in the
- 17:50Speaker 7: case of the South African government, they oversee the most
- 17:53Speaker 7: appalling poverty still in their country, which does not have
- 17:57Speaker 7: to be the case. South Africa is a country of
- 17:58Speaker 7: great promise, was governed well. There's no reason why a
- 18:04Speaker 7: government that literally cannot even keep the lights on in
- 18:08Speaker 7: Johannesburg and Cape Town should be regarded as some kind
- 18:11Speaker 7: of moral arbiter or deserving evaid if they want to
- 18:16Speaker 7: misgovern themselves, and that's one thing, but misgoverning themselves with
- 18:20Speaker 7: our financial support is something else.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Entirely.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Do you see South Africa heading down the path that
- 18:30Speaker 2: we find Zimbabwe. It just rampant corruption inequity, poverty, a
- 18:39Speaker 2: country again with so much promise that has descended into
- 18:45Speaker 2: third world conditions in many ways.
- 18:48Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I mean, you know, the fastest way to
- 18:51Speaker 7: advance in South African politics still is to try to
- 18:55Speaker 7: pretend that the white farmers, for instance, are some kind
- 18:59Speaker 7: of overlord privileged class and they must be raised war on.
- 19:04Speaker 7: You remember that one of the candidates at the last
- 19:06Speaker 7: elections in South Africa, who really did rather well, led
- 19:11Speaker 7: to people in the stadium to the charming war cry
- 19:15Speaker 7: of shoot the burrs or shoot the white farmers. Effect
- 19:20Speaker 7: what he was saying, so that that is actually something
- 19:24Speaker 7: that should should demand international attention. It's not a popular cause,
- 19:30Speaker 7: it seems for some reason. But if we do believe
- 19:33Speaker 7: in anti racism, if we do believe that people shouldn't be.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Racist, then that goes every way.
- 19:39Speaker 7: And people who had targeted for murder and for the
- 19:44Speaker 7: theft of their land, their farmland in South Africa, but
- 19:49Speaker 7: just because they're white, that cause should be taken up
- 19:52Speaker 7: by people just as much as if black farmers in
- 19:56Speaker 7: South Africa in the past had been persecuted in the
- 19:59Speaker 7: same way. It's it's just a total lack of consistency on.
- 20:02Speaker 2: That absolutely to Australia now and sadly we are making
- 20:08Speaker 2: headlines around the world for all the wrong reasons. After
- 20:11Speaker 2: two nurses, both of them sacked now, but these two
- 20:14Speaker 2: nurses at a Sydney hospital had this to say about
- 20:18Speaker 2: how they would treat Israeli patients. It's Palistin's country, not.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Let's say an Israeli God for beet them.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I won't treat the luck to them.
- 20:29Speaker 1: You'll kill them.
- 20:30Speaker 10: So if an Israeli is in Australia and that's forbid,
- 20:33Speaker 10: something happened to him and.
- 20:35Speaker 1: He comes to your hospital, would you kill him?
- 20:38Speaker 5: Okay, you have no idea how many Israeli A dog
- 20:42Speaker 5: came to this hospital and.
- 20:47Speaker 2: He claims he sent them to Jahannam, which means hell Douglas.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Those two have been sacked, But one fear is that
- 20:56Speaker 2: this problem is far more widespread than that pair.
- 21:01Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I just saw a video a few moments
- 21:04Speaker 7: ago before joining Eureta of a health worker in New
- 21:08Speaker 7: South Wales who said she had tried to warn about
- 21:11Speaker 7: this for the past fifteen months, since it became normal
- 21:15Speaker 7: for healthcare workers, nurses and others to join in genocidal
- 21:19Speaker 7: chants like from the river to the sea. It's extremely disturbing.
- 21:24Speaker 7: I wish I was surprised by it, but I'm not.
- 21:27Speaker 7: People like those two despicable health workers there are just
- 21:32Speaker 7: the sort of most obvious spear tip of a much
- 21:37Speaker 7: bigger problem. I mean, they have the audacity to actually
- 21:41Speaker 7: boast about the fact that they would like to kill
- 21:45Speaker 7: Jews on the operating table if they find them, and
- 21:48Speaker 7: seem to have implied that they've done that in the past.
- 21:50Speaker 7: I hope all of that is looked into, and I
- 21:52Speaker 7: hope they face appropriate jail time. But I'd like to
- 21:56Speaker 7: know what it is in the health system in Australia
- 22:00Speaker 7: has encouraged and tolerated that. You can see from their
- 22:03Speaker 7: very unpleasant Hijabbi who just pushes her way in there,
- 22:08Speaker 7: how incredibly not just evil she is, but how proud
- 22:12Speaker 7: she is of her evil.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Both of them are.
- 22:14Speaker 7: And I suspect they didn't keep that to themselves until
- 22:17Speaker 7: this week.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I suspect there were a lot of people who worked
- 22:20Speaker 1: with them who knew exactly what they believed.
- 22:22Speaker 7: And I bet these two couldn't keep their pride in
- 22:25Speaker 7: their evil to themselves. I bet there are all sorts
- 22:28Speaker 7: of warning signs that were seen should have been reported
- 22:31Speaker 7: and noticed about this a lot earlier. And then the
- 22:34Speaker 7: question should be of their colleagues, former colleagues and others,
- 22:38Speaker 7: why did you think this was normal?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Why do you think this was tolerable? If again, it's
- 22:43Speaker 1: like with the white South African farmers.
- 22:44Speaker 7: If there was a nurse or a doctor in your
- 22:48Speaker 7: hospital who said that they really looked forward to killing
- 22:51Speaker 7: black people whenever they ended up on the operating table
- 22:55Speaker 7: in their hospital, I think that every single civilized and
- 22:59Speaker 7: decent person would have said, I think something needs to
- 23:02Speaker 7: be done about this person.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Now.
- 23:04Speaker 7: Why wasn't it the case with these two racist anti semites.
- 23:09Speaker 7: I would love to know the answer to that, because
- 23:11Speaker 7: I very much doubt that it stops with that.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Before you go, I want to bring to your attention
- 23:17Speaker 2: this exchange between British broadcaster Julia Hartley Brewer and journalists
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yvonne Ridley and the leftist activist journalist Yea von Ridley
- 23:27Speaker 2: claims that her mass has been extending acts of kindness
- 23:31Speaker 2: upon Israel. Is there any reason why Hammas couldn't and
- 23:34Speaker 2: shouldn't release them all.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Once the hostages go?
- 23:41Speaker 11: And every act of kindness that has been shown to
- 23:44Speaker 11: Israel has just been sorry.
- 23:48Speaker 2: What were those acts of kindness?
- 23:50Speaker 11: Well, they gave them goodie bags. I don't know what
- 23:55Speaker 11: was it, but they gave them gifts. They give them
- 23:58Speaker 11: a little momentum toast Palestinian mementos.
- 24:02Speaker 2: There you go, Douglas. They gave the hostages that they
- 24:06Speaker 2: kept in tunnels, some of them fading them very infrequently.
- 24:11Speaker 2: They gave them goodie bags. So you know, we should
- 24:14Speaker 2: really be quite grateful.
- 24:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, as well as torturing them, hanging them
- 24:19Speaker 7: upside down, beating them and doing mark executions on them
- 24:23Speaker 7: for fifteen months. Yvonne Ridley, I'm interested to see her
- 24:27Speaker 7: back in the spotlight. I've known about her for almost
- 24:30Speaker 7: quarter of a century now. She's a very sick and
- 24:33Speaker 7: twisted individual. She used to work for a British newspaper
- 24:37Speaker 7: and when she did, she was taken captive by the
- 24:40Speaker 7: Taliban in Afghanistan, and she suffered what is well known
- 24:44Speaker 7: as Stockholm syndrome. That is, she adopted the believes of
- 24:47Speaker 7: hers She actually converted to Islam when in Taliban captivity,
- 24:55Speaker 7: and she didn't just sort of you know, she didn't
- 24:58Speaker 7: take the most sort of moderate suit version of Islam
- 25:01Speaker 7: or anything like that. No, she went full jihadi by
- 25:04Speaker 7: about two thousand and four, when Abu moved A al
- 25:06Speaker 7: Sakawi in Iraq.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Was kidnapping and beheaded Western.
- 25:11Speaker 7: Journalists and aid workers and others, she referred to him
- 25:15Speaker 7: as brother al Sakawi. There's never been an extreme Jihadis
- 25:20Speaker 7: that Yvonne Ridley has not adored.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Now, there is obviously some.
- 25:24Speaker 7: Psycho sexual explanation for that, which people far more knowledgeable
- 25:30Speaker 7: than me in the paranoias and manias of human beings
- 25:35Speaker 7: could diagnose. But of course it ends up in this place,
- 25:39Speaker 7: and I'm glad that she's exposed herself once again for
- 25:43Speaker 7: the lunatic she is. Anyone who looks at the emaciated
- 25:49Speaker 7: men who were released by hamaz In again a very
- 25:54Speaker 7: unfair swap of murderous Palestinian prisoners for innocent Israelis who'd
- 25:59Speaker 7: been killed. Now, anyone who looked at the emaciated hostages
- 26:03Speaker 7: could see that these were men who've been put through
- 26:05Speaker 7: hell for the last fifteen months or so, and in fact,
- 26:10Speaker 7: in all three cases seem to have reportedly, as you
- 26:13Speaker 7: can also see from the footage, had to learn how
- 26:15Speaker 7: to walk again, just in the days before they were released.
- 26:20Speaker 1: These men have been.
- 26:21Speaker 7: Put through absolute hell by barbarians in Hamaz. And yes,
- 26:26Speaker 7: you really do have to have the sort of sick
- 26:29Speaker 7: psychology of Ivonn Ridley to believe that if at the
- 26:33Speaker 7: end of it you give a so called goodie bag,
- 26:35Speaker 7: god knows what that really means in this context to
- 26:38Speaker 7: the hostages, that you should in some way be applauded. Fortunately,
- 26:42Speaker 7: as it happens, I see the end of Hamaz is
- 26:46Speaker 7: very nigh and Yvonne Ridley will be one of those
- 26:52Speaker 7: sick Westerners who's going to have to find another death
- 26:55Speaker 7: cult to attach herself to because she's not going to
- 26:59Speaker 7: have many allies left.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Douglas Murray, thank you so much for your time this.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Evening, great pleasure.
- 27:07Speaker 2: As always still to come, Lefties losing it plas Tulsi
- 27:12Speaker 2: Gabbard confirmed, and fresh developments in the US, Ukraine and
- 27:16Speaker 2: the Middle East as Trump's foreign policy revolution continues. Army
- 27:20Speaker 2: Horowitz as the latest. You're watching the Reader Paney Show,
- 27:32Speaker 2: and it's time for lefties losing it. Just when you
- 27:36Speaker 2: think the shrews of the view couldn't sink any lower,
- 27:40Speaker 2: they go and surprise you by mocking a cute little child. Apparently,
- 27:44Speaker 2: Elon Musk's four year old son X is fair game
- 27:48Speaker 2: because Whoopee, yes, whoopee, Coldberg has decided to mock his name.
- 27:54Speaker 12: Yesterday, Elon Musk took his son X to a press conference.
- 28:00Speaker 12: I did not name the child, and I don't want
- 28:04Speaker 12: to hear anyone mess about our names. Okay, okay, AnyWho.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He took little X.
- 28:15Speaker 12: A little instagram?
- 28:18Speaker 2: He doesn't.
- 28:20Speaker 12: He just took a little X with him to a
- 28:22Speaker 12: first conference in the Oval office.
- 28:25Speaker 2: You know what, X is an adorable name, and perhaps
- 28:28Speaker 2: a grown woman who named herself Whoopie should refrain from
- 28:33Speaker 2: mocking a four year old for the name his parents
- 28:35Speaker 2: gave him. Yes, Whoopy picked that name for herself. She's
- 28:39Speaker 2: actually Karen Elaine Johnson. Now, how did Karen become Whoopie?
- 28:44Speaker 2: You're gonna love this. According to Goldberg, once I started
- 28:48Speaker 2: getting parts in players, I wanted a name that sounded
- 28:51Speaker 2: more interesting. Karen Johnson, wasn't it. Some people at the
- 28:55Speaker 2: rep called me Whoopie because I would let loose with
- 28:59Speaker 2: a far just charming. Charming. As for X, well, he
- 29:03Speaker 2: seems to have more sense than the ladies of the view.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Here he is with his father, whattun?
- 29:09Speaker 13: I do.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Save America? And hell Trump? Okay, now to more wacky
- 29:17Speaker 2: antiques from our friends on the left, and sadly these
- 29:20Speaker 2: days that includes preachers. Many churches have been corrupted by
- 29:25Speaker 2: far left lunatics, and this one from Tennessee seems to
- 29:29Speaker 2: be calling for violence against Elon Musk.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Have a listen an attempt to take us back to
- 29:35Speaker 3: a day that we do not want to go, and
- 29:37Speaker 3: we will not go. Therefore there will be conflict. I
- 29:42Speaker 3: pray that the peace of God will win out and
- 29:45Speaker 3: overcome the madness that is a timpting to take over
- 29:48Speaker 3: this nation. And I will say to you, beloved, no
- 29:51Speaker 3: one likes violence, but sometimes violence is necessary. When Elon
- 29:57Speaker 3: Musk forces his way into the United States Treasury and
- 30:00Speaker 3: threatens to steal your personal information and your Social Security check,
- 30:06Speaker 3: there is the possibility of violence. Sometimes the devil will
- 30:11Speaker 3: act so ugly that you have no other choice but
- 30:15Speaker 3: to get violent and.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Find say what now, Sometimes violence is necessary, and the
- 30:21Speaker 2: devil will act so ugly that you have no other
- 30:24Speaker 2: choice but to get violent and fight. That's what he said.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Ibilon Mass considers some legal action because that sounded like
- 30:31Speaker 2: he was inciting violence. Now to Canada. We're a reverend
- 30:35Speaker 2: and LGBT activists preaching that Christians should stop referring to
- 30:40Speaker 2: Jesus as their savior because it may be offensive to
- 30:44Speaker 2: other religions.
- 30:45Speaker 13: There was one word in those bedrock beliefs that began
- 30:49Speaker 13: for me to be uncomfortable, problematic. When people now come
- 30:56Speaker 13: to our church, many of them will first check the
- 30:59Speaker 13: website to see what this church is about what they believe,
- 31:03Speaker 13: and many of the folks who did that would tell
- 31:05Speaker 13: me out of the community, Bretta. I looked up your
- 31:07Speaker 13: church and it sounded reasonable, but when I got to
- 31:09Speaker 13: that word savior, it was a problem. It was a
- 31:14Speaker 13: problem because I'm from another faith tradition, or it's a
- 31:18Speaker 13: problem because.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I don't believe that everyone has to.
- 31:23Speaker 13: Accept Jesus as personal Lord and savior, like the fundamentalists say.
- 31:27Speaker 2: If you're from another faith or you don't think you
- 31:29Speaker 2: should accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, then what
- 31:32Speaker 2: are you doing in a Christian church? I mean, really,
- 31:35Speaker 2: do you think anyone walks into a mosque and demands
- 31:38Speaker 2: they stop being so preoccupied with Muhammed? I don't think so.
- 31:42Speaker 2: If activists are running your church, then your church isn't
- 31:45Speaker 2: really a church anymore. Now, let's check in with possibly
- 31:49Speaker 2: the most annoying woman in the world, guess, even more
- 31:52Speaker 2: annoying than MSNBC anchors and the ladies of the view.
- 31:56Speaker 14: If you're going to be a bigot, be a bigot
- 31:59Speaker 14: with your whole lass chest. You'll have to forgive me, Pumpkin.
- 32:04Speaker 14: My particular flavor of neurospaciness prefers bluntness. They them, isn't
- 32:09Speaker 14: a singular pronoun that you're spouting is wrong?
- 32:13Speaker 2: Cute eat us, the APA.
- 32:15Speaker 14: MLA, Oxford Dictionary, Mirriam Webster, Chat, GPT, Wikipedia, and basically
- 32:23Speaker 14: every source on the Internet. Sweetie, They're all gonna tell
- 32:28Speaker 14: you you're wrong.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I hate to break it too, sweetie, but just because
- 32:34Speaker 2: Wikipedia and other online resources have been corrupted by filef
- 32:38Speaker 2: lunacy doesn't mean you or they are right. It just
- 32:42Speaker 2: means the rot is deep. It means the transactivists have
- 32:45Speaker 2: managed to exercise disproportionate power and try to convince folk
- 32:50Speaker 2: that I don't know Day's night white is black men
- 32:53Speaker 2: are women. But sadly, there are plenty of brainwash simpletons
- 32:57Speaker 2: who have swallowed every argument put forward by the transactivist
- 33:02Speaker 2: and that includes the adult daughter of Tim Woles. You
- 33:05Speaker 2: remember him, the man who wanted to be vice president.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Here is his daughter ranting about Donald Trump's executive order
- 33:13Speaker 2: protecting women's sport from male bodies.
- 33:16Speaker 15: Signing in an executive order that pertains to one percent
- 33:19Speaker 15: of the population is not protecting women. It's setting a
- 33:23Speaker 15: dangerous president, and it is dangerous for the trans community, women, minorities,
- 33:30Speaker 15: anyone who was not a streetweight man. We are talking
- 33:34Speaker 15: about human beings and the President of the United States
- 33:37Speaker 15: is targeting them.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Gosh, didn't we dodger bullet not having that family in
- 33:41Speaker 2: the White House, including Gwen Woles, remember her, my dad.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Of Trump.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Are turning away terrifying. Instead of her, we got usher vance.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I mean, can you think of a better upgrade? And
- 34:00Speaker 2: talking about dodging bullets, we also dodged having Kamala as
- 34:04Speaker 2: president and her family in the White House. Let's check
- 34:07Speaker 2: in now with Kamala's adult step daughter, and she's sprooking
- 34:13Speaker 2: some sort of body oil.
- 34:14Speaker 9: What I did realize about having body hair is someone
- 34:17Speaker 9: always has something to say about it, whether it's good
- 34:19Speaker 9: or bad. There's something very shocking still about body hair.
- 34:23Speaker 9: Most commonly, I see, I bet you smell bad or damn,
- 34:27Speaker 9: that's dirty? Little did and do they know I'm as
- 34:30Speaker 9: clean as a whistle and heavily moisturized thanks to fur oil.
- 34:34Speaker 9: I've been using this heavily in my daily routine for
- 34:36Speaker 9: as long as I have had body hair.
- 34:38Speaker 2: And we'll have plenty more lefties losing at content with
- 34:41Speaker 2: my next guest. Today, the Justice Department announced it was
- 34:45Speaker 2: suing New York over its failure to fully cooperate with
- 34:48Speaker 2: federal immigration enforcement. Governor Kathy Hochel, State Attorney General Letitia James,
- 34:55Speaker 2: and DMV Chief Mark Schroeder are all in the firing line.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Here is US Attorney General Pambondi.
- 35:02Speaker 16: We have filed charges against the State of New York.
- 35:05Speaker 16: We have filed charges against Kathy Hochel. We have filed
- 35:08Speaker 16: charges against Letitia James and Mark Schroeder. This is a
- 35:11Speaker 16: new DOJ and we are taking steps to protect Americans,
- 35:16Speaker 16: American citizens and Angel moms like the moms standing right
- 35:20Speaker 16: behind me, who you're going to hear from in a moment.
- 35:24Speaker 16: New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens.
- 35:30Speaker 2: It stops.
- 35:31Speaker 16: It stops today.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Joining me now is filmmaker and journalist Amy Horoidzammy, you're
- 35:38Speaker 2: a New Yorker. Why is your state deliberately defying efforts
- 35:43Speaker 2: to enforce the.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Law beyond belief? Rita.
- 35:48Speaker 17: Okay, I mean, the Democrats have just lost an election,
- 35:52Speaker 17: not a small part because this issue, maybe primarily because
- 35:55Speaker 17: of this issue. They haven't learned a single lesson. It's
- 36:00Speaker 17: unbelievable to me. They're actually writing the twenty twenty six
- 36:04Speaker 17: script for the Republicans and how they can defeat them again. Okay,
- 36:08Speaker 17: I mean, let's take Brandon Johnson, who is the mayor
- 36:13Speaker 17: of Chicago, as a case study on this issue.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Okay, Brandon Johnson.
- 36:16Speaker 17: At fourteen percent approving as a one for RITA, he's
- 36:22Speaker 17: the lowest approval rating of any politician in America. He
- 36:27Speaker 17: is a lower approval rating than Kendrick Lamar at a
- 36:31Speaker 17: Drake family reunion. That's how bad it is for him. Okay,
- 36:35Speaker 17: this is a James right who Pam Bondi, by the way,
- 36:38Speaker 17: I love her, talked about right there. But this is
- 36:40Speaker 17: a James wrote that our laws protect all New Yorkers,
- 36:46Speaker 17: all New Yorkers. I'm sorry people have come here illegally.
- 36:50Speaker 17: Are not New Yorkers. They are not one of us.
- 36:52Speaker 17: They are legally in New York. They are draining our resources,
- 36:55Speaker 17: they are causing crime, and they're crowding our street with
- 36:58Speaker 17: homelessness and crats alike, natural Republicans, Democrats.
- 37:02Speaker 4: These blue cities are sick of it.
- 37:04Speaker 17: That's why when you looked at an electoral map, you
- 37:07Speaker 17: saw that every single district moved to the right.
- 37:10Speaker 4: They may have all vote for Trump, but they moved
- 37:12Speaker 4: the right.
- 37:13Speaker 17: And then Pam Binding, God bless her Saul, God bless
- 37:15Speaker 17: her blonde Saul. Look, she's now threatening to cut off
- 37:19Speaker 17: DOJ funding to these blue cities, which in New York
- 37:22Speaker 17: alone got one point five billion dollars and overall they're
- 37:26Speaker 17: going to write billion dollars.
- 37:28Speaker 4: I'm here for it, man, So what we got to do.
- 37:32Speaker 2: They are not messing around, like she said. It's a
- 37:35Speaker 2: new Justice Department and they're going to be enforcing the law.
- 37:39Speaker 2: And you would think New York, of all places, just
- 37:42Speaker 2: with the rising violent crime, the fact that a couple
- 37:46Speaker 2: of months ago you had a poor woman burnt to
- 37:50Speaker 2: death on the on the train in the Metro by
- 37:53Speaker 2: an illegal immigrants, you would think and this would focus
- 37:56Speaker 2: their minds but apparently not. Now let's move on to
- 38:00Speaker 2: another win for President Trump, with the US Senate confirming
- 38:05Speaker 2: Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence. Here is
- 38:09Speaker 2: Toulci being sworn in by Pambondi.
- 38:13Speaker 4: You solemnly swear that I will support.
- 38:15Speaker 6: Ended in the Constitution of the United States.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Former Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell was the only Republican
- 38:24Speaker 2: to vote against Tulsi's confirmation, though these days, with his condition,
- 38:29Speaker 2: one wonders if someone else is pulling McConnell's strings. Remember this,
- 38:35Speaker 2: Did you.
- 38:36Speaker 6: Hear the question, senator running for reelection in twenty twenty six?
- 38:43Speaker 6: All right, I'm sorry you are working a new minute, senator.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Anyway, Yeah, they did more than a minute. He just
- 38:53Speaker 2: frozen there. I mean, tell me what this confirmation means
- 38:58Speaker 2: for the Trump administration.
- 39:01Speaker 17: Yeah, by the way, that was not easy to watch
- 39:03Speaker 17: even a third or fourth time with mich McConnell. Look,
- 39:08Speaker 17: it means that Trump has won again. He has got
- 39:12Speaker 17: everybody who once confirmed. It seems that he has got
- 39:15Speaker 17: the entire Publican party in line backing him and even
- 39:21Speaker 17: his more controversial picks, including RFK and including.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Telsea Gabbert, who, to be honest, I wasn't a big
- 39:29Speaker 4: fan of hers.
- 39:30Speaker 17: I think there were a better choice than her, But
- 39:33Speaker 17: it was Trump choices where he went and look, you
- 39:36Speaker 17: got it in My hats are off. That was That
- 39:38Speaker 17: was a difficult confirmation to get over the line, and
- 39:40Speaker 17: he did with almost no problem.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Now, don't go anywhere. We've gotten more from Army Horowitz
- 39:45Speaker 2: after the break, including negotiations to end the war in
- 39:48Speaker 2: Ukraine and Donald Trump's deadline for Hermas. Welcome back. I'm
- 40:03Speaker 2: joined with Army Horowitz. Army. The wins keep on coming
- 40:06Speaker 2: for the Trump administration. With Russia releasing a US hostage,
- 40:10Speaker 2: the White House secured the release of Pennsylvania teacher Mark Fogel,
- 40:14Speaker 2: who had been wrongfully detained for almost four years in
- 40:17Speaker 2: Russia after being arrested with legally prescribed marijuana. Let's hear
- 40:21Speaker 2: from Mark Fogel.
- 40:23Speaker 10: I feel like the luckiest man on earth right now,
- 40:27Speaker 10: and I want you to know that I am not
- 40:32Speaker 10: a hero in this at all, and President Trump is
- 40:38Speaker 10: a hero. These men that came from the Diplomatic Service
- 40:45Speaker 10: are heroes.
- 40:46Speaker 2: And earlier today we heard that negotiation to end the
- 40:49Speaker 2: war in Ukraine are set to begin after President Trump
- 40:53Speaker 2: had what he called a lengthy and highly productive conversation
- 40:57Speaker 2: with Vladimir Putin. Ukrainian President Zelensky has welcomed the push
- 41:02Speaker 2: for pace. Now, Ami, what is the timeline for these negotiations.
- 41:07Speaker 2: We know Donald Trump said that he could secure peace
- 41:10Speaker 2: in record time, and is that achievable after three years
- 41:15Speaker 2: of war?
- 41:16Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 41:17Speaker 17: First of all, it was great to see another American
- 41:19Speaker 17: hostage released from the clutches of Putin and Russia. I
- 41:26Speaker 17: think that they moved in far more and it was
- 41:28Speaker 17: alacrity to get rid of get to get him there,
- 41:30Speaker 17: as opposed to Biden, which took him years actually to
- 41:33Speaker 17: call Mark Fogel wrongfully detained, whereas.
- 41:36Speaker 4: He moved very quickly to get.
- 41:38Speaker 17: A brighter out and traded for the merchant of death
- 41:41Speaker 17: Victor bout as far to Ukraine, Europe and the United States.
- 41:46Speaker 17: I think what you're seeing here is absolutely fascinating. First
- 41:49Speaker 17: of all, looks like we are going to be moving
- 41:52Speaker 17: very very quickly towards a deal, and you're seeing the
- 41:55Speaker 17: Europeans actually fall in line with the rhetoric to align
- 41:59Speaker 17: with Trump. You're going to see a lot of that
- 42:01Speaker 17: with the Munich security conference happening, You're going to see
- 42:03Speaker 17: a lot of their rhetoric, in fact, start to mirror
- 42:06Speaker 17: an echo where Trump is saying. What he's basically saying is, guys,
- 42:10Speaker 17: we have to have a deal here. This can't go
- 42:11Speaker 17: on forever.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Russia.
- 42:13Speaker 17: You're not gonna take Kiev and Ukraine. You're not going
- 42:17Speaker 17: to take back don Vassi Krim. Yet that's the deal,
- 42:20Speaker 17: and that's the deal's going to be made, I think,
- 42:22Speaker 17: and I think hopefully also throwing I think it's important
- 42:24Speaker 17: for us not to to Ukraine in NATO. I've been
- 42:27Speaker 17: against that from the beginning. I'm still against them now
- 42:29Speaker 17: and I think so was Trump. And I think the
- 42:32Speaker 17: sad part of this is that we all knew this
- 42:35Speaker 17: is where it was going years ago, yet it's still
- 42:38Speaker 17: Ukraine had to, you know, to expand blood and treasure
- 42:42Speaker 17: to essentially be at the same place where it would
- 42:44Speaker 17: have been three years ago. I think also what has
- 42:48Speaker 17: been talked about, and I think it is great, is
- 42:50Speaker 17: Trump is saying, look, we have been funding Ukraine for years, rightly,
- 42:54Speaker 17: so at the same time.
- 42:56Speaker 4: Hey, Europe, you have to pay him up more money.
- 42:59Speaker 17: Right You are in their crosshairs, You are in the
- 43:01Speaker 17: same content as Russia. You have a responsibility in the
- 43:04Speaker 17: fact he's gotten to do that. Moreover, I'm also glad
- 43:07Speaker 17: to see they's telling Ukraine this is not cost free,
- 43:11Speaker 17: like we are funding you guys, but essentially we want
- 43:13Speaker 17: to be paid back. I think the idea of us
- 43:16Speaker 17: making a deal for the important mental resources that and
- 43:21Speaker 17: to buy them from Ukraine, I think it's great.
- 43:24Speaker 4: I think it's important.
- 43:25Speaker 17: I think this can't be cost free, and I think
- 43:28Speaker 17: ultimately that's what he is going to look like. And
- 43:30Speaker 17: you know, I don't know if he's to win a
- 43:31Speaker 17: Nobel Peace Prize for this. He didn't last time last
- 43:35Speaker 17: year when he should have when he broke with the
- 43:37Speaker 17: Abraham Accords, which was like low key one of the
- 43:40Speaker 17: greatest foreign policy accomplishments in the last fifty years, didn't
- 43:44Speaker 17: win it for that.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Let's see if they pass him over now for Ukraine deal.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Well, he's also got the deadline for Hamas to release
- 43:54Speaker 2: all the hostages that's fast approaching. Amy President Trump said
- 43:58Speaker 2: he wants them all really by midday Saturday, or all
- 44:02Speaker 2: hell will break loose. What's the latest on that and
- 44:06Speaker 2: are we days away from the ceasefire ending?
- 44:11Speaker 17: Look time will tell Israel was pretty confident that the
- 44:14Speaker 17: ceasefire was actually going to hold. I'm having my doubts,
- 44:19Speaker 17: and so are many Israelis. Yeah, look, I think Camas
- 44:23Speaker 17: has made the decision, and they said, you know, they
- 44:25Speaker 17: gave up the hostages quickly, the first tranche of them
- 44:29Speaker 17: because they were relatively healthy looking. You know, the hostages
- 44:32Speaker 17: were held in different places, were treated differently. I think
- 44:35Speaker 17: this next tranch of hostages hostages, I think one will
- 44:38Speaker 17: see that they were tortured and scarred and starved, and
- 44:42Speaker 17: I think it's not a good look for Camas. You
- 44:43Speaker 17: have Jews looking like their Holocaust survivors. I'm sorry to
- 44:47Speaker 17: say that, but that's what we're looking. That's what we're facing,
- 44:49Speaker 17: and Hamas doesn't want to have that blowback. I think
- 44:53Speaker 17: it's important to note the difference between the rhetoric of
- 44:55Speaker 17: the Trump administration versus what the rhetoric of the Biden
- 44:59Speaker 17: administration has been in the past. Trump is telling Israel,
- 45:03Speaker 17: you do what you got to do. You have free rate,
- 45:05Speaker 17: this is your decision. To make no doubt that if
- 45:08Speaker 17: Biden was president, he would force Israel to keep the
- 45:11Speaker 17: term of the ceasefire, even though comes has violated.
- 45:15Speaker 4: We know this because he's done in the past.
- 45:17Speaker 17: He could jole, and he pushed, and he threatened, and
- 45:19Speaker 17: he embargoed Israel for defending herself. So I think that
- 45:23Speaker 17: Israel finds herself in an enviewable position where it can
- 45:26Speaker 17: make its own foreign policy decisions and decide how it
- 45:29Speaker 17: wants to treat its neighbor in a time of war.
- 45:31Speaker 4: I think Israel's benefiting from that for sure.
- 45:35Speaker 2: And we saw the Jordanian king at the White House
- 45:38Speaker 2: earlier this week. It's clear that President Trump wants those
- 45:43Speaker 2: countries to do more Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon. Perhaps he wants
- 45:49Speaker 2: them to pull their weight and not have the West
- 45:54Speaker 2: carrying the weight of this crisis. How do you see
- 45:58Speaker 2: that progressing? Do you say those countries taking in Palestinian refugees,
- 46:04Speaker 2: resettling them or are they going to continue to refuse
- 46:08Speaker 2: to do that.
- 46:10Speaker 4: No, I don't see them taking them in.
- 46:12Speaker 17: Look, I think they have They know what they've gotten
- 46:15Speaker 17: themselves into when they took it past refugees the first
- 46:17Speaker 17: time around. Palestinians are particularly radical. They've radicalized the population
- 46:22Speaker 17: of the country, the de venters. They've caused tremendous amount
- 46:26Speaker 17: of issues and problems and angst for those countries.
- 46:28Speaker 4: So I don't think they're looking.
- 46:29Speaker 17: To take in more radical Hamas Palestinians into their country.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Look, I think Trump has a certain amount.
- 46:36Speaker 17: Of leverage with them, but I think they're going to
- 46:38Speaker 17: hold a whole truth that I think he has more
- 46:40Speaker 17: leverage to say to the to the air world, Look,
- 46:43Speaker 17: you guys have the finance reconstruction of Gaza, that that
- 46:47Speaker 17: shouldn't be on the shoulders of the United States and Europe,
- 46:51Speaker 17: that really, this is your region, your area.
- 46:54Speaker 4: You need to shold that loads.
- 46:57Speaker 17: But I think ultimately, look, I think the Palestinians are
- 46:59Speaker 17: going to remember this were this campaign for generations. I
- 47:04Speaker 17: think they hopefully have come to the realization that when
- 47:07Speaker 17: you spill Jewish blood there are real prices and consequences
- 47:11Speaker 17: for those actions, and hopefully we'll have a better and
- 47:13Speaker 17: more stable Middle East because of it.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I fear that lesson is not going to be learned.
- 47:20Speaker 2: But I think the normalization of relationships in the Middle
- 47:24Speaker 2: East to Saudi Arabia and Israel, for example, if that
- 47:28Speaker 2: comes in the next few months or even in Trump's
- 47:31Speaker 2: second term, that will have an enormous difference because It
- 47:35Speaker 2: just shifts the entire understanding of how that region works.
- 47:40Speaker 2: For so long, we're told that until the Palestinians have statehood,
- 47:45Speaker 2: you can never have relationships normalized in that region, and
- 47:49Speaker 2: Trump with the Abraham Accords show that that was a fallacy.
- 47:53Speaker 2: So it's going to be fascinating to observe. Just before
- 47:55Speaker 2: you go, I want to ask you about the World
- 47:58Speaker 2: Health Organization TRUMPSA, We're drawn from it Argentina. Argentina is
- 48:04Speaker 2: set to follow and the whod chief is now panicking,
- 48:07Speaker 2: is pleading with other countries to help get the US
- 48:11Speaker 2: to reconsider. How do you say this resolving? Are we
- 48:15Speaker 2: going to see the World Health Organization reformed or just
- 48:19Speaker 2: more countries leaving?
- 48:22Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I'm sorry, Worth, World Health Organization.
- 48:26Speaker 17: Maybe you shouldn't have partnered with with China in hiding
- 48:30Speaker 17: the coronavirus. Maybe you would have a little more credibility
- 48:34Speaker 17: in the world stage, and particularly the United States. Are
- 48:36Speaker 17: they going to reform themselves? That's not the DNA of
- 48:39Speaker 17: the United Nations and its organizations. Reform is not what
- 48:42Speaker 17: they do. Look Argentina, love it. Bila my spirit animal.
- 48:47Speaker 17: Following the Trump's lead, I'm all down for it. I
- 48:50Speaker 17: hope more country will follow suit. There has to be
- 48:52Speaker 17: a price to pay for these organizations. They can't simply
- 48:56Speaker 17: continue doing the same actions that are harming the United States,
- 49:00Speaker 17: harming the world, and continue to say we're going to
- 49:02Speaker 17: get more money from you. It doesn't work that we
- 49:05Speaker 17: have to use the leverage we do. The leverage we
- 49:06Speaker 17: have is economic. I'm glad we're doing it. Hopefully we'll
- 49:08Speaker 17: make a change.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Amy Horowitz, thank you so much for your time, and
- 49:14Speaker 2: that's it from me. Up next is Newsnight, but don't
- 49:17Speaker 2: forget Left is losing it Tomorrow night at nine
