0:53
SPEAKER_01: What are you drinking?
0:55
SPEAKER_03: My go, one of my go-to summer drinks.
0:58
SPEAKER_03: Pineapple juice and Malibu.
1:00
SPEAKER_01: Nice.
1:01
SPEAKER_03: Malibu.
1:02
SPEAKER_03: Listen together.
1:04
SPEAKER_03: Malibu.
1:05
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
1:06
SPEAKER_01: I'm drinking Estella.
1:10
SPEAKER_01: Stella.
1:11
SPEAKER_01: Stella.
1:13
SPEAKER_01: Is it just me?
1:14
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
1:15
SPEAKER_01: Or okay.
1:16
SPEAKER_01: Have the have the bottles gotten like skinnier?
1:20
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
1:22
SPEAKER_03: I don't think.
1:22
SPEAKER_01: I feel like they're like a tad bit skinnier, so like you get like just a little bit less beer for the same amount of money.
1:31
SPEAKER_01: Or is it that I drink too much and I know that?
1:35
SPEAKER_01: Or am I just crazy?
1:37
SPEAKER_01: I mean, really, it could be any of those.
1:38
SPEAKER_03: Can it be all three?
1:40
SPEAKER_01: It could very well be all three.
1:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, actually, no.
1:43
SPEAKER_01: Well, because it's either it's either it's skinnier or I'm crazy.
1:47
SPEAKER_01: Because if if I'm not crazy, crazy and it could be skinnier.
1:51
SPEAKER_03: It could be all three.
1:53
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
1:54
SPEAKER_03: It could be.
1:55
SPEAKER_01: And the fact that I'm not gonna argue.
1:57
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna argue.
2:01
SPEAKER_01: Preliminary thoughts on the episode left behind.
2:04
SPEAKER_03: Went back to what the fuck.
2:08
SPEAKER_03: I was like, I hate you.
2:09
SPEAKER_01: It's not you, but I hate the show.
2:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's not a great episode.
2:12
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you left me going right back to what the fuck, and I hate you the show.
2:16
SPEAKER_03: Not you, Lisa.
2:17
SPEAKER_03: I am like, fuck me.
2:19
SPEAKER_01: Like, uh Yeah, I I'll admit it's it's not a great episode.
2:25
SPEAKER_03: I don't know how they made it past season.
2:27
SPEAKER_03: I don't know how like like the viewers were like die hard viewers that because of their like fuck it, I'm gonna watch because it's lost, wasn't allowed them to make it to season four because this season sucks ass.
2:42
SPEAKER_03: Major ass.
2:44
SPEAKER_01: Uh no comment.
2:45
SPEAKER_01: Flashbacks.
2:47
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
2:48
SPEAKER_03: All right.
2:53
SPEAKER_01: In flashback, Kate is stranded in Iowa with a broken fan belt.
2:58
SPEAKER_01: She introduces herself as Lucy to a tow truck driver as he takes her car to town.
3:05
SPEAKER_01: At the repair station, she sees Cassidy trying to pull the jewelry con that Sawyer taught her.
3:11
SPEAKER_01: When Cassidy's mark threatens to call the cops, Kate intervenes and covers for Cassidy.
3:16
SPEAKER_01: She said, My daddy used to work at a jewelry store.
3:19
SPEAKER_01: I could spot a fake.
3:20
SPEAKER_01: That's not really what she said, but that's what she said.
3:26
SPEAKER_01: After the man leaves, Cassidy thanks Kate for her help, and Cassidy says that she'd like to know why she helped her and why she would go through such trouble to avoid police attention.
3:39
SPEAKER_01: Noting that Kate is clearly stranded, she offers her a ride into town for a drink.
3:44
SPEAKER_01: She said, I'll give you a ride, you buy me a drink.
3:47
SPEAKER_01: What's with the accents?
3:49
SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but that's what she said.
3:50
SPEAKER_01: You had too many, you had too many bands in there.
3:53
SPEAKER_01: I think I have more too much drink and not enough food.
3:57
SPEAKER_03: A lot of pre-gaming happening over here.
4:00
SPEAKER_00: Let's see if we can get through this.
4:02
SPEAKER_03: Good luck.
4:03
SPEAKER_03: Sorry, viewers.
4:04
SPEAKER_03: I'm apologizing now.
4:06
SPEAKER_03: Listeners.
4:07
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, listeners.
4:08
SPEAKER_03: That's the viewers, right?
4:13
SPEAKER_01: At a bar, Kate and Cassidy discussed conning.
4:18
SPEAKER_01: Kate says she uses Lucy because it was the name of a saint.
4:22
SPEAKER_01: She admits to killing her stepfather Wayne because he was a bad guy who beat her mother, and says she has escaped from the marshal after being initially caught.
4:32
SPEAKER_01: Like you just met this lady five minutes ago, and now you're telling her your whole life story and how you're wanted.
4:40
SPEAKER_01: I mean, we know Cassidy's okay, but like Kate, what the fuck?
4:45
SPEAKER_03: I but okay, so and to be fair, at this point of the flashback, it happened like a month ago.
4:53
SPEAKER_03: The situation just happened.
4:54
SPEAKER_03: Right.
4:55
SPEAKER_03: So she's not exactly the she's not exactly a skilled fugitive.
5:00
SPEAKER_01: I would I would think that I would think that it was it would be even more like fresh in her mind to just especially that she's in Iowa.
5:12
SPEAKER_01: She's she's not in Australia letting her guard down.
5:14
SPEAKER_01: She's in Iowa, where it happened.
5:18
SPEAKER_01: And you're just like, hey, so I'm wanted because I killed a dude.
5:22
SPEAKER_01: Nice to meet you.
5:24
SPEAKER_01: Like my name is Kate, and I'm a killer.
5:27
SPEAKER_01: I mean, my name is Lucy and I'm a k killer.
5:29
SPEAKER_01: But you what do you think?
5:30
SPEAKER_01: Like you could tell them that you killed somebody, but don't tell them your real name, Kate.
5:35
SPEAKER_01: That reminds that really do it.
5:37
SPEAKER_03: But that reminds me, like when I'm driving, and people are like at like at the speed limit, but I'm watching them, I'm stuck behind them, but they don't stop at stop signs and they do other stupid shit.
5:49
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, right.
5:52
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, well, okay.
5:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
5:57
SPEAKER_01: She tells Cassidy she's in Iowa because she wants to talk to her mother.
6:01
SPEAKER_01: Cassidy offers to help her get to her mother because she knows what it's like to be betrayed.
6:06
SPEAKER_01: She fell in love with the wrong guy and gave him her life savings.
6:10
SPEAKER_01: She says he was a bad guy, and that at least one of us deserves something good.
6:16
SPEAKER_01: And we all know who that bad guy is.
6:19
SPEAKER_03: I also thought that that was kind of funny.
6:22
SPEAKER_01: Why'd you have to do that?
6:23
SPEAKER_03: How they just I like just like Kate, a month after she killed her stepfather, ends up with Sawyer's ex-con girlfriend baby mama, and then X amount of time in the future they end up hooking up.
6:40
SPEAKER_01: And also the fact that remember when he was in the hatch, like dying, and she was nursing him back to health?
6:48
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
6:48
SPEAKER_01: And she says how he reminds her of Wayne.
6:53
SPEAKER_02: Wayne.
6:55
SPEAKER_01: Her stepfather.
6:57
SPEAKER_01: Remember, she's talking to him, and then he's like, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
7:00
SPEAKER_01: And she thinks that he's asleep, and then he's like, Well, who the hell is Wayne?
7:04
SPEAKER_03: Oh, right.
7:04
SPEAKER_03: I forgot about that.
7:05
SPEAKER_03: How do you remember?
7:06
SPEAKER_01: So they talk because it just it reminded me of it, like how, just like you said, it's funny because Cassidy is Sawyer's past, right?
7:14
SPEAKER_01: And Wayne is Sawyer's is is Kate's past.
7:19
SPEAKER_01: And then I think that's unfair.
7:22
SPEAKER_03: I think it's so unfair because she he's nothing like Wayne.
7:26
SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
7:27
SPEAKER_03: I'm not saying that he is.
7:28
SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
7:28
SPEAKER_03: I said her assessment of him wasn't fair at the time.
7:32
SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
7:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that wasn't fair.
7:34
SPEAKER_01: But the fact that he or she is talking with Cassidy about the bad guy, that they they both have their bad guys, and then Satan Satan.
7:48
SPEAKER_01: Kate and so what the fuck is that's it there now, Satan.
7:54
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
7:55
SPEAKER_01: Saint comes together, they have fun in the cages, so like they they get it on too.
8:04
SPEAKER_01: And and she says that he reminds her of Wayne.
8:09
SPEAKER_03: It's it's like a circle, one big crazy weird circle's first circle that I have just drawn right now.
8:17
SPEAKER_01: A little sick.
8:18
SPEAKER_01: I flew with it with the help of my friend Stella here.
8:21
SPEAKER_03: That you I was kind of safe.
8:24
SPEAKER_01: Sate is fate.
8:54
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
8:55
SPEAKER_01: Well, I was cold before, and I put the sweater on, and I'm sorry.
9:00
SPEAKER_03: Now you're hot, maybe because the alcohol is trying to kick it in.
9:04
SPEAKER_01: I think I think so.
9:06
SPEAKER_01: It's really cold and windy here, and so like I was cold before, but now I'm in the room, so maybe that's why.
9:14
SPEAKER_03: Yesterday it started off nice, it was sunny, and then it flurried, and then it hailed.
9:20
SPEAKER_03: It hailed here too, and then we have fluffy snow, and then it went back to sun, then what's sunny?
9:26
SPEAKER_03: So we had like four seasons in a matter of two hours.
9:30
SPEAKER_01: We had pretty much the same thing, but no snow.
9:35
SPEAKER_01: Some hail, a lot of rain, and sun intermittent.
9:41
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, crazy.
9:42
SPEAKER_03: So this is now the 16th month of 2020.
9:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, feels like it.
9:48
SPEAKER_01: Quote unquote, Kate approaches her mother's house and knocks on the door.
9:52
SPEAKER_01: Diane answers, and Edward Mars and his men jump out with guns pointed, addressing her as Austin.
9:59
SPEAKER_01: The woman is actually Cassidy.
10:03
SPEAKER_01: I roll here, who is in disguise and just selling Bibles.
10:08
SPEAKER_01: Kate watches through binoculars from a car down the street.
10:12
SPEAKER_01: Later, Cassid joins Kate in a motel room after having been questioned for half an hour.
10:19
SPEAKER_01: She tells Kate that she can tell she must have done something bad to that marshal to make him so obsessed about catching her.
10:27
SPEAKER_01: Cassid says that if she's gonna lie to the FBI, she wants to know more about what Kate did.
10:32
SPEAKER_01: Kate confesses that she killed Wayne by blowing up his house, but took out an insurance policy on it beforehand, which financially would have set up her mother for life.
10:43
SPEAKER_01: Kate says she wants to know why her mother turned her in after Kate had tried to protect and help her.
10:49
SPEAKER_03: The only time where the hope mother you could blame the mother legitimately.
10:55
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's fucked up.
10:56
SPEAKER_03: I couldn't, even if she did it for her own benefit, regardless I as a mother, the man beat her.
11:06
SPEAKER_03: The man beat you.
11:08
SPEAKER_01: And then on top of that, no matter what, like you you're gonna you're gonna say, oh, to Kate how you can't help who you love, but then you turn your back on your child, but you chose him, a dead him, who's not even there anymore over your child.
11:26
SPEAKER_03: You could still have family, and you chose to be some people shouldn't be allowed to sh people like her shouldn't be allowed to procreate.
11:35
SPEAKER_01: Her and what was her name, Susan?
11:38
SPEAKER_01: Michael's ex?
11:39
SPEAKER_01: Mike um Walt's mom.
11:41
SPEAKER_03: I don't think she was a horrible mother.
11:43
SPEAKER_03: I think she's manipulative and she did what she did.
11:46
SPEAKER_03: She did what she thought was the right for her kid.
11:48
SPEAKER_03: I don't think she was a horrible mother.
11:50
SPEAKER_03: I think she's a horrible woman and a girlfriend and a wife.
11:53
SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, not her.
11:55
SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, her.
11:58
SPEAKER_01: Well, that's true, I guess.
12:00
SPEAKER_01: And um Boone's mom.
12:03
SPEAKER_01: They could all get together and have like bad mom's club.
12:08
SPEAKER_03: Once again, she was a horrible stepmother, but she was still a good mother to herself.
12:12
SPEAKER_03: I don't care.
12:12
SPEAKER_03: You marry a step.
12:13
SPEAKER_03: No, no, I just you marry a man, but she didn't procreate.
12:18
SPEAKER_03: I mean, the one she was bad with wasn't the one she procreated.
12:22
SPEAKER_01: But still, you accepted that man's child.
12:25
SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying you're wrong, and that's it.
12:28
SPEAKER_01: Like, that's part of the deal.
12:29
SPEAKER_03: And it was the father's money, and you still took the father's money from the daughter.
12:36
SPEAKER_01: From the daughter, it wasn't even yours.
12:38
SPEAKER_03: It wasn't even like a whole different level.
12:40
SPEAKER_03: See, that's a different time.
12:42
SPEAKER_01: I'm not giving it to you because you're not actually my biological child.
12:44
SPEAKER_01: It's well, he was your daddy.
12:46
SPEAKER_01: I'm taking your daddy's money from you, and so you know what?
12:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm a bitching, you can't have it.
12:52
SPEAKER_01: That's that's what she did.
12:54
SPEAKER_03: She should have ended up on the island and dead.
12:57
SPEAKER_03: Me?
12:57
SPEAKER_03: Oh no, why would I do?
13:01
SPEAKER_03: No, she Boone's mother should have ended up on stranded on the island and dead.
13:06
SPEAKER_00: Oh, maybe she'll end up there.
13:07
SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
13:10
SPEAKER_03: Like Locke's father, right?
13:13
SPEAKER_01: Me?
13:14
SPEAKER_01: It's not that out of the question.
13:16
SPEAKER_01: Maybe she'll be in the box.
13:17
SPEAKER_03: But this whole episode was literally what the actual fuck.
13:21
SPEAKER_03: Oh, speaking of which, let's get back to it.
13:24
SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
13:24
SPEAKER_03: Let's get back to the episode.
13:26
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
13:28
SPEAKER_01: Um, Cassidy orders a meal at Keith's diner from Kate's mother Diane.
13:33
SPEAKER_01: She intentionally spills her soup on chili.
13:36
SPEAKER_01: No.
13:41
SPEAKER_01: I was thinking in my head, wasn't she eating chili?
13:46
SPEAKER_01: What was that soup of chili?
13:50
SPEAKER_01: Well, you said left side, now we got chili.
13:52
SPEAKER_01: T Boss is about to make an appearance.
13:55
SPEAKER_01: Stay tuned.
13:56
SPEAKER_01: I support that message.
14:02
SPEAKER_03: This is what our listeners said.
14:04
SPEAKER_03: This is when they skip to next episode.
14:06
SPEAKER_03: This is when they hit skip on their radio.
14:07
SPEAKER_03: Went to somebody else's.
14:10
SPEAKER_03: See, I was giving us the benefit of the doubt, but truth is you're right.
14:13
SPEAKER_03: Somebody else's episode completely.
14:17
SPEAKER_01: Cassidy orders a meal at Keith's diner from Kate's mother, Diane.
14:21
SPEAKER_01: She intentionally spills her soup on Diane, who remains polite and goes to the bathroom to clean up.
14:27
SPEAKER_01: Kate arrives and gets a very cold reception from her mother.
14:31
SPEAKER_01: She asks why she turned her in.
14:34
SPEAKER_01: Diane explains that despite Wayne's abuse, you can't help who you love.
14:40
SPEAKER_01: Kate says she did it for Diane, but Diane says that Kate really did it for herself.
14:46
SPEAKER_01: Diane says she thought Kate might be there to apologize, but Kate states that she's not sorry.
14:52
SPEAKER_01: Diane bluntly tells her daughter that she won't turn her in right now, but she will if she ever sees her again.
14:58
SPEAKER_01: And Kate leaves, she leaves Kate crying in the bathroom.
15:02
SPEAKER_01: Well, actually, she says, if I ever see you again, the first words I'm gonna say is help.
15:06
SPEAKER_03: So So, and this is correct if I'm wrong, because my memory's a little fuzzy.
15:10
SPEAKER_03: This scene happened before the hospital scene, as far as time is concerned.
15:14
SPEAKER_01: Which is which is their way of like explaining why she yelled for help.
15:19
SPEAKER_03: Fucking cunt, bitch.
15:21
SPEAKER_01: And and like not for nothing though, but there's still that question hanging in the air about whether or not Wayne was abusive or molested Kate.
15:36
SPEAKER_03: So we don't know if this even happened.
15:39
SPEAKER_03: So we know what she said.
15:44
SPEAKER_03: There was something else.
15:46
SPEAKER_01: Right.
15:46
SPEAKER_03: It implies that she did it to get him off of her.
15:50
SPEAKER_03: But whatever the reason, I still think regardless of whatever the reason, I don't think she did it because she's a psychopathic little fire starter.
15:58
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely not.
16:00
SPEAKER_03: And my initial gut feeling was that he was abusing her.
16:04
SPEAKER_03: That was my butt yeah, that's just me.
16:08
SPEAKER_01: Well, her mother says you can't help who you love, and I think that that's like a really pertinent part of the episode.
16:19
SPEAKER_01: Like I think that in a way that that's the core of the episode.
16:23
SPEAKER_01: Because you have Diane explaining why why she loved him and basically is choosing him over Kate.
16:35
SPEAKER_01: You have the whole Cassidy Sawyer thing.
16:42
SPEAKER_01: Um, and then also like you have even the on island stuff.
16:48
SPEAKER_01: So with the whole Kate Juliet dynamic, and about how you can't help who you love.
16:55
SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna get more into the whole you can't help who you love on island stuff.
17:01
SPEAKER_01: Like, I guess we'll get into that at the end after we do that.
17:05
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I'm ready, boss.
17:07
SPEAKER_01: Okay, Cassidy drives Kate back to her car.
17:11
SPEAKER_01: Kate thanks her and asks her for the name of the guy who ripped Cassidy off so she can go help Cassidy get her revenge.
17:18
SPEAKER_01: See, could you could you imagine if that would have played out, right?
17:21
SPEAKER_01: Cassidy's like, oh, his name is Sawyer, and Kate goes and fucks up his day, and then they end up on the island together, and Kate would be like, you, you, let's go to the cages and do it.
17:34
SPEAKER_03: Wait, but can you imagine if that was everything she was in Australia to begin with?
17:38
SPEAKER_03: Like, can you imagine so uh uh uh but I was like I just thought that that close call was kind of funny.
17:46
SPEAKER_01: Maybe in like some sideway universe, Kate went and found him.
17:52
SPEAKER_03: Mmm, and they ended up on in a cage anyway.
17:56
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, right, definitely.
17:58
SPEAKER_01: They were not caught in the net, they were caught in a cage.
18:01
SPEAKER_01: She gets caught in the net with Jack, but she gets caught in the cage with Sawyer.
18:09
SPEAKER_01: Cassidy tells Kate she's pregnant with his child, but Kate still advises her to call the cops and get them locked up.
18:16
SPEAKER_01: Cassidy asks if Kate would ever forgive her own mother for calling the cops on her, and Kate admits that she won't.
18:24
SPEAKER_01: The two men thank each other just before parting, and Kate reveals her real name.
18:30
SPEAKER_01: So Kate is the one who told Cassidy to call the cops, and we know that Sawyer ended up going to jail, so Kate could possibly, very possibly be the reason that Sawyer ended up in jail in the first place.
18:45
SPEAKER_03: Maybe, maybe not.
18:47
SPEAKER_03: We don't know.
18:48
SPEAKER_03: It's one of those things that you're like, oh, that's how you end up in jail, and just because of the obvious way it could go, I'm thinking, no, that's not how it happened.
18:57
SPEAKER_03: Because it's just too obvious.
18:59
SPEAKER_03: Because Lost wants to fuck with your head.
19:03
SPEAKER_01: On the island at the barracks.
19:07
SPEAKER_01: Kate is still a captive in the game room at the barracks, handcuffed and nervous.
19:12
SPEAKER_01: She sees someone coming and hides with the pool cue behind the door, preparing to hit them.
19:19
SPEAKER_01: Julia comes in and ducks the attack and flips Kate onto the floor.
19:24
SPEAKER_01: She explains that she was just bringing some food and walks out, leaving the sandwich splattered on the floor.
19:30
SPEAKER_01: Enjoy your sandwich, bitch.
19:33
SPEAKER_01: Well, almost.
19:35
SPEAKER_03: How the fuck does she learn to do that?
19:38
SPEAKER_03: Right?
19:39
SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
19:40
SPEAKER_03: A fertility doctor, my ass.
19:43
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
19:44
SPEAKER_01: Well, maybe she took self-defense.
19:46
SPEAKER_01: Maybe she was like a fertility doctor at an abortion clinic with crazy nut jobs with machine guns, and she needed to protect herself.
19:55
SPEAKER_01: Do some kung fu.
19:57
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
19:58
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
19:59
SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
19:59
SPEAKER_01: Leave me alone.
20:00
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
20:00
SPEAKER_01: Support that message.
20:02
SPEAKER_03: I'm I am subscribing to that plane of thought.
20:05
SPEAKER_01: Kung Fu is an effective weapon against an assault rifle, as we all know.
20:11
SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
20:12
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
20:13
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
20:15
SPEAKER_01: Here comes the hate mail.
20:17
SPEAKER_01: Later, Kate is distracted.
20:19
SPEAKER_01: You know what I have to say about the hate mail?
20:21
SPEAKER_01: Bring it, bitch.
20:22
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yep.
20:24
SPEAKER_03: Suck my ass.
20:28
SPEAKER_01: Later, Kate is distractedly playing with backgammon chips, one light and one dark.
20:35
SPEAKER_01: When Locke fittingly enters the room to say goodbye.
20:38
SPEAKER_01: His right hand is bandaged and his face is bruised.
20:44
SPEAKER_01: How'd he get fucked up?
20:46
SPEAKER_01: He says he's leaving with the others, and Kate can hardly believe it.
20:51
unknown: No.
20:52
SPEAKER_01: She tells Locke that with that whatever the others told him about taking him home, they're lying and asks if they're brainwashing him.
20:59
SPEAKER_01: But if you're brainwashed, you don't know you're brainwashed.
21:02
SPEAKER_01: You don't say, uh, actually, yes, I've been brainwashed.
21:04
SPEAKER_01: Thank you for asking.
21:05
SPEAKER_01: This was a serious what the fuck moment for me.
21:08
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, What?
21:10
SPEAKER_01: Locke's like, didn't tell me that I don't want to go home.
21:12
SPEAKER_01: I blew up the submarine.
21:14
SPEAKER_03: Well, he didn't say that he doesn't want to go home.
21:17
SPEAKER_03: But the whole, like, this whole scene was like, What, what?
21:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
21:21
SPEAKER_01: Locke explains that he doesn't want to go home and tells her Jack is going to have to stay behind as well.
21:27
SPEAKER_01: He says he put in a good word for her, but the others told him what she did back home, and forgiveness isn't one of their strong suits.
21:36
SPEAKER_01: Kay asks about Jack Said and Rousseau, but Locke ignores the question and wishes her good luck.
21:42
SPEAKER_01: He's like, Well, I'm out of here.
21:43
SPEAKER_01: You're a killer.
21:44
SPEAKER_01: And by the way, good luck.
21:48
SPEAKER_03: I wonder if that whole goodbye thing wasn't manipulated from by Ben Henry.
21:58
SPEAKER_03: Ken Benry.
21:59
SPEAKER_03: Bittery.
22:00
unknown: Bittery.
22:03
SPEAKER_01: Manipulated in what way and for what reason?
22:06
SPEAKER_03: I don't know what the reason, but I can see how because like wait, you're going with them.
22:11
SPEAKER_01: Benry told Locke to say goodbye to her and like tell her that stuff.
22:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
22:15
SPEAKER_03: And I feel like some of it was the truth, and that like some was improv and some was the truth, and some was I feel like the whole the whole thing was just like, what the fuck?
22:24
SPEAKER_01: Well we know.
22:25
SPEAKER_01: that lock is pretty easily manipulated he very he really is so i think binry that's his new name is behind that scene all right that's it i think i think i think that's an accurate um accusation like i think that it's it's very very very possible i'm not gonna say if it's true or not but but it's very possible i bit my tongue it hurts what she's putting chips while i can't i got the punishment uh kate asks what happened to him but lock leaves telling her only i'm sorry in the game room flies buzz all over the remains of the sandwich as Kate wakes she grabs a piece of bread off the floor and begins eating it nothing says yummy like a floor sandwich she hears a commotion outside it's the new thing it's deconstructed let's make the gourmet absolutely they were way ahead of the curve right she hears a commotion outside and looks out to see the others donning large hold all backpacks guns and gas masks oh it's like coronavirus came the door opens and a gas canister is thrown into the game room Kate can't escape and collapses unconscious Kate comes to in the jungle and realizes that she is handcuffed to Juliet who is still unconscious she spots a knife in Juliet's pocket and steals it but Juliet wakes up and grabs her wrists when Kate flips open the knife Juliet seems that surprises Kate to find herself there and lets go of her grip.
24:14
SPEAKER_01: Kate attempts to use the knife to pick the lock of her handcuffs but Juliet tells her that the knife was too big for that and unfortunately they are stuck together.
24:24
SPEAKER_01: Kate says she wants to go back to the village to get her friends, assuming that they've also been gassed and that the others have left.
24:33
SPEAKER_01: Juliet says she doesn't know why they would just leave her in the jungle and Kate angrily replies You say they like you didn't lock me in a cage and watch me break rocks all day Kate leads Juliette by following the track made by whoever dumped them in the jungle.
24:50
SPEAKER_01: Even though night is coming and Juliet predicts it's going to rain, Kate insists on continuing back to the village.
24:58
SPEAKER_01: Juliet tells her that they are handcuffed together because Ben likes to play mind games.
25:02
SPEAKER_01: As the thunderstorm starts she tells Kate not to go back for Jack because Kate is the one who ruined Jack's chances of leaving the island Kate punches her and the two start fighting.
25:14
SPEAKER_01: During the struggle during the struggle Kate dislocates Juliet's shoulder and she screams in pain.
25:22
SPEAKER_03: They hear the sound of the monster and run to hide in dense trees as Kate has learned to do in past encounters what the fuck how does Juliet live in this island for about three years been his whole life whatever have you never heard this monster something doesn't sound right right it goes back to either a you're full of shit or b this is actually purgatory and they're part of purgatory cast members okay or C, what if Juliet really never had reason to leave the barracks I feel like maybe I mean don't forget that there's that fence around it so I mean okay granted we saw her in expose in the Pearl so we know that at least on one occasion she's left but for the most part let's say she lives and three there or on the other island across it I just I think she's full of I think it's a you're full of shit or B this is purgatory and the others are part of the purgatory cast members.
26:35
SPEAKER_03: Okay well aside from the whole purgatory thing I'm just trying to play devil's advocate I still stand by my purgatory theory probably that was my those my theories of season one right whether I believe it or not I'm still going with it that's that's fine you're entitled to your opinions no matter how untrue they are if or if oh I'm gonna watch the last season tonight and fuck with the whole show.
27:05
SPEAKER_01: You're gonna watch the last season I told you we could watch an episode and I was gonna I told you what episode and you said no.
27:11
SPEAKER_03: So no now you don't get to I don't want to actually watch another episode I just think it's really funny when you say watch the episode in order like what else are we gonna fucking do of course it's in order um but um I think I've removed the whole thing I watched the whole last season yeah I'm gonna change the password for Hulu and then you can't that's just cruel right oh my god I'll do a free trial oh my god I almost peed myself I laughed so hard oh my god okay sweat off these pounds right now boy let me tell you this is the reason people listen to us how drunk it has a night conversation ten years later it's still the same episode Juliet is shocked and says what the hell uh but Kay covers her mouth as they hide the monster locates them and for a moment intense lights flicker from above on their faces and they hear a mechanical grinding noise the women shield their eyes and then the monster seems to move away maybe the monster is actually the others not really a monster per se so just like the vampire vampire turns into a bat so Benry turns into the smoke monster see I didn't think more I was thinking more mechanical smoke and mirrors kind of bullshit oh not like actually turning into a monster yeah okay I'm not that drunk it's lost I mean isn't it totally possible that like Ben Ring is a new driver one of the others can just turn into like smoke well but the sound but remember there's the there's the smoke monster and then there's like the monster and there's how the trees move and yeah but isn't that the same thing no I thought two different things it's the same thing.
29:12
SPEAKER_01: It's oh I thought just two different monsters although maybe there's a secret dinosaur maybe that's where Jurassic Park was filming I didn't think the smoke made the second maybe Jeff Goldblum is gonna come out of the jungle soon but remember the first season they made the trees the trees move like there's an actual monster and the one that ate the pilot yeah that was a smoke yes it was was it yeah oh never mind I'm going back to I'm going back to sleep now Juliette behaves like she's never encountered it before much to Kate's disbelief Juliet Kate yeah Juliet asks are we safe to which Kate replies you tell me good answer Kate she's so she's so skeptical of Juliet but like she meets Cassidy she's like hi I'm Kate I'm a murderer like come on Kate I think which Kate is okay not about this per se but sometimes you know this I can agree with that you just click with and some people you're like yeah fuck you suck a dick I don't trust you from what I could yeah and this might be one of the situations when your gut instinct just takes over you're like yeah I don't trust you I think with Cassidy I think never mind she she caught her conning and she saved her from conning but I think also there's somebody that just told her like I could try I think it was something that was just innate.
30:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah but I feel but I feel like I'm giving Kate shit because it's funny but but at the same time like shut up Kate Kate met Cassidy doing a con and right away Cassidy is like yeah you just don't want them to call the cops like Kate called out Cassidy called out Kate right away.
31:06
SPEAKER_03: And I can appreciate that I coming from I think I can appreciate the bull I can create like do the bullshit and so and Cassidy was like really up front with her.
31:14
SPEAKER_01: Whereas Kate met Juliet but bullshit putting a bag on her head and telling her to fucking kick rocks you know or rather break rocks and was like well we're gonna kill Sawyer so I mean Juliet's been kind of wishy-washy with them I don't try I've never trusted Juliet but that's what I'm saying like she's she's oh she's helpful oh no but you have to break rocks oh but I'm gonna do this for you oh but I'm gonna point a gun at your head so it's hard to know where Juliet is coming from and if she's actually has good intentions or bad intentions.
31:52
SPEAKER_03: So I can understand Kate's I don't trust her even knowing her backstory like even like as a viewer you think she's just trying to get she's just a person just trying to survive in this situation I still don't trust her.
32:06
SPEAKER_03: I still don't trust her I still think she's manipulative knowing her backstory and you would initially like oh she's just trying no that bitch is that bitch ain't right.
32:16
SPEAKER_01: Yeah the two women spend the night hidden in the trees when they wake up Kate apologizes for Juliet's injury and says she didn't mean to hurt her Juliet tells her not to flatter herself it's the fourth time her shoulder has been dislocated.
32:30
SPEAKER_01: Oh fuck you too bitch I'm sorry she tells Kate to help pop her dislocated shoulder back into place.
32:38
SPEAKER_01: Kate hesitates Kate doesn't want to do it it's it's like somebody's always coming to Kate when they're fucking broken having Kate put them back together.
32:47
SPEAKER_01: Like every time somebody is sick it's like Kate is the one who has to nurse them back to help.
32:52
SPEAKER_03: I like I I I maybe I'm just team I'm always gonna be team Kate regardless other than normal human flaws she's not a bad person.
33:01
SPEAKER_03: No not at all and she puts up a lot of shit that anyone else would got smacked that would lost their motherfucking teeth over.
33:10
SPEAKER_01: Juliet tells her it feels like she has glass under her skin and that it's her fault Juliet is stranded.
33:18
SPEAKER_01: She also tells Kate about the cameras at the Hydra station and how Jack saw her and Sawyer together.
33:25
SPEAKER_03: Kate protesting that Jack only told her not to return to protect her but Juliette says that Jack didn't really want her to come back because she broke his heart ill so I'm an asshole for picking who I wanted now that's that's the vibe I should thought he was gonna die.
33:42
SPEAKER_03: But whatever this whatever the case may be she picked Sawyer Sawyer and her and Sawyer always had a chemistry.
33:51
SPEAKER_03: Her and Jack it was always kind of it was like he made it too hard you know what I mean it shouldn't be like you're fucking stuck on an island what the fuck you're playing hard to get for he made it too difficult.
34:00
SPEAKER_03: Well so now you're gonna make me feel like an asshole because I wanted Sawyer suck a dick fuck you fuck your mama but I think I think that there's two issues with this and then you're manipulating me.
34:17
SPEAKER_03: Number one she very well could have broken Jack's heart he might have but the way she delivered it made him that the bad guy made it seem like she was the bad guy.
34:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah but like Kate definitely has feelings for Jack definitely she does and and she doesn't hold back on like she doesn't physically act on them but it's obvious to Jack and anyone else that Kate is into him.
34:44
SPEAKER_01: So I can see where that could be misconstrued as leading him on.
34:49
SPEAKER_03: Plus I think he makes it too hard to let anyone I listen I agree.
34:54
SPEAKER_03: But even want to be with Jack either but even if he didn't whatever it was she picked who she wanted period in the story.
35:02
SPEAKER_03: Right.
35:02
SPEAKER_01: You know I'm not disagreeing with you.
35:05
SPEAKER_03: And I'm not I'm just but I just I'm just like feeling it out you know and I'm pissed that this other woman with either a either a she actually feels this way b you're manipulating her to feel to be feeling like an asshole like all of it just she's into Jack and she's trying to create that wedge between him and I think it's multifold I think like I said I don't trust you.
35:28
SPEAKER_03: The love triangle is becoming a love square I think the love triang I think she's using that love shape to her advantage to further manipulate Kate.
35:39
SPEAKER_03: I think it's all I think she's using everything in her arsenal and I don't even think she even has feelings for Jack that's just my personal opinion.
35:46
SPEAKER_03: Well and the second thing is that Kate was supposed to die the next morning so she's like well fuck it like this is my only opportunity and like how different is that than like you know when the soldiers went off to world war one and they were like oh come on baby one time before I get shipped whatever the case may be I feel it's all a when I think it's all a game and I don't like and the more I watch Juliet the more I don't like her and watching her backstory even more I'm like I should start trying to understand just wait till next episode when we get more of her backstory we'll see if you we'll see if your mind is changed at all who knows you might like her or you might hate her even more or I might be proving right not that I don't hate her per se I just just think she's up to I just she can't be trusted.
36:42
SPEAKER_03: Now can she not be trusted for good reason?
36:45
SPEAKER_03: Maybe but she still can't be trusted you know she might be a victim of her circumstance but the fact of the matter is the survivors can't trust her.
36:54
SPEAKER_01: Kate obviously hurt by Juliet's statement she grabs Juliet's arm and forcefully puts her shoulder back in place.
37:02
SPEAKER_01: What if Juliet was just saying all that so that she'd be angry enough to fix her arm.
37:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah I thought about that too the women head off again Kate asks if Jack actually said he broke she broke his heart and Juliet replies he didn't have to manipulative okay I'm stop I'm sorry no maybe you need to drink more catch up Kate angrily claims Juliet doesn't know Jack at all but Juliet gives a long list of things she does know about him far more than Kate does I felt I'm sorry I was like when she's rattling off I was like so Kate's the wife and Juliet's the mistress because you know the wife don't know shit.
37:47
SPEAKER_03: And I feel like she only knows but you know what if you look into it all she knew was stats she didn't know yeah no and yeah yeah it's just like Juliet's the mistress and the wife is yeah because the the you get down to it you really don't know shit.
38:02
SPEAKER_01: You don't know shit um they hear the sounds of the monster again and run to the sonic fence falling in mud as they escape.
38:14
SPEAKER_01: Kate stops and refuses to cross remembering what happened to Mikhail.
38:18
SPEAKER_01: Juliet insists that it's currently turned off but Kate doesn't trust her and forces her back.
38:23
SPEAKER_01: Juliet pulls the key to the handcuffs from her own pocket that lying bitch unlocks her manipulative content unlocks herself from Kate and runs through the barrier to a numbered keypad on the pylon.
38:38
SPEAKER_01: She enters a code that includes the numbers 15 16 and 23 shocker and tells Kate she'd better join her.
38:46
SPEAKER_01: Hearing the monster approach Kate dives across the line and Juliet activates the barrier as it arrives crashing through the jungle Juliet stands and faces it.
38:56
SPEAKER_01: Smoke from the monster advances along some of the perimeter of the barrier but stops at the sonic fence as though it were a physical wall.
39:04
SPEAKER_01: It soon draws back into the jungle Kate's face is like you bitch.
39:13
SPEAKER_03: Oh if I could have punched her I would have punched her myself Juliet I really thought Kate was gonna punch her.
39:19
SPEAKER_01: Like I know I've seen this like a while ago but I really thought Kate was gonna hit her here.
39:23
SPEAKER_03: Like it was so called like it would have been like you know what let's go back and fix that.
39:28
SPEAKER_01: Let's just tweak that part you know just add that in Juliette admits she lied about being unaware of the creature saying we don't know what it is but we know that it doesn't like our fences Kate challenges Juliet about having had the key all along Juliette admits she didn't tell her she had a key because she wanted Kate to think they were in it together and didn't want to be left behind again.
39:50
SPEAKER_01: Kate snatches the key from Juliet removes her own cuff and dumps it on the ground as she walked away okay maybe this is a stupid question but the monster like crashes into the fence and then goes back why couldn't he just go over it like it flies like the way Kate and them went over it but why can't the monster just go up another foot?
40:16
SPEAKER_03: Maybe doesn't have the kind of brain cells I don't do do we do not logic I'm just saying like Kate went over it.
40:25
SPEAKER_01: So clearly it doesn't extend like a dome that's a very good point.
40:31
SPEAKER_03: Okay oh my god why not okay like I said maybe doesn't understand like death and logic and I don't I I don't I don't know I don't know they arrive at the barracks and find the place practically deserted Juliet says she'll get Saeed and tells Kate where to find Jack.
40:50
SPEAKER_01: Kate finds him unconscious in the house he's been staying in which has been trashed she wakes him tells him that the others have all left and tearfully tells him how sorry she is since it was apparently her rescue attempt that led to the others leaving to be fair what a good person you that's like me telling you Lisa don't come back for me.
41:11
SPEAKER_03: Like even if I do mean it I can't be mad at you for coming back for me.
41:16
SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
41:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah like what kind of piece of shit we're like okay they won't come back okay and it was Locke who blew up the sub like it wasn't I mean okay in a roundabout way it was her but like it was Locke.
41:28
SPEAKER_03: It wasn't her right but no one ever says to a no one ever says don't come back to me in a person like okay I won't come back for you.
41:36
SPEAKER_01: Have a nice life right like you really can't no one can blame her for coming what else do they have to do anyway right she's like okay well I'll be the rest of my life I'll look at the sand I'll just count the sand right and then you'd be mad at her she didn't come back why don't you come back for me because uh Jack asks if Juliet left Kate tells him they left her behind too they prepare to head back to the beach outside Jack meets Juliet Saeed joins them and says he checked all the houses.
42:08
SPEAKER_01: Said's always like right down to business like they're all like hi hi okay Said's like well I checked all the houses and like okay do you ever go off duty?
42:17
SPEAKER_03: No and that's why I like Saeed I really do like they need they need a Said like to keep them focused on the issue at hand like a whole survivor of Saeed no but you need that Said you need him.
42:31
SPEAKER_01: Yeah he tells the other three that everyone else has gone and has left no tracks it's as though 50 people simply vanished.
42:40
SPEAKER_01: He questions the fact that Juliet is coming with them.
42:43
SPEAKER_01: Jack insists that they allow her to join them, saying they left her behind too at the beach Hurley tells Sawyer that there will be a vote on whether to banish him from the camp tomorrow.
42:56
SPEAKER_01: He suggests that Sawyer make amends to continue being part of the society but Sawyer says I don't do amends.
43:04
SPEAKER_01: Later Sawyer successfully catches a fish but is unable to properly gut it realizing that he would have great difficulty surviving on his own he approaches Hurley to find out how to make amends and change the vote.
43:19
SPEAKER_01: Hurley pokes fun at him for not having learned to gut a fish in all the time they've been on the island and demands an apology for the various names Sawyer has called him Sawyer begrudgingly agrees and they begin work.
43:34
SPEAKER_01: That night Hurley tells Sawyer to go over to Claire and say something nice about Aaron giving him a blanket to give to her Sawyer does so awkwardly making Aaron cry even though his voice used to apparently calm Aaron and Claire is amused, puzzled but appreciative because you know Sawyer doesn't like blankets.
43:56
SPEAKER_01: The next morning Sawyer and Desmond hide with guns waiting for a board to come by when Desmond asks what Sawyer's angle is and why he's suddenly willing to be his hunting buddy Sawyer replies that he has a hearts and minds Sawyer replies that he has hearts and minds to change and wants to give the people something they'll like remarking that money has no value on the island while meat does a boar appears which Later, Sawyer helps roast the boar as part of a feast for the camp.
44:32
SPEAKER_01: He admits to Charlie that he knows about the vote, but Charlie says he knows nothing of it.
44:38
SPEAKER_01: Sawyer then realizes that Hurley conned him into being decent.
44:43
SPEAKER_01: On confrontation, Hurley says that with Kate, Jack, Locke, and Said all gone, people need to be able to look to Sawyer for leadership, and thus he needs to relate to them better if he's going to be their temporary leader.
44:58
SPEAKER_01: Sawyer says he doesn't want to be a leader, but Hurley points out that Jack didn't seem to be to want the role either.
45:05
SPEAKER_01: Hurley tells him that he's done a good job making everyone happy in the camp, and Sawyer seems to accept it, bringing food to Claire, who lets him hold Aaron.
45:15
SPEAKER_01: However, Sun still gives him an angry look and he realizes not everything has been smoothed over.
45:21
SPEAKER_01: Son is like, mm-mm, no, you don't.
45:24
SPEAKER_03: So he's still not getting the Korean vote.
45:27
SPEAKER_01: No.
45:28
SPEAKER_01: Trivia.
45:29
SPEAKER_01: We won't know about Locke's bruises for a few episodes.
45:35
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
45:36
SPEAKER_01: Juliet's right hand is handcuffed to Kate's left, conferring Kate the advantage, as both are right-handed, which would probably explain why Juliet kicked Kate's ass in the barracks, but then Kate kicked her ass in the jungle.
45:50
SPEAKER_01: Or she was just letting Kate kick her ass to manipulate her.
45:54
SPEAKER_03: Okay, that's a lot of what-ifs, but okay.
45:57
SPEAKER_03: I would think that far into the who, one, why, and what.
46:00
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
46:01
SPEAKER_01: When the monster attacks Juliet the second time, three separate puffs of smoke converge before slamming into the sonic fence.
46:10
SPEAKER_03: Fucking bitch.
46:14
SPEAKER_03: That was the three puffs.
46:16
SPEAKER_03: I was cursing her.
46:17
SPEAKER_02: What did you say?
46:18
SPEAKER_01: Oh, fucking bitch.
46:19
SPEAKER_02: Fucking bitch.
46:20
SPEAKER_01: The producers have confirmed that one of the names for the monster is Cerberus, which in mythology had three heads.
46:29
SPEAKER_01: The dog, the three dogs, the head, the dog, the three-headed dog.
46:34
SPEAKER_03: Uh and you know what they did?
46:36
SPEAKER_03: Do you know what Cerberus was?
46:38
SPEAKER_03: He brought them down to Hades.
46:41
SPEAKER_03: That was like the dog.
46:43
SPEAKER_03: Yep.
46:44
SPEAKER_03: Purgatory.
46:45
SPEAKER_01: So definitely purgatory.
46:46
SPEAKER_01: You solved it.
46:48
SPEAKER_03: I just find it, I just find it.
46:53
SPEAKER_01: I really know.
46:55
SPEAKER_01: Alright, so the title of the episode is Left Behind.
47:00
SPEAKER_01: Kate is left behind by her mother.
47:03
SPEAKER_01: Cassidy is left behind by Sawyer.
47:06
SPEAKER_01: Juliet is left behind by the others.
47:08
SPEAKER_01: Jack is left behind by the others.
47:11
SPEAKER_01: And Sawyer thinks he's going to be left out.
47:14
SPEAKER_03: Okay, everyone's just fucked.
47:16
SPEAKER_03: That's a very depressing episode.
47:19
SPEAKER_03: So but he but this back to the dog.
47:23
SPEAKER_03: He keeps, he is the he's like the gatekeeper of hell.
47:27
SPEAKER_03: And of Hades, hell, whatever.
47:31
SPEAKER_03: He keeps the dead from leaving.
47:35
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and this ain't some kind of fucked up.
47:38
SPEAKER_03: It may not be literal purgatory, but this is some kind of fucked up purgatory.
47:41
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, time.
47:43
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, okay.
47:45
SPEAKER_01: I need to be more drunk.
47:47
SPEAKER_01: So in this episode, right, Kate meets Cassidy, who's the mother of Sawyer's then unborn child.
47:57
SPEAKER_01: She helps Kate speak with her mother, but then in the diner, and then in the long con where Cassidy was first introduced, we see Sawyer served by Kate's mother in the same diner.
48:11
SPEAKER_03: Right.
48:14
SPEAKER_03: So you both have it all in Iowa and they never met before now.
48:17
SPEAKER_01: Right?
48:18
SPEAKER_01: I mean, how many people live in Iowa?
48:19
SPEAKER_01: Like six?
48:20
SPEAKER_03: Five.
48:22
SPEAKER_01: Here comes an eight mail.
48:24
SPEAKER_01: Send five people.
48:26
SPEAKER_03: Bring it on.
48:28
SPEAKER_01: And then in the topic of long con.
48:33
SPEAKER_01: Sawyer got long con by Hurley.
48:36
SPEAKER_01: To be decent.
48:37
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he did get kind of fucked.
48:39
SPEAKER_03: I was like, oh, because I was kind of pissed.
48:42
SPEAKER_03: I was like, how dare they vote someone off the island, so to speak?
48:45
SPEAKER_03: Right.
48:47
SPEAKER_03: And then of him of all people.
48:48
SPEAKER_03: Granted, he's not the nicest person, but he's not, he's a okay, okay.
48:53
SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry for the for son.
48:55
SPEAKER_03: That's her young son.
48:57
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, but other than that situation, he's never been maliciously towards.
49:02
unknown: No.
49:02
SPEAKER_03: So like, what the fuck they mean they throw him off the fucking island?
49:06
SPEAKER_03: What the I was like really kind of livid.
49:08
SPEAKER_03: And then I was like, wait, what?
49:10
SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay, that's funny now.
49:14
SPEAKER_03: I have your back sawyer.
49:16
SPEAKER_01: A game of mousetrap can be seen in the room in which Kate is being held.
49:21
SPEAKER_03: Ha ha ironic.
49:24
SPEAKER_03: Uh and I want Loc to know.
49:28
SPEAKER_03: Hi, Terry, that I think they manipulate.
49:31
SPEAKER_03: I think they got I think they forced you to have that conversation with Kate.
49:34
SPEAKER_03: I got your back, Locke.
49:36
SPEAKER_03: Hi, Terry.
49:37
SPEAKER_01: The monster is made of black smoke, but it flashes Juliet with a white light.
49:44
SPEAKER_03: I saw that.
49:45
SPEAKER_03: I've never seen that before.
49:46
SPEAKER_03: Have we ever seen that before with the something like that?
49:49
SPEAKER_01: Remember when I um with Mr.
49:51
SPEAKER_01: Echo?
49:52
SPEAKER_01: But we saw we saw like kind of a little bit of flashes, but then we saw like scenes from Echo's lights.
49:58
SPEAKER_03: So I I didn't really I didn't connect the flashes with the monster per se, connected with the scenes.
50:02
SPEAKER_03: So we okay, on its own.
50:04
SPEAKER_03: Have we ever seen that before?
50:07
SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
50:08
SPEAKER_03: Interesting, very interesting.
50:11
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
50:12
SPEAKER_01: Kay took the alias Lucy, remarking that Lucy was a saint.
50:18
SPEAKER_01: The feast of Saint Lucy falls on December 13, which is the same day on which the events of this island occur.
50:26
SPEAKER_03: That's cute.
50:30
SPEAKER_01: Um what about St.
50:32
SPEAKER_03: Agnes?
50:32
SPEAKER_03: They need to do something for St.
50:33
SPEAKER_03: Agnes.
50:34
SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'll let them know.
50:35
SPEAKER_03: Okay, thank you.
50:38
SPEAKER_03: January 21st is my peace day.
50:41
SPEAKER_03: Just want to throw it out.
50:43
SPEAKER_03: I accept gifts of food.
50:49
SPEAKER_01: In a flashback, Kate works unknowingly with a rival for Sawyer's affections.
50:58
SPEAKER_01: All right, Stella.
51:01
SPEAKER_01: She's looking out the window.
51:02
SPEAKER_01: There must be somebody out there.
51:05
SPEAKER_01: Um fucking animals.
51:13
SPEAKER_01: Okay, the episode flashbacks take the take place before the flashbacks in Born to Run.
51:19
SPEAKER_03: No shit.
51:21
SPEAKER_01: And the episode flashbacks in occur.
51:28
SPEAKER_01: Maybe she has to go to the bathroom.
51:30
SPEAKER_01: In between Soyuz flashbacks in the long con and every man for himself.
51:34
SPEAKER_01: Okay, Cassidy says if the marshal ever gets his hands on Kate, it will be him or her.
51:40
SPEAKER_01: As it turns out, it was the Marshall.
51:43
SPEAKER_03: But it had nothing to do with her, though.
51:45
SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, because she actually tried to help.
51:48
SPEAKER_03: Right.
51:48
SPEAKER_03: So it wasn't like she did, it wasn't, you know, it was it caused by her.
51:53
unknown: Okay.
51:53
SPEAKER_01: So, but that's about it anyway.
51:55
SPEAKER_01: So, all in all, that'll do it for this episode.
52:01
SPEAKER_01: And next week's episode is One of Us, which focuses on Juliet.
52:08
SPEAKER_01: Anything else before we sign off?
