Choosing Love Today: 1 & 2 Thessalonians - Episode 5: "Mind Your Own Business"
There are four little words in the Bible that when they're directed at you, you might get offended, angry or they simply might make you laugh when you hear them. Believe it or not, that's pretty much exactly what Paul tells the Thessalonians in 1 Thess. 4:11 - “Mind your own business.”
Paul encourages them to make it their ambition to live a quiet life, to mind their own business, and to work with their hands. He says living this way will help them earn the respect of people outside the church and keep them from being dependent on others.
