- 0:26SPEAKER_01: That's that's the actual passport.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: I got uh some there's like notifications that they'll send you as far as um we're sending you back your birth certificate.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: So I thought, okay, I'm getting my birth certificate back.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: No big deal.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Because they do take it once you apply.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: And then they and I it was the original, the one that looks brown and flimsy.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: And you're like, how is this hanging on?
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Somebody's got these gloves on in the office where they process it, like whoa.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: And here I am just manhandling it.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Turin.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Turin, turn, turn, turn, turn, turn.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: So I got my I ended up in the mail thinking, oh, this is the birth certificate.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: No, I got my passport in a couple of years.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: That's unheard of.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: I thought there was like months-long delay for those.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Usually it's like an eight-week process, eight to twelve.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: You got lucky.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: So lucky.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Do you know how easy that's gonna make it for when you get ready to go to the airport for New Orleans?
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: You just take that with you, they're gonna be like, okay, so yeah.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, they might still give you a pant down, but that's a good time.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Every single time I go to the airport, just because I travel pretty frequently, I know what to do, what not to do.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: I never ever the only thing You don't yell uh hi to your friend Jack.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: That's walking through the airport.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: The only thing that's held me up once, because I like to always have some makeup on standby, is the mascara.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: The makeup always gets the guys who are looking at your bag.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: They're like, what's this?
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Is that a battery?
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: No, it's a lipstick you think, don't you?
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And then Merle said, uh, yeah, you can make up to if you're single, you can make up to 150K.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't that be a pipe dream?
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Uh right.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm well under that.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: I qualified for the check.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Now I have this little situation going on in our house that I feel so bad for this little cat.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: You know, you get your neighborhood cats, and usually it's like, oh, dang neighborhood neighborhood cat.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Well, there's this one that has found its place at the house.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: And I don't know why.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: First it started, it was on our porch, and then we shoot it uh away enough times that it started to like huddle underneath this bush.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: And then I've got this little casket thing in the yard because Halloween.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: You're not pre-planning for junior?
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: No.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: No.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: And it started to hide under there.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: It's really cute, looks really sweet.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: And just the other day, this mouse or not mouse squirrel almost jumped on its head and it barely moved.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: And I said to Zach, I think it's because it's not eating anything.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: And I don't like cats.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: I will not let it.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: This would solve your mouse problem.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: I no, I will not let it in the house because I'm afraid of two things fleas, and I don't want my dog to get fleas.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: And the second thing is I don't want my furniture to be scratched.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: I don't like cats.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: I've never been a cat person.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: But should I feed the cat?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: If you do, it knows how to talk to its other cat friends and you're gonna get more.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: That's what I've heard.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm afraid of.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: I want to know why the connection to your house, though.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Because the previous owner didn't have cats, did she?
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: No.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: And I don't know if it's because this cat was in the neighborhood and saw how well Junior is taken care of.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: We literally pick him up and put him in the yard.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: He's held like a dainty little baby child.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Has Junior seen the cat yet?
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: And Junior's barked at the cat and it's fine, and like nothing ever happens.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: They don't even do anything, they just kind of like coexist together.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: I wonder if the cat's hanging out knowing there's a the that there have been a mouse or two that made it in.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Like he's thinking, like, I'll do I'll deal with this from the outside.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Dinner.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Listen, all I can tell you is what I've heard, which is if you feed it, one, the worst that can happen, it's never leaving.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So, okay, that's number one.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: I don't need this.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Number two is I'm pretty sure they know how to communicate with their other cat friends.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Next thing you know, you could get uh a bunch of 19 cats.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: It could.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Also, if I do this, should I call the SPCA or like what's the other one?
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Animal control?
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: There's another rescue close to here.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Um oh, Shimon County one or whatever?
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: It's like uh for a friend of mine used to foster for them.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: I can't think of their name.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Pets and purrs and pal pals.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: That sounds right.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Pets and purrs and pals.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Should I call them?
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: I just don't know.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Should I call somebody and say, come get this cat because it's really cute?
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: But I'm feeling like a sucker.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Well, you're gonna feel worse if you give a bowl of food, and then all of a sudden in two weeks we're at like minus 50 degrees, and the cat's just like, see, I just don't know what to do.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: What would you guys do if you were in my situation?
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: The soft part of me goes, yeah, that's what you're thinking.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: The soft part of you is like, I'll feed the cat.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: But I think one of the at the very least, I've heard that means they're staying.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: At the second level to that, is they're calling their friends, it's dinner time.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Don't want that.
