- 0:09Speaker 1: Vie for sure. It's hell no, no, no, no, loon lo.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your House
- 0:18Speaker 1: from Shooter. It's Monday morning, bright Monday morning here in
- 0:21Speaker 1: New York City. Garrett is off today and so we're
- 0:24Speaker 1: going to jump straight into the show. But don't worry, naughties.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We've got a ton of gossip, but a ton of
- 0:28Speaker 1: celebrity news, a ton of exclusive details that we are
- 0:31Speaker 1: going to be breaking right now. To sit back, enjoy yourselves.
- 0:35Speaker 1: And what time is it is? Let me hear you,
- 0:39Speaker 1: it's tea time. That's right. So big story at the
- 0:42Speaker 1: top of the show. Savannah Guffrie is off the Today
- 0:44Speaker 1: Show for the foreseeable future as the search for her
- 0:48Speaker 1: mommy continue. Sir, Savannah will remain off The Today Show
- 0:53Speaker 1: for the foreseeable future as the desperate search for her
- 0:57Speaker 1: mommy Nancy Guthrie stretches Get this into its third week.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Third week. She's eighty four years old. This is so heartbreaking. Now.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I broke this story first a week ago that she
- 1:11Speaker 1: has no return date and she might not even return
- 1:15Speaker 1: at all. Her contract is up soon and this is
- 1:18Speaker 1: going to change her. Friends of hers, insiders have told me,
- 1:21Speaker 1: this changes you, This changes your entire life. And does
- 1:25Speaker 1: Savannah want to go back to the show that potentially
- 1:28Speaker 1: maybe had something to do with her mother's kidnapping, And
- 1:32Speaker 1: so we do not know the motive yet, but Savannah
- 1:35Speaker 1: is obviously a very high profile person, and so this
- 1:39Speaker 1: is something that is really weighing very heavily on her.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Of course, at the moment, her only concern is finding
- 1:45Speaker 1: her mom. Now, people at the show say that any
- 1:49Speaker 1: chatter about contracts or any Creer moves that feels hurtful
- 1:53Speaker 1: and misplaced. However, we should point out that Today's show
- 1:57Speaker 1: is the Crown Jewels of n It makes hundreds of
- 2:02Speaker 1: millions of dollars. It is a business. They do present
- 2:06Speaker 1: it as a family and I think that's true. I
- 2:08Speaker 1: think they're close with one another on the show. However,
- 2:11Speaker 1: at the end of the day, it's not about a
- 2:13Speaker 1: family dynamic. It's about being a business. And the people
- 2:17Speaker 1: in the offices upstairs, not even on the Today Show,
- 2:20Speaker 1: who run the network, they need a safety net, they
- 2:24Speaker 1: need a plan whenever somebody has to take time off
- 2:28Speaker 1: from your business, my business, how does that business continue. Well,
- 2:31Speaker 1: at the moment, they've brought back holders holders there for
- 2:35Speaker 1: the moment, but they are looking for a potential safety
- 2:39Speaker 1: net moving forward. What happens if Savannah is off the
- 2:43Speaker 1: show for six months? What happens? What happens? Fingers crossed?
- 2:47Speaker 1: When we find her mom. Isn't Savannah gonna want to
- 2:50Speaker 1: spend time with Nancy her mom? Of course she is.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna get into the other scenario. That's
- 2:57Speaker 1: way too dark. But Savannah might not be back for months,
- 3:00Speaker 1: if at all. Now there is no return date. Insiders
- 3:05Speaker 1: are telling me no one's pressuring her. Absolutely nobody. The
- 3:09Speaker 1: network stands one hundred percent behind her, telling her to
- 3:13Speaker 1: take all the time she needs to take. Take the time,
- 3:16Speaker 1: be with your family. Her mom vanished from her Tucson
- 3:20Speaker 1: home on January thirty first. January thirty first, that's three
- 3:25Speaker 1: weeks ago. The FBI have released door bell footage of
- 3:29Speaker 1: a massed suspect, but the sheriff has acknowledged that the
- 3:32Speaker 1: investigation could take some significant time. He even said it
- 3:37Speaker 1: could take years. Savannah is not going back to morning
- 3:41Speaker 1: TV while her mom is still missing. I spoke to
- 3:45Speaker 1: a dear friend of hers last night who has been
- 3:47Speaker 1: very very kind about our coverage. We have been so
- 3:50Speaker 1: delicate here. It obviously is the biggest news story of
- 3:53Speaker 1: the moment, maybe thee maybe the decade. This story is massive,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and there's no end to this story yet, and so
- 4:00Speaker 1: we've all got our fingers crossed. So we're all treading
- 4:03Speaker 1: very very gently. We're all being I think, mostly very respectful.
- 4:07Speaker 1: There are few outlets, a few news reports out there
- 4:10Speaker 1: that have made me very very angry. Let's remember an
- 4:12Speaker 1: eighty four year old grandmom is life could hang in
- 4:16Speaker 1: the balance, So be careful what you are reporting. A
- 4:19Speaker 1: lot of stuff that we're here hearing here at Naughty
- 4:21Speaker 1: but Nice, we are not releasing yet. We might never
- 4:24Speaker 1: release it because it's just too personal and it could
- 4:28Speaker 1: potentially jeopardize this investigation. So we're being careful. I gotta say, though,
- 4:32Speaker 1: nobody is covering this story more than NBC News. It
- 4:36Speaker 1: is the lead of the news, It is the leader
- 4:37Speaker 1: of the Today Show. Even with the Olympics on, they're
- 4:40Speaker 1: cutting into the Olympics to give us updates on this story.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So it just goes to show you how big it is.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But as we speak, there are no plans for Savannah
- 4:50Speaker 1: to return. Makes perfect sense if you think about it.
- 4:53Speaker 1: She's not going back to that show while her mom
- 4:56Speaker 1: is still missing. Absolutely not. Now there's even talk about
- 5:00Speaker 1: this awful, horrific, horrific kidnapping could change morning TV forever.
- 5:07Speaker 1: For a long time, I've worked on morning TV. I
- 5:09Speaker 1: had my own show on DH one. I've been a
- 5:11Speaker 1: guest on The Today Show, interviewed by Savannah many many times,
- 5:14Speaker 1: maybe ten twenty thirty times. I've been on that show.
- 5:17Speaker 1: So I understand Morning TV a great deal. What happens
- 5:21Speaker 1: is they want you to invest in them. They want
- 5:23Speaker 1: to become your friends, and one of the ways they
- 5:26Speaker 1: do that is to introduce you to their family, their
- 5:29Speaker 1: real families. Whenever they have a new cast member start,
- 5:32Speaker 1: they always give a little bit of a bio, but
- 5:34Speaker 1: rather than put your work credentials at the top of
- 5:37Speaker 1: the bio, they put your personal contention credentials. You're a
- 5:41Speaker 1: mommy of two, you're happily married, you live in New Jersey,
- 5:44Speaker 1: whatever those details are. And that is how you make
- 5:48Speaker 1: an audience like the show because they like the hosts.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Just three months ago, Savannah was in Tucson filming a
- 5:55Speaker 1: video with her mom at that property. The feelings, I
- 6:00Speaker 1: can't imagine, what is going through her mind. We are
- 6:03Speaker 1: sending you love, Savannah, but I do know that all
- 6:06Speaker 1: those very personal, those very intimate segments with family members
- 6:11Speaker 1: have all been cut, not just from today, but from
- 6:14Speaker 1: all the networks until we figure this one out. A
- 6:17Speaker 1: little bit of good news here. They have brought in
- 6:21Speaker 1: some really powerful high tech tracking devices to try and
- 6:25Speaker 1: find a pacemaker. That's right, so Nancy had a pacemaker,
- 6:30Speaker 1: and this investigation has entered a new high tech phase.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Investigators are now using Bluetooth detective technology in hopes of
- 6:39Speaker 1: locating the missing eighty four year old. The county Sheriff's
- 6:44Speaker 1: helicopter has been flying slowly and methodically in a grid
- 6:48Speaker 1: like pattern over the area where Nancy lives, scanning for
- 6:53Speaker 1: any trace of a Bluetooth enabled device. It's pains taking effort,
- 6:59Speaker 1: it really is. It's very detailed. It is like finding
- 7:02Speaker 1: a needle in the haystack, but they're trying to do
- 7:05Speaker 1: that too. They are making sure a no stone is
- 7:08Speaker 1: left unturned. And then, finally on this story for today,
- 7:12Speaker 1: Savannah has released another video. It is heartbreaking to watch,
- 7:17Speaker 1: but very very important that we see this, that we
- 7:20Speaker 1: talk about this. She shared another emotional video plea addressing
- 7:25Speaker 1: directly directly. Can you imagine I'm not sure I could
- 7:28Speaker 1: do that. She is directly addressing whoever may be holding
- 7:32Speaker 1: her mommy. She said the following quote. I wanted to
- 7:36Speaker 1: say to whoever has her, It's never too late. It's
- 7:41Speaker 1: never too late to do the right thing. Ah. Just heartbreaking.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Now Savannah is insisting that her family still have hope
- 7:53Speaker 1: and still believe in quote the essential goodness of every
- 7:58Speaker 1: human being. Believe that too, I honestly do. I am
- 8:02Speaker 1: an optimist. I always try to find the positive. I
- 8:06Speaker 1: can't imagine my mom been missing for now three weeks,
- 8:10Speaker 1: is going into three weeks and still be in this positive.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I hope whoever sees this message, I hope they find
- 8:18Speaker 1: it within their heart to agree it is never ever
- 8:22Speaker 1: too late to do the right thing. We're not gonna
- 8:25Speaker 1: have a pole question today. It just doesn't feel right.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I was gonna have a question about whether or not
- 8:30Speaker 1: Savannah will ever return to the show, but I think
- 8:32Speaker 1: after going through that story, oh, that's the last thing
- 8:35Speaker 1: we want to do. We just want to send our love,
- 8:37Speaker 1: our love. Okay, moving along. Quite a controversy has exploded.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Sir James Van der Beek has bought a four point
- 8:45Speaker 1: taint million dollar ranch one month before his passing. So
- 8:50Speaker 1: James purchased a Texas ranch for his family. They've been
- 8:53Speaker 1: renting it actually for about a month before his death,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and now inside to say he purchased it. It came
- 9:01Speaker 1: out to me about four point seven six million. That's
- 9:04Speaker 1: a massive amount. Four point seven six million, nearer to
- 9:07Speaker 1: five million than four They've been living in it a
- 9:11Speaker 1: while as he battled his cancer. After his passing, friends
- 9:16Speaker 1: started a go fund Me page that has raised more
- 9:18Speaker 1: than two point five million. And now there's a very
- 9:20Speaker 1: tricky conversation. We're going to try and be very careful
- 9:22Speaker 1: here about donating money to people who are very wealthy.
- 9:27Speaker 1: If you live in a four point seven million dollar house,
- 9:31Speaker 1: do you need a two million go fund Me page?
- 9:34Speaker 1: What is it like when celebrities when people of means,
- 9:38Speaker 1: even when something really tragic happens. And this is not
- 9:41Speaker 1: dismissing the pay and the grief. This is talking now
- 9:44Speaker 1: about money, and that's a difficult thing to talk about,
- 9:47Speaker 1: it isn't it Often when celebrities take to these go
- 9:51Speaker 1: fund me pages, people are reluctant to give money to
- 9:55Speaker 1: people who have so much. Now, obviously this family has
- 9:58Speaker 1: lost so much too, and so people are definitely weighing
- 10:01Speaker 1: that Steven Spielberg. Lots of celebrities have supported this fund raiser. However,
- 10:07Speaker 1: now it has come forward, it's come to lightes that
- 10:09Speaker 1: just before his death, they did purchase an almost five
- 10:13Speaker 1: million dollar mansion in Texas. Now, medical bills are very
- 10:18Speaker 1: very high, so I'm sure they've got a lot of
- 10:20Speaker 1: those to pay also too, just because you own a home,
- 10:25Speaker 1: you buy a home, you might not be able to
- 10:27Speaker 1: buy it out right. There might be a huge mortgage
- 10:30Speaker 1: on it, but nevertheless, that's a major home. I think
- 10:34Speaker 1: a million dollar house is a big deal. This is
- 10:37Speaker 1: a four point seven million dollar house. Do you think
- 10:39Speaker 1: this is a difficult subject? Is are people trying to
- 10:42Speaker 1: make drama hero a mountain out of a mole hill.
- 10:46Speaker 1: We've often talked about these GoFundMe pages and how often
- 10:49Speaker 1: it feels tone death when people of enormous wealth, people
- 10:54Speaker 1: who live a very privileged, a very very very luxurious life,
- 11:00Speaker 1: are on GoFundMe pages, And so I don't know about
- 11:04Speaker 1: this one here. I hope that we can still have
- 11:06Speaker 1: some empathy, some kindness, some real dignity about the passing
- 11:11Speaker 1: of a man way way, way too soon. He wants
- 11:14Speaker 1: his family to be looked after. What do you think? Okay?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Moving along, Mega Markle has shared the first glimpse, I think,
- 11:22Speaker 1: or at least the most revealing glimpse of her daughter's face,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Little Lilbert. We finally get to see Lillibert's face. She
- 11:29Speaker 1: is four years old and Megan took a picture of
- 11:32Speaker 1: her with her dad Forrits Harry to celebrate Valentine's Day.
- 11:35Speaker 1: She shared the photograph. They're smiling or she looks lovely
- 11:38Speaker 1: in a pink dress clutching balloons in her arm. And
- 11:41Speaker 1: the couple who also share six year old Archie, they've
- 11:45Speaker 1: largely kept their children out of the spotlight. In fact,
- 11:47Speaker 1: they've gone much further than that. Harry has been very
- 11:50Speaker 1: vocal about privacy and not involving children on social media.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Now his wife has posted his daughter's face. This is
- 12:00Speaker 1: going to cause a lot of debate. Are these two
- 12:03Speaker 1: being hypocritical or is this their daughter and they can
- 12:06Speaker 1: do what they like. We know that they have very
- 12:08Speaker 1: different opinions about this. Meghan's from the Chris Jenna School
- 12:13Speaker 1: that the kids are part of the brand. The part
- 12:15Speaker 1: of the family. It's her decision as a mom. She
- 12:18Speaker 1: can decide whether or not to show them, absolutely right,
- 12:21Speaker 1: but you can't lecture us about privacy and then do
- 12:24Speaker 1: do something quite different. So I think that's what people
- 12:27Speaker 1: are getting really really stuck on here, not Meghan's decision
- 12:31Speaker 1: or authority or right to show are kids. That's up
- 12:34Speaker 1: to her. She's the parent. They are her children. So
- 12:37Speaker 1: I understand that. What I don't understand is that these
- 12:39Speaker 1: two have been really really aggressive about privacy. In fact,
- 12:43Speaker 1: South Park made fun of them. Remember that famous episode
- 12:46Speaker 1: when they went on a privacy tour, When they toured
- 12:49Speaker 1: the country they in press begging for privacy. This feels
- 12:53Speaker 1: a little bit like that they've been married since twenty eighteen.
- 12:56Speaker 1: We know initially Harry was very much against the children.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Meghan has slowly shown them, hasn't she a little foot here,
- 13:05Speaker 1: a little back of the head there. Now we get
- 13:09Speaker 1: to see Lillibert's face. I think it's the first time
- 13:12Speaker 1: we've actually really seen the four year old. She's absolutely gorgeous.
- 13:16Speaker 1: My inside has tell me Harry has changed his mind
- 13:19Speaker 1: about this. As always, it seems Meghan can convince him
- 13:23Speaker 1: that what she wants to do is the way they
- 13:25Speaker 1: should go, and it appears once again that has happened
- 13:28Speaker 1: to her. He was very reluctant at this. Remember he
- 13:30Speaker 1: grew up in the spotlight, not liking it, blaming the
- 13:33Speaker 1: media for the death of his mother. And now now
- 13:37Speaker 1: Harry has done a real turnaround and now seems to
- 13:41Speaker 1: be supporting this. Let's remember he's in the picture too.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It's not like Meghan did a sneaky picture of their
- 13:46Speaker 1: kids and posted it. Now Harry's in the picture. He's
- 13:48Speaker 1: aware that his wife is taking that picture, and now
- 13:51Speaker 1: it's all over social media. Okay, quickly, before we go
- 13:55Speaker 1: to break, Jessica Elbert has finalized her divorce with cashwar
- 13:59Speaker 1: and of his name. Cash He got a three million
- 14:02Speaker 1: dollar payout, but no spousal support. So they've officially finalized
- 14:07Speaker 1: their divorce after two years of separation. So they've been
- 14:10Speaker 1: separated now for two years. Court documents. I went over
- 14:13Speaker 1: them this morning. Neither of them are going to get
- 14:15Speaker 1: spousal support. However, Jessica is going to pay Cash love
- 14:20Speaker 1: that name three million, three million. She's going to split
- 14:23Speaker 1: it into two one point five million dollar payments. The
- 14:26Speaker 1: couple were married in two thousand and eight after a
- 14:28Speaker 1: meeting on the set of Fantastic four. They share three
- 14:32Speaker 1: children together. They've both moved on now to other relationships.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Insideers say they really co parent quite peacefully. What's interesting
- 14:39Speaker 1: about this number, though, this massive number, is that Jessica's
- 14:44Speaker 1: business is worth allegedly a billion dollars. It seems very
- 14:48Speaker 1: very low. It just goes to show you when you
- 14:51Speaker 1: read about what celebrities are worth, it's never quite as accurate.
- 14:56Speaker 1: If she was worth a billion, he would be getting
- 14:58Speaker 1: a lot more, a lot more than three million. But
- 15:02Speaker 1: I'm glad they've solved this. I'm glad that this has
- 15:05Speaker 1: been put away. I'm glad there's no fighting. I'm glad
- 15:07Speaker 1: they are co parenting, and I'm glad both of them
- 15:10Speaker 1: have found love. They seem really happy. Good for them. Okay,
- 15:14Speaker 1: we're going to take out a quick break and we
- 15:16Speaker 1: will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nicer.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Let's get to the polls that dada. We haven't said
- 15:24Speaker 1: that for a while. So last show, we told you
- 15:26Speaker 1: that Jill'sarron is out of the reboot of the Real
- 15:29Speaker 1: Housewives on E are yet over the Housewives? So Jill
- 15:32Speaker 1: has been fired from the show before it even started.
- 15:35Speaker 1: This show is in trouble already. What he wants is
- 15:38Speaker 1: not what Bravo delivers. These ladies are sloppy, they're messy.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Bravo made a franchise about women attacking other women, tearing
- 15:46Speaker 1: each other down. There's no dignity to the Real Housewives.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Is it fun to watch? Yes, absolutely, But it's not
- 15:51Speaker 1: the type of show that he wants. They don't want
- 15:54Speaker 1: people pulling hair, people getting arrested, people going to jail.
- 15:57Speaker 1: They don't want people spitting at one another, throwing drinks.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's just not behavior that he embraces the way that
- 16:03Speaker 1: Brother does. Bravo love Sloppy. The head of Brother, Andy Cohen,
- 16:08Speaker 1: the real real figurehead, the spokesperson of Brother is Andy Cohen,
- 16:12Speaker 1: a very sloppy individual. He's been very honest about his life,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and so he wants something a little bit different. Are
- 16:18Speaker 1: you over the Housewives? That was our question, and you're
- 16:20Speaker 1: just over them? I think I am. Let's eighty percent
- 16:23Speaker 1: said yes, not into them anymore. There was a minute
- 16:26Speaker 1: when I loved that show, all the franchises. Now I
- 16:29Speaker 1: don't want them anymore. And it seems like you don't either.
- 16:31Speaker 1: There's no poll today, so let's do our nicest of
- 16:34Speaker 1: the day. No, my nicest the day is the super
- 16:37Speaker 1: Bowl bounce. Let me explain so bad Buddy was not
- 16:40Speaker 1: just the headliner at the super Bowl, he was the
- 16:43Speaker 1: real super Bowl winner. Following his performance, the global superstar
- 16:48Speaker 1: moved a massive amount of albums, almost five hundred thousand,
- 16:52Speaker 1: five hundred thousand across physical sales and streaming. His songs
- 16:57Speaker 1: now occupy a significant share of Spotify streaming charts, including
- 17:01Speaker 1: multiple spots in the top five. In the top five
- 17:03Speaker 1: he has four four songs. That kind of surge is
- 17:07Speaker 1: not accidental. That's what happens when a massive global fan
- 17:10Speaker 1: base turns up all at once. Love him or not,
- 17:14Speaker 1: the numbers don't lie. The halftime stage is still the
- 17:17Speaker 1: biggest platform in music, and this year it really did
- 17:21Speaker 1: translate into chart dominance. Now, there has been years where
- 17:25Speaker 1: people have had bumps, but not like this. This is
- 17:27Speaker 1: an enormous amount of albums. As somebody whose husband is
- 17:31Speaker 1: in the music business, I know that if you sell
- 17:34Speaker 1: twenty thirty thousand albums, that's really great. God are the
- 17:38Speaker 1: days when people would sell millions and millions of albums
- 17:40Speaker 1: if you're not Taylor Swift, if you're not Beyonce, if
- 17:42Speaker 1: you're not Adele, it just doesn't happen anymore. In fact,
- 17:44Speaker 1: you can get into the top ten of the album charts.
- 17:47Speaker 1: With just twenty thousand albums, he sold half a million
- 17:51Speaker 1: in one week. Wow, and let's do our naughty is
- 17:55Speaker 1: the day? Naughty naughty? Maybe our nicest too. Travis Kelcey
- 17:59Speaker 1: has a little think at Taylor Swift's very very naughty
- 18:02Speaker 1: raunch lyrics and a cheeky Valentine's Day card, So he
- 18:06Speaker 1: had a little fun on Valentine's Day and he knows
- 18:08Speaker 1: exactly what he's doing. On the Instagram page for his podcast,
- 18:12Speaker 1: The Kansas City Chief Star shared a serious a themed
- 18:17Speaker 1: Valentine's cards, including one that read, would you be My Valentine?
- 18:22Speaker 1: But it's not would, It's wood. It's a cheeky dot
- 18:28Speaker 1: to Taylor Swift's track would from her album The Life
- 18:32Speaker 1: of the Show Girl. The song is packed with cheeky
- 18:36Speaker 1: double on dentres and he is just so naughty. Obviously
- 18:40Speaker 1: she's talking about his private parts here and he is
- 18:45Speaker 1: enjoying it too. These two make Me smile. Lovers in
- 18:47Speaker 1: the Air and apparently so are inside jokes. Let's end
- 18:51Speaker 1: with a moment of rub. You're gonna rob you, Robbie
- 18:53Speaker 1: and Rob. Brave enough to be bad at something new.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Every expert was once awkward, every pro once unsure. Every
- 19:01Speaker 1: confident person you admire once felt exactly as you feel now, uncomfortable, clumsy,
- 19:07Speaker 1: maybe even exposed. Being bad at something new is not
- 19:11Speaker 1: a failure. It's proof that you're stretching. It's evidence that
- 19:15Speaker 1: you're growing beyond what's familiar. So stop waiting to be ready.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Ready comes from doing. Let me say that again. Ready
- 19:23Speaker 1: comes from doing, not waiting. Skills come from repetition. Confidence
- 19:27Speaker 1: comes from surviving the cringe. Let yourself be a beginner.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Laugh at your mistakes. You're gonna make them, but learn
- 19:33Speaker 1: from them too. Grove lives on the other side of embarrassment.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Be brave enough to start once again. Be brave enough
- 19:42Speaker 1: to be bad at something new. Try something newer. No,
- 19:45Speaker 1: you're not going to be very good at it at first,
- 19:47Speaker 1: but you will get there if you keep going. Hey,
- 19:50Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
