Over 100 rabbits and 4 Persian cats were rescued from horrific, life-threatening conditions in Niagara County after an anonymous tip — the animals found trapped in a sweltering shed with no water and piles of feces, some already dead, while the cats were matted, infested, and suffering from infections. The owners, Mitchell and Terri Ross, face seven misdemeanor charges each and could be added to the animal abuse registry.
