Yared Nuguse. A name you've heard time and time again over the past few months as he's cemented his name into the history books. It all started in Boston, where Yared ran a new American Record in the 3k, clocking 7:28.24. He followed up that performance by running yet another American Record (and the second fastest time ever) with a 3:47.38 at the Millrose Games Wanamaker Mile. Lastly, Yared flew to Europe, where he won a 1500m against a world-class field. Needless to say, Yared is on fire, and I had to get him back on the podcast.
