- 0:06Speaker 1: The mean coin market and also gold have something in common.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Now we're going to break it all down for you
- 0:10Speaker 1: guys today. It's going to be a fun one. You
- 0:12Speaker 1: don't want to miss it. My name is Paul Barrew.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Welcome back in a tech path. Let's get started. I
- 0:16Speaker 1: do want to think our sponsor, and that is Tangum.
- 0:18Speaker 1: A great place to set up your own self custody.
- 0:21Speaker 1: And if you haven't started self custody and you're this
- 0:24Speaker 1: far into a bull run, what are you doing? Get
- 0:26Speaker 1: over to tangent dot com and begin your self custody
- 0:29Speaker 1: wallet experience. It's very easy. All I have to do
- 0:32Speaker 1: is hit that little get Tangent button. It's going to
- 0:34Speaker 1: get you into a three card set. You can still
- 0:36Speaker 1: get the discount, so go ahead and use our code
- 0:39Speaker 1: get one of the three card sets so you always
- 0:41Speaker 1: have one of those. Or you can pick up the ring,
- 0:43Speaker 1: which is a pretty cool ring in itself. But all
- 0:46Speaker 1: of that is going to start you on getting your
- 0:48Speaker 1: tokens off centralized exchanges and into your own hands. So
- 0:52Speaker 1: check it out just tangum dot com. All right, guys,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I want to go into a phenomenon that has been
- 0:58Speaker 1: happening for really about the last six to eight months.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And we've seen meme coins before. In the previous cycles,
- 1:05Speaker 1: coins like Dosee and of course Pepe were some of
- 1:08Speaker 1: the more consistent projects that were out there. But this
- 1:11Speaker 1: cycle has been a complete new phenomenon that has happened.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And if you look at the twenty twenty four Meme
- 1:17Speaker 1: total growth market, I mean we were talking about an explosion.
- 1:21Speaker 1: As you can see just in the number. This is
- 1:24Speaker 1: in billions right there, one hundred and twenty billion overall
- 1:27Speaker 1: in December, all the way from January coming in and
- 1:30Speaker 1: around twenty bills So point being is that the market
- 1:32Speaker 1: is straight up and a lot of this is done
- 1:35Speaker 1: through culture, but it starts to bring in a lot
- 1:38Speaker 1: of new ideas and how maybe projects are going to
- 1:41Speaker 1: get launched in the future. I want to do a
- 1:42Speaker 1: quick video for you guys that is more of a
- 1:45Speaker 1: recap on a project that was named UFD. Take a look.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I watched the unicorn and puff there goes. That's Jerome
- 1:55Speaker 2: Pole in blue. That's what Jerome Pole is doing because
- 2:00Speaker 2: we know in the long run, it's a bunch of
- 2:02Speaker 2: buck right the whole fed unicorn fart dust? Did I
- 2:06Speaker 2: tell you I started a mean coin called Unicorn fart dust.
- 2:10Speaker 2: This guy is now worth six thousand dollars. I am
- 2:16Speaker 2: absolutely in shock with what is going on right now.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Obviously we have something very big going on. Press refreshed,
- 2:24Speaker 2: we'll get an updated level. Twenty four million dollars. Oh,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I mean you know I'm an older guy, right, I'm
- 2:33Speaker 2: fifty four years old. I've been working down here in
- 2:35Speaker 2: Ron's basement for three years, seven days a week. I'm
- 2:39Speaker 2: just overwhelmed. I'm gonna update this. Wow, an eighty one
- 2:44Speaker 2: million dollar market cap. Guys. Wow, I don't know what
- 2:49Speaker 2: else to say. Okay, I'm a gold and silver guy.
- 2:54Speaker 2: That's what this channel was built on. And I think
- 2:58Speaker 2: I've been proven wrong. Definitely. I don't check that often
- 3:02Speaker 2: because I have high blood pressure, and so I'm gonna
- 3:04Speaker 2: update this. Here. We are one hundred and thirty six
- 3:07Speaker 2: million dollars. Like I said, I didn't sleep much last night.
- 3:11Speaker 2: First night. I didn't know what I was doing right.
- 3:13Speaker 2: This was all just an utter shock. I sold half.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I started out with one point two percent, just a
- 3:19Speaker 2: little over one percent of the coins. But this guy
- 3:23Speaker 2: emails me last night. He's like, you should tell everybody
- 3:26Speaker 2: that you're not gonna sell till you get to a
- 3:28Speaker 2: billion dollar market cap. You're not gonna sell. And I'm
- 3:31Speaker 2: like a billion dollar market cap crazy talk. But then
- 3:35Speaker 2: I thought about it, like I said, like five days ago,
- 3:38Speaker 2: this was nothing. Who's to say?
- 3:42Speaker 1: And you guys maybe have seen it out there if
- 3:44Speaker 1: you're following our channel, you're following a lot of the
- 3:45Speaker 1: memes top projects, and UFD was one that of course
- 3:48Speaker 1: did explode in a very no pun intended in a
- 3:51Speaker 1: very unique way, and of course has really started to
- 3:54Speaker 1: kind of break the break the meme world. So we
- 3:56Speaker 1: wanted to bring Ron in and kind of dive in
- 3:59Speaker 1: a little deeper. So let's welcome in Ron Brands. That
- 4:02Speaker 1: are great to have you on the show.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Man, Hey Paul, thank you, Thank you for having me
- 4:06Speaker 2: and my entire Duster community with you. I like it.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Hey listen, Ron, I've looked at your YouTube channel, and
- 4:14Speaker 1: first of all, I think you're a golden silver guy.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You've been around the markets, you understand economics, you understand
- 4:21Speaker 1: the whole concept of what's going on with the FED,
- 4:24Speaker 1: how it affects markets in general. And then you go
- 4:27Speaker 1: out and do this test with a meme token and
- 4:31Speaker 1: you get surprised, which I think a lot of people
- 4:34Speaker 1: probably will not realize just how much in terms of
- 4:38Speaker 1: a surprise you had. First of all, I know that
- 4:40Speaker 1: it was a bit of a crazy ride for you,
- 4:44Speaker 1: But was there anything that happened in the first couple
- 4:46Speaker 1: of days that really started to shift your thinking about
- 4:50Speaker 1: how this culture is working within crypto and blockchain.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it was the people. It's been shocking from the
- 4:59Speaker 2: very get go, Like from the first day when I
- 5:02Speaker 2: realized the quality of the people that kind of rallied
- 5:07Speaker 2: around this and made it happen, so it just it
- 5:10Speaker 2: blew me away. It made it so that I didn't
- 5:14Speaker 2: want to sell the remaining zero point sixty five percent
- 5:17Speaker 2: of the of the coins that I owned. I mean,
- 5:19Speaker 2: the people, the people made this happen. I just kind
- 5:23Speaker 2: of created it. It was an experiment. It was something
- 5:26Speaker 2: I was interested in. Obviously from following economics, I knew
- 5:29Speaker 2: what was going on with with crypto and mean coins
- 5:32Speaker 2: even you know, like I just did this little creation
- 5:36Speaker 2: experiment and I said, it's unicorn, part dust right, it's crypto,
- 5:39Speaker 2: it's nothing, you know, And then this this group of
- 5:44Speaker 2: people formed around it. And it wasn't just that it
- 5:47Speaker 2: was a group of people. It was that like, almost
- 5:49Speaker 2: immediately I recognized that it was like a really nice, good,
- 5:54Speaker 2: awesome group of people. So yeah, that's the biggest thing
- 5:57Speaker 2: that shocked me definitely.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Well, I think, you know, the the thing that a
- 6:00Speaker 1: lot of people don't understand is what makes the meme
- 6:03Speaker 1: token sector so popular is just like that what you
- 6:07Speaker 1: were talking about is the communities that are built around them,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and in many cases it launches many other components. We'll
- 6:14Speaker 1: talk about that in a minute, because we've seen a
- 6:15Speaker 1: lot of meme projects that have graduated from what was,
- 6:19Speaker 1: you know, a basic non utility meme token to where
- 6:22Speaker 1: they've started to elevate into a lot of other areas.
- 6:25Speaker 1: We'll talk about AI, gaming, all that kind of things,
- 6:27Speaker 1: as well as brand ip. I was looking at the
- 6:31Speaker 1: market cap right here on quin Get Go. This meme
- 6:33Speaker 1: token at one point on December twenty first hit a
- 6:36Speaker 1: two hundred and nine million dollar market cap, dropped down,
- 6:41Speaker 1: came back up, retested about one ninety three on Christmas,
- 6:45Speaker 1: and then of course we've seen it come down and
- 6:47Speaker 1: kind of stabilize around seventy to eighty million in terms
- 6:50Speaker 1: of market cap. So, first of all, how many content
- 6:53Speaker 1: or how many tokenholders do you have right now?
- 6:56Speaker 2: I think it's like thirty four thousand. Remember I'm only
- 6:59Speaker 2: four teen fifteen days under this, but I'm real confident
- 7:03Speaker 2: that it's over thirty thousand, and I believe closer to
- 7:06Speaker 2: thirty four thousand. What we like to call dusters, right,
- 7:09Speaker 2: people that are Unicorn park dusters like our community.
- 7:12Speaker 1: So yes, when you okay, so you've already started to
- 7:15Speaker 1: do some things that kind of connect the community with
- 7:18Speaker 1: what you're trying to achieve. There. When you look at
- 7:21Speaker 1: what you've seen so far in crypto versus what you've
- 7:24Speaker 1: seen over many years in silver and gold, is there
- 7:28Speaker 1: any comparison to the kind of investors communities that are
- 7:32Speaker 1: coalescing around those.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, yep. You know, I was a long time
- 7:36Speaker 2: and still am a lover of silver and gold and
- 7:39Speaker 2: precious metals, and I've always said, you can check my
- 7:42Speaker 2: old videos that the crypto community and the silver and
- 7:47Speaker 2: gold community, they share like ninety nine point six percent
- 7:51Speaker 2: of the same beliefs, like why they're doing what they're doing.
- 7:54Speaker 2: They don't believe in the Fiat money system, They're worried
- 7:58Speaker 2: about the national debt, all that stuff, Yeah, there's there's
- 8:01Speaker 2: massive similarities. There's a segment of of of the maybe
- 8:06Speaker 2: both of the communities that really they just don't agree
- 8:12Speaker 2: on what they do, what action they take, how they
- 8:15Speaker 2: what they do to protect themselves. Right, Like, there are
- 8:17Speaker 2: some diehard gold and silver people are like only gold
- 8:20Speaker 2: and silver period. And I was quite honestly pretty much
- 8:23Speaker 2: in that camp, you know, and I was softening a
- 8:28Speaker 2: bit over the last year or so. And it does
- 8:30Speaker 2: I will say this. Another thing that has surprised me
- 8:33Speaker 2: is the level of interest in the crypto community in
- 8:37Speaker 2: gold and silver that there seems to be a lot
- 8:40Speaker 2: of people in crypto that are that are hearing them. Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 2: good crossover. So some people have said that I can
- 8:47Speaker 2: be a bridge, and I'd say, well, I'm not the bridge.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'll be I can be part of the bridge to
- 8:52Speaker 2: kind of bridge that gap between precious metals, uh in crypto,
- 8:56Speaker 2: and I'll just do what I can. I mean, I do.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I love, you know, I love. This has been just
- 9:02Speaker 2: a crazy good experience for me with Unicorn, fart dust
- 9:06Speaker 2: and just learning about you know, I learned. I learned
- 9:11Speaker 2: after I created the token that there's only nine hundred
- 9:14Speaker 2: and ninety nine million of them available, and that's all
- 9:16Speaker 2: that will ever be available. So you know, there's no
- 9:20Speaker 2: dilution of Unicorn fart dust. I can't be Jerome pol
- 9:23Speaker 2: and say, hey, you know what, I think I'll make
- 9:25Speaker 2: another one hundred million or anything like that, right, So
- 9:28Speaker 2: I'll get Jerome out for you, Paul, I know you
- 9:30Speaker 2: want to see him. I'll get Jerome out for you
- 9:33Speaker 2: in a second. Sorry.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Well, really, the cool thing I think that a lot
- 9:36Speaker 1: of people don't understand is the ability for a lot
- 9:40Speaker 1: of these meme communities to really start to accelerate. And
- 9:43Speaker 1: this is not only something that's happening here in the
- 9:45Speaker 1: United States. This is a global phenomenon that we've started
- 9:48Speaker 1: to see and I think it's probably going to be
- 9:50Speaker 1: a position where it starts to allow small startup companies
- 9:54Speaker 1: and others, you know, really move into maybe next generation funding.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I was looking at a tweet. You guys had explain
- 10:00Speaker 1: to me what you're doing with the with the Honda.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Well, I'll make it quick. I got. I received an
- 10:06Speaker 2: email Sunday night, and I won't They've asked me not
- 10:10Speaker 2: to disclose who they are, but they're real people. They're
- 10:14Speaker 2: awesome people. Uh, they are here in the United States,
- 10:17Speaker 2: and they were like they you know, I think they
- 10:19Speaker 2: have a real successful business. They they're part of our
- 10:22Speaker 2: you know, it's not my community, our community, right. I didn't,
- 10:27Speaker 2: I really didn't make this happen. But they were like,
- 10:29Speaker 2: we are going to build the uh when. We haven't
- 10:33Speaker 2: decided on the official name yet, but for now, we'll
- 10:35Speaker 2: call it the Unicorn Fartmobile, which is a Honda fit
- 10:38Speaker 2: that's going to be made up to look like a
- 10:40Speaker 2: unicorn with a big horn on it, an actual physical
- 10:44Speaker 2: horn like a unicorn has. But then the actual horn
- 10:47Speaker 2: instead of going beep beep when I press it, it's
- 10:50Speaker 2: going to let out like the most loud the fart
- 10:53Speaker 2: heard around the world, and maybe bubbles will come out
- 10:56Speaker 2: the back or or you know, like fog they use.
- 10:59Speaker 2: So it's going to be so something that I can
- 11:00Speaker 2: maybe bring to college campuses or bring to elementary schools
- 11:05Speaker 2: because to spread like a message. The community has been
- 11:09Speaker 2: built on goodness, kindness. You know, we have a lot
- 11:13Speaker 2: of fun. I mean, if you want to laugh, go
- 11:15Speaker 2: look at some of the memes these guys come up with.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I've been put in every situation imaginable with AI. So
- 11:21Speaker 2: what i'd like to, you know, my vision for that
- 11:24Speaker 2: is to bring it, like maybe to elementary schools and
- 11:26Speaker 2: talk to kids about don't give up on your dreams,
- 11:28Speaker 2: don't you know in goodness and that and it's just
- 11:32Speaker 2: unbelievable what these people are doing. And the cool thing is, Paul,
- 11:36Speaker 2: that you know, whatever the coin price is right now,
- 11:39Speaker 2: sixth cents, if you want to be a part of
- 11:41Speaker 2: the Duster community, you know, you can spend as little
- 11:44Speaker 2: as six cents and then you can just jump right in.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Get your horn, get your horn. Yeah, sorry, I like it.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Well you First of all, it's good to see such
- 11:53Speaker 1: a you know, a passion for it because I think
- 11:56Speaker 1: that's one of the things that people start to realize,
- 11:59Speaker 1: you know, when they kind of venture into crypto for
- 12:01Speaker 1: the first time, they actually have control for the first
- 12:04Speaker 1: time in their life in many cases, and start to
- 12:07Speaker 1: realize what financial freedom is. So I think this is
- 12:09Speaker 1: a big it's a big step in the right direction
- 12:11Speaker 1: for you. Looking at this chart right here, this was
- 12:14Speaker 1: something that I think a lot of people don't realize,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and that is how people will raise money for projects
- 12:19Speaker 1: and companies and development. Many of the markets that we've
- 12:23Speaker 1: gone through in the past. If you look at this
- 12:25Speaker 1: chart traditional markets, there's kind of been this revenue and
- 12:29Speaker 1: operational history, compliance audits, licenses, you know, institutional investment, multiple
- 12:35Speaker 1: funding rounds. You know, all this is typical if you're
- 12:37Speaker 1: out there trying to raise money right now, and then
- 12:38Speaker 1: this thing called an IPO. But now in the crypto markets,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you get a smart contract deployment, which is what you did.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You get in social capital formation, which is building a community,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and then you generate decentralized trading, which is the platform
- 12:53Speaker 1: where your token can go out, and then bam, you've
- 12:55Speaker 1: got value creation and distribution that starts to basically all
- 13:00Speaker 1: allow projects and communities to build something bigger. First of all,
- 13:04Speaker 1: I know it's brand new, just a couple of weeks
- 13:06Speaker 1: old for you. Have you started to think about some
- 13:10Speaker 1: of the projects and maybe some of the initiatives that
- 13:12Speaker 1: you're going to do in the.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Future, maybe a little bit. I think what I feel
- 13:20Speaker 2: is what you just described, that there's like massive potential
- 13:25Speaker 2: for this. But right now, I mean the way it
- 13:28Speaker 2: feels like to me that like a little baby unicorn
- 13:31Speaker 2: got dropped off at my front door. And right now,
- 13:35Speaker 2: I mean, Paul, I knew nothing about this. I did
- 13:37Speaker 2: not have a crypto wallet sixteen days ago. Okay, so
- 13:40Speaker 2: I'm overwhelmed, and I think the most thing, the most
- 13:44Speaker 2: important thing that I can do right we have a
- 13:47Speaker 2: Twitter page, I do daily live streams, is stay in
- 13:51Speaker 2: my lane. Sure you know, my mind thinks, oh I
- 13:54Speaker 2: could maybe someday I can open a Unicorn fart doest
- 13:57Speaker 2: amusement park and people that own the coin and get
- 14:00Speaker 2: in for free and everybody else. I mean, I mean,
- 14:02Speaker 2: but really, I mean, that's just my brain's always been
- 14:05Speaker 2: that way. I'm a big thinker. What's so important right
- 14:08Speaker 2: now for me and what I owe to this community
- 14:11Speaker 2: that made this happen is to stay in my lane
- 14:15Speaker 2: and keep doing what I'm doing, and be very smart
- 14:18Speaker 2: and strategic about any moves that I make and how
- 14:21Speaker 2: they would impact Unicorn part Desk. Because those people made
- 14:26Speaker 2: this happen. I didn't make this happen. I take full responsibility.
- 14:30Speaker 2: And I've said that from people like why aren't you
- 14:33Speaker 2: making as much gold and silver content. I'm like, because
- 14:35Speaker 2: I had a baby, an unexpected baby, and I'm going
- 14:37Speaker 2: to take care of it, and because I want those
- 14:40Speaker 2: people they need to be treated the way that I
- 14:43Speaker 2: would want to be treated so I you know, look,
- 14:45Speaker 2: I only own point sixty five percent, but to me,
- 14:48Speaker 2: that's my biggest single investment, and not just because of that,
- 14:52Speaker 2: just because you know, people, real people all over the world,
- 14:57Speaker 2: like you said, I'm getting stuff from Japan and South Korea,
- 15:00Speaker 2: Australia are are are are becoming part of this group
- 15:04Speaker 2: and are putting their faith in me that I'll be honest, right,
- 15:07Speaker 2: I'll have integrity and that we'll enjoy some prosperity together.
- 15:11Speaker 2: So for right now, I'm focus on that. Sure, there's
- 15:14Speaker 2: a lot of exciting things, but I want to cultivate
- 15:18Speaker 2: very very very carefully what we have here because there
- 15:21Speaker 2: are so many people. These people are doing incredible things
- 15:26Speaker 2: in terms of the work that they're putting in, and
- 15:30Speaker 2: you know, I think together, right, just focusing on this
- 15:33Speaker 2: you can go real, real far.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And if you look at what we're seeing now, that
- 15:38Speaker 1: is kind of these cross sectional capabilities of where memes
- 15:42Speaker 1: can go. This is a good example for those of
- 15:44Speaker 1: you watching right now. You know you've got the variations
- 15:47Speaker 1: of the themes of most of the tokens that have
- 15:49Speaker 1: been out there. Then the cultural aspect internet memes would
- 15:53Speaker 1: be where I think UFD faults and then the whole
- 15:56Speaker 1: idea around social media trends, et cetera. But the point
- 15:59Speaker 1: is is these Crossford cross verticals, AI, NFT gaming, those
- 16:03Speaker 1: are just some that we're most likely going to see
- 16:05Speaker 1: a lot of meme tokens kind of go to the
- 16:07Speaker 1: next level or go as far as the AI agents,
- 16:11Speaker 1: which is really where you know, meme tokens themselves kind
- 16:13Speaker 1: of begin to take take form. Here's Toshi over on virtuals.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Just to give an example. This is now Remember guys,
- 16:21Speaker 1: this was a meme token out there on base and
- 16:24Speaker 1: now is on virtuals, which is another project around AI,
- 16:28Speaker 1: especially around AI agents, which I think will be a
- 16:31Speaker 1: huge opportunity for even what you guys are doing over
- 16:34Speaker 1: on UFD for sure. So kind of curious, do you
- 16:37Speaker 1: have any solana an you own the token?
- 16:41Speaker 2: Well, I believe I do. You know. I watched a
- 16:45Speaker 2: ten minute YouTube video sixteen days ago about how to
- 16:48Speaker 2: launch a meme coin on pump dot. Fun part of
- 16:52Speaker 2: that was I had to open a wallet, which I'd
- 16:55Speaker 2: never had before. And I'll tell this story one more time.
- 16:57Speaker 2: The YouTube video said you're going to need your wallet,
- 17:00Speaker 2: So I ran upstairs and grabbed my boom or wallet
- 17:03Speaker 2: and came down. I thought, how's this guy? What does
- 17:05Speaker 2: he need my wallet for? But so what did you
- 17:08Speaker 2: ask me? Do I own Solana? Yeah? Sana? And then
- 17:12Speaker 2: and then Paul, the worst part was, which is a
- 17:14Speaker 2: blessing in disguise financially for me, is when I when
- 17:20Speaker 2: I was funding my wallet, I guess you would call it.
- 17:22Speaker 2: The minimum amount that I could do was one hundred
- 17:24Speaker 2: dollars because I'm a very frugal guy. If they'd let
- 17:28Speaker 2: me just do twenty or fifty, I would have done that.
- 17:30Speaker 2: And then once I had I think I bought half
- 17:32Speaker 2: a Soalana if I remember. And then when pumped out
- 17:36Speaker 2: fund said how much do you want to put into
- 17:37Speaker 2: your coin? I was like, I don't know what I'm
- 17:39Speaker 2: ever going to use the Salana thing for again, So
- 17:41Speaker 2: I thought, put it out, forget it. I'm gonna put
- 17:43Speaker 2: it all on the line, baby, And uh, so I
- 17:47Speaker 2: told that. I was talking to a guy last night
- 17:49Speaker 2: who knows the the I think it was through a
- 17:52Speaker 2: thing called moon something that I funded it, and he's like, oh,
- 17:54Speaker 2: I know the guy that owns that, And I said, well,
- 17:56Speaker 2: tell him to raise his minimum deposit. So next time,
- 17:59Speaker 2: you know, so, I tell them it should have been
- 18:01Speaker 2: five hundred dollars or something like that.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Okay, So, Ron, when you look at the comparison of
- 18:08Speaker 1: the new evolution of technology, you look at the gold community,
- 18:13Speaker 1: of the silver community versus what we're doing over here
- 18:16Speaker 1: on the crypto side, on the AI side, GPUs in
- 18:20Speaker 1: a sense are kind of the new culture of value.
- 18:25Speaker 1: For those watching right now, you've probably seen us cover
- 18:29Speaker 1: the idea of GPUs versus the value of what gold.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Because the next evolution, we think when it comes to technology,
- 18:36Speaker 1: especially around blockchain, AI, much of that cloud compute as
- 18:41Speaker 1: well as gaming, all those things are going to require GPUs.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's kind of like gold was in the early days
- 18:47Speaker 1: when it was made into so many things and it
- 18:50Speaker 1: had such a utility. That's what the GPU theme is
- 18:54Speaker 1: that I was getting at, so because I think that's
- 18:56Speaker 1: the thing. As we see more of that, the value
- 18:59Speaker 1: of that is going to be pretty pretty huge. And
- 19:02Speaker 1: if you look at tokenization of gold, this is already
- 19:05Speaker 1: happening now, you know so again blockchain to basically support
- 19:10Speaker 1: tokenized gold. It's already over a billion in terms of
- 19:13Speaker 1: market cap in tokenized gold. This could most likely continue
- 19:18Speaker 1: to climb right here.
- 19:20Speaker 2: How much do.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You think we'll see the gold community accept that kind
- 19:24Speaker 1: of scenario. And we've had Peter Schiff, which is one
- 19:26Speaker 1: of the biggest gold bugs out there on our show
- 19:29Speaker 1: before he's mentioned tokenied gold. What are your thoughts on
- 19:33Speaker 1: tokenised gold?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, tokenies gold, and I want to say silver as well,
- 19:37Speaker 2: right because to me, they're the same category. I think
- 19:41Speaker 2: it and again you can check my videos from a
- 19:43Speaker 2: year ago. What I like to call that asset backed
- 19:47Speaker 2: digital currencies EBDC, and I think it's a great idea
- 19:52Speaker 2: and I think it's a way to get the silver
- 19:54Speaker 2: and gold diehards. There's some people that say I would
- 19:57Speaker 2: never do that if I don't be a common saying
- 19:59Speaker 2: in gold and silver communities, if I don't hold it,
- 20:02Speaker 2: I don't own it, right Like if I don't have
- 20:03Speaker 2: it in my hand, and I liked I would always
- 20:07Speaker 2: say to those people, I would say, well, you know,
- 20:09Speaker 2: you can still stack your silver, you can still hold
- 20:12Speaker 2: your silver and your gold in your hand. But if
- 20:14Speaker 2: there's this other option that is backed by metal and
- 20:18Speaker 2: it's tokenized, and it's regulated and it's audited, and you
- 20:22Speaker 2: know that the gold and silver are there, why wouldn't
- 20:25Speaker 2: you want to do that so that you could go
- 20:27Speaker 2: out to eat or you could do go grocery shopping,
- 20:30Speaker 2: or pay your electric bill and use if you're so
- 20:33Speaker 2: caught up on backing everything. So yeah, I think there's
- 20:35Speaker 2: a great opportunity there. I think is a great and
- 20:37Speaker 2: there's companies that are doing it right. I'm not an
- 20:40Speaker 2: expert in that area, and a bunch of them had
- 20:42Speaker 2: approached me to sponsor my channel back when I was
- 20:45Speaker 2: just mister Gold and Silver, and I never ever got
- 20:48Speaker 2: a real firm grip where I felt like one of
- 20:52Speaker 2: them was one that I wanted to back. Is I
- 20:54Speaker 2: will only back things and only take sponsorships from companies
- 20:58Speaker 2: that I either own stuff or that I do business with.
- 21:02Speaker 2: And I hadn't gotten to a comfort level within yet.
- 21:05Speaker 2: But it's going to come. I think it's I think
- 21:07Speaker 2: it's absolutely going to happen. Yeah, for sure.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Well, if you look at some of the markets that
- 21:11Speaker 1: are out there in terms of yield earning right now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: you've got meld Gold, which is you know, paying a
- 21:17Speaker 1: small amount, same thing with Meld Silver paying like point
- 21:20Speaker 1: four point four to six. Yeah, but if you go
- 21:23Speaker 1: in and do lending pools, and apply this with things
- 21:26Speaker 1: like stable coins. It's a completely different payout here. You know,
- 21:30Speaker 1: we're talking about now like twenty four percent APY or
- 21:33Speaker 1: twenty five percent APY. I'm going to zoom in on
- 21:36Speaker 1: that for you so you can see it. But that's
- 21:38Speaker 1: a good example of what the market could go to.
- 21:41Speaker 1: At some point down the road. Do you think people
- 21:44Speaker 1: in the gold industry would start to understand what's happening
- 21:48Speaker 1: from a digital standpoint and a crypto side of things
- 21:51Speaker 1: to where they would start to adopt it.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I think as as technology evolves and the world evolves,
- 21:59Speaker 2: I mean you can't and that things are becoming more
- 22:01Speaker 2: electronic and if it if a solution comes comes about
- 22:06Speaker 2: that I think is like reliable and would work and regulated. However,
- 22:11Speaker 2: you want to say it reliable that people would be
- 22:14Speaker 2: very very open to it, Yes, I do.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Okay, before I jump over to my fed question, I
- 22:20Speaker 1: want to hit market. I want to hit a coin
- 22:22Speaker 1: market cap here because this is Mudang. This is another
- 22:25Speaker 1: internet meme that popped off here. In this meme cycle,
- 22:30Speaker 1: we saw this of course elevate to around three hundred
- 22:33Speaker 1: million and then its top after it crashed down to
- 22:36Speaker 1: what was around seventy eighty million, which is really where
- 22:39Speaker 1: kind of UFD is right now, and then it popped
- 22:41Speaker 1: up here to its all time high, which was setting
- 22:44Speaker 1: at six hundred and sixty eight million, so not very
- 22:47Speaker 1: far away from your one billion dollar target. Slipping down
- 22:51Speaker 1: kind of retested, and we have yet to really see
- 22:54Speaker 1: what I think is going to be a meme gold rush.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Yet most likely this could happen in twenty twenty five.
- 23:00Speaker 1: What's the likelihood of you hitting a billion dollar market cap?
- 23:04Speaker 1: What do you think it is?
- 23:05Speaker 2: Well, my community has very lofty goals, so I was
- 23:09Speaker 2: going to correct you and say we're going for billions. Yeah,
- 23:11Speaker 2: you know it is. It is where it is right now.
- 23:13Speaker 2: We've only been at this for two weeks, and you know,
- 23:16Speaker 2: we kind of black the way I look at it.
- 23:18Speaker 2: And of course the price is very very important, right,
- 23:21Speaker 2: I mean, no doubt about it. Right. Prosperity for everybody
- 23:25Speaker 2: that buys a coin is what I want to see happen.
- 23:27Speaker 2: I don't have a crystal ball. I'm not giving financial advice,
- 23:30Speaker 2: you know that whole thing, But I don't see any
- 23:33Speaker 2: reason with the unbelievable strength of this community. I think
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'm like the social dominant score over the weekend, these people,
- 23:42Speaker 2: these dusters and my and not my in our community,
- 23:46Speaker 2: we were like ranked ninth and we were on the
- 23:49Speaker 2: same we were on the same same top ten with bitcoin.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I think ethereum uh and I always pray is it
- 23:57Speaker 2: do doja coin? Dojah boys and so so to think
- 24:03Speaker 2: and Paul correct me if I'm wrong. Right, But Unicorn
- 24:07Speaker 2: fart deests has nine hundred and ninety nine million coins
- 24:10Speaker 2: we like to call them beans in our community. But
- 24:12Speaker 2: there's and there's no more that will ever be made.
- 24:15Speaker 2: And if more and more people, I mean, this community
- 24:18Speaker 2: is growing like crazy, continue to buy and hold on.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I mean, you know people are going to sell some whatever, sure,
- 24:24Speaker 2: but that we get to a point where why can't
- 24:27Speaker 2: why can't Unicorn fart Desk be as big as any
- 24:30Speaker 2: other meme coin that's out there? I mean, is there
- 24:32Speaker 2: anything stopping it? Is there anything to me? No?
- 24:35Speaker 1: I mean, you're the right pot, You've got you're in
- 24:37Speaker 1: the right spot, You've got all the ingredients, which is
- 24:40Speaker 1: mostly the meme culture itself, a very rabid, you know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: community which starts to kind of centralize around doze was
- 24:47Speaker 1: this very same way. It had that kind of almost
- 24:50Speaker 1: legendary status. So and it of course is a multi
- 24:53Speaker 1: billion dollar meme token. And of course, hey listen, you
- 24:57Speaker 1: know Elon loves to do things me like this.
- 25:00Speaker 2: So that's what That's what I said that the other day.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It's like, people are like, well, what's a mean coin?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Where's the value in it? And and I've been wrestling
- 25:08Speaker 2: and and and and adjusting my perception of where the
- 25:11Speaker 2: real value is. And and then I thought about him,
- 25:14Speaker 2: like the richest guy in the world is yeah, he
- 25:19Speaker 2: loves period. Yeah, yeah, interesting, somebody is.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I don't know if you know much about Tesla, about
- 25:25Speaker 1: the operations of Tesla, but they have this thing called
- 25:27Speaker 1: Rainbow Road within the Tesla Okay, so when you're yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 1: it's it's called Rainbow Road. And also within the Tesla, uh,
- 25:36Speaker 1: the Tesla cars is they have, you know, within the
- 25:39Speaker 1: toy toy box, the capability of making the car fart.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So I'm telling you this may end up being an
- 25:46Speaker 1: Elon you know, mean, before long, you never know.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I tell you what. I'll tell you what. I have
- 25:52Speaker 2: great admiration for Elon Musk for a long I've never
- 25:56Speaker 2: owned Tesla stock. I've never so I'm not saying that
- 25:59Speaker 2: as an investor, but just what he has accomplished in
- 26:03Speaker 2: his life. And I know, you know, I've heard people
- 26:05Speaker 2: like you know, hate on him, and I'm like, wait
- 26:08Speaker 2: a minute. This guy like was instrumental in PayPal. He
- 26:11Speaker 2: started a car company from nothing and made it into
- 26:14Speaker 2: what it is. He has softly in your rockets, like
- 26:18Speaker 2: if nothing else, this guy's done so much for for
- 26:21Speaker 2: and and he loves memes, so hey, you know, thumbs up.
- 26:23Speaker 2: That's the main thing.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I think that's why the community loves him, at least
- 26:26Speaker 1: the cryptos side. Yeah, Ron, what do you think is
- 26:30Speaker 1: going to happen with the FED here in twenty twenty five?
- 26:33Speaker 1: How do you think Jerome Pal is going to handle
- 26:35Speaker 1: this inflationary scenario we're in right now?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Well, you know, gosh, you should have asked me that
- 26:41Speaker 2: two weeks ago before my brain got jumbled with unicorn
- 26:44Speaker 2: fart tests. But you know, I think the FED is
- 26:49Speaker 2: in a position when you look at the national debt
- 26:52Speaker 2: thirty six trillion dollars, When you look at the fact
- 26:55Speaker 2: that we're spending a trillion dollars a year on interest alone,
- 27:00Speaker 2: which means that basically twenty cents out of every dollar
- 27:03Speaker 2: that we send into our government is being paid out
- 27:06Speaker 2: in interest. We're really getting almost nothing for it. Here,
- 27:10Speaker 2: can I show you a visual real quick? Yeah, here's
- 27:12Speaker 2: here's what I think. Okay, And I made this over
- 27:15Speaker 2: a year ago the day we got home from vacation.
- 27:18Speaker 2: We aren't supposed to open it, Paul, but I'll open
- 27:20Speaker 2: it just for you. Okay. This is in that box
- 27:24Speaker 2: is Jerome po all right. And right on one side
- 27:28Speaker 2: I put it. This is from a year and a
- 27:29Speaker 2: half ago in r right like we're in a we're
- 27:32Speaker 2: in a you know what, that tough recession. And on
- 27:35Speaker 2: the other side we have an eye which is for inflation, right, Okay, okay,
- 27:40Speaker 2: and inside there thanks to my old friend. Hold on
- 27:45Speaker 2: a second, Gosh, I want to say, his name is
- 27:47Speaker 2: put Paper, right, So I mean, I think we can
- 27:50Speaker 2: get real complicated. And I and look, you know, I
- 27:53Speaker 2: studied I work for a big what is now one
- 27:55Speaker 2: of the big four accounting firms. I studied economics and
- 27:59Speaker 2: Budapest hunger when I was in college at Carl Marx
- 28:03Speaker 2: University of all places, first semester. I understand all the complicated.
- 28:08Speaker 2: At the end of the day, right, I think we're
- 28:11Speaker 2: most likely going into a stackflationary environment. But the only
- 28:15Speaker 2: thing they're going to be able to do is print money, period.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I mean, there's no other, there's no other you can
- 28:20Speaker 2: get off complix, you can get all complicated and pull
- 28:23Speaker 2: up charts and look at all these different crazy you know,
- 28:26Speaker 2: I could do that, and I always tried to keep
- 28:28Speaker 2: things simple. But when you're in a situation where you
- 28:31Speaker 2: have so much debt, okay, and it's and we really
- 28:35Speaker 2: are in almost a debt spiral situation, and the founding
- 28:39Speaker 2: bothers of this country are angry, right because they put
- 28:41Speaker 2: gold and silver in the in the US Constitution for
- 28:44Speaker 2: a reason, but that's long gone, right in seventy one. Look,
- 28:48Speaker 2: I was nineteen seventy one. I was one year old.
- 28:50Speaker 2: My mom will attest because the TV was on, and
- 28:53Speaker 2: when Nixon came on and said we're going off the
- 28:55Speaker 2: gold standard, I like screamed for four hours. Okay, I
- 28:59Speaker 2: was so angry, but I'm just joking. But you know
- 29:01Speaker 2: when Nixon did that, I mean, we we are in
- 29:04Speaker 2: a situation now in this country where we're really uh,
- 29:10Speaker 2: dilution of the currency is the only solution. And I
- 29:13Speaker 2: think that's why people are looking towards other assets like gold, silver,
- 29:17Speaker 2: and crypto.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that's that's going to be the key there.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I think as we start to see the new administration
- 29:22Speaker 1: come in, if they if they do, in fact get
- 29:24Speaker 1: a strategic bitcoin reserve, that will be unique. What do
- 29:27Speaker 1: you think about countries starting to acquire gold, because there's
- 29:30Speaker 1: been quite a bit of gold acquisition from a lot
- 29:33Speaker 1: of major countries outside of the United States.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yeah. The central banks of the world, for gosh, probably
- 29:40Speaker 2: like the last two to three years, have been acquiring
- 29:43Speaker 2: physical gold at a rate like I don't think, like
- 29:46Speaker 2: a rate like any other time in history. What I
- 29:49Speaker 2: would what I would say to that is very simple, basically, right,
- 29:54Speaker 2: the world central banks are the are the insiders. They're
- 29:58Speaker 2: the most sophisticated, right, financial institutions in the world. Who
- 30:03Speaker 2: cares what they say? Look at what they're doing. They
- 30:06Speaker 2: are moving away from the US dollar, which again, look,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I have American flags, I'm born. You know, it's a
- 30:12Speaker 2: very unfortunate situation. But if they're moving away from the dollar,
- 30:17Speaker 2: what does that tell you? Right? And I'm not saying
- 30:19Speaker 2: the dollar is going to you're going to be gone tomorrow,
- 30:22Speaker 2: but we're definitely in a major cycle where where every
- 30:28Speaker 2: indication is either if you look at it from a
- 30:31Speaker 2: numbers perspective, or what these world central banks are doing.
- 30:34Speaker 2: That the value, the real value of the dollar, right,
- 30:37Speaker 2: Not the d X Y indeck you're dollars up. No,
- 30:40Speaker 2: the real value, Like ask yourself, ask yourself, how much
- 30:45Speaker 2: would one hundred dollars buy you at the grocery store,
- 30:49Speaker 2: you know, ten years ago, and then today that same
- 30:52Speaker 2: hundred dollars bill, how much does it buy you. I
- 30:54Speaker 2: had a hilarious conversation, and this is worth letting me.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Let me tell this because it's funny if I can remember,
- 31:00Speaker 2: it's a funny joke. I had a Missouri one of
- 31:03Speaker 2: the Missouri representatives in here down here, and we were
- 31:05Speaker 2: talking and he said, yeah, one of my constituents is
- 31:08Speaker 2: like ninety years old, and he keeps telling me he
- 31:11Speaker 2: must be getting stronger and stronger because it's getting easier
- 31:14Speaker 2: for him to carry one hundred dollars worth of groceries
- 31:16Speaker 2: out of the grocery store every year. So you know, anyway,
- 31:20Speaker 2: that's that's good, that's what I Yeah, they get.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, Ron, it's been good having you on the show.
- 31:25Speaker 2: You guys.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Check out his YouTube channel Run's basement. He talks about
- 31:28Speaker 1: gold silver and now you're gonna have to put memes.
- 31:30Speaker 2: In there and give me a little time. It's been
- 31:35Speaker 2: it's been crazy. I just want to say thank you
- 31:38Speaker 2: to you. Congratulations. I know you just recently hit a
- 31:41Speaker 2: million subscribers on YouTube.
