- 0:05Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the right time. A wave original.
- 0:10Speaker 1: My name is Bobani Jones. Thanks for listening wherever you
- 0:12Speaker 1: get your podcast. Thanks for watching us on YouTube. Subscribe, like,
- 0:17Speaker 1: rate us, review us, give us five stars. You only
- 0:19Speaker 1: give us four stars. I'm inclined to believe you are
- 0:22Speaker 1: a hater. We got a lot going on. We got
- 0:25Speaker 1: a lot of college football stuff. We got the police
- 0:27Speaker 1: out here acting bad, right? Trying to figure out what's
- 0:30Speaker 1: going on with some of these quarterbacks. But yesterday, We
- 0:34Speaker 1: got a great slate of NFL football. And not only
- 0:37Speaker 1: did we get a great slate of NFL football, we
- 0:40Speaker 1: got a great slate of NFL football while still in
- 0:44Speaker 1: the midst of the bye weeks, right? Where you're still
- 0:47Speaker 1: looking up and being like, damn, where is that team? Like, oh,
- 0:50Speaker 1: where are the Colts? The Colts got a week off
- 0:52Speaker 1: after they took that ass whooping last week. And then
- 0:54Speaker 1: it's like, damn, where are the Saints? And it was
- 0:56Speaker 1: very disappointing for the rest of the NFL that the
- 0:58Speaker 1: Saints didn't play because if they did, somebody would win.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You know what I mean? They bring joy all across America.
- 1:08Speaker 1: They like a spirit squad. That's how I look at them.
- 1:14Speaker 1: But I have to be honest. I'm talking about that
- 1:16Speaker 1: great slate of gains. It was really a great slate
- 1:21Speaker 1: of gains on paper.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:25Speaker 1: A lot of good matchups. A lot of intriguing matchups.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Not that many actual, factual, great games, but I did
- 1:35Speaker 1: think the games were interesting. And look, the crown jewels
- 1:39Speaker 1: of the weekend, I think that we would agree. The
- 1:40Speaker 1: two games that we were most looking for were... Actually,
- 1:43Speaker 1: we had three of them, but we're going to lock
- 1:44Speaker 1: you in on two of them right now. The game
- 1:47Speaker 1: of the week CBS had was Broncos and the Chiefs.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Then we had the night game, the Lions and the Eagles.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And because you guys are typically curious about these things, yes.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I went to Nick's house for the Chiefs and the Broncos,
- 2:02Speaker 1: and I left after the first quarter because I could tell.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It was getting a little bit tense. And then the 12-year-old,
- 2:08Speaker 1: when I left, looked at me and said, so I'm
- 2:10Speaker 1: going to have to deal with this all by myself?
- 2:13Speaker 1: And unfortunately, darling, that was exactly what was going to happen, man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: because it was like we wasn't even there. You know
- 2:20Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Like the only way we could be
- 2:22Speaker 1: there is by being annoyed, right? My man got focused.
- 2:25Speaker 1: He was in on that. So anyway, watch some of
- 2:27Speaker 1: that game over there. Came back, watched the game at
- 2:30Speaker 1: the crib. Also had Eagles and Lions that night. And sorry,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I just had this moment where I got a little
- 2:40Speaker 1: salty about the Lions losing again. But anyway, the macro
- 2:43Speaker 1: overarching theme that I had about that game and it's
- 2:48Speaker 1: going to tie to some other games too. but it
- 2:50Speaker 1: really was overarching. I came out by that game was,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't feel like anybody came out of that game
- 2:56Speaker 1: feeling good about the 18, either one of those games.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I don't think anybody did. I was looking at all
- 3:01Speaker 1: threads yesterday. I do that from time to time. Anyway, uh,
- 3:07Speaker 1: Jamel Hill has sent a tweet. I'm reading it now.
- 3:08Speaker 1: She says, so after beating the Lions, is the media
- 3:11Speaker 1: going to spend this week talking about the Eagles like
- 3:13Speaker 1: they're 2-8 instead of 8-2? And the answer is, yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 1: pretty much. That's what we're going to do. Except it's
- 3:20Speaker 1: not really so much that we're going to talk about
- 3:22Speaker 1: the Eagles like they're 2-8. We're going to talk about
- 3:24Speaker 1: them like they got a 2-8 offense that has 8-2 talent.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And there's just no... They are an awful watch. Like, Ryan,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I think that's maybe the thing that makes this most interesting.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It's not simply that they're not good on offense. They're
- 3:39Speaker 1: hard to watch. Yeah, you see why they're not good
- 3:40Speaker 1: at offense. It ain't even like they trying to be good.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I remember I texted you this last night. They look
- 3:46Speaker 3: like a team that needs to make a trade for
- 3:48Speaker 3: a game-changing wide receiver.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Except they have one of those.
- 3:51Speaker 1: They have two of them.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Two of them. They drafted one. They traded for one.
- 3:54Speaker 1: They've got two game-changing wide receivers. They've got a pretty
- 3:56Speaker 1: good running back. Right? They have a not bad quarterback.
- 4:00Speaker 1: So that's the thing I think we have to say
- 4:01Speaker 1: about Hurts. And I'm curious if you agree with me
- 4:03Speaker 1: about this one. Where I do think that Hurts is
- 4:05Speaker 1: a limited quarterback. And they're not even getting to the
- 4:08Speaker 1: limit of the limited.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:10Speaker 1: They're telling everybody just don't mess nothing up. We keep
- 4:14Speaker 1: talking about how mad A.J. Brown is. I assure you,
- 4:17Speaker 1: everybody over there has got to be mad. I'm starting
- 4:20Speaker 1: to like him even more because I feel like he's
- 4:23Speaker 1: taking the fall for the whole squad. He has decided, fine,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'll do it.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I'll say something.
- 4:30Speaker 1: If they all said something, maybe it would be a
- 4:32Speaker 1: little bit better. The owner had to come down and
- 4:35Speaker 1: talk to him. And I'm sure the owner started with, hey, hey, hey.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Here's my question for you, Ryan. Where do you think
- 4:43Speaker 1: they had that conversation? And so Jeffrey Lurie, the owner
- 4:45Speaker 1: of the Eagles, they said they'd put it out there.
- 4:47Speaker 1: He had a meeting with A.J. Brown. And they basically
- 4:50Speaker 1: were like, man, just don't do it.
- 4:51Speaker 3: You're asking if he got called to the principal's office?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Well, no. I'm not even surprised he didn't get called
- 4:55Speaker 1: to the principal's office. But like, well, yes. Yeah. There
- 4:59Speaker 1: we go. A much nicer principal's office. Yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Except I don't think it was ever going to be
- 5:04Speaker 1: like the principal's office because I would know if I
- 5:06Speaker 1: was A.J. Brown that we're just going to have a
- 5:08Speaker 1: chat here. Right, right. Because there ain't no way in
- 5:12Speaker 1: the world he'd think this shit is okay. He the
- 5:15Speaker 1: one paying for it.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:17Speaker 1: So, like, if A.J. Brown has a problem and he
- 5:20Speaker 1: gets paid for it, what do you think the guy
- 5:22Speaker 1: that's paying for it.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Feels about it? Yeah, and not just paying him, paying Hertz.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Paying Smith, paying Barclay, yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 1: All of these people to score like 15 points. So like,
- 5:31Speaker 1: did they come up in the office? And you know
- 5:33Speaker 1: how the office would be set up, whereas the desk,
- 5:35Speaker 1: but then there's also a very nice couch and coffee table.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Maybe a nice view. Right, with snacks and all kinds
- 5:43Speaker 1: of things. Like, you know, would you like a latte?
- 5:45Speaker 1: I can have somebody go make one for you.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Right, like, was the chat along those terms? Did the
- 5:50Speaker 1: owner come down to the locker room during practice and
- 5:52Speaker 1: be like, hey, AJ, let's go talk over here to
- 5:54Speaker 1: the side. Yeah. And they just posted up. was it
- 5:57Speaker 1: like when they had that team meeting?
- 5:59Speaker 3: I was about to say it was in the parking lot.
- 6:02Speaker 1: They actually just met in the parking lot. Right. And,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and then when, when, when, when Jeffrey Lurie is like,
- 6:08Speaker 1: Hey man, just not in front of everybody. Cause like
- 6:12Speaker 1: that was, that was the ESPN room.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Just not in front of everybody. Like the only times
- 6:19Speaker 1: they ever called me was stop fighting with your colleagues. Right.
- 6:25Speaker 3: In front of God and everyone.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yes, like that was kind of like that. I told the,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I guess I wasn't here, but I was telling the Chris,
- 6:33Speaker 1: did I tell the Chris Broussard story on here?
- 6:35Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Okay, yes.
- 6:36Speaker 3: You did not know his name, but yes, you told
- 6:37Speaker 3: that story.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Okay, it was Chris Broussard. Okay, we're homies, so it's okay.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But they were just like, come on, man. Or at
- 6:46Speaker 1: one time, I was giving it to Darren Revell once.
- 6:48Speaker 1: They were like, hey, hey, hey. That's the only time
- 6:52Speaker 1: they ever called was about that. I could have said
- 6:54Speaker 1: what I wanted about anybody else, about anything else. But
- 6:58Speaker 1: you messy-ass blogs, that's when y'all show up is when
- 7:02Speaker 1: we start talking about each other.
- 7:03Speaker 3: People want media beef.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I hold this show back at every turn by me
- 7:10Speaker 1: thinking it's just a little bit cheap and chintzy. for
- 7:13Speaker 1: me to jump in to ESPN beef or to complain
- 7:16Speaker 1: about ESPN or to talk to y'all about why y'all
- 7:19Speaker 1: so mad at Stephen A. Smith and participate in that conversation,
- 7:23Speaker 1: anything else, brother, we would be doing bananas numbers. It
- 7:26Speaker 1: makes no sense to me. You guys care more about
- 7:31Speaker 1: that than you do about actual factual sports. I don't,
- 7:37Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. Like it used to
- 7:39Speaker 1: be I got tired of it when I meet people
- 7:40Speaker 1: and they want to ask me questions about this team,
- 7:42Speaker 1: that team, whatever it is. Then it turned into they
- 7:45Speaker 1: just want to know mess about like every like not
- 7:49Speaker 1: even about like, hey, she is fine. She look like
- 7:52Speaker 1: she is on TV. Nope. Not even that. Maybe it's
- 7:55Speaker 1: because you appreciate my decency. I don't know. Now, y'all
- 7:59Speaker 1: just want to get into some mess. That's all it is.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And in line with that, Jeffrey Lurie is like, look, man,
- 8:06Speaker 1: they don't really care that much about sports. They just
- 8:08Speaker 1: want to talk about mess. So if you could give
- 8:11Speaker 1: us a little less mess, and he said, fine, could
- 8:13Speaker 1: y'all give me the ball? And Jeffrey Lurie said, hey, man,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I can't give you, I can't do everything.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I can't change the world. Right, right, right, right.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Like, look, man, I'll actually play for the team, and
- 8:23Speaker 1: that offense looked terrible. Now, granted, the Detroit Lions, who are,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I got thoughts on them, but anyway, The defense is good.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And the defense played well. But the Eagles offense is bad.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And there's no way you win that game and come
- 8:42Speaker 1: out of it feeling good. You just can't. On the
- 8:46Speaker 1: other hand, you know. The Dan Campbell play calling experiment,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I don't fully understand how I feel about it. I
- 8:55Speaker 1: thought that he got way too cute at points in
- 8:59Speaker 1: that game. Like, for example, you got the ball inside
- 9:01Speaker 1: the 10-yard line. It's like on the five. It's third down.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Why are you running out of the shotgun, Dan? I don't,
- 9:09Speaker 1: as much as he is, oh, man's man, right? I
- 9:13Speaker 1: owe an apology to Big Brain Ben. Because apparently, it's
- 9:17Speaker 1: Dan Campbell with the big brains. And buddy, don't nobody
- 9:21Speaker 1: want that from you. What are you talking about? Like
- 9:23Speaker 1: I saw somebody make the point about Megan Thee Stallion
- 9:27Speaker 1: that now that she's, you know, in love, that if
- 9:32Speaker 1: she think anybody want to hear her rap about that shit,
- 9:34Speaker 1: she got this game messed up. Right? I understand that completely. Right? 100%
- 9:39Speaker 1: totally get that. Dan Campbell, we don't, don't nobody hire
- 9:45Speaker 1: you to be the coach to run out of the
- 9:47Speaker 1: shotgun on third and goal from the five. He's throwing
- 9:51Speaker 1: it out there. At the same time, Jerry Goff, they
- 9:55Speaker 1: knocked him off his square and he was done for.
- 9:58Speaker 1: He just didn't have it. Didn't have it. But I
- 10:01Speaker 1: did not come away from this game feeling like those
- 10:03Speaker 1: are two very good teams. I did come out of
- 10:07Speaker 1: that thinking the Eagles defense is monstrous. And shout out
- 10:11Speaker 1: to Howie Roseman, who seemed to figure out, okay, why
- 10:15Speaker 1: would I trade for things on offense that we're not
- 10:17Speaker 1: going to use? That wouldn't make any sense. Why don't
- 10:20Speaker 1: I just make this defense a little bit more terrified?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Go get Jalen Johnson.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Terror. Right.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Great job.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, and also, you know, that plan of
- 10:33Speaker 3: let's draft guys from Georgia.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yes.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Seems to work.
- 10:38Speaker 1: So it's funny because I joke about it with the Bengals,
- 10:40Speaker 1: where the Bengals notoriously have a bare-bones scouting department. Right.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And they just got a bunch of guys that you
- 10:45Speaker 1: could watch with bunny ears on their TVs. Guys that
- 10:48Speaker 1: go to places like Ohio State, Clemson, LSU. Like, they're
- 10:53Speaker 1: not digging into crates.
- 10:54Speaker 3: If they didn't solve the ESPN YouTube TV thing, they
- 10:56Speaker 3: wouldn't be able to scout.
- 10:57Speaker 1: No, they drafted everybody that you would draft. Right. And
- 11:02Speaker 1: by the way, generally great decisions, right? Like, not decisions
- 11:05Speaker 1: that you would overthink, but Jamar Chase, if it came
- 11:08Speaker 1: down to who do you take, Jamar Chase or Panay Sewell,
- 11:10Speaker 1: you would take Jamar Chase.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Correct.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Right?
- 11:12Speaker 1: And they did. Yeah. Like, those are the kinds of
- 11:15Speaker 1: picks that they made. But, yeah, the Eagles were just like, wow,
- 11:17Speaker 1: we went down to Georgia, and they had a zillion
- 11:20Speaker 1: really good players. They even drafted a couple guys from
- 11:22Speaker 1: Georgia that aren't that good. Yeah. They just keep giving
- 11:27Speaker 1: it a try. They got the two defensive tackles from Georgia.
- 11:29Speaker 1: They got N'Kobe Dean.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 1: They got him. I feel like they got, well, Malachi Starks,
- 11:34Speaker 1: he went to Georgia, right?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And he's not that good. Right. Like, it's a great
- 11:39Speaker 1: place to start from. If Georgia says you're good, maybe
- 11:43Speaker 1: you're good. But they're doing that. They've got that. Their
- 11:46Speaker 1: offense is not good. The Broncos seem to be basically
- 11:50Speaker 1: the same version of that team. And I understand this, guys.
- 11:54Speaker 1: If you go look at that box score, it's going
- 11:55Speaker 1: to tell you that Bo Nix was pretty good slash
- 11:58Speaker 1: just fine. And I understand why you would think that.
- 12:03Speaker 1: He is not good, right? Even if he played pretty
- 12:06Speaker 1: good in that game, he ain't, he ain't it. And
- 12:11Speaker 1: it wasn't like watching that game. You got the feeling
- 12:14Speaker 1: like he was it.
- 12:16Speaker 3: He was not.
- 12:17Speaker 1: OK, but look, they put up 22 points and they
- 12:21Speaker 1: won that game. He is not it. I need help
- 12:25Speaker 1: understanding what I'm supposed to do with the Chiefs, who
- 12:28Speaker 1: just a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty sure
- 12:31Speaker 1: that they were back and they were the best team
- 12:32Speaker 1: in the AFC. And by the way, I think it
- 12:36Speaker 1: is possible. that they're the best team in the AFC.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Mahomes did not play a very good game. Mahomes had
- 12:41Speaker 1: a couple of big shots that were there that we
- 12:44Speaker 1: have grown accustomed to him making and that he simply missed. Like,
- 12:48Speaker 1: there were many ways in which the Chiefs could have
- 12:52Speaker 1: won this game. It is, this is the weirdest thing.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You're never going to have a situation where you're going
- 12:57Speaker 1: to say something like this very often. It is still
- 12:59Speaker 1: possible that they are the best team in the league.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I mean, in the AFC. I mean, leave it at that.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It's still possible. Um, Ryan, the only problem is it's
- 13:13Speaker 1: going to take a lot for them to make the playoffs.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Right.
- 13:18Speaker 3: They probably need to go. They're five and five. They
- 13:20Speaker 3: probably need to go five and two, maybe even six
- 13:23Speaker 3: and one.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Okay. So try this. Here's where it gets fun. Playoffs
- 13:26Speaker 1: start today. Seven teams go to the playoffs. Broncos, Patriots, Colts, Steelers, Bills, Chargers, Jaguars.
- 13:34Speaker 1: We got three teams at five and five. Okay, and
- 13:38Speaker 1: just to let you know what five and five is,
- 13:41Speaker 1: the fucking Dolphins are four and seven. Okay, you're this
- 13:45Speaker 1: close to being them.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Five and five is the Texans, the Chiefs, and the Ravens. Okay.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Somewhere between two and three of those teams are not
- 13:58Speaker 1: going to the playoffs. Right. Like it is entirely possible
- 14:01Speaker 1: that Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are going to be
- 14:07Speaker 1: at the crib. For the playoffs.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Right?
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's looking like, listen to this. Quarterbacks at the playoffs
- 14:13Speaker 1: started today. Bo Nix, Drake May, Daniel Jones, the ghost
- 14:20Speaker 1: of Aaron.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Rodgers or Mason Rudolph.
- 14:26Speaker 1: The new Josh Allen that looked like the old Josh Allen.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Pin in that. Whatever the hell Justin Herbert is.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:34Speaker 1: And Trevor Lawrence, who's A player?
- 14:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 14:39Speaker 1: In the NFL, right? That's what it's looking like over there.
- 14:43Speaker 1: But again, I didn't come out of this feeling great
- 14:45Speaker 1: about the Broncos. I didn't come out of this feeling
- 14:47Speaker 1: great about the Chiefs. What I did come out of
- 14:51Speaker 1: it thinking, though, and this is a very interesting question
- 14:53Speaker 1: in this day and age, is this possible? Can you
- 14:56Speaker 1: 2,000 Ravens your way to a championship? Because it appears
- 14:59Speaker 1: that that is what the Broncos and the Eagles are
- 15:02Speaker 1: going to try to do. We are going to try
- 15:03Speaker 1: to hold you guys to 17 points a game. and
- 15:07Speaker 1: cobble together the rest of it. And by the way,
- 15:09Speaker 1: we might be able to do it.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Right?
- 15:12Speaker 1: You have the guys, but can you do that in
- 15:14Speaker 1: 2025 NFL football? Cause if you can, everybody building teams wrong.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Like this is this. Now, again, the Eagles just have
- 15:22Speaker 1: an overwhelming level of talent. And again, when it got
- 15:24Speaker 1: another pass rusher, the Broncos who I promise you have
- 15:29Speaker 1: the most amazing defense with a bunch of dudes. I, I,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I don't know who they are. I watched this Bonito guy.
- 15:38Speaker 1: He seems to be very good. I hope he doesn't
- 15:40Speaker 1: rob me one day because if he does, I couldn't
- 15:42Speaker 1: tell the cops.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Shit.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about him. I don't know nothing
- 15:46Speaker 1: about any of these guys. I'm looking at all the names.
- 15:49Speaker 1: How are you this good? And I don't know who
- 15:51Speaker 1: anybody is except for my man that y'all keep picking on.
- 15:56Speaker 1: How many flags did they call on Riley Moss?
- 15:59Speaker 3: They kept showing the graphic. He had the most DPI
- 16:02Speaker 3: calls in the league seven this year and two, two yesterday.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 16:06Speaker 1: One of them. Come on, man. At least one of them.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Speaking of that, the Lions had a chance to get
- 16:13Speaker 1: the ball back and they called such a janky pass
- 16:16Speaker 1: interference call on Rocky. I seen at the end there.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And it's so crazy. Like, why would you think it
- 16:20Speaker 1: was passing interference? Just because the Eagles couldn't catch the ball.
- 16:23Speaker 1: They can't never catch the ball.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Um, um, Eric passed to AJ Brown. That's their offense.
- 16:29Speaker 1: And it was a terrible call to me by the Eagles.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You knew you weren't going to make anything happen. You
- 16:34Speaker 1: should have made them burn that last time out. Like
- 16:36Speaker 1: the Lions are going to get the ball back and
- 16:38Speaker 1: have one time out and an off chance that they
- 16:40Speaker 1: could have made something happen. There was another terrible pass interference.
- 16:44Speaker 1: It was easier when I didn't have a team. Anyway,
- 16:48Speaker 1: are they going to try to like defense their way
- 16:51Speaker 1: to a championship? And if they are, Is anybody else
- 16:56Speaker 1: trying to do that? This is a tease into another block.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I don't think anybody could come out of the weekend
- 17:10Speaker 1: feeling worse about themselves relative to how they felt going
- 17:13Speaker 1: into the weekend than fans of the Seattle Seahawks.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I got a text from you. Does that say Donald's
- 17:20Speaker 3: thrown four interceptions?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Yes, that is what I said. That is exactly the text.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I have been watching Chiefs and Broncos, and then I
- 17:28Speaker 1: came home from Nick's house. And so, you know, Nick
- 17:32Speaker 1: got all the screens, right? It's like Buffalo Wild Wings
- 17:34Speaker 1: over there. Like, you can watch all the games. I
- 17:36Speaker 1: typically don't watch football like that. I just got the one.
- 17:39Speaker 1: But this is the rare time where it was like
- 17:41Speaker 1: multiple games, not that I simply wanted to watch, but
- 17:43Speaker 1: that I would like to have paid attention to.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Right. Right.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And it turned out to be everything going on over there.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But anyway, I'm not really paying attention to Rams Seahawks,
- 17:56Speaker 1: which is honestly, that was the game with the best teams.
- 18:00Speaker 1: One would have argued like, I think we were talking
- 18:02Speaker 1: coming into that game that may, may be the best
- 18:04Speaker 1: two teams.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I look up, I see what the score is. I'm like, Oh, okay.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I go on the box score and I see the
- 18:11Speaker 1: Sam Donald has four interceptions and it's the third quarter.
- 18:15Speaker 3: And they were bad. And they were bad. It's not
- 18:18Speaker 3: like the arm putt interceptions or DB making great. It's
- 18:23Speaker 3: you're playing someone who's a lot worse than Madden. You
- 18:25Speaker 3: interceptions where they're just thrown in the thrown in the linebackers.
- 18:29Speaker 1: And what we have learned here is that. I have
- 18:34Speaker 1: made this point before. You can get better. but you
- 18:39Speaker 1: can't become a new person.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Right. Like that's the thing about quarterbacks and a lot
- 18:44Speaker 1: of these guys, they can get better, but they can't
- 18:47Speaker 1: become different. They can't become new. And what your hope
- 18:51Speaker 1: had to be from Sam Darnold after watching the first
- 18:54Speaker 1: six years of his career was that somehow he would
- 18:58Speaker 1: become something different, right? He got better. He's still who
- 19:07Speaker 1: he was because those look like, Sam, I'm seeing Ghost
- 19:11Speaker 1: Darnold plays in interceptions. When I went back and got
- 19:14Speaker 1: a chance to check him out, I'm like, oh, oh, oh, oh. Yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 1: he's not terribly different. He just got better. And Ryan,
- 19:21Speaker 1: does this also perhaps apply to Matthew Stafford?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Because Sam Darnold threw four interceptions in that game and
- 19:28Speaker 1: the Seahawks lost that game by two points.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Yeah, missed a field goal with a gun. You know, like,
- 19:36Speaker 3: just that field goal. And, yeah, you– with– we'll talk
- 19:40Speaker 3: Michael McDonald. We talked about this going into the game.
- 19:43Speaker 3: They might have the two best defenses in the NFL.
- 19:45Speaker 3: They might.
- 19:46Speaker 1: They might. But Matthew Stafford– Matthew Stafford looked not like
- 19:50Speaker 1: Matthew Stafford in the sense that he didn't give the
- 19:52Speaker 1: ball away in the course of this, because apparently he's
- 19:54Speaker 1: having one of those years where I just don't throw
- 19:56Speaker 1: interceptions anymore.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Like this happens. I want to watch Nick Foles have
- 20:01Speaker 1: one of those years.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:02Speaker 1: This is this goes where like, OK, I don't do
- 20:04Speaker 1: this right now. Stafford was 15 for 28 for 130 yards.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Like this was, they did not look great either. Are
- 20:16Speaker 1: both of these teams going to try to Baltimore Ravens
- 20:20Speaker 1: their way into success? Is that what it like? Is that,
- 20:24Speaker 1: is that going to be the strategy that they have
- 20:27Speaker 1: to employ? But I don't feel like anybody comes out
- 20:30Speaker 1: of that game. No feeling much better about their team. Um,
- 20:36Speaker 1: I don't think anybody came out of Buffalo, Tampa Bay
- 20:40Speaker 1: feeling better about their team. But for Buffalo, ooh, is
- 20:50Speaker 1: it going to be like this for the rest of
- 20:51Speaker 1: the year? Because this is two straight weeks that we
- 20:55Speaker 1: have had a 2020 Josh Allen sighting. We're this close
- 21:00Speaker 1: to him throwing Hail Mary bombs in overtime to a
- 21:04Speaker 1: square body. In the playoffs, Josh Allen. Now, granted, we
- 21:09Speaker 1: also got this new and improved Josh Allen. But do
- 21:13Speaker 1: you remember earlier this year when people were trying to
- 21:15Speaker 1: make the honest-to-God argument? that Josh Allen was playing quarterback
- 21:20Speaker 1: as well as anybody had ever played quarterback in the
- 21:22Speaker 1: history of the NFL. Right. Ain't nobody saying that right now. No,
- 21:25Speaker 1: that's not it. Like he's that dude, but they it's got,
- 21:29Speaker 1: are they just asking for him to do too much?
- 21:32Speaker 3: And they're, they're at the point now they're sitting, they're healthy,
- 21:35Speaker 3: scratching receivers. Their tight ends are getting hurt. They have
- 21:39Speaker 3: an awful run defense. So if Josh Allen's going to
- 21:42Speaker 3: carry these, he's going to have to score. 35 points
- 21:46Speaker 3: every playoff game.
- 21:46Speaker 1: They're going to play a lot of games on the
- 21:47Speaker 1: road and that run defense part. Look, there's nothing worse
- 21:50Speaker 1: that you can say about a football team that they
- 21:51Speaker 1: can't stop the run. Like if you think about this,
- 21:54Speaker 1: there's nothing that feels more demoralizing to watch. You have
- 21:57Speaker 1: eliminated all the risk, but still allowing for the possibility
- 22:01Speaker 1: for explosion.
- 22:02Speaker 3: And you're watching that your quarterback just sit there.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yes, just over there on the sideline.
- 22:08Speaker 3: And it's Buffalo, so they're going to have a big
- 22:10Speaker 3: old jacket.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:11Speaker 1: He's probably tired of being out there with them cats anyway.
- 22:13Speaker 1: But they can't stop a nosebleed on the ground. But
- 22:17Speaker 1: it was fun to watch. It was highly entertaining to
- 22:21Speaker 1: watch what the Josh Allen show was. He had that
- 22:24Speaker 1: crazy flick play that he tried to make at that point.
- 22:28Speaker 1: The two interceptions that he had were insane. They were
- 22:32Speaker 1: not good. Even the one that was on fourth down,
- 22:34Speaker 1: that was not a good interception. They could keep talking
- 22:37Speaker 1: about how he accounted for five touchdowns, and that's cool,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but it was all over the place. Tampa Bay, they
- 22:44Speaker 1: was running on them with a dude that I ain't
- 22:45Speaker 1: even heard of, Sean Tucker guy. He was out there
- 22:49Speaker 1: looking like, did he wear number 44 in Syracuse? Because
- 22:52Speaker 1: he was out there looking like Jim Brown. Like, did
- 22:56Speaker 1: he get the Floyd Little jersey? You know what I'm saying? Like,
- 22:58Speaker 1: were they allowing him? Or was he just a dude
- 23:01Speaker 1: that went to Syracuse? But they, nah, nah. And it's funny.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Tampa Bay has two examples of better, but are they
- 23:12Speaker 1: the same? And that is Baker Mayfield and Todd Bowles. Right. Right.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Right?
- 23:17Speaker 1: Like, like Ty Bowles, this is.
- 23:19Speaker 3: You can get better, but you can't change.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is, this is the question, but
- 23:23Speaker 1: oh my God, just for all of them. I'm just
- 23:25Speaker 1: looking at it like Ty Bowles. Remember when Ty Bowles
- 23:28Speaker 1: had to go for two a couple of times in
- 23:29Speaker 1: this game, right?
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:30Speaker 1: And you know, he hated it.
- 23:32Speaker 3: I hated it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: You know, he hated it so much just for them
- 23:35Speaker 1: to like not get it.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Like that was the thing just for you to not
- 23:40Speaker 1: get it. I kept having to go for two.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 3: If you don't get the first one, you got to
- 23:46Speaker 3: keep going and going. And you can see him on
- 23:48Speaker 3: the sidelines being miserable.
- 23:50Speaker 1: What is this, man? What are we doing? But that
- 23:54Speaker 1: was another one where it was just kind of like, hey, man,
- 23:57Speaker 1: nobody can feel good about the team that we came
- 24:01Speaker 1: out of here with. Nobody can. So is that, is
- 24:04Speaker 1: it just that time of year or the bears? They
- 24:08Speaker 1: still got that horseshoe in there. Ursa Keister.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 1: And they got another win. This JJ McCarthy.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Yeah. I was about to say, talking about quarterbacks who
- 24:16Speaker 3: are not it.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I mean, he's, there's still time, right?
- 24:21Speaker 3: He's probably had like what? Like five starts. Not even.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 1: But I'm gonna say this, Sam Darnold, everybody who's on the,
- 24:27Speaker 1: don't they feel stupid for getting rid of Sam Darnold?
- 24:29Speaker 1: Did you watch this game? That just happened, right? Like,
- 24:32Speaker 1: What they saw with Sam Darnold, I imagine, is a
- 24:35Speaker 1: full on understanding and realization that this can only go
- 24:40Speaker 1: so far with this guy.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:43Speaker 1: That everybody knows and understands it can only go so
- 24:46Speaker 1: far with this guy. So we're just not going to
- 24:49Speaker 1: do that. How about that? We're going to roll the
- 24:52Speaker 1: dice on the kid. It's a 50. And I think
- 24:54Speaker 1: that's the problem is that it's a 15 year play,
- 24:56Speaker 1: not a one year play. And we get our brains
- 24:59Speaker 1: can only look at football. Through the lens of a
- 25:03Speaker 1: one-year play. That's it. Speaking of entertaining, I don't know
- 25:08Speaker 1: how much you got to watch Jameis. We got the
- 25:10Speaker 1: full Jameis, too.
- 25:10Speaker 3: The full Jameis, yes. Oh, yeah.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Here's the thing about Jameis. If nothing else, Jameis is decisive.
- 25:16Speaker 1: He just doesn't make great decisions.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Correct. You know, he likes finality.
- 25:21Speaker 1: He decides, though.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Correct.
- 25:22Speaker 1: He hit him with a Harlem shake. Like, look, man.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Joe Flacco was in line with this, and I agree
- 25:29Speaker 1: with this more than ever. If I'm going to run
- 25:31Speaker 1: a team and I'm going to get a backup quarterback,
- 25:33Speaker 1: it's going to be a fun one.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Like, we're probably going to lose.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Might as well throw it around.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Yeah, why not have a good time? Everybody has a
- 25:43Speaker 1: good time when Jameis is there. If you're going to lose,
- 25:46Speaker 1: you might as well be fun. Right? That's what Jameis did. Meanwhile, Packers,
- 25:52Speaker 1: you guys aren't having any fun.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Are you?
- 25:54Speaker 1: No.
- 25:54Speaker 2: No.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Can't be.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Can't be. And by the way, I didn't think Jordan
- 25:58Speaker 1: Love played badly in this game.
- 26:01Speaker 3: He just gives you such high highs that you expect
- 26:04Speaker 3: so much more. And he has not done that for
- 26:07Speaker 3: a few weeks.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Dude, man, he's throwing the ball to, like, people who
- 26:12Speaker 1: came to the game. You know what I mean? Like,
- 26:16Speaker 1: if you showed up to the game and the jersey
- 26:18Speaker 1: that you bought was a number four eligible receiver.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Hey, man.
- 26:24Speaker 1: How'd you like, how'd you like, how'd you like your
- 26:25Speaker 1: dreams to come true?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Right?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Like, like, how'd you, how'd you like that? I can
- 26:30Speaker 1: do it. Like we out here just making everybody feel good.
- 26:32Speaker 1: How would you feel about that? That was, that was
- 26:34Speaker 1: what it seemed like again for that team. Like it doesn't,
- 26:39Speaker 1: it feels like that's a team that everybody knows. This isn't,
- 26:43Speaker 1: I don't even know the right word to use, but
- 26:45Speaker 1: this isn't it. Um, Because they was down to the
- 26:51Speaker 1: wire with the Giants. Like the Giants had the opportunity
- 26:54Speaker 1: to go ahead and win that game. They just did
- 26:57Speaker 1: not pull that off. But it was there.
- 26:58Speaker 3: The coachless, quarterbackless New York Giants.
- 27:02Speaker 1: You're right. Yeah. There's nobody there to even check roll.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't even know who the interim is. Kafka.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Kafka.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah, to give the OC a shot.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how you know that they fired Brian Dayball
- 27:21Speaker 1: for messing up the rental car. Yeah. Because they kept
- 27:24Speaker 1: the same offense.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Yeah, they didn't put the adult who's like the random
- 27:28Speaker 3: staffer in charge.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Yeah, the linebacker's coach.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 27:31Speaker 1: They did not give him the job. No, no, no, no, no.
- 27:34Speaker 1: They gave that job. They were just like, no, no.
- 27:37Speaker 1: The problem is not what you think it is. By
- 27:39Speaker 1: the way, Mason Rudolph is probably going to play because
- 27:40Speaker 1: they think Aaron Rodgers got a broken left wrist.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 1: The idea that Mason Rudolph still plays NFL football is
- 27:48Speaker 1: kind of bananas.
- 27:50Speaker 3: They've done this experiment with him like four different times.
- 27:53Speaker 3: He's been there forever.
- 27:55Speaker 1: But what he is is a backup quarterback.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:58Speaker 1: And what he is that we used to have in
- 28:00Speaker 1: the NFL that we don't have anymore is he's the
- 28:02Speaker 1: long-term backup quarterback. Like, if Mason Rudolph has any coach
- 28:07Speaker 1: in him, he can have this job for, like, he'll
- 28:10Speaker 1: work with the Steelers forever. Gary Kubiak just hitched his
- 28:13Speaker 1: wagon to John Elway and rode that for decades.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I mean, he has been, like, I feel like, especially
- 28:19Speaker 3: because they keep trying to bring in starters. Yes. Like, so, like,
- 28:24Speaker 3: they did one of these with Trubisky. I feel like
- 28:26Speaker 3: he almost, like... He left and then came back. He
- 28:31Speaker 3: did a year in Tennessee.
- 28:32Speaker 1: That's right.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, like just been there forever.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Remember that time Miles Garrett tried to take his head off?
- 28:45Speaker 1: That happened. That happened. Also, what's up with your manager,
- 28:47Speaker 1: Bart Chase, spitting on people?
- 28:51Speaker 3: It's been a long year in Cincinnati.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yo, so the trick bag is he obviously spit on him. Right.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Is there a world of plausible, but I didn't mean to?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Like an Elmer Fudd situation?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Okay, yes, yes. That is the Thuffer and Thuckatash kind
- 29:09Speaker 1: of thing. All right, so here's the thing. All right,
- 29:11Speaker 1: so this is what I'm saying on that. You'll never
- 29:15Speaker 1: convince Jalen Ramsey of this.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Correct.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Right? Don't even bother with that one. You just need
- 29:21Speaker 1: to apologize no matter what you tried to do. Is
- 29:25Speaker 1: it possible, though, to an uninvested party that this happened?
- 29:33Speaker 1: I don't know. i i i yeah that was that
- 29:38Speaker 1: was all tough luck i can't but see here's the
- 29:41Speaker 1: thing about it's a tough year for cincinnati yes but
- 29:43Speaker 1: y'all yes and y'all are losing but hey man.
- 29:46Speaker 3: You're getting in the ball That's what I'm saying. He's
- 29:49Speaker 3: happier than A.J. Brown.
- 29:50Speaker 1: He only had three for 30. That's the one thing.
- 29:53Speaker 1: But at least they went. That's a great question. Who's
- 29:57Speaker 1: having a worse year? 8-2 A.J. Brown or 3-7 Jamar Chase.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Jamar Chase, who, by the way, wow, it's 79 catches,
- 30:06Speaker 1: but it's only 861 yards. He's averaged 11 yards a catch.
- 30:18Speaker 1: And they're losing.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Not happy.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but not AJ, bro. What if you could consistently

- 32:35Speaker 3: All right, let's get to some more stories from the weekend.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Shador Sanders got some action as Dale and Gabriel went
- 32:47Speaker 3: out with a concussion. Had a tough time, four for 16,
- 32:51Speaker 3: 47 yards and an interception. Bo, were you surprised by
- 32:55Speaker 3: this performance by Stewart?
- 32:57Speaker 1: I mean, it's an impossible situation for him as it
- 33:00Speaker 1: typically is for anybody in that situation, right? Right. You
- 33:05Speaker 1: haven't played any NFL football.
- 33:07Speaker 3: You haven't gone with anything. you haven't practiced with the
- 33:10Speaker 3: starters ever. No, no.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Yeah. It was going to look bad. Right. Um, what
- 33:15Speaker 1: you'd hope was for like some flash here and there.
- 33:18Speaker 1: And he had that one 20 yard pass that probably
- 33:21Speaker 1: would make you feel good. But the idea that he
- 33:24Speaker 1: hasn't been practicing with starters doesn't sound nearly as crazy
- 33:28Speaker 1: to me as it does to everybody else.
- 33:30Speaker 3: So the, the, the, the, they're setting them up to fail.
- 33:34Speaker 5: Hi.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Oh, I just don't understand why everybody thinks that the
- 33:38Speaker 1: world is against this rich kid. What are you talking about?
- 33:42Speaker 1: I don't understand the grand conspiracy against somebody who kind
- 33:49Speaker 1: of makes money for people if he gets out there.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I would think that they want him to be good,
- 33:53Speaker 1: if anything else. Now, look, Stefanski clearly does not believe,
- 33:56Speaker 1: and I do believe that Stefanski probably has an investment
- 33:59Speaker 1: in being right. I do this job. I fully understand
- 34:02Speaker 1: being invested and wanting to be correct, right? Like, I
- 34:05Speaker 1: know how that goes. But they started the season with
- 34:08Speaker 1: him as their fourth team quarterback. The fourth team quarterback
- 34:13Speaker 1: is not going to get reps with the starter. I
- 34:16Speaker 1: do not believe. He then comes into the year, and
- 34:18Speaker 1: he is the third team quarterback. Okay, I don't really
- 34:22Speaker 1: think that that player is going to get reps with
- 34:25Speaker 1: the starters. They traded Joe Flacco, and they made Dylan
- 34:28Speaker 1: Gabriel the starter. And that made Shador Sanders the second
- 34:32Speaker 1: stream quarterback. But the first stream quarterback is a rookie
- 34:35Speaker 1: who clearly needs reps. I'm not surprised that Shador does
- 34:41Speaker 1: not get reps under those circumstances. The bottom line is,
- 34:45Speaker 1: whether you think this is fair or right or not,
- 34:48Speaker 1: they don't think he's got a future.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Right. And they go to work with him every day.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. They don't believe it. I don't think
- 34:55Speaker 1: that they're trying to run him out of the league.
- 34:57Speaker 1: They don't think that there's a future in him. They
- 35:01Speaker 1: think there's a future in Dylan Gabriel. Now, I don't
- 35:04Speaker 1: think that there's a future in Dylan Gabriel, but for
- 35:07Speaker 1: whatever reason, they do. And so they are treating him
- 35:10Speaker 1: like there's a future. Basically, they're like, we need to
- 35:13Speaker 1: figure out what we got in Dylan Gabriel because otherwise
- 35:15Speaker 1: we got to go get a quarterback. There's nothing that
- 35:17Speaker 1: they believe that Shador Sanders can show them to make
- 35:20Speaker 1: them believe that, hey, maybe we don't need to go
- 35:21Speaker 1: draft a quarterback next year. We've got this guy. Now,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I would think that by now they would have learned
- 35:25Speaker 1: this also about Dylan Gabriel. And I think there's a
- 35:27Speaker 1: good chance that Shador starts next week, depending on what
- 35:30Speaker 1: kind of concussion Dylan Gabriel has. CJ Stroud's been out
- 35:33Speaker 1: for two weeks with a concussion, by the way. Like,
- 35:35Speaker 1: these things happen. Okay. But we've reached a point now
- 35:42Speaker 1: where I don't think he's, I don't think Shador's that good.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I don't think he's going to be that good. I
- 35:48Speaker 1: think it's obvious. But if you think he's going to
- 35:51Speaker 1: be good and then you see him and he doesn't
- 35:53Speaker 1: look good, is it always going to be, yeah, but?
- 35:58Speaker 1: Like at every turn, is this going to be, yeah, but?
- 36:00Speaker 1: And this idea that he of all people is this
- 36:03Speaker 1: aggrieved party that is being held back. He with the
- 36:07Speaker 1: beloved father... Right. Like it would be different if people
- 36:10Speaker 1: didn't like Dion.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Which is not the case.
- 36:12Speaker 1: People love Dion.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Right. And in part because Dion is a full on
- 36:17Speaker 1: devotee of football culture. Right. He is the he is
- 36:20Speaker 1: the ultimate promotion of what football can do for you
- 36:23Speaker 1: and everything else. But I don't buy this idea that
- 36:28Speaker 1: they're just that they just they try to keep their
- 36:31Speaker 1: jobs over there. They really, really, really trying to keep
- 36:35Speaker 1: their jobs over there. And it's not a guarantee. And
- 36:37Speaker 1: so I see no reason to chastise him for the
- 36:40Speaker 1: way that he played. It was always going to be
- 36:43Speaker 1: tough for him. I think that it would be wise
- 36:45Speaker 1: for the Browns, since they have nothing to play for,
- 36:48Speaker 1: and Dylan Gabriel's coming off a head injury, to go
- 36:50Speaker 1: ahead and give Shador a week. Let them play. Y'all
- 36:54Speaker 1: going to lose regardless. So that's your best argument, Shador Hive.
- 36:59Speaker 1: We sorry anyway. Why not have a good time?
- 37:04Speaker 3: They do play the Ravens next week, so they could
- 37:08Speaker 3: squeak out a win somehow, some way.
- 37:09Speaker 1: They could, but I'll tell you, the Ravens defense.
- 37:12Speaker 3: had the Ravens the Raiders the Raiders they played the Ravens.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Yeah that was I was just about to say damn
- 37:17Speaker 1: a home and home yeah but uh you're right they
- 37:20Speaker 1: could squeak out a win and maybe that's why they
- 37:22Speaker 1: don't want to place your door because again they might
- 37:24Speaker 1: have a Tebow situation on their hands they become afraid
- 37:27Speaker 1: but look if if if if if a short stack
- 37:31Speaker 1: got a head injury they go ahead and place your
- 37:35Speaker 1: door see see how it goes Y'all are probably going
- 37:39Speaker 1: to lose no matter what happens. Go ahead and see
- 37:41Speaker 1: how it goes. But I can't. I can't handle this.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I just can't handle this idea that somebody did something
- 37:50Speaker 1: to him or is consistently doing something to him. You
- 37:53Speaker 1: have to show me a lot more to show me that.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 1: All right.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Let's move to college football. Alabama lost to Oklahoma 23-21,
- 38:00Speaker 3: their second loss of the year. Bomani. Is Kalen DeBoer
- 38:05Speaker 3: coaching for his job in the Iron Bowl?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Hold on. Let's be clear.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:12Speaker 1: All right. Now, this is what I mean by that.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Is his job in danger? No. It's not in danger.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Because Auburn... is.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Bad very bad that is why another another place with
- 38:27Speaker 3: a substitute teacher.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah that's that's the other part they don't
- 38:31Speaker 1: have a coach either but that is why if they
- 38:33Speaker 1: lose this game yes there are giant problems this would
- 38:38Speaker 1: be like losing to the citadel this this this this
- 38:41Speaker 1: this this would be bad news for them I read a,
- 38:45Speaker 1: what's my man's name that works for the Alabama papers.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Casa Grande.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I just, I didn't read the article, but Casa Grande's
- 38:51Speaker 1: headline about the loss was that this is the dumbest
- 38:54Speaker 1: Alabama loss in years or something like that. And when
- 38:58Speaker 1: I saw that, I was like, oh yeah, this is Bama.
- 39:01Speaker 1: This is, this is what it is. You lost a
- 39:04Speaker 1: close game to a very good team. Shout out to you,
- 39:07Speaker 1: Brent Venables, because we were ready to run you off
- 39:09Speaker 1: of this job and say that you didn't have what
- 39:12Speaker 1: it took to get it done. And the truth is.
- 39:13Speaker 3: He may be the best hire of that group. I mean,
- 39:16Speaker 3: they were already running off Brian Kelly.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Lincoln Riley's about a dumb or two loss away from
- 39:22Speaker 3: being run out of USC. And, you know, like he's
- 39:26Speaker 3: got Oklahoma humming.
- 39:27Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Lincoln Riley's a dead man walking.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Because he don't know how to talk to people. Like
- 39:34Speaker 1: he's already doing bad press conferences, right? He's every time
- 39:37Speaker 1: somebody's rolling their eyes every time. And he's out here
- 39:40Speaker 1: doing Lane Kiffin stuff where they're dressing up the backup
- 39:43Speaker 1: quarterback in a putter uniform so they can run fakes
- 39:46Speaker 1: and put it on film.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Unserious.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Right, which Lane Kiffin did and we all said he
- 39:50Speaker 1: was unserious. Like we roundly, it wasn't long after that
- 39:54Speaker 1: that Lane got fired on the tarmac. I think it
- 39:56Speaker 1: was a different season, but. I did a video about
- 39:59Speaker 1: that and my question was who would do such a thing?
- 40:01Speaker 1: And the only answer was Lane Kiffin and now Lincoln
- 40:03Speaker 1: Riley is the guy who does these things. But Venables,
- 40:06Speaker 1: hey man, you know what Oklahoma looks like? They could
- 40:09Speaker 1: consistently be a 10-win team in the SEC. And I
- 40:13Speaker 1: think that that is dead in line with what should
- 40:15Speaker 1: have been expected when they joined this conference. Again, it
- 40:20Speaker 1: was one thing to be in the Big 8 slash
- 40:22Speaker 1: Big 12 where you have no actual built-in advantages. but
- 40:26Speaker 1: your Oklahoma and your level of want to could carry
- 40:29Speaker 1: you through to what you needed to do. It's different
- 40:32Speaker 1: where you sit on the second worst recruiting territory in
- 40:37Speaker 1: the entire conference. Like you tell me if I'm wrong,
- 40:41Speaker 1: I think Arkansas is the only school that really, well, Arkansas, Missouri.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Are the only schools sitting on worst territory.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Yes, I agree.
- 40:49Speaker 1: And you just beat Alabama in back-to-back seasons. Now, I'll
- 40:53Speaker 1: tell you this. You ain't going to lose to nobody
- 40:55Speaker 1: three times in a row, Caleb DuBois. If you make
- 40:58Speaker 1: it through this year, y'all don't go home in this year. Yeah, yeah. No, no, no.
- 41:02Speaker 1: What you're not about to do is have a bunch
- 41:04Speaker 1: of guys who leave school having never beat blank.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I don't care who the blank is. That's not going
- 41:10Speaker 1: to work.
- 41:10Speaker 3: That doesn't work in Tuscaloosa.
- 41:12Speaker 1: No.
- 41:13Speaker 3: All right. Sticking to the SEC, Texas A & M
- 41:16Speaker 3: Police had to remove a Texas State trooper From his
- 41:19Speaker 3: game assignment following an incident where he made physical contact
- 41:22Speaker 3: with two South Carolina players during and tunneled during the game. Bo,
- 41:28Speaker 3: you said you had an interesting observation about this.
- 41:30Speaker 1: First of all, I want to send a shout out
- 41:31Speaker 1: to my guy, Lawrence. Lawrence, who sent me a text,
- 41:34Speaker 1: you know, Saturday. Sometimes I take Saturdays off from college
- 41:37Speaker 1: football because, you know, daddy got to have a life, too.
- 41:40Speaker 1: You feel me? So anyway, I'm not watching. I get
- 41:43Speaker 1: a text from my man Lawrence. It was like, that's
- 41:45Speaker 1: the Texas A & M we all know. And I
- 41:47Speaker 1: look at the score and the score is 30 to
- 41:51Speaker 1: three in the third quarter. And I'm like, hell yeah, right?
- 41:57Speaker 1: Something told me, don't say nothing. Don't say nothing, right?
- 42:02Speaker 1: But in my head, I was thinking that it's too
- 42:04Speaker 1: late for A & M to be an eight win
- 42:07Speaker 1: team this year. So they just gonna need something to
- 42:09Speaker 1: happen to make them feel like an eight-win team, right?
- 42:13Speaker 1: En mi mente es, you know, que yo pensaba. And
- 42:20Speaker 1: they came back and won that game. So thanks for nothing, Lawrence. Like, really,
- 42:24Speaker 1: I can't possibly thank you less than... Anyway, in the
- 42:30Speaker 1: midst of this game, Tennessee had a player. I think
- 42:32Speaker 1: his name is Nick Harbour. Does that sound right, Ryan?
- 42:36Speaker 3: Yeah, that's who it is.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Nick Harbour. Okay, so Nick Harbour catches the touchdown. I
- 42:40Speaker 1: think this is to make it 23 to 3 or
- 42:43Speaker 1: something like that. But anyway, he gets touched out and
- 42:46Speaker 1: he runs into the tunnel. And the reason he runs
- 42:49Speaker 1: into the tunnel is because he's got a tweaked hamstring.
- 42:51Speaker 1: And so his partners run behind him to walk with him.
- 42:55Speaker 1: And so they start walking back. And as he's walking
- 42:57Speaker 1: back inexplicably, I think it was a cop, but you
- 43:00Speaker 1: can never tell with Texas A & M because they
- 43:01Speaker 1: got a pretend army. So it would not surprise me
- 43:06Speaker 1: if Texas A & M had a police club. You
- 43:08Speaker 1: know what I mean? Just just a bunch of kids,
- 43:10Speaker 1: maybe not even kids. They might be grown people like
- 43:12Speaker 1: the band who just dress up like police officers and
- 43:15Speaker 1: walk around with badges on. And they got a mascot
- 43:18Speaker 1: dog that they walk around totally on the board with
- 43:21Speaker 1: those weirdos. Anything is possible in College Station. Anything is
- 43:24Speaker 1: possible except for like a Democrat. But anyway, so. The
- 43:30Speaker 1: alleged policeman is walking up the tunnel. The South Carolina
- 43:35Speaker 1: players are walking back. And I don't know if the
- 43:38Speaker 1: policeman was just mad because them Aggies was losing, but
- 43:41Speaker 1: they did one of those like shoulder bumps, right? Where
- 43:43Speaker 1: you walk past each other and you bump into each
- 43:46Speaker 1: other with your shoulders. And the guy that's playing a
- 43:48Speaker 1: football team and has a tweaked hamstring and has on
- 43:51Speaker 1: a shoulder pad, he don't even really notice that this happens.
- 43:54Speaker 1: The cop, however, like turns around It was like a
- 43:58Speaker 1: two-edged shove, right? And so this happens. Everybody sees it.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Some account associated with those weirdos says that the, you know,
- 44:08Speaker 1: I think it's the actual police force said that that
- 44:11Speaker 1: officer will no longer have game day duties, right? He
- 44:14Speaker 1: would be relieved from his game day duties. People on
- 44:17Speaker 1: the internet was hot. Rod Clark had to go in
- 44:19Speaker 1: the confessional room and crank out a video about the
- 44:23Speaker 1: whole thing. Chipper Jones, of all people, He called that
- 44:29Speaker 1: policeman boy and that man is white. You ain't see that?
- 44:34Speaker 3: I did not see Kipper Jones. Oh, man.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Look that up right fast because I don't have the
- 44:40Speaker 1: Twitter logged on to this computer. And he says something
- 44:43Speaker 1: about like he really, really, really brought the hammer to
- 44:48Speaker 1: this police officer about this. I saw. Yeah, go and
- 44:52Speaker 1: read that.
- 44:54Speaker 3: This idiot needs to be unemployed tomorrow.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Clown.
- 44:57Speaker 3: This ain't a high school football game. Dot, dot, dot. Boy.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Yes.
- 45:04Speaker 3: I have to be honest. If Chipper Jones was calling somebody, boy,
- 45:09Speaker 3: I did not think this would be the person. Right.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I was terrified at first.
- 45:14Speaker 3: I assumed Chipper Jones had what I'd like to call
- 45:17Speaker 3: a Phil Mickelson timeline. Yes.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Yes. I mean, he might be. That's the thing about it.
- 45:24Speaker 1: This was a bipartisan issue. Everybody being so mad at
- 45:28Speaker 1: this police officer for bumping into this guy. And my
- 45:31Speaker 1: only question is, where is this fucking energy when they're
- 45:34Speaker 1: killing us? Like, we show people videos of police shooting
- 45:40Speaker 1: people in cold blood. And they're like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
- 45:44Speaker 1: He might appear for his life. You never know. I
- 45:46Speaker 1: have seen every excuse in the world for the police
- 45:49Speaker 1: actually shooting us. And nobody coming and standing beside us.
- 45:53Speaker 1: But a wide receiver from South Carolina gets bumped into
- 45:56Speaker 1: when everybody wants to write a letter to the manager?
- 46:00Speaker 1: Can somebody explain to me how this happened?
- 46:03Speaker 3: You're saying this is the one time they will actually
- 46:04Speaker 3: want to defund the police when they hit a football player?
- 46:07Speaker 1: I don't get this. This is mind-blowing to me. Like,
- 46:12Speaker 1: where we were 10, 12 years ago with everything else, right?
- 46:15Speaker 1: It got so bad, we stopped talking to y'all about
- 46:16Speaker 1: the police killing us because it became clear that y'all
- 46:19Speaker 1: didn't want to hear it no more. So what we
- 46:21Speaker 1: need now, if we can get some police reform, is
- 46:23Speaker 1: police bumping into people. Is that what we need? Right.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Do I need to go into the subway and just
- 46:29Speaker 1: have a policeman bump into my shoulder? And then all
- 46:31Speaker 1: of a sudden Zoran could be like, I told y'all
- 46:34Speaker 1: we need to defund them. You was right, Zoran. And
- 46:36Speaker 1: then we make some changes. Is that what it takes?
- 46:39Speaker 1: I just have no idea how this became the thing
- 46:41Speaker 1: that made everybody not like. I saw people mad about this.
- 46:46Speaker 1: You ain't say nothing about George Floyd. And by the way,
- 46:51Speaker 1: that one was pretty bipartisan too. This, however, was unanimous.
- 46:56Speaker 1: And it is your friendly reminder. People don't actually like
- 47:01Speaker 1: the police. Unless they are doing something for you in
- 47:07Speaker 1: that moment. People don't really like the police. They just,
- 47:15Speaker 1: I don't even want to finish that sentence because it'll
- 47:17Speaker 1: be so sad.
- 47:23Speaker 3: All right, voicemail lines open. Got a couple good ones.
- 47:26Speaker 3: I think you'll like this first one. Hey, Bomani.
- 47:32Speaker 5: Just wanted to ask this quick, well, two questions, actually.
- 47:37Speaker 5: I'll make it pretty quick and easy here. First, after
- 47:40Speaker 5: watching the Atlanta Falcons once again give up yet another,
- 47:46Speaker 5: another crushing defeat at home, my question was, not necessarily
- 47:55Speaker 5: when you realize or was it was it just a
- 47:58Speaker 5: collage of uh events that happened that finally made you
- 48:02Speaker 5: get out that narcotic or was there one specific event
- 48:05Speaker 5: that you were just like look i can't do this
- 48:07Speaker 5: anymore that that's enough um and my second question was
- 48:11Speaker 5: have you ever considered like you know how for the
- 48:14Speaker 5: people that be on the uh you know these these
- 48:18Speaker 5: uh These websites where you gamble, right? And there's this hope.
- 48:23Speaker 5: And why have you ever considered opening up a line
- 48:25Speaker 5: for Atlanta Falcons fans to get off that narcotic, you know,
- 48:30Speaker 5: to be able to talk to somebody that, you know,
- 48:32Speaker 5: has been through the struggles and the ills and all
- 48:35Speaker 5: that jazz of being a devoted Falcons fan and deciding
- 48:40Speaker 5: that this should be enough? Have you ever considered that?
- 48:44Speaker 5: And is that something that you have thought about putting together?
- 48:48Speaker 5: I don't know why I'm taking shots at the Atlanta
- 48:49Speaker 5: Falcons fans. I'm a Bears fan, which is kind of funny.
- 48:51Speaker 5: But anyway, has that been something that you ever thought about? Thanks,
- 48:56Speaker 5: and always been a fan of the show.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Bye.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Was there a single event? The quarterback went to jail
- 49:08Speaker 1: for fighting dogs. They replaced him with Joey Harrington. Fighting dogs.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Was there an event fighting dogs? And you're like, would
- 49:28Speaker 1: you start up a helpline for the Atlanta Falcons fans? Son,
- 49:33Speaker 1: I don't hang out with losers. Like at this point,
- 49:36Speaker 1: that's a choice.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Call 877-L-O-S-E-R. Yeah. Yeah.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Like you keep doing that right there. That's a choice.
- 49:46Speaker 1: You know, I can't, I can't help you. You ain't
- 49:48Speaker 1: looking for help. You want to feel like a, you
- 49:51Speaker 1: just want to lose. You're going to do that without me.
- 49:54Speaker 2: All right.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Here's our next one. Hey, Bo.
- 49:58Speaker 5: It's E from the DMV. I've got a music question
- 50:00Speaker 5: for you.
- 50:01Speaker 3: So we've heard you say KRS is the best rapper ever.
- 50:05Speaker 3: OutKast is the best group.
- 50:07Speaker 5: And I believe your favorite group. And B.O.B.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Is the best single.
- 50:12Speaker 5: So what do you think the best rap.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Album ever is?
- 50:17Speaker 5: And who is your favorite solo rapper and your favorite
- 50:20Speaker 5: album ever?
- 50:22Speaker 3: Thanks, man.
- 50:22Speaker 5: Appreciate it.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Goddamn, did he say and an album cover too?
- 50:26Speaker 3: I think it was single and album. Okay.
- 50:30Speaker 1: All right, so it's a single, solo MC.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Solo MC and then album.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Okay so the greatest album is the one i don't
- 50:40Speaker 1: have a great answer for that's harder than anything.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Else for me yeah where do you where do you
- 50:44Speaker 3: even start i.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Mean if you go like i can give you a
- 50:49Speaker 1: handful like we're kind of ballparking in it so public
- 50:54Speaker 1: enemy it takes a nation of millions to hold us
- 50:55Speaker 1: back like that's on the list the chronic that's on
- 51:00Speaker 1: the list um I actually don't put like Illmatic, Ready
- 51:05Speaker 1: to Die, that run. That's not on my greatest of
- 51:08Speaker 1: all time, like perhaps list. Scarface, The Fix, that for
- 51:12Speaker 1: me is on the list. It has potential. Outkast, Equemini,
- 51:17Speaker 1: it's on the list, right? It can be there. There's
- 51:20Speaker 1: so many, like we're working on a series right now
- 51:23Speaker 1: on Great Year in Rap 1996. It's so many albums
- 51:27Speaker 1: to go through just off of that list to try
- 51:29Speaker 1: to come up with number, to just come up with
- 51:31Speaker 1: one is like borderline impossible it's so hard to do
- 51:37Speaker 1: now let's just say he did say album cover i
- 51:40Speaker 1: don't know if it's the greatest but i know the
- 51:42Speaker 1: most unforgettable one uh that's old dirty bastard returned to
- 51:46Speaker 1: the 36 chambers with the picture of him on the
- 51:47Speaker 1: food stamp card it's uh it's tough to beat that
- 51:51Speaker 1: one there's also um shout out to mercedes i don't
- 51:56Speaker 1: know if it's the greatest but We'll always remember it,
- 51:59Speaker 1: even if we never listen to that record. And so
- 52:02Speaker 1: for those of you who don't know, I'm going to
- 52:03Speaker 1: tell the story for you youngsters.
- 52:04Speaker 3: OK.
- 52:06Speaker 1: So when No Limit was popping, the thing about No
- 52:08Speaker 1: Limit was they advertised crazy heavy. And so there would
- 52:11Speaker 1: always be a bunch of ads in the source and
- 52:15Speaker 1: in the album covers of No Limit. They would always
- 52:17Speaker 1: have album covers of like albums that was coming soon.
- 52:20Speaker 1: But it was clear that those albums had not been conceptualized.
- 52:25Speaker 1: They just had a cover and a title. That's all
- 52:28Speaker 1: they had come up with. And so they had this
- 52:31Speaker 1: woman named Mercedes. And Mercedes had an album cover standing
- 52:38Speaker 1: in front of a Mercedes with some very, very short shorts.
- 52:42Speaker 1: And she was bent over and the title was Rear End.
- 52:47Speaker 1: And they teased that Mercedes album for years and years
- 52:53Speaker 1: and years. Now let's see, did that album ever, it
- 52:58Speaker 1: actually did come out. But I feel like they kept
- 53:02Speaker 1: promoting it well after it actually came out.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Some movies you gotta sell off the poster, you know?
- 53:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all it was. That's all it was. That
- 53:11Speaker 1: was the whole thing. So that is, that's the most
- 53:14Speaker 1: memorable album cover of all time. That I will tell you.
- 53:17Speaker 1: And I am looking at the titles of these songs
- 53:19Speaker 1: and it is very clear what time it was for
- 53:22Speaker 1: Mercedes rear end. Um, yeah.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 53:30Speaker 3: My bad. All right. Here's our last one.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Hey, what's going on? This is Matt from OKC. So
- 53:37Speaker 2: I wanted to leave a message about the time you
- 53:40Speaker 2: tried to.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Test your dad.
- 53:42Speaker 2: This is back in 1998. I was 16 years old
- 53:48Speaker 2: and my dad had retired from the military. So, you know,
- 53:53Speaker 2: he's got some gray hairs and stuff. starting to look
- 53:55Speaker 2: a little older. I'm taller than him at this point.
- 53:58Speaker 2: I'm like six foot. He's about 5'10. But he's 200
- 54:02Speaker 2: and I'm 130. So a little weight discrepancy. Anyhow, we
- 54:10Speaker 2: had gotten into an argument about something or other and I.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Was feeling froggy.
- 54:17Speaker 2: I was like, man, this is my time. So after
- 54:20Speaker 2: he retired from the military, he became a juvenile detention officer.
- 54:24Speaker 2: So he knew a bunch of holds and wrist locks
- 54:27Speaker 2: and all this stuff, which at 16, I didn't really
- 54:33Speaker 2: account for before I made this decision. But anyhow, we
- 54:37Speaker 2: had gotten to arguing about something. So I went to
- 54:42Speaker 2: push him, right? And I didn't even complete the push.
- 54:50Speaker 2: By the time I had made contact with his chest,
- 54:54Speaker 2: The next thing I knew I was facing the other
- 54:56Speaker 2: direction and my feet were off the ground. I remember
- 55:01Speaker 2: he's 5'10 and I'm six foot. Now we're about the
- 55:04Speaker 2: same age. I'm 44. So what had happened and I
- 55:09Speaker 2: didn't even realize it. He turned me around and put
- 55:12Speaker 2: me like in a rear naked choke.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Back then this was before UFC.
- 55:18Speaker 5: So there was no.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Protocol on what to do. I didn't know to fight
- 55:21Speaker 2: the hands. I didn't even know what a tap was.
- 55:25Speaker 2: So I'm just there and can't do nothing about it.
- 55:29Speaker 2: So I start to see stars.
- 55:32Speaker 3: And I go out.
- 55:34Speaker 2: The next thing I remember is being on the floor
- 55:40Speaker 2: curled up like fried shrimp trying to figure out what happened.
- 55:45Speaker 2: And I look up And my dad standing on top
- 55:49Speaker 2: of me. Now, keep in mind, he's black.
- 55:54Speaker 3: And I'm mixed.
- 55:56Speaker 2: And he said to me, if you ever try that
- 56:00Speaker 2: light skin shit again, you won't wake up.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Yeah, man.
- 56:06Speaker 2: So that's the time I tried to test my dad.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Special shout out to your mom out here in OKC.
- 56:10Speaker 2: She sounds like a real one. Glad that the city
- 56:14Speaker 2: was able to honor her.
- 56:15Speaker 3: All right, man.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Love the show.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Peace.
- 56:20Speaker 4: That man said there wasn't even UFC. There was no
- 56:25Speaker 4: protocol on what to do. That's a fair point.
- 56:33Speaker 3: You had to learn the hard way what the protocol was.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Your pops even entered into it with
- 56:38Speaker 1: a dollop of that self-hate. You try that light-skinned shit
- 56:41Speaker 1: with me. Oh, man.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Can you imagine getting out of the military and deciding
- 56:46Speaker 3: I'm going to go Work at a juvenile detention center.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Hey, man, that is like I have nothing to that.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that is.
- 56:55Speaker 1: So I think so. This is the thing about a
- 56:57Speaker 1: juvenile detention center. I think about it as a place
- 56:59Speaker 1: to work. I do kind of feel like as a
- 57:01Speaker 1: grown up. What do you have to fear? You know
- 57:05Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Like, like these are a bunch of kids.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I don't care how bad you think you are.
- 57:10Speaker 3: But that is a backtalk university though.
- 57:13Speaker 1: That is all that is. What are these kids going
- 57:17Speaker 1: to do? Talk back to me. Right?
- 57:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You can push your mama around. All right. But you can't. Nah,
- 57:24Speaker 1: not me. But ladies and gentlemen, Thanks so much for
