- 0:07I'm Kelly Siegel, and this is Harder Than Life, a podcast about self-love, self-awareness, business, and health. We tell outrageous stories and boil everything down to simple, practical advice you can start using today. Let's get living.
- 0:23Today on the 100 Life Podcast, we're diving in the world of intuition, dividing guidance, and personal transformation with none other than Emily Rivera, the angel coach. Emily's made it her mission to help guide, help people find clarity and purpose by connecting with their higher selves. And she's here to share how we can get all a little closer to our best selves with some laughs along the way. Welcome, Emily. Emily.
- 0:50Hi, I am so excited to be here. Thank you for this amazing opportunity. No, thanks for coming on. I'm going to start this off with, if you don't believe in God, source, energy, spirits, ghosts, this might not be the podcast for you, but I'm going to kick it off with my experience with Emily in person live. And I was sitting front row while she was giving a speech and she...
- 1:16Never met me before in her life. And I thought popped in my head and she just looked over while on stage and said,
- 1:24The angels are telling me to tell you this, and I can't quite remember what it was. And I went, what? And I was thinking that thought, which was unrelated to anything we were talking about or had ever discussed, was exactly what I was thinking. So it made a believer out of me. We're going to talk all about this. So can you tell us how the angel coach came to be and what inspired you to start this journey?
- 1:51So great question. If it's okay, I will also, if it's okay with you, I will also respond as I'm carrying guidance. Is that okay? During our conversation. So even if you're not a believer, I know he said this may not be the show for you. If you're not a believer of certain things, I am inviting you, even if you're not a believer to just lean in. Because part of what I get to do is that I get to see more of what's possible in our reality that goes beyond the physical.
- 2:21experience. It's just our human has learned to filter it out. So it's not anything connected with the idea of...
- 2:29like God or spirituality or ghosts or anything like that. But it's just more about understanding what else is available to us beyond the physical reality so that we can dance better, so that we can laugh more, so that we can enjoy life in a way that we really ultimately all crave to step into. So I wanted to start with that. Even if you're not a believer, my intention is not to convert you, but to just help you to know that there's other options available beyond what you've known before that are going to be very fulfilling if you choose to lean in.
- 3:00All right, Kelly. So you asked a question and I apologize. Can you repeat it one more time so that I can go ahead and make sure I address it the best way possible? How did the angel coach come about and what inspired you to start the journey? Now I will tell people they can head over to the angel coach.com and read all about it. And I did, and it was fascinating, but I want to hear it directly from your words. How did you start and, and, um, what inspired you to start?
- 3:27So I will say it started since I was a little girl. So my first memory, I was around four or five and there was a beautiful presence of light sitting in the bed teaching me. Now, this is not just one time. It continued throughout my whole life where what I call now a manifestation of love was really teaching me. And the message that kept being taught or shared or inspired is that it was my role to remember.
- 3:51Now, one of the reasons I was here is to make sure that I didn't forget, forget that I was more than human, that we were all more than human, and that ultimately life is really trying to help us wake up to that reality, but also get the experience that can occur if we choose to open up to that thought idea and that possibility. So it started since I was a little girl. The term, the angel coach, was actually something that was given to me.
- 4:17When I first started my business, it started with living to inspire. That's what The Voice encouraged me to step into. And I did events and things like that, focused on the idea of living to inspire. But then it evolved and the angels showed up and said, it's time for you to
- 4:32Call yourself the angel coach. So that's what I've stepped into. Now, why the angel coach? Because the angel coach is the understanding that when I'm meeting with someone, when I'm doing an event, when I'm having these conversations, yes, you're going to see me, but that there is more that is in the conversation.
- 4:48There's more that is communicating and expressing the message, right? So there is coaching that's taking place, but it goes beyond my human logic. And there's something greater that is going to be speaking, guiding, supporting the experience, which is why so many people...
- 5:05may call it miracles or transcendent or, you know, it's like, how could that even happen? Like you said, how the heck does she answer my thought and my question? Because it wasn't just me on that stage, right? There was angels that were really coaching. That's why the angel coach, right? So I'm showing up as an expression that goes beyond my physical self.
- 5:26Great answer. I automatically deviating from questions and going right into, I find it ironic or that manifestation of love and living to inspire. So love and inspiration, inspire love. And we're talking about angels. Just walk with me on this a little bit. Why love? So if you want more inspiration and more love in your life, how do we release and surrender to allow angels to guide us?
- 5:56So you know what's interesting, what I'm audibly hearing to say, right? The illusion of wanting more inspiration and more love is the illusion. Because how can we want something we already are?
- 6:09We are already walking portals of inspiration. We are already walking portals of love. And it's about how do we get to a place that we get to witness more of the truth of who we are versus what we've been pretending to be. Because in so many ways, life has curated certain experiences that have been favorable to that remembering, but there's also a lot of things that happen in this human experience that unintentionally are helping us to actually forget so that we can experience the magic
- 6:38the joy, the overflow that can occur in our remembering. So when we think about like, you know, how, how do we add inspiration and more love? Well, you,
- 6:48That's great and wonderful, right? So how do we activate or how do we create habits in our life that can help us remember more of the truth that we are already that inspiration and that love? Because we all know that whenever we're seeking something and experiencing those two intentions, let's say, based on what's out here, there's a sense of, how do you want me to call that?
- 7:13There's a sense of thirstiness or even despair that can happen when those external things can't be offering it to us consistently. But when we get to that place where we can honestly and truly, thank you, they're showing me a fountain, that idea that we are the actual walking fountains that embody the inspiration and the love, the more we can actually experience that, the easier we get triggered into love, into inspiration, into joy, into letting it go, into...
- 7:44ultimately experiencing more of the joy that again, we're craving when we're seeking the love and the inspiration.
- 7:51So good already. Seven minutes in. If you're not following me on YouTube, head over to Heart of the Life on YouTube and subscribe and look at her beautiness and you can see how amazing she is. And you'll catch this a little bit better. So subscribe over to YouTube and you get these awesomeness. I can't believe I get to do this. So the, I keep, now something's talking to me and I don't know what it is. Maybe it's an angel, maybe it's God, maybe it's the other one. But it says to me, it's like,
- 8:20That's how I made you. That's what kept coming to me. If you look at the Bible, it says you're made in the image and likeness of God. And then if you're really religious, it's Jesus. Is there a correlation there that the angels, but they seem to be non-denominational?
- 8:40So great question. And there's a lot in here that they're showing me as we're talking. So that's a great question. So my history, my background, I grew up Catholic. So I'm, you know, that's what I grew up with. I went to church. I was very much involved in Christianity. That's just been my history and my past. Now.
- 9:02So they're telling me I have to talk about two things, if you can help me, Kelly, to remember this. One is the gap between where we're at and the grace of what will carry us into where we want to go. So they're telling me to go back to that later, if you can help me remember. So in my life and in my journey, so I've been getting vision. So since a little girl helping people, hearing stuff, what they needed to hear, what I was being encouraged to say to help someone.
- 9:32Now, all this carried me throughout my whole life. It shared with me where I was going to go to college, when I was going to get married, when I was going to have a child. I was shown so many qualities about the magic and surrendering and being guided and how beautiful it can be through that experience. Now, that doesn't mean I didn't have my moments because we all do. We're destined to have our moments because that's part of the gift. Now, when my first daughter was born, she was born with a lot, a lot of disabilities. Right?
- 10:01I didn't know how extreme they were or to what extent we would be diving into when it came through challenges, moving through challenges. But it was during that time that I went through my forgetting. So what happened? My idea of what God was, my idea of Christianity, my idea of
- 10:19even just religion started to expand. And it wasn't because it was limiting, not at all. It was because there was more that needed to awaken within me to understand what was possible when I thought of the idea of God and what else was trying to evolve within the circumstances or the challenges. So my daughter spent most of her days in the hospital.
- 10:41And it was during that time, I honestly thought I was going to lose her and she was going to make it another day. And that was very challenging. But I got to a point in my journey in which I knew that the only way I could save her is to remember once again, my gifts, because during that time, my brain, which happened to all of us, by the way, my brain went into survival. So my brain switched into a survival stage, which had me unplugged from literally a system that was already pre-informed.
- 11:09designed within my human self to be able to communicate and connect to spirit, to God, to source, just as you two, you and everyone, everyone else listening already has that designed inside of them. You know, that which was already inside of me got shut down like a switch. It just got turned off because I went into my survival brain to pretty much survive through the circumstances, but also what I felt helped my daughter survive. So,
- 11:36So we all go through our forgetting. All of us are destined to. And the irony is that that forgetting is the biggest gift that we go through in our human experience. Because in our forgetting, which is probably when we're going to introduce this gap thing, we get to remember that we took our first breath knowing and understanding that we weren't meant to do life alone.
- 12:02We weren't meant to. But what happens, things unfold in our journey that has us believing I am doing it on my own. And there's so many things that are happening in our external that are trying to tell us that we're separate. So the forgetting is part of the journey and the process so that we can actually get to a place, whenever it's meant to happen for each of us,
- 12:24Yes, and they're saying it can happen more than once. Where we get into that place of forgetting, which puts us into a space of surrender so that we can open up to the grace. So we can really see what life is truly capable of becoming beyond our limitations.
- 12:40Because when that kind of force and energy and presence is welcomed into your experience, it's inevitable for life to climb to the next level, to the 10x, right? To the millionx, if you want to play with that concept and idea.
- 12:55So in my forgetting and within that experience with my daughter is that I knew that the only way I could savor was to remember my gifts, to go back to my gifts, to go back to God, to go back to what it is that got me into the experience of the flow that I once enjoyed in my journey.
- 13:15So within that searching, let's say, Kelly, during that rediscovery, during my remembering, what I got to understand as God to be and universe to be and source to be and soul to be expanded.
- 13:28And it was part of what I needed to step into to get to the place that I am today, which is my ability to serve more than just a few people. You know, a lot of times we think that we're growing for ourselves, for our goals, for our mission, for our vision. You know, even with this beautiful show that you have here, it's not just about you. Every time you step up and do these calls, you are expanding to someone that hasn't yet been met by your human mind. What I mean by someone is that there's another you that's waiting on the other side saying,
- 13:58This conversation is going to open you up more to this because every time we open up to the next level, to the next stage, do you want me to keep saying stage? To the next stage, what happens and unfolds is that you embody the divinity or the limitless expression of what we can call God in life.
- 14:20in its truest form. So again, in my forgetting and in my remembering with my daughter, I got to see things happen in my life that were very sci-fi.
- 14:30sci-fi because it was definitely not ordinary nor even logically possible or scientifically possible with some of the things that I got to see when it came to her medical extremes and emergencies and her coming out of it in many, many repetitive circumstances that repeated and anchored once again, that there's more to life than these bodies. Um, and going back to the gap, thank you. And I know I'm probably going left and right here, Kelly. So I apologize. Um,
- 14:59No, I'm following you. As a matter of fact, if you guys are watching this on YouTube and you're looking at my face and I've just got this, no, I'm intently listening because it's fascinating to me. I'm going to respond even deeper about gifts after your message. I want to hear, I'm very interested to see exactly what the gap is. So...
- 15:21you know, there is a distinction. Thank you. How do you want me to say that? They're saying there's a distinction and a recognition that we all must get to in the human body. And it's interesting because I think I better found the language through a mentor as I heard him describe it. So I want to make sure I give him appreciation for that and recognition is that
- 15:45we all get to a place where we recognize that we aren't enough. We aren't enough. And I know it's hard because when we think about the growth, you know, and the self-development and all this motivation, I am enough, I got this. You know, it's like, I'm greatness, I'm power, I'm unstoppable. Like all these things that we're owning, there has to be a place where we understand that we are not enough. Our human, the human that is us is incapable of getting to this leap.
- 16:12But the reason that happens and the reason we all have to get there in our own perfect timing is because it opens us and it pulls us into this beautiful line. And it's like in that line, when we get to that, literally it's like we get to it and we're like about to step over and we're right there. When we get there, it puts us into a place and space that helps us to understand that we're not here alone. We're not meant to do it alone.
- 16:39Because whatever it is we're going through, whatever breakthroughs we're moving through, whatever successes we're stepping into, whatever delivery we are awakening with our reality, whatever millions we're making, whatever impact we're making, it's not just helping us. It's helping all of us. And when we get into that place where we know we're not doing life alone, we're at least open to the possibility, okay, I can't do it on my own. I need help. And when we open up to that, what happens is that we activate this beautiful,
- 17:08Grace, right? We activate grace. We activate this beautiful, how do you want me to describe that? They're showing me a mist. Let's play with the idea of like some people may call it the Holy Spirit. Some people may call it life force. Some people may call it energy. Some people may call it synchronicities or miracles. But we activate this magic, this magic that isn't fully accessible within our human life.
- 17:36And when we activate this magic, that's when we see quantum leaps. That's when we see miracles because we open up to this very soft surrender. And I say soft because a lot of times you don't even realize that we're stepping into surrender.
- 17:52And we step into this experience of surrender, which opens up a portal for grace to move, take over and carry us into the other side. Every person who's made it big, every person we admire, everyone has a story of grace, right? They ran into the right person. They were in the right room. You know, they took the right step. They thought they were doing something and ended up being something else. All of us are destined to have our stories of grace.
- 18:20Because again, they help us to understand that again, it's not being done alone. So I understand the gap to be when you see the grace, feel the grace, establish a surrender. And that's the point between doing that and allowing is the gap. So how do you want me to explain this? Thank you.
- 18:53The irony is, is that we're not even at times consciously recognizing we're opening up to grace. What they're wanting me... I don't think that's an irony. I think that's the biggest thing. I think not only do we not open up, I think we deny it. It's happening. Yes. Yes. And they're showing me a vision. Thank you. And they're showing me a vision. So let's play with this idea, right? That...
- 19:22Kelly or I, right? Or we're walking up to the line. We've done so much. We're working, we're doing this, we're hustling, we're making all these things happen. And then we've realized that we've somehow hit a glass ceiling and we keep hitting that glass ceiling. It's like, no matter what we're doing, no matter what we're making happen, it's like, we're not breaking through. And if we're breaking through, we're still finding ourselves feeling empty, feeling overwhelmed,
- 19:48uncertain stock, like we hit that wall. And what they're trying to say is that when we get to that moment, which is part of the gift of the human, when we get to that moment, there's a part of us that
- 20:02we inevitably take a sigh like, I can't do it anymore. Or we take a sigh like, I need help. We all take that deep sigh. It's not just a physical sigh, it's a deeper sigh of like, I can't do this anymore. And what can happen there? What can happen there? And in that moment, whether you're consciously
- 20:27which I recommend you ask for help. When you ask for the help, it'll be seen easier by your human mind. But it's in that sigh that we open up, we make an opening. An opening takes place. When that opening takes place, we orchestrate, unconsciously, unconsciously, orchestrate, and I'm saying, they want me to say consciously, I would think it's more unconsciously, right? We open up a little gap in which movement can happen from your soul.
- 20:56Grace can come in from something greater and can give you, can give you at least one key, one key that you need to decide if you're going to take so that grace can take you further.
- 21:13Uh, there are no coincidences. I am right there right now. We're going to try to unpack this in a minute, but I, I want to talk about gifts because I heard that over and over this weekend in, I was with John Maxwell, not the name drop. And he was talking about what you do with your gifts that God gave you because people call that, Oh, that's my talent. No, no, no. That's a gift or I'm really good at communicating. No, that's God's gift. It's what you do with it to give back to the world that enables you to have the life in alignment and, and your, uh,
- 21:42gifts of receiving these angels words are fantastic. So I want to invite everybody to go over to the angel coach.com, follow Emily at the angel coach. It's at Emily, the angel coach on Instagram and, and,
- 21:59Watch her go through and share these gifts. She has very many programs that she can offer you. It's wild. She's a high achiever, making great money, doing great things with said gifts. So I'm going to skip over to something and then I want to go back and I'm going to ask you for the help because it's very, there's no coincidence that you reached out to me and that today was the day and I didn't have any doing with it.
- 22:25I am overwhelmed, underslept. I'm in a big change, big questions, but we're going to jump into that and let you do your thing on me after a minute. I want to say, who has been the most significant influence in your life on your path to becoming the angel coach? Because in 2019, you lost your best friend, your father, your sister, all in nine months. Like, what the heck was going on?
- 22:51Who led into the what? Which is most people would have just shriveled and then great. Right after 2019, guess what happened in 2020? That dreaded freaking pandemic. So you had a run that wasn't good. Most people would have packed it in. Who was there with you besides these angels, besides God? Who was there? We all know that physical people are with us. You're never alone.
- 23:18Success has helped. I like to say that when I started my heart and life crusade, I had help or I was alone, but that wasn't true. People were calling and checking on me. And then entire time now that I've become one with God. And I like to joke around, say I'm the chosen one because Jesus was a Jew. I'm a Jew. And I swear somebody's talking to me. I'm in this exact phase where you're at right now. We're going to unpack it right here on air. And I'm going to tell you, I need help. But who was there for you?
- 23:45So that is a wonderful question. And I'm trying to identify where to start because when you were talking, they were showing me different visions. So I'm trying to identify where to start. And there's two truths that I feel that angels have invited me my whole life to make sure I remember. One is that everything must change. Change is inevitable. We all know that we hear that all the time.
- 24:15but it's actually the most beautiful thing for us to embrace. Because first, if we're going through challenges, we can lean into the celebration that inevitably this is going to change. What direction it's going to go is up to me. So inevitably everything's going to change. We go into it state of suffering, right? When we believe that there's no way out, that this is how it's going to be forever. But even that, that's a lie. That's a lie, right? Change was always inevitable. Right.
- 24:46So within that clarity and understanding is that first, if I'm feeling stuck, I can celebrate that this is going to change. How long is it going to take to change? It's up to me. I want to do a public service announcement right there because I just feel compelled to say this. Just stop for just two seconds because she said that people, when you're stuck and you feel like there's no place out, that tends to be where people think suicidal thoughts. So I want, if you think that there is no other way.
- 25:11I want you, A, reach out to Emily, reach out to me. I will show you another way. But then I invite you to listen to what she's about to say right now because this is the way out. So sorry, I just felt called to say that because there's been a lot...
- 25:27of suicide out there lately. I think we just left national mental awareness month. I think that was last month, but I just always want people to understand that there is a way out there. And I know when you're in that feeling, you feel like there isn't. So, so stop. And then if I'm thinking there's no way out, pick up where you left off. And I apologize for interrupting. It felt like, no, it's perfect. It's perfect. And yes, I, please, anybody who's struggling and in
- 25:59It's funny. I want to say something else, but they're telling me to say one more thing since you just said that. If you are struggling at times, you know, our energy states, let's play with this thought. When we're here, it's going to be very hard to sometimes believe that change is coming. It's very hard.
- 26:20And we try, we force ourself. We're like, we go into blaming, like, or shaming, or I shouldn't feel this way, or how am I going to get out of this? And like, we go into all these self-evaluations that are proving to us why we need to stay here and why things are going to stay the same.
- 26:36So the best thing to do when that happens is like, what can you actively pursue to get you out of your current environment? Don't focus on changing your mood. Don't focus on changing your thoughts. Focus on changing your environment. Start there. So whether it's walking down the street, whether it's sitting at the park, whether it's going dancing somewhere, just change your environment because the environment will work with you and activating different thoughts. Yeah.
- 27:04the environment will work with you activating a different emotion.
- 27:09And then when that happens, the train into a better state is a lot easier to jump on because the environment is cultivating the change. But if you're trying to do it in the same environment that you've been in for a while, that is in some way consciously and unconsciously helping that emotion thrive, that illusion thrive, that fear thrive, then it's going to be very hard to try to get you to another state.
- 27:36So changing the environment is the first thing that I would recommend. And when you change your environment, reach out to one of us or reach out to someone that can help you. Because again, moving outside of that state is a lot easier, but you won't see the ease of it until you just find a way to at least get yourself out of the environment. That's one thing they were wanting me to add to that. I need, I need help. And it's weird because I know that,
- 28:02that I got another level. I know that there's more. I know that change is coming and I'm so excited, but I don't know what the path is. So I'm doing the exact same thing by surrendering and I'm changing my environment, going down to my Florida home this week and I'm just going to chill
- 28:17and let it all happen. It's just the complete opposite of what most people feel, but I'm kind of a weirdo. So I wanna ask you a specific question because you have private sessions, you do coaching, you have this sacred garden, which is a transformational sisterhood that nurtures women's spiritual growth, intuition, and personal healing, and you guide them to align to their true feminine power and supportive community. That sounds amazing. And you're here and you do it with me.
- 28:47But having said, I shouldn't say but, but in addition to how do you help these clients connect with their higher selves and what's been one of the most rewarding transformations you've witnessed? Oh my gosh, there's so much in that. Um, yeah.
- 29:02There's several. So it's hard because remember I said that they're talking as you're talking. So I'm trying to kind of guide my human to make sure that I answer the questions you're asking because I know sometimes we're kind of going this way. So I apologize. Take all the time you need. One of my – actually, there's two stories that I will share. But before I do that, I need to make sure I speak about the identity real quick if that's okay. Are you okay with that? Of course. So what happens – remember how we said we get to that line?
- 29:32to that line. It's like play with the concept that we are offered micro moments and macro moments that are offering the opportunity for a death to occur, a death of the self, a death of an identity that just took you to today. A lot of times we forget in the human that there is, there is something bigger, greater that is not out there to tease you. It's bit, I like to say anointing
- 30:03We all have been given anointings. We have anointings inside of us waiting to wake up. It's not one thing or two things. It's multiple things. It's the evolution of the human experience. We are blessed with multiple anointings. But what happens? The anointing, the key, the magic wand can't be accessed until we're willing to let go of whatever identity got us to today.
- 30:32And when we get to that line, what I was saying about that grace, right? It's like we must understand that an old us must die, right?
- 30:42There's nothing wrong with that. And I know the idea of death feels intimidating. And unfortunately, we've been taught also in the mainstream, it's got to be so hard. Letting go is hard. You know, it's like you got to go through the trenches. You got to push. You got to fight. You got to hustle. Yes, that's one way you can move through it. But there's another side to that, which is why we talked about grace.
- 31:06That identity has to get so uncomfortable in which you need to decide a woman in her queen, a woman in his king, depending, you know, which way you want to look at it. It's like, OK, I this ends here.
- 31:17This ends here, this identity ends here, this reality ends here, because in that letting go, we get to step into, again, this unfoldment that moves through us, which wakes up more of our anointings so that we can get there. One of the things the angels say to me, which Kelly, just to share with you, it's like, if it's been seated, it's been given.
- 31:40If you have a vision of something bigger, if you know something stirring inside of you as a man, as a leader in your mission, in your vision, what it is you're here to do, that wasn't given to you just to inspire you. That was given to you because you've seen already what is already done. It's done.
- 31:59Now it's about understanding that the identity of who you've been does not yet have all the anointings turned on to the level for who will be that man living that life, delivering that impact. You're going to get there. It's inevitable. It's so inevitable, right? Like even that is like, it's such a beautiful thing to consider. It won't be missed. But-
- 32:27It's an invitation, right? It's their same proclamation. It's an interesting way that they're telling me it's a proclamation. So not just an invitation, it's a proclamation. So it's an invitation for something greater, inviting you to come. But it's also a proclamation. Like I claim this for myself. Right.
- 32:44I claim the ownership of this identity that has all of this already woken up and understanding that life is going to deliver. And I know we get very frustrated with challenges, with things that seem unfair. You know, my family passing, you know, the challenges I was going through. All of that happened so that I, it wasn't even personal. And I think that's what's hard too. Sometimes we make so many things in life personal. Well, no, that's just life.
- 33:14That's just life. And that can take us into another conversation about exit points in our souls. But again, that's just life. That's the journey my dad chose, my stepsister chose, and my best friend. My experience of it, yes, it's personal, but life happening wasn't personal.
- 33:38And ironically, ironically, my dad, my stepsister, my best friend on a soul level, we all were like talking and celebrating. Oh my gosh, when this happens, when this happens, when this happens and you're struggling because of us leaving, when you're going through all of this, this is the chance for you to wake up more of your anointing. This is the chance for you to wake up more into your becoming because what's going to be on the other side is much greater. It's much greater. And we're doing this with you.
- 34:08So when all of that was happening, that doesn't mean I was butterflies and rainbows because one of the things that happened during that, I don't know if I had that on the description, I had a heart attack in 2019. I wasn't taking care of my own space enough. I was literally mourning. I was struggling emotionally with the pain, but still showing up. And because I wasn't taking time to be with me, right, right?
- 34:35to be with me, my body, and this is another thing, my body loved me so much. Our bodies love us so much that it will get loud when we're not paying attention. And my body loved me so much that I had a heart attack so that I can wake up. I think it's more just bodies. I think it's God just keeps showing us signs to, hey, dummy, pay attention.
- 34:58You can look at it. That's the thing. It's all perspective. There's no right or wrong. Some of you can see it like that. But for me, it supported me very much celebrating that I have chosen this body and this body's been given to me for a reason. It's like my best friend in this journey. Emily, we've talked about the promise and the process. What's the proof? Like, tell us the second half of that question was, what is the what's the most rewarding transformation you've ever witnessed?
- 35:28Oh gosh. Okay. Well, there's so many and they showed me two real quick. And then even personally, so personally with that heart attack. So once I had the heart attack, when they scanned my heart again, me just moving into breathing the gift, thanking my body for waking me up and helping me see when I went through that, when they scanned my heart, my heart shows no damage. I have, my heart is perfect. There's no damage and it's perfect. That's,
- 35:58My daughter, when she would literally stop breathing, blew me.
- 36:03coded, you know, in that moment, me deciding or hearing the voice, really, I would see what entered entered the room and what I call the Holy Spirit, the energy stepping in and inviting me to choose the peace over the chaos. And when I decided to choose the to choose the peace that was in the room instead, because everything has its duality, I chose the peace over the chaos while it was happening. My daughter took a breath. She came back to life.
- 36:30Another story they flashed was a young woman. Actually, the mom attended an event that I was hosting. Energy's moving because they're telling me apparently several people need to hear this. But I think you and recovery know this as well.
- 36:45Something more powerful can take over right beyond the human expectation of what needs to happen. So I had a woman who went to one of my events that I was teaching at, kind of like what you saw. And she said, I really need you to meet my daughter. She is an addict and she's struggling with cocaine. We've tried everything. It's not helping.
- 37:07We need help. I don't think she's going to make it long. And I said, yes, I'll meet with her. So we actually met that night. So she went and got her daughter and I sat with her daughter in the car. And in our conversation, and honestly, Kelly, I don't even remember what the angel said, but what they said and what unfolded in that car, which was probably 45 minutes to an hour, changed the trajectory of her reality.
- 37:34She woke up the next day. Cravings were gone. Everything was gone. Her whole demeanor changed, right? And it transcended and the change happened like that. But what happens are human things that this and this and this needs to happen for a miracle to occur.
- 37:55But miracles are available to all of us all the time. It's just a shift of perspective, a shift of perspective that is great and powerful enough to help your human nervous system respond and welcome the change. As much as also energetically, and that's a deeper discussion, energy and things that can move and how malleable our reality is.
- 38:19I think this is the quietest I've ever been on my own podcast because I'm just absorbing it all deeply. I'm fascinated by this stuff. And it's...
- 38:29There is some sort of energy that's guiding us along because a lot of what you're saying has happened to me over and over and over. So guys, listen to this, this gal, she's amazing and she's brilliant and kind and loving and beautiful on the inside and out. So what I can't keep, some keeps saying like, what's one piece of advice you'd give to someone starting a spiritual coaching business like you? Wow. Well,
- 38:59Anyone starting. So I actually just finished teaching intuitive business coaching for people who are just starting and people who are growing their companies. And one of the biggest things that they kept going into the first step is like, what is the identity that you must be willing to become? And they want me to slow down because a lot of times we rush through or we hurry up in making things happen, but we just don't pause there.
- 39:28to identify, okay, who am I in that environment? How do I look? How do I act? Who am I? And the irony is that doesn't take that long. You know, take 30 minutes, take an hour, get clear. What does that identity look like? How do I act in this identity? How do I think in this identity?
- 39:47What are my habits in this identity? What kind of impact am I making in this identity? So a part of you has to own the possibility of the vision. And we first have to at least identify where the vision can go from whatever limited, you know, all of us have a limited perspective. So understanding that that's just the first step. That's just the stepping stone. The reality of what's possible is up here, but it's okay to start here.
- 40:13So starting with that, because right away, that's going to, of course, in the human activate the reticular mind part of the brain, right? Which is going to help you to get more assertive, but also clear about attentive to where is in your reality, these things that can already be seen or acted upon that can help you own that identity. The second thing is feeling worthy that you're capable of that.
- 40:39feeling worthy that you're capable of that. And if you don't feel worthy, we go back to this conversation here. I'm not enough. I can't do this on my own. I don't know how to get from who I am today to that. So I'm welcoming the help. I am as often as I'm able to, I'm going to lean into surrender so that the anointing that needs to wake up so I can become that for it to happen. And then
- 41:06With that, one of the things that I do recommend is that you take daily time to immerse yourself in the identity, seeing it, owning it, experiencing it. And then you're going to invite through prayer, through positive affirmation, whatever honors your journey and your belief system. And you're going to welcome inspired action. What are three inspired actions I can take today?
- 41:28What are three inspired actions I can take today? And what tends to happen at first, I hear people say, well, I didn't hear anything. That's fine. Just notice because it's going to show up some time in your day. But the more you practice what's going to happen, your human, your subconscious is going to start paying attention to those inspired actions. Or you can, again, the way I like to look at it is that your intuition is going to be turned on. You're deciding and.
- 41:53Working with something greater beyond your human self to activate those answers so that quantum leaps can occur when those inspired actions are acted upon. And then the last thing is that we have to commit to whatever inspired action comes up. You know, some of my biggest breakthroughs when it came to my business, when it came to money, when it came to personal life was honoring the inspired actions that sometimes seemed kooky and out there.
- 42:20So that would be my, my recommendation. I'm fluttering between two questions, but I'm going to go to this one because you kind of went through the habits to, to dive into this. I wanted to deep dive into self-awareness, but something's telling me that self-doubts come up several times. I've heard you say it. So can you share a challenge you've had with self-doubt and how you chose to overcome it?
- 42:49Great question. Great question. So I will say I've had that come up in the last few weeks and actually in the last week, self-doubt. And what did I do? So first of all, I listened. I listened to myself. That's the biggest mistake we make, right? We try to, especially in the masculine.
- 43:06Like, I got to push through this. Like, okay, this is not okay. And all these other things. Right. And then in the feminine, we end up talking to people or trying to, we need to find somebody to say or express what we're feeling or whatever it may be. But we just, we need to just notice the thoughts. So it doesn't mean it's easy, but giving ourself permission to just listen, listen to the thoughts because the irony is we are all craving to be seen and heard.
- 43:37And we sometimes either try to push beyond it in the masculine, like, let me just get through it, push, push it. Or in the feminine, once again, we're waiting for someone outside of us to offer that to us. But the answer is the same for both.
- 43:51It's like I need to just sit and look at what I'm feeling right now, but also what are the thoughts? What are the thoughts? And I like to celebrate that we're all gatekeepers. So when I look at those thoughts, I've allowed that thought in for a reason.
- 44:08So I look at the thought, I acknowledge it. It doesn't mean it's easy at times, but then I'm like, okay, what is the truth instead? And I just saw an orb. You're saying I'm saying that sometimes the camera will catch that. So then I asked myself, what is the truth that my soul knows to be like? What is the truth that I can just lean into that? Or what is a better thought that I can just, just take a moment to claim instead? So that's what I do. That's one thing that I do. Second,
- 44:37Remember I said changing your environment. I don't try to get myself out of my stuckness staying in my house. I put myself in the environments that will help me think differently, that will help me experience myself differently, that will help activate a different perspective beyond the one that I'm in. So what does that mean? I walk outside more. I go to the beach. I go to a park.
- 45:02I, another thing that the angels show me over and over, which seems out there, I doodle, literally doodling. They tell me that doodling is an amazing thing to do to help receive downloads and insights and also getting out of feeling stuck. That's why as kids, we do it. Isn't that interesting? Doodling is actually something that helps all of us. So those are some of the things that I do. And then lastly, whenever I'm feeling stuck is that I do.
- 45:26commit to putting myself in environments or settings where other people have moved into a better state. What does that mean? I go to events where there's people that are thriving. I go and connect with friends or people in my community where I can go have a dinner with because they're thriving, right? I move myself into pushing myself. They want me to say pushing. I push myself into,
- 45:53into experiences that are going to have me be around other people that can teach me, not necessarily directly because they're telling me, but I get to witness, right? The mirroring of our neurons. I get to witness movement in action.
- 46:10This is remarkable. The listeners are getting a masterclass. This is literally, don't let the angels fool you. What she's explained to you is self-improvement, self-development at its core. I'm not going to tell anybody to share this. This is going to be an instant classic, and I hope everybody's listening. That's why I'm so quiet.
- 46:31It's I've read and studied the art of self-improvement, the self-doubt. And I can I can recite Tony Robbins, Ed Myler, everybody's mantra. And you're blending it all and just coming from these downloads, from these angels. So guys, follow her.
- 46:49work with her, everything she's saying. That's why I'm so quiet. Cause it's just, it's, it's spot on to everything that, that you read and all the way through and up to the Bible. So let's talk some personal stuff. Um, when you're not coaching, how do you like to unwind and recharge? Let me guess, get out of your house. Um,
- 47:08Well, actually, my favorite thing to do is going to events. And I say events not because I'm seeking them. I ask literally the angels to show me. Show me where I can go play. And that's really the intention. I want to go play with people. I want to go play with environments. I want to go play. That's the intention. And yes, it's...
- 47:28You know, the benefits of it is that, yes, I get to learn, but I love to go explore. So recently I just went to Ibiza with Mindvalley and that was amazing. I love Tony. So I go to those events as often as I can. Joe Dispenza, same thing, you know, and actually every all of those people when I'm talking about all these people like Tony Robbins in 2016 or 17, you know, I'm going to go to
- 47:54I honestly, and it's funny to even say this, I wasn't fully aware of Tony Robbins. And Bean showed up and told me it was time for me to meet Tony Robbins. And I was told where to go and how to get there, what location it was and everything. So same thing happened with Joe Dispenza. And Angel showed up and said, it's time for you to meet Joe Dispenza. So, of course, that opened up.
- 48:14Same thing with Mindvalley. It's like one of those things that for me, that is fun for me to go into that free falling state where I'm like, tell me where to go, show me where to go. And I just honor it and I take the leap and it's always an adventure. Another thing that I love to do, which is outside of the normal, is that I like to go by myself to new places and immerse myself in silence. So, you know, this year I've done Sedona and I know Sedona is some.
- 48:43where that I go often. So I've done Sedona. I did the Bahamas and Island secluded Island out there. I've done Joshua tree. So I literally go out and do something by myself in, in nature. So that's, those are some of the things I, and I love dancing by the way. So if I'm not dancing here on my own, I try to find things that I can do that I can move my body and enjoy the
- 49:06the dancing joyful part of, I'm very playful. So anything that can help activate my playful nature, that's what I like to do when I'm not coaching. I want to reiterate what you just said, because it's lost in personal development, personal growth and finding oneself and becoming self-aware and ultimately getting self-love is being alone.
- 49:29If you don't love yourself enough to be alone and love being alone, you're no good to anybody, anything. So that is an unwritten thing. Be alone in your thoughts, in your feelings. Be still. So what is it? Silence, stillness, and there's one third one that if you, God said if you hid yourself,
- 49:52If he hid the gifts of life and anything, it would be silence, stillness, and there's a third S, and I can't remember what it is for the life of me right now. Silence, stillness. I want to say darkness, but I don't remember what the third one. Anyways, so yeah, you want to move forward? Be silent. Be still. Oh, solitude. That was the third one. Silence, stillness, and solitude. That's where God would hide silence.
- 50:17You're pointing because the angels are talking. I'm going to stop. I won't forget. I'll say it. I'll say it. Go. So, yes, with everything I just shared, but there's a key, right? A key that we all undervalue that is very powerful is taking time to play. Taking time to play. Taking time to laugh as often as possible. Right.
- 50:41That, gosh, that's the secret of fulfillment. That's the secret of literally becoming magical. That's the secret of becoming magnetic. That's the secret of enjoying life. If the more moments you spend in awe and wonder and play and joy, the more life can't help but give to you. That's what makes people magnetic, right? That's what...
- 51:04I know from experience, not just personally, but with the women that I'm working with, with the men I'm working with, it's like once you ignite that, right, which is really that the power of passion, being passionate with your own life through play, through joy, through laughter, it ignites something so beautiful that it can't help but radiate from you. And then when you enter a room, when you jump on a coaching call, when you do things like this, people can't help but feel you, right? They feel you.
- 51:32Because you're giving them permission to enjoy life no matter what. You're giving them permission to be themselves no matter what. I'm extremely grateful that you're on today because it's speaking right to my heart. And I'm absorbing...
- 51:49And allowing every piece of this receiving is the word I should have said play. I forget I'm grinding intensely hard right now and I forget that this is supposed to be fun. We're all going to die. So might as well have a little fun while we're doing it. A couple more questions. I'll get you out of here. What's a personal mantra or information that keeps you motivated?
- 52:11Oh, I don't necessarily have one, but real quick, I just want to celebrate something. You said the word receiving. That's what they were just saying to me. So you just connected right there to what they were saying. Hardest thing in the world for me, for I think alpha...
- 52:25male achievers to do is receive. So you'll hear me say a lot. I receive that because I have to embody it. I have to feel it through my body and know that I did. I didn't just say thank you and just let it pass through me. I felt it. So I say I work on that a lot. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So good. So good. So give us one mantra or an affirmation. Just something that is Emily-ism.
- 52:54Well, I, there is something I say a lot, uh, which is auspiciously delicious. You know, I, I celebrate, you know, that life's about, or for me, for me.
- 53:05That I always have a choice. Whatever's happening, I have a choice to experience auspiciously deliciousness in my life through my choices, or I have a choice to claim that I am auspiciously delicious, you know, as I'm moving through my day. And I claim being auspiciously delicious, not for anybody else, but for myself. Yeah.
- 53:26For myself. Because when I lean into that thought of auspicious is that I am walking magic, right? That I am walking with something greater beyond my human and delicious because life for me is delicious. I'm delicious. I find the joy and the playfulness and the beauty of life.
- 53:43with me, which inevitably can't help but create it for anybody that I get to spend time with or co-create with or work with. So life is auspiciously delicious. And every day we have a choice to claim that, to cultivate that and to enjoy that. And if we don't do it today, we always have tomorrow, right? We always have tomorrow.
- 54:03I want to point out what you just did. And I just, I had this in my notes from yesterday. Choices lead, feelings follow. So you make the choice to feel auspiciously delicious, and then the good feelings follow it. So you just literally took my notes away from me. So I, this is no coincidences. The angels and the gods have spoken and we were meant to connect today. And
- 54:28The listeners are going to benefit. Again, follow Emily. Head over to her website. You guys should work with her. This is all absolutely deep stuff, but just given in a real loving, kind manner. I still go back to love, inspiration, grace, gifts, play, all great words. Okay.
- 54:53So we're going to switch to the final couple of questions, be a little funny and lighthearted and just kind of get to know you, let the listeners know who you are. I know your beauty and your brilliance. But if you could have coffee with any angel, past or present, who would it be and why? I'm assuming you're meaning angel someone who's been in the human body. Is that accurate?
- 55:18I'm just going to let you go with that. And I thought the same thing. I'm like, do I want to put parameters on the first person, first thing that comes to your mind? I don't care if it's a feeling. So it's been consistent. Tony Robbins, Tony Robbins. Yeah. And this is why he is a true invitation for all of us of what can happen when you say yes to your anointing, to your mission and to being of impact beyond yourself.
- 55:48That's why I would want to sit with him because I would like to better own for myself how I too can say yes to the level of impact that I know I'm capable of if I continue to say yes to my anointing. Yeah.
- 56:08to the voice that is talking to me and inviting me daily to show up, not just for myself, not just for my kids, not just for the people that I get to love in my life, but also just for the world. So that's who I would choose to have coffee with. Again, I'm going to point out, you said yes to your anointing. And all too often we're all denying our gifts and our anointing and our grace and our grace.
- 56:36And our surrender. And that right there lies in what makes you harder than life. If you can just sit in that and allow and not do, it will happen. She's been talking about it for an hour now. So say yes to your anointing. And then she just, the angels just said something to her. So I'm going to give her a little minute to add to that. I'm sure there's something divine.
- 57:00So I actually just had a conversation with a client at a coaching call this morning. And it's like, sometimes we underplay the power of contrast. So a lot of these things, you know, I've had people say, well, I want to be living like you. I want to have this experience. How do I get, you know, a person in my life who should say the Emily effect, right? It's like, how do I have the Emily effect? How do I have that in my life? And I share with people that it hasn't, this has happened because I've been very intentional in practicing. Right.
- 57:30this life. It's not that I, it's not that I just wake up every day feeling this way. And yes, it happens more than not, but it is a journey. And this is the dance that we get. It's like understanding that we're ultimately in a dance. Life is a dance. Life is a dance.
- 57:46And in the dance, we're meant like literally our soul said, OK, I am going to go ahead and own this body and I am going to enjoy all the emotions that are part of being human. And there's an excitement around that, the anger, the joy, the sadness, the happiness. Like literally our soul is like literally an excitement. Like I get to have all these emotions.
- 58:06And the contrast that happens in our lives are also part of what we need to activate the passion, the desire, the movement necessary for us to create, for us to see more of our lives so that we don't get complacent. So we don't get bored. So we don't get lost so that we get, you know, one of the things, and this is a longer story, but there was a time in my life where an angel said to me, do you want complacency or euphoria?
- 58:33Complacency or euphoria? And I decided and said yes to euphoria. Well, euphoria included change. Change. My life had to change for me to be in euphoria. And so many times we say, I want this. I'm ready for this. Yes to this. Right? It's like, I want the euphoria. I want this life. But we are unwilling to.
- 58:55to undergo the changes that we must go through to embody who we need to be for that euphoria to be part of our daily interaction. So they wanted me to add that there. That was so good. The contrast and duality. We could just feed off each other for hours. Contrast and duality. That's why...
- 59:19heaven and hell exist. You have to have the duality to know which one to choose. So this is why the harder life listeners, why the brand blows up. Because when I tell you something, I've been on both sides. I've been rock bottom, poor, didn't know where my next meal was coming. And now I can eat in any restaurant, anywhere, any place in the world. And that I could fly to. I have been small, teeny tiny. Now I'm very big and large and larger than life. I have,
- 59:47been poor or I've reached a pinnacle. I've been alone. I've been in a romantic relationship. I've had it all. So if I'm giving you guys advice, you listen, because I've been on both sides. I'm not going to take advice from somebody who's never seen the duality. How can you tell me that alcohol is bad for you if you've never had a drink? I don't know. So the contrast is,
- 1:00:10is key. And that's what we're missing coming out of this election. The people don't realize we need both sides of the plane to balance each other out. And that's how the universe works. So it's very interesting. I have two more questions. What's one thing your clients would be surprised to learn about you? Well, I don't really know. I'm pretty an open book. I'm pretty open. Um,
- 1:00:41I'm asking them to help me. Well, I know a lot of people sometimes get surprised when they see me, my travels and stuff, and they think that I'm doing it with someone or, you know.
- 1:00:54I think a lot of times people get surprised that I love to just unplug and be alone completely. Like a lot of my adventures, I have no cell service. I've done adventures where I'm in a tent, camping, eating out of a can, cooking my food, building my own tent, and literally being alone, completely secluded from everything that is human. So I think sometimes people get surprised about that. I can't think at the moment, Kelly, I apologize.
- 1:01:20I think that's a beautiful thing. That's exactly the question I was looking for is you have this online persona, you have this receiving from the angels, but yet you keep life extremely simple. And when you're in your presence, you can feel that. It's large and loving, but simple and graceful and grateful.
- 1:01:43So sorry to add that to the color commentating, but do you ever get random divine advice about small things like what snack to eat or which movie to watch?
- 1:01:54Oh my gosh. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Which can go into a whole different thing, but yes, that can happen. I mean, it's happened before with things even contaminated, you know, like I'd be at the grocery store or I remember one time I was at the house and the boy said, don't buy this for the kids can't eat this for this amount of time because something got contaminated. And I'll literally, we'll find out that something happened with that. So that's happened. Random advice.
- 1:02:24with what I eat. Oh, movies. Thank you. I was like, what was the other thing you guys told me? So since I was little, this was a long time ago. It's been, they've been telling me this since I was probably middle school elementary. I don't remember how long, but I'll listen to music or I'll watch a movie and they'll audibly say to me, be here. They'll call me back. And the reason this is important for all of us to hear is because anything we give attention to is programming us.
- 1:02:48And there's a lot of things that are working really hard to program us into thinking a certain way, behaving a certain way, believing things about ourselves a certain way. There's so much out there doing that. Music, movies, propaganda, what they say, propaganda. There's so much.
- 1:03:04And a lot of times we undervalue that once again, that can happen if we aren't mindful or attentive where we're focusing our attention. So I can be in a movie and I'm getting so, I love Marvel movies. I still have superhero movies. So sometimes I'm getting very caught up in a movie and I'll literally hear them snap and they'll say, come here, like bring my attention and my focus back to the fact that I'm in a theater, that I am here and that I am here.
- 1:03:32Right. The one who decides what comes in here and they call me back to my attention to make that decision. I'm just an observer of this. I'm not one who is downloading this into my psyche or my subconscious. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Deadpool is Marvel, right? Yes, it is.
- 1:03:52Wasn't that one of the funniest movies? His little innuendos were, I was dying laughing, like how he was making fun of the rival. That's some of the play that I like doing. I like going to movies with my daughter. So would you ask the angels what the final piece of advice they'd like? What's something I didn't ask that they want you to share?
- 1:04:20So, and this is actually something I'm stepping more into teaching. Thank you. Yes. How do you want me to say it? So this is actually something you're going to see more, Kelly, and everybody who's connecting with me. I'm going to talk about the idea that we are already awakened superhumans. And thank you. The message is that.
- 1:04:42You're more than you're human, no matter what has happened to you, no matter your history, no matter your thoughts, your beliefs. And no matter even what was part of your moment before you started listening to this conversation, you are more than human. And thank you. It is part of.
- 1:05:05our gift. It is part of our intention to help you awaken more into that truth as often as you're willing to remember. So you can ask as often as you want, or you can surrender into the invitation. I am open, available. I like to say I'm open, ready, and available to remembering who and what I am beyond this human body.
- 1:05:29And the more you open up to that invitation, the more that love can rise in your life and become more visible, more attainable, so that you can get to remember who and what you are. Because all of us came here with an anointing. All of us came here with a vision of a better world and a better life. All of us. It's whether or not we're willing and open to extend the hand up and say, yes.
- 1:05:56take me and show me who and what I am beyond what I've seen before. And it will show up. It will show up. Maybe not the way you think it's going to show up, but it will show up.
- 1:06:08You just gave me the chills because I spent a couple days with John Gordon, John Maxwell, and Ed Milet. I'm not name dropping, but you're now the fourth thought leader this week that said, they called it get into God's room because your ceiling of yourself is God's floor. And that's what I just heard you say. So if you can surrender and allow him to do his work, life gets even better. And it's the weirdest thing because my life is...
- 1:06:36awesome. Everybody would trade spots with me right now. And I still know that even though I could live this way complacently for the rest of my life, I know that he wants more and I'm supposed to do more, but with surrendering. So everything that you just said went right through my whole entire being. If you guys...
- 1:07:00didn't listen to this, go back and re-listen because God just kept throwing this message to me and there's no coincidences. And I can't thank you enough for sharing with me. Guys, be sure to follow Emily Andrews on Instagram. She's got a great website at theangelcoach.com. And I just can't thank you enough for reaching out to me and reconnecting with me. And you're just a beautiful soul. Thank you for playing. Thank you for being hard in life. Thank you. Thank you. Big hugs. Thank you, everybody.
