- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of Two Teas
- 0:15Speaker 1: in a Pod with myself and Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:18Speaker 2: What's going on over there? What's going on over there?
- 0:20Speaker 1: I was going to say OC, but you're not in OC.
- 0:22Speaker 1: You're in LA. How's the weather? Because I heard OC
- 0:25Speaker 1: is like Miami right now.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Well, supposedly it's supposed to be so hot today, but
- 0:30Speaker 2: it was raining yesterday. Yeah. And, you know, it was humid.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Was it raining and hot in L.A.? Yeah.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Raining and hot. Yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 1: So like it was 104 in parts of South Orange County.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 0:45Speaker 1: In North Orange County. Like it was crazy and raining
- 0:47Speaker 1: off and on from what I hear. It was 60
- 0:50Speaker 1: something degrees here in Big Bear. And we had a
- 0:53Speaker 1: major thunderstorm.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Oh, I love a thunderstorm. I know.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And it was hailing, too.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I know. But today the sun's shining and it's supposed
- 1:02Speaker 1: to be like 75. So I'm here for it. So
- 1:04Speaker 1: you're ready for a good day. I'm ready for it.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm ready to go like ride my bike, you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: take our bikes out and ride. We love going through
- 1:12Speaker 1: all the neighborhoods, looking at the different houses and we're
- 1:15Speaker 1: going to buy this one one day and we're going to,
- 1:17Speaker 1: mom's going to live here. Like, you know, all the dreaming.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It's a good dreamer place.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21Speaker 1: The daydreaming we do here in Big Bear. Yeah. What
- 1:25Speaker 1: I should do is go to the gym.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I haven't been in a week.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Well, Not good.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I know. Not good. You've joined me. You've joined me.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I can barely get up today.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Like I woke up to Matt's face, like two inches
- 1:40Speaker 3: from mine, and I was still in bed.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And he's like, hello.
- 1:43Speaker 3: No.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Jump scare.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I was like, hey, what's up? And he's like, you've
- 1:52Speaker 2: got some ads to do before the pod. And I
- 1:54Speaker 2: was like, what? No way.
- 1:55Speaker 1: No way. So you had to like get yourself together
- 2:00Speaker 1: to do sponsored ads. Oh God.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I've been doing this cameo like deal, like for Labor Day.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And I think it ends on the 13th, but it's
- 2:12Speaker 1: like 50% off. So it's like $ 50 per cameo. And
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I am doing them non-stop, non-stop, but
- 2:22Speaker 1: it's fun. I don't mind it.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Are you trying to catch up with Jax Taylor?
- 2:26Speaker 1: No, I am on the leaderboard and I think I'm
- 2:28Speaker 1: about 60 right now, but somewhere in the 50s. But
- 2:32Speaker 1: it blows my mind that Jax Taylor is number one
- 2:36Speaker 1: on the Cameo leaderboard.
- 2:38Speaker 2: He must just do it 24-7.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But obviously there's tons of people requesting him. So that's
- 2:44Speaker 1: what blows my mind.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Well, I wonder how much he charges.
- 2:47Speaker 1: 100, 130 or something like that.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And I mean, he's making hundreds of thousands of dollars
- 2:54Speaker 1: on Cameo.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Like when I hear stuff like that, it really makes
- 2:58Speaker 3: me upset that I can't just put my big girl
- 3:00Speaker 3: panties on and do cameo.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It's not that hard. You make people happy doing it.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I did so many birthday wishes. A lot of people
- 3:08Speaker 1: going through cancer treatment, pep talks, roasting people.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:15Speaker 2: All right. I don't know why you don't do it.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I just don't. For whatever reason, it's... Well, right.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Now, I think on the leaderboard, as far as housewives,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I didn't look through all. I think it's the top 100.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Sonia's always up there on the top. Myself. Luann's usually
- 3:33Speaker 1: on there. Yeah. Jax Taylor. Like, guys, number one on there.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Some women must want to hear from him.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Is that what you think it is?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, just not us.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I mean, it's crazy to me, but good for him,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I guess.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Need to make money. Yeah. It's crazy to me.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So we are here to recap season 16 of New York.
- 4:11Speaker 1: This is episode two. What'd you think overall of the episode?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Loved it.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You did?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I loved it.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I mean, I think there are some things that definitely
- 4:22Speaker 3: don't match or mesh.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You mean like people? Yeah, like people. But I still
- 4:30Speaker 2: am loving it because they're just so crazy. I know.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And then Carol's back. So we're excited about that. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: she's writing again. And we interviewed her at BravoCon, remember?
- 4:41Speaker 1: And she was talking about her sub stack. And I
- 4:43Speaker 1: know Heather Dubrow does sub stack too. So you guys
- 4:46Speaker 1: can go over and look at hers as well. It is,
- 4:49Speaker 1: that would be like a nightmare to me to have
- 4:51Speaker 1: to write things out. Cause isn't it just like a
- 4:54Speaker 1: journaling type of situation, right?
- 4:56Speaker 2: I think so.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Are you good at that stuff?
- 4:59Speaker 2: Do I seem good at that stuff?
- 5:01Speaker 1: No, but I had to ask, maybe it's your secret power.
- 5:03Speaker 2: My secret power.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You're at home journaling everything.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Well, no, but I did notice her re-renovated apartment. Yes.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Like it looked amazing. But then this part was I
- 5:19Speaker 2: found a little bit interesting. So then we go down.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I found it all interesting about Carol.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yeah. So everybody's this means like production, the whole group,
- 5:31Speaker 3: they're going down to her old red Jeep and she's
- 5:34Speaker 3: sitting in there.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And I think that Jeep is. I don't know.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I feel like that's the Jeep that my friend Robin
- 5:41Speaker 3: drove in high school.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Did you see the staple gun that she just
- 5:45Speaker 1: stapled the headliner or whatever it's called?
- 5:50Speaker 2: The top of the car falls down and it's already
- 5:52Speaker 2: got like that.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I have to warn her though. You have to be
- 5:55Speaker 3: very careful when those start to fall down. Then little
- 5:59Speaker 3: tiny bugs will get in there because that happened to
- 6:04Speaker 3: my friend Robin's Jeep too.
- 6:06Speaker 2: How about just take it out? Then I think you're
- 6:09Speaker 2: just straight on like asbestos.
- 6:11Speaker 1: No, it's no. There's no like insulation. It's probably just
- 6:16Speaker 1: metal from the ceiling.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. Well, she's stapling it
- 6:20Speaker 2: to something.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That's true.
- 6:23Speaker 2: She's in the middle of stapling it.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It wasn't her first staple either.
- 6:26Speaker 2: It wasn't. No, you could tell. She carries a.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Staple gun in her office slash red Jeep.
- 6:32Speaker 2: No, I loved her office time.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Erica meets her and they have a coffee date because
- 6:37Speaker 3: on street cleaning days, Carol works from her car so
- 6:39Speaker 3: she can move it.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You know that Carol can afford a parking space, but
- 6:44Speaker 1: she's got like prime parking space right in front of
- 6:47Speaker 1: her apartment. She just has to get in there, pull out,
- 6:51Speaker 1: let the street sweep her by, and then she backs in.
- 6:54Speaker 1: But did you see somebody just pulling into her parking space?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Trying to get her spot. She's like, hell no.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And you know she can afford one. What freaks me
- 7:03Speaker 1: out the most is she turned her kitchen into an office.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Does that mean like she took her appliance out?
- 7:09Speaker 2: No, they showed a little picture of it.
- 7:12Speaker 3: It's just like the side of her kitchen, there's like
- 7:14Speaker 3: a little desk.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but she said she turned her kitchen back into
- 7:19Speaker 1: a kitchen when she remodeled, even though she doesn't cook.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it wasn't much of like, it wasn't
- 7:26Speaker 2: like a home office more.
- 7:28Speaker 3: It was still a kitchen. But I guess she's just
- 7:31Speaker 3: utilizing it a touch more. But I feel like we're
- 7:36Speaker 3: starting to get more of a feel from Carol and
- 7:40Speaker 3: how she's feeling doing back as she's sitting there discussing
- 7:43Speaker 3: things with Erica. Yeah. Until she's trying to get back
- 7:46Speaker 3: into the mix. She's like, okay, tell me what's going on.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Here's this. But everybody that Erica knows, she's like, well,
- 7:53Speaker 2: I met her through Martha.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody knows Martha Stewart, I.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Guess, right? Yeah, she's like, I met her through Martha.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Then Carol has gone on with two guys who auditioned
- 8:04Speaker 3: to play her late husband on Love Story.
- 8:08Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Don't you think?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Like all the guys in New York City, are they
- 8:13Speaker 1: all trying to be actors or they just all go
- 8:15Speaker 1: after her to get information from her to do better?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I think she's an attractive woman.
- 8:23Speaker 1: No, but I'm saying it's just two guys that are
- 8:25Speaker 1: auditioning for something that's very close to her. Yeah. Do
- 8:30Speaker 1: you think like she found, they found her on a
- 8:32Speaker 1: dating app or something?
- 8:33Speaker 2: Well, I think everyone knows who she is. Yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 1: But do you think they went, what I'm saying is,
- 8:39Speaker 1: did they.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Go after her?
- 8:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I think once they see her, they're like, hell yes.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Especially with how much traction Love Story has been getting.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Well, they didn't know that at the time. It was
- 8:51Speaker 1: just a thought. They were just casting for it. I
- 8:53Speaker 1: just feel like as soon as they cast for it,
- 8:55Speaker 1: they like hit her up on Raya and was like, hey,
- 8:58Speaker 1: let's go out. I need to do some research.
- 9:00Speaker 3: What about how her agent calls when they're in the
- 9:03Speaker 3: middle of their meeting?
- 9:04Speaker 2: I know.
- 9:05Speaker 3: And she's like, yeah, just good news. It's back on
- 9:09Speaker 3: the bestsellers list.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I know. And it's all because of Love Story.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 1: They want to go back and read that.
- 9:16Speaker 3: So it's called What Remains. I'm hitting the bestseller list.
- 9:20Speaker 3: So I will say.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That the group actually seems connected outside of the show.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So it makes for a better show like Rhode Island,
- 9:27Speaker 1: like everybody knew each other.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah. So everybody knows each other.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Then we after we see like this kind of meeting
- 9:34Speaker 3: scene that kind of made me laugh with Erica and
- 9:38Speaker 3: Carol and in the car and all that.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I mean, the thing is, that's her real life.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Yeah. Like Erica made a joke and was like, why
- 9:46Speaker 3: can't she afford a parking spot?
- 9:48Speaker 2: I would get one.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Well, Eric is married to a billionaire, but I don't
- 9:51Speaker 1: think that Carol's, you know, poor in any way. She's
- 9:55Speaker 1: not hurting for money. I think it's just, it's logical.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Parking in New York to, I'm sure it's expensive.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah. And she's like, why not? I can do this.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I can park right in front of my house. Once
- 10:06Speaker 1: a week, I can go out there and move it.
- 10:07Speaker 2: It's not that bad.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Unlike me who, when I was younger and I lived
- 10:11Speaker 3: like on, I think it was Cochran street. Um, I
- 10:15Speaker 3: would never, I would never remember to move my car
- 10:19Speaker 3: and street days. I would get so many tickets that
- 10:22Speaker 3: then they would just end up towing it.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Well, then we get to Aaron who gets devastating news
- 10:29Speaker 1: and I've been in this spot. Not as bad as
- 10:31Speaker 1: hers though. Her house, the Hamptons had a pipe burst
- 10:35Speaker 1: and it was flooded and it looks kind of like
- 10:37Speaker 1: a total loss. Like they're going to have to gut that.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I mean, I think the part that's so crazy is like,
- 10:44Speaker 3: imagine if she didn't have her realtor go over there
- 10:47Speaker 3: to try to rent it out.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Oh, well, it would have been, it would have been
- 10:52Speaker 1: how they'd have to rip it down to the complete
- 10:54Speaker 1: studs because the mold would have been so bad. I
- 10:56Speaker 1: think somebody would have seen water draining out of it
- 10:58Speaker 1: or something. Or even the cities, like why, what is
- 11:02Speaker 1: going on here? Like here in Big Bear, if our
- 11:04Speaker 1: water's running somewhere outside, they contact us. But this is
- 11:09Speaker 1: not good. I mean, she just renovated it two years
- 11:12Speaker 1: ago and then found out the day of Jocelyn's party
- 11:16Speaker 1: that it got flooded. The good on the bright side, well,
- 11:19Speaker 1: she gets a redo and the insurance company is probably
- 11:21Speaker 1: going to pay for most of it where they're just
- 11:23Speaker 1: going to renovate the entire house now.
- 11:26Speaker 2: But she's like, for her, it's so much about the memories. Oh,
- 11:30Speaker 2: for sure. She's like, here's all my picture boxes. Here's
- 11:33Speaker 2: like the, you know.
- 11:35Speaker 3: my what my daughter they didn't.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Look too destroyed though I feel like they could been
- 11:42Speaker 1: you know.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah I mean the rooms look destroyed there's no tops
- 11:47Speaker 3: to any of the rooms at this point but the
- 11:50Speaker 3: fact that.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It had mold already makes me believe that it happened
- 11:55Speaker 1: a while ago like water destroys shit destroys it warps
- 12:00Speaker 1: wood mold all that stuff it's the worst and I've
- 12:02Speaker 1: had like Three floods. My kitchen flooded after renovating it.
- 12:07Speaker 3: You could see it's affecting her and her husband. Like
- 12:09Speaker 3: he's like, oh, my gosh. He's like, Aaron, you got
- 12:11Speaker 3: to look at the worst part.
- 12:13Speaker 2: And he takes her over to where they like have
- 12:14Speaker 2: been measuring their kids every year. It made me sad.
- 12:18Speaker 1: They could cut that out of the wall.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It made me kind of sad because it was like,
- 12:23Speaker 3: you know, they love that place. That's their happy place.
- 12:25Speaker 3: That's where they get away. And now it's going to
- 12:28Speaker 3: be years before they can do that again.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm curious to see how bad the damage is, if
- 12:34Speaker 1: it's a total take it down to the studs or
- 12:38Speaker 1: they can dry it out.
- 12:40Speaker 3: So they're in an Equinox, and she also has a
- 12:42Speaker 3: program called Knockout that she does at Equinox.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So she's been boxing her whole life, right? Is that
- 12:48Speaker 1: what she said?
- 12:48Speaker 2: She was like 14, I think. And then... Haley and
- 12:54Speaker 2: Daisy come to take her class.
- 12:55Speaker 1: They're like, hell no. My exercise is running up and
- 12:58Speaker 1: down the escalator at Bloomingdale's. And by the way, she's like,
- 13:02Speaker 1: they're both thin as hell, right?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Well, like Haley hasn't washed her hair in like six
- 13:07Speaker 3: months during this.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Unless she wet it down for this.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Why?
- 13:11Speaker 1: Why do you say that? Did it look greasy?
- 13:13Speaker 2: It was so, it was like wet.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Unless she did the wet look, it was wet.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I didn't notice that.
- 13:19Speaker 3: She kept her sunglasses on. Um, Erica even had to
- 13:22Speaker 3: ask her, please take your sunglasses on. And then she
- 13:24Speaker 3: had them on again later. And then, um, Daisy is
- 13:31Speaker 3: like dying. She's like, this is so hard, but yet
- 13:33Speaker 3: doesn't take her sweatshirt off. Then after the class, you know,
- 13:37Speaker 3: they go right over to the side, sit down and, um,
- 13:42Speaker 3: they want to discuss the drama.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Uh, about Jess's party.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 2: And Haley has a lot to say.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Well, Aaron started shit by telling Allison the boob story.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And she thinks she's a pot stirrer. And then we
- 13:57Speaker 1: find out they're not speaking right now. I mean, I
- 13:59Speaker 1: don't completely understand this. Because all Aaron did was say, like,
- 14:03Speaker 1: were you the girl that did it with the boob?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Big deal. Yeah. Like, if it was years, you know,
- 14:10Speaker 2: because now Haley's saying it was years ago. And, you know,
- 14:13Speaker 2: if it was a secret. And then say like, don't
- 14:17Speaker 2: bring this up or whatever.
- 14:18Speaker 3: I mean, it also, I feel like Aaron was doing
- 14:20Speaker 3: it just to show like I'm in the know with
- 14:22Speaker 3: what's going on. Yeah. I think.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Well, it's what we all do on these reality shows
- 14:28Speaker 1: and what we're paid to do is somebody gives you
- 14:30Speaker 1: some information and you go and talk about it.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 3: But then she says she's into lavender marriage and Aaron
- 14:36Speaker 3: lives a plain vanilla life. She, she says she blacks
- 14:41Speaker 3: out when Aaron talks because she's so boring. She's, strawberry
- 14:46Speaker 3: jam to her.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Listen, I love strawberry jam.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I prefer raspberry, but whatever. Do you think Aaron's boring?
- 14:57Speaker 1: I don't think Aaron's boring at all.
- 14:59Speaker 3: I think without Aaron, we would not really have much
- 15:01Speaker 3: of a show.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I know.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I mean, Aaron's kind of the star of the show.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I think that Aaron's married. She's got four kids. You know,
- 15:09Speaker 1: she's very settled down. Where Haley does live a much
- 15:12Speaker 1: different life where she's in this... kind of open marriage
- 15:17Speaker 1: and she's dating women and married and that's not the norm.
- 15:21Speaker 3: What about when she did the shade I thought it
- 15:24Speaker 3: was also to Carol she goes I'd rather read Carol's.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Book than talk to Aaron I know I was like.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Yeah yeah I know that was kind of kind of
- 15:35Speaker 1: rude because she's on the New York's best time seller
- 15:37Speaker 1: list so take that yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Like I want to read the book yeah um Then
- 15:44Speaker 3: Sai is getting, so that kind of ends, but you
- 15:46Speaker 3: see where it's going because clearly Haley's got some big
- 15:50Speaker 3: issues with Aaron.
- 15:53Speaker 1: So.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Big giant issues. Big giant issues.
- 15:56Speaker 1: First world problems.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Like she's, she made a joke and it was
- 16:01Speaker 2: not the right joke. And now we're going to just
- 16:03Speaker 2: tear to shreds.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Now we're going to beat a dead horse.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Yeah. But we see Cy.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Trying to get her financials in order after, you know,
- 16:14Speaker 1: separating from her husband. And I think that's like a
- 16:17Speaker 1: lot of reason why people do stay together is because
- 16:20Speaker 1: they have businesses together and do all these things. Like
- 16:23Speaker 1: she's like, shit, I don't know what he's going to
- 16:24Speaker 1: ask for. I don't know what he wants.
- 16:27Speaker 3: But I almost peed my pants when they panned to
- 16:29Speaker 3: like her piece of paper and it had three things
- 16:31Speaker 3: written on it.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Like, Oh, I didn't notice that.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Like it looked like she was like jotting down all
- 16:38Speaker 3: this information and then they panned to the piece of
- 16:41Speaker 3: paper and it's seriously like three thing.
- 16:43Speaker 2: It's like financials. Wow. With like a curly Q on top.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Well, she did say the one thing she has learned
- 16:50Speaker 1: from this is her next husband. She will definitely have
- 16:53Speaker 1: a prenup.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Well, because she doesn't have them currently, but also it
- 16:57Speaker 3: made me wonder like, oh, she's already thinking about having
- 17:00Speaker 3: a next husband.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I know. I know.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Did you catch the, which one was it? Was it
- 17:04Speaker 1: Haley or Daisy? The walk up Taco Bell?
- 17:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 2: She's like, bye.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I've never seen like a walk up Taco Bell just
- 17:16Speaker 1: on the street like that.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Well, that's what they have to do in New York.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I thought it was kind of cool even though I
- 17:21Speaker 1: don't go to Taco Bell.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I liked it. And she, you know, I was surprised
- 17:26Speaker 2: she didn't roller skate through there.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I love seeing that.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I know. I love seeing it too.
- 17:32Speaker 3: But I was kind of wondering, like when she was
- 17:35Speaker 3: talking about all her financial stuff, I'm like, how much
- 17:38Speaker 3: is she going to have to pay out this ex-husband?
- 17:41Speaker 1: Well, who knows? I think she's going to have to
- 17:45Speaker 1: split things. For sure.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I mean, she's going to go from shopping at the
- 17:50Speaker 3: RealReal to selling.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Yeah, selling at the RealReal.
- 17:55Speaker 2: That's not going to be pretty.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Well, what about we get a bit of Daisy at
- 18:00Speaker 1: home with Eugene and Quentin.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I feel like Eugene is me. Like that is how
- 18:06Speaker 3: type a I am about stuff. Like I'm like, hold
- 18:08Speaker 3: on to the water. It's gotta be right here. It
- 18:10Speaker 3: can't be right here.
- 18:11Speaker 1: It's gotta be here. I don't think you were like
- 18:15Speaker 1: this with Edwin, but he is very type a Daisy
- 18:19Speaker 1: is not. Their communication seems like it could use some
- 18:22Speaker 1: work for sure, but she has to put doggy cameras
- 18:25Speaker 1: and to see what's happening and having to, um, Asked
- 18:30Speaker 1: to open up a bottle of wine. I mean, I'm
- 18:33Speaker 1: going to open up a bottle of wine. No, you
- 18:36Speaker 1: can have some. It's like, and to me, I can
- 18:38Speaker 1: read between the lines.
- 18:39Speaker 2: What if I make it very cold and bubbly? And
- 18:41Speaker 2: then it was red wine. So I got even more confused.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Bubbly red wine. And it's like, I know that tone.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And it's like, yeah, you can. No judgment there. Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I get a little bit of rut row when I
- 18:54Speaker 2: watch them. Yeah.
- 18:56Speaker 1: It's a little bit of Paul and Adrian Maloof.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, but at this point in time, I think
- 19:03Speaker 3: that Eugene, we're just seeing, like, he's a good dad.
- 19:05Speaker 2: He's, you know, grilling. He's helping his son do his.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Spelling bee stuff.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I need to see Eugene working, cutting hair. Cause I
- 19:16Speaker 1: just look at him and I think you're just not
- 19:18Speaker 1: the type that cuts hair.
- 19:19Speaker 2: He's in finance to me. Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I mean, it's not because he doesn't have any hair.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, but it's just like, doesn't look
- 19:26Speaker 1: like the guy that's working in a salon.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I know.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I don't say finance for sure.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Yeah, he's in finance.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Can't judge a book by its cover.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 3: But he is essentially wanting Daisy to narrow down her
- 19:42Speaker 3: dates and be more specific. And she's pretty much like,
- 19:45Speaker 3: I'm on Martha's time schedule.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Her life revolves around Martha's.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 1: She's her number one priority. God, wouldn't it be nice
- 19:53Speaker 1: to have makeup or glam? It's like, you're my priority.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I will do anything.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm scrambling to get glam for the reunion because my.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Normal girl is out of town. So I was like,
- 20:10Speaker 1: can you help me? So she helped me find somebody,
- 20:13Speaker 1: which she works with Kyle and, and, um, and now
- 20:17Speaker 1: they're trying to change the date. I'm like, Whoa, wait
- 20:19Speaker 1: a minute.
- 20:21Speaker 2: No, no, we got this. Um, but I think it
- 20:27Speaker 2: shows a lot.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I think he didn't end up having that glass of
- 20:31Speaker 3: wine with her, but she did end up opening it.
- 20:33Speaker 2: They're continuing to talk.
- 20:35Speaker 3: She doesn't seem to want to budge on, like, I
- 20:37Speaker 3: don't have more than a week's notice for anything. He's
- 20:40Speaker 3: trying to plan something that's like a month in advance.
- 20:43Speaker 3: And he's like, she's like, that's way too far.
- 20:47Speaker 1: That's kind of annoying, too. Yeah. Like, can you just
- 20:50Speaker 1: say no to Martha? Are you so worried she's going
- 20:52Speaker 1: to go somewhere else?
- 20:54Speaker 2: And if she's like one of your best friends, then.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Say, listen, I have a trip planned. I'm doing this.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I found that a little bit odd.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Then Daisy has planned a girl's lunch to celebrate Psy.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And Psy's like, I'm confused. Why are we celebrating me?
- 21:23Speaker 1: What is there to celebrate?
- 21:24Speaker 3: Well, before they even get to the celebration, um, Eugene
- 21:30Speaker 3: calls to make sure that all the electricity is off
- 21:33Speaker 3: and the door is locked.
- 21:34Speaker 1: And Daisy's like, I left the gas on and the
- 21:37Speaker 1: curling iron. Deal with it.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh.
- 21:44Speaker 1: What about Erica saying that she's so paranoid sleeping alone
- 21:48Speaker 1: that she puts her husband's prize watches outside of her
- 21:53Speaker 1: bedroom door in case she gets robbed?
- 21:56Speaker 2: And her wedding rings? I don't know. I don't know
- 21:58Speaker 2: if it was a wedding ring. Yeah, she took her
- 21:59Speaker 2: rings off and put them on top.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Oh, so her wedding rings?
- 22:03Speaker 2: I knew there were rings.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I didn't know if there were wedding rings.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Jeez. And then she sleeps with a big, like, I
- 22:08Speaker 3: don't even know what kind of knife that is, like
- 22:09Speaker 3: a big cutting knife.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Like a machete?
- 22:13Speaker 2: It was like this big. I was like, holy shit.
- 22:16Speaker 2: It was like, you like my little knife right here?
- 22:18Speaker 2: But it was a ginormous version.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I know somebody else that lives in my house
- 22:21Speaker 1: that has a big machete by the bed. Oh my God.
- 22:28Speaker 3: But yeah, like I think that she's, I think Sai's
- 22:33Speaker 3: making a lot of sense when she's like, what are
- 22:35Speaker 3: we celebrating?
- 22:36Speaker 2: She's like, but here's the thing. This drama is going
- 22:38Speaker 2: to keep me thinking about something else.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Well, she's not celebrating the fact that Carol doesn't remember her.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Carol's like, huh?
- 22:48Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, we met several times. huh, yeah, I
- 22:52Speaker 1: don't remember that. And then she's like, oh, yes, I
- 22:56Speaker 1: remember that.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, well, she's like gave her little hints. Well, she
- 22:59Speaker 3: remembered the first time they met and then she's like,
- 23:02Speaker 3: what about?
- 23:03Speaker 2: And then she's like, hmm.
- 23:07Speaker 1: This Daisy bringing up Quentin's hot tutor. Oh, I don't
- 23:11Speaker 1: think this is going to go well for her.
- 23:13Speaker 2: No.
- 23:13Speaker 1: When her husband sees it. So he texts her having
- 23:16Speaker 1: a crush on a married woman is making me helplessly Stupid.
- 23:21Speaker 1: And she hearted it. And he had more to say
- 23:23Speaker 1: because the rest of it was read at the lunch.
- 23:27Speaker 1: And I'm like, everyone's like, why are you engaging in this?
- 23:31Speaker 2: I feel like Daisy's teaching a thing or two to
- 23:34Speaker 2: the tutor.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Sounds like it.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, I don't know that I would want to
- 23:40Speaker 3: be sharing that. And also, why are you keeping him
- 23:42Speaker 3: the tutor?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Well, then she said something along the lines that she
- 23:48Speaker 1: just ghosted him. But then the girl said, you hearted it.
- 23:52Speaker 1: And Sai had no problem bringing it up, bringing up
- 23:54Speaker 1: the tutor, the way that she hearted it. I think
- 23:58Speaker 1: her husband's going to freak.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I mean, maybe he's just particular about the way things
- 24:02Speaker 3: are in the house. Maybe he's not a super jealous guy.
- 24:05Speaker 1: So he doesn't care that she's flirting with her son's tutor.
- 24:11Speaker 1: And how old is this tutor?
- 24:14Speaker 3: I think she said 28. Did I hear that correct?
- 24:18Speaker 3: But I mean, definitely is odd.
- 24:22Speaker 1: We did learn that Carol hates brunch.
- 24:26Speaker 2: She hates brunch. She likes breakfast.
- 24:28Speaker 1: She doesn't need to drink mimosas with her eggs.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, she doesn't like that.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'm like, what better time?
- 24:33Speaker 2: I love brunch.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Brunch is my favorite meal ever.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I do too.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I'd much rather go to a brunch than a dinner.
- 24:42Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 24:43Speaker 1: A couple of weeks ago and I want to make
- 24:44Speaker 1: them today.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Chili killies. Oh, yum. So good.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I just like, I want to make something new and
- 24:52Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, let's, and I just, I just winged it.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I didn't even look at a recipe and it was
- 24:56Speaker 1: pretty damn good. I'm going to make it after this
- 24:59Speaker 1: for brunch.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Nice.
- 25:01Speaker 1: But I don't have any champagne. Drink whiskey. We are
- 25:07Speaker 1: in the mountains.
- 25:08Speaker 3: You know. You are living it up in the mountains,
- 25:12Speaker 3: so anything goes there.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I could stay here right now. I'm like, I don't
- 25:15Speaker 1: even want to go home.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I feel so nice.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Then Aaron makes a speech and only does a dig
- 25:22Speaker 3: about being kicked out of the party if you weren't friends.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I liked her speech. I don't blame Aaron for a speech.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Jessel did her speech and it was kind of like
- 25:35Speaker 1: tit for tat.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Carol corroborates that Aaron called Jessel obnoxious, desperate, and thirsty.
- 25:42Speaker 3: This is after they kind of talked through what the
- 25:45Speaker 3: things are that she said. And then Carol's like, well,
- 25:47Speaker 3: and also on another time when I was there.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Jessel keeps calling her a cockroach.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I mean, it's not like she's being nice about it.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Jessel didn't do herself any favors this episode.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:00Speaker 1: At the end, I'm like, no, no. Did you happen
- 26:04Speaker 1: to see that John Gosling... was at the premiere party
- 26:08Speaker 1: in the Hamptons for The Real Housewives of New York.
- 26:12Speaker 2: No. So they're still friends?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Well, she said that he was a family friend, like
- 26:17Speaker 1: his mom's friend. So obviously there's no bad blood because
- 26:20Speaker 1: he was there. Do you think he's going to make
- 26:21Speaker 1: an appearance maybe?
- 26:22Speaker 3: No.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I bet you he does. I bet you he does
- 26:26Speaker 1: because there's been talk about it. He shows up to
- 26:28Speaker 1: the premiere party. I think we're going to see a
- 26:30Speaker 1: little John Gosling. Well, you know. We're lucky Kate plus
- 26:33Speaker 1: eight will be right behind him.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Then Kate plus eight. Then, I mean, I think I
- 26:38Speaker 3: can't even imagine John Gosling being on there, but who knows?
- 26:40Speaker 2: You never know. Stranger things have happened.
- 26:43Speaker 3: But I feel like when they're talking about Jessel and Aaron,
- 26:49Speaker 3: we see a softer side about Jessel and Aaron that
- 26:52Speaker 3: I didn't even realize.
- 26:53Speaker 2: We didn't.
- 26:54Speaker 3: It had like some bonding over their parents and they
- 26:56Speaker 3: were talking and then all of a sudden Jessel just
- 26:59Speaker 3: stops talking to Aaron. And so that's when Aaron just
- 27:01Speaker 3: goes to just, taken it as far as she can
- 27:06Speaker 3: talking about Jessel well she made.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Her sound like she's kind of like one of those
- 27:10Speaker 1: people that if you're somebody I want to be around
- 27:13Speaker 1: you so when Aaron throws out that Jessel was rude
- 27:15Speaker 1: to her dermatologist at her Moscow party but after Jessel
- 27:18Speaker 1: realized who it was she changed her tune and now
- 27:22Speaker 1: goes to him like a social climber maybe or do
- 27:26Speaker 1: you think this is just a tit.
- 27:28Speaker 3: For tat I think probably Jessel doesn't give that warm,
- 27:34Speaker 3: fuzzy feeling to new people. And probably once wanted to
- 27:39Speaker 3: go to Aaron's or Martha's or whomever it is.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Well, Aaron looks amazing. So whatever she's doing, can I
- 27:47Speaker 1: have two, please?
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll have some of that, please.
- 27:51Speaker 3: But I think that she.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I think that there's definitely some.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Where they thought there was water under the bridge and
- 28:01Speaker 3: thought that they had moved through it. And then they realized, nope,
- 28:04Speaker 3: we're back on a show. We're back doing this. We
- 28:07Speaker 3: can't be too close.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Well, what I do know, even from my own show,
- 28:10Speaker 1: which I can't speak on, but you can read between
- 28:14Speaker 1: the lines. There's certain people on cast that they don't
- 28:18Speaker 1: like you so much that they will find anything to
- 28:22Speaker 1: pick you apart and make it a bigger deal than
- 28:25Speaker 1: what it is.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 1: And I think it could be a situation like that.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Like she, can you believe she went to my dermatologist
- 28:31Speaker 1: to get Botox?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Can she, she was rude to him at the party.
- 28:36Speaker 3: And then just was like, well, yeah, I still go
- 28:38Speaker 3: to him.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah. What's the point.
- 28:42Speaker 3: But then Haley then confronts Aaron about telling Allison the
- 28:46Speaker 3: boob story.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And Aaron's like, this kind of feels like a pile on.
- 28:50Speaker 1: This kind of reminds me of. Heather Dubrow in our
- 28:55Speaker 1: season now, because she had said at one point, I
- 28:57Speaker 1: think it was in Vegas, like, do I need to
- 28:58Speaker 1: apologize to the waiter? Does anybody else need to come up?
- 29:02Speaker 1: And then Aaron talking about it as a deli worker. Hey,
- 29:06Speaker 1: number seven, what would you like to say about me?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Am I a bitch? Am I right? Number eight.
- 29:11Speaker 1: What do you have to say?
- 29:13Speaker 2: Can I have that with a side of pastrami?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Do you want an apology?
- 29:17Speaker 2: But I do like that she can, I mean, she
- 29:19Speaker 2: takes it.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Why aren't these shows do you feel like I mean
- 29:26Speaker 1: Housewives shows that they target one person and just beat
- 29:32Speaker 1: it to a dead horse well even if there's a
- 29:34Speaker 1: million other things going on they just want to I
- 29:38Speaker 1: mean I thought.
- 29:38Speaker 3: The whole point of this lunch was for Cy to
- 29:42Speaker 3: share what was going on in her life.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I really thought that that's what this lunch was for.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. I thought, oh, my gosh, she's going
- 29:49Speaker 1: through a divorce. Let's just rally around her or not
- 29:52Speaker 1: even a divorce, just separation at this point.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Right. And.
- 29:56Speaker 2: No, not all the women know about it. And nobody
- 29:58Speaker 2: said anything about it.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I thought Cy was going to tell all of them.
- 30:01Speaker 2: And that's why.
- 30:02Speaker 1: There's a couple of them going.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I don't even know why I'm here. Yeah. Some of
- 30:05Speaker 2: them did. And then when Carol laughs, she goes, happy birthday, Cy.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I know.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Well, don't worry, because Daisy switches it up and ask
- 30:15Speaker 1: Carol about love story, which is kind of like row, row.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Carol getting, you know, right back into the mix. And
- 30:22Speaker 1: she is, she's a different Carol for sure. She is
- 30:25Speaker 1: being a lot more open than she has in the past.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:28Speaker 1: I don't know if we talked about it, but on
- 30:29Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live, she said that the difference between
- 30:33Speaker 1: Carol in the early days of Roni compared to now
- 30:37Speaker 1: is she's the show drunk this year. What? And she
- 30:40Speaker 1: didn't drink.
- 30:40Speaker 2: She used the word drunk? Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 1: And she did not drink much or at all in
- 30:46Speaker 1: the early days.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Well, she's probably had a drink to get through it.
- 30:50Speaker 2: But Jessel interjects to ask if Caroline Bessette was a bitch.
- 30:54Speaker 3: And you can see at this point, this is when
- 30:57Speaker 3: Carol's eyes like switch.
- 30:59Speaker 1: What a horrible thing to say.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Like that is her best friend who passed away.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Like that is just a horrible thing to say. I mean,
- 31:09Speaker 1: there's different ways you could have worded it.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Like, you know, I don't know. Like, what was she like?
- 31:15Speaker 1: What was she like? Was she lovely? Like, did the
- 31:18Speaker 1: press hound her? Like, all these things.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Did you think that the show was true to life? Like,
- 31:24Speaker 3: how much were we actually saying? Like, there could have
- 31:26Speaker 3: been a million ways to say it.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Then she doubles down and goes, do you think there's
- 31:31Speaker 1: a curse on the family?
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:33Speaker 1: She was married to somebody in that family that passed away.
- 31:36Speaker 1: You're going to say, is it a curse that made
- 31:37Speaker 1: him pass away?
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah. And then even after Carol admits, she's like, you
- 31:42Speaker 2: know what?
- 31:42Speaker 3: I don't like this whole Carolyn Bessette summer type thing.
- 31:47Speaker 2: And then she's like, why? You're dressed just like her
- 31:49Speaker 2: right now.
- 31:50Speaker 1: She was just flat out rude.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Yeah. And then I think that Carol wanted to blow up.
- 31:58Speaker 3: But instead, she was just like, I'm going to leave.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I think, you know, even in her early days and Roni,
- 32:04Speaker 1: she didn't really want to talk about the Kennedy's. No,
- 32:08Speaker 1: she didn't really like it. And I'm sure the Kennedys
- 32:10Speaker 1: didn't want her talking about them.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, why would I think it doesn't behoove
- 32:16Speaker 3: her to talk about that?
- 32:17Speaker 1: If you were Carol, would you have watched Love Story?
- 32:21Speaker 2: I don't know if I could have. I understood what
- 32:23Speaker 2: she said.
- 32:23Speaker 3: She said I was with one of our best friends
- 32:25Speaker 3: and we watched about five minutes of it.
- 32:27Speaker 2: And then that was all we could take.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Because I did hear that what we saw was very
- 32:31Speaker 3: different than the truth.
- 32:33Speaker 2: And it probably does get frustrating sometimes.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Well, I do remember there was... I did watch it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: And there was a scene where they were all at
- 32:41Speaker 1: the grandmother's house. And they're at a table. And there
- 32:44Speaker 1: was a girl there. Her name was Carol.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 1: And I don't know if that was supposed to be Carol.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know either.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Or somebody else. Yeah. But.
- 32:55Speaker 3: It kind of, it just leaves you feeling like a
- 32:58Speaker 3: little on edge about this conversation. Like, I don't think
- 33:01Speaker 3: that Jessel is going to stop with this. I think
- 33:04Speaker 3: Jessel is going to keep prodding because she knows she
- 33:06Speaker 3: hit a hot spot.
- 33:07Speaker 2: She had like.
- 33:08Speaker 1: This very weird look on her face when she was
- 33:11Speaker 1: asking these questions. Like, I know this is going to
- 33:14Speaker 1: cause problems. Yeah. Like there was zero compassion. Carol loved
- 33:18Speaker 1: her husband best friends.
- 33:20Speaker 3: They show her in a scene before and she's like,
- 33:22Speaker 3: I want you to think everything Carol and Bessette.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Everything. Yeah.
- 33:28Speaker 3: So it's almost like she's just a little, a little obsessed.
- 33:31Speaker 2: A little obsessed.
- 33:33Speaker 1: And then doing what she was not having it. And
- 33:36Speaker 1: she just decides like, I want to go home before
- 33:38Speaker 1: the titty show. I'm just going to get out of here.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I can't even stay with Jessel. I can't even watch
- 33:43Speaker 1: the show.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 2: She's done.
- 33:46Speaker 3: I think she's somebody that she's like, I'll only.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Put up with so much. And then I'm out of here.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Well, I think she wanted to kill her.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Clearly.
- 33:54Speaker 3: She's like, shut up, Jessel. Um, but then they, they
- 33:57Speaker 3: start to have a little bit of the show. And
- 33:59Speaker 3: during this, even though Jessel and Aaron squash things, Erica clocks,
- 34:04Speaker 3: Aaron talking shit about Jessel to Daisy and thinks maybe
- 34:08Speaker 3: Jessel was right about her.
- 34:10Speaker 2: This is actually pretty funny. I mean, we're at the
- 34:12Speaker 2: same event.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 2: And clearly what happened is we know what she said.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Cause I don't know what she said. What was Aaron?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Pretty much the same kind of things.
- 34:21Speaker 3: But I think what happened was Daisy was trying to
- 34:23Speaker 3: get the backstory and And so Aaron was just telling her. So, like,
- 34:27Speaker 3: I said this and this and this and this, but, like,
- 34:29Speaker 3: we couldn't.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Hear all that.
- 34:30Speaker 1: That's not really talking shit. I think that's just.
- 34:32Speaker 2: She was giving her the rundown. Yeah. But it came
- 34:35Speaker 2: off as.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Talking shit.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Talking shit. But I did see that Erica's getting a
- 34:42Speaker 2: little bit more involved.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Well, we didn't really get to see much of her
- 34:47Speaker 1: in the first episode. She was only at the end party, so.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm wondering how much her.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Husband is going to film and you.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Have a very, I mean, he showed a picture.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I know. I'm wondering if that's about all we're going
- 35:01Speaker 1: to get to see of him. Cause you know, very
- 35:03Speaker 1: wealthy men, they don't want a part of this show.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him at all. Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 2: And he's a tight guy, right?
- 35:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah. And then also who put it in there that, um,
- 35:16Speaker 3: Jessel's husband didn't stay till the end of her party.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Someone gave us that.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I can't remember, but I don't see anything wrong with that.
- 35:25Speaker 1: They have kids. You probably want to get home.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I mean, but I like this being kind of a
- 35:30Speaker 2: small cast.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I guess seven isn't that small, but it feels small
- 35:35Speaker 3: to me compared to some of these other housewives.
- 35:37Speaker 1: It's six, isn't it? Didn't they have three?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Four, five, six, seven. With Carol, it's seven.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Oh, with Carol. That's right. I forgot.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I think it's a good cast.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I think it's a good cast. I think everybody is
- 35:49Speaker 3: giving us a little bit of what we want. I
- 35:51Speaker 3: want to actually hear more from Cy. I want Cy
- 35:54Speaker 3: to get involved in the conversation.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I think Cy... Oh, trust me.
- 35:57Speaker 1: She will.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Yeah. I think she's so.
- 35:59Speaker 1: She's not very shy.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:01Speaker 3: She's so wrapped up in what's going on in her life,
- 36:03Speaker 3: which I would you know, understand why that she's just like, okay,
- 36:09Speaker 3: this is my entertainment to come out and watch these
- 36:11Speaker 3: other idiots fight.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Do you think her husband is going to film? And
- 36:17Speaker 1: do you think he's going to sign to let her
- 36:20Speaker 1: daughter film? Or she's got two kids, two kids.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I don't think, I don't think that her, her husband
- 36:26Speaker 2: is going to film.
- 36:27Speaker 3: And I don't think that her kids are going to
- 36:28Speaker 3: film either.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Cause we've now seen her at her house.
- 36:32Speaker 1: And we haven't seen any kids.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Have we seen kids? No, we didn't see any kids.
- 36:36Speaker 1: No, I get confused with Instagram because I see her
- 36:39Speaker 1: and her daughter on Instagram all the time.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Yeah. So I think we've seen her twice on at
- 36:43Speaker 3: her house. But I mean, the kids could be at school.
- 36:46Speaker 3: There could be a multitude of reasons. But if I
- 36:49Speaker 3: was that ex, I wouldn't go on.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:53Speaker 1: And a lot of men get bitter and they won't sign.
- 36:55Speaker 2: And yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 3: I mean, I think from what we saw of their relationship,
- 37:01Speaker 3: I was shocked when they broke up.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I think everybody was, but she also said that she
- 37:06Speaker 1: was hiding a lot from the cameras.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:09Speaker 3: So, I mean, but if you're still willing to hide
- 37:13Speaker 3: a lot, then you're still wanting to protect a lot.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Because the repercussions of what happens afterwards. Yeah, that's true.
- 37:22Speaker 1: But I think if you're in a marriage like that,
- 37:24Speaker 1: and it's kind of like, you know, when I was
- 37:26Speaker 1: with my ex, I was in a marriage that wasn't
- 37:28Speaker 1: good and I would protect him.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Even though, you know, the cameras caught a lot. Just
- 37:34Speaker 1: because I didn't want to hear the backlash of it.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Well, I can say that I was scared that I
- 37:40Speaker 3: wasn't going to like this new cast together, that I
- 37:42Speaker 3: wanted it to be the way it was before.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Well, I will say that a lot of people feel
- 37:48Speaker 1: that way. And a lot of people I've seen, they're like,
- 37:50Speaker 1: I'm not even going to watch. I only like the originals.
- 37:53Speaker 1: And I think, guys, it's a really good show.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Me too. That's what I was going to say. I
- 37:58Speaker 2: was wrong.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I was wrong.
- 38:00Speaker 2: It's good.
- 38:01Speaker 1: We watched the premiere and we were both so pleasantly
- 38:04Speaker 1: surprised because, you know, for the past couple of years,
- 38:07Speaker 1: it wasn't good. And of course it was always compared
- 38:11Speaker 1: to the original cast, but I feel like there's a
- 38:15Speaker 1: new wave of housewives coming in.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And I feel like the way that these women
- 38:20Speaker 3: are operating together. And I feel like the fact that
- 38:22Speaker 3: we're able to see such different lifestyles to me, like,
- 38:26Speaker 3: You know, normally when you're in Beverly Hills, you're not
- 38:28Speaker 3: seeing one person that lives in a place that has
- 38:31Speaker 3: popcorn ceilings.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Like, you know, like everybody's kind of in the same. Yeah. Situation.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 1: But I do think overall in Housewives, we're seeing a change.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I think we're seeing before recasting didn't work out. And
- 38:48Speaker 1: now we have new shows like Salt Lake City, which
- 38:51Speaker 1: is now like what, six or seven years old, which
- 38:53Speaker 1: that one worked out. We have Rhode Island.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:56Speaker 1: We, you know, we have Roni that basically has, except
- 38:59Speaker 1: for Carol, a pretty, a newer cast.
- 39:03Speaker 3: And I do think Carol is necessary to come in
- 39:07Speaker 3: for the show, I think, because it puts kind of
- 39:10Speaker 3: all of the women slightly on edge. Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I mean, I think that Carol is not like the rest.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Yeah. I agree.
- 39:21Speaker 1: And yeah, I mean, we'll see how it goes, but
- 39:25Speaker 1: so far it's great.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I know, I love it. I love it.
- 39:30Speaker 3: But, you know, I think we keep watching. How many
- 39:33Speaker 3: episodes do we have of New York this year?
- 39:36Speaker 1: I don't know. Sometimes after a pause, they do 12
- 39:39Speaker 1: or something.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Yeah. But I don't know. But I think I think,
- 39:43Speaker 3: you know, I like everybody. I think everybody's doing what
- 39:46Speaker 3: they need to do. It's funny that no matter what,
- 39:49Speaker 3: Erin can do no wrong in my eyes.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think it was good. All in all,
- 39:54Speaker 2: it was good. I'm happy with it.
- 39:57Speaker 3: I feel like compared to some of the other shows
- 39:59Speaker 3: that we have watched, this is a pleasant treat.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Thanks for tuning in, guys.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Thanks for tuning in, guys. We appreciate y'all. Talk to
- 40:11Speaker 2: you soon.
