  SPEAKER_07: It's so true that everyone visits Las Vegas, I mean, mostly everyone, uh, at some point in their life.

  SPEAKER_07: So um, they want to know about Las Vegas, and we're realizing that, you know, more and more that the variety of information that we talk about, the guests that we're interviewing, is of interest to everyone around the world.

  SPEAKER_07: Really fun show over at the Flamingo, brand new.

  SPEAKER_07: You and I were on the red carpet uh for the opening night.

  SPEAKER_07: That was kind of cool, because sometimes when they do red carpets and media nights and that kind of thing, they wait a few shows in.

  SPEAKER_07: But they just, you know, RuPaul's like, nope, we're just doing it.

  SPEAKER_04: Rip the band-aid off.

  SPEAKER_04: And uh, and what was exciting about it is, I mean, it looked to me like they were shooting the red carpet for the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race that's coming out uh the last week of February on VH1.

  SPEAKER_04: Uh it's an all-new cast, season 12.

  SPEAKER_04: It's an Emmy winning show now.
• 3:22
  SPEAKER_04: But I mean, it's that show has gotten so popular and so uh really embraced by the masses that RuPaul was able to break off into a stage show here in Vegas.

  SPEAKER_07: I know, and it's really cool.

  SPEAKER_07: Now, most people know RuPaul's drag race.

  SPEAKER_07: Uh for some that don't, because somebody did ask me, like, oh, you're going to a drag race, like uh like cars?

  SPEAKER_07: I'm like, no.

  SPEAKER_04: It's not at the speedway.

  SPEAKER_07: You are not updated on RuPaul.

  SPEAKER_07: Yeah.

  SPEAKER_07: So, um, like you said, TV show, and they compete against each other, right?

  SPEAKER_07: And for kind of the best drag queen of by the end of the episode or season.

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, think of it as kind of like in America's next top model kind of deal.

  SPEAKER_04: They have challenges, they have to put their own outfits together, and they have time constraints to do it all.

  SPEAKER_04: Plus, they're kind of they're working in the same uh workroom, so there you know that when there's a dozen drag queens in a workroom, there's gonna be drama that's built into that too.

  SPEAKER_04: But the the message behind the show is really one of acceptance and uh it's just really fun, and that's the same kind of energy that you get inside the Flamingo showroom here in Vegas.

  SPEAKER_07: Definitely, and the red carpet was full of energy too.

  SPEAKER_07: You could just tell they are so excited to be a part of this show.

  SPEAKER_07: We actually, you know, chatted with them uh about you know what what it feels like to be a part of something so big.

  SPEAKER_07: Because when you when you get to Vegas, it's a big deal.

  SPEAKER_04: So check out what they had to say about launching this production on the strip.

  SPEAKER_00: And this show is something that our our country needs right now, and it's just a time to come in and sit around amongst a lot of people that may not be from the same places as you, um geographically, economically, socially.

  SPEAKER_00: Um and so it's it's just a nice opportunity to come in, being a room, be in a room with people from all different walks of life, and just forget about everything that's going on and have a good time.

  SPEAKER_06: You know, over the years drag queens have made a bigger name for themselves, just like RuPaul did.

  SPEAKER_06: And so I feel like the art of celebrity impersonation was almost getting lost.

  SPEAKER_06: So to be here and uh to be acknowledged and be a part of the cast of six is like a dream come true.

  SPEAKER_06: And it's showing everybody out there that we need to keep this alive.

  SPEAKER_06: I mean, Vegas was built on impersonators and how entertaining it is to watch someone that you have nostalgic kind of uh growing up with, or nostalgia growing up with, and I get to bring that to life and do so much more in the show, so it's very exciting.

  SPEAKER_01: And we've been reading, we've been working for months at the show, so it's just it's so good because we've taken the time to make it perfect.

  SPEAKER_01: And if you love Ruby Hall Drag Race, then you're gonna love what we've done for you guys here.

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't think the showroom has ever seen anything quite like this production.

  SPEAKER_04: And but what they did with the stage and the visual aspect of the show really is spectacular, and it is not like anything.

  SPEAKER_04: I've seen a lot of shows in that theater, and uh this kind of like visually blows away everything else that I've seen in there.

  SPEAKER_07: And the fun part, we sat behind the man himself, RuPaul.

  SPEAKER_04: Like right behind.

  SPEAKER_04: You could take your cocktail straw and like poke him on the shoulder.

  SPEAKER_07: I mean, but what fun to see his reaction to the show that he put together.

  SPEAKER_07: Um it was so much fun.

  SPEAKER_07: I mean, he was clapping, he was laughing, and just enjoying the performances so much.

  SPEAKER_07: I actually felt it was like really heartwarming to see someone be so proud of, you know, what he's created.

  SPEAKER_07: And then he just keeps taking it to the next level.

  SPEAKER_04: Obviously, RuPaul's Drag Race Live is the newest production to come here, but there have been just kind of like an avalanche of show announcements over the past several days, and a couple of them are actually kind of lining up right with NFL Draft Weekend here on the strip.

  SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I mean, just what, one, two, three, four, four shows dropped last week, uh just announcements that they're coming.

  SPEAKER_07: And one of them is uh someone who's returning, Pitbull.

  SPEAKER_07: Uh great show at Zappos Theater.

  SPEAKER_07: He's coming back for Get Ready Vegas, and that's gonna be April 22nd, 24th, and 25th.

  SPEAKER_07: And that is that whole NFL draft weekend where we're expected to have, no, no, no, now they're saying numbers of 700,000 people coming to Las Vegas.

  SPEAKER_07: Then he's gonna be back September 10th and 11th.

  SPEAKER_07: And let me tell you, I've seen his show twice, Mr.

  SPEAKER_07: Worldwide, and Or Mr.

  SPEAKER_04: However, you want to refer to him.

  SPEAKER_07: It is just, you know, all the songs, the dancers are on fire, he's coming down the stairs doing his signature pit bull moves, and it's just a fun, fun night out.

  SPEAKER_04: It's it really is a ton of fun.

  SPEAKER_04: This is uh Pitbull's sixth consecutive year doing shows over at the Zappos Theater, so it is.

  SPEAKER_04: He um he also launched a charter school here in uh the Las Vegas Valley as well, so he's got a vested interest in Las Vegas.

  SPEAKER_04: Another entertainer who we see coming back over NFL Draft Weekend is Adam Lambert.

  SPEAKER_04: We put it out on on Twitter, and man, the retweets, the likes, the comments, everyone going nuts over Adam Lambert, and for good reason, because he's a phenomenal entertainer.

  SPEAKER_04: We last saw him here in Las Vegas.

  SPEAKER_04: He was headlining at the park theater as the lead singer of Queen.

  SPEAKER_07: Right, yeah, and I think he's done a a bunch of different kind of uh festivals that they've had here, maybe some of them um private for conferences and stuff, but I know I live across from Las Vegas festival grounds, and he was over there at one point.

  SPEAKER_07: I think he did the show with Queen too at T-Mobile at some point, didn't he?

  SPEAKER_07: So I mean you're gonna get close, you're gonna get an incredible experience, and he too will be April 22nd to the 25th.

  SPEAKER_07: So we've got something down at Planet Hollywood, Pitbull, and we've got Adam Lambert uh here at the Venetian, where we are actually sitting right now, and you've got a great variety there for anyone.

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean it was already gonna be a packed over-the-top weekend, but add these entertainers into the bicks, and that just takes it way over the top.

  SPEAKER_04: And there is one guy who can definitely do that with his dancing, and that's Derek Huff.

  SPEAKER_04: We've seen them uh touring together, but now Derek is putting his own show together for for Las Vegas.

  SPEAKER_07: Right, and it's gonna be uh from June to November in the Flamingo Showroom.

  SPEAKER_07: And Debbie, you know, her hits through the years, is incredible, incredible singer and songwriter, and she has a new song out, and she shot a new music video for it at Planet Hollywood recently and invited Vegas Revealed to come behind the scenes.

  SPEAKER_07: It's her song called Girls Night Out, and she's had it remixed by DJ Tracy Young, and it is flying up the dance charts.

  SPEAKER_07: So we're really, really excited for her, and she thought, you know what, I need to do a video for this, and I live in Vegas, and why not?

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and we spent pretty much the entire day with Debbie on the set of her uh video over at Planet Hollywood.

  SPEAKER_04: There's showgirls, there's drag queens, there's nightclubs, there's casino table action.

  SPEAKER_04: It's I mean, it's a very Vegas video.

  SPEAKER_07: And she looked amazing, and the outfits that she changed into.

  SPEAKER_07: Uh, it's coming together, and it's supposed to be out, I believe, in just a couple weeks, so it's gonna be really, really good.

  SPEAKER_07: But she did um just kind of show us around even her suite and and took us behind the scenes.

  SPEAKER_02: A lot of our earlier shows were played at the Hard Rock, and uh to have the memorabilia from On Top of the World, which was a really fun music video that we filmed uh at the Hard Rock, meant a lot to us.

  SPEAKER_02: So it was pretty amazing and definitely played a big role in our career.

  SPEAKER_07: I mean, it's such a romantic city with all the lights and the really cool places that we have here in town.

  SPEAKER_07: And we, of course, always have new hip restaurants and you know, cutting-edge stuff, but I wanted to mention for one of my secret tips, uh, some of the places, at least a couple of them that I've loved and gone to through the 15 years uh that I've lived here, that I think are I don't necessarily know that they're hidden gems, but a lot of times people don't know about it that are tourists or coming to visit.

  SPEAKER_07: And actually, one of them I mentioned, and Sean, you didn't know uh what it was, and I was talking about uh Cappos restaurant and speakeasy on Sahara, just to the west of the strip.

  SPEAKER_04: So I don't know about it.

  SPEAKER_07: So I love that.

  SPEAKER_07: Yeah, there's always new places.

  SPEAKER_07: So you go to the door and you have to knock on the door, first of all, to be let into the restaurant, and they lift the little like peekole thing and ask your name and like make sure that you're supposed to be there.

  SPEAKER_04: Oh, so this is like super prohibition style.

  SPEAKER_04: I love it.

  SPEAKER_07: So it's great, and when you go inside, it's dark, they have live music most of the time, and they have these incredible spicy meatballs that oh, it's just it's the the Italian meatball, dripping in sauce, and then and then this incredible spices, and really, really good Italian food there as well.

  SPEAKER_07: So I really recommend that for a spot for Valentine's Day.

  SPEAKER_04: And let me tell you, I'm just gonna chime in here because since they have Italian food and Dana is putting her stamp of approval on the Italian food, I mean Dana comes from a house where the sauce simmers all day.

  SPEAKER_07: Oh, all 7 a.m.

  SPEAKER_07: you smell it.

  SPEAKER_07: And the sauce and the tomatoes are also grown in the garden in the summer, canned, and then used for the sauce that lasts all winter long.

  SPEAKER_07: Um, another spot I wanted to mention was Hugo's Cellar, a classic Vegas spot, but it's in downtown Las Vegas, uh, right along Fremont in Four Queens, okay?

  SPEAKER_07: So here's the deal you go into Four Queens and then you go down these stairs.

  SPEAKER_07: And Hugo's Cellar, first of all, the wait staff is incredible because they've been there a very long time and they have great Vegas stories as well.

  SPEAKER_07: And they do this table aside Caesar, and usually I believe you always get a rose too.

  SPEAKER_07: It's super romantic, and it's just so old school that I think it's just the perfect spot for Valentine's Day.

  SPEAKER_04: And I don't think a lot of people would think of the the Four Queens as a Valentine's Day spot.

  SPEAKER_07: Mm-hmm.

  SPEAKER_07: So, and you said you what you've been to someplace at Binions, right?

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's the the top of Binion's steakhouse.

  SPEAKER_04: It's up on like the 16th or 20 something floor.

  SPEAKER_04: It's on the top floor of the Binions Tower, and it's just got floor to ceiling windows, so a panoramic view of all the old downtown Las Vegas, and that's another one that's just a real classic steakhouse, the brass rail.

  SPEAKER_04: So it kind of takes you back in time a little bit.

  SPEAKER_04: Again, the weight staff has been there forever and they're really great.

  SPEAKER_07: Now, now we recommend these places that you're gonna have a great night, but we can't guarantee um it's gonna be, you know, a Valentine's Day that's gonna last forever.

  SPEAKER_07: Because believe me, I've been to all these places and um none of those people I'm know still still with to this day.

  SPEAKER_07: So they were fun nights, but you know, you know, we can't we're just wanting we're not putting our stamp of approval that everything's gonna go.

  SPEAKER_07: But the meal was great.

  SPEAKER_07: No, uh really great places, lots of great memories.

  SPEAKER_07: So if you're in town for Valentine's Day, you know, those might be one of some maybe a few of the spots that you want to try or at least check out one of them.

  SPEAKER_07: Okay, so now to my tip.

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.

  SPEAKER_04: So you know you go and look at at ticket prices for like a concert or a sporting event, and you're like, uh I I just can't justify pulling the trigger on that right now.

  SPEAKER_04: But there's a great way to get those same tickets for a lot less.

  SPEAKER_04: If you look on uh sites like StubHub, I've done this for uh Golden Knights Games here in uh here in Las Vegas, down at T-Mobile Arena.

  SPEAKER_04: I've gone out there, there's some great bars and restaurants out there.

  SPEAKER_04: You go down there, have lunch or dinner and early dinner, whatever.

  SPEAKER_04: Keep the app open because these are are people who actually have the tickets and they want to sell them.

  SPEAKER_04: If you get close to game time, a lot of times people will start reducing the price that they're asking because they just want to end up getting something right for their tickets.

  SPEAKER_07: Okay, so you've done it.

  SPEAKER_04: So I've done it.

  SPEAKER_04: I've gotten Golden Knights tickets for as low as like 35 bucks.

  SPEAKER_07: Wow.

  SPEAKER_04: Which is really good.

  SPEAKER_04: They, I mean, usually they're at least 75.

  SPEAKER_04: That's for like upper deck.

  SPEAKER_07: So did you get like decent seats for that?

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, got great seats.

  SPEAKER_04: And there was another time I wasn't quick enough on the draw, but there was um like seats down right in that that first area behind the glass, and they were going for something like 25 bucks.

  SPEAKER_04: Someone was just really wanting to offload those tickets.

  SPEAKER_07: So how soon to so how close to game time was that?

  SPEAKER_07: Like a half hour out, 15 minutes out?

  SPEAKER_04: Uh, it was pretty close.

  SPEAKER_04: Okay.

  SPEAKER_04: It was between a half hour and 15 minutes.

  SPEAKER_04: It was still enough time, and even uh the first few minutes of the first period, um, I think they start cutting off ticket sales at midway through the first period.

  SPEAKER_04: Okay, I believe.

  SPEAKER_04: Um but if you just are patient and you waited out until game time, you could find some really good deals on tickets.

  SPEAKER_04: Same thing goes for for concerts, but be warned that not everything you get on StubHub or these uh third-party ticketing sites are legit.

  SPEAKER_04: So just go into it knowing that there is risk involved when you are going to use those kind of apps.

  SPEAKER_07: But I did hear a story of one of my former co-workers.

  SPEAKER_07: He went to Bruce Springsteen.

  SPEAKER_07: They happened to go to dinner, they were near the T-Mobile Arena, they did the same thing, and literally 15 minutes before the show, they got incredible seats for I can't remember the price, but I remember going, what?

  SPEAKER_07: It was literally, I don't even think it was more than$50.

  SPEAKER_07: So they got great seats too.

  SPEAKER_07: So they did exactly what you did for a concert, and he just raved about it.

  SPEAKER_07: And there was like four of them or something, and they went and saw Bruce Bringstein.

  SPEAKER_07: I think they were on the side next to the stage.

  SPEAKER_07: They were like, it was incredible.

  SPEAKER_07: So it is something to look into.

  SPEAKER_07: If you if you want to try and get inside T-Mobile, it might be something that you can't afford at the time, go hang out, have a hot dog, and then keep checking some of these apps.
