- 5:24Speaker 3: fail to own up to doing this after they have
- 5:28Speaker 3: committed such a sin?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Oh Lord, what is the sin that these people need
- 5:33Speaker 2: to beg their higher power for forgiveness? For you may
- 5:37Speaker 2: be shocked, You might be guilty of that. You'll find
- 5:39Speaker 2: out what it is next hang out. I don't know
- 5:41Speaker 2: if you saw this floating around the internet this week.
- 5:44Speaker 2: There's a new study out that has found that over
- 5:48Speaker 2: half of the people they pulled fail to own up
- 5:52Speaker 2: after they hit a car. Like in the parking lot
- 5:54Speaker 2: Toby and Chilly in the morning on ninety seven point
- 5:56Speaker 2: one wasch FM for the breakdown, Chili.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Nearly sixty percent of drivers who hit another car did
- 6:03Speaker 3: not report the incident or leave their information. Only forty
- 6:08Speaker 3: three percent admitted to owning up. Now, I know you
- 6:10Speaker 3: had kind of told me. I didn't hear all the details,
- 6:12Speaker 3: but you said this happened to you recently.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Once upon a time at a best Buy, I parked
- 6:17Speaker 2: in front of the store, and apparently somebody who I
- 6:21Speaker 2: guess came in after me, parked next to me and
- 6:24Speaker 2: decided they wanted to add racing stripes to my ride.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Oh no, they pulled in. It looks like it was
- 6:29Speaker 2: too tight. But in a stroke of pure luck, Chili,
- 6:32Speaker 2: there was a good samaritan who saw what went down
- 6:35Speaker 2: and left me an out and said, Hey, that car
- 6:36Speaker 2: next to you hit your car. Here's their license plate number.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Here's the car that it is. So I sat there
- 6:42Speaker 2: and they were still next to me. So I backed
- 6:44Speaker 2: my car out, parked right behind them so they couldn't move,
- 6:47Speaker 2: and I waited, hopefully that bad karma came back to
- 6:50Speaker 2: haunt Chili.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I know, I've never been in a situation where I've
- 6:53Speaker 3: done any kind of damage in a parking lot or
- 6:56Speaker 3: garage to another car, But I feel like most people
- 6:59Speaker 3: kind of do a quick little once over and they say, hm,
- 7:03Speaker 3: that's really not much. I'm not going to leave a note.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I feel like if it was really bad damage, I
- 7:07Speaker 3: hope that people would, but clearly they don't.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I think you have to let the person who you
- 7:12Speaker 2: you know, who you hit, be the one to say, oh,
- 7:14Speaker 2: it's not bad, it's not bad, don't worry about it, you.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Know what I mean?
- 7:17Speaker 2: As it a perfect world, sure, in the perfect world,
- 7:19Speaker 2: but of course the world is not perfect. So have
- 7:22Speaker 2: you ever had this happen to you? Have you been
- 7:24Speaker 2: one of those people that hit a car and then
- 7:27Speaker 2: it was like, there's nothing wrong with it, I'm out,

- 12:01Speaker 2: dads maybe have this sort of problem. I don't know.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Can you explain it to me like I'm two years old.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Ashley Tisdale wrote an article or an essay and she
- 12:10Speaker 3: talked about how she had to recently leave a toxic
- 12:13Speaker 3: mom group and it was made up with a bunch
- 12:15Speaker 3: of celebrity monks. She didn't name any specific names, but
- 12:18Speaker 3: people figured out that this particular mom group had Hillary
- 12:21Speaker 3: Duff in it, Megan Traynor in it, and what she
- 12:24Speaker 3: kind of accused him of is excluding her from certain things,
- 12:28Speaker 3: also making her feel like she needed to conform or
- 12:32Speaker 3: change your opinions to fit in. I don't think that's
- 12:35Speaker 3: that uncommon. Thankfully, I've never been part of a toxic
- 12:39Speaker 3: mom group, but I know people have.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Yeah, That's what I was going to ask you, is
- 12:43Speaker 2: have you ever been And you just answered the question. Now,

- 12:51Speaker 2: become toxic. I don't know. Maybe there were stuff said
- 12:54Speaker 2: behind my back, but I don't know the toxic mom group.

- 13:09Speaker 2: you had a problem with some soccer moms.
- 13:10Speaker 5: Yes, oh my god, everybody wants to give these kids trophies.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 13:15Speaker 3: I don't believe in participation trophies.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Well, it got so heated that one woman just threw
- 13:21Speaker 5: something at me gone out of the group.
- 13:23Speaker 2: That was this uch.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Moms can't agree for fighting over everything. Well here's another
- 13:28Speaker 3: reason I'm glad my kid's not into sports. Wow, Darling,
- 13:33Speaker 3: that is intense.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I mean, like, remove yourself from the equation for your
- 13:38Speaker 2: own sanity. Wow. Thank you for sharing that with us
- 13:41Speaker 2: this morning eight sixty six nineteen seven forty three sixty one.

- 13:48Speaker 2: Chilly in the Morning continues. It really does seem like
- 13:51Speaker 2: the story that won't end every day. There's something new

- 14:00Speaker 2: maybe ladies you can relate to mom group drama. Eight
- 14:04Speaker 2: sixty six, nineteen seven forty three sixty one is the
- 14:06Speaker 2: number in the talkback microphones wide open for you who
- 14:08Speaker 2: are listening on your iHeart app and signed in this morning.
- 14:11Speaker 3: So Ashley Tisdale when She said she had to leave
- 14:13Speaker 3: a toxic mom group. She didn't name names. People just
- 14:17Speaker 3: put two and two together and figured out who some
- 14:19Speaker 3: of the moms were in that group, Megan Trainer among them. Well,
- 14:23Speaker 3: Megan finally this week was like making posts on social
- 14:26Speaker 3: media saying I'm not involved in any of this drama.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I can just see Megan training both hands up like this,
- 14:34Speaker 2: Stop everybody, not me. I'm not involved. I didn't have

- 15:16Speaker 2: sits You Baby Mama Drama. Thank you Sharon for the call.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Eight sixty six nine two seven three sixty one. Beth,
- 15:25Speaker 2: good morning, and Laurel, thank you for listening to us.
- 15:28Speaker 5: The trouble with mom groups is there's always a one
- 15:30Speaker 5: up factor, oh the whole one up thing, trying to compete,
- 15:34Speaker 5: make yourself better, somebody who always has to be, you know,
- 15:37Speaker 5: the bigger person and usually is the most outrageous or
- 15:42Speaker 5: inconsiderate one. So then sometimes you just have to talk
- 15:45Speaker 5: them back, then take him aside quietly and tell them
- 15:48Speaker 5: to knock it all.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Sharon, Thank you, Chili. Have you ever been in that
- 15:51Speaker 2: sort of a situation in a mom group? No, thankfully not, huh.
