Latest / Podcast - Big 98.7 / Worst Movie Remakes Ever
Transcript
- 0:00Think about the worst movie remakes you've ever seen. I want to know,
- 0:02though, is there actually a movie remake you enjoyed? Because I know everybody
- 0:05rips on Hollywood for not coming up with any original ideas, But I do
- 0:09love a sequel, you know me, wells are totally different. Yes,
- 0:13as far as remikes go. I loved Dirty Dancing, so I thought Dirty
- 0:17Dancing Havana nights like that would be decent. No like Bleach Stinker. Yeah,
- 0:22it's just like no Footloose. You know, there's a couple of them.
- 0:24It's like, there's no reason to redo this now. I have not
- 0:28seen the new Mean Girls. It's in theaters right now. But when I
- 0:31brought my kids the other day to see Migration, there was a part of
- 0:35me like, gosh, this just to be kind of fun, the nostalgic,
- 0:37like, oh, let's go. It's totally different. Yes, like
- 0:41no, thanks? All right? So I have the list of the six
- 0:43worst movie remakes of all time. Number six, Amanda was the Lion King.
- 0:49Yeah, that's a classic. You don't want to mess with. I
- 0:51remember when they now say we're doing this live action remake, and I was
- 0:55actually very excited because the cast was crazy yep. Beyonce, Yeah, Donald
- 1:00Glover. It was like Nyla, Nya, Nyla that I know I'll get,
- 1:06So Simba, we'll start there, got Mufasa, we got Nala Nala.
- 1:10There you go. Yep. It's one of those things. And this
- 1:11is a trend in my life. I get real excited about something and then
- 1:15I don't even go see it. You know. No, I get that.
- 1:17They did the Aladdin one too, and everyone saw that. So the
- 1:19live action ones for me, the only one that I've seen actually is The
- 1:23Lion King. I don't care for it. I prefer the animation. Called
- 1:26me old school. Those are typically better. Beauty and the beast they did
- 1:30it, which is it's all fairy tale stuff. It is easier to depict
- 1:34in an animation. I mean, listen, you go for the animation,
- 1:37you stay for the soundtrack. I mean, come on. This takes me
- 1:42back because when we were growing up, it was either you'd play in band
- 1:47or you would be singing an inquire. Heck, yeah, we did this
- 1:49whole Lion King montage and the DGF band. Oh great, Willie Walker comes
- 1:53in at number five, Willie Walker in the Chocolate Factory and then of course
- 1:57that was back in seventy one with Gene Wilder. That things a classic,
- 2:00obviously, and then they did the remake in two thousand and five and that
- 2:05was a complete stinker. Now it's interesting because they're doing the remake currently,
- 2:07Timothy Shallomet who we've been talking about Gay's Wonka in the new movie Wonka too
- 2:12Many, Like they're just trying to reinvigorate it and do it over and over
- 2:15and over again. I just know number four worst movie remakes of all time.
- 2:20A nightmare on Elm Street. We just talked about this fun fact.
- 2:23Never saw the first one. There's so many. There's a ton are they?
- 2:27I love. I was obsessed with as a kid because it was the
- 2:30first movie to ever really traumatize me. Is one of the original ones?
- 2:32Is Freddy Krueger guy? I mean, come on, yeah, bumped up?
- 2:36So as a kid, I would torture myself by renting them every time
- 2:38we'd go to a cash fis video or whatever. But now they did the
- 2:40remake in twenty ten and I saw it. I actually thought it was pretty
- 2:45good. Really yeah, I really did. Okay. Samantha, by the
- 2:47way, chiming in on Facebook, she said the remake of Wonka. Yeah,
- 2:51that was pretty good. She really enjoyed that. She said the worst
- 2:54remake though, was overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldiehan. She said, leave
- 2:58it to the professionals. But she's also not a anim Ferris Fana Ferris.
- 3:00Wasn't that they redid the other one? Yeah? She was great and scary
- 3:05movies one, two, and three. Isn't that kind of where she became
- 3:08famous? Absolutely, that's that's who she is. Come on, I know
- 3:12she's done other stuffy the bombs or whatever, but come on, Cindy,
- 3:15that's good stuff. Number three of the worst movie remakes. They just did
- 3:19this one. White Man Can't Jump. Oh, that's right with Channing Tatum.
- 3:22Yeah, we know it was. The dude is a rapper guy,
- 3:27white guy. He wears a new Balances. What's his name? Just a
- 3:30herd. I really out to look the stuff up before we go on air.
- 3:34Tell me you we forget it's easy, Jack Carlow, Jack Carlo,
- 3:37there you go. I didn't see the original one either, but I think
- 3:38that was that Bill Murray or is that a I think so? Number two
- 3:43worst movie remakes of all time, and a lot of people have an opinion
- 3:46about this one, the Karate Kid, karate Kid, Machio, whatever they
- 3:52did, you were thinking Woody Harrelson for people seeing their minds about Bill Murray,
- 3:55Yeah, definitely not. Wasn't it Will Smith's kid in the New One?
- 3:59I think so? Yeah, which is probably why the likability factor there
- 4:02was, poor kid, nobody likes him, and you Field and Willis,
- 4:06there's a few of them. You're like, you know, you're not a
- 4:09bad person, just unfortunately, it's just just incredibly annoying. That's unfortunately.
- 4:13Really Number one, care to take a guess at the worst movie remake of
- 4:15all time? And it wasn't Dirty Dancing because that was going to be on
- 4:18my list. Going to give you a really subtle hint. Something strange some
- 4:28of the cast to didn't they? I think so? But not as they
- 4:31weren't. Wasn't Bill Murray in it? I don't know? But it was
- 4:33an all female cast? Oh when they get the all female version of it?
- 4:38Yeah, that kind of fell flat a little bit. And again there's
- 4:41just classics you don't mess with, you just don't do it. Yeah,
- 4:44there's songs too, I mean a lot of cover songs that it's just like,
- 4:46come on leave it to the original, or when we're listening to stuff,
- 4:48I'm like, why does this sound so familiar? Oh, you totally
- 4:51ripped it off from there, you know what I will say though, it's
- 4:55not a remake, but a sequel that I'm very, very very excited about
- 4:58the possibility of. And I've been This is American Pie five. I just
- 5:01read real well, I just read that they're working on a story right now.
- 5:05Now it all comes down to like if the studio picks it up and
- 5:09whatnot. And I know that was the rasue before, but they're working on
- 5:12it. The Stiff I was gonna say, where would we be if there
- 5:15was another one? Well, the number four was the American Reunion where that
- 5:18left off is Jimbo's dad, who's of course Gena. Yeah that's his name.
- 5:24Yeah it's Gene, Yeah, Geene, Yes, the guy from s
- 5:28Creek. Anyway, so he gets together with Stiff Wor's mom, who is
- 5:30of course played by the wonderful Jennifer. I can't think of a single thing,
- 5:36right, I know, I took Nike weel last night. I'm pretty
- 5:40sure I'm still on that. It's the worst feeling, but yes, but
- 5:43they got together so huge stars now, which is so crazy. They both
- 5:46picked up after s Creek and then of course from White Lotus White Loadus.
- 5:50Yeah, yeah, so they're they're real big. So that would be great
- 5:54to have more of a storyline with those two getting together. But then of
- 5:56course he got ready for that. You don't want to know what the Stiffmeister's
- 5:59doing. It is mid forties, you don't want that. I think we
- 6:01know. I think you do an in the morning, Big ninety eight point
- 6:05seven. I know you're gonna be a weird about this because historically I just
- 6:09feel like you're kind of on your high horse as far as hygien goes.
- 6:12So when I say pride myself in personal hygiene, I apologize bike. Yeah.
- 6:15Well, when I say how often do you change your underwear? Let
- 6:18me guess every day, every day, sometimes twice if I work out or
- 6:24you know whatever. Really well, let me tell you. Because health experts
- 6:28have weighed in on how often you should be washing your underwear or changing your
- 6:30underwear. I will get this out of the way. They say women,
- 6:33given the types of underwear women wear and what you got going on down there,
- 6:38yep, they recommend daily. Okay, got it. Okay, you're
- 6:42right on you uh boys, they're just less crevices and things of that culture.
- 6:46Whitey tidies probably change once a day box or briefs where they say box
- 6:53of briefs, you can go days. Okay, oh, get out of
- 6:56hug day. Now let me tell you my policy, because I know you're
- 7:00all dying to know. Hang on, Am I going to be prepared for
- 7:02this? Probably not. So It's kind of like my approach to food and
- 7:06expiration dates. You know. It's like anything they recommend a day, they
- 7:11say, hey, eat this by this date. Now that's not what I
- 7:14go by. You got to run it through the test. Okay, you
- 7:16don't do the smiff test. Does it look expired, does it smell expired?
- 7:21And does it taste expired? Taste food? I'm talking about food.
- 7:27Oh gotcha? Gotcha. Now when it comes to underwear, exact same process.
- 7:30No, but if it looks like people are so weird about that,
- 7:34I don't have enough underwear. I can't be washing clothes constantly because of the
- 7:39amount of underwear I've got dirty. I mean, you have at least like
- 7:42a week's worth seven pair. I take a good seven. I'm seven deep
- 7:46in the underwear draw okay, and of course a boxer brief guy then of
- 7:51course, yeah, yeah, I know in boxers. I just don't get
- 7:54the point of that ones. Yeah yeah, it's like, what why even
- 7:57wearing those? I guess those are like granny panties for like, it is
- 8:00kind of like whoa, No, I feel like granny panties are makes sense.
- 8:03It's the types of thongs that some women wear. Oh so what what
- 8:07does this even do? Why is it? Why is it there? It's
- 8:09just like, hey, yes, I'm supposed to be wearing undis, so
- 8:11here we go. You're right, man, it's a societal thing. We've
- 8:15been pressured by society to wear things under our pants, and you know,
- 8:18sometimes you just don't have to. Well, I know a lot of ladies
- 8:22don't. Is that something you've participated in? Are you participating right now?
- 8:26Everyone's dying to know. I wasn't gonna go through this. How many pairs
- 8:28of underwear do you have on right now? Zero? What I'm wearing leggings?
- 8:35Like, I just yeah, I oh, this is so weird and
- 8:39no it's it is. But also because my daughter she watches me get ready
- 8:43and stuff, and sometimes she's like but you're not wearing and I'm like,
- 8:46but you are, Like this is like we're two different people. I'm thirty
- 8:52eight, you're four. I don't know how to explain this. And then
- 8:54she'll you know, she's very observant of what's going on. All kids are,
- 8:58so now she is like, why don't I have to wear a bra?
- 9:01It's like mom does see there's certain things. Mom can get away with
- 9:05it, and she can. Yeah, honey, unlike Mommy, you can
- 9:09run without giving herself a black eye. I get a man in a morning.
- 9:15Seven. Well, I'd like to consider this our apology segment. Yeah,
- 9:20after what you just went through. We were discussing the worst movie remakes
- 9:24of all time. It's just a simple topic, really, but when discussing
- 9:28movies sometimes the topic of actors and actresses gets brought up, and ideally we'd
- 9:33be able to remember those people's names. We were unable to do so.
- 9:37So I guess we'll say we get a lot of messages, is the reason
- 9:39for this. Yeah, She and Tia said it's a Eugene Levy. I
- 9:43love you, but you guys are killing me this morning. She said,
- 9:46I said, yeah, trust me, we're well aware. We're talking about
- 9:50American Pie potentially getting a fifth one, and of course we're looking for Eugene
- 9:52Levy. However, I think I said Gene, and then you, instead
- 9:56of saying no, I don't think that's it, you looked me in the
- 9:58eyes and said, yeah, it's Gene. Well, I see Eugene and
- 10:01Gene. I mean, obviously we're close totally. But then we went with
- 10:05Jennifer Coolidge. I couldn't think of that. Jack Harlowe. I couldn't even
- 10:09possibly draw that out of my head, and then got worse when I mistook
- 10:13Woody Harrelson for Bill Murray. So we also got a text from your husband,
- 10:16Amanda Nick, who said you two better get it together this morning.
- 10:20Yeah, which is just, you know, to get that sort of criticism,
- 10:24you know, somebody so close to me too, just really like he's
- 10:26he's your biggest supporter, but also your biggest critic, you know. Gosh,
- 10:30So that just a moment to apologize, thank you for putting up with
- 10:33us. We say it all the time, but that was a moment that
- 10:37we get back, and you know, me never like to make excuses,
- 10:41right. However, I did take nikewell last night and I threw away the
- 10:46little plastic cup. So I had to kind of just ballpark how much I
- 10:48should take, and I think I might overdid it. Yeah, great idea.
- 10:52Bike a great idea and Amanda in the morning on Big seven, here's
- 10:58what you need to know. Well, we already know that our community is
- 11:01amazing, and when asked to come together, we do, and we're doing
- 11:05it this week. This is so great. If you haven't been over to
- 11:07the Fargo Dome to help pack ten million meals in ten days, get in
- 11:09on it. It's still going all the way through Monday. Fargo Pack for
- 11:13Feed my starving Children is just I mean, working away. The organizations,
- 11:20the people that are coming out there, they already are over three million meals.
- 11:22That's crazy. And these go worldwide. Yeah, I mean I was
- 11:26gonna say, because I feel like that Fargo would be set. That's crazy.
- 11:30What a cool thing you're going out there to help. Yeah, we're
- 11:31gonna go out on Friday between eleven thirty and one thirty. We were wanting
- 11:35to do it with our family, but you have to be over five in
- 11:37order to participate. So my husband and I are going to go out there
- 11:41and do that. But it's super easy it's two hour increments, and they
- 11:43make it so easy. If you just go to fargopac dot org, all
- 11:46you have to do is put a little details in there and sign on.
- 11:50It seems like it's fun too. Everybody's having a good time out there doing
- 11:52good things. Yeah. Absolutely, Heck, maybe I'll go. You should
- 11:56all the way until Monday to do so these guys are not doing good things.
- 12:01I don't know. I know, I know you're going out to town
- 12:03this weekend and we'll go. Then go. I challenging, except all right,
- 12:09I know our afternoon guy, James, he's been going out there almost
- 12:13every single night and he said it's just really cool, the atmosphere, all
- 12:16the people out there. So guy's a good guy, James, he really
- 12:18is. Over the weekend offences in ozgood were vandalized. So what's going on
- 12:22here? I noticed it in our neighborhood on our Facebook group that somebody had
- 12:26taken and I don't know if they tied something to it, took the vehicle
- 12:30and took out a fence, and I'm like, this is a very weird
- 12:33thing to vandalize. Just offense offense, Yeah, people vandalizing, just to
- 12:37vandalize, just to cause destruction. You know, there's a deeper issue there,
- 12:41totally just sad. Well, now one of it is. One of
- 12:43the reasons they're thinking it is is because of this viral TikTok challenge. It's
- 12:46known as the the kool aid Man challenge kool aid Man challenge. Are you
- 12:52telling me they're running through the fence and saying yeah, I see and that's
- 12:56just it? Are they really or are they just damaging and like, oh
- 13:00this is cool? Because it's not cool. Also, the commercials like from
- 13:03the eighties or nineties, so the kids don't know that. Although it was
- 13:05on Family Guy, Oh was it? There was a recurring bit on Family
- 13:09Guy, one of the great animated shows of our time. Well, it's
- 13:11still just very annoying to me. First of all, the damage of the
- 13:13fence if you have not priced defense, they're not cheap, and even trying
- 13:18to get it fixed in the winter, if you have a pet and that
- 13:20pet gets loose, I just can't. You don't need Family Guy's a good
- 13:24show or what I feel like you just kind of moved right on, is
- 13:26that Stewie? Yeah? Okay, yeah, I watched it, just making
- 13:30sure on the right. Yeah, it's Stewie show. That's the whole show,
- 13:35Just old Stewie the stew man. Oh gosh. And people are injecting
- 13:45what are we doing here? Salmon sperm into their faces to banish wrinkles?
- 13:50Hot new trend for twenty twenty four four. Does it work? Well?
- 13:52They're saying they're doing this to encourage the skin to repair itself. A lot
- 13:56of people do this, like, for instance, like a botox meant you
- 14:00do it out depending on your skin, every three months. This is one
- 14:03of those. It's not just a one and done procedure for three p fifty
- 14:05people are doing it three times a year. I just need to know why.
- 14:09I need more information. It's just curious. Does it come from?
- 14:13Well, it comes from with salmon. But who decides this? You know
- 14:18how many animals did they have to go through before they determined that the salmon's
- 14:20seed was the most effective. See, that's just it. I mean,
- 14:24I know there's me. I did a lot of prac studies back in college.
- 14:28I hate to be a part of that one though. The horse no
- 14:33done work? Okay? Any what else we got snake? Can we get
- 14:37it out of a snake with the salmon? It was like the Omega threes
- 14:41were strong, and they're like, Okay, we're gonna narrow it down a
- 14:43little bit. Maybe I'll have to get a little salmon in it. Like
- 14:46you know how a lot of people, like my sister in law has a
- 14:48chicken for laying eggs, you know, just so they can produce their own
- 14:50eggs. Yeah, so I just keep a salmon at home. Just get
- 14:54a big fish day. Yeah, I'll have the best skin in town.
- 14:58I'll have the best pike's getting younger happening, But must be that salmon.
- 15:05Where's he at anyway? Always up in Alaska for the third time this year's
- 15:09fishing trick. What's a dumber challenge in your opinion? The kool aid man
- 15:13fence challenge or the salmon sperm challenge. I don't know if either of them
- 15:20are for me, but I could be wrong. Again, anybody is doing
- 15:24this here in the Fargo area. I'd love to have some more details,
- 15:28you think. After the salmon fish, yeah, he looks at you and
- 15:33goes yeah, or your head and you're headed right to a facial place to
- 15:46get going to some lady's face. I don't know. Is like, I'll
- 15:54tell you what though I'll say this, it's interesting. It is. That's
- 15:58why we're talking about it. It is because people do crazy things all the
- 16:02time, and you need to know what people are doing. The price people
- 16:04pay to look younger. I mean, it's it's a billion dollar business,
- 16:08number one for informative programming here. That's why we got the like it Amenda
- 16:17in the morning on Big Nutty eight points seven. No, Amanda fills the
- 16:22sea. Let's see brat to buy Valley Service Mechanical. So we've been talking
- 16:26about it. There was that clip that went viralist Selena Gomez gossiping with Taylor
- 16:30Swift at the Golden Globes, and there were a lot of rumors whether or
- 16:33not they were talking about Kylie Jenner and Timothy Schella May because they are dating.
- 16:37They were kind of kissing the little lovey dovey for the first time in
- 16:41public, and Timothy got interviewed yesterday and he said, no, we're fine,
- 16:45everything's cool. There's no bad blood here. Selena Gomez and I feel
- 16:51like she usually just avoids this at all costs, but she didn't want the
- 16:55rumors to be out there about her being a mean girl. She jumped onto
- 16:57Instagram and said, I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up.
- 17:02Not that that's anybody's business, but you're still talking about somebody. I
- 17:07like it. Yeah, Well, I'm just dying to know who in the
- 17:11room it Coul's gotta be somebody in the room, right. Well, the
- 17:14way she kind of scooted over there, crouched down, and it was Miles
- 17:18Teller's wife next to Taylor Swift, who kind of looked at her like,
- 17:21oh boy. And I don't remember if they looked around at the person,
- 17:25but it felt like it was some serious hot goss that they just were witnessing.
- 17:30There were some rumors that Merle Streep and Martin Short had a little something
- 17:33going on. Oh I did see that. I don't know why that.
- 17:34That's just so adorable. It is. I don't know if either of them
- 17:37were married or not, but it would be less adorable if that was if
- 17:41they were both happily married. But if that was it, it's like,
- 17:42oh, Mark, are you kidding me? Trying to swoop in on Merle,
- 17:47Like that's just i'd probably your favorite thing. I don't know, I
- 17:52can't think of a single thing right, Oh my gosh, I know he's
- 17:57a hilarious comedian. I said what he was in, all right, Jimmy
- 18:00Kimmel, Speaking of hilarious, he was, I guess is he? I
- 18:06don't know, he tries to be at this point in life. I don't
- 18:08know if they're funny or the people writing the jokes. It's hard to say.
- 18:12They're just the delivery vehicle. Yeah, which is I mean, that's
- 18:17an art in itself. Like Jimmy Fallon, I don't know if he writes
- 18:19any of those jokes, but he's funny about it. It's just what It's
- 18:22not what they say, it's how they say it exactly, I mean.
- 18:25And he I think he's probably more funny than Jimmy Kimmel, But either way.
- 18:29Jimmy Kimmel Show went live for the first time after the New Year,
- 18:32and he took some time to talk about Aaron Rodgers. You know, they've
- 18:34had this feud basically since COVID last week, Aaron Rodgers had made a comment
- 18:40of him basically probably wanting the Epstein List to not come out because he could
- 18:45possibly be on it. Yes, when it comes, they're talking about the
- 18:48Epstein List, this hypothetical list, and he said a lot of people are
- 18:52hoping Jimmy Kimmel included that it doesn't come out obviously, insinuating that he's a
- 18:56pedophile. Right, and so then what's his name? Kimmel comes back with
- 19:00this, because God gave him the ability to throw a ball, he's smarter
- 19:04than everyone else. The idea that his brain is just average is unfathomable to
- 19:10him. Aaron got two a's on his report card. They were both in
- 19:14the word Aaron. Okay, that's pretty funny. I do enjoy that.
- 19:18So the reason he brought it up on Monday is because he knew yesterday Aaron
- 19:21Rodgers was going to be live on Pat mcavie show like he is every week,
- 19:25and wondering if he was going to address it, and he kind of
- 19:26did. I'm not stupid enough to accuse you of that with absolutely zero evidence,
- 19:33concrete evidence. That's ridiculous. So I'd like to put this to bed.
- 19:38We'd like to put it to bed, too. But you keep waking
- 19:41up the bear like that's what you're doing. You're poking the bear. When
- 19:45he had to get the last chap, but he went on, I mean
- 19:45that was like a seven minute monologue about Jimmy Kimmel, none of which was
- 19:51he taking any fault for it. And then at the end, you know,
- 19:53you can't do that. You can't like just rip into somebody and to
- 19:56be all right, now we're done. Now we're done. I got the
- 19:57last word. You know. Yeah, I just don't like it. I'm
- 20:02over all of it. Well that's one way to yeah, for sure,
- 20:06and Fitty sent New Year knew him. He jumped on Instagram yesterday and said
- 20:11that he's going to be practicing abstinence in twenty twenty four. He said,
- 20:14my new idea is so big. I don't have time to be distracted.
- 20:18I'm practicing abstinence. I've been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope
- 20:22this New Year helps you excel to the next level. He tagged a couple
- 20:25of his liquor brands and he says he doesn't want to be distracted, but
- 20:27to me, abstaining from it would be incredibly distracting. But also the big
- 20:33question for a lot of people is he's got a model girlfriend named Cuban Link.
- 20:37I don't know if they're still together or not, but he's are you
- 20:41sure that is in her ethnicity, in her favorite style of sausage or is
- 20:48that her name? God, the one thing about that joke is it took
- 20:57me a second, but I was a stretch. I don't know it was
- 21:02said no, that that's her name, but I'm not sure she's she's aware
- 21:06of his big goals for twenty twenty four. I hope they're on the same
- 21:11page. Yeah, I don't know if Cuban link is also against it,
- 21:15or maybe she's single and ready to mingle, or maybe you know, just
- 21:18the sausage lane like an in the morning, big nutty eight points. Can
- 21:23you remember the stupidest thing you ever saw somebody do at a party? Oh?
- 21:26Gosh, yes, and a lot of them were at our home.
- 21:30Unfortunately, you're you're you were the party house, like in high school or
- 21:33in college. Well, I went to college in Colorado. I'll just say
- 21:37that, so doesn't have to be drinking parties. No high school, you
- 21:41were just having have no idea, how you know? My parents came home
- 21:45one time and there was candles in the ceiling. We had those ceilings that
- 21:48like popped up in the bottom. There were candles, Like my mom had
- 21:53candles all over the house. So somebody had decided they were going to put
- 21:56a candle in the ceiling and then if you got a party to the house,
- 21:59at least respect the space. Yep, respect they got a lot of
- 22:02space. It happened to be before the holidays, and when we were unwrapping
- 22:04Christmas presents there were tabs, coke tabs and cigarette isn't it funny in the
- 22:15Christmas tree like in some of the ornament, Like what in the world that's
- 22:18not subtle. One time my parents were out of town and this was such
- 22:21a big risk for me to have friends, not even a huge party,
- 22:22but like a bunch of friends over. Yeah, and I tried so hard,
- 22:26meticulously cleaned. I know, if somebody's been in my home, yes,
- 22:29yes, and somehow they found out. I thought for sure i'd gone
- 22:32away with it. And what do you know they found out anyway? Yeah,
- 22:33no, there was somebody had like scratched in on my mom's table.
- 22:40Oh, it was just it was so bad, Like it was so bad.
- 22:42That's when we turned to bonfire parties, like there was no being allowed
- 22:47in our home. And you knew Big Mama she wasn't having it like at
- 22:52all, like you don't mess with her stuff. Somebody found one of her
- 22:55personal items once and that like a purse, No, a little bit more
- 22:59per oh, like a keepsake, that old family airline. She had,
- 23:03like this massage device oh yes, yes, and one of those battery operated
- 23:08yes, yeah, massages. Yes. And then it ended up going missing
- 23:14and then there was never a conversation about it. But I mean, obviously
- 23:18she knew it was gone, and it's just awful. I can't even know
- 23:22that's for you, traumatizing, but for everybody else involved, hilarious. We
- 23:25were at my friend's house and then we yep, we found his What do
- 23:27you know his mom had one of those battery operated massagers as well. Yeah,
- 23:33it came out of the drawer and all suddenly he was getting swung around
- 23:36in the kitchen and my gosh, mom's had really stiff next my gosh,
- 23:38what Yeah, distressful raising kids like this, throwing parties at the house.
- 23:44Well, this guy, this might be the stupidest thing I've seen somebody do
- 23:47at a party. And if you have one to weigh in on seven oh
- 23:48one two eight oh one ninety eight seven, Texas call Us would love to
- 23:51hear the story. But this guy, it went viral because of course,
- 23:53people were taking photos of it and videos. They're at this party, massive
- 23:57decorative urn. Okay, so picture giant like vase and this kid trying to
- 24:02be the you know, life of the party glass clown gets inside of it
- 24:07and gets stuck. Okay, how big its human? I mean he had
- 24:11like crouched down to get in there, you know, and we were seeing
- 24:12earn. Were there ashes in it? Or is just like a decorative got
- 24:15it? Okay? Sorry I missed up. Prampa wasn't in there. That's
- 24:18what I've been visiting. I'm like, did how many ashes? Like?
- 24:22Was it a whole the whole family? Got an earn? I gotcha?
- 24:25Okay, So this guy gets in there and you can see the photo here.
- 24:27Man, this dude is stuck. Okay, massive earths photos going viral.
- 24:33Well, eventually they just had to crack the urn. Now apparently it's
- 24:37a three thousand dollars earn. So you can imagine how mad the parents were
- 24:40when they came home. So they cracked the urn not before a lot of
- 24:42people online were having some fun saying things like, well, he's not getting
- 24:45out until I get my three wishes. That's good. I like that.
- 24:51It's pretty good. Somebody else called him potzilla. It's not funny. I
- 24:56should have stopped. You should have stopped. Ye, he was white and
- 25:00Amanda in the morning on sign we have on our hands. One of the
- 25:06great mysteries of our time. Oh yeah, are you prepared to be taken
- 25:11by this situation? It takes place in a South Florida prison where a woman
- 25:17named Daisy is in prison on a second degree murder charge. Okay, okay,
- 25:22not good. Now. Daisy, as she awaits her trial, is
- 25:26in prison, has become pregnant. Okay, conjugal visit, No conjugal visits.
- 25:33Now, it's the mystery because of course it's in a female prison.
- 25:37She's gonna cell by herself. When Daisy was asked how she possibly could become
- 25:41pregnant while in prison, her excuse was that her and a fellow inmate somehow
- 25:48became pregnant by passing a fertile glove back and forth between an air conditioning vent.
- 25:55Well, that is the most wild thing I've ever heard. Yeah,
- 25:57a fertile rubber glove of passionate it back and forth. Somehow was able to
- 26:03impregnate you. How has the glove become fertile? Yeah, you haven't said
- 26:08you haven't seen a case like this since BC, since that manger the Oh
- 26:15that's good. Well, you know, no, I'm very well aware of
- 26:18that any immaculate conception. Here's my uh, here's my question. Okay,
- 26:25Joseph's like you that happened? Was there? Uh? Maybe? No?
- 26:30As I mean, what are they called not a warrant the guy who was
- 26:34standing there? Oh just the guard, the guard, but the prison guard.
- 26:37But I feel like they have another name, like they probably do.
- 26:40Do you think he did it? I would I would like to think that
- 26:42we're going to be pointing our fingers here at I've watched some of these crime
- 26:47shows or whatever, or when you know you fall in love. There was
- 26:48that case where that woman ended up falling in love with that guy and he
- 26:52snuck her out one of the prison guards. Oh yeah, no that I
- 26:56mean that was a great one of the great love stories of twenty twenty.
- 26:59But this she's now been moved over to the mental health section of the correctional
- 27:03facility, and she's pregnant, like she's for real pregnant. Right. You
- 27:07know, some people online anyway, not me, have been renaming this prison
- 27:11the nuthouse. Yeah, not me, but somebody else somebody gets somebody online
- 27:18said that, which I just find a repulsive. Oh God. I hope
- 27:22anyway that they figure this out, because we can't have prisoners getting pregnant via
- 27:26an air conditioning. Well, what I'm hoping that they're gonna do is,
- 27:30you know there's gonna be You know that there's one guy for the job,
- 27:33and that's Maury. Bring him in, have everybody do the test or whenever,
- 27:37send them all down and we will get to the bottom of it.
- 27:40I mean, how do you swab in air conditioning? Can you imagine He's
- 27:44just sitting there all of a sudden, He's like, okay, and when
- 27:45it comes to the air conditioning vent you are I'm just spitballingneer not the fot
- 27:52pike. It a man in the morning. Come, I'll get up on
- 27:56DIG seven. How'd you sleep last night? You said? Pretty good?
- 28:02I did. Actually it was one of those I don't remember waking up in
- 28:06the middle of the night really at all. Let me look at me.
- 28:07Do you have a do you wear like a fit better? Y? No,
- 28:10I'm afraid do because I know the results. Your sleep score is going
- 28:12to be twenty. Yes. However, America, I'm not alone. Americans
- 28:17say on average they have one hundred and thirteen nights of bad sleep per year.
- 28:22I could see that that's what almost half a little less, but still
- 28:26that's about a third if I had to guess. There's no way to really
- 28:30know, man, But yeah, I got a solid seven hours last night,
- 28:33Joe Rich is huge. I don't think I've ever got seven hours to
- 28:36sleep. I guess on the weekend, you know what I mean, Like
- 28:37I sleep great on the weekend. Yeah, but then during the week I
- 28:41just I just can down figure it out. My body can't. I got
- 28:44to figure it out mentally, Yeah, because a lot of mine are like
- 28:45that's six sometimes maybe five, and it's interrupted for sure. I'm going through
- 28:51what everybody is a little bit of sickness, you know what I mean.
- 28:55I feel like everybody's sick so last night, and that's always not Honestly,
- 28:57I look forward to being sick because that gives me sort of the license to
- 29:00use Nike WILL. Right, Well, i'm sick, of course I can
- 29:04take a big swig of Nike WILL. Have you ever tried thailantal PM?
- 29:07I have a lot of friends. You will pop up, Okay, that'll
- 29:11pop a tilantal PM. I know we've talked about melotone, and we've gone
- 29:14through this sleep situation with you numerous times. And the problem is a lot
- 29:18of those things you're not supposed to be using every nine of course on occasion,
- 29:22even melatonin, right, you're supposed to be using that regularly. If
- 29:25your body becomes immune to it, doesn't it well basically what they say.
- 29:27Anyways, if you keep using melatonin, it restricts your body's natural ability to
- 29:32produce melatonin. So in that melatonin, it helps you fall asleep, but
- 29:36it doesn't help you stay asleep, So very true. I mean, it's
- 29:38still helped so better nothing, but then a lot of times I'll feel groggy.
- 29:41Obviously we get up early, so in order to like have it wear
- 29:45off, you got to take it at six pm or something, you know.
- 29:48I know, And people forget waking up when your alarm goes off at
- 29:52three thirty in the morning. I don't care if you went to bed at
- 29:53seven or eight o'clock a night, your alarm clock still went off at three
- 29:56thirty in the morning. Your body hard to adjust to. There's your natural
- 30:00circadian rhythm, and I'm telling you it's not that it's very unnatural to do.
- 30:06However, we should just wake up. Would you go to bed with
- 30:08the sun and wake up with the sun. That's how you're supposed to do
- 30:11it, how I imagine. Yeah, A lot of people say, what
- 30:14a bad night a sleep would technically be is a night that ruins there's not
- 30:18enough sleep, so it ruins the next day, which definitely it's not even
- 30:22so much like for us, I could lay wake all night and that happens
- 30:26frequently, and I've gotten really good about trying not to nap during the day.
- 30:32That really helped me out because then I by the time, you know,
- 30:34six thirty seven o'clock rolls around, I'm exhausted and I can crash.
- 30:38That's the struggle for us because if you get done, not to just keep
- 30:41talking about our schedules. I'm sure you're all very interested, but everybody has
- 30:45different things, and I actually I think people are interested, like, how
- 30:48do you do that where you know, for instance, tomorrow night, then
- 30:49it's happy hour from four to six and you're still just rolling right, We're
- 30:53just machines. You guys can kidding it? Well, absolutely, I mean
- 30:56that's unniable, but you know, when you get home in the afternoons,
- 30:59like what, everybody else is working, My wife is working, none of
- 31:02my friends want to ditch work and go have a beer. So it's like,
- 31:03well, I'll just lay down and pass out for three hours. How's
- 31:07that? See? And that's also a huge portion of one of the problems
- 31:11is how long are you supposed to nap? Some people say, is it
- 31:14twenty minutes? Like that's it for me? A twenty minute nap is good
- 31:18because you're like, oh, I rest it a little, but then I'm
- 31:19up. But it still takes me a little bit to get out of that.
- 31:22Well yeah, and I can never fall asleep fast enough, you know
- 31:26what I mean, Like, oh, set your alarm for twenty minutes,
- 31:29okay, Well twenty minutes later, I'm still gonna be away. So it's
- 31:32really hard to really hard to time it. For me. If I lay
- 31:34down without an alarm in the afternoon, it's three hours, like almost to
- 31:37the minute, no matter how I naturally wake up, and it feels like
- 31:41I'm digging myself out of the grave, like coming out of a coma.
- 31:45Well, here's the good news. You can add that to your sleep for
- 31:47the night, right, Can you say, oh, I got three hours
- 31:49of s Yeah, I've been sleeping in shifts for years.
