0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:02
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to begin taking
0:06
Speaker 1: a look at the Glenn Maxwell transcripts that just dropped.
0:11
Speaker 1: So Todd Blanche is going to be the one asking
0:14
Speaker 1: the questions and obviously the skafuzza Glenn Maxwell will be
0:18
Speaker 1: doing the answering. And this is day number one, July
0:22
Speaker 1: twenty fourth, twenty twenty five. Todd Blanche, Good morning, miss Maxwell.
0:28
Speaker 1: How are you? And when I say answer, that's Glenn
0:31
Speaker 1: Maxwell answering, and if there's any deviation from that I'll
0:35
Speaker 1: make sure to notate that as we work our way
0:38
Speaker 1: through this answer. Good morning, mister Blanche. Question good okay,
0:42
Speaker 1: So before we started recording, we met for a few minutes.
0:45
Speaker 1: I introduced myself and we've chatted and now I've told
0:49
Speaker 1: you that we're going on the record, and before we
0:51
Speaker 1: start asking questions, I know that you've been given by
0:54
Speaker 1: your lawyer a copy of what's called a proper agreement
0:57
Speaker 1: and I just want to spend two minutes making sure
0:59
Speaker 1: that you want tonderstand what that governs and what our
1:03
Speaker 1: conversation today is going to be. The most important part
1:06
Speaker 1: of this agreement is that this isn't a cooperation agreement,
1:10
Speaker 1: meaning that by you meeting with us today, we're really
1:14
Speaker 1: just meeting. We're not promising to do anything. Well besides
1:17
Speaker 1: mover to a different facility. How mister Blanche, I'm not
1:20
Speaker 1: promising to ask Judge Nathan or any of the judges
1:23
Speaker 1: that's been assigned to your case to do anything. We're
1:26
Speaker 1: just talking, and so that's the most important part of
1:29
Speaker 1: this agreement. However, almost as important is the fact that
1:33
Speaker 1: what this agreement does for you is it gives you protection.
1:37
Speaker 1: So what it means is that the government cannot use
1:40
Speaker 1: what you say today against you, with some exceptions, which
1:43
Speaker 1: we'll talk about in a minute, but whatever you talk
1:46
Speaker 1: about today, you have what's called immunity. So that means
1:49
Speaker 1: that your words that you say today we cannot use
1:52
Speaker 1: against you in a case in chief if we were
1:54
Speaker 1: ever to bring one. Okay, Glenn Maxwell, thank you Blanche.
2:00
Speaker 1: All right. There's exceptions to that, the most meaningful one
2:03
Speaker 1: of which is that if you say something today that's
2:05
Speaker 1: not true, that's a lie, we can bring a prosecution
2:08
Speaker 1: against you for what's called a false statement. So I'm
2:12
Speaker 1: a federal officer, I have several officers here, the FBI
2:15
Speaker 1: is here, and if you lie to someone that's like
2:18
Speaker 1: me or like Special Agent Horn, it's a crime. So
2:22
Speaker 1: you have to be truthful. The other exception to this
2:25
Speaker 1: that doesn't necessarily apply directly to you, but if there
2:28
Speaker 1: ever was a retrial in your case, or if there
2:30
Speaker 1: was ever a criminal case a future criminal case against you,
2:33
Speaker 1: and you're a lawyer, or you said something different or
2:37
Speaker 1: it took a position that's different than what you say today,
2:40
Speaker 1: then we can cross examine you or a witness based
2:43
Speaker 1: upon what you say today. So it's a little bit nuanced,
2:47
Speaker 1: meaning I can't use what you say against you in
2:50
Speaker 1: our case in chief. However, if you were to testify,
2:53
Speaker 1: or if you're a lawyer called a witness to testify
2:56
Speaker 1: and they said something that is totally different than what
2:58
Speaker 1: you say today, we could cross examine you or the
3:01
Speaker 1: witness and say, hey, do you remember when we met
3:04
Speaker 1: with miss Maxwell. When we met with miss Maxwell back
3:07
Speaker 1: in July of twenty twenty five, she told us then
3:11
Speaker 1: and then say what she said. Okay, Maxwell, I understand Blanche, Okay.
3:17
Speaker 1: Other than that, you I know you didn't have a
3:20
Speaker 1: lot of time with this morning to meet with mister Marcus.
3:23
Speaker 1: But did you have a chance to go over this
3:25
Speaker 1: briefly with them? Maxwell? I did, Blanche, okay, all right,
3:29
Speaker 1: so I've already signed it, as has special agent Horn. Maxwell. Okay,
3:34
Speaker 1: and mister Marcus signed it as well. So you got
3:37
Speaker 1: a pen. Please sign it Maxwell right here, Blanche, right here,
3:41
Speaker 1: it says client, Yes, and I will provide you a
3:44
Speaker 1: copy of this to your lawyer. So you guys have it. Maxwell,
3:47
Speaker 1: thank you, Blanche, Okay, thank you, so, miss Maxwell. About
3:52
Speaker 1: a week and a half ago or two weeks ago,
3:55
Speaker 1: Spencer Horn, can you see the light blinking on there
3:58
Speaker 1: on the sony? Yeah, there it is, Blanche. Okay. We're
4:01
Speaker 1: just confirming that it works, and it does. Maxwell. I
4:05
Speaker 1: guess about a week and a half or two weeks ago,
4:07
Speaker 1: mister Marcus reached out to me and said that that
4:10
Speaker 1: you wanted to speak with somebody from the government about
4:13
Speaker 1: not only your case, but about everything that's been in
4:15
Speaker 1: the media and that's been publicized about mister Epstein in
4:19
Speaker 1: your case. Maxwell. That's she gets cut off by Blanche,
4:23
Speaker 1: did he Maxwell cuts her off? That's true. And I
4:27
Speaker 1: did speak to him and I did ask him if
4:29
Speaker 1: oh and tell him that I would be very keen
4:32
Speaker 1: to talk to anyone, because no one from the government
4:35
Speaker 1: at any time ever in since the inception of the case,
4:39
Speaker 1: so dating back to the early two thousands, has ever
4:41
Speaker 1: spoken to me. And indeed, I believe ever reached out
4:44
Speaker 1: to me at any time to even speak to me,
4:47
Speaker 1: and that includes up to when I was indicted and prosecuted.
4:51
Speaker 1: I believe that, or I understand I should say rather
4:55
Speaker 1: that my attorneys at the time did tell the government
4:57
Speaker 1: that I wanted to speak to them because I was
4:59
Speaker 1: very keen to meet with anyone so that I could
5:02
Speaker 1: tell or have the mask me any question. I've never
5:05
Speaker 1: had any problem to speak to anybody, and I offered
5:08
Speaker 1: myself and I keep asking if they would meet with
5:11
Speaker 1: me so I could talk to them, and for whatever
5:13
Speaker 1: reason to that, she's cut off by Blanche Okay, Maxwell,
5:17
Speaker 1: that was not happening. Blanche Okay. I have questions that
5:20
Speaker 1: I want to ask you, but I'm not. If there's
5:22
Speaker 1: a path a question that I'm not asking that you
5:25
Speaker 1: think should be asked, I invite you to volunteer. Same
5:28
Speaker 1: thing goes for your lawyers. Oh yeah, let's let Maxwell
5:31
Speaker 1: lead the party. It's already a shit show, folks, Just
5:36
Speaker 1: to start a little bit, very briefly, can you talk
5:38
Speaker 1: about when you first met mister Epstein. I know that
5:41
Speaker 1: goes back a while, and just very generally talk about
5:44
Speaker 1: your relationship with mister Epstein from the time you met
5:46
Speaker 1: him all the way up until until his death. I
5:49
Speaker 1: met mister Epstein in nineteen ninety one, my I had
5:53
Speaker 1: I had never heard of him or met him before,
5:55
Speaker 1: and no one in my family had either. My father
5:58
Speaker 1: never knew him. And I'll explain why that is the case.
6:01
Speaker 1: I met to that. Blanche cuts her off. Where did
6:04
Speaker 1: you Where did you meet him? Maxwell? I had a
6:07
Speaker 1: girlfriend who I was Yeah, I moved to America. Briefly,
6:12
Speaker 1: I'd moved to America in ninety Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, I
6:16
Speaker 1: well moved, that's a big word. I'd come to visit
6:18
Speaker 1: America in nineteen ninety. I had been running my own
6:21
Speaker 1: company up until that time, which was a company called
6:24
Speaker 1: Maxwell's Corporate Gifts, and I had also been working for
6:28
Speaker 1: my father at the time. I had multiple jobs with him.
6:31
Speaker 1: I was in nineteen ninety I was working with a
6:33
Speaker 1: new company of his, a newspaper that was launching called
6:37
Speaker 1: The European and I was in charge of launching a
6:40
Speaker 1: magazine to go with the European and I was traveling
6:43
Speaker 1: at the time from England to America because my father
6:46
Speaker 1: was looking too well. He'd also bought McMillan, the publishing house,
6:51
Speaker 1: and he purchased the New York Daily News. And it's
6:54
Speaker 1: truth that my father always wanted me to come back
6:57
Speaker 1: full time and work for him. But that's a much
6:59
Speaker 1: longer story I don't think we need to go into
7:01
Speaker 1: at this time. So, but I was always working with him.
7:05
Speaker 1: There was no escaping it, as it were, to work
7:08
Speaker 1: for him. So in nineteen ninety I had come over
7:11
Speaker 1: to New York to help look at some of that.
7:13
Speaker 1: He was having some advertising issues with the New York
7:16
Speaker 1: Deli News, and in fact I met I may have
7:19
Speaker 1: met Donald Trump at that time, because my father was
7:21
Speaker 1: friendly with him and liked him very much. And I
7:24
Speaker 1: think should be said that he also very much liked
7:28
Speaker 1: Ivana because she was also from Czechoslovakia, where my dad
7:32
Speaker 1: was from. So I don't I don't remember if I
7:34
Speaker 1: did meet him or not in nineteen ninety with my dad,
7:37
Speaker 1: but I knew That's what I knew about about mister Trump.
7:41
Speaker 1: Blanche and This was before you met to that. He's
7:45
Speaker 1: interrupted by Maxwell. This was before I met mister Epstein. Maxwell. Yes, Blanche,
7:50
Speaker 1: all right, Maxwell. So I was already going backwards and
7:54
Speaker 1: forwards in America, and then in April of nineteen ninety one,
7:57
Speaker 1: I came to New York. But I can't remember for
8:00
Speaker 1: what reason, what business reason, but there was a business reason,
8:04
Speaker 1: something to do with my dad at the time. And
8:06
Speaker 1: a girlfriend of mine, who an American, told me I
8:10
Speaker 1: had broken up with my long term I'd been engaged
8:12
Speaker 1: getting my long term boyfriend and we'd broken up. And
8:16
Speaker 1: she said, I've got you, know, as your girlfriends do.
8:19
Speaker 1: I've got a guy for you to meet. And I
8:21
Speaker 1: was like, well, who is he? And she goes, it's
8:24
Speaker 1: he's been dating my sister. You'll love him. He's looking
8:26
Speaker 1: for a wife. I'm edging towards thirty. I don't need
8:29
Speaker 1: to tell you, guys, that's a very important moment for
8:31
Speaker 1: a girl to think about important things. And sure I'd
8:35
Speaker 1: be happy to meet him. And so sometime in nineteen
8:38
Speaker 1: ninety one, now we are in nineteen ninety one, I
8:41
Speaker 1: met him at his office on Madison Garden, and I
8:43
Speaker 1: think the most memorable thing I can think about that
8:47
Speaker 1: is he was wearing a tie, which he didn't often do.
8:50
Speaker 1: It had a giant seem like a ketchup stain on it.
8:55
Speaker 1: So I was like, wow, okay. And that was how
8:58
Speaker 1: we met. Was you're a meeting at his office for
9:01
Speaker 1: you to meet him just personally, or you're there to
9:05
Speaker 1: that he's cut off by Maxwell. I was just and
9:08
Speaker 1: then Blanche cuts her off work related reasons. Maxwell. No
9:11
Speaker 1: I knew nothing about him, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell. He just
9:15
Speaker 1: invited me to come and have tea, and I was like, tea,
9:19
Speaker 1: that's English, Okay. What was unusual was in his office.
9:23
Speaker 1: So I went to his office and we met and
9:25
Speaker 1: I found him very engaging. And that was that, Blanche.
9:29
Speaker 1: So okay, that's how you met him. So we and
9:31
Speaker 1: again I don't want to spend a lot of time,
9:33
Speaker 1: you know, on this particular issue, but what happened with
9:36
Speaker 1: your relationship over the years from the time you meet
9:39
Speaker 1: him in ninety one up until the time he passed
9:42
Speaker 1: away to this Marcus interjects, just give the highlights, Maxwell, Okay,
9:47
Speaker 1: the highlights. So I was looking for real estate for
9:50
Speaker 1: my dad to buy some and Epstein told me that
9:52
Speaker 1: he was also looking to move from his apartment and
9:54
Speaker 1: would I help him, And I said, sure, I'm looking already,
9:58
Speaker 1: so if I could look for him. So that's how
10:01
Speaker 1: I started. And then in nineteen ninety one my father
10:03
Speaker 1: passed away and I returned to New York after that,
10:06
Speaker 1: originally to come back and help with the family business,
10:09
Speaker 1: which was McMillan. And then the debacle of my father's
10:12
Speaker 1: passing hit the family and we lost all of our businesses,
10:16
Speaker 1: and my family thought it would be best if I
10:18
Speaker 1: stayed in America because of the intensity of the press
10:21
Speaker 1: and the drama surrounding my father's death in England, so
10:24
Speaker 1: I stayed in Epstein instead. Well, you can keep helping me.
10:27
Speaker 1: You can help me find a house and we can
10:29
Speaker 1: decorate the house. And it gave me something to do. Blanche,
10:33
Speaker 1: were you in a romantic relationship with him at this
10:36
Speaker 1: point or just friends? Maxwell? No, just friends, Blanche. And
10:40
Speaker 1: while we're just with respect to your father, there has
10:42
Speaker 1: been multiple questions about whether he worked for any intelligence agency.
10:47
Speaker 1: Do you have any knowledge about that, Glenn Maxwell, I think, well,
10:50
Speaker 1: certainly my father had a background and intelligence during because
10:54
Speaker 1: he was I believe he did in the Second World War.
10:57
Speaker 1: He was an intelligent British intelligence office. I think that
11:01
Speaker 1: my sort of belief is that once you've been an
11:04
Speaker 1: intelligence officer, you're kind of always It doesn't mean that
11:08
Speaker 1: you're formally employed. So I don't think my dad in
11:11
Speaker 1: any formal sense was you know, employed by the agency.
11:14
Speaker 1: But when you are a very significant businessman and politician,
11:18
Speaker 1: as my father was, you meet with people over time
11:22
Speaker 1: and I guess trade, business or ideas. I think if
11:26
Speaker 1: that would fall under that definition, that's how I would
11:29
Speaker 1: give it. Now. He certainly I have no formal knowledge
11:32
Speaker 1: of anything specifically that he did in that thing. But
11:35
Speaker 1: if you're asking me if I thought that he did
11:37
Speaker 1: help people, the answer would be yes, I did, Blanche,
11:40
Speaker 1: did your father and mister Epstein have a business relationship
11:43
Speaker 1: over the years. I know we're maybe jumping around a
11:46
Speaker 1: little bit. Maxwell, they never met, So Blanche cuts her
11:49
Speaker 1: off as far as you know, they never met Maxwell,
11:52
Speaker 1: know I Blanche cuts her off again? Or you know
11:55
Speaker 1: they never met Maxwell. I know they never met, Blanche. Well,
11:59
Speaker 1: how do you know they never met Maxwell? They just
12:03
Speaker 1: categorically I know they never met. Well because after in
12:06
Speaker 1: nineteen ninety one, before my father died, he asked me
12:08
Speaker 1: if I'd met anyone interesting or whatever, you know, because
12:12
Speaker 1: I was still trying not to be sucked back into
12:14
Speaker 1: the family business. And I told him that I had
12:17
Speaker 1: met mister Epstein. And the reason why I shared that
12:20
Speaker 1: I had met mister Epstein because I believed at the
12:22
Speaker 1: time that Epstein worked for Bar of Stearns, and Bar
12:25
Speaker 1: of Stearns was one of our banks. And I knew
12:29
Speaker 1: that my father was friendly with both Jimmy kin and
12:31
Speaker 1: Ace Greenberg. So my dad came was actually in New York.
12:35
Speaker 1: I think if I remember, I may. I don't think
12:37
Speaker 1: I had the conversation on the phone, but I honestly
12:40
Speaker 1: were talking thirty years ago, so I'm not sure. But
12:43
Speaker 1: maybe I told him this verbatim because it happened. I
12:47
Speaker 1: know that what my dad did. Whether I saw it
12:50
Speaker 1: or whether I was told later that, I don't remember.
12:54
Speaker 1: But he called both Jimmy Kine and Ace Greenberg to
12:56
Speaker 1: ask if what sort of guy he was even a
13:00
Speaker 1: because a bunch of mumbling here and she's interrupted by
13:04
Speaker 1: Blanche once again, so they never they never met Maxwell.
13:08
Speaker 1: He didn't even know who he was, Blanche, but they
13:11
Speaker 1: had certainly some of the people it sounds like or
13:15
Speaker 1: certainly the Barristerns connection was something that you know they had. Maxwell. No, well,
13:21
Speaker 1: he never had a connection with Epstein. He had a
13:23
Speaker 1: connection with the bank. I mean Epstein. I'd never heard
13:26
Speaker 1: of him or knew of them before. And I certainly
13:29
Speaker 1: if my dad had known him, right when I said
13:32
Speaker 1: this is who he was, he didn't know who he was. Blanche, Yeah,
13:37
Speaker 1: Maxwell's who he rang A's and he rang Jimmy. So
13:41
Speaker 1: to ask them if it was okay that I even
13:43
Speaker 1: knew him. And I just want to explain briefly why
13:46
Speaker 1: my father would even do such a thing. I had
13:49
Speaker 1: some interesting things that have happened in my life, and
13:52
Speaker 1: one of them was to be found on an IRA
13:54
Speaker 1: kidnapp and murder list. And so after that happened, well
13:57
Speaker 1: there were other related I'm not going to bore you
13:59
Speaker 1: with all the horrible things in that vein, but if
14:02
Speaker 1: you want the details, of course I can. But after
14:05
Speaker 1: that happened, my father wanted to put a lot of
14:07
Speaker 1: protection on me, obviously, and I declined on the grounds
14:10
Speaker 1: that would be a very life restricting event. You were
14:13
Speaker 1: all in law enforcement, I know you understand this, and
14:16
Speaker 1: so he told me that, you know, I would be
14:18
Speaker 1: taking my life into my own hands and then whatever.
14:21
Speaker 1: And so I think after that event and several others
14:25
Speaker 1: where I had stalkers and all the things that one has,
14:28
Speaker 1: he was always quite protective of me, and so if
14:32
Speaker 1: I met somebody, he would try and verify that they
14:34
Speaker 1: weren't going to do anything hideous. And so in this case,
14:37
Speaker 1: he thought it was weird that he would call Jimmy
14:40
Speaker 1: en das it might you know, you may think it is,
14:43
Speaker 1: but from my perspective, it was because he was concerned
14:47
Speaker 1: I was in America alone and he was an opportunity
14:50
Speaker 1: to verify who this person was. And so I don't
14:54
Speaker 1: know if I was in the room with him, I
14:56
Speaker 1: don't recall, but I know that at some point my
14:58
Speaker 1: father told me he's fine. See him, Todd Blanche, Yeah, Maxwell,
15:03
Speaker 1: he's safe, Todd Blanche. Okay, all right, we're gonna wrap
15:07
Speaker 1: up episode one right here, and in the next episode,
15:09
Speaker 1: we're gonna pick up where we left off. All of
15:12
Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
15:15
Speaker 1: in the description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome to
15:18
Speaker 1: another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're
15:22
Speaker 1: picking up where we left off with day one of
15:26
Speaker 1: the Glen Maxwell transcripts Blanche, Well, okay, so we might
15:31
Speaker 1: come back to touch on that a little bit more
15:33
Speaker 1: on the same point. But to that, Maxwell interrupts them. Yeah,
15:37
Speaker 1: Blanche again, I went down a rabbit hole for a minute. Maxwell,
15:41
Speaker 1: That's all right. I just wanted to know. She gets
15:45
Speaker 1: cut off by Blanche. That's helpful, thank you. So, Okay,
15:48
Speaker 1: so you're you're now in the nineties and you're friends
15:51
Speaker 1: with mister Epstein, your house decorating the house or the apartment.
15:56
Speaker 1: What happens with your relationship again. I know we're talking
16:00
Speaker 1: about a thirty five year time period or whatever, but
16:02
Speaker 1: to the extent you kind of at a very high
16:05
Speaker 1: level talk about it, Maxwell, listen, I think just full
16:09
Speaker 1: disclosure is the best way to go at this point. Blanche. Yeah. Maxwell.
16:14
Speaker 1: So in ninety two I slept with them one time,
16:16
Speaker 1: and I was like, whoa, that's it. We're going to
16:18
Speaker 1: be dating because that's what I thought. And I kind
16:22
Speaker 1: of thought of myself in that moment, like because you
16:25
Speaker 1: I felt if you slept with someone that you were
16:27
Speaker 1: dating them. Blanche, Yeah, Maxwell, that's the world I came from.
16:32
Speaker 1: But what really was well, that's how I thought, And
16:36
Speaker 1: but we didn't sleep together again for I don't know,
16:39
Speaker 1: really a significant period of time. And when I say
16:42
Speaker 1: to that, she's cut off by Blanche again, like years
16:46
Speaker 1: or Maxwell. I don't know if it was a year,
16:49
Speaker 1: I don't it feels that long, but maybe nine months.
16:52
Speaker 1: I mean a long time Todd, Blanche Okay, Maxwell and
16:56
Speaker 1: I just want to go back to I had found
16:58
Speaker 1: a house for him to rent to New York because
17:01
Speaker 1: he asked me, and I had been looking for one
17:03
Speaker 1: for my father, and I found one which was a
17:05
Speaker 1: former Iranian embassy I think it was. I think it
17:09
Speaker 1: belonged to the Iranians or the Iraqis or someone. Blanche okay, Maxwell,
17:15
Speaker 1: and I didn't know that he had any money. It was,
17:18
Speaker 1: like I want to say, it was twelve thousand a month,
17:21
Speaker 1: which to me seemed like a fortune. And I said
17:24
Speaker 1: to myself, I found this house, but I don't think
17:27
Speaker 1: you can afford it. He was like, that's ridiculous. Of
17:30
Speaker 1: course I can afford it. And he rented it. And
17:33
Speaker 1: that house came with it was State department house because
17:36
Speaker 1: it was I think was under sequestration or whatever it was.
17:41
Speaker 1: And I put it back together, but there were certain rules.
17:44
Speaker 1: You couldn't paint because it had to go back, and
17:46
Speaker 1: he gave it back to the country. Then, so he
17:50
Speaker 1: had his house and I moved into a ten foot
17:52
Speaker 1: by ten foot apartment because all of our stuff had
17:55
Speaker 1: either been lost or frozen or whatever. So he became
18:00
Speaker 1: in this moment, my lifeline really because I was everything
18:03
Speaker 1: was felt very similar to this moment, if that makes
18:06
Speaker 1: sense anyway. So I had a key to his house,
18:09
Speaker 1: I had no free access to his house, and in
18:12
Speaker 1: the entire time that he lived there, which was I
18:14
Speaker 1: believe until the beginning of nineteen ninety six, I never
18:18
Speaker 1: slept a single night in that house, never ever, not one.
18:22
Speaker 1: Just like I told you folks from the jump, Maxwell
18:25
Speaker 1: was never Jeffrey Epstein's girlfriend. People telling you that have
18:28
Speaker 1: been lying to you, Blanche, but you so you said
18:33
Speaker 1: a minute ago that you had slept with them on
18:36
Speaker 1: one occasion. And at that time remember thinking, you know
18:39
Speaker 1: that this meant you were in a relationship, but then
18:42
Speaker 1: it didn't. You really were not in that type of relationship. Maxwell. Well,
18:46
Speaker 1: I thought to that she's cut off by Blanche. Did
18:49
Speaker 1: that change over between ninety one and ninety two, or whatever.
18:53
Speaker 1: And years forward. Maxwell, So I did travel with him
18:57
Speaker 1: a lot, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, So I would go to
19:01
Speaker 1: his houses in Palm Beach. He only had that house
19:03
Speaker 1: actually in no, that's not true. We had the house
19:06
Speaker 1: in Palm Beach, and he had a house in Ohio, Blanche,
19:08
Speaker 1: and where Maxwell Ohio? Blanche, okay? Maxwell. And he had
19:14
Speaker 1: the house in Ohio because of his business relationship with
19:17
Speaker 1: mister Wexner, and he had and I had to go
19:22
Speaker 1: to decorate and put that house together. When we traveled together,
19:25
Speaker 1: we stayed in the same bed. But not but I didn't, Blanche,
19:29
Speaker 1: go ahead, It's okay. Talk. So if you stayed so
19:32
Speaker 1: when you would travel with him to his house in
19:34
Speaker 1: pom Beach, Ohio, or even just traveling, if it was
19:37
Speaker 1: just traveling with them, you would stay in the same bed.
19:40
Speaker 1: So sleep in the same bed with him, Maxwell, Yes,
19:43
Speaker 1: Blanche okay. Maxwell Epstein told me that he had a
19:47
Speaker 1: heart condition, David Marcus A what Maxwell a heart condition?
19:51
Speaker 1: Marcus heart condition, Blanche A heart condition, okay, Maxwell, which
19:57
Speaker 1: meant that he didn't have intercourse a lot, which suited
19:59
Speaker 1: me fe because I actually do have a medical condition
20:02
Speaker 1: which precludes me from having a lot of intercourse. She
20:05
Speaker 1: just perjured herself. Jeffrey Epstein was having sex with girls
20:09
Speaker 1: three times a day, Todd, Blanche, So what was your
20:13
Speaker 1: understanding of his heart condition and why was it preventing
20:16
Speaker 1: him from having intercourse regularly? Maxwell? I don't know. I
20:20
Speaker 1: mean he liked other forms of sexual activity. Blanche. Well,
20:23
Speaker 1: let's come back. We're going to obviously spend some time,
20:27
Speaker 1: a lot of time on the actual conduct he was
20:29
Speaker 1: accused of. So will Maxwell cuts them off? Okay, what
20:33
Speaker 1: do you mean, accused of the things he was guilty of, right,
20:37
Speaker 1: mister Blanche, You piece of garbage, Todd Blanche, Well, we'll
20:41
Speaker 1: come back to that. So pick up where where you
20:44
Speaker 1: were talking about you traveling around with him. He rented
20:46
Speaker 1: the New York former Iranian house, Maxwell Iranian. There you go. Yeah, Blanche,
20:52
Speaker 1: until around ninety six. At that time, you I believe
20:55
Speaker 1: you said that he was basically your life, like you
20:59
Speaker 1: were with him pretty regularly. Maxwell. Well, I know, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell,
21:05
Speaker 1: So I never was with them regularly, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell,
21:09
Speaker 1: that is one of those misnomers, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, I
21:13
Speaker 1: mean at the beginning I did see more of them,
21:16
Speaker 1: but I worked in his office, so I would go
21:18
Speaker 1: to the office and I would see him, and I
21:21
Speaker 1: would count in my head when I would see him.
21:24
Speaker 1: I would count that I would that would be a
21:26
Speaker 1: day that I would see him. But I didn't. I never, never,
21:29
Speaker 1: ever stayed with him, I believe, certainly until ninety three
21:32
Speaker 1: or ninety four. What I didn't know was that I
21:36
Speaker 1: think he was still with his actual girlfriend, who was
21:39
Speaker 1: Eva Anderson, who became Eva Dubin. They had been together
21:42
Speaker 1: my understanding, I think about ten years. I'm not sure,
21:46
Speaker 1: but that's what I think, ten years. And I had
21:49
Speaker 1: understood from my girlfriend initially that they weren't together, and
21:53
Speaker 1: Epstein himself told me that they were not together, but
21:56
Speaker 1: I don't think that was true. In fact, I know
21:59
Speaker 1: it's not true. So they were still together up until
22:01
Speaker 1: I think ninety four, when at some point in that
22:04
Speaker 1: period of time even met Glenn Dubin and they got married.
22:07
Speaker 1: I think in ninety four. I don't remember when they
22:11
Speaker 1: got married, but her, she was his best friend and
22:14
Speaker 1: his everything. He told me that he always wished that
22:17
Speaker 1: he had married her and had a child with her,
22:20
Speaker 1: and I know that day she was family for him,
22:23
Speaker 1: for his whole life, and I think even I'm not
22:25
Speaker 1: sure if this is true, but you guys will know
22:27
Speaker 1: if this is true or not when he came from
22:30
Speaker 1: back from Paris and you arrested him. I don't know
22:33
Speaker 1: if Eva was on the plane. Now I think that
22:35
Speaker 1: either I read it in the discovery that I received,
22:39
Speaker 1: or I saw it somewhere. But even if she wasn't
22:41
Speaker 1: on the plane, there must have been some email communication
22:44
Speaker 1: where she was in Paris at the same time and
22:47
Speaker 1: going to fly back one or the other, I don't
22:50
Speaker 1: know which one it is the correct version of that.
22:52
Speaker 1: But so they were still obviously very close and remained
22:56
Speaker 1: throughout the time. In fact, he was still saw a lot.
23:01
Speaker 1: And so I also know now which I didn't know
23:04
Speaker 1: at the time, was that he saw lots of other women.
23:07
Speaker 1: And I know that now because I can see I
23:10
Speaker 1: can see it from the fly logs. I know it
23:12
Speaker 1: now because I can see it from the emails Blanche.
23:15
Speaker 1: So you know from the case, Maxwell, yes, not from
23:19
Speaker 1: Blanche cuts her off, that what happened. Maxwell, Yes, I
23:22
Speaker 1: didn't know. Again, Blanche cuts her off. You didn't know
23:26
Speaker 1: that along the way, Maxwell, I was contemporaneously. I absolutely
23:31
Speaker 1: did not know at the time, Blanche, So okay, So
23:35
Speaker 1: just and we're going to spend time on everything you're
23:37
Speaker 1: talking about, but just kind of close out the big
23:40
Speaker 1: picture of your relationship. So we're now in the late nineties,
23:44
Speaker 1: continue on with again saying or staying high level to
23:48
Speaker 1: the extent you can about your relationship with them. Maxwell.
23:52
Speaker 1: So after my responsibility is increased with each acquisition that
23:56
Speaker 1: he had in each new project. So I believe the
23:59
Speaker 1: first thing that he purchased after was the ranch in
24:02
Speaker 1: New Mexico. Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, And so what he had
24:06
Speaker 1: tasked me with up until that, and I think that
24:09
Speaker 1: was purchased in ninety four, if I'm right. So he
24:11
Speaker 1: had tasked me. One of the things that we did
24:13
Speaker 1: was visit in my mind, I say every state, but
24:16
Speaker 1: it wouldn't have been every state, but many states to
24:19
Speaker 1: go look at real estate property. So I know we
24:22
Speaker 1: went to Montana, I know we went to Utah. It
24:25
Speaker 1: was it was to go look at real estate. It
24:27
Speaker 1: was fun, to be honest. And then I arranged for
24:31
Speaker 1: us to go to New Mexico and he just loved
24:33
Speaker 1: New Mexico. And then I don't remember how the ranch happened.
24:36
Speaker 1: I don't remember that now it's lost. And then he
24:39
Speaker 1: ended up buying the ranch, and I think, if I'm right,
24:42
Speaker 1: it came from well, the kings, who may have been
24:45
Speaker 1: the governor I you know, bought the ranch and then
24:49
Speaker 1: I had to deal with that. Dealing with that was
24:52
Speaker 1: the extent of it. The way that I thought of myself,
24:56
Speaker 1: or the way that I think is the best way
24:58
Speaker 1: to explain how my I view my role was as
25:01
Speaker 1: a general manager, because each property to me was like
25:04
Speaker 1: a hotel. So the ranch was very challenging because not
25:08
Speaker 1: only that, but it had BLM land, so it helped
25:11
Speaker 1: maintain your BLM. You have to have cattle, and I
25:14
Speaker 1: love animals, so the first thing horses, and so I
25:17
Speaker 1: wanted it. If you're going to have a ranch, I
25:20
Speaker 1: like authenticity, and so I don't think you should have
25:22
Speaker 1: a ranch if you're not going to have the things
25:24
Speaker 1: that make it special. Blanche, so were you? Were you
25:28
Speaker 1: paid by him along the way? Maxwell, So I to
25:31
Speaker 1: that Blanche cuts her off. During this time, Maxwell, I
25:34
Speaker 1: became salaried at some point, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, My memory
25:39
Speaker 1: is I got paid twenty five thousand dollars a year
25:41
Speaker 1: to begin with. That's my memory, I may be wrong,
25:45
Speaker 1: And then with each as it became obvious, because I
25:47
Speaker 1: kept thinking I was going to go home home being England,
25:51
Speaker 1: and but to that Blanche cuts her off. Did you
25:54
Speaker 1: and financially you were not relying on them the twenty
25:57
Speaker 1: five thousand or whatever amount you were paid. Were you
26:00
Speaker 1: relying on that money to live and did generosity to live?
26:03
Speaker 1: Or did you have your own money? Maxwell? So there's
26:07
Speaker 1: he cuts her off again and again. I want to
26:09
Speaker 1: just make sure we're talking about that, like keeping it
26:12
Speaker 1: between like the late nineties, you know, maybe I guess
26:15
Speaker 1: into a little of the two thousands, glam Maxwell. I
26:19
Speaker 1: just want to hit something on the head right now.
26:21
Speaker 1: There's a tremendous amount of reporting that said that I had.
26:26
Speaker 1: She gets cut off by Leah Saphine a trust fund? Maxwell,
26:30
Speaker 1: thank you? A trust fund. I have never had a
26:32
Speaker 1: trust fund at any time. Marcus, So, how did you live?
26:36
Speaker 1: Did you live with? I mean, twenty five thousand dollars
26:39
Speaker 1: is not enough to live on? Maxwell? No, So I
26:42
Speaker 1: had during this period of time, the Secret the Serious
26:45
Speaker 1: Fraud Squad had come to see me in relation to
26:47
Speaker 1: my father's passing and to establish whether I had been
26:50
Speaker 1: involved in any way with his business or any shenanigans.
26:55
Speaker 1: I think I told this story many times, so I
26:57
Speaker 1: don't know if it's now somewhat at all, but I'll
27:01
Speaker 1: tell you what it what my memory is. So I
27:03
Speaker 1: received a letter from them that said about my business,
27:06
Speaker 1: and my memory may be apocry full. There was a
27:09
Speaker 1: ps that said, unintelligible, I had nothing. There was no
27:14
Speaker 1: I was never involved in any of his businesses whatsoever.
27:17
Speaker 1: So I was free, Blanche. And were you so your
27:20
Speaker 1: You know, obviously your father and your family had a
27:23
Speaker 1: lot of businesses. Is it because of the money. Whatever
27:27
Speaker 1: money or whatever equity was in the business just stayed
27:30
Speaker 1: with your other family members. Maxwell, No, there was no money.
27:34
Speaker 1: So my father was never attached to money. He was
27:37
Speaker 1: born a peasant or real one dirt floor, no shoes
27:40
Speaker 1: or clothes. Some clothes, but not you know, Sorry, I
27:43
Speaker 1: don't mean to say nothing. And he never he was
27:46
Speaker 1: never into that. I mean there were things that he had,
27:49
Speaker 1: his extravagances. He loved his boat and his plane, so
27:52
Speaker 1: obviously you need money for that, but there was no
27:55
Speaker 1: nothing else. There was not a single penny that came
27:58
Speaker 1: to any of us at any time ever, Blanche. Okay,
28:02
Speaker 1: So when you're talking about your life with Epstein in
28:04
Speaker 1: the nineties, you're not very different financially. You're a very
28:09
Speaker 1: different financially position than he is. Oh, here we go.
28:12
Speaker 1: This is all about making her a victim. That's what
28:14
Speaker 1: this is. You should be disgusted by this bullshit. Oh
28:18
Speaker 1: poor Maxwell was only making twenty five g's a year, Blanche,
28:23
Speaker 1: meaning he'd give you money. He's paying for you when
28:26
Speaker 1: you fly. I assume he pays for your flights. Maxwell. Yes, Blanche, okay,
28:31
Speaker 1: So you I interrupted you when you were saying how
28:33
Speaker 1: you were functioning as a general manager, you help with
28:36
Speaker 1: the new Mexico ranch. So did you your role with
28:39
Speaker 1: him continue like that for many years? Or for how long? Maxwell?
28:43
Speaker 1: So I continued in two thousand. Well, in ninety nine,
28:46
Speaker 1: our relationship had foundered, Blanche. Why? Maxwell, Well, two reasons.
28:51
Speaker 1: We were never sleeping together again. So we stopped having
28:54
Speaker 1: sexual relations in ninety nine. Not full sex. Sorry, just
28:57
Speaker 1: to be clear. Didn't mean that we didn't still share
29:00
Speaker 1: a bedroom sometimes or whatever. He had another girlfriend, Blanche,
29:05
Speaker 1: He had what Maxwell other girlfriends. I definitively knew that
29:09
Speaker 1: it was over after nine to eleven actually because we
29:12
Speaker 1: were both in New York and I don't know were
29:15
Speaker 1: you in New York on nine eleven? I mean nine
29:17
Speaker 1: to eleven. It was a scary time and if you
29:20
Speaker 1: were in New York, you didn't know. I didn't know,
29:22
Speaker 1: nobody knew what was going on. And he was in
29:24
Speaker 1: the seventy first Street and I was in sixty fifth
29:27
Speaker 1: Street at my house, and he wouldn't see me at all,
29:30
Speaker 1: asked me his mom, who I'm very close to, who
29:33
Speaker 1: was in the hospital at Lenox Hill, just asked me
29:35
Speaker 1: to look after her. And then I knew, as anyone
29:38
Speaker 1: did at the time, if you're not going to be
29:40
Speaker 1: there for someone in nine to eleven, you're never going
29:42
Speaker 1: to be there. So for me, that was the line's end.
29:46
Speaker 1: And he had another English girlfriend actually from two thousand. Blanche,
29:50
Speaker 1: Are you though still being paid by him by at
29:53
Speaker 1: this point Maxwell, Yes, Blanche, Okay, so go ahead. So
29:58
Speaker 1: at that point when you say you're I realized kind
30:00
Speaker 1: of it was over. Maxwell, Well, I mean I'm talking
30:04
Speaker 1: about I had there was I wanted to get married
30:07
Speaker 1: and have children, and Epstein had encouraged me to believe
30:11
Speaker 1: that would I don't know about the certainly by the
30:13
Speaker 1: mid late nineties, I knew the marriage part was never
30:16
Speaker 1: going to happen. I had believed that maybe in ninety six,
30:20
Speaker 1: ninety seven, ninety eight, maybe, But then I realized I
30:23
Speaker 1: wasn't that. But I did think that we might have
30:26
Speaker 1: a child, which is what I really wanted, and I
30:29
Speaker 1: realized to that. Blanche cuts her off. So okay, so
30:32
Speaker 1: what happens between two thousand and one then twenty nineteen
30:36
Speaker 1: with your relationship with them? All right, we're gonna wrap
30:39
Speaker 1: up right here, and in the next episode dealing with
30:41
Speaker 1: the topic, we're gonna pick up where we left off.
30:44
Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
30:46
Speaker 1: be found in the description box. What's up, everyone, and
30:50
Speaker 1: welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode,
30:54
Speaker 1: we're picking up where we left off with the Glenn
30:57
Speaker 1: Maxwell transcript from July twenty four Blanche, So, okay, so
31:02
Speaker 1: what happened between two thousand and one and then twenty
31:05
Speaker 1: nineteen with your relationship with them? Give her take two
31:09
Speaker 1: thousand and one, Maxwell, So we stopped having physicality. I
31:12
Speaker 1: mean that doesn't mean we weren't friends. I certainly did
31:15
Speaker 1: stay sometimes in his room. I mean friends with benefits
31:19
Speaker 1: if you will just not sex. Sorry. And I started
31:22
Speaker 1: dating Blanche, okay, Maxwell, and I met someone that I
31:26
Speaker 1: fell very much in love with in two thousand and three.
31:29
Speaker 1: His name was Ted Waite. Ted Waite you may know
31:32
Speaker 1: as the founder of Gateway the computers, and we had
31:35
Speaker 1: an amazing relationship that ended went on until twenty ten,
31:39
Speaker 1: I think, and I was with Ted from that time, Blanche,
31:43
Speaker 1: Did you meet him through mister Epstein? Maxwell? No, well, indirectly,
31:47
Speaker 1: I suppose you could say so. No, they'd never met.
31:51
Speaker 1: I was at a dinner party where I met Ted,
31:53
Speaker 1: but it wasn't I was with President Clinton. President Clinton
31:58
Speaker 1: was my friend, not Epstein's friend. And Epstein was flown
32:01
Speaker 1: him and there was a dinner and Ted came to
32:04
Speaker 1: the dinner. So I guess indirectly through mister Epstein because
32:08
Speaker 1: it was with his plane. But I'd have been there
32:11
Speaker 1: anyway without him. I had had not the And as
32:14
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell is stammering, her lawyer David Marcus steps in,
32:19
Speaker 1: was Epstein on the plane when you guys flew Maxwell
32:21
Speaker 1: on the trip? Yes? Well yes they that, yes, Blanche.
32:26
Speaker 1: So when you say they the dinner, what was that?
32:31
Speaker 1: Maxwell in Hong Kong, Blanche, okay, And so you had
32:35
Speaker 1: flown over with So who was on the plane for
32:37
Speaker 1: that trip? I don't mean everybody when you said so,
32:40
Speaker 1: mister Epstein was on the plane. Maxwell, Yes, Blanche, you
32:44
Speaker 1: were on the plane. Maxwell, Yes, Blanche. Who else that
32:47
Speaker 1: you can remember? I'm not you know, you only remember
32:50
Speaker 1: what you remember. Marcus was President Clinton on the plane, Maxwell, Clinton,
32:55
Speaker 1: he would have he would have had his guy Doug Vance,
32:59
Speaker 1: maybe Ja Cooper, maybe the two Todd Blanche, And and so,
33:05
Speaker 1: why so how did you meet So? Why did you
33:07
Speaker 1: say that's when you met him, and that you met
33:11
Speaker 1: him through Clinton? Maxwell? Well, it was I don't think
33:15
Speaker 1: Ted would have been there had it not been. It
33:18
Speaker 1: was a President Clinton dinner, and Ted came to be
33:20
Speaker 1: with President Clinton. Blanche, I see Maxwell, not to be
33:24
Speaker 1: with mister Epstein. Does that make sense, Blanche? Yes? Maxwell,
33:29
Speaker 1: That's why I say that, Blanche. Okay. So you're you're
33:32
Speaker 1: in a time when you're dating that, you're with him
33:35
Speaker 1: into two thousand and nine. Are you still working for
33:38
Speaker 1: mister Epstein during that time? Maxwell? So it'd be true
33:43
Speaker 1: to say that Jeffrey tried very hard. He tried very
33:46
Speaker 1: hard to keep me working for him, because this is
33:49
Speaker 1: a complex operator. I'm not talking about anything on the ward,
33:53
Speaker 1: just the sheer size of the projects. I'm talking the
33:56
Speaker 1: construction projects, the houses, the staff. It's really a significant job.
34:01
Speaker 1: And I ran all the properties, the staff in the properties,
34:04
Speaker 1: the management of the properties, and all the construction. And
34:08
Speaker 1: we're talking tens of millions of dollars for the island alone.
34:11
Speaker 1: I can't remember what the budget was for the construction
34:14
Speaker 1: on any given year. It's gone. But these are very
34:18
Speaker 1: significant projects. And so that's what I did. I managed
34:21
Speaker 1: the budgets. Well, not I didn't manage the budgets. I
34:25
Speaker 1: oversaw the budgets. So I would just make sure that
34:28
Speaker 1: if you said you bought an air conditioning part, I
34:31
Speaker 1: saw an air conditioning part, and I could call the
34:33
Speaker 1: island manager, did you receive the carrier whatever? You know? Blanche.
34:38
Speaker 1: When did mister Epstein purchase the island, Glenn Maxwell, I
34:41
Speaker 1: want to say ninety six or ninety seven, something like that, Blanche. Okay,
34:46
Speaker 1: So we're going to come back and spend more time
34:48
Speaker 1: on the money with respect to mister Epstein and his wealth,
34:52
Speaker 1: but just so we can finish this. So in two
34:55
Speaker 1: thousand and nine, you end your relationship with Ted Maxwell nine,
35:00
Speaker 1: I'm twenty ten, Blanche, okay, Maxwell, I can't remember if
35:04
Speaker 1: it was twenty ten, Blanche okay. So in that time period,
35:08
Speaker 1: what happens next? As far as your relationship with mister Epstein, Maxwell,
35:13
Speaker 1: I don't have one with him, Blanche, you don't have
35:16
Speaker 1: one with him, like you don't see him or it's
35:18
Speaker 1: just a different relationship. Maxwell. I did see I maybe
35:23
Speaker 1: saw him once or twice, maybe even three times. I
35:26
Speaker 1: certainly went to his house once for sure, maybe twice.
35:29
Speaker 1: But I was not seeing him. The only time I
35:32
Speaker 1: was in touch with him was when things happened, like
35:35
Speaker 1: things I mean in the press that affected me, or
35:38
Speaker 1: the CVR case that was filed and there was like
35:40
Speaker 1: rubbish that went out because I needed information because I
35:44
Speaker 1: didn't know, I didn't know anything about what was happening,
35:47
Speaker 1: and I needed his help a to understand. Well, that
35:50
Speaker 1: doesn't sound right. Let me rephrase that. I don't mean
35:52
Speaker 1: his help. I meant to have answers so that I
35:55
Speaker 1: had an ability to defend myself. That's what I'm talking about.
35:58
Speaker 1: I'm not talking about any She's cut off by Blanche.
36:02
Speaker 1: So when does that relationship change, So you're working you
36:06
Speaker 1: talked about when your physical relationship stopped, and then you're
36:10
Speaker 1: still working for him or with the managing his properties
36:13
Speaker 1: and being and serving as like a general manager. You
36:16
Speaker 1: then start your own relationship with another individual with Ted
36:20
Speaker 1: from two thousand and three to two thousand and nine
36:22
Speaker 1: or ten, At what point in that whole period is
36:25
Speaker 1: there like more of a break where you're no longer
36:28
Speaker 1: acting as a general manager? Maxwell, I wanted to have
36:32
Speaker 1: a full break when I started dating Ted, and he
36:35
Speaker 1: was clever. I suppose it would be true to say
36:38
Speaker 1: that I sort of viewed mister Epstein at that point
36:40
Speaker 1: as sort of family, if you will, like someone I
36:43
Speaker 1: could rely on, and I should have had more confidence
36:46
Speaker 1: in myself. I can see that now, but at the time,
36:49
Speaker 1: given everything that had happened in my life, I thought
36:52
Speaker 1: it would and I saw how he was with other
36:55
Speaker 1: people like Eva, who seemed to be very comfortable with him,
36:58
Speaker 1: and I thought this would be He always said I
37:01
Speaker 1: was like family, so he worked hard to make maintain
37:04
Speaker 1: a relationship with me. He was generous with me. He
37:08
Speaker 1: let me use the plane, for instance, which was very generous.
37:11
Speaker 1: He would check in with mom. He did things that
37:14
Speaker 1: were meaningful to me in that time, and then it
37:17
Speaker 1: may still not have worked. But his mother, Paula, had
37:21
Speaker 1: been in a very serious car crash. She had become
37:24
Speaker 1: sort of like a surrogate mother for me, sort of
37:27
Speaker 1: because my mom wasn't there, so I could look out
37:30
Speaker 1: for her the way I would have looked out for
37:32
Speaker 1: my own mom. So I became very close to his mother.
37:36
Speaker 1: And she had been in a car crash, and in
37:38
Speaker 1: two thousand and four, I believe it may have been
37:40
Speaker 1: two thousand and five, I don't recall exactly. She took
37:43
Speaker 1: her health took a serious decline, and Epstein called me
37:46
Speaker 1: and asked me if I could look after her. And
37:48
Speaker 1: by looking after her, that meant organizing her doctors, making
37:52
Speaker 1: sure she had new clothes, making sure her house was clean.
37:56
Speaker 1: Marcus Maxwell's lawyer interjects, where where was she Maxwell? She
38:02
Speaker 1: lived in a retirement establishment outside of Palm Beach, outside
38:06
Speaker 1: West Palm Beach. I was going to say something like
38:09
Speaker 1: the Golden Girls, but it's not called that. I just
38:11
Speaker 1: don't remember what it's called. But it was an old age,
38:14
Speaker 1: it was a retirement home, if you will, Marcus Todd,
38:17
Speaker 1: I don't know. We've been going for maybe about an hour. Now.
38:20
Speaker 1: Do you think this is a good time to Blanche? Yeah, yeah,
38:24
Speaker 1: so we'll take him in a break. Nice to see
38:26
Speaker 1: that David Marcus is running the show. What a clown,
38:28
Speaker 1: this David Marcus dude is anyway, Spencer Horn, all right,
38:33
Speaker 1: so we're going to take a break. The time is
38:35
Speaker 1: ten fifty six. Break at ten fifty six until eleven
38:40
Speaker 1: oh seven am. Spencer Horn, We're continuing the proffer interview
38:44
Speaker 1: of Miss Maxwell. The time is eleven oh seven am
38:47
Speaker 1: on Thursday, July twenty fourth, Blanche. Al right, so just
38:52
Speaker 1: picking up where we stopped, you have basically a break,
38:55
Speaker 1: well not a break, that's the wrong word, but your
38:58
Speaker 1: relationship with Miss mack professional and other changes in two
39:02
Speaker 1: thousand and three, two thousand and four Maxwell. Yeah, I
39:06
Speaker 1: mean over the time that I will stay with Ted.
39:09
Speaker 1: The more time I spent with Ted, the more distance
39:12
Speaker 1: I have with him. And when the arrest, well, let's
39:15
Speaker 1: go back when whatever happened in two thousand and five,
39:19
Speaker 1: and he became arrested in two thousand and six, Blanche,
39:22
Speaker 1: So when he was charged and arrested in what we'll
39:25
Speaker 1: call the Florida investigations. That's what you're talking about. Maxwell,
39:29
Speaker 1: I am Blanche, Okay, go ahead, Maxwell, So I was
39:34
Speaker 1: not well, Blanche cuts her off. Well where you're part
39:37
Speaker 1: of that investigation? Maxwell? Absolutely not, Blanche. Did law enforcement
39:42
Speaker 1: ever talk to you as part of that, Maxwell no Blanche?
39:47
Speaker 1: Did you like the Feds never talked to you, Maxwell
39:50
Speaker 1: no Blanche, The FBI never talked to you, Maxwell no Blanche?
39:55
Speaker 1: Do you know to that she's he's cut off by Maxwell.
39:58
Speaker 1: I never even received a phone call, Blanche? Did you
40:01
Speaker 1: didn't you get subpoenas? Maxwell no Blanche? Did the state
40:06
Speaker 1: law enforcement ever reach out to you? Maxwell no blanche,
40:10
Speaker 1: as far as you know, did the government, either state
40:12
Speaker 1: or federal, subpoena your bank records or subpoena anything from
40:16
Speaker 1: your financial life during that time? During that time? Maxwell, No,
40:21
Speaker 1: not as far as I'm aware now. If they did,
40:24
Speaker 1: I didn't know about it, and I have no idea
40:26
Speaker 1: about that, to be honest, But I'm not aware of it,
40:29
Speaker 1: and I would say no. But maybe you guys do
40:31
Speaker 1: things that I don't know. Blanche, So how did you
40:35
Speaker 1: learn of that case when mister Epstein was arrested or
40:38
Speaker 1: did you know that something was happening before then. Maxwell.
40:42
Speaker 1: The first thing I knew was when he told me
40:45
Speaker 1: he was deciding to redecorate his house in Palm Beach.
40:48
Speaker 1: It didn't surprise me. It was like a rolling situation, Blanche.
40:53
Speaker 1: But by that time, are you doing like he tells
40:56
Speaker 1: you because he wants your help or your relationship changed?
40:59
Speaker 1: By this time, I'm where you were no longer kind
41:02
Speaker 1: of acting as his general manager. Maxwell. No, I was
41:06
Speaker 1: still around, Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, I wasn't gone. I was
41:10
Speaker 1: with Ted, I was traveling. I wasn't daily. If you
41:13
Speaker 1: would ask me where he was at any given time,
41:16
Speaker 1: I'm not sure I would have known then. I mean
41:18
Speaker 1: it was I felt like I suppose the relationship moved
41:21
Speaker 1: into sort of like the long term friendly family, you know,
41:25
Speaker 1: like she's cut off again by Blanche like I felt
41:29
Speaker 1: he had with Eva. If I'm honest, Blanche. Yeah, Okay.
41:33
Speaker 1: So he says to you he's going to redecorate the
41:36
Speaker 1: Palm Beach house. Maxwell. He asked me specifically which decorator
41:40
Speaker 1: he thinks he should use, because I had a lot
41:43
Speaker 1: of contacts with decorators, and he was not very good
41:46
Speaker 1: with people. He was useless at maintaining relationships with people
41:49
Speaker 1: who work for him. I'm not so anyways, I recommended
41:53
Speaker 1: I think I recommended. I can't be one hundred percent
41:55
Speaker 1: sure because it's been a long time, but I think
41:58
Speaker 1: I recommended Mark at the time. Blanche Who, Glenn, Maxwell,
42:04
Speaker 1: Mark Zeff, Blanche Okay, Maxwell, I believe. I don't know why.
42:09
Speaker 1: I don't remember. That's all lost to time. But anyway,
42:12
Speaker 1: at some point, I think his mother had died. Now
42:15
Speaker 1: I can't remember the timing of all that either, Blanche Okay, Maxwell.
42:20
Speaker 1: But I ended up in Palm Beach and he asked
42:22
Speaker 1: me to come and look at the watches or whatever
42:25
Speaker 1: he was doing, because they had laid it all over
42:28
Speaker 1: the house and various things, and I think he'd ask
42:31
Speaker 1: for my opinion. That's my memory of this. It may
42:35
Speaker 1: also be that Ted and I were going to Palm
42:37
Speaker 1: Beach because Ted had a golf match or something. There
42:40
Speaker 1: was a reason I was in pom Beach. It wasn't solely.
42:43
Speaker 1: Maybe that's not true either. I don't know so to
42:46
Speaker 1: that she's cut off by Blanche Okay, then Maxwell, you know,
42:50
Speaker 1: sometimes I went to pom Beach because Ted was there.
42:54
Speaker 1: I don't know if that's part of that time, Blanche, okay,
42:57
Speaker 1: go ahead, Maxwell or Ted went and left. I don't
43:00
Speaker 1: know something anyway, I was there. No, that's not how
43:04
Speaker 1: that went either. No, anyway, at some point in that time,
43:07
Speaker 1: I was all this swatches. At some point in two
43:10
Speaker 1: thousand and five, I think that was. And then I
43:13
Speaker 1: believe or I don't remember. I think I got a
43:15
Speaker 1: phone call. Actually I wasn't in Palm Beach. I think
43:19
Speaker 1: I got a phone call that there was police at
43:21
Speaker 1: his house or something, Blanche. And would you have gotten
43:25
Speaker 1: a phone call from him, or do you think that
43:27
Speaker 1: you were just told by somebody that knew that it
43:29
Speaker 1: had happened, or don't you remember? Maxwell? Definitely not him,
43:34
Speaker 1: Blanche Okay, Maxwell, I think it would have been the houseman, Blanche.
43:39
Speaker 1: So when that happens, whenever it was, that's kind of
43:42
Speaker 1: the first time you know about mister Epstein being investigated
43:45
Speaker 1: for Maxwell cuts him off and even know I didn't
43:47
Speaker 1: even understand Blanche Okay, Maxwell, I didn't have a context
43:52
Speaker 1: for that. Blanche Okay. Maxwell, it was like I didn't know,
43:56
Speaker 1: I didn't know Blanche okay. So after Maxwell cuts them
44:00
Speaker 1: off again, I'm not sure even what I thought. I
44:03
Speaker 1: was like, that's weird, Blanche. So after after you find
44:07
Speaker 1: out about it, what happens with your relationship with them?
44:11
Speaker 1: All Right, we're gonna wrap up right here, and in
44:13
Speaker 1: the next episode dealing with the topic, we're gonna pick
44:15
Speaker 1: up where we left off. All of the information that
44:18
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
