- Powerball Nears 300 Million! This is The Lottery Rundown for Thursday September 17th Powerball drew Wednesday night with 2, 21, 24, 25 and 64, plus Powerball 7 and a 2X multiplier. Nobody matched all six, sending the jackpot into another round. White ball 21 is the most-drawn Powerball white ball over the last six years with 81 appearances, while 25 sits among the five least-drawn at 53 appearances. That pairing is the statistical equivalent of seating the mayor beside the town recluse. Saturday’s jackpot is estimated at 298 million dollars, with a cash value of 126 million 600 thousand dollars. That could buy a private fleet of bookmobiles staffed entirely by retired magicians. Which title would you check out first? The run is 15 drawings and 35 days, a fairly routine stretch by recent standards. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Tuesday, September 15, with 27, 36, 43, 57 and 58, plus Mega Ball 16. No ticket swept the jackpot. Mega Ball 16 ranks among the five most-drawn Mega Balls over the past six years, turning up 28 times. Friday’s jackpot is estimated at 244 million dollars, with a cash value of 103 million 500 thousand dollars. It has rolled through 14 drawings and 49 days without a jackpot winner, still a pretty normal wait by recent standards.
