Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning friends and enemies and welcome back into the very first fantasy football video of the 2026 season.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is how I believe in my humble expert never wrong sometimes early opinion the first round of 2026 fantasy football drafts should go.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is one quarterback leagues primarily PPR scoring,
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: season.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: He just ripped off 2300 yards from Scrimmage, and it kind of felt like a tame season for him to be honest, and he's just hitting his prime obviously, he's just hitting his peak, and it felt tame because he scored 11 touchdowns.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: When you look at all of the other players within this mix within this mold, the guy's a scored at the top of fantasy leaderboards, it was because the number of touchdowns that they typically have.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: Now, when we're looking at Atlanta situation, Tyler Algier is no longer there.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's in Arizona now, and that matters because they were forcing him the ball on the goal line, obviously.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: As a year in B. John last year had the same amount of rushes inside the 5-yard line, right?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: Some dudes that had more carries inside the 5-yard line last year than B. John Robinson.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: Jacoye Croskey-Maret, Sean Tucker, Devon Singletary, Chris Rotterie-Giz.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: It is important to note that Bryan Robinson is now been brought into Atlanta.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he'll play as significant as a role as Tyler Ajire did, but I do think they got him for a nice discount based on what Tyler was year ended up getting paid, and I do think they'll use him to spell B. John, but even
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: last year you could see the significant change in just overall touches production and how they wanted that offense to flow through B. John Robinson.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you take that step down further in terms of where the touch split is going to go more so towards B. John.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: Last year the Falcons ranked
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: tenth in run blocking in their offensive line, which was really surprising even the fact that Drew Domin left to go over to Chicago and there's one of the bigger reasons that they were so good.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: In the run blocking unit, they also lost Caleb McGarry and Storm Norton.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're tackles for the entire season early on in the season last year and they'll be getting both of those guys back now.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: The big question here is obviously quarterback play.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: Can we get sustainable QB play for me, their panics or to a, we saw to a dice it up with Devon H and this year.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: We also have Kevin Sefanti coming in as the head coach.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: We have his former OC Tommy Reese from Cleveland coming in as well.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: Bions in OC proof guy pretty much a quarterback proof guy.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing to note here too is like, even if the quarterback play is not great, they're still playing in the NFC South.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: They still look at the play Carolina, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, six times a year.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: Most of their
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I would also argue that the poor quarterback play from last year, factored into the reason that B. John only had seven rushing touchdowns.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: So that felt like a little bit of a four season for B. John, if we're being honest with each other here.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: So B. John will be my number one.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: We'll move to number two, which is Jamir Gibbs, and I actually have zero zero issues with anyone that wants to take Jamir Gibbs over B. John at one.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like arguing the one, two, three, anyone in like the top five, you're wasting your breath, like none of them are gonna lose your season.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: Jamir Gibbs, similar to B. John, who loses Tarajira, Jamir Gibbs now loses David Montgomery.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's in Houston and it's crazy to say because Jamir Gibbs over the last two seasons has scored 18 and 20 touchdowns.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: Somehow comes into this year with touchdown upside on top of those numbers.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: That might be one of the crazier storylines going into this year.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like he somehow has scored almost 40 touchdowns over the last few years and has untapped
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: Last year, he had eight carries inside the five-yard line.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: Dave Montgomery had 14, which was eighth most among running backs.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: If you take a look at this chart, this is the splits with you mirror Gibbs, and Dave Montgomery playing together versus without them.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, this is a huge storyline.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: Any time Dave Montgomery's out, you mirror Gibbs goes fucking nutty in the fantasy world.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: You can see in the out-split column there, and also just the green column to the right of it.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: His rushing arts go up by 43 yards.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: Scores almost an extra half a touchdown per game.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: eight and a half PPR points more per game with Davey Montgomery is not on the field now they do bring in i's apacheco here so he will play a little bit of the replacement role for Davey Montgomery and even last year we saw Davey Montgomery get pretty pretty strongly phased out of the overall offense in favor of Gibbs and I think similar to Brian Robinson going into Atlanta like we'll see an even water down version of what that split ended up being I think we'll see the same thing with Pacheco in Detroit he's not the player that Davey Montgomery is and I think they know that there
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: The Lions do bring injury petting as their offensive coordinator, which I don't love for the overall offensive structure, but he was the former O.C.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: in Arizona.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: They always had like pretty strong ground games as long as they're running back state healthy.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not overly worried about the off in the coordinator, Detroit or their system being all a walky or whatever.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: They have so much continuity with the players on that team that I think it's, you know, business as usual for them.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: One of the crazier parts of this too, the Lions finished
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: nine and eight last year and they are the fourth place team in the NFC North Division.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: So while we don't know exactly who they're playing, like obviously get the bears, they'll get the Vikings, they'll get the Packers, they will have a fourth place schedule, and that's something that I think people need to like understand a little bit more.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: We saw that almost taken to the top of the spectrum last year, like the Patriots, right?
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: They went from really bad to amazing, thanks a lot in part to Drake Mays quarterback play, but the fact that they had a fourth place schedule, like you don't really think about it now,
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: that shit matters when you're the fourth place team in a division you get the fourth place schedule for the upcoming year and the lines will have an incredibly easy schedule another team that plays in the dome.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: They might literally be the best team ever to have a fourth place schedule.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: So give me Gibbs, give me that schedule.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: Moving on down, I've got Pukena Kua at the number three spot right now is ADP is fourth overall.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I would be picking him one spot higher.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to assume the rehab stint is in the rear view, come summer and that won't be a problem for him.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: You
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: Last year, Puka missed the game and still outscored JSN.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: He outscored Almond Ross St. Brown by 50 points, Jamar Chase by over 60 points.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: Stafford is back, he's resigned, Sean McVay is back.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: This is just one I'm not about to overthink.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: Next up at the 104, we've got Jackson Smith in Jigba out there in Seattle and St. Breakout, obviously depending on what source you use, he was somewhere between like a 36 and a 40% target share.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: In that Seattle offense,
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the highest target shares in a single season ever, and there wasn't a ton of change in that offense.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: I still have Busted Cooper Cup, Rashid Juhi, they resigned or extended.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's not really a high volume player.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't really make much of a difference in Jason's target share last year.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: I really do like Tory Horton, but he never really got a crack at the offense and with the veteran still in place there.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see him getting a bigger role change.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I think this offense is just going to run
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: Through Jason, through Jason, through Jason.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what their crown game looks like.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, obviously got rid of Kenneth Walker, his extra binase coming back from the ACL.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: They drafted during price in the first round.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm imagining it's going to run through him, but we don't know how successful it's going to be.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: They might have to push more through the air.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: I will say, I will say I'm definitely legitimately concerned about them losing Clinkoobiac as their offensive coordinator who goes to the Raiders in the head coaching position.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Their new offensive coordinator, let me make sure I get this right, Bryan Flurry, was the former San Francisco Run Game Coordinator slash Titans Coach.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: Shanahan, I guess you want to just connect that string there, connect the dot side, whatever, JSN obviously full fled superstar at this point, very little target competition in that offense.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: They will have a first place schedule, which will be relatively tough there.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they get the Rams twice, Sam Fran will be a lot healthier on the defensive side of the ball this year.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: There's only will be terrible, but that's great for everybody.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: He's just an incredibly high floor player in PPR leagues who might see a bit of a dip overall, just based on schedule and not having clink who be acting that offense any more.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move to number five.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: That would be Jumar Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: His current 80 PS three overall.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: So people like him right in the tier below B, John right in the tier below Gibbs, and then it's immediately Jumar Chase.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I've got him as five.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I have no problem, honestly, if you wanted to take any of these guys at three, at two, at four, it's all kind of like the same tier to me.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: He's another extremely high-floor player, has incredible chemistry with Joe Burrow.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: But we'll say, like, as someone who drafted Jumar as my first round pick in, like, my highest, you know, the league that mattered most to me last year, I preferred him with Flacco, more than I did with Burrow.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: If any of you guys were chase owners last year, you probably felt the same.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think when Burl came back, he gave Higgins a lot of very, very, very valuable targets.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the deep balls, a lot of the red zone looks and that I'm going to Higgins there, which is always going to be the case when you have two superstar receivers on the outside.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: I would say the more legitimate concern as it relates to just pure fantasy upside for the bangles and this passing offense is the overall improvement of their defense through the off season.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's in theory at least.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: So they add Dexter Lawrence, they add Boy Muffay, they add Jonathan Allen, the draft was basically entirely defense as it should have been for them.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: So they will have an improved defense.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: How much that actually comes to the forefront, how much that comes to reality, will be the difference maker of whether or not they need to score 40 points a game, whether or not they need to score 35 points a game in order to keep up.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: But at the end of the day, I don't think there's any way that you could genuinely sit here and argue that their horrendous defense over the last, you know, two to three years hasn't contributed to the insane passing statistical upside that we've seen from Borough from Chase from Higgins.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, if I have to like fucking go out of my way to make an argument about why I have Chase five and said a three, that would be the one thing I'm looking at.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got Christian McAfrey, another dude where I listen.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you had him last year and you fucking wanted to take him one over all this year, I don't really have any logical argument against that.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's old.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's a year older, but he still has zero competition.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: They drafted Caleb Black in the third round, but most people said that that was a reach and Kyle Shanahan just like continues to add.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: guys through the draft that never pan out in this backfield.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's like everything and every down and every play and every situation just runs through CMAC as long as he is alive and on the field.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't really see that changing.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: And Brian Robinson again is out in Atlanta there.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like even if he averages 3.5 yards per carry again, his target numbers, if you look at the makeup of this offense, they did bring in Mike Evans.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: So like that will, you know, vacuum up a decent amount of offense, but George Kittle has the torn Achilles very late in the year.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Joanne Jennings is now in Minnesota.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: Brennan, I, you first class, take it to the fucking loony bin right now.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of the targets that had been what made up this nighters offense over the last few years.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: And George Kittal might be ready for like week one, we too, whatever.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: And and maybe slowly gets incremented into the offense.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: But I think with all these moving parts, like CMAC is probably in line to be
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the, if not the number two target in this offense for a very, very large portion of this season again, so again, we saw his rushing ability kind of slip back and move away from the overall explosiveness that he had when he was a little bit younger, but then we also saw it not matter, like he put up in insane fantasy season last year, one of the best of all time, and it was because the amount of involvement he had in the passing game and that's probably just going to be the same.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to bet on him just being older and getting hurt or something like that, you can be my guest.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: Number seven, we've got another running back.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: So we're kind of moving back to form where it's like workhorse running back, or are getting respect again in fantasy land here.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Jonathan Taylor out there in Indy.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: His current ADP is seven.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: I have him at seven.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was just a complete fucking alien last year.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: And it was like, despite losing wheel fries on the line, Ryan Kelly on the line to the Vikings, they bounce back.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: And we're one of the strongest run blocking lines in the NFL last year.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's zero competition, once again, for Jonathan Taylor in the backfield, you're just getting a workhorse running back one game-breaking ability, very high floor.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: The obvious elephant in the room here is Daniel Jones and his return timetable for the torn Achilles that he suffered in week 14 last year.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: They resound him, he is their quarterback of the near future.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: And while I expect his mobility to be a bit limited, for sure, at least for the first half of the season.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: I do think he still ends up suiting up for the very large majority of the cults games in 2026.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've just made a lot of progress in the last few years, five years, whatever, as it relates to Achilles' tears and players' ability to rehab from them and get back to 80% of themselves relatively quickly.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: And quarterback is one of those positions where you're not running back a receiver where you need incredible explosiveness to get off the line of scrimmage at all times.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I think DJ will be fine.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we'll see so much similar offense to what we saw last year in in Indy so JT should be more the same from what we saw last year obviously he's kind of below these other guys is because his past catching ability does not hit the ceiling that these other guys do but you want to talk about past catching abilities and a ceiling
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: That is I'm on raw same brown he's coming in at number eight for me just as consistent as they come Be just the top five fantasy water sea or if not top three guy You're in you're out.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's just you're never going to regret having I'm on raw same brown on your fantasy team It's just like how many years in a row?
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Do we need that to be the case in order for it to just become a fact right and I think we're there.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're there
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: Number nine, and I see a lot of people putting this guy, CD Lamb, above, I'm on Ross St. Brown, eight, over nine.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: Not one I really argue too heavily against.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you're looking for a little bit more ceiling, lamb feels like the guy that can give that to you.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's obviously a lot better than what he posted last year.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's dealing with some injuries, but you know, you can't just not talk about the emergence of George Pickett.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's very, very, very real, and I think that does hurt
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the best in the game, just on a pure, you know, just receiver talent level basis, plus what he did back in 2023 is like the ceiling that we all kind of envisioned for him.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of people that drafted him last year assume that that would be the case for him again, but it's going to be hard to sniff that, man.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's really going to be hard to get there when you have another legitimate 1200 1300 yard receiver on the other side of the field.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: There are just simply going to be games that are the George Pickens games.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like we saw those a lot this year and CD will kind of take a back seat.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: And the other argument to be made here, I think against CD a little bit is very similar to what I said about Jamar Chase is that their defense will no longer in my opinion be like a bottom three bottom five bottom two defense going into this year.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure there's still be those still being the bottom half and they won't be like a defense that you need to shy away from but that matters for fantasy upside When the team needs to throw the ball 40 times a game when you need that press got to score 34 points a game in order to keep up with the opposing teams because they score on every fucking possession
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: that matters a lot in fantasy and you know the addition of Caleb Downs bringing on Quinn and Williams last year like I do think they'll just be an overall better unit in Dallas this year that doesn't give up 35 points a game.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: So that wraps up the first nine.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: I will say like this is where I felt real good about the first nine.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: In whatever order you want to throw them out in a moment, like as long as I get a top nine pick probably more select top sixish as long as I get in that top-ish half of the draft I feel pretty good once you get down to the 10 spot once you're in the double digits there there's a group of like five or six guys that I think you can make really strong cases for being at the 10 being at the 11 being at the 12 the guy that I put up here
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: at the number 10 spot is James Cook.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: His current ADP is 10, I haven't ranked at 10.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's just gotten better and better each year and they're trusting him with more work each in every year.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: He had 309 carries in 2025, which was up from 207 the year before.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: That is a massive jump.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: And for the first time ever in his career, he had more carries inside the five yard line than Josh Allen did.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: He had 14 to Josh Allen's 13.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: So they're now trusting him in an area where they didn't previously trust him in that led to a lot of fancy points
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: his bottom line, that's not really the case anymore.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing, too, and this was something I kind of hammered away to you guys last year, like rushing touchdowns for a player.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: Many, many, many, many, many times is simply just the results of being in a good offense.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: rushing touchdowns are a product of a good offense, and we saw that be the case again last year with many of the players who just simply put up the highest rushing touchdown totals, whether it's James Cook or Derek Henry, it's like, yes, you're in a very good offense.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to score a lot of
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: And that will be the case again this year.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: They are always very good on offense.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: They will always have a lot of touchdown opportunities for guys like James Cook and James Cook was kind of at the forefront of the insufferable like touchdown regression argument every single offseason.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like of course he's not going to score 18 touchdowns again.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: He scores 14.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: Another great fantasy pick.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo has been listen to this that.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo has been a top six scoring offense in points per game for six straight years and top three in five of those six years.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: Cook is not a flukey touchdown score at this point.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's just a great back in a great offense that also provides a ton of explosive runs where he can actually score from the 50 yard line on top of now getting a bunch of goal line carries.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Do I wish he caught a few more passes?
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do, like he is certainly capable of doing.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's a very good athlete out of the backfield, but they like him that third-down-old Ty Johnson.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: I will say Joe Brady is now the head coach in Buffalo, and he loves James Cook.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: You can see over the last couple of years as he was the OC, they've gotten him more and more and more involved in the offense, and they bring him peak car Michael as they're offensive coordinator.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: Now, P. Carmichael was the O.C.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: in New Orleans from 09-2023.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: That was with Sean Payton, obviously, the entire time.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then he was the senior offensive assistant in Denver in 2024.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: If there is a more pass-friendly scheme for running backs, then Sean Payton's over the last two decades, point me in that direction, please, because I don't think there is.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I do think there's a chance that we see more passcatching script and upside from James Cook based on the coaching staff coming in the scheme that might be implemented a little bit more here.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: So cooks my number 10.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: I had so much trouble with 11, 12, and 13 here.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: And we're only doing 11, 12, for this video.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: 11, I'm going to put Justin Jefferson back inside the first round.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's current 80p is 12.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: I put him at 11.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: obviously the entire offseason conversation is going to be about Kyler Murray.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's likely 90% 95% going to be the starter there in Minnesota over JJ McCarthy.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: I still think there's definitely risk there.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're making a little bit of percentage risk that it is somehow McCarthy wins a job whatever.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the overall conversation needs to be more about Kyler.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: If you followed my videos last year, I was very, very off Kyler.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: People loved Kyler, it was not a fan.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: If I just think the NFL kind of figured it out, I thought he had a lot of trouble just throwing over the middle of the field.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want him invest in Marvin Harrison.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: some because of Kyler, some more because of Drew Petsing, and I don't believe he can run a very creative, successful passoffence there, but Kyler at this stage, I think he's kind of shown us what he is as an NFL passing pocket quarterback.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: Now, KLC is a fucking genius, and I think he can get a lot out of guys that might not be able to get that much out of themselves.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's an elevator of talent, right?
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Kyler is one of the most talented players on the field every
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: as Jefferson just had in previous years, whether it was Kirk Cousins or Sam Darnold, just from a pure arm standpoint, like accuracy, consistency, probably not, but I'd still like to say, just Jefferson is, you know, the best receiver in the league.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I think a lot of people will probably point back to like, local Kyler did with the DeAndre Hopkins.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: His first year in Arizona, I think it was back in 2020, de-op went 160 targets, 115 catches, 1400 yards, six touchdowns.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: But again, like that was almost six fucking years ago,
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: round collar Murray.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't thrown for more than 24 passing touchdowns since 2020.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: And he's never thrown for more than 4,000 yards.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: So you have Jefferson, you've got Addison, you've got Hawkinson, you've got you on Jennings.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: Cutler is just 28 years old and, you know, we've seen time and time again now over the last half decade to decade.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: Many NFL players, career simply aren't linear.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: They're simply not like, okay, they're not doing well.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: So they are
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: likely a bad situation, put him in a good situation, he could play a lot better.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't want to completely write off Kyler.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to completely write off, so I'm going to start a passing offense because of what we've seen from JJ McCarthy last year, from what we've seen from Kyler the last few years.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I am cautiously optimistic.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: Again, with all of these picks, you kind of like way the pros, the cons, things you like, things you don't like, and then you kind of fit them into different slots based on that.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: So he will be 11, and then I've been going back and forth
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: on Sakewon and Ashton Jenty for the 12th spot.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I ultimately decided on Sakewon Barclay here.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the biggest addition to Philly is by subtraction, by a long shot.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: If you were a Philadelphia Eagles fan, getting Kevin Patula out of that situation and not being the offensive coordinator, he might have been the woe.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: He might have been the woe offense coordinator.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's ever set foot on a football field.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: He's no longer there.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: They replaced him with Sean Manion.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: Manion former Green Bay quarterback's coach.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: So again, I like him coming from the La Flore Tree.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: I just like a mix-up from Patulocus.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: He was just so fucking bad at calling plays last year.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: And like I just said, I just don't think careers are very linear.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: Where it was like, all right, say quann was bad.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then he was really good.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's kind of bad again.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to have no choice but to go extremely run heavy in this offense too.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: AJ Brown, I'm sure is getting moved in a couple of weeks.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I just think Sakewon goes back to being the main focus of an offense that at the end of the day, still going to be a good offense.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: You're getting a workhorse in an offense.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's something not to underestimate in fantasy football.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: It might not be as flash.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: He is 2024.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: Sakewon might not be as fun as some of the younger Sakewon years.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: But he has so little competition, this will be a very strong offensive line, this will be in a above average offense, this will be an offense that I think leans on their running back.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm very much assuming, say, one with a more successful system, getting 20 touches the game again will again be viable for a first round pick.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think there is a good chance that Ashud Jenty eventually makes his way into my top 12 throughout the course of the summer, but I think I need to see a little bit of cohesion in Las Vegas first for me to really move them up that spot.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: So that is how the first round of 2026 Fantasy Football Dress will go for people that simply know ball.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: We will be ramping up our video content schedule.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, as of these summer progresses, I'm looking to do one to two videos per week right now.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: As we get into June, maybe that goes up to two to three.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: You guys know that the odd been doing this for a very, very, very, very, very, very long time.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: And while I might have taken the dinosaur season off, redraft is now back in full effect.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I would never leave you with your hands out.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: We are here.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoyed the video, hit the button that looks like this.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: Love y'all.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: Smooches.
