- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: I have there there.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know if you know I'm going to make you guess on this right and because there's one thing about that game on Tuesday night that is did that is what sticks in my crawl more than anything and it might not be the thing you think either there's one thing overarching.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: over that whole game that just pisses me off more than anything but still you're one one you got a game in Tampa that's what you ask we come on home tomorrow night thank god we're not playing today it had been rained out and I'm done with rain delays that doesn't play off so we're done with that so we'll talk plenty of guards as we get ready to go browns lot of news so number one we'll recap that jet's getting uh oh dude we're three and two I'm
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano do their mail bag, which is one of my favorite things they do every week on his PN.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: They ran through, which quarterback is in most in danger of getting benched.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: The Sean Watson was in that article.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I'll explain what they talk about when it comes to the Sean, there's been a shift, there's been a change at least for me.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like with Brownsvians too, when it comes to Watson, coming to that game on Sunday,
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: are you surprised it was make a Fitzpatrick are you surprised well gets all that Jason lock and for a he hosts our Baltimore show here on big play we'll have him on 12 30 is Lamar playing in this game coming up on Sunday what rot luck for the problems too by the way feeling good you let one slip away think get one back on old Tyler Huntley over there running scared of Lamar
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: They go in over the Ravens out of Mar.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: We have beaten Lamar too.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's the thing the Browns have kind of own Lamar.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's career We're leaving that attitude, but Jim Shorty and on that sideline anymore Ryan.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: We are leaving that sour push attitude with Kevin's to fair enough So we're talking is clearing that at it.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: We will get ready for the Ravens coming up We got some news on Shidorah Sanders him hiring an agent He hired an agent.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: So what oh, what does that mean?
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: Trust me, if the Browns are gonna trade Shidorah, they don't need an agent to do it for them.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: We'll discuss that coming up a little bit.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: Gotta talk to Buckeyes!
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: This is for the Big Ten Man.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: This Saturday, in Bloomington, against the Indiana Hoosiers.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: That is Big Ten Supremacy.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a bigger conversation we had, too, about the Big Ten as a whole.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm porting this game's gonna be on Saturday for Ohio State Indiana Cavs underway all right.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: Donovan Mitchell thrown out the first pitch tomorrow night.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Love that.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to the great week.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: Got it all in a Wednesday edition right here on Big Play.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to the show everybody I am at Fontana.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, it's Ryan Tyler, so I bet have you along.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_02]: Live on a Wednesday edition.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: Our poll is gonna be heading out very shortly here on the YouTube chat, jump in there.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: How many games the guard's gonna get?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: Three at home.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot it was two, three, two, by the way.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: So our poll question is up jumping the YouTube comments as we talk some guards some Browns subscribe to the channel where live every day 12 to 130% of our great friends at physicians ambulance pizza 216 today not just one of those delicious.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to order some pizza 216.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really do anything.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's the best and of course the third estimate talk about your roof today.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: How's that doing with all the rain we're getting our friends are making a Tampa Bay dome joke.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Dude.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: You are gonna send me off the radio.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna say that a little bit later, but One one in the LCS.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: Can we just look?
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: Let's take a step back for a second We may back to the LCS Here we are Wow
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a week, like literally the last time that it was also on a Wednesday.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: I know, you know, right, and I heard on Thursdays of Bruce, I had to remind myself, dude, last Wednesday, we were down, oh, I said, I lied.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: I said we were down to we were down, oh, two, last Wednesday when we did this show.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, I'm telling you, I think one of the most beautiful things about sports and that kind of brings it up Matt is how quickly narrative change and how quickly I guess he's changed because in a matter of 24 hours.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let me say this Jose is the reason you are here correct phenomenal and he kind of turned the corner on his playoff legacy.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then he has a game like yesterday, which nobody's gonna remember.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: And well, unless it kind of is the disultimate Decider, but my point being is, gosh, your legacies and teams, the stories change literally day by day.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I think makes what we do so cool.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: It is fun, and we're on the ride.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we're on the ride.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: Right now, of this team, where you're near, you're not the Dodgers talking about Benchink show, A-O-Dye.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: This is all by the way, by the way.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: I, who I'm here for it?
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't have the Dodgers sweep the brewers.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're probably going to go down 3-0 and then win in 7, so it doesn't look like the Dodgers are super team.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's all up here, man.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying it's not, but you're also concentrating the brewers are awesome.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: The brewers are great.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: They're a really good team.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: And man, what I not love a little brewers, Cleveland.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody called the Edmund Fitzgerald.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, see these.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Rest of peace.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's very much so.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: Anniversary is coming up by the way.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: Great, dear.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: It is, well, you know about, there's, I could spend two hours of this show doing just Edmund Fitzgerald lore, but that's in a haunted honor story for another day.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, we're didn't like foot done.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he just, he just, he just recently passed away.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: He did very, very sad.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: But like that series of, yeah, whatever the world series is going to be, everybody's course run against the Dodgers, but in this whole grain scheme of payroll, you, you have the guardians, the raise and the brewers.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: You don't spend a lot of money, some more than others.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but here we are.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's kind of the thing about this guardians team.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: was this expected?
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like, let's just sit in this world that we're at right now at 12.07 here on Wednesday, the 14th, right?
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: Expectations exceeded.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: Now, part of that was, let's go even all the way back.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think many of us thought they were actually going to be able to win the Central.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: Did that?
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: You were down, oh, two, to the white socks.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: You came back and dominated them.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: What was the clip we sent out last Wednesday?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: What does Xquat smoke the rassal?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: See, we're a mission accomplished.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: And now you are one one against the race wearing two games game one zero question you were the better team destroyed them you made some mistakes on Tuesday you lost one like that's the thing and there were some other ones that want to do but I know it runs for self but if you're looking at it all three runs are because of that air
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and the play before when he wasn't covering third, right, game next to her base, game next to her base, and here we are, and we'll talk Jose and his legacy because yeah, he is clearly very, very much trying to run, but just think about where you're at expectations, exceed it.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: Now that does not mean I'm sitting here going like, okay, we lose four one of the rays.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be sitting there and I'm like, oh, this is all great.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I want to go to the world series.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: I want to go win a championship and boy with that happy fun.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: If it was like us and the Dodgers, we somehow won that.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like the team of all I'm not saying that that would overtake the cab's beating the 73 and 9 warriors because you Amazement this Guardian's team if we beat the Dodgers in the world series I think that's bigger that might actually be bigger.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: It might be I mean, I would have to pull a Objective facts, but right off my brain.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is bigger than we can we in a whole debate yesterday about Hosiramair's winning a world series.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: Where does that put him with LeBron in terms of greatest cleave last leads?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Man, we're dreaming, but let's hope we have this conversation.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a reality about two weeks.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a great topic point this week, where Jose, at this point, as somebody who grew up and learned about the lore of Bob Feller, and
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: by air gun, you know, Omar and Corey clover, all these great, there is zero question at this point that Jose Ramirez, he is the greatest, greatest Cleveland baseball player in the franchise's history.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: And he doesn't have an MVP, which is nuts.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: He should at some point, but how many top five finishes is he a you see what he's done in these playoff series at this point multiple statues tear the told me one down point up to for those a at this point like he is unequivocally I think the greatest guardians Indians player in history
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, go back to Napalash away and Luba drone and all that, but I'm just telling you, Jose, is it?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, there was that narrative about his hand, and obviously starting to hit a little bit, some gas on Tuesday, which we're gonna talk about a little bit further.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: But again, like this ride of this team is in essence the Guardians.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we should maybe be accustomed to.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: Is there gonna do it when you least expect them to do it?
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what they've done over and over again.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a completely different era than when we choked away 17 and 18 with, again, that was the height that you were the favorite team.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_02]: There were people, Dr. Guardians are going to finish fourth.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: Fourth in the Aels Central, here they are is one of the four remaining teams in baseball.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's Gards Ball.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: Dan guard as much as that might send us all to the cardiologist.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: That is Guardian's baseball.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_02]: But even how they've gone in the playoffs, they've had often like again two games where you put up nine runs put up seven against the race.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, game one, they looked like a completely different team.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they said, and I think there was something certainly to the fact that you were playing three games in a row with your back against the wall.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: And while a team has a bot or not a bite, but you swept the game.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you and you arrested that whole time.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: The race did not look ready.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: No, they did not look right.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like the guardian.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: That was one of the best approaches at the plate I've seen them have all year as a team collectively.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: So let's get to Tuesday.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: What a god-awful approach you had at the plate.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: That is what bothers me about Tuesday even more than Jose's errors.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: People want to talk about baseball shouldn't be played on turf and I agree in all that kind of stuff.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: Him not covering third.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_02]: You still only gave up three runs.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: I expected more.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: What bothers me about that game on Tuesday?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: Stop swinging at Freddy Paraltz's fast balls up here.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: What are we doing?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: They pressed Joe Adele pressing.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: I was able to say, oh, Zay, they all wore.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, oh geez.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, play out rock tobers over, brother.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: But like, that's what was just driving me insane, watching that game was we just kept, you should have had 10 walks in that game.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Why they couldn't lay off the high heat?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: And again, it's easier for me sitting at home.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: But like in the dugout, for somebody, hey guys, you know,
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: Lay off lay off the top right I could I would understand from a kind of what I just said to piggyback off it You're backspin against the wall for three straight games and then you get to this place and you're like and then you have a game one where you outburst like you score seven runs That momentum probably came in like we got to do the skin step on their foot right up step on their throat right away Because remember the game one they we should have got the lead first, but they're now getting it correct Well, you're right.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: You need somebody to kind of calm them down and remember it's a long series
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: And let's not forget Parker Messick had to work his ass off because he had multiple double plays.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_02]: I know the one that low came off.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: He should have had three double plays turned and he didn't pitch into the sixth inning if I'm not mistaken.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: But that's not good.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: They had traffic.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, the air,
- 12:17[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of just open but again open the floodgate of they still only scored three runs It was all off that air, but I'm just saying if our approach at the plate was a little bit better I think we could overcome that or should have been able to overcome that right?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're in a point right now.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: How could you not feel comfortable?
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna say you're gonna automatically predict the garden's finish the thing often win it But I think we have the evidence that we can feel pretty good about the Guardian's taking the series the fact that you already Right on the road the fact that you got Gab
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: you got gambling is going on.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: The fact you saw this offense is capable of tagging a guy uh... rest of the news and who was better than Freddie Pralto court.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: So we kind of got everything going on inside and it's exciting to get back home.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm happy that we're one one.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: I am, but it's also we uh...
- 13:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to sound like a bitter hater, but I don't think the race won that game.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: The Guardians lost.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: The Guardians lost that game on Tuesday.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: The race did not win that.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: The Guardians handed to them, not just on the Jose Eres, but again, how I think we approached at the plate.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody was up there trying to hit a four run, you know, single, so many tweet me.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: That was a great thing.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody's up there trying to just mash a ball against a home run derby to get an extra run if you hit it so far.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: They're just, I hated our approach at the plate.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe we got a little too cocky because you've put up so many runs for so many games.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: And to do that, you don't put up nine or seven runs without almost everybody being involved.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, some guys can go off for three hits and three RBIs and all that.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: But the majority is you have guys on base and you're moving.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: I saw this crazy stat from game one.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: Did you all a guardians were the first team in playoff history?
- 13:53[SPEAKER_02]: to be held scoreless for the first, I think it was six innings to then score in the 7th 8th and 9th innings.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, I'm sorry.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: Better yet.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: We are the first human history that were held scoreless through five innings and then score in the 6th 7th 8th and 9th innings.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: No one had ever done that before.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: But you felt the momentum shift and you got guys they always talk about that with baseball right keep the train going hand it off to the next guy Just get on base turn it over again on base turn it over But I felt like I'm Tuesday too many guys were going up there trying to hit a tank job to get us back into the game or even when he was zero Because you felt it you're like dude they're getting runners on and they're
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: getting into double plays or like the the tight wire act there by the parker mask was really incredible.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: But you just felt that momentum was on the race side.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: Guardians didn't really capture because I hated our approach at the plate.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: I could not that was I'm just you know one run.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's easy to say them.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of the worst offensive approaches that I've seen from us in quite some time.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: You want to look at it and say, okay, maybe that's an anomaly we can flush that, we're back home, try to get some of that confidence back.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: What lost us that game more than the air was 100% how we were hitting at the plate.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: That was it.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: It all goes back to your approach, too, because there's probably a reason that they didn't score the first five and then score six, 79, why?
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: Because then they have to go to their bullpen.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: Game one, Shane McClain hand was awesome, but you were patient at the plate and making him throw pitches.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't do that to Freddie Pearl.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the first texts I sent in my group chat was that first inning.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was six pitches that Freddie Pearl to had.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: I said, this is not going to be a game you're going to win.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: If he's throwing less than ten pitches, then yeah.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: And again, where we're at going tomorrow, you've got the best pitcher in this series and Gavin Williams on your side.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: Griffin Jax is good.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: But I hate to say it.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_02]: This is the, this is the Decider game here.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: Your one one, your back home disc game is gonna tell you how this series goes, right?
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's a must win for the Guardians.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's 100% and you want it a what?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: I want them thinking that way.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_02]: You're in the playoffs, you're in the ALCS, you're trying to go to the world series.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: You damn well, better look at Thursday and go this is a must-win game for us.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: With Gavin Williams on the hill, you have no excuse, but to win that game.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: 100%.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what I hope the Guardians are going to do.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: I really hope we sweep our homes games here, so I don't have to go back to Tropicana.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: Because if I hear, if I hear Brian Anderson, who's the announcer for TBS, talk about the rings on that roof, one more GDM fing time, I'm gonna drive down to Tampa and slash the tires on his car.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'll find it, I don't care.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: shut the hell up about the rings in the ceiling.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: I know what the back end is.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: These guys, all these broadcasters, I've been in these meetings, I've gone through, they go through production meetings, Ryan.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: And that is where producers sit down and they come up with their angles and they discuss how Junior Camino came from Cleveland.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: They don't bring up that richy plosios, by the way.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: former guardian who's really turned his career down there as well.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: They come up with all these things to talk about in the game.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know what producer it was that said, hey, Brian, we should really talk about how it drop a canna if the ball hits here.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's an out and if it hits here, it's a home run and also is every single pop-up.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's talking about the rings on the roof, stop it.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: We got it, man.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's driving me insane.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: I can't listen.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: I, and I miss it on the ballpark app or like, you know, I would pay to watch the Guardians on the ballpark app.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I love the TV crew, but you can, you could just flip over and listen to Hammie.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: And for the most part of the majority of the season, it was synced up pretty well, Hammie and Rosie.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: God, I wish I had that for this.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: I guess old school, like, who could my, I have a radio on my garage, I go get it and sit down there and try to sync it up.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I, oh my god, you're watching my crazy.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's not bringing it up every single time a ball even launches up off the bat.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, I'd be lying if I said I was locked into the audio.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: So you could be, maybe I just need to put on you.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: My opinion better than deep costs.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: I swear, it's driving me nuts, Brian Anderson.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's Brian Anderson or Tony Romo.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Who's worse?
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: Romo stick just kind of got old.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: that he got full of himself a pre calling out the plays and then did nothing to move on from that and then he got moved on from how that goes and then say I brought in Anderson's a good broadcaster but it just just stopped about the rings in the roof that's all I asked so the former giant's picture no there's a broadcaster and then a former player because there's I think Brian Anderson is like the color guide for the
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no, he's the color commentator for the raise on their local broadcast, but it's not that Brian Anderson is Brian Anderson the commentator.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's the TNT, I didn't know this, he's the, he's the brewers play by play guy.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: And then he does TBS games too.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: Again, I like Brian Anderson, I think he's a good broadcast, so just shut up about the roof please, just for the love of God for all of us, I can't take it anymore, I'm done with the roof.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: So that's just my little piece then.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: I said I'm post game with you in Jack on Sunday.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: I just think that team's not prepared to play.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to look at Todd Monk in and give him the whole weekend off.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I people go, everybody gives the, when you play on Thursday the weekend off.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about Saturday and Sunday.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody gets that off.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin Stephanski, most other coaches.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: You come in Friday, you do a little film work.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you get out by one o'clock.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: You have them back in on Monday.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: If they can't enjoy their weekend from one o'clock Friday all the way through Sunday and be back work on Monday at seven o'clock, what the hell are we doing?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: You are ill prepared to play for that game.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: And let's call for what is Brown started smelling themselves.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: Bad, you thought they were just going to go out and roll out.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: Not you, but the Brown stopped there.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to go out there and just beat up on a jet steam without pre-sall.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, the rain, we're going to really use that in this excuse of this game.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, come on now.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: You played like rear end and you got beat.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: Now that being said, I'm not blowing this thing up.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: has to Sean Watson at this point.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: Now we've afforded himself a bad game.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: The Jags game does first game of the year like it is what it is.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: He had three games of three straight game winning drives at the end, touchdown pass and all that kind of stuff.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: He laid a stinker on Sunday.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: Now we'll see the biggest reason you lost?
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: No, that was the offensive line because good God were they terrible.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: But I set it out my good band the ugly and I put Watson in the bad and of course because now I don't know if the shit or people have shifted or if he's just created his own little You know community over there of people You're an idiot.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're watching gay.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: We don't either you put the show Watson in the bad.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah cuz he was bad
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: Drop and snaps, cleaf TA had a great analytic approach.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he had the most quarterback created sack.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's a stat when it's not on the offensive lines, not on the receiver, the quarterback created sack.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody had more on Sunday than to Sean Watson.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: He was sitting there in the pocket.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: You could not run the football.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: Now, John Kinz is heard.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now, sweatshins are his heart.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Are we going to start having an awkward conversation about Quintion Juddkins?
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: Cause I'm about ready to start that one.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: I will say it comes back to the offensive line.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: You played like, again, the old line lost you that game.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: They did.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: Watson is on the periphery of that.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_02]: Juddkins is on the periphery of that.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: The Denzel Boston touchdown was great to see.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_02]: You had nothing going in that game.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: Defensively, yeah, you held them to what?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: I remember the score was.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Would you hold them?
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: 19, I think.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, 17, 12, 17, 12.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Weird score.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: really where it's going.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: Like defensively at times, I thought you were doing enough, couldn't stop Garrett will say.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the course was awesome.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, okay, like big picture mat.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not use excuses as a sport.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say, but let's kind of.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: point out, factors that led to a loss.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think, like a semantics, not playing.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sure, go.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, big piece, man, losing case he could see on that early.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: You really don't have, and Maxwell made a group, but you don't really have anybody with his skill set to replace him.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: And especially when we're sitting here and talking about the worries of Quinn-Shawn Judkins,
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: and it being raining.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: Imagine losing a guy that is such an extension of that run gaming case you can see on.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: So your offense already pretty set back there.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Penaldies, there's no excuses for it.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: You hope you made the right signings given that you gave him extensions.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: We hope.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was raining.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Sox drops.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: Can we put that on to Sean?
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: Weird game.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: Got to be better.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: we're still very in the right direction.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: You got suckered in.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: You got suckered in, you were playing a team you thought you would have beat and you didn't.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, the rain was the factor, the drops were a factor.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: You had to start throwing ties a bond, which I don't know if that's ever a really good offensive game plan is really have to run through him.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, your coach and your coaching was not great.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: And the nicest match, my issue is the prep.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it just very was clear.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: The Browns thought that they were just gonna beat the jets
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then again, that's the issue.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: And you want to know what you got trapped the Browns got trapped by the jets.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what happened on Sunday.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: Am I going to freak out about it with Todd Munkin?
- 23:47[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, he's learning to and I hope that he learned a really valuable piece of information on this is don't give you guys that extra time off.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: I get that he wanted to feel good story in that locker room, and he's still trying to win over that locker room in some of those players, and I get in the spur of the moment the Ra Ra, I am really for right or wrong, I could be completely missing this.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: I watched the Cleveland Browns lay an egg against an inferior team.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: That is prep, that is prep.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sorry, they're even just four games at that point.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: Now five, into the season, I now have expectations for this Cleveland Brown steam.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not gonna apologize for that.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm also not gonna sit here and sound some alarm and say bench to Sean Watson.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's not where we're at.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: Is to Sean Watson afforded a bad game?
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: The answer to that question is yes.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: And he turned in a bad game.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: now he turns a bad game in this weekend and he does it again after that then maybe we're singing a different tune and they got to have a tough opponent against the Ravens team which we'll talk to Jason locking for in just five minutes about the Sean Watson was afforded a bad game it happens right
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: They're not benching him.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, when you go to Jason or I'm sorry, Jeremy Fowler and Don Gratziano did their male bag this week, and they said which quarterback is in most danger of getting benched.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: They talk cam ward.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: They talk Malik Willis, Jacobi a per set.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God, Benching cam or I Robert Salas, I'm going to give him every chance, but you know, here's where we live in.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: Fowler says in Cleveland, Watson's runways longer than it was six weeks ago.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: The Browns are a few plays away from being formed one.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: Watson did have some bright moments, particularly with mobility, and as far as a malign as his tenure has been in Cleveland, some NFL teams believe it's bad business to play a pay guy $46 million to not play.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_02]: So the sense is Watson will get more time to prove himself, Gratziano.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: Browse a three and two and owe to themselves and their fans to play the quarterback that they believe is in the best chance to win right now.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_02]: They believe that as Watson, which is why also expect to keep the job until he gets hurt, starts to play poorly or Cleveland tumble's out of contention.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, that is all 100% factual.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: That is now, think, hey, man, things have changed.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's still line from the great movie of the Big Lebowski.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: New information has come to light, man.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: Do things that have happened.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: To Sean Watson is your best option to play.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: He laid a stinker on Sunday, the whole team laid a stinker on Sunday.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, I have expectations for this team now.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to apologize for that.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I expected them to win.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: There's your game that you lost.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: You should have won.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: Usually there's a game you're going to win.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're supposed to lose.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that's Sunday against the Ravens.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love that to be the case, but we'll find out.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think the earliest we see should format is November 8th, has it been to be generous since it's because you're talking about playing the Titans next week.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Has it ensure Watson struggles, you're going to tell the Sean Watson to bounce back against a winless team and beat them.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then you're talking about on the road against the Steelers, has it going to start should or they're probably not so point being, yes, the Sean Watson absolutely afforded another bad game because you have a winning record, I don't get lost.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like you have a winning record, you're three and two, this season,
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: Could have been a disaster to start out and honest.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we have bad cards, but it's been the opposite breaking news guardians raised one o'clock tomorrow now instead of six because of the rain.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: Guardians one o'clock tomorrow.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_02]: One o'clock tomorrow.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they're in our show.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be on it.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll be on.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be on.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be on.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: We'll take it.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: There were a lot of people who have to sell them because they can make this clock game tomorrow.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's second of your mark and be hot tomorrow.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: one o'clock tomorrow instead of six.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_02]: They just moved it up five minutes ago.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: Guardians raised one o'clock tomorrow instead of six.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how this is going to feel about that.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we can't escape.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: We can't escape.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's in the play.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure we can't.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: What the weather.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: Again, that just came down.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: Guardians to one o'clock tomorrow instead of.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: Are you not starting entertaining think maybe he doesn't play it all this year?
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: I am yeah No, I'm not trying to be angry and we're gonna talk shit or later because we all saw the agent thing like
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: I just think with Watson's play, it is, it is really started to etch into my mind that Chador might not get a chance to play this year.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: Can I see it?
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, can I see, of course that's reality.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, again, we are assuming because we don't know for sure how this front office feels about Chador, they think there's any future with him being their quarterback.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And if we're talking about evaluating the future, people aren't going to like this, but I've brought it up.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: There is an absolutely a world that they signed to Sean Watson to a one year deal.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: If he wants to be here next year, if he plays well, and he's your veteran for a rookie that they're going to heavily invest in.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: There's a world where she doesn't take the fuel.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and but again, that's like the most positive way of being like, what Watson played well, the browser in contention.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's the positive out of it.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_02]: And if that's how that goes, welcome to the game, right?
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: What is his agent have to say about that now that he has one will get to that coming up.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I'm excited to this Jason lock and four is going to join us coming up.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he of course covers the Ravens.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's part of our big play family here.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_02]: He hosts our big play ball.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's more show is Lamar playing in this game coming up.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: We will find out, but pizza 216.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now, is, is Avon open or it's close to opening?
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: We're getting, we're getting there.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: How about this for tomorrow?
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: Want to clock game now?
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: You're getting ready to go over there.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know what pizza 216 right there on you, clear?

- 29:31[SPEAKER_02]: You don't take in the wrap-in?
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, it's to be ferment.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I have been in the suburbs for a long time.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: You and I gotta change that.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: Get your wrap-in, stop.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_02]: You go to Tower City.

- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: Sioux.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's not that far.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know, walk on down 9th to everybody else.

- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're gonna say don't say that to me and then pull out olive Pineapple's disgusting.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: Go to break olives and mushroom Little little pepperoni.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Go to break.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what Jason lock in four things about that.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: He joins us next.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: We're here in big play
- 30:45[SPEAKER_02]: All right, the Browns Ravens rivalry, the stories write themselves now kind of more on our end.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's a little rare that these games actually have meaning to them and potentially the lead and they have seen North, but that is what is on the Docket Force Sunday as we get ready to go.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: We bring in Jason Locke and for it hosts the daily flock one of our many shows here on Big Play covering all Baltimore sports, Jason Ryan tried to give me a riled up to ask you about the Orioles.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to do that to you right out of the gate here.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll focus on the football side of things on a Baltimore right at
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'd love to see him trade for Stephen Quahn.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to get into it, we could.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was like, I was on that Quahn out of here, train, and all he's done is proven me wrong, right?
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: He might end up getting extension.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: I had Dan's in Borske, he went from Fangras on my show.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, dude, he's a big O's fan.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, he's like, I think they're extending them.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're going to head well and see floor salary cap, you know, man, I mean, money to spend it, well, I don't figure that all out another time.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: We focused on the football side of things.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_02]: First, biggest question for us here in Cleveland, Jason, best guest.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to see Lamar Jackson suit up for the Ravens on Sunday.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not sold.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: That he will for multitude of reasons.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: He tends to when something is wrong with him.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you look at his history.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's rare he's back in a week.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's really rare he's back in a week.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: After he leaves a game and then doesn't come back in and then requires an MRI.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: And especially this early in the season, like there's a history of how they handled this that would point in that direction.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then right, so they bring in the head of the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team to like take over as their team physio and sports science guy like they want to re rethink some return to play protocols and all that stuff with our ball out of building for the first time in 20 years and like say.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: flowers sits early in the year when maybe it had to, right?
- 32:29[SPEAKER_00]: And when they say they flowers is on a pitch count, they stick to it.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like they sit Ronny Stanley for a week.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like Tray Hendrickson could he still play with the club man?
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Tray, go get a pin in your finger if it's two or three weeks.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: No problem, right?
- 32:42[SPEAKER_00]: And like, snoop partly is here for a reason.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: And the offense is humming.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then you've got a stretch coming up where you've got, you've got an outscored bill burrow, you've got an outscored Trevor Lawrence, you've got an outscored Josh Allen, right?
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's coming up, starting week seven.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: The buys not for a long time.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: And he's not going to practice fully this week, like they didn't let him talk to the media this morning.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: Which tells me he's not practicing fully on Wednesday.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now they trade for Cam Durgens, right?
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Who's in the concussion protocol?
- 33:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's the new center.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: He can't just come right in and practice full.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's got to be slowly ramped up.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: So you're going to have Lamar who may be practices limited today, may be practice limited tomorrow.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: How many reps does he even get with Cam Durgens?
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: And then we're going to throw all this out there.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like I.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I know what chef you're saying and like is it is it possible?
- 33:31[SPEAKER_00]: Of course it's possible.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was possibly going to play last week.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: They ruled them out on Friday.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: So let's just say I'm not convinced.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think that game against the Falcons has anything any impact on this why I'm not saying there's a bonus win because they came back and wanted obviously we know Snoop humbly from this time here in Cleveland he's been in Baltimore a long time you see very capable backup.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think that win at all impacts kind of how the Ravens are looking up this Browns game and thinking hey we really can be called or can beat the Browns with this game.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's so much how they look at the Browns game, it's that they got a window of I mean they played like 65, 70 snaps on offense right they game went over time and he got better as the game went along and the run game looked the best it's looked in a while even without Lamar back there fainting a whole lot of run action and options like I think it was more that it's like
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so that's a really like Atlanta coming to that game, so whenever you want about who they played, they're allowing 2.7 yards per carry, they're getting pressure 47.3% of the time, most in the NFL, and they're doing it without blitzing, and we got a makeshift off the fits of line, and we got Snoop, and we got one guy catching the ball, right?
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: Zay Flowers.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think it's more than, hey, that looked pretty good, and like what could be the benefit to be of getting Lamar off his feet for two straight weeks?
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: And wouldn't it be ideal, especially with,
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: all of a uncertainty up front and now they're going to, you know, they're really dying to play cam jargons because they traded, you know, having an earth form, but like the Vega or any kids looked great, like I have great price, you know.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: But look, under the circumstances, great.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: And they're mixing that up again.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just don't know that the ultimate calculus is going to make sense.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now, look, if he practices full on Thursday, you're going to have your answer.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's playing, but I'm not sure it's going to play at that way.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: Jason, when you think about this Raven's team, you mentioned it with Harbaugh, I think inevitably outsiders are all, they got to take a step back, right?
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's been there for so long, Jesse Mincer, first time head coach, but I don't think they've missed a beat, just watching them from the outside.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: What has been that response been to Jesse Mincer who's got his team off to a 4-1 start?
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, there's, there's been some carryover, like there's been some sort of toxic carball traits that have blight into the season, I mean, they blown to 11 quite leads.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they overcame one of them because the kid loop at a 65 yard fuel goal in Brazil or whatever, but like it's a bad fourth quarter defense, it's a bad second half defense.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: The secondary, which is supposed to be their strength.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's not good right now.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like opposing quarterbacks have a 102 pass rating throwing on their corners.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: They've only have four pass breakups among the corners all year.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: Free safeties and corners for the Ravens have allowed 41 passing first downs already, a pass rating of 113 6 touchdowns, no picks,
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: So like there's some issues back there and they're playing second most dime in the league.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_00]: So they got 60 B's on the field all the time.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure that's going to ultimately prove to be their full identity.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: So like there's, you know, like there's been some, some, some ish.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Atlanta, the way they want Atlanta, the way they decided to take the ball in over time and exert a seven minute driving over time with their backup quarterback and with a makeshift offensive line.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think they might have shed their skin there a little bit.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: The crazy thing about them is,
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: The 30-year-old offensive coordinator who'd never done it before we'd never call the play, right?
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, midgers to defensive genius, and all the resources are in the defense.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_00]: So the defense is supposed to carry them the first five or six weeks as the offense figures it out.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: And the offense has looked brand new, like fall starts, you know, they were leading the league and offense of penalties going in the last week and at least six penalties in each of their first four games.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: They curb some of that last week.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: But despite all that, the offense has been the star.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_00]: And Lamar has been at an absolute MVP level.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: And Zay Flowers looks like a top five receiver in this league in this offense.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: So how they've gotten there has been a little sort of circuitous and different, but they're a good team.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know, when Lamar plays for them,
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: They're winning 10, 11, 12, 13 games a year and they get in the dance and then they tend to undermine themselves when they get in the dance and we'll have to see about this coaching staff get them over the top.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's not a history in this league of rookie head coaches coming from outside the organization winning a super like it hasn't happened in this league.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure it's happening this year, but certainly though I don't be in the dance and they'll have a chance.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: When you think about the rest of that offense, Jason Locke and for joining us here, of course, you can check them out the daily flock part of our big play family here on YouTube, anywhere you get your podcast, well, follow Jason on Twitter, when you think about the rest of that offense, like I will be one Jason, when they signs a flowers that extension, I was like, really, you know, I just didn't know and like Mark Andrews, obviously isn't the same.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: Derek Henry is the same, and I don't know if he's ever going to stop.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: But like I would, like say flowers as,
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: Showed to me like he can be and he's making or worth every dollar that he's been paid.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_02]: Is there any worry about them not having another receiving an option behind say?
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's I wrote a piece today.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's up on Ravens on SI.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like they said they need a secondary weapon to emerge in this.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: A secondary downfield weapon.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like Rashad Bateman is a decoy.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_00]: Rashad Bateman blocks.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: Rashad Bateman and Lamar never see the play the same way.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: They're never a sympathico.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: Devontez Walker has great straight line speed.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: He gets behind defenses, but I mean, he just, he can't stay healthy.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't really run the full route tree and like the light bulb is never fully come on.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: And Mark Andrews is cooked, like that's over.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this kid, they took in the fifth round on SMU, Matthew, Hibner, I believe, will start cutting into Mark Andrews' time share.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: He really should, and he's got straight line speed, and he's got yard after the catchability, and he can leave his feet in high point of ball if he has to.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: And he's been a better blocker than they could have felt.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: So like he's got potential.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I'd be surprised that they don't activate their third round pick, Jacobi Lane off of IR for this game.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like they've already released Trist Moore, which tells me they think Lane will be back.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's six four.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's sinewy.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's like a powerful.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_02]: I love him coming out of draft chase.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I like the proud take a look at it.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: I know we took a lot or see if I love Jacobi.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: It was not like that.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: little little more loves big targets like he's going to replace Isaiah likely in this offense and everything goes well and you got the little guys in the slot on one side you got the potential jacobie lane on the other side like they get into somewhat I would call like big 11 personnel with with with with the big receiver there like I think there's potential for them to find that other twitchy option but it's they in prey right now like you look
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like that tells you all, oh, you need to know about what's going on in this offense outside of Zayflop.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Zayflop, like, Zayflop, like, Zayflop, like, Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayflop, like Zayfl
- 40:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of like again the Baltimore how've always viewed it they just look at Lamar they got him Derek Henry which I get but they're also just a lot of times like Oh, hey tomorrow take care of it like oh, hey tomorrow do it and it's just it's never really been in which is kind of crazy because it's like I do want to ask you about tray Hendricks, and if he's gonna be able to play this weekend like okay you go get him this off See you mentioned the cam drug and straight like they go trade for almost every other position out there.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: They just never seem to actually
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: outside of DeAndre Hopkins was washed when they brought him in like there's just nobody that they seem to really try to get with Lamar.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: What's always washed out, you know, it was oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm glad they didn't do that.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: And they need the lean into what they have here more.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like what I wanted to do was sign Darren Waller who's been a red zone beast for a price young.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm like he's way better than Andrews.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_00]: He makes 2 million a year, 1.5 Andrews.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: They gave a ridiculous contract extension to 13 a year.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he would be a guy who could really help them early.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: And like, could they go out and try something else at receiver?
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like they could.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: I know they at least sniffed around in the Marvin Harris and thing a little bit.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: They certainly could.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think they would try to lean into a younger type though than like these 33 to 35 year olds that they've been overpaying for, you know, I don't know, six seven eight years.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_02]: to the defense it's a propel roster by name when you look around like you know you just see all these names What do you think isn't really coming together right now?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: You mentioned the fourth court you mentioned late some blown leads like yeah second there's a secondary supposed to strike me everybody back there is either making big money and or was a first run pit and a lot of them are doing both and the guys who
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the ones who were supposed to take to Jesse Mentors dime heavy zone constant, you know, he's scheming it up for these guys to make plays on the ball and nobody's making plays on the ball.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: And they've mostly faced bad quarterbacks.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they've picked press got sure.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: But like Daniel Jones on half in Achilles, Tyler shook when you knew he's throwing the ball to a lava because they're down early and that
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: work perfectly, you know, uh, back little up in the second half, Dallas at 277 yards in the second half.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, uh, I mean, Carnel Tate, go watch his film against the Ravens, watches film against anybody else.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's two different things.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like go watch cam ward against the Ravens, watch cam ward against anybody else.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's two different things.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and Panics converts 36, 3010, 3010, 3010, 3010, 3010, 3010, 3011, 3015.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like so that, you know, they're going to have to clean that up or they're going to need Trey Hendrickson in the past rush to take it up to another level, which I think he can.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: It might be guys been great in his three games back.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that's probably going to end up being that if it's a Super Bowl caliber defense, it might be, and I'm not sure it is, but if it is, I think it's because what they're able to do up front, and they don't have to, you know, they stop playing all this time, and they figure out their four or five best defensive backs and they keep them on the field.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, there's, there's, there's work to be done on that side of the ball, you know, like roll quant Smith making $20 million with a $33 million cap hit that's ridiculous, but that's where it is, you know, Marlon Humphrey 10th Highest paid corner in the league highest cap hit of any of any corner just like roll quant's got the highest cap hit of any inside linebacker like.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to go as those guys go.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think those guys are going to be playing all that well.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: Come January.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're not playing great now.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: And that might be what keeps them from getting to where they ultimately want to go.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: Final thing, Jason Locke, for always great stuff.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: The daily flat check it out on YouTube.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: Baltimore's in first place of the division.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: Is it their division to lose at this point?
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think the, like, the Bengals give me a lot of calls for a lot of things, but the defense is like, it's turned.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like a decent scoring defense.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: And they always start slowly and they, these two teams play each other in two weeks.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: And then the Bengals get them at the end of the season in Cincinnati and prime time on a short week.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not, you know, while again, the Bengals give me pause.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: I like what they've done overall defensively to their roster.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: And Joe Burrow gets better as the season goes along.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I think Cincinnati still has a chance.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: And look, I think the Browns.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: These people in the league, I talk to GMs, former GMs, guys, personal executives on teams that have faced the Browns.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like,
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns are gonna be good enough to beat the bad teams in this league and compete with that middle class and maybe win a couple more than you think they would like as long as this quarterback doesn't turn into a total pumpkin any and he might, but I think the Browns have a chance to have an interesting season.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: Jason, I got one question for you, and I'm going to go big picture.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: You guys structured Lamar's contract earlier this year.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: We know that all too well here in Cleveland with Deshawn Watson.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_01]: Short-term relief, we don't know how the long-term is going to work out.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: What's the latest year hearing about Lamar, contract?
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know he wants to wait till the end of the season.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: Are you confident Lamar is a Raven for the foreseeable future?
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'll walk him out the door.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: Not if he wants to find me too.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, look, you let it get to this point.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be whatever he wants.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_00]: And they're going to have a small window after the year to get this done because the idea of carrying him into the first day of the league year, count 85 million against the cap.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you might could do it for a minute or two, but like, if you can't get him signed by then, you better trade him.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be up to him.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: And what else he thinks is out there,
- 46:13[SPEAKER_00]: like normal, like it's not seamless and like, you know, my homes get to deal every 18 months.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen gets to deal every eight.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like this has been, you know, he came out publicly demanding a trade.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's part of a collusion case.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's on a non-exclusive franchise tag.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: They let him go into the market knowing.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: uh... we got a billionaire boys called agreement no one's going to even have a lunch with him right like like tom Brady illegally tampering steven ross on a yacht off the coast of the Atlantic right but like nobody wants to meet Lamar for a drink uh... when like it's completely fair game to do so like the owner came out you know one point time when Watson got his deal and said Lamar and all of it Lamar and thinks he's worth uh... my money yet until he wins me a super ball like so
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they should, but it also should have been done five seconds after Josh Allen got his deal two marches ago.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: Philly, and it's just, everybody's screen on the market.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: He wants to be in Philly, though.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: There's the thing about the trade.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yes, Philly is loaded for bear.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: Philly's not sold on her.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you guys were talking about Watson coming back.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_00]: You won't have to do it with him.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: You could go get hurt.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: You could go get Daniel Jones.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if you're looking for a one-year stop gap, you could do it without all the baggage of that guy.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: And probably, it was not that different price point.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: But like,
- 47:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm blanking out what the heck are we saying?
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: There's not a little mark in the mark.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: I always think Jason, I don't know why, but I just feeling my head and maybe this doesn't make sense.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Phil, you guys just feel it.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's Miami.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think, yeah, I think it's in my sense too.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's got it from, like, it was just, like, why does Steven Rawls have spent a lot of money on bad football players?
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like, how many more games are the softest jerseys he's going to sign five minutes from Lamar's mom's house?
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: What about Houston, Jason?
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to re-op with strides playing pretty well.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think they're going to dance with the one that brought them in the end.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I think stride well in real time.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, and GMs are like, that's a lot of money to leave on the table.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like, but Lamar's got the no trade.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's got the base of you cannot restructure the deal.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: So he's an essence of free agent.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a no trade and he's got a no tag.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: And so he can dictate wherever he ends up.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see, I think Miami is one of, and the jet's like, I don't know what he want to be in New York either.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'd take New York over Philly.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's another one where, who knows?
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like Mike Tomlin ends up there as the shop like that.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: And it all kind of like trickles back to even us here in Cleveland too, where we're sitting there like say it is the jets now they're three one is they don't need to go get a quarterback rounds do I in my opinion these chasing like they have to go draft quarterback next year like you know whatever with Watson has been a great story, but we're done here he doesn't want to be here anymore like we're moving on.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_02]: So like yeah all this down you know a trickle effect of where this could mean for other team like could you imagine Baltimore all of a sudden being in a quarterback market too and needing to find somebody and just all the things that could happen here with the Browns getting it figured out I great stuff we really appreciate it daily flock youtube part of us here on big play enjoy the game on Sunday and we got one more to go regular and the rest of the season will talk to you then all right only my guy flocky out here man
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: You guys you guys got this great operation.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm listening all this cool bumper music between the commercials And you get like I get got all these graphics and Ryan.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's just me talking and pat that's it We lean operation here in my basement bottom our folks God speed yeah, I can't wait to get to the big leagues like you guys Move to a clear comment in where it's a beautiful time of the year right now.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's it's 52 and rating right now But other than that it's a great time, you know 85 here six months
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: with crab cakes, which are always just so delicious.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: I used to grate Jason Locken for, we appreciate it.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_02]: Daily, flock, or follow my Twitter, and it's from his basement, even with just Pat, just Pat, just clip that, please.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_02]: Center, Pat, but I raised the best.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_02]: Pat is the best, too.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_02]: But Jason is the best, intriguing stuff, man.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_02]: That's, I mean, so number one, just reading into what Jason had to said, go and take to Sean Watson over passing yards for our parlay there on Sunday, um, but you want to know what my mind started going to when he talked about the struggles of Marlon Humphrey and the defensive act, boy, you need Casey concept, she on back for this game.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_02]: reports are he might practice today limited coming off that concussion let's call for it is knocked out cold but do their secondary is that bad you're gonna need case he can set beyond for this game you're gonna need a big bounce back from heral fainant to by the way m i a and that game on Sunday bad game for the bronze but
- 50:45[SPEAKER_02]: you know, I think like the ravens like, you know, and I I appreciate it because Jason kind of gives you that to use a bad bird parola or, you know, the comparison here.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a duck.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it seems like even these all call them, but he's like, now there's some issues underneath here.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: You got to kind of get that figured out and I'm with him with what he's saying.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'd sit Lamar if he's not 100% healthy.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you need him to be honest with him.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Huntley plays well.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: We saw it there.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: Although, you know, it's like, we've stifled there.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: It can't Henry, too.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: Something about the Ravens man.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: We just, I gosh, it has Jason about that.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: And like, there's something about the Browns.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it was Jim Schwartz.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, Miles Garrett helps.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: But like, we would stick it to them.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: Even in some years where they were jogger nuts.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: And we'd stop there, it can rain.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: We'd stop Lamar Jackson, whether there's food poisoning or not.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what it was, but set that aside.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we used to have their number.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: You go back to the game we still do.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: When we won at home, James was starting for us.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was the game, unfortunately, weird.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: The end of Jocs career.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, Derek Henry did, but they bought it.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: They bottled them up, man.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: Bottled Derek up.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: How much of that can carry over?
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: We'll find out on Sunday.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, the Ravens, even at 4 and 1, you know, to Jason's point, they're, they're, and again, the injuries.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: If, if Hendrickson's not going to play, if Jurgen still is going to play, Lamar, what would you do?
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: Just you know we don't know the injury status of we don't know how bad it is I would you play him It's a division game on the back guys you're right you're right you're right you're right
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: Look, unless he's stepping up, but I don't know.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know, but we'll see.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, you're back at home.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: We've had good success over at that stadium against the Ravens.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have to see, but not all is all that well, you know, with the Baltimore Ravens, which I think is an important thing.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: All right, a couple more things we got to get to.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk about this, it's basically the story of the day.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it's the store's standards is hired a agent.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: And people are trying to connect dots to say that this is his way for him to facilitate his way out.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: Charles Robinson, longtime Yahoo, former Yahoo, who's very locked in.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: He had an interesting comparison about this situation with sure Sanders getting his agent.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_02]: We will get to all that coming up, but Jason and our show brought you by the third estimate.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: How is your roof doing?
- 52:58[SPEAKER_02]: A little rain day, you're feeling it?
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait to want to add on my own roof.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, it's really sad.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, so here's the thing.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_02]: you might find this one day.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: When you go to your insurance paperwork, like your home insurance, you know, what's one of the few things that they list on there?
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: When your roof is replaced?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's how important it is.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: They don't write down when you're siding was done.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: They don't write down when new windows were put in.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's about when your roof is put on.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Because I was also, there's two things on a right-air house, your roof and your foundation, the top and the bottom.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: There are two things that can destroy your house.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the third estimate, they take care of one of them for you.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_02]: Again, like this, and the only, the smallest little hole that you might not even know is there.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: You might not even see it, right?
- 53:39[SPEAKER_02]: Bad windstorm.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_02]: If you have overhanging trees, not even like, oh, the branches aren't falling on the roof.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but there's a bunch of animals that are running up there.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_02]: They're dropping, like, if you have overhanging trees, that will wreck your roof quicker than pretty much anything.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: Or again, you had the bad storm stuff did fall on your roof.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: You see, even just like, you go home and you see that little shingle, like turned up.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_02]: that could be water getting in.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: And once water gets in, it's not going to fix itself.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to keep getting in.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_02]: The third estimate is the place to go.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: And even then, it's just about the windows, too.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: We talk about the windows because free inspection, free inspection right now.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_02]: They do it all.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: The window.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: Again, think about this.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to turn that, you're going to turn that front of some point out.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_02]: And that just the money you pay to go right out that window right your room in your house isn't haunted strapped it It's not haunted just a little drafting one of the best things we did for houses windows dude We had the weights.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: Did you even know they had wood windows and what they would do is they would put a rope on the window Run it through a pulley and then there was a weight that would sit inside the door when we took our windows out I cut the rope you
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: they're a slam inside.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_02]: If you have that going on, if you can barely get your windows open if they're painted and they're cracking because they're single pain windows, go to the third estimate.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right now, free window inspection.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: Show you exactly where the air is getting in getting out, giving you a written price that's good for six months with no pressure.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: just see.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: See what that price is.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe stockpiled some cash over the winch.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_02]: Or again, if you don't think you're going to make it through the winter, you better get third estimate on the job right now.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: Book your free window inspection in the third estimate or call 1, 2, 3, 4, windows.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_02]: That easy.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: 1, 2, 3, 4, windows.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: The third estimate, small enough to listen, big enough to deliver.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: We make it too much out of Shidorah's saying or signing an agent today.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_02]: We'll discuss come back big play Cleveland live right here in YouTube.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_02]: I try not to make mountains out of a mole.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: You've heard that sound.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_02]: I usually do that in the sports media world when stuff comes out.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I just my gut a lot of times is to downplay.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: There's some stuff you see like holy cow.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like wow.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_02]: The news today, if you're seeing her hiring an agent, my initial gut is like that.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_02]: What's the big, no, maybe not.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I got to go to some tweets from Charles Robinson.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_02]: I was maybe swaying me a little bit on that.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's right.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_02]: He did sway me on Jerry Judy.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk about that in a little bit.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm at Faulty Anne Relive right here.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a big place.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: Sit that subscribe button.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_02]: Thumbs up in the YouTube comment.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_02]: Our question is out.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: Are you to pull?
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: how many games of the guardians went in three.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, reminder, one o'clock game tomorrow, they moved it up from six.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_02]: They're ghosts.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: No!
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: He's got tickets to go tomorrow.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man, that's a bad beat.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, damn rain, man.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: Again, guardians have moved up the game from six o'clock.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: So one o'clock tomorrow, if anybody's got extra tickets, I'll bet.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_02]: Right now, I'll go.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: Don't be fun.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: Just don't tell Bruce to just leave.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: You payin'?
- 56:29[SPEAKER_02]: I saw getting price.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: I did look, because I'm a cleavender.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, it was like 120 for standing room.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and like the upper, I'm too old.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to do standard room anymore.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_02]: I can't do it.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see, it's just more about getting into the game.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like that anxiety of, I want to be on the rail, you know, where in the standing room you're gonna be, I will take upper deck seats because I can walk in and go, that is my seat, I'm sitting here.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to, I gotta spot,
- 57:05[SPEAKER_02]: What do I care I'm not going the upper left field you know where the terrorist club used to be above that they have a huge bar open area they got about like four or five rows
- 57:18[SPEAKER_02]: chef's kiss two things number three things number one they price those as upper deck which is cheaper number two I think that's one of the better views of the field and number three You're not in the sun the sun is setting behind you.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_02]: You're in the shadows Because like when you're out there in center field or over there for you know six o'clock start would have been pretty brutal But even like day games brought you rose out there those are the those the chef kids see it's right there
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't have I I looked at take it was like yeah, I think 80 bucks plus some fees or whatever for the upper deck Yeah 120 for standing makes sense But you know again people moving up 61 maybe can't go see I'll go all right, so the news comes out today That I keep why I've my allergies are just rack me right now.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: I apologize
- 58:08[SPEAKER_02]: So, the news comes out that sure Sanders is hired in agent, and I don't even think this was necessarily something we all remembered or knew he does not have when he did not have one going through the draft process.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_02]: And he's not the first nor the last player to do that.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: Some guys are more apt to it.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_02]: Lamar famously doesn't have an agent, so I'm doing some don't.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: So, according to day or according to Adam Shefter today, Sanders is signed with
- 58:35[SPEAKER_02]: to now represent him for the first time in his career.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_02]: Travis Hunter is also signed with the same agency, and of course their friends, Colorado, there's a tie to this.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_02]: So everybody wants to jump on this is him trying to get out of Cleveland, because you hire an agent to help facilitate that to happen to get out.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: And my first initial reaction was I think that's doing too much.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's too much because if the Browns were apt to move him, they would just move him.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_02]: This is.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_02]: We need to have an uncomfortable conversation right now.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I know it's going to piss people off the way I'm going to talk about this.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel bad because I like Shoulder Sanders.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_02]: I've got nothing against him.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_02]: But this sounds like you're talking about the seventh overall pit.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_02]: This sounds like you're talking about a guy that was given a bunch of money as a franchise quarterback or drafted first overall.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_02]: And this is some huge thing he's got to get out of here.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_02]: Calm down, he's a fifth round pick.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he played okay in seven games.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_02]: because the cons are like what Charles Johnson and I respect the hell on a Charles Robinson they go.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_02]: Marvin Harrison just did the same thing and he got a Marvin Harrison he's not should or Sanders.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_02]: Should or Sanders is not Marvin Harrison.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_02]: Stop it.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I say all that to say this, I do think there is something here.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_02]: Charles writes worth noting the Marvin Harrison hired a pair of agents last month to seek and facilitate his trade.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_02]: The strawsworths, I don't think she's a hiring agent now that he's stuck behind his son Watson is a coincidence.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody tweets that I'm going to go your reach him.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_02]: He follows up.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_02]: Shoulders in year two of a four-year deal, he stuck behind Watts and he didn't hire an agent when he actually needed one to go through draft process as it worked on mine.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_02]: But now he hires one five games into a second season with 12 games and two years left that has rookie deal.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_02]: Agent's seek options.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's their job.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_02]: Is what Charles says here.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_02]: Is it something or not?
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: Is it something?
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, is it something for the Browns fans to worry about or just something for short or worry about?
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's not a big deal for Browns fans, but it is a big deal for short or Sanders.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: Because it is you and I at least worth paying attention to me.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_01]: We just watched Marvin Harris and higher in agent than quite literally just days later.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_01]: He gets traded.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: But it is different.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about a guy who was a fourth overall pick I believe, which by the way for receivers and saintly high versus a fifth round quarterback, so they're very different.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: I get that.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: But the situation at least from the outside is the same.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to plead ignorance here.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_02]: What is an agent actually doing this?
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_01]: But in here's the thing because it's like situations with Marvin Harris and Shores Sanders way different.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: Marvin Harris and not to say he had some absurd crazy amount of leverage, but he was way deeper into his contract than Shores Sanders.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and I had a, again, to your point, a first round top four pick, like there's going to always be that team's will.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: And what keep that.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_02]: you know that situation had completely utterly boiled over like we all saw the clips we all saw his play even going back to last year that was so completely obvious that he need to get the hell out of here and I say that of pleading nerds of like what an agent is going what is an agent going to do in this whole thing.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_02]: here's what they would do right behind the scenes without trying to let it leak out this agent would go call Andrew Barry and say, hey, should door wants out of here.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, and Barry would then give a behind the scenes potentially blessing to this agent, go call some other teams and drum up a deal and you call me when somebody gets something worth a damn right.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_02]: What's the point of that?
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_02]: To do what?
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_02]: Can I just be really mean for a second here?
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_02]: Is Shidorah was worth anything?
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_02]: People wouldn't be calling.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_02]: If other teens saw value in him, I'm an idiot.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I could see the Browns don't have a future plan for Shidorah Sanders.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_02]: If anybody else had a remote freaking interest in Shidorah Sanders, they don't need an agent.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_02]: They would call Andrew Barry and go, are you looking to move him?
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_02]: It can't be that hard.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I don't.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to the other side.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to Shnorside.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_02]: Shnorside, Shnorside, Hires and Agent.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_02]: What's the Agent's job?
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_02]: Always in forever.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: To be the bad guy.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_02]: To be the A-hole.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: The one to fight for every, yes, there's a lawyer and you got to read contracts.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's the set that aside.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_02]: Your agent is meant to be the bad guy.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: So when you walk into that locker room, when you sit down with that general manager, the players, I mean, the players understand its business.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not so much that the Agent's job is to be the one the fight for the players do what they need to do.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: Completely understand that.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_02]: What is that agent going to actually do?
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_02]: To sit down with the injured bearer and say, Shador wants to get out of here.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_02]: How is that any different of Shador just sat down with the injured bearer and said, you know what I want out of here?
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_02]: What leverage does he have to your exact point, right?
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_02]: What leverage does Shador have?
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Andrew Barry, as a good general manager, it's not his interest in a way that's gonna sound crazy.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_02]: To do what's best for the player.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's not his business to go help some other team.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_02]: His job is to help the Cleveland Browns.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_02]: Are the Browns worse off without Shador Sanders?
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_02]: There's, you might say, like you don't say, look, what's the point of trading them?
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_02]: There's no point keeping them around.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's a what?
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_02]: Adrian Barry's job is to look out solely for the Cleveland Rounds, not for Shidorah Sanders and not for any other team.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_02]: So with all of that in mind, what is his motivation to trade Shidorah?
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_01]: Let me ask you this Matt, if Shidorah Sanders doesn't take a snap this season, which I think is becoming increasingly possible.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_01]: Then next off season, it should or Sanders value less, more or stagnant.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_02]: If he doesn't take a snap less, it's less.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_02]: But here's my thing.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_02]: Even at this point, what are you getting?
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_02]: A five that replaces your value?
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: Because if we believe it's less and the Browns do plan to play to Sean Watson, the rest of the season, we'll certainly play a part of whether they're not actually due trade.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_01]: And because, again, he's just 24, I think we have this contract, we're lucky to be through 28.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_02]: Do you remember the conversation you and I had about that?
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_02]: About where I said, I completely empathize with where Shidorah Sanders is at right now, because it's gotta be scary as hell, man.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_02]: I also this guy's senior watching his career almost go down the tube.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'd want out of here too to have a chance to play.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_02]: I completely understand and empathize where Shidorah Sanders is coming with this, but it doesn't need to be that.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_02]: Like, well, also too weird.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_02]: What are you going to do?
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_02]: Get me out of here.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_02]: Then he's going to go north.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_01]: Shidorah Sanders his soonest route.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_01]: There are two different things between it being his soonest route to play in his best route, right?
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_01]: Because best route maybe it is a good one.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's a samdarl type career.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_01]: Great point.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_01]: Is it better to have him sit on your bench to fell up and you end up not using him or to get a fifth round that might turn into nothing?
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's almost like a wash.
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's almost a wash.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_02]: Cause you want to lie, he plays quarterback.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's a receiver, he's a corner or I'm going to completely different conversations gone.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_02]: He's a quarterback.
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_02]: So even on that small tiny lottery chance that he develops and is something, you don't just throw that away, or just give that away for nothing.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_02]: And again, in the relative of like, even when the Brown straps and everybody goes, I'm like, what do you find in the fifth round?
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, a GM is lucky once in their career to find a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_02]: I've never been one.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_02]: I understand fourth fifth seven, you know, those picks are important for back in and special teams and that kind of stuff.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_02]: But like, let's also not sit here and act like you're getting some franchise altering draft.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's what I'm saying.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_02]: I do not for the life of me understand the motivation for the Browns to get rid of Shidorah Sanders.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_02]: unless he just becomes a massive distraction and headache, which maybe that's the next play.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying that that's who he's not bad.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's not bad.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_02]: Can you, can you, can you, I see no motivation for the Brown so just to give up on shit or saying it before I get into this point about to make going back to mind about the soonest route probably still is with Cleveland.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like the Sean Watson still probably isn't going to play 17 games.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_01]: The other thing is, I think he'll be the next man up.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's clear, but Matt real quick, yeah, can you just please speak on this because we got to comment in the YouTube.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he'll explain it better to me.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_01]: Triple Thunder sentences.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's a Shador was supposed to be drapped in the first round.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_01]: Him being a fifth round has nothing to do with his actual talent.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_02]: So basically, he didn't get drafted in the second round.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't fall from the second ball and second overall picked to 18th.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying is just like when you get a, do you talk about the same Donald right?
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_02]: You wanted to why same Donald's career actually paned out the way it did, because he still had a first round greed.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's still forever had a label of a first round quarterback.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_02]: You'd be shocked with that buys you in the NFL.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually super impressive that Justin Gilbert screwed that up as bad as he did, right?
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_02]: You very rarely see first round picks, not get multiple opportunities to work out.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand all, there's busts left and right, but usually they get a couple more cracks at it then a fifth rounder does.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_01]: Whether or not his talent was there or not?
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, I don't know.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't know.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see it, but I'm also not an
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see it.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see the second best guy because somebody had to be in like milk hypergun on some juice like okay fine sure Whatever was he going to be the second all of our picky wasn't he fell into the fifth round there's got to be something there And then again even when he played sure he played well He played fine, but there was also no part of it where I'm like, whoa, you know like I saw a couple for there We're some nice throw this thing in essence this conversation always comes back to people trying to crap on shit Or I'm not trying to do that
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't know.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_01]: And it's people trying to make nothing.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, but that's the thing, too.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_02]: People get, or make something out of nothing.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_02]: People get very defensive of him.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_02]: Because they like him.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to tell you you're wrong for that.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's part of being a fan.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like, the Browns could be utter dog crap.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm still going to argue with people about him.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_02]: Because I don't want him talking about about my team.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's people are stores and understand.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_02]: I respect you defending him.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_02]: I respect you Wanting the best for your guy and the thing is I think Shidorah realizes the best is not here But I want to bring this up because you brought up a great point here here versus somewhere else No one will have your back more than the team that drafted you though
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_02]: Especially with the GM still in place whether or not you want to believe who drafted him the ownership or whatever.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_02]: No one will have your back more than the team that drafted you because it looks good to them too.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_02]: So he arguably will not get a better chance than he would get here in Cleveland and he's still not getting
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_01]: for one reason or another and also maybe to go back to the will he was a first round talent if he was actually first round talent and let's say he did in some crazy world get black ball by the NFL if he was a first round talent you're telling me some team wouldn't be like hey brown here's a third I'm gonna take the chance sure
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_02]: And the practice would adapt to that if it happened when I'm saying, is that you wouldn't need an agent to go facilitate something.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_02]: And it and it give you Marv Harrison's a little bit maybe different because his play was, you know, pretty atrocious, but like I think that was more of the negotiation.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so here's the back end thing on this.
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_02]: When a GM gives an agent the right to seek a trade, it's because they've already been trying to do it a lot of times and they're sick of looking for it.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_02]: Anthony Richardson, like they're just done.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_02]: So instead of me ripping through 1000 text mess and arguing with the general managers,
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_02]: you have the age now the other side of that is when the guy's got a sign in extension you see that I can basketball he'll get traded there but he's got a sign in extension that's when you get the agent involved because they go talk to the go go talk to the warriors I don't know I can't take anybody go go talk to the calves and then work to deal out and then you make sure you have a contractor willing sign and then call me and then we'll you know we'll get that kind of stuff done football you don't have that
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_02]: So like, and again, let's not, let's not get this twisted.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_02]: There's no world that Andrew Barry has given this agent any sort of, yeah, go, all should or did was hire an agent that he's just called Andrew Barry and Andrew Barry could go, go to hell.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so it's also the most again, and I know where that's kind of the point we're trying to make this could also just be absolutely nothing.
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_01]: It could be
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's the most normal thing in the world in NFL quarterback hiring an agent who by the way That's what I mean is interesting It's a really the timing is 100 percent It's part and that's why I said it's worth mentioning and paying attention to yeah, but I looked it up kind of funny here his agent the name is Eddie von Eddie Von Gondon CEO of young money APAA sports associated with Lil Wayne he makes music
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Let me just make a music.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and the other thing with a lot of these, um, um, um, I didn't know this.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_02]: This dude's great grandfather founded Anheiser Bush, talk about being born into money.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_02]: His grandfather founded Anheiser Bush.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_02]: for them.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, the other thing is I don't know this, this, this, this guy very, very, like, like, there's, it's not a name I've heard, like, okay, he's got Travis Hunter.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of times with these guys, too, they just want to build that book of players to get more players in.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_02]: That happens all the time.
- 1:12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like, there's a couple Cleveland guys.
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_02]: that are agents in the NFL and Travis Kelsey jumped on we don't even like so then other players that they just want to be able to build their book to become that next power super agent You know what I mean, so maybe that's all this is this guy again.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_02]: I don't this guy's been certified since 2023.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_02]: So he's well, he's new young money sport.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's negotiated 21 contracts in his NFL agent career.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_02]: This is name's Al d'Burt.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's, again, young, he knew maybe he's just trying to add some people and Shoulder said, sure, maybe now's the time.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_02]: Again, maybe not, it could be totally, but also like, again, this dude calling, Can I expose another little back end part of agents in the NFL sphere that People might know might not know.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not trying to speak down to you, but this is something else that happens a lot.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not speaking down at an ad event.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_02]: God, I love his grandfather's spirit still issues.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's no garage beer, but it's pretty good.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_02]: When, uh, when clutch in the NBA circle, right, or who's the most powerful, David Mughalada or whatever his name is in the NFL, most NFL power agents.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you think?
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I just go with this, right?
- 1:13:27[SPEAKER_01]: Rosenhaus.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Rosenhaus.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_02]: David Mughalada.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Rosenhaus, Tom Condon is a big one at CA football.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_02]: When those guys call, and they got this role in Accidudes,
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_02]: you sometimes got to play games with them.
- 1:13:44[SPEAKER_02]: And this happens all the time.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say Ryan and I are both represented by the great Adi-Van-Dantard, okay?
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_02]: And we're on a team and I might be getting cut.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_02]: But the agent calls and goes, hey, you need that contract extension we're here for Ryan.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't we work on here?
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't you keep mad on the roster because it looks better for me that I have X number of guys on an NFL roster and I got X number of guys paid.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_01]: It happens all the time.
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_02]: That happens all the time.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_02]: And you see guys get picked to, I'm talking back in roster spots, right?
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's there.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_02]: But again, it's like, welcome to business, welcome to world, right?
- 1:14:27[SPEAKER_02]: You negotiated fair on this one, all right.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm gonna be more of a little stickler over here.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_02]: You helped me get this guy paid over here so then maybe I'll cut you a little bit deal over here.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_02]: Just pawns.
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's how this game works.
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_02]: This dude.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_02]: I am being disrespectful.
- 1:14:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mean to be.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_02]: Eddie Von Gontart calls Andrew Barry.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_02]: What's he negotiating with?
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_02]: What power is he calling?
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, I just, yeah, the only thing, the only thing that this has going for me is the timing, other than that, this just seems like a giant smoke and mirror, a whole bunch of nothing, but the timing is a very interesting one.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit of context, please.
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_01]: Hard pressure in the chat.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's as big.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_01]: Book, night, serves as the head of operations, an original founder at young money sports and entertainment.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's been with Shidorah for two years.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_01]: I was decided to sign a contract with my Google that it looks like he's worked closely with Dion with Shidorah with Travis a couple of years.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm looking, here's, here's the, Travis Honors Chador Sanders.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Smith, who's only in a second year, Kianjrey Lambert Smith, who's in his second year, for Shard and Smith, second year guy, Brent and Cox, Leonard Taylor, Corey Kiner.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_01]: So since he did, I don't, my Bearcats.
- 1:15:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Patriots, good, or a place with Patriots, no?
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_02]: Argya Mickens.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_02]: I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_02]: watching that team without Casey conception, you maybe can't live without Jerry Judy.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, good news, by the way, at this very moment, Casey conception is on the practice field for the Cleveland Brown, so we'll see how it goes.
- 1:16:26[SPEAKER_02]: Reports come out from Jordan Schultz yesterday that the Browns are seeking a three and a four for Jerry Judy.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_02]: What do we know that means?
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_02]: They'll take a five.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_02]: What do they always joke when you're seeking something, it's really you'll take something else.
- 1:16:39[SPEAKER_02]: I've actually kind of come up the other side of it, and the Pittsburgh game had a little to do with it.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know where I stood.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_02]: I was always of the mindset that I'm not giving Jerry Judy away, and I would entertain it.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_02]: When Denzel boss in a case he can step shot showed me that they could handle this role.
- 1:16:57[SPEAKER_02]: For quite a few games, I thought they could handle that role.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_02]: Casey going down kind of as a good reminder of like maybe we're not as far along as we really thought we were going to be.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not doing it for a five.
- 1:17:12[SPEAKER_02]: Three or four?
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody else calls with it?
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_02]: All non-do.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_02]: I've got no, I've got, it's like, should do it.
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_02]: What is your motivation?
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_02]: A fifth round pick?
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_01]: If that's, that's actually a really good point because I think the threshold for me is that third and fourth round or because I'm so against, even though I know we're rebuilding, like it's going to be, who knows the Jadejuice part of our future, but I'm so against while you're winning games, trading away players.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_01]: that you aren't in a playoff on you don't trade away players when you're a playoff on this great agree or give any third for a guy that might not be here in the future.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's like that's when I really have to consider it on Sunday when you're trying to win a game to win the playoff that's around picking helping.
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_01]: When Casey went down, it's like I understand Jerry Judy isn't seeing type of players Casey, but
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_01]: when your depth is I say a bond and then you got some special teams gurus like you need Judy to step in there and it kept me in it like he's I thought he was you think he's like the Sean's best friend and that locker room it seems like
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and again, I'm going to give credit to to tell me that's not a good guy to have in the long room before you're starting to go back and I'm sure that the help of the development of these two guys and he's helped them so in case he goes back to them talents there, you talk about it.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_02]: No, I never once did I just they were getting them the football.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think just that's simple.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_01]: I still think for me it's just simple as it gets interesting and a third when I'm against trading players while you're fighting for the freaking playoffs man.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_02]: Unless it's a deal that you got father sure.
- 1:18:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's I do think I mean that crazy to say a godfather offer would be a third But I think it would be to me a third-bron pick absolutely I'm making sure and you talk now You know the other trade that I would have made They just posted a video of Marv Harrison and CJ Stroud walking out to Texan's practice That was too much
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, second year.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's too much.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's too much.
- 1:19:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's desperation.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I joked about the Browns having that for because the report was a day three pick and I was like the Browns have three fourth round picks.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_02]: All day.
- 1:19:19[SPEAKER_02]: Now, second and I wanted more bad.
- 1:19:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know I wanted him bad.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_01]: Not for a second and you hear the car must you just gotta feel like you were getting rid of him anyway Well, and you just got a free second for a team that's Owen for that.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_02]: But that's exactly why they gave up the second because the ship is thinking man It's going down and they need something in there to give any sort of spark or hope or prayer But for this team right now a wide receiver.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's oh, there's hype.
- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_02]: You what if you aren't I'm saying you wouldn't talk yourself into that for a little bit
- 1:19:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's all this was was to get a little heat off to me go Ryan's and for people for a couple of days to feel good about their team.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_02]: I guess if you're trying to really evaluate Mark C.J.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Stroud in a contract here, yeah, that helps.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's also like they've just been sneak bit and like there was all their receivers are heard again.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I still think there's a world mile of works in the NFL.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_02]: I just think he was just gone there in Arizona.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_02]: So again, him back with CJ and I'm making that hell.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_01]: He was going to make the trade.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_01]: The text has made the most sense that and plus CJ shot.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they went to CJ and asked him like, what are your thoughts?
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and I, again, I, I, I, that was a debt.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_02]: You do not want to make moves in desperation.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_02]: That was desperate.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_02]: One hundred percent.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_02]: That was desperate.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_02]: And again, comes exactly back to our conversation here.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_02]: I love when this happens.
- 1:20:37[SPEAKER_02]: It just comes right on back to Jerry Judy and Shidorah Sanders.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_02]: the prongs are not desperate and either one of those spots.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody calls with the right offer.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_02]: We'll listen.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're not desperate.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_02]: The prongs don't have to do anything.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_02]: We should or say inters or Jerry Judy and they'll be just fine.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't a salary cap dump situation.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't he's preventing somebody else from playing.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's just about drama.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_02]: You want to know what?
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Brown should be pretty damn good at handling that because they've had
- 1:21:10[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the thing, I'm not saying there's any, it's the thing.
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's not drama.
- 1:21:13[SPEAKER_02]: Shoulders not done anything.
- 1:21:14[SPEAKER_02]: If your duty's not said a word, you're in the playoff on at this point.
- 1:21:20[SPEAKER_02]: And again, for Shador, I like we got to understand the human aspect of it.
- 1:21:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like everybody saw that clip on the sidelines of the score.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Touching, he wants to be a part of it.
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_01]: He'd like to be out there playing.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's not happening.
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to give the kids some, I have a lot of empathy for him in that situation.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_01]: Any kind of empathy because if I, yeah, I'd want to play, but it's not act like he's.
- 1:21:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like they're holding him back from going up some Hallfane career.
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about a million air, who has a chance to play in the NFL.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like I hope he gets it.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, but that's there are the problem is while he's still here and eventually we'll we'll have an answer to this question.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_02]: But people think like somehow that the Browns stifling shore singers like holding back the next paint manning, you know, or something like that.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I think it's on the field.
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_01]: He can do something.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see it.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_02]: I really haven't.
- 1:22:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I again, I would love the opportunity to be proven wrong.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_02]: I think the right thing was to start Shidorah Seniors.
- 1:22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I think it could Shidorah be doing what Dishon is.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, same thing.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_02]: My aunt had blanked it could be this.
- 1:22:23[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea.
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to play.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to see a situation, but again, he's got to look out for himself.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_02]: And if he does, I don't think he needs an agent to do this either.
- 1:22:32[SPEAKER_02]: If he sat down on the
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_02]: Now is that a good move for Angel Berry, no, but Angel Berry is also a human being.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_01]: And you, the hell even knows if she door wants to get out.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_01]: Right, this could have been simply about his music career, or it's just helping out a friend.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Make some music, man, come on.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_02]: This dude, you really got to murder this dude.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_02]: This agent is making no money off of a contract that should or already signed.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't get that money for a contract that's already signed.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, if he hired him, there's got to be some money.
- 1:23:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like he's doing it for free.
- 1:23:05[SPEAKER_02]: But you know what I'm saying?
- 1:23:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you got what a lot of times guys switch agents right before they negotiate a contract or the negotiations weren't going well.
- 1:23:12[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to flip over here with the Travis Hunter interest with what our our our person said in the comments section there.
- 1:23:18[SPEAKER_02]: This just sounds like he has outside interest.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_02]: Good for him.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's awesome.
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_02]: I yearn for the dag in an agent.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_02]: I got it off for one time.
- 1:23:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's like I don't make enough for you for that representative.
- 1:23:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'll negotiate my own crappy contracts.
- 1:23:31[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you very much.
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, good for him.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's going to be any issue.
- 1:23:37[SPEAKER_02]: If he really sat down in the interview, I was like, dude, I got to go.
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_02]: But bears gonna sit there really there's no point that that doesn't make sense for the Cleveland Browns.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_02]: You're here.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_02]: You might as well write it out.
- 1:23:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'd do this.
- 1:23:45[SPEAKER_02]: We're way late.
- 1:23:46[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to talk some buck eyes.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_02]: I want to give you a slam of a play that I love for this game coming up on Sunday.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_02]: Between the Hoosiers and the buck guys.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_02]: We all get to that.
- 1:23:54[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to the grid.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to it all physician.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_02]: Happened again.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm driving on the road yesterday.
- 1:24:00[SPEAKER_02]: I see an hour ago.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_02]: That he was egg.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_02]: Physicians ambulance.
- 1:24:03[SPEAKER_02]: That was them.
- 1:24:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh gee.
- 1:24:05[SPEAKER_02]: That's Huntington Bankfield.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_02]: Rocket Arena.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_02]: One o'clock instead of six o'clock tomorrow, guess we're a physician's ambulance will be better tech chase and I'm sure he was given the heads up.
- 1:24:16[SPEAKER_02]: Hey man move the illnesses up there better be over there That's physician's ambulance the other choice was so many great companies here in northeast Ohio and they do a lot of event medicine again I'm not you know the EMT paramedic where my brother is registered EMT
- 1:24:28[SPEAKER_02]: and paramedic.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I think so much about, I think it's a really cool job.
- 1:24:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, number one, you're potentially saving lives.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_02]: You're taking care of people.
- 1:24:36[SPEAKER_02]: But you're at the event medicine.
- 1:24:37[SPEAKER_02]: You could say you were there.
- 1:24:38[SPEAKER_02]: Are you sitting now watching the game?
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, you're working.
- 1:24:40[SPEAKER_02]: But you're at all these great events all around Cleveland, all around Northeast Ohio, all the way down to Columbus, all over.
- 1:24:48[SPEAKER_02]: Physicians, aimances, hiring.
- 1:24:50[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the heart of care.
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_02]: You see it right there.
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_02]: The people at the heart of care.
- 1:24:55[SPEAKER_02]: They, you know, chasing even this line one time.
- 1:24:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's so out.
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_02]: He was, I hope we're not needed.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_02]: We're there in case we're needed, but we're very hope that we're not at Brown's training camp, heat, right, at concerts, heat, uh, you're somebody accidentally fault, like that's where they're, they hope they're not needed.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_02]: But if they are, there is no better place, no better people than physicians, ambulance, they're higher and right now, scan that QR code, go to physiciansamilance.com.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_02]: You could just be starting your journey, could be a veteran EMT or paramedic, reach out to him and any say, you are working municipal, right?
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_02]: Physicians is perfect.
- 1:25:31[SPEAKER_02]: You could work one of that medicine shift a week.
- 1:25:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's not a note trust me That'll work.
- 1:25:37[SPEAKER_02]: They'd love to have you just pick up a little extra cash Physicians amillust.com follow my LinkedIn Facebook Instagram wherever you're at follow along with our friends at physicians ambulance All right, we had to talk some book guys Ryan's gonna laugh, but I got a lock.
- 1:25:52[SPEAKER_02]: I got a boy.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you what it is stop you knock that off over there I got it.
- 1:25:55[SPEAKER_02]: We're good
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get ready to go for a high state Indiana.
- 1:25:58[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to the grid.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_02]: We'll send you off on our Wednesday.
- 1:26:00[SPEAKER_02]: Stay with us.
- 1:28:01[SPEAKER_02]: Buckeye's Indiana top five matchup in Bloomington.
- 1:28:05[SPEAKER_02]: There's a play I very much like for this game coming up.
- 1:28:08[SPEAKER_02]: He's Ryan Tyler on Matt Fawtsan or live here on Big Play Police.
- 1:28:10[SPEAKER_02]: If you can't subscribe to the channel, give us that thumbs up, getting that YouTube chat, presented by great friends.
- 1:28:15[SPEAKER_02]: The third estimate beats 216 garage beer.
- 1:28:18[SPEAKER_02]: And physicians, ambulance, I love the under in this game.
- 1:28:22[SPEAKER_01]: I've got it at 51 and a half.
- 1:28:24[SPEAKER_01]: You want to double check me on that if you don't mind there, Ryan, please.
- 1:28:27[SPEAKER_02]: Two things, number one, Indiana is led by their defense.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_02]: They have a defensive line that I am very concerned about when it comes to how high is 51 and a half.
- 1:28:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I'd be just to it.
- 1:28:37[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, it's 50 and a half to 51 and a half.
- 1:28:40[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I got 51 and a half.
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, a 50 and I'm just kidding.
- 1:28:43[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 1:28:43[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, that's, you know, gambling, that's it.
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_02]: I know how that goes.
- 1:28:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I like the hook.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_02]: I love the hook.
- 1:28:48[SPEAKER_02]: I am frozen on the hook as a half point.
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_02]: You can't push that.
- 1:28:51[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like push, I'm giving the hook.
- 1:28:53[SPEAKER_02]: Um, their D line is going to be the biggest key for Indiana to win this game.
- 1:28:58[SPEAKER_02]: I know they have Nick Marsh and Charlie Becker and they have Turbo Richard.
- 1:29:02[SPEAKER_02]: Pro, this is a team that against Nebraska struggle to reach 20 points.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I, my bias, I think Ohio State wins this game easily.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_02]: I like the three and a half, but I really like the under.
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like I could see this being like 2814.
- 1:29:23[SPEAKER_02]: I could see this being like a 37 team type of game, 31 17.
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_02]: Now you're getting close to that 50, but I just, I really struggle to find how Indiana is going to put up.
- 1:29:36[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's so unprofessional, I apologize.
- 1:29:39[SPEAKER_02]: I struggle to see Indiana being able to put up enough points to push this to the over.
- 1:29:44[SPEAKER_02]: But then, conversely, I think Indiana's defense is good enough.
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why the state's going to crack 30 in this one.
- 1:29:50[SPEAKER_02]: I love the under in this game.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_02]: I like Ohio State to cover a couple of things.
- 1:29:55[SPEAKER_02]: Your offensive line for Ohio State is a little decimated right now.
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_02]: Austin Seraphel who was your right guard.
- 1:30:01[SPEAKER_02]: He went to right tackle and Philip Daniels got hurt.
- 1:30:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's going to play this weekend.
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_02]: So Philip Daniels is back off injury.
- 1:30:08[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to go when it right tackle, but he was kind of struggling against Texas.
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_02]: Then he'll game in sickle, who was your right tackle against Maryland, go back to guard.
- 1:30:14[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to have to run the football.
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_02]: They will do everything on God's greener to stop Jeremiah Smith, but that's going to lead to a light box.
- 1:30:25[SPEAKER_02]: which is what you saw against Marilyn when we rush for over 200 yards and had our first 100 yard rush of the game.
- 1:30:30[SPEAKER_02]: Another reason why I kind of like the under in this one, I don't think there's going to be these big, quick, snappy drives on either point.
- 1:30:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think it is going to be a run fest for both of these teams.
- 1:30:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I like the under, but I think Ohio State's going to take care of this one.
- 1:30:46[SPEAKER_02]: At the end of the day, Josh Hoover, I've not been impressed.
- 1:30:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, what he did at TCU, you're in the big 10 now, buddy.
- 1:30:59[SPEAKER_02]: A little different up here, and they're going to need him to win this game coming up on Saturday.
- 1:31:05[SPEAKER_02]: The two prior games that they really said that, they beat Northwestern by six and Nebraska by three, and he had to come back and then Nebraska and throw it all over the yard in those last couple of drives.
- 1:31:16[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen Julian saying win big games.
- 1:31:19[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen Marvin Harrison be a big part of this is to see my face and you say, yeah, okay, I've seen Julian saying a win bigger games than Josh Hoover has, would you give biggest win a week one against Texas, yeah, last year and they scored 12 points.
- 1:31:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then lost in the big the chip in chip and then lost to Miami, yeah, who could teams, but point yeah, you beat.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_02]: mission and when they were some ideas and I guess all right he's one bigger games than Joshua has at end you that's unequivocally a fact um i do think in the end has got the better defense i do offensively
- 1:31:55[SPEAKER_02]: close to a wash, but when you have Jeremiah Smith, you're always gonna have that edge.
- 1:32:00[SPEAKER_02]: So again, two bets, I love the under, but I will take a high state minus three and a half.
- 1:32:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a couple things, please.
- 1:32:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, oh, you know me, I'm gonna take Indiana to win.
- 1:32:10[SPEAKER_01]: If Ohio State drops his game at, how fucker does it gonna be?
- 1:32:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm not saying you're gonna lose another game, but you still gotta beat 19 US, you gotta be Oregon, you gotta beat Northwestern.
- 1:32:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then Michigan.
- 1:32:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that is three ranked teams.
- 1:32:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Oregon's on the precipice of just their circle in the bowl anyway USC would very much be a a little bit of an afraid to me.
- 1:32:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's on me a pissed off Oregon team.
- 1:32:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, their hearts broke.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_01]: How to stay what two out of the last three years.
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_02]: Let's let's play this out that one team on Saturday.
- 1:32:39[SPEAKER_02]: Can I just say something.
- 1:32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Go.
- 1:32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.
- 1:32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Ohio State doesn't get in with three losses, right?
- 1:32:45[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm, let me let me tell you why it's here here.
- 1:32:49[SPEAKER_02]: Here.
- 1:32:49[SPEAKER_01]: Let's sun them.
- 1:32:52[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody's getting in eventually with three.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_02]: Let's start with this.
- 1:32:56[SPEAKER_01]: But Ryan.
- 1:32:56[SPEAKER_01]: They're still one of the best 12 teams in the country.
- 1:33:03[SPEAKER_02]: It first off, it's Ohio State.
- 1:33:05[SPEAKER_01]: If anybody is going to, I don't, what do you want me to do?
- 1:33:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's the old truth.
- 1:33:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:33:11[SPEAKER_01]: If your argument starts with what the Ohio State will, they're all a Bama.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_01]: That is, I'm not saying I'm telling you how the committee's going to look at.
- 1:33:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying it's not a fact, but just don't expect me to take it seriously.
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_02]: Then five, you know, I will give you some other ones.
- 1:33:23[SPEAKER_02]: But like that is number one.
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's Ohio State.
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_02]: A three loss Wisconsin team is not getting it.
- 1:33:29[SPEAKER_02]: A three loss Ohio State team might.
- 1:33:33[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's start with this.
- 1:33:34[SPEAKER_02]: Saturday, somebody gets their ass kicked.
- 1:33:39[SPEAKER_02]: One of the two, okay?
- 1:33:41[SPEAKER_02]: Then let's pretend that that team that got their ass kicked then loses another game.
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_02]: You would then have a two-loss Indiana team, got their butts wop, or a three-loss Ohio State team that got their butts wopped.
- 1:33:56[SPEAKER_02]: The big tent's gonna be sitting there shaking in their boots.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_02]: because then they're staring on the barrel of only two to get.
- 1:34:04[SPEAKER_02]: Remember, we were senior talking for the 10 right now is lucky if they get two win.
- 1:34:10[SPEAKER_02]: Or against done, you're hoping on Wisconsin to make some noise or USC.
- 1:34:17[SPEAKER_02]: The big 10 in no world ever will get less than two teams in.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's the college football player.
- 1:34:24[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where it would be Indiana, it would be Indiana, what a two loss USC team versus a three loss Ohio State team that should have been Texas and again, to outside of them getting boat race by Indiana, you'd make the same exact statement against them.
- 1:34:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then if they had a fluky puky win against somebody else or lost, excuse me, and someone else would by the way, Ryan Deart, Ryan Deart does not do like urban Meyer.
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to give it to our staff or crazy idea.
- 1:34:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, give it to the three lost to you in the SEC.
- 1:34:52[SPEAKER_02]: No, they're already going to do this is already setting up that they're going to take a godly mind SEC teams.
- 1:35:00[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to take like six to seven teams at a 12 team play off.
- 1:35:03[SPEAKER_02]: Well, do they all have two losses?
- 1:35:05[SPEAKER_02]: Most likely because they're going to have it.
- 1:35:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine, but don't sit here and tell me if they see he's got nobody.
- 1:35:09[SPEAKER_02]: No, but in there, they are praying to the God that Miami wins that conference championship because you're going to have that same like Duke thing right where they win.
- 1:35:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's closed.
- 1:35:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, what?
- 1:35:19[SPEAKER_02]: Big 12, blow.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like the teams didn't align with you making the most profit because of the markets and fan bases.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_01]: But, but.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_02]: But, but.
- 1:35:27[SPEAKER_02]: Remember.
- 1:35:28[SPEAKER_02]: Remember.
- 1:35:29[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to do what the hell they want.
- 1:35:31[SPEAKER_01]: But, we care about the health of the sport, right?
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 1:35:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's why they don't.
- 1:35:42[SPEAKER_02]: In a way, there's solid to be had.
- 1:35:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'll make you feel better, Ryan.
- 1:35:45[SPEAKER_02]: They're greedy bastards.
- 1:35:47[SPEAKER_02]: Just accept that.
- 1:35:49[SPEAKER_02]: As long as you look at it, at least you want to know what?
- 1:35:52[SPEAKER_02]: And at least I can appreciate them for being that.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_01]: Here's another part.
- 1:35:56[SPEAKER_02]: But the issue is then they let James Madison and all these other crappy teams.
- 1:35:59[SPEAKER_02]: If it was just about the money that Alabama and Ohio State and Florida and, you know, Georgia, the one I miss, they'd all be in every year for just a month.
- 1:36:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to act like this is going to fix this problem because I know it's inherently not.
- 1:36:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not sure there is a fix.
- 1:36:13[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe, like, I'm being filled with soft clear and generalizations of college football fans, this will change.
- 1:36:20[SPEAKER_01]: there are people that live in Cincinnati for I'm using this exam because I went there there are students that went to UC and their fans are the buck guys and they will choose buck guys over UC why I don't think it's because they like them more it's because they're winning they get selected I'm not saying they haven't earned that right to be over Cincinnati of course they have a right suggesting that but maybe if you let's if you let a team like since he get in with one loss over three last season like that then maybe people would be like oh why aren't I fans of the team I went to why aren't I fans of the team I live by rather than
- 1:36:53[SPEAKER_02]: I completely understand what you're saying is that the best program of college football.
- 1:36:56[SPEAKER_02]: I acknowledge that and they deserve as much as much as they want you to pretend and think that they like parity they do not.
- 1:37:04[SPEAKER_01]: I know they hate it.
- 1:37:05[SPEAKER_02]: Of course they take the same eight teams every year if they could and you know they the ones I just mentioned, Notre Dame Ohio State, Alabama, George now schools in one
- 1:37:17[SPEAKER_02]: Clemson used to be one of those teams and now they you might as well jettison them off into the sun So that's where you're talking about Indiana Indiana was a joke, right?
- 1:37:27[SPEAKER_02]: I took a coach and so that window is always there But that's on the teams themselves But that's you and I L Sure, but that's also the the conference that that's congrats I often went to your school congrats right the playoff committee In essence, what is their job?
- 1:37:45[SPEAKER_02]: to put together the best playoff field or to crown the actual national champion because sometimes those are not the same thing.
- 1:37:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right, it's just so what?
- 1:37:56[SPEAKER_02]: This is why they had the pair, their job.
- 1:37:59[SPEAKER_02]: In my opinion, should be to find the 12 teams that have the best shot to win a national championship.
- 1:38:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's why James Madison and Tulane was a waste of time.
- 1:38:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is why they can't be in, I don't know, you're going to agree with me.
- 1:38:12[SPEAKER_01]: They can't be in the same division as Georgia now.
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't get to separate 100 episodes.
- 1:38:17[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, that has to fix.
- 1:38:18[SPEAKER_01]: Cause otherwise, and where was I going with this thought?
- 1:38:20[SPEAKER_01]: You just said what?
- 1:38:22[SPEAKER_01]: James Madison to lane the job of the committee is it either to get that that's why it's such a problem because when you and Bruce were telling me that Florida state that year they went undefeated lost or Travis and they didn't make the right they didn't deserve to get in it's like that's that's inherently false they didn't put them in that's a fact but to say didn't deserve to be in sub-serve no because they were not one of the teams with the best chance to win an ashore champion
- 1:38:46[SPEAKER_02]: Under my view.
- 1:38:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I wasn't pissed when they let him out.
- 1:38:49[SPEAKER_02]: I was not upset when they kept him out because And my view is the teams that have the best chance to win the national championship not the most deserving Those are two different things.
- 1:38:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's why yeah, you made him staked by asking how many people are in the committee X amount of humans 20 odds X amount of humans who are probably greedy and rich to not be biased in any way
- 1:39:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes, yes, that that welcome to it.
- 1:39:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's how it goes and the thing is is a booze you a high State fan.
- 1:39:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have to worry about it because I'm freaking Ohio State.
- 1:39:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know I don't see this Clemson drop off like they had to stay goes and idiot, but I already know You're answering this, but if Ohio State went undefeated and they lost Julian Sane and then they were like Sorry, you're not getting the playoff.
- 1:39:25[SPEAKER_01]: How would you feel it?
- 1:39:25[SPEAKER_01]: I know your answers can be like well, guess what the wrong way better than the four states What although I don't know I'd have to go look at the
- 1:39:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how good Florida State team was that year.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they are compared.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but you know my point.
- 1:39:35[SPEAKER_01]: You would be pissed off.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_01]: I would sue the NCAA.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_02]: But and I know you're not going to believe me when I would say it.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_02]: I would understand it.
- 1:39:45[SPEAKER_02]: I would understand it.
- 1:39:46[SPEAKER_01]: But not for the states argument.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_02]: Amen.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_01]: You, but you didn't understand for the state.
- 1:39:50[SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
- 1:39:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying that if if that happened if I say it was undefeated in remember to in the 14 playoff.
- 1:39:58[SPEAKER_02]: That was not the 12 is the four right correct 12's different it is because of our opportunities, but my buddy if we were I'm about but I'm telling any I know you're not going to believe me.
- 1:40:08[SPEAKER_02]: I would understand it.
- 1:40:10[SPEAKER_02]: I would completely understand it.
- 1:40:11[SPEAKER_02]: If all I see was undefeated, there was only four spots when we lost Julian saying, or probably at this point.
- 1:40:15[SPEAKER_02]: Well, as long as I'm not fair, as long as I'm not, as long as I'm not, as long as I'm not.
- 1:40:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I know you acknowledge the favoritism.
- 1:40:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, it's so, it's so too cited for a lot of.
- 1:40:24[SPEAKER_02]: It is, and that's just, just accept it.
- 1:40:28[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, you don't want to, but it's like, you're just going to be better off.
- 1:40:30[SPEAKER_02]: You're just going to understand that, A, the committee's going to do whatever the hell they want.
- 1:40:32[SPEAKER_02]: And B, I mean, that's pretty much it.
- 1:40:35[SPEAKER_01]: They are going to be too face going to be too side.
- 1:40:37[SPEAKER_02]: And there's always going to be a bias towards teams.
- 1:40:41[SPEAKER_02]: Have they earned has Georgia earned a bias?
- 1:40:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, has Ohio State earned a bias?
- 1:40:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, there's Notre Dame, maybe, but they built this up.
- 1:40:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's about the fan base, about the money.
- 1:40:52[SPEAKER_02]: And it's about, again, I think the most deserving teams, right?
- 1:40:56[SPEAKER_02]: At the end of this, Texas might not be this all deserving.
- 1:40:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's my whole, that's how I approach this.
- 1:41:02[SPEAKER_02]: Where if I sit here today, quickly, I know we're way over,
- 1:41:08[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to APP, because we don't have the coach's pull right now, or the platform.
- 1:41:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to give me a team shot.
- 1:41:15[SPEAKER_02]: I've came where both can say, do they have a realistic chance in a national championship this season?
- 1:41:20[SPEAKER_02]: Ready?
- 1:41:21[SPEAKER_02]: Go.
- 1:41:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, first of all, I'm going to prep this this with.
- 1:41:24[SPEAKER_01]: I've not as nearly in tune with the colleges.
- 1:41:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
- 1:41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Good, you're a good barometer for me then.
- 1:41:30[SPEAKER_02]: Just can't you see the Georgia.
- 1:41:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:41:34[SPEAKER_02]: Notre Dame.
- 1:41:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is a chance to take a...
- 1:41:37[SPEAKER_02]: They have a realistic chance to hold and win the national championship.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, don't think anything about their path or who they're going to like, just there it seemed good enough to win a national championship.
- 1:41:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 1:41:47[SPEAKER_02]: Georgia.
- 1:41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:41:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:41:49[SPEAKER_02]: Notre Dame.
- 1:41:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:41:50[SPEAKER_02]: Ohio State.
- 1:41:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:41:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:41:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:41:56[SPEAKER_02]: Alabama.
- 1:41:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:41:57[SPEAKER_02]: Texas.
- 1:41:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:41:59[SPEAKER_02]: BYU.
- 1:42:02[SPEAKER_01]: That, okay, no.
- 1:42:04[SPEAKER_01]: Ole Miss, you have a, you have a great offensive line.
- 1:42:06[SPEAKER_01]: You have a young ascending quarterback into one of the best running backs in the country.
- 1:42:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's probably not like Texas Tech.
- 1:42:10[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm going to sit here and see how BYU is going.
- 1:42:12[SPEAKER_01]: You see L.A. Matt, if I, is that right, you go as undefeated and win the big team.
- 1:42:16[SPEAKER_02]: I got a seven.
- 1:42:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to ask.
- 1:42:17[SPEAKER_01]: I got to seven.
- 1:42:18[SPEAKER_01]: You're asking me to sit here and have big, I got seven.
- 1:42:19[SPEAKER_01]: If BYU goes undefeated in the big 12 and they get in the dance and I'm supposed to say they don't have a chance to win the national championship.
- 1:42:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to say they don't have a chance.
- 1:42:26[SPEAKER_01]: You're undefeated and you just made it to the dance.
- 1:42:28[SPEAKER_02]: They beat Utah Tech
- 1:42:30[SPEAKER_02]: Arizona TCU by a touchdown.
- 1:42:34[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what they do again.
- 1:42:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, this is the problem with the high I'm saying Ohio State fans because there's no good Bring it on bring it on bring it on bring it on why are we acting like BYU in this example is bowling green because I just saw this in the chat They said bowling green why are we acting like BYU's bowling green like it's some absurd idea that they're gonna win a match I'm not talking
- 1:42:52[SPEAKER_02]: about that.
- 1:42:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about the pinnacle of winning the championship.
- 1:42:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not talking about them winning the big 12.
- 1:42:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's making.
- 1:43:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:43:01[SPEAKER_02]: Indie is the worst person because making it versus they actually have a legit chance.
- 1:43:06[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't get to seven.
- 1:43:07[SPEAKER_02]: I will tell you this.
- 1:43:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know Texas can win a national championship after watching them play this path.
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_01]: Going into the playoffs last year, you wouldn't have said Carson Beckham.
- 1:43:16[SPEAKER_01]: I am a chance to win the national championship.
- 1:43:17[SPEAKER_02]: And they didn't.
- 1:43:18[SPEAKER_01]: But I get where you're saying they made it all the way there damn near beat in danna the best team We've seen in since maybe 2019 LSU.
- 1:43:25[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's I'm not saying we're just seeing like teams I'm just saying I get where you're saying I get where you're saying why you sexist tack Cincinnati's not even on that level.
- 1:43:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not gonna pretend there, but you guys But like this act is of everybody needs to be involved and yeah BC or you know be why you were like, oh, text They look come on
- 1:43:42[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 1:43:43[SPEAKER_02]: With 12, I'll tell you this, with 12, you have no excuse.
- 1:43:47[SPEAKER_02]: You should be putting those seams in there, you're 9 through 12.
- 1:43:51[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mind 12.
- 1:43:53[SPEAKER_02]: 16 is way too much, don't you think we started on 24?
- 1:43:56[SPEAKER_02]: 12 is fine.
- 1:43:57[SPEAKER_02]: 12 is good.
- 1:43:59[SPEAKER_02]: That would put in UCLA who, by the way, is not going to have Nico Imali over.
- 1:44:06[SPEAKER_02]: for the rest of the year.
- 1:44:08[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing, Jordan Travis.
- 1:44:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I don't understand.
- 1:44:10[SPEAKER_01]: I need you to explain this to me.
- 1:44:11[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 1:44:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I've never understood.
- 1:44:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's probably reasons and maybe I can get convinced.
- 1:44:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure you have a good reason.
- 1:44:17[SPEAKER_01]: But why are people so against expanding the playoff?
- 1:44:20[SPEAKER_02]: Because number one, I don't like that is then going to cost you conference championships.
- 1:44:28[SPEAKER_02]: I hate that.
- 1:44:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right.
- 1:44:29[SPEAKER_02]: Number one.
- 1:44:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 1:44:30[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm there, they're pointless.
- 1:44:31[SPEAKER_02]: Number two, you are deluding the pool.
- 1:44:35[SPEAKER_02]: Again, if you subscribe to how I feel and you run through that, you really only come to six to eight teams, but then you are just introducing injury or flukiness to what you don't know, but you got to play the game, strike it, but it's more injury.
- 1:44:49[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not like you're adding games.
- 1:44:50[SPEAKER_01]: You could cut into the regular season or something, and then that's what I was inherently in your last problem.
- 1:44:55[SPEAKER_02]: I would, I would cutting into regular season.
- 1:44:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think right.
- 1:44:58[SPEAKER_01]: Why do I care?
- 1:44:59[SPEAKER_02]: you don't want to watch a high-state Texas.
- 1:45:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's the point by expanding by expanding the playoff.
- 1:45:07[SPEAKER_02]: No, by expanding too much expansion then inherently devalues.
- 1:45:13[SPEAKER_02]: Two values.
- 1:45:14[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you values what?
- 1:45:15[SPEAKER_02]: Your values are right.
- 1:45:16[SPEAKER_02]: There's season.
- 1:45:16[SPEAKER_02]: Two little.
- 1:45:18[SPEAKER_02]: When you had four, what?
- 1:45:20[SPEAKER_02]: You would not want to play big games because you had the fear of losing and then you be kept out.
- 1:45:24[SPEAKER_02]: You go to 16 or 24 when everybody makes it, I know you would love to believe.
- 1:45:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sure.
- 1:45:30[SPEAKER_02]: Let's play Texas.
- 1:45:31[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't hurt you.
- 1:45:32[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 1:45:33[SPEAKER_01]: You don't gain anything by playing Texas.
- 1:45:35[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 1:45:35[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing.
- 1:45:36[SPEAKER_01]: Why are we acting like 16 when you sit 16 to 24 teams is letting everybody in?
- 1:45:42[SPEAKER_02]: If you went off the AP pulled you know the 2014 that would make it would be guess what the SMU Yeah, they'd lose in the noisy state would be that wire.
- 1:45:50[SPEAKER_01]: They lose in the first round anyway We get it.
- 1:45:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying they're gonna win, but why is that such a bad thing even if they get curb stuff you're right because then that's inherently what it's better than a high-state curb stopping ball state right That's what you're getting that is you can less than some of these games number one those games are never gonna be taking away because they aren't important about the money and the and the athletic conference and all that
- 1:46:09[SPEAKER_02]: I get we in in and it does come back some way to discuss earlier.
- 1:46:12[SPEAKER_02]: You do need to separate.
- 1:46:13[SPEAKER_02]: P4 should be different from everybody else, right?
- 1:46:16[SPEAKER_02]: But it's not the world that we live in right now.
- 1:46:18[SPEAKER_02]: So like this Iowa who played an okay game against Ohio State, I will tell you.
- 1:46:23[SPEAKER_01]: Iowa goes undefeated the rest of the way 111.
- 1:46:26[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say they missed the big 10 championship game on some fluggit.
- 1:46:28[SPEAKER_02]: Put him in.
- 1:46:29[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 1:46:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love him to be in there.
- 1:46:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_02]: Do I think they have a chance to win a national championship?
- 1:46:35[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely not.
- 1:46:36[SPEAKER_02]: But put him in, I've got no problem with that.
- 1:46:39[SPEAKER_02]: Do it at 16.
- 1:46:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's too much.
- 1:46:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's too much and I say that again as a booze you a high state fan who doesn't even It's to worry about the 15 seed because I just always think that they're gonna be up there And I'll tell you I just don't think I will I just think we're so I think we're I don't think we're away from it But I think we are miles away from how it used to be in terms of cut and dry these are the best 10 teams in the country No, it seems the country.
- 1:47:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, it's still it's been three weeks.
- 1:47:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's so different.
- 1:47:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's still the standard get it, but like
- 1:47:06[SPEAKER_02]: Not I get it.
- 1:47:07[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 1:47:07[SPEAKER_02]: And that's again, the committee having the overarking ruling power for better for worse.
- 1:47:12[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing we do about it.
- 1:47:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's the issue is that there's nothing you can do about it and they're not going to stop expansion because money rules all and that is again, the conferences, the NCAA and that committee don't get fired because they picked the wrong national championship.
- 1:47:32[SPEAKER_02]: They get fired when they don't meet their budget.
- 1:47:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious Matt, and the answer is probably obvious.
- 1:47:39[SPEAKER_01]: But do you think, and it's fine, either way, do you think if Ohio State wasn't good, you would have still been pushed to be a fan of them when you grow up?
- 1:47:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm glad you brought that up as soon.
- 1:47:50[SPEAKER_02]: You were born on Ohio like I was.
- 1:47:53[SPEAKER_02]: There's just something, and I try to explain this to people too.
- 1:47:55[SPEAKER_02]: When you are born in this state, there's just something different about Ohio State.
- 1:48:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I had, you mentioned your friend.
- 1:48:02[SPEAKER_02]: I, one of my very good friends in college, went to and graduated from the University of Toledo.
- 1:48:07[SPEAKER_02]: Toledo played Ohio State at Cleveland Brown Stadium.
- 1:48:10[SPEAKER_02]: He went to that game, wearing a buck adjoers.
- 1:48:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's disgusting.
- 1:48:13[SPEAKER_02]: As a graduate of the University of Toledo.
- 1:48:15[SPEAKER_02]: Because there is something about being born in this state that you root for Ohio State.
- 1:48:21[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't mean you couldn't go to Cincinnati or Kent or wherever else.
- 1:48:23[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to school you went to when they're playing.
- 1:48:25[SPEAKER_02]: But it's just more of like,
