- 1:08Speaker 1: Deacon Roman Harbor without rolling. What's up, Peanut? And you
- 1:13Speaker 1: don't always have me Sometimes I actually go a little
- 1:16Speaker 1: bit of a solo act on this thing you do
- 1:19Speaker 1: you do? Last week we had Eric Wood, the former
- 1:22Speaker 1: Buffalo Bill Center, great dude, amazing man, of Faith. He
- 1:27Speaker 1: has his own podcast, really really great dude. And also
- 1:30Speaker 1: he gave me a little bit of info, Peanut. He said,
- 1:33Speaker 1: you know a Roman right down, three things you're thankful
- 1:36Speaker 1: for every morning that you wake up. You know what
- 1:38Speaker 1: I've been. I've implemented this in my life, Peanut. I
- 1:40Speaker 1: haven't been a bad thing. How has that been going?
- 1:42Speaker 1: It's been going pretty good. The only thing that's bad
- 1:45Speaker 1: is that I put it on a dry roy A
- 1:46Speaker 1: race board in front of my mirror in my bathroom
- 1:49Speaker 1: and it wasn't like dry racepen. So it's kind of
- 1:52Speaker 1: been stuck there for like three days now. All right, Well,
- 1:55Speaker 1: look how about this? How about all the listeners out there.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I want to say personally, thank you, Charles, and I do.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you, thank you. Could you continue to
- 2:04Speaker 1: spread the word about this podcast, give us, you know,

- 2:17Speaker 1: app or wherever else you listen to make sure you
- 2:20Speaker 1: click subscribe to this podcast. We're gonna keep giving you
- 2:23Speaker 1: more and more information, more and more former players talking
- 2:26Speaker 1: about they're all second acts and really diving into so
- 2:30Speaker 1: much of their uh these former players, great lives to
- 2:33Speaker 1: all those listening right now. Um, we don't have any
- 2:36Speaker 1: guests today. We're gonna We're gonna it's just gonna be
- 2:39Speaker 1: Roman and I. We're the guests. We're gonna attempt to
- 2:43Speaker 1: interview each other one not difficult, but I know a
- 2:47Speaker 1: lot about them, so I'm going to try to pill
- 2:50Speaker 1: back some of the onion and get him to open
- 2:54Speaker 1: up about some things that I possibly don't know. So
- 2:56Speaker 1: we're gonna treat this like a normal a normal episode,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and Roman I will be interviewing each other us all, man,
- 3:03Speaker 1: don't don't be whispering man making it all weird. Bro,
- 3:06Speaker 1: It's good. We just I'm not other second acts we have.
- 3:10Speaker 1: We've asked all the questions, we haven't answered any. So
- 3:13Speaker 1: I think it's a good time to like kind of
- 3:15Speaker 1: dive in. Peanut. Let's do this thing. Bro, you want
- 3:17Speaker 1: to so let me, let me give your let me.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I'll kick it off at first, like we do with everybody.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I gotta reach your resume. So you are second round
- 3:25Speaker 1: draft picked out of University of Alabama. Played eleven years
- 3:30Speaker 1: in the NFL. He made two Pro Bowls, been in
- 3:32Speaker 1: two Super Bowls, you're one in one. UM. You won
- 3:35Speaker 1: the Super Bowl in two thousand nine with the Saints. UH.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Recently inducted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame. UH.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And now you're a broadcaster with the SEC Network and
- 3:48Speaker 1: someone of a professional golfer in your own mind, that
- 3:52Speaker 1: is that is one of my goals, is that I
- 3:54Speaker 1: just want to make the cut on the Senior Tour,
- 3:57Speaker 1: Like that's it. So I got to him like fifty
- 3:59Speaker 1: six ext seventy. But and the best thing about making
- 4:03Speaker 1: the cut is that there is no cut. So if
- 4:05Speaker 1: I just show up, I'm gonna make the cut. All right,
- 4:08Speaker 1: let me read peanuts resume and you ready for this peanut.
- 4:12Speaker 1: He played thirteen seasons in the NFL. He was also
- 4:17Speaker 1: a two time Pro Bowler and made a first team
- 4:20Speaker 1: All Pro in two thousand and twelve. He played in
- 4:23Speaker 1: two Super Bowls. He won none. It's okay, all right,
- 4:27Speaker 1: it happens. It wasn't his fault in He was the
- 4:31Speaker 1: Walter Payton Man of the Year, which is one of
- 4:33Speaker 1: the best honors you can get throughout the NFL. Everybody
- 4:36Speaker 1: knows about it. You actually get a special shield on
- 4:39Speaker 1: your jersey from that moment on to carry on your legacy.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Not everybody has that, so that's a special one right there.
- 4:45Speaker 1: He's the creator of the peanut punch. He a k
- 4:49Speaker 1: A now is a turnover liaison, I would say, Um,
- 4:54Speaker 1: he kind of goes throughout the league and kind of
- 4:56Speaker 1: helps teams create turnovers or preaches to them about that.
- 4:59Speaker 1: He He's also in the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
- 5:03Speaker 1: That's really cool. Now he's an international man of mystery
- 5:07Speaker 1: who's done TV. He's had a book written about him,
- 5:10Speaker 1: which we have in our house right now for our kids.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And he runs the Charles Tilman Cornerstone Foundation. So now
- 5:17Speaker 1: that we got that all done, we got some good resumes. Uh.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I gotta ask one question though, Yes, something that was
- 5:23Speaker 1: on your resume to Super Bowl losses? Which one hurt more? Ah?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Probably the second one because I didn't I didn't get
- 5:31Speaker 1: a chance to play in it. And I really think
- 5:34Speaker 1: that I'm not gonna say I was a missing piece
- 5:36Speaker 1: to us winning super Bowl fifty, but I really think
- 5:40Speaker 1: that I think I could have helped, because there's no
- 5:43Speaker 1: doubt you could have help, you know what I'm saying.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I think I could have. I think I could have helped,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and it it hurt more because I wasn't actually on
- 5:50Speaker 1: the field. I torm a c L the last game
- 5:53Speaker 1: of the season. But if I could do it all
- 5:55Speaker 1: over again, I wouldn't I wouldn't change anything, you know,
- 5:57Speaker 1: I was. I partially tord me eight c L. I
- 6:01Speaker 1: don't know. Halfway through the season, sat out three weeks
- 6:04Speaker 1: and just said, you know what, this is a great team.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm rolling the dice. I know it's partially torn. It
- 6:09Speaker 1: will never heal. I'll have to get it healed or
- 6:11Speaker 1: prepared at one point. I'm an rolling dice. And I'm
- 6:15Speaker 1: proud enough to say that I actually played five games
- 6:18Speaker 1: with a partially torn a c L in the National
- 6:20Speaker 1: Football League and I still held it down, punching out balls,
- 6:24Speaker 1: getting interceptions like I still was able to do my job.
- 6:26Speaker 1: And I literally put everything on the line for that
- 6:30Speaker 1: season for us in Carolina. And great group of guys,
- 6:34Speaker 1: great group of men, you and I, uh, just the
- 6:37Speaker 1: the entire city of Charlotte. That was a That was
- 6:40Speaker 1: a very special year for myself and my family. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: it's a good time. It was great. I got to
- 6:44Speaker 1: meet your family, for really the first time in that
- 6:47Speaker 1: one season that you came here. Our wives hit it off.
- 6:49Speaker 1: We're great friends, still continue to be great friends. You know.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I remember when you partially tourn your a c L,
- 6:56Speaker 1: which there is no partially for all those out there,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you can't partially tear a cl like well, you can,
- 7:01Speaker 1: but it's a torn a c L. At the end
- 7:02Speaker 1: of the day, you were a true warrior. I couldn't
- 7:05Speaker 1: believe that you actually came back and played some games
- 7:07Speaker 1: after you had a huge knee brace on and just
- 7:11Speaker 1: the fact of, uh, you continue to battle through for
- 7:13Speaker 1: that man. It really meant the world to that team,
- 7:15Speaker 1: to us as a as a group, and uh, I
- 7:17Speaker 1: got a better understanding of who you are. And I
- 7:19Speaker 1: just want the people to know that I didn't think
- 7:21Speaker 1: you're gonna say Carolina, but since you did, I just
- 7:24Speaker 1: want to put that out there that my man battled
- 7:26Speaker 1: through it and nobody knew until it was all dead.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And God, why don't we uh tell tell everyone how
- 7:32Speaker 1: you and I I feel like this is a date.
- 7:35Speaker 1: This feels so weird, but like how because I was
- 7:37Speaker 1: gonna say how our relationships started, but that sounds that
- 7:42Speaker 1: sounds so wrong. Our friendship started really literally because we
- 7:47Speaker 1: were in the same small group breakout group at p
- 7:50Speaker 1: a O, which is this Christian conference where the NFL
- 7:52Speaker 1: puts on and well outside the NFL, but it's most
- 7:55Speaker 1: the NFL guys. And then we bringing all these speakers
- 7:58Speaker 1: and singing it. It was really great, and all of
- 8:01Speaker 1: a sudden, the conversation started opening up, and I knew
- 8:05Speaker 1: who you were, but I never got a chance to
- 8:07Speaker 1: meet you, and it was really good to just lean
- 8:11Speaker 1: on you and lean on some other couples right there,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and we started to build a friendship. And and then
- 8:17Speaker 1: from there we really didn't talk a lot, and then
- 8:19Speaker 1: all of a sudden you became my teammate and we
- 8:21Speaker 1: just like hit it off. Were the two older guys
- 8:24Speaker 1: in the room. And the funny thing about it all
- 8:26Speaker 1: was that Um Peanut was like the happy, go lucky
- 8:30Speaker 1: person I was say in the room, like always joking,
- 8:33Speaker 1: kept everything loose. He had the corners, I had the safeties.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And that's what we did. And Um and Me and
- 8:39Speaker 1: Peanut hung out and became thick at Thieves bro. We
- 8:43Speaker 1: hung out all the time. I truly, truly our friendship
- 8:47Speaker 1: has only grown since then, and our families as well,
- 8:50Speaker 1: Like all our families know each other and they all
- 8:52Speaker 1: hang out and they all get along. It's great, all
- 8:54Speaker 1: the kids, everybody. So after that season, I had to
- 8:57Speaker 1: call it quitz. Before you get it there, I want
- 9:00Speaker 1: to ask you one more thing about this season, and
- 9:03Speaker 1: that is that I want I want one or two
- 9:07Speaker 1: great stories from that season, because I don't think people
- 9:09Speaker 1: understand that that Panthers team was a team that kind
- 9:14Speaker 1: of like took the NFL by storm. Uh. They we
- 9:17Speaker 1: burst on the scene. We weren't even supposed to be
- 9:19Speaker 1: that good. We weren't that good the year before. We
- 9:21Speaker 1: did limp into the playoffs and won a playoff game,
- 9:23Speaker 1: but with seven, eight and one and then go up. Uh.
- 9:27Speaker 1: We traded for Jared Allen at one point in the season.
- 9:29Speaker 1: So we had like this great group of like older
- 9:31Speaker 1: guys who really did some cool stuff. And so I
- 9:34Speaker 1: want to end it was a funny team. Everybody remembers
- 9:37Speaker 1: Cam Newton dabbing, and but we had the whole world
- 9:40Speaker 1: dabbing at one point in time. Tell me like one
- 9:42Speaker 1: or two hilarious stories from that season from that locker room,
- 9:46Speaker 1: because it's it's plenty to go along. Um, the alligator. Oh,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I was gonna say if you didn't bring up that
- 9:52Speaker 1: when I was gonna do that one that I still
- 9:54Speaker 1: have video of that. So our office of coordinator Mike Mike,
- 10:00Speaker 1: he tells us a story about the saving two Dolphins
- 10:03Speaker 1: with his old man, Don Shula, and to sum it
- 10:06Speaker 1: all up, someone that put an alligator and Don Shula's
- 10:11Speaker 1: uh shower for the seventy two Dolphins. I had that
- 10:14Speaker 1: perfect season, right, He tells us the same story. We
- 10:18Speaker 1: lose the game we lost to Atlanta, so now we're
- 10:20Speaker 1: like thirteen and one or fourteen in one. Excuse me.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Everyone got super uptightened, you know, the building, the coaches,
- 10:28Speaker 1: the players. So I went out and bought this this
- 10:32Speaker 1: fake alligator, and I said, you know what, I'm gonna
- 10:35Speaker 1: loosing everybody up. I throw this alligator and Coach Rivera's
- 10:39Speaker 1: locker and I get there like five that morning, fast forward.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, and Curtis like, yo, I just put
- 10:47Speaker 1: this fake alligator in Rivera's Leachico's locker. Man, it's gonna
- 10:50Speaker 1: be hilarious. And all of a sudden, you see Coach
- 10:53Speaker 1: Rivera walk around the corner and he's better footing his
- 10:56Speaker 1: shirts side he's always got his shirt tucked in. And
- 10:58Speaker 1: he comes around the corner looking like Edward James almost
- 11:01Speaker 1: from Damn, Stand and Deliver. And he starts walking towards
- 11:04Speaker 1: us and he was like, you're here, and I was like, oh,
- 11:09Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna I got scared. It was like
- 11:11Speaker 1: you know when your old man tell you something, you
- 11:12Speaker 1: get scared, like you in trouble. And I'm I'm at this.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm thirty four years old. I'm a grown ass man.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But I was nervous. And he walks up to me
- 11:20Speaker 1: and I was like, I need to lie. Did you
- 11:22Speaker 1: put that alligator in my my shower? And I was like, yes, yes, sir,
- 11:27Speaker 1: and he was like, God, damn man, that thing scared
- 11:30Speaker 1: the hell out of me. No, you should have recorded
- 11:33Speaker 1: that thing. And then he proceeds to tell us he
- 11:36Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I got I was finicking in the shower.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Was like, I got naked and then I turned the
- 11:41Speaker 1: light on and then I go on the shower and
- 11:43Speaker 1: I see that thing and he goes. I just screamed
- 11:45Speaker 1: and threw my towel on the alligator and I literally
- 11:49Speaker 1: just ran out. And then he was like it had
- 11:51Speaker 1: to be peanuts and looks man. I still got videos
- 11:53Speaker 1: from because that alligator continued to travel along that day
- 11:56Speaker 1: and got like three or four other people got Wilkes,
- 11:58Speaker 1: got Josh Norman. I got all those on video. Too
- 12:01Speaker 1: bad we didn't get Rivera on tape, but everybody else
- 12:04Speaker 1: got got I'm glad you shared that story. But all
- 12:07Speaker 1: that being said, Peanut, when did you know it was
- 12:09Speaker 1: time to retire? Like, how did you know? I know
- 12:12Speaker 1: you were injured your last year? Was it because of
- 12:15Speaker 1: the injury? You just like, you know what Super Bowl loss?
- 12:18Speaker 1: I can't keep dragging my family here and there? What
- 12:21Speaker 1: was it? Yeah? Um, I definitely the knee the town
- 12:26Speaker 1: a c L year, thirty four or A thirteen season.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I was thirty four years old, thirty five whatever. There
- 12:32Speaker 1: was no way another team was gonna bring me back,
- 12:34Speaker 1: so I didn't even attempt to to try. I was
- 12:39Speaker 1: already had someone of a bad knee anyway, you know,
- 12:43Speaker 1: going into my third team season when I was in Carolina.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So it was yeah, I just that was That was
- 12:50Speaker 1: when I knew. The thing about retiring, though, is you
- 12:53Speaker 1: never retire when you want to. There's only a group
- 12:58Speaker 1: of a few individuals who can retire when they want to.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And what I mean by that is, had I not
- 13:04Speaker 1: turned my a c L, had I been healthy and
- 13:07Speaker 1: we won Super Bowl fifty, no doubt out of retired
- 13:11Speaker 1: the people that retire the way they want to, in
- 13:13Speaker 1: my opinion, are the ones A lot of the ones
- 13:16Speaker 1: they went. You know, ray Lewis is a prime example.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He I think he did it on his own terms. Um,
- 13:22Speaker 1: John Elway, John Elway, Peyton Manning, you know what I'm saying,
- 13:27Speaker 1: Like that was how I envisioned going out winning a championship,
- 13:30Speaker 1: and just like you know what, it took me thirteen years,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I finally got one. I'm out and just rot off
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the sunset. I wish I would have been able
- 13:38Speaker 1: to do that, but unfortunately, Father Tom and injuries, they
- 13:41Speaker 1: play a large role in in this. But what about you, though,
- 13:45Speaker 1: when when did you feel you knew it was time
- 13:47Speaker 1: to retire because you went on, you went back to
- 13:50Speaker 1: New Orleans, um and played another year. Right, Well, I
- 13:54Speaker 1: was ready to retire after the Super Bowl in Carolina.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I thought we were just gonna win and then I
- 13:58Speaker 1: could just you know, right off in the sunset, we
- 14:01Speaker 1: me and you're holding hands, just you know, putting the
- 14:04Speaker 1: helmets down together. We were just gonna be out. I
- 14:06Speaker 1: didn't want to because I played ten years at that point,
- 14:08Speaker 1: I didn't care about much more than that. I thought
- 14:11Speaker 1: it was gonna be a perfect ending, and I go
- 14:14Speaker 1: out on my own terms, like you said. But then
- 14:16Speaker 1: we lost the game. Uh, and I just in my mind,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I didn't think God. God was telling me like, Okay,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I don't think this is it for you. And and and
- 14:25Speaker 1: UM like I played this game since I've been in
- 14:27Speaker 1: the fourth grade, and like a Super Bowl loss has
- 14:29Speaker 1: gotta be my last time I'm on the actual field
- 14:32Speaker 1: plan on the grass. I didn't. I just that would
- 14:35Speaker 1: have been a terrible way to go for me, for
- 14:37Speaker 1: as much as I put into this game. So I
- 14:40Speaker 1: kind of just kept working out. Then my former teammate,
- 14:43Speaker 1: uh Will Smith got killed that offseason, and so I
- 14:47Speaker 1: was back in funeral rules and all that other stuff
- 14:49Speaker 1: and being back around the Saints organization for the first time,
- 14:52Speaker 1: uh kind of heavily, and uh Sean Payton started talking
- 14:55Speaker 1: to me and you know, wondering like what I was
- 14:57Speaker 1: gonna do. Did I you know, possibility they be coming back?
- 15:00Speaker 1: He had a plan or vision or something. I'm like,
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't really know. I don't want to go back,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and uh but I bet the bullet and I did.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And it was the greatest thing for me, just because
- 15:09Speaker 1: I got to go back home. I got to re
- 15:11Speaker 1: kindled some some great relationships with people back in that
- 15:14Speaker 1: building and back in the organization, and because of that,
- 15:17Speaker 1: it all turned out the way it was supposed to anyway.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So and then I went back Carolina. I mean, I'm sorry,
- 15:23Speaker 1: did you leave New Orleans? M yes, I did. I left.
- 15:27Speaker 1: They they had drafted a guy the year before and
- 15:30Speaker 1: then they wanted him to start being playing and I
- 15:33Speaker 1: was hurt. And so it's not like he really beat
- 15:35Speaker 1: me out, you know, he just kind of put him in.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And I felt very dispected after giving the organization eight
- 15:41Speaker 1: years of everything that you have, and then you know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: it is like you said, father time is who it
- 15:45Speaker 1: is and people upstairs make decisions and and then they
- 15:48Speaker 1: make the move and then I go and you know,
- 15:50Speaker 1: beat them three out of four times. In Carolina, we
- 15:52Speaker 1: win the division twice. It was great. It was more
- 15:55Speaker 1: of like the biggest like you know, middle finger, Yeah, slap,
- 15:59Speaker 1: slap right back, catch you, you know. So, but don't
- 16:02Speaker 1: you think when you you play a former team, you
- 16:05Speaker 1: have more motivation. Oh thousand percent, you do. I mean
- 16:09Speaker 1: you want to be players like, man, I'm gonna show y'all, y'all.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Never should have let me go, y'all. Should that gave
- 16:13Speaker 1: me the money? Or you should have let me start? Yeah? Um,
- 16:19Speaker 1: But you know that was all part of it. And
- 16:21Speaker 1: you know, you learned how to let bigones be biogones
- 16:23Speaker 1: at the end of the day and then you just
- 16:24Speaker 1: keep it moving. And so being able to go back
- 16:27Speaker 1: was really cool, peanup, because you know, it was like
- 16:29Speaker 1: the fifth year anniversary for the New Orleans Saints that year,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and I was one of like three players that was
- 16:35Speaker 1: like on the all fifty team that were still currently playing.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And so, you know, for my parents to get to
- 16:41Speaker 1: go down on the field with my wife and my
- 16:44Speaker 1: kids and be celebrated, it was really cool because my
- 16:46Speaker 1: wife was like, your dad, I've never seen him smile
- 16:48Speaker 1: so hard when he was on the field getting getting
- 16:51Speaker 1: recognized with all these other great players. So it's really
- 16:53Speaker 1: cool to let everybody else do that. Now. I love
- 16:57Speaker 1: about our careers. Let's talk about the after of the career.
- 17:00Speaker 1: What kind of happens, Peanut, and that is the transition
- 17:04Speaker 1: and so why do you think so many players have
- 17:07Speaker 1: such a hard time transitioning from the game, uh once
- 17:12Speaker 1: they retire. Um. I know just the other day on
- 17:15Speaker 1: p T I Book of my father was saying that
- 17:18Speaker 1: he saw the game as a means to an end
- 17:21Speaker 1: and said that the money. Once the money didn't make
- 17:23Speaker 1: sense for him anymore, it was time to go. So
- 17:25Speaker 1: for him it was monetarily. What is that transition period
- 17:28Speaker 1: like and why is it so tough? You believe? I
- 17:31Speaker 1: think for everyone that's different. Uh. I think at the
- 17:34Speaker 1: same time, for me, I felt like I was institutionalized
- 17:39Speaker 1: in the sense of I've been doing it since seventh grade,
- 17:43Speaker 1: so I was I had this schedule for so long
- 17:48Speaker 1: and I've been used to that schedule. And then my
- 17:51Speaker 1: last play in the NFL was me falling down on
- 17:54Speaker 1: like tearing my a c L and that was that
- 17:57Speaker 1: was like really difficult, Like Dan, that's literally the last play,
- 18:02Speaker 1: and so fast forward you transitioning, Um, I think I
- 18:07Speaker 1: struggled in the sense of I just didn't want to
- 18:09Speaker 1: be done, Like I still felt like I had more
- 18:12Speaker 1: to give, and I was hyper competitive, super competitive. I
- 18:17Speaker 1: still wanted to compete. I still wanted to play football
- 18:20Speaker 1: and I couldn't. So my mistake was when I transitioned
- 18:26Speaker 1: from league to regular life. Um, I didn't give myself
- 18:31Speaker 1: enough time off, no time to decompress. I didn't give
- 18:35Speaker 1: myself any time to basically grieve my injury. Yeah, I
- 18:38Speaker 1: didn't give myself enough time to just like celebrate my
- 18:42Speaker 1: career and just take time and just just kind of
- 18:45Speaker 1: come down. I know, for some guys and UM, when
- 18:48Speaker 1: they do come back from like overseas, they do a
- 18:50Speaker 1: tour or deployment. And I'm not speaking for everyone who
- 18:54Speaker 1: who has been overseas and and and been on UM
- 18:57Speaker 1: deployments or whatnot, but from a few guys that I've
- 19:00Speaker 1: talked to, they need a little bit of time to decompress,
- 19:03Speaker 1: to kind of get adjusted back to the regular world,
- 19:05Speaker 1: because your mind is on something else when you're overseas,
- 19:09Speaker 1: when you're in the sandbox. But then when you come
- 19:11Speaker 1: back here, it's I think people expect you just to
- 19:16Speaker 1: be normal and just step back into the step back
- 19:19Speaker 1: into society and and and just be normal. And I
- 19:23Speaker 1: think that was what I did. And I should have
- 19:25Speaker 1: just taken a step back, meaning take a year off,
- 19:29Speaker 1: take six months and just figure out what do I
- 19:32Speaker 1: really want to do? What are your passionate? Yeah, and
- 19:36Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't do that because I felt like
- 19:38Speaker 1: I just had to keep going and keep going and
- 19:39Speaker 1: keep doing things. Why do you? Why do you? Why
- 19:42Speaker 1: do you feel like you have to just keep going
- 19:44Speaker 1: and keep going and keep going. I'm wired that way,
- 19:47Speaker 1: Like I'm I'm high energy, high sprung. I don't want
- 19:49Speaker 1: to sit down. I don't want to sit still. And
- 19:54Speaker 1: that was probably my biggest mistake, was like I probably
- 19:57Speaker 1: felt like I should have just sat down for or
- 20:00Speaker 1: six months to a year or just take just take
- 20:03Speaker 1: the season, just take that season off and just just decompressed.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Just chill, figure out what you really want to do.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Hang out with the wife, hang out with the kids. Uh,
- 20:12Speaker 1: be be the stay at home dad. You know, I'm good.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'm I'm good now. But I think because I was
- 20:18Speaker 1: just so go, go, go, go go, it hurt me
- 20:21Speaker 1: in a in a lot of ways. And if I could,
- 20:24Speaker 1: whoever is listening, that would be my wife. For for
- 20:27Speaker 1: someone who played a long career, it's just take yeah, man,
- 20:31Speaker 1: take six months and just figure out life and like,
- 20:35Speaker 1: all right, now, what's next. I've I've had this amazing career.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Now what do I really want to do? And I
- 20:41Speaker 1: think that's why I'm I'm envious of you because you
- 20:44Speaker 1: actually you actually did that. You took how long did
- 20:48Speaker 1: you take off? Sixty five days to the day, I said,
- 20:51Speaker 1: I'm three hundred and sixty five days to the day. Yeah,
- 20:55Speaker 1: I did absolutely nothing. Whatever I didn't do. I wanted
- 20:57Speaker 1: to do something that day and I didn't get it done.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Just do the next day. It's okay. That was literally
- 21:02Speaker 1: my but I've never been like that though, you know,
- 21:05Speaker 1: And that's that's why it was hard. It was hard,
- 21:08Speaker 1: but I promised myself this is what I wanted to do.
- 21:11Speaker 1: And I had people ask me, why don't you try
- 21:13Speaker 1: and do this? Why don't you do this? And I'm like,
- 21:15Speaker 1: I'm taking through in sixty five days and do nothing.
- 21:18Speaker 1: But the person that gave me that vice was the
- 21:21Speaker 1: GM of the New Orleans Saints, Mickey Loomis. He told
- 21:23Speaker 1: me that he said, before you do anything, room man,
- 21:26Speaker 1: you need to make sure you take time. You need
- 21:27Speaker 1: to decompress, like get away, like don't do anything, especially
- 21:32Speaker 1: if you can afford to take the time, don't do anything.
- 21:35Speaker 1: So what I what I really want to get to
- 21:38Speaker 1: is um one of the old school savvy, that's the
- 21:41Speaker 1: wisdom that you have, very knowledgeable about the game of football.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Why the hell do you get in the TV instead
- 21:49Speaker 1: of coaching? UM, Well, that means I get to share
- 21:53Speaker 1: with more people. I honestly, UM, you know as a coach. Um,
- 21:58Speaker 1: my dad's a coach, So coaches in my blood. I
- 22:02Speaker 1: don't deny that. And I know I could be a
- 22:04Speaker 1: good coach, but I don't want to give continue to
- 22:07Speaker 1: give football my all, my whole, my whole heart and
- 22:10Speaker 1: my emotions because I know what it takes to win,
- 22:13Speaker 1: and I know you got to be all in and
- 22:15Speaker 1: I know when I lose what I'm like. I'm not
- 22:18Speaker 1: always pleasant. I understand them. I'm not perfect. But for me,
- 22:24Speaker 1: just to be able to talk the game has been
- 22:25Speaker 1: so much more pleasant because I get to be around
- 22:27Speaker 1: the game all the time, especially being and you know,
- 22:30Speaker 1: working with the SEC network. I'm I'm talking college football
- 22:33Speaker 1: all the time, and so college is just a gateway
- 22:36Speaker 1: to the NFL, and you know, I get to be
- 22:38Speaker 1: around the game, I get to travel on the weekends.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I got an awesome gig with the network, and it's
- 22:43Speaker 1: been really cool. But I always believe that the media
- 22:48Speaker 1: was the enemy. Like that's what I was taught. You know,
- 22:50Speaker 1: you gotta be careful what you say to the me.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You gotta be careful with what you give them, because
- 22:55Speaker 1: they're going to change it and put it in twisted
- 22:56Speaker 1: however they want to, and that's not who you want
- 22:59Speaker 1: to be with. They were like the dark side, and
- 23:02Speaker 1: now I'm part of the dark side. So it's a
- 23:04Speaker 1: little Some of them are evil, I know most of
- 23:06Speaker 1: them are not evil. Most most of them are not evil.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I will apologize to all those reporters. But when you're
- 23:16Speaker 1: a young twenty two year old in the league, you're
- 23:18Speaker 1: you're taught like they are the enemy. They stay away,
- 23:24Speaker 1: don't tell him nothing. As I got older, I got
- 23:28Speaker 1: to know a few of a few media personnel in Chicago,
- 23:34Speaker 1: and it was like this person had my number and
- 23:37Speaker 1: like I could give them an interview but it was
- 23:40Speaker 1: real and they could critique me professionally and it didn't
- 23:43Speaker 1: make it personal or anything like that. But there was
- 23:47Speaker 1: there's there's a few people that are in it for themselves.
- 23:50Speaker 1: My only thing is that I can be critical. But
- 23:54Speaker 1: as long as I'm I'm fair, right, I'm fair and
- 23:56Speaker 1: I'm honest, and as long as I tells up from
- 23:59Speaker 1: what my I see, then like, how can you be mad?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Fans take it personal, but players and coaches don't. There's
- 24:05Speaker 1: just so much better about all that. We got something
- 24:08Speaker 1: in common with Louisiana, right. I went to school there,
- 24:12Speaker 1: you played there professionally, and recently I got inducted to
- 24:15Speaker 1: the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, and then you got
- 24:18Speaker 1: inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame. I was mad
- 24:24Speaker 1: that I didn't actually get a ticket to the to
- 24:27Speaker 1: the event because I wanted to see you at the event.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I went to the I went to the party that
- 24:31Speaker 1: you had, and it was dope. Had an amazing time,
- 24:34Speaker 1: amazing I held your son the whole night. I put
- 24:37Speaker 1: him to sleep. I just rocked him to sleep. Um,
- 24:40Speaker 1: tell me about that night. Tell me about that experience, dude.
- 24:43Speaker 1: It was cool, And the best thing about it was
- 24:46Speaker 1: that it was a celebration of me and that all
- 24:49Speaker 1: my accomplishments and that I actually felt appreciated by the
- 24:52Speaker 1: organization that turned their back on me. And then I
- 24:54Speaker 1: got to come back three years later and kind of
- 24:58Speaker 1: let bygones be bygones and then all of a sudden
- 25:00Speaker 1: and they give you your flowers, right, And so I
- 25:02Speaker 1: was very appreciative that that I got to go in
- 25:05Speaker 1: while I'm still um here. Also, my kids get a
- 25:09Speaker 1: little bit older and they actually understand it and they
- 25:11Speaker 1: appreciate it, and they actually really really thought it was cool.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Like my son, for my older son, for the first time,
- 25:16Speaker 1: I was like, Dad, you're like good to him. I'm
- 25:21Speaker 1: just bad because he never got to see me play ball.
- 25:23Speaker 1: But he was like, man, you were like good at that,
- 25:26Speaker 1: Like that's really cool. Like so I actually appreciated that.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I appreciate that I got to take a picture with
- 25:31Speaker 1: even soul because he was just born. He was a baby,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but he was still there and so I got this
- 25:37Speaker 1: picture and so I have this memory. And for me,
- 25:39Speaker 1: it was more important to thank those and to be
- 25:42Speaker 1: proud and talk about those that actually put an invested
- 25:45Speaker 1: into roman Um. But for me, it was more of
- 25:48Speaker 1: a celebration by my parents, my wife, and my kids,
- 25:51Speaker 1: my family, and really talking about all that they meant
- 25:53Speaker 1: to me and that I wanted to celebrate them in
- 25:56Speaker 1: this time when everybody wanted to celebrate me. So for me,
- 25:59Speaker 1: that's what it was about. Peanut, and uh, it's really special.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I got some pictures from it. But other than that, dude,
- 26:05Speaker 1: it was just good to have another party with my homies.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I mean, Chicago needs to do theirs right, bros. And
- 26:10Speaker 1: then you can get yours too, and hopefully you'll be
- 26:12Speaker 1: in the Hall of Fame and I get to go
- 26:13Speaker 1: there to canon with you and celebrate you and yours.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So that that's all I care about, bro. It's just
- 26:19Speaker 1: you know, the relationships of this game allows us to
- 26:21Speaker 1: have is way more important than any play, any tackle,
- 26:25Speaker 1: any interception that you'll ever remember, because those are the
- 26:28Speaker 1: things that you carry with you, like you can take
- 26:30Speaker 1: the game ball, but it's just on the wall. It's
- 26:32Speaker 1: just yeah, yeah, no doubt. Well, look, we gotta we
- 26:36Speaker 1: gotta pay some bills and when we come back, we'll
- 26:40Speaker 1: come back with some quicker questions, Peanut. Two part question
- 26:44Speaker 1: for you, what trade do you believe best defined you
- 26:48Speaker 1: as a player in the NFL. The other part of
- 26:52Speaker 1: it is what trade best defines you? Now? Is it
- 26:56Speaker 1: the same trade or is it a different trade? I
- 27:00Speaker 1: would say, uh my, my superpower or trade would be manifestation. Okay,
- 27:08Speaker 1: we could go ahead, I could whatever, whatever I thought,
- 27:14Speaker 1: whatever I could think of or dream or whateverever goal
- 27:17Speaker 1: I would set, I obtained it. If it was something
- 27:21Speaker 1: that I truly and I truly wanted, whether it be
- 27:26Speaker 1: a Pro Bowl, you know, something individual based that I could,
- 27:31Speaker 1: um make it happen. I could make it happen. And
- 27:34Speaker 1: for the most part, all individual goals. You know, I
- 27:37Speaker 1: wanted to get a master's degree. I wanted to graduate
- 27:40Speaker 1: in three and a half years. I wanted to get
- 27:42Speaker 1: drafted on the first day. I wanted to run a
- 27:45Speaker 1: four or four or forty. I wanted to make a
- 27:48Speaker 1: Pro Bowl. I wanted to be all first Team, All
- 27:50Speaker 1: Pro I wanted all all these things that I told
- 27:54Speaker 1: myself I would manifestate this thing and my my goals
- 27:58Speaker 1: in my brain, and I obtained them. You know, so
- 28:02Speaker 1: I gotta I got a silly, silly, silly question for you.
- 28:05Speaker 1: When did you start developing gray hair? Um? In eighth grade,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I got my first gray hair. According to my barber.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Um he told me. Um he was cutting my hair,
- 28:17Speaker 1: was like, dude, you got a gray hair up here
- 28:19Speaker 1: in the back. And I was like, how, there's no way.
- 28:22Speaker 1: He's like, oh yeah, I'm telling you. I'm up here
- 28:24Speaker 1: it's gray. I was like, well, are you gonna pull
- 28:28Speaker 1: it out or something like you gotta get rid of it? Right.
- 28:30Speaker 1: He's like, no, no, no, I heard that's bad luck.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Like if you do that, like two or three more come.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So I was like, all right, we'll just you know,
- 28:37Speaker 1: don't worry about it. Like it's just one of them.
- 28:40Speaker 1: And they've literally been coming in ever since then. So
- 28:43Speaker 1: whatever it is, and what thirteen fourteen gray hair? And
- 28:49Speaker 1: so that's why I've never died it. I won't do
- 28:51Speaker 1: it because everybody that knows me since eighth and ninth
- 28:53Speaker 1: grade have known me with gray hair or a little
- 28:56Speaker 1: bit of gray hair, and I don't I never wanted
- 28:58Speaker 1: them to be like, oh Roman made it. Oh he
- 29:00Speaker 1: changed when I when I met you, when I met
- 29:02Speaker 1: you with p A O, I thought you were the
- 29:04Speaker 1: thirteen years. I was like, wait, he you look like Obama.
- 29:09Speaker 1: You look like President Obama after one term. So the
- 29:13Speaker 1: funny thing is is that, so you know, you win
- 29:15Speaker 1: the super Bowl, this is another little great story. We
- 29:17Speaker 1: gotta get this in real quick. So because you bring
- 29:19Speaker 1: up Obama, we win the super Bowl? All right? When
- 29:22Speaker 1: the super Bowl Obama comes up to me, it's like hey, um,
- 29:27Speaker 1: he taps me up. He's like, oh, you must be
- 29:29Speaker 1: the old guy on the team. I'm like, everybody in
- 29:34Speaker 1: the room dies laughing because I was just my fourth
- 29:37Speaker 1: year in the league, bro and he was like, oh,
- 29:39Speaker 1: you must be the old guy on the team. Like, okay, man,
- 29:42Speaker 1: I see you. I'm like, no, not at all, Like
- 29:45Speaker 1: not at all, sir, sir, I don't think you've ever
- 29:48Speaker 1: told me that. Literally, the whole room died laughing. So
- 29:54Speaker 1: then he keeps walking shaking guy's hand. He meets one
- 29:57Speaker 1: of my guys, Remy a Adele, who had like this
- 30:00Speaker 1: crazy mohawk, like straight mohawk straight up, and he was like, hey,
- 30:04Speaker 1: at least you ain't got this guy's haircut. I was
- 30:06Speaker 1: like yeah, I said, yeah, you know, you kind of
- 30:08Speaker 1: looking like me though, you know, I mean real talk
- 30:10Speaker 1: because he's started going real great at that time too.
- 30:13Speaker 1: So hey, look, man, I felt cool because Brock said
- 30:16Speaker 1: more to me than he said to anybody else. All right,
- 30:19Speaker 1: I got another one for you. Earlier this season we
- 30:21Speaker 1: did uh sit down and was on the podcast was
- 30:25Speaker 1: Thomas Q. Jones. And so he thinks he deserves a
- 30:29Speaker 1: lot more credit. I think he deserves all the credit
- 30:32Speaker 1: for you perfecting the peanut punch. Uh you know, he
- 30:36Speaker 1: said you would just constantly chase him down. It was
- 30:38Speaker 1: all these other things. We got some video. I want
- 30:40Speaker 1: to pull up the video for it. I want you
- 30:42Speaker 1: to take a listen and then tell me what you think.
- 30:45Speaker 1: All right, I think some of the peanuts punch. I
- 30:49Speaker 1: deserved some of the credit for that because because I
- 30:53Speaker 1: have uh actually I have nerve damage in my both
- 30:56Speaker 1: of my elbows because he him punching the ball out
- 30:59Speaker 1: of my arms and bract this every day, chasing me down. Um.
- 31:02Speaker 1: You know. So he practiced a lot of that peanut
- 31:05Speaker 1: punch on me and irritated me a lot. But he
- 31:07Speaker 1: also helped me make sure I'm holding them to the ball.
- 31:09Speaker 1: So we helped each other. Yeah, he's not lying. I
- 31:14Speaker 1: think he and every other offensive person on the Bears
- 31:21Speaker 1: Carolina as well, they helped me perfect that peanut punch.
- 31:25Speaker 1: It was something that I don't know. I was just
- 31:29Speaker 1: thinking outside the box, trying to be different. You know,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I wasn't the big guy to hit you to separate
- 31:35Speaker 1: you from the ball. I'm gonna just punch it out
- 31:37Speaker 1: my very first NFL game, Um, I gotta I gotta
- 31:41Speaker 1: peanut punch. I forced a fumble. It was something that
- 31:44Speaker 1: I was I was intentional about doing it all the time.
- 31:47Speaker 1: It was just I thought about it. It was on
- 31:49Speaker 1: my mind. It was get the ball out, get the
- 31:51Speaker 1: ball out. It was respect for your head coach to
- 31:56Speaker 1: literally walk over to him like, hey, I need you
- 31:58Speaker 1: to get the ball back right out. We gotta win
- 32:00Speaker 1: this game. Also another way to say, like Sean Payton
- 32:04Speaker 1: when we were in New Orleans literally playing against Chicago Bears,
- 32:07Speaker 1: He's like, look, guys, this week, no yack. I don't
- 32:10Speaker 1: need anybody getting any extra yards. This guy, Peanut Tillman,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I don't want to see the ball in the ground.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I don't want to see it. And you still got
- 32:18Speaker 1: the ball out. So it was like, yeah, it's still
- 32:21Speaker 1: got the ball out. So it just was one of
- 32:23Speaker 1: those things. It irritated a lot of people. Peanut, I
- 32:27Speaker 1: got one more question and then I'm gonna be done
- 32:28Speaker 1: with you. Then you can ask me question if you
- 32:30Speaker 1: want to. When Charles Peanut Tilman is an old, krusty
- 32:34Speaker 1: Ashley knuckle having guy, what would you like people to
- 32:38Speaker 1: say about Peanut Tilman's football career? I would like them
- 32:43Speaker 1: to say that Charles Peanut Tillman was a guy who
- 32:51Speaker 1: didn't talk a whole lot. He didn't give the greatest speeches,
- 32:55Speaker 1: but he came to work every day with his helmet
- 32:59Speaker 1: and his lunch and he just worked. You know. He
- 33:03Speaker 1: wasn't the biggest, he wasn't the fastest. He was an
- 33:06Speaker 1: underdog in life, and he always came out on top
- 33:10Speaker 1: because he put the work in. He loved his teammates,
- 33:14Speaker 1: would do anything for his teammates because that's that's to me,
- 33:17Speaker 1: that's what this game is about. This is about team
- 33:19Speaker 1: and family. I would I would, I would hope people
- 33:21Speaker 1: would just say he was the ultimate team player. The
- 33:26Speaker 1: same to you when you're bald, because you're already old
- 33:30Speaker 1: and crusty. What are people gonna say about? What are
- 33:32Speaker 1: people gonna say about Roman Harbor? Um? For me? Um,
- 33:37Speaker 1: what I would love for him to say is that, um,
- 33:39Speaker 1: that I was a prose pro that you know, I
- 33:44Speaker 1: was constantly doing the little things right. I studied, I
- 33:47Speaker 1: worked hard, um, and that if I was a pro, Like,
- 33:51Speaker 1: that's the ultimate compliment for me is that, man, he
- 33:54Speaker 1: was a real pro. He was a dude. Um, And
- 33:57Speaker 1: I'm fine with that, you know how we do the
- 34:00Speaker 1: Mount Rushmore in in in the past, who's on your
- 34:03Speaker 1: who's on your personal Mount Rushmore. Well, I gotta put
- 34:07Speaker 1: my dad up there because he was the first one
- 34:09Speaker 1: to wear number forty one and uh and I didn't
- 34:12Speaker 1: even know that. And he's just a great dude. We've
- 34:14Speaker 1: become so much closer as we've both gotten older. Uh,
- 34:18Speaker 1: just because I'm no longer just like his little son. Um.
- 34:21Speaker 1: You know now he looks at me like a man
- 34:23Speaker 1: with responsibility. Um. And I can't have my dad up
- 34:26Speaker 1: there without my mom um. And then probably my wife
- 34:29Speaker 1: because she's been my biggest fan, she's my hardest critic.
- 34:33Speaker 1: And then I would probably say it would be unfair
- 34:36Speaker 1: to put one of my coaches up there without the others.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Coach Clark, my high school coach, means the absolute world
- 34:41Speaker 1: to me. But I would just pick the University of
- 34:44Speaker 1: Alabama up there instead because I'm so roll tied through
- 34:48Speaker 1: and through, like that's where I'm from, that's the state
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm at, like it just it means so much to me.
- 34:53Speaker 1: So it's all in my background right now. Uh So
- 34:58Speaker 1: I would say those to be my four mom, dad,
- 35:00Speaker 1: my wife, and the University of Alabama. Okay, I was doing,
- 35:05Speaker 1: did you tell me your personal your mount um? My
- 35:10Speaker 1: dad And I'm not I swear I'm not copying you.
- 35:13Speaker 1: But my dad was my pops. My pops was in
- 35:16Speaker 1: the military, and as a kid, I thought my dad
- 35:20Speaker 1: was rollblocked from g I Joe, you know what I'm saying.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I just thought it was the coolest thing him being
- 35:26Speaker 1: in the army and us moving overseas. So my my
- 35:29Speaker 1: pops was my My pops was my hero, still is
- 35:33Speaker 1: to this day. Love them to death. My mom for
- 35:36Speaker 1: her caring and loving personality and just I'm a mama's boy,
- 35:43Speaker 1: and she she kind of gave me that grit. So
- 35:48Speaker 1: those are two. I'd say number three would be a
- 35:52Speaker 1: good friend of mine named John Right great mentor taught
- 35:56Speaker 1: me a lot about the whole mental toughness. I think
- 36:00Speaker 1: the last one is Jackie, I would say, because I
- 36:06Speaker 1: think she's challenged me in so many ways that I
- 36:10Speaker 1: didn't know. And when I played, she would, you know,
- 36:13Speaker 1: she would send me these texts and it would just say,
- 36:16Speaker 1: be amazing. And I don't think I really noticed how
- 36:21Speaker 1: powerful those were until I stopped getting them, because I
- 36:26Speaker 1: stopped playing the biggest critic didn't always want to hear it,
- 36:31Speaker 1: but they're right. She was right, she is right, and yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 1: the biggest, biggest critic. And I would say her and yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 1: That being said, we talk a lot offline. I think
- 36:45Speaker 1: I know what this will be, but I want you
- 36:47Speaker 1: to fill in the blank with this one. Right now,
- 36:51Speaker 1: my life is blank, I would say a blessing. And
- 36:55Speaker 1: it's really it's really truly because, um, you know, I'm
- 36:58Speaker 1: a daddy, daycare guy. You know me in my opinion, bro,
- 37:02Speaker 1: I'm top three, top five dad in the country, like
- 37:06Speaker 1: and right now, not having football, I'm all in on
- 37:08Speaker 1: being a basketball dad. I take pride enjoying that every
- 37:13Speaker 1: single day. Um. I love picking my kids up, I
- 37:16Speaker 1: love being involved, and uh, all I'm trying to do
- 37:19Speaker 1: is just be the best version of myself every day.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I don't worry. I don't blame myself for all the
- 37:23Speaker 1: mess ups anymore. So that's what I would say, Man,
- 37:25Speaker 1: my life is a blessing. I would ask the same
- 37:28Speaker 1: thing your life, Peanut. Tilman's life today is I'm comfortable. Um,
- 37:34Speaker 1: I don't always know if that's a good thing. No,
- 37:37Speaker 1: it's because I'm I'm growing, I'm involving um, you're learning
- 37:41Speaker 1: to be comfortable? Is that what you're saying that, which
- 37:43Speaker 1: is no, No, I'm comfortable now, I'm I'm I'm I'm
- 37:47Speaker 1: comfortable in the in the space that I'm in. Well,
- 37:50Speaker 1: I like that because for a long time you're a
- 37:52Speaker 1: rat racing it. You don't know if you're trying to
- 37:53Speaker 1: do this, you're trying to do that, you're changing these things,
- 37:55Speaker 1: and for you to say that I'm comfortable is a
- 37:57Speaker 1: good thing. It's a good thing. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 38:00Speaker 1: All right, We're good comfortable. Well, Peanut, thanks, thank you
- 38:04Speaker 1: for having me and uh, thank you for coming on
