Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: To the Yukon locker room, we go at him with
- 0:02Speaker 1: Jim Moore.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Coach, sixty three points in the game. Now that we've
- 0:07Speaker 2: got sixty minutes behind us, what did you like most
- 0:08Speaker 2: about your team's full performance today?
- 0:10Speaker 1: I like the way we started. We started fast. I
- 0:13Speaker 1: thought we were very efficient on offense, running and throwing
- 0:16Speaker 1: the football. I thought we came out in the second
- 0:19Speaker 1: half and had a good drive for touchdown. Then we
- 0:21Speaker 1: kind of stalled, you know, and I'd like us to
- 0:23Speaker 1: get over to that and you know, play with more
- 0:27Speaker 1: consistency down the stretch.
- 0:29Speaker 2: TJ. Sheffield was part of the punt return game and
- 0:32Speaker 2: had a lot of opportunities out there today. Was that
- 0:35Speaker 2: something that falls in the Yeah, we like what we saw.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean I like TJ. He's going to catch
- 0:39Speaker 1: the ball, He's going to get yards. He just has
- 0:41Speaker 1: to trust himself a little bit. You know. He was
- 0:43Speaker 1: trying to stick to the plan, which was the return scheme.
- 0:46Speaker 1: And you know, when you have a guy like TJ,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you tell him, Yah, this is where you're supposed to go.
- 0:50Speaker 1: But if you see something you like better, you go there.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You don't ever want to take that natural instinct away
- 0:55Speaker 1: from a guy like TJ. Sheffield. He's just he's too dynamic,
- 0:58Speaker 1: too explosive.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Alex Hanig had a touchdown and it felt like, certainly
- 1:02Speaker 2: with everything he went through last year leading up to
- 1:04Speaker 2: this year, the tight end group especially gave him some
- 1:06Speaker 2: love on the sideline. How great was it for the
- 1:08Speaker 2: whole team to see him catch that ball?
- 1:10Speaker 1: Well, he's very resilient. It was great. You know, he's
- 1:12Speaker 1: been through a lot since he's been here, He's been
- 1:14Speaker 1: through a lot in his career, and it's so important
- 1:17Speaker 1: to him, and he works so hard and he's such
- 1:18Speaker 1: a positive influence. He's such a great leader, and I
- 1:20Speaker 1: think everyone on our team was really excited to see
- 1:22Speaker 1: him make that play.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Malcolm McLain was somebody had a couple tackles last week,
- 1:26Speaker 2: but it felt like Number seven was in on just
- 1:28Speaker 2: about everything today. What did you make of his performance?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Well, he flies around. I mean he likes you know,
- 1:33Speaker 1: he'll bring it and that's the type of guy we
- 1:35Speaker 1: saw you obviously missing time during camp with the concussion,
- 1:39Speaker 1: but you know, we just want to see him keep
- 1:41Speaker 1: doing that, improve and improve his angles. But he can
- 1:43Speaker 1: make plays. He's fearless and he's a dynamic player, coach,
- 1:46Speaker 1: Thanks so much, all right, thanks
