  Speaker 1: because I have so many things attached to my life.

  Speaker 1: I have such a huge life, and I realized it,

  Speaker 1: and I do realize that when I try to set

  Speaker 1: this life down sometimes and just give it a rest.

  Speaker 1: Everybody needs a rest. Everybody needs a break, everybody needs

  Speaker 1: some time to they self. But my team did the

  Speaker 1: best they could without bothering me with stuff that was
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: the day to day. They only text me if it

  Speaker 1: was pressing and they had to have a response, and

  Speaker 1: I'm the only one that can give them a response.

  Speaker 1: So they played it so I wasn't bombarded with a

  Speaker 1: lot of stuff last week. I was still a lot

  Speaker 1: of requests was coming in, but not the usual amount.

  Speaker 1: And even though what I'm telling you, I know it's
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: difficult to do. It's difficult to just take some time

  Speaker 1: for yourself, but it's imperative. And I discovered that I
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: really have to do it more and I really really

  Speaker 1: have to discover that I have to just do more

  Speaker 1: or more things for me. I do so much and

  Speaker 1: a lot of women can relate to this, and a
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: lot of men. You do so much for other people

  Speaker 1: that you look up at the end of the day

  Speaker 1: and you ain't done nothing for yourself. You take care

  Speaker 1: the kids, you take care of the house, You take

  Speaker 1: care of your man, You take care of your wife,

  Speaker 1: You take care the kids. You go to work, you
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: take care of them, bills. You come home, you take

  Speaker 1: care of the yard. Something happening with the car, you

  Speaker 1: gotta go see about that. Something happening up at the school,

  Speaker 1: you gotta go see that. Then if you got a
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: child that's got some extra curriculum activities, now you got
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: to support that because that's your job, because your child

  Speaker 1: can't get that unless you take them there. And it's

  Speaker 1: just it gets to be a lot. But you can't

  Speaker 1: forget about you because without you, this whole thing don't

  Speaker 1: really work. So every now and then, I can't tell

  Speaker 1: you how often, or I can't tell you how to

  Speaker 1: make it happen, but you've got to take some time

  Speaker 1: to get with just yourself. And you know what it

  Speaker 1: does like, it's sort of refreshing because you get to

  Speaker 1: reintroduce yourself to yourself. You know, it's kind of good

  Speaker 1: to get to know yourself, think your thoughts, respond the

  Speaker 1: way you want to respond. Respond, Sit where you want

  Speaker 1: to sit, look out the window, look out at the water,

  Speaker 1: look out at the park, look out in your backyard,

  Speaker 1: and just have your own thoughts. That is such a

  Speaker 1: cool thing to do. You don't spend a lot of

  Speaker 1: time meditating and praying. You know, I finally took me

  Speaker 1: a long time, but I just learned this a couple
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: years ago. The difference between meditation and prayer. Prayer is
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: talking to God. Prayer is talking to God, putting in
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: request of God, telling God about your gratitude, your thoughts,
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: your dreams, your ambitions, your goals. Is saying thank you.

  Speaker 1: Prayer is talking to God. But meditating is different. Meditating

  Speaker 1: is listening to God. Get yourself somewhere in a steal

  Speaker 1: place and be quiet and ask God and ask his
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: spirit to just talk to you, to calm you, to
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: give you peace, to keep you enclosed in your right mind,
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: to just give you a to help you with your decisions,

  Speaker 1: you know, to just sit there and listen to what
• 3:55

  Speaker 1: tell you this. You know what he told me that

  Speaker 1: rings true. I was asking, I said, man, how do

  Speaker 1: you know it's God just telling you something? Bishop Kenneth

  Speaker 1: Because I've heard people say, I'm gonna go down there

  Speaker 1: but a lot of them don't, so be conscious of it.

  Speaker 1: Take some time out for yourself, don't forget to pray, meditate,

  Speaker 1: something about prayer. Prayer works, So don't forget to pray,
