- 2:02Speaker 1: Special guests guests rather hell Real, Jr. Rider, Ye forty
- 2:08Speaker 1: Cow Yes Er Yo Man, Welcome to the show, fellas well,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Welcome back Jr. You know Jr. Two time guests hell
- 2:16Speaker 1: Real forty cow welcome. Uh how First of all, how's
- 2:19Speaker 1: everybody doing? Yeahtpet oh yeah, because you was on in
- 2:24Speaker 1: a mean head. Yeah so you did the radio station
- 2:28Speaker 1: and you came on the yeah body that which yes
- 2:31Speaker 1: you did, Yes you did? Man. Well, how's everybody doing? First? Last, great, last, beautiful?
- 2:37Speaker 1: Everybody's good? What was it twenty eighteen? You guys dropped
- 2:41Speaker 1: the project together? Or was it twenty nineteen? So that
- 2:43Speaker 1: was twenty eighteen? What is it like? You guys are
- 2:46Speaker 1: all in l a here together for a reason. What
- 2:49Speaker 1: is going on? Is there gonna be some new music? Yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 1: we're cooking up. We're working a whole lot of stuff
- 2:55Speaker 1: going on, a whole lot of stuff. I had a
- 2:57Speaker 1: new new record call History That's crazy produced by uh okay.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But yeah, and we're shooting a video in Miami coming soon,
- 3:08Speaker 1: so we're working there. It is Hey, so I got it.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Before we get we just gotta what's everyone's thoughts on
- 3:13Speaker 1: what happened versus? It was a dope show. It was amazing.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It was it was you were in the building, right,
- 3:22Speaker 1: was everyone there? Yeah? We actually uh we actually was
- 3:25Speaker 1: there early. We had walked out shouts to Michael Hunter
- 3:29Speaker 1: walked out the main event that night at the boxing match,
- 3:33Speaker 1: which was before the verses, right right, right, right, So yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 1: we was there. So was there any like a lot
- 3:40Speaker 1: of inside with my ring h Obviously a lot of
- 3:42Speaker 1: dipset fans were disappointed and not see you guys maybe
- 3:46Speaker 1: making appearance. Yeah, I was disappointed. I wanted to be
- 3:49Speaker 1: on the stage. Yeah, I mean there was a lot
- 3:51Speaker 1: of people on stage. You would think like, you know
- 3:53Speaker 1: what what what were you like, was there any discussion
- 3:55Speaker 1: of that or was that ever something that was discussed
- 3:57Speaker 1: or I was supposed to make it happen as far
- 3:59Speaker 1: as like we were supposed to all, yeah, be there,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know from my understanding, you know what I mean,
- 4:05Speaker 1: what do you think happened? I don't know. You never know.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's like when it kind of especially when it kind
- 4:11Speaker 1: of business like when money gets involved in certain things.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Not that I'm saying that that's that was the cause,
- 4:16Speaker 1: but you know, I never got to reach back a callback.
- 4:18Speaker 1: So I went ahead and you know, did what we did?
- 4:22Speaker 1: You know what I mean, I had an opportunity to
- 4:25Speaker 1: walk out at the fight with Trela And was there
- 4:31Speaker 1: any what about you l liked? Was there any conversation
- 4:34Speaker 1: with anybody you know about because I remember watching the
- 4:38Speaker 1: battle and you popping up on the on the screen
- 4:41Speaker 1: is not on stand I was. I was like you said,
- 4:45Speaker 1: we was ringside. So we we just came to uh
- 4:49Speaker 1: walk the fight out. Mh. We was about to leave.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You want to stay for the verses. What's interesting about
- 4:56Speaker 1: all three of you guys is like I feel like
- 4:58Speaker 1: out of all the major like app cruise and hip hop,
- 5:01Speaker 1: like when we think of like Wu Tang clan, like really,
- 5:03Speaker 1: the only outsider of the original nine that was ever
- 5:05Speaker 1: considered a real Wu Tang member was Capa Dona right.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Everybody else is you guys were all dip Set. We
- 5:12Speaker 1: know that. You know what I'm saying. We know that,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and so that's why it just to me because they
- 5:18Speaker 1: started out as Jim Freaky Zeky Juwel's and Cam as
- 5:24Speaker 1: the Diplomats. When we came along, it was so when
- 5:28Speaker 1: people screamed Dipset, that's us too, you know how, because
- 5:35Speaker 1: because the last album you guys dropped, you dropped it
- 5:39Speaker 1: the same day as the Dipset Project, which was which
- 5:44Speaker 1: was nice and uh petty, you know what I'm saying.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Strategic opportunistic and strategic. You know, it's just it was
- 5:52Speaker 1: smart because you know, everybody all and some might argue,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you guys album was better. Oh that's what know what
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm saying, But that's problems. But it was a great
- 6:05Speaker 1: day for DIPS fans. Yeah, because because we got both
- 6:09Speaker 1: of those projects, the fans got a chance to hear
- 6:12Speaker 1: from everybody. Yeah, but I think that like there's like
- 6:14Speaker 1: a feeling that like there's like a disconnect between you
- 6:18Speaker 1: guys and the main guys of the crew. Is that
- 6:20Speaker 1: is that something that's factional as far as like as
- 6:24Speaker 1: far as what I mean, like like are like how's
- 6:26Speaker 1: your relation how how are your guys' relationships with Jim
- 6:29Speaker 1: with Joelle's Okay, I'm cool with everybody. I speak to Gym,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you know, we DM each other here and there, you
- 6:35Speaker 1: know what I mean. I spoke to him. As far
- 6:36Speaker 1: as the versus, you know, I don't really want to
- 6:38Speaker 1: go into detail because it's like irrelevant, you know, I
- 6:41Speaker 1: mean at this point, but I'm glad with nobody cool.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I got love for everybody, Like there's no there's no
- 6:51Speaker 1: love loss or nothing like. Yeah, people think that because
- 6:54Speaker 1: we don't do business no more. That you know, it's
- 6:57Speaker 1: some problems, bad blood, but it's not like everybody professional
- 7:00Speaker 1: like I've reached out to be on to make it
- 7:03Speaker 1: happen so we can all be on the stage. Because
- 7:06Speaker 1: I felt like it was it would be a dope
- 7:08Speaker 1: thing to see, you know what I mean, It would
- 7:10Speaker 1: have been dope. What do you guys think was the
- 7:14Speaker 1: strategic error in the Versus performance? I mean on dip
- 7:21Speaker 1: Sen's behalf, because obviously the Locks one, just as from
- 7:24Speaker 1: a hip hop fan perspective, chemistry, chemistry, I would say,
- 7:30Speaker 1: like preparation and you know, the right records and you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: just really studying your opponent because they didn't really I
- 7:38Speaker 1: don't think they took it. You know, they getting paid
- 7:40Speaker 1: for it like they can. I'm pretty sure they get
- 7:42Speaker 1: a nice bag for it, you get what I'm saying.
- 7:44Speaker 1: So yeah, I think the money kind of created a
- 7:46Speaker 1: cushion and it's like some people are coming into its
- 7:50Speaker 1: versus So versus was always a thing where you're celebrated,
- 7:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And it's not more like
- 7:56Speaker 1: a battle. This is more like it's to guard it
- 8:00Speaker 1: at the at the garden at the gardens Locks, You
- 8:04Speaker 1: get what I'm saying, and you know, yeah, I think
- 8:09Speaker 1: preparation is because I feel like if Cam would have
- 8:11Speaker 1: had some picked some different records as far as like
- 8:14Speaker 1: even freestyles, what Yeah, I don't feel like he did
- 8:18Speaker 1: in his bag like he could have. I could have
- 8:21Speaker 1: catalog Stupid, the mixtape, the mixtapes. I could have jumped
- 8:24Speaker 1: up there and told them like like, yo, do this
- 8:27Speaker 1: this this? What? What do you? What do you? What
- 8:30Speaker 1: would you have? Like? What do you think he didn't
- 8:32Speaker 1: perform that? You would have had them performed shake, not
- 8:35Speaker 1: even just records the freestyle s like Cam, like like
- 8:40Speaker 1: even his verse on being from TV. Yeah, that's what's
- 8:44Speaker 1: crazy is they did that and I was like band
- 8:48Speaker 1: from TV Paul two verse and got everybody out of there.
- 8:52Speaker 1: He could have did that me like and Kiss said
- 8:55Speaker 1: in an interview like certain certain records he play. So
- 8:59Speaker 1: I don't really feel like, you know, I don't know bad.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So to answer your question, keV, I feel like like
- 9:05Speaker 1: best Out would have been like a dope song. And
- 9:08Speaker 1: the irony is we you know, we walked the fighter
- 9:10Speaker 1: out to that record before he and he won, you
- 9:14Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So, and the irony of that
- 9:16Speaker 1: also being best out is the same record from the
- 9:19Speaker 1: fight night game. People used to play it back in
- 9:21Speaker 1: the day, So you know, I guess that's starting to
- 9:25Speaker 1: be like the symbolic record of Fighters now, you know
- 9:27Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like, you know, come out the best style.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You're gonna get some good ones. There is some irony
- 9:32Speaker 1: that no matter what you guys did, end up performing
- 9:34Speaker 1: in the building the same night run right. That ship
- 9:37Speaker 1: is kind of wild to think about that there was
- 9:38Speaker 1: a fight prior you guys it's god and was I
- 9:42Speaker 1: mean I went backstage and all that. I went to
- 9:44Speaker 1: the dip set like a dresser room man. He went backstage.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Everybody that's behind the scenes, we you know, we you know,
- 9:51Speaker 1: Dipset and everybody. But we we we began as a family,
- 9:55Speaker 1: so we know everybody from you know, the guys from
- 9:58Speaker 1: the drive the truck to to the guys that hold
- 10:01Speaker 1: people down. So they all feel me. So, so what's
- 10:05Speaker 1: everyone doing, obviously, besides coming together and working together, what's individually?
- 10:08Speaker 1: What's everyone working? Obviously? You just put a project out?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Was it last year? Right? Yeah? Probably like eight months ago. Yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 1: what's everyone working on? I'm fresh off a Golden Triangle.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I just put that out June tenth. So you got
- 10:20Speaker 1: new music out. Just put out an EP. June tenth
- 10:24Speaker 1: is doing pretty good. Just put out another record call
- 10:27Speaker 1: or really shit I ever wrote off of Golden Triangles
- 10:30Speaker 1: Part two that's about to drop any day now, Okay,
- 10:36Speaker 1: so what about you forty To be honest, I had
- 10:40Speaker 1: stopped for a minute because I was going through something personal.
- 10:43Speaker 1: But the last time I was active, I was doing
- 10:46Speaker 1: battle rap. I was getting paid a bag for that.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Shout out the RBE and smack as well, and I
- 10:54Speaker 1: started my own like little battle thing. It's a seed
- 10:58Speaker 1: that's growing called wr GB. Shout out to them, and
- 11:02Speaker 1: it's a place where local talent can come through zoom
- 11:06Speaker 1: and battle for money for people to battle. So that's
- 11:09Speaker 1: just like on zoom. Yeah, on zoom you can if
- 11:13Speaker 1: anybody interested on my instagrams, it's forty cal you can
- 11:17Speaker 1: DM me whatever and you nice. We we it's like
- 11:21Speaker 1: medical premeditated battles, like you'll know who you're battling and
- 11:24Speaker 1: you know we pay money for that. But that's just
- 11:26Speaker 1: like something a little I do w l g B.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So right now you feel like you're back, like your
- 11:29Speaker 1: head's back in the game. As far as you know,
- 11:32Speaker 1: just just getting back on your wrap ship, you know.
- 11:34Speaker 1: To be honest, I think Jall and hell route for
- 11:38Speaker 1: that because I ain't. I ain't want to rap. I'm I'm,
- 11:42Speaker 1: I'm I'm literally I'll be in the streets sometimes to
- 11:45Speaker 1: be honest, Sorry about that. I be like, I really like,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I don't I just be trying to make money doing whatever.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And it took, uh, it took like long talk with
- 11:57Speaker 1: JA being in the studio with Hell Energy, be like, Yo,
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know what, this is what I love, This is
- 12:03Speaker 1: what I grew, this is what I did for the
- 12:05Speaker 1: past fifteen seventeen years, what I'm saying. So when you
- 12:08Speaker 1: bring it back to that, you know, I feel like
- 12:11Speaker 1: that that's the motivation. I mean, that's why you do
- 12:13Speaker 1: it right. And originally y'all love the ship. What I'm saying.
- 12:15Speaker 1: We both shared the same kind of like story because
- 12:17Speaker 1: we both had tragic convincing our life. I lost my mother,
- 12:20Speaker 1: my father, and my grandmother all the thing same year.
- 12:26Speaker 1: That's a rough year, man, And I still got all
- 12:28Speaker 1: my marbles. Yeah, I ain't. You know what's the famous
- 12:32Speaker 1: saying that he ain't been the same since his mother died. Well,
- 12:36Speaker 1: try mother, father and grandmother? Did that take you a
- 12:39Speaker 1: while to get over that as well? And I just
- 12:40Speaker 1: snapped out of depression after four years because of Jay.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Al right, wow yo ya mak'm God. He's supposed to
- 12:49Speaker 1: God may help me snap out of depression. He said,
- 12:54Speaker 1: let's get some more millions together. I said, you're right, yo,
- 12:57Speaker 1: because I mean he's down playing, but he of U
- 13:00Speaker 1: stopped doing music, Like this is what he's done. Tell
- 13:03Speaker 1: me about like I'd be like, he'd be like, yo,
- 13:06Speaker 1: getting your ass cap or you're being my from the
- 13:08Speaker 1: this and that and you know the labels. Oh, I'd
- 13:10Speaker 1: be like, I ain't shop. He'd be like, well, I
- 13:14Speaker 1: just made five figures, but this is not Like then
- 13:17Speaker 1: I feel crazy. Like So with all that being said,
- 13:20Speaker 1: this is what he does. So him being like the
- 13:22Speaker 1: foundation of being hell rail motivation, that's what That's what
- 13:26Speaker 1: makes us to kind of like you guys are like
- 13:29Speaker 1: you guys are all kind of in the same position
- 13:30Speaker 1: of the crew as far as you know, it's like
- 13:33Speaker 1: a brotherhood almost like y'all kind of grew up together
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the rap get pretty much, you know what I mean.
- 13:37Speaker 1: No matter what, there's gonna be some association. That's crazy.
- 13:44Speaker 1: So so I mean we knew we all knew each other. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 1: I knew him before I met Cam. Mmm. I met
- 13:55Speaker 1: you y'all at the radio station, to be honest, and
- 13:57Speaker 1: it was and how Nat seve me at a studio
- 14:01Speaker 1: that No, that was the first day, that was seven
- 14:05Speaker 1: and then we then we went to the studios. I
- 14:07Speaker 1: met you at hit factory. When got you? So you
- 14:13Speaker 1: know what I think, you know what I think? Different?
- 14:15Speaker 1: And this is what we go through stuff like this,
- 14:18Speaker 1: right because Cam is the type he the he would
- 14:21Speaker 1: hype it up. He would say, y'all, J y'all's at
- 14:25Speaker 1: the radio. You know you heard how he do you
- 14:28Speaker 1: better better deliver? At this time, Hell, I think was
- 14:31Speaker 1: locked up. So I'm like, you know, he here put
- 14:34Speaker 1: the pressure on. So I felt like I heard about
- 14:37Speaker 1: j y'all. I felt like that time and I knew
- 14:39Speaker 1: I knew how he does, like you know, y'all gonna
- 14:42Speaker 1: hear the freestyle that we did and yah, it's crazy,
- 14:44Speaker 1: like you know what I'm saying, J J y'all. So
- 14:47Speaker 1: they talk about pressure hot ninety seven and whatever the
- 14:50Speaker 1: case may be. I feel like I had to put
- 14:52Speaker 1: on try to do legendary, legendary. Y'all can google that,
- 14:56Speaker 1: of course. So so at the end of the day,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I think that's the day. But he said it's a
- 15:00Speaker 1: he like hit factory. I think it was before the
- 15:03Speaker 1: Hey interrupting the interview to tell you about our good
- 15:05Speaker 1: friends at odd Socks. Now, as you can see, I
- 15:08Speaker 1: always have my odd socks on. Baby. You know what
- 15:10Speaker 1: I'm saying, Oh, shout out to my bony ass knees. Listen,
- 15:14Speaker 1: go to odd socksofficial dot com. They got all the

- 15:28Speaker 1: they have underwear. That's right. You can get your odd
- 15:30Speaker 1: socks underwear. The boxer briefs are the best underwear that
- 15:33Speaker 1: you could ever fit on your ass. Trust me when
- 15:35Speaker 1: I tell you these are chucky draws. What you know
- 15:39Speaker 1: about top rahmin underwear? All right? Go to odd socksofficial
- 15:42Speaker 1: dot com. Use the keyword bootleg cabin checkout and you'll

- 15:54Speaker 1: bootleg cabat checkout, save twenty percent. It's crazy because like
- 15:58Speaker 1: the essence of like why we all love him? Pop
- 16:00Speaker 1: music is really missing on a commercial level right now,
- 16:04Speaker 1: right And I think that what was dope about the
- 16:08Speaker 1: Versus battle was it it exposed why we all love
- 16:11Speaker 1: this ship to a whole new generation because right now,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I mean, obviously Kendrick is crazy, Cole's crazy. Drake is
- 16:18Speaker 1: a name, keep you versus. Even though I wasn't on stage.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I mean a lot of kids that was probably five
- 16:26Speaker 1: or six seven years old when my first album came
- 16:28Speaker 1: out went back and listened to my Yeah that's what
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'm saying like and said, Yo, hell bro, you're fucking dope.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, this ship, which is that essence? I
- 16:38Speaker 1: feel like, remember it was dope that that people went
- 16:41Speaker 1: back and appreciate the work that I put in. But
- 16:45Speaker 1: I just think, like, you know, you know, shout out
- 16:47Speaker 1: to the Griselda crew, shout out Freddy Gibbs, shout out
- 16:49Speaker 1: like thirty eight special. There's obviously amazing mcs that are
- 16:52Speaker 1: doing ship the way we love it, and no disrespect.
- 16:55Speaker 1: We shout out to them, but we set that said.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I watched the stream ten times because the versus ten times,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and that every time it made me right harder to say,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know what, maybe I do need to switch up
- 17:10Speaker 1: performing when I do perform, you know what I mean?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Like he really like yes, you mean kiss yeah, because
- 17:16Speaker 1: it's like he's showing like, yeah, his levels, but he's
- 17:20Speaker 1: showing like he's like got everything to the cross the
- 17:24Speaker 1: seas to the like on two K and he's got
- 17:27Speaker 1: all the ninety nine niggas put the slaughters up type
- 17:31Speaker 1: of ship. Man. I think that live show is like
- 17:34Speaker 1: you said, like plus, it's not even that he's prepared
- 17:38Speaker 1: and he's versus, but he's like he's one of the creators. Brohm,
- 17:44Speaker 1: He's one of them guys. And I think to like,
- 17:48Speaker 1: it just showed everybody. Man, it's an importance of doing
- 17:55Speaker 1: ship because you know, this whole era of music, everyone
- 17:57Speaker 1: wraps over their track. They just wrap over there. Somebody does,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and I think they're like, it's been like that. It
- 18:03Speaker 1: has been certain aspects, but it also hasn't been but
- 18:06Speaker 1: you got people met the no. But it's certain performances
- 18:09Speaker 1: you don't do that on right, and that's the verses,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and that's the verses in the garden in the garden, Yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and he's calling it out like he's he kind of
- 18:19Speaker 1: it's kind of like he knew they was going to
- 18:22Speaker 1: track and said, I'm gonna expose this. But what it
- 18:27Speaker 1: does I can't say that. I mean that at one
- 18:30Speaker 1: point that's what I thought too. That's not what everybody does. Everybody.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That's not for everybody. I don't New York under the
- 18:38Speaker 1: Bus don't do that. It's not just it's not summer
- 18:42Speaker 1: jams are all artists from everywhere to be fair, you
- 18:44Speaker 1: know what I mean. So I feel like I feel
- 18:47Speaker 1: like they thought like if it's a big venue, right
- 18:49Speaker 1: like for all this protocol and I want people to
- 18:51Speaker 1: understand this right that they feel like, you know, we're
- 18:53Speaker 1: just going to track it. You know what I'm saying,
- 18:55Speaker 1: it's the big venue. I want people to hear it
- 18:57Speaker 1: the lyrics. I want everybody to hear the song. But
- 19:00Speaker 1: I think the Locks strategically made it like they know
- 19:06Speaker 1: that protocol be like the two track, so we're gonna
- 19:09Speaker 1: do it like this so people could hear us and
- 19:11Speaker 1: we and it's better for audibles it was calling they
- 19:13Speaker 1: I feel like Watables really made it like that was
- 19:17Speaker 1: one of the angles. Definitely things that I think it
- 19:20Speaker 1: was like prepar like preparation, right. I think like at
- 19:23Speaker 1: the end of the day, we know Locks, Jada, Chik Styles,
- 19:26Speaker 1: they're all together always anyway. They ain't like they're like
- 19:29Speaker 1: just kicking it when they gotta do. They're family, you
- 19:31Speaker 1: know what I mean. All three of them was on
- 19:34Speaker 1: like Sheik was on his ship. Yeah, well the chic
- 19:37Speaker 1: what what are you? And then they play Reservoir Dog like, yeah,
- 19:41Speaker 1: that's they knew that. Every time they said was like
- 19:46Speaker 1: as soon as they say, we ain't got girl records
- 19:50Speaker 1: and she still styles still going crazy for sure. Man
- 19:54Speaker 1: went back to my brother, Jail said. He said, listen,
- 19:56Speaker 1: he said, you wish they would have played certain records,
- 19:59Speaker 1: just like I wish the Audible would have been called
- 20:01Speaker 1: when like when they played the their verse from Big
- 20:05Speaker 1: Pun you know the back you know niggas in the world,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you know during and been from TV being from TV Joint,
- 20:12Speaker 1: And we wish that Kim verse would have came like,
- 20:15Speaker 1: oh that's what y'all want to do? Let me do.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Let me because I feel his bird I think it
- 20:21Speaker 1: was they didn't know each other's list, so I was
- 20:24Speaker 1: surprised that that's That's what I'm saying the audible like,
- 20:26Speaker 1: if he had, he would have to text somebody. That
- 20:29Speaker 1: would have been a moment if you'd have been like,
- 20:30Speaker 1: you know, guys, I got a verse on that song too,
- 20:32Speaker 1: that would have been like yeah, but they already I
- 20:36Speaker 1: think they had that, Like you said, strategically, they had
- 20:39Speaker 1: that plan, like they're gonna play this. If they play this,
- 20:42Speaker 1: that's when you play this. If they play this, because
- 20:45Speaker 1: they're gonna play this, you play this. You know what
- 20:47Speaker 1: I'm saying. So that's just like, you know, that might
- 20:50Speaker 1: have edged it. But Dip Set had a great set.
- 20:53Speaker 1: It's just that people do, ain't you know. It just
- 20:56Speaker 1: wasn't the locks to set exactly it went not No,
- 20:59Speaker 1: I ain't gonna say it like it went. It went.
- 21:01Speaker 1: It went under death is because strategically they already had it.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. If you play a song
- 21:07Speaker 1: as great as old Boy, you know what I'm saying.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You know how great old Boy is, it probably won't
- 21:12Speaker 1: go after song. I don't know what they play after that,
- 21:15Speaker 1: But like if they play a hard record after that,
- 21:17Speaker 1: it might go with the hard record old boy, It's
- 21:19Speaker 1: not a hard record for the streets. It's a it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: a it's a it's a song that's billboard flow, you
- 21:25Speaker 1: know what I'm saying type of shit. Jerr, what what
- 21:27Speaker 1: is it about? Like you know, just your driving like
- 21:29Speaker 1: like like obviously you've been the most consistent through the crew,
- 21:32Speaker 1: just staying with the with the ship, being independent, building
- 21:35Speaker 1: your building your empire. You know you involved in the
- 21:37Speaker 1: CBD game doing a lot of shit we did. But uh,
- 21:41Speaker 1: what what is it about like the last decade or
- 21:44Speaker 1: so of life that you like just doubled down on
- 21:46Speaker 1: yourself and having really you know something at the end
- 21:49Speaker 1: of the day, Man, this rap ship that it's always
- 21:51Speaker 1: got to pay the bills. It's always got to make sense.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It's gotta you know what I mean. Like, I'm sure
- 21:55Speaker 1: it's easy to get discouraged, like why why did that? No?
- 21:57Speaker 1: I never get discouraged. Even when I was locked up.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I always was like, I love rap. I do this
- 22:03Speaker 1: ship every day, So you know what I mean? This
- 22:06Speaker 1: is you know, this is what I do. Plus I'm
- 22:08Speaker 1: from Harlem, so I'm a natural born hustler. So whatever
- 22:12Speaker 1: I could get whatever rap allows me to get next
- 22:15Speaker 1: to and flourish that way, then that's what I do.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Like far as CBD or whatever it is, there it is, man,
- 22:24Speaker 1: And how many songs do you guys have all together
- 22:26Speaker 1: right now? Like, oh, we gotta gotta we got a lot,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you got a whole album, like we just did like
- 22:30Speaker 1: what full full records since we've been here, we only
- 22:33Speaker 1: been I love la we're doing. We did. We did
- 22:36Speaker 1: some records that I can't wait for people to hear it.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm they're guaranteed to say, Yo, this is what we missed.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I'm telling you, Like if you're fans of like the
- 22:45Speaker 1: Spinners and you know, not just gonna say just dip fans,
- 22:49Speaker 1: just fans Spitners. I think that's why everyone loved you
- 22:53Speaker 1: three because at the end of the day, like I
- 22:55Speaker 1: don't think like initially, like when Dipset really hit that
- 22:58Speaker 1: mixtape run and I'm not saying like cams and lyrical
- 23:01Speaker 1: monster right, but I think that like it wasn't as
- 23:03Speaker 1: much about the lyrics or the bars. It was more
- 23:06Speaker 1: about the mut the production, the swag, the records. And
- 23:10Speaker 1: I think when they when they brought you guys in
- 23:14Speaker 1: it was like, oh, they just they just brought through
- 23:15Speaker 1: three killers, like three murderers, Like you know what I'm saying,
- 23:18Speaker 1: pick up any slack And people were like, Yo, dip
- 23:20Speaker 1: says cool, but where the bars at? You know what
- 23:22Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, you guys delivered that ship shut out
- 23:25Speaker 1: mystic Zach my boy Zach. Yeah yeah, so yeah, No,
- 23:30Speaker 1: I mean I'm excited to hear. What the what are
- 23:33Speaker 1: you guys calling yourself? I just made that up? Now
- 23:41Speaker 1: it's just or is it? Just like the group project
- 23:45Speaker 1: is just gonna be all three of you guys are
- 23:47Speaker 1: primary artist. Ak is fortune five hundred Okay, I like
- 23:52Speaker 1: that making some fortune five hundred moves. No, I wasn't
- 23:55Speaker 1: wrapping up, but yeah, we all got a name. Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I don't think we need we put out the We
- 24:06Speaker 1: put out the upstage that way. We just put it
- 24:09Speaker 1: under all of our playlists basically like our oh profile
- 24:13Speaker 1: right as we was all made artists. It's a great
- 24:15Speaker 1: name for a project to drop the same day as
- 24:17Speaker 1: the Dipseet project upstage, Let him drop, let him drop?
- 24:25Speaker 1: What's this one gonna be called? Oh? Downstage? Off stage?
- 24:32Speaker 1: He asked me that too. I'm like, what you the
- 24:36Speaker 1: off stage. You know what, listen, we just we just
- 24:39Speaker 1: playing around. We don't we don't have it. We don't
- 24:42Speaker 1: have a name. We got this record called History. That's
- 24:44Speaker 1: crazy though, that's coming. We're going to drive. We were
- 24:47Speaker 1: trying to finish the video called History and huh history
- 24:52Speaker 1: is that kind of giving rundown? What's been going on? Yeah? Yeah,
- 24:56Speaker 1: I mean not like that. Can I break it down? Yeah?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Go ahead, break it well. The song is called history,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and and I kind of said, we made history. One
- 25:09Speaker 1: thing about history. You can't write a real nigga out
- 25:12Speaker 1: of history, Okay, undertand what I'm saying, I understand what
- 25:16Speaker 1: you're saying. So that right there, it just speaks for itself.
- 25:21Speaker 1: There it is. Yeah, but it's fire. You know. You
- 25:23Speaker 1: know what we do. You know, we do what we do.
- 25:25Speaker 1: You guys also working on solo ship Yeah yeah, I
- 25:28Speaker 1: got I really rapped, said trangle too. I got Really
- 25:31Speaker 1: Raped three coming out. I got my solo album coming,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I got Wild Records already, might do an album together,
- 25:38Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So I got I got
- 25:42Speaker 1: like they keep trying to throw me bags to do
- 25:44Speaker 1: another rap battle because apparently they like how how coming
- 25:49Speaker 1: that that whole field, because ain't nobody that really like
- 25:53Speaker 1: like at a level of how we rap a step
- 25:56Speaker 1: into the battle rap arena. It's a whole different. It's
- 25:59Speaker 1: like very few people like Cassidy did it obviously, but
- 26:01Speaker 1: there's only been a few. Yeah, I mean I'm talking
- 26:04Speaker 1: about successfully like do it and oh yeah, I don't know. Yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I'm not saying he wasn't successful enough.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And I'm just saying, like I know what I do,
- 26:13Speaker 1: and people that follow forty cow know, like it's like
- 26:16Speaker 1: it's it's different. It's different lanes. Like you could check
- 26:19Speaker 1: for me for what I do with the with the lyrics,
- 26:21Speaker 1: live rap, check the battle rap and be like yo, damn,
- 26:26Speaker 1: Like look under my YouTube and see like everybody I battle,
- 26:29Speaker 1: so you know, not a battle I feel like battle
- 26:31Speaker 1: rapping is like his own thing. It ain't the same,
- 26:34Speaker 1: Like this is their NBA. Battle rapping would be like
- 26:37Speaker 1: Dunkin Contest or the Three Contests or something like that.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Dunk Contest. They could do that. They you know, some
- 26:43Speaker 1: niggas sticks to just playing ball. You feel me like,
- 26:45Speaker 1: like how we do the It's it's not the NBA.
- 26:51Speaker 1: In the dunking contest. But somebody like Desmond Mason will
- 26:55Speaker 1: win a dunk contest. You're like, what the fuck is
- 26:58Speaker 1: Oh no, he's a great dunker. Oh not about look
- 27:01Speaker 1: at it like that. I will. I will call it
- 27:03Speaker 1: like it's and one rocket, Paul. That's fair, that's like that. Yeah?
- 27:09Speaker 1: What what? What when you prepare for a battle, is
- 27:12Speaker 1: it like because obviously you got to kind of do
- 27:16Speaker 1: research on who you're battling, right, get some like personal
- 27:18Speaker 1: ship on them, Like how like how hard is it
- 27:21Speaker 1: to do that as opposed to I don't know saying
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna go work on a song. I'm glad you
- 27:26Speaker 1: asked that, right, shout out to my my boy. I
- 27:29Speaker 1: will right. It was when I battle Homie, his his
- 27:34Speaker 1: so called I guess his baby moms hit me always
- 27:38Speaker 1: the baby moms. And I'm not sure how ill that
- 27:41Speaker 1: was gonna take the information. That was like an angle,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, And that's how battle rappers do.
- 27:48Speaker 1: After being in the game, I learned that, like you know,
- 27:50Speaker 1: that's that's like kind of whack, you know, And I
- 27:53Speaker 1: learned how much a gentleman he is and how we
- 27:56Speaker 1: how after the battle, it just was like, we just
- 27:59Speaker 1: battled and we're still cool, and I seen he just
- 28:02Speaker 1: been on a killing spree since then. I'm like, yo,
- 28:04Speaker 1: so I respect it more so when it comes to battling,
- 28:07Speaker 1: it's definitely about angles and who you and what you do.
- 28:10Speaker 1: But it's it's like, alright, let's compare it more to boxing.
- 28:13Speaker 1: It's more jabs, it's more on how you upper cut
- 28:17Speaker 1: kunky box numbers. It's all more of that than when
- 28:21Speaker 1: it comes to battle. The battleshit gets disrespectful, like damn,
- 28:25Speaker 1: how the hell, especially when they go touching motherfucker's hats
- 28:28Speaker 1: and ship. I'm like, bro, don't touch me. Bro. It's
- 28:32Speaker 1: not for everybody, but yeah, no, it could get crazy. Well,
- 28:35Speaker 1: look do you guys when you guys dropping the first
- 28:37Speaker 1: project record from this project, probably like sometime next week
- 28:41Speaker 1: or two weeks from now, you gotta finish the video. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: we just be shooting a video probably this weekend in Miami.
- 28:48Speaker 1: So there it is. Be on the lookout. Everyone's got
- 28:52Speaker 1: music coming, maybe a battle coming from forty cow two.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I really wrapped three. Yeah, and then the group project
- 29:02Speaker 1: up stage two. Up stage two, shout out w l
- 29:05Speaker 1: g B shout out to my people, real recognized, real
- 29:08Speaker 1: for the shirt. There it is God, Yo. Make sure
- 29:12Speaker 1: everyone sees this guy's deal shirt. He's got on for money.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Christ Yo, this ship costs three thousand dollars B too
- 29:20Speaker 1: many fucking shirt busy, hey y always busy, Hey yos
- 29:24Speaker 1: three thousand. If I take it back, don't get mad,
- 29:26Speaker 1: and yeah, return that ship. Give a fuck, nigga. There
- 29:29Speaker 1: it is baby boom boole that cap show
