• 0:01
Speaker 1: On the Bechdel Cast. The questions ask if movies have
• 0:04
Speaker 1: women and them, are all their discussions just boyfriends and
• 0:07
Speaker 1: husbands or do they have individualism? It's the patriarchy, zephim
• 0:12
Speaker 1: Vast start changing with the Bechdel Cast.
• 0:16
Speaker 2: Hello Bechdel Cast listeners.
• 0:19
Speaker 3: How you doing? We've got something to freaking say. Oh
• 0:24
Speaker 3: it's winter, you say the time that we go on
• 0:28
Speaker 3: tour for some reason, Well, guess what's happening again?
• 0:31
Speaker 2: Happening again? So we're taking the week off from a
• 0:34
Speaker 2: normal episode this week, but we wanted to take this
• 0:37
Speaker 2: opportunity to plug our little tour coming up in January.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: It is a tour up the West coast. So we
• 0:47
Speaker 2: are starting with a show in Los Angeles Ever heard
• 0:50
Speaker 2: of it? On January nineteenth at four pm. That's a Sunday,
• 0:55
Speaker 2: a little Sunday matinee.
• 0:58
Speaker 3: And we're super excited for that show because it's to
• 1:00
Speaker 3: be I mean, this show has been on for eight
• 1:02
Speaker 3: years now, if you can believe it, and we've never
• 1:04
Speaker 3: really done a proper anniversary show, mostly because our anniversary
• 1:09
Speaker 3: was during Lockdown, so like our biggest like five year anniversary,
• 1:13
Speaker 3: So we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the show,
• 1:17
Speaker 3: celebrate all of the whatever bits and weirdness we've done
• 1:20
Speaker 3: over the years, and bring on some of our favorite guests.
• 1:23
Speaker 3: So this is kind of like a special variety show
• 1:26
Speaker 3: that we're putting together, obviously hosted by us. We'll be
• 1:29
Speaker 3: doing stand up, and we'll have some of your favorite
• 1:33
Speaker 3: longtime guests on the show that are local to Los
• 1:36
Speaker 3: Angeles obviously so true, so performing and then doing bits
• 1:40
Speaker 3: with us and talking about their favorite movies. But if
• 1:42
Speaker 3: you're a fan of the show and you live in
• 1:44
Speaker 3: the area, it'll be a really good time. I feel
• 1:46
Speaker 3: like we've never gotten to like properly celebrate the show
• 1:49
Speaker 3: with you, So we're super pumped. But Caitlin, if you
• 1:54
Speaker 3: don't live in LA all is not lost.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: It's very true because the show will be live stream.
• 2:00
Speaker 2: So the live show is in LA a Dynasty typewriter,
• 2:03
Speaker 2: But there's an option to buy a live stream ticket
• 2:07
Speaker 2: and you can see it live stream. Usually it's like
• 2:09
Speaker 2: available for like a week after that, So even if
• 2:12
Speaker 2: you can't see the live stream as it's happening, you
• 2:15
Speaker 2: can still buy a ticket and then have access to
• 2:18
Speaker 2: that video content. Yes that you will.
• 2:21
Speaker 3: I believe it will be available for yet the next week.
• 2:24
Speaker 3: And if you haven't seen it, if you haven't streamed
• 2:26
Speaker 3: a show from the Dynasty Typewriter set up before, it's gorgeous.
• 2:30
Speaker 3: It's like you'll be there laughing your little head off yourselves.
• 2:35
Speaker 3: And if you are going to be physically there at
• 2:37
Speaker 3: all of these story dates, we will of course always
• 2:40
Speaker 3: be there with exclusive merch, exclusive posters and you can
• 2:44
Speaker 3: come meet us and hang out after the show. But
• 2:47
Speaker 3: that's not all. There's more shows to be announced.
• 2:50
Speaker 2: It's so true. The next one is on January twenty
• 2:54
Speaker 2: third in San Francisco. It's a part of Sketch Fest.
• 2:58
Speaker 2: It's at Club Fugazi, where we were at last year.
• 3:01
Speaker 2: If you came to the sketch Fest show in San
• 3:03
Speaker 2: Francisco last year, so beautiful. And this is going to
• 3:05
Speaker 2: be part of our famed Shrectanic tour. And we are
• 3:11
Speaker 2: covering for this show Titanic. Yes, you don't want to
• 3:15

Speaker 2: years of the show. You just got to come and
• 3:22
Speaker 2: see all of that.
• 3:23

• 3:27
Speaker 3: more specifically, Caitlin took the Shrektannic tour to Europe last spring,
• 3:32
Speaker 3: I wasn't able to be there, so I'm triple stoked
• 3:36
Speaker 3: to be doing this because I never got I bought,
• 3:39
Speaker 3: as you know, Calin, I ingested in a Rose to
• 3:41
Speaker 3: Whitpy cater Etsy reproduction. I paid in four and everything,
• 3:46
Speaker 3: and I never got to wear it. So I'm so excited.

• 3:54
Speaker 3: be big and goofy, and if you've seen our shows before,
• 3:58
Speaker 3: it'll be like that but even better. And then finally,
• 4:01
Speaker 3: we are returning to Portland, Oregon. Ever heard of it
• 4:04
Speaker 3: to another favorite theater of ours, Curious Comedy Theater on
• 4:08
Speaker 3: January twenty sixth at seven pm. An extension of the
• 4:12
Speaker 3: Shrektannic tour. But Caitlin, something's different.
• 4:14
Speaker 2: Something's different. It's not Titanic this time. It's the Shrek
• 4:17
Speaker 2: part of Shark Tannic, and we're covering Shrek and so

Speaker 2: it's happening, you can access it after the fact.
