- 0:00Hello friends! Welcome back to Wonderfully Made,
- 0:04Bible Stories for Children. I'm so excited you're
- 0:09here. Last time, we saw how God sent signs and
- 0:13plagues to Pharaoh, showing his power when Pharaoh
- 0:17refused to let the Israelites go. Today, we'll
- 0:22hear the most amazing part of the story. how
- 0:26God finally led his people out of Egypt. It's
- 0:30a story of courage, miracles, and a God who makes
- 0:34a way when there seems to be no way. Are you
- 0:38ready? Let's jump in. After nine plagues, Pharaoh
- 0:54still said no. But God told Moses that one more
- 0:59plague would finally change everything. That
- 1:02night, the oldest son in every Egyptian family
- 1:06would die. But God gave special instructions
- 1:10to the Israelites so they would be safe. Each
- 1:14family was to take a perfect lamb, prepare a
- 1:18special meal, and put some of the lamb's blood
- 1:21on the doorframe of their house. This was called
- 1:25Passover, because God would pass over the homes
- 1:28of the Israelites and none of them would die.
- 1:31They would be protected. That night, just as
- 1:36God said, the plague came. In the middle of the
- 1:40night, a great sadness spread through Egypt.
- 1:44Pharaoh finally summoned Moses and said, Take
- 1:49your people and go. So the Israelites packed
- 1:53up and left quickly, more than 600 ,000 people,
- 1:58with their families and animals, walking out
- 2:01of Egypt together. God led them with a pillar
- 2:05of cloud to guide them on their way and by night
- 2:08a pillar of fire to give them light. But soon,
- 2:12Pharaoh changed his mind. He sent his army after
- 2:17them. The Israelites found themselves trapped.
- 2:21The Red Sea was in front of them, and Pharaoh's
- 2:24army was behind them. The people were afraid.
- 2:28But Moses said, Don't be afraid. Stand still,
- 2:34and see the salvation of the Lord. Then God did
- 2:39something incredible. He told Moses to stretch
- 2:43out his staff over the sea. Suddenly, a strong
- 2:46wind blew, and the water split in two. There
- 2:50were walls of water on both sides, and the Israelites
- 2:54walked through on dry ground. Pharaoh's army
- 2:59followed, but when all the Israelites were safe,
- 3:02God closed the sea, and the Pharaoh's entire
- 3:06army was swept away by the water. God had saved
- 3:10his people. God didn't just lead his people out
- 3:19of Egypt, he protected them every step of the
- 3:23way. When things looked impossible, he made a
- 3:27way. And he still does that for us. No matter
- 3:31how big the problem, God is bigger. And when
- 3:35we follow him, he never leaves us alone. Let's
- 3:40think about some things together. Have you ever
- 3:45faced a problem that felt too big to solve? What
- 3:52do you think it means to trust God even when
- 3:55you're scared? Can you remember a time God helped
- 4:02you through something hard? God is a good leader,
- 4:08a strong protector and a loving father. He still
- 4:13makes a way today. Thanks for joining me today.
- 4:19Next time, we'll hear what happens as the Israelites
- 4:23begin their long journey through the desert.
- 4:25What will they learn about God and about themselves?
- 4:30Until then, remember, you are wonderfully made,
- 4:34and God is with you every step of the way. Bye
- 4:38for now.
