Title: Obedience: The Moral Test

Text: 1 John 2:1-6

Chris Hefner

Jesus’ four roles that motivate and animate our obedience.

Jesus is our Advocate, so we call for his help.

Jesus is our Propitiation, so we can be free from sin.

Jesus is our Lord, so we do what he says.

Jesus is our Example, so we walk in his ways.
