Have We Reached PEAK ABSURDITY Yet? — Brandon Tatum Interview · Man in America Podcast

• 1:33
Seth Holehouse: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Man in America. I'm your host, Seth Holehouse. If you look around, folks, you can see that our country is going through some wild times, especially as we enter into pride month and we're seeing what Target is doing, we're seeing what Bud Light is doing, we're seeing these major brands that are completely aligning themselves, not just with an agenda that says, hey, let's, you know, take care of each other and be accepting. It's an agenda that's trying to cram evil satanic things into the minds, especially of our children. And so that's just the that's just the tip of the iceberg what's going on here.
• 2:09
So joining us today, though, is actually someone who I've followed for quite some time that's been a voice of reason. And that's Brandon Tatum, also known as the officer Tatum, who's got a really, really phenomenal show. And we're just gonna have a just a real sober conversation about where our country's at. What's what's behind this trans agenda? What's, you know, what's the good and evil battle happening here in our country?
• 2:33
But also, what is the role of the Second Amendment? He's a big, you know, big supporter of the second amendment. He's a former police officer. So talking about the role the second amendment has in protecting a nation from tyranny. So this is gonna be a really fun high energy show with just two bearded men smiling and chatting.
• 2:50
So enjoy this interview. Brandon, it is such a pleasure to have you on the show, man. I've seen your face all over the place and it's just it's an honor to have you sitting right here on the Man in America show.
• 3:02
Brandon Tatum: The pleasure is all mine, my brother.
• 3:05
Seth Holehouse: So we're going to dive straight into just talking about very soberly what's really, really happening in our country with the trans movement, the sexualization of our children. And I want to start us off by playing this little snippet of a video that you put up on Twitter, I think earlier today or yesterday, just to kind of frame the discussion. So let me go and pull this up.
• 3:42
Brandon Tatum: I I think that it's a spirit, because I think some of these people genuine genuinely believe they're doing the right thing. It's a spirit. And the spirit of sexual immorality is upon them. And they don't know it. And they're deceived.
• 4:02
And people who keep bucking against God just like he did with his chosen people Israel, he gave them over to their own affections.
• 4:13
Seth Holehouse: So, and that's just, and that's just the tip of the iceberg, you know, seeing what they're doing to our kids. And I mean, I guess I'll give the floor to you because when you're when you look at this, what are you thinking? What are you what's happening with Target, Pride, and it's not just about acceptance like maybe it was ten, fifteen years ago. There's something much more deep and evil and sinister that's going on. How do you make sense of that?
• 4:42
Brandon Tatum: Well, I'll tell you to start off with, it's very confusing because there's the natural and the spiritual. And in the natural, you look at it and you say, why are people doing this? It makes absolutely no sense. How do people correlate sexual decision making with children? Why do they push this propaganda in the school system when majority of the kids in the school system are not even associated with the LGBTQ?
• 5:07
Why are they thrusting this on young people? Why are they pushing this in major corporations? Why do people feel the need that they have to celebrate Pride Month? And then I start you know, once I'm completely confused in the natural, I say this must be something spiritual because people may genuinely believe that this is right. With the fervor that they have, they must believe this is right, which then leads me to to believing that maybe they're deceived.
• 5:34
Maybe there's a spirit of immorality. And because they have been denying God, God has given them over to this type of mindset that they don't see any problems with the indulgence into sexual immorality to the so much so to the point that they're willing to thrust this on children as if it makes sense, as if it's natural. And so when I look at these things, when I find the confusion coming in the natural, I look at the spiritual realm and I say, this must be a spirit that's over some of these people because they're completely blinded and delusional about the harm that they're causing to our young people.
• 6:11
Seth Holehouse: Yeah. I mean, I certainly agree. And when I look at this, even you look at some of the costumes, they're demonic. You know, some of these these drag queen costumes with the horns coming out and and the eyes, and there's something evil behind it. And and I think that it's I I like that your perspective that you're taking is not that I think it's really easy, and I think that it's actually good, but it really plays into the more the communist class warfare to think that the people that are opposite of you are the enemy and that they're all on the same team and that, you know, they've really tried to push us into these two buckets of left versus right, straight versus gay, black versus white, and make everyone think that, okay, well, if you're a Democrat, you're a groomer.
• 6:54
Right? Because I don't agree with that. I think that a lot of them, like you said, that they're they're misled. They've been lied to, They're so deeply pulled into the propaganda. But I think that fundamentally that, yeah, that there's something it's almost as if you could see into another dimension, see what was happening.
• 7:12
There's some sort of creature on their back that's like controlling them, putting these thoughts in their head, something demonic that is actually part of this. I mean, it's it's spiritual warfare. And so looking at it from that perspective, like, how do you combat that? How do you fight against it?
• 7:30
Brandon Tatum: Well, you have to acknowledge that it exists because people's people are emotional. And if you can get to a person's emotions, you can manipulate them into believing just about anything. And especially if they are not informed on a subject matter. The average person, I think, would probably feel empathy for someone who comes out as gay or trans or something of that nature. You feel a sense of, I I don't want them to be hurt.
• 7:58
I don't want them to be alienated. They're people just like the rest of us. But people never go further than that and say, well, what exactly are we talking about? Is homosexuality a choice or not? Is homosexuality something that people are groomed into, or is this something that people are born into?
• 8:17
And when I would argue when people do a thorough amount of research, they'll be able to determine that there's a there is a very stark difference. Not every single person that's trans or gay believes that they were born that way. Many of them understand that there's trauma that have happened in their lives that led them into that direction, which should leave an informed person to believe that if you have been conditioned to do this, you can be unconditioned. Right? You can be saved.
• 8:43
You can be prayed for. You can be delivered from this. You could change the way you think, which will change the way you act. And with the love that people generally want to have for one another, it is invaluable that they're educated with that love. Therefore, you can't weaponize empathy onto other people.
• 9:02
So the the way to combat it is to first acknowledge from a place of foundational truth that these things that we see are not necessarily things that are rooted in reality. And then you have to also go an another onion layer and say there are people who benefit from pushing this propaganda. They're not pushing it because they love you. They're not pushing it because they really believe love is love. They're pushing it because they have an agenda behind it.
• 9:33
There's money behind it. There's leverage in nonprofit organizations behind it. You know, there's money to be to be made, given out puberty blockers like it's candy. There's money to be made to transition people. Because if you look at the people who are transitioning, you look at the people who, I mean, are pushing the transition, they never elevate the voices of detransitioners.
• 9:55
People who have said there have been problems. This may have been a mistake for me. They they ostracize those people. You cannot speak on camera. We will demonetize your channel if you talk about it.
• 10:07
And then with all of that information, a person should step back and say, what exactly am I supporting? And am I really showing compassion at the expressions that I've been, you know, I guess, tricked into doing? And I I think that's the best way to for people to kinda look at it. And it's not just the trans thing. It's everything in life, whether it's scriptural, whether it's your religion, whether it's your relationships, maritally, it's your relationships with your family, you should always try to peel back the onions and say, am I informed about the things that I'm doing and am I doing the right approach that's most effective?
• 10:46
Seth Holehouse: And what do you think I mean, because I like to look at look at these issues and take like the big, big picture look and say, okay, what's really going on here? And when you look at the fact that satanism is on the rise in America, and that they're you're seeing schools like there's a schools in Pennsylvania that are saying they're now going to allow these after school satanic clubs, right, and that the temple of Satan is now getting involved in after school programs, and they've got, you know, they're putting up Baphomet statues. But then when you look at that, okay, then we have the Target, you know, recently the the the designer for Target was also found that you look at his Instagram, this guy that was saying, God was making this pride stuff for kids and the the tuck it bathing suits and all that was also making, shirts that says like, about Satan and your pronouns and openly satanic stuff. So, but then when you then you take a look at say Baphomet, and you see, you know, the the idol, you know, kind of representation of Satan, that it's a transgender beast.
• 11:44
It's actually, it's it's not even a human that's, you know, man and woman, it's man, woman, and animal. It's a complete destruction of of the man in the in the image of God. And so, like from the big picture, what do you think is driving this? Not just about the destruction of the family anymore, right? Which which we know that the communists are very heavily behind that, the Satanists are very heavily behind that.
• 12:07
It's almost as if they're trying to destroy God's creation of the human body. I mean, what do you think about that?
• 12:15
Brandon Tatum: I think you're I think you're right on point here. Because and I'll say it like this. The denial of God causes people to be influenced by the devil. If you are not on the side of God or listening for God, searching for God, being protected by God, then people that resist, although they know the truth, they are turned over to being able to be influenced by the devil. Now influenced by the devil comes in different formats.
• 12:45
Right? There's the the still small voice of the devil in your ear encouraging you to do certain things. And then those who outright worship the devil. Let me give you an example. You got Adam and Eve.
• 13:01
Eve was deceived by the serpent. That she didn't worship the serpent. She does she she didn't acknowledge the serpent as her god. She was influenced by the serpent. There are some people that may not necessarily worship the serpent, but they're influenced by the serpent.
• 13:16
And the serpent will lead you to doing things you ought not do. But then there's the ones who are openly worshiping the serpent. And that's what we see with the open satanic worshipers who then go and, you know, outright do things with the intent to please Satan. And then there's those who are caught in the middle with their judgment being skewed, and they are working underhandedly, with Satan, unknowingly. In some cases, they don't see it as Satan.
• 13:49
They don't see like, for instance, I see it very clearly that this is the way I don't know who's responsible for it. I think it's all influenced by Satan, but some other people have a a natural affection to prevent reproduction. They do not want the population to increase. And ways in which you can do that is abortions, sterilization, and homosexuality. And these are ways that they prevent population growth.
• 14:19
And so encouraging young people to be confused and to be in sexual relationships and and and not being able to build families, therefore, reproducing, then you can carry population growth. Is that of Satan? Probably it is. The Bible says that God wanted us to go and be fruitful and multiply. And the opposite of multiplying is to not multiply, which is of the devil.
• 14:42
They don't and I don't know if they know they're being influenced, but I think that if you're not influenced by God, you're being influenced by the devil.
• 14:51
Seth Holehouse: Folks, I've got a quick message for you. Right now, the world is very, very actively going through a process that the experts are calling de dollarization. And look, I've been talking about this for well over a year now, but maybe you're now starting to see it in the mainstream because they're now talking about it because it's really happening. What does this mean? Well, there's a few factors, but there's two main factors.
• 15:13
One is that the BRICS nations, okay, this is Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and a whole coalition, they are actively getting rid of the US dollar. They're stopping their trade in the US dollar, and this is significant because the dollar's losing its status as the global reserve currency and as the petrodollar. This is what gives our dollar its value. But the other thing is that we have an enemy that's within our own government, Biden and his administration, they are actively working to destroy the dollar. And you can see it in their actions that they're not trying to save the dollar, they're actually trying to destroy it because they want to roll out their central bank digital currency.
• 15:52
So you have these two forces coming in both the same time working to destroy the dollar because what happens when that dollar gets destroyed? Well, literally your life savings, if they're sitting in the dollar, whether it's in a savings account or a bank account or the stock market or an IRA or a four zero one k, those savings, that money could literally be wiped out in a matter of days, weeks, even a couple of months. We're already seeing it with inflation, which is gonna be much, much worse. If you're seeing the writing on the wall and you're thinking, what can I do to protect myself? Well, there's a few recommendations that I always have.
• 16:28
One is just to make sure you've got your food, if you have land, you know, ammunition, whatever it takes, real tangible assets. But fundamentally, the thing I recommend most is precious metals, gold and silver. Look, precious metals have survived the collapse of currencies, the rise and fall of civilization. And also a big factor in this is that the BRICS nations, their new currency they're introducing to replace the dollar, a lot of experts are saying it will be backed by commodities like precious metals, and so you can see there's gonna be a stabilization, and I believe a dramatic increase in the value of precious metals. Not to mention, look at the back the past six months, we're seeing, you know, 30% plus increase in the prices of silver and gold.
• 17:07
So if you would go back and say you put a hundred grand into silver six months ago, it could be worth well over a hundred and 25, a hundred and $30,000 because the dollar is losing its value. So folks, if you want someone that you can trust for buying your precious metals or gold and silver, I would highly recommend Doctor. Kirk Elliott. So Doctor. Kirk Elliott is a good friend of mine, but he's a strong Christian patriot.
• 17:32
He understands what's happening in the world. He's got two PhDs, one in theology, one in economics. So it's the perfect blend of understanding realistically money in the end times. So if you want to set up a free consultation with Kirk's team, head on over to goldwithseth.com. So again, that's goldwithseth.com or call (720) 605-3900.
• 17:58
Again, it's goldwithseth dot com, you go to the website, you scroll down, there's a simple form that you fill out right there. You put your email, name, contact information, and that sets you up for a free wealth consultation. We can talk to either Kirk or one of his experts to really understand what your options are, or you can just call (720) 605-3900 to take action today. You know, when I look around at just the American people, you know, a couple of years ago, say five years ago before COVID, which I COVID really shook a lot of people out of their comfort, really woke a lot of people up. But say five years ago, you know, maybe you had say cuties on Netflix, or you had the emergence of these things, but I think for a lot of people, they just kind of let it go, you know, it's not, it's not really affecting me, they weren't aware of what their kids were learning in school.
• 18:52
They weren't aware of what was really being shown on Netflix and the agenda was much more covert. But I feel like something triggered with COVID that and maybe it's a reflection of the fact that a lot of people woke up from that, that now they've had to really turn that dial up and a lot of their efforts have gone from being, covert to very overt, whether now they're shoving it in our faces. And the, you know, one thing that this is a kind of topic I want to dive into with you is that as as the American people that believe in the constitution and believe in God and believe in the first amendment and the second amendment and are aware of at least to some degree of what's going on in our country. They may not know exactly where the trail ends in terms of whether it's Klaus Schwab or Xi Jinping or whoever's behind a lot of these things, these machinations that we're seeing happening, but they know that our country is under attack in some way. And they know that our government has gone rogue.
• 19:47
They know that the agencies are now turning against We the People. And what do you think, like, as I look to the future, I wonder, it's like, where does this go? What's the tipping point? Because I I don't think that Americans are just gonna slowly walk into concentration camps because they're staring at their iPhones, you know, but but as of right now, look at the actions of a lot of them, and it's like, well, maybe they would, but I do think that we'll reach a point where enough people will say, I've had it, and I'm now gonna fight back. So where do you think we're at in the timeline of that?
• 20:22
What what will it take for more Americans to actually see that we're undergoing a communist coup and that the freedom of our children, our grandchildren, and generations ahead is is really it's on it's on the it's on the knife's edge right now.
• 20:39
Brandon Tatum: Well, I'm gonna give you two scenarios. I'm gonna give you my optimistic scenario and my pessimistic scenario. And my pessimistic scenario is coming from, biblical truths. Now let me give you the optimistic, because I think also, God can give us one more chance. I imagine the boiling frog scenario.
• 21:00
Now there's two ways that the boiling frog can go. The optimistic way that the boiling frog can go let's just say there's two boiling frogs. The optimistic way that the two boiling frogs can go is that one understands that going into the boiling pot is the the frog has the discernment to say, this is a boiling pot. At any point, they can turn the heat up and I'm toast. So that frog stays away from it.
• 21:28
But people but the other frog can see the first frog, his apprehension of going into the boiling water. But they go into boiling water anyway. But as it starts to heat up, the boiling frog in the optimistic perspective is realizing that he was right. I probably need to get out of this because I'm in a trick, and they are starting to heat up on me. And I need to exit this situation and fight back.
• 21:52
I'm I'm I'm getting the signs early on because of what I saw from the other person. And I know that this is where it's headed. He was right. Let me remove myself, fight back out of this scenario. And then relating that to the country, we begin to fight.
• 22:08
Like you see today, you see them going against the the school boards and stuff like that. We begin to fight. We know we're balling. There's a lot of people that have been telling us it's a slippery slope, but now we see because of the education from others that we are here. We don't have to boil to death to figure this out.
• 22:23
We we feel it heating up. That's the optimistic scenario. The pessimistic scenario is that the one frog realizes it and moves on. But the frog that's in the boiling water refuses to recognize that it is it is slowly but surely going downhill fast, Ends up staying in the boiling water till he's to the point of death, and now it's too late. You can't come out now.
• 22:49
No matter what people have been telling you, no matter what the slippery slope have been showing you, it's too late to come out. You are now on a road to death. And the pessimistic scenario in America is that people, especially Christians, have been so lukewarm on these topics. And that water has been heating up slowly but surely. And now you're at the point of death.
• 23:12
They could crank it up fast now because you already at the point of no return. So they crank it up and crank it up, and now you wanna fight back, and it's too late. So we could be going down a pessimistic path of it's too late. They are not gonna reverse their concept of what a woman is. They it's impossible now.
• 23:33
The cat is out of the bag. They're no longer gonna stop celebrating pride month. They are no longer gonna stop accepting men who are delusional, who dress as women to be actual women. They're never coming back from that. That's in a pessimistic sense.
• 23:49
And the Bible says that in the last days, these things are gonna happen, and they're not getting any better. False preachers, itching ear sermons, all of those things are gonna happen in the last days. Now here is the optimistic side because I wanna finish on a positive note, at least finish the statement on a positive note. Back when Jesus was alive, even when he died and was resurrected and his apostle were still alive, they believed Jesus was coming back in their lifetime. And there has been some acceleration of recovery in humanity, and and Jesus still haven't come back.
• 24:23
Right? So what could be happening now is that Jesus may not come back for another thousand years, but we don't know. This may be a point in time where we see an acceleration and a change in another fresh breath of opportunity for us. We see it now. We're not too late.
• 24:39
Right? We're we're not boiling past the point of death. I think that if while we're seeing them, you know, kind of warm us up, they've turned the heater on too quickly because now we've caught on and we have time to jump out of the pot. And we see the pushback in legislation. 22 plus states are saying, transgender women cannot compete in women's sports.
• 25:03
The Roe v Wade scenario, many states are saying abortion is not gonna be completely legal all the way through to to birth. And so we see this pushback. I'm anxious to see what are we gonna do in the presidency. What are we gonna do in the house and senate? How many people are gonna go to jail over things that they have done against our country, including Joe Biden, not just the things that they claim Donald Trump had done.
• 25:26
So I'm hoping in this scenario that we feel it, we feel the pot warming up and we're getting ready to jump out and retaliate against those who have been trying to set us, you know, boil us to death. I don't know it's a roundabout way to say it, but that's, that's kind of the image in my mind of two scenarios playing out.
• 25:45
Seth Holehouse: Well, I think that I mean, I often has work in metaphors and, you know, analogies, and that's how I understand big concepts a lot of times. It's just, you know, through these kinds of discussions. And I think that there's a really important point in that is that if if that pot of frogs, say there's 10 frogs, all 10 frogs were sitting in the pot, it's like their their chance of them all dying is probably ninety nine percent. But if there's nine frogs in the pot, there's one frog sitting up top yelling at them. My guess is that half the ones in the pot will still come out.
• 26:19
Because as that what he's saying, because it's about awareness, right? So the the boiling frog, why is it that you know that that works, they can boil a frog? Is it because it comes on so slow and gradually that they realize it before it's too late because their mind doesn't pick up on it. But with people like yourself, like what I'm trying to do, what a lot of, you know, really average, you know, patriot is trying to spread this information. So they're the ones sitting on the edge of the pot yelling and saying, look, it's boiling, it's boiling, you got to get out.
• 26:47
And I think that a lot of people are getting out. And if you look back at Sodom and Gomorrah, which I feel like that we're really reliving it, like in the modern version, they look at the porn industry, look at the pedophilia, all this human trafficking, I feel like that we're in, it's almost like Sodom and Gomorrah Two Point Zero or even like five point zero, how advanced it's gotten. You can go into the dark web and order a little kid and all that. Mean, it's real bad. Right?
• 27:12
But what gives me some optimism though in all this is that, you know, God told Lot, look, look, go find a few good people there. And if you can find some good people, then you know, we won't destroy the city. And if I when I look around in America, you know, because I'm out there, and I know that you're out a lot too, I want to get your feedback on this too, but I'm out on the reawaken tour or different speaking events. I'm seeing a lot of good people. I'm seeing a lot of people that five years ago, they maybe they were distracted and not paying attention, but something snapped and it woke them up.
• 27:43
And now these are people that are like, they're saying, look, I will lay down my life to defend the freedom of our country. I've, in my lifetime, I've never seen this much passion for the constitution, for returning to traditional values, for getting back to God and faith. And that does give me hope. Like that gives me hope for America, that even if a lot of the frogs do get boiled, that there's been a lot that have jumped out. But I wanted to see, you know, from your perspective, what you're seeing, because you're, you know, you're experiencing and you're seeing a lot of different people across the country.
• 28:14
Are you seeing that there is a, that like the great awakening is really unfolding and a lot of people are really standing up and, and saying, look, I'm no longer gonna take the satanic agenda?
• 28:26
Brandon Tatum: Well, I will say that there are people who are waking up. I see them all the time, myself included. You know, I was I was in darkness at one point too. So I understand that it is darkness. If I had not been there, I wouldn't know the difference between darkness and light.
• 28:40
I I see people standing up, which is encouraging. I want to see more. We have 300 plus million people in this country, and having a million people wake up is not enough. Having 45 Christians wake up is not enough. And I want us to accelerate at breakneck speed because if we don't combat in a more zealous way, we are gonna get trampled.
• 29:11
Because people are so fearful, in some cases, cowardice. They're afraid of losing friends. They're afraid of saving face. I mean, they're intent to save face that they're willing to be quiet and let it all unfold and don't say anything. There should be so many people losing their minds, even more so than we see today.
• 29:35
When you have, the sisters of indulgence or whatever they're called, mocking Jesus, literally mocking Jesus, which is okay if you are okay with us mocking gays, which they are not. And so we should be just as radical at the idea of somebody mocking Christians, but yet getting an award through the legislator in California. We should be absolutely our brains should be jumping out of our heads at the fact that the Dodgers want to allow the sisters of indulgence or whatever they're called to perform. Christians everywhere. And I know that probably 80% or at least 50% of the people who are attending the Dodgers game are probably Christians or at least claim to be Christians.
• 30:25
They should have an empty stadium, at least one game, If we are going to be serious, the state legislators should see so many protests of Christians saying this is unacceptable, that they should be forced to make a difference. Now we see a remnant of that with Target. We see a remnant of that with Bud Light, a remnant. Like, the what I wanna see is that they go out of business, which, you know, like like, they're shutting their doors down. They have zero, market cap because people are just bludgeoning them financially because they're unrepented, sinful behavior that they're doing.
• 31:03
I don't have even even the movie, even the the chosen, the movie series, the Christian movie series, I honestly believe and I'm saying people can watch whatever they wanna watch. I think that some secular things can also add value. But people should be Christians should be so outraged at the response from the producer of the chosen and the response from cast members against another Christian who who had an issue with the pride flag flying on the set. Christians should be so zealous about Jesus Christ that a person would not dare fly a pride flag on a set proclaiming the true Jesus of Nazareth who was beat, bruised, embarrassed, tortured, died on a cross. And they were if it if it had not been for others who took his body down to give him a proper burial, he would have been there for the fowls of the air to devour his carcass without a proper burial.
• 32:10
What they did to Jesus was so egregious and gruesome that how could we sit back and idly allow the images of sin to be portrayed on a set talking about Jesus of Nazareth? I I want to see us do more. I want to see us become more radical, unashamed. You don't have to be violent. You can be unashamed.
• 32:34
It's not violent to not to divest from companies. That's not violence. You know, it's not violent to peacefully protest. Martin Luther King did it. It's not violent to do those things.
• 32:45
I wanna see Christians rise up together because we outnumber all of these people. There's more Christians in America than there's a there are atheists. And not even just Christians. Right? You have Christians.
• 32:56
You have Jews. You have Muslim. You have, Catholic. You have Latter Day Church of Latter Day Saints. When you put all of the God fearing religions together, we should in in altogether come against the things that we see, and we can make an incredible difference if we decide to do that.
• 33:16
Seth Holehouse: And so for a lot of people that are still on the sidelines, that's I think what it is. I think part of it is was a lot of things that have got us to where we are right now. But I think part of it is that the the enemies of our nation and of really a free people, they know that the Americans are very polite, and it's been kind of built into our culture, the southern hospitality, just the ways of the Americans. I mean, that's how I grew up. That's how I was raised.
• 33:43
I mean, you're just, you're nice, you welcome your neighbor in. And I feel like they've really taken advantage of that because what comes with that is an avoidance of conflict and saying, you know, I'll keep my opinion to myself. I don't want to offend that person. Right? I don't want to bring that up and because the pastor is not gonna like it.
• 34:02
It's gonna ruffle the feathers of, of, you know, the choir lady or whatever it is. And so, know, in your own personal journey, your soul now obviously doesn't have any concerns about stepping out and speaking your opinion. Right? And I think that it's important. But were you always like that?
• 34:21
Or did something happen to you where you're just like, you know what, it's not worth it to hold my, to hold my tongue, I need to stand up because there's probably a lot of people that are watching or listening that might have been where you were at that time and saying, You know what, like I'd rather not say this. So maybe that your story of just saying, Okay, how do I go from that to really speaking the truth could be very helpful.
• 34:46
Brandon Tatum: Well, I will say that I've always been like this. I hope that that didn't deter somebody, but I have accelerated my efforts. Right? Ever since I was a kid, I was outspoken. Even when I was in darkness, I was outspoken in darkness.
• 35:03
But over time, I've become even more emboldened to say what I feel because I know that God is protecting me in speaking the truth, not lies, but the truth. And with the testing and I I wanna say this without contradicting the Bible. I'm not I'm not testing God in a in a in a way in which the devil was tempting Jesus to to tempt God. But I'm saying that I have faith, and I'm and I'm listening to what Jesus and his apostles said and what they did. And I'm having faith that if I showed the courage that they did in face of conflict, that I know that God is gonna protect me.
• 35:49
And I'm not gonna and I don't have to worry. Even if I were to be killed for the things that I do, I don't have to worry because I have a place with Jesus. And so I become more bold to do it, and and and God protects me. So I become even bolder, and he protects me. And I become even bolder.
• 36:06
And to the point in which as I continue to put my faith in doing what's right, it seems like it since it's never failing, I'm gonna keep doing it and keep doing it and keep doing it. And I hope that people who are starting from a place where they may be still intimidated, give it a try first. Step out on a limb and say and and I believe this wholeheartedly. And I don't wanna lead anybody astray, but this is what I believe. Maybe my faith is the reason why I recover from some of these things.
• 36:34
But I say, I'll jump off the cliff. I'm that I'm that convinced that Jesus said what he said, and I believe what he said. That if I jump off and I go all out and I don't worry about who I lose, what friends are gonna unfollow me, I know that I'm a be protected, and so I do it. I jump out there. Say, no.
• 36:58
I no. This is not right. And people people are not my friends anymore. But you know what? I have more friends who have now come along that have vicariously been influential in my life through social media.
• 37:10
But I have more people that support me now than they did before. So I would encourage anybody. Now you don't always have to be this bold, crazy man like me. You you can do things subtly but still be impactful. Dennis Prager says has this saying, and I just think it's so amazing.
• 37:29
It's very simple. There's three types of people. The people that do absolutely nothing. There's the people that are like me who are shouting you, who are shouting to the mountaintop and all that. And then there are people who support people like you and I.
• 37:44
So there's the people who do nothing. There's the people who are are shouting from the mountaintop, and then there's the people who support us to do what we do. So you you may not be the one out there taking the shots, but you should support those who do. And you don't have to be the one that's leading at the city council. But are you supportive of that?
• 38:03
Are you voting? Voting is a silent protest. Are you doing things in in in the proper direction? Are you raising your children properly? Are you taking the time to, you know, I would say even pray for those who are struggling in a time of need.
• 38:20
You don't have to be boastful. You don't have to show the whole world on Instagram you praying for somebody. But are you doing just that little bit of real estate that God have given you? Are you maximizing that? And if you maximize that, maybe God will give you more and you continue to maximize to the point where you can be a silent, effective person.
• 38:38
You can be the one supporting all of the I mean, it could be financially or not, but you can be the one supporting all the voices, even sharing their content. It's not it doesn't cost you anything to to hit share and share it with one of your friends that you know need to hear the truth. Because they may not listen to you, but they may listen to, you know, like, not you and I, but they may not listen to the person who's sharing it. They may listen to somebody like you and I, and they may be changed forever. And that person may share it to another person.
• 39:03
And all you did to push the moving forward is hit share. Imagine if 15,000,000 people that are afraid to talk, they don't have to do the talking. We are already talking for you. Hit the share button, you know, and you can become, you know, a great impact.
• 39:21
Seth Holehouse: Such a good point. And it's funny because looking back at my journey, I mean, I hated politics. I hated talking politics. I never imagined that I'd be sitting in front of a camera as a profession now talking about this stuff. I mean, it's wild, but it was really like it was step by step that that was a process that I went through because I just kind of kept to myself and didn't really gonna get focused on it.
• 39:44
It was really about connecting the dots and realizing, especially as we're heading into 2020, that there's something very significant happening in our country and seeing the BLM riots, the statues coming down. I mean, it was like, you know, I'm, you know, a student of communism and studying, you know, what happens in communist countries, whether it's the Bolsheviks or the Red Guards or what happens when the culture is destroyed, bring the system in. And I was seeing that. And then so entering into 2020, was funny. Remember one of the first things that really helped me to step out was I lived in a very conservative area, nice neighborhood.
• 40:20
And but no one this is like, you know, the summer of twenty twenty. No one had any Trump flag or anything. So I hung a big Trump flag on my house. I put one Trump side of my yard, someone tore it up the next day. So I put two more back out there, and they left him alone.
• 40:35
And I had neighbors like whispering to me, they'd call me up say, Hey, thanks for putting your Trump sign up. Like, you know, we're you're so brave to stand up. And it was like, I just I just put a Trump flag on my house because, like, don't want a communist in the White House. And it was that it was that but that was it was just a small kind of step by step that that did it. And, you know, it's just it's kind of funny.
• 40:58
It's it's like any muscle, right? You might go to the gym the first time, maybe you can't even curl a 10 pound dumbbell. But you go, you know, a couple times a week and over a year, two years before you know it, you're curling 30s and 40s and you got a nice looking arm and, you know, the ladies are looking at your arms and you know, your whole life changes, right? So, you know,
• 41:16
Brandon Tatum: that is true. Yeah. That is true. And I hope that people would realize that, that just a simple gesture of courage can be completely infectious. I mean, you like the same thing.
• 41:33
Like there's so many people that are whispering to me. Like the lady today, I'm I'm in line getting a coffee and the lady paid for my, my coffee. And the, the lady at the checkout says the woman in front of you paid for you because she says she love your flag. So I have a truck, a big old GMC two thousand five hundred truck. It's 10 inch lift.
• 41:52
So it's a big old huge truck. And I have a big American flag on there. It's like a 20 by 30 American flag on my truck and it's huge. And that lady, when I saw her in line, she looked back at my truck and I'm like, either she like it or she's a flaming leftist. And she like wants to throw up in her mouth because I have a flag on my truck.
• 42:14
But I I honestly believe that was her way of getting a little more courage. And let me tell you why I think so too. Because when she looked back at that big red truck with that big old flag on it, I I and I and I believe this to be true. She probably thought I was a white guy. You know, like a white Trump patriot patriotic guns everywhere.
• 42:35
But then she saw a black man. And I honestly believe that she's like, wow. I I I love to see more black people love in America because the image that we see on television is almost as if black people hate this country. I mean, it's honestly the celebrities and everybody, they always seem to have some, asterisk behind love in America or being an American. But when she see see that flag flying, I think it just gave her a lot of hope in her heart that, like, we're all in this.
• 43:04
Right? Not just white, but white, black, Christian. And I think it gave us so much joy that she paid for my my coffee. And then I end up paying for the girl behind me. Now the funny thing is is that I saw the girl behind me looking at the flag.
• 43:19
Now one thing is gonna happen to her. Either she's gonna perceive, oh, there's one of these crazy Trump supporter gun toaders, but he was nice enough to pay for my coffee. Wow. I wasn't expecting that. Right?
• 43:32
Or she's like, I knew he was a patriot. You know, I knew that I could identify with this type of person. So I think that, you know, little gestures like that, a courageous, I used to I put a Biden flag on my truck too because I don't care. But a little bit of signaling of, yeah, I love my country can really empower another person that may have been having a bad day or maybe given up and or may not wanna go to work, on their job. And they see that and they say, wow.
• 44:02
I can fight another fight. I'm not the only one out here. That little thing, that that of being an American and loving this country will inspire so many other people.
• 44:17
Seth Holehouse: It's such a good point. It's such a good point. So one last topic I want to hit on with you that you mentioned is the gun totin, right, is the Second Amendment. And I know you talk a lot about the Second Amendment. I'm a big fan of the Second Amendment.
• 44:30
I love my guns and my bullets and my scopes and all that kind of stuff. And, but I want to talk to you about just, you know, your perspective because you you were a police officer, right? And you're, you know, you've served from that perspective. And you've, you know, obviously you're trained in weapons and you know the role they are that they have. And so, in our country, as I've seen that our government is getting more and more tyrannical.
• 44:56
And as I've looked back at history and looked at the nations where a country fell to tyranny, whether it was Cambodia or Vietnam, China, Russia, Germany, the disarming of the populace was always a precursor. And there's a there's a book I'm reading called Resistance to Tyranny. It's a very interesting book. They probably put I'm probably on some list because I bought it on Amazon. But it was a book about literally how to resist tyranny, to form like militias, and it went into the history of gun control.
• 45:28
And it was really interesting. But, you know, one thing it talked about is it gave the example of I think it was during World War One, forget what it was, it basically that I think it was Afghanistan that I think that might have been the the Soviets. I forget what the timeline of the Soviets were trying to take over Afghanistan, but because, like, some of the houses were armed, right, because they're just a well armed, you know, populace, that it was one of the few countries that couldn't be taken over. Right. And just even if you go back to read Solzhenitsyn, he talks about how if even a few people would stand in the doorways with a fire poker or an axe or whatever they could, that could have stopped the people coming at night and seizing them and taking them away.
• 46:12
And so as I've looked at what's happening in America, and I've become more concerned about the weaponization of our government and the loss of our freedoms, I've thought to myself, well, we still have the second amendment. And I, I can't see how they'd even taken away. I think that, know, you know, the ATF just passed their their pistol brace. I saw an Epoch Times article that I think only 10% of pistol brace owners actually registered with the ATF. That just shows you that that people have no respect for federal overreach.
• 46:43
So how do you see that playing out? I mean, even if they wanted to take away guns, I don't think they would even be able to. So what how do you kind of look at that whole scenario?
• 46:54
Brandon Tatum: Well, I I think that that's a good great question. I think that they are trying, but they want to psychologically get people away from guns first. If you can raise a generation of people who are terrified by guns and believe the lie, then generations to come will be less willing to resist. They'll be more willing to be activists against guns. And therefore in a hundred years, one hundred and fifty years, two hundred years, they could probably eliminate gun ownership in The United States Of America.
• 47:23
The beauty, the beautiful thing is that the forefathers, our founding fathers, I think God influenced them and had a a really good hold on their discernment because they could see the future in that we need to establish this now. And as people begin to grow and population begins to build with this ingrained in the heart of this country, it will never be reversed. It's impossible. The government does not see, the government gives this image that is bigger than what it is and that it has more power and influence and effectiveness than what it actually does. Even if people wanted to cooperate, the government is not it it doesn't have the the infrastructure, resources, or wherewithal to even manage that.
• 48:11
All you gotta do is go to the DMV. We've been registering vehicles for a hundred years now. They can't even get the DMV right. And people are voluntarily registering their vehicles. Imagine them with firearms.
• 48:24
Even if they wanted to, they cannot take a hundred million guns. What are they gonna do with it? What is gonna be the process of of of of somebody turning their guns in? It's not gonna be effective. It's not gonna be efficient.
• 48:35
It's gonna take at least forty years even if people cooperate to actually get the guns if everybody cooperated. It's not going to happen. Let me tell you one thing that human nature has established, which I think thank God for, is that another thing that is it's almost like, you know, you think of you casting your line out and then that hook getting into the to the, fish's mouth. The hook is in. If you try to pass legislation to ban firearms, you are gonna see an influx of sales like never seen before.
• 49:11
People are gonna buy so many more guns that you you're gonna have, like, a 5,000 a 5000% increase in purchases immediately. Ammo is gonna be so, so much that they're gonna go back to selling a dollar per five five six, which is out of control, and people are gonna buy them. Thousands of rounds. I did. So it's it's we're we're the hook is in.
• 49:31
They're never gonna get rid of the second amendment. It's never gonna happen. And I'm glad that it's that way because that's the only thing that prevents us from becoming a communist, totalitarian regime led country. And one beautiful thing about America that I think that they figured it out, and that's why we're better than everybody else in my opinion, is that we have inalienable rights. Gun ownership isn't a right given to us by the government.
• 50:01
It is a right that's observed by the government and worthy of protecting just like the First Amendment. The government doesn't give us the First Amendment. It's it's it's just a guidance in managing what God has already given us as a right. And I think that the populace should be better educated on this because the young dummies that are growing up and going to college and becoming dumber than they were before, they think that the government runs the country. We run the country.
• 50:32
We allow them the power that they have. We can take that away from them if we so choose. That that's the beauty of America. But they have done a good job of propaganda making us believe that, wow, the government has the military. Well, hey.
• 50:48
We work in the military. If we wanted to say, screw you guys, we don't people just disengage from the military as private citizens and and start their own militia if they so choose. We have control. It's almost like the analogy of I know people see the picture of the horse that's strapped to a lawn chair, and the horse doesn't move. Because the horse has been conditioned that if I'm bound to a fixed object, I can't move.
• 51:19
When the horse can throw that thing around, throw people around, the the horse is so much stronger than that. And that's what we have been tethered to is this idea that the government, since they tell us this, that we cannot function. And that's why I love people like yourself who are willing to even if it's one person, man. This is this is one thing that I and I promise I'm a I'm a I'm a stop running my mouth. If all that you do only affects one person, you have done a tremendous work because that one person could possibly be the next president of The United States Of America.
• 51:59
That one person could probably be one of the the the the leaders in the revolution that changes everything we know to be true. That one person. And I I want people to realize that when they get social media, when they do all these things, don't worry about the numbers. Don't worry about, I got a million people. I got one if you change one person, they could end up being the Brandon Tatum.
• 52:23
Right? The one person that you communicated with could end up having millions of people influenced by that one thing that you said to that one person. And so I want us to to compartmentalize that. And because I think that that's invaluable to spreading, what we know to be true. So to finish that up, the second amendment is going nowhere.
• 52:43
If they ever try to legitimately thwart the second amendment, it's gonna just get even worse for them. More people are gonna buy guns. And the slow process of legislation is by the time it gets to the finish line and signed by Joe Biden or any other Democrat, it's it's gonna be irreversible. There's no way they can put us all in prison. Right?
• 53:02
The prison ain't big enough to put a hundred and something million Americans behind bars because they own AR-15s. And and I would declare this to people who are listening. Do not bow because if you bow to the mob, we will have no country. You will have no legacy. Your grandchildren would not have the freedoms that you have.
• 53:22
This is the hill that I die on. The men and women who put the uniform on, they went and died overseas for our freedoms. They put the ultimate sacrifice. And many back in the day, they died so that there could be a future that they never saw. And I feel like that this is the point in which somebody like myself have to be an example.
• 53:46
If they can never take that, and I will die, for that right to remain. And if I have to be the martyr on that hill, then I will proudly down that hill because I know that standing up will lead to a better future that I may never see or a resilience that I may never see. And I and I'm willing to take that shot.
• 54:06
Seth Holehouse: You know, I interviewed, Rick Green recently, who's, you know, super guy, constitutional expert. And he said that for him, you know, that his line was if they come to take his guns or come to take his children. You know, that was the line for him that he like if they cross that line, there's there's nothing no holds barred. It's funny you mentioned, the the gun sales. I have a few friends that you own gun shops and said that Obama was the best gun salesman they've ever had.
• 54:35
So many people were rushing to buy guns. So anyway, well, I want to encourage before you sign up, want to make sure people are following you. So on Twitter, it's just the officer Tatum. And you've also if you click on that link there, I think you've got the best t shirts. You talked about people supporting and everything.
• 54:53
So, there's a link on here to see Officer Tatum store. And, check it out because you've got I loved your new one, the, Don't Target Our Kids shirt, which is really good. Yeah. But you've just got some great shirts on here that I think people there you go, Don't Target My Kid. How appropriate.
• 55:11
So this is a way it's like you mentioned, you know, people supporting, you know, people that they watch my show, they, they go, they go buy gold from the advertiser, they go support the advertisers that support our shows because, you know, I'm not, know, I think my last check from YouTube was like $37 So, you know, I've been so demonetized and shadow banned. It's not even possible yet. If I had a liberal show, or if you had a liberal show, you'd have 10,000,000 followers on YouTube. You'd be blowing up. You know what I mean?
• 55:40
And you'd be making a million bucks a month on ad revenue from YouTube. But it's not the case because we're going against the grain. So, any closing thoughts as we before we wrap up?
• 55:51
Brandon Tatum: No. I just wanna thank you for having me, man. I I appreciate it. You know, wonderful, show that you have, and and I'm a big supporter of you. And and I love what you do.
• 55:59
And I encourage everybody to, find the path that God is leading you to and follow it and be courageous in whatever you do, and it will pay off in the future. And then I'll say this as well, supporting others. Are you gonna be the one that does nothing? You're gonna be the one that's the voice, crying in the wilderness, or you're gonna be the one that support the voices. And I think that I want everybody to consider that in, in supporting other people financially is the way that we should go.
• 56:28
I really do believe so. Like your show should continue and people should support you financially. And it's not the people who show people can get rich, you know, even though we live in a capitalist society, it is. If you care about the people's voices, we should support them. And and I think that's a a great way to do it is supporting them financially.
• 56:46
So I appreciate you having me on, man. God bless you. And, anytime you want me back, I'll be here.
• 56:51
Seth Holehouse: Alright, man. Well, thank you so much for coming. This this was wonderful. Thank you, brother. Alright, folks.
• 56:57
I've got a quick message for you. I have one simple question. If today you could no longer go purchase more food for your family, with the food stores that you have in your home, how long would you be able to feed your family? Would it be a week, three weeks, a month, two months, a year? This is a really important question folks that we have to be very realistic about because the elites are proactively trying to put us into a state of food crisis and a state of famine.
• 57:27
I'm sure you've seen all of the different food processing plants and farms that are blowing up. You've got cattle dying by the tens of thousands. They're proactively trying to collapse our food system because they know if they can control our food, they can control us. And so one of the best ways to be outside of their control is to be able to have our own stores of food and to be able to produce our own food. So there's really two things I would recommend.
• 57:52
One is having heirloom seeds that you can grow your own food with, making sure that they're non GMO heirloom seeds that that way you can harvest your seeds this year, use them next year. You can use these seeds for generations. Literally, it's how it will work. The other thing though is this high quality storable food. This is food that's sitting somewhere, it's hidden in your basement, buried in your backyard, whatever it ever it is.
• 58:14
So that way if there is a crisis, if there is an emergency, you might have three months set aside to get through that time period. And so for this, I would highly recommend a company called Heaven's Harvest. This is an amazing Christian owned patriot company, and what they're doing is they're making high quality storable food. Again, lot of the food companies, they say these food buckets, they're all about maximizing calories per dollar. They're filling the buckets with a bunch of filler and junk like sweet beverages, etc.
• 58:44
But Heaven's Harvest, they focus on very high quality food that will last up to twenty five years on the shelf. They also sell heirloom seeds. You can buy all of your seed, you can buy all of your restorable food. And look folks, personally, I would recommend having at least three months per person in your household, if not six months or even a year. Again, depends on your budget, but I'll definitely make sure you have some seeds because that seed, those seeds could be worth their weight in gold, if not more in the future.
• 59:12
So to go ahead and do this right now, go put up a new tab and go to heavensharvest.com. And if you use the promo code Seth, that's s e t h, promo code Seth, you'll save 15% off of your entire order. So again, folks, the time is running out and you'd rather be three months or one year early than one day late. Again, heavensharvest.com and use promo code Seth to save 15% today.
