- 0:00Exodus chapter 36, let us pray. Our Father, you're higher,
- 0:07you're greater, You're better. We love you.
- 0:09Lord Jesus, we thank you for life and life abundant.
- 0:12We thank you for waking us up and putting us on our feet.
- 0:15Lord, we pray for righteous leaders in the land.
- 0:18We pray God that you'll bind the enemy Father from off of this
- 0:23time. Bind the enemy God from off of
- 0:26leadership here in this land. Bind the enemy God from those
- 0:31who are trying to pervert the minds of the children.
- 0:34Bind the enemy God off of mental illness.
- 0:37Lord, bind the enemy God and cast him into the judgment that
- 0:41you have a waiting for him. God, He has no place here.
- 0:44In the name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim the name of the Lord
- 0:49Jesus Christ over our families. We proclaim the name of the Lord
- 0:53Jesus Christ over our bodies, over our minds, over our
- 1:00workplaces, over our schools, over our homes, over all the
- 1:06government. Lord, we proclaim the name of
- 1:10Jesus Christ, but not our will. Your will be done.
- 1:13Father, I pray that you form a hedge of protection around this
- 1:17house, around this ministry, around all those who will hear
- 1:21this message. God, form a hedge of protection
- 1:24around them. God, drive out all of the
- 1:28darkness. Lord, I pray that we'll rest in
- 1:31the Shekinah glory. God, that is available to us.
- 1:36Lord, we have purified our hearts.
- 1:38Lord, we have confessed. Lord, we have made it right.
- 1:43We've repented. We've seen the Kingdom of God is
- 1:46near. And so, Lord, we wait in this
- 1:49space, We have broken up the fallow ground.
- 1:54Lord, we are standing on fertile soil.
- 1:58God, we have planted the seeds. Lord, increase the fruit.
- 2:03Father, give us a harvest. Father, I pray, Lord, that we'll
- 2:07not look left or right, but we'll lock eyes with you.
- 2:10We'll put our hand to the plough.
- 2:12God, we'll sell everything and buy the field.
- 2:14God, I pray that you'll be preoccupied with the Pearl of
- 2:20great price. God, I pray against the birds,
- 2:24Lord, trying to land in the branches.
- 2:26Father, I pray God that you will set us ablaze.
- 2:30Lord, light us up. God, I pray that you will help
- 2:34us to be light and to be salt. Lord, pour us into the wounds.
- 2:39Father, I pray that you'll cauterize them.
- 2:41Father, I pray you'll heal them. Lord, pull out all the
- 2:44infectious diseases. Lord, I pray that you'll help us
- 2:49to walk in paths of peace and righteousness.
- 2:52Lord, help us to know God that you're for us and not against
- 2:56us. Lord, we're washed in the blood
- 2:58that we're marked by your goodness and grace and mercy and
- 3:01love. Father, we thank you, God, for
- 3:04such a time as this. We rest on all your promises,
- 3:08and it's in King Jesus, holy and precious name that I pray.
- 3:12Amen. Let's start in verse one then
- 3:19wrought basaliel and holy and every wise hearted man in whom
- 3:24the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to
- 3:27work on manner of work for the service of the sanctuary
- 3:31according to all that the Lord had commanded.
- 3:34So here we're going to get to see the construction of the
- 3:38Tabernacle. It's high time to put away all
- 3:42words, it's high time to put away all of the decision
- 3:47makings, and it's actually time to start putting our hand to the
- 3:52plow. We could have so many different
- 3:54board meetings friends. We could all come together with
- 3:58our minds and we could all sit around and talk about it.
- 4:01But it means nothing if you're not willing to actually get into
- 4:05the fight. If you're not willing to
- 4:07actually get in to the field, get in to the harvest, actually
- 4:10get in friends to the hardest and the darkest places.
- 4:14That's where God has called us into, friends.
- 4:17Not to the board meetings, friends, not to just sit around
- 4:21and talk about theology all day. Not just to sit around and talk
- 4:25about doctrine all day, but to actually do the work of an
- 4:29evangelist, put our life on the line, to put our entire career
- 4:34on the line, to put our entire ability to provide on the line
- 4:43and to actually go out and do the work that he's called us to.
- 4:48And to believe that he's going to provide.
- 4:51And it's it is impossible to please God without faith.
- 4:54You must believe that when you step out of the boat, the
- 4:58water's going to hold you up. It's high time for us to put
- 5:02away all of our vain jangling, and to actually get into the
- 5:07work that he's called us to. And Moses called Bazalil, and
- 5:12the holy AB, and every wise hearted man in whose heart the
- 5:16Lord had put wisdom, even everyone whose heart stirred him
- 5:20up, to come to the work to do it. 3 And they received of Moses
- 5:25all the offering which the children of Israel had brought
- 5:29for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it with
- 5:32all, And they brought yet unto him free offerings.
- 5:38Every morning can you see the people streaming in to the place
- 5:45where Moses is, and they are bringing it to him.
- 5:49All of these gifts, all of the earrings and all of the
- 5:52bracelets and all of the necklaces, all of their Bengals,
- 5:56every single thing that has any worth, they are willingly
- 6:01bringing it to him. And you're going to get to see
- 6:03some measurements in here, but if you run some current figures
- 6:08of what this Tabernacle would cost in materials and skilled
- 6:13labor, you come up roughly in today's modern currency, you
- 6:19come up roughly to 1/4 of a billion dollars.
- 6:28That should make you pause. These people were completely
- 6:36outlandish and ridiculous in their giving.
- 6:45We're going to get to see as they are willfully, lovingly,
- 6:52and they want to do the work and they want to actually
- 6:57contribute. We're going to get to see what
- 6:59the byproduct of it is. Every morning they're bringing
- 7:05it four. And all the wise men that
- 7:08wrought all the work of the sanctuary came every man from
- 7:11his work, which they made five. And they spoke to Moses saying
- 7:15the people bring much more than enough for the service of the
- 7:19work which the Lord has commanded to make.
- 7:22Praise God. Hallelujah.
- 7:24The people are so moved by the idea of the manifest presence of
- 7:29God coming and actually descending upon this tent that
- 7:34they are willingly giving everything they've got.
- 7:37So much. So that is too much.
- 7:41Can you say that today that little is much in the Father's
- 7:46hands and there is no lack in the Father's house?
- 7:50He has the cattle on 1000 hills. He doesn't want your money, He
- 7:55wants your heart. It was more than enough. 6 and
- 8:05Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed
- 8:09throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any
- 8:15more work. The offering of the sanctuary.
- 8:22So the people were restrained from bringing 7 for the stuff
- 8:27they had was sufficient for all the work to make it too much.
- 8:34Think about that friends. They were coming every morning
- 8:39and laying all the materials down to the point that the
- 8:43workmen had to go to Moses and say make it stop.
- 8:47It's way too much. Imagine that, friends, God never
- 8:53runs out. God's resources are endless.
- 8:59He is the one who put the oar in the earth that we place our
- 9:03value upon with currency. Never forget that, and it is
- 9:08impossible to serve both God and Mammon.
- 9:13Never forget that Eight had every wise hearted man among
- 9:19them that wrought the work of the Tabernacle made 10 curtains
- 9:23of fine twined linen and blue, purple scarlet cherubims.
- 9:28Cunning work made he them. So we're talking about the linen
- 9:32curtains here, friends. 9 The length of one curtain was 28
- 9:38cubits in the breadth of one curtain 4 cubits and the
- 9:42curtains were all of one size. 10 And he coupled the five
- 9:46curtains one onto another, and the other five curtains he
- 9:50coupled 1 onto the other. 11 And he made loops of blue on the
- 9:55edge of one curtain from the self edge in the coupling.
- 9:58Likewise He made the uttermost size of another curtain on the
- 10:03coupling of the 2nd. 1250 loops made he in one curtain, and 50
- 10:08loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the
- 10:12coupling of the second. The loops held one curtain to
- 10:15another, and he made 50 tashes of gold and coupled the curtains
- 10:20one unto another with the tashes.
- 10:22So it became one Tabernacle. 14 And he made curtains of goat's
- 10:29hair for the tent over the Tabernacle. 11 curtains.
- 10:32He made them. So now we're going to get to see
- 10:36the curtains of the goat hair. 15 The length of one curtain was
- 10:4030 cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain.
- 10:44The 11 curtains were of one size, and he coupled 5 curtains
- 10:48by themselves and six curtains by themselves. 17 And he made 50
- 10:53loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and
- 10:5750 loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupled the
- 11:032nd. 18 And he made 50 caches of brass to couple the tent
- 11:09together, that he might that it might be 1.
- 11:13Can you see it, friends? These curtains being put
- 11:16together and they have the rings in it with the poles would go
- 11:19through it. Friends 19 And he made a
- 11:24covering for the tent of Ramskins dyed red and a covering
- 11:28of badger skins above that. So this was the waterproof.
- 11:32So if it rained friends or the moisture friends, it would keep
- 11:37the water out of this tent. Think about it.
- 11:40God thinks about every little detail, even how to keep his
- 11:46house waterproof, and he's using these leather skins to keep the
- 11:53water out and look how they're dyed red, which shows us our
- 11:56Lord Jesus Christ. 20 And he made boards for the Tabernacle
- 12:01of Acacia Woods standing up. 21 The length of a board was 10
- 12:06cubits, and the breadth of a board was 1 cubit and 1/2.
- 12:09So here we're going to get to see the boards and the sockets
- 12:12that they slid into that would make the walls of this tent. 22
- 12:20One board had two tenons equally distant, one from another.
- 12:23Thus did he make for all the boards of the Tabernacle. 23 And
- 12:27he made boards of the Tabernacle 20 boards for the South side
- 12:31southward, 24 and 40 sockets of silver.
- 12:35He made under the 20 boards, 2 sockets under one board for his
- 12:39two tenons, 2 sockets under another board for his two tenons
- 12:4425. And on the other side of the
- 12:46Tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty
- 12:50boards 26, And there are 40 sockets of silver, 2 sockets
- 12:54under one board, and two sockets under another board. 27.
- 13:00And for the sides of the Tabernacle westward he made six
- 13:04boards 28. Two boards made he for the
- 13:07corners of the Tabernacle in the two sides 29 and they were
- 13:11coupled beneath and coupled together at the head thereof to
- 13:141 ring. Thus he did to both of them in
- 13:17both the corners, and there were eight boards, and their sockets
- 13:21were 16 sockets of silver under every board, 2 sockets 31 And he
- 13:27made bars of Tim Wood 5 for the boards of the one side of the
- 13:32Tabernacle, 32 and 5 bars for the boards of the other side of
- 13:37the Tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the Tabernacle
- 13:41for the sides westward 33 And he made a middle bar to shoot
- 13:45through the boards from the one end to the other.
- 13:49So can you see it, friends? Can you see that they have the
- 13:52curtains put together? Can you see that they have the
- 13:56bars holding the curtains? Can you see that they have the
- 14:00sockets holding these boards all put together?
- 14:0534 and he overlaid the boards with gold and made their rings
- 14:09of gold to be places for the bars and overlaid the bars with
- 14:13gold. Can you see these walls?
- 14:16Actually, they would melt down the gold, and then they would
- 14:20pour it over this Acacia wood, and they would take it and let
- 14:25it set, and then you would have this overlay of gold for the
- 14:30Acacia wood. What an amazing thought. 35 And
- 14:34he made a veil of blue and purple and scarlet and fine
- 14:37twined linens with cherubims made of cunning work.
- 14:42So here is the inner veil. This was the veil that got
- 14:44ripped from top to bottom in the temple of Herod.
- 14:51Whenever we see that the Zerubbabel temple that Jesus
- 14:57walked through had this veil that was ascribed here for the
- 15:03Tabernacle, and Jesus ripped it to give us access into the
- 15:07holiest of holy places. And he made their unto 4 pillars
- 15:14of Tim wood and overlaid them with gold.
- 15:17Their hooks were of gold. And he cast for their four
- 15:20sockets of silver. That was the inner veil.
- 15:24Here's the outer veil. 37 And he made a hanging of the Tabernacle
- 15:27door, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twine linen of needlework,
- 15:3238 and five pillars of it with their hooks.
- 15:35And he overlaid their chapter's and their fillets with gold.
- 15:38But their five sockets were of brass.
- 15:41That brass speaks of the refining fire.
- 15:46I hope you've been blessed by this amazing chapter in God's
- 15:49Word. I know I sure have.
- 15:50I'm praying for every single one of you.
- 15:52I love you. We'll see you back here
- 15:54tomorrow. God bless you.
