- 1:23James Mullah Rahman Al Haim Salaam Alaikum Mullah Mullah
- 1:26Mullah. Brothers, sisters, welcome back
- 1:28to the Aftermarket, a podcast. We're in a new year, but
- 1:31unfortunately situations are continuing.
- 1:33We've seen over the last few years so much tension and strife
- 1:37building up in the Middle East. We've seen the genocide in
- 1:40Palestine, we've seen war all across the region, and
- 1:44unfortunately foreign intervention has continued along
- 1:47the way as well. Today we're going to be talking
- 1:49about what's been happening in Iran and particularly the effect
- 1:53on the Shia community around the world.
- 1:56Now, of course, if you've been following the podcasts over the
- 1:59last three years, you'll know that we are primarily a
- 2:02faith-based channel. We talk about spirituality, how
- 2:05to get close to our last panel to Isla.
- 2:06We talk about the Shia faith, the Shia community, but at times
- 2:10it's imperative that we as a population and of course as
- 2:14podcast hosts, take the responsibility to talk about
- 2:17issues that affect our people here.
- 2:19We live in a globalized world. That means that if something
- 2:22happens in one corner of the globe, it will affect how it's
- 2:25perceived and and responded to in the other.
- 2:28And in this situation we're in now, we feel that this is an
- 2:31example of that. In the last two or three weeks,
- 2:34we've seen a lot of tension building up in Iran.
- 2:37And that has meant that we've now got to a point where
- 2:40everyday situations are changing.
- 2:43Whether it's the possibility of military intervention, whether
- 2:47the economic sanctions will be continued and upscaled, and
- 2:50whether foreign actors will get involved in what's taking place
- 2:53in Iran to either overthrow or attempt to overthrow the
- 2:56administration or to fortify those who are protesting
- 2:59themselves. But we're not going to get into
- 3:01too much of that now before we introduce our guest, as always,
- 3:05said Ali. Salaam Ali Khan will have to
- 3:06live and work out. How are you, brother?
- 3:19I'm all Hamdallah worried in many ways, but we we put our
- 3:25trust in Allah. Always, always, yeah.
- 3:27And look, it's an app time to talk about this because we are
- 3:31also in the months of spirituality and gaining
- 3:33closeness to the last one to either.
- 3:35As we are recording now, we're approaching the Shahadat and I
- 3:39think by the time this releases will be the Shahadat of our 7th
- 3:41Holy Imam, Imam Musal Qarim Alayhi Salaam, who taught us how
- 3:45to live a life of standing up against oppression, being
- 3:50patient in times of difficulty against the oppressor, and also
- 3:54how to live our lives with Tawakkul and with Iman, that the
- 3:59plan of Allah will always remain victorious.
- 4:02And I think today what we wanna do is be able to understand how
- 4:06the current situation we are in. Yeah.
- 4:08And the world is in ties in with the ultimate plan of online, the
- 4:12lessons we have in our heritage and in our traditions.
- 4:15So we're really honoured, brothers, sisters, to be joined
- 4:18again by someone who needs no introduction.
- 4:20Not only has he been on the podcast three times, I believe
- 4:24I'm not mistaken, three previous times.
- 4:27So Hamdallah for his fourth reappearance.
- 4:29We welcome our dear brother Hassan.
- 4:34How are you, brother? Well, Hamdallah.
- 4:37You've been awfully quite recently on social media.
- 4:41Extremely, yeah. Believe it or not, I actually I
- 4:46know that this is probably hard to accept and agree with me on.
- 4:53I actually don't like the limelight believe it or not,
- 4:55especially after I started having kids and so on.
- 5:00Listen, just let me go into my library and read.
- 5:03You say that I I was on your phone 10 minutes ago and it said
- 5:06that you'd reached millions in the last 30 days.
- 5:08Yeah. Yeah, we don't have the
- 5:11limelight, but you know. We we love the camera of course
- 5:14of. Course you've got to do.
- 5:16What you've got to do, I actually lack a peaceful life.
- 5:18But I believe a Mukman that, you know, wants to stick to his
- 5:25obligations and so on, he's never going to be able to fully
- 5:30have a peaceful life, you know, and that's.
- 5:33Just I agree. Look, I mean, let's kind of set
- 5:36the the pretext here. You, the reason I think why it's
- 5:40it's apartment to have you on is because you were especially
- 5:44within the last week, since the the podcast has released, you
- 5:48have been at the forefront of standing in defence of one of
- 5:54the, the, the largest and the most well known Islamic centres
- 5:58in the UK. And you kind of rallied the
- 6:01Shiite community together to come to defence of a place of
- 6:05worship. I think first and foremost
- 6:07that's imperative to mention that defence of any place of
- 6:10worship is something highly regarded, especially, you know,
- 6:14the places of worship which we ourselves engage in.
- 6:17How did you get to that situation in the 1st place?
- 6:19Why were you there? What happened?
- 6:22Can you give us a bit of a back story for those who have not
- 6:24seen anything? You know, I think most people
- 6:27think it was just like, oh, I found out the Shahies are
- 6:31covered. Let's go and fight there.
- 6:33It wasn't like that. Just a normal Saturday and I was
- 6:41in the area and it was prayer time and so I had to go and do a
- 6:47few things and then I told my wife and kids.
- 6:50I told my wife, you know, take the kids, meet me at Islamic
- 6:52Centre so I can go and pray. So I go and I go inside.
- 7:00I pray and I told my wife, you know sit in the car with my baby
- 7:06daughter because my daughters were still inside playing with
- 7:09the kids and so on and so I go inside.
- 7:15Also I told to go inside so I don't get a ticket when I'm when
- 7:19I'm prayed come back out and I just I see 1 old man across the
- 7:26road near Quiche and he's got a Israeli flag and the old sha
- 7:32flag. So took a quick picture as I'm
- 7:36taking the picture honestly, and I'm typing on for Instagram
- 7:40story about 10-15, maybe 20, something like that.
- 7:48Just 1015 cars pull up and they're going crazy nuts.
- 7:55Shahi flags, mad Persian music or whatever.
- 8:01And I see them park up and they're starting to make their
- 8:03way towards the markets, the centre.
- 8:08And so straight away I run to the car.
- 8:15I can run, you know, it's like a friend says, come on, you as
- 8:20well. Yeah.
- 8:20So straight away I see them coming.
- 8:23I see the threat. Yeah, I told my wife, look, I
- 8:27don't know, you don't know me. Stay in the car and stay safe.
- 8:31I come back in front of the centre and now they're starting
- 8:35to run towards the centre and there's quite a lot of them, I
- 8:37would say between 20 to 30, something like that.
- 8:42So I start going towards them and I'm looking their their
- 8:46faces baffled, like what is this?
- 8:48This guy, guy And I go, we would you not want we doing it?
- 8:51And then I was like, look, there's kids inside.
- 8:54Because I know every Saturday there's Arabic school and so on,
- 8:57and it's all kids and they go we don't care.
- 9:05F this, F this scholar, that scholar.
- 9:09OK, so I was like, yeah, is that what you're not doing?
- 9:13They said, yeah, I said, all right, cool, I'm going to beat
- 9:16you all up then. And then it's just kicked off
- 9:20from there. And then, you know, like when
- 9:22you're in in a fight or you're getting attacked by a lot of
- 9:25people, 15 seconds feels like 15 minutes.
- 9:29Yeah, Yeah. And then I don't know if you
- 9:33remember that scene in Lords of the Rings, I was telling you
- 9:36guys and he goes, you know, the wizard goes, you shall not pass.
- 9:40All I remember saying, Gandal not getting through.
- 9:44And I'm just chucking, I don't know, grabbing people.
- 9:47There's a guy, I see him trying to climb the fence outside the
- 9:51Islamic State. I just grab him.
- 9:53Honestly, I don't. Remember Hulk mode?
- 9:55Yeah, just for a look. I don't know how they weren't
- 9:58able to, you know, attack me properly because, you know, I'm,
- 10:02I'm okay. Numbered.
- 10:03Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was outnumbered big time, but
- 10:05I don't know, I was able to kind of like fight them off to a
- 10:08certain degree. You know, we've got a little
- 10:12Persian massage and that. Yeah, yeah.
- 10:14And I think of. The back and and whatnot, but.
- 10:17But all of this is like it started somewhere, right?
- 10:20So if we pull it back, there's this context.
- 10:23Yeah. So if we go back, well, we can
- 10:26go back all the way till, for example, the 7th of October and
- 10:28the events of Yeah. Even.
- 10:30Prior and prior to that, but this is when, for example, Iran
- 10:33went on the world map in terms of like the Western world and
- 10:37here, especially in the UK and the US and all these Western
- 10:41countries, they're like, OK, what is Iran doing?
- 10:44Who's it defending? Why is it taken, for example, on
- 10:46the Palestinian side? So Iran has been on everyone's
- 10:49minds. And now especially, I think in
- 10:50the last two weeks, you know, people turned to the news.
- 10:53They see, for example, something that started off as genuine
- 10:57protests has spiralled into violent, deadly riots across the
- 11:01nation. And saying all of that, my
- 11:06observation is it's not just riots, and it's not just, for
- 11:09example, demonstrations and protests.
- 11:12No, I see copies of the Quran being burnt.
- 11:16I see mosques being set ablaze. I see.
- 11:22Yeah. So they've gone to the extent
- 11:23where I feel like whatever's happening in Iran or whatever's
- 11:28has the back behind all these riots and things like that.
- 11:31As it goes back to one thing, look at the streets today.
- 11:35We look at the protests that they called protests when they
- 11:38came outside the Islamic centre. I think their intention was to
- 11:41attack the Islamic centre rather than protest.
- 11:44They're holding a certain flag and that flag goes back to the
- 11:48state of Israel. So it's not just that people are
- 11:51upset, for example, with Iran. No, I think there's a lot of
- 11:54elements here. These are people who are backed
- 11:56by a certain group, a certain state rather I would say.
- 11:59But they have this element of being anti Islam.
- 12:02Now as a Muslim yourself with Hamdallah, you were there, you
- 12:05went there for Salah, You're with your wife, you're with your
- 12:08with your daughter, but you're at the same time at the mosque.
- 12:13How did that feel? Knowing for example, I don't
- 12:17know how I would have reacted if that was me.
- 12:20Kindly for for me, I'll see for example, OK, I've got my wife,
- 12:22I've got my kids, I've got the mosque.
- 12:24I'll probably freeze if I'm honest in that moment.
- 12:26But you said, don't you put them?
- 12:28Aside, you said this is you said this is like a switch.
- 12:30This is a mosque. It's such a switch so.
- 12:33How have we? My question is, how have we gone
- 12:35from the protests and the riots and the murder and the killing
- 12:38that's happened in Iran to an issue now outside the Islamic
- 12:41centre? So this is the thing, this
- 12:47happened a few years ago as well.
- 12:48Yeah, few years ago it was even worse.
- 12:51They beat up a few people that were harassing old people, that
- 12:55beat up a few old people. It's just crazy now.
- 12:59A lot of the Shahi's did message me and they were condemning what
- 13:04they were doing. So I'm fed.
- 13:06I'm. Fed to them?
- 13:06That's interesting. But the reality of it is it's
- 13:14they should, they should not just only, you know, message me
- 13:18and say, look, we're against this.
- 13:19This shouldn't have happened. No, we need to see clear you,
- 13:23you guys know who they are. So you need to point them out
- 13:27and let the police deal with it. Honestly, when it happened, like
- 13:32I, I usually have a very hectic week.
- 13:34So Saturday's is kind of like just everything just a bit slow.
- 13:38And I was in slow motion mode. Yeah.
- 13:40And then as soon as it happened, I just, I just flipped like that
- 13:44within seconds. And I knew there was children
- 13:48inside. And I was like, listen, you're
- 13:52not getting in. No.
- 13:53No. Good for you man, No.
- 13:55Matter what happens, you're not getting in.
- 13:57But I'll tell you the beautiful thing about with everything that
- 13:59happened is a few hours after that, I put out a video.
- 14:06You know, it's telling everyone, let's assemble.
- 14:09Honestly, 2 to 300 people turned up.
- 14:12And I thought it was such a beautiful thing.
- 14:15Sure, at the end of the day on Sunday when they all, when we
- 14:18all got together, it got a bit out of hand.
- 14:22But we, I did me and you know, the other community leaders did
- 14:27try to control the situation. But generally speaking, it was a
- 14:33very beautiful thing to see because you see in the
- 14:35Shirazi's, the Sistanis, the Najafi, Karbalahi, com Irani,
- 14:42Avani, bro, even my Sunni friends.
- 14:45Gorgeous fucking well. I had a friend of mine, he's a
- 14:47Sunni from Surya that loves Jolani, and he came as well for
- 14:53me. Wow, Wallah.
- 14:55Yeah, it was. It was a beautiful thing to see
- 14:58and it got the community together, which was very
- 15:00important. OK, All right, I think this is
- 15:03interesting. Let's let's zoom out and talk
- 15:06about the bigger picture. So Iran, of course, has had,
- 15:11like you said, turbulence and a lot happening in the last few
- 15:14years from leaders and presidents and commanders and
- 15:20all sorts of high-ranking officials within the
- 15:22administration who have lost their lives for one reason or
- 15:24the other or in different ways and in different places.
- 15:27At the same time, we've also seen, and I think well, like as
- 15:32you alluded to, the rise of economic instability, right?
- 15:37A lot of this comes back to 2018 when Trump was in his first term
- 15:41and he retreated. We he pulled back from the
- 15:46JCPOA, the nuclear proliferation treaty with Iran, which Obama
- 15:50put in place. Of course, since 2018, Iran's
- 15:53been on a slow burnout economically to see economic
- 15:57instability. We've seen, as we know, oil
- 15:59prices have dropped massively in the last few months.
- 16:03And of course, China being the main buyer of Iran's oil, oil
- 16:07being the main export of Iran, that's hit them hard.
- 16:11Inflation all time high between 43 to 50% has like been its peak
- 16:17in the last few months. I think October, November is
- 16:18probably its peak. You know, between 2030% of
- 16:23people in Iran live beneath the poverty line.
- 16:26There's a water crisis. At the same time, the real is
- 16:30has depreciated to like, staggering lows.
- 16:33People are struggling if we're going to be frank and real.
- 16:36As of today, the real has lost 96% of its value.
- 16:40It's insane. So what tends to happen is then
- 16:43shopkeepers can't restock their shelves, parents can't feed
- 16:48their children in many cases, and people are struggling to be
- 16:51able to put a plan in place for how they're going to forecast
- 16:55their lives. So with all this into account,
- 16:59it makes sense to any human being to be able to speak up, to
- 17:04say what I need to say for the sake of being able to feed my
- 17:07family. Any human being, like you said,
- 17:09would defend their children and so on and so forth.
- 17:12I think one of the main differences we're seeing, one of
- 17:14the main questions are and I think when it comes to the
- 17:16reporting in the West, Western reporting, of course we've as
- 17:21you mentioned will inflate and overemphasize and maybe mislead
- 17:25the truth as to what's actually happening in the numbers.
- 17:27We've seen a maximum of only 12,000 people on on the streets
- 17:31in Iran, which is a very small it's less than 0.001% of the
- 17:36total population which is actually been out there.
- 17:40Of course, we've also seen other contradictory reports which say
- 17:43that up to 4000 people have lost lives from security forces.
- 17:46As they say in 12,020 thousand that's.
- 17:48What I'm saying, there's numbers everywhere, but at the same
- 17:51time, we have to remember that the Western reporting of it is
- 17:55that the Iranian people want secularization, right?
- 17:59They want to topple the government and they want to
- 18:02create a new administration, a new revolution.
- 18:05Whereas people in Iran, Iran, perhaps popular opinion or the
- 18:09opinion of perhaps those on the streets might not be
- 18:11secularization, but right perhaps, maybe just reformation.
- 18:15So maybe because we saw in the 12 day war last year that the
- 18:19Iranian people were in many cases publicly supportive of
- 18:23their government's foreign policy positions when it comes
- 18:26to defending the region and their own nation right against
- 18:29foreign intruders and attacks on their country.
- 18:31However, does that also mean that they are anti the Islamic
- 18:36government, the Islamic Republic?
- 18:38Does that mean that there are calls for secularization?
- 18:40We've seen so many riots and protests in the last 15 years.
- 18:4420/10/2011 2019-2020 12023 We've seen the Mass Amini protest, We
- 18:51saw the water crisis protest. We've seen protest after protest
- 18:54after protest. But to this day, of course, the
- 18:57administration still stands and people are still very split.
- 19:02So I'm talking a lot, but I just want to get off my chest.
- 19:04It's such a diverse country, right?
- 19:06You've got Azari Turks, you've got Balochistani, you've got
- 19:09Hazaras, you've got Arabs, you've got native Iranians.
- 19:12So you've got people, all these denominations and backgrounds
- 19:15from different regions who spoke multiple languages and different
- 19:18religions. For them to unite in any
- 19:21circumstance is very difficult. So I wanted to ask kind of just
- 19:24to as a precursor with all of this in context, what is the
- 19:28reason for the instability? Is it a culmination of political
- 19:34instability, foreign policy and stability, economic instability,
- 19:38or is it primarily regime change as we're hearing reported?
- 19:44So I feel like there's a few ways to answer that.
- 19:47I think look there one point that needs to be mentioned is
- 19:53there are that sorry there isn't a statistics or research that
- 20:00shows us. How many people are with the
- 20:03Iranian government and how many are against?
- 20:06But I'm I'm speaking based upon my, you know, understanding and,
- 20:14you know, at the end of the day, I'm Iranian as well.
- 20:16And so I'm looking at how things are.
- 20:20It seems like the country is split into three.
- 20:22In my humble opinion. You have hardcore when I tell
- 20:26fucking fully with the government.
- 20:29Then you have another group that is with the government but don't
- 20:34like some stuff. They want some, you know, reform
- 20:38in certain areas and so on. And then you have the ones that
- 20:42are fully against the government.
- 20:45The ones that are fully against the government are a minority.
- 20:49I promise you what we are seeing is the power of of the media.
- 20:57You can never defeat Britain, America and Europe and the West
- 21:04with regards to their media. It's so powerful.
- 21:08Iran. It's narrative controlling.
- 21:10Yeah, it's, it's literally that. It's like Malawi behaviour.
- 21:14That's what it is. Honestly control the narrative.
- 21:19And you know, they made it seem like there are 1,000,000, not
- 21:23millions. Actually.
- 21:24What we saw is the protests against the rioters in Bahrain.
- 21:30I think it was yesterday or the day before, it was millions upon
- 21:34millions upon millions. And So what they're doing is, is
- 21:39they're making it bigger than it is.
- 21:41And so there's the sanctions. That's one, by the way, I don't
- 21:46know how for over 40 years this government has been able to do
- 21:50what is and survive with the sanctions.
- 21:52Secondly, I think it's important to mention that this was the
- 22:00second attack of Israel. They thought this will topple
- 22:06them. This is what they actually
- 22:07thought. You know that, But it didn't
- 22:09work because you remember the first time in the beginning of
- 22:12the 12 Day war, what did they do?
- 22:14It was all of them. What's it called?
- 22:18Traitors and so on. That did what they did and that
- 22:20first day that killed so many commanders and so on.
- 22:23So there's all these elements that come together that like in
- 22:28the beginning, the protest was just about inflation and so on,
- 22:31right? And then they used it for their
- 22:34momentum to kind of push it. And bro, I think it was in like
- 22:38within a matter of a few days, the, the Iranian pound just
- 22:44collapsed like crazy. They're playing with it.
- 22:48They want Iran gone. They, I totally believe they're
- 22:52going to hit Iran and it's going to be a major war coming do.
- 22:55You think, do you think we've seen examples of this before?
- 22:58So there's, there's, there's a term which in international
- 23:01relations, which we use for cases like this, it's called
- 23:05casus bellai. It's a Latin term which
- 23:07basically means the case for war or the justification for war.
- 23:12Building consent. Building consent and kind of
- 23:15setting a narrative, setting a case for war.
- 23:19So, for example, Iranian people, look what's happened to your
- 23:22economy, look at the state of your country, look at where your
- 23:25position is regionally. You've lost your regional
- 23:27allies, you've lost Syria, you've lost your support,
- 23:30resistance support in the region.
- 23:31With the Axis, we now have a situation where you can either
- 23:36overthrow your government, come into power, we'll support you,
- 23:39we'll back you, or you can live under these circumstances and
- 23:43you can't feed your children. You know, sorry to interrupt.
- 23:47Yesterday I was watching Piers Morgan and they brought on this
- 23:51American, sorry, Iranian professor, Professor Mohammed
- 23:55Morandi. Morandi, yes.
- 23:57And you know, you know, you look at Piers Morgan, he.
- 24:02Hates. They hate each other.
- 24:04No, no, he hates Iran. Yeah, they hate each other.
- 24:07And, and you know what, Yeah, when you ask him and I've seen
- 24:11him on him mention it all, the whole thing about the hijab, the
- 24:18whole thing about not allowing, you know, woman to do certain
- 24:23things or all of them things that they have a problem with
- 24:26the woman, like freedom. Yeah, that stuff they want, they
- 24:31want Iran to be Westernised. If you know, if you remember
- 24:37Geolani when he first took over Surya, all of the reporters, do
- 24:45you know what they were asking him?
- 24:47Dude are you going to make sure that the woman have to wear
- 24:50hijab? Yeah, I remember.
- 24:51This I say what's? Wrong with you guys.
- 24:53That was in the 1st. What did you want them to?
- 24:55Yeah. And it like does, does, does.
- 24:57Do you want all the women to be naked?
- 24:58What's going on? Yeah, that.
- 25:01Why is that such an issue for you?
- 25:03In Islam, a woman wears hijab. She's obliged you colours.
- 25:09That's what it is like. What more do you want?
- 25:11They want to push. Push democracy.
- 25:14You might have you. I don't want your worldview.
- 25:17Yeah. You're doing good, America.
- 25:19Good for you. No, the I do think by the way,
- 25:27any, any Western professor or academic that's smart and really
- 25:33has understood the different civilizations and empires in
- 25:36history, they would know that what America's doing now is
- 25:41overstretching itself. Spain was a great empire, one of
- 25:45the richest in history. It overstretched itself.
- 25:48War, war, war, war. They couldn't keep up anymore.
- 25:51It went same thing with the Ottomans.
- 25:54Overstretched itself, overstretched itself, and it
- 25:56weakened itself. When you get weakened, you're
- 25:58going to get eaten by the other empires or civilizations or
- 26:02whatever. Same thing with America.
- 26:06What Donald Trump is doing is actually accelerating the the
- 26:10downfall of America, but they just don't.
- 26:13I don't, I don't know why. No, no, like nationalists that's
- 26:17studied history is saying this to them.
- 26:20It's a stupid move. Venezuela.
- 26:22Like, bro, I thought I was watching a Hollywood movie.
- 26:25I see a report today in Venezuela.
- 26:27Do you know what I was saying? One of the, I think gods of the
- 26:33president or I don't know, ex president of Venezuela.
- 26:36Yeah, he was saying. They, they did something to us.
- 26:42Our blood started coming out of our noses.
- 26:45We collapsed on the floor. We couldn't do anything.
- 26:50Our radar systems, everything just stopped.
- 26:52Everything was our electrical stuff.
- 26:55Everything. Stopped.
- 26:56Yeah. These guys have like, it's
- 26:58crazy. Like you think it's a Hollywood
- 27:00movie. Honestly, it's nuts.
- 27:03Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 27:05Before you skip this part, before you continue with the
- 27:08podcast Run Sisters rising Dawn. The annual aftermarket event is

- 27:31celebrate the life and legacy of the awaited saviour, Imam Mehdi,
- 27:35Agile Allah to Allah for the Sharif.
- 27:37I'd love to see you there. And Charlotte, tell your
- 27:39friends, tell your family. Two weeks to go.
- 27:41And now back to the episode. Yeah, man, yeah.
- 27:45It's a crazy world, daddy. I'm, I'm, when you look at the
- 27:48world today, you would never, ever realise and you would see
- 27:51world leaders or governments acting the way they do.
- 27:55And if I just come back to Iran, for example, I, I really believe
- 28:01they've, they've sacrificed a lot for a lot of causes.
- 28:04One, for example, Philistine, because if we're, if we're
- 28:07honest, Iran can simply, for example, say, you know what,
- 28:11let's shake hands with Trump. Let's become more westernized.
- 28:15Let's take this democracy that the US is trying to install in
- 28:19every country. In fact, you know what?
- 28:20Let's become friends and neighbors with Israel, for
- 28:24example, and they can live the best life.
- 28:27They can have the best infrastructure.
- 28:29They can have the best economy. They can have.
- 28:31They can have the best of the best that's being sold to the
- 28:34world by the West, right? But they choose not to.
- 28:37But that means, number one, I think there is some values and
- 28:39principles they stand for. And at the same time, I don't
- 28:43think it's just they choose to know something drives them
- 28:46towards that. Nothing that comes back to the
- 28:48spirituality and it being, for example, the Islamic Republic of
- 28:52Iran and then just come out of nowhere, people actually devoted
- 28:55to have an Islamic Republic. If you go all the way back, the
- 28:59majority of the people in Iran chose to have an Islam Islamic
- 29:01Republic of Iran. Overthrew the but.
- 29:04What we see now, for example, this whole new things of women
- 29:07like freedom, this whole thing of OK, your economy situation is
- 29:12in such a way because this Iran is using its money to fund
- 29:16Palestine, for example, known as the sanctions.
- 29:19If we go back to everything, everything leads back to either
- 29:21the US sanctions or the hands of Israel.
- 29:24Israel How much more can they take?
- 29:29As. As as it is because you
- 29:30mentioned, for example, people worry about feeding their
- 29:33families. People worry about, for example,
- 29:34making sure their children are able to live an honourable life.
- 29:38For example, even their wives that give them an honourable
- 29:41life. Yeah, there is this worry, but
- 29:43they also have the other feeling, which is, for example,
- 29:46sacrifice Al jar to Madar like these sort of things.
- 29:50Like what drives them to do this?
- 29:52I look today, over 40 years, I don't think anyone can do that.
- 29:56And on top of all of that, during all that time, you can
- 29:59still have the highest level of education, you can still have
- 30:02functioning infrastructure, you can have so many things.
- 30:05You know what it is? I'll tell.
- 30:06You what it is, Yeah, I'll tell you what it is that the issue
- 30:08which the line which we, we have to understand with Iran is that
- 30:14firstly with like you said about education, literacy rate for for
- 30:18women is higher than men than Iran, 98.9% of women, 98.3% of
- 30:24men are literate. The thing about Iran is they
- 30:28want female engineers, but they want female engineers who wear
- 30:32the hijab. Do you understand?
- 30:35And that line, well, either that that line, when it's
- 30:38exacerbated, I'm stood on a broader like theological scale
- 30:42for how the country's run, it either triggers and antagonises
- 30:46the people who ideologically disagree with Ilan's running
- 30:49infrastructure or people side with it, right?
- 30:53Because this is not, for example, like when the West
- 30:55looks at Ilan and they see mandatory hijab and veils and
- 30:59covering and so on and so forth and morality police and so on.
- 31:03They see it as a Taliban esque informative government, right?
- 31:08It doesn't work like that. The difference is that in these
- 31:11countries, they don't, for example, endorse the education
- 31:17of women, the publicity of women to be news anchors and to be,
- 31:21you know, space engineers and so on and so forth.
- 31:24Iran and Iran they do. The difference is that they want
- 31:28these sisters to observe hijab, hijab Italian, like you said, as
- 31:33an obligation towards their Islamic duties.
- 31:35Now, that's such an enigma when you look at it on a global
- 31:38scale, because there's no country as big as Iran, as
- 31:41populated as Iran, as diverse, as educated and as woke.
- 31:45In many senses, Iranian people are quite woke.
- 31:48Do you know what I mean? In the sense of they, they have
- 31:50a real world understanding, like you said.
- 31:52How does a country who's for 47 years since the revolution has
- 31:56survived despite being pulled to its knees on so many occasions
- 32:00the year after the revolution, engaging in an 8 year war with
- 32:02Saddam. And then since then being put
- 32:05under such scrutiny from the global stage, from the
- 32:08international community. Whether it's human rights,
- 32:10whether it's the sanctions, whether it's political pressures
- 32:13from neighbors, whether it's internal riots and bombings and
- 32:19car bombs and assassination, all sorts of bits and pieces which
- 32:21have happened for decades and decades.
- 32:24How they kept going there is a determination there.
- 32:27What I want to understand is now today with all of this context,
- 32:31me as a Shia, I'm living in the West.
- 32:33I have no affiliate affinity or affiliation to Iran, not
- 32:37Iranian, don't have family there, have friends there, so on
- 32:40so forth. We know people doesn't mean we
- 32:42agree or disagree. OK, but I as a, as a Muslim or
- 32:46just as a human being living in the West, I can't imagine a
- 32:49world where, for example, there's a telecommunications
- 32:52blackout where the Internet shut off and you know, people can't
- 32:56reach one another. There is the perspective that
- 33:00and, and of course the reasoning that this was done because you
- 33:04can then spot foreign entities or foreign networks which are,
- 33:08which are live. And then you can spot, for
- 33:09example, any risks, anyone who's who's receiving like for
- 33:14example, Starlink or whatever it might be.
- 33:16But at the same time, there's also scrutiny that people should
- 33:18be able to communicate with their loved ones.
- 33:20You know, how does someone approach that kind of
- 33:22information living overseas when they see?
- 33:26Because when we saw in Gaza the blackout which happened, you
- 33:30know, the thought process for many people is different.
- 33:34How do we approach that when we look at it from here?
- 33:38We got to look at things for the roots, like what's the, the
- 33:42difference between what's happening in Iran and what's
- 33:45happening in Gaza? What was happening in Gaza,
- 33:49shall we say? Not that it stopped, but as in
- 33:54quote, UN quote, the war has stopped, right?
- 33:58Is that in Gaza? The, the roots of it is what is
- 34:04that? This is Palestinian land.
- 34:06Israel shouldn't exist. Like this is something new,
- 34:12right? When it comes to Iran, the roots
- 34:15of it is you have a superpower in the world, America, and then
- 34:22you have its little pet in the Middle East called Israel that
- 34:27are trying to destroy this government.
- 34:30And so I'll ask you when you are getting all of this information.
- 34:37So the rioters and there's, there's actual evidence for it.
- 34:40They are receiving information, they are receiving messages from
- 34:45the what's it called, the Mossad and so on instructions.
- 34:49And, and by the way, Israelis reporters are clearly saying it,
- 34:56our Mossad agents are on the ground.
- 34:58I think even Trump said it as well.
- 35:00They're on the ground. Today I saw on Channel 14, which
- 35:03is an Israeli news channel, they had someone there who speaks on
- 35:06behalf of the government and he said it clearly.
- 35:08And when he translate the tweet that they were quoting him, what
- 35:11he was saying on that on the anchor segment, he was like,
- 35:14we're providing them weapons and they're openly admitting that
- 35:18they have the anchor. Like, I'll tell you something
- 35:22and and I want all the Shahis that might watch this.
- 35:25I want you to kind of think with me.
- 35:28Look, I'm a human being and I'm sitting here right in front of
- 35:31you and I'm not talking to the Shahis that don't have any brain
- 35:37cells. By the way, just as a quick
- 35:40note, you know what one of them did?
- 35:42The guy that I grabbed off the fence, So when I grabbed them
- 35:46off, I threw them off or whatever it was.
- 35:50I swear to you guys like this. To me, I was like, bro, what's
- 35:54wrong with this guy? They were all weirdos.
- 35:57Anyway, to the Shahies, I tell you this.
- 36:00Look, I'm a human being, and no human being wants to see other
- 36:07human beings die. If they're good people, I don't
- 36:10come. I've never been raised where I'm
- 36:13happy to see innocent people being killed.
- 36:17But when I'm looking at the situation, I am seeing
- 36:23protesters that became rioters. Those rioters are Islamophobes.
- 36:30They are insulting the Prophet, they are insulting Islam, they
- 36:35are insulting the Quran. They are.
- 36:37I've seen them insult, say, the Zahra, Alayhi, Salaam, Wahuddha
- 36:40Billah, Imam Ali and Emma, burning buildings down, burning
- 36:47mosques, burning, you know, shrines down, throwing, what's
- 36:53it, petrol bombs at children and so on.
- 36:57When I'm seeing that and I'm looking at the government, I'm
- 37:01like, So what do you expect the government to do?
- 37:04I'm seeing like Iranians on Internet crying like, oh, what's
- 37:10happening on in Iran? What do you expect?
- 37:13I mean, how do how do you what do you want the government to
- 37:16do? Give you flowers?
- 37:18Ha Salaam habibi. How are you?
- 37:20John Azizam for Saint John Karma sabzi the AL Hey, there's a
- 37:25flower. Oh, you burn a mosque.
- 37:26How you got heavy? There's $100.
- 37:28What do you want them to do? Mukathy by?
- 37:31Let's let's be honest, it's clear that Israel is behind it
- 37:37and America's behind it. And the second thing is you
- 37:40Shahies now holding the Israeli flags, you're done, you're
- 37:45finished, it's done. And you made it a religious war.
- 37:49You made it a religious war coming to the Islamic centre of
- 37:54England. Yeah.
- 37:56Or not even just that. What you're doing, the insulting
- 37:59of the prophet, the Islam and so on.
- 38:02And then now they're joining up with who?
- 38:04Tel Aviv, Tommy. Tommy Robertson.
- 38:06Hey. Alyssa Adna recently.
- 38:09Nigel Farage. Yeah, so it's all the same
- 38:13group. What I'm trying to say is, is,
- 38:16and then you got the quote, UN quote, the Prince of Iran, the
- 38:22son of the Shah, he's telling Trump to bomb Iran.
- 38:26That's mad. What last man?
- 38:28Yeah, and he, I don't know where you guys want to go with it, but
- 38:32it's like I said, and I said it in my speech, no matter what you
- 38:38do, we will always be victorious.
- 38:43Because if you kill us, then we are martyrs.
- 38:48And if you don't kill us, we will fight to the last breath.
- 38:53We are the sons of Karbala, we are the sons of Abu Fabal Abbas,
- 38:58we are the sons of Ali Al Akbar, Imam al Hussain.
- 39:02We just don't lose losing there. There isn't something that could
- 39:07happen to us that will allow us to lose.
- 39:10You kill us, we were victorious. You don't kill us, we'll fight
- 39:14until the end. We will not stop.
- 39:19You want to be able to coexist? I'm talking here, even the UK.
- 39:26Let's have a dialogue. While I'm willing to debate you
- 39:28guys, let's debate. I'm willing any of the Shahis to
- 39:31come forward, message me, I'll debate them.
- 39:35I honestly would. And then there's another thing
- 39:38as well I want to talk about is I was taken back and I was
- 39:47Hamdallah. I was very happy.
- 39:48Mashallah. Like a lot of brothers stand up,
- 39:51but I want to remind the brothers that didn't turn up and
- 39:55the brothers that couldn't turn up.
- 39:58The ones that couldn't, that's a different story.
- 40:01People happen like Brother Ahmad, and they say it.
- 40:03They had things, but they sent their message.
- 40:05They were like, listen, we're with you, our Dazs are with you.
- 40:08But the people that didn't turn up or the people that are
- 40:13thinking about, Yeah, but my business.
- 40:16Yeah, but you know, I want to fly to this country or that
- 40:19country, man up. It's a this is, this is when
- 40:24manhood is is shown. It's for you to sacrifice.
- 40:27I've heard for you to be able to sacrifice, Yani.
- 40:30When we look at Imam Ali, Ali Salaam, when we look at the
- 40:34biography of the Emma, when we look at the biography of the
- 40:38Prophet, it's all about sacrifice.
- 40:41Yani. Some, some people want to talk
- 40:43about, no, I can't do this because it's going to affect my
- 40:49social media or I don't want to put my face or I don't want to
- 40:52do this. Listen, I understand everyone's
- 40:58got businesses and important things in their life.
- 41:01Do you think I want to be out there, Butler?
- 41:05But we have to sacrifice for things that are important.
- 41:08If Iran falls, and I'm talking about the government, remember
- 41:13who is leading the riots? Who is leading the attacks on
- 41:18the government? It's not people that are unhappy
- 41:21with the government and that's it.
- 41:23No, it's people that hate Islam, which means they are against the
- 41:28government. There's a difference.
- 41:31I think one thing I want to ask is specifically on this point
- 41:34when you talk about this year in the West, this is where we
- 41:36wanted to take the discussion now kind of the the implications
- 41:40on us as a community and as people living in, in, in, in the
- 41:43Western world, You know, you'll always, you'll always have
- 41:48difference of opinion. So you'll have those who say
- 41:51it's not feasible for me to help put my livelihood at risk.
- 41:54Like you said, my family, my, my job, so on and so forth.
- 41:59But what I'm more concerned about or what I'm more curious
- 42:02about, you said something in your video.
- 42:04So it doesn't matter whether you're Shirazi, you're reliety,
- 42:07you're a Sistani guy or whatever it is, you come together, you
- 42:11defend your centres. I want to ask you before the
- 42:15podcast, a friend said to me, he said, but I've grown up in a
- 42:19community or I've grown up around people and friends and
- 42:23their their families have said, well, A, they hadn't done
- 42:28anything for us, Why should we do anything for them?
- 42:32And B, well, prior to the revolution, there's never been
- 42:36an attack on the Houser. Before 79, there was never any
- 42:40attack on the Houser in Qom. So why should we be concerned
- 42:44about a potential of an attack on the Houser should the Islamic
- 42:47government fall? I want to ask you what you think
- 42:49about those two things. That's a good point.
- 42:51So I, I, I had a friend of mine that said the same thing, that,
- 42:55look, the Shah didn't do anything to the Hells or
- 42:57anything like that. And it's true to a certain
- 43:00degree, But remember, the Shah is different to what we're
- 43:06seeing with these people. This is the main point.
- 43:10Sorry for so many reasons. The Shah didn't show that he had
- 43:14animosity towards Islam. Yeah.
- 43:16These ones do. He just showed he's a bit, he's
- 43:19a liberal and and so on, right? He didn't show that he hated
- 43:23Islam. No, his his wife used to go to
- 43:27Ziara Najaf like it's a known thing.
- 43:29Yeah, I'm going. I'm basing it upon what I'm
- 43:33seeing now. Was he a tyrant and so on.
- 43:36That's another discussion. But generally speaking,
- 43:39generally speaking, there, there isn't nothing to me suggested
- 43:45that he hated Islam. He was a self-proclaimed Muslim.
- 43:48Sorry Habir, he was self-proclaimed Muslim.
- 43:51Who's to publicly sin? It was a known thing.
- 43:53For example, the US president would go to Iran on New Year's
- 43:57Eve every year and drink wine with the Shah.
- 44:00It's a known thing. Or, for example, that the Shah
- 44:03himself would assume that the scholars in Qom were just like
- 44:09monks who lived in their own Zod and they never engaged in
- 44:13anything. And they want to be taken
- 44:14seriously. Yeah, I'll tell you.
- 44:15Look at these old guys. They're living in their robes.
- 44:18They have no money. Little did they know, of course,
- 44:20that the root of the, the, the revolution had come from those
- 44:24circles. So I think now and also not to
- 44:26mention the foreign actors 70 years ago talking about from
- 44:301952 with Mossadegh and when that started, the CIA operation,
- 44:34when, when that started then compared to where we are now 74
- 44:38years later, it's very different world we're living in.
- 44:41You know what I mean? If you're talking about the
- 44:43state of Israel or the entity of Israel and what they are now
- 44:46versus what what they were then, as you know, a newly formed
- 44:52land, in some sense, it's not the same dynamics.
- 44:57So I think for those who say, oh, well, we can expect nothing
- 45:00would happen to the Houser should anything bro, after the
- 45:04after 47 years of the revolution, they've seen what
- 45:07the Houser has produced and they've seen what ideologies
- 45:10come out. I.
- 45:11Hate for the religion has increased.
- 45:13Of course, of course. And by the way there.
- 45:15There's ideological. Yeah, and, and there's a point
- 45:18as well to mention is I've seen people say that.
- 45:21Oh look, they hate Islam because of the government I mean.
- 45:29Well, they hate hijab because of the government.
- 45:31I hear that a lot. I hear.
- 45:32That, yeah, I mean, I mean in the time of Imam Ali, Ali
- 45:36Salaam, when we look at when he became the Khalifa, they, the
- 45:42the people in his time were already practising things based
- 45:46upon the Sunnah of the Sheikhane.
- 45:51And even even with them, when it came to Imam Ali establishing
- 45:58his Falafa, remember he, he went through war number one German,
- 46:02Safin Nahrawan. By the time he got to Nahrawan,
- 46:06Nahrawan is who they came from, his army.
- 46:11The Qawwalis came from his army, Yeah.
- 46:12Yeah. Yeah, no, we don't want to fight
- 46:14anymore. I remember in a book called
- 46:17Kitab Al Khawat, it's one of the classical books of of war,
- 46:25sorry, one of the classical books of Mahazi, or should we
- 46:30say books on history or Mahazi? Mahazi usually a term used for
- 46:35the prophet. And in this book he mentions
- 46:41where and the whole the whole book is is is around the whole
- 46:49event of Safin, the battle of Safin.
- 46:52And they were saying no, I think, I think with the report,
- 46:56my memory says right. He says, no, we're cold.
- 46:59We don't want to fight anymore. I've.
- 47:02Seen that? These are the type of things
- 47:04that was happening. They were growing tired.
- 47:07They were like, no, we want to go to Mahalia.
- 47:10You know, Mahalia has good food. All of these things.
- 47:14It happens all the time. Yeah, people like honestly, by
- 47:19the way, I think even al Shia put put aside the Shahis al Shia
- 47:23when Imam al Mahdi reappears, I don't know what, because most of
- 47:29us don't read books of Hadith. You're going to be shocked or
- 47:33some of the, you know, some of the Hakam on certain matters,
- 47:41like when you're, when you're, when people are going to see,
- 47:43for example, capital punishment and so on.
- 47:46People are going to be shocked. People are not used to, we've
- 47:50been so liberalised, we've been so Westernised.
- 47:53It's unbelievable. And this is the same thing in
- 47:57Iran, in Iran, by the way, you know, you see them, they, they,
- 48:00they, they just want to be American, Habibi.
- 48:04Well, I told my cousins back home, I'm like, I'm, they, they
- 48:07think we're living a good life. I'm like, Habibi, at least where
- 48:11you are, you know what a man is or what a woman is Here.
- 48:14They're still having discussions what a man is and what a woman
- 48:17is. They, he, she, who he some like
- 48:23it's, it's a different world. And so Iran as a society,
- 48:29believe me, majority of them are not actually against the
- 48:33government. And if the if America and so on
- 48:38take over, they're not, I'm not telling you they're going to go
- 48:40and destroy Meshed or the shrines.
- 48:44But based upon what we're seeing and who's leading this
- 48:50revolution, it's Islamophobes. Let's just say how it is.
- 48:56It's Islamophobes. They hate Islam, hate it.
- 49:03You know, you mentioned about lessons from the holy Imam
- 49:06Alayhi Salaam. I think at a time like this is
- 49:08so important to understand what position to play.
- 49:11We talk said I, I said Ali and I always talk about how to know
- 49:16what to enact at which time, how to gain that level of matalafa
- 49:21where you understand our traditions to such a degree
- 49:24where you start to personify them like the energy and the the
- 49:30clock of the Imams Aliyah Musalaam and how they carried
- 49:33themselves at certain times when they were vocal and when they
- 49:36were less so, and how to how to enact the right lessons at the
- 49:41right times, if that makes sense.
- 49:43Of course, all lessons of that in my label, Salaam and the Holy
- 49:46Prophet Muhammad, of course, are lessons to be learned from.
- 49:51Now, as I mentioned earlier, we're of course at the time of
- 49:54the shihadis of our 7th Holy Imam, Ali Salaam said, I know
- 49:59that this is something like you mentioned to me the other day.
- 50:02A lot of us don't know enough about the Holy Imam.
- 50:05And one thing we do know, and that's one thing we do always
- 50:09reflect on, is that our 7th Holy Imam was unique in his struggle
- 50:14compared to the rest of the Imams.
- 50:17And what he went through was so, so difficult that he had to have
- 50:22that personal strength that you're talking about.
- 50:25So when you're offered the comfort of shelter and warmth
- 50:28and food, will you say no to that to stay on the path of
- 50:33Surat al Mustaqeen? Because I'm sure the Imam was
- 50:35offered this. We have the Wyatt about the Imam
- 50:38being offered every worldly pleasure during his captivity
- 50:41that we can imagine during the 2421 years of his captivity that
- 50:47you know was possible to him. But he remained firm on the part
- 50:51of Darreid and he remained true to his message and to his to his
- 50:57his belief in Allah sponta Allah.
- 50:59He never wavered. Why do you think at times like
- 51:02this is so important to reflect on what we have from from
- 51:04mammoth Carter, but I saw. Also, so it's a very good
- 51:08question. You mentioned Ahmed and I, I, I
- 51:10think if you're going to ask me, I'm going to say straight up, I
- 51:13mean that's, that's the expectation that we should have
- 51:17a Shia. Like in any struggle we're in,
- 51:20in any situation we find ourself, firstly, we go back to,
- 51:24if we're struggling, we turn to Allah Azza Wajal and we come, we
- 51:27come across these hadiths that if there is a struggle, there is
- 51:30oppression. If there is things going on, if
- 51:32we can use our hands, we use it. If we can use our voice, we use
- 51:35it. And if we can't, it's all in the
- 51:36heart. And that's why Rasulullah
- 51:38Muhammad sallallallahu alaihi was telling him.
- 51:39But if we come to Imam Al Khavam Ali in Salaam, you mentioned he
- 51:43was in captivity at things. And something that strikes me is
- 51:46that he preferred to be in captivity because he used that
- 51:50time and opportunity to worship Allah, spano to Allah.
- 51:54And that makes you think, yeah, if if if prison became your
- 51:58mosque, I imagine he turns Halla decision into a a place where he
- 52:03can worship. Like how do you reach that
- 52:06stage? You have to be something I I've
- 52:08always mentioned on so much podcast.
- 52:09How did maitham become become maitham at Tamar?
- 52:12How did Amar become Amar al Yasir?
- 52:14It wasn't just because, OK, the Allah were born Muslim.
- 52:16We pray five times a day. No, they took their Deen
- 52:20seriously. They took what are Allah asked
- 52:23us to stick to seriously. They listened to the imams that
- 52:28there was that level where as a Shiite we call ourselves
- 52:31believers and Manian how because Imam Ali is Amir al Ammanian,
- 52:36for example, right And this is something on the link for a
- 52:39second. When we say belief is and when
- 52:41we talk about for example, Iran and this whole thing you
- 52:43mentioned, you have the friends who said the story and what not
- 52:46is Subhan Allah. Last week, literally last week,
- 52:50Ahmed had a discussion with someone who who told me clear
- 52:55cut would like no barrier, no filter.
- 53:01He was like what you why are you voicing support for when I did
- 53:04for example, things like that and they made me realise we're
- 53:09still in the stage where we still have our differences of
- 53:13things right. If Imam and Mehdi comes now, I'd
- 53:17Allah to Allah, Farid al Sharif, we may say he's not the Imam.
- 53:21From what point? Because we're still busy
- 53:24focusing on making individuals as our focal point in life.
- 53:27Everything comes back to. Why disunity, Everything comes
- 53:30back to He's not from my line. Everything comes back to and
- 53:34This is why we've reached the stage where we are today where I
- 53:36think we don't know what we're doing as a community, as Shia.
- 53:38Because everyone's made their own school, everyone's made
- 53:41their own cult. In many ways, everyone's made
- 53:44their own separation. I can't be friends with certain
- 53:47people. I can't talk about certain
- 53:49things were brushed in in particular ways.
- 53:52Well, if we come back to it, no Anekunda Shia, Anekunda Shia,
- 53:55Allah, Muslimin, Mulwalin to the and to the Prophet.
- 53:59And it's sad. It's sad that as a Shia, a non
- 54:04Shia, you can tell me you can't support your own in a situation
- 54:07like this. It's worrying.
- 54:09That is very worrying. I'll tell you something.
- 54:11There's a hadith found in Sunni books where it's from Imam
- 54:18Sajjad al Salaam. He says we used to teach the the
- 54:23Saraya and Mahazi. So in in short, the biography of
- 54:29the Prophet as we used to teach the Quran.
- 54:35The beautiful thing about the Sierra of the Prophet and the
- 54:39Imams, and when you study it is that for every situation you
- 54:48have an answer. Why?
- 54:51Because you've studied their lives now.
- 54:53Yeah. How did you deal with this
- 54:56political thing? How did you deal with this
- 54:58social thing? How did you deal with this
- 55:00family problem? How did you deal with people
- 55:03that are deviants? How did you deal with selfish
- 55:05people? How did you deal with rich
- 55:07people, poor people, woman, children, slaves, servants,
- 55:12maids, all of these things? And the beautiful thing about
- 55:18understanding their life is that it shows us this important
- 55:23principle that we all have to start understanding much better.
- 55:28Which is because I feel like there are one side of the
- 55:33community, just hard, hardcore politics.
- 55:40Then you have another side of the community, hardcore, just
- 55:45like Al Qaidi stuff. Then you have another side of
- 55:49the community, just Latham and FEMA.
- 55:53Then you have another side. It's just she has just a
- 55:58somewhat of a identity. This is born into it.
- 56:02Politics is religion and religion is politics.
- 56:10Why? What do I mean by that?
- 56:12Tell me the way that we navigate through these political
- 56:20situations and events that are taking place.
- 56:25It must be through the lens of Islam, the world view of Islam.
- 56:31It's like when you put your glasses on.
- 56:34That's how you view things through the lens of the Quran
- 56:37and the Sunnah by the understanding of Ali Beit Ali
- 56:41Hamous Sanam, That's how you viewed these political scenes.
- 56:46So when you say like your friend, don't worry, I've got
- 56:49friends like that, I spoil light and Fati.
- 56:54OK, First of all, like right now, this support has actually
- 56:58got nothing to do with light and Fati realistically.
- 57:02So if you look at Imam Sajjad in his dua Dua Ali Thor, who's he
- 57:09making dua for the army of Benny Umaya.
- 57:13Benny Umaya, yes, people, people, he's making the arful
- 57:20Benny Umaya. Why?
- 57:22Because because even of how bad Benny Umaya is, but at the at
- 57:32least if the Christians were came in and destroyed the
- 57:38Muslims completely took out all the Muslims, killed everyone,
- 57:44the Dean is gone. While when you have Benny
- 57:47Almaya, at least with with that government, everything in it is
- 57:53protected to a certain degree. Do you understand what I'm
- 57:57saying to you? Sure, they hated that, albeit
- 57:59Sahaya, not all of them, but they hated that albeit and they
- 58:04didn't like the Shiah of Ali. I'm Sahaya but the Shiah of Ali
- 58:08was living where? In the Muslim lands that were
- 58:11ruled by who? The Omeids.
- 58:14So there is a must have by the way.
- 58:16Well I'm not well with the Birla making the comparison of the
- 58:20Iranian government with Benny Almaya but I'm I'm just showing
- 58:22you I'm like Benny Almaya is so bad yet the imam is making doubt
- 58:26for them. So what about a government
- 58:29that's saying Allah, Allah, Allah, Muhammad and Rasool
- 58:32Allah, Ali and Wali Allah? What do you want me to do with
- 58:35that? And what will happen with all of
- 58:38the resistance in the world? The only country that's been
- 58:43firmed the way that it has been with the Palestine issue is
- 58:48Iran. Iran, as I remember, the Salafi
- 58:50scholar, Athwan Al Khanis, Oh God, the Kuwaiti scholar, what
- 58:55he says, well, he he says it. I see it the other day.
- 58:59He goes back in the day before the Iranian revolution is that
- 59:03we still live with Shias. Everything was cool, but when
- 59:09the revolution happened, the Shia now started to have what
- 59:16was I don't want to like misquote him.
- 59:18They became paraphrasing. They became proud.
- 59:20They. Became more like proud and, you
- 59:23know, they, they had more strength to them.
- 59:26On the Shia, yeah. On the Shia, yes.
- 59:29And then and then he goes, he goes, he doesn't like it.
- 59:33They don't like it. Who were they want?
- 59:36And I'm talking more especially the extremists from Alison now.
- 59:41They want their foot on top of your head, just like them.
- 59:45Shahi's want their foot on top of that, your head.
- 59:48This is this is not just about relate to Fakir.
- 59:52It's bigger than that. Yeah, it's bigger than that.
- 59:55Why would I not support this government?
- 1:00:00Is this government perfect? No.
- 1:00:03Have they done mistakes? Yes.
- 1:00:05OK Habibi, we only have 14 masoomin and the only government
- 1:00:11that was governed in a perfect way is the government of Rasul
- 1:00:16Allah, Imam Ali al Hassan and Imam al Mehdi.
- 1:00:26And so and what we say by that is, by the way, even in the time
- 1:00:30of Imam Ali, I can't remember the name of his ambassador right
- 1:00:34now. Imam Ali, does he govern with
- 1:00:39absolute justice, Yes or no? Yeah.
- 1:00:43His governor, I can't remember which governor he is right now.
- 1:00:46Yeah. And I'm just the from top of my
- 1:00:48head. He, he himself, he was doing
- 1:00:53things that was gone against what Imam Ali was saying.
- 1:00:56And Imam Ali, you know, sent him a very harsh letter or even to
- 1:01:01some extent, I think Imam Ali went to him or he came to Imam
- 1:01:04Ali. Imam Ali got him to come to him.
- 1:01:07So what am I trying to say from this point?
- 1:01:10Is that, OK, the government is not perfect.
- 1:01:15There are people that are bad in the government.
- 1:01:17OK, we get that. We all know that.
- 1:01:19That's fine. No government is perfect except
- 1:01:22the government or Imam had Judge Allah for the judge and the
- 1:01:26government of Rasulullah and Rasulullah when he sent Khalid
- 1:01:30bin bin al Waleed to Yemen. And then, yeah.
- 1:01:33And then our good friend Khalid bin Walid, he went and did what
- 1:01:38he did in in Yemen. You know, I don't know, maybe he
- 1:01:42got hungry and he was cutting up, but he was in Yemen and he
- 1:01:47did what he did. And then and the Prophet says I
- 1:01:50I just I disown what Khalid bin Walid did in Yemen.
- 1:01:58Carlos, that's it. You, you have an infallible that
- 1:02:02is dealing or controlling or trying to control fallible
- 1:02:08people. The government of Iran.
- 1:02:11I'm not saying say that it's coming out and now it's
- 1:02:13invaluable for someone that's they say it is there and there
- 1:02:19are people around him that will that are probably not good or no
- 1:02:24problem. That happens.
- 1:02:27You know how many how many times do we do we get stories about
- 1:02:31the Wukala, the representatives of the Inman as the Imam Kavan.
- 1:02:35We're talking about Imam Kavan. What happened after Imam Kavan,
- 1:02:38his companions, his representatives, his wukala,
- 1:02:41What did they do? What did they do?
- 1:02:44They established one of the biggest sects at that time, the
- 1:02:47Wukifer. There you go.
- 1:02:52We need to stop with this rhetoric.
- 1:02:56We need to stop with it, honestly.
- 1:02:58When the Iranian government was established, we had a Zen
- 1:03:04karama. Does that mean there was 100%
- 1:03:11justice? No.
- 1:03:14Does that mean there was no injustice?
- 1:03:17No. We're not saying that either,
- 1:03:19but we're saying at the core of it, at the core of it, they are
- 1:03:24people trying to establish the Sharia of Allah, trying to the
- 1:03:32merger, says Sistani. May Allah prolong his life.
- 1:03:37He's trying to derive for you the Akam of Alibait, trying to,
- 1:03:45that's what he could do. He gets a hadith and then he he
- 1:03:50he goes through all these different principles or so all
- 1:03:53whatever comes to a conclusion. This is the fatwa.
- 1:03:58Yeah. He's trying to give you the the
- 1:04:01verdict of Elid Bate by his understanding and his
- 1:04:04principles. That's what it is.
- 1:04:08And I think actually I need to start to really hold hands more
- 1:04:13and more. I feel on Sunday it was there.
- 1:04:15Voila, like the Shirazi boys were there, you know, you got
- 1:04:20the Sistani law, you got the, you know, I saw from so many
- 1:04:24different communities, they just come together.
- 1:04:27The Afghan, the Pakistani, the Indian, the, you know, the
- 1:04:31African, the Iraqi, the Iranian. It was amazing.
- 1:04:34It was beautiful to see. And that's how we should be
- 1:04:38moving forward, inshallah. That's one of the biggest things
- 1:04:41which we lack and I think which we and obviously I think the
- 1:04:45primary reason why we wanted to do this discussion was to try
- 1:04:48and instigate that need for Shia, Shia unity, which we've
- 1:04:53always been a massive advocate of.
- 1:04:55And it continues to be our, one of our primary goals, you know,
- 1:04:59with our forthcoming event, like make sure we grab your tickets.
- 1:05:04But with our 4th event, like you'll see we have people from
- 1:05:07different backgrounds. We invite people from different
- 1:05:09backgrounds. Last year when you came, you
- 1:05:11found this. Inshallah, you know, I hope you,
- 1:05:13you will agree. But that was one of the things
- 1:05:16perhaps you realise when you're on stage, like we tried to bring
- 1:05:19people from, from different ideological backgrounds, not out
- 1:05:22of naivety because many people might look at this, but like
- 1:05:26these guys are naive. They're putting this guy next to
- 1:05:28that guy, that guy next to this guy.
- 1:05:29What do they know? Like they do they not know that
- 1:05:32these guys disagree with each other on these things?
- 1:05:34We know, Baba, we know. But it's more of a case of we're
- 1:05:37trying to instigate and create and foster unity amongst the
- 1:05:41Shia, create people who can unite under the banner of Imam
- 1:05:44and Hajj Allah, Dalaf al Sharif, because ultimately that's what
- 1:05:47we need. You know, when you said like we,
- 1:05:50we, we sometimes get that, that, that feeling like, yeah, we're
- 1:05:53too divided. Like you said, your, your, your
- 1:05:56friend who, who said why are you supporting?
- 1:05:59Well, that's fucking like I think it doesn't that's, that's
- 1:06:04not even the discussion. We're not even talking about the
- 1:06:06legitimacy of theocracy within Shia political thought.
- 1:06:09We're not going near that. We're talking here about human
- 1:06:11life. We're talking about justice.
- 1:06:13We're talking about protecting our imams.
- 1:06:15We're talking about protecting human life.
- 1:06:17Like these are things which are much bigger, protecting places
- 1:06:20of worship, protecting the sanctity of community.
- 1:06:22Like these are things which are are important.
- 1:06:24Like, you know, the generations that come after us will rely on,
- 1:06:28will have relied on us to have kept stability.
- 1:06:32If we're not able to do that, then who's going to do it?
- 1:06:35You know, whether it's through a podcast, you've got a medium on
- 1:06:37social media, for example, yourself with your posts and
- 1:06:40also your presence. Marshall, you have a knack and
- 1:06:43an ability for galvanizing, organising, you know, activating
- 1:06:48support, which is what we need at times like this.
- 1:06:50Not everyone knows the mandem. You know, the mandem, bring the
- 1:06:53mandem. Do you know what I mean?
- 1:06:54At times like this, you need to, you need to tap into your
- 1:06:56networks for some of the sisters who are online and who can't
- 1:07:00turn up at the centres. Use your voices online, defend
- 1:07:03people who need defence, support people.
- 1:07:05You OK? You don't agree, for example, on
- 1:07:07theological matters on everything or political matters
- 1:07:10on everyone. Doesn't matter.
- 1:07:12Sisters that does the podcast. Sister read that she mentioned
- 1:07:17it as well. Yeah, I saw.
- 1:07:18She, she, she. She's been, she's been vocal on
- 1:07:21it. There's been there's been a lot
- 1:07:23of, there's been a lot of nice energy which has come out from
- 1:07:27the back of the last week, of course, negativity and like a
- 1:07:31lot of bad news around the world.
- 1:07:33But in terms of, like you said, bridging our internal
- 1:07:36communities together, this is what we need more of.
- 1:07:39You know, we need to know how to stand there when the when the
- 1:07:42whole of the imam happens, Charlotte soon and Charlotte in,
- 1:07:46in coming years. But when that time comes, we
- 1:07:50don't want to be on the side who are isolated or who feel
- 1:07:53remorseful, like I missed the I missed the chance, like I had a
- 1:07:57golden chance to learn Islam, read through the Wyatt, read the
- 1:08:01Quran, research, prepare for the imam actively doing interwar to
- 1:08:07get we like there's, there's there's something which we we we
- 1:08:10normalize, we get desensitized when we hit, we'll do the AL
- 1:08:14Faraj. It's like, OK, cool, standard
- 1:08:16end of the monthlist. You do the and then you shake
- 1:08:18hands and go like, bro, come on, man.
- 1:08:20Like, well, there's got to be one thing more we can do, like
- 1:08:23to incorporate the Imam's message in his mission, in our
- 1:08:26day-to-day lives, like in our global mission.
- 1:08:29When like, you know, there's guys I know, I know a guy who
- 1:08:31left his job Subhanallah, like he left his job like 3 or 4
- 1:08:36months ago, bro. The guy Mashallah was killing
- 1:08:39it, doing really well. Really, really, really high
- 1:08:42salary. Really, really, really top
- 1:08:44position in a huge, huge corporation.
- 1:08:47He left his job. He's like, yeah, I need to serve
- 1:08:49the Imam full time. He's at home, he's doing, he's
- 1:08:52working on a project, my love, bless him.
- 1:08:53Full time, full time. He's working for the Imam.
- 1:08:57And he had a call with him last week or two weeks ago and he's
- 1:09:00telling me, I'm doing this, I'm doing that, I'm doing this, I'm
- 1:09:01doing that. I can't share it or who he is.
- 1:09:04But you know, guys like that is who we need.
- 1:09:07We need to be more like. So, yeah.
- 1:09:10And you said to me before the podcast, you said everyone's got
- 1:09:12a position, everyone's got purpose.
- 1:09:14Some organizations and some individuals will be more
- 1:09:18reserved in a community building from from the back or out of
- 1:09:23sight and in not in the limelight.
- 1:09:26Good bro, do that. Build infrastructure, Build
- 1:09:29communities. About that, you see, we were
- 1:09:32talking about that, you're right.
- 1:09:34But there is, I always say. There's a responsibility.
- 1:09:37There's responsibilities, yeah, but then there is also
- 1:09:42obligation for people to understand that you have to be
- 1:09:49and you have to push yourself to get out of your comfort zone.
- 1:09:53I've. Sacrificed.
- 1:09:54Yeah, I agree. Like bro, like you think it's
- 1:09:57also big now come viral with the shy.
- 1:09:59Yeah, like at any time now, not only do I have the Salafis on my
- 1:10:04head, I've got the Shahis as well.
- 1:10:06Yeah, I mean, I'm. Saying it's a Walking Dead man
- 1:10:08in London now. No, in Charlotte, we pray for
- 1:10:10your safety, but you speak picture like you weigh up your
- 1:10:13options. If I do this now, when things
- 1:10:16get worse, where will I be? Or if I do this now, who's going
- 1:10:19to look after my children? Or if I do this now, who's going
- 1:10:22to support this organization or who's going to, you know, do you
- 1:10:25see what I mean? So it's of course, Allahu Aklam,
- 1:10:28like only Allah knows if now is the time or not.
- 1:10:32But the responsibility is that it's incumbent upon us to do
- 1:10:36everything possible at the time where it's possible.
- 1:10:38And that whether that means, for example, being part of the
- 1:10:41online discourse, well, that means, for example, showing
- 1:10:46standing in solidarity in front of a centre to defend its
- 1:10:48worshippers, Like these are things which need to be done,
- 1:10:51right? So I think it's a lot of food
- 1:10:53for thought for us. We're approaching Shahabaan.
- 1:10:55Shahabaaban, we don't know what's going to happen.
- 1:10:57And Charlotte, you know these next 2-3 months are peaceful and
- 1:11:01you know believers are protected.
- 1:11:04Just before the podcast started, we we were seeing reports that
- 1:11:08there's aircrafts, the airspace shut down.
- 1:11:12It looks like it's about to begin.
- 1:11:16Charlotte, we pray for the safety of the security of all
- 1:11:18Montmini and Montminat across the across the world and for
- 1:11:22their security. I think before we end Sid Ali,
- 1:11:26it would be nice if we can watch Hassan speech.
- 1:11:29We should. OK, I haven't seen the full
- 1:11:30version. It's going to be it's it was
- 1:11:33Mashallah. It was well received online.
- 1:11:37Great. Well.
- 1:11:48Lagging. Internet.
- 1:11:50Thanks for the. Wi-Fi Muj Amir al Mahdin, Imam
- 1:11:58al Mahdin Assad al Akbar Faruqihadi Ali Ali in the Holy
- 1:12:18Quran. Sadaq.
- 1:12:23Uma Ahadullah Ali from the believers there are men Rejal
- 1:12:32that stay truthful to the covenant of Allah or the promise
- 1:12:36to Allah. You brothers is today's a
- 1:12:40Sunday. You all turned up.
- 1:12:43You could have been comfortable in your nice heated house, but
- 1:12:46you decided to be here to show face, to show these thugs that
- 1:12:51they cannot and they will not enter our massages.
- 1:12:56They cannot do that. But there is there is another
- 1:13:00important point to mention, which is we're not here to make
- 1:13:04it. A.
- 1:13:04Difficult time for the police. We are Shia, which means we have
- 1:13:10to act accordingly. We are not thugs.
- 1:13:14We are not violent. We just stop you there.
- 1:13:20We are not them. Yeah, that that that's a really
- 1:13:23important point. You know, You know, when you put
- 1:13:26yourself out there as a Shia, and I say this to all brothers
- 1:13:29and sisters, you know, you get a lot of brothers and sisters.
- 1:13:32They put 313 in the bio and so on, no problem.
- 1:13:35But when you do that, act accordingly.
- 1:13:38When you do that. Don't like don't like reels or
- 1:13:42videos of people that have had our music, don't like pictures
- 1:13:47that are inappropriate. Don't like videos where things
- 1:13:52are in the video or the content of the video is going against
- 1:13:56the Sharia. We are Shia.
- 1:13:59We have to show the beauty of Tishaya through our actions.
- 1:14:04We have to be the mirror of there in Malaya masala.
- 1:14:08That's what Tishaya is. And that is really important
- 1:14:12because I, I knew the Shahis are going to watch it.
- 1:14:16I knew that I, I see some, you know, journalists and so on
- 1:14:20taking videos. So it was important for them to
- 1:14:23know we're not here. We're not thugs.
- 1:14:25You know, maybe some of the young brothers there acted a bit
- 1:14:29out of line and so on. But we are not thugs.
- 1:14:31We're not here to be violent. We, we are here to protect.
- 1:14:34This for us. Yeah.
- 1:14:36It's out of line like. That 100% we are here to protect
- 1:14:40this centre. Yeah.
- 1:14:42There are old people, woman, children that come to the
- 1:14:45centre. You will not attack it in any
- 1:14:49shape or form. But yeah, let's continue.
- 1:14:51Sorry, I just thought I'll add that point.
- 1:14:56We defend ourselves for sure, but we are not thugs.
- 1:15:02We have to stop this thuggery. It's unacceptable.
- 1:15:07We are Shia and we need to prove it to the world.
- 1:15:11No matter what, whatever happens in whatever country, every
- 1:15:17community, every shiery around the world, I don't care what
- 1:15:20magic you follow. I don't care what scholar you
- 1:15:23follow. We are one under the when I of
- 1:15:26Emir and Mukmanin Molan Mohadin Ali bin Abiyad Ali Ali Muhammad
- 1:15:31Ali Muhammad and to those thugs we tell them we are not violent
- 1:15:43but we are the sons of Rasul Allah Ali bin Abidali al Hassani
- 1:15:501 Hussein the sahab of Rasul Allah that stayed loyal to the
- 1:15:55Messenger of Allah. We are the sons of Al Hassan bin
- 1:15:59Ali, Al Hussein bin Ali Ali bin Al Hussein, Muhammad bin Ali,
- 1:16:05Jafar bin Muhammad, Musa bin Jafar Ali bin Musa Muhammad bin
- 1:16:10Ali, Ali bin Muhammad and then Hassan bin Ali and Imam and Ajad
- 1:16:18Allah Farah Jahu Sharif. This is who we are.
- 1:16:22We are the sons of Karbala. We are the sons of Imam is
- 1:16:27Sajad, where he stood against the tyrant and he said.
- 1:16:37I truly believe one of the greatest lines that has ever
- 1:16:45been said by any of the Infallibles and they are all
- 1:16:51nor, but one of the greatest lines that has ever been said by
- 1:16:57the Infallibles is this line. You know we're talking about
- 1:17:09Imam al Kavam, right? It's mentioned in some of the
- 1:17:14reports. One of his companions, he says
- 1:17:19to him, my Imam, our chests have become tight.
- 1:17:26When is the Farage, when is the relief?
- 1:17:30We want you back, say EDI wama olai, the imam says meet me on
- 1:17:38Friday on the on the bridge of Baghdad.
- 1:17:43And then they realise that the body that's being being walked
- 1:17:49through this bridge is Imam al Kabul.
- 1:17:54The Imam is basically saying the Faraj is death, al patlulana ada
- 1:18:03or karamatunaminallah sharda. It's a honour.
- 1:18:07It's our Karama, it's our Isa that we love martyrdom.
- 1:18:14We love martyrdom and we see death as something normal,
- 1:18:19normal. That's the believer.
- 1:18:22That's what the Shia is like. And that's why it's so important
- 1:18:27to remember this. And just in case, you know, some
- 1:18:31of the non-muslim viewers are thinking, oh, you know, what's
- 1:18:33this guy talking about? No, Shahada martyrdom can be a
- 1:18:37old woman is walking across the road and then a car is about to
- 1:18:42hit her and then you push her and then the hit car hits you.
- 1:18:45You are a martyrdom. So Shahada is not just in the
- 1:18:48battlefield it. Can be on.
- 1:18:49Yeah, in many, so many different.
- 1:18:51In hospital, but. Yeah.
- 1:18:53So we we are talking about the shahada, but we have to actively
- 1:18:59pursue it. Yeah, Shahada doesn't come.
- 1:19:01Shahada's. Honor the station of how you're
- 1:19:04receiving. Shahada's are honor.
- 1:19:05Brothers, when you die. Shahada is not something that
- 1:19:08just Allah gives it to anyone. No no, you are a special person
- 1:19:13to get shahada and this is very important.
- 1:19:17Sorry I I thought. Death to us is the normal and
- 1:19:25mark of them is from Allah. This is what we live by.
- 1:19:30We are not here to be thugs. We are not here to be violent.
- 1:19:34Anyone that tries to enter our massaging, you will be faced
- 1:19:38with people like you've never faced before.
- 1:19:47Carbonara is with us every day. We share like to live in the
- 1:19:53places where it's uncomfortable. We like to live in places where
- 1:19:57there is a fight if they want to fight the truth.
- 1:20:01We are the Shia and we love being uncomfortable.
- 1:20:05So if you want to come and be uncomfortable, we know how to be
- 1:20:09uncomfortable. No one will enter up and massage
- 1:20:13it yesterday they. Came by the way. 2030 of them
- 1:20:16attacked me while there was children inside and I told them
- 1:20:20there are children inside while they were like we don't care and
- 1:20:25they started swearing. I said you don't care, let's
- 1:20:27fight. And it happened.
- 1:20:29Whatever happened, we are Shia, one of us is worth 1000 of them.
- 1:20:35Remember that we are the sons of Abu Fatah Abbas, the hero of
- 1:20:41Kabbalah. We have tongues like the Tango
- 1:20:44Saeed Azaya where she broke the empires with her tongue.
- 1:20:49Her tongue became Dufatan. Do not forget that but act
- 1:20:54accordingly. The police are here to help us
- 1:20:57and protect us. We must stand with them and be
- 1:21:02helpful towards them. We are not folks.
- 1:21:05If they want to come and attack you, come and we will show you
- 1:21:09the sons of Rasulullah. We will show you the sons of Ali
- 1:21:12bin Abidali. We will show you the sons of
- 1:21:15Imam and Hassan when Azhain come.
- 1:21:20Ma'am, why not come and have a dialogue with us?
- 1:21:23You disagree with the government, good for you.
- 1:21:26But this is a place of worship and no one will touch it.
- 1:21:31Please brothers act accordingly and Sandra Ala Muhammad Ali
- 1:21:36Muhammad. Wow, we're very proud of you.
- 1:21:42Amazing Shah Hassan. We're happy, we're happy to have
- 1:21:46you again here and we're more so honoured to see what what you're
- 1:21:49doing for the Ummah, for the community.
- 1:21:51And Allah knows. And I think those of us, we're
- 1:21:54honoured to be your friends, your brothers.
- 1:21:56We know you and we've spent a lot of time with you over the
- 1:21:58years. I think we know in your heart is
- 1:22:03pure intentions and the sincerity you wish for nothing
- 1:22:07but the best for the people around you, for the Omar and of
- 1:22:10course your your your actions are driven by God consciousness.
- 1:22:14May Allah reward you and bless you always.
- 1:22:16Your search for Haq, your desire to defend the truth, your desire
- 1:22:19to defend your brothers and sisters, the community around
- 1:22:22you. These are things which all of us
- 1:22:24should implement and be like so Allah inshallah.
- 1:22:27We pray to Allah to protect you, to preserve you, to give you
- 1:22:30more baraka, to give you more knowledge and opportunities to
- 1:22:33serve. Ilahi Amin ya rabala al Amin.
- 1:22:35And I have a feeling this is not going to be the last time we're
- 1:22:39on the podcast. I think I probably said that
- 1:22:42after the first one and now here we are three years later.
- 1:22:46But may Allah bless you, bro, happy.
- 1:22:48Thank you for coming. Bless you and.
- 1:22:51Always a pleasure boy as well. Happy, Michelle.
- 1:22:54Anything that I'd say, Ali. I'm just going to say, you know,
- 1:22:56just as a final point since we are ending, you mentioned
- 1:23:01comfortable, comfortable, comfortable and things like this
- 1:23:03and it reminded. Me of comfortable now I'm
- 1:23:06comfortable. We make you comfortable.
- 1:23:07Yeah, it. Makes you remember that the I
- 1:23:11where it says you want to achieve righteousness until you
- 1:23:13give away from that which you love.
- 1:23:15How fit is that? You can sacrifice in any single
- 1:23:19way. I think 100% very.
- 1:23:21I love that. I love that.
- 1:23:22Beautifully, said Hassan. May Allah protects you honestly.
- 1:23:25Have been saying. Like your family and your loved
- 1:23:28ones. And yeah, keep it going.
- 1:23:32I don't know if it's fright for me to say this, but I've seen
- 1:23:35your journey. We've been, we've known each
- 1:23:37other for very. I saw a picture of you guys
