Romans 13 - The Powers That Be
Today, we look to this chapter that presents human governance and how God establishes the powers that be. The difficulty is how we submit and honor God when unrighteousness rules the land. Romans 13 teaches that we honor God by submitting to the authority He has established. This also discusses our responsibilities to pay our taxes. It’s interesting that the rule of love is also discussed which is the foundation of humility. The exhortation to prepare for Christ's Return is also part of this chapter.
