- 2:32SPEAKER_02: Well, we're not gonna be on near the end of the week, so can we call it Halloween Eve?
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: We're close enough, right?
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: It's it's almost here.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: Five days.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: Uh we want to welcome you to the uh Alpha Men podcast.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: And uh are you ready for Halloween?
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: Are you you ready to go?
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: My first Halloween home and you don't you don't still do you you still don't you don't do the trick-or-treating with the kids, so wife does that, right?
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: I think I'm gonna go this year because I haven't been like last seven years.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: Oh, so you haven't been around and now you are around.
- 3:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm usually in Martinsville when this happens.
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you're gonna go out with the kids.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, do you dress up or no?
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: No.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: No.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: I'm too good looking to dress up.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: I was gonna suggest like Oogie Boogie from Disney or something like that.
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: I mean I was about to say baby Huey.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: Baby Huey would be good too.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: That would be good.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: Do you decorate the house?
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: Does the wife decorate the house?
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: I know you don't decorate the house.
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: No, we don't do much.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: If you decorated the house for Halloween, it would be like a whole bunch of Jack Daniels bottles on the front porch.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: Yes, it was.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Let's be true about that.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: Very true, very true.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: See, I don't do any of it anymore.
- 3:45SPEAKER_02: I, you know, in my radio career, I worked every Halloween, I did every big Halloween party in the area, live broadcasts and costume contests and all that other stuff.
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: And it was fun for about 15 minutes, you know.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: And after a while, you kind of go, Yeah, I'm kind of but there are people who are rabid about it, just absolutely rabid about uh uh I I ever I I drive to work to Rutland, Vermont every day.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: Well, not every day, but a lot.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: And I get on the Killington Bethel Road going past Killington ski slopes, right?
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: And and Pyco and all that other stuff.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: And I pass this house that's got this 12-foot freaking skeleton in the front yard, and it's up year-round.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: They never take it down, and they just they they dress it like an American girl doll.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: And they just put different different outfits on it.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: Like Easter, it like wears bright colors and holds a basket, and on July 4th, it's got, you know, like an American flag shirt on, and you know, it it's odd to me that somebody would leave a 12-foot skeleton in their front yard year round.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: You know, people make fun of the fact that you know, if if you don't get your Christmas lights taken down early enough, yeah.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, you're the guy that's got Christmas lights up in July, you know, you know, like come on, you know.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: But these people leave this thing up year round.
- 5:15SPEAKER_03: They have some people, they have some houses that have, you know, those lights that are themed.
- 5:20SPEAKER_03: They can come up for, you know, yeah, that's Chris.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: Can we agree that that's people with way too much time on their hands?
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Like like you like you need a hobby.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: Like, please, come on.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: But uh, if you are one of these people that has one of those big giant Home Depot 12 foot tall skeletons, uh Arby's may have the answer for you.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: If your skeleton needs a little meat on the bones, and I'm not making this up, all right?
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: This was in the news this week, okay?
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Arby's just released because you know what their slogan is at Arby's, right?
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: We have the meat, right?
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: They released a 12-foot uh a tracksuit, a meat tracksuit for your 12-foot skeleton.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: Now it's not real meat, it's like a meat-patterned sweatshirt and sweatpants, and definitely done with AI, but whatever.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: And and and it's not for you, it's for your 12-foot skeleton in your front yard.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: You know, like Skelly from Home Depot.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: And there was actually, it's not an official collaboration, but Home Depot came back and uh online when they saw it and said, you know what?
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: That's one way to beef up your Halloween decor.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: So uh they're going back and forth on it.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: They made them available on the Arby's website.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: How much, you ask?
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: $46.66.
- 6:51SPEAKER_03: Oh, like a one Arby sandwich.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: First of all, I ain't buying nothing with the number 666 in it, okay?
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: I don't care what you're selling.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: If the price has 666 in it, I'm not buying it, okay?
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: But as stupid as we are in this country, you can guess they sold out immediately.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: A meat tracksuit for your 12-foot plastic lawn skeleton.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: Quite possibly this week's sign of the coming apocalypse.
- 7:24SPEAKER_02: Uh it's just all there is to it.
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: Um, listen, last week we started something called Let's Start Some Trouble.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, question out there, ruffle some feathers, get the you know, internet sorted out.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: Uh basically a regular Tuesday night, right?
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: So uh we're gonna do it again this week.
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: Let's start some trouble.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: We got a question for the freak jury tonight.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: And uh, we want you to answer it in the comments wherever you may be watching from.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: By the way, tell us where you're watching from too.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: Like and subscribe, do all of that stuff.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: Uh, but don't give us the politically correct answer.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: Don't give us the answer that we know your wife wants to hear.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: You could give us the answer that gets you sleeping on the couch and be a man about it.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: Alright?
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: Just saying.
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: This week's question.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: Ready?
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Your spouse is on a reality television show where the audience votes one person off the island every week.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: What's the one thing your spouse does that would have America voting them off on day one?
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: Being too shy and quiet.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, you are such a wuss.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm just saying.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: That's not what you want to say.
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: No, that's off my head.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: Well, wait a minute.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: How long have you been married?
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: Oh 12 years?
- 8:46SPEAKER_02: I'm getting him in trouble more now.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: 12, 13 years.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: 12, 13 years.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: There's no way that after 12 or 13 years, the one thing that annoys you the most is that she's too shy and quiet.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: Because I gotta tell you, when she's on the phone with me, she is not shy and quiet.
- 9:01SPEAKER_03: I'm just I mean, that's the first thing to pop my head with.
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: If they're gonna vote her off, it's because she's not statistically planning.
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: Now, that's a political answer.
- 9:10SPEAKER_03: Unpolitical.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: So my wife, who is not in this residence at the moment and is in uh Pennsylvania visiting family, which is why I can say this without uh any repercussions.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: Because she was home, she'd probably run up the stairs and beat the crap out of me.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: But uh my wife is like an indoor cat.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: My wife hates like I'm a camping guy, I love to go camping, I love the outdoors, I love all of that stuff.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: My wife is deathly afraid of snakes.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: She can't even see a picture of one.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Do you remember when um the uh the show Survivor came on TV, the opening?
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: The weird music and the whole nine yards, they'd bring up on the screen a picture of of of a snake.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: And back when Survivor was like the hottest thing on TV, which is honestly like 25 years ago, right?
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: She had to literally walk out of the room when the when the she couldn't she couldn't look at the television screen with the snake on.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: She can't see a picture of a snake.
- 10:28SPEAKER_02: All right?
- 10:28SPEAKER_02: She hates dirt, she doesn't like woods, she does you know, and I'm really, I love to go camping.
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: And when I go we're gonna be camping soon.
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, when I go camping, I'm camping by myself because my there is no way in hell, and it doesn't matter, glamping, you can put her in a million-dollar marathon coach like the NASCAR drivers drive.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: She still wouldn't go.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: Still wouldn't go.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: So when I think about reality television shows and being voted off the island, the first thing pops into my head is you're outdoors, right?
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: Trying to survive.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: That would be what gets my wife like completely.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: Family would be fine.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: It would be time for chores on the island, and my wife would be like, Yeah, I'm not coming out of this hut.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Like, like it's not happening, you know?
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: That's just all there is to it.
- 11:30SPEAKER_02: All right, so no safe answers.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: Whether it's embarrassing, brutally honest, stuff you'd never admit on your anniversary, we don't care.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: Drop your answers in the comment.
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: Alpha Men podcast, hashtag let's start some trouble, and uh fill in the blank in the comments.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: And uh we hope your significant other isn't uh watching along with you.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: Good luck explaining to yourself later.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: Just saying.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Uh, we'll read some of the best answers if we get some later in the um in the show.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: Uh pack the pantry's coming up.
- 12:00SPEAKER_02: Yes, sir.
- 12:00SPEAKER_02: Do we have photos for that?
- 12:01SPEAKER_02: You told me there was a little headache.
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: I just threw I got my the novice in the order, so it's kind of free.
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: It's only one I only got one pack the pantry because I was more focused on the content of what you're talking about.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, all right.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: So pack the pantry.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: Uh things are going really, really well.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: Lots and lots of businesses helping us out, signing up, offering support, collecting at uh work, at church, at school.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: The uh pack the pantry collection kit is available at VTpacthepantry.com.
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: It's a PDF you download right to your computer.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: It's got signage, it's got a letter you can distribute to people within your organization that tells you what you're doing, tells them what you're doing and and why you're doing it.
- 12:41SPEAKER_02: You start your canned collection, it's got tips and advice on how to run a canned food collection.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: And uh with our presenting sponsor, Preston's Kia, Chrysler, Dodge Jeep and Ram this year, we are gonna ram that truck full.
- 12:55SPEAKER_02: And uh any donation that gets too large that you go, holy crap, we uh we started collecting at work, and I don't know how I'm gonna get this down to baby Huey and TJ.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: Um, we have a ram pickup truck, and we will come get it.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: Actually, baby Huey will come get it.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: No, you're probably I'm gonna be in the camper like my wife.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: Like, not no, I'm just kidding.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: I'm just kidding.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: I've just kidding.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: No, I am kidding.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: You know me.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: There's another person that stayed in their camper quite a bit over the years.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: It wasn't me.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: We'll just leave it at that.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: Okay, you know what I'm talking about.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: But that's inside baseball stuff, so we we won't go there.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: We won't go there.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: But uh listen, uh, you know what?
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: Uh a lot of help uh from uh area businesses November 19th through the 21st, price chopper by Market 32 on the uh Barry Montpelier Road.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Maybe he was flying up from Trident.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: We're gonna start going live, aren't we?
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: Uh what do you mean we're gonna start going live?
- 13:58SPEAKER_03: Like we're uh for we're gonna do some little segments going leading up to the event.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: Uh we can, sure.
- 14:05SPEAKER_03: Last week, yeah, last week when we talked about it.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't really listen to you a lot.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: Like I uh uh yeah, sure.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, well, most of the time when we talk, I have to get past the uh Dallas Cowboys are the greatest football hit team in the history of the world.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: Talk.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: And uh and congratulations.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Congratulations.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no, seriously.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: Congratulations.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: You beat my Philadelphia Eagles last night, who had exactly four starters on the whole team playing in the game, and Saquon Barkley, who ran all over your defense with one leg.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: Okay, all right.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: So congratulations.
- 14:54SPEAKER_03: I'm not disagreeing.
- 15:02SPEAKER_03: Well, they're always a high school football team.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: No, they're not, and the record proves it.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: What screwed you guys?
- 15:08SPEAKER_03: Hey, the record's still not as good as the Cowboys.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, dust off your Lombardies, will you?
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: Just we're not saying this.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: We're not saying this right now.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: We're not doing this right now.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: We have all time in the world.
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: Well, guess what?
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: We have just as many world championships as you do.
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: We do.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: No, you don't.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: Yes, we do.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: We do football is not played in the world.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: It is played in America.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: What's the Super Bowl trophy?
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: What do they call the champion of the Super Bowl?
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: The world champions.
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's baseball.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: Now, no, no, that's soccer.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: World champion New England Patriots.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: They're not called the Patriots the world champions.
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: Guess what?
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: The Super Bowl ring says world champion on it.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: Super Bowl champions.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: The Super Bowl ring says world champion on it.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: They do not.
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: So now let me ask you a question.
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: Let's bring Major League Baseball into it.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: You gonna go back to the 1920s and take away World Series or pennants from baseball teams because it doesn't fit in your we didn't really exist until even 1960 world?
- 16:20unknown: No.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: They were still called the World Series.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: You're not going to.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: You're not going to erase history.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: So the Philadelphia Eagles have five world championships.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: They do.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: Kind of blows your argument right out of the water.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: No, I don't.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: I'm a such ramble.
- 16:41SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Listen, we've got a great show for you tonight.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: Mancourt is back.

- 17:45SPEAKER_02: Here's what happened this week.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: Nail Salon in Oregon in the news this week gave a customer herpes for a second time in two years.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: Your move, Husher.
- 18:01SPEAKER_02: New survey says 64% of Americans say AI is a developing too fast.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: The other 36% were too busy chatting with their Muse to answer the question.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: So uh by the way, do you have Muse?
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: No.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: I have Muse.
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: I don't know what Muse is.
- 18:21SPEAKER_02: His name is it's it's it's the meta AI assistant.
- 18:25unknown: Muse.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: I use chat GPT.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you can put little stupid clothes on them in the whole nine yards.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: Oh nerd.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: I didn't do that with mine.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: In fact, I renamed AI a little bit.
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: So every every time, every time he talks to me, it says it's it goes dipshit.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: So uh anyway, uh in a new documentary, three male escorts this week claimed they had sex with the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: The documentary film is called You Already Knew Everything.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: Come on, is there is there anybody?
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: I didn't know that.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: You didn't know Senator Lindsey Graham was gay?
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: No.
- 19:16SPEAKER_02: Come on, man.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: Anyway.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: Uh people are now using sheep to control poison ice meat.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: We gotta do what we gotta do now that ice is getting rid of all the gardeners.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: We're gonna get canceled.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: Scientists confirmed that the uh US experienced its hottest summer on record.
- 19:44SPEAKER_03: I know shit.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: My power bell.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: And remember, that is with America covered in ice.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: And it didn't help that we lost our two biggest sources of shade.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: That would be the cue for the next photo.
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: And it didn't help that we lost our two biggest sources of shade.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: Sorry, second one.
- 20:14SPEAKER_02: I miss her.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: Dolly Parton was a national treasurer.
- 20:18SPEAKER_03: I miss I miss pieces of her.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: I know, but it's it's it it gets it gets it gets uh Dolly Parton gets complicated.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: Because on one hand you're like, wow, and then on the other hand, you're like, them things are like 78 years old.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: I know pre-orders for Apple's foldable iPhone, duo.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: Sold out within minutes.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: Of course, we'd like to remind you on the Alpha Men podcast that uh any phone can be folded if you if you just sit on it wrong.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: A deorbiting Chinese rocket this week left space junk in Minnesota in a farmer's field.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Usually you only find Chinese junk at Walmart, but um with the Walmart picture.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: Fingerprint analysts suggest children help make China's terracotta army sculptures.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: You've seen pictures of these things.
- 21:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: Uh centuries later, the tradition continues with uh Chinese kids making iPads.

- 29:35SPEAKER_03: I can't even talk.
- 29:36SPEAKER_03: Holy crap.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: Family.

- 29:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, cat in the hat.
- 29:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, same concept.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: All right, fact number three.

- 30:17SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: Remember you remember late fees?
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: They sucked, man.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: Like I miss going to Blockbuster because there was nothing better than like a Friday night date night with a date and going down to Blockbuster and like you know going through all the movies and like I miss Blockbusters.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: There's like one left.
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: There's one left in Oregon.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Bend Oregon or something like that.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:48SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 30:48SPEAKER_03: Um, I wonder if they ran VHS's there, still.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: Probably.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: But that'd be cool.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: So fact number four bubble wrap was invented to be a 3D wallpaper.
- 31:00SPEAKER_03: Imagine Amicates pop that in about eight seconds.
- 31:03SPEAKER_03: The idea never took off.
- 31:04SPEAKER_03: But uh the guy who created it realized it'd be an awesome packing material.
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: So I mean it turned out well for him.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: That'd be that'd be sucky wallpaper, though, because I mean yeah, but it would be very Jetsons-like looking, wouldn't it?
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: It would be like really free.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but I look at I'm looking at my walls right now going, would that work?
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: But my kids would be up there going, yeah, pop, pop, pop.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: And I'm wondering if it'd keep heat in the house because it's maybe not.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: Maybe not.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: Anyway.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:36SPEAKER_03: Humidity gets a sign, it gets a little moisture inside of them, then it freezes.

- 31:41SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 31:42SPEAKER_02: Hold on, let me get some ice cubes.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: All right, final, final one.
- 31:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, September 12th is a holiday in Russia called the Day of Conception, where people get the day off of work to try to screw to make a baby.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 32:01SPEAKER_02: That's very progressive.
- 32:03SPEAKER_03: We need uh we need a September 12th day.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, we we don't need to call it day of conception.
- 32:10SPEAKER_02: We just need to call it not married.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: We need to call it uh day of practice.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 32:21SPEAKER_03: Oh not married.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you you try.
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: That is it for John's random facts tonight, uh, delivered straight to your thick skull right here on the uh Alpha Men podcast.

- 33:01SPEAKER_02: No topic gets a free pass.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, no sacred cows here, no participation trophies, and if it moves, we're shooting at it tonight.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: We've got uh a bunch of topics here.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: We're gonna roll through them.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: And uh from current events politics, uh Obama hitting the campaign trail, attacking the Trump administration in the uh final stretch of the midterms.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: Can I?
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: You know that I'm a news junkie.
- 33:24SPEAKER_02: And you know that I'm I'm I'm into you know I'm into the the politics thing.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: I just couldn't tell.
- 33:32SPEAKER_02: Always have been.
- 33:33SPEAKER_02: Uh, but even I'm going, all right, I've had enough.
- 33:36SPEAKER_02: Can we just get through the election for crazy?
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: I've been afraid of you on Facebook.
- 33:42SPEAKER_02: From the uh from the manosphere tonight.
- 33:44SPEAKER_02: New study shows normal male behavior is still a problem, according to people who have never ever had to solve a problem.
- 33:54SPEAKER_02: We'll get into that.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: Entertainment and sports, Jay-Z landing the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: And the entire internet immediately was asking, uh, we don't care.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: Like, when's your wife coming out?
- 34:08SPEAKER_02: How about Beyoncé?
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: I have a different take.
- 34:11SPEAKER_02: We'll get into that.
- 34:13SPEAKER_02: And finally, from technology tonight, always on AI wearables.
- 34:18SPEAKER_02: Pendants, rings, glasses, things that listen to every single thing you say and do and never log off.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: We'll talk about that.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: Here's the deal.
- 34:32SPEAKER_02: We're not going to do this alone.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: Drop your comments or hottest takes in the comments as we uh roll through these.
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: They uh will show up on the screen live tonight.
- 34:39SPEAKER_02: Pick a side, pick a target, call us out, defend the indefensible, doesn't matter.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: No warm-up, no disclaimers.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: Season is open.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: We're going hunting.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: Let's get to it.
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: All right, Obama hitting the campaign trail hard.
- 34:51SPEAKER_02: Of course, attacking Trump and the administration in the final stretch of the midterms.
- 34:55SPEAKER_02: Trump is running around uh attacking all the uh Democrats.
- 35:00SPEAKER_02: He's been campaigning nonstop for about three weeks now.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 35:05SPEAKER_02: But uh Obama is out doing that same old, it's a threat to democracy thing.
- 35:13SPEAKER_02: And uh, if we're honest, he is drawing some big crowds in some key states.
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: Uh Democrats trying to use him as the closer.
- 35:21SPEAKER_02: Um, existential crisis instead of normal politics is uh a mistake, I think, though.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: Like I don't know how much I don't know how many times we're gonna fall for oh this is a threat to democracy.
- 35:40SPEAKER_03: I mean he's out there just you know doing blaming corruption and you know the Iran policy and I mean all that stuff.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: He's he's he's just he's beating a dead horse that we already know.
- 35:52SPEAKER_03: That's that's the thing I noticed about his his campaign.
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: Well, but and it's also the classic Obama move show up late, throw some heat, then disappear again when the hard work starts, you know.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: And uh uh you know, and and and if his uh if his support doesn't garner wins, he can say, Well, you know, I was only out like the last week of the you know, you know, you know.
- 36:17SPEAKER_03: He's using the status.
- 36:19SPEAKER_03: He's using the status as a former president.
- 36:21SPEAKER_03: And he is, I mean, he is still a popular pre former president.
- 36:25SPEAKER_03: I mean I mean he is the first black president, and he was also, I mean, he I like I like who he was.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: Bill Clinton claimed to be the first black president.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: Iowa.
- 36:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:35SPEAKER_03: I I liked I like Obama, not for his policy, but as a person, I thought he was pretty laid back a chill dude.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: But uh I think uh he's a laid back, chill dude.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: Uh I didn't agree with a single thing he did.
- 36:52SPEAKER_02: So I don't dislike him.
- 36:54SPEAKER_03: I don't dislike what's that Osama Banan.
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: Well the military did that.
- 37:02SPEAKER_03: Oh, but he ordered it.
- 37:04SPEAKER_02: See, like when Trump says I killed so-and-so, I don't even believe Trump when he says that.
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: Okay, I don't believe anything that Trump says half the time.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: The military did that.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, it's it's a Pentagon.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: That's okay.
- 37:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I gave the order, but you know, whatever, you know.
- 37:17SPEAKER_02: I'd rather I'd rather give the credit to the grunt in the military who pulled the trigger and actually did it, you know.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's just the way and that's regardless of if it's Trump or Obama or anybody, you know.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: So um I don't know.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: We'll have to see what what happens here.
- 37:34SPEAKER_03: Uh what do you think is gonna think is gonna win the midterms?
- 37:39SPEAKER_02: I I don't know.
- 37:39SPEAKER_02: I I I I kind of have a feeling just here in Vermont that the that the left in this country has overplayed their hand and the socialism stuff is petering out.
- 37:53SPEAKER_02: Like people initially went, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: And then once they learn more about what socialism really means and what their plans really are, everybody's like, those people are freaking crazy.
- 38:06SPEAKER_03: Are you thinking about red?
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't I don't know.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 38:10SPEAKER_03: Vermont Vermont's been a blue state for what?
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: No, I think I I think in our well, look, I mean Vermont is uh Vermont was originally a red state up until all of the people from Massachusetts all over the place came.
- 38:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I guess we could money on that.
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: I'm still mad about the clash for con cash for clunkers, Michelle said.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: Um yeah.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 38:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was uh that was a raw deal, Michelle.
- 38:39SPEAKER_02: Uh there was a lot of things around the uh supposed economic collapse of 2008 that Bush did that I didn't agree with, you know what I mean?
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: That I was like, this is ridiculous.
- 38:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 38:53SPEAKER_03: So um who's your favorite most modern president besides Trump in your lifetime?
- 38:59SPEAKER_03: How's that?
- 39:01SPEAKER_02: Probably Reagan.
- 39:03SPEAKER_03: Reagan.
- 39:04SPEAKER_03: Sounds too young for Reagan.
- 39:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean I I believe you have to you have to understand after four years of of Joe Biden and eight years of of uh both Bushes and eight years of Obama, you can say what you want about Trump, but the sheer speed at which the administration moves.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, we've never we have never seen a president move as quickly as as the Trump administration.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: No, I agree not to.
- 39:38SPEAKER_02: We I haven't I don't hate the guy.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: We haven't we've never seen a president come into office with the idea of like, okay, I gotta like you always hear them talking about the first hundred days in office when a new president takes over.
- 39:51SPEAKER_02: And that's the reason they do that is because that's when the honeymoon's over.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: You know, you're no longer a new president after the first hundred days.
- 39:57SPEAKER_02: They literally hit the ground running on his first hundred days with a plan to execute as much of his agenda as they could within the first hundred days.
- 40:07SPEAKER_02: We've never seen a president do that kind of stuff in this country.
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: And um so say what you will about about Trump, but um the dude gets things done and oftentimes with both hands tied behind both hands and legs tied behind his back through litigation and all kinds of.
- 40:30SPEAKER_03: Listen, I don't I don't hate Trump at all at this halftime shit he talks about like dude, come on.
- 40:34SPEAKER_03: If I had to pick a president, yeah, just based off I wasn't big at politics when I was younger, but just what I've saw, I'd say George Bush the second because of W.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because of September 11th and how he all handled all that.
- 40:52SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, I lost some friends for the war, but there's there's things that George Bush did.
- 40:58SPEAKER_02: I I like I don't like that George, I don't like the W bailed out the banks um and we did that whole too big to fail thing.
- 41:07SPEAKER_02: I don't like that at all.
- 41:09SPEAKER_02: Um I don't like some of the moves that they made when the when the economy collapsed.
- 41:14SPEAKER_02: However, I will agree with you that at the time, uh September 11th, on September 12th, the guy that we needed in this country to bring everybody together, even though he was hated by the left.
- 41:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: And and for many uh is still hated by many on the left.
- 41:37SPEAKER_02: You know what I thought about?
- 41:38SPEAKER_02: He was the guy who the country needed on September 12th.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, he was now weapons of mass destruction and all of that other stuff, that's a whole nother story.
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah on September 12th.
- 41:51SPEAKER_03: Well, we were mourning, people are getting laid in Russia.
- 41:55SPEAKER_03: That's true.
- 41:58SPEAKER_02: That's not a lot of the let's make a baby day from your random facts.
- 42:01SPEAKER_02: Is that what you're talking about?
- 42:02SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 42:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:03SPEAKER_02: All righty.
- 42:04SPEAKER_02: Let's move on to the manosphere tonight.
- 42:07SPEAKER_02: New study.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: This drives me insane.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: Before I even get to this, I will tell you that stuff like this is the exact reason why the Alpha Men podcast exists.
- 42:20SPEAKER_02: Even though we don't lean as hard into it as as we used to, and uh the idea for this show came from this idea, but um new study shows normal male behavior is still the problem, according to people who've never had to solve one.
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: So they're saying they're saying in this study that competitiveness, stoicism, risk taking are still being treated like character flaws in schools and corporate offices.
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: So the same traits that build companies, win fights, fix problems are the ones that we, according to this study, need to soften.
- 43:20SPEAKER_03: You need to be competitive, you need to have a different perspective.
- 43:27SPEAKER_03: So I mean, I mean, staying you can't stay calm under pressure and still be how do I say this?
- 43:34SPEAKER_03: You can't stay calm under pressure and be useful in a pressure situation.
- 43:40SPEAKER_03: You can be you can be thoughtful under pressure, but you still have to have rational and unrational, irrational thoughts.
- 43:47SPEAKER_02: Well, what gets me is polite society, and I'll put that in quotes, okay.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: Polite polite society um keeps pathologizing the exact qualities that.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: The real world's rewards.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: Like uh it's funny how people diagnosing toxic mac masculinity rarely have to rely on it.
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 44:17SPEAKER_02: And masculinity toxic masculinity is defined as every single thing a man does.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: You're breathing, it's toxic.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: That is this is part of the wussification of America.
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: And uh whole bunch of shrinks and uh behavioral experts who want to uh demonize men basically for being you know being uh aggressive thinking is that pretty much see it, yeah.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: You're gonna have the metal like me and Emily are perfect for this.
- 45:07SPEAKER_03: And Amazon, a man, but for thinking wise, I'm more of the what you're talking about right now, the more you work with you on Pack the Panther.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: I'm more just aggressively thinking, and you're more of laid back, not laid back, more of thoughtful thinking.
- 45:26SPEAKER_03: And you say, okay, this is why we can't do it this way.
- 45:28SPEAKER_03: I'm not calling you a weaker when it comes to it.
- 45:30SPEAKER_03: You're absolutely freezing on me.
- 45:31SPEAKER_03: You're freezing on me too, but I've been dealing with it.
- 45:35SPEAKER_03: Is it me freezing?
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you've been freezing the whole time.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: It's me freezing.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: There's nobody in this house right now.
- 45:40SPEAKER_02: It can't be me freezing.
- 45:42SPEAKER_03: I just saw a full, I'm still running 960, 963 gigabytes per second.
- 45:48SPEAKER_03: So I know it's not.
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: Oh boy.
- 45:50SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 45:51SPEAKER_03: But but yeah, no, so like I was saying, I'm more of the rough thinker that when it comes to you and I.
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna jump out and jump back in.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: Because I got something weird happening.
- 46:03SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: That was fun.
- 47:26SPEAKER_03: Well, you you stopped the live, man.
- 47:29SPEAKER_02: Uh, I didn't mean to.
- 47:32SPEAKER_02: I was like, what in the hell happened?
- 47:34SPEAKER_02: I uh I went to close out and I clicked the wrong button.
- 47:37SPEAKER_02: My fault, my bad.
- 47:39SPEAKER_02: Totally my fault.
- 47:40SPEAKER_02: So uh anyway, we we were talking about um this whole thing about um everything a man does being toxic, and um uh uh it's just wrong, dude.
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: It just really is.
- 47:54SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's wrong.
- 47:56SPEAKER_02: All right, let's let's move on to entertainment and sports.
- 47:58SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z landing the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 48:05SPEAKER_03: I like Jay-Z.
- 48:07SPEAKER_03: I really do.
- 48:11SPEAKER_03: But yeah.
- 48:15SPEAKER_03: See, you and I agree when it comes to this stuff.
- 48:17SPEAKER_03: We both agree it should once in a while be the hairband.
- 48:22SPEAKER_03: The A C D C's, the the the Let's Yeah, yeah, but before they're gone, dude.
- 48:29SPEAKER_02: You know, look look, I get that it's not my game.
- 48:31SPEAKER_02: Like, I I get the NFL's trying to reach a younger audience, but Jay-Z ain't reaching no younger audience.
- 48:36SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z's my era, right?
- 48:39SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 48:40SPEAKER_02: So, like, you know, I get Bad Bunny and I get Taylor Swift, and I get, you know, actually, she hasn't done a Super Bowl yet, has she?
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: Anyway, I don't pay attention, but whatever.
- 48:52SPEAKER_02: Has she done a Super Bowl?
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: I'm checking, I don't think she has.
- 48:57SPEAKER_02: Well, that'll be a big deal when she does.
- 48:59SPEAKER_02: All right, but but you know, look uh.
- 49:03SPEAKER_02: And I know Michelle's out there watching in Ohio.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: I know Michelle's watching in Ohio.
- 49:08SPEAKER_02: I know who Michelle wants to see.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: Weird Al Yankovic.
- 49:14SPEAKER_02: Weird Al.
- 49:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:16SPEAKER_02: Which actually it would be an entertaining halftime show, you have to admit.
- 49:20SPEAKER_02: I mean, I saw, yeah.
- 49:22SPEAKER_03: You know, I saw I saw him at uh I saw him at a Dallas Airport years ago.
- 49:26SPEAKER_02: I've interviewed him, I've met him backstage.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: He's very um you you can tell that when he has to be Al, he flips a switch.
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: And when he doesn't have to be Al, he's very shy and he doesn't look anyone in the eye, and it's really kind of weird.
- 49:47SPEAKER_02: Because every time you see him, he's like, hey, I'm Al, you know, and he's zany and you know, all nine yards.
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: And um, so it is uh uh kind of strange.
- 49:58SPEAKER_02: But um no, what I'm what I'm saying is look, uh, I don't care that you know, uh I'm not huge into hip hop, I like some of it, right?
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: Okay, but I think there should be something for everyone.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: So I don't have a problem with one year being hip-hop and one year being country and one year being rock and one year, you know.
- 50:18SPEAKER_02: I just don't want the 70s up with people bullshit, you know what I mean?
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: Like that was the worst stuff in the whole world.
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: You know, the dance tribes who sang folk songs, you know.
- 50:31SPEAKER_02: Um, but uh yes, check the map says yes.
- 50:34SPEAKER_02: I don't know, I'm assuming that's for weird owl.
- 50:37SPEAKER_02: That must be for weird ow.
- 50:39SPEAKER_03: But Michelle says definitely.
- 50:44SPEAKER_03: Yes, who would you want to see?
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: Well, that's the thing.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: I I want to see ACDC before they call it quits or Guns N' Roses, which will never happen because Axl Rose is such a dumbass, you know?
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: He's not controllable.
- 51:04SPEAKER_02: Then the NFL is not gonna take a chance at putting Axl Rose on the biggest stage in the world and him dropping 4,700 F-bombs, you know what I mean?
- 51:14SPEAKER_02: They're just they're not gonna do it, right?
- 51:17SPEAKER_02: So then you go to things like, well, what about Def Leopard?
- 51:21SPEAKER_02: What about Bon Jovi before they call it quits?
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: They just launched a new tour.
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: You know, what about Motley Crue before they call it quits?
- 51:28SPEAKER_02: Although Vince really can't sing anymore, you know?
- 51:31unknown: Yeah.
- 51:32SPEAKER_02: Um so you know, those are the those are the bands that I want to see.
- 51:38SPEAKER_02: But I totally get.
- 51:41SPEAKER_02: Um, yes, I checked the map as me on YouTube, Michelle.
- 51:48SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 51:50SPEAKER_02: So um, so yeah, that's that's what I want to see.
- 51:55SPEAKER_02: I I I think I sent you a picture of the bands I want to see.
- 51:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 52:01SPEAKER_02: Um Blink 182 would be a good one.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: Foo Fighters would be a good one.
- 52:06SPEAKER_02: Blink 182 would be phenomenal to see there.
- 52:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, wouldn't it?
- 52:09SPEAKER_03: It'd be fun.
- 52:10SPEAKER_03: It would be fun.
- 52:11SPEAKER_03: Hell, even and I'm not a big fan of him, Dave Matthews fan.
- 52:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've seen Dave Matthews like three times.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: I'm not a fan of them, but I mean, I don't know.
- 52:20SPEAKER_02: I just see like like Dave Matthews to me at the Super Bowl would be like cold play was at the Super Bowl.
- 52:27SPEAKER_02: It just wasn't real.
- 52:28SPEAKER_02: I mean, I don't know.
- 52:29SPEAKER_02: I just don't find that stuff that entertaining.
- 52:31SPEAKER_02: Metallica.
- 52:33SPEAKER_02: Why wouldn't you have Metallica?
- 52:35SPEAKER_02: Why wouldn't you have Metallica as a rock act on this on the biggest stage in the world?
- 52:41SPEAKER_02: Right now they're playing the sphere in Las Vegas.
- 52:44SPEAKER_03: They should do rock, rap, country, and another gene of music.
- 52:51SPEAKER_03: Do a four-segment, one song, or two songs each.
- 52:56SPEAKER_02: Well, they did that one.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: They did Aerosmith and Britney Spears and InSync, and I don't remember what Super Bowl that was, but it was it was wild.
- 53:04SPEAKER_02: Mary J.
- 53:05SPEAKER_02: Blige came walking out.
- 53:06SPEAKER_02: It was, you know, it was, you know.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: And that was cool.
- 53:12SPEAKER_02: That was a little bit of something for everybody.
- 53:14SPEAKER_02: I agree.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: But the headliner, first of all, I don't I don't care how good you think you are, you gotta have balls the size of watermelons to be the producer of the Super Bowl halftime show and then come out and go, hey, uh, the headliner this year at the Super Bowl is uh me.
- 53:41SPEAKER_02: You know, I mean, like, he had to know people were gonna go.
- 53:46SPEAKER_02: Really, dude?
- 53:47SPEAKER_02: Like, seriously?
- 53:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because honestly, Beyonce still has a career.
- 53:55SPEAKER_02: JD, Jay-Z doesn't.
- 53:58SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z hasn't.
- 53:59SPEAKER_02: I maybe I'm wrong.
- 54:01SPEAKER_02: I could be wrong.
- 54:02SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z hasn't put out an album in like 10 years, right?
- 54:05SPEAKER_03: I have no clue.
- 54:06SPEAKER_02: I did there's no way Jay-Z's put I mean like he's not a current artist.
- 54:11SPEAKER_03: Oh, he's a he's a producer now.
- 54:13SPEAKER_03: He's not really a singer.
- 54:14SPEAKER_02: And Beyonce's gone the country thing, which is hilarious, but whatever, you know.
- 54:20SPEAKER_02: Um, she's about the furthest thing from a country gal that you can think of.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: You know, his last his last album.
- 54:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 54:30SPEAKER_03: His last solo album was 444, which was released on June 30th, 2017.
- 54:35SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 54:36SPEAKER_02: The guy has not had an album out in nine years.
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: I was close, I said 10 years.
- 54:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:42SPEAKER_02: So he hasn't had an album out.
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: I mean, Justin Timberlake is more relevant than Jay-Z.
- 54:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 54:49SPEAKER_02: So, and look, I get it.
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, actually, Def Leppard does have a new album out, but you know, AC ACDC doesn't have a new album.
- 54:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but these are iconic rock acts that before they call it quits like Kiss, they should play a Super Bowl.
- 55:08SPEAKER_02: I mean, would it not be a travesty that ACDC never played a Super Bowl?
- 55:15SPEAKER_02: And you think about all of the I agree.
- 55:17SPEAKER_02: Like all of the all of the acts that have played the Super Bowl, Bruce Springsteen and The Who, and um Paul McCartney and um, you know, Coldplay and U2 and um, you know, all of these other bands.
- 55:32SPEAKER_02: The greatest selling rock group of all time, ACDC, the Black album uh from 1980 is the best-selling piece of music ever.
- 55:46SPEAKER_02: Okay, and there's no way there's no real world where it should exist where they retire and have never played a Super Bowl.
- 55:59SPEAKER_02: And I gotta tell you, that day's coming soon because they can't, you know.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: You remember when we went to see him at Gillette years ago.
- 56:06SPEAKER_02: How long ago was that?
- 56:08SPEAKER_02: That has to be 10 years ago.
- 56:10SPEAKER_02: More than 10 15 years ago.
- 56:14SPEAKER_03: Was that what was that?
- 56:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 56:18SPEAKER_03: So it was it was 15 years ago.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 56:22SPEAKER_03: And I spent almost like a gas.
- 56:26SPEAKER_02: And right after that, they threw Brian Johnson out of the band because he was too old.
- 56:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 56:32SPEAKER_02: And he and now he's and he's still doing it, you know.
- 56:34SPEAKER_03: You still remember you still remember Angus doing that guitar solo for 15 minutes.
- 56:39SPEAKER_03: That was awesome.
- 56:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, it's one of the best rock concerts I've ever seen in my life.
- 56:43SPEAKER_02: And I've seen thousands of rock concerts being a disc jockey, and you know, like I've I I saw Billy Joel and Elton John together.
- 56:54SPEAKER_02: I saw Pink Floyd.
- 56:55SPEAKER_02: I saw it, you know.
- 56:56SPEAKER_02: I I mean, I've seen literally thousands of concerts, and ACDC is top three, maybe top two.
- 57:07SPEAKER_02: My favorite concert of all time.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 57:10SPEAKER_02: So the the ending sucked.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: I'm a I'm a kiss.
- 57:13SPEAKER_02: I'm a kiss for that.
- 57:14SPEAKER_02: So I my my number one is a kiss.
- 57:16SPEAKER_02: I got your tickets.
- 57:18SPEAKER_03: Huh?
- 57:19SPEAKER_03: I bought your tickets for it.
- 57:21SPEAKER_03: You did.
- 57:22SPEAKER_02: You did buy me tickets for that.
- 57:23SPEAKER_03: Right now, if you got fucking shh shit and from the shit radio.
- 57:29SPEAKER_03: Hey, where's my tickets?
- 57:30SPEAKER_03: I got fired from NASCAR.
- 57:31SPEAKER_03: What the hell?
- 57:33SPEAKER_02: I was gonna I was gonna buy you some NASCAR tickets, but I didn't think you wanted them.
- 57:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Dick.
- 57:42SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 57:43SPEAKER_02: So if I had a if I had a top five of people that I think should play the Super Bowl, uh, it would be ACDC at number one, Metallica at number two.
- 57:58SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 57:59SPEAKER_02: I just don't think Guns N' Roses is ever gonna happen because Axl Rose is such a wing nut.
- 58:05SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 58:07SPEAKER_02: Um Def Leppard, Blink 182, Foo Fighters.
- 58:15SPEAKER_02: Maybe Bon Jovi in there too.
- 58:17SPEAKER_02: I don't disagree any of that.
- 58:19SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 58:20SPEAKER_02: So Imagine.
- 58:21SPEAKER_02: And they and they can they can headline it and they can have freaking, you know, uh Nicki Minaj walk out and do a song or whatever, you know, and a hip hop artist and Eminem can make his appearance, you know, and do some weird crap.
- 58:40SPEAKER_02: But I you know, I think those bands deserve to be on the biggest stage in the world.
- 58:46SPEAKER_02: And and the fact that that every year it's just something last year was terrible.
- 58:52SPEAKER_02: Look, I don't care what metric you use.
- 58:55SPEAKER_02: Bad bunny, whatever Samus.
- 58:57SPEAKER_02: Dude, dude, okay.
- 59:02SPEAKER_02: I'm not yeah, I know somebody's gonna say, oh, what a racist.
- 59:05SPEAKER_02: I'm not being a racist, but it should be in English.
- 59:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 59:11SPEAKER_02: If it's in America and it's the biggest television audience of the year, and it's a cultural event that is truly American.
- 59:21SPEAKER_02: I mean, you you think of the Super Bowl.
- 59:24SPEAKER_03: Um, technical difficulties.
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: You think of the Super Bowl, there's there's nothing more American than that.
- 59:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's got America written all over it.
- 59:37SPEAKER_02: Change the name to the World World Championship Bowl.
- 59:40SPEAKER_03: Don't start changing names.
- 59:41SPEAKER_03: Trump does that enough.
- 59:42SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 59:43SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 59:44SPEAKER_03: Oh, so so I won't change it.
- 59:45SPEAKER_03: Names, okay.
- 59:47SPEAKER_03: I mean that would be freaking eagle.
- 59:48SPEAKER_02: No, I'm just saying he Trump would be like, I think we should call it the America Bowl, you know, like yeah, I don't I don't know.
- 59:55SPEAKER_02: But I look, Super Bowl's fine.
- 59:58SPEAKER_02: No golf of America.
- 59:59SPEAKER_02: But when you look at things, things that happen in this country.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_02: You look at things that will that happen in this country, that cannot be replicated anywhere else on the planet.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_02: Super Bowl's number one.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_02: Okay, it is.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_02: Like it's it's just a truly American it should be a holiday, quite honestly.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_02: And if that's the case, your halftime performer should speak English.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_02: Alright.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_02: Alright, finally, technology.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_03: You got way off on this one.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_02: Always on AI wearables.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_02: Um, I see everybody's got these glasses now.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_02: I gotta be honest, I've been tempted to like buy a pair of them.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna wait a couple years.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_02: But then I look at it like, that's kind of creepy, actually.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_02: Like you're walking around with a pair of Ray Bands on that can record everyone and they don't know it.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: That's a little creepy.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't know.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_03: That makes me uncomfortable.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_03: It makes life convenient, but again, it's like having like I have Alexa in front of me, I have an Apple Watch, I have Apple air tags, not on me, but yeah.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_02: And and my wife has one of those rings that does all kinds of crap.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_03: NASCAR gave those out a couple years ago to everybody, and uh I didn't wear I didn't wear mine long.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_02: The problem though is all of this stuff is collecting your data.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_03: Well, because everything's about money.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's all about the athroom to uh see what you're buying, what you're gonna buy next, how you're gonna buy it, when you're gonna buy it, how much you're gonna spend on it.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_03: That's that's the whole purpose of that.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_02: And that's the thing.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_02: You have your you you have your meta glasses on, your AI glasses, and you go shopping.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_02: And your AI glasses have a camera in them.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_02: So now everything that you're looking at, meta's getting a look at what you were looking at, and they're like, hey, John was in the lingerie store last week looking at stuff for his wife through our meta glass.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_02: He had our meta glasses on, so we know he was doing it.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_02: So now we're gonna show John a whole bunch of ads for sexy lingerie for his wife.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_03: You know, or wearing the technology that we're wearing now is just like going to a board meeting and collecting minutes.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_03: That's all it's doing.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_03: It's all it's that's that's the somebody told me that a few weeks ago, and I was like, that is that is what AI does is is the minutes of our life to the seconds, and we're figuring out it's figuring out exactly how we want it, when we want it, how we're gonna spend on it.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_03: That's all it's doing.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_02: But that's the thing.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, we're we're one step away from paying a company to eavesdrop on our lives.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_02: Wait, one step.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_02: We are doing it.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_02: We're we're we're paying subscriptions to for a company to eavesdrop on our private conversations.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_03: Like right now, everything we talk about is here.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_03: Listen to me.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_03: My phone, our phones.
- 1:03:14SPEAKER_03: Both my phones are here, listen to everything we're saying.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_02: But and and and I get it, like the the sales pitch is it's convenient.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_02: It's convenience.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_02: It's it's convenient, it's convenience, it's convenience.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_02: But in the same token, it's quietly recording the most unfiltered parts of your life at the same time.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_02: And the sales pitch is helpfulness, but the reality is constant surveillance that you volunteered for, you know, like I can't disagree with anything you're saying there.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_02: So nothing says progress like a necklace that knows more about you than your closest friends do, you know.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't know.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_02: I don't know if we're going too far here.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_03: We're we're we are a lazy culture.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_03: We want everything's we want everything simple.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_02: I think in like 30 years, we're all gonna be like the Borg on Star Trek.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_03: 30 years, nobody's gonna leave your house.
- 1:04:14unknown: Yeah.
- 1:04:15unknown: I don't know.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_03: Actually, I don't know.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_03: I gotta actually order my groceries.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_03: Alexa, can you just kidding cancel?
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_02: That is open season tonight.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_02: Uh, if you've got uh more takes on what we've been talking about, go ahead and dump them in the uh comments, agree with us, roast us, whatever, double down, we don't care.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_02: Uh on to the next hunt, next open season, next Tuesday night, because season's never really closed around here.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_00: Step forward and pleaded taste.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_00: Just know the verdict was probably decided before you started talking.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_02: And uh you send your Domestic uh disputes to us.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_02: We haul them into man court for ruling with uh the guidance of the freak jury that'll hold up in any bar in America.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_02: If you got a problem that needs solving, you can uh visit any of our social media pages and drop your man court dilemma into a uh a DM.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_02: By the way, uh I the wig this week reminds me.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_02: I finally got to see Young Washington, the movie.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what a great movie, dude.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_03: It was a great movie.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_02: Is it on Netflix?
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_02: Uh it's on Angel Studios.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_03: So I don't know what that is.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_02: So uh man, what a great movie.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_02: Check it out.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_02: You'll love it.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_02: Um so anyway, uh, you can join the freak jury just by commenting wherever you may be watching from tonight.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_02: Uh, give our plaintiff uh your advice, hit the comment tab.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_02: Let's uh dive into tonight's case where bad decisions are put on trial, and common sense is the only one we pretend to follow.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_02: What is our uh our docket number tonight, baby Huey?
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_02: Exploding.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_03: There it is.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_03: Some reason it's been my computer's been really slow.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_03: Docket number 261025.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_03: Man, we can't talk about either one of us.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_03: Our plaintiff is Sean from Braintree, Massachusetts.
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_03: The case of the Soften Sun.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_02: Oh boy.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: Sean writes.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_02: Dear Judge TJ and Baby Huey, I'm writing because my wife has officially lost her mind.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_02: That's a very strong opening, Sean.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_02: And his um yeah.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_02: Uh our eight-year-old boy likes to wrestle, roughhouse, climb stuff, talk about becoming a firefighter.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_02: Last week she decided this means he's too aggressive.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_02: Now she signed him up for an after school mindfulness and emotional regulation class.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_02: Holy crap.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_02: And inform me that I need to model softer behavior around the house.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_02: Holy moly.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_02: Softer behavior.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_02: I told her the kid is just being a boy.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_02: She told me I was reinforcing toxic patterns.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_02: I told her he this is not gonna take very long, baby Huey.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you right now.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_02: Um, I told her he doesn't have toxic patterns, he has a pulse.
- 1:08:29SPEAKER_02: I'm not doing breathing circles every time the boy gets excited.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_02: I'm not taking away his energy, and I'm sure as hell not raising a kid who's afraid of his own testosterone.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_02: So I'm asking the court, does a father still have the right to let his son be a boy?
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_02: Or do I have to pretend rough housing is a cry for help?
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_02: Respectfully, Sean in Braintree, Massachusetts.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_03: That's the problem I run into with with uh sometimes, because we got Connor, who is sometimes a softie.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_03: But he's still being a boy.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_03: He's still being a boy, he's still trying to figure out where his pecking order is.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_03: He's you know, he tests me once in a while.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_03: I'll have to adjust that for him.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_03: But um let the kid be a kid, let him be a boy, let him learn where his where he falls in the pecking order, and he'll figure it out.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_02: Freak jury, you can weigh in in the comments section is open, but uh so Sean in Braintree, Massachusetts stands accused of the high crime of letting his eight-year-old son act like an eight-year-old boy.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_02: Boy wrestles, he climbs, he rough houses.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_02: He dares to dream of becoming a firefighter.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_02: Now, Mrs.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_02: Sean has diagnosed this as aggression.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_02: Part of the patriarchy.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_03: Sounds like a nut job, Michelle says.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_02: You know, so the house can feel more like her personal yoga studio.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_02: I think I'm pretty close on this.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_02: Uh I don't I don't really even think we need preacher input on this.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_02: I really don't.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_02: I I just uh you know what?
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_02: The uh court has heard the evidence.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_02: The uh the verdict, Sean, you are not guilty of toxic masculinity.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_02: Uh you are guilty of marrying someone who thinks rough how housing requires a permission slip.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_02: And uh the sentence is this the mindfulness class is hereby canceled.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_02: Effective immediately.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_02: In big quotation marks, exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_02: And Sean, you are to take your son outside this weekend and wrestle with him and all the other boys in the neighborhood until one of you taps out or the neighbors get concerned.
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_02: All right?
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_02: Your wife, Mrs.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_02: Sean, sentenced to watch one full hour of boys being boys without commenting, sighing, sighing, or diagnosing anything.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_02: And if the phrase quote, model softer behavior is used ever again in that household.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_02: Sean is officially hereby granted the ability to respond with the official main court reply, which is he's a boy, not a scented candle.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_02: All right, court is jerked.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_02: That's main court tonight on the Alpha Men podcast.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_02: You'll be sleeping on the cow, you say that one.
- 1:13:04SPEAKER_03: That's that's a pretty tough one.
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_02: All right, brothers.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_02: Time for real or uh fake news, part of the show where I feed Baby Huey four of the most insane headlines from this week.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_02: Only much like our actual news media, three of them are 100% made-up crap.
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_02: But one of them is gloriously real.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_02: Your job, baby Huey, is to wade through the fake news and identify the real news story.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_02: And it is 100% free to play our home game.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_02: Just type in the comments what story you think is the real news because let's face it, John can use all the help he can get.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_02: So, here is headline number one tonight.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_02: Police called after man uses forklift to move his neighbor's car because it was parked in his favorite spot.
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_02: That's headline number one.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_03: I don't know what's going on, maybe Mox.
- 1:14:00unknown: There you go.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_02: Headline number two man wins election after telling voters he's unqualified and has no clue what he's doing.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_02: That's a bold strategy, Cotton.
- 1:14:16SPEAKER_02: I believe it.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_02: Uh headline number three.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_02: Study finds men who do their own home repairs are more likely to argue with on online tutorials than their wives.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_02: That's headline number three.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_02: And headline number four.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_02: State lawmakers propose requiring restaurants to disclose whether their homemade desserts actually came from a box.
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_02: That's headline number four.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_02: So you can put your guesses in the uh comments.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_02: Uh police called after man uses forklift to move his neighbor's car because it was parked in his favorite spot.
- 1:14:59SPEAKER_02: Man wins election after telling voters he's unqualified and has no clue what he's doing.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_02: Study finds men who do their own repairs are more likely to argue with online tutorials than their wives.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_02: And headline number four: state lawmakers propose requiring restaurants to disclose whether their homemade desserts actually came from a box.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_02: Three of those headlines I completely made up.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_02: One of them is embarrassingly real.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_03: That's pretty good.
- 1:15:27SPEAKER_03: Um I believe the cupcake one here, the the food one.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_03: And I also believe I mean hell.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_03: I believe this one, uh the election one for sure.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_03: And a parking spot one.
- 1:15:43SPEAKER_03: I mean, this sounds like something I would do, and it's gotta be in Florida.
- 1:15:47SPEAKER_03: And this one, this one doesn't sound real.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_03: I mean it does, it does because I would argue it was attacked.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_02: First of all, I think the AI photo gives it away.
- 1:15:55SPEAKER_02: I'll help you with that one.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_02: Uh because those aren't real people.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_03: You can see that.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_02: They're not.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_02: That's an AI photo.
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_03: But this looks like a real camera footage here.
- 1:16:07SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_03: But but it Oh, that's not a flawed attack, though.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_03: Might throw me off here.
- 1:16:17SPEAKER_03: Um we've eliminated.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_03: You're gonna go with what?
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_03: The second one, uh, the election one.
- 1:16:27SPEAKER_03: It's South Excuse me.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_02: Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_02: First time.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_02: First time ever.
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_02: He got it out of the box.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_02: He got it out of the box.
- 1:16:37SPEAKER_02: Um, so here is the real news.
- 1:16:42SPEAKER_02: We've spent years watching politicians promise to fix everything.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_02: From the economy to crime, and then we act surprised when absolutely nothing gets fixed.
- 1:16:53unknown: Yeah.
- 1:16:53SPEAKER_02: Well, one guy in Canada decided to skip all the political BS and just told the voters the truth.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_02: He's a 33-year-old Canadian by the name of Brady Rogers.
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_02: He just won a seat on the city council in Kelowna, British Columbia, after running one of the most brutally honest campaigns in modern political history.
- 1:17:17SPEAKER_02: His campaign signs didn't promise lower taxes, didn't promise better roads, or a chicken in every pot.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_02: Hell he didn't even promise to know what the hell he's doing.
- 1:17:29SPEAKER_02: Instead, his signs featured slogans like Brady Rogers.
- 1:17:34SPEAKER_02: How hard could it be?
- 1:17:38SPEAKER_02: Elect Brady Rogers.
- 1:17:40SPEAKER_02: I barely want to do this.
- 1:17:47SPEAKER_02: Elect Brady Rogers, just trying to pay my rent.
- 1:17:53SPEAKER_02: Elect Brady Rogers.
- 1:17:56SPEAKER_02: Let's see what happens.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_02: Those were the slogans on his campaign.
- 1:17:59SPEAKER_03: I mean, you gotta give him, you gotta give him.
- 1:18:01SPEAKER_03: I'd vote for him.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah.
- 1:18:04SPEAKER_02: That's that's a campaign platform right there.
- 1:18:06SPEAKER_02: Forget open change.
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_02: You guys run it on screw it, let's just give it a shot.
- 1:18:12SPEAKER_03: Run it on honesty.
- 1:18:13SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 1:18:15SPEAKER_02: Apparently, voters have finally found a politician who sounds like the rest of us when we're handed a job we never applied for.
- 1:18:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, imagine walking into your first city council meeting, having someone slide a billion-dollar budget across the table, and you look across the room and say, so does anybody around here know how to do this?
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_02: Because that's what happens in towns all the way across this country and Canada.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_02: Nobody's an expert in billion-dollar buttons or million-dollar budgets, right?
- 1:18:47SPEAKER_02: Trump is probably.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_02: And this is the thing, it happens, and everybody else stares at you because they're all just winging it too.
- 1:19:02SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 1:19:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so his sarcastic campaign went viral, and voters apparently liked what they saw.
- 1:19:11SPEAKER_02: Maybe, maybe they're tired of politicians who claim to have all the answers but couldn't find their own ass with both hands and a GPS, you know.
- 1:19:20SPEAKER_02: But before you assume Brady is just some knucklehead who wandered into City Hall looking for a bathroom, there is a twist.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_02: The guy actually does have a background in robotic automation engineering, so he's no dummy, right?
- 1:19:34SPEAKER_02: And he started a local business that turns plastic waste into new products, so apparently he knows how to build robots and recycle garbage.
- 1:19:42SPEAKER_02: And he's just not entirely sure about running a city.
- 1:19:45SPEAKER_02: So uh Brady says his campaign was very tongue-in-cheek, that he takes his new responsibilities very seriously after winning.
- 1:19:54SPEAKER_02: He thanked the voters and said he's excited to get to work.
- 1:19:58SPEAKER_02: And good for him, right?
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_02: At least he didn't promise to solve homelessness and balance the budget, eliminate crime, lower everyone's taxes, and bring back$1.99 gas by next Tuesday.
- 1:20:11SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_02: Because we all know that's never gonna happen.
- 1:20:15SPEAKER_02: Second week.
- 1:20:16SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:20:19SPEAKER_02: Let's be honest, if a politician put up a sign that said, I have no plan, but I'll read the instructions, I'm pretty sure I'd vote for that guy.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_02: I'd vote for him, sure.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_02: I would.
- 1:20:34SPEAKER_02: Because I don't think the rest of them are reading the instructions, to be honest.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_02: I think I might be able to do that.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_02: We have the greatest founding documents ever created in the history of man, and they don't read the instructions.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_02: So uh in any case, that is real or fake news tonight on the Alpha Men podcast.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_05: Well, look what crawled in.
- 1:21:38SPEAKER_02: That is the way you start the Red Foreman Awards, man.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_02: You're welcome.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the only uh award show where uh the trophy is a 12, a size 12 uh steel toed boot delivered directly to your ass.
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_02: Uh brought to you by Point Place's patron, State of Dumbass Justice.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_02: Red Foreman himself, the man, the myth, the legend, who believes every problem can be solved with a swift kick in the keister and a stern warning to be stop being a dumbass.
- 1:22:06SPEAKER_02: So uh tonight we're gonna hand out gold informants to some of the dumbest criminals to ever walk the planet.
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_02: These are not criminal masterminds.
- 1:22:14SPEAKER_02: These are guys who couldn't mastermind their way out of a wet paper bag with a map and a flashlight and a written set of instructions.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_02: So uh here we go.
- 1:22:23SPEAKER_02: Award number one tonight is the Diaper Danger Dumbass Award.
- 1:22:30SPEAKER_02: Goes to 18-year-old Alexander Holmberg of Minnesota.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_02: There you see him with his 18-year-old Pex and 18-year-old Flex.
- 1:22:41SPEAKER_02: There's nothing wrong with having an unusual hobby.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_02: You know, some guys collect comic books, some guys restore old cars, some spend their weekends arguing with strangers on Facebook about which truck manufactures best, Chevy Ford, you know.
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_02: But if your personal fantasy involves somebody else, a helpful tip tonight make sure they're actually interested before you uh turn it into a criminal case.
- 1:23:08SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:23:10SPEAKER_02: Xander was arrested last week after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend while trying to force her to wear a pull-up diaper.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:23:23SPEAKER_02: We're not talking about de pens for grandma.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_02: Um the guy reportedly enjoys wearing diapers and being treated like a baby and using a pacifier, all that other stuff, which is fine.
- 1:23:38SPEAKER_02: Hey, you do you.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_02: But if you're gonna do you, make sure the person that you're doing you with also wants to do you.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_02: Because if that person doesn't want to do you, that's where we have a problem.
- 1:23:57SPEAKER_02: Uh, wouldn't take no for an answer.
- 1:24:00SPEAKER_02: And that's when it stopped being a bedroom disagreement and an assault.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_02: Now he's facing the possibility of more than three years in prison if convicted.
- 1:24:09SPEAKER_02: You know, at 18, most guys are trying to figure out college work or how to avoid insurance on a car that sounds like a washing machine full of rocks.
- 1:24:19SPEAKER_02: Alexander allegedly decided his future involved diapers and felony charges.
- 1:24:24SPEAKER_02: So dumbass.
- 1:24:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_02: Somewhere his parents are probably wondering where they went wrong.
- 1:24:31SPEAKER_02: And somewhere else, a diaper manufacturer is deeply trying to stay out of this story.
- 1:24:38SPEAKER_02: Don't show the Pampers logo.
- 1:24:40SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 1:24:42SPEAKER_02: Next up, the uh Banana Bedtime Bonehead Award.
- 1:24:46SPEAKER_02: That goes to 41-year-old unidentified man from Seattle, Washington.
- 1:24:51SPEAKER_02: I know it's more fun when they have names.
- 1:24:54SPEAKER_02: But most burglars have a plan.
- 1:24:57SPEAKER_02: Break in, grab the valuables, get out before the homeowner returns, right?
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_02: This guy apparently had a different business model.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_02: Kick down the door, raid the refrigerator, and take a nap.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_03: I mean, what's wrong with that?
- 1:25:14SPEAKER_02: Well, Burris arrested the 41-year-old man after allegedly broke into an unoccupied Seattle home, drank milk, ate bananas, and then settled into the bedroom for a little afternoon siesta.
- 1:25:27SPEAKER_02: Some shut eye, if you will.
- 1:25:30SPEAKER_02: Milk, bananas, bedtime.
- 1:25:33SPEAKER_02: It wasn't a burglary, it was a toddler's weekend at grandma's house.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_02: Except grandma didn't invite him, and the front door was broken.
- 1:25:42SPEAKER_02: And it gets even dumber.
- 1:25:44SPEAKER_02: Shortly beforehand, the man had reportedly entered a woman's backyard and asked for a blanket.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_02: When she said she didn't have one, he allegedly accused her of lying, became aggressive, and tried to get inside through several doors.
- 1:25:56SPEAKER_02: She called 911 and he ran off.
- 1:26:00SPEAKER_02: Well, police were already in the neighborhood because of that earlier incident.
- 1:26:04SPEAKER_02: They eventually located him, pulled him out of bed, arrested him, charged with burglary and attempted burglary, and held on$25,000 bail.
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_02: Reports also indicated that he had an outstanding warrant for assault and failure to appeal.
- 1:26:19SPEAKER_02: But imagine being wanted by the police and deciding the smartest place to hide is in somebody else's house where you can leave your DNA on the banana peel and your head on the pillow.
- 1:26:30SPEAKER_02: And um because it's a very, very liberal West Coast state, we don't know his name.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_02: And that sucks because it's a lot better when we know his name.
- 1:26:45SPEAKER_03: You always hear these stories.
- 1:26:46SPEAKER_03: I wonder what why do people do some of these things?
- 1:26:49SPEAKER_03: What triggered it?
- 1:26:50SPEAKER_03: What what that's the part that always throws me off.
- 1:26:54SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm gonna go out on a limb here.
- 1:26:55SPEAKER_02: I don't know what it possibly could be.
- 1:26:57SPEAKER_02: There's all kinds of drugs.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_02: True.
- 1:27:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_02: Uh next up, the Flamingo Felony Award.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_02: This is an update to a story that we had earlier this year, uh, or maybe late last year.
- 1:27:13SPEAKER_02: Goes to 33-year-old Mitchell Fairburn of Canada.
- 1:27:17SPEAKER_02: Fairborn.
- 1:27:19SPEAKER_02: Uh Las Vegas has plenty of ways to lose your money.
- 1:27:21SPEAKER_02: Slot machines, blackjack, overpriced cocktails, a buffet you regret about 20 minutes later.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_02: But this Canadian tourist found a way to lose something a whole lot more important, uh, his freedom.
- 1:27:34SPEAKER_02: Mitchell Fairburn was arrested last year after stealing a real flamingo from its habitat at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas after taking the bird back to his room.
- 1:27:52SPEAKER_02: Let that sink in for a second.
- 1:27:54SPEAKER_02: You fly to Vegas, you check into a hotel, and instead of bringing home a Souvenir t-shirt, and you're like, I need me a live flamingo.
- 1:28:09SPEAKER_02: What was the plan there?
- 1:28:11SPEAKER_02: Put it in the bathtub, teach it to play blackjack, smuggle it through the airport in a carry-on bag.
- 1:28:18SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:28:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, imagine that.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:28:21SPEAKER_03: TSA see that.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_03: What is that?
- 1:28:26SPEAKER_02: What?
- 1:28:28SPEAKER_03: Do you hear me?
- 1:28:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I hear you.
- 1:28:31SPEAKER_03: I said, imagine the TSA looking at that going.
- 1:28:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_02: What the hell is that?
- 1:28:37SPEAKER_02: The bird's name was Peachy, and she was injured during the incident.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_02: Video reportedly showed Mitchell smiling and laughing while grabbing the flamingo by its neck and wings.
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_02: Peachy could have died, though reports have indicated that she did fully recover.
- 1:28:54SPEAKER_02: And Mitchell's explanation was that it was a drunken, silly prank after consuming somewhere between 30 and 40 beers.
- 1:29:13SPEAKER_02: At that point, you're not making decisions, okay?
- 1:29:18SPEAKER_02: You're negotiating with furniture at that point.
- 1:29:22SPEAKER_02: He also insisted he had no malicious intent to injure or kill the bird.
- 1:29:26SPEAKER_02: Unfortunately, Peachy wasn't a part of a prop, a souvenir, or a stuffed animal you went at a carnival.
- 1:29:31SPEAKER_02: Mitchell found guilty of animal cruelty and is facing up to four years in prison sentences scheduled for December, according to the report.
- 1:29:40SPEAKER_02: That's what happens when your vacation itinerary is planned by a guy whose blood alcohol level has its own zip code.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_02: Next up, the 10 Time Tanks Turkey Award.
- 1:29:52SPEAKER_02: Booze is a popular subject tonight.
- 1:29:56SPEAKER_02: The Golden Foreman goes to 55-year-old Brian Ballantine of Pennsylvania.
- 1:30:03SPEAKER_02: Now most people remember their first DUI.
- 1:30:07SPEAKER_02: I've never personally had one myself.
- 1:30:15SPEAKER_02: But by the 10th, you'd think someone would finally say, hey, maybe uh driving after drinking isn't working out for you.
- 1:30:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:30:28SPEAKER_02: But not Brian Ballantin of Pennsylvania.
- 1:30:31SPEAKER_02: Brian was arrested on suspicion of his 10th DUI.
- 1:30:36SPEAKER_02: And the location of his latest incident makes the story even more unbelievable.
- 1:30:42SPEAKER_02: I don't think it's called a suspicion anymore.
- 1:30:44SPEAKER_03: I think it's more of a fact.
- 1:30:45SPEAKER_02: Brian was parked outside of a wait for it, wait for it, police station.
- 1:30:55SPEAKER_02: Near the station's gas pumps.
- 1:30:57SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 1:30:58SPEAKER_02: Not a bar across town, not in some remote parking lot, right outside the building where people who arrest drunk drivers go to work.
- 1:31:08SPEAKER_02: That's like robbing a bank and then asking the teller to recommend a good hiding spot.
- 1:31:15SPEAKER_02: After an officer noticed Brian went over to investigate, the officer reportedly described him as confused, disoriented, and observed a large wet puddle on the ground outside the driver's door.
- 1:31:28SPEAKER_02: Several empty beer cans were also reportedly inside the vehicle.
- 1:31:32SPEAKER_02: When the officer asked Brian if he knew where he was, he allegedly replied, Yeah, I'm having fun.
- 1:31:43SPEAKER_02: Which is what you say, right?
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_02: Do you know where you are?
- 1:31:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm having fun.
- 1:31:51SPEAKER_02: That kind of clears everything up.
- 1:31:54SPEAKER_02: Police reviewed surveillance video and reportedly saw him arrive, nearly hit another vehicle, get out and urinate beside his car with other people nearby, and then get back in and take a few more sips out of a beer can.
- 1:32:07SPEAKER_02: Brian charged with felony DUI misdemeanor, open lewdness, and driving with a suspended license.
- 1:32:15SPEAKER_02: Ten DUI arrests.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_02: That's not a bad run.
- 1:32:21SPEAKER_02: That's a frequent flyer program for the criminal justice system.
- 1:32:25SPEAKER_02: This, I mean, this is perfect for this one.
- 1:32:26SPEAKER_02: You are a hybrid.
- 1:32:27SPEAKER_02: Half idiot, half moron.
- 1:32:29SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 1:32:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, you would think after nine previous arrests, somebody might have suggested, I don't know, a taxi, an Uber, designated driver, even one of those motorized shopping carts from Walmart.
- 1:32:41SPEAKER_03: I mean, some Pennsylvania must have some very way back DUI laws.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_02: Uh they do not.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_03: I live Well, ten times he would be like in Vermont or like here in North Carolina, you'd be doing hard time.
- 1:32:56SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 1:32:57SPEAKER_02: Instead of all of those other places, he chose the police station parking lot.
- 1:33:02SPEAKER_02: That's just insane.
- 1:33:05SPEAKER_02: It's hard to imagine a more convenient place to get arrested without actually walking inside and just saying, Hey, arrest me.
- 1:33:13SPEAKER_02: Oh fucking fool.
- 1:33:16SPEAKER_02: Uh next up.
- 1:33:21SPEAKER_02: The final award of the night, the roadblock, robot roadblock royalty award.
- 1:33:27SPEAKER_02: I love watching these videos and people do these.
- 1:33:31SPEAKER_02: This uh golden foreman goes to Carolyn Marvin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- 1:33:38SPEAKER_03: Pennsylvania.
- 1:33:39SPEAKER_03: I mean, Eagles lose.
- 1:33:40SPEAKER_03: Yes, really weird people there, drunks.
- 1:33:43SPEAKER_03: Shut up.
- 1:33:44SPEAKER_03: I would never meant to live there.
- 1:33:46SPEAKER_02: Technology is changing the world.
- 1:33:49SPEAKER_02: Robots are building cars.
- 1:33:53SPEAKER_02: Artificial intelligence is writing reports, and machines are delivering food right to your door.
- 1:33:58SPEAKER_02: Carolyn Marvin, as you see pictured there, was arrested after allegedly repeatedly blocking an Uber Eats delivery robot in Philadelphia and ignoring multiple police commands to move out of its path.
- 1:34:17SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_02: The robot was trying to deliver somebody's$10 Arby's roast beef sandwich.
- 1:34:25SPEAKER_02: And a human being decided to turn the sidewalk into a labor unit picket line.
- 1:34:31SPEAKER_02: Imagine being a delivery robot.
- 1:34:35SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:34:36SPEAKER_02: You don't get paid over time.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_02: You don't have a pension.
- 1:34:41SPEAKER_02: You probably don't even get a lunch pray.
- 1:34:44SPEAKER_02: You're just trying to deliver somebody's freaking Arby's sandwich and fries before it gets cold.
- 1:34:50SPEAKER_02: And then suddenly some dumbass lady plants herself in front of you like she's defending the Alamo.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_02: Carolyn reportedly said she was protesting delivery robots because she believes they're replacing human workers.
- 1:35:09SPEAKER_02: She also says she does this regularly and believes her actions are protected free speech.
- 1:35:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, she ain't wrong technically.
- 1:35:23SPEAKER_02: Well, no, there is a legitimate debate about automation and jobs.
- 1:35:27SPEAKER_02: But the difference between protesting technology and turning somebody's food delivery into a standoff with a machine that can't even call it supervisor is pretty unreal.
- 1:35:42SPEAKER_02: Another woman reportedly approached Carolyn during the confrontation to see if she was okay, apparently thinking the robot might have hit her.
- 1:35:51SPEAKER_02: Karen explained that she was doing her part to fight the robot takeover.
- 1:35:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:35:58SPEAKER_03: Well, did you see what Microsoft did, right?
- 1:36:02SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:36:04SPEAKER_03: They're buying out 60,000 jobs.
- 1:36:09SPEAKER_03: Because of police guy.
- 1:36:12SPEAKER_02: Police ultimately arrested her and charged her with disorderly conduct.
- 1:36:16SPEAKER_02: Somewhere a human delivery driver was probably watching and thinking, Lady, I just want my job back.
- 1:36:22SPEAKER_02: I didn't ask you to get arrested by a room bub with a food budget, you know.
- 1:36:25SPEAKER_02: Like, you know.
- 1:36:28SPEAKER_02: And imagine being the cop having to fill that report out.
- 1:36:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_02: You know, protesting robot.
- 1:36:35SPEAKER_02: Suspect obstructed delivery robot.
- 1:36:39SPEAKER_03: After multiple commands, robot moved on.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_03: Did not want to press charges.
- 1:36:45SPEAKER_02: This is not stuff we worried about 20 years ago.
- 1:36:48SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:36:48SPEAKER_02: Back then it was just flying cars.
- 1:36:50SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:36:51SPEAKER_02: You know.
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_02: We got flying cars.
- 1:36:53SPEAKER_02: Now we're worried about women get we do.
- 1:36:55SPEAKER_02: Now we're worried about women, you know, getting into a street fight with a motorized lunchbox.
- 1:37:00SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 1:37:01SPEAKER_02: Like the robot probably made it to its next delivery before she finished explaining her political philosophy to the cop, which is stupid.
- 1:37:10SPEAKER_02: But um all right.
- 1:37:12SPEAKER_02: Every week we spotlight the spectacularly stupid, breathtakingly brain dead.
- 1:37:17SPEAKER_02: The people who make the rest of us look like geniuses of uh oh uh of the five, there can only be one winner tonight.
- 1:37:25SPEAKER_02: And I gotta go dumbass of the week, the guy with the 10 DUIs.
- 1:37:29SPEAKER_02: Are you absolutely I agree?
- 1:37:32SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you got nine DUIs and you're drinking, you're not going to the police station to park and take a pass.
- 1:37:37SPEAKER_02: I see gas.
- 1:37:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:37:41SPEAKER_02: I'm just I'm just saying.
- 1:37:44SPEAKER_02: It's you know, yeah.
- 1:37:47SPEAKER_02: So uh congratulations are in order.
- 1:37:50SPEAKER_02: Our uh dumbass of the uh week goes to 55-year-old Brian Ballantine of Pennsylvania.
- 1:38:01SPEAKER_02: That, my friends, is the Red Foreman Awards tonight.
- 1:38:04SPEAKER_03: Cheers, Brian.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_02: Last shot.
- 1:38:19SPEAKER_02: Before we wrap this thing up, what's the one thing we're aiming at?
- 1:38:23SPEAKER_02: Walking out the door, one clean unfiltered round left in the chamber before we're gone.
- 1:38:30SPEAKER_02: And I'm pointing, I'm pointing at that mancourt case.
- 1:38:36SPEAKER_02: I really am.
- 1:38:37SPEAKER_02: I can't that drives me insane.
- 1:38:41SPEAKER_02: Like you have an eight-year-old son who wants to be a boy, and that somehow is a problem.
- 1:38:48SPEAKER_02: That's the thing.
- 1:38:50SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go.
- 1:38:52SPEAKER_03: I mean, I agree with you on that case, but I'm still dumbfounded on the 10 D UIs.
- 1:38:58SPEAKER_03: I mean, that's just a nuts.
- 1:39:01SPEAKER_03: That's gotta be some sort of record.
- 1:39:03SPEAKER_03: No, it's not gonna.
- 1:39:04SPEAKER_03: I actually know a guy who had more personally.
- 1:39:06SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 1:39:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:39:08SPEAKER_03: I won't call him out.
- 1:39:08SPEAKER_03: He's still alive and he's a family member.
- 1:39:11unknown: Wow.
- 1:39:12SPEAKER_03: He's a family member?
- 1:39:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:39:16SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 1:39:18SPEAKER_02: Two different states.
- 1:39:19SPEAKER_02: I have a family member that is three.
- 1:39:23SPEAKER_02: I have a family member who is no longer with us.
- 1:39:28SPEAKER_02: My my brother, who we lost to COVID, he had three too.
- 1:39:32SPEAKER_03: So I've never close calls on Disney.
- 1:39:36SPEAKER_03: I mean, I will I got pulled over one time.
- 1:39:39SPEAKER_03: I should have got a DUI.
- 1:39:40SPEAKER_03: I won't lie.
- 1:39:41SPEAKER_03: I don't drink anymore, hardly ever.
- 1:39:44SPEAKER_03: Barely.
- 1:39:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:39:45SPEAKER_03: He spills it's more of a spilling problem than a drinking problem.
- 1:39:50SPEAKER_03: I drink water.
- 1:39:52SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:39:52SPEAKER_03: But uh I got stopped one time and I should have got a DUI, and the cop just was oblivious, and it's like, have a good night.
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 1:40:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:40:01SPEAKER_03: And Peak was on me.
- 1:40:02SPEAKER_03: Peak looks at me and goes, Wow.
- 1:40:05SPEAKER_03: I said, I don't know.
- 1:40:09SPEAKER_03: So that was my proud moment of being an idiot.
- 1:40:12SPEAKER_02: Well, when he came to the window and said, Drivers and registration, please, and you said, Are you hassling me, man?
- 1:40:20SPEAKER_02: Report this.
- 1:40:22SPEAKER_02: Probably the wrong way to nah.
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_03: He he came up.
- 1:40:25SPEAKER_03: He was just he was a young cop.
- 1:40:26SPEAKER_03: He was a young Barrytown cop.
- 1:40:28SPEAKER_03: And uh he just didn't it didn't click.
- 1:40:32SPEAKER_03: And I was shit based.
- 1:40:36SPEAKER_02: Well, what's the one thing you're walking out, uh aiming at walking out the door?
- 1:40:41SPEAKER_02: If you've got a different answer, drop it in the comment section, and uh that is gonna do it tonight for the Alpha Men podcast this week.
- 1:40:48SPEAKER_02: If you like the show, like, subscribe, tell a friend about it.
- 1:40:51SPEAKER_02: If you hated it, like, subscribe, and argue with a friend about it.
- 1:40:55SPEAKER_02: Otherwise, we'll see you next Tuesday night at eight.
- 1:40:58SPEAKER_02: And in the immortal words of the Beverly Hillbillies, you all come back now, you hear?
- 1:41:05SPEAKER_02: Night Oh shit.
