- MARK HAYES (00:00.878) All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Another exciting edition of Two Men in Black. It is happening, folks. The White House Correspondents Dinner. It's happening. Trump never goes. Will he go this year? Brock and Elle is here with me. Brock, we're just a couple of guys looking at the political climate through the lens of the Black and white communities. You look at the white community. I'm the Black guy on the show. I don't think Black America really cares right now, my friend. The media has always let Black America down with its depiction of us. And now it's letting our democracy down. Brock Ganeles (00:38.711) Well, I just don't understand how to how the room is going to be full with journalists after a full term of Trump. It's been a decade beyond the term of decade, calling using. The moniker that the media is the enemy of the people as a part of his rallying cry from MAGA, right? Lumping them in as treasonous characters, right? Threatening lawsuits, he never falls through on them, but... MARK HAYES (00:56.524) and with me. Brock Ganeles (01:08.927) trying to manipulate the press, certainly has been able to push CBS into hands that have moved them into the MAGA movement. He's really now he's trying to play the same game with CNN. I just don't understand how anyone in the media can. I don't know how you can fucking show up. Now I see there's been a letter written by 250 ex-journalists, maybe ex-journalists. I know Dan Rather, Sam Donaldson were involved. They pleaded with their cohorts to speak forcefully about First Amendment rights with Trump in the room. But to me, that's not enough. Like this event should not happen. This event only, and if it does, it should only be Fox News, OAN. This should be a right wing only. MARK HAYES (01:36.014) to MARK HAYES (01:43.928) What does that mean? MARK HAYES (01:50.189) Right. Brock Ganeles (01:56.895) event no one no one else should attend MARK HAYES (01:58.434) Propaganda event. Yeah. Yeah, it should definitely be a propaganda type event. You know, the media has just failed us at every turn when it comes to Trump. They won't even check this fool on his lies. And he lies every day. I mean, remember we did a running count of his lies in the first, in Trump 1.0. They're not even doing it this time around, right? Because it's so ridiculous. And you know, Trump said, what did he say? Drugs were down 98%. 98 % really? That's not possible fella. It's not possible. Because what'd do? You blew up a couple of fishing boats? Right? That didn't do it. Again, they let him spout this crap. and nothing happens. He's never held to account and no one ever puts his feet to the fire. It's mad. That's your job. Your job is to speak truth to power and you're afraid to do it. That's fascism. That's where we are. Brock Ganeles (03:15.872) This is an event to build the quote, the camaraderie and to show that the fourth estate and, and the power, you know, can get together for a night and like put the pens and knives down and get along knowing that tomorrow morning they're going to get up and be adversaries again, because that's the job of a free press. MARK HAYES (03:39.566) Right. Brock Ganeles (03:40.551) and our free presses failed at that job. They've chosen not to take on that task. So I have zero interest in the fact that they're going to all, you know, drink cocktails together and yuck it up. It's like, would you have had cocktails with Hitler and Goebbels and the crew? MARK HAYES (03:55.255) Right. MARK HAYES (04:00.449) Right. Brock Ganeles (04:00.64) Would you have like in 1936 is that would you have had a correspondence dinner in Germany, Berlin, Germany in 1936. And that's how I look at this. What the fuck are they doing there? They should be making a different statement that we're not going to be chummy and put our pens down for a power structure that is depicting us as the enemy of the people and trying to turn us into Hungary, which has MARK HAYES (04:10.583) Right. Right. MARK HAYES (04:21.87) Right? Brock Ganeles (04:30.574) become state-run media and now is being unwound and we're going in the direction of state-run media. So I'm pissed about this. I'm pissed that this event is still happening and I'll tell you this I want to see the list of those who show up because I will never read or watch them ever again. They're done. They're dead to me. Rachel Maddow walks in that room. She's dead to me. I know she won't but if she did if she MARK HAYES (04:37.634) Right. MARK HAYES (04:55.278) Thank MARK HAYES (04:58.7) She won't. Right. Brock Ganeles (05:00.524) did done don't want to hear another word from her so to me this is a this is a red line event it's black and white and there's no middle ground here MARK HAYES (05:03.714) You're right. MARK HAYES (05:10.274) Right, it's not good people on both sides. can't be stumping for Trump with your media responsibilities and your ethical stance. You know, cannot be to lie for Trump. It just can't be when you're for the people. right, the media, we used to fight for truth and justice. We used to advocate for the little guy. Now the big guy. is running things and shapes the narrative every single evening because the media corporations have all kowtowed to Trump and his you know whimsical lawsuits right 10 million here 20 million there right he's even suing the IRS right and what's a settlement from that our money again i mean it's it's and we're not even hearing much about that lawsuit They're not even hardly reporting on that. Which is so frustrating, Brock. You know, to see these media professionals, The ones who are saying we need to fight for truth and justice, be the minority. That's the problem. The decision makers are saying, because you know why, Brock? Because making money is the priority. The profit margin is the priority. Brock Ganeles (06:40.384) I remember I'm old enough to remember when we had the fight and boycott and scratch and claw to get Jimmy fucking Kimmel back on the air. Right. Because we wanted free speech and in essence, you know, not free press. But, you know, comedians are basically political satirists. Right. We wanted him to be able to poke fun at power because it's a part of American tradition and part of what makes us different than China. MARK HAYES (06:47.566) you Brock Ganeles (07:06.476) We're fucking G, know, bands like Winnie the Pooh because it makes fun of them. Like we're different than them because our presidents aren't allowed to do that. But Trump's bullied the press and the press is going to play along. They're going to go there on Saturday night and get all dressed up and have a bunch of cocktails and feel as though they accomplished what? So to me, making strident comments from the from the fucking podium is not enough. The statement to make is to boycott the event. And I don't think we're gonna get that. MARK HAYES (07:42.744) You're right. No, you're not because that's gonna create too much of a stir. Trump's gonna get pissed about it and take action. And when he takes action, you know, these people are afraid of what he might do. And the fear is what's keeping people in that room. All right, even though Trump's never even been since Obama roasted it. What was that, 2010, 2011? Brock Ganeles (08:09.548) 2011 apparently, he's never attended this. But now he thinks he can attend it because he's bullied them into submission. And it even goes beyond Trump. It goes to the fact that RFK's out there saying that we've solved measles better than any other country on the planet when we have the biggest measles outbreak of our lifetime. It goes to the next level, right? Because all these chummy White House correspondents when they're reporting on the fact that Jared Kushner is fucking leading our MARK HAYES (08:13.198) OOF Brock Ganeles (08:39.656) Envoy. in peace discussions in the middle East won't even put in their stories. They bury the fact that Jared took 2 billion from Saudi Arabia. So who is Jared representing when he's in those talks, but they play along and write it. This is a white, you know, from the times to the Washington post, to the wall street journal, just write as if Jared Kushner's some legitimate representative of the American people and the American national interests and these same fuckers are gonna go share cocktails with Jared and what and Stephen Miller and Carolyn Levitt on Saturday night? Get the fuck out of here. MARK HAYES (09:20.98) Right, right. It's ridiculous. What does the Jewish community think about that? What Jared is doing, playing both sides against the middle and meanwhile enriching himself. mean, Jared is the picture of disgusting corporate greed that we can't stand. Brock Ganeles (09:44.385) I gotta say that Jewish community is way too quiet on Jared Kushner. And the fact that when you asked the question, I wasn't sure the answer was like, no one ever fucking talks about it. No one ever, ever talks about it. It's, know, Jewish Americans are fucking lost right now because they've been supporting Democrats forever. And now they're stuck with, you know, in essence, what has been a, you know, have had a pro-Israel stance and have been on the side of the Democrats who have been pro-Israel like the Chuck Schumers of the world. And now they have their own despot in Bet and in Netanyahu. And he's committed war atrocities and he's thrown a fucking wrench into the entire where Jewish American outlook on where they should be in terms of their politics. I know where I stand, right? I'm so anti Netanyahu. I think that Israel's committed atrocities. I think we have to cut our weapons deliveries to Israel as long as Netanyahu is in charge. But yeah, but on the Kushner side of things, Jewish Americans have been way too quiet. MARK HAYES (10:55.948) Wow, that's sad. That really is sad because he's literally getting away with murder. You know, especially with what he wants to do on the Gaza Strip. You know, I mean, think of all the displaced and the genocide that's going on, right? In order for him to profit. I mean, I can't imagine level headed people, Jewish or otherwise, are happy about that. You can't be. Brock Ganeles (11:26.932) He's being paid by the Saudis. Like he's the best investment Saudi Arabia ever made, right? He's gotten for the $2 billion he's gotten. America's spent what? A trillion in weaponry in bombing Saudi Arabia's enemy in Iran. So I mean, what an incredible, you know, return on their investment, but he's over there double dipping trying to get more, right? MARK HAYES (11:30.926) Right. Right. MARK HAYES (11:40.428) Right. at our jetty. Right. MARK HAYES (11:53.45) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (11:55.135) resorts in Gaza, you know, and who knows what the UAE and Abu Dhabi and Qatar are also greasing his and Trump's pockets with. MARK HAYES (12:01.166) Right. MARK HAYES (12:06.946) Right. Well, you know, he's acted on behalf of Trump because Trump's getting a piece of whatever Jared cuts, you know, because he's there with his blessing. That's the only way he could be there. Right. And I'm sure he's flying on our tax dollar. I guarantee you he's got an entourage that we're footing the bill for. Brock Ganeles (12:12.512) Alright, skitties. Brock Ganeles (12:27.904) How the fuck is our secretary of state not leading the discussions? I mean, we're like, why the fuck do we have Rubio in the seat? Vance is obviously a bummer. He'd go, you know, like, I don't know why Vance would ever be involved, right? So he's, maybe he went, maybe he's been sidelined. Who knows? He's so ineffective, but. MARK HAYES (12:37.859) Dude. MARK HAYES (12:41.55) He's ruined everything he's ever tried. Brock Ganeles (12:49.568) Where the fuck is Rubio? How is it like Jared and this guy, real estate guy, Witcoff, how are they our envoys to the world? It's fucking ridiculous that we've taken this as American people and we're not even, mean, it's, it's fucking mind boggling that we're continuing to allow this go on. It's been 16 months now of Trump 2.0 and a bunch of the media who should be fucking raging about this shit. MARK HAYES (12:58.477) Right. MARK HAYES (13:07.576) Right. Brock Ganeles (13:18.44) are gonna go sip margaritas and mojitos with fucking Stephen Miller on Saturday night. MARK HAYES (13:19.928) sitting on their hands. MARK HAYES (13:25.888) Right, right. One of the ugliest human beings in the history of American politics. The ugliest. He is our Hitler. Well, he and Trump. mean, yeah, our goblets. Yeah, absolutely. All right, Cash Patel. After his mixtape dropped, he dropped a lawsuit on the Atlantic and says that it's all a malicious hit piece. Brock Ganeles (13:35.68) These are globos. MARK HAYES (13:54.351) 250 million he thinks he's worth. The Atlantic says they stand by its reporting and will vigorously defend it against a meritless lawsuit. I think he's exposing himself. I love it. I love it. Brock Ganeles (14:08.256) Yeah. I don't know why he wants more publicity around the fact that he drinks too much. He has that. I don't know if you've seen that video of him dancing around the hotel room. didn't like that one. And the fact that the words out that like he doesn't go to any meetings. Like, you know, he already looked like a buffoon with the Olympic team. Right. And he's and he's got his fucking operatives. MARK HAYES (14:17.71) Butt naked? Yeah, was tiny ladies. MARK HAYES (14:25.752) Right. MARK HAYES (14:29.621) Right. Brock Ganeles (14:33.172) driving his girlfriend's friends home after Bender's in fucking downtown Nashville. So like you'd think Cash Patel would want to put this to rest. But as you start, as you were staying, it got me to thinking, is anyone from the Atlantic going to the White House correspondence dinner while they're being sued by for 250 million by the head of the fucking FBI? Like, are they sending someone to this? And if not, how about in solidarity? No one else send one someone to this because once you report the truth, MARK HAYES (14:47.746) Ha! MARK HAYES (14:51.296) Right. Right. MARK HAYES (14:58.158) You're with us, Right. Brock Ganeles (15:02.86) They, you know, Trump's fucking cronies trying to basically put them at a business is what he's trying to do. Make it so expensive that they can't operate. What is anyone going to care about the Atlantic? If the Atlantic sends someone, it's a fucking embarrassment for them. But second of all, there'll be no solidarity with them. You can tell me all those seats are going to be full. MARK HAYES (15:07.692) Right. Right. Right. Right. MARK HAYES (15:24.662) No. No. Yep. Brock Ganeles (15:27.274) Patel is a fucking joke. But yeah, I'm glad the Atlantic wrote that article. They were being the proper role of the fourth estate, calling out power and abusive power. That is like the core job of the media. MARK HAYES (15:34.284) Right? Right? MARK HAYES (15:40.619) of the media. Yep. And you know what? They sourced the hell out of that story. But they had like two dozen current and former employees that went under that. Well, obviously under anonymity. But you know, look, the Atlantic is gonna, you know, they lawyer that thing to death before they printed that. So, you know, the fact that he's trying to get a quarter billion out of them, You know, he's just wasting his time. But again, it ain't his money, it's ours. Right? So he could care less. You know? I mean, he's not doing this with his own personal attorney. You know, he's suing them with government officials, government attorneys, which we pay for. Brock Ganeles (16:29.952) I mean, Hegseth and Patel are fucking disgrace between the two. We got two fucking alcoholics who don't show up to fucking meetings, have no idea what's going on. One's a raging religious zealot in Hegseth and Patel is somehow the job is a way for him to like impress his fucking girlfriend. I mean, it's just, it's fucking disgrace. MARK HAYES (16:33.239) my god. MARK HAYES (16:47.832) Right. You can't tell me that if the FBI director put his girlfriend, not even his wife, his girlfriend on a private jet paid for by US taxpayers, this guy wouldn't have been impeached two years ago and he wasn't even in the job. I mean, come on, like how much is enough? Brock Ganeles (17:10.358) How is democratic messaging hard? How is this hard to message? The corruption is so fucking blatant. They're taking our money and doing this fucking idiocy with it and the selfishness, the corruption and the idiocy with our money. Everyone just paid taxes. This is the time of year we're pissed, right? We're cutting these checks and wondering what's going to go on with our money. MARK HAYES (17:16.066) waiting. MARK HAYES (17:28.952) Right. MARK HAYES (17:35.351) Right. Brock Ganeles (17:35.698) And we're watching all this bullshit go on with it. I mean, and we're worried, and there's a struggle to get a message across. Message writes itself. MARK HAYES (17:38.764) Right. Right. You're kidding me? You're kidding me? You're right. All you gotta do is look at the headlines. Brock Ganeles (17:50.344) I'm un-fucking-believable. MARK HAYES (17:53.961) exactly. Exactly. All right. Let's get into this Louisiana shooting as if it couldn't get any worse. The alleged shooter, I won't say his name, but this clown already had a weapons conviction and he was able to get his hands on a semi-automatic weapon to mow down a generation of children. About seven of his own. plus another. And he also shot two women in the course of this rampage. You know, Brock, again, the guns have more rights than the children. Brock Ganeles (18:38.828) We made that choice a long time ago. Remember when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when MARK HAYES (18:41.314) Yep, same here. MARK HAYES (18:55.606) Right. MARK HAYES (19:04.984) Right. Brock Ganeles (19:06.514) figured out a way to get his hands on additional firearms even after having a conviction because no one enforces that shit. No one cares. We don't care. MARK HAYES (19:17.87) So, that's Brock Ganeles (19:20.936) As a society, we do not care. We made the decision. We don't care. And I blame the Democrats on this side too, because they're always such wimps about being anti-gun. Like, we're not coming to take your guns away. And they tiptoe around it. It's like, no, let's take some guns away. Some people need their guns taken away. That's just common sense. It's logic. MARK HAYES (19:39.372) Yeah. Yep. Brock Ganeles (19:42.132) It's safety, it's national security. But we can't say that. We can't say this. You know, it's a big victory if you get bump stocks, you know, banned as if that really matters. It's like so extreme, but there's still, you know, AR 15s running around like, you know, they're, you know, like a milkshake. This is unbelievable. MARK HAYES (19:51.095) Right. MARK HAYES (19:56.408) Alright. MARK HAYES (20:04.296) Unbelievable. know, apparently, yeah, apparently his previous conviction involved him firing a weapon into a car with people in it because he said somebody out of that car shot at him. I mean, here's a perfect example of somebody who doesn't ever need to have a weapon in their possession, but he's got one, right? And he's got enough ammunition and whatever he needed, right? To ruin this mother's life, right? All because of a domestic squabble. And again, you know, we talked about some of the reasons that lead to these kinds of domestic squabbles, but you know, again, I don't want to hear shit from Mike Johnson. Right? I don't want to hear anything from you. Right? This is your home state. Right? You'll lie and say anything about any subject as long as it fits your narrative. And that includes gun rights. So don't sit here and thoughts and prayers me, you know, or whatever else you think you got, because we don't want to hear it. We don't want to hear it. Right, and these apparently, apparently these are brown babies. So, I mean, unlike Sandy Hook, there's gonna be even less of a damn given. And that's the bottom line. And it's sad to say, but we all know how this works. We all know how it works. absolutely. Brock Ganeles (21:41.644) No one's gonna care, this story's gone by tomorrow. We won't even hear about the Iowa shooting, right, like on the campus. Like, it'll never even be talked about again, I don't even know who the assailant is, we don't know anything about that because it got overwhelmed by a bigger mass shooting on that day, but. MARK HAYES (21:51.404) Right? Right? MARK HAYES (21:59.471) Right. Brock Ganeles (22:02.669) You know, it's another, you know, person who easily got firearms in a red state, but even in the blue states, it's so easy to buy them in red states and bring them across state lines. It's everywhere. We don't care. You made the point yesterday. You said we're being, the rest of the world looks at us like we're, we're violent and stupid. And it's hard for us to argue the other side. MARK HAYES (22:11.256) Mm-hmm. No, we don't. MARK HAYES (22:26.422) Right, Tim Cook stepping down. Breaking news. Yep. Coming across the wire right now. Yeah, so that is breaking news. Let me see if I can pull it up here. So is. Brock Ganeles (22:31.819) Woo! Ooh! Brock Ganeles (22:37.068) Okay. Brock Ganeles (22:43.917) He really went out with honor. Because all I can think about is in his last year, he flew to the White House and what, handed Trump like that gold fucking watch or some other horse shit that he called a gay man, Tim Cook, kissing up to Trump, who has like the worst record on LGBTQ freedoms by far of any president who's ever sat in a seat. MARK HAYES (22:54.638) I'll do them to keep. MARK HAYES (23:01.208) Right. MARK HAYES (23:10.765) Right. Brock Ganeles (23:12.395) But Tim Cook worried about his stock price. MARK HAYES (23:17.398) And remember, they took the app off the iPhone that was tracking the ICE agents, right? So people could follow the ICE agents' whereabouts, right? So there's another heroic move from, you know, corporate... Brock Ganeles (23:23.501) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (23:31.437) Corporate America, yeah. I don't have high hopes that whoever takes his seat is gonna be any different, but I'm just gonna go with a big fucking good riddance, Tim Cook. Fuck you. MARK HAYES (23:40.526) Yeah. Right, right. Brock Ganeles (23:47.33) you had a chance to make a difference. You chose not to in this time, in this one time in American history, the most perilous time for democracy in American history, you had a chance. You sat in a job that had a chance to have some influence and you would have thought with your personal background and who you are as a person that you would have a little bit of gumption and you could get outside of the exact stock price and think about, you know, MARK HAYES (23:50.446) And this time, yeah. Brock Ganeles (24:17.333) corporations role in society not just corporations role in the squeezing every penny of profits you can get out of it and you chose not to so good fucking riddance MARK HAYES (24:28.994) Right, John Ternes taking over the head of Apple's hardware engineering. Who cares? You're not gonna make a difference. He's not gonna do anything different. Not gonna do anything radical. Laurie Chavez de Riemer is out as President Trump's Labor Secretary. Brock Ganeles (24:39.785) same. Brock Ganeles (24:52.075) Wow, big news during the show. I mean, the fact that she was throwing fucking crazy parties and going to strip clubs, I think, and that her husband, is she the one whose husband wasn't allowed in the building anymore because he assaulted a couple of the, I shouldn't be laughing, it's just so fucking absurd and comical, yeah. MARK HAYES (24:54.402) Yeah. MARK HAYES (25:05.592) Yeah. MARK HAYES (25:12.403) It's so unbranded. It's unbranded for the Trumpsters. Brock Ganeles (25:15.411) I don't... so she finally got canned, huh? I wonder what she did to actually get fired. Because she didn't get fired for those other reasons. So what did she do in the end? MARK HAYES (25:19.67) Yeah! Right. Right. Didn't she take a private plane up to Vegas and party hard? They had pictures of her poolside. Brock Ganeles (25:33.773) I don't know that. I think you're confusing her with Cash Patel. And Pete Hegseth and Kristi Noem. Wait, like you can't figure out what name do I have to insert and what story? Like they're all, they all sound so similar. MARK HAYES (25:37.938) Right? Right? Right? MARK HAYES (25:48.632) Right. she, now she's the one who had the affair with the subordinate while drinking alcohol on the jet. Got her. Brock Ganeles (25:55.822) she was sleeping. That was her. That was her. Okay. Well, Kristi Noem was also having an affair with a subordinate who was acting like he was running the department. Kesha Patel is not having an affair necessarily. He's got the girlfriend and Hegseth as the one who buried the sexual assault charges years ago. Okay, I'm just trying to keep them all. MARK HAYES (26:00.931) That was not... What a joke. What a joke. I-I-I- MARK HAYES (26:10.753) Right. MARK HAYES (26:18.412) But what was he doing in his head? Yeah. Brock Ganeles (26:25.621) It's hard to keep the scorecard on all this shit. MARK HAYES (26:28.216) This is the party of values, this is American party of values. Yeah, wholesome, the wholesome party. Pete Hanks said, he have a love child while his wife was pregnant, doing all kinds of stuff, drinking on the job? Brock Ganeles (26:45.271) But this was the labor secretary. Well, I mean, she was she wasn't doing anything anyway. I mean, it's the most anti labor pro ownership government in American history. I gained the labor secretary was kind of a ceremonial position at best is probably why she was out partying because she had, you know, her to do list was like empty sheet of paper. Right. Her job is like your secretary was to do nothing. MARK HAYES (26:48.908) Yeah, love is the rebound. No. No. MARK HAYES (27:00.323) Right. MARK HAYES (27:14.902) Right. And she wouldn't have known what to do anyway. Another unqualified Trumpster acolyte just running around kissing Trump's tail just because. Right? The proximity to power. I don't know. Chavez? I don't know. If my last name is Chavez, I'm probably not stumping for Trumping. Brock Ganeles (27:24.716) Wow. Brock Ganeles (27:43.145) Interesting all the women do get fired first though MARK HAYES (27:45.901) Yeah, absolutely. Hey, but Linda McMahon is hanging in there though, isn't she? Doing a stellar job wrecking our education system. So that's awesome. We'll be the dumbest country on the planet by the time she's done. Brock Ganeles (28:01.037) Trump likes professional wrestling so he's got a soft spot for the McMahons. He was even in a couple of those fucking things back in the day. MARK HAYES (28:10.22) Yeah, yeah, and we got Mark Wayne Mullin with his UFC ties and his plumber's certificate running things. So yeah, we got a stellar bunch of clown car cabinet people just, yeah, ruining our democracy. How about, how about we call it that? Wow. Brock Ganeles (28:30.071) Well, while we're rolling with the quick hits here, Virginia redistricting vote is tomorrow. Let us hope we gerrymander back. Apparently it's not as much of a slam dunk as we would hope, but hopefully they have good turnout and remove the needle there a bit. So we'll be looking out for that during the day tomorrow. MARK HAYES (28:36.792) See you, Arrow. Yep. MARK HAYES (28:55.425) Right. Brock Ganeles (28:55.453) Second of all, Susie Wiles called an emergency MAGA strategy meeting because she's reading the tea leaves on the midterms. And I can imagine what they discussed. I mean, they have a mad king and they have policies that all of America hates. And the latest poll shows 86 percent of Americans want the Epstein files released. So they're on the wrong side of just about everything. So not sure. I'd be really curious. I would have loved. MARK HAYES (29:04.451) Hmm. MARK HAYES (29:11.895) Okay. Brock Ganeles (29:24.951) to have seen been a fly on the wall in that meeting to hear how they talk about what their strategy can possibly be. What do you got for me today? MARK HAYES (29:31.456) Yeah! Yanis Satekampo staying home in Milwaukee. Trade deadline has passed. Yes indeed a big star. A lot of talk about him coming to the Knickerbockers. Brock Ganeles (29:41.792) Okay. Brock Ganeles (29:46.99) yeah, I feel like that'll be back on the table at some point. I don't know why he's going to want to stay on a team that sucks as he's getting older, like he's going to want to win championships and that team is miles away from a championship. got one more for you today. I came across something that I'd never heard of. MARK HAYES (29:52.984) You think so? MARK HAYES (29:59.192) Right. MARK HAYES (30:10.081) Okay. Brock Ganeles (30:14.785) But have you heard about this trend of people defining themselves as Wajian? MARK HAYES (30:20.994) Wajian? What is that? White nation? Brock Ganeles (30:24.939) White nation. MARK HAYES (30:27.35) Wow, I had not heard of that. You would imagine there's quite a bit of it. Brock Ganeles (30:29.665) white and Asian. Yeah. White and Asian. And for those that are in essence by, I mean, biracial such a shitty term because race is such a fake construct, but multicultural between white and Asian and feeling, you know, sometimes not accepted in either camp a hundred percent because we're so siloed in across all different fronts. MARK HAYES (30:40.418) Yeah. Good night. MARK HAYES (30:54.186) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (30:59.493) And I read about it and I was like, you know, I'm all for this. I'm all for it. You know, people that have that have two nationalities, which we all do. It's just that people like me, where both of them are white, we just get lumped as white. Right. Because I'm like Russian and like Scottish, you know, with my father's side and my mother's side. But, you know, I'm just thrown in there as a white guy. Right. So I'm all for. MARK HAYES (31:03.4) Right. Right? MARK HAYES (31:11.298) Right! MARK HAYES (31:27.094) Right. Brock Ganeles (31:28.673) you know, in essence, cross-cultural people finding a way to identify and then create in essence, a group where they feel accepted and can share, you know, the different biases they get from each group because everyone wants to find their community that accepts them. So I'm all for Oasis and like one of the, you know, high profile ones is the Alyssa Loo who won the figure skating in the Winter Olympics. MARK HAYES (31:46.83) You're right. Yeah. MARK HAYES (31:55.66) Yeah, I'm trying to think of this. Brock Ganeles (31:56.334) is like a Wajian queen because like she had the white mother, Asian father. And so I'm full for it. It's just about like anything that can be done in society. And I know it's there's a downside to people siloing and all that shit. But I'm to look at this from the positive angle where I'm just all for where Americans can find community. MARK HAYES (32:02.562) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (32:23.679) and find a way to be accepted and maybe even bridge the gap between silos that are further away. So that's my take on Weijin. What do you think about it? MARK HAYES (32:31.629) Remnant. Yeah, you know, it's interesting. was wondering what took you guys so long to get there because we've had Blasian for a long time trying to think of some famous Blasians. There's got to be some out there. Brock Ganeles (32:45.217) The moral E Simmons yeah came up in the article I read she's one MARK HAYES (32:49.506) Yep. MARK HAYES (32:53.26) Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's a few out there. And they make the most beautiful babies. my goodness. my goodness. But yeah, so I'm surprised. I'm glad you guys finally got there with us. Hey, before we get out of here, you hear about these two guys that got caught running the prestigious women's marathon in South Africa. Apparently these two dudes tried to run in the South African. Brock Ganeles (32:53.579) she's the one I remember. MARK HAYES (33:23.434) marathon, they were disqualified facing a two year ban. you know, they swapped their, their bibs. yeah, was, it was like, Brock Ganeles (33:36.757) It was a women's race and they snuck into it. MARK HAYES (33:39.372) Yeah, they were trying to compete. They were competing as women. Right? Brock Ganeles (33:46.081) Wait till Trump gets a hold of this story. He'll fucking chew on. He loves South Africa. Those are the only immigrants that he wants, is white South Africans, right? They're the only ones welcome. MARK HAYES (33:48.798) yeah, but it's not that difficult. You know? That's exactly... Exactly. Exactly. Brock Ganeles (34:00.887) So did these guys win the race or did they? MARK HAYES (34:03.975) no, Seventh and tenth. Couldn't even beat the girls, huh? You run like a girl, huh? Yeah, got you right, exactly. Got your tail kicked. Sheesh. But all right, bro. Brock Ganeles (34:15.021) Guess not. Brock Ganeles (34:22.677) Alright, we're outta here. Come on, Virginia! Come strong, Virginia! MARK HAYES (34:26.903) Revolution. Brock Ganeles (34:28.909) We need those seats. All right, Marco, it was a pleasure. I'll talk to you tomorrow. MARK HAYES (34:30.242) Yeah, All right, see you tomorrow. All righty, peace.
