- 0:40Speaker 2: I should say on.
- 0:40Speaker 1: YouTube and make that happen if you would, Thank you
- 0:44Speaker 1: so much. It was the strangest bit of let's pretend
- 0:51Speaker 1: that what happened didn't happen by Representative Acosia Cortes, who
- 0:56Speaker 1: has now taken to being super smiley. Oh my gosh,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and no matter what she talks about, she's just smiling.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's it's very very creepy. It's it's Zarmumdannie creepy. We're
- 1:11Speaker 1: gonna we're gonna tax everybody, and we're gonna take their
- 1:13Speaker 1: money and we're gonna out people, and we're gonna dox people,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and uh, socialism good. And he does it with the
- 1:19Speaker 1: smile where you're like that dude owns a windowless van.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Just all sorts of off putting. But this this quote,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and you're gonna be seeing it make the rounds just.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Out of control in its Oh you know, all that
- 1:37Speaker 1: stuff we did to you over the last five six
- 1:40Speaker 1: years about woke this and woke that.
- 1:42Speaker 2: That was just a phase.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I have a local city councilman that has this uh
- 1:49Speaker 3: saying woke one was crazy, And I think that what's
- 1:56Speaker 3: important is that we have to assess what it.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Go too far with some of those positions.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I mean you you briefly supported the idea of defunding
- 2:04Speaker 1: the police.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Well, did the movement go too far?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Can we stop at the idea of woke one was crazy?
- 2:16Speaker 2: If woke one was crazy, what the hell was woke too?
- 2:21Speaker 2: And what makes anybody think there's a difference.
- 2:23Speaker 1: She's trying to rebrand the thing like somehow that was
- 2:26Speaker 1: then living the now. Why are you talking about yesterday?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yesterday is still happening all over the place. Do you
- 2:34Speaker 1: see the word manipulation happening right in front of your eyes.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Woke one. Oh that was then? Why are you talking
- 2:41Speaker 1: about that stuff then? Why you was talking about then?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Why it was in the past. Why aren't you talking
- 2:45Speaker 1: about now? Why an't you talking about things happening now?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Why you was talking about then? As we've talked about
- 2:53Speaker 1: Anthony Fauci, conversations have have have come up about Joe Biden,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and I've talked about some of these things, and I
- 3:01Speaker 1: put out these shorts and people are like, oh, sure
- 3:03Speaker 1: you're talking about Biden. That was years ago, no conversation
- 3:06Speaker 1: of context. It makes me a believe that people don't
- 3:08Speaker 1: actually know what's going on. If you only watch certain things,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you're never gonna get a full and complete story.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Thank goodness for talk radio.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yet they attack me for actually giving the full and
- 3:19Speaker 1: complete story, to which.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I say, don't care. What does it matter.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You gotta scream at me on a Facebook page. Good
- 3:26Speaker 1: on you. Your mother must be very proud, and you can
- 3:29Speaker 1: ask her if you just walk upstairs out of the
- 3:31Speaker 1: basement while she's making your grilled cheese with the crust
- 3:34Speaker 1: cut off because she doesn't.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Want to hear the yelling. If there's crusts woke one.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I mean, that's a that's a mouthful of a statement.
- 3:45Speaker 2: There.
- 3:46Speaker 1: They ruined lives, they attacked people, the vitriol, all of it,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and then when asked about defund the police or other things,
- 3:56Speaker 1: check it out. You know.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I think that during this time, and during especially during COVID,
- 4:04Speaker 3: there was a huge opening of the Overton window. We
- 4:06Speaker 3: were shut down. There was some of the highest unemployment
- 4:09Speaker 3: rates that we have seen because of those shutdowns. And
- 4:12Speaker 3: I think that the doors were really open and trying
- 4:15Speaker 3: to entertain any and every policy that was going to
- 4:20Speaker 3: get us to a better place. And I actually think
- 4:22Speaker 3: that the discussions that had that were had in that
- 4:26Speaker 3: time were quite fruitful. I think that when we talk
- 4:30Speaker 3: about crime today, it's fundamentally different than the way that
- 4:33Speaker 3: we talked about crime and bringing crime down.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Right, you want to defund the police, you want to
- 4:40Speaker 1: have a riot of society and rational people don't.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Why not just say we never let a crisis.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Go to waste because it allows us to do things
- 4:51Speaker 1: we couldn't normally do. That was ram Emmanuel back in
- 4:53Speaker 1: the Barack Obama days. But she mentions the Overton window.
- 4:56Speaker 1: The Overton window is this idea that there's a range
- 5:01Speaker 1: of subjects that are acceptable and those are the subjects
- 5:04Speaker 1: within the Overton window and the subjects that aren't acceptable
- 5:07Speaker 1: or outside this, and the American people will only accept
- 5:10Speaker 1: the things inside the window. And the window does indeed
- 5:12Speaker 1: move because culture moves things around. So you're saying that
- 5:18Speaker 1: you utilize the crisis in COVID to be able to
- 5:21Speaker 1: talk about more government interference and more government largesse. You
- 5:26Speaker 1: are able to utilize the George Floyd riots, to which
- 5:29Speaker 1: George Floyd wasn't killed by police, he was killed by
- 5:32Speaker 1: being a drug user. Even though I think that what's
- 5:36Speaker 1: his name Shavin should absolutely be in jail for his
- 5:39Speaker 1: actions as an officer on that day. Let's take advantage
- 5:43Speaker 1: of this, and now let's get into the idea that
- 5:45Speaker 1: the police are the problem, not the actual criminal. We
- 5:48Speaker 1: shouldn't remove the criminal, We shouldn't have remove the illegal immigrant.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It is always the cop, and we need to find
- 5:54Speaker 1: new and inventive ways to allow the criminal to go free.
- 5:57Speaker 1: This is your argument that the window is moved and
- 6:01Speaker 1: it's better for us.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It is exactly who these people are.
- 6:11Speaker 1: They went about ruining lives, They engage the radicalness. Now
- 6:15Speaker 1: They believe that the radicalness has become mainstream, which it hasn't,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and they decide, well, we're on to the new thing now.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You shouldn't be talking about yesterday so much. Oh no,
- 6:27Speaker 1: you should be talking about yesterday, today and tomorrow. Remember
- 6:31Speaker 1: what these people did to you. Don't ever give them power.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Election day is November third. She can't be allowed to
- 6:37Speaker 1: win because the smile is adorable, So what's behind it?
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's so absolutely frightening
