Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: How much would it cost if you bought everything on Amazon? Well,
- 0:04Speaker 1: we got the answer for you. 106.7 Light FM. Cubby, Christine,
- 0:07Speaker 1: producer Kristen. I'm sure Amazon will be coming by our
- 0:10Speaker 1: house today a few times. And hopefully they'll wish my
- 0:13Speaker 1: wife a happy birthday.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Coco.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Happy birthday, baby.
- 0:17Speaker 2: She should have lots of Amazon packages today, Cubby. It's
- 0:20Speaker 2: her birthday.
- 0:20Speaker 3: It's every day, Christine.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:22Speaker 3: And I'm sure you're the same, right?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Yes. Like four or five times a day the Amazon
- 0:26Speaker 1: truck is in front of your house?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Well, it's been known to happen. And it may feel
- 0:31Speaker 2: like we have purchased everything off of Amazon, but we haven't.
- 0:35Speaker 2: The main Amazon website offers more than 600 million items.
- 0:39Speaker 2: So we're not there yet. Reasonable estimated average price of
- 0:43Speaker 2: an item on Amazon is around 50 bucks. So it
- 0:46Speaker 2: would cost you 30 billion dollars to buy one of
- 0:50Speaker 2: everything on Amazon. Let's go with that number. Let's toss
- 0:52Speaker 2: that out there.
- 0:53Speaker 3: That doesn't sound that crazy.
- 0:55Speaker 2: 30 billion.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Obviously, I couldn't do it. But, you know, the way
- 0:58Speaker 1: the lotteries have been lately, you know, where you can
- 1:01Speaker 1: win billions of dollars.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Take your fortunes and give it to Amazon.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So you're saying if I had 31, if I was
- 1:08Speaker 1: worth 31 billion, I could buy everything and then have
- 1:13Speaker 1: several million left over.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15Speaker 3: You could start your own company. Your own warehouse.
- 1:17Speaker 2: You'd have to open a warehouse to store all of that.
- 1:20Speaker 3: And then you'd fight the warehouse.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You'd fight the warehouse.
- 1:22Speaker 3: And I wouldn't be able to open the warehouse.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Live in a residential area. Don't let that warehouse in there.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Thank you, Natalie. But my point is, like, I feel
- 1:30Speaker 2: like I'm spending all this money and getting so much stuff. Like,
- 1:33Speaker 2: right now, what's looming for me with Amazon is I
- 1:36Speaker 2: know I have to place my order for vitamins. Do
- 1:40Speaker 2: you subscribe and save? No, I don't.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Okay, I heard.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And I always kind of put it off because the
- 1:46Speaker 2: vitamin order is super expensive, like, always. Well, do you
- 1:50Speaker 2: know where you're getting it from?
- 1:51Speaker 3: Because there's so many different people selling things on Amazon.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I know, I know. And you want to make sure
- 1:54Speaker 2: you get good quality. Yeah. You're right. I should subscribe
- 1:58Speaker 2: and save.
- 1:59Speaker 1: It didn't work for everything, but I know my wife
- 2:01Speaker 1: signs up for a lot of subscribe and save.
- 2:03Speaker 2: That's a good idea.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Or she'll sign up because it's cheaper to do that. Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 3: And then cancel it.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And then cancel. You have to remember to cancel.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Cancel that, yeah. Yeah. And you don't do Timu, do you?
- 2:11Speaker 2: No.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Because we've talked about.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It in the past. I know Poco's invited me. I've
- 2:15Speaker 2: had many invitations.
- 2:16Speaker 3: To do that.
- 2:17Speaker 2: But you haven't done... I've got to keep things under control, Cubby.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Their slogan at Timu is shop like a billionaire.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:25Speaker 3: And there's some good deals on Timu.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I know you guys have gotten some cute stuff.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: All right. So again, if you have $ 30 billion, you
- 2:32Speaker 1: can go to Amazon.com and put everything in your cart. Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It just feels.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Like you haven't technically.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Right. All right. What do you have coming up in
- 2:41Speaker 3: the news?
- 2:42Speaker 2: We're going to check out those headlines and who are
- 2:45Speaker 2: our most beloved celebrities.
