- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah, swallow your pride and sweat with the boys and
- 7:33Speaker 2: the gud and the girls. Great housekeeping. Oh we got
- 7:37Speaker 2: a bunch of comments. Deliver again. We are big reading comments.

- 7:42Speaker 2: shout outs PT six community, we got dad acts, we
- 7:45Speaker 2: got emails if you want to call in and leave

- 7:49Speaker 2: You can call into that hot line event to us However,
- 7:52Speaker 2: you want a great way to kick off a callback
- 7:55Speaker 2: to the hot line call in we had last week? Gabriel, Oh,
- 7:58Speaker 2: who's patting down? He was beaten down last week? He
- 8:02Speaker 2: was the enthusiasm wasn't fully there. We were busting his
- 8:04Speaker 2: balls a little bit. He's like, shout out my wife,
- 8:07Speaker 2: putting up with my military bullshit and then raising a
- 8:10Speaker 2: seven month old.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Right now, his balls on the internet. He's probably sitting
- 8:13Speaker 3: there and going, oh, great, glad I called into that shit.
- 8:16Speaker 1: God damn it.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Why didn't I have a little bit more energy? However,
- 8:19Speaker 2: we have, We have a lifeline right right here. His
- 8:22Speaker 2: wife rode in on Instagram and left a comment, Oh,
- 8:25Speaker 2: good Mother's day. Shout out the mother aka dad, shout
- 8:29Speaker 2: out what's up?
- 8:30Speaker 1: Guys.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I am the wife of Gabriel, the dad who called
- 8:32Speaker 2: in on your Mother's Day episode. I wanted to give
- 8:34Speaker 2: some insight on why Dad sounded so in it. The
- 8:38Speaker 2: night he called in, he had just put down our
- 8:40Speaker 2: daughter to bed on his own. Dad whin dinner, routine, lotion,
- 8:44Speaker 2: sleepsack everything. I stay at home with our seven month
- 8:47Speaker 2: old little girl, Tatum aka Tater Todd.
- 8:49Speaker 1: God.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I love that she's twenty three pounds thirty inches long.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Gabe is always there to give me a break when needed,
- 8:57Speaker 2: or takes night or takes over nighttime routine to allow
- 9:00Speaker 2: me to get in a workout or just have some
- 9:02Speaker 2: me time. I could not have chosen a better person
- 9:04Speaker 2: to start a family with the military life is hard,
- 9:07Speaker 2: and even harder when littles are involved. He makes it
- 9:10Speaker 2: look easy, and I'm beyond proud of watching the guy
- 9:12Speaker 2: I fell in love with become a dad. Thank you
- 9:14Speaker 2: for reminding us we were not alone in this chapter
- 9:16Speaker 2: of our lives. Shockwave tonight for sure, Kat shot Gabriel.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Come on, dude, Gabriel killed it.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Here's a picture of their family by the way, Oh
- 9:26Speaker 3: we got a photo.
- 9:27Speaker 1: We have a photo.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Did Gay bright in again? Gay roede in as well?
- 9:32Speaker 3: You see he wrote in he dropped an email. Yes,
- 9:35Speaker 3: he wrote in in defense of himself, almost to apologize,
- 9:39Speaker 3: which he owes no apology. He owes no apology and
- 9:43Speaker 3: essentially echoes exactly what his wife said.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's very beautifully written.
- 9:49Speaker 3: When he's like, guys, I just want to let you
- 9:52Speaker 3: know I was on solo dad duty for the night
- 9:55Speaker 3: that mama was out taking pictures for her photography business.
- 9:59Speaker 3: So I was key the noise levels down as I
- 10:01Speaker 3: just got little Tatum aka Tater Todd, our seven month
- 10:05Speaker 3: old to bed Little dad win for Mother's Day. Though, gentlemen,
- 10:09Speaker 3: baby said her first word today on Mother's Day. What
- 10:14Speaker 3: a great gift to mama. Even better, her first word
- 10:19Speaker 3: was dadad Yeah, you want to know what.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Her second word was? Good? What an absolute moment it
- 10:26Speaker 1: was for the whole family.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Also a little dad hack from the blowout we had
- 10:30Speaker 3: in the car driving to Waco Sickambars this morning. Good,
- 10:35Speaker 3: have a little first aid kit in the truck and
- 10:37Speaker 3: get some nice trauma shars. Had to just cut the
- 10:41Speaker 3: little outfit of our girl today because there was no
- 10:45Speaker 3: saving it without making more of a mess. Anyways, apologies
- 10:48Speaker 3: are the long email, love the bond in the community
- 10:52Speaker 3: that's been built. I'm twenty five, My wife is twenty five.
- 10:56Speaker 1: As well.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Tatum is our first kiddo, So y'all have helped us
- 10:59Speaker 3: learn a lot about putting the chin up, saying good
- 11:03Speaker 3: and embracing whatever parents have has thrown at us. Shout
- 11:06Speaker 3: out to the wifey Kat empty sixer. I couldn't imagine
- 11:10Speaker 3: anyone else by my side for this ride that we
- 11:13Speaker 3: call life pet Siko going Dark.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I love to imagine they listened to the episode together.
- 11:21Speaker 2: They heard the call in, they heard the ball busting.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Maybe they shared some laughs, some conversation, and then each
- 11:27Speaker 2: of them, in their own respect, was thinking about the
- 11:31Speaker 2: call in, thinking about the conversations they had, and they
- 11:34Speaker 2: each like on their own, wrote back in and said like, hey,
- 11:38Speaker 2: we'll both write something together. Yeah yeah, yeah, try to
- 11:40Speaker 2: get back on, like him wanting to apologize, which again,
- 11:43Speaker 2: no about dude, this is this, this is what it's about.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we're you know you're not. You're not gonna
- 11:49Speaker 2: be running on one hundred really.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Ever, if you sound like you're in it when you
- 11:53Speaker 3: call us, and we often say, oh man, you can
- 11:56Speaker 3: hear it in his voice, that is us validating your
- 12:00Speaker 3: existence as a dad who's in the shit. Yeah, like
- 12:03Speaker 3: you can just hear it in their voice. Yeah, Like
- 12:05Speaker 3: we're just doing a show right now. Yeah, yeah, the
- 12:08Speaker 3: minute we're done.
- 12:09Speaker 1: It's we sat like Gabriel like, oh, it's just.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Give me another coffee. I have an iceed one sitting
- 12:16Speaker 2: up here. I have a hot one sitting up here.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Like we just run on caffeine.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It is very true. That's actually a really good point.
- 12:23Speaker 3: We do sound very chipper, not that we aren't off
- 12:25Speaker 3: the mic, but it's one hundred percent when we're on
- 12:28Speaker 3: the show, we ham it up.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Bo. We have some fun here. We have some fun here.
- 12:33Speaker 1: But on Monday.
- 12:34Speaker 3: The first thing I came into the office on Monday
- 12:36Speaker 3: is I came up to you and was like, brother,
- 12:39Speaker 3: I'm fucking in it, and what.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Am I leaning to you and saying, buddy, this Mother's
- 12:44Speaker 2: Day weekend traveling to Missouri. Yeah, it's face rubs, it's
- 12:49Speaker 2: fucking hats going up high, rubbing the forehead. Yeah, let's
- 12:53Speaker 2: pick each other up right now.
- 12:55Speaker 3: As Jill's stepdad Cody would say, he would take the
- 12:57Speaker 3: hat off and he'd scratched her right there at the
- 13:00Speaker 3: crown of his head and.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Go a shit. You don't have the words to articulate.
- 13:06Speaker 3: All you gotta say, Yeah, Hey, how is Mother's Day weekend?
- 13:09Speaker 1: This weekend? Sherman, Shit, I mean.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Buddy, buddy, Like I said, the theme, the obstacle is
- 13:22Speaker 2: the way one of us learned the hard way.
- 13:24Speaker 1: One of us had to embrace the hard. Yes, who
- 13:28Speaker 1: wants to go first?
- 13:31Speaker 3: Before before I just absolutely undress myself. I will your boy,
- 13:36Speaker 3: Nick Hallett is way too nice to me.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Hey, Nick, So Nick Halley, he's the best man of
- 13:41Speaker 2: my wedding, best friend of mine.
- 13:45Speaker 1: He's he's a dude. He's a fucking dude. If I
- 13:49Speaker 1: an I and a jag, No, he's not.
- 13:51Speaker 3: He said, great job on the intro shirm, which is
- 13:54Speaker 3: a he was calling in the comment section for me
- 13:59Speaker 3: to do the intro. I did it last week. And
- 14:01Speaker 3: then he follows up with this, and then he hits
- 14:04Speaker 3: me up about my I'm so glad he called you
- 14:08Speaker 3: because he hit me up about my New Year's resolution
- 14:11Speaker 3: of in long car rides like calling your boys, and
- 14:15Speaker 3: he texted me for permission to call me. He said,
- 14:19Speaker 3: I would love to put you in that fold of
- 14:21Speaker 3: I'm adopting that New Year's as Alusha. I would love
- 14:24Speaker 3: to adopt him to the fold of people that I
- 14:26Speaker 3: could call. Would you be comfortable with? I said, Nick,
- 14:30Speaker 3: you call me whenever you want. I don't care if
- 14:33Speaker 3: it's late at night. You give me a call.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, Nick is just really good people. Dude, dude,
- 14:38Speaker 1: he is, He's the man.
- 14:41Speaker 2: He's the man, Like I love Nick Cally and Nick,
- 14:44Speaker 2: I know you're sitting there listening right now, just smiling,
- 14:47Speaker 2: whether you're in your car, whether you're in the car
- 14:49Speaker 2: listener right now, and I'm watching.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Hopefully he gets Rachel watching.
- 14:53Speaker 3: But on.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Saturday morning, the day of the wedding, I think I
- 14:58Speaker 2: hit him up because again, small town Missouri. Anybody familiar
- 15:02Speaker 2: with southeast Missouri. I grew up in Bonter, and it's
- 15:06Speaker 2: a place where it's like, you know, it's the alphabet
- 15:08Speaker 2: of highways.
- 15:09Speaker 1: A highway, B highway, K highway, E highway.
- 15:13Speaker 2: People asking, man, there's a lot of towns around here,
- 15:16Speaker 2: because it's you got Bonter, you got Farmington, Delge, Park Hills,
- 15:19Speaker 2: De Soto, Saint Genevieve, Frederick Town, all around, like the
- 15:23Speaker 2: closest city is Saint Louis, and in between all of
- 15:26Speaker 2: it is just like it's just like backwoods land. Yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 2: land hills, very rural. I hate saying this word rural.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Rural.
- 15:34Speaker 2: A lot of just driving green trees, just farms, houses.
- 15:39Speaker 2: And I'm hitting nickup, like, bro, is there any like
- 15:44Speaker 2: breakfast spots outside of the factory in the station, like
- 15:48Speaker 2: something that's that's a sneaky hitter or something that's you're
- 15:51Speaker 2: not gonna find on on maps or Yelp or anything
- 15:54Speaker 2: like that, because people aren't out there leaving reviews in
- 15:56Speaker 2: this area. Yeah, and he was telling me that there's
- 15:59Speaker 2: a bread spot in tear to Lac because we were
- 16:01Speaker 2: staying in tear to Lac at an Airbnb and we
- 16:03Speaker 2: ended up going to the station, which is like a
- 16:05Speaker 2: twenty five thirty minute drive to get to the station.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Is good coffee, good food, great spot, outdoor area where
- 16:11Speaker 2: the kids can play, which is rare just in that area. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 2: and uh, Nick's giving me the roll of DECKX of
- 16:17Speaker 2: what he's like. I've heard this about the tarr To
- 16:19Speaker 2: Lag Market. I just called their open. They're serving breakfast.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I just called their open. He called for me, and
- 16:27Speaker 2: he's shooting me all the intel, all the info. I'm
- 16:30Speaker 2: bitching and complaining with him about Scotty on the car ride,
- 16:32Speaker 2: and he's sending me playlists on Spotify.
- 16:36Speaker 1: These ones are hitters. This one helps just a great soul.
- 16:41Speaker 3: If you want a dad hack really quick before we
- 16:43Speaker 3: jump into Mother's day stuff, get yourself if you don't
- 16:48Speaker 3: have one. I'm being so dead fucking serious. I know
- 16:52Speaker 3: we're like kind of goofing around. We're not giving wrong.
- 16:54Speaker 3: You dropped the fort like that? Yes, sc six ers
- 16:58Speaker 3: PT sixers empty, Like, get yourself a Nick Hallett. I
- 17:03Speaker 3: got like five friends that I would consider those types
- 17:06Speaker 3: of humans. Where my grade in my head of how
- 17:09Speaker 3: I grade that friendship is if I called them at
- 17:12Speaker 3: three am and I woke them up and I said, Hey,
- 17:15Speaker 3: I'm one hundred miles away, my car is broken down.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I'm in a bad side of town. Is there any
- 17:21Speaker 3: way you can come get me. There's not even a question,
- 17:26Speaker 3: It's a yes, where are you drop the pin? I'll
- 17:29Speaker 3: come grab you everything? Okay, do you need me to
- 17:31Speaker 3: get anything? Like, get those people in your life and
- 17:35Speaker 3: cherish them because they're rare.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Dude.
- 17:38Speaker 3: And Nick's not even my boy like that, like he's
- 17:40Speaker 3: your boy, but he's such good people that when I
- 17:43Speaker 3: got introduced to him, it was like instantly like, oh,
- 17:47Speaker 3: you're good people, Like you're a good dude.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I like you and we just hit it off.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Yeah, And I should have to now segue it to
- 17:56Speaker 3: Mother's Day. I truly racked my brain on Sunday because
- 18:01Speaker 3: I took the dogs on the walk after this verbal
- 18:05Speaker 3: lashing from Jill.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Verbal lashing from Jill in the front yard.
- 18:10Speaker 3: No oh yeahs outside across the outside in the front
- 18:16Speaker 3: yard with their little kids, and they're having the most
- 18:19Speaker 3: beautiful little mother's day. There's music playing, they're dancing, there's
- 18:24Speaker 3: couples holding hands walking the street. And my wife truly
- 18:28Speaker 3: has baby on hip and I'm sitting on the front
- 18:31Speaker 3: steps of the house.
- 18:33Speaker 1: In your box she's got the finger going. I like
- 18:36Speaker 1: to picture you just in your boxers right now.
- 18:38Speaker 3: For the sake of the story. I was in my
- 18:40Speaker 3: boxing You're with work gloves on.
- 18:42Speaker 1: You on the.
- 18:43Speaker 2: First step, boxes on, no shirt, no pants, no socks.
- 18:47Speaker 2: You got workers gloves on. You're leaning forward, elbows on
- 18:51Speaker 2: your knees. You're doing the face rub. Jill's verbally lashing
- 18:55Speaker 2: with kid on the kid on the hip. Yeah, and
- 18:58Speaker 2: I'm after that she pj's on even robe over top
- 19:01Speaker 2: of the pjs.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Yes, and I after that, I'll go into the tongue lashing.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But after that tongue lashing, dude, I.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Was racking my brain of who the fuck do I
- 19:12Speaker 3: call in this situation. I need to call someone, but
- 19:16Speaker 3: I know if I call my mom and dad, they're
- 19:18Speaker 3: gonna go Jill's right and bad look to mom and
- 19:21Speaker 3: dad because of their son. They're gonna be like, I
- 19:24Speaker 3: didn't raise my son that way. You the hell's on
- 19:26Speaker 3: the phone right now. I needed a Nick Hallie. I
- 19:29Speaker 3: needed a true third party to be like Nick, I
- 19:33Speaker 3: fucked up, buddy. I just need somebody to bounce this off.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I didn't want to call you because you're at a wedding.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I could have called these boys. I'd almost recommend that
- 19:43Speaker 3: you call the for the dad's because we do kind
- 19:48Speaker 3: of need some authentic I want you to record those
- 19:51Speaker 3: situations by calling this phone, and then we can decide
- 19:53Speaker 3: if we want to air it or not.
- 19:54Speaker 1: But if I've.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Been oh vent on the hotline, that dude, that's really genius,
- 20:01Speaker 3: and that would have been all lie time voicemail.
- 20:03Speaker 2: The hotline ain't gonna judge you. Hotline ain't gonna give
- 20:06Speaker 2: you advice. Hotlines just there to give you an ear.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Damn it.
- 20:10Speaker 5: There are a lot of voicemails of dads that call
- 20:12Speaker 5: in and we I mean we've anytime we have a hater.
- 20:15Speaker 5: We have a guy that calls in his name's kid,
- 20:17Speaker 5: and he just rips cannon, thank you, yea. He rips
- 20:20Speaker 5: the haters apart, and he sent us another one for
- 20:22Speaker 5: like it's the funniest thing he knows. Like I've texted him,
- 20:25Speaker 5: I say, hey, we can't air these. He's like, I
- 20:26Speaker 5: just do for the love of the game man, the hotlines,
- 20:30Speaker 5: for the people. It's not for the show, it's for
- 20:31Speaker 5: the He's so explicit. We we want to compile. D
- 20:35Speaker 5: came up with the idea of compiling a lot of
- 20:37Speaker 5: Cannon's voicemails over time and giving you a super addit.
- 20:42Speaker 5: We'll have to bleep him a lot because.
- 20:44Speaker 1: He that's good. Yeah, like happy Gilmore.
- 20:49Speaker 3: If anybody writes in anything remotely negative to the show,
- 20:52Speaker 3: Cannon is on it.
- 20:54Speaker 5: He tried his best to do a PG version this
- 20:56Speaker 5: week and then called back and said, fuck it can't
- 20:58Speaker 5: do that.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I did, Yeah, yeah, gotta say it. So continue you
- 21:02Speaker 1: the verbal lashing. So you had me on the edge
- 21:05Speaker 1: of my seat the whole time. Yeah to you. Okay,
- 21:07Speaker 1: So here we go. Mother's Day.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Jill want a massage, and she wanted to eat dinner
- 21:15Speaker 3: at a nice restaurant.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Okay. She sent me the name of the place for
- 21:19Speaker 1: the massage.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I texted her back and said, what dates, Because I
- 21:24Speaker 3: can't just get you like a certificate of like that
- 21:29Speaker 3: you can then book it like I need dates, and
- 21:32Speaker 3: from that text message, there was no dates locked. There
- 21:35Speaker 3: was a lot of back and forth, but like we
- 21:37Speaker 3: never got to it. Granted we are moving on Thursday.
- 21:40Speaker 3: There's a lot kind of going on right, a lot
- 21:42Speaker 3: of moving parts. There's a lot of moving parts.
- 21:44Speaker 2: For some more context, this is Shuram's first Mother's Day,
- 21:48Speaker 2: very first Mother's Day. So anybody that is aspiring to
- 21:52Speaker 2: be a PT sixer, anybody that's in buds training, that's
- 21:55Speaker 2: completed buds training and going in and say next year
- 21:57Speaker 2: will be your first Mother's Day or just a mother's
- 22:00Speaker 2: your first Mother's Day will be in the future. This
- 22:02Speaker 2: right here is a great example and a great story
- 22:05Speaker 2: to be on your p's and q's. You have to
- 22:07Speaker 2: keep your head on a swivel.
- 22:08Speaker 1: You have to keep your head on a swivel.
- 22:09Speaker 3: And I'm being so serious to like, this will be
- 22:13Speaker 3: funny when I talk about it on the show, This
- 22:15Speaker 3: will be funny. I was truly pissed at myself looking
- 22:20Speaker 3: back at this situation. I'm pissed at how I handled
- 22:24Speaker 3: the preparation of Mother's Day. And for any listeners out there,
- 22:28Speaker 3: it's like kicking and screaming, this is how not you
- 22:31Speaker 3: have learned how not to do Mother's Day for a
- 22:33Speaker 3: first Mother's Day when you hear this.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Story, Yeah, so to give you grace too, Just to
- 22:38Speaker 2: give you grace because I was talking with you about
- 22:41Speaker 2: this yesterday. You're not privy to how important Mother's Day
- 22:48Speaker 2: Father's Day is until you're actually beat because think about
- 22:51Speaker 2: growing up. The only people who are putting pssure on
- 22:53Speaker 2: you when it's it's Mother's Day is dad, and when
- 22:55Speaker 2: it's Father's Day, it's mom. You know, it goes one
- 22:58Speaker 2: year out the other like okay, let me check the
- 23:00Speaker 2: check the box and we'll keep it moving. It's just
- 23:02Speaker 2: kind of like another day on the calendar. When you
- 23:05Speaker 2: learn very quickly that Mother's Day is, it's like Christmas,
- 23:10Speaker 2: it's sacred. Without the preparation and being like I gotta
- 23:12Speaker 2: get gifts. By then you have way less preparation going
- 23:16Speaker 2: into the Mother's Day. It more jumps on you. Yes,
- 23:18Speaker 2: then you don't realize how serious it is until you're
- 23:21Speaker 2: you're in the suck.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Go ahead, this is your this is your this is
- 23:24Speaker 1: your time. Thank you, thank you. Okay, quick breakdown.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Already talked about the massage, so massage in my brain
- 23:32Speaker 3: is already taken care of because I have credit card
- 23:36Speaker 3: and I'm willing to pay for massage. I just need
- 23:38Speaker 3: date from Jill. That's taken care of. Get reservation at
- 23:43Speaker 3: this really nice restaurant in Franklin. I get schedule at
- 23:46Speaker 3: Uber Black. We never do Uber Blacks. I'm like, we're
- 23:49Speaker 3: gonna do a little Uber Black. It's gonna be a
- 23:50Speaker 3: nice little thing. Have a phone call with Jill. Hey
- 23:53Speaker 3: do you have This is two weeks before Mother's Day. Hey,
- 23:56Speaker 3: do you have any plans for the day of Mother's Day?
- 24:00Speaker 3: And I was like, Oh, we could do something, blah
- 24:02Speaker 3: blah blah. Jilding goes, oh, well, that's actually gonna be
- 24:05Speaker 3: a really heavy packing day now that I think about it,
- 24:08Speaker 3: because I work. She works all this week, so this
- 24:12Speaker 3: weekend was like our big packing weekend. So she goes,
- 24:15Speaker 3: we'll probably be packing all day. Boys, boys, I see it.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It's a trap.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Run Admiral atbar. That's it was a trap. But it
- 24:29Speaker 3: wasn't a trap.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I was gonna say.
- 24:30Speaker 2: She might not actually be thinking I'm setting a trap
- 24:33Speaker 2: right now.
- 24:35Speaker 1: That was a and she wanted to see then what
- 24:39Speaker 1: I do with it. But I don't think.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Like her full intention was like, oh, I'm gonna like
- 24:44Speaker 3: make him think I don't want anything.
- 24:46Speaker 1: She more so was like.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Oh, we really should be packing, but her heart is saying,
- 24:51Speaker 3: oh my gosh, we should be packing.
- 24:53Speaker 1: By I really hope he does abst women.
- 24:56Speaker 2: They want you, our wives. They want men. They want
- 24:59Speaker 2: us to think for them and plant it ourselves. They
- 25:03Speaker 2: don't want to have to do their own planning for
- 25:05Speaker 2: their day. Yes, yes, which is hard for the male brain. Bro,
- 25:10Speaker 2: my dumb.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Ass, here's that and goes, oh yo, we should yeah,
- 25:14Speaker 3: because it is gonna be a big package, a big
- 25:17Speaker 3: packing day, because the wate's gonna be on me if
- 25:18Speaker 3: I'm not doing a good I need to be a
- 25:20Speaker 3: good packer on the weekend and not be lazy.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And maybe she's not thinking. That's seriously about Mother's Day. Yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 1: that's truly.
- 25:28Speaker 3: And oh and the massage is already kind of fifty
- 25:31Speaker 3: percent done and I have dinner, so like Mother's Day's
- 25:33Speaker 3: gonna be great.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, oh, my wife's badass, she's different. She doesn't
- 25:37Speaker 2: care about Mother's Day. It's like all my other boys
- 25:39Speaker 2: who are scrambling around for Mother's Day right now, their
- 25:42Speaker 2: wives are on the rest about Mother's Day.
- 25:43Speaker 3: My wife's cool. My wife is very cool. She expects
- 25:46Speaker 3: nothing from me. Holy shit, was I wrong, dude? And
- 25:50Speaker 3: just like the look of her in the kitchen where
- 25:54Speaker 3: I have like ballins and flowers and stuff, and She's like,
- 25:59Speaker 3: is there anything from Scarlet? And I'm like, holy shit,
- 26:05Speaker 3: that would have been a great idea Scarlett I get
- 26:07Speaker 3: or something.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Fuck. I know.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Part of me feels bad because I should have put
- 26:17Speaker 2: you on some more game before your first Mother's Day.
- 26:20Speaker 3: It's okay, your fault. I'm smart enough to know these things.
- 26:23Speaker 3: As soonously, boys.
- 26:25Speaker 1: This is this is why we have PT six to
- 26:27Speaker 1: help dude.
- 26:29Speaker 3: As soon as she said that, I laughed and it
- 26:32Speaker 3: was like that nervous like you know how they say
- 26:34Speaker 3: survival instincts and animals when they smile, that's like they're
- 26:37Speaker 3: scared as fuck. Yeah, like that, I'd like let out
- 26:41Speaker 3: a little chuckle and smiled and I'm like, eh no,
- 26:45Speaker 3: And I'm like, holy fuck, holy fuck, I don't know.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Let me go ask.
- 26:48Speaker 3: I mean, how easy is that to dip Scarlet's hand
- 26:50Speaker 3: and paint and put it all over a piece of
- 26:53Speaker 3: paper and put number one mom and ride it in
- 26:56Speaker 3: Scarlet's hand, you know, like something little she goes no
- 27:01Speaker 3: certificate that says officially a mom.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Did you get her a card? Yeah, but not like
- 27:08Speaker 1: I got her a card.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Because if you have the card, you just have Scottie
- 27:12Speaker 2: hold the card. Yeah, but I didn't, walking dude.
- 27:15Speaker 3: It was a very like half assed card balloon and
- 27:18Speaker 3: flowers like.
- 27:19Speaker 1: It wasn't like right now bombs are going off next to.
- 27:22Speaker 3: You, bombs ever back, dad, I'm in full like and
- 27:27Speaker 3: I can't get mad at my wife because she is
- 27:29Speaker 3: completely right. And as much as I tried to play
- 27:32Speaker 3: the defense of oh what, I didn't realize, Oh well,
- 27:36Speaker 3: you know, blah blah blah, you said we'd be packing
- 27:38Speaker 3: all day. That was the biggest mistake of all time.
- 27:42Speaker 3: That's like telling your general in the army, Oh well,
- 27:45Speaker 3: I thought the whole plan was to retreat the entire time.
- 27:48Speaker 1: And do you want to take the hill? Oh? I
- 27:52Speaker 1: thought we were just fortifying.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought, Oh, and she's sitting there like, are
- 27:56Speaker 3: you fucking dumb dude? You have no brunch, you have
- 28:00Speaker 3: no gift from Scarlet, which to this it doesn't even matter.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I'm saying this how selfishness I had planned to get
- 28:08Speaker 3: those school pictures scarlet school pictures like printed out and
- 28:13Speaker 3: put in frames. Didn't didn't do that, but at least
- 28:16Speaker 3: the thought did cross my mind.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, b I know that I love my wife.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I know that I love her and she's the most
- 28:25Speaker 3: important thing to me in the entire world. And I
- 28:28Speaker 3: did this much to show her that on the most important.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Because dad brains, thoughts are thoughts that are fleeting, but
- 28:36Speaker 2: our thoughts that we had. We thought about the intention
- 28:39Speaker 2: that goes on our scoreboard, but it doesn't actually go
- 28:42Speaker 2: on the scoreboard.
- 28:43Speaker 1: In reality, it goes negatives on her scoreboard.
- 28:47Speaker 2: At least I thought about it. I'm thinking I feel you, Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 2: but that means nothing, Bro.
- 28:52Speaker 1: It means nothing.
- 28:54Speaker 3: And I think the realization that I came to homecoming
- 28:58Speaker 3: is really big in Texas. In high school and you
- 29:02Speaker 3: buy these things called moms. Do you all know what
- 29:04Speaker 3: a mum is.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yes, it's like.
- 29:07Speaker 3: A big decorative flower and chef, a really fun opportunity
- 29:11Speaker 3: for you. You can put some pictures of these moms
- 29:13Speaker 3: are literally the size of these old high school girls.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I mean they're enormous and.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You gotta go pick her up for the football game,
- 29:22Speaker 3: and you gotta have the mum, and you gotta have
- 29:24Speaker 3: the little carnation mini mom, little bracelet thing that you
- 29:29Speaker 3: wear that matches her mom, and you got to get
- 29:32Speaker 3: a picture at the game and all that stuff Like
- 29:34Speaker 3: Mother's Day should be treated like homecoming, but times ten
- 29:39Speaker 3: of like the intentionality, the like planning ahead, the big
- 29:47Speaker 3: sparkler stuff, like the really cutesy fun like getting creative stuff.
- 29:52Speaker 1: That I'm fucking good at. I'm good at.
- 29:55Speaker 3: That shit, and I didn't do it for my wife,
- 29:58Speaker 3: Like I'm fucking pissed.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I'm pissed, dude, and I'm just sitting there. I mean,
- 30:04Speaker 1: that's the dad Loss. I'm sitting in.
- 30:06Speaker 3: The front yard going because I always go to you
- 30:08Speaker 3: gotta take it out on the yards.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I got it made out. Yeah, manually doing your underwear.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Work loss, family across the street, shovel going into the dirt.
- 30:18Speaker 3: At least he had a sense of hre Mary. He
- 30:19Speaker 3: gave me a little whistle, a little whoop woo.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Because you don't know how to articulate your feeling.
- 30:23Speaker 2: You just got to sit there and you take it
- 30:25Speaker 2: and you rage inside, you suppress your motion. Let's go
- 30:27Speaker 2: take it out on the fucking yard.
- 30:28Speaker 1: That family over there.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I know for a fact they're like easy hell boys
- 30:32Speaker 3: and the dog house because he see us with our
- 30:34Speaker 3: baby all the time. So they're like first Mother's Day.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Huh. Yeah. It's like the James Franco where he has
- 30:39Speaker 1: the noose around him, you know.
- 30:40Speaker 2: The old ladies like, well he fucked up, and the
- 30:42Speaker 2: old man just sitting back there suppressed emotions, just be.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Like, yeah, he's learning, he's learning. Hey, hold on, let
- 30:50Speaker 1: him learn. Yeah, learn, Let the boy learn. I'll go
- 30:53Speaker 1: give him a few words. Brother, did I learn?
- 30:55Speaker 3: And I'm just ripping weeds up and ripping weeds up,
- 30:58Speaker 3: and she comes out and goes just so you know,
- 31:01Speaker 3: if you think ripping the weeds out is making it better,
- 31:05Speaker 3: it's actually pissing me off.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Door slams. Fuck okay, right, what a bet?
- 31:16Speaker 3: And oh also, I don't even feel like going to
- 31:18Speaker 3: dinner to night. I don't even think that I want
- 31:20Speaker 3: to go to dinner. I know what that means. So
- 31:22Speaker 3: I'm bag we got Hey, honey, honey, I just stripped
- 31:26Speaker 3: myself down and pull her onto the couch. I just
- 31:29Speaker 3: stripped myself down.
- 31:30Speaker 1: You take off the boxers and the workloves.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Full humility, Yeah, full humility on hands and knees essentially, Honey,
- 31:39Speaker 3: I really want to give you a special night. Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 3: I love you so much, and I know that you're
- 31:44Speaker 3: mad at me, or in my head, I go, she's
- 31:47Speaker 3: not gonna hold my hand or talk to me the
- 31:49Speaker 3: entire weight to the restaurant. It probably won't be until
- 31:52Speaker 3: she gets like the appetizers and two glasses of wine
- 31:55Speaker 3: that she'll even remotely start talking to me. And then
- 31:58Speaker 3: by the end of dinner, when we're getting ice cream,
- 32:01Speaker 3: I won't be like out of the doghouse, but I
- 32:03Speaker 3: will be like, oh, he does love me, and I
- 32:06Speaker 3: do love him, and I forgive him, and now we're
- 32:08Speaker 3: kind of holding hands and kissing and blah blah blah.
- 32:12Speaker 3: But and I'm not looking forward to that of like, hey,
- 32:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna get she don't forgive me, mand like this
- 32:19Speaker 3: is some bullshit. But I'm more so just like I
- 32:21Speaker 3: gotta get to that. Yes, that's the only way that
- 32:24Speaker 3: I can fix it.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I'm naked in front of you physically. I'm gonna be
- 32:27Speaker 2: naked in front of you emotionally right now. I am sorry.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I fucked up. Yeah, Like I'm a piece of shit.

- 33:58Speaker 1: love y'all. Yes, ma'am. Bye. Can I talk to you?
- 34:05Speaker 1: She has no idea about any of this. Can I
- 34:08Speaker 1: talk to you?
- 34:10Speaker 3: What I messed up about what not not? Can I
- 34:21Speaker 3: go ahead and stop you another not celebrating you the
- 34:24Speaker 3: way that you need to be celebrated. And I know
- 34:27Speaker 3: it's not even about the celebration.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I know it's not about the cards and the flowers
- 34:31Speaker 1: and the scarlet. Get this? Or did that? Get that?
- 34:35Speaker 2: Just give me shot, Just give me and your mother
- 34:38Speaker 2: a second. It's about seeing you.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Oh so you don't see me at all around the house.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Am I just your roommate that you don't want to
- 34:52Speaker 3: see around the house? Or am I your wife that
- 34:55Speaker 3: you want to spend the rest of your life with?
- 34:57Speaker 3: Is this about the massage? I tried telling you to
- 34:59Speaker 3: get me Tom and I was gonna book the.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Massage, but you told me that it was going to
- 35:03Speaker 2: be a heavy packing day.
- 35:05Speaker 1: So when you said heavy.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Packing day, I'm thinking, Okay, maybe I don't need to
- 35:08Speaker 2: get anything for you.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Do I just need to treat you like a dumb
- 35:12Speaker 3: ass because I know that you're smarter than this, and
- 35:15Speaker 3: I know your mom raised you better than this.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Do you think for a second that.
- 35:20Speaker 3: You want to have blah blah blah planned out to
- 35:23Speaker 3: the tee?
- 35:24Speaker 1: If it was for blank work, friends, golf, trip.
- 35:30Speaker 3: You realize how much fucking pressure you put on me
- 35:32Speaker 3: every damn day to live up to your expectation. I'm
- 35:35Speaker 3: working my ass off. I go and put try and
- 35:39Speaker 3: put food on the table for you guys. God forbid.
- 35:42Speaker 3: I try to take one day a week to go
- 35:44Speaker 3: hit the golf course. Stole it. I take her today care,
- 35:48Speaker 3: I put her asleep, I rub your feet.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I cut it with you.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I stopped playing video games with the boys because I
- 35:55Speaker 3: love you.
- 35:57Speaker 1: But I'm gonna go out there and shovel a little
- 35:59Speaker 1: bit more.
- 35:59Speaker 3: And if you keep it up, I'm gonna take that
- 36:01Speaker 3: shovel and shoving up your kady ass. You're dead, You're
- 36:05Speaker 3: already in the grave. You might as well go out
- 36:07Speaker 3: there and start digging your own grave. He're six feet
- 36:11Speaker 3: under bro, And she hit me with the You expect
- 36:15Speaker 3: these things out of me as a mother that I
- 36:18Speaker 3: feel like I crush and I do a great job
- 36:21Speaker 3: of And to not be celebrated in that Oh dude,
- 36:24Speaker 3: that literally.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Sweetart, sweetart, sweetheart, I I messed up. I hear you.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I love you.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Please give me the rest of the day, the day
- 36:33Speaker 2: to make this right, because there's some tricks I got
- 36:35Speaker 2: on my sleeve that I just haven't been able to
- 36:37Speaker 2: see yet, and I've did a poor job laying them
- 36:39Speaker 2: out in front of you all. I've messed up step
- 36:40Speaker 2: one and two. But I promise you there's three, four, five,
- 36:42Speaker 2: and six. Offer let me take the rest of the day.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Let me take the rest of the day.

- 36:48Speaker 3: a sandwich picnic.
- 36:51Speaker 1: She loves sandwich. Because right now we're running behind.
- 36:53Speaker 2: There's an outfit I have laying for you on bed
- 36:55Speaker 2: upstairs right now because we're about to go hit a
- 36:56Speaker 2: sandwich and picnic.
- 36:58Speaker 3: I'm not fucking hungry. I'm sick to my stomach from
- 37:02Speaker 3: how this morning went. Verbatim.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Yeah, buddy, this is seven different kinds of smoke.
- 37:09Speaker 3: That bro I could have walked in with. Name that
- 37:14Speaker 3: celebrity she loves, h Morgan Wallen. I could have walked
- 37:19Speaker 3: in with Morgan Wallen and she would have been so
- 37:22Speaker 3: excited to see him, and she'd be like, so you
- 37:24Speaker 3: know this piece of shit, like pointing at me, like.
- 37:27Speaker 1: That's where her head was at.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Even if I like brought in her favorite celebrity, she
- 37:32Speaker 3: was like, and how do you know my piece of
- 37:33Speaker 3: shit husband. You know, you know you're way better than
- 37:37Speaker 3: him right there. It's just like uh, working with your kids.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Lid is flipped. Yeah, there's no fixing the lid. No,
- 37:46Speaker 3: you just gotta take the lashing. Oh yeah, and then
- 37:49Speaker 3: think about how you make it right. I want y'all
- 37:52Speaker 3: to see my backyard. I wish I had taken pictures
- 37:54Speaker 3: of the tree limbs. I was jumping up and grabbing
- 37:59Speaker 3: dead tree branches. I don't even own this house. I'm
- 38:01Speaker 3: a renter, and I'm ripping dead branches off the trees
- 38:05Speaker 3: and throwing them over the fence into like this back
- 38:08Speaker 3: little wooded area.
- 38:10Speaker 1: What's they got to do with getting right? That's what
- 38:12Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Just pissed because I'm trying to get right. I'm trying
- 38:16Speaker 3: to fix it. In the moment, there was no fixing
- 38:19Speaker 3: it in the moment. There was no saying the right
- 38:21Speaker 3: thing to her to make it better. There was no
- 38:24Speaker 3: showing her how much I love her, because the damage
- 38:28Speaker 3: had already been done and she needed time. I needed
- 38:32Speaker 3: time to let her have time.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you more so, Yeah, Sweeter, give me an hour,
- 38:40Speaker 2: you take Scarlet, you get out of the house.
- 38:43Speaker 3: And she would have she would have had a reason
- 38:45Speaker 3: why we couldn't do that. No, because we need to pack.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Since it's so important to pack, we should probably pack.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh god, yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 5: I wasn't sure how the bit between the two of
- 38:56Speaker 5: you being married was gonna end.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I was.
- 38:58Speaker 5: I was curious how that was gonna and that's not
- 39:00Speaker 5: exactly what I foresaw a chef. I don't know if
- 39:02Speaker 5: you did, but.
- 39:02Speaker 1: That I had to just go the director. I thought
- 39:04Speaker 1: you were gonna kiss. I thought you're gonna kiss. I
- 39:06Speaker 1: did too, and I felt it. I felt the energy.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I felt it.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Bro I just didn't have the words that he kept
- 39:12Speaker 2: coming when he could throw more smoke at me. And
- 39:14Speaker 2: I feel like, there's I'm not even making progress in
- 39:16Speaker 2: our conversation. He's not allowing me to make progress in
- 39:19Speaker 2: the conversation.
- 39:19Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, dude, That's what I'm saying.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Like I was doing my best to like hear you
- 39:25Speaker 2: and be apologetic, and when I'm about to take a
- 39:29Speaker 2: step forward, you just shoot me in the leg. Yeah
- 39:33Speaker 2: so then now now, now, now now that has the
- 39:35Speaker 2: lad's got a flip.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Yeah, well, and with my lid flips with my lid
- 39:41Speaker 3: flips because I told you all about that one time
- 39:42Speaker 3: when my lid flip and I'm grabbing Wrigley.
- 39:46Speaker 1: And dog and I'm like, oh fuck, now she thinks
- 39:52Speaker 1: I beat animals. Yeah, And she's like, I want you out.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I want you away from our child.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Oh my god, because when I played by lad like no, like,
- 40:04Speaker 3: nothing good is gonna come out of that.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I just call the cops. Call the cops for yourself.
- 40:09Speaker 3: I would never do anything to elicit the cause he called.
- 40:12Speaker 3: That's a complete joke. But yes, I'm saying, you call
- 40:15Speaker 3: the cops. I'm the one, two, three or four driver lane.
- 40:21Speaker 3: There's a husband losing his mind right now, So we
- 40:22Speaker 3: don't hang up immediately. Immediately, I'm going to jail. You
- 40:25Speaker 3: know what you want the worst for me. I'm fucking
- 40:27Speaker 3: putting myself in jail right now. Nashville, Nashville Metro pay Day.
- 40:31Speaker 3: What's your address?
- 40:33Speaker 1: Uh, I'm at blah blah blah.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Uh.
- 40:36Speaker 3: There's a dumb ass husband that didn't get his wife
- 40:38Speaker 3: mother's a gift and he's a piece of shit and
- 40:40Speaker 3: he's trying to light shit on fire.
- 40:44Speaker 1: We'll have a cop.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Okay, Now we got to cut, Like, how did the
- 40:47Speaker 2: Mother's Day end for you.
- 40:48Speaker 3: It ended great like we It went exactly how I
- 40:51Speaker 3: thought we. I tried to hold her hand in the
- 40:53Speaker 3: uber on the way to dinner.
- 40:55Speaker 1: And she.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I put a hand on the small of her back
- 41:00Speaker 3: as I'm walking into this really nice restaurant, beautiful place,
- 41:03Speaker 3: seventeen ninety nine.
- 41:04Speaker 1: You would love it.
- 41:05Speaker 3: It's a boutique hotel in downtown Franklin. With this awesome
- 41:10Speaker 3: restaurant hand in the middle of her back, she goes,
- 41:13Speaker 3: I'm okay, I can do it, like I know you can't.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Sweete home, be mad all you want.
- 41:19Speaker 2: We got some surprises in here for you.
- 41:23Speaker 3: You just late, buttercut, you gonna be good, and uh,
- 41:27Speaker 3: get to the table. Listen off all the things that
- 41:31Speaker 3: she would love to eat. Nothing's sounding good. She's still
- 41:34Speaker 3: a little sick to her stomach.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Bring out everything? Oh did She's tell him? Bring out everything?
- 41:40Speaker 3: Hey, And we usually don't drink at dinner, And like, did.
- 41:44Speaker 2: You pull the chef aside? Let him know the situation
- 41:46Speaker 2: you're in. I wish and like, look, she's not like
- 41:49Speaker 2: anything she sees on this menu. And I just want
- 41:51Speaker 2: you to know, nobody. I'm in hell right now.
- 41:52Speaker 3: I'm in hell, and like, bring the kitchen sink, here's
- 41:56Speaker 3: my credit card, bring your best entertainers. Go ahead and
- 41:59Speaker 3: just charge a credit card for whatever it's going to
- 42:01Speaker 3: cost that you know I can afford it, and you
- 42:03Speaker 3: just bring it.
- 42:05Speaker 1: You just bring it.
- 42:06Speaker 3: And that's what that's what I should have done. Yeah,
- 42:10Speaker 3: but I was just such inn a like coma cocoon
- 42:14Speaker 3: of my own making. But it turned out great. Dude,
- 42:19Speaker 3: we had great conversations. Sounds like it of like sounds.
- 42:24Speaker 3: We had great conversations at dinner.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Once you got through a couple appetizer and a glass
- 42:29Speaker 1: of wine.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Yeah, well, once the glasses of wine are coming, the
- 42:34Speaker 3: appetizers are coming, and I've already said all of my apologies,
- 42:39Speaker 3: I know that I very much fucked up.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Jill knows that she's gotten her point across.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Jill knows that she has put me in like the
- 42:46Speaker 3: below the doghouse long enough that it's like, okay, well
- 42:49Speaker 3: let him out of the doghouse because I do love
- 42:51Speaker 3: my husband and I want to enjoy this night. And
- 42:54Speaker 3: this is very sweet. They took me to this nice restaurant.
- 42:57Speaker 3: He does love me.
- 42:58Speaker 1: He got me.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Flowers like you know, But enjoy the night. And so
- 43:07Speaker 3: we had a good Honestly, it was a really great dinner.
- 43:09Speaker 3: And then we held hands and walked through like downtown
- 43:11Speaker 3: Franklin and walked over to this ice cream spot. I
- 43:16Speaker 3: have this new the uber black driver. He's rushing and
- 43:19Speaker 3: he like has his own little private driving thing.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Gave me his business card. I felt like a movie star.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Was kind of sick.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I like called him when we were at the ice
- 43:27Speaker 3: cream shop later because he was like, you text me,
- 43:30Speaker 3: I'm twenty minutes away every time, text me any day
- 43:34Speaker 3: twenty four to seven. I was like, all right, and
- 43:36Speaker 3: so I texted him at the ice cream shop and
- 43:39Speaker 3: he literally replied back, twenty five out be there soon
- 43:44Speaker 3: had waters. He's opening the doors for me and Jill.
- 43:47Speaker 3: She's loving it. We had a good night. Hey Sherman,
- 43:53Speaker 3: did you hit the shockwave? No chance, not a fucking chance.
- 43:58Speaker 3: That's okay, Will, How was Bontaire?
- 44:01Speaker 1: How was the Wednox? Buddy? Bontare good Earth, good people.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Let me let me start.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Scotty got handfoot mouth.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Is taken down Nashville, Tennessee right now. And on Thursday.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I was up all night that night because Scotty was
- 44:23Speaker 2: struggling to go to sleep.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Fighting.
- 44:27Speaker 2: The disease is it hand mouth foot or handfoot one
- 44:30Speaker 2: of them hand foot mouth, handfoot mouth and uh So,
- 44:34Speaker 2: before we left on Friday to drive to Missouri, I'm
- 44:37Speaker 2: up essentially all night, like the mostly, but I got
- 44:39Speaker 2: I probably got a collective three in between three and
- 44:42Speaker 2: four hours, like an hour at a time, because Scotty
- 44:45Speaker 2: wouldn't go down, and then brought her downstairs, brought her
- 44:50Speaker 2: to our room, and realizing she wasn't going to sleep
- 44:53Speaker 2: even in our bed, I just went ahead and took
- 44:55Speaker 2: it like, sweetheart, look, I'm gonna just go in the
- 44:57Speaker 2: guest room.
- 44:58Speaker 1: You get some sleep. I'm just gonna I'll just.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Take her with me and see if she sleeps on me.
- 45:03Speaker 2: She didn't sleep the entire night. Maybe she didn't when
- 45:06Speaker 2: I fell asleep for that hour at a time, like
- 45:08Speaker 2: when i'd get her calm, or maybe she just laid there.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I have no idea, but i'd be waking up within
- 45:12Speaker 2: an hour to her being upset. So I'm up all
- 45:15Speaker 2: night Thursday, and then on Friday, had to do a
- 45:19Speaker 2: couple of things, had to get you know, I ordered
- 45:22Speaker 2: mom flowers for Mother's Day, so I had to kind
- 45:24Speaker 2: of finagle getting the flowers in the house and going
- 45:26Speaker 2: to hide them at a pocket in the house while
- 45:28Speaker 2: we're packing and getting everything ready to leave for Missouri
- 45:30Speaker 2: and have so that way they could be there sitting
- 45:32Speaker 2: on Sunday. The boy Mitch, he watched the house dogs
- 45:35Speaker 2: sitting and stuff all weekend and Mitch knew, Hey, have
- 45:38Speaker 2: the flowers placed like on the island for when we
- 45:40Speaker 2: get back on Sunday. I had to go pick up
- 45:43Speaker 2: my men's warehouse rental do all that stuff on Friday
- 45:46Speaker 2: morning before we took off for the drive to Missouri.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, you're in the wedding. I'm in the wedding. Yeah,
- 45:53Speaker 1: the penguin, I'm in the wedding.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Ruse a flower girl. Charles participating, being like the assistant
- 45:58Speaker 2: to the flower girl, helping her out. Like we're the
- 46:00Speaker 2: family's in, Like this is a family wedding. My brother's
- 46:02Speaker 2: getting married. It's it's been a wedding we've been waiting
- 46:06Speaker 2: on for what ten years with the with Cody and Kalyn.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Shout out Cody and Caitlin, I love you both very dearly.
- 46:12Speaker 2: They've already Kaitlyn has been family for years. But the
- 46:15Speaker 2: wedding's finally happen. It's taking place Bonta, Missouri or Blackwell
- 46:19Speaker 2: is where the wedding was. And so we set off
- 46:24Speaker 2: for our adventure going traveling to Bonta, Missouri.
- 46:28Speaker 1: And we already know that it could be an.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Issue with Scottie because she's it, she's getting over a
- 46:33Speaker 2: hand foot mouth, all that stuff, and bro. The drive
- 46:38Speaker 2: is a five hour drive, and I'm talking the drive
- 46:41Speaker 2: to Missouri is nothing. But you know country back roads,
- 46:46Speaker 2: you know adult video superstores, you know gun shops, busted
- 46:53Speaker 2: down little towns and stuff on the route there.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I mean, Cairo, Illinois is insane. The drive through.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Loves gas stations, oh yeah, shitty ones too, Trucker gas station, yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 3: Manas station, yeah yeah.
- 47:09Speaker 1: But in subways, there's always a subway.
- 47:13Speaker 2: You want to find some some average subways along the way.
- 47:19Speaker 1: You drive to Missouri from Nashville.
- 47:22Speaker 2: You go see about forty of them. And out of
- 47:24Speaker 2: the five hours, I want to say, Scottie screamed crying
- 47:28Speaker 2: for about two and a half to three Good. Great,
- 47:33Speaker 2: that's good. And Rue was so used to it that
- 47:36Speaker 2: Rue was able to fall asleep and take a nap
- 47:38Speaker 2: while Scottie screaming.
- 47:40Speaker 1: That's good.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Rue's report card on traveling a plus.
- 47:44Speaker 1: In Flower Girl report card, she crushed. That depends depends
- 47:50Speaker 1: on crush.
- 47:51Speaker 2: She cried, that's but she was brave enough to walk
- 47:54Speaker 2: down the aisle h and where there's some Everybody loved it,
- 47:59Speaker 2: but disapointed herself because she cried. So in Rue's world,
- 48:03Speaker 2: and Ru has dialed the entire time, like rehearsal the
- 48:05Speaker 2: day before, you know, pretending she's grabbing flowers, no smile
- 48:09Speaker 2: on her face, focused, this little boy was around her.
- 48:11Speaker 2: She wasn't messing with this little boy, like, look, I
- 48:13Speaker 2: got the flowers. I'll handle this. You just try to
- 48:16Speaker 2: keep up and stay in line, stop running off the path.
- 48:19Speaker 2: And I'm like, ooh, squirrel. Like Rue's just dialed in,
- 48:21Speaker 2: locked in stoic face. But the moment it came, She's like,
- 48:24Speaker 2: I can't do it. I can't do And she's like
- 48:26Speaker 2: crying like sweetheart, and I'm standing down at the end
- 48:28Speaker 2: of the aisle waiting, sweeter. You can do it, Rue.
- 48:31Speaker 2: She's crying, but she does the flowers. She gets all
- 48:33Speaker 2: the way to me. I'm like, hey, there's mama, go
- 48:35Speaker 2: walk to her. It was great love. The experience of
- 48:38Speaker 2: Ruby being a flower girl, but Rue her patients. Traveling
- 48:43Speaker 2: in this car with the screaming child of scott Zilla
- 48:47Speaker 2: a plus, you could tell Rue was worn down by
- 48:50Speaker 2: all the crying and just wanted to hear the music
- 48:52Speaker 2: and hear the We'll put on a little kid's podcast
- 48:54Speaker 2: for her that she can listen to stories, and so
- 48:57Speaker 2: that was bothering her, and she knew like she doesn't
- 48:59Speaker 2: she doesn't want to pie lawn. So she's kind of
- 49:01Speaker 2: sitting there with like a sad face that Scotty's just
- 49:03Speaker 2: screaming the whole time. Scotty, we just couldn't get figured out,
- 49:06Speaker 2: bro and we just had to just eat it. So
- 49:09Speaker 2: going there, driving to Missouri, it was a shit show.
- 49:14Speaker 2: We had the rehearsal, we got there, we have an
- 49:16Speaker 2: hour to spare so to get to our airbnb, kind
- 49:18Speaker 2: of get ready, get out to the rehearsal, to all stuff.
- 49:21Speaker 2: At the rehearsal, knowing that Scotty's not she's not doing well,
- 49:23Speaker 2: We're gonna have to leave early to get her down
- 49:25Speaker 2: for bedtime. We're trying to catch up with people because
- 49:27Speaker 2: we're back home. I'm seeing a lot of people haven't
- 49:29Speaker 2: got to catch up with in a while. More people
- 49:31Speaker 2: have you know, sporadically spoken to, But now you get
- 49:34Speaker 2: to catch up for real. Scotty didn't sleep well. Well,
- 49:38Speaker 2: she slept throughout the weekend, but she had to be
- 49:40Speaker 2: on us sleeping thought the week We couldn't put her in
- 49:42Speaker 2: the pack and play the minute she'd be knocked out.
- 49:44Speaker 2: You put her down in the pack and play the
- 49:46Speaker 2: minute she touched the back and play she's awake. Be like, no,
- 49:48Speaker 2: this is bullshit standing up. You need to be on
- 49:51Speaker 2: somebody's body. So just abysmal.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Feel you on the pack and place.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, just abysmal with Scotty. Wasn't Scotty's best performance.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Did a phenomenal job. The wedding was all time great
- 50:05Speaker 2: small town Missouri wedding. The finger foods were bowls filled
- 50:08Speaker 2: with eminem, cinnamon, toast, crunts, and checks. Your essentials at
- 50:14Speaker 2: a small tell Missouri wedding chicken, brisket, salad, green bees,
- 50:19Speaker 2: green beans.
- 50:19Speaker 1: And mashtators. Come on, that's about it self. Serve serve yourself. Water.
- 50:24Speaker 2: You had to get out of a faucet because there's
- 50:25Speaker 2: no just water serving. It's just all alcohol and beer.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Did they have the guy smoking the meats? And stuff like.
- 50:31Speaker 2: It was all catered in just buffet style. Go up
- 50:34Speaker 2: and get your plate. I mean it's it's what you
- 50:36Speaker 2: want to see out of a small tell Missouri wedding,
- 50:38Speaker 2: fun being had, dancing happening.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Kids were awesome at the wedding. You just tell. I
- 50:45Speaker 1: could you tell Charlie was running on.
- 50:46Speaker 2: E because Charro didn't have like for me, I'm in
- 50:50Speaker 2: the wedding, so I would have to participate in rehearsal.
- 50:52Speaker 2: I would have to be there hours early to do photos,
- 50:55Speaker 2: get dressed, all the stuff with the groom and the
- 50:57Speaker 2: wedding party. Yes, the day of the wedding, and Charles's
- 51:01Speaker 2: just in it because Scotty's clinging to Mom doesn't want anybody.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Else to mess with her.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Watcher Like, Charles's parents got invited to the wedding, so
- 51:08Speaker 2: they were there as well, but they don't want lo leno,
- 51:11Speaker 2: but they want to be held by Mom at all times.
- 51:13Speaker 2: So I can just tell my wife is running on
- 51:14Speaker 2: E because she's not having she's having zero minutes to herself.
- 51:19Speaker 3: And for new listeners, Scotti has been on a mom
- 51:23Speaker 3: kick for like a month now.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, Scotty's been on a mom kick for a month,
- 51:28Speaker 2: but her her having the handfoot of mouth and just
- 51:31Speaker 2: being cleaning towards Mom.
- 51:32Speaker 1: It's like times one hundred. Yeah, has to be mom.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Yeah, And knowing that Charle has to get the kids ready,
- 51:37Speaker 2: get them in the car or transfer them there, get
- 51:39Speaker 2: them out of the car, make sure everything's packed, make
- 51:41Speaker 2: sure everything's ready to go when they're at rehearsal. Will Meanwhile,
- 51:43Speaker 2: while I'm in around the wedding party, I'm not being able.
- 51:46Speaker 2: I'm not able to like help at all times because
- 51:49Speaker 2: I know what they need and all the things, but
- 51:51Speaker 2: nobody else does, like they know that they can help
- 51:53Speaker 2: out or try to help out, but the minute you
- 51:55Speaker 2: try to give Scotty or do something else, she's screaming to.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Get back to Mom. Yeah.
- 51:58Speaker 2: So I could tell Mom was on e in then,
- 52:00Speaker 2: and the wedding was the rehearsal dinner and everything else
- 52:02Speaker 2: was kind of like not long, but just going into
- 52:05Speaker 2: the hours of it is bedtime, so the kids got
- 52:07Speaker 2: to get back and go to bed, especially Scotty. You
- 52:09Speaker 2: want to get her down, like she's just not cooperating.
- 52:12Speaker 2: So I'm getting the dad guilt of like, you know,
- 52:14Speaker 2: I'm like cutting her plate, cutting her food, getting that
- 52:16Speaker 2: all said up. My wife feeling like I'm not able
- 52:19Speaker 2: to be a teammate the whole time. But she's doing
- 52:22Speaker 2: that to me because she's feeling like she just haven't
- 52:24Speaker 2: she just has not had a minute to herself. So
- 52:27Speaker 2: I'm like, do I go home? Do I need to
- 52:29Speaker 2: go home? It sucks to kind of just leave it.
- 52:31Speaker 2: I'm not telling anybody by You're in the middle of
- 52:34Speaker 2: a couple of conversations in the wedding, so just dad wise,
- 52:37Speaker 2: dad mode.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I'm all over the place and knowing that tomorrow is
- 52:42Speaker 1: Mother's Day.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Yeah, we're in Missouri on Mother's Day weekend. And I
- 52:47Speaker 2: know how Charlie like value. She loves to do a picnic.
- 52:50Speaker 2: She loves to do things like with the family and
- 52:52Speaker 2: then also have some free time on herself. And I know,
- 52:54Speaker 2: like Dan, we're driving back from Missouri back to Nashville
- 52:57Speaker 2: tomorrow on Mother's Day, Like, I don't really have much
- 53:00Speaker 2: lined up because we've been in Missouri and we're traveling
- 53:04Speaker 2: back outside of the flowers, so we're driving back to Missouri.
- 53:08Speaker 2: It was, for the most part, is a clean ride
- 53:10Speaker 2: back to Missouri. A couple hiccups with Scotty or the
- 53:12Speaker 2: kids wanted to get out, but we handled that all right.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Treated my wife to a.
- 53:16Speaker 2: High cuisine McDonald's breakfast to kick off our road trip
- 53:20Speaker 2: back to Nashville.
- 53:21Speaker 1: For Mother's Day. Then along the way.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Sweet I'll take you to a rest stop. We'll stop
- 53:26Speaker 2: at a rest stop, will stretch our legs, we'll go
- 53:27Speaker 2: see some trees. We'll see what the rest area has
- 53:30Speaker 2: in store to celebrate you on Mother's Day. So we
- 53:33Speaker 2: stopped at a rest station. Then we get home, and
- 53:36Speaker 2: I know, getting home, it's fucking go time, Like Dad,
- 53:40Speaker 2: you got to lock in. Yeah, it's Mother's Day. It's
- 53:42Speaker 2: time to lock in.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Walk in. Flowers are there.
- 53:46Speaker 2: She's fired up, and I just immediately go into unpacked mode.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Like usually my wife will unpack all the kids stuff
- 53:52Speaker 2: and get them in the right spots that they need.
- 53:53Speaker 2: But I'm like, I can figure this out. I know
- 53:55Speaker 2: some spots that need to that these things need to go.
- 53:58Speaker 2: So I just take the suitcases upstairs unpack everything.
- 54:01Speaker 6: Well.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Mom helps with like, you know, unpacking the backpack and
- 54:03Speaker 2: things like that. Downstairs, she starts to clean out all
- 54:06Speaker 2: the things that we brought to Missouri for the kids
- 54:08Speaker 2: to wash them out.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Sweetheart, no, go go do whatever you want to do.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I'll wash this stuff. And she's like, dude, I can.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I'm like, sweetheart, it's Mother's Day. Like let me.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I know I have some ground not to like make up,
- 54:17Speaker 2: like it's an expectation, but I'm thinking I got to
- 54:20Speaker 2: do something that celebrates her and appreciates her and all
- 54:24Speaker 2: this stuff. Because we've just been in hell the last
- 54:26Speaker 2: few days. Yeah, and so she's chilling and then I'm like, hey,
- 54:33Speaker 2: I would love that. I would have loved if I
- 54:36Speaker 2: had dinner plans set up. I don't would you be
- 54:39Speaker 2: opposed to getting Mexican food. The spot we love to
- 54:45Speaker 2: go to is Fonda on twelfth, great Mexican cuisine, like awesome.
- 54:50Speaker 2: She loves it, like we all love it. I'll order
- 54:52Speaker 2: it to go pick up, I'll take the kids, get
- 54:54Speaker 2: him out of the house. You are free to do
- 54:56Speaker 2: whatever you want. I'll take him to Fonda on twelfth,
- 54:59Speaker 2: pick up all of our food. And then so she
- 55:02Speaker 2: thinks that's all I'm doing. So I get the kids
- 55:04Speaker 2: out of the house, both of them. They were solid
- 55:06Speaker 2: on the drive over there, because again we've just been
- 55:07Speaker 2: in the car all day long. Pick up the food
- 55:10Speaker 2: and now I take them to Target because I'm like,
- 55:12Speaker 2: what is something that we can do? Because I know
- 55:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna do double bedtime tonight. I'm gonna try to
- 55:17Speaker 2: give mom more time to herself. We go to Target.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Pick up some like bath bombs, some organic bath bombs.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Pick up a card. I know Charle loves like written cards.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Get a card, allow the kids to participate in. Pick
- 55:28Speaker 2: in the car, which one do you think we should
- 55:30Speaker 2: get from mom? And Ru's like, let's get to one
- 55:31Speaker 2: with the puzzle piece, the missing puzzle piece in the home.
- 55:34Speaker 2: It's like this puzzle of a home and the missing
- 55:38Speaker 2: piece is a heart in the middle.
- 55:39Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, that's a great, great pick. We're at there. Rue,
- 55:43Speaker 1: reel's on it. We picked that.
- 55:45Speaker 2: I get in the truck. I will fill out one
- 55:47Speaker 2: side of the card. I'm like, right now, I'm a
- 55:48Speaker 2: waxing poetic. Then I have Rue when we get back
- 55:52Speaker 2: to the house, get her out on the weight bench
- 55:53Speaker 2: in the garage.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Hey, Rue, let's write.
- 55:56Speaker 2: She does like I like I love you, Mama like
- 55:59Speaker 2: writing it like the and then she puts Rue in
- 56:01Speaker 2: Scotty's name. Scotty's just playing over in the bubble area
- 56:04Speaker 2: where there's like a bubble machine before we go inside.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Because I'm gonna get this card right, We're gonna have
- 56:09Speaker 2: the bath bombs. Yep, we got the food. We're gonna
- 56:12Speaker 2: walk in. I'm gonna have Scotty walk in with the card.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Give Mama the card. She gives Mama the card. She's happy,
- 56:17Speaker 2: she's excited. She was just thankful that the kids were
- 56:19Speaker 2: out of the house. We were gone for an hour.
- 56:21Speaker 2: She's like, I sat on the couch and read my book,
- 56:23Speaker 2: and she was like, I'm feeling, like Re said, just
- 56:26Speaker 2: being home. It's so nice being home. And I'm like
- 56:27Speaker 2: fired up. We're gonna get you an entire spread. Ruth's
- 56:29Speaker 2: gonna set the table. We're gonna knock this thing into
- 56:31Speaker 2: the park. We have dinner time. Rue and I spoke
- 56:33Speaker 2: about a mission on the car right over, like, hey, sweetheart,
- 56:36Speaker 2: Dad is doing bedtime tonight with both of you. What
- 56:39Speaker 2: we need to do when we get home. I want
- 56:41Speaker 2: you to help me. I want you to be my teammate.
- 56:42Speaker 2: You help me fill up a hot bath, because Mama
- 56:44Speaker 2: she never takes baths. We're gonna fill up a hot bath.
- 56:48Speaker 2: We're gonna do bubbles. We'll use your bubbles from upstairs
- 56:51Speaker 2: to get a bubble bath going. We'll drop some of
- 56:53Speaker 2: the bath bombs that we bought a target in there,
- 56:55Speaker 2: get some candles.
- 56:57Speaker 1: We lit a candle. Ru helped light a candle.
- 56:59Speaker 2: We're gonna get her kindles sitting there so she can read,
- 57:01Speaker 2: and we're gonna close the doors, and we're not gonna
- 57:03Speaker 2: bother mama.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Well, dad, it does bedtime.
- 57:05Speaker 2: And guess what, sweetheart, while I do Scotty's bedtime, you'll
- 57:08Speaker 2: get to watch tumble if you'll get to watch some
- 57:10Speaker 2: TV while I'm doing Scotty's bedtime. But you can't go
- 57:13Speaker 2: into mama's bathroom. Like We're gonna give mama all the
- 57:15Speaker 2: space in the world because she does stuff for us
- 57:17Speaker 2: every day all the time. Mama just needs to day.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Mama needs time because it's Mother's Day and we want
- 57:22Speaker 2: to celebrate her. Yes, so I knock out Scotty. Scotty,
- 57:25Speaker 2: put her down in the crib. She sleeps through the night.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Holly fucking Loujah, Come on, go down. Rue's watching TV.
- 57:33Speaker 2: She's already in her pajamas. We go upstairs, we do bedtime.
- 57:37Speaker 2: She doesn't need to hug Kis three squeezes from Mama,
- 57:39Speaker 2: like she doesn't have like a breakdown, like I need
- 57:40Speaker 2: to see Mama needs to tell me good night.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Rue goes asleep. She big girl.
- 57:44Speaker 2: She big girl, and Mama just had an evening in
- 57:49Speaker 2: the bathtub. And I feel like I just not saved
- 57:52Speaker 2: the day because I don't know if she was expecting anything,
- 57:56Speaker 2: but I'm just like, I know she loves a good card.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I know she just got free time, like space to
- 58:02Speaker 2: do whatever she wanted after again being NonStop with the
- 58:06Speaker 2: kiddos the car rides to ten hours of car driving
- 58:10Speaker 2: from Missouri and back. I just need to do something
- 58:14Speaker 2: that's like we're not wasting this because then part of
- 58:17Speaker 2: me was like should I wait until Monday or should
- 58:19Speaker 2: maybe I can do it the next Sunday and just
- 58:20Speaker 2: be like, Oh, it's my it's we're gonna treat it.
- 58:23Speaker 1: As a mother's day. I have no clue.
- 58:24Speaker 2: I was just kind of going going flying by the
- 58:27Speaker 2: seat of my pants, trying to figure it out.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Can I do my lesson of the week. And this
- 58:32Speaker 3: is more of a question for you guys too, Can
- 58:34Speaker 3: I do my lesson of the week right now? Because
- 58:37Speaker 3: it's literally what Will just said. I feel like it'd
- 58:39Speaker 3: be a nice little bow on this whole thing and
- 58:42Speaker 3: then we can like end the show with collins and emails.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we're under an hour right now. We
- 58:47Speaker 1: are under an hour, under an hour right there? An hour,
- 58:50Speaker 1: but dude, drop the lesson. Okay.
- 58:52Speaker 3: This comes from General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower. This
- 58:58Speaker 3: is a quote that was very often quoted by college
- 59:02Speaker 3: football legend and hopefully should be future Hall of Famer
- 59:06Speaker 3: coach Mike Leech would quote this all the time to
- 59:10Speaker 3: his team. Plans are worthless, but planning is everything. And
- 59:15Speaker 3: essentially what that means is, don't get too attached to
- 59:19Speaker 3: what is expected of that day. Don't get too attached
- 59:24Speaker 3: to this is how it's gonna go. Will had a
- 59:27Speaker 3: ton of curveballs being thrown at him, really a ton
- 59:31Speaker 3: of excuses to where he could have phoned it in
- 59:35Speaker 3: or have not done anything.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Safe to know.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair because as we before we go to target,
- 59:43Speaker 2: like I don't have like you know what I got
- 59:45Speaker 2: flowers and they're prepared, but you can like write a
- 59:47Speaker 2: little car because they put a card in there. But
- 59:49Speaker 2: it was just like happy Mother's Day, sweetheart, we love
- 59:51Speaker 2: you so much.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Yes, and you did that out your own volition. She's
- 59:54Speaker 3: on your back going ding ding ding ding ding? K Will, hey, Will,
- 59:57Speaker 3: where's my r? I don't think she would have beat
- 59:59Speaker 3: me up about it.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I just I know I know my wife to
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: where I'm like she would still even though I'm doing this,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: I'm running a two minute drill at the end of
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: the day, like, I know she would appreciate this.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: And it's like I in my situation, I know my wife,
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: but for some reason, I just took everything that I
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: know how to my wife and just dropped it and said, oh, yeah,
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: we're packing all day. So yeah, like we'll just pack
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: all day and I'll take her to dinner. So don't
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: get attached to the exact blueprint. Be prepared enough that
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: you can adjust when reality punches holes in the day.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: In the situation, it applies to business relationships, mother's day, parenting,
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: being a good husband, whatever you want to apply to.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: The goal isn't predicting the future perfectly. The goal is
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: being ready when the future doesn't go according to plan.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I love that lesson.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: That's my lesson, and that's a great as you're saying that,
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: I'm thinking to myself for any parents or soon to
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: be parents. I know when we were what's up, Ryan,
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: got the coffee, got the third coffee, going third step
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: and thank you Ryan. But to that like parents soon
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: to be uh, if you're having a child for the
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: first time, like I know Charles. As far as preparation
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: and planning, char and I had a full, like uh list,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: a plan going into whether it be natural birth, not
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: wanting to do injections or what's the what's the injection
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: that you get for pain, epidural epidural try trying to
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: do full natural birth, trying not want it this way,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: not having to do like Charlie ended up having to
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: get a sea section because she was laboring for over
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: forty hours and it just wasn't it wasn't it wasn't
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: moving at all, and so we had a full plan,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: but going into it, we did our best to not
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: like attach ourselves to that because if you do, obviously
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: it's like you know, expectation is planning a seat for disappointment.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: You just kind of go sideways about things. So I
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: feel like that's a great lesson outside of Mother's Day
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: for even if you're as soon to be parent and
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: you have like a birth plan or anything in your world.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Like you are, you do have a plan.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: You wanted to go according to plan, but if not,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: just be prepared for shit to hit the fan.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: We're going to homeschool, We're going to private school. We're
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: going to public school. We're gonna do this. They're gonna
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: take piano lessons, They're gonna like anything.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Like because we have like us as parents, we have
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: ideas of what we want to get our kids into
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: or how we're gonna be in the future. But we
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: do our best to also like interrogate our thinking along
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: the way, because there could be a new idea that changes,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: that shifts what we feel is our opinion. If somebody
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: gives us like new information.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Two years into piano lessons, I told mom I hate this,
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: and Mom said, well, you're learning an instrument, so tell
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: me an instrument that you would want to play.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I said, drum.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: She said great, Yeah, I'm signing up for drum lessons
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: next week.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: So I shouldn't do Project Tiger Woods. What's Projects Woods
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: turning my kid into the next Tiger Woods?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: You can you can think about wanting to do that,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: but you also got to hope that he cultivates the
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: love of what you're trying to do the same as you.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Great point. How do I convince we gotta we gotta
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: start planning.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Now they're they're their own human and in that case
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: that wants to play golf.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Trust me, there's a way, Yeah I will. Both Ruins
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: got it to be athletes. I think they got it
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: in them. I'm going to, you know, cultivate games anytime
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: we have something to see like what their competitive nature is.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Like.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Rue wants to race the car all the time, and
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: if I beat her, she wants to go back and
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: continue to race until she beats me.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: And she thinks of it in a way.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: When I beat her like two times in a row,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: she's like, you gotta start right here, And as I
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: walk there, she takes off before I can get there.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: So in my head, I'm like, she's got competitive juices.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: I need to continue to just have fun with her.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: So hopefully she's gonna want to do sports that I
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: would love to see her play. But and I might
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: not like push her but guide her towards those sports
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: and she just doesn't like them. I gotta know that
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: she just doesn't like these. But then I got to
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: decide does she not like them because she doesn't want
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: to go to practice right now, or does she not
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: like them because when I'm watching her on the field,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: she just doesn't seem interested whatsoever. And the minute she
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: gets done, she's talking about something else or wants to
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: do something else. And then I have to, as a dad,
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: gotta just You're just gonna have to have the instinct of,
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: okay this. It seems like she's just not gonna be
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: into this, whether I want her to or not. I
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: would love for her too, but I can't force it
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: because the more I force it, the more she's gonna
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: she's gonna push away from it.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: That's a fair point.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: I just think I gotta do things that cultivate competition,
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: fun and games.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: And then if it's like, dude, it seems like she's.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Gonna want to be a competitor, but she loves she
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: also loves ballet right now, It's not like I want
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: to go to recitals for the rest of my life,
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like when I'm in high
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: school and hear my boys who have a girlfriend that
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: have a dancer side on, and they gotta go a
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: week ads, I'm thinking that fucking sucks.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: No, I mean at the end of the day, of course,
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: my kid will be able to He will be able
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: to play whatever sport he or she wants.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: It'll just be heavily encouraged, because god, that'd be so sick.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it would be no, No, I am joking,
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: like in all seriousness, my parents are really big on like,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: you play with her sport you want, I'll do the same.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Like if I end up having project, of course, I
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: would want him to love to play football.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: But Eli Manning's kid's playing hockey right now. Yeah, because his.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Older sister is playing hockey and he wants to be
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: like his older sister.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: And it's like like with female flag football taking off.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I would love for my girls to love flag football.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Oh no, yeah, I just won't know until like that
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: time comes. I'll be hopeful because I think that ship rips.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: But yeah, put on the TV every now and then. Yeah,
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: oh that looks cool.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: What's up? What is this? Yeah? Hey, do you know
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: how much getting him to say touchdown?
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: It's like it's all I'm trying to create the experiences
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: like all loving football and sing football. Yeah, hope, they
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: love and see it the same way I do, and
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: not I want to go to games with their old man.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Not to segue, but to finish the topic. Lesson of
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: the week of preparing could be a fun little social
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: clip slash some game for dads who have for future
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: dads who their wives are currently pregnant. This Mother's Day,
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: so next calendar Mother's Day, they will officially be mother's
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: it will be their first Mother's Day. I put together
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: just a list of things that I would get for
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: the wife, and then you can add whatever else comes
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: to mind as well. I'm ready to go, okay, because
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: this is like some your next one game. Your next
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: one's the better one, Your next one's bigger one. Oh dude,
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: for okay, So for first Mother's Day, I would say
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: artwork from the baby, whether you're dipping the feet and
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: paint or the hands in paint. Whatever written, got to
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: do the paint. That's a good one, dude. Card written
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: in flowers, get her favorite. Guess who didn't get Jill's
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: favorite and got twulps this fucking guy. Balloon, Live and learn,
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Live and learn. Balloon balloons are always fun. That's an
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: easy one, dude. Dollar general party city.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: People want her to get balloons.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Yeah, certificate printed out, certificate officially a mom. They're all
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: over the internet. Easy to print out. Put it in
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: a frame, framed photo of baby dinner at the end
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: of the night. That's my list. Do you want to
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: add anything to it?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: If your child can walk? What I did for our
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: first Mother's days. I got up early in the morning,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: made breakfast, like the whole breakfast and bed thing, yep,
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: but I got Rue out of bed, got her set
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: up because she could walk and find mama and do
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: all this stuff. And I would like point like, I
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: have a video that I ended up putting on social
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: We can run the video too. But Rue was I
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: forget how old she was? Was January Ferruard of March April.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: May Rue was like thirteen months old. And I had
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Rue walk in with the with the card in bed
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: while mom was still in bed to get up and
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: give her a card.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: And Mom loved it.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: What I feel like And this could just be my
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: wife because obviously male female were completely different species.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Yes, like dads will be like I just.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Want to have the day to be left alone and
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: not do anything like let me just veg out, let
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: me go to a movie theater by myself. Let me
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: do something where it's like we're just in our own world. Yeah,
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Mom's I like. My wife loves to do something as
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: a family. So she loves the picnic, the annual Mother's
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Day picnic. So we did that for three years. We
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: didn't do it this year, but doing something with the family.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: And then also as I'm learning, like learning from just
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: this past one when I was trying to figure out
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: in that two minute drill after coming back from Missouri,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: giving him that free time and space to get the
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: kids out of the house or do whatever it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Is that would that mom would feel pampered. My wife
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: loves to read.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: She's giving her time solo at the house to where
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: she can grab her kindle or pick up a book
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: and read. She loves that. Draw my hot bath. Tell
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: them that you're gonna be doing bedtime, something that gives
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: them space to where Mom is not needed for anything.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Dad is gonna handle it, even the kids that want
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: to cling to her. We're gonna let Mama have her
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: own space. So I'll just say setting up to where
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: the kids can embrace her in the morning with flowers
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: in a card. Have a family activity that Mama would love.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Mars would be picnic. It sounds like Jill loves picnics.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: To redo something together, and then a couple hour window
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: where it's like Mama feels like she can just she
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: doesn't have to think about what's on her mind. She
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: doesn't think about what the kids need within the next hour.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: She doesn't have to think about changing a diaper, she
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: doesn't have to think about the kid running to.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Her needing help. She could just be her own person
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: for a couple hours and.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: In truth for the Dad's podcast fashion, I love that
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: this lesson's coming after Mother's Day. Yeah, it's not coming
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: before Mother's Day. Yeah, perfect timing from some dads.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: It shows just about failing along the way, bro, figuring
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: it out because we're all in this together.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Bro, Yeah, we're all in this together. We have some
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: ride ends. And I'll tell you this too. Go ahead.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Any moms or females out there that tell you like
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Mother's Day is not a big deal, or they don't
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: care to be pampered or celebrated or this that the other,
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: there might be a little bit of truth to that,
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: but you're not going to tell me that there's a
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: human being that doesn't enjoy feeling like the person that
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: they love most is intentionally trying to cater to them
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: and celebrate them for a day.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Doesn't have doesn't. I'm not saying you have to.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Like if somebody that doesn't like surprise parties on their birthday,
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: it's not like they need some massive party or massive celebration,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: but something to know, like, I see all the work
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: that you've done, and I want to.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Treat you as well as I possibly can today.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: And do you know what, You might not care to
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: go to dinner, but damn it, dude, dress up and
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna court dress around and I'm gonna show you
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: off and I'm.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Gonna take you to dinner. Yeah, you can't tell me that.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Mommy ain't gonna love that.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Almost take it as a challenge, not to like prove
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: a point or anything like that, but more so of like,
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: oh okay, yeah, than we won't You know that sounds great? Honey,
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: door closes and you're playing in something great? Yeah, playing
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: something great? Because even when.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Mom's run her friends or they catch up on hey,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: how was mother's there? How was this? How was that?
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: They also want to brag on their husband.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, because they're all when she's going to work
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: at the hospital.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: I'm sure all the nurses. What do you do for
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: mother's name? It was your first line blah blah blah.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: And Jill's one lagging me off the huck and it's
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: only talking about how great dinner was. Yeah, and I
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: got her flowers and.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Blah blah blah. I love you Annie. I don't know
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: if I said that. Did I say that earlier? Dig Listen,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: you have to say it. Oh, I love you Jill.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: We know you love Jilly Bean. I love Jilly Bean.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Dee loves Jilly Bean. Thank you? What, chef?
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Love?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Do you love Jill? I thought you were going to
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: lean into the mic and be like, I love Jilly
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Bean too, I do? Do you love Jilly Bean? I
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: do like like Deeke.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Didn't know I was gonna do the the domino effect
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: of all of us saying it, So I said, Deeke
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: loves Jilly.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Just here's where you slight hesitation Jilly Bean. But chef,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: do you want to say anything anything off your chest,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: anything that sticks out in particular about Jill that you
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: want to discuss?
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: How about how kind she is to everyone? She meets
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: at the baby shower. She came up so sweet had
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: Scarlet there. She let me hold Scarlet.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Bro they had a moment.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: Did you put the images up last pot of you
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: and Scarlet?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I didn't. The mother the Mother's Day was we had
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: to get that one. Awesome. I'd give Jilly Bean to
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: talk to you, talking to for beating you down like that.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I deserved every bit of it. You deserve it. But
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: all so she knows too, like.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: You're doing your best, I know, but like I'm doing
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: my best, Like my wife was beating me up for
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: like the wedding stuff. And I'm in my head thinking, Sweetheart,
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: I'm like I was trying. I'm literally doing everything I can't,
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: like what do you want me to do? And I'm
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: also thinking on my head, dude, it's fucking Mother's Day weekend.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: We've had Scott, he's been sick, like she's been dealing
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: with all of the chaos. So I know it's like
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: she means what she's saying, but she's also like she's
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: just venting because she's had a tough She's had a
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: tough couple forty eight hours. So I kind of just
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: like lay there and take it a little bit. She
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: probably sees as me suppressing my emotions or feelings, but
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: I'm just trying to gather as much intel as i
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: can sol I don't like flip my lid or let
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: her have her moment.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: Do you know how I see it? Like truly, any
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: husbands that are getting a tongue lashing like this is
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: how I view it now, because I really used to
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: like get heated and get kind of beat myself up,
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: shut down a little bit, not talk to Jim after
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: like she would challenge me on something or call me
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: out for something, and I truly revert to shout out
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: Coach Scott from middle school. He's my eighth grade football coach.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: And I would have a guy in wide receiver reps
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: run a route in front of me, and he would
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: look like a wounded gazelle running this route, maybe even
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: run the wrong route whatever, and he drops the.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Ball, goes to the back of the line. Coach Scott
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: doesn't say a word.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: I do one little wrong thing in my route something
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: this big?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Damn it, young, what are you doing to blah blah blah.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: You gotta get He's coaching me hard, and I'm like
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: He does that because he sees something in me, expects
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: something more of me that he doesn't see in the
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: other person. Like he's challenging me because one he knows
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: I can take it, but two, he knows that I'm
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: good enough to not make that mistake and he wants
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: me to be at my best.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: And that's how I like kind.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: Of interpret that coaching now from Jill of like it
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: is out of love, and I am glad that she
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: does it because I said it on that Mother's Day
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: episode and I meant it like I feel like ninety
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: percent of the reason that I'm the dad that I
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: am today. One, I'm on a dad podcast, so I
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: gotta be on my p's and q's. Two, I have
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: a wife that challenges me constantly, and I honestly love
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: it because he is making me a better man every
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: single time, and it's making me a better father every
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: single time. And I don't like being in the doghouse.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: I want to be in the doghouse, you know what
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: I'm saying. Like, so that's just how I see it. Yeah,
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: thank you for backing me, dude.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: I just I love the boy, and look, you need
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: some hard coaching at times. Yeah, yeah, Yeah, I just
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: love you. I love Jilly Bean, I love you forever man,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: thank you Charro. Love Papa Team six.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Love Papa Team six, love Scarlett. I do too.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: We have we have like a really big shout out
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: that I'm really excited for.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get into some uh, let's get into our comments.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Where do you want to start? I have shout outs.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I have Krack of Coal One, Dad Hack and PT
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: six community.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: I have a shout out that I really want to
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: get into because this guy is a Tier one and
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: a PT Sikoh, this guy is everywhere on x Nick Giles.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Oh, he is bro.
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: He is truly and he's not one of the weird
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: you know, like too much in the comments like he
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: he is just always positive, always pushing stuff, always stead.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: If we were creating an Avengers of Tier ones or
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Papa Team six, Nick would be in.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: It with my dude.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: If you go to Nick's Twitter, go through his feed
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: and it's retweet, will retweet, deeck, retweet, shirm, retweet, busting,
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: retweet for the dads. He's just out there retweeting and
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: loving everything. Nick is a homie and Nick his wife
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: is a badass because she wrote in for him.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Oh this is from Erica Giles.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: Hi, guys, I want to reach out and ask if
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: you could give my husband Nick a shout out for
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: his thirtieth birthday. I truly think it would mean the
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: world to him. Nick is honestly one of the best
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: men I know. He's an amazing friend, brother, uncle, husband,
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: and dad. He has such a huge heart and his
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: lover of everything, especially this podcast. He is a total Ptsiko.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: This man deserves the biggest shout out. He wakes up
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: at crazy hours to go to work and works incredibly
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: hard so I can stay at home with our boys,
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: even after being in a Yeah, he was in that
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: car crash, Dude, I forgot about that. Even after being
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: in a crash that honestly could have killed him, he
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: was back to work within days, because that's just the
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: kind of hard working and dedicated person he is.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: But it doesn't stop there.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: The second he gets home, he jumps straight into fun
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: dad mode. He rests with our two and a half
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: year old, feeds our nine month old, and always knows
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: how to make him laugh. He gives everything he has
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: to this family every single day. Nick listens to the
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: podcast every week and has been a fan since the
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: very beginning. He ordered tons of merch for both of
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: us because he genuinely loves and supports what you guys do.
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: I know hearing you guys wish him a happy thirtieth
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: birthday would absolutely make his year. Thank you so much
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: for taking the time to read this Milk Team six out.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: That made me tear up.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: I see that, what's the emotion I'm deserving? Just feel
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: undeserving to wish Nick a happy birthday? Well, just birth,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: happy birthday now. I hope you feel loved, bro, I
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: hope you feel loved. I don't know why I teared up.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: I just know Nick is such an awesome guy, and
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: the fact he loves our podcast is like that's humbling,
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Like that's so badass.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: And just supports in the way that you were talking
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: about retweeting everything, engaging with everything, just knowing that whatever
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: content he consumes of ours is like can escape for
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: him and like it fires him up. Yeah, dude, a
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: shout out and your wife writing in to tell you
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: happy birthday, Come on, man, Yeah.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: You have a legend as a wife and you have
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: two sweet little kids. I was just imagining him with
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: his kids, Dude, that's why I started to or not
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: yeah too, because he just d When you see a
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: good dad, when you hear about a good.

- 1:19:48Speaker 2: the best merch. I wanted to brag on him and
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: how he celebrated me from Mother's Day. This is our
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: first year being parents after struggling through years of miscarriages
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: and infertility. Oh man, yeah that is yes. Now I
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: proudly wear my mom merch. Thank you for all you do.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: We love listening. We always learn something new or crack

- 1:21:51Speaker 2: of place on each other that you project because you
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: don't know how the other feels when you're going through
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: hard times. Bro, especially for mom and dad learning how

- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: I feel like I'm getting over How can I talk

- 1:22:49Speaker 2: feeling the same way I do?
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: How do you deal with it? Or maybe not even
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: how do you deal.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: With It's not like we need to solve or an
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: answer right now, just knowing that you're both sitting with
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: each other in like a hard, very trying time.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Yeah, just feeling and experiencing everything together. Yeah.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I have an email by the way that I
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: know for a fact I will not be able to

- 1:29:01Speaker 3: actually really stoked. I did some more research on the
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: neighborhood that we're moving into.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Spring Hill.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: There's a community pool, there's a community grass like green
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: area where they do movie nights. They have a Fourth
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: of July parade, they have a bunch of events around
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: these holidays, and it's just something that Jill and I
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: have been so starved for and I am just very
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: very excited for that little like community aspect. Nothing against
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: where we live right now or the neighborhood somethingst them.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's just.
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: Like this is gonna be just such an opportunity of
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: like Scarlet to be able to like grow up alongside
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: these other kids are running around. There's little girls and
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: pigtails on bicycles with the little bells. As we were
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: like looking at the house for the first time, like
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: going down the street and they're hi, wait a minute,
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: Jill and I, Jill and I are like, oh my god,
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: like this is so cute. Yeah, And I'm just very like,
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: very are you looking forward to that?

- 1:30:04Speaker 1: cry again? No, but dude, I will not.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: I'm not going to be able to read this email.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: I swear to god. There's no palate cleanser that will.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna. I will try.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: But if they actually like, I can feel an ugly
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: cry coming on.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: No idea why I won't be able to do it.
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: Somebody else is gonna have to readop with Will because
- 1:30:24Speaker 5: he has a sad one too.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Oh I have a sad one as well.
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: The emails are beautiful. Okay, they are beautiful. You're exactly right.
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: I make it sound like it's terrible and apologies. These
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: are beautiful emails. I just I'm like, oh my god,
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: I'll stop talking about it and just man up and
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: do it.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: My crack a cold one is just going to simply
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: go to Scott Zilla sleeping through the night again in
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: her crib after being sick for a couple of days.
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: Kai out a bonus crack a cold one, dude, at
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: a bonus Scott's Zilla just looking like she worked a
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: double shift at the Amazon.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Scott Zilla is a busy body bro like she gets
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: after it. Yeah, and when she's in her rest period,
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: like net Geo finding Scott's Zilla in the wild during
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: a rest period, her facial expressions, the way she just
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: has that chill position because I've got her on the
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: couch a few times, or she just sitting back, or
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: she just got through a two a day or something
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: in Southern Texas.
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: Imagine like Dad's at home will understand this, like any
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: toddler under two sitting still for more than forty five
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: seconds and will tell me, I'm sitting there going she
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: doesn't How long is she do it? Like twenty minutes,
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: He's like that, not twenty, but like she'll do ten
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: to fifteen. Sometimes I said three, oh, you said three yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: I was embellishing, shouting out Scott' Zilla was shouting out
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: Scott's four minutes.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: At a time. She's just be in that position.
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: When I walked in and then went back out and
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: took the video, I'm just laughing because she's just she's
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: so funny to me, three to four minutes for something,
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: and she's swinging like I'm telling you, Zilla, Zilla is
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: an animal. So catching her in those those resting moments
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: where nothing's on her mind, and she just wants to
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: relax and check out for a few It's rare, but
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: when you catch him, you gotta you gotta capture.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: It, cause she's swinging.
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: Bro. She's like, Dad, I got I've been swinging all
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: day on my sister. Can I, for God's sake could

- 1:49:01Speaker 1: to the store and you get your money back.
- 1:49:02Speaker 8: In the customer service broad looked her up in the papers,
- 1:49:06Speaker 8: got her address, wrote a little letter. Yeah, I said
- 1:49:11Speaker 8: you like apples. I put a little picture on my
- 1:49:14Speaker 8: new crib. I said, hey, you like them apples? With
- 1:49:16Speaker 8: my little return receipt. Yeah, I centered the photo.
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: I was in the crib naked, said you liked THEMN
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: apples photos sticking up.
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: I even had a babe my mouth, yea, how you
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: like these apples? But that's sick and disgusting and we
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: would never condone that.
- 1:49:35Speaker 5: He also got a forty dollars gift card. Someone I'm
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: assuming about this for them. He got a forty dollars
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: gift card. I mean it's legal, but this dude's kind
- 1:49:43Speaker 5: of a g.
- 1:49:45Speaker 3: I forgot it insagram of registry.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: But a dude would have happened if customer service would
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: have just taken care of them.
- 1:49:53Speaker 5: So they're they're mailing it in on a Friday, is
- 1:49:55Speaker 5: what pissed me off. Yeah, yeah, call back Monday. Gary's
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: not any No, we got to sort this out now
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: while the nice people are on the phone. Yeah, so
- 1:50:02Speaker 5: the forty dollars gift card is not enough. He needs
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: like a hundred.
- 1:50:04Speaker 2: Yeah, customer yours is trying to figure out a solve
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: on a Friday, still during work hours.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: Do your job. Yeah, what a legend. You think I
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: broke this myself. It came broken.
- 1:50:17Speaker 3: Right right, Yeah, it came broken broken all right.
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: We found the ashes.
- 1:50:26Speaker 6: Boys, huge dad win. Here for Mother's Day. I was
- 1:50:32Speaker 6: cleaning out the garage me and wife. He moved into
- 1:50:35Speaker 6: the new house about a year ago. Still got some
- 1:50:37Speaker 6: old boxes. You know how that is. My wife thought
- 1:50:40Speaker 6: she lost her mom's ashes. Her mom passed away when
- 1:50:44Speaker 6: she was sixteen, you know, life changing. Anyway, she thought
- 1:50:50Speaker 6: lost as in the move. We haven't found him for
- 1:50:54Speaker 6: a year. So the day before Mother's Day, something told
- 1:50:57Speaker 6: me to clean out the garage and I found her
- 1:51:01Speaker 6: mom's ashes. So I was able to give her her
- 1:51:04Speaker 6: mom's ashes as part of her Mother's Day present. Anyways,
- 1:51:12Speaker 6: I just thought that was a huge dad win and
- 1:51:15Speaker 6: something new boys would want to hear. Love for the Day,
- 1:51:18Speaker 6: Love the Ship, my seventh, Me and my seven month
- 1:51:21Speaker 6: old boy Llewellyn absolutely fire the show like every week anyways, boys,
- 1:51:28Speaker 6: peace send.
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: Him merch right now. You send him merch right now.
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: The fact that he packaged the ashes as part of
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: the Mother's Day gift. What happened at sixty is like
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: life changing for you die. Oh mom got a sixteen.
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: Bro?
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: Send them like triple boy, send people virtualized. Instead of
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: finding the ashes, running the house, sweetheart.
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: Look what I founds. I held it for another twenty
- 1:52:04Speaker 2: four hours. Used it in the Mother's Day gift.
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: She was happy. Me and my boy my boys seven.
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: We watch this shit every week.
- 1:52:14Speaker 3: Man sandbag finding the ashes.
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: He found the ashes and just thought, oh, perfect Mother's
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: Day gift.
- 1:52:32Speaker 3: Bro, we're such like broken creatures, like we're the dads
- 1:52:37Speaker 3: are ridiculous, Biro.
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: It's so funny. Oh my god, Bro, that's what that.
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: It might be my new favorite. That might be my
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: new favorite voicemail of all time.
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: Oh good god.
- 1:52:52Speaker 5: I'll give you an hour to write down scenarios people
- 1:52:54Speaker 5: would call in about.
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: I don't know if we'd reach that one. No, I
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: don't know if that's there.
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: Insanity and just the total polar opposite of the dad
- 1:53:04Speaker 3: who the dad passed away with the wife and he
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: used that recliner chair that the dad hadn't made it
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: into a teddy bear and gave it to her. And
- 1:53:14Speaker 3: he's sitting there crying on the phone. We're sobbing as
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: we're listening to the call in found the ashes over Mama,
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: I go, oh shit, Dad, they get mother to that.
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: Get light bulb goes off. Good buddy, I ain't got
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: a Mother's Day. Get four and I go, oh shit,
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: Daddy found one. Daddy found a mother day. During the move,
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: we lost the ashes. You know, Mom died sixteen, brutal.
- 1:53:47Speaker 3: The life altering note was so out of nowhere, like
- 1:53:55Speaker 3: adding gravity to the situation that you like, Oh.
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: My god, amazing job this guy. We're laughing amazing.
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I mean right, we got a solo Saturday.
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: I hope they're on the couch watching this right now,
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: just laughing there. Ass boys, it's a d L from Texas.
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: Got a little solo Saturday going on.
- 1:54:18Speaker 7: Mom is off with Grandma, getting a little spa action
- 1:54:21Speaker 7: on Mother's Day weekend, also delayed birthday present, and me
- 1:54:25Speaker 7: and my.
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: Little girl are going to go to a barbecue cookoff.
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: You guys have inspired me to do a solo Saturday.
- 1:54:32Speaker 7: I've been hearing Shuran talk about it with Scarlett, and
- 1:54:35Speaker 7: we're gonna give it a shot today.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: Boys, Good d L from Texas. Let's go. I wonder
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: how it went. I know, I kind of want to
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: follow you. Sounds like you called in before he took
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: on the mission. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was getting you know,
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: there's some bumps in the road. There always is.
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: There always is on a solo Saturday. Yeah, that is
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: one thing. Also, I don't know if I've mentioned this
- 1:54:57Speaker 3: on the podcast yet, Jill uh is she got a
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: new position at the Burn unit here in Nashville.
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: Damn it, let's go, bro.
- 1:55:09Speaker 3: It's a big time opportunity for her. I am so
- 1:55:13Speaker 3: proud of you, honey, You're so deserving of it. The
- 1:55:15Speaker 3: crazy part is this is the first time of Jill
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: and I being together that she's not gonna be working
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: weekends or night shifts anymore. We get to have every
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: single weekend together now. Oh so kind of I'm not
- 1:55:28Speaker 3: trying to earn points here.
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: I have told Jill this.
- 1:55:30Speaker 3: I weirdly am like, I'm gonna miss the solo Saturdays
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: and solo Sundays that were like every now and then.
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: Uh you can still have those, Oh, I can still
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: have them, but it's like, I'm.
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: Not trying to earn points here that Hey, I love
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: doing it, trust me, I'm gonna miss it.
- 1:55:48Speaker 3: But I I was I was kind of like, you know,
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: kind of I'm gonna like miss those like where no
- 1:55:53Speaker 3: one's coming to save you and you just got to
- 1:55:55Speaker 3: come up with something fun.
- 1:55:56Speaker 2: Now you've equipped yourself exactly with accomplished that, knowing that
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: like mama can go do her own thing for a
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: little bit.
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and ka, I'm.
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: Gonna take scarscar We're gonna get to that house and
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: rip a morning. You know, inside ball between me and Scarlett,
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: you you weren't around when you were going on the weekends.
- 1:56:11Speaker 1: You wouldn't get it. I'm gonna take Scarlett. Here's a
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: gift card. Go get your feet done.
- 1:56:14Speaker 3: Yeah, truly, it made you a Vemo, Go get a Lotteugh,
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: it's just a full year of making up for Mother's
- 1:56:21Speaker 3: Day for me. That's what's in the forecast because that's
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: what old boy learned.
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: Calling in but they hit a solo mission, he's gonna
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: realize it's not near as bad as you think. There's
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: some lumps that you're gonna take along the way, but
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: you're almost empowered now, like, oh, I've kind of found.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: I found a system. It's so much were Mama's not needed.
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: Solo Saturday where you leave the house. This is my
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: golden rule. Solo Saturday, where you leave the house is
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: ninety nine point nine percent always better than staying at home.
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: For that solo Saturday, I can almost guarantee it. Yeah,
- 1:56:56Speaker 3: you will have a better day. They will have a
- 1:56:59Speaker 3: better day. Everyone wins. Go do something fun, hey men, bro,
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: even if it's free, little part, little picnic, little whatever,
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: little some little some go hit the slide.
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: Email time.
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: Oh no, I'm scared. I know, ca I go first
- 1:57:16Speaker 3: and get it out of the way.
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead.
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:57:21Speaker 3: This comes from Dominic Biassi. Dominic says, morning boys. This
- 1:57:26Speaker 3: is an email I've been meaning to write for a while.
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: I just don't know how to quite put it into words.
- 1:57:32Speaker 3: It meant to be a joyce email, and I just
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: want you all to know I'm writing this from a
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: place of peace and acceptance. I want to just shout
- 1:57:40Speaker 3: out a massive dad hack. Pt Sikos could take advantage
- 1:57:44Speaker 3: of building a village.
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: Long story short.
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: In January of this year, the love of my life,
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: my rock, and my wife and mother to our son
- 1:57:53Speaker 3: lost your life in a car accident. Never in a
- 1:57:56Speaker 3: million years did I think I would be a thirty
- 1:57:58Speaker 3: one year old widow our eighteen month old. As you
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: can imagine, our lives were turned upside down and we've
- 1:58:05Speaker 3: had to grow and find strength that we did not
- 1:58:08Speaker 3: think we would be capable of. But this strength and
- 1:58:11Speaker 3: growth have not happened alone. One of my wife's greatest
- 1:58:15Speaker 3: traits was building a village with people that genuinely care
- 1:58:18Speaker 3: about and support us, whether that be family, friends, co workers,
- 1:58:23Speaker 3: or neighbors. This village has helped support us through this
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: time when I myself did not know how I was
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: going to make it. As men and fathers, I know
- 1:58:32Speaker 3: that we have a tendency to meet our best friends
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: at a young age and never find the need to
- 1:58:37Speaker 3: grow our village or just keep our circle small and intimate.
- 1:58:42Speaker 3: I think a lot of us can fall prey to this.
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: Me included by opening our hearts and minds to new
- 1:58:47Speaker 3: relationships throughout this fatherhood journey can lead to some of
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: the most rewarding and fulfilling parts of being a father,
- 1:58:54Speaker 3: things we never even realized we needed. Build and nurture
- 1:58:58Speaker 3: that village. Gentlemen, community should not be scary a scary thought.
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: It should be an encouraging one. You'll never know when
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: you'll need to lean on it. I appreciate what y'all
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: put out every week. Y'all fired me up to continue
- 1:59:11Speaker 3: sticking my nose in the a gap on this new
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: journey of fatherhood. I am taking on. Shout out sirm.
- 1:59:17Speaker 3: DFW is proud of you, y'all. I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
- 1:59:25Speaker 3: I dough shout out shirm. DFW is proud of you.
- 1:59:39Speaker 3: Y'all are building the community that we so desperately need.
- 1:59:42Speaker 3: From the bottom of my heart, thank you. My wife
- 1:59:45Speaker 3: may no longer be here, but she has left a
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: legacy of what she built for my son and I
- 1:59:50Speaker 3: and I will always be grateful.
- 1:59:53Speaker 1: Thank you. Dominic Fiassi, Thank you, Dominic, Thank you dom Sorry, Hey,
- 1:59:59Speaker 1: you're good, bro. That is it's tough man.
- 2:00:04Speaker 3: Shout out, great throw, great throw.
- 2:00:09Speaker 1: That was unbelievable. Uugh, Dominic, You're the man.
- 2:00:15Speaker 3: I could I literally could not imagine that situation. I
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: like cannot imagine it.
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: I can't. I do not know what I would do.
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: Great words from him, my great lesson.
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and just having the clarity to write something like that,
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: and writing from a place of acceptance and peace. Yeah,
- 2:00:39Speaker 2: throwing in the DFW's proud of you.
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 2:00:44Speaker 3: I didn't even read that part. I was like, dude,
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna make it through this. I can't believe I
- 2:00:49Speaker 3: didn't cry.
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: And then you were, yeah, that's that's hard, man, because
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: all we can do is imagine what and we don't
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: want to imagine what a life would be like without
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: without our wives helping raise our kids.
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: Like, ah, I wish I had words.
- 2:01:08Speaker 2: I know he doesn't. He's not like looking for words.
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: He's just writing in to give us loves. That feels
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: insanely undeserving.
- 2:01:15Speaker 3: But yeah, I feel very undeserving of it, especially after
- 2:01:23Speaker 3: this Mother's Day plunder.
- 2:01:24Speaker 1: Dude, I just feel like an absolute act.
- 2:01:27Speaker 2: He would do anything I know to get bitched out
- 2:01:30Speaker 2: on the front step in his boxers and workers' gloves,
- 2:01:35Speaker 2: no shirt on our pants. Yeah, man, that's thank you, Tom,
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: thank you for writing in bro.
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: And like huge blessing because those uh, those are the
- 2:01:53Speaker 3: right heads that like that we often refer to. That
- 2:01:59Speaker 3: makes us some appreciate and be able to say good
- 2:02:03Speaker 3: and joke and yeah, dude, ug just like falling short
- 2:02:12Speaker 3: of making my wife feel like really special and then
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: reading that, you're like, I'm such an idiot. I'm such
- 2:02:22Speaker 3: an idiot. It's okay that I'm an idiot. I'm not
- 2:02:25Speaker 3: beating myself up about it. But it is like, oh man,
- 2:02:28Speaker 3: the doms out there are just ripping, and his kids
- 2:02:32Speaker 3: so lucky.
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: Eighteen month old girl.
- 2:02:41Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, eighteenth Yeah dude, Oh my god, she is
- 2:02:46Speaker 3: so lucky.
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know either, dude.
- 2:02:54Speaker 2: I's like, he gets to listen to us, hype up,
- 2:03:00Speaker 2: bitch all the highs and lows that we have, like
- 2:03:03Speaker 2: within our marriage with our wife, with parenting and get it.
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: I guess, like in a way lift through that with
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: a smile on his face, but also like sadness still
- 2:03:14Speaker 2: there in his heart.
- 2:03:15Speaker 1: Just you know you're somebody like that.
- 2:03:18Speaker 2: You hear us complain because it's all perspective, right, hear
- 2:03:21Speaker 2: us complaining? You know, a guy like that would do
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: anything to be in just a fucking doghouse. Yeah, no,
- 2:03:26Speaker 2: stuffed animal to hump while you're in the doghouse.
- 2:03:29Speaker 3: Anything, Yeah, yeah, man, well unreal and he.
- 2:03:40Speaker 1: Hey, guys, first off, I love the show.
- 2:03:43Speaker 2: I have two boys, ages eighteen and twelve, and hearing
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: all your new dads, all your new dad issues bring
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: back fond memories. My oldest son Noah loves busting with
- 2:03:52Speaker 2: the boys, and I told him and he needs at
- 2:03:54Speaker 2: least five more years before this is an appropriate show.
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: So it sounds like it sounds a goo bray. The
- 2:04:01Speaker 2: reason I'm writing this is for the last month life
- 2:04:04Speaker 2: has been in a blender. Early March, Noah signed is
- 2:04:08Speaker 2: off for letter to play football for the Barton Bulldogs.
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: It's a small D DO school in Wilson, North Carolina.
- 2:04:14Speaker 2: He's been nervous because they want to bring him on
- 2:04:16Speaker 2: as a big skill player and move him away from
- 2:04:19Speaker 2: playing left tackle, which is.
- 2:04:21Speaker 1: Is what he had always played.
- 2:04:23Speaker 2: After we celebrated his signing in his eighteenth birthday April
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: twenty ninth as a family by taking a cruise my
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: parents included. On April ninth, on the way back from
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: the cruise, my father suffered a massive heart attack and
- 2:04:35Speaker 2: passed away. It occurred on the side of the road
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: at a gas station an hour away from home. It
- 2:04:41Speaker 2: was sudden and no one was expecting it. Life has
- 2:04:44Speaker 2: not been the same since. It's stuff walking around on
- 2:04:47Speaker 2: a high of great news and a great family vacation,
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: and as soon as you get back, your legs are.
- 2:04:52Speaker 1: Cut out from under you.
- 2:04:53Speaker 2: To the top of it off, we found out last week,
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: the day before his birthday, that Noah will require hip
- 2:04:58Speaker 2: surgery for a hip and pingement that will butt him
- 2:05:03Speaker 2: out for three to six months. That will have him
- 2:05:05Speaker 2: out for three to six months. The school has been
- 2:05:08Speaker 2: great and is honoring their commitment even if you can't
- 2:05:10Speaker 2: play this season, but it has been another blow to
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: him right after losing his popaw. I guess I'm writing
- 2:05:15Speaker 2: to let you guys know to hug your dad every
- 2:05:17Speaker 2: day every chance you get, and tell them you love them,
- 2:05:22Speaker 2: even if to come from a generation a generation, even
- 2:05:27Speaker 2: if it doesn't come from a generation that doesn't.
- 2:05:29Speaker 1: Always say it back.
- 2:05:31Speaker 2: There were years that my father and I didn't have
- 2:05:32Speaker 2: the best relationship, but we were able to fix it
- 2:05:34Speaker 2: over the last few years of his life, and I
- 2:05:37Speaker 2: am grateful for that. But I can't replace the miss time.
- 2:05:40Speaker 2: You want the ultimate Dad Act. Write everything down, passwords,
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: account numbers, companies that own the accounts and how to
- 2:05:49Speaker 2: contact them, etc. No matter how involved your significant other is,
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: during times of stress and loss, things get forgotten and
- 2:05:56Speaker 2: missed and the world doesn't give you much time to
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: figure it out. Write it down and print it out.
- 2:06:02Speaker 2: Digital is nice. But nothing beats being able to put
- 2:06:05Speaker 2: a piece of paper in someone's hand. Any words of
- 2:06:08Speaker 2: encouragement or advice for Noah and I would be helpful.
- 2:06:11Speaker 2: Keep up the work boys. The laughster helps more than
- 2:06:14Speaker 2: you realize. Oh Man, thank you for writing Keith. Yeah, man,
- 2:06:37Speaker 2: it's dude, it's just hard. Just know it's gonna be hard.
- 2:06:53Speaker 2: You know, moments of missing your parent will will never
- 2:06:59Speaker 2: subside you. Obviously, you do learn to live with it,
- 2:07:05Speaker 2: and you know, at the end of the day, I
- 2:07:07Speaker 2: know you struggle over the midtime you had, and that's
- 2:07:09Speaker 2: given you perspective to give to other people on whatever
- 2:07:12Speaker 2: the fuck's going on in your life with your parents
- 2:07:14Speaker 2: or anybody close to you, like fix it, because life
- 2:07:18Speaker 2: is precious and you just never know when that time
- 2:07:23Speaker 2: will come when they're gone, and it can be an instant,
- 2:07:25Speaker 2: just like it was for you on the side of
- 2:07:26Speaker 2: the road at a gas station and for me my
- 2:07:28Speaker 2: mom it was a blood clot just on a random
- 2:07:36Speaker 2: Saturday night. But everything like you have.
- 2:07:42Speaker 1: Learned and have grown to learn, whether it be from
- 2:07:46Speaker 1: lessons the hard way or that your parents taught you.
- 2:07:52Speaker 1: You know, I know with Noah, it's like.
- 2:07:55Speaker 2: You learn to love your kids now way differently, knowing
- 2:07:59Speaker 2: how a fragile life is. I give you an example.
- 2:08:03Speaker 2: We were sitting there over the weekend at Cody's wedding,
- 2:08:13Speaker 2: and you know, the groom dances with her mom and
- 2:08:23Speaker 2: awesome friend of ours, like another mother growing up.
- 2:08:25Speaker 1: Her name is Carla. She took on that task.
- 2:08:33Speaker 2: And it was weird, man, And I was, you know,
- 2:08:36Speaker 2: about like this, but with a smile on my face,
- 2:08:38Speaker 2: knowing that my mom would be happy. And I know Cody,
- 2:08:47Speaker 2: you know, he's crying. Fuck, he's crying because he didn't
- 2:08:56Speaker 2: get to dance with mom. Why it's next to me,
- 2:08:59Speaker 2: he's crying. You feel it in this It was in
- 2:09:07Speaker 2: this barn awesome setup, and you feel it throughout the
- 2:09:11Speaker 2: whole room because it's all of our close friends and
- 2:09:15Speaker 2: family with how we grew up. So everybody knew what
- 2:09:19Speaker 2: my mom meant to us, to the community, to them personally,
- 2:09:24Speaker 2: and everybody just knew that moment was taking place. And
- 2:09:27Speaker 2: moments like that are just never gonna stop.
- 2:09:32Speaker 1: And you just did you just fucking do your best, man,
- 2:09:36Speaker 1: to know that the impact of your dad did have
- 2:09:38Speaker 1: on you, whether it was good impact, whether it was
- 2:09:42Speaker 1: bad impact, no matter what it is. They're all lessons,
- 2:09:44Speaker 1: they're all learns of how you want to be as
- 2:09:47Speaker 1: a father.
- 2:09:48Speaker 2: Maybe it feels more important now that you lost your
- 2:09:50Speaker 2: dad and now you see Noah, your son going through something.
- 2:09:53Speaker 1: Noah's going through something.
- 2:09:54Speaker 2: It's like, there are times I didn't know, you know,
- 2:09:56Speaker 2: if I'm Noah right now, there were times that I
- 2:09:58Speaker 2: didn't know how to be there for my day because
- 2:10:01Speaker 2: I knew my dad struggled, you know, more than I
- 2:10:04Speaker 2: did losing my mom. And there are times where I'm
- 2:10:09Speaker 2: talking to my dad and it's like, Dad, how many
- 2:10:11Speaker 2: times are we gonna have this conversation like sit in
- 2:10:13Speaker 2: this suck, cry, be emotional, feel like we have a
- 2:10:16Speaker 2: moment to kind of victimize.
- 2:10:17Speaker 1: Ourselfs And it just sucks because.
- 2:10:21Speaker 2: No matter what happens, they're not coming back and the
- 2:10:24Speaker 2: impact that they have on us is just through us.
- 2:10:26Speaker 2: And that's like a cliche, but dude, life's a fucking cliche.
- 2:10:32Speaker 2: And my heart goes out to you, Keith Due, thank
- 2:10:34Speaker 2: you so much for right now. I'm dude, I wish
- 2:10:38Speaker 2: I could give you a virtual bear. I'm giving you
- 2:10:40Speaker 2: a virtual Barhok. Right now I wish I could get
- 2:10:41Speaker 2: my paws on you because dude, fucking life. Life sucks
- 2:10:47Speaker 2: at times, and life is also amazing. It's uh, dude,
- 2:10:51Speaker 2: We're fortunate to feel this much emotion. We are lucky
- 2:11:00Speaker 2: because it means we were connected to something that was
- 2:11:03Speaker 2: so important to us that we get to feel the
- 2:11:05Speaker 2: way that we feel.
- 2:11:09Speaker 1: I don't want to sit here and ramble.
- 2:11:12Speaker 3: I'll jump in to just a hack. I guess there's
- 2:11:17Speaker 3: like some advice. Sorry, I've been crying a lot, so
- 2:11:25Speaker 3: I'm trying to get through this without like breaking down
- 2:11:27Speaker 3: when I started talking about it. But get something of
- 2:11:34Speaker 3: Noah's pop us that you can hand down to him
- 2:11:38Speaker 3: and for him to have that has always been really
- 2:11:42Speaker 3: special to me. There's a hat on the inside the
- 2:11:45Speaker 3: bus set that sits on the lamp that was my
- 2:11:48Speaker 3: grandfather's son hat. And I have a watch of his
- 2:11:54Speaker 3: as well, and I love those items. My other grandpa
- 2:11:58Speaker 3: that passed away, Parkinson's, I have his cuff links.
- 2:12:03Speaker 1: He was really special to me.
- 2:12:04Speaker 3: I was closer with him, and like, I've gotten nicer
- 2:12:08Speaker 3: cup leaks like throughout my life, but I always wear those.
- 2:12:13Speaker 3: They beat the world to me. I'm sorry they be
- 2:12:17Speaker 3: the world to me. I'm sorry for the passing of
- 2:12:22Speaker 3: your dad, and have something for yourself too from your
- 2:12:28Speaker 3: dad that you could have and hold on to. That's
- 2:12:33Speaker 3: my advice. Yeah, this is such an ugly like thirty.
- 2:12:40Speaker 1: Timers kind of he's got the timer tick out.
- 2:12:47Speaker 2: No, man, I lost my grandpa around the age that
- 2:12:49Speaker 2: you're at. I was eighteen nineteen twenty years old. The
- 2:12:55Speaker 2: big impact it was my dad's dad more situation that
- 2:13:00Speaker 2: you're in and our grandpa he lived one town over.
- 2:13:03Speaker 2: We'd go over to their house every Sunday. Like our
- 2:13:05Speaker 2: grandparents were involved with us a lot. And he passed
- 2:13:09Speaker 2: away when I was off in Nebraska. And then my
- 2:13:11Speaker 2: grandpa like he was in the hospital. He didn't ever
- 2:13:14Speaker 2: want me to come see him because he didn't want
- 2:13:15Speaker 2: his grandkids to see him in the state that he
- 2:13:17Speaker 2: was in. And it was hard for all the boys.
- 2:13:22Speaker 2: I know Cody, Cody went through it because Cody stayed
- 2:13:26Speaker 2: over at his house a lot. And you're gonna be
- 2:13:30Speaker 2: in your own world, obviously, you're going you're thinking about college,
- 2:13:32Speaker 2: you're thinking about football. You have to get surgery, buddy,
- 2:13:34Speaker 2: I've had so many surgeries. You're gonna get through this.
- 2:13:38Speaker 2: You're gonna attack that process. It's gonna be fucking hard again,
- 2:13:42Speaker 2: like life is. If I could speak to my younger
- 2:13:46Speaker 2: self that had no clue what was going on. It's
- 2:13:48Speaker 2: not like I feel like I did anything wrong, but
- 2:13:51Speaker 2: just thinking back and the experiencing loss now, like losing
- 2:13:53Speaker 2: my mom and losing people in my life that I
- 2:13:55Speaker 2: care about deeply. I can tell your dad writing in
- 2:14:00Speaker 2: your Dad is, your dad is struggling. And I don't
- 2:14:07Speaker 2: even know if my dad needed me to be there
- 2:14:08Speaker 2: for him more, but knowing now what I've experienced with
- 2:14:11Speaker 2: my mom, it's just knowing that anybody in your circle
- 2:14:14Speaker 2: that can put your arm around your old man, I
- 2:14:17Speaker 2: know he would appreciate it.
- 2:14:19Speaker 1: Oh, great advice.
- 2:14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like great if I'm also thinking about advice
- 2:14:23Speaker 2: or something for Noah. I'm sure he has a relationship
- 2:14:25Speaker 2: with Grandpa. But you know, it's like Grandpa, the older generation,
- 2:14:30Speaker 2: they're gonna die off, and it's different. You're young. You're
- 2:14:33Speaker 2: just not familiar with a life when you're a parent
- 2:14:36Speaker 2: in your thirties and things feel more fragile and you
- 2:14:38Speaker 2: lose friends in your circle. Buddy, you're gonna have people
- 2:14:42Speaker 2: that you go to high school with that are gonna
- 2:14:43Speaker 2: die in your twenties or maybe have passed away while
- 2:14:46Speaker 2: they're in high school, and it just you don't think
- 2:14:49Speaker 2: about that or have that perspective.
- 2:14:50Speaker 1: When you're younger.
- 2:14:52Speaker 2: I can just tell you older, if I could talk
- 2:14:54Speaker 2: to my younger self when I lost my grandpa, I
- 2:14:55Speaker 2: if I go back, it's like I would have called
- 2:14:58Speaker 2: my dad a little bit more because I know he
- 2:15:01Speaker 2: went through and he was like a brute. You know,
- 2:15:03Speaker 2: it is tough love with my old man. But yeah,
- 2:15:07Speaker 2: check on your dad, check on, check on Keith, check
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: on mister Miller.
- 2:15:11Speaker 1: It hit my mom really hard when her dad passed.
- 2:15:15Speaker 1: How old? How old were you and your grandpa passed?
- 2:15:21Speaker 3: It was the year after uh nine to eleven, so
- 2:15:24Speaker 3: I would have been eight, eight years old, Okay, eight
- 2:15:28Speaker 3: years old, so I did not realize the uh weight
- 2:15:34Speaker 3: and gravity of that situation. But just being like an innocent,
- 2:15:39Speaker 3: little eight year old kid, I'm seeing my mom for
- 2:15:42Speaker 3: like probably three months, like could not get off the couch.
- 2:15:47Speaker 1: She could, she was on the couch crying all the way. View.
- 2:15:51Speaker 3: Yes, she was on the couch crying all the time.
- 2:15:54Speaker 3: And I had no idea that that was about her dad,
- 2:15:59Speaker 3: and her dad meant the world to her.
- 2:16:02Speaker 1: He's a very great man.
- 2:16:05Speaker 3: And my mom often talks about how much it meant
- 2:16:10Speaker 3: to her that I would come lay with her on
- 2:16:13Speaker 3: the couch and tell her it was okay and that
- 2:16:16Speaker 3: how much we love her, and that meant the world
- 2:16:22Speaker 3: to her. And so I think that that was great
- 2:16:23Speaker 3: advice for you to Noah of You sometimes don't know
- 2:16:29Speaker 3: what's going on with your parents because like they have
- 2:16:31Speaker 3: to stay strong, they feel.
- 2:16:35Speaker 1: Like they have to like have it together. Yeah, and.
- 2:16:40Speaker 3: Cool that we get to give this, you know, nineteen
- 2:16:43Speaker 3: something year old some advice. But yeah, be there for
- 2:16:48Speaker 3: your dad, be there for your loved ones, and go
- 2:16:51Speaker 3: kick some ass. Dude, Barton Bulldogs, bart And Bulldogs. Because
- 2:16:56Speaker 3: if you're a left tackle, seeing Taylor Lawan that weight
- 2:17:01Speaker 3: and running around at that punt, passing cake and just
- 2:17:04Speaker 3: doing stuff all the time, I think to myself, my god,
- 2:17:09Speaker 3: if he had been a tight end like he like, brother,
- 2:17:13Speaker 3: you can make that transition.
- 2:17:15Speaker 1: It's a good thing. If they're wunning, you've been playing.
- 2:17:18Speaker 2: Left tackle, number one, if you can grow into that
- 2:17:20Speaker 2: left tackle body like you can swing from left tackle
- 2:17:24Speaker 2: tight end. Yes, dude, I'm assuming here, because he says,
- 2:17:31Speaker 2: I guess I'm trying to let you guys know, to
- 2:17:32Speaker 2: hug your dad every chance you get and tell me you
- 2:17:34Speaker 2: love him, even if it comes from a generation that
- 2:17:35Speaker 2: doesn't always say it back. To me, it sounds like
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: Keith and his son, his son's but in particular his
- 2:17:47Speaker 2: son Noah. It seems like they have a great relationship.
- 2:17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and I.
- 2:17:52Speaker 2: Would just love Noah to Again, I'm assuming, but I
- 2:17:56Speaker 2: would assume that in one Noah to understand the great
- 2:18:01Speaker 2: relationship that he has with his dad currently is probably
- 2:18:05Speaker 2: from a lot of life lessons of his dad. Keith
- 2:18:07Speaker 2: understanding that he that he's made things right with his
- 2:18:10Speaker 2: dad over the last few years. Yeah, but knowing what
- 2:18:14Speaker 2: he didn't want fatherhood to be with his own kids,
- 2:18:16Speaker 2: Noah being one of them. And sorry to not shout
- 2:18:19Speaker 2: out the other one, your old man just didn't you
- 2:18:21Speaker 2: didn't have your name on.
- 2:18:22Speaker 1: The list, But.
- 2:18:25Speaker 2: Knowing how important it is for his old man to
- 2:18:27Speaker 2: have a strong relationship with his dad and know when
- 2:18:29Speaker 2: it comes from a place of like, I don't want
- 2:18:32Speaker 2: my past to be my future with my son. Because
- 2:18:35Speaker 2: to me, it sounds like Keith now his dad like
- 2:18:39Speaker 2: yearned for a relationship with this old man and hated
- 2:18:41Speaker 2: that it took so long, and wish that they could
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: have got out of their egos and squashed it even
- 2:18:46Speaker 2: way before, even a few years ago.
- 2:18:49Speaker 1: And it cherished that with your dad, man, Yeah, cherish
- 2:18:52Speaker 1: that with your dad, good seed, good sod.
- 2:18:58Speaker 3: I did as soon as that mom was proud to
- 2:19:02Speaker 3: be wearing her ball, birch. It's like there's an ugly
- 2:19:06Speaker 3: cry in you today, dude, there's an ugly cry. Get like,
- 2:19:14Speaker 3: get us out of here so they don't have to
- 2:19:15Speaker 3: hear my little whiny. Yeah, dude, love you, buddy, I
- 2:19:22Speaker 3: love you, I love this show. I love you guys.
- 2:19:27Speaker 1: It's fun. Yeah, get it together right now. I know, dude,
- 2:19:32Speaker 1: I immediately after Fuck, those were heavy ones. Deeck may
- 2:19:41Speaker 1: thirtieth get out with us. Yea. But they're beautiful.
- 2:19:48Speaker 5: Yeah, they were meet a lot to a lot of people,
- 2:19:49Speaker 5: So it's cool to see that come across.
- 2:19:51Speaker 2: Hey, love you guys. Make sure you take out the trash.
- 2:19:54Speaker 2: We'll see you on socials and we will see you
- 2:19:56Speaker 2: next week.
