- 0:47Speaker 4: about Scott.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean things may just fall apart without him.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Everyone knows he's the glue though indeed.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Together, that's right, He's ask the greatest, He's the great

- 1:09Speaker 3: Exactly. We're lucky. We're lucky to have.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Oh yes, indeed I do see an incoming signal. Hold
- 1:19Speaker 4: on there it is, Oh, we are lucky to have
- 1:22Speaker 4: and he came back to us. Okay, I'm just here

- 1:39Speaker 5: you just go ahead and call those numbers.
- 1:41Speaker 6: All right, You.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Guys all set We're good. Where's that? How about you vacation? Right?
- 1:50Speaker 3: What's that? No, we're not playing Nintendo.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, so we're just we're just chilling here the
- 2:04Speaker 5: h at the bed and Breakfast. So we're not ready
- 2:07Speaker 5: to back up and hit the hit the road with
- 2:11Speaker 5: the motorcycle. So I just wanted to make sure these
- 2:13Speaker 5: guys started the podcast certainly, so I got a good start,
- 2:28Speaker 5: you know, didn't you know, start without me?
- 2:31Speaker 4: Welcome to bedcast.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, all right, we'll.
- 2:36Speaker 3: See you guys in a couple of weeks later.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Is that I was trying to get at, like, uh,
- 2:49Speaker 4: who's taking care of of Chad in the basement?
- 2:53Speaker 3: No, No, Chad's Chad's under that bed.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Oh okay, okay, that's right.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Okay, they got a Chad carrier, the Chad Carrier.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Oh man, fair enough, fair enough?
- 3:13Speaker 3: All right?
- 3:13Speaker 4: Well, uh, maybe we should get to the news and
- 3:16Speaker 4: talk about the craziness that's going on.
- 3:19Speaker 3: All right, Star trek News.
- 3:24Speaker 4: All right, so our first news story comes to us
- 3:26Speaker 4: from trekmovie dot com. I kind of think this is
- 3:30Speaker 4: a cool idea. We'll see what you think.
- 3:33Speaker 7: Dan.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Apparently there is a pitch for a return to basically
- 3:42Speaker 4: Scott Bakulam may be coming back to Star Trek. There
- 3:45Speaker 4: is a pitch for a President Archer TV series. Uh,
- 3:50Speaker 4: this is coming to us from one of the original
- 3:53Speaker 4: Enterprise producers and so apparently him and and uh Scott
- 3:59Speaker 4: back have been keeping in touch throughout the years. And
- 4:04Speaker 4: as a joke, I guess Bacula had said during uh
- 4:08Speaker 4: during Star Trek card, hey, when are we going to
- 4:10Speaker 4: make an Archer show? And then he goes, oh, yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 4: that's funny. Uh huh, And then they went, oh, wait,
- 4:15Speaker 4: and they thought about it, and apparently they have a concept. Uh.
- 4:19Speaker 4: This stems from Believe it or Not. The stems from
- 4:22Speaker 4: canon from the episode in a Mirror Darkly Part two
- 4:27Speaker 4: when Mirror Universe Archer sees the record of the of
- 4:32Speaker 4: Prime Archer, and if you look at this thing and
- 4:37Speaker 4: read it, it mentions that he was a like part
- 4:42Speaker 4: of the Federation and and all those sorts of things.
- 4:46Speaker 4: And they also mentioned lightly that he may have potentially
- 4:51Speaker 4: been the President of the Federation.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So I think he was the first president. He was like, right,
- 4:59Speaker 3: George watsh Right.
- 5:02Speaker 4: So the.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Wesley learned in elementary school that Jonathan Archer never told
- 5:09Speaker 2: a lie that's uh, and.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Had woulden t Yes, that's right. So yeah, so the
- 5:20Speaker 4: show would be Archer's time as president political show. I'm
- 5:25Speaker 4: not gonna lie, man. I think that's kind of cool.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I think that's a cool concept.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 4: The other thing you have is like Archer in the
- 5:37Speaker 4: show was such a cowboy and just doing whatever he
- 5:41Speaker 4: wanted running, you know, running and gun in and not
- 5:43Speaker 4: really a diplomat, and now he's forced to be one.
- 5:46Speaker 4: So that's kind of an interesting concept.
- 5:52Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I think it's a cool idea. Yes, if
- 5:58Speaker 2: that show was out, I would watch.
- 6:00Speaker 3: And of course.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'm not happy about Star Trek progressing in three different
- 6:11Speaker 2: points in their history right now. I'm not happy that
- 6:14Speaker 2: they're progressing in two different points of their of their history.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Last year when Picard was out, it because you know,
- 6:20Speaker 2: we had Discovery, Picard and Strange New Worlds all at
- 6:24Speaker 2: the same time. You know, this show is about the future.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Decide when the future is and tell stories about it.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Don't tell us stories about the future. The future's future
- 6:36Speaker 2: and the future's future's future at.
- 6:38Speaker 3: The same time.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Gets messy. Yeah, it gets muddy. It gets messy. It
- 6:45Speaker 2: gets muddy. You know, keeping things straight. Is is difficult.
- 6:53Speaker 2: We can't do this story here because we've already established
- 6:55Speaker 2: it at this time. You know, this happens, and it's
- 6:58Speaker 2: it's already happening now. You know, in the twenty fourth century,
- 7:03Speaker 2: Scotty is on the Holidack at the Enterprise d and
- 7:06Speaker 2: he's he's amazed, he's amazed by this technology. The computer said,
- 7:10Speaker 2: you can show me my old ship. Well, yeah, oh,
- 7:15Speaker 2: you were troubleshooting a Holidack eighty years ago.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Why is it a yeah, so that's already happening now.
- 7:27Speaker 2: And to be telling stories in three different time periods
- 7:30Speaker 2: along the same same timeline, it's.
- 7:34Speaker 3: No, not a good idea.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I agree with you.
- 7:39Speaker 3: They sat the world's run its course.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Cancel pre you know, back Girl, Back Girl, Starfleet Academy,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and then you can do your Archer, your Archer show.
- 7:50Speaker 4: I love that you're already like, I don't need this show.
- 7:52Speaker 4: You can go away, It's.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Fine, I don't, man, come on, you know, you know,
- 7:59Speaker 2: watch every I watched every single episode of Discovery, some
- 8:06Speaker 2: of them twice, some of them three times, and it
- 8:10Speaker 2: was work every single time.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah, watch them.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I watched them because I was obligated to watch them
- 8:22Speaker 2: to do this show no other reason. If I was
- 8:25Speaker 2: not a host of Trek Cast, I would not have
- 8:27Speaker 2: finished I would not have finished Discovery.
- 8:31Speaker 3: The thought of having to do it again A right? Right?
- 8:40Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:40Speaker 3: No, yeah, I wanna. I hear you body, I'm getting old, man, I.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Don't all right. Our next news story comes through us
- 8:50Speaker 4: from the Hollywood Reporter, and uh, you know, let's let's
- 8:55Speaker 4: play it while we still can. We are now post
- 9:02Speaker 4: uh a mountain deal. We are now living in a world.
- 9:07Speaker 4: So you know, what is that?
- 9:09Speaker 3: Like?
- 9:10Speaker 4: What is going on? Well, we got our first fallout apparently,
- 9:13Speaker 4: remember is that.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Gonna be a thing we're gonna are we gonna say
- 9:16Speaker 2: pre s guidance, guidance, we.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Might, we might?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Is that gonna be the term we use?
- 9:22Speaker 4: Yeah? I don't know, we'll see. So remember Paramount had
- 9:26Speaker 4: three CEOs, the Triune of CEOs. Do you remember this?
- 9:31Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, so I did that. It's still about it.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Well they don't anymore. A couple of the co CEOs
- 9:39Speaker 4: have been have been let go. Don't worry though. They
- 9:42Speaker 4: received eighteen million dollar payouts, so they're fine. They got
- 9:48Speaker 4: their golden parachutes.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I wasn't I wasn't worrying Daniel.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Okay, well, just don't want you to be too concerned.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Yeah and uh and yeah. So so the new boss
- 10:00Speaker 4: has taken over. David Ellenson has begun his time. I
- 10:07Speaker 4: did watch an interview with him on CNBC where he
- 10:10Speaker 4: talked about one of the big things they want to
- 10:12Speaker 4: change pretty much immediately is right now, they have three
- 10:17Speaker 4: streaming services. They have Paramount plus, they've got Pluto. I
- 10:23Speaker 4: think the third one is is Showtime if I remember it.
- 10:30Speaker 4: So they're all three different units, three different teams, three
- 10:34Speaker 4: different server systems, and he's like, that makes no sense.
- 10:38Speaker 4: It should all be under one thing. So they're gonna
- 10:41Speaker 4: try to combine them all, which also is a great
- 10:44Speaker 4: way to get rid of a ton of people. So
- 10:47Speaker 4: that's gonna be the first move. So he's saying that
- 10:54Speaker 4: they're they're looking to to spend some money and become
- 10:57Speaker 4: the destination capital for content, which is what they all
- 11:01Speaker 4: say when they're starting out, right, So what does that mean?
- 11:06Speaker 4: Who knows, But they want to get better talent at Paramount,
- 11:11Speaker 4: so good luck. One thing that I saw buried in
- 11:15Speaker 4: some of the reporting that I thought was interesting is
- 11:17Speaker 4: apparently the NFL has an investors steak in Paramount, not
- 11:23Speaker 4: CBS but actual paramount, which which is kind of interesting
- 11:28Speaker 4: because also earlier this week it came out that the
- 11:31Speaker 4: NFL has an investor steake in ESPN. So the NFL
- 11:37Speaker 4: is like picking up TV rights here and there all
- 11:40Speaker 4: over the place or owning them. It's kind of interesting.
- 11:45Speaker 4: So yeah, yeah, huh yeah. So we don't know what
- 11:51Speaker 4: major changes we'll see to content anytime soon. We'll probably
- 11:55Speaker 4: start hearing more about that in the next in the
- 11:56Speaker 4: coming months, but.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I think it's going to be the spun Bob Star
- 12:01Speaker 2: Trek Academy halftime show next year, that's what it sounds.
- 12:06Speaker 4: I will be really interested to see if they re
- 12:10Speaker 4: sign Kurtzman because this contracts up at the end of
- 12:14Speaker 4: next year, so it'll be interesting to see. Yeah, I
- 12:22Speaker 4: agree with you, but we'll see what they say about that.
- 12:24Speaker 3: You'll dismissed, so you need to bring in Patrick's just
- 12:28Speaker 3: to say you're dismissed.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Sheer hubrits. And then our last news story comes to
- 12:38Speaker 4: us from trekmovie dot com. This is being shown right
- 12:42Speaker 4: now at STLV, the big Las Vegas STARGEIC Convention. But
- 12:47Speaker 4: we are now getting to look at Wave two for
- 12:49Speaker 4: Nassel the action figures. So we had seen Wave one,
- 12:54Speaker 4: we'd seen Wave three and four. Finally we're getting Wave
- 12:59Speaker 4: two and we are getting was it Wharf on the sale? Oh,
- 13:05Speaker 4: Sailor Wharf edition, So we're getting Sailor Wharf, Sailor, Jordie
- 13:11Speaker 4: uh Valaris and Romulin Commander generic Romulin Commander. So we're
- 13:20Speaker 4: getting to see a little bit of what they come with.
- 13:22Speaker 4: So Jordi comes with the arch, which is kind of cool,
- 13:27Speaker 4: so he can say computer arch. The Commander comes with
- 13:32Speaker 4: looks like some sort of computer console and a bunch
- 13:34Speaker 4: of hands. Yeah, uh Valarius, what is that thing? That
- 13:40Speaker 4: white thing with the.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I'm on my phone. So it's like, okay.
- 13:46Speaker 4: When she comes with the boot, the magnetic boot, so
- 13:50Speaker 4: that's interesting. And then uh Wharf comes with two different
- 13:54Speaker 4: bodies so you can have him in the jacket or
- 13:56Speaker 4: out of the jacket, so that's kind of cool. He
- 14:00Speaker 4: comes with the declaration that they read about the Uh
- 14:05Speaker 4: isn't it his uh motion?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yep? So let me ask you, since you could see it,
- 14:13Speaker 3: I think it's his left knee. Is it stained? Because
- 14:18Speaker 3: if you watch that, if you watch that movie, he
- 14:21Speaker 3: must have scraped his knee in one of the takes.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Oh, okay, and.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Bleeding through the pants. I saw it in nineteen ninety
- 14:28Speaker 2: four and I can't unsee it every time I watch Generations.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I could see that. You know, he's like bleeding through.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Yeah, one of the No, it does not look stained.
- 14:41Speaker 4: But he does come on a plank. He does come
- 14:45Speaker 4: with a plank, though, you can have him walk the plank. Okay,
- 14:51Speaker 4: just what I wanted my Space Action figure to come
- 14:54Speaker 4: with a piece of wood.
- 14:58Speaker 3: It doubles as a tongue depress. There, that's right, that's
- 15:01Speaker 3: the right.
- 15:04Speaker 4: So oh, william huh what's that Williams. Williams says that
- 15:13Speaker 4: the thing I was asking about on Valai, it's uh,
- 15:16Speaker 4: it's after vapor raising the pot what was left?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, big thing of mashed potatoes with a spoons shirt.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, so there you go. I mean, hm,
- 15:34Speaker 4: I'm excited about these sell toys. They look really cool.
- 15:37Speaker 3: So yeah, I haven't seen any of them in person.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I mean, I haven't ordered any of them.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I haven't either yet.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I haven't seen much shelves either, But I don't buy
- 15:49Speaker 3: as much modern stuff as they.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Used to, right, same same I.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Might pick up. So stel is going on right now?
- 15:58Speaker 3: U uh huh.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I'm still friends with a lot of people on Facebook
- 16:02Speaker 2: that I met when I used to go there right
- 16:07Speaker 2: fifteen years ago, so a lot of that stuff is
- 16:11Speaker 2: shown up in my feed. Everybody in costume, all the
- 16:14Speaker 2: cost players. It's great. I love seeing all that stuff.
- 16:17Speaker 2: But at the same time, I'm like, oh, I want
- 16:20Speaker 2: to go to there, yeah, yeah, what's uh. What's interesting
- 16:28Speaker 2: is you know a guy follow his name's Eric Allen Hall.
- 16:32Speaker 2: He's a big cos player. He was at my Star
- 16:34Speaker 2: Trek wedding as as Data as Carlos from South America.
- 16:40Speaker 3: So he had the makeup when he had the the
- 16:43Speaker 3: fedora and the and the zoot suit.
- 16:46Speaker 2: But he's he is always famous for for cosplaying Data
- 16:51Speaker 2: And it's funny because you know, we all age and
- 16:56Speaker 2: when he was younger, he looked a lot like Data
- 16:58Speaker 2: and he's kind of right Hollywood term, he's aging out
- 17:02Speaker 2: of the role right right. A few years ago he
- 17:06Speaker 2: got a wig that has curly blondish hair and the
- 17:11Speaker 2: last few years he has started doing Chief O'Brien and
- 17:15Speaker 2: he has aged into the Chief O'Brien look very well.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Hilarious.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yes, so a couple of pictures of him with a
- 17:23Speaker 2: with a really good wharf and a really good Kira.
- 17:28Speaker 3: And it looks it looks cool, very good.
- 17:31Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I love seeing his his stuff.
- 17:34Speaker 4: That's funny. When when my dad was younger, he looked
- 17:38Speaker 4: exactly like Eric Ostrada, like Dead Ringer. Okay, he has
- 17:46Speaker 4: it looks like yeah, yeah, it doesn't look anything like
- 17:51Speaker 4: him now, but back then, yeah, it was. It's pretty funny,
- 17:54Speaker 4: so nice. Yeah, all right, well we should probably get
- 18:01Speaker 4: to our main topic, Star Trek extrange, New Worlds? What
- 18:07Speaker 4: was it through the lens of time? So all right,
- 18:11Speaker 4: let's just get fun.
- 18:12Speaker 6: Will now comment?
- 18:18Speaker 4: All right, the fifth episode. We're halfway through season three. Yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 4: this episode was interesting. Uh, a little bit of a
- 18:34Speaker 4: recap on here this You want to recap the episode again,
- 18:40Speaker 4: you can recap it. Okay, this is just from Wikipedia.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Junior medical officer uh Dana Gable and Archaga's documentarian brother
- 18:52Speaker 4: Bento during an archaeological expedition led by Chapel and doctor
- 18:56Speaker 4: boyfriend exploring an ancient building UH related to attempts to
- 19:02Speaker 4: unlock the immortality. When Gamble picks up a glowing orb
- 19:06Speaker 4: it explodes, destroying his eyes, is transported back to the Enterprise,
- 19:10Speaker 4: while the rest of the team, joined by Spot and Leon,
- 19:15Speaker 4: are trapped in the building and Bega fails to re score.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Gamble's eyes and scans indicate the table is brain dead
- 19:23Speaker 4: despite appearing to be conscious. He waiting discovers that they
- 19:28Speaker 4: are in a prison for extra dimensional parasitic teams called
- 19:32Speaker 4: the VESDA, and they navigate the building's unusual metaphysical properties
- 19:39Speaker 4: to escape until Esseemly triggered by herd born DNA, recognized
- 19:44Speaker 4: as Gamble, as possessed by the VESNA, and attacks him.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Gamble is apprehended by security and placed the brig. He
- 19:51Speaker 4: kills his guard, escapes Jake, Scotty sam Kirk, and Chief
- 19:56Speaker 4: Engineer Pelia Ossage interesting to control the ship. Uh three
- 20:01Speaker 4: the other VESA. Oh yeah, it kills him and Scottie
- 20:04Speaker 4: tramps the sirt A transport. I mean that's pretty accurate.
- 20:10Speaker 4: That's what happened. Yeah, yeah, would you would you think
- 20:17Speaker 4: of the episode?
- 20:23Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on this season, but I
- 20:25Speaker 2: just I can't get into it. Yeah, I really, I
- 20:28Speaker 2: really can't get into it. It took me a couple
- 20:31Speaker 2: of tries to uh get through this episode mm hmmm.
- 20:36Speaker 2: And I only watched it once, and now that you're
- 20:40Speaker 2: talking about it, like, I'm not sure I watched the
- 20:43Speaker 2: ending because you know, it took me a couple couple
- 20:45Speaker 2: of times, because I fell asleep a couple of different
- 20:48Speaker 2: nights trying to watch it, and I thought I finished it,
- 20:50Speaker 2: but maybe I didn't.
- 20:56Speaker 4: I will say. I put up a you know, an
- 20:58Speaker 4: image of it from from the show in our Facebook group,
- 21:02Speaker 4: and people over all seem to like it.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I'll watch it again. Yeah, I don't know.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Little you know me, I had little things that I
- 21:13Speaker 3: that I nitpick.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah, spots like nope, missions over, missions over, we're going outside,
- 21:18Speaker 2: we're calling the ship, and then they have a discussion
- 21:22Speaker 2: and he's like, okay, let's continue.
- 21:25Speaker 3: What right? What? Why is this nurse guy? Why is
- 21:33Speaker 3: he handling unknown alien? Yeah? Technology? Just picking it up
- 21:40Speaker 3: off the floor. Yeah, what that is? You don't know?
- 21:46Speaker 3: So is it a children's toy? Is it a grenade?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Is it a cupcake? It could be any of those
- 21:52Speaker 3: three things and a thousand others. You have no idea
- 21:55Speaker 3: what it is. Definitely pick it up and hold it
- 21:57Speaker 3: six inches from your face.
- 21:59Speaker 4: That's right, that's the best way to look at it.
- 22:05Speaker 3: What's her name's DNA has taken over? I don't, I
- 22:12Speaker 3: don't know.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So are we supposed to surmise that the Gorn and
- 22:18Speaker 2: this other species have a history or was that her
- 22:23Speaker 2: Gorn sense tingling?
- 22:25Speaker 3: Is she like Spider Man of the Gorn? Now?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Is she?
- 22:30Speaker 3: I don't, I don't. I don't know what's going on here.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I mean, I know, I'm not supposed to know what's
- 22:35Speaker 3: going on here. That's the mystery that they're they're trying
- 22:37Speaker 3: to to develop.
- 22:39Speaker 4: You got you got the magic blood, the magic Gorn blood.
- 22:42Speaker 3: She's got the magic blood. She's got the magic blood.
- 22:50Speaker 2: But like things don't fit the idea, you know it
- 22:53Speaker 2: was it was a season ago that they're ready to
- 22:56Speaker 2: put number one in jail because she's she's genetically modif right, right,
- 23:02Speaker 2: And now this captain, Captain Pateel is clearly genetically modified, right,
- 23:08Speaker 2: in violation of you know whatever, whatever whatever. And while
- 23:12Speaker 2: I don't expect them to throw her in jail, while
- 23:17Speaker 2: I don't expect them to bounce her out of starfleet,
- 23:21Speaker 2: the idea of hey, look outside, pick any of those ships,
- 23:24Speaker 2: and it's yours.
- 23:25Speaker 3: What Yeah, that makes no sense.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Well, and not only that, she also has got number
- 23:35Speaker 4: one's blood in her. Remember that's how they partly got
- 23:38Speaker 4: the So she's yes, ultra genetically modified, she's.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Double secret genetically modified, right right, Like I don't think.
- 23:51Speaker 4: You would think with what happened to her, they would
- 23:54Speaker 4: have her down at Starfleet Medical on her trying to
- 23:58Speaker 4: figure it out because she was in case this happens
- 24:01Speaker 4: again with the Gordon What what procedures and treatments they
- 24:04Speaker 4: can have for people?
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, or even you know, sub Section thirty one medical facility. Yeah,
- 24:14Speaker 2: don't even bring it to earth because we don't know
- 24:17Speaker 2: her chest may burst open, and and and now we
- 24:19Speaker 2: got Gordon babies, you know, running around Salt Lake City.
- 24:23Speaker 2: We can't have that, right Section thirty one special or
- 24:29Speaker 2: you know what, a ship's going to meet you for her.
- 24:32Speaker 2: That's what would happen realistically.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, absolutely. So it's there's things that don't
- 24:42Speaker 4: fit for sure, but it's how they're writing it, and
- 24:48Speaker 4: and it's it's all these weird little plot holes that
- 24:51Speaker 4: people don't think about.
- 24:53Speaker 3: You know.
- 24:53Speaker 4: It's funny when the episode started and and Gamble was
- 24:57Speaker 4: was doing his uh, his law, you know what his day, right,
- 25:03Speaker 4: And immediately I'm like, oh, this guy's dying immediately yep. Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 4: he's toased, yeah yep.
- 25:12Speaker 3: And uh.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Then when he's.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Almost like the trope trope about the the black guy
- 25:21Speaker 2: in a horror movie. Yeah, you know the trope where
- 25:23Speaker 2: they say, oh, you know he's.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Gonna die right right right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's definitely
- 25:31Speaker 4: tagged for death. The other thing, too, is like, so
- 25:35Speaker 4: they're they're in this building, there's all these like weird
- 25:38Speaker 4: like traps, and like it puts them on different planes.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I don't know if you've ever seen this movie, but
- 25:44Speaker 4: there's a movie from the nineties called Cube. It's a
- 25:48Speaker 4: it's an old horror movie that's some familiar. Okay, so
- 25:53Speaker 4: Cube is an interesting movie. The first one, especially where
- 25:58Speaker 4: people wake up in this room and they have no
- 26:00Speaker 4: idea how they got there, and there's traps and the
- 26:03Speaker 4: only way to escape is to push through the maze.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Right.
- 26:07Speaker 4: There's three different openings. You go this way, that way,
- 26:09Speaker 4: or that way, and each room is either trapped or
- 26:12Speaker 4: not or safe to go through, and so they have
- 26:15Speaker 4: to figure it out. This episode really reminded me of
- 26:20Speaker 4: Cube in that respect. Like, the other thing I thought
- 26:27Speaker 4: was kind of funny was this guy, the let me
- 26:31Speaker 4: see if I can find him, the alien guy. He
- 26:34Speaker 4: just kind of dips out in the middle of it. Yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 4: and they're like, where'd you go?
- 26:41Speaker 3: Huh, I'm so you cut out from what happened in
- 26:44Speaker 3: the middle of it.
- 26:45Speaker 4: He just kind of leaves for a good chunk of it. Well,
- 26:48Speaker 4: they're trying to figure out what's going on in this prison. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 4: that was weird.
- 26:59Speaker 3: So I don't.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Like I understand why people liked the episode. There was
- 27:08Speaker 4: some interesting things there, but there was also some some
- 27:13Speaker 4: issues with it, and when you're when this is the
- 27:18Speaker 4: best of what's been around for a while, Sure it's great,
- 27:22Speaker 4: but it could be so much better, I will say.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Duvall pointed out that finally we got a strange New
- 27:29Speaker 4: world in Strange New Worlds. Yeah, you know, yeah, that's true. Yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Williams says it felt like it was an The episode
- 27:42Speaker 4: felt like an escape room. Yeah kindah, yeah, there's absolutely
- 27:48Speaker 4: an escape room. I wonder if that was like on
- 27:50Speaker 4: the board when they were writing this, Like, I wish
- 27:52Speaker 4: you did an escape room episode.
- 28:00Speaker 3: So that the drone see all all three groups.
- 28:07Speaker 4: I thought, I don't know, it's just somehow good right
- 28:14Speaker 4: because it was magical drones.
- 28:15Speaker 3: It was just clear, just as unclear to you as
- 28:18Speaker 3: it was to me.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Yeah, none of it was clear. And then what are
- 28:29Speaker 4: we doing next week?
- 28:32Speaker 7: Uh?
- 28:35Speaker 4: It's the episode is called the Shei Latte, who ate
- 28:38Speaker 4: its tail? Okay, okay, chasm is slow New Worlds. Let's see.
- 28:53Speaker 4: I'm trying to look at some of the uh, some
- 28:55Speaker 4: of the responses we had from people about this episode.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Mike says, can't watch an episode completely through without stopping
- 29:07Speaker 4: at some point. I have to get an aspirin or
- 29:09Speaker 4: whiskey or both for new track. Uh, kwan ku, I
- 29:21Speaker 4: don't I don't know, says he's grateful, Uh that we
- 29:25Speaker 4: got a real Star Trek episode again instead of filler
- 29:27Speaker 4: episodes that we've been getting and I've enjoy and I
- 29:30Speaker 4: enjoyed it. That's cool, man, It's weird that we've had
- 29:34Speaker 4: four filler episodes by your by your metrics. Let's see,
- 29:41Speaker 4: James says, after lock last week's contradiction of start of
- 29:45Speaker 4: Scottie's t G appearance when he knew nothing of the Holidack.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Then we get this week's contradiction of Jordan LaForge, who
- 29:53Speaker 4: couldn't have a single uh, couldn't have new eyes recreated
- 29:56Speaker 4: in generations. I'm wondering if the writers have ever watched
- 29:59Speaker 4: a single TNG episode.
- 30:03Speaker 3: So I agree with the first thing he said.
- 30:05Speaker 2: There the second thing, I think he's mistaken because I'm
- 30:08Speaker 2: pretty sure Pulaski offered to grow him new eyes in
- 30:12Speaker 2: season two and he declined because he he would lose
- 30:17Speaker 2: all the special abilities that his his advisory gives him.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Jill say's cut out the stupid romance stuff, and I
- 30:26Speaker 4: dare say, we have a great episode. I there wasn't
- 30:35Speaker 4: that much romance stuff. I don't think.
- 30:39Speaker 2: No, there's a little there's a little tension because of
- 30:42Speaker 2: previous romance.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yeah stuff.
- 30:44Speaker 2: You know, the whole Kirby Spock dynamic is just weird.
- 30:50Speaker 2: And that's another thing, you know, the second that Korby
- 30:52Speaker 2: was like, I don't work for Starfleet.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yeah I don't.
- 30:56Speaker 3: I don't have to listen, get out of here, you're out.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Yeah that's how that would go down.
- 31:03Speaker 4: What do you think of Kirby?
- 31:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 31:18Speaker 4: I keep wondering if you're a villain at some point.
- 31:23Speaker 3: No, because he shows up in t os Okay, he's Uh,
- 31:29Speaker 3: I'm trying to remember.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I don't know if she's his ex husband or just
- 31:33Speaker 2: ex boyfriend or whatever. So, I mean, we know it
- 31:36Speaker 2: doesn't work out, right, we know it doesn't work out
- 31:40Speaker 2: with him, but yeah, I mean I don't think we
- 31:47Speaker 2: know why it doesn't work out. So yeah, maybe we will.
- 31:49Speaker 2: He'll be a villain at some point, yeahs stranger things.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Maybe not a villain villain, but you know we're gonna
- 31:56Speaker 4: like if he's obsessed with immortality, that's that's villain territory. Yeah,
- 32:02Speaker 4: and don't they kind of have it with the Magic Blooded?
- 32:07Speaker 3: I don't know, I know.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Yeah, there's so many plot holes. Yeah, William says they
- 32:15Speaker 4: explained with some technobabble. Huh.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I'm just waiting for Patel to like haulk out into
- 32:25Speaker 2: some lizard woman. That's why she's not in TS.
- 32:32Speaker 4: I God, I hope that happens. I will die laughing.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 32:38Speaker 4: So what did you think of this?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Uh?
- 32:40Speaker 4: These creatures that possess Gamble? Is that anything interesting to you?
- 32:51Speaker 3: You cut out? What did I think of?
- 32:52Speaker 4: What the creatures that possess Gamble? Metaphysical yeah, I don't know.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I thought they were gonna be was what was the
- 33:13Speaker 4: name of the species that the borg hated and Voyager
- 33:19Speaker 4: eight for Yeah, yeah, I thought they were gonna make
- 33:25Speaker 4: them those guys.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but I guess not. That would have been interesting. Yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 3: you know, mentioned like fluid e space somehow.
- 33:37Speaker 4: And yeah, because that that's wide open to do whatever
- 33:42Speaker 4: you want with. There's there's really no backstory to them, Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 4: which is what they love. They they want to put
- 33:50Speaker 4: their fingerprints all over it, So do it.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure with the with the doctor being in
- 33:58Speaker 2: Starfleet Academy, we will we will get some sort of
- 34:02Speaker 2: callback to them.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Uh if if not, like the newest the newest Cadet
- 34:09Speaker 3: is a is a.
- 34:11Speaker 2: H three legged person who turns out to be species
- 34:15Speaker 2: eight four seven to their newest newest recruit star Fleet.
- 34:22Speaker 4: Yes, shut half Flutex based alien, half Pomeranian, that's what
- 34:28Speaker 4: we're getting.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Yeah, got three legs, but you you decide if it's
- 34:35Speaker 2: one extra or he's missing one.
- 34:39Speaker 4: Oh god, what if they give us a mog in
- 34:43Speaker 4: an academy just randomly there's part man, part dog. Do
- 34:52Speaker 4: it cowards?
- 34:53Speaker 3: Do it?
- 34:55Speaker 7: All? Right?
- 34:56Speaker 3: Well?
- 34:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm asking people to x up, and yeah, I'm
- 35:01Speaker 4: asking people to dix up. So why don't we get
- 35:04Speaker 4: to listener feedback?
- 35:05Speaker 1: Then listener feedback?
- 35:13Speaker 4: All right, so while we're getting people on the line, uh,
- 35:17Speaker 4: just remember that you can always leave us a voicemail
- 35:21Speaker 4: at five seven zero six six one zero zero zero one.
- 35:26Speaker 4: That's five seven zero six six one zero zero zero one.
- 35:31Speaker 4: Love to have your voicemails. And then also we are
- 35:34Speaker 4: on social media. Basically all the social media is at
- 35:38Speaker 4: Shrek cast TNG. So yeah, oh and there he is.
- 35:45Speaker 4: We got the beardless.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Yeah that.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Wow, you're gonna grow it back.
- 35:55Speaker 6: Yeah, well it's hot, you know, it's.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Yer hot, so.
- 36:02Speaker 6: Beardless, yeah, Jazz beardless.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Well would you think of the episode?
- 36:11Speaker 6: I'm like, I'm with Dan that second half, Like I
- 36:16Speaker 6: had to watch it again. I didn't wind it the
- 36:19Speaker 6: second night to watch it again because I lost interest.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Yeah I don't.
- 36:24Speaker 6: I don't know why I did, but I lost interest.
- 36:27Speaker 6: And I don't know. When she turned it to Lizard Superhero,
- 36:31Speaker 6: I kind of dipped out.
- 36:33Speaker 4: You know, Yeah, that'll do it. That'll do it.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Because all right, so why isn't she get Starfleet Medical
- 36:42Speaker 6: getting examined? Why? I'm like why is she flying around
- 36:46Speaker 6: the whole galaxy? And was like, yeah, we're gonna take
- 36:49Speaker 6: a pit stop at this planet right now, basically Planet
- 36:53Speaker 6: Canada and a rock quarry on a gloomy day. And
- 36:57Speaker 6: then after that Renego went to the volume.
- 37:00Speaker 4: So I feel like they use that same rock Cory
- 37:03Speaker 4: for a few different things now, Yeah, because I remember
- 37:08Speaker 4: it from Discovery.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Do you think she's gonna break up with Pike now
- 37:14Speaker 2: that I think he's gonna break up with her? I
- 37:17Speaker 2: think she's gonna break up with him now that she's
- 37:21Speaker 2: a she's a Lisbian.
- 37:28Speaker 4: She's gonna find a nice lizard to settle down with. Yeah,
- 37:40Speaker 4: I can see that. I can see that.
- 37:43Speaker 6: So read the cup.
- 37:45Speaker 4: What are you talking about? Willis?
- 37:51Speaker 6: Oh my god, that is funny. Yeah, this is a
- 37:55Speaker 6: whole episode of everybody changing back into I don't know,
- 38:02Speaker 6: lizard people, and then guy loses his eyes and doctor
- 38:06Speaker 6: and Benga tries to regrow the eyes, and I'm sitting there,
- 38:09Speaker 6: I'm like, Okay, I bet Jordi's like, what the f man?
- 38:13Speaker 6: Wouldn't they grow me some eyes on the Enterprise? So
- 38:19Speaker 6: I'm kind of confused there had they always had that
- 38:22Speaker 6: technology where they can regrow the eyes.
- 38:26Speaker 4: I mean, did they regrow I mean his eyes were gone, yeah,
- 38:30Speaker 4: gone a leg for right, didn't they regrow that?
- 38:34Speaker 2: They regrew a leg, they regrew marktalk a leg and yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 2: but they've got Mark.
- 38:44Speaker 4: You they offered to do an eye for marktalk. I
- 38:46Speaker 4: remember that, but you said it wouldn't be the same.
- 38:51Speaker 6: I wouldn't, but I'll take the leg.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Yeah, So I don't know. It's just kind of weird
- 39:01Speaker 6: that you think he would have a I don't know
- 39:04Speaker 6: the ice thing. I think the colder record the ice
- 39:08Speaker 6: the way they do it. But the thing is is
- 39:10Speaker 6: he's brain dead. And why would a doctor tell somebody like,
- 39:14Speaker 6: by the way, your brain dead? Ken any readings from
- 39:20Speaker 6: your brain?
- 39:20Speaker 4: So oh, I took it as more as like he's
- 39:23Speaker 4: reading the truck going the hell this guy's brain dead?
- 39:26Speaker 3: Would out loud, out loud?
- 39:28Speaker 6: Yeah, set it out loud, like this guy's brain dead.
- 39:37Speaker 4: He's like, what are you stupid? It says you're brain dead?
- 39:39Speaker 6: Yeah, I like the phone a friend on that one? Yeah,
- 39:49Speaker 6: would work. Would you tell the patients that their brain's
- 39:53Speaker 6: not working? Well, they're talking to him.
- 39:56Speaker 4: They've had this Gamble character in the background for a
- 39:58Speaker 4: few episodes. Now now I starting to like him, Like
- 40:01Speaker 4: I was like, oh, yeah, this guy could be a
- 40:03Speaker 4: fun addition, and now he's just gone.
- 40:06Speaker 6: And then Scotty turns into a ghostbuster in the end
- 40:09Speaker 6: and traps it.
- 40:10Speaker 4: So that's right, So that's how he gets the idea
- 40:14Speaker 4: and generations. Yeah, yeah, just hang out in the buffer.
- 40:20Speaker 6: What do you think of this whole love triangle spot
- 40:23Speaker 6: and everybody? It's kind of weird.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not a love trial anymore. So it's like
- 40:31Speaker 3: a it's like a trapezoid.
- 40:37Speaker 4: I mean, he's moved on, right, and like Leon is
- 40:41Speaker 4: totally cool with being the rebound.
- 40:43Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know, you know, of course he doesn't
- 40:47Speaker 6: talk to Kirk and say like, hey, I dated a
- 40:50Speaker 6: con before.
- 40:51Speaker 3: So yeah yeah yeah, or even that a new one.
- 40:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I know an oh man, don't worry, I fought
- 41:02Speaker 6: a Gorn before you, Kirk, so I know all about
- 41:06Speaker 6: the Gorn.
- 41:07Speaker 2: I mean to be fair, Scott, you know it kind
- 41:09Speaker 2: of it kind of puts a new perspective on things.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 2: In in Star Trek Into Darkness, when when young Spock
- 41:18Speaker 2: calls old Spock and says, have you ever dealt with
- 41:22Speaker 2: a man named Condonian sung and old Spock says, he's
- 41:26Speaker 2: the biggest piece of ship that ever lived.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Right, And also I dated his sister. She was crazy.
- 41:33Speaker 3: You know, he didn't even mention that.
- 41:36Speaker 6: Dated her great granddaughter. She's pretty hard whatever.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Yeah, great great great. I was gonna say. Spock's got
- 41:44Speaker 4: a history of not mentioning things though. Like now we've
- 41:47Speaker 4: got Michael Burnham, his sister that he never mentioned, apparently
- 41:51Speaker 4: dating Cohn's great great granddaughter, you know, his brother brother brother. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:58Speaker 4: she doesn't talk just yeah.
- 42:00Speaker 6: And he's dyslexic. Don't forget about that.
- 42:02Speaker 4: Oh that's right, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. Forgot his
- 42:11Speaker 4: name Siebox okay, Silock, syebog whatever.
- 42:19Speaker 6: Uh yeah, these riders cracked me up.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 42:22Speaker 6: It's like maybe you know, you google something like what
- 42:28Speaker 6: episode about the character? You don't have to go on
- 42:30Speaker 6: memory Alpha anymore, and I will tell you real quick,
- 42:34Speaker 6: like have they done this? Yes or not?
- 42:38Speaker 4: You know, it's funny you mentioned that.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Uh.
- 42:40Speaker 4: They recently interviewed the South Park guys and they asked
- 42:44Speaker 4: him like, how do you you know you've been along
- 42:46Speaker 4: been around for so many years? What's like twenty six
- 42:49Speaker 4: years at this point? For start for South Park and
- 42:53Speaker 4: they're like, how do you keep up all the lower
- 42:56Speaker 4: intact in your head? He's like, yeah, we just google it.
- 42:58Speaker 4: We don't remember at all. Like yeah, yeah, yeah, there's
- 43:01Speaker 4: fan wikis and they oh that's who that's character's parents
- 43:04Speaker 4: are and that's what they do.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Great, that's it, but it's true. I'm just you know,
- 43:09Speaker 2: think of this show here. Yeah, remember every free conversation
- 43:14Speaker 2: that we've had over the last eight years or whatever.
- 43:18Speaker 3: They can do this.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's that's just human memory.
- 43:24Speaker 2: So no way, Yeah, like you know twenty and listen
- 43:31Speaker 2: to it. It'll be like it'll be like listening to
- 43:33Speaker 2: somebody else.
- 43:34Speaker 6: Oh yeah, well you have Chad on there and you
- 43:37Speaker 6: have a different host, different everything. So that's right where
- 43:41Speaker 6: you guys just take your head when Chad's wrong, you know.
- 43:44Speaker 6: God said that again. Yeah I miss those days.
- 43:54Speaker 4: So next week we have another episode. We should yeah, we.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Should say he's a we should see if he's available
- 44:01Speaker 2: to fill in this for Scott next week.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Oh we should yeah, yeah, that'd be hilarious, hilarious. Yes,
- 44:08Speaker 4: Steve can come out of the basement.
- 44:11Speaker 3: I see.
- 44:12Speaker 6: I like to hear his point of view, what he
- 44:14Speaker 6: thinks is Star Trek now.
- 44:15Speaker 4: After all, I imagine he loves it.
- 44:19Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, well it's just it's weird, like I'm with
- 44:23Speaker 6: it st in here that my love for starting.
- 44:27Speaker 4: I mean, he still has access to our our paramoun accounts.
- 44:30Speaker 4: I don't know if he's he's watching.
- 44:32Speaker 3: It, but he has. He's commented on a few things.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Oh that's right.
- 44:36Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, yeah, I've seen him on the Facebook. Yeah,
- 44:42Speaker 6: so occasionally.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I will say it looks more and more like
- 44:50Speaker 4: the Dexter series is exactly what they wanted to do
- 44:53Speaker 4: to Star Trek, and Dexter's pulling it off much better.
- 44:57Speaker 4: So yeah, that that's interesting.
- 45:01Speaker 6: Well, if we could finally maybe get a good show
- 45:03Speaker 6: runner or something, a good series.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Dexter.
- 45:09Speaker 4: Oh man. Yeah, So Dexter has now done three or
- 45:15Speaker 4: four different series based off one character and their whole
- 45:21Speaker 4: universe they created around him. Do you know the Dexter shows?
- 45:24Speaker 4: Are you familiar with this at all?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Is that the guy he's like a serial killer but
- 45:29Speaker 3: he's also CSI or something.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, and he and he only kills other serial killers.
- 45:34Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, so yeah, but whatever, So they're working
- 45:42Speaker 4: on their third show now, it's it's currently like Strenger
- 45:46Speaker 4: Worlds comes out on Thursday. The new Dexter comes out
- 45:48Speaker 4: on Fridays, and they have built an after show for it.
- 45:53Speaker 4: If you go on Paramount, there's like this sole Dexter
- 45:56Speaker 4: section that has all the different series. The original, they
- 46:00Speaker 4: did a prequel series and then they did a this
- 46:03Speaker 4: is like the second reboot of Dexter. Now wow, So yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 4: it's it's very much what they wanted Star Trek to be.
- 46:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Yeah, they absolutely just laid out that crown work and.
- 46:18Speaker 6: It's addicting if you watch it, Like the first probably
- 46:20Speaker 6: four or five seasons really good.
- 46:22Speaker 4: It's yeah, it's not great. There are real like the
- 46:28Speaker 4: first four seasons of the first series are amazing, yeah,
- 46:32Speaker 4: but after that it's it's yeah.
- 46:36Speaker 6: Yeah, but the John Letgal season is the best one.
- 46:39Speaker 4: So yeah, but this new season is pretty good so far.
- 46:43Speaker 4: But that's the other thing with Dexter is like they
- 46:45Speaker 4: do start out really really good and then they just
- 46:48Speaker 4: fall off a cliff.
- 46:49Speaker 3: So yeah, well sounds like I should just get involved
- 46:54Speaker 3: in that.
- 46:56Speaker 6: Exactly exactly what jumped the shark here?
- 46:59Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, oh well but when's.
- 47:05Speaker 6: The Papa episode.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Coming next year or next four years?
- 47:11Speaker 6: The Papa episode is not this season, right, yeah, season four,
- 47:16Speaker 6: so yeah, you know we'll see wait on that one, and.
- 47:21Speaker 4: We don't know if it'll be next year, because who
- 47:23Speaker 4: knows how long it'll take him to release it. I
- 47:26Speaker 4: mean it took almost three years for this season.
- 47:28Speaker 6: Well, let's just hope there's no Riders strike or anything
- 47:31Speaker 6: else in between two.
- 47:32Speaker 4: I mean, it could get back World, so yeah, there
- 47:37Speaker 4: is that chance.
- 47:39Speaker 6: Yeah, there's nothing that seriously good.
- 47:43Speaker 4: It could get back World as well.
- 47:44Speaker 6: So yeah, because I don't know if they're hurting the
- 47:47Speaker 6: name of Star Trek, they really are, I'm not gonna lie.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Well, Dan, what what did you say?
- 47:57Speaker 3: What's that?
- 47:58Speaker 6: He said? Something to hear him.
- 48:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't hear what you said.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Well you talked about uh Starfleet Academy.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Yeah, said I would be okay.
- 48:12Speaker 4: Oh yeah for sure. Yeah, unfortunately, but I want to
- 48:19Speaker 4: like it. But it does not just look good at all.
- 48:22Speaker 6: The Archer West Wing show. I guess you know where
- 48:26Speaker 6: they make it like the West Swing if he's president.
- 48:28Speaker 4: I was thinking more House of Cards. But still yeah, yeah,
- 48:32Speaker 4: some really intect like that.
- 48:38Speaker 6: Illegal drama is just in Star Trek World. Everybody wants
- 48:42Speaker 6: that because we want to see different.
- 48:43Speaker 3: That's that was great, and then just fell off a
- 48:46Speaker 3: cliff house of cards.
- 48:50Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
- 48:53Speaker 3: Think, yeah, I remember.
- 48:56Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, the first couple of seasons were
- 48:57Speaker 4: great and then just done.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Yep. Yeah they kill off camera.
- 49:03Speaker 4: Yeah, well they kind of had to, but yeah. Yeah,
- 49:09Speaker 4: all right, Well it feels like we're running towards the end.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Yep.
- 49:15Speaker 4: We'll be back next week with more and we'll see
- 49:19Speaker 4: who we bring on.
- 49:21Speaker 6: So oh beardless, that's right, we need another a stronger
- 49:27Speaker 6: beard next week.
- 49:28Speaker 4: So there you go. All right, see you guys next week.
- 49:31Speaker 4: Doctor Leon.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Bye.
- 49:33Speaker 7: This is Captain Benjamin Cisco of Deep Space nine and
