Transcript
- 0:00Tiffany: Welcome to In His Circle, where real women share real stories and discover God's faithfulness in everyday life.
- 0:08Tiffany: I'm Tiffany Winds.
- 0:10Tiffany: And I'm Heather Brigstock, and we're so glad you're here.
- 0:13Tiffany: Whether you're joining us from your kitchen table, your morning commute, or your favorite quiet place, we pray these conversations encourage your heart, strengthen your faith, and remind you that God is still writing beautiful stories every single day.
- 0:29Tiffany: So come and pull up a chair and join us in his circle.
- 0:33Tiffany: Hi Heather, how are you today?
- 0:35Tiffany: Hi Tiffany, I'm glad to be here.
- 0:38Tiffany: I am so inspired by conversations that have been happening recently, talking about women.
- 0:44Tiffany: Certainly, it goes to the root of you doing your new Bible studies, which are women of the Bible.
- 0:49Tiffany: Yes.
- 0:49Tiffany: We tend to have conversations these days about women stepping into their identity.
- 0:57Tiffany: And when we gather for these podcasts weekly, I'll sit down and say, Heather, is there anything that's on your mind?
- 1:03Tiffany: And she said, No, not really.
- 1:05Tiffany: And I'll throw some ideas out.
- 1:07Tiffany: So we started talking about this, and I said, Stop.
- 1:09Tiffany: I want to press the record button.
- 1:11Tiffany: And let's talk about this because you've brought this up in several different ways in other podcast episodes.
- 1:18Tiffany: You had talked about the woman that you were growing up, the woman before you got married, the woman after marriage, and the woman who you are now.
- 1:30Tiffany: That's still unfolding, right?
- 1:32Tiffany: There's this caterpillar to butterfly.
- 1:35Tiffany: Yes.
- 1:35Tiffany: And I'd said to you, I know you're not finished, but can you take us back in the journey of your life and try and put it into words that brings us from some topics of what you've been through to where you are today?
- 1:50Heather: Sure, absolutely.
- 1:51Heather: And like you said, when I think about where I've been and compare it to where other women might be, I do think that it's relatable.
- 1:59Heather: I'm just gonna ask the Lord to give me wisdom and let his word speak through me today.
- 2:04Heather: So there's so much more to all of our lives, but I think what we'll do is just grab some dropper fulls.
- 2:11Heather: And one of the things that we were talking about earlier and something that I've been reflecting on lately, it's made me thankful, to be honest with you.
- 2:18Heather: It's made me really thankful.
- 2:19Heather: I'm really blessed to be able to do something every single day that I love to do.
- 2:24Heather: I love my job.
- 2:26Heather: I love that we are intentionally missional.
- 2:29Heather: I love that we're community driven.
- 2:31Heather: I love that we get to embrace and develop small business.
- 2:34Heather: I just, I'm so thankful.
- 2:36Heather: I love that I get to work with my husband.
- 2:37Heather: He's my best friend, and I'm just so thankful for that.
- 2:40Heather: My family's close, so many different things.
- 2:42Heather: But when I look at and reflect sometimes on where we've been, I realize that it's not just been overnight.
- 2:48Heather: When Jeff and I first got married, we were in a much different spot.
- 2:52Heather: I would even say, and and we laugh about this, my kids laugh about this, and someday I'll tell the story of how the Lord brought us together because it's a miracle.
- 3:00Heather: It's nothing short of a miracle.
- 3:01Heather: But when Jeff and I got married December 28th of 1999, I would honestly say we barely knew each other.
- 3:07Heather: We had known of each other, and then we'd dated a few times.
- 3:12Heather: And as crazy as it sounds, he knew that he was supposed to marry me.
- 3:17Heather: I knew that I was supposed to marry him.
- 3:19Heather: And that's literally what got us down the aisle.
- 3:21Heather: I had told each other we loved each other, and I think to whatever extent and capacity that we had, we did.
- 3:27Heather: But it was more of a calling and a decision than a passion.
- 3:31Heather: And so when we got married, we embarked on this journey.
- 3:34Heather: He had been called to go to the mission field.
- 3:36Heather: He was going to Scotland.
- 3:37Heather: And I knew when I was little, I remember being eight years old and knowing that I wanted to be a missionary when I grew up.
- 3:41Heather: And so I was excited that we were going to be missionaries.
- 3:45Heather: I had one semester left of school.
- 3:46Heather: And so I moved to Louisville to the where he was, and we were finishing college up there.
- 3:52Heather: And the denomination that we were part of was extremely strict.
- 3:56Heather: And I was used to that.
- 3:57Heather: It was a very fundamental religion.
- 4:00Heather: It was a Christian religion.
- 4:01Heather: I mean, they definitely believed in the Great Commission, but there were so many other rules that went along with it.
- 4:06Heather: So what happened, Tiffany, honestly, at the beginning of our marriage was I just didn't cut the mustard at that church.
- 4:12Heather: And they told me I remember some of the things that we walked through.
- 4:16Heather: I remember I had a slit in my skirt instead of a flap.
- 4:18Heather: Well, I didn't know the difference between a slit and a flap.
- 4:21Heather: And so here I am, a married woman getting in trouble for the clothes that I wear.
- 4:25Heather: And wearing a sleeveless top was a really big deal.
- 4:28Heather: I was used as an example in a Bible class one time.
- 4:32Heather: And just funny things like that that I look back, they were hurtful.
- 4:36Heather: And I remember me trying to remake myself and always trying to be what other people wanted.
- 4:43Heather: I wanted to make the church proud.
- 4:46Heather: I wanted to make our mission board proud.
- 4:48Heather: I wanted to make Jeff proud.
- 4:49Heather: I wanted to be the missionary wife, the pastor's wife, do all the things, play the piano, teach the Bible studies, work with the kids, just do all the things that we needed to do.
- 5:01Heather: And Jeff and I traveled.
- 5:02Heather: We went on, it was called deputation to move to Scotland.
- 5:05Heather: You had to get a missionary visa, you had to prove that your financing was coming from the states.
- 5:08Heather: So we would travel, our denomination had us to travel to different churches, and they would pledge to support us once they heard our story.
- 5:15Heather: So each church that you went to was basically an interrogation, an interview to see, you know, what you believed, how you lived, and all these things.
- 5:22Heather: And the irony of it looking back now is that so many of those churches that we went to were just uh cracked and marred because we're all cracked people, right?
- 5:31Heather: I mean, we're all sinners and none of us are perfect.
- 5:34Heather: And I the longer I live, the more that I realize it, and the more I realize that I need God's grace and his mercy and his forgiveness.
- 5:41Heather: And I and I ask that the Lord would help me to look at people through that lens because I haven't arrived, other people haven't arrived.
- 5:49Heather: We're all just kind of walking along there.
- 5:51Heather: The Bible says that mercy and truth have kissed each other.
- 5:53Heather: So the truth of who we are, and then the mercy of God.
- 5:55Heather: I'm I'm thankful for that.
- 5:56Heather: Anyway, walking through that and trying to be that person, well, we end up getting to Scotland and then we start a church like that where it's super conservative and fundamental.
- 6:06Heather: And it was a great church.
- 6:08Heather: I loved living there, Scotland, and especially the first time.
- 6:11Heather: But the clothes we wore, the music that we listened to, the way that we raised our kids, we were very tunnel-visioned.
- 6:17Heather: And I just wasn't myself.
- 6:19Heather: I didn't realize it then, but kind of a sadness began to permeate my soul.
- 6:25Heather: And looking back, the shadows that were over me, it was a lot of that is not from living in a dark, wet country because Scotland was beautiful.
- 6:35Heather: A lot of it was just the oppressive lifestyle, I think, that we had stepped into and this idea of not being able to measure up.
- 6:41Heather: And I want to say, I was married to a great man.
- 6:44Heather: Jeff has always been so supportive.
- 6:46Heather: He has never looked down on me.
- 6:49Heather: He's always encouraged, always built me up, always been a great leader.
- 6:54Heather: And it hasn't been easy.
- 6:55Heather: Marriage is never easy.
- 6:57Heather: We have walked through some challenges, but we're committed to each other.
- 7:00Heather: And I love him and he loves me.
- 7:02Heather: And I wouldn't imagine, I couldn't imagine walking through life with anybody else.
- 7:05Heather: But those challenges were real.
- 7:07Heather: I remember when we came back from Scotland the second time and we landed here in Tennessee, and I got a job teaching at a school, and my circle of influence began to change a little bit.
- 7:16Heather: And the Lord started to open our eyes to the Bible, and we got away from a lot of man's doctrine, and we started being able to see things through a different perspective, through the Bible perspective, and began to learn more that our God was a God of grace.
- 7:32Heather: Yes, he's a God of structure.
- 7:33Heather: Yes, he's a God of values and principles.
- 7:36Heather: And those are things that are so important.
- 7:38Heather: We believe in a world of values.
- 7:40Heather: What's right is right and wrong is wrong.
- 7:42Heather: The Bible says that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
- 7:45Heather: All truth is God's truth.
- 7:47Heather: And we have a bedrock that we can bank on.
- 7:49Heather: Truth is there.
- 7:51Heather: There's a lot of things that were added to our life that weren't necessarily part of God's truth and the standard that we had.
- 7:58Heather: So I remember the first time that this is going to make you laugh.
- 8:02Heather: The first time that I bought a pair of slacks.
- 8:04Heather: My first pair of slacks that I bought to teach at, I got at Walmart.
- 8:07Heather: And I was certain that God was going to strike me dead when I wore them.
- 8:11Heather: But it was liberating.
- 8:12Heather: I wasn't being immodest.
- 8:13Heather: I wasn't doing anything.
- 8:14Heather: I was able to chase my first graders a little bit easier.
- 8:17Heather: And slowly and incrementally, things started to fall off that didn't need to be there.
- 8:24Heather: The music that we listened to, we never listened to music that had a drum beat because drums were wicked.
- 8:29Heather: And so being able to start to listen to good Christian music that fed our soul and our spirit, it was such a blessing.
- 8:38Heather: And I know this sounds crazy, but as that started to fall off and our horizons started to open, other things began to happen as well.
- 8:46Heather: I started kind of finding my voice and realizing as I started to teach that God had gifted me.
- 8:52Heather: I wasn't the best teacher, but I loved it.
- 8:55Heather: And the kids learned.
- 8:56Heather: We had a great time and we worked hard.
- 8:58Heather: We were diligent and parents responded well.
- 9:01Heather: And each year seemed to get a little bit better.
- 9:03Heather: And it was good.
- 9:04Heather: It built my confidence to know that with God's help, I could strive to be excellent.
- 9:10Heather: And I started to find myself.
- 9:11Heather: I started to find some security.
- 9:14Heather: And one of the challenges of that, and I just want to put this out there, is that a lot of times women will find their identity in their successes.
- 9:23Heather: And I want to be, I want to be careful and just kind of pull over and park there for a second because your value is not found in your successes.
- 9:31Heather: Just like your lack of value is not found in your failures.
- 9:34Heather: When we came back from Scotland, we had people tell us that we were failures and that we would never amount to anything.
- 9:39Heather: We'd never be able to finish anything.
- 9:41Heather: And it was devastating because these are people that you've looked up to your whole life.
- 9:45Heather: And I remember having a pastor tell that to my husband.
- 9:47Heather: And it made me so angry because I know what Jeff's made of.
- 9:51Heather: He's one of the toughest people I know.
- 9:52Heather: He is so strong and determined.
- 9:55Heather: He's laser focused.
- 9:56Heather: The man can hit a goal and a benchmark every single time.
- 10:00Heather: And to have somebody tell him that he was a failure was offensive.
- 10:03Heather: And a lot of times women will do that too.
- 10:06Heather: We'll identify ourselves.
- 10:07Heather: We'll find our identity in either our successes.
- 10:10Heather: Well, I'm a good businesswoman.
- 10:12Heather: So my value lies in how many deals I close.
- 10:15Heather: I'm a good teacher.
- 10:16Heather: So my value lies in how well my kids test, or, you know, whatever the parents think, or I'm a good coach, I'm a good athlete.
- 10:23Heather: So your value doesn't come from your successes and your just as your lack of value doesn't come from your failures.
- 10:29Heather: Our value comes from what God says you are.
- 10:32Heather: So God says that you're valuable, so valuable that he left heaven to die on a cross to buy you back.
- 10:38Heather: That's how valuable you are.
- 10:39Heather: How valuable are you?
- 10:40Heather: You're so valuable, more valuable than if you put all the wealth of the entire world on one side of the scale and you on the other, you would win.
- 10:49Heather: That's how valuable you are.
- 10:50Heather: There's no words to be able to describe it, but that's a hard concept.
- 10:55Heather: And the world doesn't want you to see that.
- 10:57Heather: The enemy doesn't want you to see that.
- 10:58Heather: He doesn't want you to see your value.
- 11:00Heather: And let me just tell you: someone that's filled with the Spirit of God is infinitely more valuable because we're unstoppable.
- 11:06Heather: Uh, we nothing can happen to you outside of God's will.
- 11:09Heather: If you die, you go to heaven.
- 11:10Heather: So that's a win.
- 11:11Heather: You are, you're unstoppable.
- 11:13Heather: So your your value is just so much.
- 11:16Heather: Having said that, I began to become more confident.
- 11:20Heather: And so we kind of fast forward to where we are now.
- 11:23Heather: And obviously, it was a series of moves and changes and things that allowed us to open our business.
- 11:29Heather: I started painting furniture.
- 11:31Heather: It always been, this is so stupid, but I never thought I was a good painter.
- 11:35Heather: Now, this might be Jeff's fault.
- 11:37Heather: So he told me I wasn't a good wall painter, and I'm not, because I kind of start in one section and then go in another section.
- 11:42Heather: So I suppose he's right about that.
- 11:43Heather: But I am good at painting furniture because you can bounce around.
- 11:47Heather: And when you distress it, then people like me with a tight B personality, it turns out okay.
- 11:52Heather: So I started painting furniture and selling them and making signs and selling those.
- 11:56Heather: And we were able to be a little bit creative, and then we started making money with it.
- 12:01Heather: Then we started seeing that there was ways that we could capitalize and help other people make money on it.
- 12:06Heather: And so began the business, along with selling furniture and home decor, being able to put things together in a house.
- 12:12Heather: I'd never really spent a lot of time at it, but we started to and realized that we had a knack for it, for paint colors and design.
- 12:21Heather: I don't know that it's necessarily that we knew what was good, it's just that we knew what was bad.
- 12:25Heather: And so we kept fixing it.
- 12:26Heather: God blessed it.
- 12:27Heather: And then our business took off.
- 12:30Heather: And we took the values and the principles of what we had in Scotland, knowing that we wanted to go across the ocean and tell a world that was lost about the love of God and be able to invest in a community that didn't even know our names.
- 12:43Heather: And we took those concepts and brought them here to Gallatin.
- 12:45Heather: And the Lord allowed us to buy the manor and claw our way forward.
- 12:50Heather: And now I'm just so thankful that we're able to build a business.
- 12:55Heather: And every single day I get to talk about the Lord and we get to invest in men and women and children in our community.
- 13:03Heather: We get to grow small business.
- 13:04Heather: And it's not because necessarily that we're super talented at it, but it's I do think that God's given us, He's wired us up a certain way.
- 13:12Heather: And I feel more like myself than I ever have before.
- 13:16Heather: And I and I do credit Jeff so much for that.
- 13:18Heather: Obviously, we give all glory to the Lord, but I am thankful for a husband that saw this dream and gave us the jet propulsion to make it happen.
- 13:27Heather: He is a driving force, such an advocate for me to be able to chase my dreams.
- 13:31Heather: We still argue about pink colors, but at the end of the day, he trusts me and I'm thankful for that.
- 13:36Heather: I'm just blessed.
- 13:37Heather: We talked about this whole idea of a caterpillar and a chrysalis and a butterfly.
- 13:41Heather: I know that I have not come completely out of my cocoon yet, but I see the colors there.
- 13:47Heather: And I'm just so thankful to a God that made us beautiful, just like he made all women beautiful.
- 13:52Heather: He's gifted you with a story to tell.
- 13:54Heather: He's gifted you with unique capabilities that only you are going to be able to show off.
- 14:00Heather: And I would say that without the power of the Holy Spirit, you'll never completely reach your magnitude of influence.
- 14:06Heather: But empowered by the Holy Spirit, you are destined for greatness.
- 14:10Heather: You're endowed with the seeds of greatness, being able to do amazing things, an amazing relative, right?
- 14:16Heather: Amazing as relative.
- 14:17Heather: It may not mean that you're the king of the world or the queen of the world, but in the sphere of influence, in the garden that God has put you in, you can be that butterfly and affect change in a powerful way.
- 14:28Tiffany: So many women get stuck in fear.
- 14:30Tiffany: They get stuck in their story, they get stuck in their grief, they get stuck in their cocoon.
- 14:35Tiffany: It's God that helps us in each of those steps and helps release us from all of that.
- 14:41Tiffany: And it's so important that we recognize that to allow us to be unstuck in our growth.
- 14:49Tiffany: We tend to judge ourselves by other women, right?
- 14:52Tiffany: So when I was in my early 20s, started in my corporate career, and it's like, okay, I'm gonna build this, this, this, and that.
- 14:59Tiffany: Yeah, not even thinking about where I'd be now in my 70s.
- 15:03Tiffany: Yes.
- 15:03Tiffany: And feeling like I'm just starting with so many new things.
- 15:06Tiffany: So don't worry about if you didn't hit some sort of mark that you thought you were supposed to have in your 20s or your 30s or your 40s or your 50s.
- 15:15Heather: Yes, that is so powerful.
- 15:17Heather: I love that you said that, especially in the world that we live in.
- 15:20Heather: The comparison game is devastating.
- 15:23Heather: And it's one of the devil's biggest tricks.
- 15:24Heather: I am convinced because if he can get us focused on the people that are on either side of us, I remember on field day, we would run the 50-yard dash.
- 15:33Heather: And every year on field day, Jeff would get down in front of the boys and he would say, Don't look at the people beside you.
- 15:42Heather: Just focus on the finish line.
- 15:44Heather: Because invariably the kids would look side to side.
- 15:47Heather: And as soon as you do, your feet start to go the direction that you're looking and it slows you down.
- 15:52Heather: And it's two steps off, but you're not going to finish.
- 15:54Heather: And that is the calling that we have.
- 15:56Heather: We are not to compare ourselves with Mary or Jane or Sue or Kim or whatever they're doing.
- 16:02Heather: Who cares?
- 16:03Heather: That's what Jesus said to Peter.
- 16:04Heather: What is that to thee?
- 16:05Heather: Follow thou me.
- 16:07Heather: Jesus was risen from the grave, they're sitting on the beach side, and Jesus is talking to Peter and John.
- 16:13Heather: And Peter's like, Well, what about him?
- 16:15Heather: God, I'm going to be crucified upside down, but what about John?
- 16:18Heather: And Jesus is like, Don't worry about John.
- 16:20Heather: It's not your job to worry about John.
- 16:23Heather: It's not my job to worry about my friends or anything else.
- 16:26Heather: It's my job to focus on the step I have in front of me, to work as hard as I can, to give God the glory, to focus on him, and then do it again tomorrow.
- 16:34Heather: And I love that because the comparison game will cripple you.
- 16:37Heather: This the other thing that you said, Tiffany, that I think is really powerful is the hurt that people allow to cripple them.
- 16:43Heather: And this is one thing I've talked to so many women.
- 16:46Heather: And I think this is a defining challenge, a defining point for so many women.
- 16:51Heather: Here's the deal everybody has their hard.
- 16:54Heather: We live in a sinful, fallen world.
- 16:58Heather: So if you're breathing, you're going to have your heart.
- 17:02Heather: And that may come in the form of a sick child or a sick parent, or maybe you're sick yourself.
- 17:09Heather: It may be financial challenges, a handicap, a disability of some kind.
- 17:14Heather: It may be a number of different things.
- 17:17Heather: But without fail, you will have your heart.
- 17:19Heather: It could be a divorce, a death.
- 17:22Heather: I don't know.
- 17:23Heather: And I am just as sorry as I can be.
- 17:25Heather: My heart breaks because I hear about the hearts every single day.
- 17:28Heather: Our prayer wall is filled with them.
- 17:30Heather: But here is the challenge and the opportunity.
- 17:32Heather: You look at some people and how they're able to take that and use it.
- 17:37Heather: You can use your heart as a crutch and you can have it help you walk limp through life.
- 17:44Heather: Or you can use your heart as a catapult and you can take that and let it propel you forward.
- 17:51Heather: And what you do with it is no one else's decision except for yours.
- 17:54Heather: No one is going to be able to utilize that and change the, change the fate of your future besides you.
- 18:00Heather: Really quickly, there's a story.
- 18:01Heather: Two men, one man was living on the side of the road, and someone went up and interviewed him, and he's he was homeless and he had lost his family, he'd lost his job, he'd lost everything.
- 18:13Heather: And he was living there on the side of the road, and they went up to him and they said, What do you attribute this to?
- 18:19Heather: And he looked at him and he said, You know what?
- 18:21Heather: Growing up, my father was an alcoholic.
- 18:23Heather: He hit my mom, he abused me.
- 18:25Heather: I had no choice but to end up this way.
- 18:27Heather: The second man was extremely successful, running his business, had a wonderful family, investing in the community, making a difference for eternity.
- 18:35Heather: And they spoke to him and they said, What do you attribute this great success to?
- 18:40Heather: And he said, You know, when I was growing up, my dad was an alcoholic.
- 18:43Heather: He hit my mom, he abused me.
- 18:45Heather: I had no choice but to turn out this way.
- 18:47Heather: And so say we all.
- 18:49Heather: But I hate it that you've had hardship.
- 18:51Heather: And I'm not discounting your pain at all.
- 18:55Heather: But I'm also saying, don't let it define you.
- 18:58Heather: Use it to go forward and allow the Lord to give you beauty for ashes in your life, the oil of joy instead of the oil for mourning, and see what God can create with a heart that is surrendered to Him.
- 19:13Heather: Bring your heart, lay it on the altar, and ask God to remake those ashes into something beautiful.
- 19:19Heather: I believe in a God that will.
- 19:21Heather: He is not confused and he hasn't forgotten you.
- 19:24Tiffany: You know what's really changed for me here in Tennessee and coming to Southwater Manor is that I am surrounding myself with women who love the Lord.
- 19:33Tiffany: And it is so different when you experience life that way.
- 19:38Heather: I agree with you.
- 19:38Heather: The Bible says evil companions corrupt good manners.
- 19:42Heather: So we're supposed to have our boat in the water, but not water in the boat.
- 19:45Heather: The concept is that we're in the world but not of the world.
- 19:48Heather: So we don't isolate ourselves.
- 19:50Heather: But the people that are gonna feed us, give us motivation to go forward, help us see our value, empower us to be better.
- 19:59Heather: The closest circle of people should share our closest values.
- 20:04Heather: And there's no greater value than being sisters in Christ and serving the same God, knowing that God is our Father and that we have an eternal purpose that supersedes our day-to-day purpose.
- 20:15Heather: Dinner is important and bedtime is important, and all of those things are part of the routine.
- 20:20Heather: But our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God.
- 20:23Heather: And so when we're surrounded by people that share that goal, it drives us, it sharpens us and it motivates us to be better, push harder, and strive more to see how we can take this sphere of influence and effect greater change for his glory, knowing that our time is short and knowing that we're called to do great things.
- 20:41Heather: How can we do that together?
- 20:43Heather: I love that.
- 20:43Heather: And you've done that for us, Tiffany.
- 20:45Heather: You've in a thousand different ways.
- 20:46Heather: You have motivated us and pushed us.
- 20:48Heather: God's given you a vision and he's brought you here to help us to be better.
- 20:52Heather: And so I definitely see that.
- 20:53Heather: I'm so thankful for you.
- 20:55Tiffany: I look back on the last two and a half years and looking at you and your entire family, who I adore, Jeff, I adore, and your children, I adore, just to see the growth that we've all gone through, through the experience of talking about what's next for Southwater Manor.
- 21:11Tiffany: And so I love that you and your family have embraced me and my ideas.
- 21:17Tiffany: And I love you for that.
- 21:20Heather: You're a blessing.
- 21:20Heather: I'm thankful.
- 21:21Heather: I'm so thankful.
- 21:22Heather: We wouldn't be where we were today if it wasn't for you.
- 21:24Heather: God sent you to us from California.
- 21:25Heather: I'm confident.
- 21:27Tiffany: Well, thank you for tackling this topic.
- 21:30Tiffany: Surround yourself with women who are going to help you grow, who are going to help you hatch out of your cocoon.
- 21:37Tiffany: Yeah.
- 21:37Tiffany: And that you will all continue to grow together because God doesn't stop us at one particular point.
- 21:44Tiffany: We're constantly growing.
- 21:45Tiffany: He has so much more for all of us.
- 21:47Tiffany: And keep that in mind as you're developing new friendships and healing old wounds.
- 21:53Tiffany: Amen.
- 21:53Tiffany: Thanks, Heather.
- 21:55Tiffany: Thank you, Tiffany.
- 21:56Tiffany: If today's conversation encouraged your heart, I'd love to invite you to join our growing community over on inhiscircle.substack.com.
- 22:08Tiffany: That's where you'll find articles, seedlings, devotionals, podcast episodes, and a community of women encouraging one another as we walk with Jesus.
- 22:18Tiffany: And if you know a woman who needs to hear that God can use her without requiring her to have it all together, would you share this episode with her?
- 22:27Tiffany: Sometimes we all need the reminder that courage doesn't require perfection.
- 22:32Tiffany: Until next time, keep spending time in God's Word, keep listening for his voice, and keep taking that next faithful step because we're all learning to walk faithfully one step at a time.
- 22:44Tiffany: May God's peace guard your heart, may his word strengthen your spirit, and may you always remember you have a place here in his circle.
- 22:53Tiffany: I'm Tiffany Windsor, and I'm Heather Brickstock.
- 22:57Tiffany: We'll see you next time.
