- 1:10show. Info Dallas Dashcomedyclub dot com. Congratulations, not only have you made
- 1:19it into the Treehouse, but you've made it to fred day. And I
- 1:25guess Raj has graduated from no background while recording the show to is that a
- 1:34stuffed cow over your shoulder? Yes, that's that's what they That's what they
- 1:38give Hindu kids at birth. It just says, it just says, It
- 1:44just means, It just means Grandpa misses you. It is. It is
- 1:49amazing how that cow no matter, hang on, let me see Okay,
- 1:53don't move your head, Rose, let me look over here in the second,
- 1:56here go back over here, we go back. Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:00his eyes are looking right into your camera, therefore following me everywhere. Yep.
- 2:07Yeah, that's a creepy as it's I'm I'm in Houston at the moment.
- 2:14I went to watch my friends at a e W wrestling last night and
- 2:20saw them and did they suit plex you into a child's bedroom? Yeah,
- 2:27it's kind of what it looks at a teddy So over your right shoulder,
- 2:30you've got a plush cow. And over your left shoulder, is that a
- 2:32teddy bear shoved in the corner. There's multiple teddy bears up there. You
- 2:37can't see that one can nor down down in the middle shelf. It's yeah
- 2:40right there, yep, I'm sure. And then there's that looks a little
- 2:46bit like a miniature Teddy Rucksman, I had one of those. There's a
- 2:50pumpkin with with glasses. Uh and why are you in a child's room?
- 2:57Well, it's I'm gonna need a solid explanation on this because I've still got
- 3:00some fresh wounds PTSD. I just Robert Downey Junior last night. No,
- 3:09this is the spare room in my girlfriend's sister's house. There's also the book
- 3:15that they gave me to read. I don't know if you can see that
- 3:17you have a superpower Mindy Pie meets Ezekiel and Chiara We Don't Understand Racism,
- 3:28which I thought was a great book for them to give me. I'm like,
- 3:31you guys are very white and I understand. Well, I'm glad.
- 3:39I'm glad you made it into the tree house. It seems odd that you
- 3:44seem to have been relegated to adult time out into a children's room. But
- 3:47let's yeah, this is this is the spare bedroom. So they moved so
- 3:52LJ. My my girlfriend's nephew, is is twenty one. He's in college,
- 3:54so he's got his own room. And then they all the kids stuff
- 3:59from one he was growing up has moved into this room. So there's all
- 4:01of the you can't even see what I'm like. This is. I'm my
- 4:04microphone is stated on top of legos. I'm like like like a school desk
- 4:11for five year olders. No, I'm sitting on a chair. Then there's
- 4:14a bar chair in front of me. That's what the laptops on. Then
- 4:15the mic is actually being held up by books, and then what's on the
- 4:19books that are on top of a crate of w W and ae W action
- 4:25figures, and then the next crate after that is every lego possible. So
- 4:31it really is a great example of you never know the struggle that someone is
- 4:36going through when you only see this much of their life, when you only
- 4:45see what they show you, you don't know their real struggle. Yes,
- 4:48well, I'm glad you made it, and I think you should. I
- 4:55kind of think you should take that cow with you. And yeah, yep,
- 5:00he still followed me. Yeah. Now it's creeping me out because now
- 5:09I see it. Yeah. So that but we're here and we're good,
- 5:14so good. Today is of course, Friday number eight episode here in the
- 5:18Treehouse, so we appreciate you joining us for that. There are a couple
- 5:23items that we need to discuss before moving on to the day's major activities,
- 5:28which is of course, birthdays and some crazy ass news stories. The first
- 5:32of which is, Trey, how are you feeling? Because you were under
- 5:36the weather when it was time for us to record the Treehouse Football Podcast,
- 5:41so Raj and I did that, just the two of us, but we
- 5:43missed you. How are you feeling much better? Yeah, I've woke up.
- 5:49I had gone to bed with a headache, woke up and taking some
- 5:55advill PM. At first I thought of it. I was having some kind
- 5:57of reaction to that, and then got in the shower my eyes and nearly
- 6:00collapsed. And then I realized my equilibriums might be a little off and had
- 6:04an air infection, but probably probably got on some antibiotics and feel much better
- 6:10today. So in addition to the antibiotics, does that mean it's about time
- 6:13to get you one of those silver handrails for your shower? I? Yes,
- 6:17it very well. Maybe you do you have stairs so we can get
- 6:21like the chair lift thing? That would be yeah, I actually that was
- 6:26I had to I was so bad. I had to put I have a
- 6:29little I bought something when I thought I was gonna have to have surgery.
- 6:31And I have this little like papoose that I put Daisy in to carry her
- 6:35down the stairs. And I actually put her in one of those because I
- 6:39was so wobbly. I didn't want to carry her. Oh wow, okay,
- 6:42Well I was gonna make jokes, but I'm glad you're better left handy,
- 6:48and I'm Daisy the chwaller is is not injured as well. So one
- 6:54of the major things that we discussed in the football podcast, which we have
- 6:58not listened to that please do Treehouse on air dot com the Football Podcast number
- 7:02six or something. Obviously we talked about, you know, the Cowboys winning
- 7:05Monday Night. Yeah, everybody feels good going into the Bible. But the
- 7:09main thing we discussed, and then I'm really curious about Trey, is how
- 7:14how many crayons in the crayon box did you have as a child. I
- 7:21remember the big box that had like forty eight see m h and then money.
- 7:27Then you'd have the small box. Yeah, and the starter, like
- 7:31the one that everyone got at first was the eight that was like the eight
- 7:35or twelve. Yeah, that's it was eight, okay. And then so
- 7:41I ended up peaking at sixty four thinking I had you know, I had
- 7:45made the big time. But then you know, some other rich kids showed
- 7:47up and they had like the one that had like one hundred and twenty or
- 7:49something. No, I peaked. I think my parents realized early on that
- 7:55drawing was not my thing. I couldn't even stay in the lines. So
- 8:00I think I peaked with a Crayola marker set, probably sometime second third grade,
- 8:05and then after that it was just a waste of money. Yeah,
- 8:09so I think I peaked at sixty four. RAJ, what was your your
- 8:13biggest Crayola box? Sixteen? Sixteen? RAJ peaked at sixteen? I'm sorry,
- 8:18yeah, I see. I was curious about Trey because Trey has a
- 8:22childhood of two locations. One was Highland Park, which is very affluent,
- 8:26and the other is Leonard, Texas, which is very rural. So I
- 8:31wondered if Trey started out like one of the kids that had one hundred and
- 8:35twenty something crayon kit, but then when he went to go live with his
- 8:37dad and Leonard, Texas, they basically put him in front of a bathtub
- 8:41and with wax and said you're gonna have to make your own now, as
- 8:50Belt was supervising, Yeah, or Trey would have to sit on the porch
- 8:54and whittle his own He made his own map pencils. Dan envisions my transition
- 9:01from Highland Park to Leonard, like I can't remember, there was an old
- 9:05TV show where the guy was like, you know, No, he was
- 9:09like stripped of his rank and everything, and he had been kicked out of
- 9:11the base. It was like a Cowboys and Indians thing, you know.
- 9:16It's like you get stripped of your legos and your polo and you're, you
- 9:18know, leaving Holland Park. So what was your name? Dances with Crayons?
- 9:26This is my friend, Burnt Sienna. I don't think you're supposed to
- 9:31refer to them. I just like when when Dan mentions you going to Leonard,
- 9:37it's like Wizard of Oz just goes to black and white from color.
- 9:41That's not far from the truth. I mean it was. It was great
- 9:45culture shock to go from from Island Park to Leonard, Texas. Yeah,
- 9:50the man you are today, Uh huh, we have to make a road.
- 9:54I want to go to Leonards. I went. I did. I've
- 9:56always wanted to do this, and I'm sure you guys have seen it before.
- 9:58When you're going down the highway here in Texas, they have those little
- 10:01roadside saloons and little bars that you see and you're like, I wonder who's
- 10:07in there. Well I did that yesterday. I went. I went into
- 10:09one. I was in Rosenberg, Texas for the aw match and got there
- 10:16early and I had about an hour and a half to kill and I found
- 10:20this place called The Bohemian in Tavern, and I said, let me go
- 10:26in and I part and I saw another person of color, and I went,
- 10:31okay, I think this will be all right. Safety and numbers.
- 10:35Well there was just one of them and me, so I'm like, there's
- 10:39safety in number and he was outside and I didn't. I didn't equate that.
- 10:45And then I went inside. And the first thought when everybody stopped what
- 10:50they were doing and turned if, I felt like I was in lenyard.
- 10:54Everybody stopped and was like, who is this? And I out loud,
- 11:00I think I'm messing up your meeting. Hey, clad, They don't typically
- 11:09come to us. This is weird. Did you order this on Uber Eats?
- 11:18Yeah? And then I walked up to the bar and I said,
- 11:22have a diet coke and she goes with what And I was like, I
- 11:26just want to die coke? Uh? And she very reluctantly uh. Play.
- 11:31She wouldn't touch my hand. She just placed it on the mat and
- 11:35then walked away forever, like I never never talked to that bartender again.
- 11:39I just I'm kind of surprised you got the diet coke at all. Yeah,
- 11:43And I was right around the corner from the venue. I was like,
- 11:45you guys have been lovely people. Thank you for your hospitality. I'm
- 11:50gonna walk out of these double saloon doors out in the daylight before the cross
- 11:54lighting starts. I'm gonna go get well. Speaking of walking into emergencies,
- 12:01the other the other line item I wanted to get to before we jump into
- 12:05U birthdays today. Let me backtracked this. I obviously I missed the football
- 12:11show, but that was the big points of crayons. Yes, correct,
- 12:16what Okay? It came up. We were curious. It's like, you
- 12:20know, that's that's that's how that's how much winning makes you feel good is
- 12:24you don't have to worry about all the nuances of you know, the red
- 12:28zone efficiency or you know, turnover differentials, or the fact that you know,
- 12:33the the Eagles lost to the Jets or the forty nine ers lost to
- 12:37Cleveland. It made we felt so good going into the bye week that we
- 12:41that somehow how many crayons we grew up with came into the mix. Yes,
- 12:48I love delusion as much as the next man. Let's go with it.

- 13:54Let's say hi to our friend Rodney Anderson. Get him into the treehouse
- 13:56now his phone number nine seven two D two hundred, his website Rodney Anderson
- 14:01dot com. So, Rodney, I know that it's kind of a weird
- 14:05housing market right now, but I'm wondering if you can give us a few
- 14:07reasons as to why people are moving right now. Well, Number one,
- 14:13gas and tolls. Many people are being called back to the office and they're
- 14:16spending a ton of money on gas and tolls just to get back to the
- 14:22office. And which couples with mental health. I had a client just yesterday
- 14:26close on a home dan they lived and prosper They worked downtown and it was
- 14:31taken an hour and a half to two hours one way commute. They had
- 14:35young children, So imagine that you got a job, you got young children,
- 14:41you can't get home very quickly. And they said the mental health was
- 14:43really taking a toll. On number two or number three, people are moving
- 14:50because their child gets relocated to another school or schools get rezoned. And then
- 14:54number number three is you're talking about jobs. A lot of people are afty
- 15:00new jobs or taking other jobs in that new job, maybe thirty forty five
- 15:03miles away from where you were before. So those are the major three reasons
- 15:07why people are moving, But there's a whole host of reasons why people are
- 15:11moving. Number One, get pre approved with us up front. Why is
- 15:15that so important? Because Number one, you got to make sure that you
- 15:18know how much you can qualify for what those payments are going to look like,
- 15:22what the current interest rate environment's going to go, What the current interest
- 15:26rate y'ad damn, it's okay. Just set right there, you're good.
- 15:30What the current interest rate environment looks like, and just more importantly, can
- 15:35I afford this house? And does that monthly payment fit into my budget?
- 15:37Give them a call and they can help you through whatever your situation is.
- 15:41If you need to jump into that housing market, or if you just want
- 15:43to nine seven two nine eight five fifty two hundred nine seven two nine eight

- 18:04dot com And honestly, Trey, I don't remember exactly how it came up
- 18:10with the crayon thing, but we just kind of went with it and makes
- 18:14sense to me. Mm hmmm. I don't know how we're just I think
- 18:18we're just talking about colors. And I was good with everything until burnt okra.
- 18:25Yeah, like I didn't know what I didn't know. I thought that
- 18:27was just brown, but it was burnt burnt okra. And then then you
- 18:32had the siennas, and then you had the moths and the topes, and
- 18:36yeah, uh so I didn't That was how. That was how we learned,
- 18:40you know, synonyms for different colors in some cases, what seemed like
- 18:45the wrong name for some colors. I did look up, by the way,
- 18:48because I was curious, there is a bucket or is it a a
- 18:56Here's so you can get one hundred and fifty crayons. Now it's called the
- 18:59Tellus Oping crayon Tower with one hundred and fifty colors, no duplicates. Wow,
- 19:06And it looks like you can also get the two hundred and this seems
- 19:10to be the big Mamajama, the two hundred forty count crayon tub tub two
- 19:17hundred and forty crayons, but it's one hundred and twenty colors with duplicates.
- 19:22Gotcha, okay in case you know you run through them. Yeah, well,
- 19:27sometimes you need a mob in each hand. I don't. Yeah,
- 19:34that's a that's a okay, that's a lot. I just went from that
- 19:37that box and then to Matt Pencils, and then that was it. There
- 19:41was no crayons after that. It was it was draw or mess up.
- 19:45So that was that was kind of I mainly like I tried drawing and then
- 19:49realized pretty quickly I was terrible at it. So I skipped ahead to Tracy
- 19:59and speaking of things staying between the lines. So the new thing that's happening
- 20:03right now is a late appearance by a what is now tropical storm Tammy,
- 20:11who is bearing down on the Leeward Island, which is where I live,
- 20:15and we're keeping our eye on that, so it still seems possible that I
- 20:22could. I guess what I'm trying to say is, even though the Cowboys
- 20:25aren't playing this week, there's still an opportunity for me to cry. And
- 20:29it might be from tropical Storm Tammy hitting us directly. The good news?
- 20:33What is it? Rush? Do you guys just not understand? Like God
- 20:36doesn't want you either, Like I don't understand, Like it's Florida and you
- 20:38guys like that's all it is. You know, it's really not that bad.
- 20:42Okay. The good thing with hurricanes is they let you know they're coming
- 20:47downside. Like in North Texas. You know, is when tornadoes happen,
- 20:51you don't typically get a heads up for more than five minutes. Yeah,
- 20:55that's all, that's all. I'm good. It's just a siren goes off
- 20:59and you have to find some some shelter, that's what. But this is
- 21:00God going hey leave no. In Dan's defense, I want you here like
- 21:04Florida the guy you know, the bearded guy and Daisy Duke smoking meth with
- 21:11a pistol. Is that what really should tell you you don't want to live
- 21:12in Florida. Yes, and the islands. Dan lives at paradise, like
- 21:18it would take a lot to go. Maybe we shouldn't be here. Yeah,
- 21:23guy from Florida shows up. Then maybe if the meth guy from Florida
- 21:29gets swept up and lands on your island, that's God going please leave.
- 21:33Luckily the winds don't work that way. He'll end up somewhere in Ottawa.
- 21:38Then it'll be Canada's problem. That would be the motto for Florida, Florida,
- 21:45Canada's problem. It is. It is really interesting though, watching these
- 21:49storm tracks, uh since having moved to the Caribbean, because they you know,
- 21:53they start off the coast of Africa, they make their way across the
- 21:56Atlantic, and you see all these models and storm tracks and forecast and where
- 22:00they may go, where they might go. And right now, the current
- 22:06heading for tropical Storm Tammy is she looks like she's going to right before she
- 22:12gets to us. She looks like she's gonna turn north and miss us completely,
- 22:18sort of like a sort of like a door dash deliverer. So I
- 22:23hope that model comes to Fruition. Yeah, but if you don't hear from
- 22:27me as much over the weekend, and that's that's gonna be. Why Tropical
- 22:32Storm Tammy does she come? Does she come with marble one hundreds? I
- 22:36don't know. But what you gotta hope for, though, is if it
- 22:41does come through Florida, takes Florida, man up you know, up north.
- 22:45Yeah, all of a sudden, you give you know, the Curse
- 22:48of Oak Island a whole new avenue. We don't have the basis right now.
- 23:00Oak Island. His Bigfoot on Oak Island? Now? Is that where
- 23:03he is? Is that where he lives? Actually, what will happen is
- 23:07they'll find Bigfoot and he'll join the Oak Island team finding Bigfoot's treasure. I
- 23:15know I've put it somewhere because Bigfoot was around when they were there, so
- 23:18he knows where the big treasure is. Never wanted to dick punch you more
- 23:22in my life. That is the collaboration no one asked. All right,
- 23:30Today is fred Day, October twentieth, twenty twenty three birthdays today. There's
- 23:37not many of them, so that's good, But there are some really good
- 23:40ones. Victoria's Secret Angel I guess former now because I don't think they have
- 23:44the Victoria's Secret Angels anymore Candice swing Pole is thirty five today. Jack John
- 23:52Krasinski, oh yeah, best known as Jim on The Office, has grown
- 23:57into quite a career. You have not seen the Quiet Place movies. I
- 24:02highly recommend those, even the sequel, but the first one is phenomenal.
- 24:06John Krazinsky, he turns forty four today, and I think, and I
- 24:10think one of the more enjoyable Jack Ryans. Yes, absolutely, and I
- 24:15think he's supposed to be Read It Read Richards and Fantastic Four. Well he
- 24:21already was read Reachers Read Richards, not in Fantastic Four, but in Doctor
- 24:26Strange and The Multiversal Wholeness because in another universe he shows up as read Richards
- 24:33and then got promptly eradicated by Wanda. But I think it was announced because
- 24:38they just did an announcement that he is, because they were talking about the
- 24:42guys at Adam Driver who is from Star with the last three Star Wars,
- 24:48that he might do it. But then it seems like it's Krasinsky, which
- 24:52I think he'll be really good at because God, they've had two runs at
- 24:56the Fantastic four and screwed both of them up. Well, the first the
- 25:00first ones, you know, weren't bad. I mean, they had a
- 25:02sequel and it was okay, don't make that face rush, Okay, this
- 25:06is the next one was bad. Okay, when they tried to reboot it,
- 25:11that was bad. The first ones that they did, those are okay.
- 25:15That was that was in Marvel's infancy and it was a new thing.
- 25:18And now they've they've got a formula and they probably got it, you know,
- 25:21figured out. Now you think, hey, let's make the hot one
- 25:23of the hottest women in the world, the invisible woman. Let's do that.
- 25:26Let's let's make that in the fantastic fourth Well maybe not the direction I
- 25:30would have taken. She's so hot, let's no one look at her.
- 25:40John Krasinski forty four And by the way, I'm not sure if you knew
- 25:42this straight. He was actually in the running to be Captain America and it
- 25:47was it was I don't know if it was down to him and Chris Evans,
- 25:49but he made at least the top five, and it was very,
- 25:52very possible he would have been Captain America, but they ended up going Chris
- 25:56Evans. I think it worked out for everybody, though, Yeah, yeah,
- 25:59uh Snoop Dogg is fifty two today. Yeah, I got high boy
- 26:03you saying that, and it really is amazing though. I mean, if
- 26:11you remember back in the in the nineties, you know when he came out
- 26:14and then and he was on trial for murder, you know, and it
- 26:18was I think his name is Calvin Broadus, is that is Calvin Brods.
- 26:22Yeah, and you know he was this big scary game and now you know
- 26:26he's best. He's with Martha Stewart. I mean, you want to talk
- 26:29about a career that has really run the gamut that isn't impressive. He coaches
- 26:33peewee football and stone the whole time. Yep. Yeah. And he's not
- 26:41the only one. I mean, you've got ice Cube. We started out
- 26:44similarly with you know, gangster rap and everything, and now he's done you
- 26:48know, family comedy movies and things. I will tell you he's still It
- 26:52was a weird track for about three weeks. I ran into him four times
- 26:57in three weeks at the same CBS in Los Angeles in Ice camber Snoop Dogg,
- 27:03Ice Cube, and to the point where at the last time I was
- 27:06like, what's up Cube, and he just did the head like the bro
- 27:08nod. Because we've seen each other that many times. Uh, he's still
- 27:12very scary. I'm just f YI, like he's still very scary dude,
- 27:17even when he even when he gives you the acknowledgment head nod. Yeah.
- 27:19One was like he was in I parked to go to the CVS and he
- 27:23was in his car. That was the third time and I just kind of
- 27:26looked over and still got the bro nod, like he knew who I were,
- 27:29Like why are we at the same CVS all the time? Like who
- 27:32are you? Yeah? I wasn't pictures are asking for autographs. But then
- 27:36he came in with his son to do some late night grocery shopping. At
- 27:41the scene, I think the main thing you got to watch out for is
- 27:44the direction of the head tilt, like when you get the what's up,
- 27:45like the when the head goes up, that's friendly, but if it goes
- 27:49down, yeah, that's it's it's about to be a bad day for you.
- 27:53Yeah. Uh. And he walked in and it was still like you
- 27:56can tell everybody and it's a very nice neighbor in Sherman Oaks and you know,
- 28:00and he just kind of walked in and everybody's like, please leave that
- 28:03man alone, Like and just kind of went on their way and did other
- 28:07stuff, like nobody tried to get an autograph. No, we're trying to
- 28:10take a picture. Nothing. Why is everybody afraid? Haven't they seen him
- 28:11in RV? Yeah? But you know when you when you have to,
- 28:15when you write a lyric of today, I didn't have to use my AK.
- 28:18You stay away from that guy. He wrote that from the heart.
- 28:23He also wrote that in the nineties. I don't think he's had to use
- 28:26his AK since the late eighties, I don't. I don't think they go
- 28:29out of style, Like I don't know how No, No, I watched
- 28:32the news. Aks are still very much in style. Yeah, I don't
- 28:37know how well weapons work, but I'm thinking he still got his. It's
- 28:41like he's a bike. Yeah. It really is a magical moment when a
- 28:53father teaches his son how to use his first ak as he sends him down
- 28:59the street, a little tear down, don't get caught in across fire.
- 29:12And then on is it Sunday? It is Sunday and our very own Ras
- 29:18Sharma, his birthday is on Sunday. Yeah, forty eight years old.
- 29:26Oh my god, you're so old. You're a pup. My thirty year.
- 29:30My thirty year high school reunion was two weeks ago. Was it really,
- 29:34Oh, we need to talk about that. No, I didn't go.
- 29:37I didn't Mine's Mine's coming up. Mine's coming I'm going to write that
- 29:40down for the next for the next Treehouse podcast episode. Yeah, I didn't
- 29:44go to mine. I was like, and neither did the rest of my
- 29:45class. So it's good to know. So what you're saying is you're going
- 29:52to have more people at your birthday party than went to your high school reunion.
- 29:56There's more people that have Actually, there's three times more people have tickets
- 30:00to my show Sunday then actually went to my high school reunion. That is
- 30:03a hell of a mic drop that you could have used at the reunion.
- 30:11You're in the tree House. Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com. Let's
- 30:22get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into the tree House now for some
- 30:27very helpful advice on your roof eight three to three Cook DFW the website,
- 30:33cookdfw dot com. I'm inspired by National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and I love the
- 30:38scene when Clark is on the house and he's stapling the lights to it and
- 30:42everything. And to be honest with you, that's what I did on my
- 30:45house in Carlton. When it came time to put on the lights, I
- 30:48was on the roof stapling away doing my best Clark Griswold, is that the
- 30:53right method or should I have not been doing that? Dan? I mean,
- 30:59I think it depends on how you want your house to be after the
- 31:03lights come off. So I mean, imagine if you put ten thousand little
- 31:07holes into your roof, you might have some water problems later down the road.
- 31:11So we would highly recommend not using staples on the roof. So but
- 31:18personally, though, this is a big deal. We see this every year
- 31:21and it's always after the holiday season, right, so we always get these
- 31:23calls. I've got some leaks coming around my side of my home or around
- 31:26the edges of my walls something like that, because people have done their perimeter
- 31:32lights around their eaves and their and their rakes and everything, and they've sometimes
- 31:36stapled or even I've seen them nailed, you know, holders in place,
- 31:41brackets, all kinds of stuff, and it's like you understand, when you
- 31:47take that out, you're leaving a hole or penetration is what it's called in
- 31:51the decking and into the shingle, and so water can get into those and
- 31:55will cause problem. Be very mindful how you're going to be installing those items.
- 31:59I guess makes sense. I should have known better than to turn my
- 32:01roof into Swiss cheese. And also, you know you want to make sure
- 32:05that the house is plenty supported for when Santa and the reindeer land on it.
- 32:09You don't want Santa crashing into the living room from the roof. So
- 32:13give our guys at COOKDFL Roofing and Restoration to call in case you've been stapling
- 32:16for years. Let them come out and see how badly you have damaged it,
- 32:21and then they can help you fix it from there. Eight three three
- 32:22cook DFW or cookdfw dot com us its online that treehouse on air dot com.
- 32:30Let's get Jaqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the tree house now the phone number
- 32:34two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. If you find yourself
- 32:37in the situation like I'm in right now, where I'm under contract to sell
- 32:40my home in Dallas, you want someone on your side who will absolutely scare
- 32:45the Bejesus out of the other side's real estate agent. And that's kind of
- 32:50what you've done, Jaqueline. Good job. Yeah, they came to you
- 32:52and they said, hey, there's a sewer leak, and I said,
- 32:54I would love to know how they know that. The only way to really
- 32:58really know in this case would be to get in the crawl space, lay
- 33:00on your back, and have somebody upstairs on ground level running all the fixtures
- 33:05invert visually identifying a leak. But I just had Oliver at your house.
- 33:09We know it wasn't leaking, and I'm one hundred percent all about calling the
- 33:14bluff. We'd love to know where your party is identifying the leaks at.
- 33:16Even more, we'd like pictures, and I'd like to know their license number,
- 33:20because I one hundred percent think that it's just like a handyman or a
- 33:23general contractor throwing things out there to drive the price down. Again, that's
- 33:28that's their problem, not yours. If they don't like the price, they
- 33:30shouldn't have made an offer at the price that they were willing to go to.
- 33:34They're looking to pigeonhole you into bringing the price tag down, And as
- 33:37far as plumbing goes, we're not going to allow that to happen. And
- 33:39as my understanding goes, Daniel Cook is not going to allow that to happen
- 33:43on your roof either. You want good people on your side when it comes
- 33:45to a real estate transaction, whether you're the buyer or the seller, So
- 33:50you contact Brooks Plumbing and you will have the best taking care of you.

- 36:00it, which I'm sure will be interesting out there. So that all being
- 36:07said, we need to find out what's happening around the world, all right.
- 36:15Today is October twentieth, twenty twenty three. It is again Friday,
- 36:19So glad you made it. Have you guys heard about the brunch tax that's
- 36:27happening in the Bay Area. No, it's not really a tax for everybody.
- 36:31It's more than for a specific group. Bay Area restaurants have instituted a
- 36:37penalty for brunch vomitters. Yes, you could just say white claw drinkers,
- 36:45but whatever you want to call it. How many white claws does it take
- 36:51before you vomit? Thirty three thirty three. Since the pandemic, area diners
- 37:00are finding or a Bay Area restaurants are finding that diners, often ones in
- 37:04their early to mid twenties, are drinking too much and vomiting in the bathrooms
- 37:07or even right on their tables. Yes they classy San Francisco. Uh huh,
- 37:15oh man. The burden on servers and staff to clean up after these
- 37:19public pukers is reaching a fever pitch, making it necessary for restaurants to take
- 37:22precautions and implement fees. The cleaning fee will be fifty dollars if you throw
- 37:30up at the restaurant after drinking too many mimosas. Hell, yes, that's
- 37:37a fascinating take because what it does, though, is it it alleviates the
- 37:43restaurant for the problem if someone threw up, then you overserved them, yes,
- 37:47uh yes, and then but also I just like the idea of people
- 37:52going bankrupt on bottomless mimosas like that, just for some reason, that just
- 37:57makes my heart happy when I see that picture come out, and it's just
- 38:01it's just every every Karen in the world is just sitting there, uh,
- 38:07just frothing at the mouth. And you know what, Yeah, I'm right
- 38:10there with them. Oh no, I love brunch. Oh god, you
- 38:16would like that. Brunch is fantastic, is it? It's yeah, it's
- 38:25yummy food. You got yummy drinks. I get to get like Tara and
- 38:30I will split a carafe and also a bloody mary to start, maybe a
- 38:34cinnamon bun. It's just you just woke up late for breakfast, is all
- 38:37you did. Buddy. You just guys gave it a name, like instead
- 38:40of just being like, hey, we're late, can we still have eggs,
- 38:45Like, let's call it brunch. It's just it's the everybody at brunch
- 38:49is awful. I've never I've never met a good group of people like maybe
- 38:52you and maybe amazing. It's terrible. And the people that go, the
- 38:59people that make plans for brunch are awful. People like That's that's when they're
- 39:04like, we're just gonna We're gonna meet Saturday for brunch. I'm like,
- 39:06you can you can't look look like it's not it's not wise to just wing
- 39:10it at brunch. Like Trey works in Dallas at the Standard Poor. You
- 39:14need to call make a reservation, so you have to make plans for That's
- 39:16how good it is. How much? How much do you like the brunch
- 39:20folks, Trey? I like the brush folk. Fine, they're not on
- 39:24the table. Well yeah that and you know, the only brush people that
- 39:28really irritate me are ones that will come in and then they'll sit at the
- 39:30table for four hours and they'll drinking after two. No, that's not if
- 39:43I'm sitting I'm a good brunch customer. Okay, Well I like you because
- 39:52you don't remember brunch. That's that's a different kind of brunch. Ra every
- 39:58time I go to brunch, it's the first time. That is how you
- 40:09know that you bruned properly. You sit down and think this seems familiar,
