- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue Recap.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hot takes, cold facts and zero respect for the official narrative.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Sit back, roll your eyes, and let's recap rogue style.
- 0:15Speaker 1: What's up, guys, Welcome to the Rogue Recap. It is Wednesday,
- 0:18Speaker 1: April Fools Day, April first, and so far, no one
- 0:22Speaker 1: has pranked me today. I was waiting for it, you know.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I have four kids, and I thought, at some point
- 0:28Speaker 1: today I am definitely going to get prank. But no
- 0:33Speaker 1: such luck today. So pretty funny. If you're listening for
- 0:37Speaker 1: the first time, I am Linda McLachlin. Follow us Rogue
- 0:40Speaker 1: recap dot com, at Rogue Recap at Linda mick all
- 0:44Speaker 1: the things like us, subscribe, YadA YadA. So I love
- 0:48Speaker 1: April Fools Day. I think it's really funny. I remember
- 0:50Speaker 1: being a kid growing up and always thinking what could
- 0:54Speaker 1: I do on April fools that would trick my parents,
- 0:57Speaker 1: or trick my brothers, or trick a teacher whatever it
- 1:00Speaker 1: is right? But I was the worst because I'm a
- 1:03Speaker 1: terrible liar. I don't play poker or all the things right.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Like it's written all over my face. If I like you,
- 1:08Speaker 1: if I don't like you, if I'm sad. I'm happy
- 1:10Speaker 1: you're going to know because my eyebrows are going to
- 1:12Speaker 1: change and my face is going to make a smile
- 1:15Speaker 1: or a frown or whatever. It's never a secret. But
- 1:18Speaker 1: I was looking around today I was like, did anybody
- 1:20Speaker 1: have an April Fool's moment? And man, did I find
- 1:24Speaker 1: the funniest post. So there's a there's a professor and
- 1:30Speaker 1: he's in front of a classroom of students, and whoever
- 1:32Speaker 1: posted this wrote this professor has a policy that if
- 1:37Speaker 1: your phone rings in class, you have to answer it
- 1:39Speaker 1: on speakerphone, which, let's be honest, that would be super embarrassing.
- 1:43Speaker 1: So the students arranged to have a friend call in
- 1:47Speaker 1: on April's full stay and have a really really funny joke.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So I just thought this was a classic. I've never
- 1:54Speaker 1: seen anything like this before. And I'll tell you what
- 1:57Speaker 1: the person is saying. If it's hard to hear, the
- 2:00Speaker 1: is a little bit quiet, but just take a listen.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I think it's hysterical. Hello, yes, okay, you might you.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Okay, okay, thank you, thank you, I'll call that later.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Thank hey, I want to probably.
- 2:50Speaker 2: That's okay. I've been accepting this and I already know
- 2:54Speaker 2: what I'm gonna mean the baby, the first name will
- 2:57Speaker 2: be April and the middle name will be So.
- 3:06Speaker 1: If you couldn't hear what happened, So again, he makes
- 3:10Speaker 1: them answer the phone and has to be on speakerphone,
- 3:12Speaker 1: so she answers the phone and the guy says, Hi,
- 3:15Speaker 1: this is so and so from the Pregnancy Research Center,
- 3:18Speaker 1: we want to thank you so much for being a
- 3:20Speaker 1: participant in our research. And actually, when we ran your
- 3:26Speaker 1: I guess whatever she gave blood or whatever, right, it's
- 3:28Speaker 1: a joke, doesn't matter, but we ran you know, your test.
- 3:31Speaker 1: The results came back positive, and we saw from the
- 3:35Speaker 1: notes that you said the father was no longer in
- 3:37Speaker 1: the picture. But so we have services to help you
- 3:41Speaker 1: through the process. And he goes to his whole litany
- 3:43Speaker 1: of things, and obviously the teachers mortify because he's like, okay,
- 3:47Speaker 1: this is the opposite. Like normally, it's just like if
- 3:50Speaker 1: your friend's calling you and you're like, sorry, i'm a class, bye,
- 3:52Speaker 1: i gotta go, or whatever, right, your mom, your dad,
- 3:54Speaker 1: your friend, your brother, But this is like this serious call,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and the teacher's like so upset. He's like, I'm very sorry.
- 4:01Speaker 1: This is obviously not a call that you know, I
- 4:04Speaker 1: intended for you to take in front of the whole class,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and blah blah blah, and he feels so bad and
- 4:09Speaker 1: he's apologizing to her, and then you know, she makes
- 4:11Speaker 1: a joke and says, well, I've already decided what to
- 4:13Speaker 1: name the baby, and it is April Fools. So I
- 4:16Speaker 1: thought it was really funny. At the end of it,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you can't hear it because the kids start clapping and
- 4:19Speaker 1: hooting and hollering, but he says, he goes, you know what,
- 4:23Speaker 1: that was an amazing prank and you're gonna get bonus
- 4:25Speaker 1: points for that. So definitely really funny. He had a
- 4:28Speaker 1: great sense of humor about it, and I just thought
- 4:30Speaker 1: it was the funniest thing. You know, I do this
- 4:32Speaker 1: thing every night. My husband always laughs at me because obviously,
- 4:36Speaker 1: working in news, I cover awful stories all day long
- 4:40Speaker 1: and it gives you literally like no faith in humanity. Right,
- 4:44Speaker 1: So at night what I do is I watch stories
- 4:46Speaker 1: about animals, you know, animals that are reunited, or you
- 4:51Speaker 1: know when military and our veterans come home and their
- 4:55Speaker 1: their dogs and you know, their pets freak out and
- 4:57Speaker 1: they're so happy to see them, or you know, Bay
- 5:00Speaker 1: and puppies, babies, and dogs, horses, you name it. I'm
- 5:03Speaker 1: watching it. And I was watching this video last night
- 5:08Speaker 1: and it was a it was a police dog, it
- 5:11Speaker 1: was a canine dog, big German shepherd. I'm very partial
- 5:14Speaker 1: to German shepherds. And this little baby kitten and I
- 5:18Speaker 1: mean baby like probably like four weeks old, maybe tiny, tiny, tiny,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and this little thing is just wants to be best
- 5:26Speaker 1: friends with this German shepherd, I mean all over it,
- 5:29Speaker 1: rolling around, palling on its face, and this God bless them,
- 5:34Speaker 1: this German shepherd is like, hey, what's up. Yep, We're good.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I'm just hanging let's her climb all over them, you know,
- 5:39Speaker 1: making the biscuits in the back of his fur and
- 5:42Speaker 1: just like, I mean really cute, you know, and I'm like, see,
- 5:47Speaker 1: that's the stuff that makes me happy. Or the dogs
- 5:49Speaker 1: that see like the toddlers when they start walking, right,
- 5:52Speaker 1: or babies when they first start walking, and then toddler's
- 5:54Speaker 1: when they're playing, you know, when they're two and three.
- 5:57Speaker 1: You'll see these dogs they're so protective, you know, they'll no,
- 6:00Speaker 1: that might not be a good spot for him to stand.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna kind of curve up around the
- 6:05Speaker 1: back of them, or I'm going to stand kind of
- 6:07Speaker 1: close here, and they'll always protect that child. And I
- 6:09Speaker 1: had that same experience. You know, my dog Whinnie, he
- 6:12Speaker 1: just passed away in November, but my youngest son Liam,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I had him maybe a year after I had Winston,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and so it was so funny seeing Liam grow up
- 6:24Speaker 1: with Winston, and Winston just always by his side, so protective,
- 6:29Speaker 1: so sweet, and even when I was pregnant, I mean
- 6:31Speaker 1: when he was head on my belly, he would hear
- 6:34Speaker 1: him kicking in the womb and he would be like, oh,
- 6:36Speaker 1: you know what, the head bob that they do just
- 6:38Speaker 1: all the things, but those are those are the moments,
- 6:41Speaker 1: right that we hang on to because they're positive, they're happy,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and they get you through the day when you're watching
- 6:47Speaker 1: humanity just literally hang itself out to dry at every turn.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I mean, just it's insane. Even today, you know, we
- 6:56Speaker 1: had this birthright citizenship case in front of the court,
- 7:01Speaker 1: as I'm sure many of you know and followed, and
- 7:03Speaker 1: it is so upsetting to see the people standing out
- 7:07Speaker 1: front of the court screaming for birthright citizenship, wearing the
- 7:11Speaker 1: most disgusting shirts that say like fuck Trump, Fuck America,
- 7:16Speaker 1: give me my rights. I want the money. I'm an
- 7:19Speaker 1: illegal immigrant and I don't give a shit. You know,
- 7:21Speaker 1: dancing men dressing as women, you know, trans flags, just
- 7:26Speaker 1: all the things. It's to me, it's so interesting to
- 7:29Speaker 1: always see the same group of misfits, right they it's
- 7:34Speaker 1: like that whole joke of like here's your flag, Like
- 7:37Speaker 1: we'll just change your flag for whatever the thing is today.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And this Supreme Court hearing was no different. And obviously
- 7:44Speaker 1: we had a landmark moment because President Trump went to
- 7:48Speaker 1: the Supreme Court and sat in to hear oral arguments,
- 7:52Speaker 1: which has never been done. We've never had a sitting
- 7:54Speaker 1: president go to the Supreme Court and hear hearing, right,
- 7:57Speaker 1: so really interesting to to see him take such an
- 8:01Speaker 1: avid interest. And you know, the fourteenth Amendment of our
- 8:04Speaker 1: Constitution states that if you are born in this country,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you are a citizen. And it was explained to me
- 8:12Speaker 1: by someone who is, you know, a bit of a
- 8:16Speaker 1: bit of an expert in this topic, in a constitutional historian,
- 8:21Speaker 1: that this is one of those moments where that particular
- 8:26Speaker 1: amendment was meant to make sure that slaves were given
- 8:31Speaker 1: equal rights in America and to make sure that they
- 8:35Speaker 1: were considered one hundred percent of a person, and the
- 8:38Speaker 1: right to vote and all of these equality measures. It
- 8:41Speaker 1: wasn't to give people that were pregnant and got pregnant
- 8:46Speaker 1: on purpose, right, whether they're four higher people that cross
- 8:50Speaker 1: the border illegally give birth on our side of the
- 8:53Speaker 1: aisle and then say well, my child is legal, so
- 8:55Speaker 1: now I'm legal, right, or they're legal for a little while,
- 8:58Speaker 1: and then they go back to the country, but they
- 9:00Speaker 1: can come back or they can send for their parents
- 9:03Speaker 1: later on in life. It's this disgusting business. There's this
- 9:08Speaker 1: one Chinese businessman and he supposedly is the father to
- 9:11Speaker 1: over a hundred anchor babies that he literally just seated
- 9:17Speaker 1: these children so that they could be in the United
- 9:19Speaker 1: States and then they grow up here, they live here,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and then they come back and they work in China.
- 9:25Speaker 1: And there's this strange reciprocity that he's creating that's not real.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It's artificial, and they are working against the United States,
- 9:33Speaker 1: not for the United States, whether it's through trafficking fentanyl,
- 9:37Speaker 1: you know, trade secrets, you have it. Peter Schweizer actually
- 9:42Speaker 1: has a lot of information on this through the Government
- 9:45Speaker 1: Accountability Institute, and he's done a ton of deep dives
- 9:48Speaker 1: on this and testified before the Senate probably about two
- 9:53Speaker 1: or three weeks ago now, and Dick Durbin was like
- 9:56Speaker 1: at him, like, well, what are the statistics. If it's one,
- 10:00Speaker 1: it's too many. I think that's the thing that I
- 10:03Speaker 1: always get so upset about, like how many is enough
- 10:05Speaker 1: for you to give a shit?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Right?
- 10:07Speaker 1: As we see all of these kids and women, as
- 10:10Speaker 1: I talk about so often being hurt, being robbed, being raped,
- 10:15Speaker 1: being murdered by illegal aliens, and it's never enough. They
- 10:18Speaker 1: don't care. We just had another high school or killed
- 10:21Speaker 1: in Chicago just this week. You don't hear anything from
- 10:24Speaker 1: Brandon Johnson. Brandon Johnson's out there screaming about illegal immigrant
- 10:28Speaker 1: rights and reparations. He's not talking about new security measures,
- 10:32Speaker 1: he's not talking about how we can protect people. None
- 10:35Speaker 1: of that is coming out. And in fact JB. Pritzker,
- 10:38Speaker 1: the governor of Illinois, at a clip from I guess
- 10:42Speaker 1: it was twenty twenty five, just resurfaced and it's him saying,
- 10:46Speaker 1: if you don't like how things are going here in Illinois,
- 10:49Speaker 1: you can move. That's your answer. Why isn't it Listen,
- 10:54Speaker 1: we want to find a pathway to citizenship, which I
- 10:56Speaker 1: also don't agree with, but at least it would be
- 10:59Speaker 1: a better answer. We want to find a pathway to
- 11:02Speaker 1: becoming a legal citizen for those people that are here.
- 11:06Speaker 1: They're working, who knows how they got here, but they're
- 11:08Speaker 1: not doing anything right now that's criminal, and so we
- 11:12Speaker 1: want to help them become legal so that they can
- 11:14Speaker 1: pay into the system, they can be a part of
- 11:17Speaker 1: the ecosystem that is Illinois and the United States, and
- 11:21Speaker 1: we can sort of put this whole your illegal thing
- 11:23Speaker 1: to bed in the interim. If you're here and you're
- 11:26Speaker 1: here illegally, and you're committing crimes and you're murdering people,
- 11:29Speaker 1: and you're a part of the problem, not the solution,
- 11:32Speaker 1: then yes, we are going to cooperate with ICE, we
- 11:34Speaker 1: are going to cooperate with DHS, and we're going to
- 11:36Speaker 1: say see you later. I don't know why this concept
- 11:40Speaker 1: is so offensive to so many Democrats, even regular Democrats, Right,
- 11:46Speaker 1: These are people that are misinformed, and they say, you know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: we go back to the Billie Eilish thing from I
- 11:51Speaker 1: forget which award show. She was on some music show.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Who cares, but she got up there and said, no
- 11:56Speaker 1: one's illegal on stolen land, and so people started showing
- 11:59Speaker 1: up at her house, which, by the way, as a reminder,
- 12:01Speaker 1: is built on a Native American you know, holy site
- 12:06Speaker 1: or something. So people were like, all right, well you
- 12:08Speaker 1: got to move because you're actually on stolen land, you're
- 12:11Speaker 1: on sacred ground, so maybe you should get to get
- 12:14Speaker 1: And then who's she calling the police? So again it's
- 12:17Speaker 1: just there's so much of this that you have to
- 12:20Speaker 1: say like, Okay, it's enough. This is ridiculous, and it's
- 12:23Speaker 1: the whole, you know, good for thee not for me thing. Anyways,
- 12:26Speaker 1: I digress. But happy moments, April Fool's good stuff, right,
- 12:32Speaker 1: those are the moments they get you through the Pritzkers
- 12:33Speaker 1: and the Brandon Johnson's. I wanted to hit some stories
- 12:37Speaker 1: today that haven't gotten a lot of attention. I stumbled
- 12:40Speaker 1: across them earlier this afternoon and I thought that's interesting.
- 12:43Speaker 1: And I don't remember reading this. I don't know if
- 12:45Speaker 1: you guys do, but back in I guess it was
- 12:49Speaker 1: the end of last year. People started talking about this
- 12:52Speaker 1: former Capitol police officer, Shawnie Kirkhoff, who seemed to match
- 12:58Speaker 1: this pipe bomb that they've been looking for for the
- 13:01Speaker 1: last you know, five to six years, and we shouldn't
- 13:05Speaker 1: say looking right. Our administration is looking I'm sure the
- 13:08Speaker 1: Biden administration probably paid them off, but that's neither here
- 13:12Speaker 1: nor there. Our administration under Trump is continuing to look
- 13:16Speaker 1: into what happened, you know, on January sixth. And what's
- 13:20Speaker 1: interesting is as we see all of these rogue judges
- 13:24Speaker 1: that are releasing criminals on the street. I did my
- 13:26Speaker 1: show on that last night. Remember what they did to
- 13:29Speaker 1: the j six people, people that were waved in by
- 13:32Speaker 1: Capitol police to come into the Capitol, right. They didn't
- 13:36Speaker 1: break things, they didn't storm the doors. The doors were
- 13:38Speaker 1: opened for them. The video clearly shows it. This is
- 13:42Speaker 1: not a secret. They were kept without due process, put
- 13:45Speaker 1: in jails for years. It took President Trump coming in
- 13:49Speaker 1: and to get them out. Tina Peters is still in jail.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Tina Peters is a gold star wife and mother, and
- 13:57Speaker 1: she's sitting in jail right now because she had the
- 14:01Speaker 1: audacity to ask questions about the twenty twenty election. And
- 14:06Speaker 1: I think a lot of people had questions about the
- 14:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty election. And what you'll notice is whether it
- 14:12Speaker 1: was COVID or the election, you weren't allowed to talk
- 14:15Speaker 1: about it, and if you asked questions, you were called
- 14:19Speaker 1: a conspiracy theorist, you were called a fascist, you were
- 14:23Speaker 1: called whatever you were called. But they weren't happy about it,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and they turned everybody against each other. They did exactly
- 14:30Speaker 1: what they wanted to do, which was divide and conquer,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and they did it. And we had all these Democrats saying,
- 14:35Speaker 1: if you don't get the COVID shot, you're the problem.
- 14:38Speaker 1: If you don't believe that the twenty twenty election was
- 14:42Speaker 1: completely and totally with the utmost integrity and there's no questions,
- 14:47Speaker 1: you're the problem. I'm like, are you the same assholes
- 14:49Speaker 1: who were talking about how all of these software, you know,
- 14:54Speaker 1: voting machines were going to enable people to steal and cheat?
- 14:58Speaker 1: I mean, we had senators like this might ring a bell,
- 15:01Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, right, I mean think about that, you know,
- 15:05Speaker 1: Senator Warren, Senator Wyden. They wrote a letter to the
- 15:10Speaker 1: administration saying, we don't want to use these machines because
- 15:13Speaker 1: we think the Republicans are gonna cheat. Then all of
- 15:15Speaker 1: a sudden they got really quiet. I wonder why, perhaps
- 15:18Speaker 1: because they figured out how to cheat, and so then
- 15:21Speaker 1: it didn't matter anymore. Because they're like, oh, we got
- 15:23Speaker 1: it rigged. We're good. That whole expression too big to
- 15:26Speaker 1: rig exists for a reason. But I'm down a rabbit hole.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So January sixth, there were these pipe bombs place and
- 15:31Speaker 1: they kept trying to figure out where it came from.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Who's the person that placed the pipe bombs? So this
- 15:38Speaker 1: report came out today. For what it's worth, I did
- 15:41Speaker 1: a little background and it appears that this is correct
- 15:44Speaker 1: that SHAWNE. Kerkhoff, who was a Capitol police officer on
- 15:49Speaker 1: January sixth, failed a November FBI polygraph test when she
- 15:55Speaker 1: was asked if she placed the pipe bombs on January fifth,
- 16:00Speaker 1: twenty twenty one. Now this is coming out into court filing,
- 16:03Speaker 1: so I'm going to read to you what it says.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You tell me what you think. Shawnie Kerkhoff was named
- 16:08Speaker 1: as a person of interests in the January fifth and sixth,
- 16:11Speaker 1: twenty twenty one pipe bomb investigation. Miss Kirkhoff was a
- 16:16Speaker 1: US Capitol Police officer on January sixth and was present
- 16:20Speaker 1: at the Capitol on that date. Miss Kerkhoff now works
- 16:23Speaker 1: for the Central Intelligence Agency. According to discovery produced by
- 16:28Speaker 1: the government in this case, the FBI began investigating, questioning,
- 16:33Speaker 1: and covertly surveilling Miss Kerkhoff during the time it began
- 16:37Speaker 1: investigating mister Cole. On November sixth, twenty twenty five, Miss
- 16:41Speaker 1: Kerkhoff was interviewed by the FBI and took a polygraph examination.
- 16:47Speaker 1: She was asked two relevant questions, Number one, did you
- 16:51Speaker 1: place those pipe bombs? And number two did you place
- 16:56Speaker 1: those pipe bombs? That evening Miss Kerkhoff fell the polygraph.
- 17:01Speaker 1: The FBI polygraph examer noted Kerkhoff's very controlled reaction to
- 17:07Speaker 1: the news of her failing the polygraph. How weird is that?
- 17:12Speaker 1: And you haven't heard it anywhere? I mean, this came
- 17:15Speaker 1: out today. People are talking about it today on X
- 17:19Speaker 1: and I'm like, I have never heard this before. I
- 17:22Speaker 1: don't know if I'm just asleep at the switch, but
- 17:24Speaker 1: if you're like me, I'm like, what this is actually
- 17:27Speaker 1: big news, Like we need to find out what this
- 17:31Speaker 1: woman knew and when she knew it. And they said
- 17:34Speaker 1: that her I guess a lot of the forensic observations
- 17:39Speaker 1: and investigations, she matches the person of interest. It's like
- 17:44Speaker 1: a ninety three percent match. I was like, Okay, there's
- 17:49Speaker 1: something truly off. Here. And I also think that if
- 17:53Speaker 1: we look at the clothing, and then you look at
- 17:55Speaker 1: the clothing that was shown on the person, it's like, man,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I really am struggling with why we're not looking at
- 18:05Speaker 1: this more. Yeah. A computer program that match the bomb
- 18:09Speaker 1: suspect's gate to that of Shawny Kirkoff produced a ninety
- 18:13Speaker 1: four percent match. And when you look at it and
- 18:16Speaker 1: then you watch her walk and you look at all
- 18:18Speaker 1: the videos and pictures they have of her, I'm like, yeah, Okay,
- 18:21Speaker 1: that's that. I mean, it's just strange. Right. We have
- 18:25Speaker 1: to sort of raise our eyebrows and go, all right,
- 18:26Speaker 1: that's a little weird. In any event, I think those
- 18:31Speaker 1: are things that definitely bear a little bit more investigation
- 18:34Speaker 1: and definitely a deeper dive into what we are trying
- 18:39Speaker 1: to discover about January sixth, because we are we're literally
- 18:45Speaker 1: still looking for answers. We don't have answers, and we're
- 18:48Speaker 1: told that if we try to ask questions that were
- 18:51Speaker 1: the problem. The second story that we didn't hear a
- 18:55Speaker 1: lot about today is that a seven month old baby
- 18:58Speaker 1: was shot to death in broad daylight in Brooklyn during
- 19:02Speaker 1: a random shooting. So the city and the state that
- 19:06Speaker 1: doesn't want you to have guns, doesn't want you to
- 19:08Speaker 1: have mace, doesn't want you to have a knife, has
- 19:11Speaker 1: people being thrown into subways, set on fire on subways,
- 19:15Speaker 1: and if you're a baby and a stroller, you can
- 19:17Speaker 1: be shot dead in broad daylight in Brooklyn. Are you
- 19:21Speaker 1: kidding me? This is what we have going on? And
- 19:24Speaker 1: imagine you're a mom walking your baby and your child
- 19:28Speaker 1: is shot. It's the same shit that's going on in
- 19:30Speaker 1: Chicago all the time. These places that have this lockdown
- 19:34Speaker 1: on guns typically have the most violence, and you have
- 19:38Speaker 1: people that are trying to protect themselves, regular people. Do
- 19:41Speaker 1: you know how hard it is to get a concealed
- 19:43Speaker 1: carry in states like New York? You need to have
- 19:46Speaker 1: over two thousand verified death threats in order to get
- 19:51Speaker 1: a concealed carry in a state like New York. Why,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I'm telling you I have a burn up by RNA.
- 19:58Speaker 1: If you don't have one, I strongly advise you to
- 20:00Speaker 1: get one. They're friends and they're great people, they run
- 20:03Speaker 1: a great company, and it is legal in all fifty states.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You do not need a permit and you can actually
- 20:08Speaker 1: protect yourself. This is the stuff that really frightens me
- 20:13Speaker 1: and you have to be able to protect and your
- 20:15Speaker 1: family for that matter. Like I don't know in this case.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I mean, if there's somebody riding away. They have a
- 20:20Speaker 1: shot of the guy with the gun in Brooklyn. He's
- 20:23Speaker 1: like on the back of a scooter. One guy's driving
- 20:25Speaker 1: and he's got his arm out with the gun. He's
- 20:27Speaker 1: just shooting. It's two o'clock in the afternoon on a Wednesday,
- 20:32Speaker 1: and he's just shooting. There's kids getting out of school,
- 20:34Speaker 1: there's kids in the park at spring break. For a
- 20:36Speaker 1: lot of these kids this week, zero respect for the
- 20:40Speaker 1: value of life. That's what we're raising right now. And
- 20:43Speaker 1: that goes into another issue because a lot of these
- 20:46Speaker 1: kids that are getting shot are getting shot by kids.
- 20:50Speaker 1: And these kids are spending all of their time on YouTube,
- 20:54Speaker 1: on these games, talking to people in chat rooms. They're
- 20:57Speaker 1: getting zero education from the school system. They're getting pushed through.
- 21:02Speaker 1: They have parents that aren't around, and sometimes the parents
- 21:04Speaker 1: aren't around because they're also a problem, or they're not
- 21:09Speaker 1: around because it's so damn expensive to live in New
- 21:12Speaker 1: York to live in New York City that they have
- 21:14Speaker 1: to work eighty hours to one hundred hours a week.
- 21:18Speaker 1: They're not home they can't be with their kids, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: their kids are left of their own devices. We have
- 21:23Speaker 1: to get back to a place where we could be
- 21:25Speaker 1: with our children. The time that we spend with them,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I mean, they're literally you think about like a lifetime, right.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The time that you are a child is so short
- 21:37Speaker 1: over the grand scheme of things, the decades that you're
- 21:39Speaker 1: going to spend on this earth, and that time as
- 21:42Speaker 1: a child literally frames you for the rest of your life.
- 21:45Speaker 1: And it can make you a good person. It can
- 21:47Speaker 1: make you a bad person. It can make you a
- 21:49Speaker 1: person that you know is able to overcome, or it
- 21:53Speaker 1: can make you a person that says, I'm allowed to
- 21:55Speaker 1: do this because nobody's telling me I'm not, and you
- 21:57Speaker 1: have no accountability, and you end up being the guy
- 22:00Speaker 1: that pulls a gun out in Brooklyn at two o'clock
- 22:02Speaker 1: on a Wednesday, and then a seven month old is dead.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And that dovetails into my next story of the day.
- 22:10Speaker 1: There's public schools in Boston that are teaching children how
- 22:15Speaker 1: to protest. They have homemade signs they're hanging they had
- 22:20Speaker 1: they're walking around. It looks like a little tiny classroom
- 22:25Speaker 1: and they have paper signs sticking to like popsicle sticks
- 22:28Speaker 1: or something, bashing the president, teaching them to protest, and
- 22:34Speaker 1: they're marching around and screaming. And there's one little girl
- 22:37Speaker 1: by herself, just sitting at a table. And they're little.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I mean, these kids are probably seven or eight. This
- 22:43Speaker 1: is what they're doing with your children. So you're at
- 22:45Speaker 1: work and these kids are marching around what looks like
- 22:48Speaker 1: their library at their school, screaming against the president and
- 22:52Speaker 1: pretending to protest. All right, it's so upsetting. There's got
- 22:59Speaker 1: to be a spot where we can say, as parents,
- 23:01Speaker 1: that's enough. That's not a thing. We are not going
- 23:05Speaker 1: to have this. And let me tell you something, this
- 23:08Speaker 1: is a much bigger issue because as we look at
- 23:12Speaker 1: all of the other things that happen, as I just said,
- 23:14Speaker 1: if you are not a part of your children's lives,
- 23:17Speaker 1: if you are not a part of what they're seeing
- 23:21Speaker 1: every single day, and you don't tell them, hey, that's
- 23:23Speaker 1: not right. We don't need to protest. We don't need
- 23:26Speaker 1: to be out in the street. We don't need to
- 23:27Speaker 1: be causing trouble. We need to be focused on ourselves.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Put God back into your life, put your education first,
- 23:36Speaker 1: put your family first, get your kids off their phones
- 23:39Speaker 1: and their xboxes and their PS fives, And I know
- 23:42Speaker 1: it's hard. I got four kids. They all like all
- 23:44Speaker 1: those things. But when we sit down to dinner, we
- 23:47Speaker 1: don't have phones at the table. And if my husband's
- 23:50Speaker 1: working late, I make sure that's the day that I'm
- 23:52Speaker 1: at the dinner table alone with them. But I'm hearing
- 23:54Speaker 1: about their day. If they need me, they know they
- 23:57Speaker 1: can always get me. They always come first. There's never
- 24:00Speaker 1: going to be a time where I'm going to say
- 24:02Speaker 1: I can't do that, I can't be there for you. You're
- 24:05Speaker 1: going to have to figure that out on your own.
- 24:07Speaker 1: And even when my kids have had to do things
- 24:10Speaker 1: on their own per se, I'm still prepping them. I'm
- 24:13Speaker 1: still getting them ready. I'm still a part of whatever
- 24:16Speaker 1: is going on. My husband is the same way. But
- 24:20Speaker 1: there's a there really is a larger issue when you
- 24:23Speaker 1: get to a spot and you have your tax dollars
- 24:27Speaker 1: going there and they're protesting and they're seven and eight,
- 24:33Speaker 1: and it's funny, you know, I look at this Artemis
- 24:35Speaker 1: launched today, and you know, we're sending four astronauts to space,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and what is so stupid? And I maybe I'm alone
- 24:48Speaker 1: in this theory. But does it really matter that one
- 24:52Speaker 1: guy is black, that one person is a woman, that
- 24:56Speaker 1: one person's a Canadian? Does it matter? Is is there
- 25:00Speaker 1: a reason why we need to point out the race
- 25:03Speaker 1: and gender of the astronauts. Isn't it enough to just say, hey,
- 25:07Speaker 1: this is great, we're going back to the moon, and
- 25:11Speaker 1: we're excited and these astronauts are ready for this, and
- 25:16Speaker 1: we're going to cheer them on because this is history
- 25:20Speaker 1: and wonderful. Okay. But instead we're like, well, this woman,
- 25:25Speaker 1: she'll be this she's a woman of color, and this
- 25:28Speaker 1: is a black man, and then we have a Canadian
- 25:31Speaker 1: showing the shut up? Who gives us shit? Nobody cares.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I was just talking with my mom about this today.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I'm like, can't it just be we have four great astronauts. Well,
- 25:41Speaker 1: all of the previous astronauts that went to the moon
- 25:44Speaker 1: were white, most of the astronauts that have traveled in
- 25:46Speaker 1: space were white. What what does that matter? If you
- 25:52Speaker 1: are the right person for the job, you should get
- 25:55Speaker 1: the job. I mean, I almost feel like we have
- 25:57Speaker 1: to be like one of those singing shows. Can't remember
- 26:00Speaker 1: which show it is, but there's a show where like
- 26:02Speaker 1: they don't look at the person singing. They just hear
- 26:04Speaker 1: them and then they turn around and they hit the
- 26:06Speaker 1: button if they like whoever is singing, right, Like, that's
- 26:09Speaker 1: how it should be for your candidate. You shouldn't know
- 26:12Speaker 1: their race, you shouldn't know their background or whatever, and
- 26:17Speaker 1: just look at their resume. Are they a good fit, terrific?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Then you can bring them in for the interview and
- 26:22Speaker 1: see how they are in person. If they are terrible
- 26:25Speaker 1: in person, but you hire them anyway because they fulfill
- 26:30Speaker 1: some sort of quota, whether it be race or gender,
- 26:34Speaker 1: you are the problem. Stop doing that. It's really not
- 26:38Speaker 1: a fair way. Like, we work so much better as
- 26:41Speaker 1: a society, as a meritocracy. It's like when you see
- 26:45Speaker 1: people in Congress, like I look at this guy Meeks
- 26:48Speaker 1: or Al Green or Jasmine Crockett. They speak so it's
- 26:55Speaker 1: not even colloquial. It's almost like they dumbed down way
- 27:00Speaker 1: that they should speak. As a member of Congress, you're
- 27:04Speaker 1: clearly educated. You've made it this far. You're supposed to
- 27:08Speaker 1: be representing your community, and you're doing stupid music videos
- 27:13Speaker 1: in the halls of Congress. You're not showing up for
- 27:18Speaker 1: informational and advisory meetings for committees you belong on, and
- 27:21Speaker 1: then when you give testimony you get called out on
- 27:23Speaker 1: the carpet because they say, well, you don't know what's
- 27:25Speaker 1: going on because you don't show up for the meetings.
- 27:28Speaker 1: And they say, oh, you can't say that to me,
- 27:29Speaker 1: it's racist. What how is you not doing your job
- 27:34Speaker 1: and me saying you should do your job make me
- 27:36Speaker 1: a racist. I'm pretty sure it makes you and insubordinate.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it makes you not doing your job.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I'm just tired of being focused on all of the
- 27:49Speaker 1: wrong things and all of the things that don't make sense.
- 27:53Speaker 1: We have to get back to basics. There's got to
- 27:55Speaker 1: be some point where we have common sense. Additionally, if
- 28:01Speaker 1: we have illegal aliens constantly committing crimes, constantly killing innocent people, children, women,
- 28:11Speaker 1: why can't we have the common sense to remove them.
- 28:15Speaker 1: You have kids protesting the president because you're upset that
- 28:20Speaker 1: he wants to enforce DHS. ICE is already funded. You're
- 28:24Speaker 1: upset that he wants to have things on the up.
- 28:26Speaker 1: He wants voter integrity, he wants citizens in America to
- 28:29Speaker 1: be a part of the process and non citizens to
- 28:32Speaker 1: get out. Why is that a bad thing? How are
- 28:37Speaker 1: we supposed to survive if only a very small portion
- 28:41Speaker 1: of the country believes in what the country stood for,
- 28:45Speaker 1: believe in what the country stands for now and what
- 28:47Speaker 1: we hope to stand for in the future. If you're
- 28:50Speaker 1: looking to break us down, if you're looking to not assimilate,
- 28:54Speaker 1: if you're looking to be the problem, please go back
- 28:57Speaker 1: to whereever you came from. Go be a problem there.
- 29:01Speaker 1: We don't need it here. And while this podcast is
- 29:05Speaker 1: a mishmash of topics, they're all topics that bother many
- 29:08Speaker 1: of us every day. They may be stories you haven't
- 29:11Speaker 1: heard of, but each of them are relatable to something
- 29:14Speaker 1: that is unfinished and it's unaddressed in our society and
- 29:17Speaker 1: we need to just start talking about it or it's
- 29:19Speaker 1: never going to get fixed. We certainly can't leave it
- 29:21Speaker 1: up to Congress. They can't do shit. We got like
- 29:24Speaker 1: one senator holding the line there, and its Senator Mike Lee,
- 29:27Speaker 1: and we got like two or three members of Congress.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Everybody else is just in it for themselves. It's actually
- 29:32Speaker 1: super depressing to see people that I once thought were
- 29:35Speaker 1: like really good people and now we're finding out they
- 29:39Speaker 1: don't care either. We saw who went home this weekend.
- 29:42Speaker 1: We saw who went to Walt Disney World, we saw
- 29:45Speaker 1: who was on cruises, who was hanging out with celebrities.
- 29:48Speaker 1: It's not hard. It's actually very easy and very upsetting.
- 29:53Speaker 1: And I think what we're looking at now is it
- 29:56Speaker 1: is a time for choosing. It truly is. And even
- 30:00Speaker 1: my own governor here, you know, he's a Democrat here
- 30:03Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania, and he says, you know, common sense voter
- 30:06Speaker 1: id laws that you know the majority of Americans you know, support,
- 30:10Speaker 1: like the Save America Act. He says, we're going to
- 30:12Speaker 1: suppress the vote. Why does he not want just Americans
- 30:17Speaker 1: voting in Pennsylvania? Oh? I know, because you can't win
- 30:22Speaker 1: unless the legals vote and you can steal because everybody
- 30:25Speaker 1: hates you and knows you're a lying sack of shit.
- 30:28Speaker 1: So's Pritzker, so is Newsome, so is half of Congress.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You guys can't win unless you have fraudulent votes. Because
- 30:39Speaker 1: the American people have woken up and we're on to you.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I really hope they passed the Save Act, guys, I'm
- 30:45Speaker 1: telling you right now. If they don't pack the past
- 30:47Speaker 1: this Save Act, America as we know it is over,
- 30:51Speaker 1: completely over. And that is not an April Fol's joke.
