- 0:00An unsuspecting family finds what they believed to be the
- 0:03perfect home. But underneath the facade of
- 0:06this charming Farmhouse, there is a Sinister Force.
- 0:11Dark is the abyss lying underneath the heavy fog upon
- 0:15the land there. Lies generations of graves.
- 0:20These Graves could hold the key to solving their paranormal
- 0:24nightmare. This is the untold story of the
- 0:28old Arnold estate also known as The Conjuring house and the
- 0:33Demonic forces that dwell within it.
- 1:15Harrisville Rhode Island, a small town located on America's
- 1:20East Coast with just a population of an estimated 1,800
- 1:24people like many towns across the country.
- 1:27You can easily overlook this woman at face value, but it's,
- 1:32when we take a deeper, look, we discovered that this little town
- 1:36has a dark history. It's story is filled with death
- 1:41from murders, two drownings and much more with all these
- 1:46unfortunate happenings in mind and makes one beg the question.
- 1:51Could there be something evil that stocks this place something
- 1:55that feeds upon suffering and misery?
- 1:58Perhaps there is and perhaps that is what contributed to the
- 2:03creation of the following story. It all starts in Central Falls
- 2:08Rhode Island in 1970. Where the / own family?
- 2:14Which consisted of mother. Carolyn father, Roger and their
- 2:18five daughters and Draya, Nancy. Christine, Cynthia, and April.
- 2:25We're all living a relatively normal life.
- 2:28Among things like school work and outdoor play.
- 2:33Nothing seemed quite out of the ordinary yet.
- 2:38The children had been gifted a puppy with an exceptionally
- 2:41unique personality and out of the ether, a name came to mind
- 2:46when they were naming her Bathsheba.
- 2:51A unique dog with a unique name. She was fond of all the
- 2:55children, but especially Andrea. Now, 10 years old, she would
- 3:00often take Bathsheba for walks around their Suburban
- 3:04neighborhood. however on one of those walks tragedy would strike
- 3:10and would seemingly set in motion a snowball effect that
- 3:13would follow the family for years to come While Andrea had
- 3:18the puppy out in the neighborhood, her sisters and
- 3:21come up from playing outside and decided to make the walk a group
- 3:25activity, all seemed fine until a car full of teenagers drove
- 3:31by, at an incredibly High rate of speed.
- 3:34They seem to be yelling something in unison and had
- 3:38brightly colored tassels hanging out of their windows.
- 3:42Bathsheba was an obedient dog. But the flailing and bright
- 3:45colored streamers caught her attention.
- 3:48And in an instant, she broke loose from Andrea and bolted
- 3:53towards the vehicle, the shocked girls.
- 3:56Then watch the car Mister by mere inches as she made her way
- 4:00safely across the road. But being the good dog that she
- 4:04was upon hearing in Drea call out to her again.
- 4:08She began to run back to them. And in the blink of an eye, she
- 4:13was struck by another vehicle. An elderly couple that never
- 4:18even saw her. Her leash had gotten caught
- 4:21around one of the wheels of their car when they hit her and
- 4:25she was suffering immensely. A nearby neighbor called the
- 4:29police. And upon removing the children
- 4:32from the scene, they were traumatized further as they
- 4:35heard the gunshot. That ended the poor animals
- 4:38life. The entire family.
- 4:41Now, held a deep despair at the tragedy that had taken place,
- 4:45she wasn't just a pet. She was a member of the family.
- 4:50There was now an unspoken pain that haunted them.
- 4:54The family had planned a vacation months prior and hoped
- 4:58that a break from their normal routine would help everyone.
- 5:01So, they went and soon some of their sadness turned a joy as
- 5:07the family experienced hotel swimming pools, ice cream and
- 5:12shopping, but this Joy would to be short-lived.
- 5:17The family also had four cats and Upon returning to their
- 5:21home. With this newfound sense of
- 5:23well-being. They would endure even more
- 5:26trauma, they would discover that almost all of their cats have
- 5:32been viciously killed by neighborhood kids while they
- 5:34were gone. Several had every bone in their
- 5:38bodies broken with a baseball bat.
- 5:42Upon this horrific Discovery their father Roger rushed inside
- 5:46the house to call the police only to find their home.
- 5:50Absolutely, ransacked as well. Furniture was upside down
- 5:56mirrors and windows broken. All of their Provisions, left to
- 6:00spoil from their tipped over fridge, and their carpet was
- 6:05doused in motor oil. It would later be discovered,
- 6:08that two of their cats were killed by the group of the kids.
- 6:12One would never be seen again and the other had been seriously
- 6:16beaten but would survive. Although the neighborhood was
- 6:21known for angsty teenagers and roughhousing kids, the family
- 6:25wondered, how could these kids conduct such evil?
- 6:29Did the devil's foot soldiers know?
- 6:31No bounds. A police report was filed and it
- 6:35was shortly uncovered that the demon seed who had led these
- 6:39awful actions was there 12 year old neighbor, the young man was
- 6:43seemingly a born criminal upon being confronted.
- 6:48The boy's mother covered for her son and despite their best
- 6:51efforts due to lack of evidence. Nothing much would come of the
- 6:56report with the police, but Andrea would have her revenge.
- 7:02she had yet to come to terms with her precious, bathsheba's
- 7:04death and now this the rage inside of her built, After some
- 7:11thorough planning, she attacked the boy who was responsible
- 7:15beating him ferociously. Breaking his nose blackening,
- 7:20his eyes until she was pried off by a nearby neighbor and told to
- 7:25go home. All this wouldn't bring her
- 7:28animals back, but it felt Justified to the young girl
- 7:32given what the boy had done, but these antics of sadness
- 7:36hostility and rage. Would soon manifest into
- 7:41something much darker ever since their home was ransacked,
- 7:46Carolyn had wanted to move. Move but knowing they weren't in
- 7:50a financial state to do. So they had little to no choice
- 7:54other than to stay. So she kept an Ever watchful eye
- 7:58on her children letting them out of the house rarely and mostly
- 8:02under her supervision given the prior events.
- 8:06She wanted them raised by wild nature, not wild beasts.
- 8:11Shortly after this time, Roger had prepared to depart for a
- 8:15business trip which was to last several days.
- 8:19Even amidst the turmoil of the current events.
- 8:22He still had to provide for his large family.
- 8:25And while his family was just waking up that morning as he and
- 8:29his wife, Carolyn enjoyed their morning cup of coffee, they were
- 8:33suddenly startled by the sound of a large explosion in their
- 8:37front yard like someone had fired a cannon towards their
- 8:41house Alarmed. They raced outside to discover
- 8:46what had happened. Shortly after purchasing their
- 8:50Humble Home, Carolyn had built a rock garden of swords at the
- 8:55entrance of their driveway, her friends, often teased her.
- 8:59That it's centerpiece. Resembled a tombstone without
- 9:02the inscription of the dearly Departed.
- 9:06Well to the family shock, their neighbor from across the street,
- 9:10had started his truck that morning and had suffered a major
- 9:14heart attack and had died at the wheel.
- 9:17His foot pressing down on the gas, causing the truck to Barrel
- 9:21directly at the parents home to smash right into that large
- 9:25Rock. It was almost like something was
- 9:28following them. Like a living breathing
- 9:32organism, feeding upon it. After this horrible event,
- 9:37people began to refer to the Rock Garden as the graveyard.
- 9:43Mrs. Curtis the wife of the neighbor who had passed away
- 9:47upon being greeted and offered condolences by the family,
- 9:51actually blamed them for what had happened.
- 9:55Declaring that Carolyn never liked them anyway and was a
- 9:58witch that was enough for her again.
- 10:02She begged, Roger to move that they were seemingly stuck.
- 10:07Given the awful circumstances, the man still had to work.
- 10:12So he departed for his business trip.
- 10:15While her husband was gone, it was up to Carolyn to take care
- 10:19of their five children. This men taking them to and from
- 10:23school as well as music lessons and much more while attending
- 10:28her daughter and Drea's music lessons.
- 10:31She had forgotten to bring a book to help her pass the time.
- 10:34So Carolyn went and purchased a papers, The Substitute before
- 10:39too long. She found herself daydreaming
- 10:42and looking through the various ads and real estate available
- 10:45Wanting and wishing that, she could change their current
- 10:48predicament, when strangely enough, the universe seemed to
- 10:53glance back at her hidden, among many other homes was a
- 10:57nine-bedroom farmhouse with a barn.
- 11:00Lots of land in seclusion, It's beautiful design and elegance
- 11:06soon had Carolyn imagining her children playing and being
- 11:10raised in nature, she wanted and she could allow them to do so
- 11:15without the fear of other children attempting to harm
- 11:17them. She almost immediately became
- 11:20obsessed with the idea of purchasing the house, and
- 11:24although the family really couldn't afford it at the time
- 11:27without seeking Rogers permission.
- 11:30She made a call and went to look at the old Arnold stayed the
- 11:33following day. The owner was a very nice old
- 11:37lady and although she didn't have much, Carolyn asked how
- 11:41much she would have to put down to hold the home so she could
- 11:45purchase it once. Her husband had returned, an
- 11:49agreement of $500, is a good-faith payment was made and
- 11:53shortly after Roger. Arrived back home.
- 11:55Several days later, he was sideswiped by his wife's
- 11:59decision. Vision.
- 12:01Although, his anger would soon turn to understanding after all,
- 12:07a happy wife makes for a happy life.
- 12:09As most would say, even though he didn't know exactly how they
- 12:13would make it work, he decided to placate his wife and allow
- 12:17them to purchase the home. It took some time but before too
- 12:22long, they found themselves packing and coming into
- 12:26possession of the keys to their future.
- 12:28Although, they couldn't foresee just how dark of the future.
- 12:32It was to be The Perrin family having seemingly found the home
- 12:40of their dreams located on a large swath of land outside of
- 12:44the town of Harrisville Rhode Island.
- 12:47What would become known as the old Arnold estate almost seemed
- 12:51too perfect like an answer to their desperate prayers.
- 12:56It's a large Farmhouse, which has nine bedrooms, a barn and
- 13:02plenty of land, which they can Envision their children playing
- 13:05on. And having a wonderful time,
- 13:08although it's winter, they go ahead and begin to move into
- 13:12their new house. There's a massive snowstorm
- 13:16taking place while they're moving in but this doesn't deter
- 13:19the large family from getting settled in to what they believe
- 13:23is going to be a Charming. Nice, a new home for all of them
- 13:28given everything they've been through.
- 13:30I would have hoped for the same and for the first three months
- 13:34things are Charming nice. And normal, their rustic
- 13:39Farmhouse has its challenges with it being fairly old such as
- 13:44Being very cold that winter but it's nothing.
- 13:47They can't deal with or so they think.
- 13:52All around the feeling is a happy, one for the family, but
- 13:56this happy mood would soon change upon meeting their
- 14:00nearest neighbors. They seemed rather strange.
- 14:05They offered one piece of advice to Roger and Carolyn for the
- 14:09love of your family. Keep the lights on at night.
- 14:13Originally written off by the couple.
- 14:16These words would seem to be rather fitting foreshadowing for
- 14:19the events to come. When the Frozen land of the farm
- 14:23began to thaw is seemed like something thought along with it
- 14:28and began to plug them. Once again, one night, when the
- 14:32daughters, Nancy and Andrea were asleep in their shared room and
- 14:37we're suddenly woken up by the sound of their doors.
- 14:40Slide open closed open. An enclosed petrified by the
- 14:46noise of the door smacking the wall.
- 14:48And it also being their only way out of the room, they ran
- 14:52towards the door to try and Escape when suddenly it stopped
- 14:57moving and just stayed open. Still creaking from being moved.
- 15:05Catching their breath and trying to come to terms with what had
- 15:08just happened Thinking. By this point, maybe one of
- 15:11their other sisters was trying to play a prank on them.
- 15:14The two girls look down the hall, and eventually made their
- 15:18way to their other sisters rooms, where they found them
- 15:22asleep. Needless to say, they wouldn't
- 15:25sleep the rest of the night. They would bring this to the
- 15:29attention of their parents. The following morning, the were
- 15:32quickly dismissed. Just as is often the case and
- 15:36told that they had overactive imaginations from here.
- 15:41Thanks started small, but became very noticeable.
- 15:44As they mushroomed into much bigger experiences.
- 15:48At first, whatever Spirits they believed, could be in the house
- 15:52seemed benevolent almost good-natured with some of the
- 15:57younger siblings later. Stating that they would even be
- 16:00tucked into bed by the spirit of a woman on occasion, but It was
- 16:04all two short-lived items soon. Began to go missing car keys.
- 16:10Weren't where they had been hung daily items such as mugs toys
- 16:15and utensils were soon disappearing as well.
- 16:19Carolyn would hear the scraping of a broom upon the floor or the
- 16:23knocking of a kettle in the kitchen.
- 16:25When no one else was home, but her with this upon cleaning the
- 16:30floors, she would also find piles of dirt turn that would
- 16:34appear out of nowhere. Making her feel as if she was
- 16:37going crazy. But these small happenings to
- 16:41would soon become larger, the children would often play a game
- 16:46called hide and clap a version of hide and go seek this time,
- 16:51Andrea was the seeker and her sisters went off.
- 16:54Hiding throughout the estate Cindy made her way into the
- 16:58woodshed. Found a small box, just big
- 17:00enough for her to get inside being determined.
- 17:03Ermine to win, she climbed into the box and slip.
- 17:07The small lid, over the top figuring.
- 17:09This would be an excellent Hiding Place indeed.
- 17:13And after several minutes, she realized that no one was coming
- 17:16for her and went to remove the lid except it wouldn't budge
- 17:22panicking and utter Darkness. She used all means necessary to
- 17:27try and remove the lid and free herself.
- 17:31After screaming and worrying. That she'd suffocate inside this
- 17:35box. She was thankfully found by
- 17:38Andrea who slid the lid off. No problem.
- 17:41Revealed her horribly distressed younger.
- 17:44Sister inside. It's important to know that this
- 17:47was a sliding cover. There was no locking mechanism.
- 17:53Along with this terrifying event, the children's rooms were
- 17:56often rearranged daily. They would leave their things
- 18:00one way in the morning and return two things.
- 18:03Either completely a mess as if a small cyclone and hit their
- 18:06rooms or all items would be smashed underneath their beds.
- 18:11And this happened to all of the girls at one point or another
- 18:16these small Whispers bangings And movements did indeed become
- 18:21larger. Andrea being the oldest but
- 18:25often be woken up by her younger siblings and would hold them.
- 18:29As they sobbed. Their eyes out terrified to
- 18:32return to their rooms Cindy, in particular began to hear of
- 18:37sinister voice. Call out to her, almost every
- 18:39night, the voice would tell her that there were seven, dead
- 18:44soldiers in the walls and would repeated over and over and over
- 18:50again. The children now.
- 18:53Terrified begged their parents to believe them and although
- 18:58they too were beginning to experience things on their own.
- 19:01They didn't want to frighten the children.
- 19:04So they did what could be done to placate them but soon the
- 19:09entire family began to hear the whales of something inhuman
- 19:13calling out for its mother. This disturbing Trend with no
- 19:18origin was followed by even more disturbing.
- 19:21Happenings the beds of the girls would lift up and Shake by an
- 19:26unseen Force. Almost always around 5:15 a.m.
- 19:32as if something was trying to send some kind of a message,
- 19:36although it was never clear just what that message was supposed
- 19:39to be during the day. The apparitions of spirits began
- 19:44to manifest and stalk, the halls of the old Arnold estate.
- 19:49These were soon coupled by the horrible stench of Rotting Flesh
- 19:53wafting throughout the house. Soon, the girls weren't the only
- 19:58ones whose doors were slamming open and closed and whose beds
- 20:03were lifting up on their own soon.
- 20:06It was affecting their parents as well.
- 20:09One night, Carolyn woke up Suddenly to the figure of an old
- 20:13woman over the foot of her bed, her hair was like a sack of
- 20:17cobwebs with little tendrils hanging off.
- 20:21The woman's head was also been and hanging off to the side of
- 20:24her neck. As if it I was horribly broken
- 20:28and mangled or gnarled mouth screaming at her with an echoing
- 20:33voice. Get out.
- 20:35She shouted over and over again until she suddenly is no longer
- 20:42there, the Perrin family continue to endure a living
- 20:46nightmare as the traumatic Paranormal Activity, persisted
- 20:50and continue to scale and intensity.
- 20:57How does one fight an enemy? He can't see something he can't
- 21:01touch her feel attack, or defend against this question, and more
- 21:08must have ran through the heads of Roger and Carolyn as they not
- 21:11only feared for themselves, but especially their children.
- 21:15Now as their offsprings natural protectors, how anxiety-inducing
- 21:21must have been to know that they were powerless.
- 21:24Us to stop what was terrorizing all of them each and every
- 21:28night. In an effort to try and
- 21:31understand what was happening to them, Carolyn began to research
- 21:36the history of their house and was shocked by what she found
- 21:41over a generations of the Arnold family had lived and died within
- 21:46the home. Some, by horrible means,
- 21:51according to the Black Book of Burrillville, the town's former
- 21:54public records book, these included, two suicides by
- 21:58hanging one within the family Barn, one by Poison, the assault
- 22:04and murder of a young girl named Prudence Arnold by a farmhand to
- 22:10drownings in the nearby Creek and for men who froze to death
- 22:15amongst some of the notable deaths.
- 22:19One death, that caught her eye in particular, was that of a
- 22:23woman named Bathsheba Sherman. Her name was spelled exactly
- 22:27like their dog that they had previously owned and her story
- 22:32was as interesting as it was disturbing.
- 22:36Born Bathsheba there and 1812 she married fellow Rhode.
- 22:41Islander judson's German and Thompson Connecticut on March
- 22:4610th 1844. According to available
- 22:50information from that time. The two had a son named Herbert
- 22:55and for all intents and purposes, thanks seemed normal
- 22:59but that couldn't be further from the truth.
- 23:02After losing three children before the age of seven baths.
- 23:06I began to care for her neighbors children.
- 23:09Perhaps to fill the void the such sorrow could create and
- 23:13it's here where things take a strange turn while caring for
- 23:17the infant of a nearby family. The infant suddenly passed away
- 23:22within bathsheba's care an investigation ensued.
- 23:27And it was found that the child had a puncture wound in its
- 23:30skull. As if someone had taken a large
- 23:33sewing needle and sent it through the What's ahead rumors
- 23:38of devil worship and Witchcraft soon became Rife.
- 23:44With many believing, she had indeed sacrificed her children
- 23:47to Satan robbing them of their young lives.
- 23:51Although Bathsheba was never punished for the child's death.
- 23:55Since there was never a trial that didn't stop her behavior
- 23:58from becoming increasingly bizarre, she became incredibly
- 24:03reclusive strange and dark. Rumors say that she supposedly
- 24:11attempted to murder other children.
- 24:13While confessing her love for Satan before she then climbed
- 24:17Atop The Highest Tree on the estate cursing, everyone before
- 24:22hanging herself and although that would make for a much more
- 24:26fascinating story, it doesn't seem to be true.
- 24:30The rumors May indeed have been spread and there evidence of
- 24:34multiple child deaths, including the infant via needle-like.
- 24:38Object by her tombstone reads for death date as May 25th 1885.
- 24:45So odds are that she passed away as an old woman but perhaps
- 24:50given the circumstances she became more bitter with age.
- 24:55Another strange detail, that was uncovered, was one of the
- 24:58hanging deaths that took place within the barn on the estate.
- 25:03It was that of Catherine Arnold. She had seemingly out of the
- 25:07blue. One day made her way from the
- 25:09house to the barn, gathered, a rope and hung herself from the
- 25:15rafters. She was frozen solid and she was
- 25:19later. Discovered It seemed like
- 25:23whatever paranormal force that stalked, the land tormented the
- 25:27matriarchs of the families that lived there and fed upon death
- 25:32itself. These Supernatural occurrences
- 25:36that now plug the pair own family or a daily occurrence.
- 25:40They soon also began to physically touch the family as
- 25:44well. Poking soon turned to pushing a
- 25:48hand on the shoulder soon. Turned to Slappy scratchy.
- 25:52She and more. One day, when Carolyn was
- 25:57reading a book in the living, she felt a piercing pain in her
- 26:01calf upon further examination. She saw what appeared to be a
- 26:06puncture wound like that of a needle with a small dribble of
- 26:10blood. Now, coming out of her leg.
- 26:13These attacks didn't stop here. Carolyn soon believe that it was
- 26:19Bathsheba who was causing the majority of her problems.
- 26:23The spirit seemed to hide her things daily making her feel as
- 26:27if she was going insane. While simultaneously lusting
- 26:31after her husband in later interviews, Roger would state
- 26:36that he never felt threatened by her spirit that he only ever saw
- 26:41her sweeter side, such as comforting touches, and the
- 26:45feeling of an embrace, To the contrary, his poor wife
- 26:49experienced much much worse. Andrea Perrin.
- 26:55Also in later interviews said that the whole family believed
- 26:58it was the spirit of Bathsheba who is mostly tormenting Carolyn
- 27:04as if she saw herself as The Matriarch or the Mistress of the
- 27:08house and that Carolyn was some kind of competition, an obstacle
- 27:13between her and Rogers, affection on the verge of losing
- 27:18her mind and being tortured. Daily, the family was barely
- 27:22holding things together. Most of all Carolyn.
- 27:28She invented to a friend of hers named Barbara about what she had
- 27:31been going through and strangely enough.
- 27:34This friend, just so happened to attend a lecture that was being
- 27:38given by renowned paranormal Scholars and demonologists, Adam
- 27:43Lorraine Warren, it was Barbara that actually told the warns
- 27:48about the parents and their struggles Intrigued.
- 27:53They were put into Mutual contact with one another and
- 27:56before too long. The Warrens arrived at the front
- 27:59door of the old Arnold estate upon stepping into the home.
- 28:05For the first time Lorraine, Warren noticed a heavy and
- 28:09malevolent presence Upon further convening over the course of
- 28:14several weeks. The couple told the family that
- 28:17they indeed were being haunted by the spirit of Bathsheba, and
- 28:22that she had made a pact with Satan himself after sacrificing,
- 28:26one of her children to him. She then hung herself on the
- 28:30property in order to haunt it forever.
- 28:34This is why the family was often seeing the mangled necked
- 28:37Apparition of the woman with wispy hair.
- 28:41This was apparently her over the course of several months.
- 28:45The Warrens would visit the old Arnold estate in order to try
- 28:49and assist the family with ridding themselves of the
- 28:52spirits, but it was all to no avail.
- 28:55All of these events seem to culminate with a seance one
- 28:59stormy night. The peron's Roger and Carolyn
- 29:04along with the warrants were joined by a priest and a fellow
- 29:08medium to conduct a seance to try and establish further
- 29:12contact with the entities within the home to understand just, why
- 29:17they were plugging, the family, the girls were confined to their
- 29:21rooms upstairs. We're not allowed to partake in
- 29:24the ritual. The ritual was conducted in the
- 29:27basement. One of the alleged sources of
- 29:30the Dark Energy according to Lorraine, Warren.
- 29:34And in the middle of this ritual, Carolyn seemingly became
- 29:38possessed as she exhibited violent Behavior.
- 29:42She was restrained to a chair in order to prevent her from
- 29:45hurting herself and others. The Entity that.
- 29:49Now, inhabited, her body claimed to be that of Bathsheba and
- 29:54before everyone's eyes, that was present, Carolyn began to not
- 29:58only speak a language. That was unrecognizable.
- 30:01But in a voice that wasn't her own, she then began to levitate
- 30:06in the chair and flew across the room.
- 30:11Although they were forbid to witness the event as curious
- 30:15children, often do and Dre. Along with her sister, Cindy
- 30:19snuck, open the basement door and watched the events unfold
- 30:22for themselves. Their testimonies are also where
- 30:26some of these details are sourced from Carolyn was now
- 30:31mangled and distorted her body twisted, and an unnatural
- 30:36position. after several hours of attempting to cast the spirit
- 30:41out, she finally went limp and leg, catatonic on floor, After
- 30:48his wife had seemingly been freed, Roger called the entire
- 30:52thing off. He was not only concerned for
- 30:55his wife's well-being, but his children's as well, and all of
- 31:00the Warrens were trying to help things just seem to get so much
- 31:04worse when they were there. So, disregarding their advice,
- 31:09he through the mouth and forbid them and their Associates from
- 31:12ever investigating the hauntings at the old Arnold estate ever
- 31:17again. Later in life, a 77 year-old.
- 31:21Roger would recall she was possessed.
- 31:25Her entire body was distorted and it lasted several hours
- 31:30until they D demonized her. Then I threw them out.
- 31:35I couldn't take it anymore. The family's torment would
- 31:39continue with varying intensity until 1980 when they were
- 31:44finally able to sell the old Arnold estate and moved to
- 31:47Georgia and a bid to rebuild their lives.
- 31:51Finally, they were free of the horrible events that had plagued
- 31:55them for nearly a decade, but all those happenings, all those
- 32:00traumatic moments would never be forgotten by any of them.
- 32:05They all realized that they were truly lucky to have escaped with
- 32:09their lives, as well as their sanity.
- 32:13Going back and not only reading, various interviews and Draya,
- 32:16peron's books and watching interviews with the family, and
- 32:20not only seem genuine, but really had nothing to gain by
- 32:24claiming to have experienced these things.
- 32:27They truly seemed like they had suffered, I mean, they threw out
- 32:30the warrants, which is interesting in and of itself.
- 32:34But if I saw my wife twisted and exhibiting demonic Behavior, I
- 32:39probably would be pretty freaked out as well.
- 32:42The story of The Haunting of the old Arnold is State.
- 32:44And the / own family was used as the basis for The Conjuring
- 32:48movie in which they were also used as consultants, for
- 32:52accuracy sake. And the film does, of course,
- 32:56take Liberties as most Hollywood films do.
- 32:59But it's a good one for sure. But having watched this video,
- 33:03You're now probably aware of what really happened.
- 33:07Since the selling of the home reviews have been mixed by other
- 33:10residents with one, Lady claiming that the home wasn't
- 33:13haunted at all and even condemning in suing, The
- 33:16Conjuring filmmakers for causing her to stress do trespassers and
- 33:22others stating that the home is still very well.
- 33:24Haunted indeed. More current owners who will
- 33:28call Corey and Jennifer welcomed the spirits and the history of
- 33:32the home. When they moved in.
- 33:35Claiming to have only slept in the smaller wing of the estate
- 33:38for the first four months that they lived there.
- 33:41They didn't want to overstep their boundaries with whatever
- 33:43was Haunting the property. When they finally opened up the
- 33:47door to the wing of the larger part of the house, the very same
- 33:51night. They both claimed to be woken up
- 33:53by a shadowy figure. Their couple would say that.
- 33:56It was Pitch Black and color and peaking at them from behind the
- 34:00door frame. Although most people would be
- 34:03terrified at the prospect of dealing with a shadow figure of
- 34:07any sort, the couple understood that they were guests in this
- 34:10home, even though they had purchased it.
- 34:14And we're just excited to have experienced anything.
- 34:17But they also admit that although they do continue to
- 34:20experience strange things from time to time, it's nothing like
- 34:24what the parents say. They experienced nothing quite
- 34:27as malevolent or Evil By Any Means.
- 34:32Criticism and support the peron's to this day.
- 34:36Remain adamant that their story is true with Andreas saying in
- 34:40an interview with USA Today. Both my mother and I would soon
- 34:45as swallow our tongue than, tell a lie.
- 34:48People are free to believe whatever they want, but we know
- 34:51what we've experienced. Prior to her death.
- 34:55When asked about the events of the haunting Lorraine Warren
- 34:58claimed that she still felt traumatized.
- 35:01All these years later about what had taken place that stormy
- 35:04night during the Seance at the old Arnold estate saying that
- 35:09the things that happened there were so incredibly frightening.
- 35:13It is still affects me to talk about it to this day.
- 35:16She of course, was reunited with Ed on April 18th of 2019 God.
- 35:22Rest her soul. Soul these days, people who have
- 35:25visited the house, such as various paranormal groups,
- 35:29researchers and fans of The Conjuring Universe.
- 35:33Have described feeling multiple things for stepping in the home.
- 35:37Some claiming to see, shadow figures others, a feeling of a
- 35:41heavy presence to the points where it makes them nauseous
- 35:46regardless. They're certainly does seem to
- 35:48be something there. All around.
- 35:51I think the haunting given all the research I've done.
- 35:54It's more than likely the jit Emmitt.
- 35:56There's too many sources backing up, what took place not to
- 36:01mention the family didn't gain anything from experiencing what
- 36:04they did and surviving members still claim.
- 36:07It's all true to this day if you'd like to learn more.
- 36:11I'm listing the sources. I used for research in the
- 36:14description below as well, as various links, Dandrea peron's
- 36:18books, which tell the full story.
- 36:20Story of her and her family. I have course, I'm not
- 36:24affiliated with her or anyone else involved in any way.
- 36:28I just find them to be an interesting and very useful
- 36:31resource. So, if you find yourself in hard
- 36:35times and are presented with what seems like a gift from the
- 36:38universe, just know that if it's too good to be true, it probably
- 36:43is. And the dream home that you
- 36:46can't wait to live in, could be infested with generation.
- 36:50Ins of death and despair demons, which could still be lurking and
- 36:56stalking the property. So, my advice, if it sounds too
- 37:01good to be true, it is and please research a homes history
- 37:07before you buy it. Or you may be stuck with a
- 37:11decade of paranormal, torment or worse.
- 37:15You may become its newest permanent resident.
- 37:22Thank you all so much for watching.
- 37:24I would like to again, apologize for the wait.
- 37:27I've been conducting a ton of stuff behind the scenes and now
- 37:30that most of it settled or almost settled, I'll be making
- 37:33content more regularly. Again you could please do me a
- 37:36huge favor and like this video. If you enjoyed it, leave me a
- 37:40comment of your thoughts below and share it with a friend or on
- 37:43social media. All that stuff helps me out
- 37:46tremendously in the algorithm. Other than that, it's been a
- 37:50stressful start for me personally this year, but it's
- 37:53also been an exciting. I hope all of you are having a
- 37:56wonderful start to 2023 and I wish you nothing but the best.
- 38:01My goal is to help grow this community into one that supports
- 38:04and builds up its own. And I think we're doing an
- 38:07awesome job of that so far. So here's to many more moons, my
- 38:11friends. This has been Cody here at
- 38:14mystery archives. Stay safe out there.
- 38:17And take care. And take care.
