- 2:01[SPEAKER_04]: Paul, we got to start off with some very, very sad news that I think people just woke up to a couple days ago.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_04]: But unfortunately, Kazusada Hugguchi of DDT is retiring.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_04]: He was in for a medical checkup.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_04]: I think in January was it.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_04]: And his neck is just in bad, bad shape and to the point where he is retiring with a ceremony, but no final match.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_04]: And I think it's tragic.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think this definitely lowers my interest
- 2:29[SPEAKER_04]: and I think he's a bit of a what if because what if he was in another promotion or what if DDT pushed him harder I mean he had his moments now he's had it um other injuries in the past obviously that I think affected him like uh after his first title run but he had another great title run last year that was way too short if you ask me and yeah Paul what are your thoughts and how do you feel about this effects DDT?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_06]: I think, yeah, I mean, it is a loss.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's a loss for wrestling as a whole.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's more of a loss of wrestling as a whole than it is for DDT itself.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_06]: Make sense.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, absolutely.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_06]: Because I think DDT will be fine without him.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_06]: They're doing pretty damn great.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_06]: They're setting up for the future, and they're creating new main event.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_06]: That's an everything.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_06]: But I feel like he's always like, well, what Cody have done, like a different promotion as well.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I actually would have loved him to spread his wings a bit more, go and do some mattress and do some mattress and all Japan, maybe go like do a couple of mattress and like,
- 3:30[SPEAKER_06]: New Japan or whatever, or maybe like jumping to New Japan.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, so like I feel like it's done what he, everything he possibly could have done in DDT.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_06]: I actually wouldn't have been shocked if he had eventually just said, you know, like the cash that we for him or end on a way as well, or like he boozy, right?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_06]: Like that seems to be the thing, like the people that have done everything in DDT, kind of like excluding Hirashima, kind of tend to like go somewhere else.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, that's never going to happen now, so we're never going to see that, which is a shame, but I mean, what we got from him was pretty damn amazing.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_06]: So I guess that's at least something.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely, I think it's fair to call one of the most underrated restors of the last decade.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_04]: You think that's fair?
- 4:21[SPEAKER_06]: No, I think that's very fair, yeah, no, I mean, it's like the basically like I don't think like they're like like I think if you're like a casual just like let's say like mostly like your own your most your exposure to borrow is like watching new Japan
- 4:39[SPEAKER_06]: then you probably have no idea who he good is.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_06]: Like you might have heard of Kai to kill me.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_06]: I might have heard of Ken to Miyahara, but like I don't think that's anyway, like those people have heard of like he good.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_06]: And I like, forget like anybody that is like made like American wrestling.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_06]: Right, they definitely haven't heard of a Gucci.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, I definitely think he is very, very unburated.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_06]: But I mean, what of the reasons for that is also because he's had like a lot of injury or issues as well.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_04]: He has.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_04]: It's not completely surprising if you really think about it that.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_06]: No, I saw that announcement that my immediate thing was like, oh yeah, he's retiring.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: He's toast, yeah.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, shame.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_06]: I, I mean, I at least was hoping that maybe he could have had like it was like an announcement he's going to have like a retirement match or something, but yeah, like sounds like his neck is just done on and it's probably better to just retire even without a match.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and now I saw someone point to start on, on social media.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think, um, yeah, every member of a ruptured is retired.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: Except what was Okotani in a ruptured?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_06]: It's me Okotani Okotani was in a ruptured.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_06]: So he's the only one that still.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_06]: But the ruptured ruptured is gone.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, those three are all retired, which is kind of wild.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, it is, but the thing is they all sort of had done everything they could have done in DDT as well.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, no, they have.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I mean, Sakaguchi was like, what, near 50?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_04]: Or was he over 50, even?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, Sakaguchi is the one that makes like the most sense.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_06]: Like he was by far the oldest and there.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_06]: Like the other two H.O.I.s.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_06]: aren't that old, really?
- 6:24[SPEAKER_04]: No, I think early retirement.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_04]: They could have centered a TJP W and made her the princess champions, but they didn't like, no, you know, so.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_04]: that is what it is.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_04]: So I think, you know, she retired and yeah, I mean, good you've only cared in champion twice, but it felt like you did all that he could do in that company.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, I mean, like because that's a thing.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's tighter rinse might have been like short.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_06]: Terror, I suppose.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_06]: But I mean, like generally like when he like his mattress asked champion, we're always like incredibly like dominant.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_06]: even if the rain weren't like short that if they fell more impactful but yeah I don't know like I think that's the other thing like it's a shame that he's retiring now but at the on the other hand I think he had a really good career it's like he's kind of right in that sweet spot right like he's he's young to retire but he's not like too young to retire basically
- 7:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_06]: So like he had a full career.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_06]: He could have had a full career, but it's not like I can say like it's like a big like, oh, he like retired like way to young and we never really didn't know what he could have been.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_06]: Like we know what he was like we know what he like we know that that's why I wanted him to be another promotions, right?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_06]: Because I knew that he was going to be great there for sure.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_06]: Because from everything I've seen from that I've seen him do in DDT.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_06]: I knew he was going to be amazing if he had chosen
- 7:55[SPEAKER_06]: go somewhere else but just based on the stuff he's done in DDT it was like a full like a lot of wrestlers would kill to have had like Kansas out of Higuchi's career.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah so yeah I mean the funny thing is I can't think about a retirement of a main eventer but early retirement of a main eventer that's had less impact on his home promotion than Higuchi's if you think about it.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, I'm it's like it's weird like that yeah, I mean I guess I you know what similar like I guess maybe similarly because that wasn't the retirement but it's like eerie leaving DDT had no impact on DDT either yeah and she was a main event at there too so I guess that that like I'm trying to think of any kind of similar case right of like a guy
- 8:45[SPEAKER_06]: at that level in the promotion like leaving or retiring and it's not really match I guess so I know Jake it's endo Jake leaving yeah yeah Jake also leaving no Jake leaving no yeah
- 9:05[SPEAKER_06]: Like those are like the only cases I can think of, like it just kind of feels like, like obviously, like it basically was like, you're an important part of the promotion, but the fact that you're gone out, does not matter.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_06]: It's weird, like, and it feels mean to compare he Gucci to those cases, because like obviously it's like a different situation.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_06]: But like, yeah, I don't know, like it's, it's a shame for wrestling and it's a inconvenience for DDT.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_04]: Russell's out there really when he's on top and gets the big main events always always delivered okay, I like a Gucci match a big Gucci match I didn't deliver
- 9:45[SPEAKER_06]: No, like when I saw the announcement like the thing my mind went to from like the Hirashima rain last year or the Hirashima, the butering is tied to rain the match with Hirashima where like the finish for that like right when Hirashima like went for the paint he Gucci just kicks out immediately grabs him like muscles him up and like claw slams him for the wind like absolutely like like serial killer like finished basically just yeah insane guy
- 10:14[SPEAKER_04]: So we'll turn to you because we're going to start with this, but then the Gucci thing happened, but tell us about it.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_04]: 16 can it.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I really enjoyed 16 characters.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_06]: I brought out my, uh, I brought out my, my new camera that I bought.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, it, it arrived in time.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_06]: So I was actually able to take some pictures.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_06]: I had to get some pointers from rich.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, because on the first night, I, uh, didn't set up.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_06]: I just took pictures and I was like, oh, I probably need to like, you know,
- 10:45[SPEAKER_06]: So I can't just do this like I do with like a phone camera right, just take pictures and just open works like I actually have to like manually do the settings for this, but then I didn't manage to grab some really really nice pictures.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_06]: You so you know what my heart take is coming out of 16 characters what my heart take is to see a night or so turn heel because yeah so nighto was in 16 characters right and.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_06]: On basic on night two, he was facing a whore, who was like, the big, like, like, he's like the biggest baby face in like Germany right now.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_06]: I would say, or like, well, not the biggest baby face in Germany is the biggest baby face in, uh, in WXW for sure.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_06]: And I would argue he's probably like, I think you can make an argument.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_06]: He's the best wrestler in Europe right now.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_06]: He's insanely underrated, but basically the whole thing was like, I mean, a hurrah, hurrah thing was like that he had never won 16 karat.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_06]: And so going into the tournament, he said that he was going to retire if he doesn't win the tournament.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_06]: Spoiler, he did eventually win the tournament, it was great, it was awesome moment.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_06]: But on Night 2, he was facing Tetsuya Naito, right?
- 12:02[SPEAKER_06]: And both guys are technically supposed to be baby faces.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_06]: So it's like, and basically when everybody saw like Naito announced, everybody was like, okay, Naito is going to be like eliminated via bullshit.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_06]: Like there's no way Naito is like taking a clean pen.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_06]: So him being up here against the horror people were like, well, our horror is like a baby face.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_06]: And nighto is a baby face and there's no way nighto is like, job and clean.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_06]: So there was this feeling, I think there was this feeling in the building where it's like, okay, it's this old broken down guy.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_06]: And he's gonna like retire the most beloved guy in the company.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_06]: And so the crowds started brewing the shit out of nighto.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_06]: And, and I do, you know, as ever like a guy that came up in like Tanahashi generation or like, you know, like in Tanahashi's new Japan basically.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_06]: You know, he sees like it was like, oh, I'm getting bored.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I'm gonna like, fucking lean into that.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_06]: And like, his match with a horror is like, the best it's for you and I to sing as match in like a long time, I will say.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_06]: Like that was a genuinely good match.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I mean, part of it was just a horror taking some absolutely fucking insane bumps.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_06]: But I think also like just kind of working here just being more vicious, just,
- 13:25[SPEAKER_06]: you know, like not having to like not having to like sell as much, not having to like, you know, like being more than a little bit debuting able to do more character work worth a lot more here.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_06]: But it wasn't even that he was cheating really.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_06]: It was just more him just being a fucking asshole and not him being, you know, they're like asshole and like the tongue and cheekway way, like you cheer for him because I, it's the anighter, but like it was actually just like no nighter, go fuck yourself, right?
- 13:51[SPEAKER_06]: And I think that work really well.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_06]: But I think that's an argument to be made at night or so turn, but not in like he joined like team 2,000 eggs, but more like the night or just leans way heavier into being an asshole.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_06]: And it's not tongue and cheek, it's actually just like in a hateable way.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that makes sense because we'll talk about night or some more later and I think that's sort of, you know, it's something for him to do as we'll get into because, you know, I
- 14:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because right now he's just doing like whatever spots he can still do, which isn't a lot of them.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think he definitely needs something you to do and who knows?
- 14:36[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, maybe that's something.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we've been talking until we were blue in a face about like, oh, they're going to do like a double turn with Kaito and Tosa when I don't think that's happening anymore.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_06]: And I know what the fuck is going to
- 14:53[SPEAKER_06]: But who knows, I mean, maybe that's something that's coming.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_06]: I think definitely like, I think it's risky to turn into in Japan.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_06]: I don't even know if it could work, but like if you can make it work, I think it would work really, really well.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think you have to be very deliberate than how you're doing it.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_06]: But I think if you manage to pull it off, I think that's like exactly what night it needs.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_06]: Like to like revitalize this career because whatever they're doing right now, I don't think it's working very well.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so the next topic, uh, so it was announced that New Japan seems to be looking for juniors, including, uh, Dragon Dia, and also Ryoma Sugamoto, which was, uh, came out of left field.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_06]: I thought that one was that one, I was, that's the one I'm most shocked about to actually.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_04]: Well, especially because who knows how good it's me is, yeah, right?
- 15:52[SPEAKER_04]: didn't, like him, he would tire because he got two knee injuries.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_04]: Or he, you know, quote unquote, retire from all the Japan, because he had a couple knee injuries in quick succession, right?
- 16:03[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and also like he just announced that he was going to like take a step back as well, because allegedly like his knee was acting up.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_04]: But he went to the try to for the dojo.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: So who knows what that's all about if they end up signing him.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_04]: And so they're in the market for junior heavyweets because, uh, well, Paul, I think in a different world of master water was more of a dynamic performer.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe having this conversation.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, okay, I mean, did you see, sorry, sorry, just for quick, see the sparkle like quiz thing that was posted in the voice of wrestling slag, which was about like, you know, like the like, the previous like, the final, the winners and finalists of the best of the Super Junior.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yes, you're saying.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I did really badly on that because like no joke, legitimately half the time, I was looking at the 2020 free-best of the super juniors, which is not that long ago, that's three years ago.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_06]: And I for the life, I remember who they had a finalist was, what life of me, I could did not remember that Master Water won that tournament.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_06]: That tells you everything you need to know about Master Water.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_04]: And they didn't even do the normal follow-up that they would usually do.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, no.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_06]: He's just been like completely fucking like back down the pecking order right after.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_04]: And that's like three years ago.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he's fucking either fucking nothing.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_04]: I felt like at one point he was about to turn the corner and then he didn't do anything.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_04]: No, but that was like now like in 2023 now anyway, so yes, they need juniors and but so I only bring this question up is I don't think they're going to punch anyone from Noah unless you think they might But I mean, he's already going to coach from Noah right like yeah, I mean, I think there's a 0% chance they're going to coach like dike odoshima like I mean if they want to eat it, they can have them
- 17:59[SPEAKER_06]: I'm very much like and then otherwise I think the other guys are just like two holes.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_06]: That's the thing.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_06]: Like I mean, then even out of the young guys Kai Fujimura, I don't see 100.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, maybe one of maybe like one or maybe one or both of the like blue like the brothers like Dragon Bay and or Alpha Wolf.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, other thing is they might want to go to WWE.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's the other thing that got that's more likely.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_04]: Definitely totally.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_04]: So that I so I put in notes here on the run sheet.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they're under contract, but next to January, could they like take rise in Kaya, don't we're even at ski or the A or Yaki brothers?
- 18:45[SPEAKER_06]: Like what I actually could see, that actually could see, I mean, it depends kind of what like happens with, like, arts gives brother, right, like what happens with humor, like over like the next year or so.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_06]: Well, maybe if he gets like kind of disgruntled after a while, because he probably has lost a lot of power, I mean, I don't know, I think that actually could be a good move for both of them, and to be quite, I mean, with arts gear, right?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_06]: Is it actually a bad thing if you leave?
- 19:13[SPEAKER_04]: No, I don't know.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't be able.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_04]: Y'all keep brothers aren't as I feel like you asked me two years ago I was like, oh man, if they were both to go would be a disaster.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I think that's me need a case anymore, yeah, but I would say if they like it would be bad if they post like multiple juniors and took like hiado as well.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, no, no, no.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_06]: If it's multiple people, that's bad.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, um,
- 19:39[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, like, you know, like, you've got, and so you've got, well, someone else will about we'll talk about later and possibly even more guys going into the dojo.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_04]: So, I mean, what's the, I feel like you, Ayoyaki is a lot more expendable than he was a year or two ago.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, no, he is, he is for sure.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I think it still would be a loss for the promotion, but again, like, they have other, like, young guys and abski would be a loss as well, but I also, like, I don't know, like, we just went through a title reign where we were both really, really disappointed with him because he just- Both his title reigns in the world on fire.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_04]: No, they really haven't.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_04]: Now, to be fair,
- 20:22[SPEAKER_04]: Um, he, um, he did have a good match, he gets dark and Jiba, yes.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_06]: No, he did, he did.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_06]: But it's like, I think especially in this past title, we're in a very much for like, I don't know, it felt like, like, it just really felt like he don't still doesn't really know how to properly structure a match.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_06]: which like if you're supposed to be like the ace of the promotion is or the ace of the division rather it's bad like you should like in your second title when you should know how to structure a match like a big match as well and he still doesn't really know how to do that yeah so and you know he's in trouble like you know and like let's be honest the booking got a lot tighter
- 21:05[SPEAKER_04]: And better up and down the car, and I'd say he got suspended, but yeah, right, your conclusions, whether that's because he was gone or whether that's because go has a hand in it.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, right?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_04]: We don't know.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_04]: Why not?
- 21:18[SPEAKER_04]: Why not both?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_04]: Why not both?
- 21:25[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, exactly.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_04]: Well, since I hinted at it, I was going to talk about it later.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_04]: Let's talk about it because all Japan might have another super rookie on their hands, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration and a bold statement to make.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_04]: But, um, yeah, uh, so Genki Hanoa, Genki Hanoa, he is a little older.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_04]: He's like 25 or 26.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_04]: And he, um, at the Judo background, his dad is a comedian and, um, he got, I think directed
- 21:55[SPEAKER_04]: and everything like that.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_04]: So this fits both of, well, some of Fakudas interested in having crossovers with entertainment plus a guy that has a strong combat sports background, right?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, it does.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_04]: So he's only like 180 centimeters, but he's like 110 kilos.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_04]: So he's
- 22:23[SPEAKER_04]: Ayoyagi, but he's a little thick and everything like that, right?
- 22:30[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, he's an eye to keep someone to keep an eye on for sure, and I would assume I would expect certain decent things from him, I think.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: And all the more reason I'm like, who cares what happens to you, but yeah, that's fine enough.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_06]: No, I'd be definitely like, I think there's something you can do with him, right?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it's, I think, and like, no one here is for sure, I have a way that I think I don't think it's even debatable, like again, he's a little on the small end for all Japan, good.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, like, I think, yeah, again, as I said, because it's a bit thicker, it probably are going to like, put them at heavyweight and everything.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_06]: And with that background, I mean, that's just the kind of background at all, Japan, out of all promotions, just like loss, right?
- 23:16[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that's just exactly the guys they want to get in, and yeah, I'm going to, I'm going to be interested to see, like, what he can do.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and apparently judging by these, by these translated notes from a
- 23:34[SPEAKER_04]: uh... from which uh... from the uh... show on uh... the twenty-eighth uh... hold to a barris taken over dojo training and uh... it sounds like more than just uh... hanoi is reporting to the dojo in april apparently so that's a good sign they they're bringing some guys because they had to try to disember yeah
- 23:56[SPEAKER_06]: Also, I mean, I definitely have to bury my uh, uh, uh, Hokato's leaving theory.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_06]: I think that one is very dead now.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I think it's, yeah, I think it might just be more that he's like pulling back a little just so you can focus on a dojo than I guess.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_06]: That might be why he's not in the champion kernel and everything.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_06]: And you know what?
- 24:17[SPEAKER_06]: Think it's probably good position and also, well, he we used to be the guy that was in charge of the dojo.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_04]: Mr. Aoyagi.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_06]: So that's another like probably like lost booking power seems to have lost like like the head position in the dojo.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_06]: So he's he's for sure getting punished.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_06]: I think it just see how much of a bag he actually will be.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's probably back before the carnival not to not to put him in it.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and then he's like every single match he's been and so far as the opening match.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, so that's a good news for all Japan and Paul.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_04]: This is sort of breaking news on today.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: The day record on March 25th, but on the maple leaf pro show this weekend, the double header and Windsor on Tario, uh, kind of key is was already announced on the show.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_04]: So we knew that, but it's a, it's a was announced at the first MLP, uh, taking champions are going to be crowned and, uh,
- 25:15[SPEAKER_04]: and it's going to be a four-way tanky master storm determined the first champions.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_04]: And the match is Bryce Henson and Sheldon Jeane, versus the gates of agony, agony, versus the good brothers, versus it's kind of key of me and Bishop Dyer.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_04]: What?
- 25:32[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you didn't see this?
- 25:33[SPEAKER_04]: No, I haven't seen this yet, no.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_04]: So, how I must ask is Bishop Dyer, can't a surprise?
- 25:43[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that is a guy that he has, like, like they were in NXT together.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_06]: Wasn't, wait, wasn't Ken'ta even the one that ended like, like, unbeaten, like, streak, like, wasn't like, wasn't Baron Corbin, like undefeated for a while
- 26:03[SPEAKER_06]: uh... uh... david beat him oh really ok
- 26:06[SPEAKER_06]: I think I don't know.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_06]: I might be completely misremembering that, but like they definitely were like in NXT Together like that that one.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_06]: I'm pretty sure of let me let me just double check that real quick because that should be pretty much at the beginning, right?
- 26:23[SPEAKER_04]: He was on the main roster for a while like he might at 2018 he was on the main roster
- 26:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so, oh, because it doesn't count the NXT things as, uh, it's not separate.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_06]: And it doesn't count NXT STV.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I definitely know he was, he was like unbeaten for a while, yeah.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so, how do you feel about this?
- 26:54[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, that's not a, that's not a great addition really like that's kind of, I don't know, just, I mean, he's not very good.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_04]: This show, this feels very, all Japan ask.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_06]: Great man.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it very much does.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_06]: It very much feels like an all Japan like, like, May 2000's like guide to bring in.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_04]: I was even talking about right now.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I mean, I mean, more than terms of like being an extra, well, no actually way to answer.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, but he has to think now that only bringing in guys that didn't even really make WWE TV.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_04]: That's true, yes.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_06]: like a guy that was like on WETV for years and then gets brought in and then like I don't know like you know put him an R&D like that that's the that's the era I was thinking of not like re-binging guys that washed out of NXT after like six months.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_06]: Because they were to own like like fucking like like Bishop Dias or Sparen Corbin was there for like a long
- 28:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he started on the main roster in 2016, which seems very long to go, right?
- 28:08[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, it's 10 years ago.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's also 41.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a guy I would bring in.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they do, but then if they bring him in and he teams of Kaito, then he's just going to like, he's obviously going to turn on Kaito, immediately and show him team to focus on Kaito.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's so funny.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_04]: But what are you going to do?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_04]: I think that it could be a key, obviously,
- 28:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's spinning his world because maybe I think did you have one AEW tryout match?
- 28:40[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even know.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he did see that actually he had a dark match on dynamite.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and he's just been an NLW otherwise.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, he probably needs his job.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_04]: So maybe it will be about, you know, but we'll see.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_04]: So, we'll go over to the shows and we start all going all the way back to March 8th.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_04]: I shouldn't keep a first ring for great, the debt UW8 version 8, which was available on YouTube.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_04]: And probably 128 thing, like that's less than half of should keep this maximum capacity.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, they got outrun but see her for one.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: I know.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_04]: I did not watch this whole show.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: I just watched the top two matches.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, and what?
- 29:27[SPEAKER_04]: I know you're number a and write you hit versus write you can you cut it?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_04]: How could I forget that?
- 29:33[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_04]: New more, new more versus can you cut it?
- 29:36[SPEAKER_04]: six minutes, nice, solid little match, and tomorrow went with TKO.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_04]: I had to say the best match to the show, Takenori, you know, defeated Tetsuya, Zuchi in 907 by TKO to become the number one contender to the UW- the debt UW- of world title.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I don't know, maybe three, three corners and then made of it.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_04]: Someone wants an hobby to defeat a cat, so he could not consume in 646 with TKO from a sleeper hole.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_04]: And I think you have failed on his eighth defense and Wattinabi is the fourth champion.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_04]: So you know, it's challenging Wattinabi first.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_04]: This was fine, but a little dry, you know, like three and a quarter, three and a half.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_04]: So I thought the show was fine, but we needed a more explosive main event for sure.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_04]: And I think Naka Jima works a couple of dates after that, but do you think he's dealt with the great?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's like, I mean, great seems to be in like cut, cost cutting mode, right?
- 30:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_06]: So that's like a really really obvious one.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that's a really obvious expense that you can cut.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_06]: It's like not a dreamer.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_06]: And like, like, what is he going to do there now?
- 30:47[SPEAKER_04]: Like, nothing since they didn't put the G-Rax title on him.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_04]: No, I mean, no, they did.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_04]: He was double champion.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, very briefly, though.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, no, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very
- 31:00[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, like I think it feels like it's time for like it very clearly seems like he's like moving his way over to like zero one.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: So he's worked.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so he's worked three great shows since then.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_04]: But all like six man undercard matches.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that definitely does not seem like they're positioning him to like make a run at the like D-Rex or anything like that.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I think zero one, like I said, the second best place for him.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's good as zero one.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_04]: That was on March 20th.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_04]: That shouldn't keep it first ring drag a 191 fans.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_04]: So I only watched the top three matches on this junior match and I'll get to feed it.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_04]: Suka Takasato in 1041 with the beasting.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_04]: Very solid match.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_04]: I thought good solid three and a half star match.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_04]: Paul, did you watch the show?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_04]: Did you not watch the great show?
- 31:53[SPEAKER_06]: No, I did.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_06]: I did.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, we watched the great.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: And you want to show either, right?
- 31:59[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, there's zero one show zero one.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_06]: No, I wanted to that one.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_06]: I wanted to watch, but like at the three, both gone.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_04]: So that was solid.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_04]: And then it sent me to the Masado Tanaka versus Tuesday, Chicago in 1530.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_04]: She was just calling 1532 with a signed D. I'd go like 3 3 quarter stars.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_04]: This about as good as I think you're going to get from these two guys that are now over 50 years old.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_04]: So they actually did do some good bombs and worked as hard as they could and it was it was pretty good.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I would say this.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I did see an excellent like four star match from like Masado Tanaka.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_06]: This year already, like in person.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_06]: Because it's him by Taya Boosa.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_06]: So, but yeah, I mean, again, I think, but that's also Haia Boosa.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_06]: We're like Haia Boosa can take all the bombs.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_06]: Whereas like, yeah, get Shuji Shikawa that gets a bit more difficult.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_04]: And then in the main event, Katsuhiko Nakajima defeated Haia Boosa in 254 with the Northern Lights bomb.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_04]: Again, I would probably go in like three and a half, three and three quarter range.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_04]: I felt like that could be more was holding back.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_04]: And by holding back, I don't mean not trying to injure high boosted with kicks, but I mean like these guys haven't in the match coming up.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_04]: That's the vibe I sort of got from this match for sure.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, and because it's probably like, it's basically a preview match for like,
- 33:17[SPEAKER_06]: him or his Hayabusa at like the Nakajima like produce show.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_06]: But then it's also weird like Nakajima then going to lose on his own show or is he just going to beat Hayabusa twice or would be also.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_04]: It could be a half hour draw or something.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_04]: And that's why I think Hayabusa will beat him but I would be.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_04]: Look, if
- 33:40[SPEAKER_04]: If Nakajima has to put over Hayabusa this quickly, I would say that he's got a desperate for work.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, what do you think of this?
- 33:52[SPEAKER_06]: As I said, like I do, like a time limit draw at the produce show, and then Nakajima and the Fire Festival.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_06]: And then you do Nakajima versus Hayabusa and the Fire Festival final.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_06]: And then Hayabusa beats him there and then he beats probably that Tanaka Matsunaga for the title.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_04]: I'm down with that one.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_04]: That's good.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
- 34:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_06]: And given that could be something to actually like do.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_04]: So I would say that this match just showed continue.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_04]: What I think is pretty good right.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_04]: The continuing pretty good run for zero one.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_04]: It's been getting some attention this year, mostly because of the new high boosts of gimmick, I mean, that's the sort of thing that's, that's bringing people in, but it's delivering, but mind you, I mean, this is a very simple, simple stuff and everything like that.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_04]: So they've got their 25th anniversary show coming up on April 3rd, it's in Juku face, and
- 34:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's going to be, we're going to see Hi-Busa versus Bouchy.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I mean, I won't say this, like Bouchy, I mean, he's not like it's his Bouchy, right?
- 35:11[SPEAKER_06]: But I was like, he'd be like out of him and I think it's the one that is trying harder in this like whole like LTJ thing.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, that's fair.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_06]: Like you know who like because I can like I literally can also tell you like The guy that was always at the merch table was bushy like night or was there occasionally But like bushy literally was there every single fucking night like manning the merch table.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah Like he seems to be the guy that is actually motivated to like make this into like a thing that like it's something Yeah
- 35:45[SPEAKER_04]: and uh uh it's not listed on the website but i'm pretty sure about the not just challenging to knock it for the world title, right?
- 35:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yeah, because the only match listed on this is uh high boost services boost sheet on the zero-one website.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_04]: But so that looks like a good show, uh, I'll be excited to see that.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_04]: We'll move quickly on to DDT Judgment 2026.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_04]: the five-hour special, which I just definitely didn't watch five hours of, if I don't, we watched the main event of this show, but Paul, you watched some more of the other cards, or you didn't watch the whole show either.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, I don't pick, pick and choose.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, thank God that, like, Russell Universe has the, like, chapter-lessy can just write drum to the match that you want to go to.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_06]: So, no, I would, June, Akiyama, Vizrukiya.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_06]: Um, yeah.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_06]: I was like a great like Junaki.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like torturing a young boy type match.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_06]: I think Ruka has like a lot of potential as well.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_06]: Like showed good fire like Gave like like he really like tried to like give it to Akiyama as well.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah
- 36:47[SPEAKER_06]: No, that was pretty good.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_06]: Like that.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_06]: I also watched the like the KOD tag team title like contendership match because I wanted to like check in on Junta Miyawaki, but as always, it's Junta Luther's law, but I mean, at least it's in like a higher profile thing where it's like an actual like, you know, like contendership match on a big show and everything.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_06]: No, I like that one as well.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_06]: Again, Hirashima is still pretty damn great.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know how the huge fan of Sheneyoki, but he did fine.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_06]: Junta, again, seemed very, very motivated and this as well.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_06]: He really, like he had a really great shot battle before Hirashima, at the very end of the match before Hirashima, like Pintam.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, he definitely seems very, very motivated, then I skipped everything after that until we went all the way to like, to catch diverse as he wrote her where he wrote her like got like the entrance with like John Robinson like John Robinson being like the guy that like
- 37:53[SPEAKER_06]: sings the like theme song.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_06]: Like he's the guy that did like the Tokyo, like that he's that guy.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_06]: And he can still do it like he's old enough, but like he did an entire song life and he did pretty damn great.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_06]: And then the match itself there was like basically just comedy well like basically two times to catch it just immediately penta rada and then basically like the erada like played of a fictic cast on everything and then eventually it settled on that like essentially that erada would only need a two count and but the caster would need a 20 count and that went a little bit longer.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_06]: uh, including like, uh, to cash that during like the whole like getting like the sunglasses doing the dance, but then he got low blowed by John Robinson, uh, but still, the thing is like he wrote, I kept kicking out at like 16, 17, or whatever, uh, and then eventually to cash that was just like, okay, fuck this, we said it was a 20 count, but nobody said anything about a tap out and he just like put him in a Boston crap and tap them out.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_06]: Um, so yeah, I mean comedy match, but I enjoyed it for what it was, uh, then you had, uh, the universal title match, Rayhead, uh, Kazuma Suomi, the feeling, the dice kesaki, uh, in 1648, were for schoolboy to win the title.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_06]: Um, it was good.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's about as good as I guess a non-plunder like Dyskussesaki like match can be in 2026 or 25, 25, 25, okay, just go on for too long.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_06]: Um, so yeah, I liked it.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it was also like a bit of an upset for Sumi as well.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_06]: So like it was one of those things for like the crowd like all of the gas when he actually got the winner and they were like, oh my god, he actually did it Because nobody like expected like This is a hockey to like lose this match Especially not on his first offense like he had just won the Universal title as well
- 40:00[SPEAKER_06]: So definitely an upset, I mean, I think it actually worked nicely and like making to me like more, more of a guy basically, although the next match definitely that's one that like where DDT managed to make another guy and that's the main event.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, for the community, open-weight title, you can go and know the feeds canon and 25, 12 with the WR.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_06]: And I think you watched that one as well, right?
- 40:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I, I, this story when I watched and I was quite impressed.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_04]: I do think, I'm not sure, I like this.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_04]: I would probably go four stars.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_04]: I just think that Canon looked a little lost at for a 25-minute match, although you ain't now really did hold this together.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you ain't out doing a bunch of stuff and then like Canon would get like this big layer it out of nowhere just do a whole spot in and that sort of thing just a little form you like, but I really did like the ending where You know, can't try to get up out of the blackout sleeper and then you know as soon as Canon gets up.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_04]: You know, he's still holding on and he turns it into the WR for the win.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_04]: That was really cool though.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that was a fucking really cool finish.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_06]: I actually liked like the how they kind of like built like the back half of the matter around the sleep.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_06]: I think they did that really well.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, when I was so good like right like when or it's really like he has like put it all together.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think he is like because the cash
- 41:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, and I'll say that's like, I mean, these are just little grapes from like, you know, it's kind of like a hundred percent main eventer.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: I think you will be very shortly, and I think this match was like obviously a sign that he will be.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_04]: So don't take my criticisms too hardly, but it's not why I'm giving it four and a half stars or something, but I think these guys could probably do that in the future to me completely honest.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, I definitely feel like this is, I would be shocked if there's the only time we see this as a KOD, like, type of man.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_04]: It's hard because I feel like it was not long ago.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_04]: People went, um, not long after, uh, Canon came into, um, the T people were down on him because, well, they just saw him in the ammunition T8 doing, you know, dice case is locking his bidding and that sort of thing.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he never really liked like because yeah, he was just like the lackey for a while and like I think he really has like worked hard like since like he left damn nation to really really like improve and I think like again like he got rewarded with it and and
- 42:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, he's the fucking tag team champions, well, I think they're very, very, like it's very, very obvious that they're trying to like make another main eventer and yeah, I think they've succeeded.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, I don't know if he's going to be screwed, but he's kind of taking the good to you.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, as the big, yes, yeah, like who knows when DDT like new that like the Gucci was done, but like, I mean, I didn't get it.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_06]: But then they probably will already like we probably need to like post like another guy like off that kind of like vein basically.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, for sure.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: And I mean, I love their match with the King of DDT finals last year.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: Who Gucci vs. Cannon.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_06]: which is kind of honest like real coming out party yeah no i think i i think i think i think it's a solid prediction to let's say like cananvins like the kod title in the next free years i think that's a fair assessment like i don't think he's like winners with it now right yeah but i don't think he's with it maybe not but with dbt you don't have to be like is this guy going to be champion in five years he probably will be because
- 43:43[SPEAKER_04]: They don't follow the such the strict structures for traditional man's companies do, right?
- 43:48[SPEAKER_04]: So, I mean, look at Sumi, right, on this very show.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you do, in 2022.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_04]: And as you, a wrestler was like four years of experience winning the GHG national title, you know, trying to, yeah, I don't think there's anybody, no, not really.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, to be fair, I mean, you have Osava winning, they're like,
- 44:11[SPEAKER_06]: Actually, like the big title of like what like two years experience.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_04]: I forgot about Osawa there, but it's not generally the case.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_06]: No, it is not generally the case.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like generally it takes a lot longer.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_06]: I'd like for example, like Weno didn't like win like the KOD title until like the end of 2020 free, which like he made his debut in 2016.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_06]: So.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_04]: And then it was announced that on in Sumo Hall on August 11th, we're getting Kenosuke Kakashinov versus Kaising Takachi.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_06]: Paul, that's big much.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_06]: Did the crowd gas for that?
- 44:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and they're going to sell out Sumo Hall.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, because here's the thing, like you can't put the an absolute dog shed card on the leaf.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_06]: Like DDT can just book like the worst fucking show underneath that.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't matter, like you can, like whatever title match, like, okay, here's two ways you can go.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_06]: Either you put on a title match of two people you want to showcase to the biggest crowd possible.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_06]: Or you book an absolute fucking throw away title match underneath that because it doesn't matter.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_06]: Because it's gonna sell out anyway.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you might want it.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_04]: If you want on that show, maybe you want to make a guy and have them beat you.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_04]: You ain't know for the title.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_04]: Like someone that's never held the title before.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like a canon.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think Mal is getting this year either, but now, now or, yeah, the more I'm thinking about it, the more I'm thinking it's going to be Mal, you should just do like, yeah, I have now beat them at some of the whole, yeah.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_04]: So that is a DVT.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_04]: And then we finally move on to Noah, Apex Conquest, 2026 of Yoko Hama, great name, and March 8th, and Yoko Hama, Brutacon, in front of 1,904 fans of Paul, that's really good for Noah in this building.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like they've traditionally drawn like absolute, like pretty badly in that building.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_04]: And Paul, do you think Mr. Smack Daddy is a drawer
- 46:32[SPEAKER_06]: I mean again, like we were just saying right because like when we recorded last recorded we were like oh it's just actually selling well and this would be like a black mark Transinemora if it doesn't actually sell well and now that it's sold well well I think we kind of need to flip it and say well I mean all of his title defenses have like sold pretty well
- 47:03[SPEAKER_06]: like the big nitomatter and everything, but like, yeah, yeah, I don't know, but like still like again, like if he's just on this, if he's just on top of these shows and like they keep selling well, like then he has to get credit for that.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure that he's necessarily like a bigger draw than Osawa, but he's not far off.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_06]: No, I mean, it definitely, it definitely
- 47:29[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I was at first, I was like, hesitant to say like, should he really give like in a more like a big, long title reign, right?
- 47:36[SPEAKER_06]: Like, because I, to be quite honest, I was unsure how much of a draw he was going to be just because of the crowd being so conditioned to him just being like, just like, I think I'd lose a basically.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_06]: But like, I don't know like so for the numbers, show that like, no, like the absolutely justified and giving this guy a long title reign because,
- 47:56[SPEAKER_06]: He's drawing crowds.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_04]: And so we'll see there.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_04]: And then so to start the show, at Chishy Katoge, Mohammed Yonin, Hajimeo, Haraj Fiduna Manibu.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, Shuhay Kenaguchi and Madora Madori Takahashi in 731 with the Bustle Buster from Yonin.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, the Ruki Takahashi, perfectly sold opener.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_04]: And then you had Alpha Wolf, Kai Fujimura, Tadesuke, and Jun Masaoka defeating.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_04]: ADAC care and lacy black men's array and consuming in a hot-out in 643 with the packet file driver from Wolf on in a hot-out Really hard to get a good feeling on that one, but it was solid, but to short Then down between our Fuji and Herodosarria defeated
- 48:39[SPEAKER_04]: on how RAS and RAUC in A53 with the headlock from Mara Fuji on, where you say.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I thought this was, I know that a lot of people love to a depon RAS, but I actually thought this is a nice little like, let's insert the veteran with a bunch of young guys right here.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_04]: And then Mara Fuji, of course, gets his headlock submission and everything.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_04]: So that was fun.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_04]: And exactly what it needed to be, I thought.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_06]: And I would like to remind people that like Angle Reyes is 21 years old.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_06]: And this is the first tour of Japan.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_06]: Like, how many times have people had to eat shit when like a young guy comes into Japan for the first tour?
- 49:27[SPEAKER_06]: They looked very, very shaky because they're nervous and unexperienced.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_06]: And then later turn into great workers.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
- 49:38[SPEAKER_04]: I have an axe to grind on this, so I will bring up this very example.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_04]: Someone just won the New Japan Cup.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, that's true, Cal.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_06]: Oh my god, people were like sending you death threats.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_06]: If you said that Calum Newman isn't the worst wrestler in the world.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, now look at him, exactly.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_04]: Same thing applies to Reyes.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like, the guy that, like, based, like, did basically call him, like, pattern himself, a very heavily, which he got criticized for, like, fucking will ask, great coming into Japan.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_06]: Those are a bit shaky at the start.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_06]: I hear a Francesco coming into Japan was a bit shaky at the start.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I know almost like, this is a pattern.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_04]: So next up, we have Ozzawa, Masakira, Miita, Takashi, Sugara, and Nau, defeating Kenta, Tetsuya, and Othayada, Yuto Koyanagi, sort of like the White Raven squad, plus Koyanagi, the rookie.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_04]: In 1910, when Nau pinned Koyanagi with the Mount Nau.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: So I guess that was surprised there, and Nau is getting built back up.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: Not much to say here, again, but now we start getting into the business end of the card.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_04]: No, so that also, so Kido Kia Mia defeated Galena on 935 with the figure four leg lock pin or figure four pin.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was a little disappointing.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, yeah, pretty dull and then like, Kido just gets a win.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm just not again, I think we talked about it before.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_06]: I just like, I don't know what Kaito is like doing now.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's just like he kind of dropped like the whole like Matt Prince gimmick.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_06]: Like you know, really doing any of that anymore.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_06]: Galenus now like Elena was very much in just like I'm leaving.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm just gonna give half effort mode and yeah, I don't know.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's just really really boring.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_04]: Look, if I commentary made it sound like Elena and his brother, wave your sleeve would be back some day, but yeah, I highly doubt that.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, it's wrestling so never say never and who the fuck knows of this all like wv triple a thing like works out, and I mean Who the fuck loves like randomly releasing people more than wv?
- 52:02[SPEAKER_06]: So I vote rooted out that they'll be back, but it definitely will be like a while.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_04]: They're not coming back on you.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_06]: No, yeah, no, no.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_04]: And then for the GHC junior heavyweight tag team title, Dragon Bane and Alejandro defeated Daga and Daiki Otoshiman, 1752 with the Twister Bane, Twister Bane from Bane on Otoshima for the title change, Champion Fall on the third defense with the 60-50 GHC junior heavyweight tag team champions.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_04]: I mean Paul, this was a great match, even if I didn't like the result,
- 52:37[SPEAKER_04]: Now, we're on this on the last show.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like, bayonet of the 100 won the tournament by defeating their evil brothers.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_04]: So, I don't know, I just didn't feel like he needed to change the titles here.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_04]: But, because with these teams, they're so great.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_04]: This was a great match.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, especially since they now seem to be back to feuding after evil brothers.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_04]: So, yeah, that's the thing.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_06]: Point actually, I noticed, because I don't know if you did you watch the show from today.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_04]: I did not.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, yeah, I can touch on it briefly when we get to it.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay, I didn't even know that.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it had life, but yeah, no, I thought this was great.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_06]: I also agree that you could have maybe run with like Doug and Dikey with a Schema for a bit longer.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_06]: But I mean, like, I mean, both of these are great teams, right?
- 53:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_06]: I get really coming from with Dhaka, with Dhaka and Daikki like holding it longer, but like I also can't really say like Oh, it's bad that Dragon Bean and Alejandro will now have like a bunch of really great like junior attack types of matches.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_06]: So hopefully.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, unless they just
- 53:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, let's see, maybe maybe we'll have to like eat crooks.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_04]: To be fair, Mr. Smack Daddy also got pulled into that vortex and has managed to escape it.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, with his title attack somehow.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, absolutely.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_04]: So, that stuff we had for the GHCG,
- 54:15[SPEAKER_04]: with the Kaikoku to make a second defense of the GHC juniors.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, Paul, this is a good solid defense, and I kind of figured that it would be good, because I think true and Lacey are a good solid tag team, and I want to see more of them in Noah, and this is a good filler defense, I thought.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean it didn't like the world on fire, but it was solid enough and again, true and like it's like a team like if you can convince them to just, you know, sign up and actually just, you know, like basically just like be deregulally, I think they can become even better than they are right now and just kind of proved it as well and a maxa to me is just, you know.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_06]: He's pretty damn like I think he's still somehow underrated like I think people have kind of started to like catch on that is pretty great like even people that aren't like You know like regular know or watchers are slowly starting to become aware this way, but I think he's still very underrated.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely I now I think it's pretty safe that
- 55:16[SPEAKER_04]: New Japan's not going to take him.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, yeah, no, not the leaves of the tools.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_04]: And B, he's a heromous friend.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_04]: So he'll end up in NXT before he doesn't know.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_06]: Ah.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_06]: No, you might be told for that.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_06]: He might be told for that.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then in the main event for the GHC heavyweight championship, you see, you see, you know, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you know, in twenty one fifty nine with the discharge to make a fifth defense of the title and Paul, I would put this on my, uh,
- 55:58[SPEAKER_04]: Delivered a great performance in Amura, Delivered a great performance.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe I'm even giving it extra marks because there was no bullshit in the match.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, this was great.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_04]: And exactly why I still love Atamura to spite the cowboy hat gimmick in the Mrs. Matt, that is stuff.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_04]: I still love him.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: And this was exactly why.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_06]: I think it also kind of finally proved that in Amura can just have like a straight match, right?
- 56:22[SPEAKER_06]: Because that was a bit of a thing.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, not with the kind of what basic reflect the whole team 2000 acts where he was like leaning pretty heavily into like some like WWE tropes and everything.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_06]: Where he didn't do that here.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_06]: Like he just wrestled like a good like Japan style, like main event.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_06]: against Cano and it just kind of like beat the shit out of each other and then in a more just put them away definitively.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_06]: And it was just a good clean fight between two great wrestlers.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_06]: And I think that's exactly what I needed to like revitalize my interest in this title reign.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, no, no, no, no, no, I'm all in.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_06]: Now I'm all in and I'm interested to see when like where does goes from here.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Kenta came out and we got to talk about everything.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_04]: I got that, Ken, it was challenging.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_04]: I think T is the WWE guy or XWWE guy.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_04]: And then, of course, we got treated to the fact that Alpha Wolf is going to be the next challenge for us.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, so back into the Team 2,000 extra more times.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_06]: But I feel like, I mean, that's also weird, though, that they're doing the national title, national champion, versus the Jade C champion again.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_06]: I keep doing that.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know why.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_06]: Like this is what it's just even for it's just even for the title.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_04]: No, I don't think it's for, um, no, it's it's not for the national.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but then it's also like helpful.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_06]: We'll never really defense the title.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_04]: They like ever, I'm trying to think national title versus Gitchie champion.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_04]: They did that they did the
- 58:02[SPEAKER_04]: They had to Osawa win it.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_06]: And then he immediately like that still that a set load of damage to the title.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think I'd ever recover from that.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_04]: And then we've got this back coming up and I feel like there's another one for getting.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_06]: I'm trying to think who else would have found a champion.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: Champion versus champion match and I'm forgetting.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_04]: Even if it wasn't for both titles but just like the challenging for the G.H.H.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_04]: You have your way champion while the national champion.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_06]: While the national champion, I'm trying to think of this.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_06]: I can't think of one right now but I also feel like it has happened.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think so, I don't think so, so with that we'll go a quick preview of the upcoming Noah shows, so on the 27th at Shinjuku Face, the main event is Yoshiki Inamura and Dragon Bain versus Alpha Wolf of Nassukita Mia, which actually can be a pretty good match.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's going to be the main event.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_04]: And you got Harotoki and Alejandra versus Ozawa and Kai Fujimura.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you keep with you the versus herronos to Rhea.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_04]: Circle that one.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_04]: To be Seria is the guy.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, wait.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_06]: I forgot to be kind.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_06]: I need to touch the quick on the show that at today.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, right.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, because I don't I watched it live here.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_06]: Oh,
- 59:21[SPEAKER_06]: So what happened?
- 59:21[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, not much of note, really.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_06]: I think really like the only ones to kind of like touch on quite honestly, like I like the like shiki in a mirror versus Katsumi in a Haramatch, obviously in a more of one, that one.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_06]: I thought I was really good.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_06]: I think it showed off that like, yeah, in a Haram, it's going to be like a guy in the heavyweight division for sure.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_06]: I think he kept up pretty well with I think again like I have a feeling he's not going to be a young boy for very long like they have him like each shit right now as a young boy but I feel like I would be shocked if this last like past like six months I would not be surprised if he's in the end one this year
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_06]: like, as like, probably maybe as like a guy that probably eats a lot of pins in the end one, but I definitely feel like he's going to be like, he's going to be a guy pretty quickly.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_06]: Then otherwise the other thing of note, well, kind of like again, he teased more like Osawa and Naito, right?
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I mean, we're going to have like the tactile match on everything.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_06]: And then the foreign foreign elimination match, which again, I was like the match, that was Alfa Wolves, Kai Fujimura, Tadasuke and Junmasoka, defeating Dragon Bay in Alejandro Daga and Tai Chi Uresima.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_06]: Well, again, yeah, that felt very much like we getting sucked back into like the brother was his brother stuff because the finish was like well, basically like not the finish, but like in the post match like Alejandra was like getting hung again by Kai Fujimura so
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it feels like we're going right back into that so I don't know like it It very much feels like this like never ending team to thousand x vortex, but the match itself was pretty good So like I mean as much as I didn't like that going then going back to that I thought the like elimination match was really really good
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_06]: because I think he's like, like, elimination matches in Japan, like they actually always do them really, really well.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_06]: And like you had, like in, like basically at the end, you had like basic Odashima as like a 211, where it was him against Tadasuke and Fujimura.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_06]: And like he managed to like beat Tadasuke, but then Tadasuke kind of like cheap shot at him after he got eliminated.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_06]: And then Fujimura kind of like they had like a bit more of a back and forth but then eventually like Fujimura like beat him.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, I mean, again, all that she was really fucking good at is, I think that's not shocking to say.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, just really, really enjoyed that match, just not happy to see like basically that we go right back to brothers versus brothers when we just had that as like the finance of a tournament, which felt like a definitive win, but I guess it wasn't.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, how is no versus on how race?
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_06]: Wait, when was that?
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, there was yet no, so I should actually say, I tuned into the show later.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_06]: So I actually, actually, in a moment, I was in a hard, I was like the first match.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_06]: I saw like the very end of the white Raven squad match, and then I saw like the rest of the show after that.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't actually see no of this angle of the race.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't know what that was like.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't have a gone path.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of which, I was first to mention on the 20th at Kobe Sam Hall in front of 800 for fans.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_04]: I only watched one match on the show, but it was the GHC Type II title tattoo in NIDO and Bushy defended against Manibu Soy and Chugicondo.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_04]: And then the NIDO and Bushy won a 1926 win that NIDO hit actually a decent looking destino on condo to make their second defense of the titles.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_04]: And I would say that this is the best match that NIDO has had in Noah so far.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_04]: which is not as high as praise, but it was perfectly fine.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_04]: And God damn didn't so yeah, and Condu really carry this.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, I know.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I guess it probably helps that Condu is a bit smaller.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_06]: So he doesn't have to really get up that high.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_06]: No, I also agree that this was like night as best match.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_06]: And you know, like, I don't think it was nearly as good as a horror match.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I would actually recommend, like, if you want to like track that one down,
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_06]: and see if you if you agree with my vision for Naito.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_04]: And to be fair to Naito, he spent a lot of time in this match.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_04]: No, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's not going to retain his heat if he just, yeah, exactly.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like that, that's what I feel like it's what he's realizing when it's like, oh, like my, like, basically, my chairs are fading.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_06]: And if I don't work a bit hard, I'm going to weigh out my world come really quickly.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, especially if you're going to work shows and venues that size of Kobe Sembo Hall, as opposed to just waiting for like bigger places.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_04]: So we talked about the show on the 27th.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_04]: We've got the main event match, and this is in Tokyo, Toma, Moray, Mesa.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_04]: Main event is, uh, uh, uh, let's do this.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_04]: You'll shoot you to more of us as, uh, who, uh, who.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_04]: wrote it's a rria.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's going to be a lot of fun as a main event and interesting choice.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_04]: You've also got kind of key of me versus Kuenagi and Osawa versus Takahashi.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_04]: So all the young guys are in sickles matches against main defenders and I think that's going to be really exciting.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, Nato is on the show and it's all four of the
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_04]: uh... tranquillos versus uh... kittimia off a wolf food tomorrow in masoka that actually looks like a good show for what it is uh... you can see that and then on the apple fifth in shizuoka what do we got here uh... made of an eighteen man type match and another all four members of lost tranquillos de japan versus ozawa kittimia masoka
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and Masoka.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I knew anything else, uh, we got in the door to talk about Haixie versus Kato Kiyomiya.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, uh, that's the only thing notable there.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, April 12th, Apex Conquest in Nagoya is where we're getting awful wolf versus your shiki in Amara.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_04]: And this is that, uh, I achieve perfection gymnasium.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_04]: Um, no, I, you know, sorry, the kid not.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's a perfectural gymnasium that closed, didn't it?
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_04]: Marina.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of more for Marina.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that building.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_04]: So in a Marvers' wolf, Nato and Bushy versus Ozawa and Matt Junasoka for the Kiki titles.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, Leico's Jim versus Dragon Bean and Alejandro, how could we forget that?
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, why are we bringing in like a little stream?
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_04]: So that's, coming door and then we're getting a heavyweight tag team tournament too, coming up, right?
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_04]: And I like last year.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_04]: That was a lot of fun.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_06]: That I'm happy that Noah's finally like doing like more like regular tournaments.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_06]: Because for a while, there was them just doing the end one and I was like, look, you need something to like, like boost up like the rest of your adventures to one tournament and call it a day.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_06]: If you do need more tournaments, because the kind I felt dying of, I felt like stretchers of some of the years, because it didn't have much to think to thieves and to, but like, yeah, now that definitely helps a lot more.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_04]: And then, so that's what you go over to Al Jepan and I would say Final Thoughts I know are looking pretty good.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a little concerned about this being very back into Team 2000 X-Vortex, but otherwise, everything can happen.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_06]: I'm really enjoying watching all of their rookies.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_06]: Like I would like maybe like if Team 2000X like either like like basically tone that stuff down I think that would help me a lot in terms of my enjoyment of the promotion, but like I'm enjoying it like
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_06]: top title like stuff.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_06]: I'm I'm really enjoying like the junior tag title stuff.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's generally been pretty damn good.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_06]: Again, a box has a really good junior singles champion as well.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_06]: So no, I think no, it's pretty well, North pretty well positioned.
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_06]: It's just there's some really like the stuff about nowhere that is annoying is really annoying.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_06]: So it's like it's like this stuff that is good needs to hit really well to overcome this stuff that is
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_04]: So we go all the way back, you know, Japan to the 15th of March, you know, sorry, the 8th of March, I shouldn't keep it first ring for the final New Age Chronicles show for 137 fans, because it's a super no big as a whole house.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_04]: Special tag match to open the show.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_04]: We had really in a way in Guyahox defeating Dan Tamera and Noble Hiko Kimura in 1014, with the buzzsaw kick from in a way on Kimura.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_04]: A Guyahox can't seem to get booked for Noah,
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_06]: I am so baffled that they picked Masa Okawa of a hawks, that's not the choice I would have made.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_06]: Like not that I think Masa Okawa's bad, but if I have to pick one of the two, I'm picking Gaia Hawks.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_04]: And then, uh, so obviously it's solid opener.
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_04]: And then, of course, so singles match, Okawa told Lori to feel in Jerusalem, Bashi.
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_04]: In eight, twelve by pinfond.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't know, Shimbashi is dragging Gates salary man, give it guy.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_06]: Like pumped out and like a suit and everything.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was what was much like the special handicapped after Odyssey, they did say go to Fana and show to Kofuji in 1942 with the journeys end on Kofuji.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_04]: And then the business, the core of Kofuji, and to the car, it's special tag match, Red Aaba, and Carlos de Peter Boachers, who can junior and Kazuma Kamara from Dren Gate in 1955 with the Iron Maiden from Aabae on Kamara, which I thought was a solid little match, you know.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and then in the main event, June, Sato, Attsuki, Yagi, and Yuma Anzai defeated Ray Sato, right-key, haunted rising Hado, in 1930, with the Ghibli from Anzai in Hado, which was a good main event.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_04]: You know, not knock your socks off, but for a good main event for this kind of show, at Chikiba.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_04]: And suddenly, Anzai might continue this new age chronicle thing in his own branding.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see what happens with that.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, when I, they've gone for like a couple of different like iterations of this exact concept now, right, and I kind of like that it seems to be that also like whoever it is kind of branded for is also who's actually like running the shows.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think that's actually smart to teach guys that it's that I younger like how to actually like book and everything and like how to like organize like stuff at the show.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_06]: So giving that to ants, I know I think is very, very smart like that's exactly what you should do because you kind of want them to be ready to like maybe like take over a bit more like responsibilities of the booking and like organizing of the shows and everything.
- 1:11:02[SPEAKER_04]: for sure.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_04]: No one on one that's going to start.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it'll probably start at some point in a couple of months.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we'll hear about it.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_04]: As I'm sure they have all these should keep the dates booked off.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_06]: That's it.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_06]: They already know when it's going to start.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_04]: So that we go to March 15.
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'd cork in Holland for 1,278 fans and Paul, I gotta say, that's a decent little number for this card, I gotta say, I think.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, it's not like it's really like a blowaway card.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_04]: For basically getting this in cork and without canto in a triple crown max is pretty good.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it shows that the silos are still draws to certain extent, I think, too.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Paul, they finally put up Hadecki Suzuki versus
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_06]: No, I actually haven't seen it yet.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_04]: I watched this morning, it's just 15 minutes of grappling with me.
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, god damn it.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't think I'm going to go back to that.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's not worth it.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_04]: You've got a huge popular when you came out.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, fair enough, I mean, at least, I mean, he is still over.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you get not deny that, but it's like, yeah, I think that's going to be one of the more interesting stories for like this year is to see what happens to you,
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_04]: So the first official back to the show and mind you, I don't know why this was made a, this wasn't broadcast live.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm still baffled by that.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_04]: So the main show, Mazzada defeated Shota, Confucian, 65th through the small package hold.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_04]: I'm kind of surprised that Confucian win this.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_06]: If he's going to be to anyone, it's Mazzada.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:12:42[SPEAKER_04]: And also, I don't know why Mazzada wasn't wearing his senior schedule mask.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm sure you trust, but I bizarre all, you know, but anyway, you know, maybe he gets the date differently.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_04]: I perfectly good opener considering it featured bizarre as well.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_04]: Say, yes.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_04]: Cofugi carried that much.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, then go Shiozaki Shotaro, Shino, Zainan Odyssey, defeat Hoko Tokomori, Noruki Doye, Kota Sekafuta, and Toshiyuki Sakuta, they're back.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_04]: I like Sakafuta, but Sakuta, Shink is already over one, it's welcome, and I'll repeat it.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, uh, have it going in 1044 with Ego Locke from a Shino on Omori so the two guys left out in the championship cardival, uh, take it to the finish of the match.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_04]: It was, it was perfectly fine, uh, triple crown skirmish
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_04]: Kuma Rashi, Daisuke Sekamoto, Master Yuki Kono, and Sakota Jibana, defeated Kento Miyahara, right Kihonda, Yuma Anzai Musashi, in 1149, with the cross body attack from a Rashi on Honda.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_04]: So a bit of a big attack on a big win from Honda going into it.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, you get the whole title built up the title because Kento was running down on Russell Wine, and Honda sort of gives a Rashi the code shoulder.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_04]: even though some of the rest of one guys are supporting him, we'll get more on that later.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it was a perfectly fine good build-up match.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, all these guys are mostly good, except for Conan, who's one of the easiest recipes.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_06]: Like booking Kono and trying to try to think there's a fucking truck.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yes it is.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then the Dzenichi Junior Tech Festival semifinal real in a way, most of you can junior defeated Dan Tamar and her cars sat on 15
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_04]: 53 with a Buzzsaw cake from Italy on Sato.
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_04]: And that this might be anyways because when it's career, great match, they had me on the edge of my seat because I honestly didn't know who's going to win this and I watched it live.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_04]: So great works to them.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_04]: Great stuff to them.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_04]: I really enjoyed that match.
- 1:14:52[SPEAKER_04]: And then the next semi-final, ask you how you'd be rising high out of defeated Seki or Shioke.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_04]: And you just assumed 1834 with the Sid Vicious from
- 1:15:04[SPEAKER_04]: better than I thought it was going to be because of a certain Mr. Susumu, but I tell you you know, I didn't like as much as the other set be final, but it was probably fine.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I have to say, I mean, Susumu is good or anything, but I think he over delivered an tournament, like it's it's it's it's not that he was good, but it's like he didn't actively drag down the mattress that he was in.
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_04]: No, no.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_04]: And the match I wore because they left the finishing stretch to higher and your shioka in the previous year.
- 1:15:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, that's what they did and like, I mean, very notably like every single time, like, like, sake of your shioka was the one in the finished stretch.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_06]: Like, si suma was like, basically, like, okay, I did my stuff and then he got out of the fucking way.
- 1:15:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:15:49[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then the main event for the world takes you championship.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_04]: Red and I Abba and Talos defeated June set on race set on 1958 with the death roulette from I Abba on June We just always have very impressive thing to see to make their third defense much like I expected Honestly, I'm glad I called this and Paul.
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_04]: This is a lot of fun.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to overstate it Okay, this is not a I did not go four stars on this match.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_04]: I went like three and three quarters But this definitely exceeded my expectations and I have a and Talos are really yelling as a team and did you see Talos do the Boba trapper in this match?
- 1:16:21[SPEAKER_04]: I mean come on
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know tell us gets the tell us gets it.
- 1:16:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, tell us gets it.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_04]: Especially for a guy of his size, right?
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_04]: Like compare him to like, I don't know, um, who's that other guy in AEW, the really tall guy?
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_04]: Side them sing.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, who could never do this, right?
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_04]: And that's, so yeah, I mean, and it was a very booking decision too because they got something here.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_06]: No, I definitely did not expect that I would enjoy, like, like, if you asked me like a year ago, if I would enjoy like a nearly 20-minute match involving Rena Yabe and Talos, I would have been like, are you out of your mind?
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, but no, I like Dave.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_06]: They've actually, like, they've, all depend really, really found something with these two guys here.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_06]: Like, they jealous and try to be well.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_06]: And I think it's working one that's for Ren Ayabe as well.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:15[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's, he's doing better.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_06]: And you can see his confidence growing for very match, basically.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_04]: But wait, Paul, there's more because, what's to everyone's shock?
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_04]: Ren Ayabe and Tows are going to be participating in the Crocodacop.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_06]: He's coming to Japan.
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_06]: He's coming to America.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_04]: Can you believe out of all of the guys of the Aussie Pan roster, they went and got a visa for R&I?
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, to be fair, that's probably tall else like arranging that, but still, yeah, that is very funny.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they had to act Billy as they call him, put a video on acts, doing it like announcing and everything, right?
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_04]: Because we thought when remember when E.C.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_06]: 3 made his appearance in, although I'm trying to forget that to be quite honest.
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_04]: So what is this?
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_04]: Is this how it's just doing run a favor or do you really think there's a relationship?
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_06]: I think this is just like, because Talos is like a NWA guy, I think that was probably just the NWA being like, hey, or him going to the NWA being like, hey, I've got the Crocodile coming up like I'm teeming with this guy in Japan right now.
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_06]: Can you bring him in and then we'll just like, we're going to be in a Crocodile together?
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's how that went.
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think that is really like a relationship between the two.
- 1:18:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I suppose like another thing is I think there's something here about because they announced, this is a storyline because they announced so late, they have to, they're not, they're like, being just giving the lowest seed.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_04]: So they actually like, they don't get a buyer anything, which is interesting.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_04]: How do I think they're going to go on this tournament?
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_04]: I mean,
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_04]: Odinson, also former oligopan, wrestler who teams with tallos, are known, sorry, not tallos.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_04]: Crados, they've got a tag team.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_04]: And we got, who are these tag teams?
- 1:19:32[SPEAKER_04]: The immortal, I don't even know who that is.
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that's, uh, that's, uh, Sorry, that is quite an old scene in old scene.
- 1:19:39[SPEAKER_06]: That's about to say, yeah, that's great.
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_04]: There are the mortals.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know all these other takes.
- 1:19:45[SPEAKER_04]: You got the Pope and Mims.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, I'm going by who I reckon are.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_06]: Wait, is that, is that literally like Pope, the Angelo de Nero?
- 1:19:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, God.
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_06]: He wasn't good.
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_06]: He was like 15 years ago.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_04]: You got pretty boy smoothing past her C-Low.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, the colon's pre- Rowan Epico.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, God.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, talking about people that weren't good 15 years ago.
- 1:20:13[SPEAKER_04]: Joe Kazana and the country gentlemen, I don't know who that is.
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I mean, do I could see them?
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_06]: I could see them go pretty far.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they're very tall, right?
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like I don't think.
- 1:20:25[SPEAKER_06]: I think that there's no way they're going out and the first round.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_06]: No, so I don't think this, I like at the same time, I don't think there's any chance that they're winning, because I don't think like all Japan is all right.
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's probably going to be to go brothers.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't be shocked if that's the final.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I would, I wouldn't allow that.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_04]: I just have the blues in the semis to another team that led the good brothers in the final to beat them in the finals.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and then they go back to net well, they haven't been back to know yet.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_06]: And again, they were doing well, and no, like, I'm surprised actually.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, for their brief, for their brief, no one really worked hard.
- 1:21:08[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, which, I mean, that kind of has to feel like shit for them as well.
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_06]: But they're like, okay, we actually put an effort for once, and we don't get fucked again.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_04]: Are they, by the way, like, is there a similar hall and, like, may or something?
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I did, yeah, I mean, yeah, I mean, they might be, I mean,
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, look, if for whatever reason, if you can't get them to win, you have them glued to, I don't know, the mortals and the semis are something instead of yeah, you know, like it was in the final, you know, or that's probably a bit of an option.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_04]: So that's the big news coming out of that.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_04]: Then we move on to Mars 20th
- 1:21:56[SPEAKER_04]: We'll chat.
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think they've done more in that building.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_04]: But they may have.
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_04]: But you know, whatever, they do more than they would have been cork and also I think that's a good.
- 1:22:06[SPEAKER_04]: That's a good thing.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_04]: That's like
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_04]: That's the bare minimum of success, if you ask me, right?
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_04]: So to start off the show, Ray Kihada and Yuma Anzai defeated Yuma Ayagi and Hoko Tomor, Amori and A32 with the final event, Honda and Amori por Amori, but this is actually a pretty good opener and a lot of fun.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_04]: So I thought it had set the tone very well.
- 1:22:27[SPEAKER_04]: And then you had Mr. Sato, Nuru Kido and Senior Saito defeating Kota Saka Buddha and Toshiyuki Sakuta and A28 with the Bakataru Saiting Kick for the Doya and Sakuta.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's the best I could say, right?
- 1:22:41[SPEAKER_04]: I like Sekaputa and I would keep using him if I were all Japan, but I mean, I don't know, for what reason they always have to have, like, they always sometimes will have a, like a death match guy in the undercard, being a death match guy and had it over the point of it is.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's very weird.
- 1:22:57[SPEAKER_06]: Like the Kudos fucking great in a death match, but like I don't know what the fuck this is supposed to be.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I get it why they did it with O'Nida, even though it was horrible, I get it because it's Nida.
- 1:23:09[SPEAKER_04]: Get it?
- 1:23:10[SPEAKER_04]: You have to do it for like a guy in a very small firm, a very small company.
- 1:23:13[SPEAKER_06]: You're like sick of food, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of, like, sick of,
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_06]: uh, baked a pan dojo and he just like fucking drank his own blood out of his arm like like guess he's a fucking thick-up, but like it's not a guy you just put in like a fucking like standard tag match like that's not where he excelled.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_04]: And then uh, so our first types of clamourty versus set of brothers, that singles match, Palo's defeated June set of in 13 minutes with the ride the lightning daddy.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_04]: Paul, my god.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_04]: this is a lot of fun again like three and a half but still like I was like you know a little apprehensive but this was so much fun yeah like I was shocked how good this was to be quite honest yeah and like I gotta say like man they should have waited another year before they
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, June has, I think June has actually become better.
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_06]: Like it might have actually been better if they had belted them up.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_06]: I like, I get why they did it last year.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I get it.
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_06]: Because like given his age and body and everything, you sure.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_06]: And really count on him becoming better, unfortunately.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_06]: But like right now, he's still somehow, yeah.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, I thought he was getting better towards the end of his reign, but it just went was just going on too long.
- 1:24:47[SPEAKER_04]: It was just time to get it off of him.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I just didn't see it before.
- 1:24:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, how was did his part two here?
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like, don't get me wrong.
- 1:24:55[SPEAKER_04]: And he took some bumps and everything, right?
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_04]: So this was like the shocking thing.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_04]: And look, if you're having a good match like this with June said, oh, I think I'm a little more, uh, so we say, um, hopeful for the carnival.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, no, for the talk of a thing blocked later.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_04]: But, uh,
- 1:25:12[SPEAKER_04]: I think so.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's a good sign.
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_04]: And then in the milla, we get a musashi, Dan Tamara, U.S. Assumman, Fuminaria, Abe, defeating Sagotachibana, showed a Khufugi, Hikara Sato, and Seki, Oshio, can 1056.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_04]: With the power bottom from Tamara, on Tatyubana, and after this match, Yoshio-Ka and Musashi continue their food, continued their food, so that was a solid little match.
- 1:25:38[SPEAKER_04]: I thought,
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_04]: And then Suwama Hadecki Suzuki, Dysuke Sekamoto and Kanko Machino.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_04]: If it goes to Yuzaki Shotaro, Shino Zayan and Odyssey, when Suwama used the backdrop, it's complex to pin a Shino.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I mean, okay, but like at for once, like, I'm not super upset by that because of she know all the set he's going to take off some time right now.
- 1:26:03[SPEAKER_04]: My question is, is this he's taking off time because he's down the carnival or he was always in take off time and that's where he's on in the carnival.
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_06]: I think I think it is the latter.
- 1:26:11[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's the latter already probably were like, oh yeah, if I have to take off some time, I can't do the carnival this
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_04]: I did like this match though and I liked because of the building to us who they seem to be building towards to one of us and go yeah which I'm into that for sure I'm into that for sure and Paul but if you ask me that would be good first defense for go she was lucky once it went to triple crown don't you think
- 1:26:39[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, yeah, that seems like a logical one, yeah.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_06]: And again, given that Suvama is like only taking very sparing bookings, it probably makes sense to start building that futile.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_04]: Now, exactly because, yeah, you're not going to have that many shows that you'll be behind.
- 1:26:54[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, that's your, that's a good core can mean a bit.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, this might actually be a bit of a give away that like goes like winning.
- 1:27:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I saw someone say, oh, we might be getting go versus Suvama on the chamber and carnivals of finals, you know.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't think so.
- 1:27:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:27:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't mind my my feelings about go winning haven't changed So I think it's and look if you look at the way this company is booking look how many it was a couple months ago Where they started giving Kuma Rashid about the singles win.
- 1:27:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and now he had a chance I mentioned it was on it was unexpected but they were building him up for something Yeah, like in hindsight it's really obvious.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_06]: That's what they were doing.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so I would not be shocked
- 1:27:35[SPEAKER_04]: if this really is a triple crown match in a few, a couple of months, like probably in June though, because you know, you gotta have go win the count cardable and then be Kento, and then you get to Swamma.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_04]: So the Titans of Clammy is versus the SETO Brothers second match.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_04]: Right, they obviously feel a race set of in 1339 with the Iron Maiden.
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, this was then as good as the other match.
- 1:28:00[SPEAKER_04]: That's for sure, but I don't think it was nearly as bad as it could have been.
- 1:28:06[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how long race side I was going to hold together to be completely honest with you.
- 1:28:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it really seems like out of the two of them, it really seems like he is the one that is like starting to kind of like, I mean, he's already got his shoulder taped up.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, I mean, he was out with a shoulder injury.
- 1:28:23[SPEAKER_04]: It continues to be taped up.
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_04]: He's already had to change his style.
- 1:28:26[SPEAKER_06]: It's been out for shoulder injury twice.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_06]: That's the other thing.
- 1:28:31[SPEAKER_04]: And after the first time he stopped doing the top road flash and everything like that.
- 1:28:37[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I mean, he's looked decent enough when he's come back.
- 1:28:41[SPEAKER_04]: I just don't think I, you know, it's funny, because I was so high on Ray at one point, but I think, I think Judas passed him.
- 1:28:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, June has passed them unfortunately.
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_06]: I was also always like a lot higher on Ray than I ever was on June originally, but yeah, I think at this point, I think it's pretty safe to say that like June is the better, like he's going to be like a bit more of the stand out of the team essentially.
- 1:29:05[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then we had semi-maid event to Zenichi Jr. tag festival the final.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's G. A.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_04]: A.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_04]: A.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_04]: A.

- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_04]: A.
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_04]: A.
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_04]: You know, maybe a little meandering in the middle, but good, really good finishing stretch there with in a way and Aoyagi, although I still maintain that the wrong team once.
- 1:29:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, no, absolutely.
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_06]: I probably would have gone higher on this match if they had like switched to like Yeah, sure.
- 1:29:49[SPEAKER_06]: Like, uh, no, but like, yeah, anyway, it was so fucking awesome in this.
- 1:29:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:29:55[SPEAKER_06]: Like, he, to me, he really was like, I thought this match was great and I think anyway, it was the best out of everybody in this.
- 1:30:01[SPEAKER_06]: Like, he really like kept us together.
- 1:30:04[SPEAKER_06]: Like, he really was the guy that like,
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_06]: You could also feel the crowd just like, you know, like just being like the crowd was ready for him to win too.
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_06]: Like the crowd really desperately wanted him to win this and I figured took a little bit of energy out when he lost, but I mean, it was still a pretty damn great match.
- 1:30:22[SPEAKER_06]: And again, anyway, really showed like he's ready to like take the next step.
- 1:30:27[SPEAKER_06]: Like he really is ready to like ascend to like up the card now.
- 1:30:32[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, no, this was fucking awesome.
- 1:30:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like awesome performance, very real anyway.
- 1:30:36[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think I think I think I think they actually setting them up for like a breakout here.
- 1:30:43[SPEAKER_04]: Um, do you think it's possible that, uh, airyagi and hydro don't win the always you take titles?
- 1:30:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like here's the thing, right?
- 1:30:52[SPEAKER_06]: Like, and that's why I wanted to, like, in a win, much isuki to win, because I just made more sense for them to win the titles, but like, I don't know why there we go through this entire tournament if they don't win, it's an entertainer's comeback to New Japan.
- 1:31:08[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:31:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we'll see.
- 1:31:11[SPEAKER_04]: I don't suppose you watch the Fuji and Mocha Zuki versus Strong Machine Jantet.
- 1:31:17[SPEAKER_04]: So we Fuji know how many did you do?
- 1:31:19[SPEAKER_04]: No, I didn't watch that.
- 1:31:20[SPEAKER_04]: No, I haven't got a chance to watch that either.
- 1:31:22[SPEAKER_04]: I really need to.
- 1:31:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm already done on that.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_06]: I can get at the moment.
- 1:31:27[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of people are, yeah, it seems to be the case.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_04]: Everything's like that.
- 1:31:34[SPEAKER_04]: and then for the triple crown.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_04]: Well, which is interesting because what's going to happen with Kakura in this tournament?
- 1:31:41[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, again, like the other thing is like it would have been so much either to book Kakura in this tournament if he wasn't the fucking dream gauge champion.
- 1:31:49[SPEAKER_04]: We shall see, we shall see, and the main event.
- 1:31:54[SPEAKER_04]: uh for the triple crown can't tell me a hard to feed a kumarashi in 2315 with the shed down German soup hugs to make his six defense of the title um i mean it was just okay i mean the finishing structure was good but i just felt like i wasn't expecting i was sort of expecting kumar to be a little more debt more dynamic and step up and um it didn't feel like that outside of a few minutes
- 1:32:20[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, I really don't think you could stick him in 20 minute matches, the, um, that, um, I guess the way best way of putting it would be that match against second motor was like a much better idea for him to do.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, no, like, that this was too long.
- 1:32:37[SPEAKER_06]: It was fine, but it definitely wasn't to the level of like a triple crown match.
- 1:32:41[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's very safe to say.
- 1:32:44[SPEAKER_06]: Because I think it's basically for Ken to me a horror like triple crown match.
- 1:32:47[SPEAKER_06]: It's just like, yeah.
- 1:32:48[SPEAKER_06]: It's different standard to it.
- 1:32:49[SPEAKER_06]: And like, for example, like,
- 1:32:51[SPEAKER_06]: I think the TALO smash felt much more like a triple like I don't think that was like a match of the container anything but that to me felt much more like a triple crown match than this did.
- 1:33:01[SPEAKER_06]: Although I will say like
- 1:33:04[SPEAKER_06]: they did do a good job of building up the match at least because again when it was announced i was pretty down on it because again i mean it was obviously kuma rashi isn't going to win a triple crown but i thought like the way like they build it up of like canto constantly running down vessel one and then all of the vessel one guys
- 1:33:22[SPEAKER_06]: including Honda, like coming out to like back up Kuma.
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_06]: I thought that was really fucking cool, but I would also say that I was the best part of the match, which was like Kuma's entrance.
- 1:33:35[SPEAKER_06]: I mean it was solid, it wasn't bad or anything, it was just kind of mostly there and and Ken to did like a pretty like perfunctory Ken to Mia Harra finishing sequence to like put them away.
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I have the finishing sequence as a nice little finishing sequence, right?
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_06]: Probably, yes, it's a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can to be a can
- 1:34:08[SPEAKER_04]: But one quick thing before we get to the kind of a box, did you watch any of the show Paul on the 21st?
- 1:34:15[SPEAKER_06]: No, I can't remember.
- 1:34:16[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, let me actually go over this.
- 1:34:19[SPEAKER_04]: No, I can't.
- 1:34:20[SPEAKER_04]: This should move this more center.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this is human Anxiety's home town, basically.
- 1:34:25[SPEAKER_04]: And I only watch the main event, which is human Anxiety.
- 1:34:28[SPEAKER_04]: Roki-Hardard at PO, Yagi-D if you can't help me out.
- 1:34:31[SPEAKER_06]: Oh no wait, I watched the semi-mainent domain actually know that if you know that over it, they'll actually, because I was like, wait a minute, I did watch what I'm going to do.
- 1:34:38[SPEAKER_06]: You see, Mitch?
- 1:34:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:34:41[SPEAKER_04]: Well, how was the semi-mainent?
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that was the semi-mainent, I watched the semi-mainent domain.
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_04]: Well, the semi-main was a side-of-brothers versus having, so it was like, go through Tarotino's Zion and Odyssey versus the side-hows, it's saying you're in Makoto, where we see.
- 1:34:55[SPEAKER_04]: How was that match?
- 1:34:56[SPEAKER_04]: and it wasn't very good yeah it is yeah I mean what do you expect main events though was pretty good and honestly I kind of went straight for the heel heat right over the gate which was awesome yeah that's it
- 1:35:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he got some real booze.
- 1:35:15[SPEAKER_04]: Let me tell you, okay.
- 1:35:17[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:35:17[SPEAKER_06]: No, this was very much like you My hands, I territory like enter immediately was like yeah, I'm in like enemy like territory.
- 1:35:23[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna Fucking lean into this.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it was a fun match and they dropped they drew very well, but this was very much still a How show they didn't really give you anything except for that mean event with ends of getting all the rub.
- 1:35:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right.
- 1:35:35[SPEAKER_04]: Everything else is pretty How showy if you actually look at the results, right?
- 1:35:41[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, I mean, it was just like it was very much just like there.
- 1:35:45[SPEAKER_06]: It was just nothing special.
- 1:35:47[SPEAKER_04]: 1365.
- 1:35:50[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that that goes a long way.
- 1:35:52[SPEAKER_04]: I think in proving what Anza is, which is why, you know, you should put them back at the top of the cards.
- 1:35:58[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's not.
- 1:35:58[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know,
- 1:35:59[SPEAKER_04]: But like Eddie Aljapan show that does over a thousand people outside of Tokyo is isn't a accomplishment for them.
- 1:36:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I always say so.
- 1:36:07[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 1:36:08[SPEAKER_04]: So we go to the carnival blocks block a race shadow can to be a haragoshi Ozaki human and Zai kuma arashi kango machino
- 1:36:15[SPEAKER_04]: Machimo, Talos, and Odyssey, B-block, Hadeckis Suzuki, Rennayave, June, Sato, Raikihonda, Dyskay, Second Mortal, Madoka, Kakura, Zion, and Cyrus.
- 1:36:26[SPEAKER_04]: Paul, what do you think of these blocks?
- 1:36:27[SPEAKER_04]: Because it seems to me they tried to, someone really tried to even them out instead of going with an
- 1:36:36[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I mean, on the one hand, if they had made like one really good block, I could have been like, I'm really like, I'm basically guaranteed a banker, like, right, like you, you're guaranteed like bangers in that block, but on the other hand, like, it's probably makes for an overall better tournament, what they've done here.
- 1:36:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, because yet there's going to be some stinkers, but like there's also going to be some great matches and if they didn't kind of like Set it up correctly, they can at least guarantee that at least there's like one good match on every show won't like or that there's like two good matches on every show as well Yeah, so Yeah, I probably makes for an overall like better tournament like the way they actually set this up now Rather than just putting all the good guys in one in one block Yeah
- 1:37:26[SPEAKER_04]: Um, what are your feelings about this?
- 1:37:29[SPEAKER_04]: Do you still think, um, uh, I'm still going with go versus June in the set finals and the bot doesn't just tell me.
- 1:37:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:37:37[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that seems like the most likely one, right?
- 1:37:40[SPEAKER_06]: Like I could see, I mean, I think it's pretty safe to say that Go is coming out of his block.
- 1:37:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:37:46[SPEAKER_06]: Can't do it.
- 1:37:46[SPEAKER_06]: Like the only weird thing is like, it's can to be didn't go and, uh,
- 1:37:51[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, probably, right?
- 1:37:52[SPEAKER_06]: Like, can't just probably be eating go like in the block.
- 1:37:56[SPEAKER_04]: I think you have catabee go in the block because, well, not necessarily because then you go up one one since they since goes, come back to on Japan.
- 1:38:04[SPEAKER_04]: So maybe, I don't know, right?
- 1:38:06[SPEAKER_04]: But my, the only thing is I don't know because I should, I was gonna bring this up because on the first night at Cork and Hall, we've also got goverses and sides.
- 1:38:17[SPEAKER_04]: And so that's like another one more.
- 1:38:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's like who I don't quite know like do you want go to be Anzai because frankly I think Anzai should be chasing go for the triple crown later this year.
- 1:38:26[SPEAKER_06]: That's right.
- 1:38:28[SPEAKER_06]: So you probably have go when yeah, but then yes, I mean, I mean, could go just kind of like I mean, go kind of like I mean, you can also like I mean, you can lose to like to talk like you can lose to like tell us.
- 1:38:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:38:40[SPEAKER_06]: Because I don't think it's like sweeping the block, right?
- 1:38:42[SPEAKER_06]: But if you then explore, like, can't do, like, and you are beating him, then somebody has to beat him.
- 1:38:49[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I guess I could see both Anzile and Shio Zaki and Kento beating him.
- 1:38:54[SPEAKER_04]: But one or at least one of them will beat him.
- 1:38:57[SPEAKER_04]: I'm probably.
- 1:38:58[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to lean towards Kento, actually.
- 1:39:01[SPEAKER_04]: And then he beats Anzile, and that's a good story for later.
- 1:39:05[SPEAKER_06]: But then people look, yeah, no, sorry, go ahead.
- 1:39:08[SPEAKER_04]: No, go, I was going to go talk about the rest of the first opening night.
- 1:39:12[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, not in just real quick on like B-block, basically.
- 1:39:15[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, June, I think like the way it tricks out, I think I agree that like Go was June, it's probably the most like you final, just based on like what they've done, like at the like New Year's Eve show and everything.
- 1:39:27[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think really the only other one I could see come out of B-block is Kicuta.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_06]: If you kind of just want to do like a champ and champ and carnival,
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_06]: that like you know like they don't give away like it's a gonna be a big match but they don't have to give away one of their own big matches which is what they kind of did like a few years ago when they did she know versus versus T-hawk.
- 1:39:53[SPEAKER_06]: So like that's the only argument I can make for like Kiku they're coming out of the block instead of June.
- 1:39:59[UNKNOWN]: Right.
- 1:40:00[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they've really done June versus go.
- 1:40:02[SPEAKER_04]: So I think this is a good time to do it again.
- 1:40:05[SPEAKER_04]: So the other match on opening night, which I don't know, this could be an interesting night here, because we've got Rayside Overs is Kubo Rashi.
- 1:40:13[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, man.
- 1:40:14[SPEAKER_04]: This should be like seven minutes.
- 1:40:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but we can do it with you.
- 1:40:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I try to be long.
- 1:40:20[SPEAKER_04]: We got Carlos versus Kengo Machima, which could actually be good if Machimo wants to like, you know, get all creative and trying to like take down towels with like kicks and submission.
- 1:40:31[SPEAKER_06]: I think that match is very heavily dependent on Kengo Machima's like motivation levels.
- 1:40:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, Paul, we have the return of one of the worst matches of last year.
- 1:40:40[SPEAKER_04]: Nicky Suzuki who's his eye on.
- 1:40:42[SPEAKER_04]: Oh no, I mean, maybe maybe this time he'll want to try and want to try because you know, Zion has hasn't proved.
- 1:40:50[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, let's so yeah.
- 1:40:52[SPEAKER_04]: Let's be honest.
- 1:40:53[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, again, that much being bad wasn't even on Zion.
- 1:40:56[SPEAKER_06]: That was unsucceeded.
- 1:40:57[SPEAKER_04]: No, I was seducky.
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_04]: But I wonder if he'd actually think, like, oh, this guy's not ready yet.
- 1:41:04[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm just going to do not.
- 1:41:05[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:41:06[SPEAKER_04]: getting in the mind of Hadecki is impossible.
- 1:41:09[SPEAKER_04]: Then we got right on our baby versus June Sato, which I gotta say, like, I have reasonably decent expectations for you.
- 1:41:16[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:41:16[SPEAKER_04]: After, like, these got how these guys have been doing.
- 1:41:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, I mean, especially with like Ren actually having a lot.
- 1:41:22[SPEAKER_06]: I think this is really like it is going to be like an important like champion kind of for Ren Ayabe.
- 1:41:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and then finally the other Matt, the final match on the show, why don't put the mean event, but it's last one listed here.
- 1:41:35[SPEAKER_04]: Dysuke Sekamoto versus Cyrus, I assume go versus Anne's, I will be the main event.
- 1:41:39[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't know what to think because it could be kind of fun and it could be just bad.
- 1:41:44[SPEAKER_04]: It turns out Cyrus is like, yeah.
- 1:41:48[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so okay.
- 1:41:49[SPEAKER_04]: So let's zoom ahead to like the last couple of nights to see maybe what could be happening here.
- 1:41:55[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to me.
- 1:41:57[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:41:58[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so the second last night is on the third in.
- 1:42:03[SPEAKER_04]: Tochiiki of all places and then because you know, they don't have people get a night sauce And this is why I go to the last two shows in this case.
- 1:42:11[SPEAKER_04]: So we've got here go she was occupied versus Kego machine out You manzy versus Kuma rashi tallos versus Odyssey The deck is Suzuki versus Kukuta Medoka or Medoka Kukuta.
- 1:42:22[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry right now.
- 1:42:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'll bathe versus Rayki Honda June set out versus Zion
- 1:42:27[SPEAKER_04]: None of those scream like a decider match.
- 1:42:30[SPEAKER_06]: No, I'm really.
- 1:42:32[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, you know, which is Kakura?
- 1:42:35[SPEAKER_06]: No, actually, you know, which one actually seemed like the most like a decider match there.
- 1:42:40[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Rena Yabba versus Honda.
- 1:42:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's very possible.
- 1:42:45[SPEAKER_04]: And then the actual for sure last blockdate, Tuesday May 5th, at Corchin,
- 1:42:51[SPEAKER_04]: We've got Kento vs. Kango Machimo.
- 1:42:54[SPEAKER_04]: Gosho Zaki vs. Odyssey, Ray Sato vs. Yuma Anzai.
- 1:42:59[SPEAKER_04]: Kuma Arashi vs. Talos.
- 1:43:01[SPEAKER_04]: Hadeki Suzuki vs. June Sato.
- 1:43:04[SPEAKER_04]: Red Naya vs. Madoka Kakuta.
- 1:43:06[SPEAKER_04]: Rayki Honda vs. Daisuke Sekamoto and Cyrus vs. Zion.
- 1:43:11[SPEAKER_04]: Paul, what do you think of that?
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_04]: This Kango vs. Kento seems like
- 1:43:16[SPEAKER_04]: could be that I should know knocking them out.
- 1:43:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's cream's just kango mushroom own like beating kento to like not eliminate him.
- 1:43:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:43:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:43:24[SPEAKER_04]: And great.
- 1:43:25[SPEAKER_06]: That was awesome.
- 1:43:27[SPEAKER_04]: And race I don't knocking out Anzai.
- 1:43:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:43:30[SPEAKER_06]: And then go beats with who is it?
- 1:43:34[SPEAKER_06]: Or is it?
- 1:43:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, that's that's like, I mean, that would be another one that would be like an upset to like eliminate go.
- 1:43:42[SPEAKER_06]: But, yeah, that also just feels like I didn't, there isn't, there isn't, the weird thing is there isn't really any match that I would say is like, this match decides the block.
- 1:43:54[SPEAKER_06]: It's just like a bunch of matches where I'm like, this could be an upset to eliminate.
- 1:43:59[SPEAKER_06]: So maybe the only one I would be like, this is like to decide who wins the block would be Ray versus Anzai, but like, I don't know, that's not what this feels like at all that like, you know,
- 1:44:11[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't think you could also underrate, don't underrate.
- 1:44:15[SPEAKER_04]: Hedeki versus June, SIDO, that could be a good match too.
- 1:44:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because they do have the strange chemistry.
- 1:44:27[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, Cyrus is a Zion.
- 1:44:29[SPEAKER_04]: That will be quite the best you'll watch.
- 1:44:32[SPEAKER_06]: that will be something.
- 1:44:35[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I am a raccoon.
- 1:44:37[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, I don't, that could be, that one I'm interested in, like, that could be at a side.
- 1:44:41[SPEAKER_06]: Like, if it could, that's going through, then I wouldn't be shocked if the block comes down to, like, Ren was a raccoon.
- 1:44:47[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:44:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:44:49[SPEAKER_04]: So, it sounds like, oh, go in, and Shotara Shino,
- 1:45:00[SPEAKER_04]: And they are facing cue, bogami, and kegomashimo for the 2AW taking championship match, a few titles.
- 1:45:09[SPEAKER_04]: Are they going to have keggle like tap out a Schino or Pinnishino in this?
- 1:45:13[SPEAKER_06]: Nah, not in 2AW.
- 1:45:15[SPEAKER_06]: But she's going to want you to take time.
- 1:45:17[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Dave.
- 1:45:17[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, right, because it is.
- 1:45:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I guess then, yeah, you have to have.
- 1:45:21[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if the Schino's leaving for a couple of months, yeah, it's, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.
- 1:45:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know what?
- 1:45:28[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, I'm thinking about it.
- 1:45:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's probably actually what's going to happen here.
- 1:45:33[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's see here.
- 1:45:34[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, because there's a should keep a show on the April 3rd, which is the road to champion carnival.
- 1:45:56[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, listen to some of these batches.
- 1:45:59[SPEAKER_04]: Say go attach you bought it in Fubinari, Abba, which is a damn tamar in Odyssey.
- 1:46:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that might also be like one of the last, like, bookings, like, Abba was taking, right?
- 1:46:10[SPEAKER_06]: What's happening with Abba?
- 1:46:12[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, he just had like a big match with, on like a DDT show, where he had a match with you to Nagata.
- 1:46:18[SPEAKER_04]: I know I haven't seen that yet, I want to watch it.
- 1:46:21[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but is he taking time off?
- 1:46:24[SPEAKER_06]: No, but I think he's one of the guys like New Japan is going to approach.
- 1:46:28[SPEAKER_06]: How big?
- 1:46:29[SPEAKER_06]: Really?
- 1:46:29[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't know that.
- 1:46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 1:46:31[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it would make sense, right?
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_06]: Like, yeah, like a big match.
- 1:46:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I think anybody that now has like a big match with like a New Japan guy, probably should be, especially like of junior size.
- 1:46:41[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it's weird that Nagada has a match with a guy that is like junior sized.
- 1:46:47[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
- 1:46:47[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
- 1:46:48[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:46:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:46:49[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't think of that.
- 1:46:51[SPEAKER_04]: That's something to watch out for, too.
- 1:46:52[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's a massive loss for like the independence in.
- 1:46:58[SPEAKER_06]: It is.
- 1:46:59[SPEAKER_06]: RIP fighting detectors.
- 1:47:02[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, I know that.
- 1:47:03[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, hey, it might just become like a new Japan, like, personal.
- 1:47:08[SPEAKER_04]: This show looks fun because then you got also the opening matches, co-foods versus second motto.
- 1:47:14[SPEAKER_04]: And Ayoyaki and Hokutori teaming again against Kengo, Mashima and Yuko Miyamoto, but perhaps what's interesting here is we've got a 2AW versus all Japan match.
- 1:47:23[SPEAKER_04]: So Tara was she no versus Ayumu, Honda, which makes me wonder if she was going to get his
- 1:47:30[SPEAKER_04]: So that, I believe, let me just double check here, is the last Al-Japan show.
- 1:47:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yep, it's the third action keeps the last Al-Japan show before the carnival, so you can look forward to that.
- 1:47:43[SPEAKER_04]: So, I think we leave the show on a positive note when you say Paul.
- 1:47:49[SPEAKER_04]: I feel a pretty decent and pretty good.
- 1:47:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I mean, I was just going to try again, because I don't remember having already talked about
- 1:48:00[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, I think, yeah, it's been so much time after that.
- 1:48:04[SPEAKER_04]: Singuk Shinjuku Face is closing.
- 1:48:07[SPEAKER_04]: It barely affects all Japan.
- 1:48:09[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's not affecting all Japan in a slide.
- 1:48:11[SPEAKER_06]: It's they've had five shows in there at like all time.
- 1:48:14[SPEAKER_06]: They really only started like semi-regularly booking it and like the last three.
- 1:48:20[SPEAKER_04]: And my dad's actually won so a year.
- 1:48:23[SPEAKER_04]: Monday Magic has moved to Shinkibah already, hasn't it?
- 1:48:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, if they've done like one season versus Shinkibah, yeah, yeah, yeah, the most recent.
- 1:48:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, so they'll do that or they also have radiant hall.
- 1:48:40[SPEAKER_04]: Mind you, those are small than Shinkibah.
- 1:48:42[SPEAKER_04]: They look like a homerident hall and Shinkibah, but they're already there.
- 1:48:45[SPEAKER_04]: But this hurts great, I think.
- 1:48:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, great to start, but it is like a lot of like, Josie promotions are really badly hurt by this.
- 1:48:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, TJPW, D-D-T, D-D-T was running a lot of shows and showing in Shantuku face.
- 1:48:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, people talk about it because it just had how much turnover there is in architecture and buildings and Tokyo, you know, of course it's not going to be here forever.
- 1:49:10[SPEAKER_06]: No, it's not.
- 1:49:11[SPEAKER_06]: Like that one is going to devastate the scene.
- 1:49:14[SPEAKER_06]: That one is going to be like an actual like, like promotions might close because Karkin is no longer there.
- 1:49:20[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they, but the only, the only way that would mitigate it is if they basically made Tokyo Dom City Hall the same price is quirk.
- 1:49:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:49:29[SPEAKER_06]: But then it's also the question like what happens if I don't know if that would be effected by it?
- 1:49:34[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:49:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because I mean, but here's the thing.
- 1:49:38[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Kraken is safe as long as there are no, like, approved plans to build a new baseball, like, dome, somewhere in total.
- 1:49:48[SPEAKER_04]: But aren't, isn't that always still, isn't that being barely the belt though?
- 1:49:52[SPEAKER_06]: It is being banned, it about, but like I haven't heard anything about like any concrete plans.
- 1:49:58[SPEAKER_06]: And then also the other, again, this isn't going to be like a surprising thing, right?
- 1:50:02[SPEAKER_06]: Like this isn't going to be like a thing, well, like, oh, it's going to be happen all of a sudden, because a and a new dome needs to be approved, then they actually need to start construction.
- 1:50:11[SPEAKER_06]: And then it actually needs to finish construction and be open.
- 1:50:15[SPEAKER_06]: And only then they're going to like start tearing down like the current dome and then probably like,
- 1:50:20[SPEAKER_06]: Currican Hall as well.
- 1:50:22[SPEAKER_06]: So like this will be a thing that promotions will have like a long time to prepare for like it's still gonna hurt them But it's not gonna like this seems to be a thing that kind of came out of nowhere more or less Yeah, um, also are a big blow to the sketchy ass promotions like PPP Oh, yeah, but they're already running out like summer and like Yoko Hama or whatever or like yeah, yeah, kind of the oven.
- 1:50:46[SPEAKER_06]: It's like yeah
- 1:50:47[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, God, like to sketch you, the, I mean, it definitely feels like wrestling is kind of like getting priced out of like central Tokyo right now.
- 1:50:58[SPEAKER_06]: That definitely feels like a thing.
- 1:51:00[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 1:51:01[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I've given it like the new venues are always like more on like the outskirts of the city, basically.
- 1:51:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:51:09[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, and it's so important for these small companies to have somewhere to run in Central Tokyo.
- 1:51:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:51:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:51:18[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, that definitely is something that will hurt like smaller promotions a lot more than bigger promotions unfortunately.
- 1:51:25[SPEAKER_04]: For sure, for sure.
- 1:51:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:51:27[SPEAKER_04]: We'll have to keep it watching, but this could just be a slow motion bleed out for the scene in Central Tokyo.
- 1:51:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:51:33[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that that's what it feels like right now unfortunately.
- 1:51:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I have to figure it out, I just, yeah.
- 1:51:38[SPEAKER_04]: Like, um, there's all these other places like just ideally size-wise, it's back as differs gone, although differ was a little smaller than corkin and there's no, like, so it was Chigoku.
- 1:51:51[SPEAKER_04]: You lose like what a 500-seater about that?
- 1:51:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, they're about shipping a little less.
- 1:51:57[SPEAKER_04]: And, um,
- 1:51:58[SPEAKER_06]: Shinkiba, I mean, obviously there's no location, but it's also, um, Shinkiba isn't necessarily badly located to be honest because it is right next to like a major line.
- 1:52:09[SPEAKER_06]: Like, like, for example, like, I was staying in, uh, in the end of the trip, right?
- 1:52:15[SPEAKER_06]: I can I went to like a show, I went to the zero one Shinkiba show, and that really was only, like, a 20 minute, like, right from me to get there.
- 1:52:24[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it's not.
- 1:52:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:52:26[SPEAKER_06]: inconvenient.
- 1:52:27[SPEAKER_04]: But that only holds what 350 absolute max.
- 1:52:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, no, no, it's not.
- 1:52:32[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a replacement.
- 1:52:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:52:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:52:35[SPEAKER_04]: So that is what it is.
- 1:52:36[SPEAKER_04]: But we'll definitely have to keep our eyes on that.
- 1:52:40[SPEAKER_04]: So part of no, we might have to wait a bit because there's very little coming off this loop, very little going on in early May.
- 1:52:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, early April, and I'll take it all the way down.
- 1:52:57[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, early April.
- 1:52:58[SPEAKER_04]: But the things, but maybe we'll something will come up and we'll something back, but we'll be back in a couple of weeks to get into the big shows for no idea.
- 1:53:08[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, we begin the Champion Cardinals, so we'll see you in a couple of weeks and enjoy all the wrestling out there.
- 1:53:14[SPEAKER_04]: Bye.
