Water restrictions in Skibbereen, Union Hall, and Castletownsend are officially lifted after a tense summer — thanks to community conservation and a rebound in water reserves. Nighttime cuts (10:30 PM to 7 AM) were needed to ease pressure on Lake Cross’s treatment plant, but with demand easing and supplies restored, normal service is back.
