- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hello everyone, we are scrubbing it.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I like the applause.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I know it's nice. Yeah yeah. And you know
- 0:21Speaker 2: what what, Tanya.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I'm going to bring back the dub a dub dub.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Really yeah, hmmm, I think that's controversial.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Fine by me.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Well, I think scrub a dub dub in the tub
- 0:34Speaker 2: a tub tub doesn't make a lot of sense.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna come up with a new jingle because I
- 0:38Speaker 3: Am not letting my flag not be flown.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Okay, that's fine. I just think that that was kind
- 0:46Speaker 2: of a random thing to say at the start of
- 0:47Speaker 2: the episode that turned into an every single episode thing.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Something new I think would be great. Yeah, yeah, bringing
- 0:53Speaker 2: it back, can't wait? All right?
- 0:56Speaker 3: Bringing back the joy in twenty twenty?
- 0:58Speaker 2: What was not joyful? It fine? Good? What was that
- 1:00Speaker 2: joyful about that intro? I thought it was very joyful.
- 1:03Speaker 3: There needs to be a little song, Okay, there has
- 1:06Speaker 3: to be it brings joy.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, great, So I'll change the lyrics so
- 1:12Speaker 2: it'll be the same melody, but not in the Talbot
- 1:15Speaker 2: tab tub correct, So like scrub a dub dub.
- 1:18Speaker 3: We having a good in the club a club club Yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 3: something like that.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Okay, well something look forward to next time.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, he'p you on your toes for next week.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Well, as you may have noticed, it's just the two
- 1:31Speaker 2: of us.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yes, Becca is down bad. Miss Tilly has been sick
- 1:36Speaker 3: for over a week now.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Do you know what her specific ailment is.
- 1:41Speaker 3: She tested negative for COVID and STRAP, but she still
- 1:47Speaker 3: she doesn't really know what she has, but she has
- 1:49Speaker 3: like the sore throat that her ears hurt like everything.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's too bad.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I had it two maybe a week and a
- 1:58Speaker 3: half ago.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Oh really, Yeah, I was sick.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I was here at work and I was like, I
- 2:01Speaker 3: feel like coming.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Oh I remember that. I remember that day you were
- 2:06Speaker 2: you you started to go downhill real fast.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Yes, and it happened real fast. I went home and
- 2:11Speaker 3: like slept and just like I remember, I set my
- 2:13Speaker 3: alarm because we had like a meeting or whatever in
- 2:15Speaker 3: the afternoon. Woke up just for the meeting. I was
- 2:17Speaker 3: fully naked.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I didn't know that. But she was on the zoom
- 2:21Speaker 2: in the meeting and you could she looked like she
- 2:23Speaker 2: was on her deathbed. She really she was just all
- 2:25Speaker 2: like surrounded by pillows and comforters, because I want to
- 2:29Speaker 2: make sure that was fairly open, like you could tell
- 2:32Speaker 2: you woke up just for that meeting.
- 2:36Speaker 3: I went. I was down so like that day and
- 2:38Speaker 3: the next day I was like down bad, and then
- 2:40Speaker 3: I made a recovery. But I also like do all
- 2:44Speaker 3: the things when I get when I feel myself getting sick,
- 2:46Speaker 3: I like take all the defense boosters.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I do all the like, I do all the things
- 2:52Speaker 2: power down. Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I drink as much lemons as I possible, in much
- 2:56Speaker 3: Manuka honey as I can, soup like I just I
- 2:59Speaker 3: literally do it all. Yeah. Okay, some may say it's
- 3:02Speaker 3: a bit overboard, but that's also my personality.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Because some of those are probably old wives tales. Some
- 3:07Speaker 2: may say soup perhaps, I don't know. Is there healing
- 3:10Speaker 2: properties to soup? I think so okay, especially good mots
- 3:14Speaker 2: of ball soup.
- 3:17Speaker 3: AnyWho, So I knocked it in about forty hours.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Nice, Oh that's good. That's good. Yeah. So you feel
- 3:23Speaker 2: like Becka's not doing these things and that's the problem.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Well, I have these like shots that I take the
- 3:28Speaker 3: hap I swear my ol oil o oregano. I feel
- 3:31Speaker 3: like oil oragano and those little like drop ale thingies
- 3:33Speaker 3: like is like game changing. So I sent her a
- 3:36Speaker 3: bunch of these shots that I take when I start
- 3:38Speaker 3: to feel sick, and she's like, I ordered a bunch
- 3:40Speaker 3: of those yesterday. I still have them, and I'm like,
- 3:43Speaker 3: the whole point is to take them quickly and as
- 3:47Speaker 3: fast as you can.
- 3:48Speaker 2: How many of them?
- 3:49Speaker 3: I usually just take two a day, Okay, So but
- 3:51Speaker 3: I get them and I just like pound them. I
- 3:52Speaker 3: feel like she gets them and like SIPs them, and so.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's like a little droppers.
- 3:56Speaker 3: It's like a shot.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It like take of oil of oragono.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, with like other gunkin. Yeah. I was like, Becca,
- 4:03Speaker 3: I need you to send me pictures of empty bottles
- 4:05Speaker 3: so that I can see that you're taking this seriously.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I gotta know. Yeah, MoMA's got to know, so she
- 4:11Speaker 2: may not be taking this seriously correct, Okay, Well, best
- 4:14Speaker 2: wish is Becca. Yeah, you be back on your feet soon. Yes,
- 4:19Speaker 2: And Easton is out of town. So it's just us
- 4:22Speaker 2: love it. You know, summer break, the pod must go on.
- 4:24Speaker 3: It's summer break, it is, and we're just living.
- 4:27Speaker 2: You never know what you're going to get.
- 4:28Speaker 3: You never know what you're gonna get, and you know, summer. Actually,
- 4:31Speaker 3: our boss posted this on her Instagram the other day,
- 4:33Speaker 3: which made me so happy. She was like, it was
- 4:37Speaker 3: a meme that said summer something that summer lasting until
- 4:42Speaker 3: September twenty second, so hand me my margarita or something
- 4:45Speaker 3: like it's Summer's not over.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And I was like, I love that. It is nice. Yeah,
- 4:49Speaker 2: it is nice. Yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 3: So we just out here living.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Living up a living. Yeah, you teased us with little
- 5:00Speaker 2: something before we started rolling. Yes, you're on a flight
- 5:03Speaker 2: back from your vacation, because last week it was Becca
- 5:05Speaker 2: by yourself. Yes.
- 5:06Speaker 3: So now she's so I do what I would like
- 5:08Speaker 3: to I Becca, I was always going to be gone.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I don't even know last week. So we were going
- 5:15Speaker 3: to pre record the podcast the day I went down.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I was down, and then Beca's like, I was going
- 5:20Speaker 3: to try and come in the next day and she's like,
- 5:22Speaker 3: just relax, Well, I'll do it next week without you.
- 5:24Speaker 3: So that's what happened there. And then what was I
- 5:29Speaker 3: telling you?
- 5:29Speaker 2: You were on the flight back?
- 5:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, So I'm on my
- 5:32Speaker 3: flight back and we get on the plane, and we
- 5:36Speaker 3: hear the like the flight attendants saying, like, uh, taking
- 5:43Speaker 3: photos of people without their consent? You know, is you
- 5:46Speaker 3: can't take basically something about taking photos without people's consent,
- 5:50Speaker 3: which I've never ever ever heard on an airplane in
- 5:53Speaker 3: my life.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So you might as well announce your at tangiblease someone
- 5:56Speaker 2: famous is on this plane.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I didn't even think about that, Like, my mind didn't go.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I was like, this is just like weird. I didn't
- 6:03Speaker 3: think anything of it. And it was a long flight.
- 6:05Speaker 3: It was an eleven hour flight, so I'm like not
- 6:07Speaker 3: thinking anything. The flight lands and I look up. We're
- 6:13Speaker 3: like behind the row, like the behind wear first classes,
- 6:17Speaker 3: so there's like, you know, they have like the shutter
- 6:19Speaker 3: or whatever the curtains so they're all curtained up and whatever.
- 6:23Speaker 3: But when the plane lands, they open the curtains and
- 6:27Speaker 3: you know, nose, the little meme peaks are headed.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Sure, who do I see? Should we guess? Yeah, Sam,
- 6:32Speaker 2: you want to get in on this. Okay, we're going
- 6:35Speaker 2: to guess male yes or no questions only are they
- 6:42Speaker 2: together and not normally together?
- 6:43Speaker 3: Is that a question?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Okay? Is it a couple?
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yes?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Is it a male female couple? Yes?
- 6:51Speaker 1: Are they married?
- 6:53Speaker 3: Yes?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Is one more famous than the other?
- 6:56Speaker 3: Oh? Tough question. I would say to the rare eye, yes,
- 7:02Speaker 3: but to me, they're equally famous, okay, or not rare
- 7:06Speaker 3: eye to the human eye.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Right to the to them, yeah, whatever I'd say.
- 7:13Speaker 3: People would say one is more famous than the other,
- 7:14Speaker 3: but I think they're equally famous.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber. Wrong, Okay, go for it.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Go ahead, Sam Megan and Harry No, okay.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Are they in the same line of work?
- 7:31Speaker 3: No?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Interesting?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. No.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Is one a musician? Yes? Is the male a musician? Yes,
- 7:41Speaker 2: so you're on the right track. There is the woman?
- 7:44Speaker 2: Not a musician? Correct?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman.
- 7:48Speaker 2: No, good guesses, though, very nice? Okay, male musician female not?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Is the female and actress?
- 7:55Speaker 3: No? What else? Could she be? A model? Yes?
- 8:03Speaker 2: What else? Could you? Feel like? This should be obvious
- 8:05Speaker 2: and we're not getting it. So it's a male musician
- 8:07Speaker 2: and a female model? Which does I guess? Doesn't narrow?
- 8:10Speaker 2: Done too much?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Adam Levine and no, but good guess.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Excellent guests. Yeah they're married?
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yes?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Uh? Yelling at yelling?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Have you talked about them on the podcast before.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I mean, we've had this podcast. Give it a prediction
- 8:31Speaker 2: after their viability as a couple before. I don't.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I can't say for certain, but I imagine probably they're
- 8:39Speaker 3: like a very hot couple.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Are they like in the news recently?
- 8:45Speaker 2: No?
- 8:46Speaker 1: Do they have children?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yes? John Legends good one. Was there an interaction between
- 8:59Speaker 2: you and either of the No?
- 9:00Speaker 3: And honestly, like I was like, I've met John Legend
- 9:03Speaker 3: so many times, full of times show when performed, he
- 9:07Speaker 3: was on my vision board. I told him all about
- 9:09Speaker 3: being on my vision board.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I've seen him.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I went to like listen to some of his music
- 9:13Speaker 3: in the studio, so like he he would have no
- 9:15Speaker 3: idea who I was, but you would know my face.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I would be a familiarity there. Yes, but Christino.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Never Christy and I love Chrissy.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And I was like, do I I agree equally equally famous?
- 9:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I think people would argue John Legend is more famous
- 9:31Speaker 3: than him. I think some might argue that famous the
- 9:34Speaker 3: rare eye. Some might argue that she is more famous
- 9:37Speaker 3: than he.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah that's true.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Yeah that's my rare eye. Yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 2: The younger generation, the social media generation. Yes, ye, yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 2: I agree.
- 9:45Speaker 3: So it did cross my mind to like.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Sidle up.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but they the way we were exiting the plane,
- 9:56Speaker 3: they were heading like there were there was no way
- 9:58Speaker 3: they were turning. I thought they were gonna to turn
- 10:00Speaker 3: our way to like exit the plane, but we all
- 10:02Speaker 3: had to go out that way, and so there was
- 10:04Speaker 3: just no eye contact to be made.
- 10:06Speaker 2: So that's too bad.
- 10:07Speaker 3: And I was looking pretty rough, so I thought maybe
- 10:10Speaker 3: eleven hour flight.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I don't think much is expected of you at that point.
- 10:14Speaker 3: But I was like, maybe you won't even recognize my face.
- 10:16Speaker 3: But it's all like I have like my mouth tape
- 10:18Speaker 3: on it, like drew my face. It's just like not, wait.
- 10:21Speaker 2: A minute, when you sleep on a flight, do you
- 10:23Speaker 2: go full on full mouth mouth tape? I ask?
- 10:27Speaker 3: Depends?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah, what else do you There's other stuff you do?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Neck pillow? Is there a nose situation?
- 10:32Speaker 3: I don't do the nose thing, No, which is Robbie
- 10:34Speaker 3: the nose tape.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just Robbie. Yeah, I see. Okay, so neck pillow,
- 10:38Speaker 2: mouth tape, I asked, Yeah, pretty kind of a mummy
- 10:41Speaker 2: yes at that point.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I don't know if you can see this
- 10:44Speaker 3: pimple right here, I can. I took one nap on
- 10:48Speaker 3: my vacation, a deep nap, like I'm talking like an
- 10:51Speaker 3: hour and a half to two hour nap, and I
- 10:53Speaker 3: didn't put my mouth tape on and I was drooling,
- 10:56Speaker 3: and that got this pimple. So I will not even
- 10:59Speaker 3: take without my mouth tape now.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Yeah, if there's any mouth tape people out there, and
- 11:05Speaker 3: please sponsor this podcast because it really changed my life
- 11:09Speaker 3: in so many ways.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, but it was a good vacation.
- 11:12Speaker 3: It was an excellent vacation. You were also gone as well.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I was in New York City for how many days?
- 11:18Speaker 2: We did a full week in New York City Saturday
- 11:21Speaker 2: to Saturday.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Nice.
- 11:22Speaker 2: My kids had never been there before, and as young performers,
- 11:25Speaker 2: they talk of living there one day, so that it
- 11:29Speaker 2: was important that they see it before they would ever
- 11:31Speaker 2: consider such a thing, right.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Because like when you're thinking, when you think about New
- 11:34Speaker 3: York City when you're younger, it's like the lights and
- 11:36Speaker 3: the clips. What did they think after they left?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's funny, and that's the way I
- 11:39Speaker 2: put this to my family. And one of our last
- 11:42Speaker 2: nights there was New York is incredibly crowded, incredibly disgusting,
- 11:49Speaker 2: and yet somehow magical. Yeah, and that's a weird combination. Yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 2: because we got all of that. I know it's good
- 11:55Speaker 2: because I wanted him to see all of that. I
- 11:56Speaker 2: wanted him to see the top of the Empire State
- 11:58Speaker 2: Building and it wanted them to step over a puddle
- 12:00Speaker 2: of vomit, which they did. Yeah. So that's important that
- 12:03Speaker 2: you get hard to find. It's important that you get
- 12:06Speaker 2: to the full experience, and they did. They rode the subway,
- 12:09Speaker 2: they wrote in cabs like they got the full experience
- 12:12Speaker 2: of what it's like to be in New York and
- 12:14Speaker 2: they liked it. Yeah. Well, in the last dinners, well
- 12:17Speaker 2: here we've been for a week. Could you guys live
- 12:18Speaker 2: for one night? Yes, one hundred percent yes, they said, okay, wow,
- 12:22Speaker 2: we'll see, we'll see how that works out. Yeah, and
- 12:25Speaker 2: they're like, oh, you know, I could live in Brooklyn
- 12:27Speaker 2: or I could. I was like, okay, you guys couldn't
- 12:28Speaker 2: afford anything you're talking about. But that's nice that you're
- 12:31Speaker 2: thinking along these lines.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but they can move in together.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Jeez. Maybe, I guess I hadn't thought of that.
- 12:37Speaker 3: That could be really cute.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It would be very cute, yes, but anyway, we had
- 12:41Speaker 2: a great time. Nice, thank you. We saw three shows,
- 12:44Speaker 2: which ones? Okay, we saw and Juliet Tanya you would
- 12:50Speaker 2: love and Juliet did.
- 12:52Speaker 3: You see Sunset Boulevard?
- 12:53Speaker 2: No, it might be over. And Juliet is a jukebox musical.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Do you know what that means. It means it's a
- 13:01Speaker 2: musical made of songs that already existed before the musical existed.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You know, the songs aren't original for the musical, Like
- 13:08Speaker 2: Mama Me is a great example of a jukebox musical.
- 13:10Speaker 2: This is a jukebox musical with all of the music
- 13:13Speaker 2: you love. It's Ariana Grande, it's Pink Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears,
- 13:18Speaker 2: it's all from the last twenty years or so, Backstreet Boys'.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Those are the songs that make up and Juliet. And
- 13:23Speaker 2: the premise of the of the show is no spoilers.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Shakespeare is bragging to his wife, here's my new play,
- 13:32Speaker 2: Romeo and Juliet, and here's the ending. Romeo kills himself
- 13:35Speaker 2: and then Juliette kills herself, and his wife was like,
- 13:39Speaker 2: that's a terrible ending. What are you doing? Why would
- 13:41Speaker 2: you want someone to read such an awful ending? So
- 13:44Speaker 2: what are you talking about? So she basically says, what
- 13:46Speaker 2: if Juliette doesn't kill herself? And then that's the show?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Is Juliette's life after Romeo if she doesn't suicide at
- 13:54Speaker 2: the end. And then periodically Shakespeare and his wife show
- 13:57Speaker 2: up throughout the thing to kind of steer the plot,
- 13:59Speaker 2: and they steal the show. Oh, it's fantastic. The music's great.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It is so fun. Joey Fatone was in it. He's
- 14:05Speaker 2: not in it anymore, but he was in it when
- 14:06Speaker 2: we were there. She was hilarious and Joey fotone on
- 14:10Speaker 2: the stage singing dancing through a Backstreet Boys song as
- 14:13Speaker 2: a whole other level of enjoyment to the Yeah, but
- 14:15Speaker 2: that was great and he was great. I loved it.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It was one of the best things I've seen. It
- 14:20Speaker 2: was phenomenal.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Is that why Joey Fatone was not? I feel like
- 14:22Speaker 3: the Instinct members posted a photo recently and Joey was
- 14:26Speaker 3: not a part of that.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Was that? But I know a few of them went
- 14:28Speaker 2: and saw him in Angelia recently. So love that, love it,
- 14:32Speaker 2: love it. Saw that. So a hell's Kitchen. Another jukebox musical,
- 14:35Speaker 2: but only the music of Aliicia Keys, because it's Alisia
- 14:38Speaker 2: Keys written and produced and it's loosely based on her
- 14:40Speaker 2: life growing up in Hell's Kitchen with her mom. It's
- 14:42Speaker 2: a love story about a mother and mother and daughter. Wonderful.
- 14:47Speaker 2: A Juliett was just fun. It was a party. This
- 14:49Speaker 2: one was more intense, more somber, more dramatic, but the
- 14:53Speaker 2: finale is mind blowing and it's really wonderful. And then afterwards,
- 14:57Speaker 2: my daughter really wanted a stage door where you stand
- 15:00Speaker 2: outside the stage john you wait for the actors to
- 15:02Speaker 2: come out and try to get them to sign stuff.
- 15:04Speaker 2: And it was cool because the way that theater is
- 15:06Speaker 2: set up, there's a big area over there on the
- 15:07Speaker 2: side that's kind of an alleyway between two streets. And
- 15:10Speaker 2: so they came out, signed autographs, took pictures. How'd you
- 15:15Speaker 2: like the show? Thank you for coming. It was very sweet.
- 15:17Speaker 2: It was really nice. So my daughter got to meet
- 15:19Speaker 2: all of them. Okay, one more show, Death Becomes Her
- 15:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's.
- 15:24Speaker 3: One of my favorite movies. Is it really uh huh?
- 15:26Speaker 2: Oh my god, You've got to see this because I
- 15:28Speaker 2: didn't really remember the movie like I remember the poster.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Oh my God is backwards.
- 15:33Speaker 3: The movie is so iconic.
- 15:35Speaker 2: The show is so hysterical, you just laugh.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Anybody the famous Yes.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child is in it.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Is she one of the main Death Becomes Her girls?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Not one of the two. No, she's the Isabella Rossolini
- 15:50Speaker 2: character from the movie. She's the one that supplies them
- 15:51Speaker 2: with the postion. Megan Hilty, who you may not be
- 15:55Speaker 2: familiar with but is a Broadway legend. She is the
- 15:58Speaker 2: Meryl Streep character. And I don't know the name of
- 16:00Speaker 2: the woman who play the Goldie Han character, but she
- 16:02Speaker 2: was hysterical as well. It is so funny. It is
- 16:06Speaker 2: NonStop laughs the entire show and the music is great.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And as much as I love that and Juliet, I
- 16:11Speaker 2: think our favorite was Death Becomes Her because it was
- 16:13Speaker 2: just great.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the best movie ever.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Well, you'll love this show because it's if you love
- 16:19Speaker 2: that storyline, you'll love the show. And the characters are hilarious.
- 16:22Speaker 2: The actresses are brilliant in it.
- 16:24Speaker 3: It's really a Halloween movie, yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Kinda, but boy it's not. It doesn't have to be
- 16:30Speaker 2: at all. Yeah, yeah, but I could see why it
- 16:32Speaker 2: could be right because there's death and after death, right,
- 16:36Speaker 2: but it's really great. So if you're in the New
- 16:38Speaker 2: York area, you got to see Death becomes Her. It's phenomenal. Yeah,
- 16:41Speaker 2: and then after that they try to stay Drew again,
- 16:43Speaker 2: different deal, now a different level because there's bigger celebrities involved.
- 16:47Speaker 2: So now there's gates up, there's security around, and they're
- 16:49Speaker 2: basically just going from the stage arch of their limo.
- 16:51Speaker 2: They're just walking across the sidewalks of their limo. A
- 16:54Speaker 2: few did stop and sign some autographs and that was
- 16:56Speaker 2: very nice. But it was a whole different vibe than
- 16:57Speaker 2: Hell's Kitchen. It was great. It was wonderful and we
- 17:00Speaker 2: did everything. We did a Vampire State building, We did
- 17:02Speaker 2: the NBC tour, so they had wanted too what they
- 17:04Speaker 2: do set in their life they do. We did Central Park,
- 17:08Speaker 2: We did the Gossip Girl steps. We just checked everything off.
- 17:11Speaker 2: We did this. We didn't go to the Statue of
- 17:13Speaker 2: Liberty Boo and saw it from the you know, Battery Park.
- 17:17Speaker 2: We just did so much stuff and it was so great. Wow,
- 17:20Speaker 2: it was a wonderful, wonderful week.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Did you sleep at all?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot. Why do you ask seemed booked and busy. Well,
- 17:27Speaker 2: that's the other thing is my kids were in intensive
- 17:29Speaker 2: singing and dancing things all week, so they had jobs.
- 17:32Speaker 2: They had nine to six jobs basically every day.
- 17:34Speaker 3: So when did you do all the sight seeing?
- 17:36Speaker 2: Mostly on the Sunday prior and then each day we'd
- 17:39Speaker 2: get them to where they got to go, and then
- 17:40Speaker 2: my wife and I would have the day free and
- 17:42Speaker 2: that was wonderful. And then and then we'd pick them
- 17:44Speaker 2: up a night and then go have dinner or go
- 17:46Speaker 2: see a show. Right, and it was great. Our hotel
- 17:48Speaker 2: was a little because it was hot in New York
- 17:51Speaker 2: last week and muggy. That's another added to the disgustingness
- 17:55Speaker 2: of New York. Yeah, and our hotel rooms AC was
- 17:58Speaker 2: not keeping up and they were not being great about it.
- 18:02Speaker 2: We ended up changing rooms and then after that everything
- 18:06Speaker 2: kind of calmed down. But until we changed rooms, it
- 18:08Speaker 2: was there was a lot of stress because it's just
- 18:11Speaker 2: sticky and gross.
- 18:13Speaker 3: There's nothing worse, yes than being in a room without
- 18:17Speaker 3: your ACE. When I did Miami.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Swim Week last year, I remember they.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Put me in a room without AC and Miami gets.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Like, oh yeah, crazy, how are there rooms in Miami
- 18:27Speaker 2: without AC.
- 18:28Speaker 3: So I was like, I don't understand how this is
- 18:30Speaker 3: a thing.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it shouldn't exist. Yeah I moved of course. Yeah. Yeah,
- 18:35Speaker 2: well they moved us as well. Yeah they had some
- 18:37Speaker 2: fixed thing to do.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I feel like they Yeah.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It was great. It was a great week. We would
- 18:44Speaker 2: change that if we could, but other than that, wouldn't
- 18:45Speaker 2: change a thing.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I love that.
- 18:47Speaker 2: It was really good.
- 18:50Speaker 3: We still have so much to catch up on, so much,
- 18:55Speaker 3: I know, but with to squeeze in a little break.
- 18:57Speaker 2: We'll break you poo right now. Okay, Becca does it
- 19:03Speaker 2: so much better and we're back your microphone learning from
- 19:25Speaker 2: over there.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It's tough in these streets. I went to Spain last week. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 3: you know, decided Rob and I we're gonna get married
- 19:38Speaker 3: and then we're just gonna have like a bang in summer.
- 19:42Speaker 2: And because you had your honeymoon, yes, you had a
- 19:44Speaker 2: little free honeymoon.
- 19:46Speaker 3: No, I went on a work trip, but it was
- 19:48Speaker 3: to can Oh that's right, So I did that. I know,
- 19:52Speaker 3: it's been like I've been home. I was like, I'll
- 19:55Speaker 3: go away and then I'll be home for a week
- 19:57Speaker 3: or maybe two weeks, and then I'm awake.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Just a the other side of the world.
- 20:01Speaker 3: So that's the thing. Our honeymoon was not so bad
- 20:04Speaker 3: because it was like the New York to LA time change,
- 20:07Speaker 3: which is to me, no big deal, Like I'm not yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 3: the La to Europe time change is a real humdinger.
- 20:15Speaker 3: And when I was in can I was like up
- 20:20Speaker 3: till three am, sleeping till ten, like in that kind
- 20:23Speaker 3: of thing. When Robin and I went to Spain, the
- 20:26Speaker 3: first two nights were like so crazy in terms of
- 20:31Speaker 3: the jet lag. We barely slept the first night, and
- 20:34Speaker 3: then the second night we didn't sleep at all. Like
- 20:37Speaker 3: I slept in and out like I think I maybe
- 20:40Speaker 3: collectively got like three hours. He didn't sleep a wink
- 20:43Speaker 3: the whole night, and like it gets to the point
- 20:45Speaker 3: where you're just like so frustrated that you could.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Like cry not sleep during the day.
- 20:50Speaker 3: That's the thing that was weird. It's like normally you
- 20:52Speaker 3: like get tired during the day, you want to take
- 20:54Speaker 3: a nap. We never we didn't have that. We just
- 20:55Speaker 3: like could not sleep at night for the first.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But it's like trying to sleep at eleven in the morning, right,
- 21:02Speaker 2: Like it's just off your schedule.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Off your circadian rhythm.
- 21:05Speaker 2: That's what I.
- 21:07Speaker 3: So the first two days we were just kind of
- 21:09Speaker 3: like napping in between whenever like we could. But then
- 21:13Speaker 3: once we kind of like got into it, it was
- 21:16Speaker 3: much better. But that was crazy. So the first part
- 21:18Speaker 3: we went to Majorca, but we were only there for
- 21:21Speaker 3: really a day. I wanted to see where back in
- 21:24Speaker 3: Haley got engaged, but we didn't have the time. And
- 21:28Speaker 3: like that, I didn't realize how giant Majorca was.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I would never have guessed that.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I thought it was like a small little island. No, no, no,
- 21:35Speaker 3: it's like a forty five minute drive just to get across.
- 21:39Speaker 2: The World's a big place. Huge. Yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 3: So anyways, we did that and then after uh, Majorca,
- 21:48Speaker 3: we took a ferry to a Biza, which I as
- 21:52Speaker 3: it's they say Abitha, but like.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Because they're Spanish people.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Yes, correct, And that also was way bigger than I thought. Giant.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Again I'm thinking everything's.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Did you take a pill and a visa?
- 22:06Speaker 3: I did not take a pill on a visa, not
- 22:07Speaker 3: even like.
- 22:08Speaker 2: A tail or anything. If I took a talent, I
- 22:10Speaker 2: was like, I'm taking a pill in a pizza right now.
- 22:12Speaker 2: That would be took a lot of my prenatals. That counts. Yeah,
- 22:15Speaker 2: you did it.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I took a pill. And although we did go to
- 22:22Speaker 3: Calvin Harris, so god, so that's like his place, I
- 22:28Speaker 3: guess in the summer. Sure, he performs every Tuesday and
- 22:31Speaker 3: every Friday at Tuesday's interesting, yeah, but every day is
- 22:35Speaker 3: like party town and a visa. I wish you could
- 22:39Speaker 3: have seen us in this, like Crawd, like we were
- 22:42Speaker 3: like what are we doing here? Like we're so not
- 22:44Speaker 3: this is so not us, yes, Like it's like young kids,
- 22:49Speaker 3: Like I don't even know what kind of drugs these
- 22:50Speaker 3: people are on. I'm like barely drinking mind you, because
- 22:54Speaker 3: I'm you know, like in that next chapter where I'm
- 22:57Speaker 3: just like trying to just like sip on things like
- 23:01Speaker 3: you know. But anyway, so I'm just like watching all
- 23:03Speaker 3: this go down. I was just like, Wow, but he's amazing,
- 23:07Speaker 3: Calvin Harris. And he just had a baby.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Okay he didn't, but someone near him did. Well.
- 23:15Speaker 3: His wife had a baby like two days before or
- 23:18Speaker 3: maybe like a week before, I don't know, some days
- 23:21Speaker 3: before we saw him perform. Anyways, shouldn't he be home
- 23:25Speaker 3: with her or her at that point?
- 23:27Speaker 2: Daddy's gotta pay the bill he doesn't. He's got a
- 23:29Speaker 2: lot of money that.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I imagine you are under some sort of contract perhaps right.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Also, I don't understand how is it DJ great because
- 23:37Speaker 2: isn't he just up there pressing buttons and waving his
- 23:38Speaker 2: hand in the air, Like I know I'm old when
- 23:40Speaker 2: I asked that question, but I've never understood it.
- 23:43Speaker 3: So I think Calvin Harris is different from like a
- 23:46Speaker 3: regular old DJ because he produces so many songs. So
- 23:50Speaker 3: he's wiki wiki like all of his songs, you know
- 23:53Speaker 3: what I mean. So it's like I knee your Love
- 23:55Speaker 3: into like the one with Rihanna into like all of
- 23:57Speaker 3: his hits, So you really like, he's not just wiki
- 23:59Speaker 3: week random people's songs. He's wiki waking all of his songs.
- 24:04Speaker 2: So to me, that's like, but but isn't that just
- 24:07Speaker 2: like making a playlist.
- 24:09Speaker 3: It's like performing your songs. But he's got the light,
- 24:13Speaker 3: machines are going, the fire is going.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I guess it's a show. It's it's a spectacle.
- 24:21Speaker 3: It's a spectacle.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Okay, I think, yeah, but.
- 24:26Speaker 3: He was amazing and that was definitely highlight. And then
- 24:31Speaker 3: I'm trying to think what else.
- 24:33Speaker 2: He's worth three hundred million By the way, what those bills,
- 24:37Speaker 2: those ends are meeting? What, Yeah, bills are paid? I think, yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 24:44Speaker 3: But I feel like when you do something like that,
- 24:46Speaker 3: he's probably under contract.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Okay, sure, I would think.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, like I would think if you are somebody that
- 24:51Speaker 3: has that much money.
- 24:52Speaker 2: That should have put a little paternity clause in his contract.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Should I'm saying this is word to the wise. Any
- 24:58Speaker 3: listeners who are planning to have a baby that might
- 25:01Speaker 3: be world famous DJs, always have the paternity clause in
- 25:05Speaker 3: your contract.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yes, totally. She probably wasn't thrilled with him. Sorry, babe,
- 25:09Speaker 2: got a gig checulator.
- 25:11Speaker 3: But if you think about it, he's gone for how
- 25:14Speaker 3: it's two hours nine to eleven.
- 25:16Speaker 2: He lived there?
- 25:16Speaker 3: You think I think he must live there? And when
- 25:19Speaker 3: he posted the baby announcement, it was a bez of Spain,
- 25:23Speaker 3: so imagining they live there for the summer. Sure, but
- 25:27Speaker 3: again this is all just like allegedly my own.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah, these are assumptions from Yeah, I have.
- 25:31Speaker 3: No literally no idea. But uh, what was I saying?
- 25:38Speaker 2: I'm not sure, but I'll tell you this. His son
- 25:40Speaker 2: is named Micah Micah.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, did you see the carousel he posted?
- 25:44Speaker 2: No I didn't he posted.
- 25:45Speaker 3: The placenta gross and uh no, it's actually really cute
- 25:49Speaker 3: because like, what's the thing that comes out down from
- 25:51Speaker 3: the placenta that the like.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Oh, that is disgusting.
- 25:53Speaker 3: No, but look it makes a shape of a heart.
- 25:57Speaker 2: It's still disgusting now.
- 25:59Speaker 3: And then if you slid two over, slide too over on.
- 26:03Speaker 2: The streets of New York might have made a heart,
- 26:04Speaker 2: it would have still have been disgusting.
- 26:06Speaker 3: They made pills out of the place. Is that a thing?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Apparently, that's I've heard that. I've heard of that before.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Is it a new thing?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Ish? Yeah, are you going to do that?
- 26:15Speaker 3: Seems not totally My thing seems right up my ass.
- 26:20Speaker 2: A disgusting photo, though, just to.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Be clear on that, you don't think the heart at
- 26:23Speaker 3: the end is like so sweet? Is so sweet?
- 26:26Speaker 2: It's a bloody malo. Gross.
- 26:30Speaker 3: One man's gross is another man's gorgeous, you know. So Anyways,
- 26:37Speaker 3: it's so funny because I feel like our honeymoon Robbie
- 26:39Speaker 3: and I are the exact same. When we travel. We
- 26:41Speaker 3: always want like one activity a day, and like that's it.
- 26:46Speaker 3: We love to We just want to like relax, We
- 26:48Speaker 3: like to explore. We don't really want to have like
- 26:50Speaker 3: an itinerary when we travel with friends. My friends like
- 26:53Speaker 3: love to have like they're very what's the word, like
- 26:58Speaker 3: type a in terms of like structure, and so we
- 27:01Speaker 3: always have like a structure. So it's very Yeah, Lund
- 27:06Speaker 3: the Dinners at nine, like this is at this time,
- 27:09Speaker 3: Calvin goes on at this time. Everything was very old
- 27:12Speaker 3: nine nine ended at eleven.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Oh I love that it was a dad now.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess yeah, it was like works for me. Yeah,
- 27:23Speaker 3: but I think there are some other DJs that go
- 27:25Speaker 3: to like I think the party.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Go on at one or something crazy.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Our flight was at six thirty am in the morning. Yeah,
- 27:31Speaker 3: obviously am is in the morning, and I'm like fairly
- 27:34Speaker 3: certain that people were coming to the airport just straight
- 27:37Speaker 3: from like.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Out, Wow, yeah, that's as for you.
- 27:40Speaker 3: That is a visa for you. It's so funny because
- 27:43Speaker 3: we're so not like those people. But it was fun
- 27:47Speaker 3: I've never ever been there, I've never experienced it, but
- 27:50Speaker 3: it's just funny because I feel like I noticed that
- 27:53Speaker 3: when he and I traveled, just the two of us,
- 27:56Speaker 3: it's like very laid back and then. But it's nice
- 28:00Speaker 3: to have both because I feel like We got to
- 28:02Speaker 3: see so much and do so much, whereas if it
- 28:04Speaker 3: was just he and I we would have done like
- 28:05Speaker 3: half of the things. So yeah, it was fun. We're back.
- 28:11Speaker 3: My circadian rhythm is definitely off. Okay, I'm feeling a
- 28:14Speaker 3: little bit like wonky. Okay, but we out here.
- 28:19Speaker 2: We're doing it.
- 28:20Speaker 3: We're doing it. Were out here.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Next week.
- 28:23Speaker 3: We're going to the Backstory Boys.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Zeland next week. I think you said you're going to
- 28:26Speaker 2: New Zealand next week, Vegas, Vegas. Oh, I see that's
- 28:30Speaker 2: a little better. Yeah, you're going to back to your
- 28:32Speaker 2: boys and when this weekend, next weekend, next weekend after
- 28:35Speaker 2: next yeah okay.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Sorry not yeah, not this weekend. But we beck and
- 28:39Speaker 3: I will be going together. Oh cute, super cute, like
- 28:43Speaker 3: a double date.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Will you share a hotel room?
- 28:46Speaker 3: No, well I think we'll share a hotel. That's nice
- 28:49Speaker 3: because we're bringing our significant others.
- 28:51Speaker 2: I see, yeah, it's a foursome.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a foursome. But it was there. Becka Haley's
- 28:55Speaker 3: one month since they got engaged, so I sent them
- 28:57Speaker 3: like a happy one month engaged. I was like, just
- 29:00Speaker 3: so you know, I put it in my calendar every
- 29:02Speaker 3: month on the day, so you'll beginning a text from
- 29:05Speaker 3: me on your two months, and your three months and
- 29:07Speaker 3: your four month. And I only did it through that
- 29:10Speaker 3: end of twenty twenty five, so maybe I'll stop after that.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I have a friend who's been with his wife for
- 29:15Speaker 2: thirty five years now, and I do text them every
- 29:19Speaker 2: year on that day, but it's the day they started dating.
- 29:22Speaker 2: It's not their wedding anniversary. I will text them on
- 29:24Speaker 2: that day every year, and it's always surprised to them,
- 29:26Speaker 2: and I think they like it. I think they like
- 29:28Speaker 2: being reminded that, oh, today's the day we started dating
- 29:31Speaker 2: thirty years ago whatever. So yeah, I mean that's I
- 29:33Speaker 2: think that's a similarity you and I have. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 2: yeah poems, but.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Just a short little poem, like a four sentence Yeah,
- 29:42Speaker 3: I love it. Yeah. Actually, it's so funny. Are in
- 29:45Speaker 3: November is our sixth year? Like dating? Answer story? And
- 29:50Speaker 3: I was like, do we still celebrate that after you're married?
- 29:52Speaker 2: And what did he say?
- 29:54Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 29:54Speaker 3: This is just what I said.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I think every year I say to my wife, happy anniversary,
- 29:58Speaker 2: and then she kind of freezes because she doesn't know
- 30:00Speaker 2: what I'm talking about, and then she remembers that it's
- 30:02Speaker 2: our date aniversary and I'm the only one that remembers that.
- 30:05Speaker 2: But that's okay, Like that's.
- 30:07Speaker 3: That's I don't mean, like go on, like do anything crazy?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Is the cancer? Is that why you and I are
- 30:11Speaker 2: into that sort of thing? Maybe I think stereotypically I
- 30:15Speaker 2: think women do more, but I I do it more.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Oh, I remember the day we got engaged, so I'll
- 30:19Speaker 3: remember just since you engage.
- 30:23Speaker 2: That as well.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I remember obviously. I remember our wedding date, so our
- 30:26Speaker 3: wedding day, our engagement date, and then the day we
- 30:28Speaker 3: started dating.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I do first kiss too.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Oh, I don't even know the day we kissed first.
- 30:32Speaker 3: I guess it was our first date.
- 30:33Speaker 2: It's actually the same as our engagement day, just a
- 30:36Speaker 2: few years apart. We didn't wait to kiss until we
- 30:38Speaker 2: got engaged. It's a few years apart.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh that's cute.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Well, I tried to propose on our date aversary, but
- 30:44Speaker 2: it didn't quite work out, so I did the day after.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I wanted to be consistent. I wanted to get married
- 30:49Speaker 2: on our dataversary because it was a Saturday, and I
- 30:52Speaker 2: did plan that out. Like we've been dating. I don't
- 30:55Speaker 2: know two and a half three years, and I was like,
- 30:57Speaker 2: let me check the calendar. Oh my gosh, our fifth
- 30:59Speaker 2: dating anniversary is a Saturday. We should get married that day.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I'll propose at four years. Oh, this is going to
- 31:05Speaker 2: be perfect. Well, it didn't work out because she was
- 31:08Speaker 2: going to college and more park out here the Exotic Animal.
- 31:10Speaker 2: We can talk about this another time, but she had
- 31:13Speaker 2: to start that a few weeks prior, and so we
- 31:15Speaker 2: got married in July.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Wow.
- 31:17Speaker 2: But I'm flexible, Like I had a plan.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, chill, chill, crazy, absolutely every anything but
- 31:23Speaker 3: everything everything in breezy.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Everything in breezy.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Yeah da, that was fine, couldn't be chiller. But you
- 31:28Speaker 3: know one thing that I really realized on this trip,
- 31:31Speaker 3: and I was talking to my one of my best friends,
- 31:33Speaker 3: Paulina about it. I never like on my list, you know,
- 31:37Speaker 3: and like you make a list like what you want
- 31:38Speaker 3: your future husband to like be or whatever. I never
- 31:42Speaker 3: once thought it was important, and I guess in hindsight
- 31:45Speaker 3: it's so obvious. I never thought, like Robbie is so
- 31:50Speaker 3: tight with my friends, like take me out of the equation.
- 31:55Speaker 3: He has a relationship with all of them outside of me,
- 31:58Speaker 3: which I think is so special, Like they think of
- 32:02Speaker 3: Robbie like a brother. Yeah, And I never thought that
- 32:05Speaker 3: that would matter so much to me, and it's been
- 32:08Speaker 3: like a huge thing. And even my girlfriend was like, oh,
- 32:11Speaker 3: I now because of Robbie, I want like my partner
- 32:16Speaker 3: to be a part of the group like this, you know,
- 32:19Speaker 3: like yeah, And I was like, wow, I never thought
- 32:22Speaker 3: that I wanted that and somebody until I had it.
- 32:24Speaker 3: And it's the.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Best if you have the hard guy to not.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Like I know, I know, he's very likable, very likable. Yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 3: but like, but I just like with my girlfriends, there's
- 32:37Speaker 3: like a there's like something there, do you know what
- 32:39Speaker 3: I mean, Like they actually ask him for his opinion
- 32:42Speaker 3: on things, and I feel like there's like a genuine
- 32:44Speaker 3: friendship and I just think it's so sweet.
- 32:46Speaker 2: It's good.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I'm so glad you brought this up because I wanted
- 32:50Speaker 1: to ask you about Robbie wearing Paulina's baby suit bottoms.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, wow, Well that's a tease. We're gonna talk
- 33:00Speaker 2: about that on the other side of this ray. We're back.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Back in business.
- 33:24Speaker 2: So Robbie wore Paulina's bathing suit bottoms? Yes, where can
- 33:27Speaker 2: I see this photo?
- 33:30Speaker 3: So I'm glad you asked, because when you snooze, you
- 33:33Speaker 3: lose and it was on my story and now it's
- 33:36Speaker 3: gone because it vanishes after twenty four hours.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Mark, So I missed that. I need to be better
- 33:41Speaker 2: about that.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Yeah, this is what happens when you don't refresh my Instagram.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yep, that's lesson learned.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Lesson learned. Yeah, I'm sure it's in the Facebook group now.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Oh probably.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but there's really no crazy story behind it other
- 33:57Speaker 3: than the fact that we tried to make speedos. We
- 34:02Speaker 3: tried to make speedos for our guy. So it was
- 34:06Speaker 3: just Robbie and Robbie's cousin who were on the trip
- 34:09Speaker 3: with us, So two guys, and we wanted to make
- 34:12Speaker 3: them speedos because like in Europe, that's like what you wear.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I always, I told Robbie, like my dad, I grew
- 34:18Speaker 3: up with the dad in speedos because my dad was
- 34:20Speaker 3: super euro So like, I've known nothing different. Do you
- 34:24Speaker 3: see the photo?
- 34:25Speaker 2: No, I have not found it yet, but just your
- 34:27Speaker 2: dad and this speedo.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Is quite yeah, So that's how I grew up. And
- 34:31Speaker 3: so like I love speedos and I think Robbie is
- 34:33Speaker 3: like so hot and I'm just like dying for him
- 34:36Speaker 3: to be in a speedo, and so this is like
- 34:38Speaker 3: the perfect opportunity. We were doing this trip for my
- 34:41Speaker 3: girlfriend's thirtieth birthday one in Rome, like let's do the speedos.
- 34:45Speaker 3: And we were gonna get them like made to say
- 34:48Speaker 3: like daddy or whatever. They fell through. We couldn't get
- 34:53Speaker 3: them in time, and so we just kind of like
- 34:56Speaker 3: dropped it whatever. It didn't really and then we were
- 34:59Speaker 3: just drawn this day and we were just talking about
- 35:04Speaker 3: how bummed we were that we didn't get the speedos made,
- 35:06Speaker 3: and like it would have been so fun because like
- 35:07Speaker 3: that was like the beach day and we were like
- 35:09Speaker 3: on a boat and he was like if any does it,
- 35:12Speaker 3: Like it just kind of all happened, and my Paulina
- 35:15Speaker 3: was like, I have spare bathing suits that I brought,
- 35:17Speaker 3: and he just was like I'll take it.
- 35:20Speaker 2: And he put it on, and he put it.
- 35:23Speaker 3: He didn't really he got in the way. He jumped
- 35:25Speaker 3: in the water as fast as humanly possible. So he
- 35:28Speaker 3: wasn't like parading around in it by any means, but
- 35:31Speaker 3: he jumped in the water quickly. And then I jumped
- 35:34Speaker 3: in the water, and then uh, I think at that
- 35:37Speaker 3: point he was kind of like, you know, everybody was like,
- 35:39Speaker 3: oh my gosh, this is too good. So they started
- 35:41Speaker 3: taking photos of us. And I'm surprised to let me
- 35:44Speaker 3: post it, but he did, in fact let me post it.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Wow, he's got to be a confident guy.
- 35:49Speaker 3: It's a really beautiful photo because we're like on a
- 35:52Speaker 3: We're both just straight out of the water, and like
- 35:55Speaker 3: the water looks really pretty, the sun's like kind of
- 35:59Speaker 3: going down.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's all well and good. I'm more focused on his junk.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Oh.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I think he's got to be a very confident guy
- 36:06Speaker 2: to post a speedo photo. I posted it, okay, but
- 36:10Speaker 2: he gave you permission to post.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I would never post without permission.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I would never put one on and if I did,
- 36:15Speaker 2: I would never let anyone take the photo. And if
- 36:17Speaker 2: they did, I would need to destroy their phone and
- 36:20Speaker 2: the cloud as well if necessary.
- 36:23Speaker 3: You know, he enjoyed, like I don't know, when we
- 36:26Speaker 3: were on our honeymoon, he posted a little bit of
- 36:28Speaker 3: like a spicy photo, which people like, surprise he posted it. Yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 3: I was like, you know what, we're just living. We're
- 36:35Speaker 3: just like living our best lives.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Sure, all right, yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I had, but he took it off and I washed
- 36:41Speaker 3: it for her.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I was like, that's very nice. Yeah, yeah, that's common courtesy.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Yeah it felt nice, nice of me. But yeah, that's
- 36:49Speaker 3: like a whole other level, like my husband is wearing
- 36:51Speaker 3: my best friends bathing steep bottles.
- 36:53Speaker 2: That is a whole other level that I've not experienced
- 36:55Speaker 2: that level.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a nice level though.
- 36:58Speaker 2: You're watching shows. We were talking about this before we
- 37:01Speaker 2: went on. You watched Happy Gilmore too.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I okay, So I watched Happy Gilmore too and was thrilled.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Really yes, how much do you remember? But Happy Gilmore?
- 37:12Speaker 3: I've watched it multiple times, many many times.
- 37:15Speaker 2: I am a rare. I think my generation loves Happy
- 37:17Speaker 2: Gilmore and I don't. I thought it was fine. I
- 37:19Speaker 2: don't remember loving that movie. I thought it was okay
- 37:22Speaker 2: jail and I haven't bothered to watch number two because
- 37:24Speaker 2: I don't think I like Number one that much. That's
- 37:26Speaker 2: jail time, and I enjoy Adam Sandler. I'm sorry, I
- 37:29Speaker 2: guess I'm going to jail. I'm not that excited about it.
- 37:32Speaker 3: So number two is like phenomenal.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I heard it wasn't. It got bad reviews. It got
- 37:38Speaker 2: bad reviews, It got bad reviews. I don't know, but
- 37:42Speaker 2: I'll find out find.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Out, because let me tell you, Bad Bunny was hysterical,
- 37:49Speaker 3: Like I didn't know what to expect from Bad Bunny,
- 37:53Speaker 3: and he blew my socks off. I found him to
- 37:55Speaker 3: be so freaking funny. I love that he puts his
- 38:00Speaker 3: daughter and and his wife like every movie camera.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I have no beef for Adam Sadler. I bet he's
- 38:07Speaker 2: a great guy.
- 38:07Speaker 3: A nod like they had like a lot of like
- 38:09Speaker 3: nods to the first movie in like very subtle ways
- 38:13Speaker 3: that I thought were like really well done and thought out.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well, there's the element that you mentioned in a trending
- 38:20Speaker 2: report about him hiring Julie Bowen when she thought there's
- 38:22Speaker 2: no way he's gonna bring her back.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but do you are the funniest thing. I'm gonna
- 38:27Speaker 3: give a spoiler alert, so if you have not watched
- 38:28Speaker 3: Happy Gilmore, please fast forward, maybe like for one more minute.
- 38:34Speaker 3: I was laughing because there's a whole articles, all these
- 38:37Speaker 3: articles out how we can't believe that he brought Julie
- 38:39Speaker 3: Bowen back to play his wife. She dies within the
- 38:41Speaker 3: first like two minutes of the movie. I was like,
- 38:46Speaker 3: oh my gosh, this was such a big deal. And
- 38:48Speaker 3: then Bam dies and.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Does he start dating someone younger?
- 38:52Speaker 3: No, but the whole thing is, like, the whole story
- 38:55Speaker 3: is he's trying to like provide for his kids.
- 38:58Speaker 2: So it's kind of heartwarming and sad and yeah they
- 39:01Speaker 2: play that real. They don't play a joke.
- 39:02Speaker 3: No, correct correct, But I was just like, oh my gosh,
- 39:05Speaker 3: this is so.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Funny or is that too much of a spoiler?
- 39:09Speaker 3: Hits with a hit, hit in the head with a oh.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Gosh, how sad? How perfect for happy.
- 39:19Speaker 3: I guess literally? So anyways, I loved Happy Gilmore too,
- 39:23Speaker 3: big big fan, can't wait to watch it again. I'm
- 39:26Speaker 3: currently in the thick of Love Island UK, the new
- 39:30Speaker 3: season that's currently airing. I got so far behind.
- 39:33Speaker 2: This is what it is. Not as buzzy as USA
- 39:35Speaker 2: was USA. Everybody was talking, but I'm not hearing anything
- 39:37Speaker 2: about UK. My kids could care less.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Well, your kids need to get on board because this
- 39:42Speaker 3: season of UK is very good. I am unfortunately still
- 39:47Speaker 3: very behind.
- 39:49Speaker 2: And you make Robbie watch this, hey please?
- 39:54Speaker 3: He loves it. Okay, not as much as I do.
- 39:58Speaker 3: But it's it's background TV. It's like fall Asleep too TV.
- 40:01Speaker 3: It's not anything that you need to just like focus on.
- 40:04Speaker 3: So it's just like nice. But I have a list
- 40:06Speaker 3: of shows that I want to.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Get to that I feel like, well, let's hear them.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Hunting Wives. I feel like everybody's been talking about it
- 40:12Speaker 3: and talking about how good it is.
- 40:14Speaker 2: What is it?
- 40:16Speaker 3: So it is a I don't know. I feel like
- 40:20Speaker 3: it's Desperate Housewives meets the L word.
- 40:23Speaker 2: And it's on Netflix. Yeah, okay, is that good?
- 40:26Speaker 3: Is that a good description? Desper housewive meets the L word.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Sophie trade city life for East Texas and falls into
- 40:31Speaker 2: a wealthy, wealthy socialites magnetic orbit where a click of
- 40:34Speaker 2: housewives hide deadly secrets. Uh oh, Katie Low's our friend.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Yes, and Mets and Brittany Snow.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Britney Snow Yep, she's on there. What's a good cast? Yeah?
- 40:47Speaker 3: Okay, So that's like on the top of my list,
- 40:49Speaker 3: and I feel like Robbie probably won't want to watch that,
- 40:50Speaker 3: so that needs to be a Tanya show. And then
- 40:53Speaker 3: We Were Liars is also on my list. That's the
- 40:55Speaker 3: one of the Candace King that we had on the podcast.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I've been like really wanting to watch that and it's
- 41:00Speaker 3: really good.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Reviews that is on Amazon Prime.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Yes, this summer I turned pretty as well. Yes, I
- 41:07Speaker 3: heard so that's why I've watched one episode and I'm like, uh.
- 41:11Speaker 3: And then My Oxford Year is Sophia's new movie, and
- 41:16Speaker 3: I was supposed to go to the premiere that is
- 41:18Speaker 3: the day that I went down. Yeah, but it's actually
- 41:21Speaker 3: really cute because so I was going to take my
- 41:24Speaker 3: steps on. It was just going to be me and
- 41:25Speaker 3: him because there was she only had two tickets and
- 41:29Speaker 3: I ended up getting sick and so I was like
- 41:31Speaker 3: I went to him and I was like, I'm not
- 41:33Speaker 3: feeling good. I'm not going to make it, and he
- 41:34Speaker 3: was like, I still want to go and support Sofia.
- 41:37Speaker 3: I know.
- 41:37Speaker 2: So cute.
- 41:38Speaker 3: So Robbie ended up taking him and I got him
- 41:41Speaker 3: flowers to give to her after and she thought it
- 41:44Speaker 3: was really really sweet. So it was sweet. But what
- 41:47Speaker 3: was so surprising is when Robbie came home, he was
- 41:49Speaker 3: like talking about how amazing the movie was and how
- 41:52Speaker 3: much he cried, and he was like this is have
- 41:54Speaker 3: you watched it? Sham I know, and he was like
- 41:59Speaker 3: talking to me about how he thinks it's Sophia's best movie. Yeah,
- 42:03Speaker 3: but I knew that I was going to elicit tears,
- 42:05Speaker 3: and so I didn't want to watch it while we
- 42:07Speaker 3: were in a visa because I just.
- 42:10Speaker 2: That's not the mood for a visa. Correct.
- 42:12Speaker 3: So I'm actually going to watch it. I'm going to
- 42:13Speaker 3: watch it tonight.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Yeah, now that I'm.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Like back and you may not be the person ask
- 42:19Speaker 2: this of, and I realized.
- 42:21Speaker 3: That to watch the Bear season four.
- 42:23Speaker 2: No, but I need to get your opinion on the
- 42:26Speaker 2: end of it and just like that and just like
- 42:30Speaker 2: that is ending with the current season and airs in
- 42:32Speaker 2: a couple of weeks and there will be no more.
- 42:34Speaker 2: This is the end of the line for Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Charlotte,
- 42:41Speaker 2: not Samantha. Yeah, but it's the end of the line. Yeah.
- 42:44Speaker 2: So your thoughts, It's so sad that I have none.
- 42:49Speaker 2: You have no thoughts on.
- 42:50Speaker 3: It, literally none, because the show was so iconic, and
- 42:54Speaker 3: I find myself watching the old ones still now, like
- 42:58Speaker 3: just like maybe two weeks ago, as in season four,
- 43:01Speaker 3: and just laughing and just feeling so relatable and I
- 43:05Speaker 3: just feel like they lost the plot.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but Easton and Becka do watch but they hate it.
- 43:09Speaker 3: They hate watch it, which is even worse in my opinion,
- 43:14Speaker 3: because it was so good and now you're hate watching
- 43:16Speaker 3: a show that was so iconic.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I hate watching. I think it's just that if there's
- 43:19Speaker 2: If Charlotte and if these women that I love so
- 43:22Speaker 2: much are living their lives and it's on television, I
- 43:25Speaker 2: have to watch that. Isn't that kind of that feeling.
- 43:27Speaker 2: It is not so much hate watching, it's I don't
- 43:29Speaker 2: want to lose the storyline that I love.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I don't want the image of what they are now
- 43:34Speaker 3: to overshadow what they were, which was iconic.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I was sad to hear that it was
- 43:40Speaker 2: going away. You were, I was a little bit. Yeah.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I've seen people online being like did I hate the show?
- 43:45Speaker 2: Yes?
- 43:45Speaker 1: But am I devastated that it's ending? Also?
- 43:47Speaker 3: Yes?
- 43:48Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 43:49Speaker 1: That seems to be the consensus not here.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I mean, it's not that dissimilar to Gray's Anatomy. I
- 43:54Speaker 2: mean there are definitely shows that I have hate watched
- 43:57Speaker 2: just enduring them and yeah, what it ends going to
- 44:00Speaker 2: be sad?
- 44:00Speaker 3: Like when I was watching The Pulse and I was like,
- 44:03Speaker 3: this show sucks, and then it was over and I
- 44:05Speaker 3: was like I kind of liked it.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Right, and it didn't get renewed. You were really bummed
- 44:07Speaker 2: by Yeah, I was.
- 44:08Speaker 3: I was bummed. Yeah, but they also did didn't leave
- 44:11Speaker 3: a cliffhanger. They buttoned it up with a little bow.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Not that feels foreshadowing if I'm being honest.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Hmmm, Well, I did watch season four of The Bear
- 44:23Speaker 2: and it was phenomenal, so I will say that. So, yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 2: are you a beraor person if you watched any of
- 44:28Speaker 2: The Bear?
- 44:28Speaker 3: I have not.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Okay, well that's fine.
- 44:30Speaker 3: My husband has.
- 44:31Speaker 2: That's great. You just said your husband I know, and
- 44:35Speaker 2: just sends a rush of adrenaline through you. It does.
- 44:37Speaker 2: It's an endorphin release every time.
- 44:39Speaker 3: It never goes away.
- 44:40Speaker 2: I I hope so too.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Somebody messaged me a couple of days ago and it
- 44:44Speaker 3: was like it was like a photo that I posted
- 44:46Speaker 3: Robby and they're like, it's giving young, hot and in
- 44:49Speaker 3: love couple, and I was like, I hope that we
- 44:51Speaker 3: always have that essence even as we get older, you know,
- 44:55Speaker 3: just like so in love, I feel like just more
- 45:00Speaker 3: in awe of each other as the days go on.
- 45:02Speaker 3: I hope it grows.
- 45:03Speaker 2: I hope so I do.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 45:06Speaker 2: My wife and I celebrated twenty three years on the
- 45:10Speaker 2: Empire State Building last week that was our anniversary. Yeah,
- 45:14Speaker 2: it was pretty perfect. And that was that day where
- 45:15Speaker 2: we did a million things that day that was our
- 45:17Speaker 2: wedding anniversary. It was kind of great. And we met
- 45:19Speaker 2: a couple on top of the Empire of State Building.
- 45:21Speaker 2: They were celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Oh cut.
- 45:25Speaker 2: On the same day. Yeah, that is really cute.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you know my first I were like at
- 45:35Speaker 3: five six months Wait, what is it March, April, May, June,
- 45:38Speaker 3: July or five months?
- 45:39Speaker 2: Five months? Yeah, flew by, flew.
- 45:41Speaker 3: By the past five months of my life. Can't wait
- 45:46Speaker 3: for our one year.
- 45:47Speaker 2: It's gonna be great. Yeah, going back to Mexico, going
- 45:50Speaker 2: back back, all right, well I think that's it for us.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, it's time to g o.
- 45:57Speaker 2: I mean, we just flew by. You know what they said,
- 46:00Speaker 2: time flies and you're having fun. It does, Is that
- 46:03Speaker 2: what you were thinking? Yeah, okay, yeah, I should just
- 46:06Speaker 2: let you go. It always works out better if you
